00:01:39.000 Happy Monday.
00:01:40.000 Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
00:01:42.000 We certainly did.
00:01:44.000 Rested and recovered and ready to go.
00:01:47.000 And we thought it was just going to kind of be a sleepy Thanksgiving weekend.
00:01:51.000 We thought that, you know, in Trump world, that it was just going to kind of be, okay, Trump is doing the YMCA dance at Mar-a-Lago.
00:01:58.000 Nothing big, nothing groundbreaking, and oh, no, no.
00:02:01.000 We are in a brand new world.
00:02:04.000 Some would say a brave new world.
00:02:06.000 Not Huxleyan, but it certainly has some elements of that.
00:02:10.000 Where this weekend, a lot happened.
00:02:12.000 It started on Wednesday evening.
00:02:13.000 President Trump met with Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, otherwise known as Meta.
00:02:19.000 Then on Friday, President Trump had dinner with Justin Trudeau.
00:02:24.000 All of this, by the way, around his threats of tariffs against Mexico and Canada and China.
00:02:34.000 Turns out the tariff threats have worked, so much so that Justin Trudeau boarded his plane—well, they don't do Thanksgiving in Canada—boarded his plane the day after Thanksgiving to come down to basically get on his hands and knees and beg President Trump will not wreck the Canadian economy.
00:02:50.000 You know, it's so funny.
00:02:51.000 Democrats would say time and time again, in order to solve the border crisis, you need a bipartisan border bill.
00:02:58.000 You need James Lankford's border bill.
00:03:00.000 You need a bipartisan consensus.
00:03:03.000 President Trump says, just give me a phone call.
00:03:06.000 You want a multi-billion dollar border bill?
00:03:08.000 Yeah, that'll help if we do actual targeting of Border Patrol agents funding on the border.
00:03:13.000 One phone call, one Truth Social post, and President Trump was able to allocate more than any bipartisan border bill possibly would have.
00:03:25.000 Feels like American power is finally being restored to the world.
00:03:29.000 Then, over the weekend, on Saturday evening, President Trump sent yet another shockwave to the system.
00:03:36.000 We already have Pete Hegseth.
00:03:39.000 We have Pam Bondi, who's going to do a great job.
00:03:42.000 We already have Tulsi Gabbard.
00:03:45.000 We already have Bobby Kennedy.
00:03:47.000 I mean, we have this all-star team.
00:03:48.000 We have Elon Musk.
00:03:49.000 We have Vivek Ramaswamy.
00:03:51.000 However, there was this open slot.
00:03:54.000 of who is going to control the FBI. Now the FBI, interestingly enough, was actually not chartered by the FBI, even though it was given its name.
00:04:05.000 In 1935 by Congress.
00:04:07.000 In 1908, Attorney General Charles Bonaparte created the Bureau of Investigation, otherwise known as the BOI. It was an investigative force within the Department of Justice.
00:04:19.000 Bonaparte hired 34 people, including some former Secret Service members, to work for the agency.
00:04:26.000 In 1935, Congress gave it its current name, the FBI. Now, mind you, the FBI is part of the Department of Justice.
00:04:35.000 It is part of the DOJ. And the FBI's authority comes from congressional statutes, executive orders, and code of federal regulations.
00:04:44.000 So the FBI has always kind of...
00:04:47.000 It's not in the Constitution.
00:04:48.000 It is a form of the DOJ. And President Trump sent another shockwave nominating Kash Patel to lead the FBI. Now, I have a lot to talk about the Kash Patel story because it is just phenomenal, enormous news, and it's going to require all of you in this audience To keep the pressure on your senators from Idaho, from Kansas, from South Dakota, from Arkansas, to make sure that Kash Patel is confirmed by the Senate.
00:05:17.000 But early signs and early indicators are very good.
00:05:20.000 But then the even bigger news, as if it was leading up, Zuckerberg, Trudeau, Kash Patel, and then boom, last night.
00:05:29.000 Despite repeated proclamations, statements, and promises that he would not do this, Joe Biden gave a blanket pardon to his son, Hunter Biden.
00:05:41.000 Now, it wasn't just a pardon for the crimes that he was convicted of.
00:05:46.000 It was a blanket pardon going all the way back to 2014, which interestingly now covers all of the Ukrainian and the Chinese Communist Party activities that the Biden family was involved in.
00:05:59.000 This comes while we're also seeing other left-wing billionaires like Reid Hoffman talking about fleeing the country.
00:06:06.000 If these people did nothing wrong, why are they so worried about the government coming after them?
00:06:13.000 You see, Joe Biden pardoning his son.
00:06:15.000 Again, I'm not going to get too worked up about this.
00:06:17.000 A father should look after his son.
00:06:20.000 Family does come first.
00:06:22.000 But from the presidential standpoint, this is much more about the corruption.
00:06:28.000 And the lying and the deception of the President of the United States.
00:06:34.000 Joe Biden all along should have just said, look, I'm going to look very closely at it.
00:06:37.000 If I feel if my son is mistreated, I'm going to pardon him.
00:06:40.000 No, instead, Joe Biden promised to the American people this is not going to happen.
00:06:45.000 No one is above the law, is what he was saying.
00:06:48.000 In fact, that was the whole left-wing talking point, that no one is above the law.
00:06:52.000 Let's play cut seven.
00:06:54.000 Joe Biden promising he would not pardon Hunter Biden.
00:06:57.000 Play cut seven.
00:06:58.000 And I am satisfied that I'm not going to do anything.
00:07:02.000 I said I'd abide by the jury decision.
00:07:04.000 I will do that and I will not pardon him.
00:07:07.000 In May, have you ruled out a pardon for your son?
00:07:11.000 Play cut 29. And I am satisfied that I'm not going to do anything.
00:07:16.000 I said I'd abide by the jury decision.
00:07:19.000 I will do that and I will not pardon him.
00:07:21.000 But let me ask you, will you accept the jury's outcome, their verdict, no matter what it is?
00:07:26.000 Yes.
00:07:28.000 And have you ruled out a pardon for your son?
00:07:30.000 Yes.
00:07:31.000 This nation was founded on the principle there are no kings in America.
00:07:35.000 Each of us is equal before the law.
00:07:41.000 No one is above the law.
00:07:43.000 Each, each of us is equal before the law.
00:07:46.000 The American principle that no one is above the law was reaffirmed.
00:07:51.000 In my administration, no one is above the law.
00:07:55.000 Breaking news shows the president has discussed pardoning Hunter Biden with some of his closest aides, at least since Hunter Biden's conviction in June.
00:08:05.000 They decided at the time that he'd publicly say he would not pardon him, even though it remained on the table.
00:08:12.000 So basically, we're just going to lie.
00:08:14.000 It is the same cabal That told you the vaccine was safe and effective.
00:08:21.000 The same group of people that told you that you need to have six feet of social distancing.
00:08:26.000 The same people that told you these early treatments like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine were horse-paced and was going to kill you.
00:08:33.000 The same people that told you the virus came from some wet market in Wuhan.
00:08:40.000 Same people that told you that Vladimir Putin was going to march through Europe And he's the new Vladimir Putin that Ukraine is vital to American national security.
00:08:50.000 The reason Trump won is because we don't trust any of these people.
00:08:55.000 This is Corrine Jean-Pierre saying that no one is above the law.
00:08:59.000 Play cut 31. The president believes no one is above the law.
00:09:04.000 And the president met the moment talking about how no one is above the law here.
00:09:08.000 Does the president have any intention of pardoning him?
00:09:12.000 We've been asked that question multiple times.
00:09:14.000 Our answer stands, which is no.
00:09:16.000 And they've lied about it repeatedly.
00:09:20.000 You see, the media here doesn't Quite understand what's going on here.
00:09:26.000 Let's play cut eight.
00:09:27.000 Earlier in the evening, the president released a statement reading in part, there has been an effort to break Hunter, who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution.
00:09:39.000 In trying to break Hunter, they've tried to break me.
00:09:43.000 And there's no reason to believe it will stop here.
00:09:46.000 Enough is enough.
00:09:48.000 And just now, Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social account, quote, Don't you just love that they have to read his Truth Social word for word?
00:10:06.000 You could tell they just hate it.
00:10:08.000 They hate it.
00:10:11.000 If your approach to everyday aches and pains is to mask them, you know, feel better for a few hours only to have the pain return and then repeat the cycle all over again.
00:10:21.000 It's time to try Relief Factor.
00:10:23.000 And the good news is Relief Factor makes it quite easy.
00:10:26.000 Their three-week quick start is just $19.95, less than a dollar a day.
00:10:31.000 Instead of masking pain, Relief Factor helps eliminate it.
00:10:35.000 How?
00:10:35.000 Well, its unique formula of natural ingredients helps support your body's response to inflammation.
00:10:41.000 Relief Factor was developed by doctors.
00:10:43.000 It's 100% drug-free.
00:10:45.000 And for so many people, the results are game-changing, even life-changing.
00:10:49.000 So give it a try, right?
00:10:50.000 Right now, their three-week quick start is just $19.95.
00:10:55.000 Go to relieffactor.com or call 1-800-4-RELIEF. That is 1-800-4-RELIEF. See how in a few weeks or even a few days, Relief Factor can reduce your pain.
00:11:04.000 So don't mask your pain, fight naturally with Relief Factor, relieffactor.com.
00:11:10.000 This does open the door, by the way.
00:11:12.000 It moves the Overton window for President Trump to get very aggressive on pardons out the gate.
00:11:17.000 Now, by the way, he didn't need that kind of signal to do that.
00:11:21.000 But the January Sixers need full pardons.
00:11:24.000 And especially, especially any of the nonviolent January Sixers.
00:11:29.000 When you look at Siaka Masakwai, who just took a step into the Capitol, boom!
00:11:34.000 Facing federal prison time.
00:11:36.000 The praying grandmothers that went on Capitol grounds.
00:11:39.000 Not only that, every active investigation surrounding January 6th needs to be dropped.
00:11:46.000 Every single one.
00:11:47.000 And also, what should be...
00:11:48.000 I'm sorry, there's one thing that should be investigated.
00:11:51.000 How many federal agents were there on January 6th?
00:11:54.000 And who planted the pipe bombs?
00:11:57.000 Can we get a pipe bomb investigative czar?
00:12:00.000 Now, I'm not a big fan of special counsels, but can we put Jack Smith on that one?
00:12:05.000 Jack Smith, who planted the pipe bombs?
00:12:08.000 Kamala Harris almost died.
00:12:09.000 You want to talk about a threat to democracy?
00:12:11.000 Imagine if the DNC and the RNC would have blown up On January 6th.
00:12:16.000 That would be a threat to democracy.
00:12:18.000 Who did that?
00:12:19.000 Who planted the pipe bombs?
00:12:20.000 And why has no one been arrested?
00:12:22.000 Why don't we have the cell phone pings to be able to tell who that is?
00:12:27.000 Who is there?
00:12:29.000 The rising Truth and Reconciliation Commission could look into a lot of these things.
00:12:37.000 Adam Schiff...
00:12:39.000 Introduced a bill back in 2018 to keep Trump from abusing pardon powers for his family.
00:12:47.000 Where's Adam Schiff now, the new senator from California?
00:12:50.000 Play cut 28. So the president's pardon of Scooter Libby, Congressman, has inspired you to propose new legislation.
00:12:56.000 What exactly would it do?
00:12:59.000 What it would do is say that in the event the president pardons anyone in an investigation in which the president is a witness, a subject, or the target, those investigative files will all be turned over to the Congress.
00:13:11.000 The Congress ought to know whether the president is using the pardon power To obstruct justice.
00:13:18.000 The American people have a right to know.
00:13:20.000 I think it is clearly constitutional.
00:13:22.000 It doesn't prohibit him from granting a pardon, even a pardon he shouldn't grant.
00:13:27.000 But it does say that we will be able to at least find out whether the president is using this power to shield himself from liability.
00:13:35.000 It offers transparency, at the very least.
00:13:38.000 Transparency.
00:13:39.000 I am curious.
00:13:40.000 Our resident historian, Blake, can do this.
00:13:43.000 Is this the first...
00:13:46.000 Family presidential pardon in American history.
00:13:49.000 Like immediate father-son, father-daughter.
00:13:52.000 It's not?
00:13:53.000 Okay, there have been others.
00:13:54.000 Oh, Bill Clinton did...
00:13:55.000 I didn't know he pardoned his daughter.
00:14:00.000 I didn't know that.
00:14:01.000 Oh, he pardoned his brother.
00:14:02.000 Okay.
00:14:02.000 Has anyone pardoned their biological...
00:14:05.000 Not just their biological...
00:14:06.000 Their kids.
00:14:07.000 I know that Trump pardoned Jared Kushner's dad.
00:14:11.000 It's interesting.
00:14:13.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com and subscribe to our podcast.
00:14:18.000 And yeah, it was technically Clinton's half-brother, I think was the closest.
00:14:24.000 President Trump, day one, has a mandate to issue mass pardons and commutations across the board.
00:14:31.000 And if you read Joe Biden's Description as to why he did this.
00:14:37.000 He says, oh, no one really trusts the Department of Justice.
00:14:40.000 Interesting, Joe Biden.
00:14:42.000 Your Department of Justice is the one that went after Donald Trump to try to throw him in prison for 700 years.
00:14:48.000 You went around saying that nobody is above the law.
00:14:53.000 And again, I mean, a father has to look after his son.
00:14:57.000 I tweeted that immediately.
00:14:58.000 It doesn't get me as fired up on the actual action of doing it.
00:15:01.000 It's a bad look, no doubt.
00:15:04.000 It smells of corruption.
00:15:07.000 Hunter Biden is a stone cold criminal.
00:15:10.000 You can't fault a father for looking after his son.
00:15:13.000 You can't.
00:15:15.000 However, you can fault a president for desecrating the office of the presidency.
00:15:20.000 And both those things can mutually be true.
00:15:23.000 I want to just kind of go deeper into...
00:15:26.000 What the Kash Patel nomination represents.
00:15:29.000 And I want to hear from you, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:15:32.000 What do you think about Kash Patel being nominated as FBI director?
00:15:36.000 You see, there's this misunderstanding that the FBI is its own branch of government.
00:15:42.000 That the DOJ is its own independent agency.
00:15:45.000 That is not correct.
00:15:46.000 The Department of Justice and the FBI answer directly to the President of the United States.
00:15:53.000 Woodrow Wilson Who won in a spoofy election in 1912 with a plurality but not a majority of votes against William Howard Taft and Teddy Roosevelt as Teddy Roosevelt was doing the Bull Moose party after he was upset and the direction that William Howard Taft went became president.
00:16:12.000 Woodrow Wilson ushered in a new philosophical contagion You could call it a governmental virus into the American body politic.
00:16:24.000 Woodrow Wilson believed that the form and the structure that the founding fathers put forward, the executive branch, the legislative branch, and the judicial branch, those three co-equal branches of government with tension and with separation of powers, that was an antiquated model.
00:16:41.000 Woodrow Wilson was the first president to vocally oppose And to speak against the founders and their intent for America.
00:16:52.000 He said, we need to bring in and usher in a new way of governing.
00:16:57.000 And that way he looked at was very similar to a John Dewey and Hegelian way of viewing history.
00:17:04.000 But it was about creating bureaucracies that were not necessarily accountable to the executive, accountable to the legislative, but they're a council of experts.
00:17:17.000 You see, Woodrow Wilson, being a college professor himself, saw this as an opportunity to be able to bring in the smart people to run government.
00:17:30.000 Cass Sunstein is a modern equivalent as an inheritor of this belief.
00:17:35.000 So Woodrow Wilson set up this 100-year detour away from the founder's vision of government.
00:17:46.000 Over the last hundred years, we have seen more federal agencies be formed than Americans could list.
00:17:51.000 In fact, I'm helping out with the presidential transition team wherever I'm needed, and I look at some of these agencies.
00:17:57.000 I've never heard of them before.
00:17:59.000 ORIRA, you know, commissions and boards that you would...
00:18:03.000 You were like, what do these people do all day long?
00:18:06.000 Why do you exist?
00:18:09.000 What is your purpose?
00:18:10.000 What is your task?
00:18:11.000 And they couldn't even tell you.
00:18:12.000 Oh, our purpose is to make sure the GBIP and the DDAP and the FT work together with the W4. Like, what?
00:18:22.000 And it's all this acronym speak and it merges together in a very, very confusing way.
00:18:30.000 But more importantly, is it's not what the founders intended.
00:18:35.000 This is what we call the fourth branch of government.
00:18:37.000 The fourth branch of government is an unaccountable, unknown, unelected bureaucracy that is against the will of the American people.
00:18:47.000 And we are going to see the greatest climax of that war, started with Woodrow Wilson, come to fruition this coming administration.
00:18:56.000 The question is, who is in charge of America?
00:18:59.000 Is it the people or the bureaucrats?
00:19:04.000 Is it the American people that are sovereign?
00:19:08.000 Or is it this unelected ruling class?
00:19:12.000 This career civil service that runs the country?
00:19:16.000 Who is in charge?
00:19:18.000 Is the presidency a ceremonial role where you do ribbon cuttings, Christmas parties, host Little League baseball champions, bring the Super Bowl winner over and smile when the bureaucracy runs the government?
00:19:31.000 Or does it have teeth?
00:19:33.000 Does it have real meaning in our country?
00:19:36.000 That is the open question in front of the country right now, in front of what is going to happen with this new Trump administration.
00:19:43.000 The secret police of the fourth branch of government is the FBI. The FBI is the enforcement arm of the administrative state.
00:19:55.000 The FBI was never actually chartered by Congress.
00:19:59.000 It started as a Bureau of Investigation, By Attorney General Charles Bonaparte and grew into now one of the most powerful organizations, one of the most unconstitutional organizations in American history.
00:20:16.000 President Calvin Coolidge first appointed J. Edgar Hoover to the Bureau of Investigation in 1924. J. Edgar Hoover grew the Bureau of Investigation into The Leviathan that we know is the FBI today.
00:20:36.000 J. Edgar Hoover, you have to look at this guy, and I'm not going to get into some of the alleged weird parts of his life, which are not even necessarily proven.
00:20:44.000 But it's interesting.
00:20:45.000 How did J. Edgar Hoover survive as FBI director from 1935 to 1972?
00:20:54.000 Think about that.
00:20:55.000 He was FBI director for 37 years.
00:21:00.000 That is not normal.
00:21:01.000 To be in charge of a country's secret police for 37 years, you better believe that he had blackmail on almost every single elected leader.
00:21:11.000 And that was a strategy that he embraced.
00:21:14.000 He served under FDR, served under Truman, served under Dwight D. Eisenhower, served under JFK, served under Lyndon Baines Johnson, served under Richard Nixon.
00:21:27.000 Hoover expanded the FBI beyond just crime fighting, and he led the charge to make the FBI an intel agency.
00:21:36.000 The FBI has never, and still to this day, does not have a congressional mandate to collect intelligence on the American people.
00:21:46.000 It has a mandate to enforce laws that are currently on the books.
00:21:50.000 And you can make a good argument, why does the FBI even exist in the first place?
00:21:55.000 It was not part of the founders' vision to have a standing Red Guard that could be deployed against political dissidents, which of course is what it does today.

00:23:09.000 We all saw the pictures during Floydapalooza of FBI agents wearing masks, kneeling.
00:23:16.000 Of FBI agents marching in gay pride parades.
00:23:22.000 The FBI has become the muscle of the woke.
00:23:27.000 The FBI was once one of the finest fighting forces against crime in the 70s and 80s.
00:23:32.000 And even earlier than that.
00:23:34.000 And has turned into a disgusting, repulsive version of its former self.
00:23:39.000 President Trump appointing the very qualified Kash Patel to become FBI director is an attempt to realign what the FBI should be.
00:23:51.000 Reporting directly to the President of the United States.
00:23:54.000 You see, the media believes the FBI should be its own island.
00:23:59.000 Can't touch it.
00:24:00.000 Can't see it.
00:24:01.000 They rule themselves.
00:24:03.000 They govern themselves.
00:24:04.000 No one can even ask questions of them.
00:24:06.000 They have superseding authority over the entire federal government.
00:24:13.000 This is MSNBC's reaction to Kash Patel becoming FBI director.
00:24:18.000 Listen carefully to Tim Miller, PlayCut30.
00:24:21.000 Is there enough backbone there, do you think, to defeat multiple nominees?
00:24:25.000 I don't know.
00:24:26.000 I think it's possible.
00:24:27.000 And look, we saw it with Matt Gaetz already, and I think I was actually surprised how quickly that happened.
00:24:32.000 To me, Kash Patel, and I don't say this lightly, is the most dangerous nominee that we've seen yet to our democracy.
00:24:41.000 I mean, you might think that having Pete Heggs is running the military is a greater level of danger because of his lack of experience or Tulsi Gabbard at intelligence.
00:24:47.000 But just as far as You know, the threats to democracy that we were warning about before the election.
00:24:53.000 And Kash Patel was a key player inside the Trump White House pushing for and orchestrating the coup attempt in 2020. He was trying to completely take control of the Justice Department at the time.
00:25:09.000 He was Trump's top lieutenant who was willing to do anything and advance any lie in service of his attempt to overturn that last election.
00:25:17.000 To such a degree that there were many people that were Trump appointees in 2020 who were standing in the breach and saying, no, not Kash Patel.
00:25:29.000 You cannot put Kash Patel as a temporary leader of the Justice Department, etc.
00:25:34.000 These are Trump appointees.
00:25:36.000 And so, you know, we'll see what happens in the Senate, but if Trump had people around him that were quasi-loyalists that were like, that guy's too far, who knows what that'll mean for the Senate.
00:25:46.000 Now, if you listen carefully, they're talking about the independence of the FBI. Wait, hold on.
00:25:53.000 Either the FBI falls under the president's jurisdiction or it does not.
00:25:58.000 The FBI should not operate as an intelligence gathering service on the American people, which, by the way, is completely and totally unconstitutional.
00:26:08.000 The FBI has used the Patriot Act to spy on your text messages, to look at your emails, to go after completely innocent people and be this massive information gathering service where our freedoms and our liberties evaporate.
00:26:22.000 But more importantly, Kash Patel will reform the FBI and say, get out of DC and go after child sex traffickers.
00:26:28.000 Why are there thousands of FBI agents at desks every single day?
00:26:33.000 What do they do?
00:26:34.000 If you want to keep your badge, go into the field, Find the bad guys.
00:26:39.000 Go find drug smugglers.
00:26:41.000 Go find sex traffickers.
00:26:42.000 Don't go after political opponents just because they have Trump Facebook posts that you don't like.
00:26:49.000 What you are witnessing and what is about to unfold is a 100-year clash and battle of the Wilsonian view of government versus the founders.
00:27:02.000 And we'll see who wins.
00:27:03.000 Joining us now is Michael Seifert from Public Square.
00:27:06.000 Michael, great to see you.
00:27:07.000 Happy Cyber Monday.
00:27:08.000 Tell us about everything happening at Public Square.
00:27:10.000 Good to see you too, Charlie.
00:27:12.000 Well, as we experienced a monumental and historic win on November 5th in the world of politics, we are also experiencing win after win in the economic space.
00:27:21.000 There is a Main Street revival taking place.
00:27:24.000 Small businesses across this country are being flooded With traffic and new consumers, as consumers are rejecting the mainstream retailers that they feel have really abused them for a long time, lectured them about social issues and acted more like progressive political organizations rather than functioning companies.
00:27:43.000 And so small businesses in America are feeling energized after a Trump win, which was desperately needed.
00:27:48.000 And on Black Friday, they saw your support.
00:27:52.000 On Small Business Saturday, they certainly did.
00:27:54.000 And today on Cyber Monday as well.
00:27:56.000 The small businesses of our great country deserve your support.
00:28:01.000 We've got incredible deals on Public Square from businesses that are made with clean ingredients, non-toxic ingredients like Alpinia Labs that's phenomenal at home care and essentials.
00:28:12.000 We've got great meat from companies like Biltong Barron.
00:28:16.000 We've got new watches if you're looking to buy a gift for a husband or A brother as you head into the Christmas shopping season from brands like the 2A Watch Company.
00:28:26.000 Charlie, there is a new Renaissance era at our doorstep if we're willing to run into it.
00:28:32.000 And I really sense that over the past few months, the frustrations that consumers have felt and the business owners have felt is now starting to experience a little bit of a light and tunnel as Trump won and as we're heading into what should be a very bright next four years for our small business economy.
00:28:48.000 So, All is good over here at Public Square, and we're encouraging consumers to continue supporting businesses that make the American community strong, and they can do that at PublicSquare.com.
00:28:58.000 So we're seeing more and more brands reject DEI like Walmart.
00:29:02.000 What do you think is behind that, Michael?
00:29:03.000 You seem to have been on the cutting edge of that for years.
00:29:06.000 Well, Charlie, I think it's twofold.
00:29:08.000 Number one is that they have recognized the writing on the wall.
00:29:11.000 Consumers do not want to buy what they have been selling.
00:29:14.000 So whether that's Walmart, Harley-Davidson, John Deere, Target, Bud Light, you're seeing brand after brand try to recover From their disastrous choices they've made out of corporate boardrooms over the past few years related to DEI and ESG. So in large part, it's because of you.
00:29:31.000 It's the watchers of this show.
00:29:32.000 It's you, Charlie, that have pushed back and have tried to pull the alarm to alert folks of what's going on in our economy.
00:29:39.000 The other thing I would say is that I think the political wins of the past few weeks have also communicated a very loud message that it's probably not ideal to go against the majority of the country.
00:29:54.000 Just like there was a clear mandate on November 5th with the win of not only the Electoral College but also the popular vote, I think you're starting to recognize a lot of companies seeing that there's an overall zeitgeist happening right now.
00:30:07.000 And if a company wants to stay in good graces with the American consumer, they cannot continue to cater to a tiny fringe majority or minority of the country, while the majority is actually wanting for these brands to embrace meritocracy again, excellence again, patriotism again.
00:30:25.000 So I think it's twofold.
00:30:27.000 It's a little bit of a push from American consumers that have made it clear through boycotts and through shifting their purchases.
00:30:33.000 And I also think there's a writing on the wall displayed through our political environment that makes it clear to the Walmarts of the world that what they were embracing in 2020, 2021, 2022 is not popular with the American people.
00:30:47.000 And it took a wide cultural awakening through this election to finally communicate that loud and clear.
00:30:52.000 Well said.
00:30:52.000 Go to publicsquare.com.
00:30:54.000 Michael, thank you so much.
00:30:55.000 Good to see you, Charlie.
00:30:56.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
