00:01:41.000 Joining us now is a great friend and great American, Dr. Sebastian Gorka.
00:01:46.000 Dr. Gorka, welcome to the program.
00:01:49.000 Your initial thoughts of the triumph that was Super Tuesday.
00:01:53.000 Well, if you look at the trend lines, Charlie, great to be back of the prior six primaries or caucuses.
00:01:59.000 This is what we should have expected.
00:02:01.000 When you're blowing Democrat records out of the water in Democrat states like New Hampshire, of course you're going to have this result.
00:02:08.000 I'm just glad Nikki Haley, funded by the likes of Reid Hoffman, has decided to concede.
00:02:15.000 Although I will note, Charlie, she didn't have the grace of Ron DeSantis in her surrender speech to endorse President Trump, the man that America wants back in the White House.
00:02:26.000 Even Mitch McConnell, the arch rhino, endorsed President Trump today, but I guess that was too much for her to do.
00:02:34.000 So, Dr. Gorka, you have a very important piece framing Trump as a dissident.
00:02:39.000 Tell us about it.
00:02:40.000 Yeah, if you haven't seen it, the president's speech at CPAC just over a week ago was perhaps, it was his best CPAC speech, but it may be one of his most significant speeches as president or former president.
00:02:55.000 Why?
00:02:55.000 Because, look, it was fun because he spent the first 20 minutes on Prompter and then he said, this is boring.
00:03:01.000 And then he spent the next hour telling amazing stories about flying into Baghdad with no lights on Air Force One, no lights on the runway, how he dealt with Mexico, how he got Mexico to spend 10 to send tens of thousands of troops to the border.
00:03:16.000 Those stories were hilarious, even for somebody like me who's heard them all before.
00:03:20.000 But the beginning of the speech, he used two phrases that were chosen for their geopolitical and historic significance.
00:03:29.000 He spoke of himself as a political dissident, and he spoke of America as a captive nation.
00:03:36.000 You're a young chap, but for those of us who grew up, had our formative years in the Cold War, these are very important phrases.
00:03:46.000 Eisenhower first used the phrase captive nation to describe all those captured under Marxism behind the Iron Curtain.
00:03:54.000 And then when he called himself a political dissident, that's not hyperbole.
00:03:59.000 Remember, this man who doesn't need to run for office again, has been an incredibly successful individual in the private sector.
00:04:07.000 He's running again.
00:04:08.000 And what have they done to him in the last three years, Charlie?
00:04:11.000 He's now facing 730 years in prison, 730 years in prison.
00:04:16.000 That's what they do to political dissidents in Venezuela, in North Korea, in Cuba.
00:04:22.000 It's happening here in America.
00:04:24.000 And that's why I wrote that piece to my sub-stack to kind of focus the mind of the stakes in November.
00:04:29.000 We are eight months away, and we've heard it all before.
00:04:33.000 You know, every two years, this election is the most important one in your lifetime.
00:04:37.000 Well, guess what?
00:04:38.000 This time it's real.
00:04:39.000 If they lower the voting age to 16, if the Democrats get to redistrict the nation, if they pack the Supreme Court, you can kiss the Republic away.
00:04:49.000 It's that simple.
00:04:50.000 And I think the results of the primaries tell you that a lot of Americans are waking up to that reality, Charlie.
00:04:56.000 What can we learn from other dissidents that have been successful to incorporate into our movement?
00:05:02.000 Because if we're honest, Dr. Gorka, he is a dissident, but it's a movement of dissidents.
00:05:06.000 We're dissidents in our own country.
00:05:08.000 And I love this framing.
00:05:10.000 I've said it for quite some time.
00:05:11.000 And there's a black pill in this that I want to explore with you.
00:05:15.000 But first, let's just address this.
00:05:17.000 What are best practices, approaches, methodologies that we can all incorporate as we think of ourselves as dissidents?
00:05:26.000 Yeah, three things, and you know these well because you do it with turning point and every day with your show.
00:05:33.000 Number one, you must cleave to the truth.
00:05:36.000 If you find yourself censoring yourself, about to say something in public around the water cooler at the barbecue, and you say, What are they going to think about me if I tell this thing that's true?
00:05:48.000 That's when you realize you have to say it even louder.
00:05:51.000 You don't have to get preachy.
00:05:52.000 You don't have to get a soapbox.
00:05:54.000 When somebody says, well, the border's great, or Joe Biden's just fine, or, you know, it's really the Republicans who've made sure that we don't have a border.
00:06:02.000 You have to tell the truth.
00:06:04.000 It's absolutely critical that you tell the truth.
00:06:07.000 Secondly, you have to get engaged.
00:06:09.000 Look, Charlie, you know my wife, Katie.
00:06:11.000 Katie detests politics because she's sane.
00:06:14.000 Where was she yesterday?
00:06:16.000 She left the house at 4 a.m. and she came home at 10 p.m.
00:06:20.000 Why?
00:06:21.000 Because she was the chief election officer of our district in Virginia.
00:06:26.000 She is committed to making sure we don't have a stolen election.
00:06:32.000 Likewise, she ran for local office.
00:06:34.000 She failed the first time.
00:06:35.000 She won the second time.
00:06:37.000 Now she's running for the county chair in Fairfax because she doesn't want rhinos to be in that position.
00:06:43.000 So if my wife Katie can get engaged politically, nobody has an excuse.
00:06:49.000 And then lastly, this is the one that is a little bit finessed.
00:06:53.000 I'm quite angry.
00:06:54.000 I mean, God bless him for everything else he does, but I'm quite angry with Ben Shapiro for one phrase that he popularized when he said, remember, he built his career on facts don't care about your feelings.
00:07:06.000 Okay, Ben, that's true, but it's irrelevant because feelings matter.
00:07:12.000 And the left knows how to communicate with emotional intelligence, right?
00:07:17.000 We're the nasty capitalists.
00:07:18.000 We don't care.
00:07:19.000 The left are the people who are empathetic, the people who are okay with 60% of the women being trapped across the southern border being raped according to UN statistics.
00:07:30.000 So we have to understand how to communicate our factual truth, but at an emotional level.
00:07:37.000 And that takes a little bit of nuance.
00:07:39.000 It's something we have to win over the middle.
00:07:42.000 We're never going to win over the rhinos, right?
00:07:44.000 The 1,200 rhinos who voted for Nikki Haley in the District of Columbia.
00:07:50.000 Don't waste your time on them.
00:07:51.000 But the undecided, the independents, the relatives who wouldn't vote or aren't interested in voting, we have to bring them in, but with emotional messages, sympathetic, empathetic messages that bring them to the objective truth.
00:08:06.000 The left denies objective truth.
00:08:08.000 Objective truth is what we believe in, but we have to communicate it in a way that opens people's hearts, not just their minds.
00:08:17.000 So, Dr. Gorka, part of the issue with the framing of the dissident, the pushback I get, is people say, I'm not a dissident.
00:08:24.000 I'm still in the majority of this country, that we own the country and that we are they're wrong.
00:08:31.000 We don't control the CIA, the FBI, Google, Goldman Sachs, Facebook, the Intel agencies, Hollywood.
00:08:37.000 How do you respond to that to great patriots that quite honestly are living in happy denial whenever I tell them that they have to think like a dissident?
00:08:47.000 Great, great point.
00:08:48.000 So just take Donald Trump out of the equation.
00:08:52.000 Take Steve Banner, Peter Navarro, and people who are facing the wrath of a politicized FBI DOJ in the courts.
00:08:59.000 Just take them out of the equation.
00:09:00.000 Talk about average Americans.
00:09:02.000 Talk about Mark Hauck, who is the pro-life preacher who protects his 12-year-old son from a lunatic outside of Planned Parenthood, has that misdemeanor assault charge dropped in a district court, and then four months later, at gunpoint, has his home raided by the FBI as his seven children are screaming, don't shoot our father, right?
00:09:26.000 That's just an average individual.
00:09:28.000 Or what about the five pro-life activists who are praying at an abortion clinic and are facing 11 years in prison because of charges brought under the FACE Act?
00:09:42.000 Or if you're not, you know, if you're not a pro-life activist, okay, how about this?
00:09:46.000 We have sworn congressional testimony from federal police, from the FISA courts, that 250,000 Americans were subject to illegal surveillance, warrantless surveillance, simply because they supported President Trump.
00:10:05.000 That's not me.
00:10:05.000 That's not you.
00:10:06.000 That's not President Trump.
00:10:07.000 That's just the average Americans.
00:10:09.000 Or what about this?
00:10:10.000 I was with Mike Flynn a couple of days ago in Texas.
00:10:12.000 When General Flynn's wife has her credit card canceled by Bank of America because she's married to Mike Flynn, that could happen to anybody.
00:10:25.000 So people need to wake up.
00:10:27.000 When a state, when one party believes that they can use the organs of the intelligence community, the Department of Justice, the FBI, as their own political weapon system, any American can be the target.
00:10:44.000 After a long day, no one wants to spend an hour in the kitchen making dinner.
00:10:48.000 Well, how about quick and easy barbecue?
00:10:50.000 No, not takeout.
00:10:51.000 I'm talking juicy steaks, succulent chicken or fish, and healthy grilled veggies cooked on your own Soler infrared gas grill.
00:10:58.000 Soler grills are the hot, fast grills that heat up to 1,000 degrees in just three minutes, even in the dead of winter.
00:11:04.000 And that heat locks in juices and flavors and grills your food faster.
00:11:09.000 A veteran-owned, multi-generational family business, each Soler grill is made in America out of quality commercial-grade stainless steel.
00:11:18.000 It may be the last grill you'll ever need to buy.
00:11:21.000 It's an incredible product.

00:11:50.000 Dr. Gorka, I'm not sure how you're going to answer this.
00:11:53.000 How are you looking at the vice presidential selection?
00:11:57.000 Who do you like?
00:11:57.000 Who do you think would be a mistake?
00:11:59.000 Your thoughts, Dr. Gorka.
00:12:01.000 Okay, you put me in a tough position right now, Charlie.
00:12:04.000 Right out of the gate.
00:12:04.000 Come on, you host a radio show.
00:12:06.000 Come on, you got to be your feet.
00:12:08.000 No, no, no.
00:12:08.000 I know who it is.
00:12:09.000 I know who the president's chosen.
00:12:11.000 And I've been sworn to secrecy.
00:12:13.000 The interesting thing is, it's an amazing choice.
00:12:16.000 It's somebody nobody's talking about.
00:12:19.000 The president, of course, has the prerogative to change his mind.
00:12:23.000 Until I found out, I loved the idea of somebody like Byron Donalds.
00:12:29.000 I think he'd be a rock star.
00:12:31.000 Carrie Lake, even Tim Scott.
00:12:34.000 But at the end of the day, and I think you'll agree with me, Charlie, it doesn't really matter.
00:12:39.000 It's going to be such a choice, a binary choice between lightness, light and darkness, between getting back to a secure and prosperous America and the destruction of America under Biden or Newsom or whoever it is.
00:12:54.000 I don't really think anybody goes into that voting booth thinking, well, I'm going to vote for Biden because of his VEEP or President Trump because of his VEEP.
00:13:01.000 I do have one request or one thing I would like to see happen.
00:13:06.000 I don't want the usual vice president.
00:13:08.000 I don't want somebody who goes to the state funerals the president doesn't want to go to.
00:13:12.000 I want a real vice president who's going to have a job.
00:13:15.000 Like, if it's Vivek, tell Vivek to drain the swamp, to dismantle the CIA and the FBI.
00:13:22.000 Somebody who can actually get stuff done.
00:13:25.000 That's what I want from the vice president pick.
00:13:28.000 But at the moment, my lips are sealed.
00:13:30.000 So it's not somebody that we're thinking of.
00:13:33.000 No.
00:13:34.000 No, it's not.
00:13:35.000 It's somebody who's proven himself in Congress, but that's as far as I'm going to go.
00:13:41.000 Okay.
00:13:42.000 Let's see.
00:13:43.000 We'll find out.
00:13:44.000 I'll text you afterwards.
00:13:45.000 All right.
00:13:46.000 All right.
00:13:47.000 Fair enough.
00:13:48.000 So, Dr. Gorka, your biggest concern heading in November that you think the movement needs to address?
00:13:55.000 Just think about threat analysis.
00:13:58.000 Well, if it's the movement, it's people not engaging.
00:14:03.000 You know, you and I, we go to lots of events, we meet people.
00:14:06.000 The most common comment I get is: is it going to be okay?
00:14:10.000 Are we going to win?
00:14:11.000 And I get quite curt with people and Brusk.
00:14:15.000 And I say, what do you mean?
00:14:17.000 Is it going to be okay?
00:14:18.000 What are you going to do about it?
00:14:20.000 So I want everybody who listens to your show, watches your show, supports Turning Point USA.
00:14:25.000 I want them to ask themselves, you know, not only what are they going to do to glorify God every day, what are they going to do for the next eight months to save the Republic?
00:14:35.000 So I want the movement to be a movement so that we save America together, whether you're a poll watcher, whether you're knocking on doors.
00:14:42.000 My wife's team for the last election in Virginia knocked on 18,000 doors.
00:14:47.000 If she can do it, anyone can.
00:14:49.000 So there's that.
00:14:50.000 The bigger picture, the thing that really keeps me awake at night, and I'll be brutally honest, I said this when I was in the White House.
00:14:57.000 I said it after we left.
00:14:58.000 The bench.
00:15:00.000 We need to fill 4,000 positions.
00:15:02.000 And I don't know if we've got 400 positions of people who are prepared to do what it takes.
00:15:09.000 Why?
00:15:10.000 My friend Chris Plant, who has the morning show here in D.C., he points out one of the greatest successes of the left, Charlie, in the last 20 years is to make sure that decent patriots would never consider working in a Republican White House, and especially a Trump administration.
00:15:25.000 You're so disincentivized.
00:15:27.000 They come after the individual, they come after his family, his children.
00:15:31.000 I had one journalist, one scumbag journalist when I was deputy president, write a headline about my 18-year-old high school-age son with his name calling him a traitor in the headline.
00:15:44.000 Why would a sane person decide to step in that arena?
00:15:48.000 So I want us to all be part of the victory for the next eight months.
00:15:52.000 And I want us to have the tightest personnel system out there.
00:15:58.000 We can't have traitors inside the system like General Kelly, like the people who undermined us on the inside.
00:16:06.000 We need this to be a tight, tight ship of patriots who want to exercise the mandate of the American people as given to President Trump.
00:16:15.000 So let's win it first.
00:16:17.000 And then as Reagan taught us, personnel is policy, right, Charlie?
00:16:22.000 That's right.
00:16:23.000 Dr. Gorka, excellent work.
00:16:25.000 Anything you want to plug?
00:16:26.000 Podcast, obviously your three-hour show, book, anything you want.

00:17:06.000 Very good.
00:17:06.000 Dr. Gorka, thank you so much.
00:17:08.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:17:08.000 God bless.
00:17:12.000 Folks, so many people I know are disheartened that our country seems to have forgotten the importance of citizenship and they wonder how a strong sense of citizenship might be revived.
00:17:21.000 That's why my friends at Hillsdale College have produced a free online course on this topic, American Citizenship and Its Decline.
00:17:28.000 Taught by historian Victor Davis Hansen, the course traces the history of citizenship and explains how it is undermined in America today by open borders, by identity politics, by the administrative state, and by globalization.
00:17:41.000 Americans taking the course will gain a deeper insight about the connection between citizenship and freedom, an insight they can share with their family members, friends, and neighbors.
00:17:50.000 Hillsdale's free online courses are an important component of Hillsdale's mission to reach and teach increasing millions of people on behalf of liberty and the American way of life.

00:18:16.000 Joining us now is the Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton.
00:18:21.000 Ken, thank you so much for taking the time.
00:18:23.000 I know you're traveling, a lot happening right now in Texas.
00:18:26.000 You were kind of the centerpiece of a lot of the election yesterday in Texas.
00:18:31.000 Walk our national audience through that.
00:18:33.000 So it was a huge election for us.
00:18:35.000 We were trying to change the Texas House because for the last 15 years, the Democrats have block voted, gone to whatever Republican would give them the most, and then they control the Texas House.
00:18:46.000 So we were trying to take out the so-called Republican speaker, along with many of his cohorts who were helping him with this strategy.
00:18:54.000 And then we were also trying to change the Court of Criminal Appeals, which doesn't sound like anything that anyone would care about, except in Texas, they struck down our ability, my ability to prosecute voter fraud, which has an impact on the entire nation.
00:19:05.000 If I can't prosecute voter fraud, we're going to lose the state in a matter of years.
00:19:09.000 And so we put three candidates up against the incumbents, and it was a very good night for us.
00:19:15.000 We overwhelmingly won those three races, which is unusual because those incumbents have been in office between, I think it's 12 years and like 30 something years.
00:19:23.000 So they'd been there a long time.
00:19:25.000 And then we were able to hold on to John Devine in the Supreme Court, which is really important.
00:19:29.000 We won 12 races that are new people for us that will take the place of incumbents.
00:19:35.000 And then we have run off in, I think it's about 12 other races.
00:19:38.000 So it was really, I don't know of another night like this in Texas, at least for literally decades.
00:19:46.000 Maybe since there may be one other example in the 70s, but nothing like this in decades.
00:19:51.000 So you talk specifically about Dade Phelan.
00:19:54.000 He was the leader of that effort against you.
00:19:58.000 He is now going to a runoff.
00:20:00.000 This really is the people against the institutional money and the Bush Rove machine.
00:20:04.000 Tell us more about it, Ken Paxton.
00:20:06.000 Yeah, that's exactly right.
00:20:07.000 They spent millions.
00:20:08.000 When I say they, it's Carl Rove.
00:20:12.000 And then a guy named Dick Weakley, who's head of a group called Texans for a Lawsuit Reform that is funded by a lot of very wealthy people.
00:20:19.000 And those guys put their money behind all these house incumbents who not only fought the border security issues that we're dealing with, not only fought me and my impeachment, but generally have been difficult on election integrity issues.
00:20:33.000 And those are the people that funded Dade Phelan.
00:20:38.000 I think he probably spent two, three million dollars.
00:20:40.000 And I think in most of these house races, they funded him with well over a million dollars.
00:20:44.000 My lawyer was actually one of the members that won last night.
00:20:48.000 I think they spent $1.8 million to keep him out because he's so smart.
00:20:52.000 They certainly didn't want him there challenging the things that they do on a regular basis in the Texas House.
00:20:57.000 It was an amazing night.
00:20:59.000 And despite all the funding from the other side, I would guess we got outspent five to one.
00:21:03.000 And yet we had tremendous success.
00:21:07.000 That is extraordinary.
00:21:08.000 Talk about the kind of expansion or the changing of the Texas Republican Party.
00:21:14.000 The kind of the beast is no longer in the cage.
00:21:17.000 I mean that in the best possible way.
00:21:19.000 There has been an effort by Rove and Bush to kind of keep the Texas Republicans to sit down and behave.
00:21:26.000 But this is not just West Texas, though.
00:21:28.000 This is all across the state.
00:21:30.000 The America First, Texas First movement is ascendant.
00:21:33.000 It is dominant.
00:21:34.000 Texas is acting more and more like Texas, and the moderates are on the run.
00:21:38.000 Tell us more about that.
00:21:39.000 No, it's definitely right.
00:21:40.000 And you can tell Donald Trump endorsed in 17 races.
00:21:43.000 I think he won 13 last night.
00:21:44.000 It's a pretty high percentage of races.
00:21:47.000 And the Bushes and Karl Rove have run against people like me and funded races against me and others like me who are conservative for years.
00:21:55.000 This is the first time we've actually had a well-organized and semi-funded campaign against some of their candidates who have basically signed up to help the Democrats help run the state.
00:22:07.000 It is an extraordinary metamorphosis.
00:22:10.000 Let's now get down to some of the weeds of what you're working on and congratulations on the triumph that occurred yesterday.
00:22:19.000 What is the latest in your fight?
00:22:19.000 The border.
00:22:21.000 There was a news story that didn't get a lot of attention.
00:22:24.000 Is it true that now Texas can arrest and detain illegals?
00:22:29.000 There was a federal decision.
00:22:30.000 Were you guys involved in that?
00:22:33.000 Can you give us an update?
00:22:35.000 Yeah, first, I just wanted to thank you for helping us on these, letting people know about these races.
00:22:40.000 For example, the Court of Criminal Appeals, had you not covered it and people like you, we would not have been able to expose people to who's running because we had no money to support our statewide judges.
00:22:51.000 So going on your show and talking about it gave us the opportunity to get the word out.
00:22:55.000 So I want to thank you for that.
00:22:56.000 As far as that bill we passed, it was called SB4, and it was designed to allow us, since the federal government not only refuses to deport people, but encourages cartels to bring people here as fast as possible.
00:23:09.000 This bill allowed us to deport people who crossed our Texas border immediately.
00:23:15.000 And right now, we won at the Fifth Circuit.
00:23:18.000 They tried to enjoy us.
00:23:19.000 The Biden administration tried to stop us from enforcing that because it went into effect March the 4th, I think.
00:23:25.000 And we were successful all the way up to the Fifth Circuit.
00:23:27.000 And we got an injunction stopping us.
00:23:30.000 I think it was a 5-4 decision with Roberts and Barrett siding with the liberal judges.
00:23:35.000 But we're going to continue to fight it.
00:23:36.000 We think it's our only way to protect our border because we know, we all know, the federal government is not just not going to protect the border.
00:23:42.000 They're going to do everything they can to invite as many people in as possible.
00:23:46.000 So it cannot be true that any state joined the union, including Texas, we would not have joined had we thought that the federal government could just say, well, if we don't protect you, you can't protect yourself.
00:23:57.000 That cannot be the way this is set up, and it never was set up that way.
00:24:02.000 No, and so just everyone understands kind of a ping-pong match going back and forth.
00:24:05.000 It's like a legal tennis match.
00:24:08.000 It's one judge says yes, and then another judge says no, and then it's now we're waiting for the Supreme Court.
00:24:13.000 Is that fair to say, Ken?
00:24:14.000 Because it's kind of hard to track.
00:24:16.000 It's news cycle this back and forth.
00:24:18.000 It is got, yeah, it is hard to track.
00:24:20.000 And partly because we have so many immigration cases.
00:24:24.000 Yeah, so this one actually got to the Supreme Court on the injunction.
00:24:26.000 It hasn't gotten there on the merit.
00:24:28.000 So we're still in the fight trying to protect our, trying to protect our borders.
00:24:33.000 We just don't have that in place right now, even though the law is in effect.
00:24:38.000 We're having to wait to go through the trial process and the actual hearings to have the opportunity to actually keep people out of our state that aren't supposed to be here.
00:24:47.000 So what other cases, Attorney General Paxton, that you're working on that are top priority?
00:24:52.000 Election integrity, state sovereignty.
00:24:55.000 Walk us through some of the other stuff that you're working through and also re-emphasize the Court of Criminal Appeals.
00:25:01.000 Three judges we say, as you said, got voted out.
00:25:03.000 Kind of weave those two things together.
00:25:05.000 Yeah, so we had to sue a bunch of our school districts for electioneering.
00:25:09.000 They're not allowed to use taxpayer dollars to fund candidates, and they were doing that.
00:25:13.000 So we had like five or six lawsuits shifted in the last week over that.
00:25:17.000 Our Pfizer lawsuit is on its way.
00:25:20.000 So we think we're going to end up exposing the fact that Pfizer was not truthful about the effectiveness of their vaccine or the side effects.
00:25:31.000 We have a trial date set for our big Google case, which is an antitrust case, trying to break them up because they're a monopoly in online advertising.
00:25:39.000 And that one is a huge case for us.
00:25:41.000 And then we, of course, have we have several other immigration cases related to buoys that we put up, related to our fences that we put up.
00:25:49.000 And of course, the one we talked about.
00:25:52.000 It's a remarkable case load.
00:25:55.000 We have your back, and they tried to take you out.
00:25:57.000 Just can you recap how the last year has been, Attorney General Paxton?
00:26:01.000 A year ago, you were fighting for your political life and now you have the wind at your back and the people that were trying to take you out had a very, very bad evening.
00:26:08.000 Just kind of recap personally how the last year has been on you and your family.
00:26:12.000 Well, it was about a year ago in May that they suddenly announced that they were impeaching me.
00:26:16.000 It was a three-day process.
00:26:18.000 There were no witnesses, no due process.
00:26:21.000 And it happened in a quick three-day period.
00:26:23.000 I spent my whole summer trying to prepare, even though it was difficult since they never really told me what the issues were in very much detail.
00:26:31.000 And then once we got through the impeachment and I was successful in overcoming that, I spent since September on the road recruiting people to run for judicial position, recruiting people to run for the Texas House.
00:26:43.000 And that's what I've spent my life doing until this, you know, yesterday.
00:26:47.000 And now I'm working on runoff until the end of May.
00:26:50.000 So that's been the focus.
00:26:51.000 It's just changed the Texas House, changed the Court of Appeals.
00:26:55.000 And of course, they're still coming after me legally.
00:26:57.000 I have a trial coming up in April where they moved me out of my own Republican county to a Democratic county with Democratic judges and Democratic jury.
00:27:04.000 It's all a scam, but that's how it works in Texas.
00:27:07.000 Same thing's happening to Trump in New York and Georgia and every other place that they're trying to convict him of a crime.
00:27:07.000 And it's hot.
00:27:16.000 If President Trump offered you a cabinet position, would you potentially consider it or take it?
00:27:22.000 I mean, I don't know what he'd offer me, but I definitely consider I have tremendous respect for him.
00:27:22.000 Oh, I'd absolutely.
00:27:27.000 He's been, since I've got to know him within the first couple of months of his first administration, he's been nothing but generous to me.
00:27:36.000 And I have tremendous respect for what he accomplished.
00:27:40.000 In my lifetime, no one's accomplished more as president in the first four years.
00:27:44.000 And so, you know, if he asked, I'd definitely strongly consider anything he wanted me to do.
00:27:49.000 Very good.
00:27:50.000 Attorney General Paxton, keep on suing and keep on winning.
00:27:53.000 Thanks so much.
00:27:54.000 Appreciate it.
00:27:55.000 Hey, Charlie, thanks for all your help.
00:27:56.000 We appreciate it.
00:27:57.000 It was very important.
00:27:58.000 Thank you.
00:27:59.000 It played a small part.
00:27:59.000 We appreciate it.
00:28:00.000 Thank you.
00:28:03.000 For years, I've been talking about how our nation's public schools have been captured by progressive ideologues, especially true if you're a Christian family.
00:28:09.000 For those of you worried about the best educational path for your kids and grandkids, I want to tell you about how Turning Point Academy is working with the Herzog Foundation, how you at home can also benefit from it.
00:28:18.000 They have an online publication called The Lion, and also Making the Leap.
00:28:21.000 The Herzog Foundation offers a wide range of advice and information for Christian parents to make the best education decisions for your kids.
00:28:27.000 Go to Herzogfoundation.com.
00:28:28.000 That is Herzogfoundation.com.
00:28:30.000 So check it out right now, Herzogfoundation.com.
00:28:33.000 Portions of the Charlie Kirk show are brought to you in part by the Stanley M. Herzog Foundation.
00:28:37.000 That is Herzogfoundation.com.
00:28:42.000 We see the rioting.
00:28:44.000 We see the looting.
00:28:45.000 Petty theft is not even prosecuted if it's under $1,000 in San Francisco.
00:28:51.000 You can't walk a magnificent mile in Chicago without seeing police car after police car parked outside of the top retail stores.
00:29:00.000 But Congress is also stealing from you, and not just the taxes, not just inflation, but the debt and the deficit.
00:29:07.000 I remain morally clear on this.
00:29:09.000 It is one of the great failures of the modern political project that we have a $35 trillion debt.
00:29:15.000 It's completely unnecessary.
00:29:17.000 It is inexcusable.
00:29:19.000 It is absolutely a choice, a choice that we will not live within your means.
00:29:27.000 Since I turned 18, the national debt has increased by $20 trillion.
00:29:33.000 We are adding $1 trillion to the national debt every 100 days.
00:29:38.000 Both political parties are to blame for this.
00:29:40.000 Joe Biden is a reckless and terrible spender, the worst in American history.
00:29:45.000 But Republicans are no better with big war and big pharma and big ag.
00:29:50.000 We need serious cuts, and this 1% stuff is not going to take it.
00:29:53.000 Democrats have no concern about cutting spending.
00:29:56.000 And quite honestly, this is not a political winner.
00:29:59.000 Immigration, political winner.
00:30:00.000 But cutting spending, the American people want nothing to do with it.
00:30:04.000 There will be a reckoning.
00:30:06.000 There very well might also be a strategy or at least a shrugging of the shoulders that if Donald Trump were to win, the Democrats won't be thrilled, but at least they'll say, well, he's got to deal with this.
00:30:19.000 There is a cataclysmic economic apocalypse on the horizon.
00:30:26.000 I just don't know the timing.
00:30:27.000 The laws of economics, like the laws of gravity, can only be pushed up against so much.
00:30:33.000 Eventually, what goes up must come down.
00:30:38.000 $35 trillion that we do not have, $1 trillion every 100 days.
00:30:45.000 America spent 200 years growing into the richest nation ever.
00:30:49.000 We've taken half of a century squandering it.
00:30:53.000 It is morally indescribable, but it's connected with the moral decay across our country.
00:31:00.000 A country that doesn't prevent or protect kids from being trans, why would we protect our kids from not being debt slaves?
00:31:09.000 Protecting children is no longer a core American value.
00:31:13.000 It's not a core American value from having kids being groomed by a public school teacher, nor is it a core American value to make sure that we balance our budget in Congress every single year.
00:31:24.000 The protection of children and the passing down of our values, people just kind of shrug their shoulders.
00:31:30.000 Big spending Republicans and the entire Democrat Party, they want nothing to do with even getting close to balancing the budget.
00:31:39.000 The ancients understood that debt turns people into slaves.
00:31:42.000 This is why the Bible routinely promotes the forgiveness of debts.
00:31:45.000 It's called the Year of Jubilee.
00:31:47.000 In fact, it's one of the 613 laws of Judaism, is the forgiveness of debts after 50 years.
00:31:53.000 The Bible warns on dozens of occasions how debt will crush you.
00:31:58.000 If America is buried under infinite debts, we will no longer be a free country, period.
00:32:04.000 We will not be able to act freely.
00:32:05.000 Our debt holders will control us.
00:32:07.000 You will be slaves to inflation.
00:32:10.000 When I first started Turning Point USA, I warned about this.
00:32:14.000 In fact, it was actually more popular to talk about the debt back in 2012.
00:32:19.000 Nobody cares about it now.
00:32:20.000 Nobody.
00:32:21.000 I mean, you guys do, but I mean, nobody is that no more than 10 or 15% of the country is thinking about the debt.
00:32:28.000 But there will be a reckoning.
00:32:30.000 It is deteriorating our currency.
00:32:32.000 It is ruining our purchasing power.
00:32:34.000 I guess it's all fine if the stock market keeps on going up.
00:32:37.000 Inflation is directly correlated to the fiscal and monetary decisions of politicians in Washington, D.C., specifically fiscal.
00:32:46.000 They don't control monetary as much.
00:32:49.000 And so we have a choice.
00:32:50.000 And the choice that the Republican Party has made, and some Republicans are trying, and the choice that every Democrat has made is debt slaves for our kids.
00:33:00.000 When you see a child, you should say, you're a debt slave.
00:33:03.000 They will not inherit a freer country or a more prosperous country or a flourishing country if this continues.
00:33:10.000 We're getting emails.
00:33:11.000 Charlie, I apologize.
00:33:13.000 I apologize.
00:33:14.000 My generation failed.
00:33:16.000 It's almost too late.
00:33:18.000 There's 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
00:33:20.000 And we need some serious action.
00:33:22.000 But currently, Congress wants nothing to do with it.
00:33:25.000 We will borrow anywhere between $2.50 to $3 trillion this year.
00:33:32.000 And they want nothing to do with balancing the budget or preserving a country for your kids or grandkids.
