00:00:13.000 What the heck is the CIA, which is supposed to be operating on foreign targets and foreign adversaries, doing with fingers.
00:00:21.000 What are they doing at J6?
00:00:23.000 Why is that a thing?
00:00:24.000 We also talk about his lawsuit against Fannie Willis and more.
00:00:28.000 We then welcome Todd Bensman from the Center for Immigration Studies, and we talk about Haiti, barbecue, cannibalism.
00:00:35.000 What are they going to do with this flotilla that's amassing in the Caribbean, headed for Florida?
00:00:40.000 What's going to happen?
00:00:41.000 Is it Texas 2.0?
00:00:43.000 So much to discuss and unpack with Todd Benceman.

00:01:56.000 Welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show, and thanks so much for making the time for us.
00:01:59.000 Hey, Andrew, thank you for having me.
00:02:00.000 Great to be with you.
00:02:02.000 Yeah, great to have you.
00:02:03.000 We've been working with your team to get you on with Charlie.
00:02:07.000 I just so happened to get the honor of having you myself today while Charlie's out.
00:02:11.000 So you have a...
00:02:12.000 You're good enough.
00:02:15.000 That'll do, huh?
00:02:19.000 You're not the backup.
00:02:20.000 You're not the backup, Tom.
00:02:22.000 Thank you.
00:02:22.000 You guys are doing fantastic work.
00:02:22.000 Thank you.
00:02:24.000 You have actually a number of different stories that I'd be interested in getting into with you.
00:02:27.000 But the one that caught our eye just as of yesterday, actually, was this bombshell that the CIA now has its fingerprints on J6.
00:02:38.000 I mean, it's a story with multiple layers, and the further we seem to peel it back, the more we discover.
00:02:44.000 Tom, what have you and your great organization discovered about the CIA's involvement on J6?
00:02:50.000 You know, there's all sorts of weirdness with it, right?
00:02:52.000 You know, these were text messages, not from the CIA, but these were ATF text messages that we have obtained after almost a year plus of waiting and suing.
00:03:04.000 And they show that they had a CIA bomb text, a CIA bomb text down.
00:03:11.000 It looks like at the DNC and maybe where there were other pipe bombs, I guess at the RNC as well.
00:03:17.000 And then there were dog teams on standby associated with the CIA.
00:03:21.000 And so this is the first time I'm aware of, maybe others out there have heard of this before, but that the CIA was involved in response to the January 6th events.
00:03:31.000 And it raises a series of questions.
00:03:35.000 Why was the CIA involved?
00:03:36.000 Typically, they don't get involved in domestic issues.
00:03:40.000 Was there a foreign intelligence component that required their presence?
00:03:45.000 Were they on standby before January 6th?
00:03:48.000 Were they part of this spy operation against Americans that we knew was taking place by the deep state?
00:03:56.000 And what else were they investigating related to January 6th?
00:03:59.000 Is this the full extent of their involvement?
00:04:01.000 And these are additional questions that need to be pursued.
00:04:04.000 Obviously, they weren't, we didn't get much information on this, no information on this at all from the Pelosi January 6th committee.
00:04:12.000 And frankly, the Republicans haven't done much in January 6th either.
00:04:15.000 Yeah, and Tom, I think you hit the nail on the head.
00:04:19.000 My first thought when I saw this story was, what the heck is the CIA doing involved in J6?
00:04:24.000 This is an Intel agency that is supposed to be focusing on foreign adversaries.
00:04:29.000 It's not supposed to have its purview in domestic affairs.
00:04:32.000 It's more, you would think, the FBI, which we also know has a ton of fingerprints on J6.
00:04:39.000 I mean, we have Representative Clay Higgins, who's been doing a lot of great work on this, Lautermil and others, where we're finding out that, yeah, maybe there was as many as 200 FBI agents involved, and maybe more when you count informants, that were also, Clay Higgins has also suggested that they were involved in group chats before J6, trying to potentially incite violence or other activity on that day that would have gone against the rule of law and peaceful assembly and all those things.
00:05:07.000 So, you know, when you look at this story in its totality, do you see an operation that was, let's just say, anti-Trump afoot?
00:05:17.000 I mean, you know, I don't want to be conspiratorial.
00:05:20.000 Was this just base incompetence with a bunch of agencies sort of not knowing what the left hand and the right hand were doing?
00:05:26.000 Or do you see something coordinated, Tom?
00:05:29.000 And I know I don't want you to get out of your skis, but it's not something a lot of other people haven't observed.
00:05:35.000 What do you think?
00:05:37.000 Well, if you had said two days ago before this disclosure that the CIA was involved in the response to January 6, you would have been censored, right?
00:05:48.000 And now it's confirmed through text messages that we had to uncover through a FOIA lawsuit.
00:05:53.000 None of this was voluntary.
00:05:55.000 So I think all sorts of other questions follow from that.
00:05:57.000 What was their role generally?
00:05:59.000 What was the role of other federal agencies?
00:06:02.000 We knew, and we've known for some time, thanks in part to other FOIA requests we filed and lawsuits, that everyone who was anyone had a heads up, that there was going to be a significant crab that day.
00:06:14.000 The security was poor.
00:06:18.000 And the question is, why was it poor?
00:06:20.000 Was it purposeful and competence?
00:06:23.000 And I think it was a measure of both.
00:06:24.000 I think the left and like the Pelosi gang and the DC government didn't want a big show of force because they thought it would be seen as political in the sense of helping Donald Trump.
00:06:41.000 And, you know, and frankly, I think they thought the left was going to beat up a bunch of Trumpers and they didn't want the cops to get in the way.
00:06:49.000 Interesting.
00:06:50.000 Yeah, you know, you think of Occam's razor, you know, in a situation like this, the most obvious answer is usually the right answer.
00:07:00.000 I think there's multiple factors playing into this that are all really fascinating.
00:07:04.000 And then the whole pipe bomb thing.
00:07:07.000 I mean, this is what your current investigation is looking into.
00:07:10.000 Your FOIA requests have gotten to.
00:07:12.000 It's, you know, who planted them?
00:07:14.000 Why was there not more urgency?
00:07:16.000 That the timeline doesn't make up.
00:07:17.000 Darren Beattie's been fantastic on that story.
00:07:19.000 We've had him on to discuss it.
00:07:22.000 I think it's all really confusing.
00:07:25.000 I think to know where the conspiracy begins and ends and where incompetence begins and ends.
00:07:31.000 There's another piece of concern is that there's been zero official interest in any of these questions, all of which are legitimate questions.
00:07:40.000 Because as you point out, there could be legitimate answers to all of it.
00:07:42.000 I mean, I tend to think the pipe bomb scenario is just incompetence by security forces.
00:07:50.000 And yeah, the lack of response, you know, we're presuming that the Secret Service and the U.S. Capitol Police, you know, we're supposed to believe all their press releases about their competence and expertise and training.
00:08:04.000 And, you know, my experience is these agencies are as poorly run as every other federal program we're concerned about.
00:08:14.000 But, you know, DOJ isn't going to tell us the truth.
00:08:17.000 The Biden administration, they've got a...
00:08:19.000 I mean, their whole theory of retaining power depends on a certain story and narrative about January 6th.
00:08:27.000 And Congress is compromised because they're partly responsible for what happened.
00:08:31.000 And then you've got the failure of leadership by the House Republicans to pursue January 6th once they got power in the House.
00:08:41.000 And, you know, everything they're doing is a little bit too late.
00:08:44.000 Yeah, no, I tend to agree with you on that.
00:08:46.000 And, you know, I'll never forget, Tom, Charlie tweeted out something, I mean, it must have been a year and a half ago, maybe even longer, basically on the fact that Congress or that Donald Trump had offered to approve 10,000 National Guard troops.
00:09:03.000 And then that was fact-checked on Instagram and on Facebook.
00:09:07.000 I mean, all the fact-checker orgs came after us.
00:09:11.000 Everything was censored.
00:09:12.000 And now we find out that that was actually true, that he did say, hey, if you want them, I'll approve them.
00:09:17.000 You have to request them.
00:09:18.000 And that request never came through.
00:09:21.000 So the whole thing stinks to high heaven.
00:09:23.000 And then you've got the J6 committee, which didn't disclose some of this evidence, including the piece about the 10,000 National Guard troops.
00:09:31.000 And they've been hiding everything, destroying evidence.
00:09:34.000 I don't think that this story deserves or gets nearly enough attention.
00:09:39.000 And a lot of people say, we don't want to look backwards, we want to look forward, stop litigating the past.
00:09:43.000 But this is so telling about the way Washington operates.
00:09:47.000 And Tom, you know this better than just about anybody of just how corrupt and how incompetent.
00:09:53.000 You're absolutely right.
00:09:54.000 It's a combination of two.
00:09:55.000 Yeah, we're not supposed to look backwards, but they want to put dozens, hundreds, thousands of people in jail over it.
00:10:01.000 They're trying to jail Trump over it.
00:10:04.000 So they just don't want us to look behind their theory of the case, their theory of January 6th.
00:10:12.000 And it was a complicated day.
00:10:13.000 They say it was the most significant event since 9-11.
00:10:18.000 Yet if 9-11 was investigated this way, we'd still have the airlines shut down.
00:10:29.000 Yeah, no, you're 100% right.
00:10:31.000 It's been a total farce.
00:10:32.000 And I wish we had a more rigorous pursuit of the truth here.
00:10:37.000 And thankfully, there's organizations like yours that are doing the actual work of getting the information and the truth out.
00:10:44.000 And these FOIA requests are a big part of that.
00:10:48.000 Hey, everybody.
00:10:49.000 There is an eagerly awaited release of Cabrini in theaters on March 8th, International Woman's Day.
00:10:54.000 It's an amazing film.
00:10:55.000 I saw it the other day.
00:10:56.000 It is incredible.
00:10:57.000 It's like the godfather, but better.
00:10:59.000 From Angel Studios in Alejandro, Monteverde, award-winning director of Sound of Freedom, comes the powerful true story of Francesca Cabrini, an Italian immigrant who arrives in New York City in 1889 and is greeted by disease, crime, and impoverished children.
00:11:13.000 Cabrini is not merely a movie.
00:11:15.000 It is a tribute to the spirit of women everywhere.
00:11:17.000 It tells the story of a trailblazer, a visionary whose tireless dedication to serving others transcend boundaries and inspire generations.
00:11:24.000 On this International Woman's Day, we can honor Cabrini's enduring legacy by celebrating the countless contributions of women throughout history.
00:11:31.000 Mark your calendars for March 8th and join me in theaters to experience the extraordinary journey of Mother Cabrini, a celebration of courage, compassion, and the triumph of the human spirit.
00:11:43.000 Tom, it's kind of related to what we were just talking about, January 6th Committee.
00:11:47.000 You're suing Fannie Willis for communications with special counsel Jack Smith and the January 6th Committee.
00:11:54.000 What is going on here?
00:11:55.000 Because this is something we've been hot on on this show.
00:11:58.000 The coordination, the collusion.
00:12:00.000 How connected are these various lawfare attempts against Trump?
00:12:04.000 Well, you know, we had asked for these documents, relatively simple requests, because I know, as you're saying, everyone's interested in it.
00:12:11.000 What have they been doing with Jack Smith or the Pelosi January 6th Committee?
00:12:16.000 Was that all part of a conspiracy or collusion or just what was being done here?
00:12:22.000 And they told us they didn't have any documents.
00:12:24.000 So we asked Fannie Willis's office for this.
00:12:26.000 They said, we don't have anything.
00:12:28.000 We look, we don't have anything.
00:12:29.000 And then Congress just not too long ago released a letter that Fanny had signed to Betty Thompson, who run the January 6th committee for Pelosi.
00:12:40.000 So how does that comport with them telling us they had no documents?
00:12:43.000 Were they hiding documents?
00:12:44.000 Did they miss this in the files?
00:12:46.000 I doubt it.
00:12:47.000 And so now we're in federal court.
00:12:49.000 We sued Fannie Willis, not in federal court, but in state court.
00:12:52.000 We sued Fannie Willis.
00:12:54.000 We sued Fulton County.
00:12:55.000 And we want the documents.
00:12:57.000 What communications did they have with the politicized January 6th Committee and the politicized Jack Smith investigation?
00:13:05.000 Yeah, no, I think it's a I'm going to play a clip here, and apologies, going to suck up a little bit of our time here.
00:13:10.000 But 112, this is Newt Gingrich on this show saying that he was getting word from D.C. that there was collusion going on with Fannie Willis in the White House counsel's office.
00:13:23.000 Go ahead and play cut 112.
00:13:24.000 That I am told, this is hearsay, but I am told by a reliable source, that Friday evening, somebody from Washington called the District Attorney in Atlanta and said, you have to indict on Monday.
00:13:36.000 We have to cover up all of the mistakes we just made with Weiss.
00:13:41.000 And she said, apparently, my jurors aren't coming back till Tuesday.
00:13:45.000 And they said, you didn't hear me.
00:13:46.000 You have to indict on Monday.
00:13:49.000 And she said, well, they're not going to get here before noon.
00:13:52.000 They said, it doesn't matter.
00:13:53.000 She said, this means it's going to be eight or nine or 10 o'clock at night.
00:13:56.000 Said, it doesn't matter.
00:13:58.000 We need the news media shifting.
00:14:00.000 Who made that phone call?
00:14:02.000 We don't know.
00:14:04.000 And I'm telling you up front, this is hearsay, but it's from a person who has remarkably good.
00:14:09.000 I totally believe it, though, because that would explain why they leaked and they messed up on the clerk document, why she was exhausted and why they had the 11 p.m. press conference, Mr. Speaker.
00:14:18.000 All right, Tom Fitton, you hear what Newt is saying there.
00:14:22.000 It sort of ties into what you're talking about, not only with the J6 committee, not only with this whole weaponized DOJ, the collusion, but also the special counsel.
00:14:32.000 You heard that they screwed up with the special counsel.
00:14:34.000 You're now suing for the transcripts of those interviews with Robert Hur, am I correct?
00:14:41.000 So you got like your hand in multiple pieces of this, Tom.
00:14:44.000 Oh, yeah.
00:14:47.000 I mean, we're investigating everything, I half jokingly say.
00:14:52.000 Of course, they released a transcript since we sued.
00:14:56.000 You're going to take a little bit of credit for it.
00:14:57.000 We will.
00:14:58.000 Yeah, you should.
00:14:59.000 But, you know, is there a video, an audio of the video of what happened?
00:15:02.000 I think that would be very educational to see Biden's demeanor and how he answered these questions live, because the transcript doesn't, it gives you a good part of the story, but not the entire story, which is why he was recorded.
00:15:18.000 At least it's been reported.
00:15:19.000 So what would be the reason for not giving us the video or audio?
00:15:22.000 I'm not sure.
00:15:24.000 But we're going to fight it out in federal court.
00:15:26.000 Yeah, good for you.
00:15:27.000 But you heard what Newt said there.
00:15:29.000 Speaker Gingrich said they screwed up on the special counsel appointment.
00:15:35.000 And maybe it was a simple political PR miscalculation that they were reacting to and they wanted to switch the momentum back and get back on the offense.
00:15:46.000 What do you do?
00:15:47.000 You suppose that there was collusion that this hearsay Newt was hearing about, are you seeing evidence as you're digging into these?
00:15:54.000 I mean, this is obviously why you're pursuing Fannie Willis.
00:15:57.000 And you saw Nathan Wade actually had taken trips to billing for communication with the White House.
00:16:05.000 What do you suspect we're going to find as you dig, look under all these rocks, Tom?
00:16:10.000 I think Newt's on to something there, and there are always many reasons why something is done, including the abuse of Trump.
00:16:18.000 Obviously, Trump is a threat.
00:16:20.000 They need to abuse him, keep his supporters in line by making them nervous that they'll get prosecuted too.
00:16:27.000 But also, the abuses of Trump by the Justice Department and these other allies like in New York and Fulton County serve to distract and protect and keep the DOJ busy and the public distracted from the criminality of folks like Joe Biden.
00:16:42.000 In 2016, it was Hillary Clinton.
00:16:45.000 In 2020, it was the Obama gang with the spying on Trump that was disclosed.
00:16:50.000 So by targeting Trump, they're targeting their political opponent and at the same time protecting their own.
00:16:58.000 Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch.
00:17:00.000 I thank you, sir, for all your great work.
00:17:02.000 Thank you for making the time.
00:17:05.000 Okay, Kirk fans, I need you to stop and pay attention to this.
00:17:09.000 If you deal with exhaustion, brain fog, mood swings, or food cravings, if you're constantly getting sick or simply lack the zeal you used to have in life, then I have some news for you.
00:17:18.000 While back, I found a liquid supplement called Strong Cell, and it changed my health in a very profound way.
00:17:24.000 I take it every single day.
00:17:26.000 Look, I knew I had to partner with them.
00:17:28.000 I did the research.
00:17:29.000 Google and look up online what happens when you mix NADH with CoQ10 and marine collagen.
00:17:35.000 It's simple.
00:17:36.000 Every area of your body has cells.
00:17:38.000 So if your cells are healthier, then you will also be healthier.
00:17:41.000 You don't have to take my word for it.
00:17:43.000 Listen to one of these testimonials.
00:17:44.000 After taking Strong Cell for six weeks, I found improvement in many areas, less shoulder pain, improved mental clarity, increased natural energy, and so much more.
00:17:51.000 I'm thankful that Charlie Kirk recommended this to his listeners.
00:17:54.000 Rebecca says, I absolutely love Strong Cell.
00:17:57.000 At first, I didn't think it would make much of a difference for my chronic fatigue, depression, and anxiety, but I thought I'd give it a chance.
00:18:02.000 I've tried to find depression meds for 10 years, and since you strong cell, I'm feeling better than I ever have on depression medication.
00:18:10.000 Customer for life, thank you, Charlie Kirk, for recommending this product.
00:18:13.000 So there it is.
00:18:14.000 You've heard from me directly and some of the users who have seen their lives changed by Strong Cell.
00:18:19.000 I personally recommend taking it every day for at least 30 days.

00:19:00.000 All right, Todd Bensman, thank you for joining the show.
00:19:03.000 There is so much to discuss here with Haiti.
00:19:06.000 Haiti, by the way, Charlie tweeted something out about, you know, the Haitian invasion.
00:19:09.000 There was a briefing before Congress, and the clip is like at 3 million views.
00:19:15.000 This is a story that fascinates people for a lot of different reasons, mainly because Haiti's kind of a mystery, I think, to Americans.
00:19:22.000 We just know it's messed up.
00:19:24.000 We know the Clintons have a hand in it, or at least in its history.
00:19:28.000 Why don't we start there?
00:19:29.000 And you have a great new piece about how we're at the precipice of a massive new refugee crisis with Haiti.
00:19:37.000 But can you just tell us about the state of Haiti?
00:19:40.000 Why is it messed up?
00:19:42.000 What's going on there?
00:19:43.000 Why do we need to be concerned?
00:19:45.000 Well, the current failure of Haiti really begins in September 2021 when we had the Haitian migrant camp crisis in Del Rio, Texas.
00:19:57.000 I think a lot of people remember that, 17,000 under the bridge there in Texas.
00:20:03.000 The way that they liquidated that camp was the Biden administration reached out and killed, I mean, a stake through the heart of imminent democratic elections for Haiti in order to install a dictator who would accept deportations from that migrant camp.
00:20:26.000 So there were all these plans in place.
00:20:30.000 They were two months away from elections, and the Biden administration shut them down so that they could get somebody who would take deportations from Texas.
00:20:41.000 They did the deportations from Texas and left that guy in there.
00:20:46.000 And that is the guy who is now, they never got their elections.
00:20:49.000 They never had their democracy.
00:20:51.000 And now we have gangs running sections of every part of the country.
00:20:56.000 It's total anarchy.
00:20:58.000 It fits the definition of a failed state.
00:21:02.000 No airport service, no seaport service, starvation spreading around the country.
00:21:09.000 They can't get anything in there.
00:21:11.000 The result of that is sailboats filled with Haitians that are trying to get to the Florida keys.
00:21:19.000 Right now, they are en route.
00:21:21.000 These ships are sailing, headed for the, you know, the area of southern Florida where the keys right out of Miami there.
00:21:32.000 The border patrol station there through leaked documents is warning that if any of these boats show up, they will be immediately overwhelmed and swamped.
00:21:44.000 They have like 10 people there to deal with this.
00:21:48.000 And the piece that I have up right now is just pointing out that how Joe Biden handles the ships that are showing up that are on their way will determine whether we have a mass seaborne migration crisis to contend with in the next few weeks.
00:22:10.000 Yeah, so your piece says what Biden does next will determine whether a mass seaborne migration crisis develops with Haitians.
00:22:18.000 Now, you've got people like Matt Gates saying, you know, we cannot turn southern Florida into little Haiti.
00:22:25.000 I mean, obviously, everything that's gone on in the last few months and the last three years with Biden's open border immigration crisis, this just feels like, you know, it feels a little bit, Todd, to me, like Texas 2.0, where you had to standoff with the federal government, because you're saying that you have well-placed sources within Customs and Border Patrol that are saying that basically we're going to assist these boats to arrive safely as opposed to turning them away.
00:22:54.000 Then you had Governor DeSantis saying, you know, absolutely not.
00:22:58.000 So you've got another red state governor pitted against the federal government.
00:23:02.000 And so it's almost like a, you know, and by the way, I mean, that is instructive because Governor Abbott stood his ground and we're sort of at this detente right now.
00:23:14.000 And the Texas law enforcement is still putting up razor wire.
00:23:18.000 They're still enforcing the border and pushing migrants to the West.
00:23:22.000 But that's still, there's still legal challenges that are pending, right?
00:23:27.000 How do you see this playing out?
00:23:29.000 And one other question, as far as that federal state conflict that is building up here, how do you see that playing out?
00:23:36.000 And secondly, as we were researching this, getting ready for you to come on, we couldn't necessarily determine whether there was an actual flotilla that had already amassed in the Caribbean.
00:23:47.000 You're saying that you know that it has, or are you, I mean, do we have solid proof that this is actually happening?
00:23:54.000 Yes, we do.
00:23:57.000 There's good reporting in the Bahama press in the Bahamas about apprehensions of these sailing vessels moving through Bahama waters.
00:24:10.000 So they are catching some of these ships coming through, but others have gotten through and are on the way here.
00:24:18.000 The big question is whether the administration is going to let them land in Florida.
00:24:27.000 If they let them make it all the way to Florida, if they just escort them to the banks of Florida, to the beaches of Florida, then the message that will go back to Haiti is it's open.
00:24:41.000 They're letting us in.
00:24:42.000 They're not stopping us at sea.
00:24:44.000 And then you should be seeing many more ships heading toward Florida because they're letting us in.
00:24:51.000 And that's what he did at the southern border.
00:24:53.000 That's exactly the same.
00:24:55.000 That is the southern border model.
00:24:57.000 When you show up and you get in, we let you in.
00:25:00.000 We don't block, stop, and deter you.
00:25:03.000 Then millions more will come.
00:25:05.000 And that's what's at stake here.
00:25:07.000 Now, in the administration's defense, this is a tough situation because if they block them at sea, they won't be able to readily return them to Haiti because the ports are closed and controlled by gangs, and so is the airport.
00:25:25.000 So the question is, what do you do with them?
00:25:28.000 Well, right now, what I'm being told is they're going to just let them land in Florida and then process them in.
00:25:36.000 That's exactly the ingredient for mass migration.
00:25:41.000 But there are other alternatives.
00:25:43.000 There's Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
00:25:46.000 I was about to ask you about that, Todd.
00:25:48.000 I'm seeing reports that actually Biden is considering Guantanamo Bay as a processing center.
00:25:55.000 Since that is American controlled, there's got to be legal technicalities here.
00:26:01.000 Is it American soil?
00:26:02.000 Is it not?
00:26:04.000 Does it give them essentially entryway into the state?
00:26:08.000 Yeah, go ahead.
00:26:09.000 No, it's been done before.
00:26:11.000 In 1991, George H. Bush put the kabosh on one of these Haitian boat crises when he had the Navy divert them to Guantanamo Bay.
00:26:24.000 Well, nobody is going for the great Guantanamo Bay dream.
00:26:28.000 Nobody wants to end up in Guantanamo Bay.
00:26:30.000 They want to get into the states.
00:26:33.000 So it's really the perfect solution.
00:26:37.000 And it's been done before.
00:26:38.000 It doesn't mean you can have U.S. asylum.
00:26:41.000 It's a base in Cuba that the key.
00:26:44.000 U.S. controls.
00:26:46.000 And when the time comes, they can be repatriated back to Haiti and they don't step foot on U.S. soil and claim asylum.
00:26:54.000 So that is, to me, the obvious solution here.
00:26:57.000 A second one is what Bill Clinton did when this happened in 94, 95, which was to organize a multilateral invasion of Haiti, put U.S. Marines in there to stabilize things.
00:27:12.000 And then they returned the shiploads of Haitians back to a more state Haiti.
00:27:17.000 I'm not hearing anything about a multinational force going into Haiti right now, although I think it's necessary.
00:27:25.000 Ultimately, we're going to be forced into doing something like that, or people are going to start starving.
00:27:31.000 So that's kind of what's at stake.
00:27:34.000 Is a very interesting situation to watch on multiple fronts.
00:27:37.000 Ron DeSantis is playing Greg Abbott over there, like you mentioned.
00:27:42.000 He's surged 250 law enforcement officers and vessels and boats out there.
00:27:48.000 I don't know what he's going to do with those.
00:27:51.000 If some of those sailboats get close to the shoreline, I don't know what there are legal questions about what DeSantis can do at that point.
00:27:58.000 Can he take custody?
00:28:00.000 You know, so there's state, federal issues developing in Florida if this happens.
00:28:06.000 It has to happen first.
00:28:08.000 But we know that they are on the way.
00:28:10.000 They're getting caught in the Bahamas.
00:28:13.000 And by the way, one thing about the Bahamas, they don't want to get stuck with thousands of Haitians either.
00:28:20.000 So at some point, they're going to say, just let them pass.
00:28:24.000 We're not pulling them over.
00:28:26.000 We're not going to end up stuck with the hot potato if they want to go to Florida.
00:28:30.000 So watch for how the Cubans and the Bahaman, I don't know how to say that, Bahamians.
00:28:36.000 I'm sure somebody can correct me on that, how they react as more and more sailboats start coming.
00:28:43.000 Now, they're sailboats because they can't get fuel right now.
00:28:48.000 So they're sailing and they're slow.
00:28:50.000 So the first ones, I'm told, are about 48 hours out from Florida at this point.
00:28:55.000 And we'll see if the Coast Guard interdicts them or lets them come in.
00:28:58.000 That's the thing to watch.
00:29:01.000 So that's news.
00:29:02.000 48 hours away from the Florida coast.
00:29:04.000 And let's just be clear, Todd, and I think this is the bottom line here.
00:29:10.000 If you let them land in America, that is letting them stay.
00:29:15.000 And you said 250 boats that DeSantis has.
00:29:18.000 He needs 2,500.
00:29:21.000 250 police and National Guard he's deployed so far just a day or two ago.
00:29:29.000 Sphincters are tightened all over Florida in Homeland Security circles.
00:29:35.000 I can tell you that.
00:29:36.000 They are surging or border patrol agents there.
00:29:39.000 They're getting ready for a problem.

00:30:47.000 Todd, you know this stuff better than anybody.
00:30:49.000 Have we in recent memory, you mentioned Clinton, you mentioned some other iterations of this.
00:30:57.000 Is the main concern going to be that basically Joe Biden just lacks the will to essentially turn these people away as we've seen other administrations do?
00:31:06.000 And then once they get here, you know, it creates this magnet effect.
00:31:10.000 Or do you, I mean, there's just so many open questions because we haven't seen this dynamic of the federal government being so lax on illegal immigration.
00:31:22.000 Is that the main concern that Joe Biden's going to refuse to push these people away and is going to invite them in?
00:31:28.000 Yes.
00:31:30.000 The island of Haiti, the population is 11 million.
00:31:35.000 Nobody wants to live, wants to live in their home country.
00:31:39.000 So the question is, do you aid and abet a population transfer in the millions by boat to Florida?
00:31:48.000 Or do you enact policies that stem the flow?
00:31:56.000 Well, all past presidents that have been faced with similar circumstances have done whatever they could, whatever they had to, to make sure that a population transfer didn't happen.
00:32:08.000 This president is very different.
00:32:10.000 This is the first president ever in the history of the country, as far as I know, who has purposefully and intentionally opened the southern border to 10 million people crossing in 36 months.
00:32:26.000 They are allowing more than 85%, I would bet closer to 100% of everybody who reaches the border in one way or another to enter.
00:32:36.000 So the question is, are they going to do that on the Atlantic seaboard off the coast of Florida?
00:32:46.000 It remains to be seen.
00:32:48.000 I suspect that the president is very worried about the polling in an election year.
00:32:57.000 We saw the president go to the border for the first time, or maybe the second time.
00:33:02.000 From Brownsville.
00:33:03.000 Brownsville.
00:33:03.000 Yeah.
00:33:04.000 You know, he stayed in a hermetically sealed office or whatever, but he was there.
00:33:09.000 If he had dropped a pin on his phone, he could claim I was there.
00:33:12.000 I went to the border.
00:33:14.000 But that shows that he is concerned or about the political optics of mass migration.
00:33:22.000 So the big question here is, again, if he lets those first boats land, then the boats that would come behind it will then set sail, right?
00:33:34.000 I mean, that's how it works.
00:33:36.000 That's how the southern border worked.
00:33:38.000 He let the first waves in after inauguration day, and they sent selfies home.
00:33:44.000 And, you know, so I'm here.
00:33:45.000 Here I am in America.
00:33:47.000 And then it was on.
00:33:48.000 It's been on for three years story.
00:33:49.000 Very correct.
00:33:50.000 So, Todd, I have a question for you, actually, just pure numbers.
00:33:55.000 Do we have, you said 11 million Haitians.
00:33:58.000 Obviously, I mean, hopefully we're not going to get 11 million Haitians in Florida.
00:34:02.000 Two questions.
00:34:03.000 How many are we talking?
00:34:04.000 What are the estimates of how many are going to try and come and how many have already embarked on that journey?
00:34:11.000 And secondly, is there any animus politically pointed at Florida being this sort of MAGA hotbed, this MAGA center, an antagonist to the Biden regime?
00:34:22.000 Are you hearing any of that where, you know, there's just an unwillingness conveniently politically to work with DeSantis and his government?
00:34:30.000 Oh, I'm sure.
00:34:30.000 No, I'm not hearing any outward messaging about that, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if inwardly they're kind of like, you know, pleased with at least the idea of letting tens of thousands of Haitians land in Florida and,
00:34:48.000 you know, and putting, I mean, there's already hundreds of thousands of Haitians living in Florida who came in over the southern border, collapsing their hospitals and doing, you know, and really, you know, on public welfare systems, et cetera.
00:35:05.000 I don't know how many we can look, we can expect, but certainly if the thing were to just open up tens of thousands, I mean, in 91, George H. Bush set up Guantanamo Bay and they had like 40,000 in there in the camp.
00:35:22.000 That was in 91.
00:35:24.000 Most of them moving by ship and boats, just like they would today.
00:35:30.000 Certainly tens of thousands.
00:35:31.000 And if they really just opened the gate and just said, we're going to send our Coast Guard to escort these ships, lest anybody drown, we'll save anybody from drowning.
00:35:42.000 We'll provide anti-drowning security all the way to the Florida Keys.
00:35:48.000 Why wouldn't you set sail?
00:35:50.000 Why wouldn't you?
00:35:51.000 Of course.
00:35:52.000 Yeah.
00:35:53.000 Todd, this is really important.
00:35:54.000 It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out.
00:35:57.000 DeSantis v. Biden will be very interesting.
00:36:00.000 Thank you, Todd, for your time.
00:36:03.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
