00:00:43.000 And I encourage you to do the same.
00:00:45.000 Here I am.
00:00:46.000 Lord Musemy.
00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:49.000 Here we go.
00:00:56.000 The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold, the leading gold and silver experts and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.
00:01:09.000 All right, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:01:11.000 Hour two is underway.
00:01:13.000 We're going to be talking about polling.
00:01:15.000 There's been some polling news, and it really gets to the heart of a bunch of questions that we have about foreign versus domestic focus of this administration, the economy, what's going on with ICE rates.
00:01:26.000 Here to help us unpack it is Rich Barris from Big Data Poll, the people's punt.
00:01:31.000 Welcome back to the show, my friend.
00:01:33.000 Thanks for having me back.
00:01:34.000 Absolutely.
00:01:34.000 I appreciate it.
00:01:36.000 Well, so you were early on this, where, and you highlighted this in some of your polling that voters, Trump's base, feel that there's perhaps maybe too much focus on foreign issues, whether that be Iran, Venezuela, Israel, Ukraine, not enough on domestic issues, meaning, you know, I guess the economy, affordability.
00:01:59.000 So we talked about that, I feel like a couple months ago now, Rich.
00:02:02.000 And now the Wall Street Journal is chiming in, and they had this big article that it's Trump's economy and voters are unhappy with it.
00:02:11.000 Wall Street Journal poll finds.
00:02:13.000 Go ahead and throw up 245.
00:02:16.000 Our friend Robert Barnes highlighted this on X.
00:02:21.000 I thought it was very telling.
00:02:22.000 What is Wall Street Journal now?
00:02:25.000 How come they have become alerted to the same dynamic that you were calling out months ago, Rich?
00:02:30.000 And CBS also polled it and released a poll this weekend.
00:02:33.000 Very similar.
00:02:34.000 I mean, it's our question wording almost verbatim.
00:02:36.000 Andrew, it only took them four months to catch up, like I told you, right?
00:02:39.000 This was a problem we identified months and months ago.
00:02:42.000 And actually, it's on Big Data Poll.
00:02:44.000 People can go check it out.
00:02:45.000 It's the White House focus tracker.
00:02:48.000 And this has never been done before, but I started to wonder why.
00:02:52.000 Why has this never been done?
00:02:54.000 Because it has long become a problem for presidents.
00:02:57.000 They'll lament after they get out of office that I had so much I wanted to do with the domestic agenda, but I got entangled with foreign stuff and it just overshadowed my presidency.
00:03:06.000 This has long been a complaint going back to Woodrow Wilson.
00:03:10.000 He had a big domestic agenda that got swallowed up by the Great War, of course.
00:03:14.000 Look, the president's job is, of course, one that is dealing.
00:03:18.000 They're almost the chief diplomat of the country, but it's about optics.
00:03:22.000 And this is, I think, particularly, this problem is particularly exacerbated with Donald Trump because he ran as America first president.
00:03:31.000 And he ran saying that, you know, for too long, our elites have put the needs of other nations and the needs of the blob and the needs of military industrial complex, you know, elitists ahead of the needs of the forgotten man and woman.
00:03:44.000 And they will not be forgotten any longer.
00:03:47.000 I mean, that's verbatim out of Donald Trump's mouth.
00:03:49.000 But he's just gallivanting with foreign entanglements day after day.
00:03:54.000 Well, so this is what's interesting.
00:03:56.000 We've got this image.
00:03:57.000 This is also from the Wall Street Journal poll.
00:03:59.000 And this is what I'm trying to reconcile here, Rich, because 232, if you could throw it up in the middle here, guys, it says, who's best able to handle border security?
00:04:10.000 That would be R plus 28.
00:04:11.000 Immigration, R plus 11.
00:04:13.000 Economy, R plus 6.
00:04:14.000 Inflation rising prices, R plus 6.
00:04:16.000 Foreign policy, R plus 5.
00:04:17.000 Russia-Ukraine war, R plus 5.
00:04:19.000 Tariffs, having the right priorities.
00:04:22.000 Democrats score better on health care, vaccine policy, which is shocking.
00:04:26.000 I completely agree on both fronts, but whatever.
00:04:29.000 Look out for the middle-class families, D plus 3.
00:04:32.000 Caring about people like you.
00:04:33.000 I feel like that's one they'd always ask about in 2004.
00:04:36.000 Yeah, that's a throwback.
00:04:38.000 So explain to me this, I guess it feels like it's a tale of two polls, but it's one poll.
00:04:46.000 So we're scoring better on all of these issues, and yet they're still unhappy with prices.
00:04:52.000 We have, you know, the GDP is through the roof.
00:04:57.000 Rising prices, it's hard to make prices drop, although the gas prices are way down.
00:05:01.000 You know, you've got utility bills are way down, especially in red states.
00:05:06.000 Where is the disconnect?
00:05:08.000 Is it just messaging?
00:05:09.000 Two things.
00:05:10.000 One, definitely.
00:05:10.000 It's messaging.
00:05:11.000 But two, it's also where each of those issues falls as a priority for voters.
00:05:16.000 Obviously, inflation is number one.
00:05:18.000 Cost of living and inflation is number one.
00:05:20.000 Generally, the economy and jobs is number two.
00:05:23.000 After that is healthcare, though.
00:05:25.000 So that's important because in our polling, I remember going back in the midterms in 2014, Democrats actually were still more favored slightly, you know, to deal with healthcare, yet they got punished on it because they did something the American public didn't want them to do.
00:05:41.000 They went too far and Republicans kept promising that they were going to repeal and replace it.
00:05:46.000 Of course, they didn't, but that's what they did.
00:05:49.000 And then in 16, of course, you still had Republicans actually eke out an advantage with healthcare, but because they didn't move on it when Trump was elected and Paul Ryan had a bigger majority, they got punished for it.
00:06:02.000 So some of this is about priority.
00:06:04.000 And the second part about this is the messaging, and we did a show on this the other day.
00:06:08.000 You can exactly see where the administration's message got off track, just started getting muddled.
00:06:14.000 It was when they started to turn away from the Doge element of their agenda.
00:06:19.000 The daily conversation was about domestic stuff and reform and accountability.
00:06:24.000 I think I have this.
00:06:24.000 It's 244.
00:06:26.000 This is that image.
00:06:27.000 This graph's going to be hard for people to probably grasp on the screen here because there's a lot going to be.
00:06:33.000 But this is a timeline of President Trump's administration so far.
00:06:37.000 And you can see the blue line is the favorability at the top.
00:06:41.000 So it looks like right around, we peaked, what, around February, February, March time period?
00:06:48.000 February, March.
00:06:49.000 Yeah, I think that's right.
00:06:50.000 And you can kind of see what happens.
00:06:52.000 You can see that the Epstein, you can see bombing Iran, make Iran great again on True Social, big drop.
00:07:01.000 And, you know, we're kind of still, we got back to par with when, but then Donald Trump and Elon Musk have their big falling out over BBB and Doge.
00:07:11.000 And the Epstein issue blows up.
00:07:13.000 He goes in the negative again.
00:07:14.000 So we're still upside down, according to your polling, a little over two points, 2.4.
00:07:19.000 It's going to get a little worse when we it's going to be a little worse when we release our latest.
00:07:23.000 It just hasn't updated yet.
00:07:25.000 But if people go to Real Clear Politics, of course, you have all the trash thrown in that average with it.
00:07:30.000 All of the people who didn't even have Donald Trump positive in approval when he was honestly almost 20 points positive.
00:07:36.000 I mean, during the highlight of his second term, Donald Trump's approval rating was ridiculous, unthinkably high in our polling compared to what we had seen in the past all these years.
00:07:48.000 He's been a public figure and a president.
00:07:51.000 But even with all of those other polls that are in the mix in the Real Clear Politics Average, you will see the same trend.
00:07:57.000 And you'll see where it looks like maybe they're going to write the ship again and then something else happens and it widens out.
00:08:03.000 And then that trend is just continued and continued.
00:08:06.000 Over the weekend, he actually hit a second term low.
00:08:09.000 And I think it's, if we go, if we had time to go over some of the what we call elaborated responses when we're interviewing people, we give them the interview and then we say, do me a favor, just take a few minutes, or don't if you don't want to, but we'd like you to take a few minutes and tell us why you answered the way you did with these questions.
00:08:27.000 And this weekend really was bad for the president because they felt like he was getting back on track.
00:08:33.000 And now everyone's just expecting, Andrew, everyone is just expecting within the next like couple of days to a month, nobody ever knows with Donald Trump.
00:08:41.000 They're just expecting him to bomb Iran and they're disappointed.
00:08:44.000 And again, you know, I thought we were going in the right direction here.
00:08:47.000 Now, and a lot of people on the right are more concerned.
00:08:51.000 You and I talk a lot about this.
00:08:53.000 One guy that was just interviewed about 40 minutes ago, he put it better than I even could.
00:08:58.000 You know, we have an ICE issue we have to deal with.
00:08:59.000 There's immigration problems going on right now.
00:09:02.000 Every second that you spend talking about whether or not we're going to bomb Iran and regime change is a second you waste telling the story to the American public about why ICE is out there doing what they have to do.
00:09:14.000 You know, and even he himself said, as of right now, I understand why people are angry with ICE and I understand why it looks like they're not trained well enough.
00:09:23.000 I mean, we just seeded the, until a few weeks ago, until the shooting, we just seeded that argument to the left.
00:09:30.000 And they have been free since late last year to just tell the American public whatever story they wanted to tell them about ICE.
00:09:36.000 And now we're playing catch up.
00:09:37.000 And, you know, it's just Washington doesn't walk and chew bubblegum very well at the same time.
00:09:42.000 So, Rich, we obviously have some friction on ICE over the events in Minneapolis or bad PR with certain types of raids.
00:09:50.000 Do you interpret this as something we've said, both of us have said, this is clearly a huge issue that they kind of need to win.
00:09:56.000 They can't lose in Minneapolis where they're not enforcing.
00:09:59.000 Is this something they power through that if they keep enforcing the law, people get used to it in the same way that they got used to Obamacare, which was unpopular at first?
00:10:08.000 Well, we may have to go into a break here, but 20 seconds.
00:10:11.000 What's your initial thought there?
00:10:13.000 You know, that's a complicated response, but initially I'll say this.
00:10:16.000 I think they can power through it if they give the correct message.
00:10:19.000 It's just right now they're so far behind.
00:10:23.000 Most voters that are just like ignore me voters, Blake, do want ICE to like kind of back off a little bit until the administration explains to them better what they're doing.
00:10:32.000 I totally agree, and it's frustrating because I think that's the exact wrong reaction.
00:10:38.000 Hey, everybody.

00:11:56.000 Do it now.
00:11:59.000 Blake.
00:12:00.000 Yeah, let's continue on this.
00:12:01.000 You're powering through with ICE.
00:12:03.000 So you say they feel like they want to back off until it's explained better.
00:12:08.000 Well, we clearly don't want them to back off.
00:12:09.000 I think that would be a big loss.
00:12:11.000 But what is the explainer side of things that you think it's missing?
00:12:15.000 When people give these poll responses, what do they want to see from ICE that they're currently not seeing?
00:12:21.000 Number one, there's a huge confusion over what constitutes.
00:12:26.000 So we always say they're the worst criminals.
00:12:28.000 They're only deporting criminals.
00:12:30.000 If you ask the average American what constitutes a crime that puts you on the top of ICE lists, they have no idea.
00:12:36.000 So, and they don't automatically trust that these people are drug dealers, they're murderers, they're whatever rapists, because the left is telling another story.
00:12:45.000 The left is telling a story that you could have had a parking ticket that you didn't go in and pay and they came and ripped the child out of your hands.
00:12:52.000 I mean, this is what they're actually hearing.
00:12:55.000 And as of right now, there's just complete confusion over what would put you at the top of that list.
00:13:00.000 You know, we spoke to a Trump voter in Texas for a focus group, and he basically said, you know, I'm 100% on for ICE.
00:13:07.000 I get that, but I do have a neighbor who's been living next to me for 25 years.
00:13:11.000 Like, if he forgets to pay the toll, you know, are they going to come get him?
00:13:14.000 Does that just put you on the list?
00:13:17.000 You know, this guy is, he's been waiting for a green card forever.
00:13:20.000 He's been waiting for legal status forever.
00:13:22.000 So there's just even among Trump's own voters, there are people who think, until I understand this better, I'm not sure I want this.
00:13:31.000 And then also, which I did try, and this, you guys will know this better than most.
00:13:37.000 The left has a violence problem.
00:13:40.000 And ICE wears masks because if they're doxxed while they're out doing their job, some lunatic could come to their house and hurt their wife and children, right?
00:13:49.000 We know that.
00:13:50.000 We do.
00:13:50.000 And unfortunately, we know it better than most.
00:13:53.000 But the American public doesn't know that.
00:13:55.000 The administration, the right, we just did not do a good enough job explaining to people that ICE is not running around with masks on because they're like stormtroopers, you know, or the, you know, whatever other word the left wants to use to describe them that we all know is, you know, an outrageous link, but that has worked.
00:14:13.000 It's been effective.
00:14:15.000 And I mean, going back, what do I got, 30 seconds here?
00:14:18.000 Going back to late last year, going to the fall last year, we began to hear this and tried to put the flare in the air and say, look, you have to explain to people why they do it the way they do.
00:14:30.000 Otherwise, we have a real problem.
00:14:33.000 It just doesn't look good.
00:14:34.000 No, I love where your head's at here.
00:14:36.000 And there's this great viral clip I'm going to show that I think kind of gets to some of this.
00:14:41.000 249. We're here to arrest a child sex offender.
00:14:48.000 And you guys are out here honking.
00:14:51.000 No, we're pressing.
00:14:54.000 That vehicle right there is honking and impeding our investigations while we're trying to arrest a child sex offender.
00:15:01.000 That's who you guys are protecting.
00:15:04.000 Insane.
00:15:06.000 Yep.
00:15:07.000 That went viral.
00:15:08.000 Thankfully, make that guy the spokesperson.
00:15:10.000 Run an ad.
00:15:10.000 Yeah.
00:15:11.000 Yeah, make that guy.
00:15:12.000 Yeah, run an ad.
00:15:13.000 You're totally right, Rich.
00:15:14.000 We need to start doing PSAs.
00:15:16.000 We need to get aggressive on this stuff because this is all very plain if you have two eyes.
00:15:21.000 But I agree that the Joe Rogan sentiment is basically where the country's at right now, which Joe Rogan, to remind people, went on his podcast and he said he talked about them being masked.
00:15:32.000 He's like, what are we?
00:15:33.000 Are we really have we really become the Gestapo?
00:15:35.000 Are we really letting this show us your papers thing?
00:15:38.000 Well, here's the problem.
00:15:39.000 We had 10 to 15 million illegals invade this country under four years of an open border.
00:15:46.000 And guess what?
00:15:46.000 Cleaning up that mess sometimes gets messy.
00:15:48.000 But in the totality of all of the 650,000 deportations, we know that about 70% of those have committed an additional crime after entering the country illegally.
00:15:58.000 And we also know that there's only about 170 instances of a mistaken identity, meaning that they apprehended a citizen or somebody that was not supposed to be apprehended.
00:16:08.000 Those got rectified instantly.
00:16:11.000 That's a 99.98% success rate.
00:16:14.000 They are doing an incredible job, but Blake has a controversial take on this.
00:16:19.000 You don't think that they should be masked anymore.
00:16:22.000 So what I would say is, if one of our biggest losing issues is the fact that these guys are masked, maybe we should bite the bullet and say, and that might lead us to better ICE agents, too.
00:16:32.000 We'll get the bravest ones, the most committed ones.
00:16:35.000 But sometimes you have to take a hazard for the sake of the country.
00:16:39.000 And if whether we're able to save this country from illegals comes down to are our agents masked or not, I think we have to say you guys are going to have to go out.
00:16:48.000 And if someone harasses you at your home, if someone attacks you, you have the absolute right to defend yourself and those people will be arrested.
00:16:56.000 But especially given there are thousands of them, there is some strength in numbers.
00:17:00.000 Your odds.
00:17:01.000 And also, I'll add to that, they're already getting doxxed anyway.
00:17:04.000 They have websites they run in the Netherlands who got the addresses that post the personal information.
00:17:11.000 They're getting this information anyway because they have hackers, they have criminals, they love to do this sort of thing.
00:17:17.000 It's a full-time obsession for them.
00:17:19.000 They're going to do it anyway.
00:17:20.000 I just, I don't think the upside is there for us to wear the masks.
00:17:25.000 If that is, if Rich is correct, that that's one of the things that hurts ICE and the polls so much.
00:17:29.000 Yeah.
00:17:30.000 Absolutely.
00:17:31.000 Can I just respond to that?
00:17:33.000 And I agree with Blake.
00:17:34.000 I mean, I do.
00:17:36.000 I'm not questioning anybody's bravery.
00:17:38.000 Of course, these guys do an amazing job, but there are two things with this.
00:17:42.000 One, ICE is not doing a very good job of controlling the area.
00:17:46.000 And it's not just ICE's fault.
00:17:47.000 Other law enforcement should be helping.
00:17:52.000 And if they're not giving their cooperation, then there should be punishment for that.
00:17:56.000 And the Trump administration is sitting on their hands while people are essentially breaking the law in blue states and in blue cities.
00:18:02.000 Well, punish them.
00:18:04.000 You know, people won't be as brave as Waltz and Fry and others when they see somebody get locked up for it.
00:18:04.000 And guess what?
00:18:10.000 Andrew, if local law enforcement or even the FBI pull up at somebody's house to arrest a drug dealer, affect a warrant or an arrest warrant, the place is on lockdown.
00:18:20.000 You're not allowed to have 10 people across the street honking horns and throwing stuff.
00:18:24.000 That doesn't happen.
00:18:25.000 They take control of the environment.
00:18:28.000 Done better.
00:18:29.000 They wouldn't need masks, you know, as much as they think they do, but they're being doxed anyway.
00:18:33.000 They're being doxxed anyway.
00:18:35.000 I totally agree.
00:18:35.000 And here, so I think the president should come out and do a full message to the nation, a sort of, you know, do it from the oval, do it, whatever.
00:18:45.000 And he needs to lay out some very simple facts.
00:18:48.000 You can coordinate with ICE and you won't get raids.
00:18:51.000 Or you can do what Virginia has just done.
00:18:54.000 After, by the way, a huge bust of a bunch of sex criminals, illegals, the next, very next day, Spamberger comes out and ceases all cooperation with immigration enforcement.
00:19:06.000 And if you choose that route, well, then you're going to get ICE raids.
00:19:10.000 That's the choice you have as a state, but not enforcing immigration law is not an option.
00:19:14.000 The supremacy clause is still in effect.
00:19:17.000 Immigration goes through the federal government.
00:19:20.000 States, you do not get the right to just completely subvert the will of the people, the will of the voters, and the federal government and our laws.
00:19:26.000 Secondly, you know, I know for a fact, Rich, that there's a bunch of budget left over on recruiting immigration officers, ICE agents.
00:19:34.000 It was in the big, big, one big, beautiful bill.
00:19:36.000 Yeah, they met recruitment goals basically immediately because it's very popular and people want to help their nation.
00:19:42.000 So God bless them.
00:19:44.000 So instead of making memes or glamour shots of certain leaders in the administration, what we need to do is we need to start, take what money's left, go do a big ad campaign, put that guy's face on it, saying you're getting in the way of us arresting a sex predator.
00:20:00.000 You need to stop it.
00:20:01.000 This is insanity.
00:20:03.000 You do not, if you are a mom, if you are a liberal woman, a leftist out on the streets saying, I want my community to be more inclusive, and you are defending sex predators and child rapists and drug smugglers on your streets, you're a dumb, dumb person.
00:20:18.000 Let me just edit myself really quickly.
00:20:20.000 You are not smart and you are getting lied to.
00:20:22.000 You're getting propagandized by a psyop from the left that wants you to think that these are all Gestapo agents.
00:20:27.000 No, they're keeping you safe.
00:20:28.000 They're keeping your child safe.
00:20:30.000 Sorry.
00:20:30.000 Go ahead, Blake.
00:20:31.000 Look, the PSA thing that you said is so important.
00:20:36.000 It's more than just with ICE, too.
00:20:38.000 Democrats have, Republicans have to change the way they do things because Democrats have a 24-7, 365 during election season, during off cycles.
00:20:48.000 They have a constant communications thing, working from media to the entertainment industry to even if you have an iPhone, Apple's doing their job for them with push notifications, with headlines that fit them.
00:21:00.000 The right has to realize that this is not just three months before an election or six months before an election.
00:21:05.000 All Thanksgiving went by, Andrew, without a single ad being run during football, those football games, which had enormous ratings.
00:21:13.000 They could have reached basically everybody in the country.
00:21:16.000 They did nothing.
00:21:17.000 Instead, they waste their money, you know, dressing up like dogs as an excuse to get drunk on a Saturday night.
00:21:22.000 I mean, it's ridiculous.
00:21:23.000 Rich, I got to go.
00:21:24.000 This was great, though.
00:21:25.000 Thank you.
00:21:26.000 We'll talk to you soon.
00:21:27.000 Thanks, guys.
00:21:30.000 This is Lane Schoenberger, Chief Investment Officer and Founding Partner of YReFi.
00:21:34.000 It has been an honor and a privilege to partner with Turning Point and for Charlie to endorse us.
00:21:40.000 His endorsement means the world to us, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Turning Point for years to come.

00:22:16.000 It may not be available in all 50 states.
00:22:17.000 Go to yrefi.com.
00:22:19.000 That is yrefy.com.
00:22:22.000 Let's face it, if you have distress or defaulted student loans, it can be overwhelming.
00:22:26.000 Because of private student loan debt, so many people feel stuck.
00:22:29.000 Go to yrefi.com.
00:22:30.000 That is why.com.
00:22:33.000 Private student loan debt relief, yrefi.com.
00:22:38.000 Peter Schweitzer, he is exposing something that is truly insidious, and that is birth tourism, how our elites are using the birthright citizenship loophole, which needs to be abolished.
00:22:53.000 And they're going to Saipan.
00:22:55.000 Chinese pregnant women are going to Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, which is a U.S. territory.
00:23:01.000 Some figures put this number at $100,000, $150,000 a year.
00:23:05.000 This has been going on for about 15 years.
00:23:07.000 We're talking about a million to 1.5 million Chinese that could be voting in 2030, could be voting in 2028.
00:23:17.000 But they've grown up in the CCP.
00:23:20.000 They've grown up in China.
00:23:21.000 And now because we are idiots and we have continued on with this birthright citizenship and you've got tourism and you've got people dropping off anchor babies, then what happens?
00:23:34.000 Then they get into country, and when they're 21 years old, then they can use chain migration, family reunification to bring their family members over, reunite with their family members.
00:23:45.000 No, I mean, bring in family members.
00:23:47.000 You're eligible for U.S. citizen-only welfare programs, U.S. citizen-only loans.
00:23:54.000 If you wanted to go to United States, you can go to United States College and get United States citizen tuition.
00:24:01.000 Everything's available, and it's for these scions of wealthy foreign elites.
00:24:05.000 And it's this ticking time bomb because they were doing this.
00:24:08.000 We've cut down on this a decent amount, but they were doing it in a totally uncontrolled way 18, 20, 25 years ago when China was first starting to really become wealthy.
00:24:19.000 And now this time bomb is coming due.
00:24:22.000 And it's absolutely infuriating because even if, even if you granted that the 14th Amendment stupidly allows this, Congress and our states could easily, they should easily just go and vote and say and do an amendment that 100% clarifies nobody who's doing this particular loophole is a United States citizen.
00:24:43.000 They could easily vote to pass that.
00:24:44.000 And the fact that they don't is incredibly sinister because you can't help but wonder who basically wanted to make the donation to make sure that that would just never happen, that there's always going to be a way for foreign elites to have a back door to get United States citizenship and everything that that comes with.
00:25:02.000 Yeah, well, and they're doing it obviously as I believe the CCP is behind it.
00:25:08.000 They're intentionally gaming the system.
00:25:10.000 And it begs the question: why do we allow this to continue?
00:25:15.000 And it's because Democrats want to transform the electorate.
00:25:18.000 They hate America as it's currently constituted, as it's historically been constituted.
00:25:18.000 They do.
00:25:23.000 They hate capitalism.
00:25:25.000 They hate our European heritage.
00:25:26.000 They hate the Constitution.
00:25:27.000 They hate all of these things.
00:25:29.000 And they think the way that their terrible ideas, which have never been able to gain majority support and traction in this country, the only way to do that is to import a foreign electorate, completely transform the body politic with people that will be more amenable to what they believe.
00:25:47.000 And why would we do this in an era where you can do birthright citizenship?
00:25:51.000 The 14th Amendment, even if you made the argument that birthright citizenship was somehow supported by the drafters of the 14th Amendment, which it was clearly not, if you actually look at the oral proceedings that happened right around the drafting of the amendment, they clearly did not want foreigners to be involved.
00:26:07.000 It was to give freed slaves citizenship because they were born and raised in America.
00:26:12.000 But even if you did that, the drafters had no conception that air travel was going to be a thing.
00:26:18.000 They had no conception that you could get a ticket from China to America for about like 800 bucks and drop off a baby in a U.S. territory in the Pacific.
00:26:28.000 And all of a sudden, that baby would then have full voting rights in the United States.
00:26:32.000 They had no conception of that.
00:26:34.000 So this whole thing is absurd on its face.
00:26:37.000 It needs to be repealed.
00:26:38.000 The Supreme Court announced on December 5th, 2025, so a little over a month ago, that it would review the birthright citizenship case known as Trump v. Barbara.
00:26:48.000 And it's going to be here hearing oral arguments in the spring of 2026.
00:26:52.000 So this year, so likely in April or May, we're going to get hearings, oral arguments for that.
00:26:57.000 A final decision is anticipated by the end of the court's term, so late June or early July 2026.
00:27:02.000 So hopefully the court is going to rule the right way on this.
00:27:06.000 A lot of people seem to be very skeptical that they are going to do so, but nevertheless, I'm hopeful.
00:27:12.000 I think it's one of the more clear-cut examples.
00:27:16.000 If you have any spine, if you have any common sense, you would read the oral arguments that happened in the drafting.
00:27:23.000 You would read the language.
00:27:24.000 You would read the actual precedent.
00:27:27.000 There was a civil rights law passed before this that actually was more well-written.
00:27:33.000 It was more clearly defined.
00:27:34.000 But anyway, so I'm hopeful that birthright citizenship is going to get cleared up.
00:27:38.000 We could discuss the mask question.
00:27:41.000 We're getting a very big response.
00:27:42.000 All right, fine.
00:27:43.000 Let's discuss it.
00:27:44.000 Would we have some emails that we can a lot?
00:27:46.000 I want to get Jennifer Welch, though, so this is actually a happy accident.
00:27:49.000 But let's start with a mask question.
00:27:51.000 I will say the response is overwhelmingly hostile to me, which I'm used to.
00:27:51.000 All right.
00:27:55.000 Response is usually overwhelmingly hostile to me in this office, too.
00:27:59.000 But you do get some pushback.
00:28:02.000 I give you a good amount.
00:28:03.000 And people point out, and it's all true.
00:28:06.000 ICE agents do face threats.
00:28:08.000 ICE agents do face harassment.
00:28:10.000 They do want to harm ICE agents.
00:28:13.000 Accepting all of that is true.
00:28:15.000 But as we were discussing, if the best attack they have is, oh, they're masked and that means they're bad.
00:28:22.000 We have to.
00:28:22.000 We've talked about how important it is to not cede the ground that ICE is a paramilitary, that ICE is some like Gestapo, that ICE is anything but normal police.
00:28:33.000 And one of the things that's important with normal police is if they're not on a tactical or undercover special operation, police officers do show their faces publicly.
00:28:41.000 It is important that they do so.
00:28:43.000 That is one of the things that shows that they are serving the public.
00:28:46.000 Well, and here's the thing: I think the people in this audience are very well educated.
00:28:51.000 They're very probably in the news.
00:28:53.000 They understand the dynamics.
00:28:55.000 We've talked about it a lot on this show.
00:28:57.000 Yes, ICE agents get doxxed.
00:28:58.000 Their lives are at risk.
00:29:00.000 Not long after Charlie was assassinated, there was a sniper attack on an ICE facility in Texas.
00:29:05.000 These people are, they've been rammed over 100 times in recent weeks.
00:29:09.000 They've been dragged by cars.
00:29:11.000 They have their lives threatened.
00:29:12.000 The National Guard are attacked, too, in D.C. 1,000%.
00:29:15.000 Yeah, I mean, that was a horrific, horrific thing.
00:29:18.000 So I'm sort of, I'm still processing your suggestion, but I understand where it's coming from because this audience is not necessarily the same audience that we need to convince the normies in the middle, right?
00:29:29.000 They're listening to Joe Rogan saying that because they're masked, they're the Gestapo.
00:29:34.000 So I'm sympathetic.
00:29:35.000 I'm sympathetic because, listen, this is the most important thing that I believe that's happening domestically.
00:29:41.000 What's happening in the economy?
00:29:42.000 What's happening in energy?
00:29:43.000 Those things are important.
00:29:44.000 The GDP going up.
00:29:46.000 The AI revolution, crypto, all of these things are critically important.
00:29:50.000 The onshoring of domestic manufacturing, critically important.
00:29:54.000 There is nothing more important than mass deportation.
00:29:57.000 That's what won President Trump the election.
00:29:59.000 That's what I believe is going to win Republicans the election in 2028.
00:30:03.000 If we keep on this path, we cannot lose this argument.
00:30:07.000 We cannot cede ground.
00:30:08.000 We cannot cede moral high ground either.
00:30:10.000 And so I'm sympathetic to this.
00:30:13.000 I don't want to put ICE agents' lives at any more risk than they already are.
00:30:17.000 I think they're heroes.
00:30:17.000 Trust me.
00:30:19.000 But we do need to do a better job messaging.
00:30:21.000 And maybe the first step before we consider that as an option is we need to actually have President Trump go out, give a national address, tell exactly what the dynamic is happening in the streets of Minneapolis and other places, and explain to states like Virginia.
00:30:34.000 If you're going to stop coordinating with ICE, then listen, you're going to leave us no choice but to get these predators and these bad people off the streets doing it the hard way.
00:30:42.000 You could do it the easy way, you could do it the hard way, but there's no option where you don't play along and obey federal immigration.
00:30:48.000 It could even be something as they'll be masked in any state where they're also a sanctuary state that doesn't cooperate with them.
00:30:54.000 There you go.
00:30:54.000 You can make it explicitly.
00:30:55.000 There you go.
00:30:56.000 Yeah, we'll take the masks off in Texas and Florida.
00:30:59.000 There's no need because we're doing controlled handoffs at the local jails when they get pulled over for whatever crime they've been pulled over for.
00:31:06.000 So, yeah, I believe that this is something that we should at least entertain.
00:31:10.000 But, you know, obviously our audience is not there yet.
00:31:14.000 So I want to get to Jennifer Welch, though.
00:31:16.000 This is a really important.
00:31:18.000 Okay, so like, go put your head back in the December 2024 timeline.
00:31:25.000 We were wondering whether Democrats were going to become more moderate.
00:31:30.000 They were going to learn the lessons of the election.
00:31:32.000 They got walloped.
00:31:33.000 They got thumped.
00:31:34.000 Or were they going to go more radical?
00:31:35.000 Well, Jennifer Welch is exhibit A, that they are going more radical.
00:31:40.000 She's getting completely mainstreamed.
00:31:42.000 This is what she said in August of 2025, just before Charlie was assassinated, 236.
00:31:47.000 Charlie Kirk, this is my prime example of MAGA men operating in fear.
00:31:54.000 He is the biggest titty baby on the planet.
00:31:57.000 Last month, he did.
00:31:58.000 You just defined for us.
00:32:00.000 Can you define that?
00:32:00.000 Can we get a quick sidebar titty baby definition?
00:32:07.000 So Charlie Kirk is the biggest titty baby.
00:32:10.000 He was in New York City a few weeks ago, and he put on his Twitter that guy who's giving Taylor Swift unsolicited advice.
00:32:17.000 He put, I've been in New York all weekend, and I haven't felt safe once.
00:32:21.000 And I'm like, I've been in New York for five days.
00:32:24.000 I've ridden the subway.
00:32:25.000 I've been all up and down.
00:32:27.000 I haven't felt unsafe.
00:32:28.000 Not one time, Charlie Kirk.
00:32:29.000 But these men advertise their cowardice.
00:32:33.000 What he did, that was a profile and cowardice.
00:32:36.000 We should give him an award for that.
00:32:37.000 That is the most pathetic thing.
00:32:40.000 About 10 days later, Charlie's life would be stolen by an assassin.
00:32:43.000 You despicable human being.
00:32:45.000 Now she's going after Jesse Waters.
00:32:49.000 238.
00:32:50.000 We have to go after these MAGA men.
00:32:53.000 One example would be Jesse Waters.
00:32:56.000 This man talks incessantly about masculinity.
00:33:00.000 Joe Biden is not masculine because he sucks on soup.
00:33:03.000 What kind of man sucks on a straw?
00:33:06.000 He goes on and on and on so much about the idealized man.
00:33:10.000 And that's a part of fascism, this, you know, propelling this form of toxic masculinity.
00:33:15.000 Why are you so obsessed with men, Jesse Waters?
00:33:19.000 What's all that about?
00:33:20.000 Why are you so obsessed with trans people?
00:33:23.000 Why are you thinking about genitals all the time?
00:33:28.000 President Trump walked into a catch-22 when taking office.
00:33:31.000 Do nothing, and America would be staring at a ticking debt bomb, the kind of crisis that could cripple our future.
00:33:36.000 Instead, he's taken action with strong policies to slow the train and buy us some time.
00:33:41.000 But the effects of past administration spending are still working through the system, and experts predict dramatic price increases and market uncertainty.
00:33:49.000 Trump is doing all he can, but no matter who's in office, protecting your retirement savings is ultimately up to you.
00:33:55.000 And that's why many Americans are turning to real assets like gold and silver.
00:33:59.000 Preserve gold is our go-to choice here at the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:34:02.000 We use them because they make it easy to own physical gold and silver even inside your retirement accounts like an IRA or 401k.
00:34:10.000 Now, hear from Charlie in his own words.
00:34:12.000 Preserve gold is my go-to choice for all my precious metal needs.
00:34:15.000 They are the real deal, and I recommend them to my friends, family, and viewers.
00:34:19.000 Get their free wealth protection guide now by texting Charlie to 50-505.
00:34:24.000 President Trump is fighting for America's future.
00:34:26.000 Now it's your turn to help protect yours.
00:34:31.000 This clip from Jennifer Welch, so she attacks Charlie, calls him a titty baby, which apparently is a southern expression for, you know, a child who hasn't weaned from the mom, complaining that he didn't feel safe in New York City.
00:34:45.000 10 days later, about 11 days later, he would be assassinated.
00:34:50.000 Now she's going off after Jesse Waters, saying that he talks about masculinity too much.
00:34:56.000 So do you see this?
00:34:57.000 And now we have other clips that I could show you where she's demanding prosecutions and you have elected officials leading, agreeing with her that as soon as they get power, they're going to prosecute us all.
00:35:11.000 Could be me and Blake.
00:35:13.000 Could be Steve Bannon.
00:35:14.000 Could be Christy Noam, Pam Bondi, President Trump.
00:35:19.000 And now she's attacking masculinity.
00:35:21.000 So we have attacks on churches and Christians.
00:35:23.000 We have attacks on masculinity.
00:35:25.000 We have attacks on white people.
00:35:27.000 We have attacks on federal law enforcement.
00:35:30.000 Calls for mass prosecutions and attacks on masculinity.
00:35:34.000 Do you see what they are attacking?
00:35:36.000 They are attacking the strength and the backbone that undergirds Western civilization.
00:35:41.000 At every point, they are attacking the things that they believe are impediments to their communist nirvana, to their far-left radicalism.
00:35:51.000 And it's a fast, I mean, perhaps there's historical precedent that comes to mind when you're talking about this, Blake.
00:35:57.000 But it's truly shocking.
00:36:00.000 And I'm going to pull up an image while you're going.
00:36:01.000 I mean, it's not shocking at all.
00:36:03.000 This is shocking.
00:36:05.000 I'm not a stock character.
00:36:06.000 I mean, Jennifer Welch, we had that discussion last week, what an awful is.
00:36:11.000 And Jennifer Welch is, she's just the photo in the dictionary next to it.
00:36:17.000 Nasty people.
00:36:18.000 I mean, she's so confident in calling someone a coward because she knows that she's extremely unlikely to ever face political violence because political violence is overwhelmingly the domain of the left, especially assassinations, especially that sort of unhinged targeted violence.
00:36:35.000 She knows that's the case.
00:36:36.000 And she knows she would approve it.
00:36:39.000 She would justify it.
00:36:40.000 Yes.
00:36:40.000 Yes.
00:36:41.000 Well, look at this.
00:36:41.000 This is what I'm going to tell you, right?
00:36:43.000 So throw up this image, 252.
00:36:46.000 This is from No Lie with Brian Tyler Cohen, right?
00:36:49.000 He's like a left-wing influencer guy.
00:36:53.000 So Virginia Democrats, this is how serious Democrats are.
00:36:56.000 And the question is, are we serious?
00:36:58.000 Are we serious?
00:37:00.000 Do we want to actually wield power when we have it?
00:37:02.000 This brings into question the filibuster.
00:37:04.000 This brings in the question, are we going to get the SAVE Act requiring voter ID?
00:37:09.000 There's new movement on the House side.
00:37:11.000 We're going to get into that this week.
00:37:13.000 Virginia Democrats, this is what he says, now have total control of the state government in Virginia and have immediately moved to do the following.
00:37:20.000 End police cooperation with Trump's ICE.
00:37:22.000 Pass new maps to combat Trump's gerrymandering and eliminate up to four Republican House seats.
00:37:28.000 So four House seats have just been wiped off the map in Virginia.
00:37:32.000 This is within weeks.
00:37:33.000 They've got all this done within weeks.
00:37:35.000 Enshrined LGBTQ plus rights in the state constitution.
00:37:39.000 Enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution.
00:37:43.000 Protect and expand voting rights, which just means open to more fraud.
00:37:47.000 Fire Republican appointees to the University of Virginia board.
00:37:50.000 Reestablish support for diversity and inclusion.
00:37:54.000 Accelerate a minimum wage increase and build more housing to lower rent prices.
00:37:59.000 They have an agenda.
00:38:00.000 And what really stinks with Virginia in particular, and it deserves some thought, it's so bad what happened in Virginia because at least with California and New York, they're actually messing it up so bad that the states are sort of disintegrating.
00:38:16.000 California's driving all their billionaires out with their wealth confiscation tax.
00:38:21.000 It just went viral.
00:38:21.000 They're trying to do audits on people who moved out of the state four plus years ago to try to hunt for cash.
00:38:27.000 And they might break Silicon Valley and it just won't come back because they could never rebuild it from scratch again.
00:38:34.000 But that's because California is far enough away from D.C. that they have to have a real economy ultimately.
00:38:39.000 And they tank it.
00:38:40.000 They're tanked industry as well.
00:38:42.000 If New York destroys the finance industry and it moves to Florida or moves to a new country, they're hosed.
00:38:49.000 But Virginia, because it has Washington, D.C. there, it just has the imperial capital that can pass a law to extract wealth from the rest of the country.
00:38:59.000 They can just get away with these insane things.
00:39:02.000 And they don't need to have a rational state because they can just go to the federal government and say, oh, pass more laws, take more money from the states that actually do things.
00:39:11.000 And then have a real economy.
00:39:12.000 And the employees will live in Northern Virginia.
00:39:13.000 And the federal employees will live in Northern Virginia and they'll get money paid for by you and me.
00:39:17.000 They're 100% recession-proof.
00:39:20.000 Their salaries don't go away when the economy crashes.
00:39:23.000 It's a very despicable and parasitic thing.
00:39:27.000 And for both Maryland, Maryland, I think, has the highest average income of any state.
00:39:31.000 It's not because they're well run.
00:39:33.000 It's just because they are a parasite on the rest of the country.
00:39:35.000 And now Virginia is that kind of parasite, too, and it's terrible.
00:39:38.000 Throw up 253.
00:39:40.000 He said, the left has never played by our rules.
00:39:40.000 This is Charlie.
00:39:43.000 Only we play by our rules.
00:39:45.000 Our rules are what keep our side from winning.
00:39:47.000 We either want to win or we will lose under some delusion that the rules mean anything.
00:39:53.000 And this is the question I think that's facing us right now.
00:39:55.000 When it comes to what's happening in Minneapolis, the showdown with state and local governments that refuse to remove child predators, murderers, sex traffickers, drug traffickers from the streets.
00:40:07.000 And they're trying to defy federal law.
00:40:10.000 This is the same question that comes with basically anything, right?
00:40:15.000 Abortion rights, LGBT coup rights.
00:40:17.000 They're going to prosecute us.
00:40:18.000 They're going to call us names.
00:40:20.000 They're going to call us fascists, Gestapo, all of these things.
00:40:22.000 The question is, we have the moral high ground.
00:40:25.000 Do we have the guts to see it through?
00:40:27.000 Do we have the strength of our own intestinal fortitude, of the strength of our own convictions?
00:40:32.000 Do we have the strength of our own Christian faith to see us through, to actually do real things?
00:40:36.000 And I will say, Trump, for all of his flaws, for all the things that you can get mad at, he has showed us that you can just do things.
00:40:43.000 Sometimes you can just do things.
00:40:45.000 And I think he has put a spine back into the conservative movement.
00:40:49.000 And Charlie talked about this in right-wing revolution.
00:40:53.000 Do you have the guts to use political power when you have it?
00:40:56.000 Well, we have it, at least at some level right now.
00:40:58.000 And I'm afraid that it's being squandered in too many places.
00:41:01.000 This is the time that we are facing an existential crisis in this country.
00:41:05.000 A crisis of do we have the will to use political power when we have it to do the right thing, to do things that are actually important, that actually that's why we fixated so hard.
00:41:15.000 They have to.
00:41:15.000 They have to win the showdown in Minneapolis, period.
00:41:18.000 Because it has become so important and so symbolic for the wider country.
00:41:22.000 If they can't follow through on doing immigration raids and deporting people in Minneapolis in the face of protests, in the face of screaming, in the face of harassment, in the face of organized systematic law breaking with the aid of a state government, if they back down against that after the election we won last year with this president in office, with this personnel in office, it's basically just never going to happen.
00:41:45.000 And that will be the message that our base takes.
00:41:47.000 So they'll be demoralized and the left will take it and they'll be inspired.
00:41:50.000 They have to win the deportation battle.
00:41:53.000 We have to win the deportation battle and we have to win the messaging war when it comes to that.
00:41:58.000 So my message to DHS, to ICE, use that money that's still there for recruitment.
00:42:04.000 Start getting PSAs out there.
00:42:05.000 Explain this.
00:42:06.000 Go over the airways.
00:42:07.000 Get on the AFC and the NFC championship games and the NFL.
00:42:11.000 Explain, make your case.
00:42:13.000 President Trump, have a national address.
00:42:15.000 Explain what's actually happening.
00:42:17.000 Explain why raids are happening when you refuse to cooperate with ICE and turn over criminals safely in a jail.
00:42:24.000 Explain why our ICE agents have to be masked to protect their own safety.
00:42:28.000 Explain the rise of the violent left.
00:42:31.000 Do all of those things.
00:42:33.000 Let's win this war.
