00:01:37.000 Last evening was quite something.
00:01:39.000 Stayed up late, watched Joe Biden, who, by the way, was 25 minutes late because he was blocked by Palestinian protesters.
00:01:47.000 That is not an insignificant detail, by the way.
00:01:50.000 He kind of puttered along, took a long time to get up on the podium, and begins a speech.
00:01:58.000 His speech was dark, angry, but it was strategic.
00:02:05.000 After he cracked some joke about how he should be done for the night and he should stop after the standing ovation that he received from half the room, not the entire room, there was a bizarre beginning of all the different ways to frame where we are as a country.
00:02:21.000 Joe Biden decided to compare his speech, his address, with Franklin Delano Roosevelt in January of 1941.
00:02:35.000 Now, I'm not exactly sure what Biden meant by this in the sense it was before Pearl Harbor, technically.
00:02:44.000 It was FDR's State of the Union address.
00:02:46.000 He was warning about how Hitler was on the march and how the Nazis are gaining power.
00:02:52.000 But then it became very clear what Joe Biden meant.
00:02:57.000 He looks at himself as a wartime president, not as a wartime president against Russia, not as a wartime president against Hamas, but as a wartime president against you.
00:03:08.000 He looks at himself as a general, a marshal in the army against the American right.
00:03:17.000 He tries to position himself and positions history that the baby boomers and the I'm sorry, the greatest generation fought the Nazis.
00:03:27.000 We fight MAGA.
00:03:30.000 He positions this time as unique because democracy is under assault domestically and internationally.
00:03:38.000 Now, he never defines what democracy means.
00:03:41.000 He never defines what that is.
00:03:43.000 It's the will of the people, the will of the many.
00:03:46.000 No, it's an oligarchy.
00:03:48.000 What you saw on display last evening was a celebration of the oligarchy.
00:03:53.000 And Joe Biden did not attempt to try and win over Republicans or Independents.
00:04:02.000 He didn't try to win over swing voters.
00:04:05.000 Joe Biden's tone was defiant, not persuasive.
00:04:11.000 His tone was angry and bitter.
00:04:15.000 It's almost like, I'm in charge.
00:04:18.000 All throughout the evening, he would turn to the Republican side of the room and almost say, I'm in charge.
00:04:24.000 You guys are a bunch of buffoons.
00:04:26.000 Typically, at a State of a Union address, you put politics aside.
00:04:32.000 Joe Biden led with the most politically charged statements you could imagine.
00:04:38.000 Now, just so Joe Biden knows, look at 159 or, yeah, 159.
00:04:44.000 That's the country he hates.
00:04:46.000 It is most of the country.
00:04:49.000 Visually, it looks like he's at war with most of the greatest country ever to exist in the history of the world.
00:04:56.000 This was not a State of the Union speech.
00:04:59.000 This is a wartime address or was a wartime address against half the country.
00:05:06.000 This was a signal to crush political dissent.
00:05:10.000 And in all of the response, including Katie Britt's underwhelming State of the Union address response, I was losing patience.
00:05:22.000 Katie Britt, to her credit, mentioned the border.
00:05:24.000 Now, we could talk about how Katie Britt was, it was kind of like a bad actor reel in Hollywood.
00:05:29.000 She was whispering to the whole thing.
00:05:30.000 She seems like a very sweet person and a good mother.
00:05:33.000 I'm glad she's in the U.S. Senate.
00:05:35.000 I wish her well.
00:05:36.000 She was big swinging a miss last night because there's this glaring component that everybody seemed to miss.
00:05:46.000 And Katie Britt should have leaned in and said, hey, before I get started, just so you know, that man who calls himself a president is quietly overseeing the greatest lawfare operation against a political dissident in American history.
00:06:03.000 And we're not going to put up with it.
00:06:05.000 Joe Biden was too cowardly, or was he strategic, not to mention that he has deployed Merrick Garland against over 1,000 January 6 defendants, that Donald Trump is facing 700 years in federal prison.
00:06:20.000 It's now 1,300 January 6th defendants.
00:06:22.000 Now, maybe I missed it.
00:06:23.000 Did Katie Britt mention, even in a whisper, because she did a lot of that, the lawfare campaign against Steve Bennett, Peter Navarro, James O'Keefe, Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows?
00:06:38.000 Joe Biden declares war on half the country.
00:06:40.000 Democracy is what he calls it.
00:06:42.000 It was littered with economic lies.
00:06:44.000 We're not going to get into all that.
00:06:45.000 You know, I watched some of the other cable news.
00:06:47.000 We're now going to mention the 74 lies of Joe Biden.
00:06:50.000 You guys don't need to hear that.
00:06:51.000 That is a waste of everybody's time.
00:06:54.000 If you need to go hear some guy on cable TV, and now let's play cut this one.
00:06:58.000 And this is a lie from Joe Biden.
00:07:00.000 This is a lie from Joe Biden.
00:07:01.000 No, The Republican response collectively was all like, well, you know, Joe Biden on the border.
00:07:08.000 And by the way, I'm glad that we forced the issue for Joe Biden to say Lake and Riley's name, even though he said Lincoln Riley, who's the coach of USC football.
00:07:17.000 But let's not forget the backdrop.
00:07:19.000 The backdrop, if you actually read the speech, not just listen to the speech, read the speech.
00:07:26.000 Joe Biden frames himself as a general, as an Eisenhower over the supreme allied forces.
00:07:39.000 And it's you, the white rural rage folks, that he seeks to obliterate.
00:07:46.000 They raided Mar-a-Lago.
00:07:47.000 Donald Trump is facing federal charges in multiple venues.
00:07:54.000 And we don't even get a mention of that in our rebuttal.
00:07:57.000 We get a mention about, you know, kitchen table issues.
00:08:01.000 That's fine.
00:08:01.000 I'm all for that.
00:08:02.000 It's all good stuff.
00:08:04.000 But in some ways, I feel as if the Republican response was yearning that we're still in the 1990s.
00:08:10.000 We're talking about which tax rates are better for us.
00:08:12.000 You have a president who's a usurper, by the way, who is not interested in persuasion, not interested in dialogue, not interested in winning people over.
00:08:28.000 Joe Biden did not go out of his way to try to convince Joe Biden and the people around him and the cabinet that was in front of him, from Lloyd Austin to Merrick Garland, all they're interested in is blunt force.
00:08:45.000 We're in charge.
00:08:46.000 You're not.
00:08:47.000 Our boot, your neck.
00:08:50.000 He doesn't want to govern the country.
00:08:51.000 Typically, a State of the Union address, Trump did this multiple times.
00:08:54.000 He'll say to the Democrats, hey, let's work together.
00:08:58.000 Said Joe Biden was taunting Republicans.
00:09:02.000 And before anybody celebrates too much, oh, he's going to be easy to beat in November.
00:09:08.000 No, he won't.
00:09:10.000 They're going to package this and make him seem like a moderate.
00:09:13.000 They're going to make this all about democracy and they control the machinery in the intel agencies, the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
00:09:20.000 You are living through a cold civil war.
00:09:23.000 You have been for quite some time.
00:09:25.000 And only one side is fighting.
00:09:27.000 The regime is on the march.
00:09:29.000 Their leader, their figurehead, their temporary puppet, Joe Biden, taunted the American right.
00:09:38.000 Basically said, what are you going to do about it?
00:09:41.000 And our response was, well, Joe Biden makes me feel like we need a better leader.
00:09:47.000 This is not the country we grew up in.
00:09:49.000 Maybe it's time we start to solidify an opposition party so that we can fight and defeat these people.
00:09:58.000 Okay, Kirk fans, I need you to stop and pay attention to this.
00:10:02.000 If you deal with exhaustion, brain fog, mood swings, or food cravings, if you're constantly getting sick or simply lack the zeal you used to have in life, then I have some news for you.
00:10:12.000 While back, I found a liquid supplement called Strong Cell, and it changed my health in a very profound way.
00:10:17.000 I take it every single day.
00:10:20.000 Look, I knew I had to partner with them.
00:10:21.000 I did the research.
00:10:22.000 Google and look up online what happens when you mix NADH with CoQ10 and marine collagen.
00:10:28.000 It's simple.
00:10:29.000 Every area of your body has cells.
00:10:31.000 So if your cells are healthier, then you will also be healthier.
00:10:34.000 You don't have to take my word for it.
00:10:36.000 Listen to one of these testimonials.
00:10:37.000 After taking Strong Cell for six weeks, I found improvement in many areas, less shoulder pain, improved mental clarity, increased natural energy, and so much more.
00:10:44.000 I'm thankful that Charlie Kirk recommended this to his listeners.
00:10:47.000 Rebecca says, I absolutely love Strong Cell.
00:10:50.000 At first, I didn't think it would make much of a difference for my chronic fatigue, depression, and anxiety, but I thought I'd give it a chance.
00:10:56.000 I've tried to find depression meds for 10 years, and since you Strong Cell, I'm feeling better than I ever have on depression medication.
00:11:03.000 Customer for life, thank you, Charlie Kirk, for recommending this product.
00:11:06.000 So there it is.
00:11:07.000 You've heard from me directly and some of the users who have seen their lives changed by Strong Cell.
00:11:12.000 I personally recommend taking it every day for at least 30 days.
00:11:16.000 I take it every day before I go on the air, and it's helped me in more ways than I can even name.
00:11:20.000 Each of our bodies is very different.
00:11:21.000 So I would recommend you give the supplement at least two to three months to see the changes in your body.
00:11:27.000 Go to strongcell.com and learn more for yourself.

00:11:53.000 Let's play some pieces of tape for those of you that had the great fortune of not seeing the speech last night.
00:12:00.000 Here's Joe Biden.
00:12:01.000 He opens his speech talking about FDR in 1941.
00:12:04.000 If you didn't know better, you'd think that Joe Biden is ready to declare war.
00:12:09.000 You don't just mention FDR in the year of Pearl Harbor without any sort of context.
00:12:18.000 He looks at himself in this mold, in this form.
00:12:24.000 Of course, Joe Biden went on to talk endlessly about Ukraine and condescendingly about the border.
00:12:31.000 Play cut 91.
00:12:33.000 My fellow Americans, in January 1941, Franklin Roosevelt came to this chamber to speak to the nation.
00:12:43.000 And he said, I address you at a moment unprecedented in the history of the Union.
00:12:50.000 Hitler was on the march.
00:12:52.000 War was raging in Europe.
00:12:54.000 President Roosevelt's purpose was to wake up Congress and alert the American people that this was no ordinary time.
00:13:01.000 Freedom and democracy were under assault in the world.
00:13:06.000 Freedom and democracy were under assault in the world.
00:13:10.000 He continues by saying, Now it's we who face an unprecedented moment in the history of our nation.
00:13:16.000 In this regard, Joe Biden is right.
00:13:18.000 We have an entire regime that hates the country that they're tasked to govern.
00:13:22.000 That is unprecedented.
00:13:24.000 I can't think in my lifetime that we've had, I mean, Obama didn't love the country, nor does he.
00:13:30.000 However, but the people around, even in this particular government, they have no concern for our nation.
00:13:36.000 In fact, they seem diabolically obsessed with ruining the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world.
00:13:43.000 Play cut 92.
00:13:44.000 Tonight, I come to this same chamber to address the nation.
00:13:50.000 Now, it's we who face an unprecedented moment in the history of the Union.
00:13:55.000 And yes, my purpose tonight is to wake up the Congress and alert the American people that this is no ordinary moment either.
00:14:03.000 Not since President Lincoln and the Civil War have freedom and democracy been under assault at home as they are today.
00:14:10.000 What makes our moment rare is the freedom and democracy are under attack both at home and overseas at the very same time.
00:14:20.000 Right there, what a missed opportunity.
00:14:23.000 At that moment, I understand, you know, the heckling and all that.
00:14:27.000 This gets mixed reviews, but hold on a second.
00:14:29.000 Freedom and democracy is under attack.
00:14:32.000 Everyone nods along.
00:14:33.000 His government is the one that is indicting the opposition political leader and former president.
00:14:41.000 What could be a greater threat to freedom and democracy than putting the candidate you don't like in leg irons and handcuffs?
00:14:49.000 Oh, you know, our elections are under attack.
00:14:52.000 You want to know what really is under attack?
00:14:55.000 When you try to kick them off the ballot, when you try to label half the room as insurrectionists, and when Katie Britt, again, maybe I missed it.
00:15:07.000 Did she lean in on any of this?
00:15:10.000 Did we make the case to the American people that this is not normal?
00:15:14.000 This is not, and by the way, this is persuasive.
00:15:18.000 As Donald Trump was indicted, he did better in the Republican primary and better in general election polling.
00:15:24.000 Americans do not like the instruments of justice to be used for political purposes.
00:15:31.000 It's against core American values.
00:15:33.000 It's a 60, 70, 80% winning issue.
00:15:37.000 And the Democrats rationalize it because they think Trump is Hitler.
00:15:41.000 Most Americans don't believe that.
00:15:43.000 In fact, the vast majority of Americans don't believe that.
00:15:46.000 Joe Biden could not even get himself to say Donald Trump, my predecessor, my predecessor, my predecessor.
00:15:55.000 Play cut 96.
00:15:57.000 Now, my predecessor.
00:15:59.000 My predecessor and some of you here seek to bury the truth about January 6th.
00:16:03.000 My predecessor came to office determined to see Roe v. Raid overturned.
00:16:06.000 My predecessor failed the most basic presidential duty that he owes to American people.
00:16:12.000 The past administrations, including my predecessor, or my predecessor, and many in this chamber want to take this prescription drug away by repealing Affordable Care Act.
00:16:24.000 And my predecessor is watching.
00:16:27.000 Instead of paying politics, unlike my predecessor on my first day in office, I introduced a comprehensive bill to fix our immigration system.
00:16:35.000 Take a look at it.
00:16:35.000 It has all these and more.
00:16:37.000 My predecessor told the NRA he's proud he did nothing on guns when he was president.
00:16:42.000 He looks at himself as a general.
00:16:45.000 He refuses to say Trump's name, and he says, my predecessor.
00:16:52.000 Under the names of DEI and ESG, the largest asset managers have been using your money, your savings, to push politics into America's corporations.
00:17:02.000 For years, they've implemented an agenda that is anti-American capitalism at your expense without your permission.
00:17:08.000 There's an alternative.
00:17:09.000 At Strive, the only agenda is maximizing shareholder returns.
00:17:13.000 Pro-capitalism and pro-meritocracy.
00:17:15.000 Shareholders first, period.
00:17:17.000 To learn more about Strive's shareholder first investment options, visit Strive.com now.
00:17:25.000 It is official.
00:17:26.000 Lara Trump is now the co-chair of the RNC.
00:17:29.000 The RANA regime is out, and we have new leadership at the RNC.
00:17:34.000 And you guys deserve credit, this audience.
00:17:36.000 You were relentless.
00:17:38.000 You demanded better.
00:17:40.000 And now we need to rebuild the RNC to be the best it's ever been because we need it.
00:17:47.000 And I'm going to make that argument.
00:17:50.000 I'm telling you right now, Joe Biden's going to be tough.
00:17:52.000 I'm one of the few people that say that.
00:17:54.000 People say, oh, he's easy.
00:17:55.000 We can run over him.
00:17:57.000 They control who counts the ballots.
00:17:58.000 They have more money than they know what to do with.
00:18:01.000 Joe Biden last night was slippery enough so that certain independent voters were hoodwinked.
00:18:06.000 You know, 65% of Americans approved of Joe Biden's State of the Union address last night.
00:18:12.000 65%.
00:18:13.000 They're going to run ads.
00:18:14.000 They're going to make it all about abortion.
00:18:15.000 This is going to be tight.
00:18:17.000 It's going to be tight.
00:18:18.000 So we need an RNC that is ready to win.
00:18:21.000 I've said this this entire time.
00:18:22.000 All these polls, Trump up eight, Trump up six, Trump up seven, throw all that away.
00:18:26.000 We are the underdogs.
00:18:28.000 They have the bureaucracies, the intel agencies, the tech companies, the billionaires.
00:18:31.000 They have the support of the oligarchy.
00:18:33.000 They have thousands of full-time people on the ground.
00:18:35.000 Last night, however, highlighted two concerns that Joe Biden and his team has.
00:18:39.000 Joe Biden himself doesn't have this.
00:18:41.000 Number one, they're very worried about the state of Michigan.
00:18:45.000 They're very worried about the state of Michigan.
00:18:48.000 And I have a couple pieces of evidence to support this.
00:18:51.000 Number one, Joe Biden was very careful how he talked about the Israel issue.
00:18:55.000 Far more fanfare for Ukraine and for Sweden joining NATO.
00:19:01.000 Why on earth we would put Sweden and NATO is beyond me, but that's a separate issue.
00:19:06.000 I'd love to get maybe JD Vance or Josh Hawley to talk about that.
00:19:11.000 By the way, every single day we are breaking our promise.
00:19:13.000 We say, oh, you know, NATO's not going to add new members, not going to expand eastward.
00:19:17.000 And now we have Norway, Sweden, and Finland in NATO, bordering guard against Russia.
00:19:21.000 We have completely lied, as is the modus operandi of the American intel agencies.
00:19:28.000 But the Israel thing, Joe Biden tap-danced around because he's very worried about this uncommitted movement.
00:19:33.000 But there was another piece of evidence.
00:19:35.000 One of the featured guests of the State of the Union was the head of the UAW, the United Auto Workers.
00:19:44.000 Joe Biden knows the electoral math.
00:19:46.000 In fact, he knows it better than the prior RNC regime.
00:19:49.000 I guarantee you that if you would have sat Ronna McDaniel down, Ronna McRomney down back in November, no phones.
00:19:55.000 I said, Rana, tell me the electoral math, the three possible paths for Donald Trump to become president right now.
00:20:00.000 Tell me.
00:20:01.000 I don't know if she would have been able to answer.
00:20:03.000 I do not know if she would have been able to answer.
00:20:05.000 I know the math.
00:20:06.000 Blake knows the math.
00:20:07.000 Andrew knows the math.
00:20:08.000 Tyler knows the math.
00:20:09.000 By the way, it's not hard.
00:20:10.000 You just go to 270win.com.
00:20:12.000 Joe Biden and his team have known the math for quite some time.
00:20:15.000 That's why they launched the preemptive strike, the preemptive salvo against Donald Trump.
00:20:20.000 Joe Biden, in some ways, was surrendering Georgia last night.
00:20:25.000 You know what was missing from the speech?
00:20:27.000 Race politics.
00:20:29.000 There was not a lot of the kind of BLM race politics that we're used to in an election year.
00:20:33.000 There's almost none of it.
00:20:36.000 Unless I'm completely missing something.
00:20:38.000 Where was the BLM?
00:20:40.000 We're systemically racist.
00:20:42.000 I think there might have been something about unjust sentencing.
00:20:45.000 There was something like that.
00:20:47.000 Some guy that was in jail or something for something.
00:20:50.000 I think there was a little bit of that.
00:20:51.000 It was far from the Democrat usual ad nauseum.
00:20:56.000 Heavy emphasis on abortion.
00:20:58.000 Heavy emphasis on women.
00:21:00.000 Joe Biden was even talking about how we need to lower crime in this country and how crime is going down.
00:21:05.000 In fact, that's Joe Biden signaling we're kind of done with Georgia.
00:21:10.000 They know it.
00:21:10.000 They see the numbers.
00:21:11.000 We're going to take Georgia seriously.
00:21:13.000 I feel good about the state of Georgia presidentially.
00:21:16.000 I feel good about North Carolina.
00:21:18.000 In Arizona, Arizona is going to be tight.
00:21:21.000 I think we're going to be okay there.
00:21:23.000 I mean, we're here right now.
00:21:24.000 We're doing a lot of work.
00:21:25.000 Who knows?
00:21:26.000 It's a 50-50 shot.
00:21:27.000 But Joe Biden and his team, they are cunning like serpents.
00:21:35.000 They are like vipers in the grass.
00:21:39.000 They know what's up.
00:21:40.000 They've run the math.
00:21:43.000 They've done their tallies.
00:21:45.000 And they need to win one out of three of the blue wall.
00:21:50.000 Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania.
00:21:53.000 And the one that they feel the best about is Michigan.
00:21:58.000 Pennsylvania is probably a close second.
00:22:01.000 They need to win.
00:22:01.000 I'm sorry, Donald Trump has to win one out of three.
00:22:03.000 They have to win three out of three.
00:22:06.000 Michigan, they're very worried.
00:22:07.000 They're worried that if the pro-Hamas group, which by the way, blockaded the presidential motorcade last night, how many of those guys are going to be put into federal prison for blockading the presidential motorcade?
00:22:21.000 Could you imagine if a bunch of Trump supporters blockaded the presidential motorcade?
00:22:25.000 They would get 30 years in federal prison.
00:22:27.000 I don't even know if any of them are going to be arrested.
00:22:28.000 I mean, they might have been arrested on little felony stuff.
00:22:31.000 But Joe Biden's going to be careful not to throw the entire book at them because he doesn't want to try to steer it up more.
00:22:39.000 So Joe Biden highlighted the head of the UAW.
00:22:43.000 Oh, I love you, man.
00:22:44.000 We're the greatest friends ever.
00:22:46.000 That is a direct play at McCone and Wayne County.
00:22:50.000 That right there, that is a telegram straight to Wayne County.
00:22:56.000 Joe Biden spent a lot of time embracing Debbie Dingell.
00:22:59.000 He knows what he's doing.
00:23:00.000 When he walks in, he's puttering in.
00:23:02.000 He probably said, hey, if you see Debbie Dingell, get on camera.
00:23:06.000 She's very well liked.
00:23:07.000 Her husband was a well-liked politician from that part of the world, auto worker, muscular class, and they love Trump.
00:23:14.000 They love Trump there.
00:23:16.000 Joe Biden knows he has a Michigan problem, a serious one.
00:23:20.000 So Joe Biden tap-danced on the Israel thing.
00:23:22.000 He highlights the UAW.
00:23:25.000 But more broadly, Joe Biden has a Democrat base problem.
00:23:29.000 He has an RFK problem.
00:23:31.000 He has a Cornell West problem.
00:23:32.000 He has a Jill Stein problem.
00:23:34.000 Remember, when Joe Biden became president in 2020, it was Trump v. Biden, no third-party candidates.
00:23:42.000 In 2016, when Trump defeated Hillary Clinton, it was Trump v. Clinton with five other candidates on the ballot.
00:23:48.000 So Biden knows that whoever gets to 42, 43, 44% of the vote will likely become president.
00:23:56.000 I'm going to make this prediction right here on the Charlie Kirk show.
00:23:59.000 Write it down.
00:23:59.000 Bring it to the bank.
00:24:01.000 The next president will likely win a plurality, not a majority, in the key states.
00:24:08.000 Let me say that again.
00:24:10.000 The next president will likely win a plurality, not a majority of the vote, in Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Michigan.
00:24:18.000 That speech last night was about shoring up the Democrat base.
00:24:25.000 They have base decay, and it's happening in real time on the Palestinian Muslim Gaza-Hamas issue, the muscular class.
00:24:35.000 They don't have a lot of base decay with the women issue.
00:24:38.000 So Biden was not about trying to win over Republicans.
00:24:41.000 He couldn't care less.
00:24:43.000 Breaking at axios.com.
00:24:45.000 RFK Jr. nears major ballot wins in three battleground states.
00:24:52.000 Now, we said previously, if you go back in the archives, we said, oh, RFK is going to hurt Trump more than Biden.
00:24:56.000 That has changed.
00:24:58.000 That has changed, especially with younger voters.
00:25:02.000 RFK getting on the ballot could be a death blow to Joe Biden.
00:25:08.000 RFK can reinvigorate that old school Democrat energy, free speech, liberalism.
00:25:17.000 Still have some sort of a border.
00:25:19.000 Axios.com, RFK Jr. nears major ballot wins in three battleground states.
00:25:24.000 Cleared the signature threshold in Nevada.
00:25:27.000 He qualified for the ballot in Utah.
00:25:28.000 That won't be a problem.
00:25:30.000 He's also looking to get on the ballot in Arizona, Georgia, and closing in on Michigan.
00:25:36.000 Joe Biden knows all this.
00:25:38.000 So Joe Biden first is trying to consolidate the Democrat base.
00:25:43.000 Last night was not about governing the country or bringing people together or consensus.
00:25:48.000 Very few swing voters are moved by what they saw last night.
00:25:52.000 First and foremost, he needed to get the excitement back in the Democrat base.
00:25:58.000 Cut 102, Joe Biden effectively threatened the U.S. Supreme Court.
00:26:03.000 This is a way to invigorate his base.
00:26:05.000 Play Cut 102.
00:26:06.000 And with all due respect, justices, women are not without electoral power.
00:26:12.000 Excuse me, electoral or political power.
00:26:15.000 You're about to realize just how much you're out of that power.
00:26:21.000 I have been watching State of the Union addresses almost my entire life.
00:26:26.000 I've never seen, and Blake can correct me, a president call out the Supreme Court and effectively turn the mob against them.
00:26:35.000 Has anyone seen that?
00:26:37.000 Where you call out the Supreme Court and get people in rancor?
00:26:43.000 I guess there was one other time it's happened.
00:26:45.000 Maybe Obama did it before, but that was right in your face.
00:26:49.000 Oh, Obama did it?
00:26:50.000 Okay.
00:26:51.000 Saying, you know, you're going to feel the wrath of women.
00:26:55.000 Joe Biden knows that he has a base problem.
00:26:57.000 He has a Michigan problem.
00:26:59.000 He was not intent on convincing anybody, rallying the troops and stifling opposition.
00:27:09.000 What if I told you that most of the notable diaper brands support abortion, even footing the bill for their employees to travel to have an abortion?
00:27:17.000 It's one thing to reject your customers.
00:27:19.000 It's another thing to support their termination.
00:27:21.000 If you're a parent sickened by woke corporations supporting the destruction of American values and our most precious blessing, our children, then Meet Every Life, America's pro-life diaper brand.

00:28:22.000 I had my hopes up.
00:28:23.000 In fact, watch the State of the Union.
00:28:25.000 I was, you know, time to go to bed.
00:28:27.000 I was like, no, I really want to see Katie Britt's response.
00:28:32.000 And, you know, I was, they said, oh, you know, she's going to be doing it from a kitchen table.
00:28:36.000 I said, okay, you know, that could win over suburban women.
00:28:39.000 And let's see how that works.
00:28:41.000 And she's got a great story.
00:28:44.000 She's 42.
00:28:44.000 She's got school-age kids.
00:28:47.000 She's obviously, you know, speaks for a lot of people in Alabama.
00:28:52.000 And I want to cut Katie Britt some slack.
00:28:55.000 It is not easy to do the rebuttal.
00:28:56.000 In fact, it's kind of cursed.
00:28:58.000 If you do the rebuttal, it usually doesn't go well.
00:29:00.000 Now, if I were to give you my personal opinion, I think that we got to totally change the way we do rebuttals.
00:29:08.000 In fact, other people have tried to do this in the past.
00:29:09.000 And I think Gretchen Whitmer, some other people did this when Trump was president, where they try to have a crowd.
00:29:14.000 It's always just so it, the contrast is the president gives the speech and he gets tons of applause and it's just so quiet, the rebuttal.
00:29:25.000 It's just very difficult.
00:29:26.000 It's a tough, it's a tough gig.
00:29:29.000 And so with that being said, I had my hopes up.
00:29:32.000 And then all of a sudden, Katie Britt starts doing this.
00:29:34.000 I mean this as nicely as I can say this.
00:29:37.000 It felt as if it was like a C-list actress auditioning for a Netflix series.
00:29:45.000 She was bobbing all over the place and whispering.
00:29:47.000 And it's fine.
00:29:48.000 You're a senator.
00:29:49.000 You're not an actress.
00:29:50.000 I don't expect that out of you.
00:29:52.000 But in my personal opinion, it completely missed the mark, leaning in and leaning out and fake crying and this and that.
00:29:58.000 And then not to mention the content.
00:29:59.000 You don't mention the law fair at all.
00:30:03.000 So again, it might be a little bit unfair to just criticize people's delivery.
00:30:09.000 She's still a new U.S. senator.
00:30:12.000 I'm super glad she's in the Senate.
00:30:14.000 She's probably going to have a great future ahead of her.
00:30:16.000 She is much more in the Mitch McConnell wing.
00:30:19.000 And I bet for Trump's VP, that's Mitch McConnell's choice.
00:30:23.000 She's very, very neoconservative, very pro-Ukraine.
00:30:26.000 That's fine, whatever.
00:30:27.000 And maybe I'm wrong.
00:30:29.000 Maybe moms and suburban moms loved it.
00:30:31.000 They loved the whispering.
00:30:32.000 They loved the fact that it looked like she was on the home cooking network.
00:30:35.000 Maybe that was great.
00:30:37.000 If that's the case, then please email me freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:30:41.000 And I understand that the response should not necessarily cater to the converted, but I could not help but feeling as if this was a chance to persuade the country on the biggest issue that is happening, which is the fact that now we have crossed the Rubicon and the incumbent power force can use lawfare to destroy opposition.
00:31:07.000 I cannot emphasize enough.
00:31:08.000 There is no going back from that.
00:31:11.000 There is no going back from the fact.
00:31:12.000 And I, again, someone should reread Katie Britt's speech.
00:31:15.000 I don't want to speak out of turn.
00:31:17.000 I don't, to her credit, she mentioned Lake and Riley.
00:31:21.000 I don't like the way she mentioned it, but that's a separate issue.
00:31:24.000 Let's play some of this here.
00:31:25.000 If you didn't hear it, let's play Cut 109.
00:31:28.000 This is the United States of America, and it is pastime, in my opinion, that we start acting like it.
00:31:37.000 President Biden's border policies are a disgrace.
00:31:43.000 This crisis is despicable.
00:31:45.000 And the truth is, it is almost entirely preventable.
00:31:52.000 So maybe people like that.
00:31:54.000 Maybe people like the fake sigh and the kind of trembling.
00:31:58.000 I find it to be insincere, scripted, and yeah, it's just me.
00:32:04.000 Again, if that wins over suburban women, terrific.
00:32:07.000 The team wants me to play a meme.
00:32:09.000 I'm not going to do that.
00:32:10.000 I want to cut her some slack.
00:32:13.000 So who chose her is the question.
00:32:15.000 Probably Mitch McConnell.
00:32:17.000 She basically is a younger female version of Mitch McConnell in Alabama.
00:32:22.000 Again, so maybe she'll improve as that goes on.
00:32:25.000 So maybe she'll become more conservative.
00:32:30.000 I don't know.
00:32:31.000 And look on paper, it seems like a great pick.
00:32:35.000 Young, mom, Alabama, you know, it looks like a good pick.
00:32:39.000 And I think it missed the mark.
00:32:42.000 I want your thoughts.
00:32:43.000 Maybe you guys thought it was a home run.
00:32:44.000 Email us freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:32:46.000 Not to mention the huge issue set that you just don't lean in on.
00:32:51.000 Again, it's tough to give the rebuttal.
00:32:52.000 I mean, you got Marco Rubio sipping water.
00:32:54.000 You got all sorts of weird stuff that happens in this.
00:32:56.000 It's not easy.
00:32:57.000 So we got to cut her some fake, cut her some slack, but it just felt very fake.
00:33:01.000 Synthetic.
00:33:03.000 But Mitch McConnell got what he wanted.
00:33:05.000 He got his rebuttal.
00:33:06.000 And so there you go.
00:33:10.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:33:11.000 Email us as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:14.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
