The Charlie Kirk Show - Just How Bad Was Biden's Debate Night? ft. Vivek Ramaswamy

Vivek Ramaswamy and Ari Fleischer join us to reflect on the Joe Biden Debacle. Charlie and Vaynerchuck are joined by former White House Press Secretary and former CNN White House Correspondent AriFleischer to discuss what they learned about Joe Biden's performance in the CNN primary debate and why it was such a disaster for the left. They also talk about why the left was the real victim in this one, not the right and why they should be mad at the media for the way they handled it and why the media should have handled it so poorly and why we should be angry at the way CNN handled it as well as the fact that John King was the only person to call Joe Biden a "liar" and an "idiot" in the entire debate. 00:01:25.000 Okay, how bad was it?

00:01:26.000 Well, we have a very special guest that can tell us that.

00:01:30.000 It is Ari Fleischer.

00:01:31.000 Ari, thank you for making time for us today.

00:01:33.000 I've been excited to have you on.

00:01:35.000 I asked the team, I said, get Ari Fleischer because he really sees this stuff so fairly and you have great experience.

00:01:41.000 Former White House Press Secretary and also Fleischer Communications.

00:01:45.000 Very simple question.

00:01:46.000 You've covered this stuff for a long time, Ari.

00:01:49.000 How bad was this for Joe Biden last night?

00:01:53.000 Still a 1 to 10.

00:01:54.000 It's a 10 because of the freakout.

00:01:56.000 You know, actually, Charlie, as I watched it, I didn't think Biden bombed.

00:02:00.000 I thought he was having a typical Joe Biden day, which was bad, stumbling, bumbling, incoherent, hard to put a sense together.

00:02:08.000 But as anybody who has watched conservative media knows, that's just a day for Joe Biden.

00:02:13.000 The problem was, and this is how media bias bites the other side.

00:02:19.000 We conservatives are usually the victim of it, but here the left was the victim.

00:02:22.000 Because if you're a CNN viewer, a MSNBC viewer, a New York Times reader, you are seldom if ever told that Joe Biden is in cognitive decline.

00:02:33.000 You're actually told that Republicans make cheap fake videos about this issue.

00:02:36.000 That's just not true.

00:02:38.000 So last night, tens of millions got to see for the first time how bad Biden performs.

00:02:45.000 And they're startled.

00:02:46.000 They're shocked.

00:02:47.000 And that's why you have the meltdown you have on the left.

00:02:50.000 I think that's a really smart analysis, Ari, that, and I know this is hard for you to believe because you watch this program, you listen to, you know, you see, watch Hannity or whatever, you watch Bannon, and we see the Biden trip ups all the time on our social media.

00:03:04.000 There are tens of millions of people that are cloistered away from conservative media that tuned in last night.

00:03:10.000 We're still waiting for ratings numbers, but I bet it's huge.

00:03:12.000 And then all this, and then in addition, the clips.

00:03:15.000 So Ari, help me understand this.

00:03:18.000 I found to be shocking the green light, the ambush that John King was leading on the CNN panel afterwards.

00:03:25.000 I want to play just some of this piece of tape here.

00:03:28.000 I think it's 1.23, if I'm not mistaken, 1.20 or 1.23, where there was no hesitation, Ari, out of the gate, full ambush of Joe Biden, no spin, no nuance.

00:03:40.000 I was anticipating CNN to go into recovery mode.

00:03:42.000 Oh, wasn't that bad?

00:03:43.000 He made good points.

00:03:45.000 You know, but it was just gloves were off.

00:03:47.000 off Plinko 123.

00:04:11.000 Other of the conversations are about, should prominent Democrats go public with that call?

00:04:17.000 Because they feel this debate was so terrible.

00:04:20.000 So Ari, help me understand.

00:04:21.000 Have you ever seen the friendly home team media pounce as quickly as they did?

00:04:30.000 Unpack that for me, Ari Fleischer.

00:04:32.000 And that's again why I say this was a 10 on the disaster scale, because this is the hometown fans now cheering and turning against Joe Biden.

00:04:40.000 That's what hurts.

00:04:41.000 If it was just conservatives, it wouldn't bother Biden and his team.

00:04:44.000 This has to just wreck them inside.

00:04:47.000 Look, say what you will about CNN.

00:04:50.000 John King is plugged in.

00:04:52.000 John King has sources everywhere.

00:04:54.000 John King used to be the chief political correspondent for the Associated Press.

00:04:57.000 He's a man of Washington for a long time with a deep Rolodex, and his phone got lit up.

00:05:03.000 During the debate, my phone started to get lit up by a lot of plugged in people saying there's a Democratic meltdown underway.

00:05:09.000 And I didn't see it till later.

00:05:11.000 But people like John King saw it instantly, and I think this was just journalism, frankly.

00:05:17.000 I think there was no big setup here.

00:05:19.000 CNN doesn't know who's in the on-deck circle.

00:05:22.000 They haven't all said, this is a deliberate plan.

00:05:24.000 We were just waiting for the right moment to get rid of Biden.

00:05:27.000 I think they just watched events unfold, and they were shocked at how many Democrats they knew were saying, this is a disaster, and they reported it.

00:05:35.000 So you were the White House press secretary.

00:05:37.000 Take us into the White House.

00:05:38.000 How do you possibly spin this?

00:05:40.000 And navigate forward.

00:05:44.000 Well, I love the split between Corrine Jean-Pierre and Kamala Harris.

00:05:48.000 I mean, what Harris says, you know, it was a slow start.

00:05:51.000 Is Corrine going to say it was a slow start?

00:05:53.000 You know, the only thing they can do is defend Joe Biden.

00:05:58.000 Kamala Harris did a terrible job doing that last night. 1.00

00:06:01.000 They must defend their boss and tell the American people that that which we all saw is not what happened.

00:06:07.000 That's the only thing the White House can do in this instance.

00:06:09.000 They can't pile on Biden.

00:06:12.000 So that's what I expect them to do.

00:06:14.000 They've already started to see it last night at the Waffle House and with Jill Biden.

00:06:19.000 And until Joe Biden says, I'm out, they have to pretend he's in.

00:06:23.000 They have no choice.

00:06:26.000 And so then walk us through then the process.

00:06:29.000 If Joe Biden does not relinquish control, then they're stuck with him.

00:06:34.000 Is that correct?

00:06:36.000 100% correct, Charlie.

00:06:37.000 I mean, the only way that this could get overturned is by the superdelegates leading a rebellion at the Democratic Convention to the point where Democrats who are pledged to support Biden, because Biden won the primaries in those states, go into full revolt.

00:06:55.000 And you talk about a threat to democracy.

00:06:57.000 You talk about overturning the results of an election.

00:07:00.000 Biden won the primary.

00:07:02.000 And there were all kinds of people warning the Democrats how crazy it is for them not to have an insurance policy, not to have a strong candidate test Joe Biden in primaries in debates against Joe Biden.

00:07:15.000 And now we're all watching this unfold where the Democrats don't know how to turn, where to turn, what to do.

00:07:22.000 But Charlie, you got the fundamentals right.

00:07:23.000 If Biden says, I'm stubborn, I'm not stepping down, I am running.

00:07:29.000 It will be almost impossible for the delegates in Milwaukee to force his hand.

00:07:36.000 He has to say, I've gotten the message, I heard the voices, I won't run.

00:07:40.000 And then you get chaos until they have a nominee.

00:07:47.000 Yeah, and then by the way, how do you even script a convention at that point?

00:07:50.000 A convention is supposed to be a celebration and bringing your message to the American people in an uninterrupted television time.

00:07:56.000 And so reporting shows Wisconsin's already too late to remove Joe Biden from the ballot in Wisconsin.

00:08:01.000 Nevada, after tonight, the fourth Friday in June, it'll be too late to remove Joe Biden.

00:08:06.000 This is collapsing in real time for them.

00:08:09.000 Here is a montage right here of Democrats insisting in the weeks.

00:08:13.000 This is why it's bad for all the Democrats.

00:08:15.000 They've been covering for this guy.

00:08:17.000 I just had it in front of me, Ryan, can you resend it?

00:08:19.000 Of all the Democrats saying for weeks ahead of time that Joe Biden is mentally fit, that Joe Biden knows that he's on the top of his game, that he's never been as sharp, that Joe Biden is ready, cut 157.

00:08:34.000 He is sharp, intensely probing, and detail-oriented and focused.

00:08:40.000 This is a man who is sharp, who is on top of his game, who knows what's going on.

00:08:44.000 This guy's tough, he's smart, he's on his game.

00:08:47.000 His mental acuity is great.

00:08:49.000 This is a very sharp president.

00:08:51.000 This is a man that's on his game.

00:08:53.000 President Biden is absolutely fit.

00:08:57.000 There's not a problem.

00:08:58.000 He's sharp.

00:08:58.000 He's fit.

00:08:59.000 He's always answering questions.

00:09:01.000 He is on the ball.

00:09:02.000 He was sharper than anyone I've spoken to.

00:09:05.000 He is sharp.

00:09:06.000 He is on top of things.

00:09:07.000 There's no doubt in my mind that the president is mentally fit for office.

00:09:10.000 Biden has proven himself to have a strong memory.

00:09:13.000 He's completely mentally sharp.

00:09:15.000 He's at the top of his game.

00:09:19.000 So now this is a Democrat lying problem, Ari.

00:09:22.000 This is the Democrats lying to the American people that this is on the top of his game.

00:09:27.000 Your reaction, Ari Fleischer?

00:09:29.000 If this is the top of his game, it's a pretty low game.

00:09:34.000 Democrats have, this is again why they're in panic because they've all been doing this, particularly Jon Tester in Montana and Bob Casey in Pennsylvania, the Democrats who were up in the close states, Sherrod Brown in Ohio.

00:09:46.000 They married Joe Biden and now they're stuck with him.

00:09:49.000 So what are they going to do?

00:09:51.000 And in a lot of those races today, their Republican opponents are calling on those senators to distance themselves from Joe Biden.

00:10:01.000 They now are stuck with the words they used to endorse Biden, contrary to what we've all seen with our eyes.

00:10:07.000 It's not just a Biden problem.

00:10:09.000 It is a Democrat-wide problem in the House and the Senate.

00:10:12.000 The Senate was already going to turn Republican.

00:10:15.000 Charlie, if this is a 1980, 1994, 2014-style sweep year, one of those dramatic years where the party out of power gains a huge number of seats, The most Republicans could pick up is 10.

00:10:29.000 That is how big a swing there could be in the Senate. 0.72

00:10:32.000 That would bring in somebody like Nella Domenici running in New Mexico. 1.00

00:10:36.000 It's a long shot.

00:10:38.000 But the Democrats' margins that most they could pick up if everything went perfect is two in the Senate, Florida and Texas.

00:10:45.000 Neither of those is likely going to happen.

00:10:47.000 Republicans could be on their way to a sweep, the maximum number being 10 seats.

00:10:51.000 Democrats need to panic.

00:10:53.000 This is why I think that they've dug themselves such a deep hole. 0.89

00:10:56.000 That montage right there is so powerful of them saying he's on the top of the game, best ever, and then you put him on TV and people know that they are liars. 0.68

00:11:04.000 They have lied and lied and lied repeatedly.

00:11:10.000 Are you ready to lose weight, but not sure where to start?

00:11:12.000 I understand.

00:11:13.000 I was right where you are two years ago.

00:11:27.000 There is so much more.

00:11:27.000 They know that 90% of permanent change comes from the mind.

00:11:30.000 and they work on eliminating the reason you gain this weight in the first place.

00:11:33.000 There's no shortcuts, pills or injections, just solid science-based nutrition and behavior change.

00:11:37.000 And finally, and probably most importantly, I lost 30 pounds. Look, they're amazing.

00:12:03.000 Her program is based on years of research and is science-based.

00:12:06.000 Second, the PhD program starts in nutrition, but it's so much more.

00:12:10.000 Go to MyPhDWeightLoss.com.

00:12:12.000 MyPhDWeightLoss.com.

00:12:13.000 Call 864-644-1900.

00:12:16.000 I lost over 30 pounds.

00:12:17.000 Dr. Asher Lucas, great American.

00:12:19.000 Check it out.

00:12:19.000 MyPhDWeightLoss.com.

00:12:23.000 All right, we're going to play a piece of tape and I want you to react to it.

00:12:26.000 I thought this was one of Donald Trump's best moments when Joe Biden was mumbling incoherently and Donald Trump had a beautiful answer.

00:12:33.000 It was well, well handled.

00:12:35.000 Play cut 97.

00:12:36.000 Making sure that we're able to make every single solitary person eligible for what I've been able to do with dealing with everything we have to do with... Look, if we finally beat Medicare... Thank you, President Biden.

00:12:58.000 President Trump?

00:12:59.000 Well, he's right.

00:13:00.000 He did beat Medicare.

00:13:01.000 He beat it to death.

00:13:03.000 Ari Fleischer, your reaction to that exchange?

00:13:06.000 Well, two things.

00:13:07.000 One is Trump's body language.

00:13:09.000 Did you notice how Trump was staring ahead and then he kind of glanced over at Biden twice as if to say, are you okay?

00:13:18.000 It was like, there's something wrong here.

00:13:20.000 So that spoke volumes.

00:13:22.000 And then Charlie, actually the best line was the line right after that, where he said, frankly, I didn't understand a word you said at the end.

00:13:29.000 And I don't think you did either.

00:13:32.000 What a put down!

00:13:34.000 And what a logical statement to say.

00:13:37.000 I completely agree.

00:13:38.000 And by the way, the way that the back and forth was handled by CNN, the fact they did the split screen was remarkable.

00:13:48.000 And you were looking more at Joe Biden being incoherent than Donald Trump actually talking at times.

00:13:56.000 I want to get this one here.

00:13:57.000 Let's play this one.

00:13:58.000 Great point.

00:13:59.000 I thought that Donald Trump's Handling of the abortion topic has not been praised enough.

00:14:07.000 This is a thicket.

00:14:08.000 I'm pro-life 100%.

00:14:09.000 I also understand the politics of the situation.

00:14:12.000 Donald Trump, Joe Biden thought this was going to be a triumphant win when Donald Trump actually ended up the winner of the abortion dialogue and turned a negative into a positive.

00:14:24.000 I thought he handled it beautifully.

00:14:27.000 Let's play cut 135.

00:14:29.000 He can take the life of the baby in the ninth month and even after birth, because some states, Democrat run, take it after birth.

00:14:37.000 Again, the governor, former governor of Virginia, put the baby down, then we decide what to do with it.

00:14:43.000 So he's willing to, as we say, rip the baby out of the womb in the ninth month and kill the baby.

00:14:49.000 Nobody wants that to happen, Democrat or Republican, nobody wants it to happen.

00:14:55.000 That is simply not true.

00:14:56.000 Roe v. Wade does not provide for that.

00:14:59.000 That's not the circumstance.

00:15:01.000 Only if a woman's life is in danger, she's going to die. 1.00

00:15:03.000 That's the only circumstance in which that can happen.

00:15:05.000 But we are not for late-term abortion.

00:15:08.000 Period.

00:15:10.000 Under Roe v. Wade, you have late-term abortion. 0.97

00:15:13.000 You can do whatever you want, depending on the state.

00:15:15.000 You can do whatever you want.

00:15:17.000 We don't think that's a good thing.

00:15:18.000 We think it's a radical thing.

00:15:20.000 We think the Democrats are the radicals, not the Republicans.

00:15:23.000 I thought that was absolutely masterful.

00:15:25.000 And by the way, Trump is correct, just so that we are clear, in New Mexico, Colorado, Oregon, Minnesota, Vermont, and New Jersey, there are no limits on abortion, period.

00:15:36.000 And Roe versus Wade allowed for that.

00:15:38.000 Ari, can you comment on the difficult issue of abortion and how Donald Trump handled that?

00:15:42.000 Yeah, Trump is trying to carve a new path for the Republicans on this.

00:15:46.000 And I think the verdict's out, frankly, Charlie.

00:15:49.000 This issue, at least politically, has benefited the Democrats so far.

00:15:53.000 Trump is right on the law.

00:15:56.000 Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided.

00:15:58.000 It properly should have been repealed, regardless of what the politics are.

00:16:02.000 And the fact that the states are moving their way through and settling this is the appropriate way for our system to handle it.

00:16:09.000 It should not be decided by fiat, by the courts, imposing legislation on the people.

00:16:15.000 It should be handled by the various legislatures of the 50 states.

00:16:18.000 That is proper.

00:16:19.000 And that's how you get to consensus.

00:16:22.000 You don't get to it by having it dictated.

00:16:25.000 And Trump is the one trying to navigate those choppy waters.

00:16:28.000 I do think he's doing a good job and Republicans need help, especially making the case that Democrats are radicals because the press will not write that story.

00:16:36.000 And so Trump needed to help drive that home in a debate with 70 million or so watching.

00:16:40.000 Final question here, Ari, about one minute remaining.

00:16:42.000 Betting odds, yes or no, if you were to put your money on, is Joe Biden going to be the nominee coming into November?

00:16:50.000 Charlie, if you put a gun to my head and said to me, will Joe Biden be the nominee in November? 0.98

00:16:56.000 My answer to you would be, shoot.

00:17:01.000 Look, I used to give it one third odds that Biden was going to withdraw before the Democratic Convention, and now it's up to 50-50 in my book.

00:17:09.000 That's how bad a performance it was.

00:17:11.000 This comes down to stubborn Joe Biden, I'm the one, I beat him before, I'll beat him again, versus the Democratic Party that is now in a meltdown fear that they're going to lose everything this November.

00:17:23.000 Excellent.

00:17:24.000 Ari, thank you so much for your time.

00:17:25.000 Brilliant analysis.

00:17:26.000 Thank you.

00:17:27.000 Thanks, Charlie.

00:18:24.000 promo code Kirk. Joining us now is Vivek Ramaswamy. Vivek was there in Atlanta yesterday. Vivek, I want to get your

00:18:33.000 immediate reaction to what happened last night and the implications for who we may or may not be running up

00:18:39.000 against moving forward. Yeah, well, Charlie, look, I said this in the Republican debates and over the course of my

00:18:46.000 entire presidential campaign last year, this was highly unlikely ever to be a Biden opponent that we were up

00:18:51.000 against.

00:18:51.000 And last night made that clear as day.

00:18:53.000 For a second, even taking the partisan goggles off, it was sad.

00:18:57.000 Just as a US citizen, as a citizen of this country, Republican or Democrat, to see a nominal president of the United States who is failing to function even the basic activities of daily living of a human being.

00:19:09.000 This is a lie, and I think the government owes the people of this country an answer.

00:19:12.000 That it's now clear that this man is not running the country.

00:19:14.000 If it's not Joe Biden, who actually is?

00:19:17.000 And I think we, the people, deserve a response on that.

00:19:20.000 But I think that was the number one takeaway from last night.

00:19:22.000 President Trump did an outstanding job.

00:19:24.000 I think it was one of his best debate performances.

00:19:26.000 I think maybe one of the best debate performances in modern history, actually.

00:19:29.000 He landed some authentic messages that I think came through the TV.

00:19:33.000 I think at the point where he said, quite honestly, and I know he believes this, He wishes that Joe Biden were a good president, because if he were, then Donald Trump wouldn't have to be putting himself through this.

00:19:42.000 He could be living a better life.

00:19:44.000 I think that landed with a lot of independents, with a lot of CEOs who I've talked to, with a lot of people who are maybe centrists or independents that are leaning towards Trump.

00:19:53.000 I think that really spoke to them.

00:19:54.000 And I think that that landed with them in a way that some of the other things that we might have said on the right may not have landed with them in the same way.

00:20:00.000 So I think it was a success.

00:20:02.000 on a number of counts. I think it opens up some real questions that our government owes

00:20:06.000 the people some hard answers on in terms of who's actually running the country right now.

00:20:10.000 We deserve to know. And I do think that this was a trap in the making. This was intentional.

00:20:15.000 What we saw last night, it was not an accident. It was by intentional design. And how do we

00:20:19.000 know that? Because the Democratic Party explicitly negotiated for this unusually early debate,

00:20:25.000 the earliest debate that's taken place in American history, the first one ever before

00:20:29.000 or the nominating convention of either party.

00:20:32.000 Why did they do it?

00:20:33.000 It was their final opportunity to toss the old man to one side.

00:20:37.000 As I've been saying for the entire last year and a half, that's exactly what they're going to do.

00:20:40.000 And what they described as a conspiracy theory last year has now become a reality today.

00:20:44.000 Now I have my views on how this is going to go, but I think it's going to make for a very Eventful five months ahead.

00:20:50.000 And that's why complacency is not an option for us, Charlie.

00:20:53.000 I think it's one of the traps we could fall into.

00:20:56.000 The other side has always been one step ahead.

00:20:58.000 And I think we risk falling into the trap of complacency if we think that the race is over because Biden failed.

00:21:03.000 It may just be that the race is just now beginning.

00:21:06.000 Lots of people might have thought we won the election last night.

00:21:08.000 That is not true.

00:21:09.000 Enjoy it.

00:21:10.000 It's been a long time since we've had a night to really enjoy where the Democrats are freaking out.

00:21:14.000 The election might just be starting.

00:21:16.000 You said this at the Republican primary debates.

00:21:18.000 Roll tape 174.

00:21:20.000 I also want to close with one message to the Democrat Party.

00:21:23.000 End this farce that Joe Biden is going to be your nominee.

00:21:26.000 We know he's not even the President of the United States. 0.86

00:21:28.000 He's a puppet for the managerial class.

00:21:31.000 So have the guts to step up and be honest about who you're actually going to put up so we can have an honest debate.

00:21:36.000 Biden should step aside.

00:21:37.000 End his candidacy now so we can see whether it's Newsom or Michelle Obama or whoever else.

00:21:42.000 Just tell us the truth so we can have an honest debate.

00:21:49.000 Well, it feels like a lifetime ago.

00:21:50.000 Vivek, then what is the process and the timeline of how you think they're going to remove Joe Biden?

00:21:56.000 Because right now Joe Biden is rallying his supporters.

00:21:59.000 They're chanting four more years.

00:22:01.000 He's leaning in, he's white knuckling.

00:22:04.000 Can this be done if Joe Biden white knuckles?

00:22:06.000 I think they're chanting four more years for Obama.

00:22:08.000 I think that's effectively who they're rooting for.

00:22:10.000 I think that in some way or maybe the person or among those who are behind the scenes right now anyway.

00:22:15.000 The reality is, I don't think Michelle Obama is off the table.

00:22:18.000 I don't think a lot of these other candidates for the Democrats are off the table, who they've otherwise dismissed so far.

00:22:23.000 And in some ways, Charlie, that's a best-case scenario that they're trying to play for, because if somebody comes in really late, it avoids them being scrutinized, but has the election occur right where they're still in the middle of the honeymoon phase.

00:22:35.000 That would be wrong.

00:22:35.000 It would be deceptive.

00:22:37.000 It would be a lie on the American people. 0.70

00:22:39.000 And if and when that happens, I want people at home and independents and libertarians and even Democrats To ask themselves, are you going to tolerate a leadership class in this country that lies to you that explicitly?

00:22:51.000 Just six weeks ago, it was New York Times headlines claiming that it was creative right-wing video clipping that was selective editing showing Joe Biden to be frail.

00:22:59.000 You know what?

00:23:00.000 None of that video clipping, however good those video clippers were, none of them could have done a better job of proving the point than actually Joe Biden directly for an hour and a half on that stage last night.

00:23:08.000 And so my message to anybody in this country who is surprised by what they saw last night, if you're actually surprised when Biden's frailties have been this clear for this long, ask yourself if the media could lie to you about that, what else are they also lying to you about right now?

00:23:24.000 It's just like they lied to you about the Russia collusion hoax, the origin of COVID, Everything else, what else are they lying to you about right now?

00:23:32.000 And I hope that's an eye-opening moment to a lot of people.

00:23:35.000 Charlie, I think the good news is I talk to a lot of people who have been successful multibillionaires, investors, etc., who even a year ago, entrepreneurs who wouldn't have thought of even publicly voicing support for Donald Trump.

00:23:46.000 Who, after a performance like last night, I think do feel some license to say, you know what?

00:23:51.000 Joe Biden has no business being the President of the United States.

00:23:54.000 It's time to coalesce around Donald Trump, even if we don't agree with everything he says.

00:23:59.000 And I think there's a temptation on our side, I even feel some of this when I have those conversations, to sort of be annoyed, to say, okay, where were you a year ago?

00:24:06.000 And where were you two years ago?

00:24:07.000 And why weren't you saying the same thing?

00:24:09.000 I think we've actually got to resist that.

00:24:10.000 If we want to win the election this year, even for people who are coming to the same views that people like you and I might have had a year ago, we should say, you know what?

00:24:18.000 We respect somebody who's able to change their mind.

00:24:21.000 That's how we're going to grow our America First coalition and really turn this election on the positive side.

00:24:26.000 So on the negative side, complacency is not an option.

00:24:28.000 But on the positive side, this could be the first landslide election possibility we've had in decades, in a generation.

00:24:35.000 And think about what that does for the possibility of actually national unity, something we've forgotten in the United States, to unite around a leader like Donald Trump.

00:24:44.000 That's a generational opportunity that I don't want to squander.

00:24:47.000 And that's going to require us to give space to centrists and even people on the center left. 0.82

00:24:52.000 Give them the space not to put them in a box and say you were wrong and have to have the views you had a year ago, but to say, you know what, if you want to open your mind and actually open your eyes and say, we're all human beings have made some mistakes.

00:25:02.000 Great.

00:25:03.000 I think this is an attitude.

00:25:04.000 This is a time for us to be charitable to those kinds of voters, be they CEOs or university leaders or anybody else to be able to come with us because we're going to need every bit of that to win this in a big way.

00:25:14.000 Joe Biden is white knuckling in a very serious way.

00:25:17.000 I think we need to broaden this critique beyond Joe Biden to the entire Democrat Party and how the Democrat Party has been lying about us as you say Vivek.

00:25:24.000 This is a very powerful montage.

00:25:26.000 We played it previously.

00:25:28.000 That it's not just a Joe Biden thing.

00:25:29.000 It's that they've been covering up for this.

00:25:30.000 This is a national security issue.

00:25:32.000 This is a violation of the fidelity to the country.

00:25:36.000 This involves Schumer and Pelosi.

00:25:38.000 This involves Debbie Dingell.

00:25:39.000 This involves Maxine Waters.

00:25:41.000 This involves Alejandro Mayorkas.

00:25:42.000 This involves Chris Murphy, this involves Coons, every major Democrat when asked. 1.00

00:25:48.000 Pritzker from Dan Schneiderman, all these guys.

00:25:48.000 J.B.

00:25:51.000 Oh, Kareem Jean-Pierre, he's the best we've ever seen him.

00:25:54.000 And the American people can now understand our ruling class.

00:25:57.000 They are pack of liars that your leaders lie to you repeatedly with zero He is sharp, intensely probing, and detail-oriented and focused.

00:26:15.000 This is a man who is sharp, who is on top of his game, who knows what's going on. 0.50

00:26:18.000 This guy's tough.

00:26:20.000 He's smart.

00:26:21.000 His mental acuity is great.

00:26:21.000 He's on his game.

00:26:23.000 This is a very sharp president.

00:26:26.000 This is a man that's on his game.

00:26:28.000 President Biden is absolutely fit.

00:26:31.000 There's not a problem.

00:26:32.000 He's sharp, he's fit, he's always answering questions.

00:26:35.000 He is on the ball.

00:26:37.000 He was sharper than anyone I've spoken to.

00:26:40.000 He is sharp, he is on top of things.

00:26:42.000 There's no doubt in my mind that the president is mentally fit for office.

00:26:45.000 Biden has proven himself to have a strong memory.

00:26:48.000 He's completely mentally sharp.

00:26:50.000 He's at the top of his game.

00:26:54.000 Oh, they are stuck, Vivek.

00:26:55.000 They have dug themselves a hole.

00:26:57.000 Vivek, your response.

00:26:59.000 The reality is this is a wake-up call for America.

00:27:01.000 Charlie, the media has lied and the government has lied systematically.

00:27:04.000 You go straight down the list.

00:27:06.000 This goes back a very long time.

00:27:07.000 You go to the Iraq War.

00:27:08.000 You go to the 2008 financial crisis.

00:27:10.000 You could go to the Russia collusion hoax that never was.

00:27:13.000 The Hunter Biden laptop story that was suppressed on the eve of the last election.

00:27:17.000 Talk about the origin of COVID-19.

00:27:19.000 The truth about what they suppressed, the basis for the prosecutions of January 6th, look at that Supreme Court ruling coming out today, finally at least bringing back some semblance of the rule of law to this country.

00:27:28.000 These people have lied, and they have lied systematically without accountability.

00:27:33.000 Is it any surprise that they continue to lie about Biden's fitness for office as well?

00:27:38.000 And so that's my message to many Democrats and many independent minded libertarians or anybody else's.

00:27:42.000 You may not agree with 100% of what Donald Trump says, but you deserve a government that actually tells you the truth and isn't staffed by people who grew up in the very swamp that we need to go in there and drain.

00:27:54.000 This is a once in a generation opportunity to restore the 1776 vision that our founding fathers had in mind when they declared independence from a lying British monarchy.

00:28:05.000 It's time to declare our new independence in 2024.

00:28:08.000 And if we squander this opportunity, we're not going to get it again.

00:28:11.000 This is the moment for Americans to actually say, you know, I don't care what label you are, black or white or forget Democrat or Republican, those labels don't mean anything.

00:28:18.000 This is our chance to put back a government that actually just tells us, for God's sake, once and for all, give us the truth.

00:28:25.000 We can handle it.

00:28:26.000 And I think the fact that they've tried to coddle us this long and failed paves the way for an opportunity that if we squandered this time, we're not going to have it again.

00:28:33.000 This is our time to step up and seize it this November.

00:28:36.000 The future of the entire Democrat Party is on the line.

00:28:38.000 They have very little margin of error.

00:28:40.000 At some point, are Democrats going to start cutting their losses, or do they say, we're just going to ride Joe Biden as far as we can and hope we do not get completely obliterated?

00:28:48.000 Now, I do not know what this looks like from this point forward, but changing out a candidate is highly risky stuff.

00:28:54.000 They very well might try this comeback kid arc.

00:28:57.000 Good luck with that.

00:28:58.000 The American people saw what they saw, and that is now tattooed into the memory.

00:29:03.000 And deprogramming that with drugs or different events.

00:29:09.000 It's not like changing a tire.

00:29:10.000 It's changing a president.

00:30:04.000 Vivek, then what needs to be our battle plan if they throw Donald Trump in prison on July 11th?

00:30:11.000 Do you think that—two questions.

00:30:13.000 What's our battle plan?

00:30:14.000 And also, do you think it's more or less likely that Merchant puts Trump in immediate prison sentence?

00:30:20.000 I think they have been playing for this prison sentence for a long time, Charlie.

00:30:23.000 If they were going to go this distance, they didn't want to stop halfway.

00:30:26.000 But the reality is, if you look at the performance of last night, it's completely made all of this irrelevant, actually.

00:30:32.000 And that's the beauty of Donald Trump and what you got to respect about everything he's done against what they set up as the odds.

00:30:38.000 First, try to take him off the ballot without even a trial.

00:30:41.000 Then multiple different cases, two federal cases, a Georgia case, as well as the New York case, all coming at once.

00:30:46.000 Three of those cases now move to one side, the New York conviction already acquitted in the eyes of the voting public.

00:30:52.000 So even if they do put him in jail, he's in some ways immunized himself.

00:30:56.000 He has created a shield based on truth, based on his vision for the future of this country.

00:31:01.000 And I respect the hell out of him for that.

00:31:03.000 And that's what makes America great, is leaders who are able to say, you know what, the people on the other side are going to continue to bring the arrows.

00:31:10.000 It didn't stop our founding fathers from winning the revolution.

00:31:12.000 And I don't think it's going to stop Donald Trump from winning this election if we all do our part as well.

00:31:18.000 So whether they put him in prison or not, I think Donald Trump has it nailed to be able to explain to the American people why it's all a sham, and why the reason they're imprisoning him is the very fact that he's running and trying to fix this country.

00:31:28.000 What I think the actual battle plan is, is how do the rest of us do our part to ensure that actual victory, such that when we come out in November, it's not 50.1 razor-thin margin, minus some shenanigans.

00:31:40.000 That's a loss.

00:31:41.000 This has to be a landslide, has to be so big that any shenanigans don't make a difference in this election.

00:31:47.000 And after last night, I think we have a first-in-a-generation opportunity to do it.

00:31:52.000 But you know what?

00:31:52.000 You don't like early voting?

00:31:53.000 Too bad.

00:31:54.000 Play by the rules as they exist, unfortunately, so that we can change the rules to what they need to be.

00:31:59.000 And we as a movement need to say, you know what?

00:32:00.000 It's not just Donald Trump's job.

00:32:02.000 If we're going to be saved, we're going to be saved because we save ourselves.

00:32:06.000 And that, I think, is the real battle plan, irrespective of what they do, putting him in prison or not.

00:32:11.000 Either way, I think that's going to work in Donald Trump's favor.

00:32:14.000 And so final question here, Vivek, I know I've got to let you go in just a second here.

00:32:17.000 A lot of people are worried about the path forward if they pull a Michelle Obama or a Gavin Newsom.

00:32:25.000 I think it's critical this summer we define that we're running against the Democrat regime, not against Joe Biden.

00:32:30.000 Your thoughts, Vivek Ramaswamy.

00:32:32.000 The reality is that we are running against a machine.

00:32:34.000 It's like the equivalent of an evil version of the San Antonio Spurs, right?

00:32:37.000 It doesn't matter which player's on the field.

00:32:39.000 It's a machine that runs itself either way.

00:32:42.000 I happened to bump into Gavin Newsom in the spin room and outside the spin room yesterday.

00:32:46.000 The guy was as radiant as I've ever seen.

00:32:47.000 I have doubts whether it'll be him versus somebody who checks the identity politic boxes like Michelle Obama.

00:32:53.000 But that's exactly the attitude.

00:32:55.000 It doesn't matter who we're against.

00:32:57.000 We're running this, it's a holy mission that we're on to revive this country, regardless of what that machine puts up.

00:33:04.000 And I also think it's something that our movement needs to keep in mind, and this is an interesting, maybe longer discussion for another day between us, Charlie.

00:33:10.000 I think our own America First movement needs to keep our eye on the ball.

00:33:14.000 Dismantling the deep state, dismantling those three-letter agencies, dismantling the regulatory state, that is actually our objective.

00:33:22.000 And sometimes we risk taking our eye off the ball going after other objectives on the way.

00:33:26.000 No, shut it down.

00:33:28.000 That has to be our objective.

00:33:30.000 And I'm challenging everybody else in our movement.

00:33:32.000 There may be a lot of other goals we want to solve for.

00:33:34.000 None of them can actually call for expansion of the regulatory state.

00:33:37.000 We keep our eye in that ball.

00:33:39.000 We shut it down.

00:33:39.000 This never happens again in American history.

00:33:42.000 But this time that is the machine we're up against.

00:33:44.000 And we're going in to dismantle that machine.

00:33:47.000 And it's going to take leaders, starting with Donald Trump, who have their eye on that objective and actually go in and deliver it.

00:33:52.000 Vivek Ramaswamy, I know you got to dash.

00:33:54.000 Thanks so much.

00:33:54.000 Great work as always.
