00:01:26.000 Okay, everybody, happy Monday.

00:01:27.000 We are here live in beautiful Palm Beach, still on assignment to fulfill the mandate, the mandate that you gave President Trump, that the American people gave President Trump to have meaningful and substantial government reform.

00:01:44.000 It is the center of the political universe here in Palm Beach.

00:01:48.000 I'll tell you, you go to a Starbucks, you see a senator.

00:01:50.000 You go to a McDonald's, you see President Trump.

00:01:53.000 I'm half kidding.

00:01:54.000 You go to just a local restaurant, it's the CNBC place.

00:01:57.000 The best thing I could compare, it's like the Republican National Convention every single day for two or three weeks straight.

00:02:04.000 And we're helping out wherever we can, you know, filling holes, meeting with people, trying to make sure that the mandate is fulfilled.

00:02:13.000 And that mandate is very clear and very simple.

00:02:16.000 Nearly three weeks ago, we were on pins and needles.

00:02:19.000 Three weeks ago, we were praying and the Lord delivered.

00:02:22.000 And glory be to God in the highest for giving us and this nation another opportunity.

00:02:28.000 I think I speak for everyone in this audience that when we heard the news and we saw the news, there was this massive sigh of relief.

00:02:38.000 However, the work is just beginning.

00:02:40.000 Donald Trump is going to be subverted by the intel community.

00:02:44.000 He is going to be spied on.

00:02:46.000 He is going to be lied upon.

00:02:47.000 He's going to be leaked.

00:02:49.000 We are at our high right now and there will be downs and there will be ups.

00:02:52.000 And there will be valleys, there will be troughs, there will be summits.

00:02:57.000 We must persevere through all of it.

00:03:00.000 You see, President Trump has an opportunity given by the American people that is not a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

00:03:07.000 This is a once-in-many-lifetimes opportunity.

00:03:10.000 I was sitting down with an incredibly successful businessman this last weekend.

00:03:15.000 Incredibly successful.

00:03:16.000 One of the most on the planet.

00:03:18.000 Not Elon Musk, but somebody else.

00:03:20.000 And he said, Charlie, I've lived 70 plus years.

00:03:24.000 This is unlike anything I've ever seen.

00:03:26.000 I said, what do you mean?

00:03:26.000 He said, the combination of the world's richest man, of an American comeback story, like President Trump, Winning the popular vote, winning the electoral vote, and then overcoming all of the things that they tried to stop him with, and then running on very transparently issues the media told you not to run on.

00:03:49.000 He made the very astute point.

00:03:50.000 He ran on mass deportations.

00:03:52.000 He ran on bringing peace to Ukraine.

00:03:56.000 He ran on tariffs.

00:03:57.000 He ran on all the issues.

00:03:59.000 The media said, you can't say that.

00:04:00.000 You can't say that.

00:04:01.000 You can't say that.

00:04:01.000 And he leaned into it and he still won in a record way.

00:04:06.000 On the trans stuff, et cetera, et cetera.

00:04:09.000 This is a once in many lifetimes opportunity.

00:04:12.000 And phase one was just getting more votes than the bad guys.

00:04:17.000 Now we have to assemble Trump's team, which is we are living in phase two.

00:04:21.000 However, there is this major impediment from fulfilling the mandate.

00:04:26.000 There is this major obstacle.

00:04:28.000 And this is exactly why at Turning Point Action we are doing one of our most ambitious projects yet, despite it being in the middle of January and early February, where we are going to encourage very directly Every single one of these Republican senators that might not believe that this is a once-in-many lifetime opportunity.

00:04:50.000 Understand, there is legitimate fear.

00:04:53.000 There is palpable terror in Washington DC right now.

00:04:57.000 The more and more meetings that I'm in, and the more senators I'm talking to, the more people they say, Charlie, this is totally unlike 2016. You see, in 2016, it was a surprise for two people.

00:05:08.000 They were surprised that Trump won, but also the Trump team was not ready for the ambush that was awaiting them.

00:05:17.000 The Trump team was not ready for all the deep state actors that were subverting.

00:05:21.000 Michael Flynn being spied upon six days into the administration.

00:05:24.000 They were not ready for Russiagate.

00:05:26.000 There will be no Russiagate this time.

00:05:29.000 Knock on wood and knock on glass.

00:05:31.000 If there is, no one's going to believe it.

00:05:33.000 Pam Bondi is resolutely pro-American and in President Trump's corner. 0.95

00:05:37.000 She's not going to play ball with any of that stuff.

00:05:39.000 Just think last time.

00:05:40.000 We had a deal with Chuck Schumer threatening you that the intel agencies have six ways from Sunday to get back at you.

00:05:48.000 We have many different people saying that The Russians heavily involved themselves in our election.

00:05:58.000 We have a mandate this time.

00:06:00.000 Popular vote, electoral vote.

00:06:02.000 And every single swing state.

00:06:03.000 Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin.

00:06:07.000 It's completely different.

00:06:09.000 You have a Trump team that is prepared for the saboteurs.

00:06:12.000 In 2016, 2017, D.C. wasn't afraid of Trump.

00:06:16.000 They were kind of confused.

00:06:19.000 How did this guy win?

00:06:21.000 How do we do this?

00:06:23.000 Now there is legitimate fear.

00:06:26.000 And Donald Trump has been brilliant in his strategy to flood the zone.

00:06:32.000 Tulsi Gabbard, Bobby Kennedy, Pete Hegsett.

00:06:36.000 Over the top you have Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.

00:06:40.000 All these incredible patriots one by one by one to flood the zone.

00:06:46.000 This is a once in many lifetimes opportunity.

00:06:50.000 It may never, ever, ever, ever happen again.

00:06:53.000 And that's exactly why I am here in Palm Beach, to just help a little bit here, a little millimeter of help here, a little inch of help here, to not squander this.

00:07:03.000 It is very tempting to want to rest on our laurels and think everything's going to be fine.

00:07:10.000 We won the election.

00:07:11.000 No, now the real battle begins.

00:07:13.000 And I know everybody in this audience feels similarly.

00:07:16.000 Because there is legitimate, this is not performative, this is not faking, there's legitimate shrieking and gnashing of teeth in the kingdom of Washington, D.C. Because there's an element that didn't exist last time.

00:07:31.000 You have Elon Musk with one of the most popular platforms on the planet, X, which is now at the top of the App Store like every day, who is going to broadcast the revolution live.

00:07:41.000 They can't control that, and they know it, and it really bothers them.

00:07:46.000 No longer is it going to be the conduit to CBS, ABC, NBC. Oh, here's this.

00:07:51.000 No one listens to that stuff.

00:07:52.000 Legacy media is dying.

00:07:54.000 It's decreasing.

00:07:55.000 The Hallmark Channel is beating CNN and MSNBC. I know it's Chris, people like Hallmark movies, but still, no one is watching that stuff.

00:08:03.000 The revolution is being broadcast live on X, and the American Renaissance is underway.

00:08:10.000 And they are afraid that Trump is going to do Schedule F. That Trump is going to just throw doge at them.

00:08:16.000 Meanwhile, we have reforms of the DOJ, reforms of HHS, Truth and Transparency, Reconciliation Commission, pardons for January 6th nonviolent offenders, pardon for Ross Ulbricht, not to mention JFK files being released.

00:08:30.000 How can they play defense against us?

00:08:32.000 They can't.

00:08:33.000 Donald Trump is blitzing the linebackers.

00:08:36.000 And they do not have the protection to be able to keep their little regime happy.

00:08:41.000 And so we cannot squander this.

00:08:43.000 And personnel is policy.

00:08:45.000 However, standing in the way and the immediate threat is not Chuck U. Schumer.

00:08:51.000 It's not Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

00:08:53.000 It's not Nancy Pelosi.

00:08:55.000 It's not Akeem Jeffries.

00:08:56.000 It's none of those characters.

00:08:59.000 No, no, no.

00:08:59.000 Standing currently in the mandate that the American people gave them, standing in the way, Are some, not all, are some slow-moving Senate Republicans.

00:09:09.000 Now, we want to take an encouragement posture here on this program because these people haven't necessarily told us how they'll vote, but they are foreshadowing it.

00:09:18.000 They're trying to tell you a little bit ahead of time, ah, it's not going to go great.

00:09:24.000 And we're going to name some of those names of these people that inexcusably think that the American people voted for them.

00:09:32.000 The American people voted for Trump and they begrudgingly filled in the Senate Republican bubble after that.

00:09:39.000 And Dave McCormick gets it, great man.

00:09:41.000 Bernie Moreno gets it, great man.

00:09:43.000 Tim Sheehy gets it.

00:09:44.000 You see, these recently newly minted Senate Republicans are all for Donald Trump's picks because they are fresh and they know, holy crow, I would not be here if it wasn't for President Trump.

00:09:53.000 But these old pros, these old bulls, That are inherited from a generation-long loss where they still think that Russia's our greatest enemy.

00:10:03.000 Oh, no, no.

00:10:04.000 They think that the revolution can be stopped there.

00:10:07.000 But we, the people, are going to make sure that we have a different set of circumstances than years prior.

00:10:19.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:11:25.000 This is a once-in-many-lifetimes opportunity.

00:11:31.000 Thank you.

00:11:32.000 A once in many generation opportunity.

00:11:35.000 You could make the argument that there's only been three or four moments like this in American history to get us back on to the founders vision.

00:11:44.000 You can make the argument that this is bigger than anything that Reagan even did in the 80s.

00:11:51.000 You can make that argument.

00:11:52.000 Not that the political victory was bigger, but Reagan did not argue for this kind of transformation.

00:12:01.000 The contrast is so different between the Democrat Party and this party.

00:12:05.000 Carter-Reagan had differences.

00:12:06.000 They were way more similar than they were apart.

00:12:09.000 They just were.

00:12:10.000 Carter was just a bad operator and a pessimist and had bad big government ideas.

00:12:15.000 Reagan was an optimist, loved the country, but Reagan was not trying to go and disassemble the Leviathan.

00:12:25.000 That just wasn't Reagan's mandate.

00:12:26.000 In fact, Reagan Wanted to close the Department of Education?

00:12:31.000 It was bigger by the end of his term.

00:12:33.000 Just a fact.

00:12:34.000 And let's be honest.

00:12:35.000 This was an attempted color revolution.

00:12:37.000 And we have all the tables set.

00:12:39.000 The people voted for it.

00:12:40.000 We ballot chased.

00:12:41.000 We registered voters.

00:12:42.000 We secured our elections.

00:12:44.000 We won young people.

00:12:46.000 We have this incredible momentum.

00:12:48.000 Donald Trump is doing what he said he's going to do.

00:12:50.000 He's picking all-star after all-star.

00:12:51.000 Peg Seth, Bobby Kennedy, Tulsi, despite all the yammering class.

00:12:55.000 Oh, you can't pick Bobby.

00:12:56.000 Boom.

00:12:57.000 You can't pick Tulsi.

00:12:58.000 Boom.

00:12:59.000 And now, now we have some people standing in the way.

00:13:03.000 But let me first just kind of set the table, and then I'm going to show you one of the senators who's standing in the way.

00:13:09.000 Let's go to cut 14. 59% of Americans approve how Trump is handling his transition.

00:13:15.000 Play cut 14. Our latest CBS News poll shows that 59% of Americans approve of how President-elect Donald Trump is handling the presidential transition.

00:13:26.000 And now cut 16. Our polling also finds many of the president-elect's well-known designees have more support than opposition, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and Pete Hegseth.

00:13:40.000 So here we are with this all-star team.

00:13:42.000 Who could be against this?

00:13:44.000 Who could be against Tulsi Gabbard, for example?

00:13:48.000 Former co-chair of the DNC, Privacy Hawk, understands the threat and the menace of the intel agencies.

00:13:57.000 She intimately understands how the intel community can lie about you, leak on you, and subvert our country.

00:14:05.000 Well, I could tell you one person who could potentially be against that he's not there yet.

00:14:10.000 But again, they deploy Mr. Lankford for the dirty work of the US Senate.

00:14:16.000 He was obviously deployed by Mr. Mitch.

00:14:20.000 To go do this ridiculous bipartisan border bill that became a top talking point. 0.99

00:14:25.000 I don't have a lot of time, but let me understand.

00:14:27.000 Let me tell you why.

00:14:28.000 Mr. Lankford from Oklahoma fits all the criteria.

00:14:31.000 Number one, he is immune from the voters till 2028. Number two, he's from a deep red state.

00:14:39.000 And number three, for whatever reason, he's a lackey of leadership. 0.98

00:14:44.000 Now, to be clear, he has not said he will vote against Tulsi Gabbard yet, but he is peddling this repulsive garbage against an American patriot, Tulsi Gabbard. 0.94

00:14:54.000 Play cut 17. Does anything about her concern you? 0.87

00:15:02.000 Well, we'll have lots of questions.

00:15:03.000 She met with Bashir Assad.

00:15:04.000 We'll want to know what the purpose was and what the direction for that was.

00:15:08.000 As a member of Congress, we'll want to get a chance to talk about past comments that she's made and get them into full context.

00:15:13.000 So sure, there's comments that are floating out there, but we want to be able to know the rest of the story.

00:15:20.000 What exactly do you think is the rest of the story, Senator Langford?

00:15:23.000 What do you think that would be?

00:15:25.000 No, the answer should be that President Trump gets the cabinet of his choosing.

00:15:30.000 Allow me to put this whole that Tulsi is a Russian asset smear to bed once and for all.

00:15:35.000 Hillary Clinton invented the lie about Tulsi because she was supporting Bernie, just like Hillary Clinton invented the Russia hoax about Trump. 0.99

00:15:44.000 Same playbook, same nasty woman. 1.00

00:15:47.000 Now, mind you, this is not the first time that we've seen this kind of maneuvering and kind of Senate backroom dealing.

00:15:57.000 By the way, buried in the same CBS polling is the fact that a majority of Americans, 51 to 49, are against sending more arms and money to Ukraine.

00:16:06.000 It is deeply unpopular to continue to escalate the conflict in Ukraine, just like me, just like Tulsi.

00:16:15.000 This is a once in many lifetimes opportunity that has been given to us, that you, the American people, gave to us, gave to anyone that is remotely involved in this.

00:16:26.000 And we must remember that the Senate works for the people.

00:16:30.000 They are not an unelected Praetorian guard that gets to say that we know what's better.

00:16:36.000 Advise and consent, do that.

00:16:38.000 But do not vote against Tulsi Gabbard, which I was saying Senator Langford will do, but he's flirting with some really dangerous stuff there.

00:16:46.000 That is completely baseless.

00:16:48.000 So Democrats basically want to smear the majority of Americans as Russian assets.

00:16:52.000 That's what they've been doing the last seven to eight years.

00:16:56.000 Remember, there are three or four plays in DC that you can try to accuse people basically of sex crimes.

00:17:02.000 That's Hegseth and Gates.

00:17:04.000 You can call somebody a racist.

00:17:06.000 They're also trying to deal with Hegseth.

00:17:07.000 Or you can call them a Russian asset.

00:17:10.000 Instead of getting down to policy disagreements, they call you names.

00:17:18.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:17:19.000 This year, I've given you so many reasons to try Balance In Nature, but I've got one you cannot ignore.

00:18:24.000 A good man who we've been chatting quite a lot, Senator Mark Wayne Mullen from Oklahoma.

00:18:28.000 Senator, thank you for taking the time here.

00:18:30.000 Senator, you went viral this weekend for pushing back on the comments made by your colleague in the Senate, Tammy Duckworth.

00:18:37.000 I'm going to play that piece of tape here.

00:18:40.000 Actually, I'm going to first play the Tammy Duckworth tape and then have you respond to it here live.

00:18:44.000 Let's play cut 10 to set the table, please.

00:18:47.000 Now, you and Tulsi Gabbard are both veterans.

00:18:49.000 You served with her in the House.

00:18:51.000 What do you think of her?

00:18:52.000 Well, I think she's compromised.

00:18:54.000 I think by going to Syria and basically backing a brutal dictator there, I mean, Russian-controlled media called her a Russian asset.

00:19:07.000 So I do think that we have a real deep concern whether or not She's a compromised person.

00:19:14.000 And frankly, the U.S. Intelligence Committee has identified her as having troubling relationships with America's foes.

00:19:24.000 And so my worry is that she couldn't pass a background check.

00:19:28.000 Senator, your reaction to that? 0.99

00:19:30.000 It's ridiculous. 0.99

00:19:31.000 As I said right after her, it's absurd to say that. 0.91

00:19:35.000 I mean, Tulsi Gabbard is a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army.

00:19:37.000 She commands the reserve unit in Oklahoma and Missouri.

00:19:41.000 She since then has been promoted.

00:19:43.000 I'm pretty sure if she was compromised, the United States Army wouldn't have her as a lieutenant colonel. 0.56

00:19:47.000 And Tammy Duckworth... 1.00

00:19:48.000 Is being extremely dangerous, and I mean that, extremely dangerous, and to redact those words for even saying that, because she knows better.

00:19:57.000 She's a veteran herself.

00:19:59.000 She's served in the Army.

00:20:00.000 She understands the vetting that takes place even before you get promoted, especially to an 05, which is a lieutenant colonel.

00:20:07.000 And they serve together.

00:20:09.000 And so she's just a pundit of the Democrat Party by going out and saying these dangerous words because she wants to instill fear in the American people because of their hatred to Donald Trump. 0.84

00:20:21.000 Yeah, and I just, I mean, so Senator, I want to take a step back here.

00:20:25.000 There's typically in the U.S. Senate...

00:20:28.000 Obviously advise and consent, but there is this code that you will not speak negatively publicly against another colleague.

00:20:34.000 At least it's an unspoken rule, right?

00:20:36.000 Now, Tulsi is not a member of the Senate, but shouldn't there be similar sort of respect for fellow veterans and people that are currently serving?

00:20:45.000 I mean, I find this to be a repulsive comment by Senator Duckworth and with no basis whatsoever.

00:20:52.000 I'm sure you agree in theme, Senator, here.

00:20:56.000 Well, it's even deeper.

00:20:58.000 It is kind of an unwritten code that you walk on very dangerous ground, or what I say, hot coals, when you're talking about a fellow member or a colleague of yours.

00:21:09.000 But it's even deeper when you start talking about a veteran.

00:21:13.000 And, and, and she, and, and Tulsi's not, not a veteran yet because she's still in the Army.

00:21:19.000 But when you start talking about Tammy Duckworth and talking about someone that is still in uniform, that is a, that is a, that is, I would say you're not just walking on hot coals.

00:21:31.000 You're completely on fire and out of touch because there's a lot of men and women in uniform that's going to push back on you immediately because of what you're saying.

00:21:41.000 And it's absurd.

00:21:42.000 And let me reiterate this, Charlie.

00:21:44.000 It's absurd for her to say that.

00:21:46.000 Tulsi is a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army, and you're saying she's a Russian asset?

00:21:53.000 So you're saying that the United States Army is corrupt?

00:21:56.000 You're saying that those that promoted her promoted a Russian asset and knowingly is letting her serve and command the reserve unit in Oklahoma and Missouri?

00:22:10.000 You're saying that the United States Army doesn't know what you know? 0.97

00:22:13.000 That is ridiculous.

00:22:16.000 Yeah, and so I want to just once and for all, Senator, kind of clear the air on this. 0.88

00:22:21.000 The New York Times just published a ridiculous piece a couple days ago saying that Tulsi Gabbard was a Putin propagandist and essentially a Russian asset.

00:22:31.000 Not until six paragraphs down do they finally fess up and admit there's absolutely zero evidence she ever collaborated with Russian intelligence.

00:22:39.000 And so you have to ask the question, where does this come from?

00:22:43.000 This comes from her having different foreign policy views, which is part of the country.

00:22:48.000 You can have disagreements on certain stuff.

00:22:50.000 I certainly am against what's happening in Ukraine.

00:22:52.000 People can disagree.

00:22:53.000 Fine.

00:22:54.000 However, we're getting to really dangerous territory where you can call someone a Putin propagandist.

00:23:00.000 I thought the US Senate would take advice and consent, at least with a heavier weight, right, Senator, than engaging in the Anonymous throwing of accusations.

00:23:16.000 And so can we clear the air here?

00:23:18.000 What are the accusations against Tulsi Gabbard and what is the truth center to the best of your knowledge?

00:23:23.000 Well, the accusation is the same thing they accused President Trump of being, right?

00:23:28.000 The Russian collusion, Russian asset.

00:23:33.000 He's compromised because he has business, because he conversates with Putin.

00:23:38.000 It's the same storybook that the Democrats used on Oregon, and you said that best. 0.98

00:23:44.000 I mean, either you're a racist, you're a misogynist, or you're a Russian spy. 0.97

00:23:51.000 That's kind of like their playbook that they continue to go over and over and over again with. 0.92

00:23:57.000 And so what people are complaining about is in, I think it was 2019, maybe 2020. I can't remember which year it was.

00:24:05.000 But Tulsi went to Syria on her own.

00:24:09.000 She was a member of Congress when she did that.

00:24:12.000 She took a she took a Codel over to to Jordan. 0.83

00:24:17.000 She entered into Syria and she was having a meeting with Assad at the time.

00:24:22.000 There was there was there was she got intercepted.

00:24:27.000 It shouldn't have took place, but she did.

00:24:30.000 And then they was there was a video released of her.

00:24:34.000 This didn't mean that she was she was an asset.

00:24:37.000 She did get she did get compromised for a second.

00:24:41.000 I'm not her herself didn't get compromised, but her her trip got compromised because the media that took a picture of her and then took a video of her and release it to the public.

00:24:51.000 It was never supposed to be public.

00:24:53.000 And now they're all said and they're saying that she was a Russian asset.

00:24:56.000 Remember, she was in the United States Army at that time, too.

00:25:00.000 And there was a small investigation that was done.

00:25:04.000 It was completely found baseless.

00:25:07.000 And completely pushed out.

00:25:09.000 Since then, she's ran for President of the United States, and she's been promoted twice.

00:25:15.000 So I really, there's nothing there.

00:25:19.000 There is nothing that they can even talk about other than their hatred towards Tulsi because she left the Democrat woke movement and said that this isn't the Democrat Party that she once was part of, and now she's part of the Republican Party, and that's really what it comes down to.

00:25:35.000 Okay, Senator.

00:25:36.000 Senator, can you walk us through the confirmation schedule as far as the timeline of how this works?

00:25:42.000 So start in early January with advise and consent.

00:25:45.000 Our audience is very confused.

00:25:47.000 You guys can actually start hearings before Trump is president.

00:25:49.000 Is that correct?

00:25:51.000 Yeah, we can start the hearing process and set it up.

00:25:53.000 So on January 4th, which is a Saturday, but I'm just saying technically after January 3rd and everybody gets sworn in to the new Congress, which would be the 119th Congress, we can move in with the hearing process.

00:26:04.000 We can't do actual confirmation, but we can set the stage to do them on January 21st.

00:26:12.000 And what we're trying to do now is do them in blocks.

00:26:14.000 So if we can get the hearing processes done through the committee and then we can set them up on the floor for a vote, the committee passes them, and then we can have them.

00:26:23.000 We can have some of the ones that may not be as tough or as, I guess, ones that are going to go through without any breeze or without any issue.

00:26:35.000 We can put those in a block.

00:26:36.000 When you talk about Pete or when you start talking about – or Peter, you start talking about Tulsi, maybe Pam.

00:26:44.000 Pam shouldn't really have any issues at all. 1.00

00:26:46.000 When you start talking about Bobby Kennedy, those will probably have to go one at a time.

00:26:50.000 But everything can be ready to roll.

00:26:52.000 I don't think there will be a need to do a recess appointments on these.

00:26:57.000 There may be on some of the lower ones that Chuck Schumer just wants to drag his feet on.

00:27:02.000 But the recess process is very difficult.

00:27:05.000 And that's threading a hard needle to be able to get that done We can go into that if you want to into depth.

00:27:11.000 Yeah, so what is, because there's been a lot of coverage on that, both houses, House and Senate need to adjourn, right?

00:27:18.000 And it needs to be for at least 10 days.

00:27:20.000 Again, I have a very Elementary understanding here.

00:27:22.000 Please educate our audience on the recess process.

00:27:25.000 Right, so Article 2, Section 2 gives us the ability to advise and consent, and then we can also recess.

00:27:32.000 And Article 2, Section 3 gives the President the authority to put us into recess.

00:27:37.000 But because this has been tried before, now remember, Article 2, Section 3 has never been evoked ever by the President of the United States.

00:27:45.000 Underneath the Obama administration in 2014, both chambers did recess.

00:27:51.000 And by the way, when both chambers recess, it has to be a procedural motion to do so.

00:28:00.000 It's not debatable, but it is amendable.

00:28:05.000 Meaning that Chuck Schumer can amend it, and then it can go to the House, and Hakeem Jeffries can amend it.

00:28:12.000 They have to be equal.

00:28:13.000 So if they continue to amend it, they could keep us in there for quite some time.

00:28:18.000 When they both adjourn and they're not exactly the same when they go on to recess, then what took place in 2014, Obama went ahead and made an appointment.

00:28:28.000 The Republicans took him to court.

00:28:31.000 The Supreme Court ruled in our favor, and it was a canon decision that actually did that, and it overturned the recess appointment.

00:28:38.000 But say we can get it done.

00:28:40.000 We can get both houses to adjourn.

00:28:44.000 They had to be adjourned and recessed for a minimum of 10 days before the recess appointment can take place.

00:28:50.000 Now, if Article 2, Section 2, we can't agree to it, and underneath Article 2, Section 3, the president can, if both chambers cannot agree, the president can recess us for a set amount of days.

00:29:04.000 If that takes place, the person that is appointed in an over-recess is not a permanent physician.

00:29:12.000 And it's an unpaid position.

00:29:14.000 So they can't get paid, and they still got to get confirmed.

00:29:17.000 And they can only be in possession of that position for a maximum of 201 days or until the next Congress goes in place.

00:29:28.000 So meaning that that's a temporary position unpaid.

00:29:31.000 It's not ideal to do that, but it's the last-ditch effort.

00:29:36.000 If the Democrats try to hold up this administration from actually pushing forward the mandate the American people put forward on Congress.

00:29:46.000 So, Senator, thank you for hanging for another segment.

00:29:48.000 We are told by the media that Bobby Kennedy, Tulsi Gabbard, and Pete Hegseth are unconfirmable.

00:29:54.000 Now, I'm not going to ask you to do Vegas odds here, but is there any evidence to show that there's no way that they can get confirmed?

00:30:00.000 No, absolutely not.

00:30:01.000 I believe they can get confirmed.

00:30:03.000 Peter's going to have a little bit more of a challenge because Matt Gaetz is gone and that kind of gave him some cover under fire.

00:30:11.000 Now Pete is the tip of the spear.

00:30:14.000 I think with the report that is out there right now, the police report, I think it's pretty easy for Peter to go through and explain what took place.

00:30:24.000 And I'm okay with it.

00:30:25.000 I mean, I had a long conversation with him.

00:30:27.000 It's clear that there was nothing wrong.

00:30:30.000 These charges were absolutely false.

00:30:32.000 Not even charges.

00:30:33.000 These accusations were absolutely false.

00:30:34.000 And the police found nothing there.

00:30:36.000 And that's why there was absolutely no charges or even a long investigation of it.

00:30:43.000 They looked at it, said this is ridiculous, this is false, and kicked it out.

00:30:46.000 I think Peter will be fine. 0.89

00:30:47.000 And I'm just saying this is but.

00:30:50.000 I don't think there will, but if something were to come out on anything else on him, then that's going to be very difficult for Peter to move forward.

00:30:58.000 But right now, I think Peter can be confirmed.

00:30:59.000 Tulsi, remember when we're talking about getting people confirmed, it's not about putting yeses on the board.

00:31:05.000 It's from keeping noes going on the board.

00:31:08.000 I think right now Tulsi probably sits at 48 Republicans yes.

00:31:14.000 And the same thing with Bobby.

00:31:15.000 There's going to be about five that we have to work past from putting no's on.

00:31:22.000 And I'm very confident.

00:31:24.000 I mean, if I'm putting odds on this, I'm saying 80 to 90 percent confident that we can get Tulsi and Bobby pushed through.

00:31:31.000 You sat down with Tulsi yesterday.

00:31:33.000 She can articulate herself.

00:31:36.000 She can explain whatever questions they want to.

00:31:39.000 She's comfortable in this situation.

00:31:41.000 You talk to Bobby.

00:31:43.000 Bobby's only problem is that he questions science.

00:31:46.000 That's not a problem.

00:31:47.000 We should question science.

00:31:49.000 And when you sit down and you have Bobby talk to you, he is extremely easy to talk to, very intelligent on these issues, and can break it down in a simple manner.

00:32:01.000 I think those that get to sit down and talk to him will agree with him.

00:32:05.000 Now, is Tulsi going to get any Democrat votes?

00:32:07.000 No.

00:32:07.000 Is Bobby going to get any Democrats?

00:32:09.000 No.

00:32:10.000 But they should be able to get 51, and I would be hoping for 53 Republican votes.

00:32:16.000 So I'm confident we can get those two confirmed.

00:32:20.000 So, Senator, you're breaking some news here, just so that you say that Tulsi probably has five uncommitted-ish.

00:32:27.000 Is that about right?

00:32:28.000 There's about five people that are...

00:32:31.000 I'll say there's five people that are very skeptical, but they haven't sat down and talked to her yet.

00:32:40.000 I believe once they sat down and talked to her, that'll be different.

00:32:43.000 And I think Bobby probably has a little more than that, but not much.

00:32:49.000 And I think Bobby, when he sits down and talks to individuals too, that'll change.

00:32:54.000 And that's what I've been telling these individuals.

00:32:56.000 Obviously, I consider Bobby a friend, and Tulsi is as close to as my sister.

00:33:01.000 And so I'm very close to Tulsi.

00:33:04.000 Our families are very close.

00:33:06.000 And when I've talked to people about both of them, it's just a matter of saying, keep an open mind, sit down and talk to them.

00:33:13.000 And since we have good relationships, everybody's been very good about that.

00:33:18.000 There's not been anybody that's come out against Peter.

00:33:21.000 There hasn't been anybody that's come out against Tulsi.

00:33:23.000 And no one's come out against Bobby, but they're all holding their powder dry.

00:33:26.000 And I feel good where we're at.

00:33:29.000 I really do.

00:33:30.000 I feel positive on where we're going to move with these individuals being confirmed.

00:33:35.000 Well, look, I just, Senator, I also encourage everyone to listen to our Megyn Kelly interview from last week, where she really broke down the Pete Hegseth.

00:33:45.000 I think that was very important.

00:33:46.000 And she debunks a lot of that.

00:33:48.000 And I think it's really important because we can't allow another baseless narrative of the Brett Kavanaugh stuff to continue.

00:33:55.000 And so I think that's really important.

00:33:57.000 Senator, thank you so much.

00:33:59.000 Really appreciate it.

00:33:59.000 Talk to you soon.

00:34:01.000 All right.

00:34:01.000 Thanks, Charlie.

00:34:03.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
