00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, today in the Charlie Kirk show, we talk about some cultural stories this hour and I ask the question, are we winning, losing, or have lost the culture war?
00:00:11.000 We explore that throughout this episode.
00:00:13.000 I want your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:00:15.000 It's an important and provocative question that the race lady from MSNBC asks.
00:00:20.000 And I'd love your thoughts.
00:00:21.000 Because if we're honest, we definitely have some work to do.
00:00:24.000 Email us freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:00:38.000 Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:00:42.000 That is freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:00:46.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:47.000 Here we go.
00:00:48.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:50.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
00:00:52.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:55.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:58.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:59.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:00.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:01:07.000 Turning point USA.
00:01:09.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:18.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:20.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:29.000 Look, there's little things that happen that sometimes add up to bigger things.
00:01:35.000 And I'm sure you share the anger, the disgust, the frustration, the feeling, quite honestly, of collective humiliation that so many of us felt these last couple days as our greatest enemy, the Chinese Communist Party, trolled us in real time by floating a balloon across America.
00:01:54.000 And we reluctantly seem to shoot it down once it's over the water after it's taken imagery of all of our key military installations.
00:02:02.000 We didn't immediately shoot it down.
00:02:05.000 And so many of us are wondering, what country am I living in?
00:02:08.000 Are we seeing the real-time decline of America?
00:02:11.000 In some ways, yes.
00:02:12.000 But let's put the balloon story kind of on the shelf for a second.
00:02:18.000 Why is it also normal for us just to allow thousands of illegals to come into our country every single day, carrying fentanyl, many of them, that will then kill our own citizens?
00:02:28.000 Over 100,000 drug overdoses every single year, 30 to 40,000 of them attributable to Chinese-laced fentanyl.
00:02:35.000 Millions of people are able to come across the southern border, either by running past border patrol or just walking up and saying the right magic words and abra cadabra, they are allowed to come into the country.
00:02:47.000 Why is it normal that San Francisco is allowed to let criminals just loot stores whenever they want?
00:02:55.000 Why do we let rioters run wild in dozens of cities to burn down Wendy's in the honor of George Floyd or whatever their kind of reverent symbol is?
00:03:12.000 Where does this all come from?
00:03:14.000 Well, believe it or not, it's related to a short segment we did yesterday.
00:03:19.000 It's related to the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
00:03:22.000 And I'm not joking when I say this.
00:03:25.000 To do something like to enforce a border or to arrest a shoplifter or to shoot down an invading balloon, you have to believe in an objective moral order.
00:03:38.000 You have to believe that civilization is superior to barbarism.
00:03:43.000 You have to believe that laws are superior to chaos.
00:03:49.000 You have to believe that when laws are followed, human beings flourish, and when they are broken, you should be punished.
00:03:56.000 You have to believe in the goodness of the society and the need to preserve that society, and if necessary, by force, a small but strong government.
00:04:07.000 But that sense of civilizational right and wrong has been destroyed.
00:04:12.000 We have a moral order where when somebody robs a store or trespasses a border, the first action of those in power is to look at how society is to blame.
00:04:22.000 It's not the criminal's fault.
00:04:24.000 It's not the thug's fault.
00:04:26.000 It's the racism, the misogyny, the homophobia, the colonialism.
00:04:31.000 It's the societal structure that is to blame, not the human being himself or herself.
00:04:38.000 They want to excuse or enable destructive behavior rather than stop it.
00:04:45.000 And that same impulse is exactly why you see the pervasive, satanic, creepy imagery in the Grammys.
00:04:52.000 It isn't beautiful.
00:04:53.000 It's not uplifting.
00:04:54.000 And the people creating that imagery all know it.
00:04:57.000 All of its power comes from being repulsive and repugnant to everything good.
00:05:02.000 So I'm going to replay this, just for those of you that have not seen it.
00:05:06.000 You guys can keep my mic active, guys, okay, while you play this.
00:05:09.000 So just play the B-roll of Cut 15.
00:05:12.000 This is Sam Smith, who is an A-list artist.
00:05:17.000 This is performing at the Grammys on Primetime Television, dressed as Satan with the horns, with, let's just say, provocatively dressed people around him dancing in very strange ways, obvious satanic imagery.
00:05:34.000 This is called art.
00:05:36.000 CBS News tweeted out that, hey, Sam Smith, we're looking forward to your performance.
00:05:40.000 This is going to be worship.
00:05:43.000 And so who do we blame for our problems?
00:05:45.000 Well, in the current state of affairs, we blame the most functional, the most moral people for problems and punish them instead of actual wrongdoers.
00:05:54.000 As Sam Francis wrote in the 1990s, a phrase that I repeat, quite often, we are living in anarcho-tyranny.
00:06:03.000 One of the first things that Lucifer ever did was try to get man to question what God told him or her.
00:06:13.000 It was actually Eve where that dialogue happened.
00:06:15.000 To question what is right or wrong, to question the distinction between adult and child.
00:06:22.000 So when we look at the balloon story, the border story, the indoctrination of kids, we look at the chemical castration, almost all of it comes back to a cultural pathogen.
00:06:33.000 And the race lady on MSNBC had a very interesting monologue that I want to ponder with you.
00:06:40.000 And I want your honest thoughts, not hopium.
00:06:44.000 I want your honest thoughts on this.
00:06:47.000 So you just saw that satanic imagery.
00:06:50.000 Joy Reed enjoyed it.
00:06:53.000 She said that.
00:06:54.000 She said she enjoyed the Grammys, but that's not exactly why I'm playing this tape.
00:06:58.000 That's perverted and wrong and creepy and weird and also really disturbing.
00:07:02.000 But she says something else that I think is actually interesting.
00:07:06.000 So put aside the fact that Joy Reed is cheerleading for Luciferianism and listen to her contention where she says, we have won the culture war.
00:07:18.000 It's a little bit long of a clip, but I want you to listen to it.
00:07:22.000 Play Cut 40.
00:07:23.000 I hadn't watched in years, but I actually really enjoyed it.
00:07:27.000 Although I'm not sure everybody else did.
00:07:29.000 It was, to put it mildly, a celebration of the very thing the American right has turned into its latest anti-wokeness boogeyman, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
00:07:40.000 The show opened with Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny singing 99% in Spanish.
00:07:46.000 Then host Trevor Noah walked and talked through a room that was diversity, equity, and inclusion in human form.
00:07:52.000 We saw the first trans artist win a Grammy, Kim Petrus, who has a hit song with Sam Smith, the British singer who came out in 2019 as non-binary.
00:08:02.000 Lizzo performed with her amazing choir of many-sized singers.
00:08:07.000 Record of the Year went to Harry Stiles, a British male singer who frequently puts on dresses to pose in magazines and is a sex symbol to women and men because of it.
00:08:16.000 And there was a 15-minute epic tribute to the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.
00:08:22.000 So, yeah, the culture wars are over and the left won like total defeat.
00:08:28.000 I can only imagine the heads exploding in red states.
00:08:32.000 They are not just losing, they literally cannot win.
00:08:35.000 Cultural progression is relentless.
00:08:37.000 Once people get a taste of modernity, they almost never go back willingly.
00:08:42.000 Once people get a taste of modernity, they almost never go back willingly.
00:08:50.000 Well, I do.
00:08:52.000 I see that Montau she just played.
00:08:55.000 Of course, she skipped over the Luciferian components of Sam Smith.
00:09:00.000 And I say, boy, I yearn for a society that would appreciate Beethoven, Bach, Chopin, the symphony, the opera, understand Shakespeare and the Bible, and not honor trans singers and try to make a music ceremony into a political super PAC organizer.
00:09:26.000 But is it true, as Joy Reed says, it's over.
00:09:29.000 Joy Reed might as well be George W. Bush on an aircraft carrier with the mission accomplished banner behind her.
00:09:37.000 She is claiming victory over us.
00:09:39.000 Is she right?
00:09:42.000 I want to talk about relieffactor.com.
00:09:44.000 I want you guys to check out relieffactor.com, 100% drug-free, knee pain, back pain, joint pain, elbow pain.
00:09:50.000 Check out Relief Factor Energy.

00:09:58.000 Relief Factor Sleep could be the best solution for you.
00:10:01.000 Everybody goes to bed.
00:10:02.000 Not everybody sleeps.
00:10:04.000 We're all about helping people live lives that are filled with connection, exploration, passion, and emotion.
00:10:09.000 That is what his life is all about.
00:10:11.000 Make sure you guys are sleeping well.
00:10:12.000 It's a major part of life.
00:10:14.000 Check it out right now: relieffactor.com, relieffactor.com.
00:10:20.000 There's a profound dialogue that Leonard Bernstein had with the Black Panthers at a very wealthy, elite home in Central Park West.
00:10:33.000 This must have been in the 1960s or 70s when the Black Panthers were really starting to rise.
00:10:39.000 And they invited the Black Panthers in for kind of, it was similar to BLM, right?
00:10:43.000 White guilt.
00:10:44.000 And they wanted to learn from what was driving the Black Panthers.
00:10:49.000 And the Black, Leonard Bernstein famously asked the Black Panthers, so what do you want?
00:10:54.000 They said, we want to tear it all down.
00:10:57.000 We want to burn it to the ground.
00:10:58.000 We want to see the structures of systemic racism be burnt to a crisp.
00:11:05.000 We want to destroy the fabric of white supremacy.
00:11:10.000 And then Leonard Bernstein said, then what?
00:11:14.000 And the Black Panther responded, I don't know, man.
00:11:20.000 You can't have a plan for everything.
00:11:24.000 And I love that story because it's just so perfect.
00:11:29.000 Because here's a bunch of upper high society New Yorkers that are trying to learn.
00:11:33.000 And they were just kind of, they looked around, they said, yeah, this doesn't seem too thoughtful.
00:11:39.000 It's easy to burn stuff down.
00:11:41.000 It's hard to build stuff.
00:11:43.000 So that's the question is that Joy Reed, as she is celebrating, claiming victory over the culture wars, is it true?
00:11:54.000 Well, the Grammys ratings itself were down, albeit she's right.
00:11:58.000 The Grammys are largely indecipherable from a MSNBC broadcast for two reasons.
00:12:04.000 Nobody watches it.
00:12:06.000 And number two, it's full of left-wing, dogmatic, woke talking points.
00:12:10.000 So in that regard, she's totally right.
00:12:13.000 The Grammys are deeply unpopular.
00:12:15.000 So that's totally true.
00:12:17.000 Same to MSNBC.
00:12:18.000 And it's out of control.
00:12:20.000 Men can become pregnant.
00:12:21.000 Race is everything.
00:12:22.000 Nothing is deep or thoughtful or interesting.
00:12:25.000 White men are the problem.
00:12:26.000 All that kind of dogma.
00:12:28.000 Not popular.
00:12:29.000 8 million people watch it.
00:12:30.000 And also, here's just the really interesting twist.
00:12:33.000 It's sponsored by Pfizer.
00:12:35.000 So it's got every component, right?
00:12:38.000 It's got zero wisdom, hyperaggression, all the modern talking points.
00:12:44.000 And then Joy Reed said something so interesting, as if she's trying to act smart and philosophical.
00:12:51.000 She should just stick to the white people are racist thing.
00:12:54.000 Because what she said is so easily disproven.
00:13:01.000 Once people get a taste of modernity, they don't willingly go back.
00:13:07.000 You're trying to tell me that once people get a taste of eight-year-olds being exposed to child pornography, they don't want to willingly go back.
00:13:16.000 The evidence actually shows the opposite, Joy Reed.
00:13:19.000 You're trying to tell me that when seven-year-olds get chemically castrated, that's immensely popular with people?
00:13:25.000 I don't think so.
00:13:27.000 Or modernity of widespread crime or open borders, nothing suggests that that is necessarily popular with the vast majority of people.
00:13:36.000 But for Joy Reed, it doesn't mean anything because she gets to pretend like she's some sort of oppressed minority group when in reality she gets to live a rather, I hate to use this word, but she gets to live an upper middle class privileged lifestyle.
00:13:53.000 She doesn't actually have to live the consequence of all the horrendous ideas.
00:13:57.000 Look, here's the thing, is that we are the recipients.
00:14:00.000 We have inherited an extraordinary civilization called the West.
00:14:07.000 And there are foundational ideas that are built in that is considered common sense that the rest of the world do not consider common sense.
00:14:15.000 And it's a Christian inheritance, protecting children, separation of powers, consent to the governed, independent judiciary, the structure of the United States Constitution.
00:14:25.000 And modernity is an arson on the structure of the West.
00:14:32.000 Modernity is a poison.
00:14:34.000 Now, there's some things in modernity that, of course, we appreciate and enjoy.
00:14:38.000 Being able to broadcast to you, that's kind of cool.
00:14:40.000 Being able to take an Advil or a Tylenol when you have a headache or a fever.
00:14:44.000 Praise God for that.
00:14:45.000 Some advancements in modern medicine are incredible.
00:14:48.000 However, the values that modernity brings to the table, which Friedrich Nietzsche, to his great credit, predicted.
00:14:55.000 He said, once you tear down all this Christianity, and he said God is dead, but he was not proclaiming it.
00:15:02.000 He was lamenting it.
00:15:05.000 He said, look, if God is dead, what the heck are you going to replace it with?
00:15:10.000 And the answer is exactly what you saw at the Grammys.
00:15:13.000 120, 130 years ago.
00:15:15.000 Boy, it's 140 years ago, Nietzsche wrote that.
00:15:18.000 Have to look it up.
00:15:19.000 He was saying, okay, just so you know, the value of God in the West is dead, but that what comes next, of course, is the isms, the Nazism, the communism, the Marxism, the totalitarianism.
00:15:33.000 And now that Grammy show.
00:15:36.000 So where does that lead us?
00:15:37.000 And I want to keep on exploring this question as we go through some of the news of the day.
00:15:41.000 Has the left completely won the culture war?
00:15:43.000 Is it over?
00:15:47.000 Are you guys getting enough sleep?
00:15:48.000 Probably not.
00:15:49.000 Sleep is one of the most powerful factors to upgrading your health.
00:15:52.000 The problem with sleep is many of you probably say, I want to go to bed at 9, but I don't fall asleep till 11.30.
00:15:59.000 What if I told you that if you wanted to go to bed at 9, you could be asleep by 9.05?
00:16:02.000 Daisy, who works on our team, I said, look, you got a big problem.
00:16:06.000 You're not having enough magnesium, right?
00:16:08.000 True story.
00:16:09.000 And she tried it and she came back to work the next day and she said, Charlie, I don't even remember going to sleep.
00:16:15.000 Boom, you fall asleep.
00:16:16.000 Now, look, many of you guys probably say, but Charlie, I take melatonin.
00:16:20.000 Well, there's an issue with melatonin.
00:16:22.000 It's not altogether bad.
00:16:23.000 Huberman believes it actually could increase symptoms of depression.
00:16:27.000 But the problem with melatonin is that the body adapts and you need to take more and more of it and it becomes less effective.
00:16:33.000 There's a much better approach and you feed your body the natural melatonin building blocks and the transformers known as cofactors so that your body naturally produces melatonin.
00:16:43.000 Thanks to a brand new sleep formula developed by my friends at Bioptimizers, you can experience the best sleep ever.
00:16:49.000 After years of trial and error and sleep tracking, they finally launched a new groundbreaking sleep formula called Sleep Breakthrough.
00:16:56.000 Sleep Breakthrough is a delicious sleep drink that supports your natural melatonin production and relaxation without creating a dependency so that you have your best night's sleep on demand.
00:17:06.000 It targets five different sleep pathways to give you the best sleep ever.
00:17:10.000 You'll fall asleep in minutes and you'll stay asleep throughout the night.
00:17:12.000 And I know many of you say, Charlie, I want to go to bed at 10 o'clock, but then I end up falling asleep and I end up groggy and then I got a lot of coffee and the cycle continues.
00:17:20.000 What helps you get the right amount of REM and deep sleep, and best of all, you wake up feeling rested and rejuvenated so you can have the best day possible.

00:17:58.000 People are saying, Charlie, I think that the left has won.
00:18:01.000 Some people say it TB determined.
00:18:02.000 Some people say, no, we are winning.
00:18:05.000 It seems to be a mixture of both, but it is interesting because they are proclaiming victory, which again, just as a kind of interesting historical comparison, it feels very similar to Bush saying, mission accomplished, Play Cut 47.
00:18:23.000 Any outlaw regime that has ties to terrorist groups and seeks or possesses weapons of mass destruction is a grave danger to the civilized world and will be confronted.
00:18:41.000 We've begun the search for hidden chemical and biological weapons and already know of hundreds of sites that will be investigated.
00:18:49.000 Listen carefully to that language.
00:18:52.000 First of all, I haven't listened to this tape until right now.
00:18:54.000 We listened to it together for the first time, long time.
00:18:57.000 Did you hear what he said with connections to terrorist groups?
00:19:00.000 How's that any different than Joe Biden talking about American conservatives right now?
00:19:03.000 That is also a very deep topic that we can explore.
00:19:07.000 That the very same language, tactics, security state operations that they used against al-Qaeda, ISIS, to a lesser extent, Saddam Hussein, and the Taliban, Patriot Act, NSA, FISA courts.
00:19:20.000 They're using all that permanent infrastructure to go after American conservatives.
00:19:24.000 The stuff that Lady Graham told us to do, the stuff that George W. Bush told us to do, all of that anti-terror infrastructure is now being used against the American right.
00:19:33.000 They just kind of, they've poured it all into that.
00:19:37.000 So the language, of course, is parallel.
00:19:39.000 As George W. Bush says, we're going after the terrorists.
00:19:42.000 That's what they call us.
00:19:43.000 But it's interesting.
00:19:43.000 He had a big banner behind him that says mission accomplished.
00:19:47.000 So Joy Reed says, we have won.
00:19:50.000 Now, I'm not willing to issue an opinion either way, but this certainly plays into Joy Reed's argument.
00:19:59.000 Cut 35, yesterday, Trans Lives Matter activists stormed and occupied the Oklahoma Capitol.
00:20:09.000 They were not arrested.
00:20:11.000 I want you to imagine if every one of these people had Trump for president flags, they would have been arrested.
00:20:18.000 They would have been called insurrectionists.
00:20:20.000 They would have been spied on.
00:20:23.000 But since they are arguing for trans rights, whatever that is, it's deemed perfectly acceptable and peaceful.
00:20:32.000 Play Cut 35.
00:20:45.000 So they're just chanting trans lives matter, trans lives matter in the Oklahoma Capitol.
00:20:51.000 Now, that actually plays into Joy Reed's point, which is you're winning the culture war if you're allowed to then do the same thing the opposition does and not be held accountable.
00:21:04.000 The trans people are able to storm capitals with no arrests or recourse or any issues.
00:21:11.000 Trespassing, none of that.
00:21:13.000 Meanwhile, there are people going to jail for months and years for very similar behavior, January 6th Capitol.
00:21:22.000 I'm not talking about the violent stuff, which obviously we've never supported and never will.
00:21:26.000 I'm talking about peacefully entering into the Capitol, which they are now charging people, not just charging people, convicting people of illegal trespassing.
00:21:36.000 Now, remember that George W. Bush clip I just played about calling the other side terrorists?
00:21:39.000 Just listen to how similar Maxine Waters sounded to George W. Bush talking about Saddam, Hussein, and now.
00:21:49.000 Play Cut 48.
00:21:50.000 It's the Marjorie Taylor Greene, Republican caucus.
00:21:55.000 And you heard what McCarthy said.
00:21:58.000 He said he just loves her and that he's going to do everything he can to protect her.
00:22:03.000 You know, the average American person can see what is going on.
00:22:08.000 We have these right-wing conservatives who are, you know, we have domestic terrorists in the House of Representatives.
00:22:15.000 These people are extremists.
00:22:17.000 Domestic terrorists.
00:22:18.000 That's the same language as George W. Bush used on a foreign aircraft, on an aircraft carrier in foreign waters, talking about the enemies in Iraq.
00:22:28.000 The playbook is just 20 years old, just been totally flipped now on American conservatives to spy on us, infiltrate our groups, and then use terroristic type infrastructure to go after us.
00:22:40.000 Cut 38, teacher suggests to students, this is your taxpayer dollars paying this teacher, that the students should pledge allegiance to the progress pride flag.
00:22:51.000 Play Cut 38.
00:22:52.000 I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
00:23:06.000 So this teacher removed the American flag from her classroom, and all she has is the gay pride flag.
00:23:12.000 That's it.
00:23:13.000 That's all she has in her classroom now.
00:23:16.000 That's certainly a sign in Joy Reed's direction.
00:23:19.000 She was saying, we've won the culture war.
00:23:22.000 We feel like we're living in a conquered land, doesn't it?
00:23:25.000 Let me ask you a question.
00:23:27.000 I want you to answer it as honestly as you can.
00:23:31.000 Where you live, and I'm sure actually in places like Oklahoma, Kansas, it's more in one direction than the other.
00:23:36.000 But where you live this last summer, did you see more gay flags or American flags?
00:23:42.000 I can say that in Phoenix, Arizona, without a doubt, I saw more gay flags in businesses and more American flags on residences.
00:23:53.000 So it's a little bit split.
00:23:54.000 It's not all one way or the other, but certainly in businesses, whether it be the national chains like Starbucks, so many of these others, they had the gay flag as if we are a conquered land.
00:24:07.000 Let's play cut 42, psychologist at Boston's Children Hospital talking about caring for trans kids.
00:24:18.000 You see, so much of this gets laundered through the medical industry of these mad scientists that are then going to manipulate children in their image, but it's all downstream from the winner or the loser of the cultural battle.
00:24:33.000 Play cut 42.
00:24:36.000 So most of the patients that we have in the gems clinic actually know their gender, usually around the age of puberty, but a good portion of children do know as early as seemingly from the womb.
00:24:45.000 And they will usually express their gender identity as very young children.
00:24:48.000 Some, as soon as they can talk, they might say phrases such as, I'm a girl or I'm a boy or I'm going to be a woman or I'm going to be a mom.
00:24:56.000 Kids know very, very early.
00:24:58.000 Kids know early and therefore we should be able to use irreversible, incredibly aggressive and intrusive surgical means and methods to change their private parts.
00:25:10.000 And Joy Reid and the American left, they are celebrating by how much quote-unquote progress they have made with this.
00:25:16.000 But let's connect all of this together because many of you feel that kind of national humiliation after the balloon and the border remains wide open and all these different components and things are happening.
00:25:29.000 But it all comes to then people with power.
00:25:33.000 You see, you're always going to have rich people.
00:25:37.000 You're always going to have elites.
00:25:39.000 You're always going to have generals.
00:25:40.000 Hierarchies exist no matter what.
00:25:44.000 Radical egalitarianism is one of the great lies of political philosophy, period.
00:25:50.000 You're going to have somebody at the top of the hierarchy.
00:25:53.000 Always.
00:25:55.000 That's how nature works.
00:25:56.000 It's how political systems work.
00:25:58.000 There is no avoiding it.
00:26:00.000 So when you start to hear all this ideology, it's very tempting to say, well, that's just this elementary school and that's just a wacko congressman.
00:26:09.000 No, no, no, no.
00:26:10.000 It all connects because the person responsible with defending our country also believes it.
00:26:16.000 Play cut 41 of Mark Milley.
00:26:19.000 And it is important that we train and we understand.
00:26:23.000 And I want to understand white rage.
00:26:25.000 And I'm white.
00:26:26.000 And I want to understand it.
00:26:28.000 So what is it that caused thousands of people to assault this building and try to overturn the Constitution of the United States of America?
00:26:36.000 What caused that?
00:26:37.000 I want to find that out.
00:26:39.000 What caused that?
00:26:40.000 I want to find that out.
00:26:43.000 What happens in the culture wars does not stay in the culture war as it starts to infect other parts of society.
00:26:50.000 There is a new scene from Disney Plus, which unfortunately, if I were to guess, many of you in this audience probably have grandkids that watch Disney Plus or your kids themselves.
00:27:03.000 I encourage you not to do that.
00:27:07.000 This is from Disney Plus, children's cartoon series called The Proud Family, louder and prouder, singing about how slaves built this country and that we're the descendants of slaves.
00:27:19.000 Play cut nine.
00:27:23.000 This country was built on slavery, which means slaves built this country.
00:27:27.000 And we, the descendants of slaves in America, have earned reparations for their suffering and continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in the systemic prejudice, racism, and white supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for.
00:27:41.000 Slaves built this country.
00:27:43.000 But slaves were men.
00:27:45.000 And women, and only we can free ourselves.
00:27:47.000 Emancipation is not freedom.
00:27:49.000 Jim Cross, segregation, redlining public schools, feeding private prisons, where we become slaves again.
00:27:55.000 We're taking our freedom.
00:27:56.000 Slavery is wrong and evil, but slaves did not write the U.S. Constitution.
00:28:02.000 Slaves did not write the Declaration of Independence.
00:28:06.000 Slaves did not write the Federalist Papers.
00:28:09.000 Slaves did not write the Magna Carta.
00:28:12.000 Slaves did not write the Mayflower Compact.
00:28:15.000 Even though the Declaration of Independence was crucial to freeing slaves, even though the very people that they criticize, Jefferson, Washington, Hamilton, Jay, Quincy Adams, all played integral parts in ending slavery, as we all have something in common.
00:28:34.000 We're born into a world we did not create.
00:28:36.000 But they say slaves built this country.
00:28:38.000 Do you understand how sick that argument is?
00:28:41.000 You know what it's saying?
00:28:42.000 It's saying that slavery is good.
00:28:45.000 I disagree.
00:28:46.000 Slaves did not build this country.
00:28:49.000 Slaves in a very immoral and evil fashion made a small group of people temporarily wealthy, but slavery is actually a very inefficient economic model.
00:28:58.000 A country cannot get wealthy just strictly through slavery.
00:29:02.000 Look at the countries right now that currently have slavery.
00:29:04.000 They're really poor.
00:29:06.000 You actually get wealthier by empowering every single person in your population to own private property, to control their own labor, to be able to trade and barter and take risks.
00:29:16.000 What they're saying is that slaves, slavery is why America is wealthy.
00:29:21.000 If that was the case, why was the free North far wealthier than the slave South?
00:29:26.000 Why is that?
00:29:29.000 And while we're at it, was it slaves that invented the airplane or the assembly line?
00:29:35.000 I'm not saying that their contribution was insignificant, of course not.
00:29:39.000 But I refuse to acknowledge that the immoral paradigm and quite honestly, tradition and current practice of slavery is beneficial.
00:29:50.000 It's not, actually.
00:29:52.000 Slavery doesn't help anybody.
00:29:54.000 But their argument that they're saying is that anything you're enjoying now is because of slaves and slaves built this country.
00:30:01.000 That's just not true.
00:30:04.000 But that's what's being taught in our schools, all over our schools.
00:30:07.000 The West did not invent slavery.
00:30:09.000 It abolished slavery.
00:30:10.000 There are more slaves on the planet today than at any time in American history.
00:30:17.000 In the Horn of Africa, in sub-Saharan Africa, in the Middle East, on our southern border, in Asia, human beings, owning human beings, tragically, has been around as long as history has been recorded.
00:30:36.000 And so it does beg a question of why did we get rid of slavery?
00:30:39.000 We got rid of slavery because the promise of the Bible of human equality, both Old and New Testament narratives that talk about the evils of slavery, both Exodus and many of Paul's writings of neither slave nor Greek nor Jew, we are all one in Christ Jesus.
00:30:58.000 So to summarize this all together, are we winning or are we losing?
00:31:03.000 I think we have to be honest, the left has temporarily taken control of some of our most critical institutions.
00:31:10.000 They are temporary occupiers, and that's a very important distinction.
00:31:15.000 I think they are temporarily controlling so many of our opinion-shaping institutions and power centers.
00:31:24.000 But like any occupying force, it's hard to control a country where you are in where you are philosophically incongruent with the fabric of the people that you're trying to dictate towards.
00:31:38.000 This is why I've said for quite some time, you must think like a dissident in your own country.
00:31:44.000 They might control those institutions, but that does not mean we have to bend a knee or to agree with them.
00:31:51.000 And I'll close the hour with this.
00:31:54.000 If their victory was inevitable, then their propaganda would not be necessary.
00:32:01.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
