00:01:11.000 Hey, how you guys doing?
00:01:14.000 Wow, what an awesome crowd, dude.
00:01:18.000 We love you too.
00:01:20.000 So George, for some of the people in the audience that might not be familiar, introduce yourself, your line of work.
00:01:26.000 Yeah, my name is George Janko.
00:01:28.000 I have a podcast.
00:01:29.000 I also like to tell jokes.
00:01:31.000 But recently I've came to the conclusion that Jesus has to go through every door with me.
00:01:37.000 If it's...
00:01:38.000 If it's work, if it's personal, if it's a relationship, if you have to leave Jesus at the door, then might as well leave yourself there and welcome my God in because I'm not going to do that no more.
00:01:48.000 I'm going full 100%.
00:01:53.000 Did you always feel that way, George?
00:01:55.000 You know what it was?
00:01:56.000 I grew up very blessed.
00:01:58.000 You know, a lot of people win the lottery.
00:02:00.000 Some people might have been born into royalty.
00:02:04.000 I was born a bit higher than that.
00:02:07.000 I was born with a mother that taught me about Jesus Christ.
00:02:12.000 And when you have that love of Jesus Christ, when a mother is doing her due diligence and teaching you about our Lord and our Father is maybe not with His words but by His actions teaching you how a man should be.
00:02:25.000 When I came out to chase my dreams, I'm ashamed to say I left Jesus at the door.
00:02:31.000 Not because I wanted to or not because people were trying to get me to, but it's because my own heart, which was wicked and I didn't know Scripture well, I relied on myself.
00:02:41.000 And I left them at the door.
00:02:42.000 And it wasn't in a rude way where I'm like, Jesus, you stay here.
00:02:45.000 It was like, I'll be right back.
00:02:47.000 I'm going to go do this.
00:02:48.000 And then I'm going to welcome you in.
00:02:50.000 And then 10 years went by and I'm like, how am I happier flipping at like a Burger King than I was like doing this career?
00:02:58.000 And it was because I left my peace and joy at the door.
00:03:02.000 And so when my career was at a place where it was almost for me time to go home, I said, you know, I'm going to do this one last time, but instead of leaving him at the door, I'm going to do this with just me and him.
00:03:16.000 And it was just overnight.
00:03:18.000 He took a boy that was ready to go home that was broken and lost, and he rebuilt him to be a man that...
00:03:24.000 I'm not yet completely proud of, but if I keep walking and like you said with obedience, which is the hardest thing to tackle, but My prayers now isn't, God, I want this.
00:03:36.000 It's, God, I want you to look down and be proud of the man that I am.
00:03:40.000 And if I'm not there yet, take these feet and put them where they need to be, where you look down and you're pleased with me.
00:03:46.000 And that's very consistent with the theme of, here I am, Lord, use me.
00:03:49.000 For everyone to understand, George has millions and millions and millions of followers.
00:03:54.000 George, you were part of a community that did not always, let's just say, glorify Christ.
00:03:59.000 Is that fair to say?
00:04:00.000 No.
00:04:01.000 Yeah, but they could be looked at exactly like how I was, right?
00:04:05.000 When you said the obedience thing, I've come to learn that there could be people that unfortunately don't know who Jesus is that act more like a Christian than a man who claims that he knows God.
00:04:17.000 And so I've came to the conclusion, I understand why Jesus says, forgive them for they don't know.
00:04:25.000 So yeah, I was with people that may have not respected our Lord the way that me and you would, but that's just because they don't know.
00:04:32.000 And so as you've gone through this journey and you talk to a lot of Gen Zers, you have become open about your faith more so than anything else.
00:04:40.000 Talk about how that has grown you and do you care if you lose followers or that you get people that say, stop talking about Jesus so much?
00:04:50.000 Yeah, um, you know, I think the cool thing is when I redid everything with God, I kind of changed it and it was like a new slate.
00:04:58.000 I would post a video and I would look how many likes.
00:05:00.000 Where is it coming from?
00:05:02.000 How are we doing this?
00:05:02.000 We need to get a thumbnail.
00:05:04.000 We gotta get this.
00:05:05.000 We gotta get her to do something.
00:05:06.000 Well, maybe you wouldn't be proud of that.
00:05:08.000 It's for the clickbait.
00:05:09.000 It's not really bad.
00:05:10.000 My brain was always fake, fake, fake.
00:05:12.000 Let's grow.
00:05:13.000 Fake it till you make it.
00:05:14.000 That's how Hollywood said it.
00:05:15.000 And, uh...
00:05:16.000 When I went with Jesus, like, it was just such easy success that it felt weird even claiming it that it was mine.
00:05:22.000 So it's no question you saw George Janko 10 years busting his butt, doing everything you could, nothing happened.
00:05:30.000 The day he just gave it to his Lord, everything fell at my feet.
00:05:34.000 And to be honest, I'm not saying this patting myself on the back, I'm saying this, if you're working for something, I promise you everything you're praying for in your heart, everything that you work for, everything that you, I'm sorry to say this, worship, If you see eye to eye truly with our Lord and Savior and you get on the same page of them, all of those will be placed at your feet and you want to kick them out of the way because it has no candle compared to the peace and joy that I have when I'm just sitting reading my scripture.
00:06:05.000 I love that.
00:06:07.000 Talk about what you have learned about the best ways to communicate the gospel to a younger generation.
00:06:14.000 Because we are told that Gen Z is the most secular generation in history.
00:06:19.000 What have you learned as best practices to share your faith effectively?
00:06:24.000 To be honest, I think, okay, so if you're going through something right now and you're working really hard and God's not blessing it, It's probably because it's your heart that wants that and it's not God's that wants that.
00:06:37.000 Because our God is a very generous God and He's not going to hold something that's good for you.
00:06:42.000 And when I stopped forcing things that He doesn't want and I just was obedient, I'm like, alright, if it's meant to be, if it's in your will, then let it be.
00:06:51.000 That's when it presented itself.
00:06:53.000 And I became this man on stages now that talks about Jesus constantly.
00:06:58.000 But that's not how I started it.
00:07:00.000 The show was called The George Janko Show.
00:07:02.000 And so I just wanted to be authentic.
00:07:04.000 And what I did is I took my sins and I put them on the table and I said, okay, this is what I'm dealing with.
00:07:09.000 And I'm going to show the world how my step-by-step, even the ones where I'm ashamed to show it.
00:07:15.000 But I think that's the best way you could communicate with a younger generation.
00:07:19.000 Because now we live in a world where every single one of you guys know that when you look at the media, what do you first think?
00:07:24.000 I don't believe it.
00:07:26.000 It's fake.
00:07:28.000 But when you see a man who's truly broken and looking for God and really, really humbled himself and is meek, then I think that's when the ears could listen.
00:07:36.000 And that's why I would like...
00:07:38.000 I know a lot of you guys might have a different opinion of the other side, the other team.
00:07:43.000 But truly, I say, I think it's because they don't know.
00:07:47.000 So I think if there was a kid on the other side of the fence and they were going towards where Satan wants them to be and he sees us...
00:07:56.000 Children of God, pointing our fingers, bashing at them, disrespecting them, and negating the fact that they probably came from a broken home.
00:08:05.000 And that's why their fruits are like that, because their roots are like that.
00:08:09.000 But our God is not calling us to be like the devil.
00:08:12.000 He's calling us to be like Jesus.
00:08:13.000 And let me tell you something.
00:08:15.000 I don't know how much you guys despise the other side and the corruption.
00:08:19.000 But I promise you, the distance between us and them is very, very, very small compared to the distance from us and Christ.
00:08:29.000 Very, very, very small.
00:08:31.000 And so if you could remember that Jesus came down and he truly spoke from his heart...
00:08:37.000 And he preached with his actions by loving and communicating with the ones that they didn't want to love and communicate with.
00:08:45.000 And through that actions, the other people on the other side of the team were like, oh, why am I getting more love from this guy that I'm supposed to hate more than my own family?
00:08:55.000 More than my own friends?
00:08:58.000 The only weapon Satan has is lying.
00:09:01.000 And they lied to the other team.
00:09:04.000 They brainwashed them.
00:09:05.000 But I'm sorry to say this.
00:09:07.000 They did that to us.
00:09:08.000 When they said, we have to get them out.
00:09:11.000 We have to fight.
00:09:13.000 I promise you, if we play the same rules that Jesus did, and we don't have to accept their sins and say, okay, let's just go along with it.
00:09:21.000 I'm not saying that.
00:09:22.000 I'm saying, hold your feet where they should be, but be meek and humble.
00:09:28.000 And invite them into our homes instead of kicking them out.
00:09:33.000 So George, talking about sharing the gospel, the modern gospel usually goes something like this, which is, if you give your life to Christ, you're going to become infinitely wealthy and your life will be very easy.
00:09:46.000 That is a misleading way to try to bring people to Jesus.
00:09:50.000 Instead, it should go something closer to, here is God's perfect law, you cannot hold that law, and you need Christ Jesus.
00:09:58.000 Talk about where you think the modern gospel has failed in recent times and how we can do a better job.
00:10:04.000 I disagree with you.
00:10:06.000 Alright, it's our first debate.
00:10:08.000 Are you guys ready for this?
00:10:10.000 We get up and leave.
00:10:12.000 We fight.
00:10:13.000 After I just said don't fight with other teams.
00:10:16.000 I think what they're pushing is the love aspect.
00:10:19.000 And I think that it's right and it's wrong.
00:10:23.000 If you're teaching a man that you could keep sinning and God's gonna love you, well that's a lie.
00:10:27.000 Because, I don't know, who's married here?
00:10:30.000 Who's married here?
00:10:31.000 Sir, if you were like to your wife, hey, I love you, but this girl from Subway, man, I just met her, I want to go to...
00:10:37.000 That doesn't make sense.
00:10:38.000 There's no love there.
00:10:40.000 There's regulations, there's boundaries, there's respect.
00:10:43.000 So if you love your God, you're going to do the same thing that your God did for you, and that is sacrifice.
00:10:49.000 He sacrifices life, which means you can sacrifice your addictions, you can sacrifice your point of views if you know it goes against God.
00:10:58.000 Okay, amen.
00:11:00.000 But the aspect of how can I teach, how can we stop telling them that there's joy and peace and there's all this, I don't agree because I promise you, and I say this before you, and I pray that God uses me as an example, but I promise you that if God took away my career, And I was just mowing lawns or wiping a desk or just refilling people's drinks.
00:11:23.000 I promise you, if you gave me a kingdom with all the millions but then gave me a job that God gave me, the peace and joy that God gave me here would be way greater than what they could give me over here.
00:11:37.000 So I can't say that.
00:11:39.000 I cannot say that if you go to Jesus that you're not going to be in peace and you're not going to be in joy.
00:11:44.000 You absolutely will.
00:11:46.000 But that's if you truly seek a relationship, not a fake relationship.
00:11:51.000 And when you have a real relationship with Jesus Christ...
00:11:54.000 And you know who Jesus is and what he did and the separation between this pile of dirt and the glory of God.
00:12:03.000 It's no question.
00:12:04.000 You're going to run to what's right.
00:12:06.000 I think the people that are not obedient to Jesus is because they don't know.
00:12:11.000 They just don't know.
00:12:13.000 They don't know the scripture.
00:12:15.000 Okay, here's one thing.
00:12:16.000 There's a lot of people dealing with identity issues.
00:12:19.000 You guys know about this, yeah?
00:12:21.000 In all shapes and forms.
00:12:25.000 But I tell you this, and I truly, truly say this with my heart.
00:12:28.000 If you have an identity issue, it's because you don't know who created you.
00:12:38.000 You do not know who created you.
00:12:40.000 If you had a Honda, you wouldn't bring it to Ferrari.
00:12:42.000 They wouldn't work on it.
00:12:43.000 They don't know what it is.
00:12:45.000 So what happens is our parents, not my parents, but America, our parents, we left our kids at the school system.
00:12:53.000 And we said, you deal with it.
00:12:54.000 But then years later, we get mad at them for how they deal with it.
00:12:59.000 I'm not saying what they did was right, but parents, get your roots in order.
00:13:07.000 Stop blaming the government.
00:13:10.000 Stop blaming the schools.
00:13:13.000 Because you know what?
00:13:14.000 I had the same type of schooling, but when I got home, my parents taught me what respect is.
00:13:19.000 They taught me who Jesus was.
00:13:23.000 And they did not spare the rod.
00:13:29.000 So talk more about that.
00:13:31.000 When you were growing up, was honoring your mother and father a core value of the house you grew up in?
00:13:37.000 It still is.
00:13:38.000 I have my new covenant.
00:13:40.000 I just got engaged.
00:13:42.000 And thank you.
00:13:43.000 I appreciate that.
00:13:44.000 Thank you.
00:13:46.000 And when we were dating, and my parents, you know, like a lot of immigrant parents, they have a little harder rules.
00:13:52.000 But in the very beginning, and I think this is what's hard, is people want to plant something, and then when it grows, they expect it to be something else.
00:14:03.000 So when you, for example, young ladies, when you date a guy, and you're like, he's great, but if he was like this, he would be better.
00:14:13.000 Right?
00:14:13.000 You're not in love with him.
00:14:15.000 You're in love with potential.
00:14:16.000 That's potential.
00:14:17.000 You should be in love with patterns, what he's showing you.
00:14:21.000 And what I showed my fiance before I put a ring on her and I promised God and her father, is I showed her a man that came from the man that my dad was.
00:14:32.000 And my dad taught me about respect.
00:14:33.000 So when we're at the head of the house, I don't care how successful, how much money, how much power.
00:14:38.000 I had attorneys, I had agents, I had friends saying, you don't know, your dad doesn't know, you should put him behind.
00:14:44.000 My dad, I put him at the CEO of my company.
00:14:49.000 Does he know about Hollywood?
00:14:51.000 No.
00:14:51.000 But he knows me and he knows God, so we'll do it together.
00:14:57.000 And so a nation that honor your mother and father so that you may live long in the land of which you are in is the only one of the Ten Commandments that involves a promise and a nation.
00:15:07.000 The country is no longer honoring their parents, both metaphorically and literally, and we are living through that.
00:15:15.000 Instead, it seems as if there's a pattern of dishonoring one's parents.
00:15:19.000 This is a serious issue, and I feel as if we are focused on trying to save America, it must start with restoring the honoring of one's parents.
00:15:35.000 100 million percent.
00:15:37.000 If you can't honor your mother and father, I promise you, you can never honor your heavenly father.
00:15:44.000 If you break that order, that's why I say this.
00:15:48.000 And a lot of people, when I first said this, a lot of people were like, whoa, don't say that, bro.
00:15:52.000 A lot of girls are going to get mad.
00:15:54.000 But I confidently told the world, I run my household.
00:15:58.000 God put me in charge.
00:16:01.000 I run my household.
00:16:04.000 But then on the other hand, he asked me to serve.
00:16:07.000 Right?
00:16:08.000 So you see all those men out there pounding the chest.
00:16:11.000 I'm a man.
00:16:12.000 I'm going to lead.
00:16:13.000 Punch that dude in the face and steal his girlfriend.
00:16:16.000 That's not a man.
00:16:17.000 That's a coward.
00:16:19.000 That's a man who didn't have a man raise him.
00:16:22.000 A real man would respect a woman in all shapes and forms.
00:16:28.000 Even when I was single and I was misbehaving and I was sleeping around, I wouldn't disrespect a woman because that could be somebody's mother one day.
00:16:36.000 And I don't want to go to heaven and say, hey, you added her to go to hell more than heaven.
00:16:43.000 And I think we kind of forget this.
00:16:45.000 I think it's so uncomfortable to say what you mean to somebody.
00:16:49.000 Just having a conversation about Jesus Christ.
00:16:52.000 Why do you think it's uncomfortable?
00:16:54.000 Why?
00:16:56.000 Why do you think it's uncomfortable to sit in an elevator and ask somebody about a scripture, but it's totally fine to ask them about an OnlyFans model?
00:17:05.000 Why?
00:17:07.000 Because Satan made it uncomfortable.
00:17:11.000 That's why.
00:17:13.000 And so now when I get uncomfortable, I smile and I go, alright, what blessing lies here that you don't want me to do?
00:17:22.000 I'm not going to sit here and tell you guys that I have it figured out.
00:17:26.000 I don't.
00:17:28.000 But I promise you, if you do these two things, miraculous miracles will happen in your life.
00:17:37.000 First, get to know who Jesus Christ is.
00:17:42.000 Second, wake up every single day trying to be like Jesus Christ.
00:17:49.000 And that's super hard!
00:17:52.000 That's so hard.
00:17:55.000 But isn't it a good thing that our God is not judging us now?
00:17:58.000 That He loves us?
00:18:00.000 I'm going to ask you guys, you don't have to answer this, but if you had two kids, one cared zero about how you felt and did whatever he want, but there was one that failed you a lot, but you could see the tears in his eyes and the pleading in his heart and That he's lost and confused.
00:18:22.000 You would pick that child up, wipe his tears off and say, let's do it together.
00:18:25.000 Come on.
00:18:26.000 So what I'm saying is, if you don't have it figured out, if you're lost, if you wake up every day questioning, why did Jesus die for me?
00:18:35.000 I disrespect him every day and I sin every day.
00:18:38.000 If you hold that in your heart, be proud.
00:18:43.000 Be very, very proud that you are worried about what Jesus Christ thinks of you.
00:18:48.000 Because I think the reason why we came to this place in our country is because we kicked God out and we stopped caring what He thinks.
00:18:56.000 Amen.
00:18:56.000 So in closing here, George, we're all very focused here about saving the country, fighting for liberty, fighting for freedom, which is ultimately God's idea, not man's idea.
00:19:07.000 What wisdom do you have to share for the audience here as we close this conversation?
00:19:13.000 Alright, there's one that I'm working on right now and I was asking God, I go, if I had to like leave something, I pray that he uses my mouth and that I could open up your hearts.
00:19:23.000 And I pray that if there's somebody out there that has a hardened heart, I pray that the Holy Spirit opens it up for this one moment.
00:19:29.000 And it's to love and forgive your neighbor.
00:19:33.000 If you love and you forgive your neighbor and you pick up his slack because he's disobedient and not wise, we could rebuild with the Holy Spirit.
00:19:42.000 None of us could do what the Holy Spirit could do.
00:19:46.000 All of us could come together right now, grab our friends, grab our families, and we still wouldn't be able to hold a candle to what the Holy Spirit could do.
00:19:54.000 So start inviting the Holy Spirit into your workplace, your school, your friends, your finances.
00:20:03.000 Every single place that you walk into, ask Jesus to walk before you and take your mouth, take your eyes, take your ears.
00:20:10.000 Because when I look out into the world and I see our music and I see our movies, Satan took our children's eyes and ears.
00:20:16.000 And it's time that we take it back from him.
00:20:19.000 George Shanko, everybody.
00:20:21.000 Thanks so much, man.
00:20:21.000 That was great.
00:20:22.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
