00:00:07.000 Let's give it up for that worship one more time.
00:00:10.000 Was that not amazing, everybody?
00:00:11.000 That's not easy to do.
00:00:14.000 Look at this turnout, everybody.
00:00:16.000 Wow, this is amazing.
00:00:18.000 Well, so uh welcome everybody.
00:00:19.000 I um I am thrilled.
00:00:21.000 This is the first year that we're doing it this scale and this size, and you know, we have TP USA faith, and it is growing like crazy right now.
00:00:28.000 And we have pastors from all across the country, and it is just it is just incredible.
00:00:33.000 You guys having a good time at America Fest?
00:00:37.000 I I'll say it again.
00:00:39.000 When you see a turning point, USA staffer, just pray for them because they're not sleeping, they're running around, they're solving problems, and just have us have grace on them, have just smile and say thank you, because they are working so hard to serve you, and I think they're doing a really, really great job.
00:00:54.000 Wouldn't you agree?
00:00:55.000 They're doing a great job.
00:00:59.000 So the spirit of this night is all about worshiping our creator.
00:01:02.000 Now, some of you here tonight might have some ideas about Christianity.
00:01:06.000 It's like, oh, I grew up in a Christian school and I don't like the rules and I like this, but Charlie told me to show up, and I'm just gonna sit here.
00:01:13.000 So tonight I want you to open your heart and open your mind and say, I'm gonna entertain, even just because somebody told me this idea that there is a God and you are not him, and that God loves you.
00:01:26.000 Those three things that there is a God, you are not him, and that God loves you.
00:01:31.000 Those three things.
00:01:32.000 Now, as you can see in my shirt here, here I am.
00:01:35.000 It is something that we are repeating at TPUSA Faith.
00:01:38.000 And you know, I listen to podcasts and read the word, and I just was thinking, I was like, boy, what is what does God want this theme of 2024 to be?
00:01:47.000 And it's kept on repeating and repeating and repeating as I would read in my devotionals and read in my Bible this idea of Lord use me.
00:01:57.000 Here I am, Lord use me as an instrument for your will.
00:02:03.000 Now, one of the things that I think is so important to remember, as we just had that incredible worship, is that we worship a loving God who allows us to be here on this planet to have to do his will here on earth.
00:02:17.000 And all of us together, if we have a posture of the willing, and there's different categories for all of us.
00:02:22.000 You see, some of you uh I just I I love the Bible.
00:02:25.000 Don't we love the Bible, everybody?
00:02:26.000 It is just and I want to riff on this a second.
00:02:30.000 I talked, I spoke about this in the Turning Point Academy breakout, which is what is your owner's manual instruction manual for life?
00:02:38.000 If it's not the Bible, I want to hear it.
00:02:39.000 You can email me, freedom at Charliekirk.com.
00:02:42.000 Is it uh pray, eat love, or whatever that book is?
00:02:46.000 Or I do yoga meditations, it's fine.
00:02:49.000 Whatever it is, you have to have some instruction manual that you reference.
00:02:54.000 Am I acting correctly?
00:02:55.000 Am I marrying correctly?
00:02:57.000 Am I living life well?
00:02:59.000 You see, for me, and for those of us that call ourselves born again Christians, it's the word of God.
00:03:05.000 It is the Bible, it is the totality, it answers every question.
00:03:09.000 Why are we here?
00:03:11.000 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
00:03:13.000 Boom!
00:03:14.000 Your existence is not a mistake, everybody.
00:03:17.000 And are you a clump of cells that accidentally came into existence over millions of years of Darwinian evolution?
00:03:25.000 Genesis 126 and 127.
00:03:28.000 And God made us in his image.
00:03:31.000 We are image bearers of the divine, and therefore, by the way, that means every single life born and unborn must be protected, regardless of how big that life is.
00:03:43.000 And let me say this if you are a pastor and you are not speaking out for pro-life ideas and policies and politicians, you should resign from the ministry because every pastor needs to be speaking out about abortion in their church.
00:03:59.000 Okay.
00:04:00.000 So we know why we're here.
00:04:02.000 Better sheet in the Hebrew.
00:04:04.000 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
00:04:07.000 We know what a human being is.
00:04:09.000 Now, what is good or evil?
00:04:11.000 And a lot of people say, you know, I know good and evil uh through common sense.
00:04:14.000 I know it just because I I trust my gut.
00:04:16.000 Bad idea, everybody.
00:04:18.000 You need something to tell you that.
00:04:19.000 And you're like, oh, I I know it because uh what my parents taught me.
00:04:22.000 Where'd they learn it from?
00:04:23.000 Oh, their grandparents.
00:04:23.000 Where'd they learn it from?
00:04:24.000 You go to other countries, you realize what we take for granted is right and wrong, is a Christian inheritance That has been passed down through many years.
00:04:32.000 And if we're serious about saving this country, we need to get back to the source of where that inheritance came from.
00:04:40.000 The word of God and our true citizenship, which is in heaven.
00:04:46.000 So I love the Bible.
00:04:48.000 And even if you're not convinced, I I ask you to spend one hour a week and read the Bible.
00:04:55.000 Because you know what I love about the Bible?
00:04:56.000 The more you read the Bible, the more it reads you.
00:04:58.000 It reads you back.
00:05:00.000 It talks back to you.
00:05:01.000 I've never found a book like that.
00:05:03.000 Ever.
00:05:04.000 It answers every single question.
00:05:06.000 Infinite about wisdom in Proverbs.
00:05:09.000 Psalms about worshiping God in times that you are having difficulty and heaviness.
00:05:15.000 What happens when we die?
00:05:16.000 The answer is if you give your life to Jesus, you have life and life everlasting, which is the greatest hope for all of us.
00:05:24.000 But also, is murder wrong?
00:05:27.000 Should we honor our parents?
00:05:29.000 Should we care about our country?
00:05:31.000 Jeremiah 29 7.
00:05:32.000 Demand the welfare of the nation that you are in because your welfare is tied to your nation's welfare.
00:05:37.000 Every major question you might be wrestling with, there is an answer in the word of God.
00:05:41.000 And so there's this phrase I'm just gonna keep on repeating here I am, the first time it appears in the Bible.
00:05:46.000 And this will apply to every single one of you, because none of you get an excuse not to leave here tonight to say, here I am.
00:05:53.000 The first time it appears in the scriptures is one of the best known stories.
00:05:57.000 The story of Abraham and Isaac.
00:06:00.000 Now, just by backstory, for those that don't know the Bible or might have forgot, that's okay.
00:06:04.000 It's all good.
00:06:04.000 Abraham is called by God in Genesis 12.
00:06:07.000 We have no idea why Abraham was chosen.
00:06:09.000 We don't know anything about this guy.
00:06:11.000 He's just living with his dad of a person, honestly.
00:06:14.000 But he was willing.
00:06:18.000 He was not talented, he was not handsome, he wasn't necessarily courageous, but he was the most important thing for a believer.
00:06:27.000 He was willing.
00:06:28.000 It says in Genesis 22, and it's one of the least understood stories in the Bible, where you know, some people say, Oh, did God want Abraham to kill his son?
00:06:37.000 No, no, no, no.
00:06:37.000 And by the way, the whole story of Genesis 22 is really about Jesus.
00:06:41.000 The whole story is about Jesus as the true sacrifice.
00:06:44.000 But it says right there in Genesis 22 that God was testing Abraham.
00:06:48.000 But the angel of the Lord, the messenger of the Lord, called to him from heaven and said, Abraham, Abraham.
00:06:54.000 And how does Abraham respond?
00:06:57.000 Here I am.
00:06:59.000 Send me.
00:07:00.000 Tell me, God, what to do.
00:07:03.000 And you might say, Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I'm ready.
00:07:06.000 Abraham all of a sudden they said, Okay, um, you got to sacrifice your son.
00:07:11.000 The son, by the way, that he never thought he would have.
00:07:15.000 What was his son's name?
00:07:16.000 Which means laughter.
00:07:19.000 Why'd they name him laughter?
00:07:21.000 Because they laughed at the prospect that they would ever have a kid.
00:07:25.000 This is a kid they could not believe actually existed.
00:07:28.000 The kid they said, Oh no, come on, I'm like 195 years old.
00:07:31.000 You know, Sarah's not gonna have a kid.
00:07:34.000 They have this son that's literally called laughter, and God says, uh, do you really follow me?
00:07:40.000 Do you really follow me?
00:07:41.000 And Abraham says, here I am.
00:07:44.000 Now, Abraham passed that test, and that is the reason eventually that we know that God, Abraham means father of nations, that the covenant was started.
00:07:53.000 The covenant that leads all the way to Jesus Christ and an uninterrupted line that leads us here tonight.
00:08:01.000 This is Lane Schomberger, chief investment officer and founding partner of Y Refi.

00:09:10.000 Abraham was tested.
00:09:12.000 Many of you are going through a test right now.
00:09:14.000 I guarantee it.
00:09:15.000 You might have been gotten a diagnosis from a doctor that's not that great.
00:09:19.000 Your spouse might be dealing with something.
00:09:20.000 You might be going through a divorce.
00:09:21.000 You might say, I don't need this here I am stuff because my life is too hard.
00:09:26.000 What did Abraham say when his life was hard and he was tested?
00:09:28.000 Here I am.
00:09:30.000 Every single one of us goes through times of tests and trials.
00:09:34.000 And you say, God use me.
00:09:35.000 What do you want from me during this trial?
00:09:38.000 The second of which is Jacob, which ends up to be Israel.
00:09:43.000 So Jacob literally very, very interesting character.
00:09:47.000 Jacob means usurper or heel and redeemer, because he literally was holding on to Esau's heel as he came out of the womb.
00:09:54.000 They were twins.
00:09:56.000 And it's very simple.
00:09:57.000 The angel of God said to him in a dream, Jacob, and he said, Here I am.
00:10:00.000 And from that point forward, the nation of Israel was born.
00:10:04.000 The willingness of Jacob turned in to the nation of Israel to go build something.
00:10:09.000 Some of you here tonight are being called to build something new.
00:10:13.000 And this is going to speak to some of you.
00:10:15.000 Is God whispering with his Holy Spirit in your ear to start a new business, to start a family?
00:10:21.000 That that spirit of Jacob of here I am.
00:10:24.000 Here I am, Lord.
00:10:25.000 I'm gonna build something new.
00:10:27.000 Now my favorite one, because this is most of you, is Moses.
00:10:32.000 Moses had it all.
00:10:34.000 He had a comfortable life.
00:10:35.000 He got along with his father-in-law, Jethro.
00:10:38.000 He was living in Midian, he was living the high life.
00:10:41.000 And he all of a sudden stumbles upon a burning bush.
00:10:45.000 And his life was not easy after that.
00:10:47.000 He had to lead without a doubt the least impressive group of people in the history of the ancient world, the Hebrews.
00:10:54.000 God bless them, but they complain all the time and they were slaves to be a great nation.
00:10:58.000 And what did Moses say?
00:11:00.000 It's one of the most powerful scriptures.
00:11:03.000 Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father in law Jethro, the priest of Midian.
00:11:07.000 He had it all.
00:11:08.000 Imagine some of you right now are how Moses was.
00:11:11.000 You got a good business.
00:11:13.000 You don't speak out about politics.
00:11:16.000 You got lots of friends.
00:11:17.000 You go to a country club, you're well liked.
00:11:20.000 You're Moses.
00:11:21.000 I'm good.
00:11:22.000 Everything's right.
00:11:23.000 But maybe God's whispering in your ear.
00:11:25.000 Are you ready?
00:11:26.000 Are you ready?
00:11:28.000 Are you ready to leave comfort and go on an adventure?
00:11:32.000 Are you ready to leave the nice pleasantries?
00:11:35.000 Guess what?
00:11:35.000 None of that stuff matters.
00:11:36.000 Country clubs, going on nice vacations and wealth.
00:11:40.000 You know what matters more?
00:11:41.000 Eternity matters a lot more than that.
00:11:43.000 A lot more than that.
00:11:44.000 Moses says, now Moses was keeping the flock of his father while Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he fled his flock to the west side of the wilderness and cave the Horeb, the mountain of God.
00:11:52.000 And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush, and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.
00:11:59.000 Then Moses said, I will turn aside and see this great sight.
00:12:02.000 Why is the bush not burning?
00:12:03.000 And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called out to him and said, Moses, Moses.
00:12:09.000 And he said, Here I am.
00:12:13.000 At that moment, Moses was saying, Alright, God, I'm gonna leave the cushy job.
00:12:19.000 I understand that if I speak out for my faith or speak out politically, I might lose my job.
00:12:25.000 But here I am.
00:12:27.000 Comfort and Christianity sometimes come to a head.
00:12:32.000 In fact, we are called to get uncomfortable as believers and Christians.
00:12:38.000 If you are comfortable, you're not doing Christianity right.
00:12:43.000 Then Samuel, this one applies to a lot of you.
00:12:45.000 I love this one.
00:12:47.000 Samuel, now a boy was ministering to the Lord in the presence of Eli.
00:12:51.000 He was a child.
00:12:53.000 He was young.
00:12:54.000 Turning point USA students.
00:12:56.000 Where are you guys?
00:12:57.000 You guys are all over the place here.
00:12:59.000 This one is for you because some of you might say, I am I'm too young to be used by God.
00:13:03.000 This is a here I am thing.
00:13:05.000 Now Samuel says, Here I am the most of any person on the Bible.
00:13:08.000 He keeps on saying it.
00:13:09.000 Here I am, here I am, here I am.
00:13:10.000 The eagerness of the youth activist.
00:13:13.000 It reminds me of seeing these turning point USA kids running all over the place here.
00:13:17.000 All ages, all backgrounds can be used by God.
00:13:20.000 Let me say that again.
00:13:21.000 All ages, all backgrounds be used by God.
00:13:24.000 And Samuel, of course, was then led, and the Lord said, Samuel, Samuel roars and went down, and he says, Here I am, For you called me.
00:13:32.000 And Samuel was then called to amazing and great things.
00:13:35.000 How about Isaiah?
00:13:37.000 Isaiah.
00:13:38.000 Of course, one of the major prophets.
00:13:40.000 Isaiah literally means God is my redeemer.
00:13:42.000 I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send and who will go for us?
00:13:45.000 Then he said, Here I am, send me.
00:13:48.000 And through Isaiah, we get the fulfillment of the promise that is Jesus Christ.
00:13:52.000 And finally, my favorite, because this one applies to every single person, which is Anahs.
00:14:00.000 And you might say, Who is this?
00:14:01.000 Ananias.
00:14:02.000 Ananias is a character in the book of Acts, written by the apostle Luke.
00:14:07.000 He continues by saying, in Acts 9 10, it's it's incredible.
00:14:11.000 So an angel of the Lord, it's a lot of angels going around here.
00:14:14.000 And he's and the Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias, and he says, Hanani, here I am.
00:14:19.000 And now here's some context.
00:14:20.000 I'm gonna read it like this context.
00:14:22.000 Lord said to him, Rise and go to the street called straight, the house of Judas.
00:14:26.000 Look for a man of Tarsus named Saul.
00:14:30.000 For behold, he is praying, and he has seen a vision of man named Ananias.
00:14:33.000 Come in and lay hands on him.
00:14:34.000 Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many about this man how much evil he has done to your saints in Jerusalem.
00:14:39.000 Okay.
00:14:39.000 Here's what here's the context.
00:14:41.000 Saul was a bad dude.
00:14:43.000 He was not doing good.
00:14:44.000 And God called Ananias to go and confront him.
00:14:48.000 And he's like, I don't want to do that.
00:14:50.000 He's mean.
00:14:52.000 He had, but he was more than mean.
00:14:53.000 He was going and killing people.
00:14:54.000 How many of you here tonight know somebody that you need to confront that is doing evil?
00:15:00.000 How many of you here tonight know a professor that is abusing their authority?
00:15:05.000 How many of you know tonight a neighbor that is just terrorizing people based on politics?
00:15:10.000 How many of you know a weak pastor?
00:15:15.000 That needs to be confronted by a believer and say, either you need a lead, follow, or get out of the way, and preach the word or not be a pastor any longer.
00:15:27.000 Now, whether it be Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Samuel, Isaiah, Ananias, the here I am is when legendary things happen in the Bible.
00:15:37.000 Six people that are some of the most important instruments for God's will here on earth.
00:15:43.000 And I'm just gonna close with this.
00:15:45.000 That is my phrase going into 2024.
00:15:47.000 I'm gonna use.
00:15:48.000 I hope it is for you as well.
00:15:49.000 Because every single one of you need to say, God, I am willing.
00:15:52.000 Use me.
00:15:54.000 Use me for your purposes.
00:15:56.000 Liberty is God's idea, not man's idea.
00:15:58.000 We will never allow the church to be called non essential again, as they allowed strip clubs and marijuana dispensaries and convenience stores to remain open.
00:16:10.000 We believe in a strong church.
00:16:12.000 Now, for those of you that are really wonky, somebody one of my uh board members came up to me and said, uh, Charlie, it's really bold uh naming a whole thing after yourself.
00:16:24.000 It's like, what are you talking about?
00:16:26.000 Well, Kirk means church in Scotland, and Charlie means strong man or strong church, strong church.
00:16:33.000 So I didn't do that intentionally for the record.
00:16:36.000 But we do need a strong church, everybody.
00:16:38.000 And it starts with all of you.
00:16:40.000 Look, for those of you that are not yet believers, it's very simple.
00:16:44.000 Uh, you're gonna have a court date, we all die, and you're all gonna meet the supreme judge of the universe.
00:16:50.000 Justice is getting what you deserve, which is going to a not so good place.
00:16:54.000 We're all sinners and we all fall short of the glory of God.
00:16:57.000 But thanks to the cross, a perfect loving God who came down in human uh form, human flesh, lived a perfect life and died for us so that we can live forever.
00:17:06.000 At that moment, we're about to get that sentencing into eternal damnation.
00:17:10.000 Somebody says, Oh no, no, I know him.
00:17:13.000 I know her.
00:17:15.000 Welcome to eternal life.
00:17:17.000 You have an opportunity.
00:17:18.000 The gospel in four words is Jesus took my place.
00:17:20.000 Three words is him for me.
00:17:22.000 Two words is substitutionary atonement, and one word is grace.
00:17:26.000 Grace you cannot earn.
00:17:28.000 Grace you do not pay for.
00:17:31.000 It doesn't matter how much money you give to the hospital.
00:17:33.000 It doesn't even matter how many doors you knock on for Trump, and I hope you knock on a lot of doors for him.
00:17:40.000 You can't earn it.
00:17:41.000 It doesn't matter if you're a good person, it doesn't matter if you have always done the best you can, because what's different about Christianity is that it's a gift for all of humanity to receive, regardless of everything that we have done.
00:17:52.000 And your life will be transformed.
00:17:55.000 You will be born again.
00:17:58.000 Grace is not earned, it is given by a God who loves you and wants to spend eternity with you.
00:18:03.000 It is the most important decision you can make in your life.
00:18:08.000 Here I am.
00:18:10.000 God bless you guys.
00:18:11.000 Thank you so much.
