00:02:00.000 Hey, everybody, welcome to this episode of the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:02:02.000 I am joined by Vernon Jones, who spoke at the Republican National Convention.
00:02:06.000 We both spoke together on the opening night.
00:02:09.000 Vernon Jones is a former Democrat or is a Democrat.
00:02:13.000 I want to have him say it for himself.
00:02:15.000 Vernon, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:02:17.000 Tell us your story and tell us why you support President Trump.
00:02:20.000 Well, thank you so much, Charlie.
00:02:21.000 I am a lifelong Democrat.
00:02:23.000 I am black, but I'm also out of touch with the Democratic Party, meaning I didn't leave them.
00:02:29.000 They left me.
00:02:31.000 The things that they embrace now, such as no bores, turning their back on law enforcement, how the Democratic Party has treated African Americans.
00:02:41.000 Although we've been a captive audience to them for the past 30, 45 years, they haven't done anything to produce.
00:02:47.000 When I look at President Donald Trump, he has a track record of getting things done.
00:02:50.000 He's about results.
00:02:52.000 And certainly, not only has he lifted this entire country, but he has a track record.
00:02:56.000 He's done more to help the African-American community than any president probably going back to Richie Nixon.
00:03:01.000 Can you talk more about that?
00:03:02.000 Because that is not the conventional perspective of the mainstream activist press.
00:03:07.000 They say that President Trump is an enemy of black people.
00:03:11.000 Can you just walk us through that, especially for some of our listeners and viewers that don't always hear the perspective that you have?
00:03:18.000 Well, the liberal media is part of what I call the slave masters.
00:03:24.000 They're the ones who literally plant, I would say, those agent provocateurs to attack independent thinking black men like me and women from coming off the plantation.
00:03:37.000 Why?
00:03:37.000 Because they don't want us to be able to think independently.
00:03:39.000 And I think that was clearly demonstrated in a couple of more recent examples.
00:03:43.000 One, Joe Biden talking about if you don't vote for him, you ain't black.
00:03:47.000 Two, when he said that black people's thinking are not as diverse as Latinos.
00:03:52.000 And then more recently, again, with the liberal media, MSNBC, when you saw me doing an interview with Craig Melvin, because I was telling him why I support this president based on his policies and based on his positions and what he's done directly for the African-American community, he didn't want to hear that.
00:04:10.000 What he wanted to hear was what he asked me was, and that was what he asked me.
00:04:14.000 I'm sure someone whispered in his ear, but he said, are you being paid by the Trump organization?
00:04:20.000 That was bigoted in itself.
00:04:22.000 That shows that liberals at that station are upset because I didn't fit their narrative.
00:04:26.000 I didn't care their water.
00:04:28.000 I didn't attack Donald Trump.
00:04:30.000 Ironically, it was a reporter that was being paid, and that station is being paid to attack Donald Trump and not let African Americans feel that they have people who feel and express the way themselves the way I do come on their show without being attacked and run back into a hole.
00:04:47.000 But they didn't know I'm not like Joe Biden.
00:04:49.000 I'm not one of those, what you call those things that come out every year trying to determine what the weather's going to be like.
00:04:57.000 A groundhog.
00:04:58.000 Yeah, I'm not a groundhog.
00:05:00.000 They weren't going to run me back in.
00:05:01.000 And this president is not a groundhog.
00:05:04.000 He is really working to earn the black vote, and they can't scare him off like they traditionally scare off Republican candidates.
00:05:11.000 So can you walk us through more of kind of, did you support President Trump in 2016?
00:05:16.000 What was your view of him in 2016?
00:05:18.000 And what specifically has moved you to be a Trump supporter now in 2020, speaking at the convention?
00:05:24.000 Well, when I saw him come down to escalator, like many others with Mrs. Trump and heard what he had to say, I said, you know what, this man is talking my kind of talk.
00:05:34.000 And it's kind of interesting.
00:05:36.000 I think maybe 76 plus songs were made, rap songs too, that featured Donald Trump.
00:05:44.000 Donald Trump had an amazing relationship with African Americans, from Jesse Jackson to Al Shapton to Jay-Z and all the others, including Herschel Walker.
00:05:53.000 And he wasn't a racist then.
00:05:54.000 He wasn't a bigot then, or else they would not have been hanging out with him.
00:05:57.000 As a matter of fact, Jesse Jackson gave the president award from Operation Push.
00:06:02.000 So I like what he had to say.
00:06:05.000 And when he started to run, I said, this guy has what it takes to become president, but nobody paid me any attention.
00:06:11.000 Like the media, they laughed at him and they didn't think that he can get elected.
00:06:15.000 But he was saying exactly what people were feeling, but were afraid to say it because of what the liberal media and others will do to you.
00:06:22.000 And so when he got elected, I was on board, already on board.
00:06:26.000 And my friend said, well, Vernie, you did say we were going to get election.
00:06:29.000 Sure, I did he was going to get elected because that's what the American people were feeling.
00:06:32.000 And he had a whole new different idea of how to be president.
00:06:37.000 He didn't do it the traditional way.
00:06:39.000 We're always looking for, oh, this person is not presidential.
00:06:42.000 I don't care about being presidential, not being presidential.
00:06:45.000 What I care about is results.
00:06:47.000 And Donald Trump stood up to foreign countries and brought them to the table so they could pay their fair share.
00:06:51.000 We have now real fair trade agreements.
00:06:55.000 What he's done for this country prior to the pandemic, record number of jobs, and certainly in the black community, small businesses and others.
00:07:02.000 I will give the credit to Obama and the mixed Congress tenure.
00:07:06.000 They did stop the bleeding with the economy.
00:07:09.000 But when Donald Trump came on board, understanding business, understanding Wall Street and trade, he set this economy on steroids.
00:07:17.000 That's why we're still seeing, even in this pandemic, gains in the stock market and record gains in many other places.
00:07:25.000 So this president is on target and he supports law enforcement.
00:07:29.000 That's important.
00:07:31.000 So can you speak a little bit about what you are seeing in the black community?
00:07:35.000 Do you see that more and more black people are supporting President Trump than in 2016?
00:07:40.000 And I want to dive deeper into that.
00:07:41.000 But that's my first question.
00:07:42.000 Do you think that the support for President Trump is greater today than it was in 2016?
00:07:47.000 Well, clearly I do.
00:07:48.000 I think the support among white people is greater.
00:07:50.000 I'm not only just in a black community, I'm in the white community.
00:07:53.000 The problem is, whites don't want to say that they support Donald Trump because they don't want to be called racist, and blacks don't want to say they support Donald Trump because they don't want to be called a sellout.
00:08:02.000 But both of them are there.
00:08:03.000 That solid majority is there, and they're going to do what they did in 2016, and they're going to re-elect this president.
00:08:08.000 I hear it all the time.
00:08:09.000 As a matter of fact, even after my switch last night, my speech last night, my phone and all my social media has been blowing up.
00:08:17.000 And many of them said, Bernie, you know, I may not agree with you on some things, but you know, I couldn't disagree.
00:08:25.000 What you said last night was true about the Democratic Party.
00:08:27.000 And now that I thought about it, what you said is true about what Donald Trump has done.
00:08:31.000 I'm going to rethink my vote.
00:08:32.000 And some just said, I've never voted Republican at all.
00:08:35.000 They're going to vote for him.
00:08:37.000 So that's the good thing, Charlie, as you know, about that Republican convention.
00:08:41.000 All the networks had to carry it.
00:08:43.000 So those traditional liberal networks that's always anti-Donald Trump, they got a chance to hear and see from people across this country in all sectors, from first responders to business people to people like me, what this president is really about.
00:08:58.000 From tight muscles, tough workouts, signs of aging, to simply make it through each and every busy day, everyone understands what it feels like to be tense and sore.
00:09:07.000 No one likes that.
00:09:08.000 So everyone can benefit from Thera One's CBD products.

00:09:59.000 Go right now to TheraGun.com/slash Kirk.
00:10:04.000 So you said something.
00:10:06.000 I want to make sure I get this correct.
00:10:08.000 You said this.
00:10:09.000 The Democratic Party does not want black people to leave the mental plantation they have had us on for decades.
00:10:14.000 And he said, when Trump sought the African American vote, the Democrat Party leaders went crazy.
00:10:20.000 I'm quoting you here.
00:10:21.000 Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer literally started wearing Kenti cloth scarves around the Capitol.
00:10:25.000 Can you talk more about this?
00:10:26.000 It was one of my favorite lines the entire evening.
00:10:29.000 Well, actually, Chuck Schumer actually, I think, wore a dashiki.
00:10:34.000 The point of it is they panicked because no other candidate, presidential candidate, and I will say this: both Democrat and Republican has worked as hard to earn the black vote running for office as President Donald Trump.
00:10:49.000 No other, going back to probably John Kennedy.
00:10:53.000 And that's because President Trump knows black people.
00:10:56.000 President Trump has worked with black people.
00:10:58.000 He's hired black people.
00:10:59.000 He's had them on his apprenticeship.
00:11:01.000 He's contributed to black presidential candidates, elections.
00:11:06.000 And so this president is not foreign to black people.
00:11:09.000 And the Democrats always had that captive audience.
00:11:13.000 They can always have someone to scare a Republican candidate away if they even give the impression or gave the impression they wanted to try to earn the black vote.
00:11:22.000 And they got afraid and they would get afraid and run away.
00:11:25.000 But President Trump, they cannot run him away.
00:11:29.000 That kind of goes back to him being a non-traditional candidate and a non-politician.
00:11:34.000 President Trump is competitive.
00:11:36.000 He'll go where his weakness is and beat you where your weakness is.
00:11:41.000 And he did that.
00:11:42.000 He showed that when he beat all those elected officials, governors, congressmen, and the senators, because he's competitive in nature.
00:11:50.000 And that's why the world leaders are afraid of Donald Trump, because Donald Trump can checkmate them and he's beating them at their own game.
00:11:57.000 And so I'm not at all dissuade because the Democratic Party's panic.
00:12:04.000 I recognize that, hell, they're panicking because of me, because normally they would beat up a black or beat up a Democrat that came out for Republican, only though, if they're black.
00:12:16.000 If they're white, they're given a free ride.
00:12:19.000 Zell Miller not only supported George Bush for reelection, but Zell Miller spoke at the Republican convention.
00:12:26.000 No Democrat said a damn thing about it.
00:12:28.000 We've had conservative congressmen from Georgia, Democrats, voted against almost everything Obama put on the table, but the Democratic Party would give them a pass.
00:12:36.000 But when a black independent thinking man or woman does that, the bigotry comes out there.
00:12:41.000 Oh, you're too big for your britches.
00:12:43.000 You're supposed to take our lead.
00:12:45.000 We don't think for you.
00:12:46.000 As a matter of fact, even the Democratic Senatorial Committee, when I ran for U.S. Senate, they don't go out and support and recruit African-American candidates.
00:12:54.000 They want whites.
00:12:56.000 That's in the Democratic Party.
00:12:58.000 Wow.
00:12:59.000 So do you think the Democrat Party is the party of racism?
00:13:03.000 I think it's a large part of bigotry.
00:13:06.000 I think because traditionally they just relied on the black votes to elevate them and to get them elected.
00:13:13.000 And they want to be like most liberals in charge of black people, that maternal and paternalistic instinct.
00:13:19.000 Let us tell you what you want.
00:13:20.000 Matter of fact, we'll build you a habitat house, but not in our neighborhoods.
00:13:24.000 And so they just long traditionally been that way.
00:13:27.000 But there's a crack in that wall and it's bleeding, it's bleeding bad, and it's no stopping now.
00:13:32.000 Black votes have been locked up for years by the Democratic Party.
00:13:36.000 That's why I was saying, too, when I saw Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, when I saw that image, I didn't see a bouquet.
00:13:43.000 I saw Cactus and Kutzu.
00:13:45.000 One was evasive and the other one susolant, not necessarily in that order.
00:13:50.000 I don't know.
00:13:51.000 One, Kamala Harris was locked them up and Joe Biden was locking them down.
00:13:55.000 That's what they were doing to the black vote, locking them up and locking them down.
00:13:59.000 But now, Charlie, you're seeing they're afraid, man.
00:14:04.000 They are afraid.
00:14:05.000 And more and more of us are coming out.
00:14:08.000 Senator Tom, Senator Scott, oh, amazing United States Senator.
00:14:14.000 How is it the Democratic Party?
00:14:15.000 We've been black's been supporting them for 60, 70, 60 years, let's say, only two black senators.
00:14:22.000 And they've been getting 85, no, actually, 90 to 95% really of the black vote.
00:14:27.000 The Republican Party, they've been getting about 8%, but they have a Black United States Senator.
00:14:33.000 Isn't that interesting?
00:14:34.000 Isn't that interesting?
00:14:36.000 You remember Chuck Schuman did not want the senator that the Black Senator Singletary, I think his last name, maybe I'm wrong.
00:14:44.000 The Black senator that was coming from Illinois to replace Obama that was appointed.
00:14:50.000 Yes.
00:14:51.000 Harry Reid fought to try to keep him from being sworn in.
00:14:54.000 As if the governor, he didn't want the governor to appoint a black.
00:14:58.000 Same thing happened in New York when Hillary got her seat, actually, or the person after Hillary.
00:15:05.000 It was a black, I think he was the speaker pro tem, I mean the lieutenant governor, actually became governor.
00:15:12.000 And the blind gem, the blind legislator, he wanted to be United States Senator.
00:15:17.000 They're talking about it, but they didn't want him to appoint himself.
00:15:19.000 So, you know, the Democratic Party do not embrace African Americans where it's in a current where mostly it's almost all white.
00:15:29.000 If it's all white, they primarily want a white person.
00:15:31.000 Now, they'll support black people being an all-black district, running against blacks.
00:15:36.000 They have no problem doing it then.
00:15:37.000 So if you started to peel that wrapper back, Charlie, there's some interesting things.
00:15:42.000 I'll tell you one more that's going to probably knock you off your feet.
00:15:46.000 Why is it that the Democratic Party cannot select a presidential candidate or vice presidential candidate that have both parents that are black?
00:15:56.000 Wow.
00:15:57.000 Is there some grading going on?
00:15:59.000 You know that.
00:16:00.000 You know the Democrat Party better than I do.
00:16:02.000 So you just asked.
00:16:03.000 Well, but you know them too.
00:16:06.000 I do, Charlie.
00:16:06.000 You know them.
00:16:07.000 I mean, I consider the, I mean, I know the Democrats.
00:16:10.000 I fight them.
00:16:11.000 And the rulers of the Democrat Party, not necessarily the Democrat voters, they are some of the most racist people I've ever dealt with in my life.
00:16:17.000 I mean, it's not, I mean, they went straight from the KKK into the leadership of the Democrat Party, and they want free-thinking black individuals who got nowhere near leadership of their party in the Senate and Congress, decision-making, all up and down.
00:16:30.000 They want it to be a party that's no different than how they ran plantations back in the 1830s.
00:16:35.000 And what else, Charlie?
00:16:37.000 The way they have led black people who had black people were very conservative.
00:16:42.000 Matter of fact, a lot more conservative, I would say, than whites were for the most part.
00:16:46.000 But the Democratic Party has led them down where now they're abandoning the traditional family.
00:16:51.000 Now they're putting illegals before blacks.
00:16:54.000 Now there's no support for law enforcement.
00:16:57.000 Now you can come in and tear down statutes under the auspices of it's related to Confederacy or slavery.
00:17:04.000 But at the same time, they have black people tearing down Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln monuments now.
00:17:10.000 You know what I'm saying?
00:17:11.000 That's what the liberals are doing to Democrats.
00:17:14.000 And Black Lives Matter, you know this, Charlie, as well as I do.
00:17:18.000 Black Lives Matter were founded by lesbians, and they don't support the traditional black family, having a black male in the house as a father figure.
00:17:27.000 They don't support that.
00:17:28.000 And you know, that name, Black Lives Matter, bamboos with a lot of people.
00:17:32.000 That's why I'm surprised to see a lot of these corporations giving them money.
00:17:38.000 And first of all, where's this money going?
00:17:40.000 I wish we could track more where it's going, how it's been spent, but they're getting millions.
00:17:44.000 And here they are.
00:17:46.000 They don't support law enforcement.
00:17:47.000 They're part of burning and looting communities and destroying communities.
00:17:52.000 Charlie, something's not right about that.
00:17:55.000 There's a dead cat on the end of that line.
00:17:59.000 Here's the thing about home security companies.
00:18:01.000 Most trap you with high prices, tricky contracts, and horrendous, lousy, terrible customer support.

00:18:51.000 So you also commented on defunding the police.
00:18:53.000 You said, quote, isn't it ironic that the Democrat politicians never leave home without security to protect them at all times?
00:18:59.000 Why don't they forego their security and replace them with social workers since that's what they want for us?
00:19:04.000 Can you expound on that?
00:19:05.000 Well, that's hypocrisy.
00:19:07.000 First of all, we should be giving more funding to police, not less funding.
00:19:11.000 You know, I was fortunate enough to command a large police department.
00:19:14.000 And in that police department, and most people will tell you, law enforcement officers only get that psychological examination during the hiring process.
00:19:22.000 But after that, they don't get it throughout the year.
00:19:25.000 So let's say you're an officer, you've been on the street five years and you've been dealing with this.
00:19:29.000 Nobody has given you a psychological examination to see where you are mentally.
00:19:33.000 Are you burned out?
00:19:34.000 Should we put you in a different position?
00:19:36.000 Because those things can make a difference when our officers make a decision between use of force, daily use of force, versus non-lethal, or how to de-escalate a situation.
00:19:46.000 Another thing, too, technology.
00:19:48.000 They need more money for technology, like the bolar rap, which is non-lethal, but will constrain an individual.
00:19:54.000 They need more money for that.
00:19:55.000 And they need more money for training, like in Georgia, for example.
00:19:59.000 A police officer gets two hours a year in de-escalation.
00:20:04.000 They only get two hours a year also for use of force.
00:20:08.000 We need more money to give them more training.
00:20:10.000 And so when you're talking about defunding police, why don't we take, and matter of fact, Charlie, you know, they were talking about replacing domestic calls with social workers.
00:20:23.000 Well, domestic calls are some of the most dangerous calls you can make.
00:20:27.000 And who's going to protect the social worker?
00:20:29.000 So if they don't think security is that important, they don't think supporting law enforcement is that important, then why don't they just give up their security and give them a couple of social workers?
00:20:40.000 I think they need some social workers based on how they're thinking.
00:20:43.000 I think that would be a good move.
00:20:46.000 But Charlie, it's just amazing where the Democratic Party has gone in terms of turning its back on law enforcement officers.
00:20:53.000 As I mentioned last night, man, they have families.
00:20:56.000 They live in our communities.
00:20:57.000 You know, their mom and dad and wives and children want them to come home safely too.
00:21:02.000 We have some bad apples.
00:21:03.000 There's a way to deal with that.
00:21:04.000 But, you know, you just blindly just, and you look at these Democratic cities, when I say Democratic cities, cities led by Democrats, almost every one of them have turned their back on law enforcement.
00:21:16.000 What is that about?
00:21:18.000 And those suburban white moms that they're saying that President Trump doesn't have, he needs to target, they're seeing those Antifa and Black Lives Matter folks coming out into their neighborhoods now.
00:21:29.000 And you know what?
00:21:31.000 They are afraid to death.
00:21:33.000 And you know who are they going to vote for?
00:21:34.000 Whomever is representing law and order.
00:21:37.000 And who that is?
00:21:38.000 President Donald Trump.
00:21:39.000 And President Trump stands for decency and reasonability against the just arson of the mob all across our country.
00:21:47.000 And so can you talk more about BLM Incorporated, the organization?
00:21:53.000 It's almost if you are in our in this country, you are almost forced to say that you support BLM Incorporated.
00:22:00.000 You mentioned that these are Marxists that are trying to disintegrate our country.
00:22:03.000 Can you talk more about that?
00:22:06.000 Well, you know what?
00:22:07.000 I think we all can agree that Black Lives Matter.
00:22:10.000 Now, I think there's some legitimate discussions where if a white young teenager goes missing and she's blonde, blue-eyed, a lot more liberal media attention comes to that.
00:22:21.000 When a black young teenager girl goes missing, it does not get the same amount of attention.
00:22:28.000 Now, that's the media doing that, the liberal media that's doing that.
00:22:32.000 Now, but at the end of the day, Black lives do matter.
00:22:37.000 I think I would have said Black Lives Matter too.
00:22:40.000 That means all lives matter.
00:22:43.000 But when you look at the founders and their founding principles, it has nothing to do with saving black lives.
00:22:50.000 They're pushing the transgender agenda, which is fine if that's what they want to do.
00:22:54.000 I'm not knocking them.
00:22:55.000 Do what you want to do.
00:22:56.000 Live the way you want to live.
00:22:57.000 But don't come and fool people and talk about it's about saving black lives.
00:23:01.000 And you only want to jump and shout and scream and riot when a white officer is involved in a shooting versus children being shot down every weekend in Chicago and it's hashtag Black Lives Crickets.
00:23:14.000 That's not right.
00:23:16.000 Be consistent.
00:23:17.000 And how is, what about the police officer, the former police chief in St. Louis was shot down, killed on the streets of St. Louis providing protection at a friend's business.
00:23:29.000 Where was Black Lives Matter?
00:23:30.000 Dave Dorne was his name.
00:23:33.000 Why wasn't that officer's funeral made national news where they cover that funeral, the entire funeral of a law enforcement officer, not clips of it, but why not do that the same way you did George Floyd?
00:23:49.000 All right, because Black Lives Matter.
00:23:52.000 So the hypocrisy of Black Lives Matter, because in reality, all Black lives do not matter to Black Lives Matter.
00:24:00.000 What matters to Black Lives Matter is that left agenda where they're getting the mozzarella from, the George Zoros and the other organizations who's funding them to carry out their destruction of this country.
00:24:13.000 In the Black community, is there a little bit of uneasiness about the amount of rioting and looting and arson and crime that is being spread?
00:24:20.000 Because the media makes it seem as if BLM Incorporated is nothing but popular and supported in the Black community.
00:24:28.000 Well, what's interesting, you really have more white people rioting, looting, and destroying neighborhoods because there are not many black people in Seattle, Portland, and some of these other cities.
00:24:41.000 So to make it like a black thing, are white people afraid of what these groups are doing?
00:24:47.000 Stop trying to pit black against white.
00:24:49.000 What are white people afraid?
00:24:50.000 I believe white people are just as afraid as me and any other black person with a normal sense who want to protect their families, want to protect their property, who want to save neighborhoods.
00:25:01.000 So I don't understand why they're not asking white people, aren't you afraid of Antifa and Black Lives Matter coming to the suburbs and making a big deal out of that?
00:25:12.000 But no, they don't want to do that.
00:25:13.000 That's the liberal media, Charlie.
00:25:16.000 So President Trump, we're about two months more or less until the election, a little more than that.
00:25:22.000 It's just coming down really quick.
00:25:24.000 What do you think the president has to do to continue to expand the support amongst former Democrats such as yourself or even people that are supporting President Trump as a Democrat?
00:25:34.000 Not just in the black community, but what really do you think is the most persuasive line of argumentation for the president to be able to win this election and get people over into the Trump campaign?
00:25:45.000 Well, first of all, I like now that the president, when he does his press conferences, it's just him.
00:25:50.000 When he rolls out his staff, the media is intentionally trying to get one person to disagree with just one person one time to disagree with the president and it's all over the place.
00:25:59.000 You and I and American people know that Dr. Farsey and the liberal media first said when Trump took a step to stop the spread by banning travel from China, they said that, oh, this is nothing more than a flu.
00:26:13.000 Well, okay, we found out later that wasn't the case.
00:26:17.000 There were times when Dr. Farsi and others say, well, you don't have to wear a mask.
00:26:20.000 So now they want to make a big deal out of a mask.
00:26:22.000 So that's all over the place.
00:26:23.000 But I like how the president comes and he answered their questions.
00:26:26.000 And if he can't answer their questions right, then he'll get back with them because he's getting advice and counsel from his people.
00:26:31.000 So that helps a lot.
00:26:32.000 But I also think it helps when he let the American people know, and I think he's doing that.
00:26:35.000 Great job now, that we are working on this pandemic.
00:26:39.000 It is important.
00:26:40.000 We are going to find a cure from this.
00:26:42.000 It's right around the corner.
00:26:43.000 Just bear with me.
00:26:44.000 I've opened up the floodgates, allowing these private organizations to jump over a lot of these restrictions that should have been changed long time ago and allowing the private sector to do what they do best.
00:26:57.000 And just hold on, I'm with you.
00:26:59.000 In the meantime, continue to provide best practices, get tools and resources to first responders and governments pushing out the states and try to make, you know, get those things out to those who need them most.
00:27:12.000 But more importantly, Charlie, because he's testimonying of the country and we're face masks, you could not find them.
00:27:19.000 Now you can find them everywhere.
00:27:21.000 The president is getting this stuff out of here.
00:27:22.000 But at the same time, by him opening up this economy so people can go back to work to try to save their businesses.
00:27:29.000 We're getting more creative now with what Skyping and teleconferencing and all that where people now are encouraged.
00:27:36.000 Okay, we can go back to work.
00:27:38.000 But the thing about this virus, Charlie, it's a China virus.
00:27:42.000 It's not an American virus.
00:27:44.000 And I'm glad that the president keeps saying this is China, China, China, because they'll have you thinking that it's Trump's virus.
00:27:50.000 This thing is unique because you can't see it.
00:27:52.000 You can't slap it.
00:27:53.000 You can't shoot it.
00:27:55.000 You can't kick it.
00:27:57.000 And so no other president has had to deal with something like this in our generation.
00:28:01.000 So, but I think he's doing a hell of a job and just stayed a core and talk about his record of accomplishments and talk about what he has in pipe for the next four years.
00:28:12.000 Well, Vernon, you are an American hero.
00:28:14.000 Thank you for supporting our president and thank you for being such a heroic voice.
