00:01:31.000 Is Elon Musk and Doge about to unwind the biggest fraud in American history?
00:01:36.000 Over the weekend and into last night, Elon Musk on Twitter has been highlighting an unusual thing about the data of the Social Security Administration.
00:01:45.000 There are millions and millions of numbers that are linked to people that are over 110 years old.
00:01:51.000 Literally, you can look at the chart.
00:01:52.000 Let's put the chart up on screen.
00:01:54.000 There's 3.6 million numbers for people aged 110. There are 3.5 million for people aged 140 to 149. There's almost 1.5 million for people ages over 150. There it is right there.
00:02:13.000 Now let's just take a pause.
00:02:14.000 For those of us that have been in the fight for fiscal sanity for well over 13 years, we've known this.
00:02:21.000 We've talked about it.
00:02:22.000 We've clamored.
00:02:23.000 And politicians just kind of sit down and shut up.
00:02:26.000 Who cares?
00:02:27.000 This has all been looked into.
00:02:28.000 So the conventional D.C. wisdom is, okay, this is normal.
00:02:31.000 It's just paperwork.
00:02:33.000 We're not sending payments to people that shouldn't be getting them.
00:02:37.000 However, after so many of our eyes were opened during COVID, do we trust the government to say that they've looked into this thoroughly?
00:02:47.000 After the government has lied to us repeatedly about the open border, lied to us repeatedly about the safe and effective vaccine.
00:02:56.000 The government has not earned our trust.
00:02:59.000 The last decade, the last 20 years, the last 30 years, they lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
00:03:05.000 So you look at this chart, 3.6 million numbers for people ages 110 to 119. Now, mind you, this is not about cutting Social Security for current beneficiaries or for those of you that are retirees.
00:03:18.000 This is about sending money to what we call phantom Social Security numbers.
00:03:23.000 Now, some people have suggested this could be millions of people who are fraudulently drawing Social Security benefits on behalf of people who died half a century ago.
00:03:33.000 It's probably a bit more complex than that.
00:03:36.000 However, is it a black hole?
00:03:38.000 Is this a glitch in the financial accounting matrix of the federal government?
00:03:44.000 The Social Security Administration has an Inspector General, and they've been aware of the issue.
00:03:49.000 Again, excuse me while I dismiss your awareness.
00:03:53.000 I'm on Team Elon here.
00:03:55.000 I don't want to hear your excuses.
00:03:57.000 Oh, the numbers are here.
00:03:59.000 But I'm going to build out what their excuses are.
00:04:02.000 And we'll see whether or not this might be the most glaring smoking gun of financial waste in the history of the U.S. government.
00:04:14.000 The Social Security Administrator has an Inspector General.
00:04:17.000 And they say they've been aware of this.
00:04:19.000 They investigated it in both 2015 and 2023. What they basically said they found was this.
00:04:25.000 Most of these expired numbers are from before there were electronic databases for tracking deaths.
00:04:32.000 There are a lot of people, and as a result, who simply don't have a death date logged.
00:04:37.000 Now the Social Security Administration says they have methods in place to avoid paying fraudulent benefits to these old numbers.
00:04:45.000 But they're also too lazy to clean up their data.
00:04:48.000 They say it's not worth it because it would cost $5 to $10 million.
00:04:52.000 I'm sorry.
00:04:52.000 $10 million?
00:04:54.000 That's a rounding error.
00:04:56.000 We send hundreds of millions of dollars of missiles to Ukraine and $10 million, they won't clean up a rounding error?
00:05:05.000 You have a $6 trillion budget and you won't spend $10 million to clean up?
00:05:09.000 What is obviously a glaring problem with the Social Security Administration?
00:05:13.000 It seems a little suspicious.
00:05:15.000 The Inspector General sounded the alarm in 2023. This is Biden's Inspector General.
00:05:21.000 They pointed out there's all kinds of ways that expired social security numbers can be used in fraud.
00:05:28.000 For example, it can help illegal immigrants to blend in.
00:05:30.000 We know this is happening.
00:05:32.000 We know that there are millions of illegals that steal social security numbers.
00:05:37.000 This we know of.
00:05:38.000 How many and who they are will probably be discovered by Elon via Doge.
00:05:43.000 And that's kind of where the Elon force and the Tom Homan force are going to converge.
00:05:49.000 They take expired Social Security numbers and they use them to work illegally.
00:05:54.000 People also open fraudulent bank accounts using expired Social Security numbers.
00:06:00.000 Some people could even use them to take fake IDs and perhaps even vote fraudulently.
00:06:05.000 And some people, which is illegal, they don't report the death of a loved one like a mother or a father or grandmother.
00:06:13.000 And so they just keep on getting Social Security checks, cashing them in the name of the deceased.
00:06:19.000 And then taking the money.
00:06:22.000 Now, according to Stephen Miller, who's a very smart and thoughtful person, these are fraud rings operating abroad using a treasure trove of expired Social Security numbers.
00:06:32.000 If this is even 1% true, this is one of the greatest scandals in the history of the American budget, glaring in front of us.
00:06:44.000 And they say it would only spend $10 million to fix?
00:06:48.000 For the record, that's less than 1,000th of the budget of USAID. Here is Stephen Miller, a serious thinker and a real operator, claiming this is a foreign ring using U.S. taxpayer dollars to reverse launder money from you to we don't know where.
00:07:07.000 Black holes of cartels and Iranian leaders, Chinese Communist Party outposts.
00:07:14.000 Is this some sort of a government spending program via money laundering?
00:07:21.000 Playcut72.
00:07:22.000 As we know, there's a massive amount of fraud in this country.
00:07:25.000 You have, for example, foreign fraud rings.
00:07:29.000 These are foreign nationals who come into the United States.
00:07:32.000 They use fake Social Security numbers.
00:07:34.000 They use fake identities to steal billions in taxpayer benefits.
00:07:38.000 There's no way to know until Doge gains full access exactly how much money we're talking about.
00:07:44.000 But over a 10-year normal budget window, you could be talking about saving over a trillion dollars by clamping down on massive fraud in our tax and entitlement systems, including, again, those carried out by organized fraud and theft rings.
00:07:58.000 You could fix this in one afternoon.
00:08:00.000 You want to know how?
00:08:01.000 I could fix this overnight.
00:08:02.000 You classify everybody over 120 years as dead.
00:08:06.000 You don't need a death certificate.
00:08:07.000 There is not a living person over 120 years right now in the United States of America.
00:08:11.000 I think the oldest person ever to live in America is like 122. Ever.
00:08:16.000 In the history of the country.
00:08:17.000 So all 120 you can classify as dead.
00:08:20.000 That would fix it immediately.
00:08:22.000 But they're not doing it.
00:08:23.000 Why?
00:08:24.000 Makes you wonder, where is all this money going?
00:08:27.000 Who is benefiting from this?
00:08:29.000 The old Latin phrase, qui bono, who is to benefit from this?
00:08:33.000 Why won't you just spend the 10 million to clean it up?
00:08:36.000 Elon Musk believes this is one of the greatest discoveries of fraud.
00:08:41.000 Ever.
00:08:42.000 And then it really makes you wonder, if our Social Security logs are this messed up, how messed up are our voting logs?
00:08:50.000 How messed up are the elections?
00:08:53.000 If our Social Security rolls are this messy and corrupt, how messy and corrupt are the voter rolls?
00:09:04.000 We won't know until Doge does what Doge does.
00:09:10.000 But it makes you wonder.
00:09:13.000 It makes you ponder.
00:09:16.000 Is our nation needlessly going into debt to the tune of $35 trillion to not even send money to its citizens?
00:09:27.000 These are very scary questions.
00:09:29.000 This is an untreated cancer that is metastasizing throughout the federal government.
00:09:36.000 There's probably at least $1 trillion of waste.
00:09:40.000 One out of six dollars at least is wasted in our federal government.
00:09:44.000 And of course, Biden wouldn't want to fix any of it.
00:09:48.000 And Elon Musk is on a focused campaign, like a precision Tomahawk missile, to fight for you, the American people, the American worker.
00:09:58.000 And President Trump is doing the greatest government reduction efficiency program in the history of this republic.
00:10:05.000 Elon says, quote, All outgoing government payments have a payment categorization code to enable financial audits.
00:10:12.000 He noted that this code, quote, is frequently left blank, implying a systemic failure to track payments properly, which he sees as a critical flaw that hinders accountability.
00:10:22.000 Quote, the logic flow diagram for the Social Security system looks insane, he says.
00:10:28.000 The payment files that move between Social Security and Treasury have significant inconsistencies that are not reconciled.
00:10:36.000 Further highlighting that his view that the Treasury payments tracking is disjointed and unreliable.
00:10:41.000 These are not just yellow flags.
00:10:43.000 These are red flags.
00:10:45.000 Are we going into debt to not even give money to our own citizens?
00:10:52.000 Are we destroying the dollar to send trillions of dollars overseas?
00:10:57.000 This is a five-alarm fire.
00:10:59.000 And President Trump's going to put it out.
00:11:03.000 How well do you sleep at night?
00:11:04.000 Real peace of mind comes from knowing your family is prepared for tough times.

00:12:01.000 Understand, there is a bipartisan cabal that is trying to get in the way of this.
00:12:08.000 They are going straight after the core of the problem.
00:12:13.000 You follow the money.
00:12:15.000 It is the oldest axiom in D.C. Follow the money.
00:12:18.000 Follow the money.
00:12:19.000 No one has ever thought to follow the money of the Social Security Administration.
00:12:24.000 Help me understand this.
00:12:27.000 Or at least let's entertain this together.
00:12:30.000 If you can't steal Social Security numbers when you invade the country as an illegal alien, maybe less people would have invaded the country.
00:12:40.000 Does a relaxed Social Security administration system quietly subsidize illegal immigration?
00:12:48.000 Does the Joe Biden regime, because they want open borders, say, just turn the other way.
00:12:53.000 It's okay if they steal.
00:12:54.000 They want the foreigners to become voters, and so one of the ways that they allow them to stay is through the theft of legitimate or once legitimate Social Security numbers.
00:13:04.000 Here is Caroline Levitt on the fraud that is being uncovered at the Social Security Administration.
00:13:12.000 It's in every single agency, and no one has thought to even look at it.
00:13:17.000 You work your tail off to pay your taxes.
00:13:19.000 You're a carpenter, you're a welder, you're a teacher, you're a retiree, you're a financial manager, you're a truck driver.
00:13:25.000 You're an Uber driver.
00:13:26.000 Whatever you are, you're a hairdresser, massage therapist, you work your tail off and you pay your taxes.
00:13:32.000 And this racket that calls itself Washington, D.C. doesn't even check the social security numbers of people that are 145 years old.
00:13:41.000 145 years old!
00:13:43.000 That means they were born in 1880 and they're still getting social security checks potentially.
00:13:49.000 This is Caroline Levitt.
00:13:51.000 They're going after the heart of the matter.
00:13:53.000 This presidency is unlike any other.
00:13:54.000 This is not just about reorganizing chairs and doing photo ops with Super Bowl winners.
00:14:00.000 This is about getting to the essence of the matter.
00:14:04.000 Play Cut 62. President Trump has directed Elon Musk and the Doge team to identify fraud at the Social Security Administration.
00:14:12.000 They haven't dug into the books yet, but they suspect that there are tens of millions of deceased people who are receiving fraudulent Social Security payments.
00:14:22.000 And so their goal in going into the Social Security Administration is to identify three things.
00:14:28.000 Number one, to identify duplicate payments and to end them.
00:14:32.000 Number two, to identify payments.
00:14:37.000 And number three, to protect the integrity of this system for hardworking Americans who have been paying into it their entire lives.
00:14:48.000 So rest assured to all of the people watching your show tonight, if you paid into the system, honestly, you will continue to receive your Social Security checks.
00:14:58.000 Do not buy into the lies from the legacy fake news media who are trying to fear you and scare you.
00:15:05.000 Look, we know how many people are getting Social Security payments, and there are not tens of millions of people that are necessarily getting fake ones.
00:15:15.000 But the question is, which one is a fake and which one is legitimate?
00:15:18.000 That is the question.
00:15:19.000 The question is, which ones are the legitimate ones and which ones are the fake ones and which ones continue past the point of death?
00:15:27.000 We got an email here from one of our listeners saying that their loved one died during COVID. And the Social Security checks, even though they reported it, came for another three years.
00:15:38.000 Another three years kept on coming.
00:15:41.000 Even though they tried to report it.
00:15:43.000 And then you have to wonder, is this laziness or is this incompetence?
00:15:47.000 And they say, oh, it's $10 million to fix it.
00:15:50.000 That feels like the silliest, dumbest excuse I've ever heard.
00:15:54.000 That the government doesn't want to spend money on something?
00:15:57.000 $10 million is the salary of a backup wide receiver on the Arizona Cardinals.
00:16:04.000 The government will spend more on that for donuts at the FBI. That response is incredibly suspicious.
00:16:12.000 And it begs the question, what are they hiding?
00:16:16.000 Well, Tim Burchett, congressman, thinks that Congress is heavily implicated in this.
00:16:22.000 Playcut 73. Well, the IRS has hundreds of different groups that have access to this stuff.
00:16:29.000 And yet, no one's complained about that.
00:16:31.000 There's checks and balances in place for the specific system.
00:16:35.000 That's not true.
00:16:35.000 Even the IRS, even politicals and the former IRS commissioner who was just on the show yesterday said even he didn't go to it, and it's highly unusual for politicals to have access to that system.
00:16:45.000 Do you not have questions about what they're doing with the data, why they want access to private tax information from Americans?
00:16:52.000 Do you not have those questions as a member of the Oversight Committee?
00:16:57.000 I have questions.
00:16:58.000 The only reason you'd have questions is if you're doing something crooked.
00:17:02.000 And you're going to see a lot of congressmen with red faces when they follow this paper trail back to members of Congress, ma'am.
00:17:09.000 And that's the bottom line.
00:17:11.000 And again, you have to wonder how much of this is a soft subsidy of illegal immigration.
00:17:16.000 When an illegal comes in a country, there is a black market that shows them how to steal Social Security numbers.
00:17:23.000 Who are these Social Security numbers?
00:17:25.000 They certainly are not legitimate.
00:17:28.000 Where do they come from?
00:17:30.000 And this only continues the distrust of government.
00:17:35.000 President Trump is going to spend most of his first term cleaning up all this crap from Biden and the prior regime.
00:17:40.000 This is so murky.
00:17:42.000 It opens up an incredibly suspicious black hole.
00:17:47.000 Email here from Lorna.
00:17:48.000 Charlie, two people are using my social security number.
00:17:51.000 I went to report it to the social security office.
00:17:53.000 They said there's nothing they could do about it.
00:17:55.000 I provided names, address, and all this.
00:17:57.000 Followed up to the government multiple times.
00:17:59.000 They couldn't care less.
00:18:00.000 The government doesn't really care.
00:18:01.000 The government has not cared about you for quite some time.
00:18:04.000 I have so little trust in the government.
00:18:06.000 So should you, by the way.
00:18:07.000 We're trying to rebuild that.
00:18:08.000 That's what Elon and Trump are doing.
00:18:10.000 We want a government that is worthy of our trust.
00:18:12.000 But they have not earned it.
00:18:13.000 In fact, they've earned our distrust.
00:18:16.000 This is a very suspicious story.
00:18:18.000 I wonder where all that money is going.
00:18:22.000 If you have student loans, you've got to listen carefully.
00:18:25.000 Being debt-free and not living under this burden is not just a dream.
00:18:29.000 The first step is contacting YReFi.
00:18:31.000 A lot of you in this audience probably have student loans.
00:18:34.000 There's over $300 billion in the private student loan market, but $45 billion of that is labeled as distressed.
00:18:40.000 They help reorganize it for you.
00:18:42.000 They provide a custom loan payment based on your ability to pay.
00:18:46.000 It is Y-R-E-F-Y.com.
00:18:49.000 That's YReFi.com.
00:18:50.000 This is the key.
00:18:51.000 They offer a three-minute rate check without any credit impact.
00:18:56.000 By the way, this is the time to do that.
00:18:58.000 We don't know what's happening at the Department of Education.
00:18:59.000 We don't know what's happening with all these changes that's happening from the top down.
00:19:03.000 Now is the time to bounce.
00:19:05.000 Many clients are not even able of YReFi to make their minimum monthly payment on their private student loans when they first contact YReFi.
00:19:14.000 And so if you have a distressed private student loan, this is the key for you.
00:19:19.000 It's not debt settlement company, and they work with each borrower individually, tailoring each loan to each borrower's specific situation.
00:19:27.000 They're great guys.
00:19:28.000 Total Patriots is Y-R-E-F-Y dot com.
00:19:33.000 Joining us now is Speaker Newt Gingrich.
00:19:36.000 Mr. Speaker, great to see you.
00:19:37.000 Thanks for coming on the show.
00:19:38.000 Charlie, it's always great to be with you.
00:19:40.000 You do an amazing job.
00:19:42.000 Well, thank you.
00:19:43.000 It's hard to keep up with the pace of this administration.
00:19:47.000 I kind of want to start with that, Mr. Speaker.
00:19:49.000 I mean, you're a historian.
00:19:50.000 You've lived through and worked with several presidents.
00:19:53.000 This is remarkable.
00:19:54.000 Have we seen anything like this in American history?
00:19:58.000 No, I don't think so.
00:19:59.000 I think if you dated from the 7th of November after it was clear he was going to be president all the way up through the first month.
00:20:09.000 I'm writing on this Friday at Gingrich 360. There is a speed, a comprehensiveness, a clarity of what he's doing, which is extended through his whole team.
00:20:23.000 If you look at who he's been picking for key jobs, starting with Vice President Vance, he has a clear sense of the entrepreneurial energy and drive and toughness that he wants throughout the whole government.
00:20:37.000 And of the kind of America that he thinks we have to become if we're going to be great again.
00:20:42.000 So I've never seen anything like it.
00:20:44.000 I think if he can continue it for four years and if he can win the 2026 election, then I think he's going to be in a league just below Washington and Lincoln and maybe slightly above Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who created a majority that lasted for 90 years.
00:21:04.000 Trump is doing stuff.
00:21:06.000 I wouldn't have thought possible.
00:21:07.000 And what do you attribute that to?
00:21:10.000 Because the first term, by this time in the first term, we had national security advisors resigning.
00:21:16.000 We had the FBI spying.
00:21:17.000 We had Russiagate.
00:21:19.000 We had James Comey.
00:21:20.000 We had Mueller on the horizon.
00:21:23.000 Trump is permanently on offense.
00:21:25.000 And the Democrat opposition looks weak, disorganized, disunified, dispirited.
00:21:33.000 Why?
00:21:34.000 Well, I think the historians will look back and say the greatest mistake the left ever made was taking the election away from Trump in 2020. Because what it did is it allowed him to spend four years thinking about what had gone wrong, thinking about lessons he'd learned as president.
00:21:53.000 And at the same time, the left misunderstood the election, thought they had a mandate to go further and further left to be truly weird.
00:22:02.000 And the net effect was...
00:22:04.000 You ended up, I think, with a country that was madder, sicker of the left, more ready for change.
00:22:12.000 And thanks in part to the America First Policy Institute and the remarkable work of Linda McMahon and Brooke Rollins, there were some 400 people from the Trump administration who were actively preparing for a second administration.
00:22:28.000 So when he got elected on the 7th...
00:22:33.000 They already had, I think, 600 executive orders.
00:22:36.000 They knew what they wanted to do.
00:22:38.000 They knew who they trusted.
00:22:40.000 It was totally different.
00:22:42.000 Remember, in 2016, Trump had never run for public office.
00:22:46.000 There was no Trump organization.
00:22:48.000 MAGA was a movement, but it wasn't a structure.
00:22:51.000 Now, MAGA, all across America, there are huge numbers of people who think of themselves as MAGA and who are prepared to go out and work and help elect candidates who belong to Make America Great Again.
00:23:05.000 Totally different world than the world of 2016.
00:23:09.000 And there's real infrastructure behind it.
00:23:12.000 Mr. Speaker, I now want to talk about how President Trump is reformulating Western alliances.
00:23:19.000 J.D. Vance was in Munich last week and gave an exceptional speech that was then immediately condemned by the Germans.
00:23:27.000 How do you think about this geopolitically?
00:23:30.000 The Europeans seem entitled to unlimited amounts of U.S. taxpayer money without them contributing.
00:23:37.000 President Trump is doing this in a very thoughtful way.
00:23:40.000 What is your take?
00:23:41.000 Well, I just did a newsletter for Gingrich 360. My background, I'm a PhD in European history.
00:23:48.000 I've lived in France, Germany, Belgium, and Rome.
00:23:51.000 So I have some general interest in Europe.
00:23:56.000 I think what J.D. Vance did is sort of like your next north neighbor being an alcoholic, and you go over and you do an intervention.
00:24:06.000 He went to the Europeans, and what I think was an intervention, their system is failing.
00:24:12.000 Their elites are so isolated from the world and so isolated from their own people that they maintain power by cheating every day.
00:24:21.000 And Vance made a very courageous speech.
00:24:24.000 They actually made two speeches, one in Paris on artificial intelligence and then the speech at Munich.
00:24:29.000 And they both had a similar pattern.
00:24:31.000 You know, I just did some numbers a while ago.
00:24:35.000 There are 15 trillion dollar companies that are American, four that are Chinese, and then Saudi Aramco.
00:24:43.000 There are no European companies that are trillion dollar companies.
00:24:46.000 Well, the Europeans chose regulation rather than innovation.
00:24:51.000 And it's now destroying the continent.
00:24:55.000 And they're a husk of their former selves.
00:24:58.000 Let's talk about some of the domestic political issues in Europe.
00:25:02.000 J.D. Vance made it a point saying, not only are you guys embracing regulation and strangulated laws against your business, but also, they are cracking down on freedom of speech.
00:25:14.000 I mean, in Germany, there was this extraordinary piece of tape on 60 Minutes this last weekend.
00:25:19.000 They said, you can't insult somebody online.
00:25:21.000 You're not allowed to say, get out of my country.
00:25:24.000 This is considered to be hate speech.
00:25:26.000 Why should we as Americans continually subsidize that?
00:25:29.000 Well, we shouldn't.
00:25:30.000 It's actually quite ironic.
00:25:32.000 The Weimar Republic, which people always say, well, that's what free speech gets you to do.
00:25:37.000 The Weimar Republic had very strict laws.
00:25:40.000 There are 200 legal actions against the Nazis.
00:25:44.000 Hitler at one point is barred from speaking in Bavaria.
00:25:48.000 So it's not like the Weimar Republic was this wonderful world of free speech.
00:25:53.000 In fact, they were trying to find ways to restrict communists and to restrict Nazis.
00:25:58.000 And in the long run, it failed.
00:26:00.000 But it failed because the economy failed, because the world had failed from the standpoint of the average everyday German.
00:26:07.000 These rules in Europe and Britain, by the way, in some ways is the worst.
00:26:11.000 I mean, the British have had...
00:26:13.000 A grooming crisis of Pakistani males raping young girls and nothing being done because if you report it, it's considered Islamophobia.
00:26:23.000 So the parents get in trouble for trying to protect their 13 or 14-year-old grooming.
00:26:28.000 This stuff is crazy.
00:26:30.000 And, of course, the American elites, who are all still in a state of shock from the election, I mean, the performance on CBS the other morning with Marco Rubio was a disgrace.
00:26:43.000 inspired for pure incompetence.
00:26:45.000 I agree.
00:26:46.000 The things she said are just false.
00:26:48.000 And I think this is a real crisis.
00:26:51.000 The 60-minute speech is pure propaganda.
00:26:54.000 And of course, what you've seen is, as Jim Clifton and Gallup told me the other day, for the first time, the news media now ranks below Congress as an institution people don't trust.
00:27:06.000 And as a general rule now, I think the average American knows that if you're watching CBS or NBC or ABC, or you're reading the New York Times, the Washington Post, it's probably a lie.
00:27:17.000 It's probably fake.
00:27:19.000 And it's sad because we actually, we deserve better media than what the American people have been receiving right now.
00:27:26.000 I mean, you're, let me just say, you're part of this.
00:27:29.000 I mean, the fact is the country's turning to podcasts.
00:27:32.000 I mean, going on Joe Rogan, beat anything.
00:27:35.000 That Trump could have gained by going on the old networks.
00:27:38.000 That's right.
00:27:39.000 In terms of sheer believability and in terms of penetration.
00:27:42.000 You've done the same thing.
00:27:43.000 I think a big part of the rise in younger people supporting Trump comes directly from you.
00:27:48.000 And so in a sense, the old media is killing itself and driving people to places like your podcast.
00:27:55.000 And we will happily receive them and we will cheer on their demise.
00:28:00.000 So, Mr. Speaker, right now we have Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Steve Whitcoff and Michael Walls in Saudi Arabia.
00:28:10.000 I want to just make a little bit of a side note.
00:28:13.000 First, I do want to make sure we plug Gingrich360.
00:28:16.000 People should check that out.
00:28:18.000 But can you just add a little color here?
00:28:21.000 Marco Rubio might be the most talented diplomat I've seen in a generation.
00:28:27.000 He seems as if he is just built for diplomacy.
00:28:30.000 He's doing a phenomenal job.
00:28:32.000 Just any thoughts on Marco Rubio before we get into...
00:28:35.000 I've known Marco since before he was Speaker of the House in Florida.
00:28:42.000 We are old friends.
00:28:43.000 He is a brilliant political leader.
00:28:46.000 He was a great Speaker of the House in Florida.
00:28:49.000 And I think had Trump not overwhelmed him, he would have been a very good president.
00:28:54.000 I think he's very talented.
00:28:56.000 Plus...
00:28:57.000 As somebody with a background as a Cuban-American, he has a deep instinct for Latin America.
00:29:02.000 He's thought a great deal about communism because he's dealt with Castro and the Cubans.
00:29:07.000 And I think you're going to find, and he and I chatted about this the other day, he is going to remake the State Department into an institution that actually serves American interests rather than the elitist interests of the sort of Davos world gentry.
00:29:25.000 He does it well.
00:29:26.000 He's articulate.
00:29:27.000 He's smart.
00:29:28.000 He knows an immense amount.
00:29:30.000 I mean, these reporters don't know anything.
00:29:32.000 That's one thing you have to remember.
00:29:34.000 Not only are they biased, they don't know anything.
00:29:36.000 People like Marco know a great deal.
00:29:39.000 Whitcoff, by the way, has been a huge surprise.
00:29:41.000 I know Steve, but I knew him as a realtor.
00:29:43.000 I had no idea his negotiating talents.
00:29:46.000 And, of course, we have a great national security advisor with a real record.
00:29:51.000 Of being realistic about the world.
00:29:53.000 It's going to be interesting to see what they can accomplish in talking with the Russians and trying to get the Russians to understand that the war is over.
00:30:01.000 Period.
00:30:01.000 I think that's Trump's position.
00:30:03.000 This war is over.
00:30:04.000 We're now down to details.
00:30:07.000 And I think we'll do what we have to to convince Putin that he can't keep fighting.
00:30:14.000 Hey, Charlie Kirk here.

00:31:16.000 Mr. Speaker, we're seeing these peace talks happening in Saudi Arabia.
00:31:22.000 We have the Mike Wall's Marco Rubio.
00:31:27.000 And the entire team there, Steve Whitcoff, if we can get to an end of this Russian-Ukrainian war via negotiations in Saudi Arabia, what does this mean for American foreign policy and hopefully a reorientation towards the menacing rise of China?
00:31:47.000 Well, I mean, first of all, very symbolic that they're not meeting in Europe.
00:31:51.000 I mean, historically, you'd meet probably in Switzerland.
00:31:55.000 I think that's exactly right.
00:31:58.000 Think about it.
00:31:58.000 They've gone to Saudi Arabia, which makes the Saudis happy.
00:32:02.000 They have basically taken a step out of the old world, creating a new world.
00:32:08.000 Remember that Saudi Arabia is the first place Trump went when he was elected and sworn in in 2017.
00:32:15.000 So he does feel a deep affection for the crown prince, and he's trying to get him to sign a peace treaty with Israel.
00:32:23.000 So there's a lot of different things moving here.
00:32:28.000 The sense I get from talking with the president over a number of years, he is increasingly aware, first of all, of the danger of Putin having about 6,000 nuclear weapons and that nuclear war would be horrifying on a scale that none of us can appreciate.
00:32:46.000 Second, He really, I think, wants to be a peacemaker.
00:32:51.000 I believe personally that his being shot once and almost shot a second time with the sniper who they found at the golf course, I think that had a profound impact on him.
00:33:03.000 And I was reminded, Chris and I did two movies, one about...
00:33:06.000 John Paul II, called Nine Days to Change the World, is going back to Poland in 1979. And the other, called Ronald Reagan, Rendezvous of Destiny.
00:33:15.000 When Reagan and John Paul meet in 1982, they are comparing notes because they've both been shot.
00:33:24.000 And they said, why did God spare us?
00:33:26.000 And they decided God had spared them to defeat the Soviet Empire.
00:33:31.000 And they agreed to make basically an alliance to defeat the Soviet Empire.
00:33:35.000 Well, I think in a very similar way, Trump said, this is not hidden, he said in his inaugural address that he believes God spared him to make America great again.
00:33:46.000 And I think that that is about as deep a feeling as you can have.
00:33:52.000 And I think that he believes that part of that is not just here at home, but part of it is trying to make the world a safer and a better place, whether it's in Gaza.
00:34:03.000 Or Ukraine, or a number of other places, you're going to see him, I think, have an impact.
00:34:08.000 And he's begun to assemble a team, as you pointed out.
00:34:11.000 When you have somebody as good as Marco Rubio as your Secretary of State, you have a negotiator as effective as Steve Witkoff, and you have a National Security Advisor as realistic and smart as Mike Waltz.
00:34:26.000 You really have a pretty remarkable team.
00:34:30.000 So Trumpism, if you will.
00:34:33.000 It's both having an impact inside the U.S., but it's also having an impact all around the world.
00:34:39.000 That is so smart.
00:34:40.000 And about a minute and a half remaining, talk about what this might mean for the breaking up of BRICS. It's a not-so-subtle way to say, hey, America's convening in Saudi Arabia, and Russia, I know you've been doing this whole BRICS thing, but the dollar is going to reign supreme.
00:34:54.000 If we can pass a tax cut by May or June...
00:35:01.000 And have this economy roaring next year.
00:35:04.000 And keep the house next year.
00:35:07.000 This administration is going to lead to a boom on such a scale.
00:35:11.000 And this is part of what J.D. Vance talked about in Paris on artificial intelligence.
00:35:16.000 That the United States is just going to pull away from the rest of the planet.
00:35:19.000 And it's not even going to be close.
00:35:21.000 And at that point, the idea of somebody creating an alternative currency is just silly.
00:35:25.000 It won't happen.
00:35:26.000 It can't happen.
00:35:27.000 The dollar will be dominant.
00:35:29.000 Certainly for the rest of your life and probably for your grandchildren's life.
00:35:32.000 Mr. Speaker, thank you for your time.
00:35:34.000 That's gingrich360.com.
00:35:37.000 That's gingrich360.com.
00:35:38.000 Thank you so much.
00:35:39.000 Thank you.
00:35:40.000 Just a reminder, on Thursday, I will be at the University of South Florida for the American Comeback Tour, so make sure you guys check that out.
00:35:47.000 And Mr. Speaker brought up an incredibly astute point.
00:35:51.000 Going to Saudi Arabia, not Switzerland, not Brussels, not Paris.
00:35:55.000 You are taking this out of the European context.
00:35:58.000 You are globalizing it.
00:36:00.000 Because understand, the petrodollar is really the fundamental issue that was at play here.
00:36:04.000 Russia has been able to survive because of their currency based on oil and natural gas.
00:36:11.000 Saudi Arabia, obviously.
00:36:13.000 Saudi Arabia wants to be a country of the future.
00:36:16.000 They've got some work to do to get there.
00:36:17.000 But MBS is working hard on that.
00:36:19.000 So we go straight signal into Saudi Arabia.
00:36:22.000 Negotiate a peace there.
00:36:23.000 Forget the Europeans.
00:36:25.000 They're yammering at us all the time, complaining.
00:36:27.000 What do they bring to the table?
00:36:28.000 And do you notice who's not at the table?
00:36:29.000 Ukraine.
00:36:30.000 Ukraine's not at the table.
00:36:31.000 Nor should they be.
00:36:32.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:36:34.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
