00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody, welcome to this episode of the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:00:02.000 It's producer Andrew Colvett filling in for Charlie as he stumps all across the state of Ohio alongside senatorial candidate JD Vance, friend of the show, friend of America.
00:00:14.000 Get out and vote for him if you're listening in Ohio.
00:00:17.000 I am honored, as always, to be in the seat.
00:00:20.000 But guess what?
00:00:21.000 We have a little bit of Charlie in this hour, and that's just fantastic.
00:00:25.000 He calls in this hour seated alongside JD Vance and Senator Hawley.
00:00:29.000 They're touring around the state of Ohio, and we get an inside look.
00:00:33.000 Charlie calls in.
00:00:34.000 Then we cover the correspondence dinner, which was a total joke as they laugh as the country burns.
00:00:39.000 Biden thinks it's hilarious.
00:00:40.000 You're not going to want to miss it.
00:00:42.000 We play the tapes and we explain why it is very, very insightful.
00:00:46.000 We also explain just how bad things are going for President Biden.
00:00:50.000 Guys, this is an important episode.
00:00:52.000 Please, again, vote in Ohio.
00:00:55.000 It's an honor.
00:00:56.000 Buckle up.
00:00:57.000 Here we go.
00:00:58.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:01:00.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:01:02.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:01:05.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:09.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:10.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:11.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:19.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:28.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:31.000 Brought to you by Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage.
00:01:34.000 For personalized loan services, you can count on.

00:01:43.000 Hey, everybody, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:01:45.000 This is producer Andrew Colvett filling in for the one and only Charlie Kirk.
00:01:51.000 But I have a great surprise for you.
00:01:53.000 Even though he can't make the entire show today, we do have him on the line.
00:01:58.000 He is crisscrossing the state of Ohio right now with JD Vance.
00:02:03.000 So without further ado, we've got a lot of show to cover, but I wanted to bring Charlie Kirk himself in right here at the top of the hour.
00:02:09.000 Charlie, welcome to your own show.
00:02:12.000 I'm honored to be a guest on my own show.
00:02:15.000 And thank you, Andrew, for filling in.
00:02:16.000 Now, I wanted to call in just for a couple minutes here.
00:02:18.000 I'm actually on the road.
00:02:19.000 We're about to be in Dublin, Ohio.
00:02:21.000 I'm here with JD Vance and Senator Josh Hawley.
00:02:25.000 It's the last sprint before what is actually turning out to be one of the most expensive primary races in our country's history.
00:02:33.000 JD is the frontrunner here.
00:02:35.000 He got President Trump's endorsement.
00:02:37.000 And it's been really interesting, you know, barnstorming the state, kind of learning where the Republican Party is.
00:02:43.000 And this really is kind of a test of what kind of Republican Party do we want.
00:02:47.000 Do we want a kind of the same old kind of Bush and chainy Republican Party, or do we want to go in a direction of a party that will defend our manufacturing and put tariffs on China and restrict immigration?
00:02:59.000 And the people of Ohio are resonating with that message.
00:03:02.000 And so, you know, it's been a long slog.
00:03:04.000 It's been a pretty, you know, we could say contested primary, but JD is really pulling away.
00:03:10.000 And just for all of our Ohio listeners here, you know, I'm completely and totally enthusiastic, enthusiastically behind JD, and we need people to show up in big numbers tomorrow.
00:03:20.000 But, you know, it's been a really interesting thing just to see the amount of, you know, the amount of backlash that, you know, is being thrown at JD and how well he's weathering it.
00:03:31.000 I'll tell you, though, you know, Josh Hawley, Senator Hawley's been saying that there's a lot of people on edge.
00:03:36.000 There's a lot of nervous people in DC right now since JD has taken the lead.
00:03:40.000 And that should tell you everything you need to know about this race.
00:03:43.000 Yeah, I mean, I think you're absolutely right.
00:03:46.000 JD represents what we might refer to, Charlie, as the new right.
00:03:51.000 He is young.
00:03:52.000 He's 37.
00:03:53.000 He's got a background in tech, which has become actually a part of, you know, a part of the storyline here.
00:03:59.000 some of the reporters I've seen from the videos you've been sending to the team.
00:04:01.000 They're asking about his tech background, which I actually think is a massive plus.
00:04:06.000 But he is this new right, this new kind of candidate.
00:04:09.000 You say that you're hearing from the people on the ground their reaction to a candidate like JD.
00:04:14.000 And you're right, he's pulling ahead, which is phenomenal because of people like you, people like Senator Hawley, and of course, President Trump's endorsement.
00:04:22.000 But what is the reaction?
00:04:23.000 What are you hearing on the ground?
00:04:24.000 What are you learning being on the ground in Ohio?
00:04:28.000 Yeah, I mean, look, people are really upset about the direction of the country.
00:04:31.000 They're worried about inflation.
00:04:33.000 They're worried about open borders.
00:04:34.000 They're worried about tech oligarchy.
00:04:36.000 But, you know, you got to really give it to Ohio voters.
00:04:39.000 They're starting to see through the nonsense and they're realizing that there's only one candidate that's actually going to do something about this, right?
00:04:46.000 And here's the most important thing is that Republican primary voters have had this kind of angst and unease for many different cycles.
00:04:54.000 But it seems as if, you know, Republican establishments are really, they're really talented at kind of camouflaging themselves when it matters.
00:05:02.000 And then they go to D.C. and they just kind of become part of this kind of corporate oligarchy, you could call it.
00:05:08.000 And so Republican primary voters, got to get the rhinos out of our party.
00:05:13.000 They're enthusiastically applauding.
00:05:15.000 They know that.
00:05:15.000 They just, they, and thanks to President Trump's endorsement of JD, it's no mystery who the true conservative in this race is.
00:05:21.000 And look, you look at what's happening, you know, nationwide, you know, for our national audience.
00:05:26.000 A lot of people right now understand that the regime, as we call it on our program quite often, is of both parties.
00:05:33.000 And you look at the issues that they get most animated about.
00:05:36.000 It's not even, you know, the transgender issue, kind of they, they get a little upset about here and there, the pro-life thing.
00:05:41.000 But if you really want to see the Washington regime all of a sudden go into kind of a frenetic tailspin, start talking about having a prudent foreign policy, restricting immigration, and maybe putting some tariffs on China.
00:05:56.000 That more than anything else just gets them over the edge.
00:05:59.000 And those three issues in particular are the ones that actually the Republican base are demanding the most.
00:06:06.000 I talk about the muscular class, as you know, Andrew, a lot on our program here.
00:06:10.000 And that really is Ohio.
00:06:11.000 Ohio is the muscular class.
00:06:14.000 Ohio, our people are that shower before work and shower after work.
00:06:17.000 They make things at their hands.
00:06:18.000 It's not the managerial consultant class that has destroyed so many different aspects of our country.
00:06:24.000 And so that's really what kind of is on the referendum here.
00:06:27.000 Not to mention that JD is incredibly pro-life and against all the kind of transgender nonsense that we're seeing of the pushing of puberty blockers and all that garbage in our country.
00:06:38.000 So that's really something I think that's important.
00:06:41.000 That's why I'm here.
00:06:42.000 Look, as you know, Andrew, I got a lot of stuff going on.
00:06:44.000 I'm crisscrossing the country speaking somewhere every day.
00:06:47.000 You know, don't get enough time in Arizona as much as I would like, but I'm here for a reason because I think that if we're able to get JD Vance across the finish line, that's going to send a message to the Washington elite.
00:06:56.000 But all of a sudden, it's not just Josh Hawley or, you know, it's not just Rand Paul on Fauci, but all of a sudden, there's going to be a team.
00:07:03.000 There's going to be a team of people in the Senate that are going to be able to stand up against the establishment and both parties.
00:07:08.000 And I mean, just take one issue that I think, you know, has kind of just been swept under the rug.
00:07:12.000 How about the abuse of the federal agencies, right?
00:07:14.000 The CIA, the FBI, calling moms and dads that show up to the school board meetings, domestic terrorists, right?
00:07:22.000 We need senators that are actually going to go and cross-examine these people and hold them accountable.
00:07:28.000 Unfortunately, the Republican Party seems to be kind of holding their water, not holding them accountable.
00:07:32.000 And that's why I'm behind JD Vance.
00:07:34.000 Yeah, I mean, I completely agree.
00:07:36.000 This would be a shot across the bow.
00:07:38.000 This would be the shot heard around Washington and really around the world that there is a new era of conservative politics coming to Washington with fighters like JD Vance leading the charge, obviously with Senator Hawley and others, which is a far, it's a short list, Charlie, but this would be a massive, massive blow to the establishment.
00:07:57.000 Charlie, I want to give you one more opportunity just for our Ohio listeners specifically.
00:08:01.000 I know there has been a lot made of some of the comments that JD made, let's say, circa 2015, 2016, about President Trump.
00:08:11.000 This is still being used against him.
00:08:13.000 It's being weaponized.
00:08:14.000 Let's put this to bed once and for all.
00:08:16.000 Why are these comments being taken and weaponized?
00:08:19.000 Well, and this is for our national audience, too, which is, you know, they're going to try to these anti-Trump groups are going to try to all of a sudden be the referee of who's pro-Trump or not.
00:08:27.000 Like, I hate to, you know, pull the quote-unquote Trump card, but I have a lot more credibility than these anti-Trump groups to be able to tell you who's actually consistent with the Trump agenda.
00:08:37.000 And look, JD is very open about it on the campaign trail.
00:08:40.000 In fact, he leads with it.
00:08:42.000 That, you know, he said some negative things about Trump in 2016, but he's the first one to admit that he became Trump's biggest cheerleader.
00:08:48.000 And isn't that a story or a journey of strengthening and growth?
00:08:53.000 That's something that we should really appreciate and applaud when all of a sudden people are like, you know, I thought I didn't know that the New York billionaire was going to be the most pro-life president in history.
00:09:01.000 And so that's something I hope people really understand.
00:09:04.000 Unlike some of the other candidates in the race who kind of just continually camouflage and backstab and say one thing, you know, behind the back, I know JD very, I know, I know him personally.
00:09:13.000 I've got to know him.
00:09:14.000 I could tell you in public and private, whatever you name, whoever you want to say, he's 100% behind Donald Trump and his agenda.
00:09:21.000 And the media is trying to make something out of it where it really doesn't exist.
00:09:24.000 And that's exactly why President Trump endorsed him.
00:09:26.000 So, but that's, and that's just something as we close here, because I know the time breaks on this show very well.
00:09:32.000 Um, is that nationwide, you got to be very careful about people who call themselves America first when in reality, they're not.
00:09:40.000 IO, everyone has eyes on Ohio tomorrow.
00:09:43.000 Keep your eyes on it.
00:09:44.000 It's going to be, I think, a harbinger, a canary in the coal mine for this entire agenda for months and hopefully for years to come.
00:09:51.000 Yeah, you know, I think you're right, Charlie.
00:09:53.000 And I'm excited that it's voices like you that have gotten behind JD to really set the record straight.
00:10:00.000 And, you know, this will be a massive, massive blow to the establishment.
00:10:05.000 Like we said, I think JD is going to take it.
00:10:07.000 He's ahead in the polls.
00:10:08.000 He's surging right now.
00:10:09.000 All the other candidates look like they're losing ground.
00:10:13.000 So, Charlie, get back out there on the campaign trail.
00:10:15.000 I know you guys are busy today.
00:10:17.000 You're going to be back in the saddle tomorrow, but thank you for making time for your audience, this audience, while you guys are so busy on the road.
00:10:24.000 We appreciate it.
00:10:26.000 Thank you, Andrew.
00:10:27.000 See you later.
00:10:27.000 And hopefully, we'll be celebrating Senator JD Vance sometime soon.
00:10:31.000 Thanks, Andrew.
00:10:31.000 See you tomorrow.
00:10:32.000 All right.
00:10:35.000 For a couple of years now, people have been setting up a contest between crypto and gold, but that's like comparing a truck with an SUV.
00:10:41.000 Both carry stuff and travel from A to B, but they do different jobs.
00:10:44.000 Gold's job is to keep the value of your money safe and preserve its value.
00:10:47.000 And since Ukraine, the oil, and the inflation crisis has done a brilliant job compared to stocks and other investments.
00:10:53.000 So if you're worried about what's going on right now, who isn't?

00:11:17.000 That's noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:11:23.000 So I want to, I believe we actually have this ad, you know, and we'll leave it here.
00:11:28.000 Let's go ahead and play clip 10.
00:11:30.000 This is a campaign ad that was actually shared on Twitter by Don Jr. first, which is where I saw it, attacking probably JD Vance's closest competitor, Mandel.
00:11:44.000 The elites were right about Donald Trump, right?
00:11:46.000 I'm a never-Trump guy.
00:11:48.000 Has Trump seen this?
00:11:49.000 President Trump tweeting a surprise endorsement of Mitt Romney for his run.
00:11:54.000 How'd that turn out?
00:11:55.000 Look, I love Trump, but he's getting it wrong with JD Vance, too.
00:11:58.000 I might have to vote for Hillary Clinton.
00:12:00.000 People who voted for Trump voted for him for racist reasons.
00:12:04.000 Where does he get off saying that?
00:12:06.000 We've got our own eyes and our own ears.
00:12:08.000 JD Vance is a fraud.
00:12:11.000 Club for Growth Action is responsible for the content of this.
00:12:14.000 All right.
00:12:14.000 So that was actually the other way around.
00:12:16.000 That was the Club for Growth ad attacking JD Vance.
00:12:20.000 Thankfully, this has been put to bed.
00:12:22.000 All right.
00:12:22.000 So this was the JD Vance says bad things about Trump in 2015, 2016.
00:12:27.000 Therefore, he is a fraud.
00:12:29.000 This is not true.
00:12:31.000 This is a common journey that many conservatives went on in the past year, I think, and past four years.
00:12:38.000 I think we can all agree that Trump was a lot for many conservatives to take in at first, especially Christian Wright, the evangelical community.
00:12:48.000 Trump was a lot.
00:12:49.000 Now, you'll hear this argument made all the time that Trump is a tough person for conservatives, especially social conservatives, to adjust to, right?
00:12:59.000 Three times divorced, a record of cheating on his wife.
00:13:04.000 All of this has been deliberated.
00:13:07.000 It's been argued ad nauseum.
00:13:10.000 There's nothing more to really add to this debate.
00:13:13.000 Now, do you want somebody that's going to, in the highest office in your land, do you want somebody that's going to defend your values, is going to put forward policies that reflect your Christian values, that reflect your conservative values, and is an imperfect vessel for those ideas?
00:13:31.000 Or do you want somebody that's going to go to Washington and completely collapse, is going to completely fold over underneath the weight of all of that pressure?
00:13:41.000 Now, because everybody has a lot of pressure.
00:13:43.000 So what you actually need is somebody that's willing to fight on your behalf.
00:13:47.000 When you go to Washington, one of the biggest, one of the biggest pushbacks, one of the biggest letdowns of conservatives over the last 15, 20 years is that they go to Washington and they completely fold.
00:14:00.000 Trump was the first that fought.
00:14:03.000 And as he put together a resume in Washington, it became very clear to people like JD Vance, people like many of you listening in the audience today, that Donald Trump was going to fight for them.
00:14:16.000 And as a matter of fact, he might have been the first one in a generation to do so.
00:14:20.000 And that took courage, that took boldness, and it converted many along the way.
00:14:26.000 So, once again, everybody support JD Vance.
00:14:31.000 I think we actually have that clip now, if I'm not mistaken.
00:14:34.000 Maybe we don't have it in yet.
00:14:36.000 I'm not sure.
00:14:37.000 But we'll get over it.
00:14:38.000 But basically, here's the deal.
00:14:41.000 This was an attack ad shared by Don Jr., and it basically shows Josh Mandel endorsing Mitt Romney, time and time again standing with McCain.
00:14:54.000 This is, in my opinion, this is damning.
00:14:57.000 Because what's really on the ballot in the state of Ohio is establishment.
00:15:05.000 It is betrayal versus the new right, the fighting right, the right that's going to defend the values of the middle class, the working class, patriotic Americans that have been for too long ignored and cast aside once they get to Washington, once their representatives get to Washington.
00:15:22.000 So I want you to listen to this or watch this if you're checking it out on the stream and really pay attention.
00:15:28.000 I think this is exactly what we're trying to avoid in the future of the conservative movement.
00:15:34.000 Go ahead and play CUP 14.
00:15:35.000 And one of the things that's setting me apart right now is how strongly anti-establishment I am.
00:15:41.000 Taking on the squishy establishment Republicans, Mitt Romney and others.
00:15:46.000 I appreciate what Governor Romney stands for.
00:15:50.000 By the way, I need Josh Mandel in the Senate to make that happen.
00:15:56.000 Very much for Josh Mandel for the United States Senate.
00:15:59.000 I think that Josh is the kind of leadership, the next generation of leadership that we need very badly.
00:16:05.000 How strongly anti-establishment I am.
00:16:09.000 A gentleman who is an outstanding United States Senator for the state of Ohio and is the new Attorney General, Mike DeWine.
00:16:16.000 You know, Josh is much better than I am, so I would not say his message is that he is a centrist.
00:16:22.000 But if President Obama is re-elected, I will work with him.
00:16:26.000 I'm excited that he's running for the U.S. Senate.
00:16:28.000 And one of the things that's setting me apart right now is how strongly anti-establishment I am.
00:16:38.000 Yeah, so I think that video pretty much sums it up.
00:16:42.000 DeWine, Mitt Romney, McCain.
00:16:46.000 It was, it's the guy has a track record of basically saying whatever he needs to say to appease whoever he's in front of.
00:16:56.000 But we've said enough.
00:16:58.000 Ohio, you know what to do.
00:17:00.000 Let's move on to the correspondence dinner.
00:17:03.000 So this is essentially DC's Hollywood night.
00:17:10.000 This is their chance to put on the Ritzy dresses.
00:17:13.000 This is their chance to put on their tuxedos, go have a nice night, drink way too much alcohol, laugh at each other, even as the country's burning.
00:17:21.000 It's actually really disgusting when you really think about it.
00:17:25.000 I was speaking with a couple reporter friends of mine during the weekend saying, are you at the dinner?
00:17:32.000 A couple of them were, a couple of them weren't.
00:17:34.000 The ones that weren't tend to be more of my kind of people, my kind of reporters.
00:17:39.000 And they said, listen, we can't afford the tables at this event.
00:17:43.000 The price tag is astronomical.
00:17:45.000 So what they do is they have it, I think at the Washington Hilton, they charge an arm and a leg.
00:17:51.000 Everybody shows up.
00:17:52.000 And it was the first time in six years where the President of the United States actually showed up.
00:17:56.000 As you might remember, President Trump basically boycotted the event because he was treated as a pariah by the mainstream news media and the legacy media.
00:18:05.000 And finally, Joe Biden came back.
00:18:09.000 And he didn't avoid all the roasting, I will say.
00:18:13.000 So the comedian was Trevor Noah.
00:18:16.000 He had some good lines.
00:18:18.000 He had some awkward lines.
00:18:19.000 He had some lines that are going to make you cringe.
00:18:21.000 I sent it around to a bunch of friends.
00:18:22.000 We were talking back and forth.
00:18:24.000 The basic gist of it is this.
00:18:26.000 I don't want to like it.
00:18:28.000 I don't want to find this funny.
00:18:30.000 But there were some good lines.
00:18:32.000 So, in interest of sharing some of the best stuff, let's play some.
00:18:36.000 Let's play cut five.
00:18:37.000 This is Biden laughing at his own failures.
00:18:40.000 Cut five.
00:18:40.000 I think ever since you've come into office, things are really looking up.
00:18:43.000 You know, gas is up, rent is up, food is up.
00:18:47.000 Everything.
00:18:48.000 No, it really has been a tough first year for you, Mr. President.
00:18:53.000 It's really been a tough first year for you, Mr. President.
00:18:56.000 And meanwhile, if you were watching on the stream, you got to see Biden just laughing at himself.
00:19:01.000 It's hilarious.
00:19:02.000 Oh, food prices are up.
00:19:04.000 This is so funny.
00:19:06.000 Let's play cut six.
00:19:07.000 Trevor Noah jokes about getting COVID for the 20th time.
00:19:10.000 Glad you could make it tonight.
00:19:12.000 Really glad you could make it tonight, Jen.
00:19:14.000 It's nice that you're willing to come over here and risk getting COVID for like, what, the 10th time now?
00:19:19.000 Let me ask, how do you keep getting COVID, Jen?
00:19:22.000 Like, your boss hooked us all up with free tests.
00:19:24.000 Does he not have your address?
00:19:25.000 What's going on there?
00:19:28.000 Again, gold sequin dress laughing hysterically at getting COVID for the 10th time.
00:19:36.000 I said 20th, nevertheless.
00:19:38.000 Laughing at this quadruple boosted crowd consistently getting COVID over and over and over again.
00:19:48.000 Now, this one actually was a lot of, oh, this was pretty funny.
00:19:51.000 Cut seven, I think, gets to the heart of the dilemma.
00:19:54.000 There was a new poll that just came out, I believe it was last week, that exposes that 44% of registered Democrats do not want Biden to run.
00:20:07.000 That is a, actually, it's 44% are in favor of Joe Biden running.
00:20:12.000 Sorry, I got that reversed.
00:20:13.000 Which means that a majority either don't know or unsure or don't want him to run at all.
00:20:18.000 They want a new horse in the race.
00:20:20.000 So let's play cut seven.
00:20:21.000 I think this puts us in a good place of really understanding where the jokes are at and watch Biden's reaction.
00:20:30.000 You're battling conspiracy theories that the election was stolen by George Soros, that JFK Jr. is still alive, that everyone in this room is a secret pedophile.
00:20:40.000 And that's just what Clarence Thomas's wife believes.
00:20:42.000 It's insane, people.
00:20:44.000 This is truly the golden era of conspiracy theories.
00:20:47.000 Whether it's the right wing believing Trump can still win the 2020 election, or the left believing Joe Biden can still win the 2024 election.
00:20:58.000 Look at him just laughing hysterically.
00:21:01.000 It's so funny.
00:21:04.000 But that's really true.
00:21:05.000 I mean, nobody in that room thinks that Joe Biden has a shot and you know what, to win in 2024.
00:21:13.000 He's sitting there hilarious.
00:21:14.000 It's hilarious.
00:21:15.000 Inflation's up.
00:21:16.000 The world's burning.
00:21:17.000 I'm not going to win in 2024.
00:21:19.000 This is hilarious.
00:21:20.000 Let's laugh at my own misery, my own failures.
00:21:23.000 But that's what you do at the Correspondent's Center.
00:21:27.000 And the reason that room went just started laughing hysterically is because they know how true it is.
00:21:34.000 They know that Joe Biden is basically a failed president.
00:21:38.000 They know that he's got very little chance to win again in 2024.
00:21:43.000 He's going to be like 81, 82.
00:21:47.000 I think he'd be 82 when he actually got inaugurated the second time.
00:21:52.000 So just to consider that.
00:21:54.000 I mean, not only is he falling apart, not only is the country falling apart, not only do Democrats themselves not want him as their president, but he's forced to sit at a table and laugh about it, which is really sick, actually.
00:22:07.000 If you actually think about just how sick that is.
00:22:10.000 Now, I want to go into Trevor Noah's attack on Fox News.
00:22:16.000 Again, I don't love Trevor Noah.
00:22:18.000 I think he is mostly awful.
00:22:20.000 I think every so often he makes me laugh.
00:22:22.000 I think this whole DC meets Hollywood glitz and glamour is really untoward.
00:22:30.000 I think it's really despicable on many levels, but it's very revealing.
00:22:36.000 We have to consider what this tells us about the nation, about the Democrat Party specifically, about our corrupt media establishment.
00:22:45.000 So he keys in on two things that I really want to focus on.
00:22:48.000 And that was Fox.
00:22:50.000 He really attacked Fox News.
00:22:53.000 And he says something.
00:22:54.000 He says, and I don't know if this is part of the clip that we have, but he talks about how the whole room goes tense as soon as he brings up Fox News.
00:23:04.000 And then he also talks about Trump v. DeSantis, which is something that we've been covering on this show.
00:23:09.000 Charlie's been polling everybody.
00:23:10.000 And again, please keep sending your emails in.
00:23:13.000 Do you prefer Trump or DeSantis 2024?
00:23:16.000 Freedom at Charlie Kirk.
00:23:17.000 Email your answers.
00:23:18.000 Charlie looks at all of them.
00:23:19.000 Trump or DeSantis 2024.
00:23:22.000 So Trevor Noah keys in on both of these, but let's start with the Fox clip.
00:23:26.000 This is cut eight.
00:23:28.000 Trevor Noah goes after Fox News.
00:23:31.000 I like that.
00:23:32.000 I'm really excited because the Kings of Cable are here.
00:23:35.000 Fox News in the house.
00:23:36.000 Yeah?
00:23:36.000 The top-rated news network for the past, what, 300 years?
00:23:39.000 Chilling it.
00:23:40.000 And I know Fox has a bad reputation.
00:23:43.000 I even feel you tense up now when I talk about them.
00:23:45.000 They really do crush it.
00:23:47.000 You know, I think they get a bad rap because it's a mixed bag.
00:23:50.000 You know, they actually have really good journals.
00:23:52.000 It just depends on when you watch.
00:23:55.000 All right, Fox News is sort of like a waffle house.
00:23:58.000 Yeah, it's relatively normal in the afternoon, but as soon as the sun goes down, there's a drunk lady named Janine threatening to fight every Mexican who comes in.
00:24:07.000 You can throw me out.
00:24:09.000 I know the real president.
00:24:13.000 So they're attacking Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingram.
00:24:19.000 They're attacking really the opinions that a lot of you hold in this audience, which we oftentimes on this show, the Charlie Kirk show, hold.
00:24:28.000 But that's the point.
00:24:29.000 They despise you.
00:24:30.000 And it's really important that you never let go of that true fact.
00:24:33.000 That is a truth.
00:24:34.000 That is a fact.
00:24:35.000 They despise you.
00:24:37.000 They think that everything that you believe is deplorable.
00:24:41.000 And that's what the correspondence dinner is all about.
00:24:44.000 It's revealing just how much contempt the ruling class has for you.
00:24:47.000 So one more clip from this, and then we're going to move on.
00:24:50.000 I don't even want to play Biden's clips.
00:24:55.000 He called Trump a contagion or something like a pandemic himself.
00:25:01.000 Whatever.
00:25:02.000 I don't even care.
00:25:03.000 Let's play one more clip.
00:25:04.000 And this is the Trump V DeSantis back and forth because I actually think he zeroes in on a piece of truth that's important for us all to get.
00:25:11.000 So let's go ahead.
00:25:12.000 I think that's cut that would be cut nine.
00:25:18.000 But Ron.
00:25:21.000 Ron is playing it coy, man.
00:25:23.000 He won't even tell people if he got the booster.
00:25:26.000 Yeah.
00:25:26.000 Or as they say in Florida, don't ask, don't tell.
00:25:29.000 Am I right?
00:25:30.000 I'll see you, Ron.
00:25:32.000 You see, what I like about Ron DeSantis is like, if Trump was the original Terminator, DeSantis is like the T-1000.
00:25:38.000 You know, you're smarter than him.
00:25:40.000 You're slicker than him.
00:25:41.000 You can walk down ramps.
00:25:43.000 Yeah.
00:25:44.000 Because you see, no, Trump said he won the election, but everyone was just able to look at the numbers and see that he was wrong.
00:25:51.000 That's why Ron DeSantis is one step ahead.
00:25:53.000 First, you ban the math textbooks, then nobody knows how to count the votes.
00:25:57.000 Boom!
00:25:58.000 My man!
00:25:59.000 Ha ha ha!
00:26:02.000 So obviously, that's really disingenuous about the math textbooks.
00:26:06.000 DeSantis and his team bravely and courageously banned math textbooks that had been corrupted with CRT.
00:26:13.000 What CRT has to do with anything, with math, I'm not at all sure.
00:26:18.000 Neither was Ron DeSantis.
00:26:19.000 So he rightly got rid of him.
00:26:22.000 Now, people are saying that that's anti-free speech, by the way.
00:26:24.000 That's not.
00:26:25.000 Students are not willing participants in speech.
00:26:29.000 Teachers are agents of the state.
00:26:31.000 Therefore, students are compelled listeners.
00:26:33.000 When you have a compelled listener, those decisions are rightly kept and made by those closest to the people, their state representatives.
00:26:44.000 Dinesh D'Souza has a real special movie coming out, everybody.
00:26:47.000 In 2020, November 2020, Democrats were up to no good.
00:26:52.000 They were planning to pull off one of the greatest schemes of election fraud never seen before, but they didn't think we would catch them.
00:26:58.000 But we did.
00:26:59.000 Find out what they did and how they did it in a new documentary film called 2000 Mules, directed and narrated by renowned filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza, an executive produced by the Salem Media Group, with research from truthevote.org.
00:27:13.000 2000 Mules is going to be a game changer.
00:27:15.000 2000 Mules tells the story of the ones who tried to hijack a presidential election.
00:27:20.000 You'll see actual video surveillance tape.
00:27:22.000 You'll see how we track their cell phones to box after box after they got paid to carry out this illegal scheme.
00:27:28.000 Watch the trailer for yourself.
00:27:29.000 It's 2000mules.com and check your local listings and get your tickets today at 2000mules.com.
00:27:36.000 And the premiere will be on May 2nd or May 4th.
00:27:40.000 That's a limited release premiere.
00:27:42.000 So go to 2000mules.com.
00:27:44.000 That is 2000mules.com.
00:27:46.000 I'm in the movie.
00:27:47.000 It is a game changer.
00:27:48.000 Check it out right now: 2000mules.com.
00:27:51.000 That is 2000mules.com.
00:27:56.000 I want to dial in a little bit closer on this Biden laughing at his own jokes.
00:28:03.000 So I noticed this piece from CNN.
00:28:05.000 The political environment is terrible for Democrats and it may get worse.
00:28:09.000 This is from Stephen Collinson at CNN.
00:28:12.000 I don't do, I'm not, I'm not in the habit of promoting CNN, but when CNN is this hard, this ruthless in a piece against a sitting president that happens to be a Democrat, you take notice.
00:28:27.000 And the piece has this picture, a smiling picture of Joe Biden at the correspondence dinner, Washington's Hollywood night.
00:28:35.000 It's just a disgusting display of anti-just anti-working class, anti-regular folk, the most corrupt media cabals, all buying expensive tables, laughing at their own failures and misery as the country burns.
00:28:50.000 It's a disgusting display.
00:28:51.000 Nevertheless, it starts out with this: Joe Biden's term has become a punchline, even to the president.
00:28:59.000 Biden might have been a good sport in poking fun at himself, his dented approval ratings and his failure to fully enact his domestic agenda at the White House Correspondents Association annual gala Saturday night.
00:29:12.000 But his jokes were rooted in the painful reality of a presidency hostage to economic and global forces.
00:29:19.000 Oh, but this is a hilarious line, beyond his control, and compounded by some of the tactical errors of his White House.
00:29:25.000 Let's stop right there.
00:29:27.000 Okay, so this is CNN, right?
00:29:28.000 You can't get away from their editor notes.
00:29:31.000 You know, you can imagine that the first version of this were, you know, a president that is guilty of economic and foreign diplomacy missteps, compounded by some tactical errors.
00:29:42.000 And the editor comes in, he goes, no, a presidency held hostage.
00:29:48.000 It's not his fault to economic and global forces.
00:29:51.000 And so this is what gets published.
00:29:53.000 Folks, I've got news for the Democrats.
00:29:56.000 It is not a president held hostage.
00:29:59.000 It's a president that has bad policies, that is held hostage by anything by the far left, that is furthering him along some really bad policy agenda items, including the newest forgiving student loan debt, which economists believe will only make inflation worse.
00:30:17.000 So that's something that we're going to cover in an hour or two.
00:30:20.000 Nevertheless, his policies are what are holding the American people hostage.
00:30:25.000 We must never let them get away with these little weird sleight of hands that they do in these articles.
00:30:30.000 But let's continue.
00:30:31.000 It's possible that high gas prices, the worst inflation in 40 years, and a war in Ukraine and a persistent pandemic could all ease by November.
00:30:38.000 I don't think so.
00:30:39.000 But the trajectory of those crises and the impact they exert on issues that matter to and can hurt Americans, like the price of groceries, could also get worse.
00:30:52.000 What he says later is that all of this explains a sense of inevitability settling into Washington's conventional wisdom that Republicans are strongly favored to retake the House of Representatives while the Senate could go red too.
00:31:07.000 Now, check this out.
00:31:08.000 Some economists are suggesting that inflation on its worst tear since the 1980s has peaked, but a key index watched by the Federal Reserve, the Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index, was up 6.6% for the year ended in March, according to figures released last week.
00:31:25.000 Energy prices also spiked, and food was up 9.2% over the same period.
00:31:31.000 Meanwhile, we're seeing reports of food processing plants over the weekend.
00:31:36.000 Another fire happened on the East Coast.
00:31:39.000 We've covered this on the show.
00:31:41.000 There is a spate of these going on all over the country.
00:31:44.000 What exactly is going on?
00:31:46.000 We're not sure, but this isn't usual.
00:31:48.000 This isn't normal.
00:31:49.000 This isn't a usual thing that happens in our country.
00:31:52.000 Folks, inflation is actually much higher than the government is telling you because they changed the way they calculate the figure.
00:32:01.000 Let me say that again.
00:32:02.000 Inflation is much higher than they're telling you because they changed the way they calculated the figure in the 1980s.
00:32:08.000 So they say it's the worst since the 1980s.
00:32:11.000 It's actually much higher.
00:32:11.000 It's actually much worse than it was in the 1980s.
00:32:15.000 We're going to have to raise rates to counter this, which is going to trigger a recession.
00:32:19.000 Charlie covered that sadly on Friday.
00:32:22.000 Nevertheless, that's the truth.
00:32:23.000 Folks, Joe Biden is against the ropes.
00:32:26.000 The Democrat Party is realizing it.
00:32:28.000 And the media establishment is there to laugh as the country burns and as their own hopes for the future burn.
00:32:33.000 Thanks, everybody, for tuning in.
00:32:34.000 If you like what you hear here, if you like what you hear on the Charlie Kirk show, whether it's me hosting, whether it's Charlie, please support the effort, support the team.

00:32:53.000 Oh, and of course, like I've said eight times, go out and vote in Ohio if you live in Ohio.
00:32:57.000 It's important.
00:32:58.000 The new right is fighting back, and it starts with guys like JD Vance.
00:33:02.000 Thanks so much.
00:33:03.000 We'll talk to you soon.
