00:01:41.000 We'll talk about Jesus too.

00:01:42.000 But I'm going to talk about dating, marriage, and kind of the state of all of that.

00:02:09.000 But first, I want to say, you guys on the front line, starting Turning Point USA high school chapters, Starting Turning Point USA College chapters, you are on the front lines of saving this country.

00:02:20.000 We are happier.

00:02:21.000 We are joyful.

00:02:22.000 We love the nation.

00:02:24.000 And we're going to defeat the left.

00:02:25.000 It's just a matter of time.

00:02:26.000 We're going to win this country.

00:02:29.000 We're going to win.

00:02:32.000 And the energy in here is incredible.

00:02:33.000 So I was sitting at breakfast this morning and I would go to table by table and I'd say, How many of you are unhappy with the dating pool?

00:02:41.000 Raise your hand if you're unhappy with the dating pool.

00:02:44.000 Those of you not raising your hand, how many of you are in relationships?

00:02:47.000 Almost every hand goes up, right?

00:02:49.000 So I went to table by table, and people were saying similar things.

00:02:53.000 They said, You know, I just can't find a woman.

00:02:56.000 I just can't find a man. 1.00

00:02:58.000 That all people really care about is hookup culture.

00:03:01.000 All people really care about is immediate gratification.

00:03:05.000 And so I thought to myself, There needs to be a message delivered here at the Chapter Leadership Summit to men of what men need to do and to women what women need to do because the problem's on both sides.

00:03:16.000 And I'm not going to say one side more than the other.

00:03:18.000 Even though I have some personal opinions on that, but you'll try to be able to guess.

00:03:22.000 But more importantly, though, if we do not value the most important things, it should be God, the most important thing in your life.

00:03:29.000 Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, most important thing.

00:03:34.000 But then beyond that, it's getting married, having children, building families, leaving a legacy, doing big and great things.

00:03:42.000 And that goes for everybody in this room.

00:03:45.000 Right now, our generation, well, I'm a little bit older than you, but we're kind of in the younger demo.

00:03:52.000 We are the most suicidal generation in history, the most anxious generation in history, the most medicated generation in history, and there's something seriously wrong where we are the least married generation, and also we are less likely to have babies than any other generation prior to us.

00:04:13.000 We have more comforts, we have more cell phones, we have more things at our disposal, and yet we are having less children, and we are literally not repopulating the species.

00:04:24.000 So, there's a lot of things going on here.

00:04:26.000 The first and foremost is we do not value the ultimate thing.

00:04:30.000 And the ultimate thing should be loving God, loving people, and raising children in a society that follows God's commands against the culture, not in consistency with the culture, to stand on my opinion, on eternal truths, fight for the country, fight for our civilization, and then also understand that you, especially as men, but women as well, you are obligated to do difficult and hard things.

00:04:56.000 The West was built, our nation was built on delayed gratification, not instant gratification.

00:05:03.000 That maybe I'm not gonna go do what feels good in the moment.

00:05:06.000 I'm going to forsake what feels good and I'm going to parlay that into the future.

00:05:13.000 Now let's talk about this.

00:05:14.000 So the dating pool is a complete catastrophe.

00:05:17.000 Men are unhappy with women, women are unhappy with men.

00:05:20.000 And you're both wrong.

00:05:21.000 Let's start with men.

00:05:22.000 Men, very simple. 1.00

00:05:24.000 If you are spending an inordinate amount of time staring at screens, Playing video games and not being active and productive, that is deeply unattractive to women. 1.00

00:05:38.000 If you are addicted to pornography or watching porn at all, stop doing that. 0.99

00:05:43.000 If you are doing drugs and smoking weed, stop doing that.

00:05:48.000 And I'll even go a step further.

00:05:54.000 If you want to drink alcohol, that's fine.

00:05:55.000 If you want to do that, that's fine.

00:05:57.000 But if you want to be a high performer, Donald Trump doesn't drink alcohol, Tucker Carlson doesn't drink alcohol.

00:06:03.000 I don't drink alcohol.

00:06:04.000 It will set you back.

00:06:06.000 Mornings will be a little bit more sluggish.

00:06:08.000 You'll forget stuff.

00:06:09.000 Nothing good happens after midnight while both parties are drunk.

00:06:14.000 So if you want to have a life of ease, go keep drinking.

00:06:17.000 But if you want to go do heroic and great stuff, maybe it's time for you to battle your flesh and not just always get drunk every single night and say, you know what?

00:06:26.000 No, instead of drinking alcohol, I'm going to go to the gym.

00:06:29.000 Instead of drinking alcohol, I'm going to hang out with friends and talk about deeper and more purposeful things.

00:06:33.000 I'm going to go to a Bible study instead of a bar.

00:06:37.000 Now, Men, one of the most unattractive things that women tell us that they find in men is that young men have no self control. 0.86

00:06:54.000 I'm going to do the whole other side of this in a second, so you better be ready.

00:06:58.000 They're like, oh, yeah.

00:07:01.000 It's going to be an equal opportunity offender.

00:07:04.000 Young men, you need to have a destination in your life. 0.92

00:07:07.000 If you are on a date, And a young lady says, Well, what do you do? 0.94

00:07:10.000 And they're like, I kind of meander.

00:07:13.000 And I go on DraftKings and I own crypto.

00:07:25.000 Instead, it should be I'm studying this because of this. 0.98

00:07:28.000 I'm going to work for this person.

00:07:30.000 I want to be able to make this much money by this period of time to provide for a family.

00:07:33.000 And I don't care how hard it gets, but I'll provide for you and provide for the kids.

00:07:37.000 And I'll be the protector and the covering over the family.

00:07:39.000 Follow me because I'm going to lead us.

00:07:41.000 That's what they want to hear. 1.00

00:07:48.000 And let me tell you, there are voices out there that say, oh, young men, all modern women are garbage and just use them for sex and just use them for pleasure. 1.00

00:07:59.000 And I'm going to tell you, you cannot be a Christian and believe that. 0.97

00:08:03.000 Are there problems with modern women? 1.00

00:08:05.000 Yes. 1.00

00:08:05.000 But our Lord and Savior came to this earth because God could have just teleported Jesus Christ right onto the earth. 1.00

00:08:13.000 But instead, our Lord and Savior came through a womb of a woman.

00:08:17.000 Christianity values women in a proper biblical context.

00:08:20.000 So, some of the narrative that I hear at times for men that say, Oh, I hate all women and they're not worthy of respect and honor, God used women all throughout the scriptures, whether it be Ruth or Esther, whether it be Deborah.

00:08:33.000 And unfortunately, this is lost in a lot of the angst that young men have that they'll say, I'm just done with all women.

00:08:39.000 First of all, even if it's hard, maybe you should work to improve your own life.

00:08:44.000 To make yourself more attractive to the woman that you want to one day find. 0.52

00:08:49.000 And there needs to be, the current modern state is that they want men to be women and women to be men.

00:08:58.000 We know that.

00:08:59.000 And they want men to kind of walk around in a beta state, kind of walking around in their sweatpants all the time.

00:09:05.000 They haven't showered in three days.

00:09:07.000 They sleep in till three o'clock in the afternoon.

00:09:09.000 Nothing about that is interesting or attractive.

00:09:12.000 Men, you know what your call to action is?

00:09:14.000 Go do something hard.

00:09:16.000 Go do something difficult.

00:09:17.000 That means go wake up at 5 o'clock in the morning.

00:09:20.000 Go for a run.

00:09:21.000 And I'm going to go there.

00:09:22.000 Men, there's no excuse to be overweight. 1.00

00:09:25.000 It's not interesting or attractive to women. 1.00

00:09:27.000 Seriously. 1.00

00:09:29.000 Go to the gym. 1.00

00:09:31.000 Stop eating so much crap. 1.00

00:09:35.000 Fast for a couple of days.

00:09:38.000 Eat a steak, not a soy protein latte.

00:09:48.000 Can make yourself five to ten percent more physically fit.

00:09:54.000 Everybody has their challenges or their struggles.

00:09:56.000 Some people have metabolisms where they eat three pizzas and it disappears.

00:10:01.000 Every there is no excuse, though.

00:10:02.000 You can make yourself ten percent more attractive in this room.

00:10:06.000 You can go to the gym, you can fast, you can go on a better diet.

00:10:09.000 You could decide, you know what, you know, what's another good thing about not drinking alcohol?

00:10:12.000 A lot of calories that you're not no longer putting in your body.

00:10:15.000 A lot. 0.60

00:10:18.000 And for men, make yourself so desirable.

00:10:22.000 That women want to be with you.

00:10:25.000 What does desirable look like?

00:10:26.000 It doesn't mean you have to go look like a supermodel or an actor. 1.00

00:10:32.000 They want someone that will say, you know what, let's go to church together. 1.00

00:10:38.000 Let's not just go to some degenerate kind of environment. 0.86

00:10:43.000 Do you know one of the things that women want more than anything else is they want the confidence and the security that when life gets difficult, And when life starts falling apart, that man will lead them towards security and stability.

00:11:00.000 Because deep down, women have a very well built and finely tuned God given instinct that they'll be able to tell in a man when the bullets start firing, is this guy gonna protect me and protect my kids?

00:11:11.000 And is he gonna provide or is he gonna run for the hills?

00:11:14.000 And for you as the man, you need to be able to demonstrate that.

00:11:18.000 And it's in ways you might not imagine.

00:11:20.000 And let me just give you some other practical advice. 0.56

00:12:22.000 Let's be honest, we gotta raise our game in this culture.

00:12:26.000 We are constantly around one.

00:12:27.000 They say, oh, just go place another bet on this running back to run 100 yards.

00:12:35.000 That's all a bunch of BS.

00:14:51.000 But if you want to go be a boy, go do that.

00:14:58.000 And no self restraint whatsoever just to follow your flesh.

00:15:05.000 Mature people say no to what feels good and they pursue what is good.

00:15:11.000 And far too often on college campuses, we have these grown boys.

00:15:14.000 And I'm talking to a lot of you in this audience, and it's time for you guys to up your game.

00:15:18.000 It's time for you guys to stop doing just what feels good all the time.

00:15:21.000 Oh, yeah, we're just gonna go get, you know, blackout drunk till 2 a.m. and hook up with some stranger.

00:15:25.000 No, no, no.

00:15:26.000 If you wanna stay in the lower standard, A miserable cycle of debt and suffering and depression, lack of community, go do that.

00:15:35.000 Instead, on a Saturday night, say, you know what?

00:15:36.000 I'm going to hang out with some friends that are not going to drink, are not going to engage with this stuff.

00:15:42.000 And then maybe on Sunday morning, I'm going to go to church or I'm going to go to mass.

00:15:45.000 And then I'm going to go work out and then I'm going to study.

00:15:47.000 Who will be happier?

00:15:49.000 You know I'm right.

00:15:50.000 Who will be happier come 12 high noon on Sunday?

00:15:54.000 The person that went crazy, full of regrets, the person that went out late at night, trying to find the next 10 second orgasm, or the person that went to go after something holy or went after something divine?

00:16:08.000 And if you are not, the final thing, I'll say this to the men, and then we'll go to the women's side, which is you need to be consuming information, content, and community.

00:16:17.000 Information, content, and community around you that lifts you up, does not tear you down.

00:16:21.000 You are an average of the five people you spend the most time with.

00:16:25.000 List those people.

00:16:26.000 Who are the friends around you?

00:16:27.000 Are they lifting you up?

00:16:28.000 Or are they just talking about quick, quick, easy gratification?

00:16:33.000 Because guess what?

00:16:34.000 The fun will end at one time.

00:16:36.000 Eventually, you're going to get out of college, and the graduation ceremony will be underway, and you're handed that useless diploma.

00:16:42.000 And you're then going to have to enter the world.

00:16:45.000 And all of a sudden, if you're like 20 pounds more overweight, but you have a lot of good memories with the buddies, because you guys got a lot really drunk, great, terrific, okay?

00:16:52.000 The world is brutal right now.

00:16:54.000 It's tough.

00:16:55.000 Things are expensive. 1.00

00:16:56.000 It's hard to find wives. 0.85

00:16:57.000 It's hard to build children.

00:16:59.000 It's hard to raise children, I should say.

00:17:55.000 Oh, you were applauding when I was bashing men, but when all of a sudden I'm criticizing women, you can't do that. 0.76

00:18:07.000 It is unattractive to men when you're going around and you're bragging about how many other men you're sleeping with. 1.00

00:18:16.000 Who, who, who is willing to submit to a husband under the covering of Almighty God?

00:18:33.000 And if you have had your belief or your mindset so muddied, so polluted by modern culture, and you call yourself a Christian, I'm going to challenge you on that. 0.76

00:18:44.000 Because in a marriage, you're going to submit to your husband, and you should submit to your husband.

00:18:48.000 And by the way, the husband has an unbelievable responsibility to then submit to God and to make sure that marriage and that family is under a godly covering.

00:18:58.000 Now, some women in this audience are like, nope, not for me.

00:19:01.000 I'm going to make my own income, I'm going to find a man, and we're going to be egalitarian. 1.00

00:19:05.000 That's fine.

00:19:06.000 But I'm going to just push back.

00:19:07.000 That's not God's design for marriage.

00:19:09.000 The man is the head of the household. 0.54

00:19:11.000 That is as the Bible prescribes it.

00:19:13.000 The Bible has prescribed it very, and has worked for thousands of years.

00:19:16.000 And let's just ask the question is it working, this idea of egalitarianism?

00:19:21.000 Divorce rates are nearly 50%.

00:19:23.000 Depression is on the rise.

00:19:24.000 Anxiety is on the rise.

00:19:26.000 Because deep down, deep down, and I know this is true, deep down, the ladies, even in this room that play the girl boss thing on Instagram, deep down, you're begging for a man to lead you.

00:19:37.000 Deep down, you are begging for a man to provide for you. 0.98

00:19:43.000 You want it.

00:19:44.000 You might be afraid to say it.

00:19:45.000 You might be afraid to articulate it.

00:19:48.000 But deep down, you want your metaphorical Prince Charming to come.

00:19:52.000 So when he does come, be willing, be open.

00:19:57.000 And for ladies, you have a lot more bargaining power than you might think.

00:20:00.000 I was asking at the table after table after table, I said, why is it that young women, because here's the thing it is not new that men want sex a lot.

00:20:10.000 What is new is that women are giving it to them. 1.00

00:20:14.000 That is a failed feminist project. 1.00

00:20:16.000 Why are women doing it so much? 1.00

00:20:19.000 Well, the reason, honestly, is that what I heard from this morning women want love and they're seeking it in that way. 0.99

00:20:33.000 And all of a sudden, if the godly, conservative, attractive, well put together women on a college campus start saying, nope, actually, you have to date me seriously. 0.59

00:20:50.000 All of a sudden, men are going to be like, well, forget all this.

00:20:53.000 Then men are going to start aiming themselves towards you.

00:20:56.000 And when they do, you need to ask the tough questions, which is can you control yourself?

00:21:02.000 Are you, all the things I talk about with men.

00:21:05.000 And on the same side, everybody, for young ladies, there is this toxicity that is infected.

00:21:12.000 Because everyone says toxic masculinity, there is toxic masculinity. 1.00

00:21:16.000 Feminism within the ranks of the dating pool. 1.00

00:21:19.000 And it is toxic.

00:21:22.000 Which is, you do not have to be a man.

00:21:28.000 You don't have to present yourself as a man.

00:21:31.000 Embrace your femininity. 0.95

00:21:33.000 Allow the man to open the door for you, allow him to pay for the first check. 0.95

00:21:37.000 In fact, even more than that, you should expect that. 0.99

00:21:42.000 And young ladies, I'll just be very honest though, that the. 0.99

00:21:47.000 The bitterness that so many young women espouse towards young men, that's the reason why a lot of young women cannot find partners.

00:21:57.000 And I'll be very honest, for the young ladies in this room, how many of you say having a family is more important than having a career?

00:22:04.000 Okay, let me just speak to you the truth.

00:22:06.000 If you are not married by the age of 30, you only have a 50% chance of having children.

00:22:12.000 If you do not have kids by the age of 30, only 50% chance.

00:22:14.000 Now, in college, they'll be like, you could freeze your eggs, you could wait for yourself.

00:22:17.000 If your top priority is family, then your top priority should be family right now.

00:22:21.000 Should we be finding a husband here at CLS or the Student Action Summit?

00:22:25.000 Go find a husband. 0.92

00:22:28.000 Why are you wasting your time?

00:22:32.000 The men are like, finally, hallelujah.

00:48:51.000 Are you a sleeper in or are you an early riser?

00:48:55.000 Is it okay to smoke marijuana?

00:48:57.000 Are we going to have dessert a lot?

00:48:58.000 Are we going to be okay to kind of just be a slovenly couple or do we really want to care about our fitness and how we look?

00:49:03.000 This is important stuff that you think you probably know about your spouse that you don't.

00:49:08.000 That needs to be said audibly and written down, and a third party needs to coach you through that.

00:49:13.000 And all of a sudden, you know, they'll say this, and he'll be like, Oh, yeah, it's perfectly fine that I smoke a cigar.

00:49:17.000 You smoke a cigar?

00:49:20.000 Big, right?

00:49:21.000 And so you go through that early and you figure out some framework because here's the key premarital counseling will give you the framework to refer to when things start to fall apart because they will.

00:49:33.000 And if you didn't do that premarital work, there's no framework, and everyone acts surprised.

00:49:38.000 And the other one, which I think is really important.

00:49:41.000 Does your spouse have male friends?

00:49:45.000 If you are marrying a man and he does not have close male friends, that is a red flag.

00:49:49.000 I'm not trying to break up your marriage, by the way, but it is critical if a man does not, and then meet his friends.

00:49:57.000 And for men out there, same with your future wife.

00:50:00.000 Does she have close female friends and meet her friends?

00:50:03.000 Because let me tell you right now when things go bad, she's going to start spending time with her friends, and you want to know who they are and what their character is.

00:53:40.000 And it turns out he was doing it in a predatory way, finding people with depression and just getting them up for assisted physician suicide.

00:53:48.000 Why do we stand against it?

00:53:49.000 Well, in a culture of life, absent you taking another life, because I am actually pro death penalty because you deserve it, because the Bible commands it.

00:53:58.000 But outside of that, just because you have depression, that is not a reason to take your life.

00:54:03.000 And I know that people suffer from it, but we do not believe that you just press the escape hatch on life when things are difficult or hard.

00:54:10.000 That life is a precious gift from God.

00:54:12.000 So people will say, well, it's their choice, it's bodily autonomy.

00:54:15.000 What we find is that these clinicians are literal predators.

00:54:20.000 They will go after poor people that are suffering and just offer them this, and they have so much potentiality.

00:54:26.000 Last point I'll make on this there was a young lady, I think she was in the Netherlands or in Sweden.

00:54:30.000 She was like 31 years old.

00:54:32.000 Do you guys remember this?

00:54:33.000 She was on TikTok about a year and a half ago.

00:54:36.000 And it went super viral, and she was like, I'm depressed, I've tried everything, I'm going to do physician assisted suicide.

00:54:44.000 I'm sorry, there's something deeply wrong with modernity and the West.

00:54:48.000 If a 31 year old goes and kills herself with physician assisted suicide, and guess what?

00:54:54.000 We already have a suicide epidemic.

00:54:59.000 The problem is not that it's too easy to kill yourself, it's that we've not given people the right reasons to live.

00:55:05.000 And everybody, if you want to summarize modernity, it is a death cult.

01:00:04.000 First of all, should I, as a Christian, should I try to persuade him or convince him?

01:00:10.000 To pursue American citizenship, and second of all, how do I?

01:00:15.000 Yeah, so from a Christian perspective, citizenship is not irrelevant.

01:00:21.000 So the people of Israel had different laws and customs than those outside of the nation of Israel.

01:00:26.000 Even Paul, when he was under persecution, he invoked his Roman citizenship.

01:00:32.000 So that's a good thing to tell your friend, being like, even when Paul was up against all the opposition, that is why Paul was beheaded, he was not crucified.

01:00:46.000 We get the whole concept of citizenship from the Bible.

01:01:43.000 It sounds like a somewhat of a modern socially left view that he has.
