00:02:37.000 So, Senator, a lot happening right now in the U.S. Senate.

00:02:39.000 So just kind of walk our audience through a little bit of education first and foremost, then we'll get into the details.

00:02:44.000 What constitutionally is the advise and consent process?

00:02:50.000 What did the founders intend for this?

00:02:54.000 And how is it currently playing out?

00:02:57.000 The short way of describing it is that the advice and consent process is one in which the president nominates and the Senate confirms, meaning the Senate has the opportunity to, if you will, sort of veto.

00:03:11.000 It's like the veto, but in reverse order on the personnel front as opposed to the legislative front, Where the Senate and the House together will offer up legislation the president can veto.

00:03:21.000 Presidential appointees the president nominates, the Senate confirms.

00:03:26.000 It's a yes or no proposition at the end of the day.

00:03:31.000 Anytime you have the political party of the president aligned with the political majority in the Senate, normally you can expect to see a lot of cooperation among the senators, particularly the senators of the majority party, To confirm that president's choices.

00:03:48.000 It's not automatic, not presumed, of course.

00:03:50.000 But in the last four years, for example, where the Senate has been under the control of the Democrats during a Democratic administration, the Democrats basically never break ranks, particularly on the president's most important nominees, his key cabinet-level positions.

00:04:08.000 And I think that's one of the reasons why it's important for us as Republican senators right now to get behind President Trump's nominees.

00:04:15.000 Obviously, everybody's got their own decisions to make in each case, but particularly with key nominations that are of the utmost importance to the president, we should err always on the side of deferring to President Trump.

00:04:26.000 Yeah, of course.

00:04:28.000 And that is the mandate the American people gave.

00:04:31.000 Unless there's something so glaring, so troublesome, which of course is not there.

00:04:35.000 Senator, you have voiced support, I believe, for Pete Hegseth amongst other candidates.

00:04:42.000 Can you speak to why and your public case to your colleagues as to why they should support Pete Hegseth?

00:04:50.000 Yeah, I'm a big supporter of Pete Hegseth.

00:04:52.000 I hosted him.

00:04:54.000 In a meeting with about a dozen Republican senators Monday night here in the Capitol, he came in and met with us.

00:05:01.000 He outlined his bold vision for running the Department of Defense.

00:05:04.000 He acknowledged that we've got a lot of problems.

00:05:07.000 He acknowledged up front the job of the U.S. military and of the Department of Defense It's really to take care of the warfighter and make sure that the warfighter can do the warfighter's job.

00:05:17.000 The warfighter is to be intimidating, threatening, frightening even to our adversaries, our current and would-be adversaries around the world.

00:05:24.000 It is not to be woke.

00:05:26.000 It is not to fulfill some mandate from the far left wing of the Democratic Party's base.

00:05:34.000 That's what he is going to restore on day one.

00:05:37.000 He said, I walk into that building, once I'm confirmed, And the DEI stuff comes to an abrupt end that very first day.

00:05:44.000 That is exactly what we need right there, and it's one of the reasons I'm so proud to support him.

00:05:48.000 I'm also a big supporter of Cash Patel.

00:05:51.000 It's another really key appointment that the president needs to be able to make.

00:05:55.000 The FBI, like the Department of Defense, has a lot of problems in it, and Cash Patel is exactly the guy we need in there.

00:06:02.000 He knows where the bodies are buried, so to speak, metaphorically speaking, of course, although with the FBI, you never know.

00:06:08.000 Cash Patel scares people to death in Washington.

00:06:13.000 The swamp creatures are scared of Cash Patel and FBI and of Pete Exes and the Department of Defense because they know they will get to the bottom of what's wrong with both entities.

00:06:25.000 Do you believe that Cash Patel is likely to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate?

00:06:30.000 I do.

00:06:32.000 And for one simple reason, there isn't a good reason to oppose him.

00:06:37.000 And I would say that to Republicans and Democrats alike, there's not a good reason to oppose him.

00:06:42.000 It's important to remember, he's a guy who has a lot of important credentials, including being a former prosecutor.

00:06:50.000 That's the same credential that's been held by many prior FBI directors.

00:06:55.000 He incidentally has prosecuted more cases than Kamala Harris, who has spent a significant part of her career as a prosecutor.

00:07:03.000 So, Cash Patel also was the author of a A brilliant memorandum, at least a primary driver of this important memorandum when he was working for Congressman Nunes in the House that uncovered the Russiagate hoax.

00:07:18.000 As he's proven his ability, not only as a prosecutor but later on the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee staff, he's proven his ability to weed out corruption, to weed out falsehoods, to weed out the deep state's worst, dirtiest, nastiest, ugliest tricks.

00:07:35.000 That's why they hate him.

00:07:36.000 And that's also why we must confirm him.

00:07:38.000 I completely and totally agree.

00:07:41.000 And so speaking more broadly here, Senator, the Republican conference has an opportunity to send a signal to the rest of DC that it is not going to be business as usual.

00:07:54.000 Speak also to Tulsi Gabbard, Bobby Kennedy.

00:07:57.000 Yeah, I'm a huge supporter of both of them.

00:08:00.000 I know Tulsi well.

00:08:02.000 I worked with her when she was in Congress.

00:08:04.000 Worked with her on a number of religious liberty fronts.

00:08:08.000 She's a bold fighter, and I think she has been so strong in calling out abuses in Washington.

00:08:17.000 She herself has been the victim of a retaliatory deep state system that put her on the terror watch list, actually had minders, like spies, literally following her as she traveled around the country.

00:08:31.000 Totally unacceptable.

00:08:32.000 Bobby Kennedy, I don't know him as well.

00:08:34.000 I've met him only once.

00:08:36.000 He comes from a very different political background than I do.

00:08:39.000 But I respect and deeply admire the fact that he's one who's going to stand up against this sort of government, food, drug, industrial complex that very often has not led to better health outcomes.

00:08:55.000 I want to get your reaction very quickly as we close here, Senator, to this extraordinary clip.

00:08:59.000 New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg pushes for preemptive pardons.

00:09:13.000 It's not ideal to have an incoming potential head of the FBI, Kash Patel, who has published enemies' lists.

00:09:22.000 But one advantage of that is that he wrote a book, he has an enemies' list in it, so we know exactly who he has threatened to go after without cause.

00:09:37.000 Say, you know, and this is one reason I wish that the president was a better...

00:09:41.000 Okay, so Senator, one minute, your reaction to this idea that Joe Biden should be doing sweeping, preemptive pardons.

00:09:48.000 I don't think this has ever been done in American history.

00:09:50.000 Yeah, Charlie, right smack dab in the middle of her comments, of her little tirade there, with a two-word combination.

00:09:58.000 The words were without cause.

00:10:00.000 So she's saying Cash Patel has identified people who he wants to investigate.

00:10:05.000 Okay.

00:10:06.000 But she says without cause.

00:10:09.000 And because it's without cause, she insists that the need there for a pardon to insulate these people from legal accountability is so compelling in her mind, because it is without cause.

00:10:23.000 She presupposes the answer to the question that she poses, and she presupposes it in a way that is without foundation.

00:10:31.000 She hasn't established that it's without cause.

00:10:34.000 Ash Patel would beg to differ that it's without cause.

00:10:38.000 In any event, this would be an odd way of going about it.

00:10:42.000 We've got Gerald Ford pardoning Richard Nixon when that whole episode happened.

00:10:52.000 But when you're talking about a fairly wide net of saying, okay, let's look out for the people who we know that the incoming administration might have cause to realize Mike Warren investigation.

00:11:08.000 I'm not very familiar with the list that he's talking about.

00:11:11.000 I'm not going to weigh in on that and what he's going to do.

00:11:14.000 I can't speak for Cash Patel.

00:11:16.000 But to just throw a wide net out there and say we're going to pardon all these people prospectively because we think the incoming administration might have reason to investigate them, that's weird.

00:12:38.000 So the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, a major health insurance company that does over $400 billion in revenue, was in New York City for a shareholder meeting or for an investor meeting report.

00:12:53.000 And he was walking the streets of New York alone, which was kind of bizarre, no staff, no security, and was walking into the Hilton Hotel.

00:13:04.000 When he was about to walk in around 6.45 in the morning, a masked gunman with a firearm with a silencer attached, a very important detail, starts shooting at him.

00:13:17.000 First shoots at him in the leg, his gun jams, and then fires a shot that ended up killing him behind his back.

00:13:26.000 There was a woman that witnessed this on 122 with coffee and just kind of ran away. 0.99

00:13:33.000 This was obviously not a random shooting.

00:13:35.000 This was targeted.

00:13:36.000 Now, this doesn't seem to be like a professional assassin, but it does seem to be someone that 100% was targeting him.

00:13:48.000 The guy then wrote on the bullets, delay, deny, defend, on the shell casings that were left on the screen.

00:13:57.000 Inscribed were delay, deny, defend.

00:14:01.000 That is a common phrase about insurance companies.

00:14:05.000 In fact, the title of a book by Jane Feynman, Delay, Deny, Defend.

00:14:10.000 And so this is becoming more and more clear that this was a anti-health insurance killing or shooting.

00:14:18.000 Was this person hired for this?

00:14:24.000 Now, the guy's gun was not even semi-automatic.

00:14:27.000 Very strange.

00:14:28.000 There are not many commercial guns like that.

00:14:31.000 So, there are a lot more questions than answers here.

00:14:35.000 He had to rack the gun every time he shot.

00:14:39.000 There's also a picture of him allegedly at Starbucks right before.

00:14:42.000 And even though it doesn't look like him, the sweater actually looks a little different.

00:14:46.000 They're saying it's him.

00:14:48.000 The wife did say that the CEO received threats recently.

00:14:52.000 You have to wonder exactly is it because that they were denying claims to people and not giving people coverage for their health care?

00:15:02.000 These are all outstanding questions.

00:15:04.000 And then, of course, there was also an active Justice Department investigation into UnitedHealthcare.

00:15:10.000 And so on top of that, former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz, who is a lizard freak, she's a terrible person, she said that this is, we want these executives dead after murder of health insurance CEO. And so there's so many questions around this.

00:15:29.000 Was this assassin hired?

00:15:32.000 Was this targeted directly towards him?

00:15:35.000 Obviously, because the shell casings say delay, deny, defend.

00:15:40.000 And then, where is he?

00:15:42.000 Where is the shooter?

00:15:43.000 And that's the other bizarre thing.

00:15:45.000 In one of the most surveilled, one of the most watched, one of the most, let's just say, trafficked cities on the planet, this guy's able to just disappear?

00:15:56.000 If this guy was hired to kill him, then he's also probably dead by now.

00:16:02.000 Was this guy impacted by a lack of coverage?

00:16:05.000 It is less and less likely that this guy was actually hired to do this.

00:16:12.000 It's more and more probable that he or someone that he loved had a health insurance dispute and this guy made it his life's mission to go kill the CEO of UnitedHealthcare.

00:16:26.000 How he knew he was going to be walking the streets is also another bizarre wrinkle.

00:16:30.000 How did he know he was going to be walking the streets at 6.45 a.m.?

00:16:51.000 Well, you know, my ex-wife began to transition my son when he was three years old.

00:16:56.000 If you go out to YouTube, you can just search for Mommy Says I'm a Girl, and you'll see the first iPhone video I ever took with him telling me that he believed he was a girl.

00:17:05.000 She ramped this up, and eventually the schools in Coppell, Texas began to transition my son behind my back.

00:17:11.000 I'd take him to school in boys' clothes. 0.96

00:17:13.000 The teacher would give him a dress and make him use the girls' bathroom. 0.99

00:17:16.000 This went on for a year and a half.

00:17:18.000 In our divorce, all of the psychologists lied.

00:17:21.000 They said that she was not trying to transition my son to a girl and that actually I had made a false accusation.

00:17:27.000 And on that basis, they gave me less than standard possession.

00:17:30.000 But she continued to do it.

00:17:33.000 And in 2019, we had another trial.

00:17:35.000 We brought in the top experts from both sides.

00:17:39.000 I won 50-50 custody, no child support, but most importantly, I got a check on all medical procedures on my son because the pediatrician that my ex-wife took my son to, Dr. Pape in Flower Mound, Texas, intended to castrate James at 8 or 9, and I was able to stop that.

00:17:58.000 During that whole process, I lobbied the Texas legislature and mobilized the movement and got it outlawed here in Texas.

00:18:05.000 Because of that, the judges in Dallas County moved my case into the 301st District Court with Judge Mary Brown.

00:18:13.000 She systematically stripped me of all parental rights instead of giving me 50-50 custody. 1.00

00:18:17.000 She gave me supervised visitation that required me to affirm my son was a girl.

00:18:22.000 Because I refused to affirm my son was a girl, she let my ex-wife move to California out of Texas where she could castrate him because I had got that law passed. 1.00

00:18:31.000 I went up to the Texas Supreme Court.

00:18:34.000 Only one justice voted to protect my son.

00:18:37.000 That was Justice Divine.

00:18:38.000 All the other justices voted to let my son go to California to be chemically castrated.

00:18:43.000 This is a supposedly Republican conservative court.

00:18:45.000 In the California court with Judge Mark Juhasz, he refused to give me an independent medical exam of my son.

00:18:53.000 He refused to give me an independent psychological exam.

00:18:56.000 And he even did not require the other side to give me any evidence.

00:19:00.000 I went to trial getting no evidence from the other side.

00:19:03.000 He gave me supervised contact.

00:19:05.000 I can't even call my children.

00:19:07.000 I must affirm my son is a girl.

00:19:10.000 But worst of all, he gave my ex-wife sole legal custody, which allows her to chemically castrate him, which I believe has already happened.

00:19:18.000 I mean, this is just jaw-dropping and honestly breathtaking.

00:19:24.000 So have you had a chance to see your son recently?

00:19:28.000 The only way I can see him is if I affirm that he's a girl. 0.78

00:19:31.000 So I haven't been able to see him.

00:19:33.000 It's been almost three years at this point.

00:19:35.000 I've sent letters to him and birthday presents and Christmas gifts and Easter gifts.

00:19:41.000 My ex-wife, as far as I know, doesn't give those to him.

00:19:45.000 In the judge's order in California, the recent order from two weeks ago, he said she's not required to give him letters or my children letters or gifts.

00:19:54.000 She can send them right back to him anytime she wants.

00:19:56.000 So what I've been doing is posting letters on my substack, jeffyounger.substack.com, and I post letters to my boys regularly in hopes that they know that their father still loves them and is still trying to protect them.

00:20:08.000 As a deeper question, unrelated to this topic, but it is connected, do you believe that generally fathers do not get the hearing or the rights that they deserve in divorce proceedings in this country?

00:20:21.000 Oh, definitely.

00:20:23.000 The statistics show that very clearly.

00:20:25.000 I know in Texas, 93% of the time fathers get 27% or less of the time with their own children.

00:20:32.000 The reason for that is very simple.

00:20:34.000 The federal government has created financial incentives for the states to remove one of the parents in divorce.

00:20:40.000 The Title IV-D program gives states reimbursements for the collection of child support, and it's 66 cents on the dollar for administrative expenses.

00:20:51.000 In Texas, it's $480 billion.

00:20:54.000 It's almost half a billion dollars.

00:20:56.000 It's almost half a billion dollars.

00:20:58.000 And that kind of money on the line, the states get more money when the court issues more child support and collects more of it.

00:21:05.000 And so they remove fathers because there's a financial incentive to do so. 0.85

00:21:10.000 So legislatively, you've become somewhat of an expert.

00:21:15.000 You did some amazing work in Texas.

00:21:17.000 What in an ideal world would the federal government do to prevent this from happening to future families?

00:21:27.000 I think the federal government needs to outlaw the chemical castration of minors, and I think Trump is on the right track.

00:21:35.000 Hospitals should simply be federally decertified and ineligible for insurance reimbursements if they're harming children with these practices.

00:21:44.000 The other thing that I think we need to do is take a look at those Title IV-D incentives.

00:21:49.000 And instead, change the incentives to create a condition where the states get more money if both parents can equally share in their children's lives.

00:21:59.000 So, for example, the money should be tied to equal possession time between the parents, and the states wouldn't be removing fathers on an industrial scale the way they're doing now.

00:22:10.000 So let's dive even deeper into this.

00:22:13.000 It's not just that there are states that allow for the castration of children, but California is a magnet and a sanctuary and almost a soft subsidy for it.

00:22:25.000 Explain more.

00:22:26.000 So California passed a law which I call the Transgender Kidnapping Bill.

00:22:30.000 Many of the conservative foundations also called that.

00:22:33.000 And actually, many of the conservative foundations warned parents not to take their children into California after they passed this bill.

00:22:39.000 One of the arguments I made to the Texas Supreme Court is that California does not even allow any public servant, including police, To obey court orders from another court.

00:22:50.000 So even if my son was ordered back to Texas to protect him, California would not obey that order and they would not send him back.

00:22:56.000 At age 12, if a child voices consent for these irreparably harming procedures, the state obligates medical providers to give that to the child.

00:23:08.000 They have a mandatory affirming policy.

00:24:27.000 I know you've become, unfortunately, a subject matter expert on this.

00:24:30.000 Can you talk about the money that is being made here?

00:24:34.000 Do you believe there was a heavy and significant financial incentive to castrate your son?

00:24:42.000 Yeah, so first of all, Obama created an incentive by giving subsidies to insurance companies that pay for these procedures and mandated that the insurance companies pay for these procedures.

00:24:53.000 That's the first thing.

00:24:54.000 The second thing is the drugs that are used are among the most expensive drugs sold in the United States.

00:24:59.000 The hospitals get a significant markup and the pharmacology companies get tremendous profits from it.

00:25:05.000 The estimates in the Texas gender clinics was that each child that goes into the gender clinic is approximately a 4.5 million lifetime income stream to these clinics because they can't get off the drugs.

00:25:17.000 And once they have the surgeries, what it essentially amounts to is these children have an open wound.

00:25:24.000 And the so-called gender-affirming care after they do the surgeries is functionally identical to outpatient wound care because they have to keep the wound open because the body will naturally close up and grow all this stuff back together. 0.52

00:25:38.000 So they have to keep the wound open and have permanent lifetime wound care, which is very painful and very expensive and very lucrative for the clinics.

00:25:46.000 It's so sick.

00:25:48.000 I mean, this is systemic, institutionalized child abuse.

00:25:54.000 Is there anything non-legislatively, Jeff, that you look back that you wish you would have done differently, parentally?

00:26:04.000 I know this is a difficult topic for you to talk about, but is there anything that you look back that you say, I wish I would have known XYZ or ABC and I want other parents to know this?

00:26:17.000 Well, a couple of things that I've really, very disturbing things that I've learned.

00:26:20.000 In all the 50 states, it is perfectly legal, in some cases mandatory, for licensed care providers, that's nurses, doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, even teachers, they're licensed care providers, social workers, daycare workers are licensed care providers.

00:26:37.000 They are allowed in all 50 states to exert a right of privacy for your child against you, the parent.

00:26:45.000 And they don't have to tell you that they have exerted such a right of privacy.

00:26:49.000 That's the legal basis on which schools have been transitioning children behind the parents' back.

00:26:56.000 They're exerting this legal right of privacy that they have.

00:26:59.000 One of the things that I learned is you should never leave your children alone with licensed care providers.

00:27:04.000 A lot of pediatricians are trained to ask the parent to leave the room during one part of a well check exam, for example, for your child.

00:27:12.000 And they ask your children all kinds of questions about sexual activity and all kinds of things about you.

00:27:17.000 Never leave your children alone with licensed care providers.

00:27:21.000 That has a certain corollary when you think about the public schools.

00:27:24.000 You're going to have to get your kids out of public schools and get them into private Christian schools or homeschooling because the states, in many cases, the states require the teacher to affirm your child behind your back.

00:27:37.000 Jeff, how can people support you and your family in this terrible situation?

00:27:43.000 Look, it's really simple.

00:27:44.000 Get involved in your local community and make sure your schools are not transitioning children. 1.00

00:27:50.000 Make sure that your state passes laws against it.

00:27:53.000 While the liberal states have passed these transgender kidnapping bills, none of the conservative states, including Texas, has passed transgender sanctuary Which protect children who come to Texas.

00:28:06.000 If a child comes to the state of Texas or a conservative state, we should not return that child to another state where they'll be sexually abused.

00:28:14.000 And so we need to pass our own sanctuary laws and try to get that done in your states.

00:28:19.000 That's really the most important way you can support me, is by making your state safe for children.

00:31:18.000 How powerful would it be if the Solicitor General of the United States, the Department of Justice, joins some of these plaintiff lawsuits of these 12 and 13 and 14 and 15 year olds or these 20 year olds that are detransitioners That are suing these doctors because they cannot reach sexual climax and they've been completely cut off and they regret it and the doctors say, too bad, so sad, buyer beware, you're 20 years old, I lied to you when you're 13.
