00:00:03.000 My name is Charlie Kirk.
00:00:05.000 I run the largest pro American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic.
00:00:11.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.
00:00:14.000 If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable.
00:00:19.000 But if the most important thing is doing good, you will end up purposeful.
00:00:24.000 College is a scam, everybody.
00:00:26.000 You've got to stop sending your kids to college.
00:00:27.000 You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.
00:00:31.000 Go start a Turning Point USA college chapter.
00:00:33.000 Go start a Turning Point USA High School chapter.
00:00:35.000 Go find out how your church can get involved.
00:00:37.000 Sign up and become an activist.
00:00:39.000 I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade.
00:00:41.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life.
00:00:43.000 And I encourage you to do the same.
00:00:45.000 Here I am.
00:00:46.000 Lord, use me.
00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:49.000 Here we go.

00:01:17.000 All right.
00:01:18.000 Welcome, everybody.
00:01:19.000 September 24, 2026.
00:01:21.000 We're here in Phoenix, Arizona at the Y Refi Studios.
00:01:24.000 Hope all of you are doing well.
00:01:25.000 How are we doing, Blake?
00:01:26.000 I'm doing stupendous because today I have my own microphone flag.
00:01:34.000 And not only is it also a Y Refi mic flag, the Y Refi on it is beautiful.
00:01:38.000 Bigger than yours, Andrew.
00:01:40.000 That's so true.
00:01:40.000 Actually, it's a good point.
00:01:41.000 Yeah.
00:01:42.000 Not okay with this.
00:01:43.000 All right.
00:01:43.000 We're going to be addressing this.
00:01:44.000 Uh oh.
00:01:45.000 Somebody's not happy.
00:01:46.000 Well, I am happy for another reason, however, and that is because MS Now reporters are still getting blocked from the White House.
00:01:55.000 It's an ongoing saga.
00:01:57.000 This morning, a judge ordered the Trump administration to submit their concerns with allowing them back in by 12 30 Eastern.
00:02:05.000 So, in about 27 minutes, they are ordered.
00:02:08.000 To get that back in and explain themselves, but what's so fun about this cold war standoff?
00:02:14.000 What's so fun about this is that you have these reporters, and I just wanted to lead with this because Real America's Voice cannot be said enough.
00:02:21.000 This network stepped into the breach, into the gap, and has been providing the pool feed for media outlets all across the world of the White House for free.
00:02:33.000 You can get it, okay?
00:02:35.000 That it is completely available to them.
00:02:37.000 Nevertheless, the saga continues.
00:02:39.000 There are wars, there's famines.
00:02:42.000 There's legislation being passed, and guess what?
00:02:44.000 The mainstream news media is covering that's right, they're covering the fact that they are not allowed into the White House, and it is glorious.
00:02:51.000 I say, hold the line, hold the line under what authority do they have to let these people in?
00:02:57.000 SOT 16.
00:02:58.000 I flashed my badge, I was allowed through the first perimeter fencing, then I went to the press pass security hut.
00:03:05.000 You put your badge on a pin pad, you tap it, you put in your pin, which I did like I do every time, and it started.
00:03:16.000 Flashing red.
00:03:17.000 I asked the U.S. Secret Service.
00:03:19.000 He took the badge, he ran it again, and he said, It's still being disabled.
00:03:26.000 But it's not clear, based on the interaction that I had, whether or not this is a defiance, as I heard Lisa was saying, of the court order, or it's some kind of incompetence or lag in the system where they have not updated our press badges and the fact that we should have access based on the judge's ruling, Jonathan.
00:03:46.000 Oh, please let it be defiance.
00:03:49.000 Let it not be mere incompetence.
00:03:52.000 Because this is just too good.
00:03:53.000 I'll be honest.
00:03:54.000 This whole story started, and I was like, what's the point of kicking out these?
00:03:58.000 I mean, they're going to cover it anyways.
00:04:00.000 I really didn't have a strong opinion about it.
00:04:02.000 Knew they deserved it.
00:04:03.000 You get more passionate because of how this is clearly the most important thing in the world to them now.
00:04:07.000 This is exactly right.
00:04:10.000 They consider themselves a priestly set aside class that deserves kid gloves, special treatment, privilege, point of personal privilege.
00:04:21.000 They continue.
00:04:22.000 SOT 17, this is from CNN.
00:04:24.000 For now, it appears that the White House may be in defiance of this court order.
00:04:28.000 We're still waiting to see.
00:04:29.000 Again, we have.
00:04:30.000 Asked for comment.
00:04:31.000 We've asked for clarification on what exactly is going on and when our credentials will be reinstated, according to that judge's temporary restraining order issued just after 1 a.m.
00:04:42.000 So, this is just like catnip for them.
00:04:44.000 They can't help it.
00:04:45.000 They are the most important persons in the country, and therefore, it will be front page news day in and day out as long as you keep these guys out of the White House.
00:04:54.000 And I say, good for you, President Trump.
00:04:56.000 Good for you, Susie Wiles.
00:04:58.000 Good for you, everybody who was behind this decision.
00:05:02.000 I completely endorse it and support it.
00:05:04.000 They should be put in their place.
00:05:06.000 Real America's Voice has proven that they are not the only act in town.
00:05:10.000 They're not the only game in town.
00:05:12.000 Real America's Voice has been building out the infrastructure to tackle this problem for years.
00:05:17.000 They were ready to step in, they have the technical expertise and the infrastructure all in place.
00:05:24.000 So that's what's going to happen.
00:05:25.000 And I would say, as long as they're covering this, guess what they're not covering?
00:05:29.000 How China's going to beat America and all this garbage, okay?
00:05:32.000 Because these people are a poison to the body politic.
00:05:36.000 They are constantly okay.
00:05:39.000 They claim that there are no more real journalists at the White House.
00:05:44.000 But riddle me this if you're covering every single policy, even when they get rid of billions of dollars in fraud that is objectively good for the American people, and it's still 92% negative coverage, is that not propaganda?
00:05:58.000 I don't want to get into that particular weed.
00:06:00.000 What gets me is just the weirdness of you and I cannot walk into the White House whenever we want.
00:06:07.000 You actually have to basically be invited.
00:06:09.000 And it does strike me that it seems journalists specifically think that they have the specific inalienable legal right to get into the absolute nerve center of power, often for specific people.
00:06:23.000 I remember they tried to, in the first term, boot out Jim Acosta and say, you have to send a different reporter to the White House.
00:06:30.000 And I think they got a judge to rule, actually, Jim Acosta specifically has the right to go into the White House and be part of the pool.
00:06:39.000 Well, and so what they are doing, if you actually look into the court orders and the The DOJ filed on behalf of the White House here, and they basically cited multiple national security leaks that have been given to these outlets as the justification for doing it.
00:06:54.000 They said it's in the national security interest of the United States to ban these people from the White House.
00:06:58.000 So it's going to be interesting to see how it plays out.
00:07:01.000 My whole take is that people love it.
00:07:03.000 It is the most popular thing I've seen online that the Trump administration has done in the last couple months.
00:07:09.000 They fundamentally dislike journalists.
00:07:10.000 And I guess the thing that we're seeing here is whether they fully deserve it or not, they become.
00:07:16.000 Much more unlikable when they flip out and make everything about themselves.
00:07:20.000 Sanctimony.
00:07:20.000 To the most, yeah, sanctimony.
00:07:21.000 Sanctimony is so galling and so, it's stomach turning to watch them be so self important.
00:07:30.000 And I think that's why this is so enjoyable.
00:07:32.000 Yeah, so much.
00:07:32.000 I mean, we talked about how, for example, when we were watching 9 11 footage, 25 year anniversary, I was watching a lot of CNN stuff.
00:07:41.000 And then I just thought about the CNN that I had to see every day.
00:07:44.000 When I worked at Fox, for example, they would have CNN often playing on TVs in there and show the competition.
00:07:49.000 And every single day it would have new heights of kind of ridiculously propagandistic chirons.
00:07:56.000 I think I remember one that was just President Trump refuses to apologize for lies, I think was their subhead one day.
00:08:04.000 Yeah, I mean, and this is what's interesting.
00:08:06.000 I mean, I think that they have been doing penance for 10 years because Jeff Zuckerberg thinks that he's responsible for getting President Trump elected the first time because they covered his rallies.
00:08:15.000 He's totally responsible.
00:08:16.000 He should feel.
00:08:17.000 But this is what it is.
00:08:18.000 So, what you're actually seeing is this long march of penance by CNN and the others that feel that they are responsible for the state of the country because they are.
00:08:29.000 Because they are.
00:08:30.000 This is why we can't have nice things.
00:08:32.000 This is why we can't have ICE agents not be accosted and attacked on the streets, is because of these miscreants, these propagandists.
00:08:41.000 And so I'm totally here for it.
00:08:43.000 Send us your thoughts.
00:08:44.000 Freedom at CharlieKirk.com.
00:08:45.000 Do you like it?
00:08:46.000 What happens?
00:08:47.000 Send us this email.
00:08:49.000 If the judge says that President Trump and the Trump administration have to allow these people back into the White House, which they've sort of already said, but they've been given another few minutes here to file their response.
00:09:00.000 What happens then?
00:09:01.000 Should they defy the judge?
00:09:02.000 Is this where we go?
00:09:04.000 Is this where we finally push back against the black robe regime and their tyranny?
00:09:10.000 Let us know your thoughts.
00:09:11.000 Freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:09:14.000 Another story we are watching, I'm going to just throw it out there as a quick aside, is this kratom, these kratom deaths at Ole Miss.
00:09:21.000 It's like that horrible Russia drug, right?
00:09:23.000 It's basically like drugs you can get legally at the gas station.
00:09:26.000 Oh.
00:09:27.000 And there's been two deaths at Ole Miss.
00:09:29.000 So we're watching that.
00:09:30.000 We might go into more depth about that, but just put it this way if you see kratom at the.
00:09:35.000 Gas station or whatever, avoid it like the plague, like the plague, along with all the other substances.
00:09:40.000 Yeah, but for real, this stuff is going crazy, especially with young people, and it's legal.
00:09:46.000 Don't mess around with it, okay?
00:09:48.000 I had a friend that got totally hooked on this stuff, and it was getting off it was this huge saga.
00:09:53.000 God bless him, he did a great job getting off it, but it was like a whole I mean, this stuff is real serious stuff, and they just sell it at the stores.
00:09:59.000 We need to get this stuff banned.
00:10:00.000 I'm not even kidding.
00:10:02.000 Okay, we got a bunch of emails about what President Trump should do with the press, the White House.
00:10:07.000 Yes.
00:10:08.000 We got to give President Trump some kudos here.
00:10:11.000 He has changed fundamentally the dynamic with the mainstream news media.
00:10:17.000 And it's a testament to the power of this audience at Real America's Voice, a testament of what Charlie has done, what Jack has done, what Bannon has done to help cultivate this audience, John Solomon, so many others.
00:10:27.000 So kudos to you guys.
00:10:30.000 God bless you.
00:10:30.000 Okay.
00:10:31.000 The email's like flooded in.
00:10:32.000 All right.
00:10:32.000 Okay.
00:10:32.000 Yeah.
00:10:33.000 So we have Jeff says, let them in, don't call on them.
00:10:36.000 Which we love.
00:10:37.000 Lana said similarly, put them in the back of the room.
00:10:40.000 And ignore them.
00:10:41.000 And that would be really funny.
00:10:42.000 Michael says, Defy, defy, defy.
00:10:46.000 I'm sick of them going to these activist judges and getting away with it.
00:10:51.000 Robert, let's see.
00:10:53.000 No, Alessandra says, Donald Trump must never, ever let these Cretans into the White House.
00:10:58.000 This is the real people's house, not for them.
00:11:01.000 They cheat and lie.
00:11:02.000 He must fight this.
00:11:04.000 They are part of the lying media networks.
00:11:07.000 I love our audience.
00:11:09.000 Daniel says, The state socialist media will say the White House is racist for not letting them in.
00:11:15.000 They probably will.
00:11:16.000 They'll probably find a way to say that.
00:11:17.000 That's just like the Congress head.
00:11:19.000 Sharon says if the Lion MSM must for now be admitted, just take none of their questions, seat them in the back or against the back wall, and give them no privileges.
00:11:28.000 I do think that would be the funniest possible thing to say.
00:11:31.000 You need to make them all wear a dress.
00:11:32.000 You're let in, and if they can maintain discipline to never, ever call on them, and then that could lead to a really funny drama.
00:11:40.000 Will we get a court order to say you have to ask?
00:11:43.000 Let Politico ask a question.
00:11:45.000 Will you get a court order that says you have to answer that question?
00:11:50.000 You have to give CNN an interview or else?
00:11:53.000 It's getting obscene.
00:11:54.000 I wonder where they'll go with it.
00:11:55.000 Totally good.
00:11:56.000 And we've seen how they collaborate.
00:11:57.000 So you could get very funny drama where every person in this wider range of outlets, they'll just say, Could you please answer CNN's questions?
00:12:05.000 Exactly.
00:12:05.000 I'm going to defer my questions.
00:12:06.000 It's total high school drama.
00:12:07.000 And then you go, Well, sorry, no questions then.
00:12:09.000 And without wading into any of the legal arguments, I find it very funny.
00:12:14.000 That's the whole point.
00:12:14.000 This is great.
00:12:15.000 Listen, I just want to.
00:12:18.000 I woke up this morning and there's all this doom and gloom out there, right?
00:12:22.000 If you're in a Trump plus 15 district, then you're not going to be able to check the polling.
00:12:27.000 I'm telling you, I think there's a whole psyop going on.
00:12:29.000 I think there's a whole.
00:12:30.000 Yes, we are behind.
00:12:31.000 I'm not saying that it's like that big of a psyop.
00:12:34.000 But when have polls ever given Republicans affairs?
00:12:38.000 When has a poll ever oversampled Republicans?
00:12:42.000 Never.
00:12:43.000 Never once.
00:12:44.000 Never once does a poll come out like that.
00:12:47.000 So do not give in to this psyop.
00:12:50.000 Do not give in to this doom and gloom psyop.
00:12:52.000 We have a fighting chance to hold the Senate and the House.
00:12:56.000 Mark my words.
00:12:57.000 And, you know, I was looking at.
00:12:59.000 David Marcus, Fox reporter, great guy.
00:13:02.000 He's on the ground in Minnesota.
00:13:03.000 He's like, hey, listen, I don't believe the polls anymore.
00:13:05.000 I'm on the ground, and there is a real chance Michelle Tafoyo takes this.
00:13:10.000 All right.
00:13:10.000 So the point is, we have hope.
00:13:12.000 We're going to talk about that in an hour, too, by the way.
00:13:14.000 But go ahead, Blake.
00:13:14.000 Well, I just really liked we got Anthony's idea.
00:13:17.000 He says what they should do is build a press media tent inside the White House because they have credentials, like you use for a party, put a TV with speakers in there and no mics and make them watch the briefings that way.
00:13:28.000 Oh, I love that.
00:13:29.000 And they can submit their questions.
00:13:30.000 Also, don't provide any heat or AC and put it right by the White House.
00:13:36.000 And they'll provide their own.
00:13:37.000 These people, I'm telling you, because you got to remember, they think that they are priests.
00:13:41.000 They think that they are sanctified, washed in the holy ink of old news media.
00:13:49.000 They're not.
00:13:50.000 They're just people.
00:13:51.000 I know these people, by the way.
00:13:52.000 A lot of them are total degenerates.
00:13:54.000 All right, we got to get to this Mizzou story before we bring on Shane Winnings in the next segment, because I want you guys to have the background here.
00:14:01.000 This happened yesterday.
00:14:03.000 I posted it on X.
00:14:04.000 I think it's at like 2 million.
00:14:06.000 Okay.
00:14:06.000 Like a lot of people are talking about it.
00:14:08.000 And it was really shocking stuff.
00:14:10.000 I'm just going to play the clip.
00:14:11.000 You can hear it for yourself and we'll discuss.
00:14:14.000 Stop for it.
00:14:16.000 It is worth it to have a couple gun deaths every couple years in order to keep our Second Amendment right.
00:14:21.000 I agree.
00:14:22.000 Excellent.
00:14:24.000 That's all I had to say.
00:14:26.000 That's what Charlie Kirk thought too.
00:14:28.000 And he died by his word.
00:14:29.000 Yeah.
00:14:30.000 And you know what?
00:14:31.000 What's brave is when people believe something and they die for it.
00:14:35.000 And.
00:14:35.000 They wouldn't have changed their opinion.
00:14:37.000 That's called a conviction, and I pray that you find out what that means one day.
00:14:40.000 No, I agree, and I think that it's great that he died for his beliefs.
00:14:43.000 So you are for people being killed for freedom of speech?
00:14:49.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:14:50.000 I think that's completely un American.
00:14:52.000 That's insane, actually.
00:14:53.000 Okay, so you're for people being killed for the Second Amendment, right?
00:14:57.000 The Second Amendment doesn't kill anybody.
00:14:58.000 Murderous people kill people.
00:15:00.000 Okay, whatever it is.
00:15:01.000 Charlie died for way more reasons than his Second Amendment belief.
00:15:05.000 That was crazy.
00:15:06.000 Not clap, thank you.
00:15:09.000 So, for those who can't see that, not only was that guy saying, Yeah, I support people being killed for the First Amendment, but he was wearing, in mockery of Charlie, a white freedom t shirt, has it all dyed red, you know, neck injury looks.
00:15:25.000 On the left side.
00:15:26.000 Yeah.
00:15:26.000 Yeah.
00:15:27.000 And has it all done up to look exactly like Charlie when he got shot.
00:15:32.000 And yeah, shows up, says, I support people being killed for the First Amendment, has people behind him clapping like seals, which.
00:15:39.000 That's what always stands out for me.
00:15:41.000 There are individual cranks who will do anything, but a big difference between right and left.
00:15:47.000 If there were any left wing icon who was horribly murdered, assassinated in public, it would never occur to me to go right in the face of liberals who might be memorializing him, remembering who loved that specific person, and mock them over it, dress up in a costume.
00:16:06.000 And more to the point, it would be completely impossible for me to get a dozen people to tag along with me, to clap like seals when I did it.
00:16:15.000 Well, check this out.
00:16:16.000 So when we talk about Trans Tifa, we talk about that the whole transgender.
00:16:22.000 You know, the movement is actually a really violent movement.
00:16:26.000 Show this image.
00:16:27.000 Show 139.
00:16:28.000 So, this is some internet sleuths have tracked down this kid that did this, that mocked Charlie's death.
00:16:35.000 And you can see kill cops, kiss girls.
00:16:40.000 And him and a buddy seem to be dressing up with guns and body armor and magazines.
00:16:48.000 And it's, you know, saying happy MF pride, separate by class and keep the middle low, instill the order with the border just for show.
00:16:56.000 Build the weapons and let them have their peace of mind.
00:16:59.000 I mean, this is deep, dark fantasy, bloodlust of killing.
00:17:07.000 I mean, this is like, this is not good, folks.
00:17:12.000 And I put on the caption that this is a spiritual war.
00:17:15.000 And I hope that you're looking at this and really internalizing that.
00:17:19.000 We got to pray for our country.
00:17:20.000 We got to pray for safety.
00:17:21.000 We got to pray that whatever is inflicting these kids like this.
00:17:27.000 We rip it out root and stem from this country.
00:17:32.000 Shane Winnings joins us now.
00:17:34.000 He is an Afghan war vet, a former law enforcement officer, a preacher, and he's chairman and CEO of Promise Keepers.
00:17:41.000 And he's been out in the field with our field team doing pick up the mic events at campuses all across the country.
00:17:48.000 And he's like, You're a machine, Shane.
00:17:50.000 You're going from one to the next to the next.
00:17:53.000 And yesterday we played it and we can play it as B roll.
00:17:56.000 We already played the clip in the last segment.
00:17:58.000 But what did you think?
00:18:02.000 When this, I guess, sort of androgynous looking person approaches the mic wearing a T shirt, a Freedom T shirt with blood on the left side, obviously mocking Charlie in the way he was killed.
00:18:16.000 You engaged him in the debate, but I could tell there must have been a moment where you're like, do I even do this?
00:18:22.000 What was going through your mind in that moment, Shane?
00:18:24.000 Yeah, and thanks for having me.
00:18:26.000 You know, this individual had been there for a couple of hours since nearly the beginning, and I had.
00:18:32.000 You know, kind of called them to come up to the mic, you know, hey, you came here in this outfit.
00:18:37.000 Why don't you have the courage to come say something?
00:18:39.000 And they wouldn't.
00:18:40.000 And thankfully, there was a group of frat guys who were there.
00:18:43.000 They actually were the ones who had the viral video when Trump was elected at the University of Missouri.
00:18:48.000 I believe it's Sigma New.
00:18:50.000 Some of their members came forward and called this individual out on the mic.
00:18:53.000 And I used that momentum to call them forward and they came.
00:18:57.000 So, you know, as dark as it feels sometimes, I'm grateful and have hope that we have some real patriots, real God fearing, God loving people on those campuses.
00:19:06.000 To back us up.
00:19:08.000 Yeah.
00:19:08.000 I mean, there's a reason why Charlie specifically was, you know, took note of trans people in the audience or at the events.
00:19:17.000 And the more we know about this person, the internet's been sleuthing around.
00:19:21.000 There's a big, big fascination with blood, big fascination with guns.
00:19:26.000 He's posing with a sign saying, kill cops, kiss girls.
00:19:32.000 You know, did you feel, I mean, did you feel like threatened by this person at all?
00:19:37.000 Was any of that energy going on or was it just, Did you just feel like it was there for just mocking sake?
00:19:43.000 I definitely felt like it was just mocking.
00:19:46.000 You know, there weren't any threats made.
00:19:48.000 Obviously, they didn't, you know, make any kind of threatening motions or movements or say anything particularly threatening.
00:19:55.000 You know, and what I'm finding is just trying to have compassion, remember that somewhere underneath this facade of a human that we're witnessing is a person that God deeply cares about.
00:20:06.000 And so I'm trying to balance accountability and compassion and mercy and all of these things at once.
00:20:12.000 And so I think delivering a direct truth, telling someone, hey, You know, I believe the way that you think is sad, and I think that you're a sick person.
00:20:21.000 But pointing them back to like Christ as the one who can change the heart, I think that's the real victory there.
00:20:26.000 And so, you know, they came up, they got their 90 seconds of fame, but the internet is doing its thing.
00:20:31.000 And yeah, this person had a pretty dark past.
00:20:34.000 And what concerned me the most was the initial response from Mizzou, who didn't even want us on campus and then didn't want to provide a strong police presence.
00:20:43.000 And so, hopefully, now after the fact, they realize they've got some pretty evil people walking their campus and they need to do a better job protecting their students.
00:20:51.000 At a student held function, they didn't want to provide a police presence.
00:20:56.000 You're kidding.
00:20:57.000 Really?
00:20:57.000 They pushed back on that, that they would have, let's have security, let's have police.
00:21:02.000 Outrageous.
00:21:02.000 What is the most famous thing that has ever happened thanks to one of these events?
00:21:06.000 Right.
00:21:06.000 Yeah, we had one cop who was kind of sitting and didn't seem very interested.
00:21:11.000 And they wouldn't allow us to fly our drone to check the rooftops.
00:21:14.000 They assured us they had their own going on.
00:21:17.000 And, you know, we had some great security.
00:21:19.000 We've had an amazing experience with these other campuses.
00:21:23.000 I mean, Nebraska, we were just at two days before.
00:21:25.000 Guys on every single rooftop with snipers and binoculars and clearing buildings when they got alleged threats or whatever.
00:21:33.000 I mean, they did an incredible job.
00:21:35.000 Mizzou was the complete opposite.
00:21:37.000 So I just found it fascinating that the one campus where we really have a crazy kind of experience like this is the one where they didn't seem too interested in showing a true presence on campus.
00:21:49.000 That just feels dark to me.
00:21:50.000 Like there's some sort of weird, you know, because you think back, Mizzou had all that crazy race stuff and.
00:21:56.000 I don't know, man.
00:21:57.000 There's something, something.
00:21:59.000 And this is what you find when you go to these different college campuses.
00:22:01.000 You go to each one, and Shane, maybe you can speak to this.
00:22:04.000 Each one has its own vibe.
00:22:06.000 And I would say a spiritual reality that is over it.
00:22:10.000 Now, Missouri is a great state.
00:22:12.000 Eric Schmidt, Senator Eric Schmidt, Senator Josh Hawley, great friends of the show, both tremendous Patriots, you know, big Mizzou fans, all that stuff.
00:22:20.000 But I mean, that doesn't negate the fact that locally at these campuses, you can feel a heaviness.
00:22:26.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:22:27.000 And your caption on your ex posts.
00:22:30.000 Was you couldn't have said anything else or said it better.
00:22:32.000 We are in a spiritual war, and my team, you know, our wives at home are saying the same thing.
00:22:37.000 We feel like something has shifted this semester, specifically yesterday.
00:22:41.000 And when you're out there again, I didn't feel fear, I didn't feel panic, I didn't feel anything like that.
00:22:46.000 But I definitely felt for the first time, and I've done almost 50 campuses, if not more, in the last two years.
00:22:52.000 This was the first campus where I really felt like there is a tension that is happening in the spiritual world.
00:22:59.000 We're seeing it play out, we're seeing people who support coming out in droves.
00:23:03.000 You know, we're having.
00:23:03.000 Having three, four, 500 people at these events, thank God.
00:23:07.000 But we're also seeing the other side come out and make their presence known.
00:23:11.000 And so I'm excited for the rest of our tour stops.
00:23:13.000 But man, we've got to be in prayer and we definitely need the campus security to do their job.
00:23:18.000 Yeah, I'm going to send this clip to some friends in Missouri because that's unacceptable, Shane.
00:23:24.000 We're talking about the fact that it's a spiritual war.
00:23:27.000 I'm going to play this next clip.
00:23:28.000 This was Bo Diddle, our TPSA Frontlines reporter, and he was in Idaho, another conservative place.
00:23:36.000 And this happened, Sad 18.
00:23:39.000 Check this out.
00:23:39.000 You want to see my impersonation of Charlie Kirk?
00:23:43.000 Gang violence.
00:23:47.000 You know, if disgusting human was in the dictionary, it would have a picture of you.
00:23:51.000 Perfect.
00:23:51.000 That is absolutely vile to make.
00:23:54.000 I'll actually give you a bottle of my own so you can freeze and come dump it on my own grave when I die, bro.
00:23:59.000 That way I can on my own grave.
00:24:00.000 How do you feel about that?
00:24:02.000 I'm not going to disrespect you, but.
00:24:06.000 Very sad.
00:24:07.000 Microphone sticking in people's faces is disrespect.
00:24:09.000 Write it down, take a picture.
00:24:10.000 I don't give a.
00:24:12.000 Charlie Kirk, your Jim Crow Jesus, and your Turning Point USA.
00:24:16.000 Out of here.
00:24:17.000 No one cares, Bo.
00:24:19.000 So it turns out, Shane, the internet did its thing with this guy, too.
00:24:23.000 And him and his spouse, wife, girlfriend, partner, whatever, they're Satanists.
00:24:30.000 They're actual Satanists in Idaho.
00:24:33.000 You surprised?
00:24:34.000 Yeah, it does not surprise me.
00:24:36.000 And true Satanism is not, you know, the worship of Satan, the demon, you know, the devil, as we know.
00:24:41.000 That is a small percentage of Satanism.
00:24:43.000 The majority of Satanism is worship of self.
00:24:46.000 And that is what we're seeing.
00:24:48.000 And, you know, I find it more and more interesting.
00:24:50.000 The more campuses we go to and students we talk to, conservatives at large want to have conversations and influence the hearts and minds of America to make the right decisions come voting day and how they live their lives.
00:25:03.000 And the left, who claims us to be fascists and dictators and all this, hate us for having conversations and want to kill us for what we say.
00:25:11.000 So, you know, they are what they call us.
00:25:14.000 And we just have to remember we can't fight fire with fire, we don't respond the way they do.
00:25:18.000 We respond with truth.
00:25:19.000 We're very direct.
00:25:20.000 We're very strong.
00:25:22.000 We're filled with faith, but we also carry God's heart of compassion and love.
00:25:26.000 And that's what makes us different at the end of the day.
00:25:29.000 That's why people love Charlie.
00:25:30.000 They still continue to speak well of him.
00:25:33.000 And I pray that for all of us on campuses, they can say the same about us.
00:25:36.000 Yeah.
00:25:37.000 I mean, it's just, I sent a picture.
00:25:39.000 You can actually see this picture if the chat could get it up.
00:25:42.000 And I love your heart there, Shane.
00:25:44.000 And I love your courage.
00:25:45.000 But this is literally him and his, I don't know, partner wearing devil horns.
00:25:54.000 I mean, and again, another instance where there seems to be a fascination with guns.
00:26:00.000 If you could throw this one up, I know I'm just throwing these on you on the fly, team.
00:26:03.000 So, but yeah, look at it.
00:26:05.000 It seems to be another fascination here in Idaho, in Missouri, in Red America.
00:26:11.000 So, and they want to ask us why we want ARs as law abiding citizens and they want to ban the Second Amendment.
00:26:18.000 Look at who also has rifles and they're not yelling about the left having rifles.
00:26:22.000 So, this is a great point, actually.
00:26:24.000 And I want to bring this up because that.
00:26:27.000 Going back to Mizzou, the kid with the blood all over his shirt brought up the comments from Charlie on the Second Amendment.
00:26:37.000 And Charlie, people love to use this quote against Charlie.
00:26:41.000 Charlie was talking about how, guess what?
00:26:43.000 There is a cost to freedom.
00:26:45.000 There are 50,000 car deaths, accidents, and fatalities in the United States every year.
00:26:51.000 Does that mean that we want to remove that freedom and ban cars and ban driving?
00:26:56.000 Charlie said, no.
00:26:57.000 Because as adults, we can understand that there is a trade off for freedom.
00:27:02.000 Does it mean that we treat it as a triviality that people die?
00:27:06.000 Of course not.
00:27:07.000 We want to make things safer.
00:27:08.000 We want people to wear their seatbelts, no drunk driving.
00:27:11.000 We want people to drive safe.
00:27:12.000 That's why we like cops, because they hand out tickets for reckless driving.
00:27:16.000 But it also could be applied to the Second Amendment.
00:27:19.000 And we understand that there are deaths involved because people have the freedom to own guns.
00:27:24.000 But that doesn't mean you remove that right from humans.
00:27:26.000 And here's, but they love to throw that in Charlie's face.
00:27:30.000 They love to say, Charlie, you got it coming.
00:27:33.000 You asked for it, or something evil and sick like this.
00:27:36.000 Your thoughts on this, Shane?
00:27:37.000 Yeah, you know, and that's why I tried to respond the way I did and just say, you know what?
00:27:42.000 I don't believe Charlie would change his mind if he could come back because that is called having a conviction.
00:27:47.000 And these people don't understand what conviction means.
00:27:50.000 You know, these people will fold under pressure.
00:27:53.000 And a true patriot, you know, a true American will hold to their convictions, even if it costs them their life, because it makes sense.
00:28:00.000 And what Charlie said makes sense.
00:28:02.000 We don't talk about the amount of lives saved by guns, we don't talk about the amount of crimes prevented by good guys with guns.
00:28:09.000 And it's just like you said, it's called acceptable losses.
00:28:12.000 And unfortunately, you know, our friend Charlie was taken because of a gun, but that does not make what he said untrue.
00:28:19.000 And many of us still feel the same.
00:28:20.000 I still feel the same.
00:28:22.000 And it's just having conviction.
00:28:24.000 And I pray these people learn what that actually feels like to be able to live for something and even die for something that you believe is true.
00:28:32.000 Amen.
00:28:32.000 Shane Winnings, you're a great guy.
00:28:34.000 You're out there doing the hard work, Shane.
00:28:36.000 So keep it up and stay safe.
00:28:38.000 And you let us know if any of these universities are giving you a problem because it's unacceptable.
00:28:44.000 Absolutely, I will thank you guys.
00:28:45.000 Environment, all right, God bless you, my friend.
00:28:47.000 Keep on, keep on, keep up the good work, my friend.
00:28:52.000 I want to talk to you about an issue so many Americans face, and that's health insurance.
00:28:58.000 There's an organization I really, really appreciate called Christian Healthcare Ministries.
00:29:03.000 CHM is a faith based alternative to health insurance, and this is real stuff, folks.
00:29:09.000 Like, you gotta listen in.
00:29:10.000 With CHM, you're not paying into a company's profit margin, you're investing in a community.
00:29:16.000 With less overhead than the competition, you get reliable support through the giving and prayer of fellow members.

00:30:07.000 Archbishop Fulton Sheen is the beatification.
00:30:11.000 I think I'm saying that right.
00:30:12.000 Yep.
00:30:13.000 Listen, I'm a cradle Catholic.
00:30:15.000 I'm not a practicing Catholic now, but I have great love for the Catholics.
00:30:18.000 And Archbishop Fulton Sheen was a great preacher.
00:30:22.000 Great preacher, which honestly, Catholics aren't really known for having great preachers.
00:30:27.000 This guy could preach.
00:30:28.000 Yes.
00:30:29.000 Let's go ahead and play Sot 12, a little throwback.
00:30:32.000 False compassion, which is gradually growing in this country, is a pity that is shown not to the mugged, but to the mugger.
00:30:48.000 Not to the family of the murdered, but to the murderer.
00:30:54.000 There are the social slobberers.
00:30:58.000 Who insists on compassion being shown to the muggers, to the dope fiends, to the throat slashers, to the beatnicks, to the prostitutes, to the homosexuals, to the punks, so that today the decent man is practically off the reservation?
00:31:22.000 This is the false compassion.
00:31:24.000 Wow!
00:31:25.000 Yeah!
00:31:26.000 Come on, break it.
00:31:27.000 Banger after this.
00:31:28.000 Banger.
00:31:29.000 I love the beatniks in there.
00:31:30.000 The beatniks.
00:31:30.000 They deserve to be hated more.
00:31:32.000 The beatniks were terrible.
00:31:33.000 Gosh.
00:31:34.000 And this guy was a huge preacher, huge preacher.
00:31:37.000 Television, I think he had like a weekly audience of 30 million back in the 50s.
00:31:41.000 I believe it was Life is Worth Living, I think.
00:31:43.000 Was that what it was?
00:31:43.000 Not exactly.
00:31:44.000 Should we have Jack?
00:31:45.000 Yes, I know we're saying.
00:31:46.000 Life is Worth Living.
00:31:48.000 Okay, we have Jack.
00:31:49.000 Jack Basobic is in St. Louis.
00:31:50.000 Thousands of people gathered to honor the beatification of Fulton Sheen.
00:31:56.000 Tell us what it's like there, Jack.
00:31:57.000 Well, guys, it's incredible.
00:31:59.000 And in fact, as you see behind me, there's 50,000 people here.
00:32:02.000 And it's not just Catholics, by the way, it's Christians, it's people who are just curious.
00:32:08.000 It's a celebration of American patriotism.
00:32:10.000 It's an awakening of bringing Christ back into the public square.
00:32:14.000 You're seeing behind me, this is the Sheen Expo, and the crowd is turning over, by the way.
00:32:19.000 You've got a ton of young priests, you've got Gen Z, you've got nuns all over the place, sisters.
00:32:25.000 And again, by the way, this is just the convention hall because later this afternoon in America's Dome where the St. Louis Rams used to play, they're filling out the entire football stadium for the two hour beatification mass and celebration.
00:32:42.000 Of Fulton Sheen.
00:32:43.000 I'm calling it an American consecration.
00:32:46.000 Oh, I love that.
00:32:47.000 And what's interesting here, Jack, is that Pope Leo is in support of this.
00:32:52.000 I mean, can you imagine Pope Leo saying anything that Fulton Sheen would say?
00:32:58.000 I mean, we just played a clip from him, Jack.
00:32:59.000 It was pretty based.
00:33:01.000 You know, it's actually amazing because Fulton Sheen was extremely anti communist.
00:33:07.000 He was someone who spoke out against the dangers of the Soviet Union.
00:33:10.000 Even on his radio show during World War II, J. Edgar Hoover opened up an investigation of him.
00:33:15.000 Because he was speaking out against the Soviet Union when we were allied with them during World War II.
00:33:20.000 He never stopped.
00:33:21.000 He never dropped denouncing these godless atheist communists.
00:33:25.000 And it just fundamentally understood that communism stood as opposition to Christianity, opposition to God, opposition to the idea of natural rights.
00:33:35.000 By the way, later on in that clip you guys just played, he starts going off on novelists and he calls John Steinbeck a slob and a pervert.
00:33:43.000 It's just hilarious the levels that he would go to.
00:33:46.000 He said it started with the novelists.
00:33:48.000 It started with the list of things.
00:33:49.000 But he understood it.
00:33:50.000 We talk about this on Thought Time.
00:33:52.000 We get into the culture.
00:33:53.000 He understood it was about the culture.
00:33:54.000 Totally.
00:33:55.000 I feel like this feels very relevant right now.
00:33:57.000 You know, you got Sonny Hostin.
00:33:59.000 I don't know if we're going to get to the story today.
00:34:00.000 She's claiming credit for letting the butcher of, what is it, some park?
00:34:04.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:34:05.000 Off.
00:34:05.000 She was the lone holdout juror.
00:34:07.000 And she's like trying to find common cause with Lindsey Clancy.
00:34:10.000 Turns out she's lying, by the way.
00:34:12.000 She wasn't the lone holdout juror, which is actually better for her.
00:34:15.000 She should want the truth, not the lie.
00:34:18.000 But I've often said that it's these.
00:34:20.000 Anti heroes, the breaking bads, the worshiping the villain in Hollywood and pop culture that is starting to at least contribute to the inversion of morality.
00:34:30.000 Fulton Sheen was so early on this.
00:34:32.000 That's exactly right.
00:34:33.000 And he saw it in the literature, again, calling out John Steinbeck and others.
00:34:36.000 He said it was, and this is when Lolito was a big novel at the time, which is one that talked about love between a young girl.
00:34:46.000 It's very strange stuff, very strange stuff, many of which comes from France.
00:34:50.000 But he called it.
00:34:52.000 In its time, the 60s and 70s specifically, the end of Christendom.
00:34:57.000 And what does Christendom mean?
00:34:59.000 He meant the influence of Christianity on the public culture, on politics, on media, and in providing for that moral underpinning of society.
00:35:09.000 And he called it out as the end of Christendom.
00:35:12.000 And something I think should come as no surprise to anyone is that, of course, our dear friend Charlie was a huge Fulton Sheen fan.
00:35:19.000 He would always send me clips back and forth.
00:35:21.000 He'd be looking at stuff.
00:35:23.000 You may even say that.
00:35:24.000 That Fulton Sheen gave some inspiration.
00:35:26.000 Maybe a couple of those lines that Charlie would give in some of his fiery preachings.
00:35:30.000 Maybe a little bit of that spirit of Fulton Sheen from an Irishman to a Scotsman.
00:35:34.000 Charlie, people would always ask if Charlie was Catholic or becoming Catholic.
00:35:37.000 And he'd always say, No, but if there are specific ones that he thought were admirable, he loved it.
00:35:42.000 And I think that's what would have appealed to him the most.
00:35:45.000 We saw Charlie over and over complain that preachers were cowardly.
00:35:49.000 They wanted to stay away from hot button issues.
00:35:52.000 They wanted to contain the faith to within the walls of their church and not make anyone angry.
00:35:58.000 And he would absolutely love someone like Sheen, who's going on national radio, national TV, and saying things are catastrophically wrong.
00:36:07.000 And If you are not taking action to fix them, to fight against them, you are sinning and you may go to hell for it.
00:36:15.000 Yeah.
00:36:16.000 Jack, I have a question.
00:36:19.000 What was Fulton Sheen's perspective on Vatican II?
00:36:21.000 I'm just curious.
00:36:23.000 It was one of those things where going into it, I think there was a lot of hope that Vatican II would be sort of along the lines of his own pontificate, his own public work, I should say, that it would be a way to bring more people into the church.
00:36:37.000 So I think he was optimistic.
00:36:39.000 Of it, but he saw very quickly that the world had changed.
00:36:44.000 And so I don't know if he lived long enough to really see the ramifications and repercussions of it, but for his entire time as a priest, again, up until Vatican II, he was celebrating the Latin Mass, he was celebrating it the traditional way.
00:36:57.000 And in fact, Fulton Sheen was someone who he conducted by rituals, which means, of course, that he conducted it in Latin as well as the Greek Byzantine Rite.
00:37:10.000 Of the Mass, which is a sort of an outreach to our Orthodox brothers and sisters in the Eastern Church, because he's someone who greatly, greatly believed in that.
00:37:19.000 And in fact, John Paul II, who traveled to New York City to meet with his first visit to America, he specifically requested to meet with Fulton Sheen.
00:37:30.000 And Fulton Sheen came out just eight weeks before he died.
00:37:33.000 He fully suited up and came out to meet John Paul II.
00:37:36.000 Wow.
00:37:38.000 Jack, you know, thank you for making the time here.
00:37:40.000 I know you're busy there on the ground.
00:37:42.000 Thankful to Real America's Voice as well for supporting this.
00:37:47.000 And I just say, Fulton Sheen was a mountain of a man.
00:37:49.000 He was the Catholic Billy Graham, basically.
00:37:51.000 They were like the double barrel shotgun of Christianity during the 50s and 60s.
00:37:56.000 So God bless Fulton Sheen.
00:37:57.000 God bless you, Jack.
00:37:59.000 Love that story.
00:38:02.000 We have Ryan James Gerdusky, who is a podcast.
00:38:06.000 You got to check out his podcast.
00:38:08.000 It's by the numbers, and he's got his nappop.substack.com.
00:38:12.000 We bring him on time to time because.
00:38:15.000 He's a smart guy and a great thinker, and he's always looking at the map, the electoral map, and you're bringing in insights that other people are not.
00:38:22.000 Now, Ryan, so good to see you, and thanks for making the time today.
00:38:26.000 You have a new Substack out called The Laws of Political Gravity Are Still in Effect.
00:38:32.000 I think it's important because right now everybody's basically saying hey, if you're in an R plus 15 or a Trump plus 15, more accurately, do some polling.
00:38:40.000 You might be on the chopping block, which is freaking out a lot of people.
00:38:43.000 A lot of doom and gloom going around.
00:38:45.000 You got Cernovich saying this is the least enthusiastic the Republican base has ever been to vote.
00:38:52.000 But you're saying, hold your horses.
00:38:54.000 Yes, there's some truth to it.
00:38:58.000 But you got to, I guess, look at this through a realistic lens, through a historical lens.
00:39:03.000 So walk us through your sub stack.
00:39:05.000 What are you seeing?
00:39:05.000 What are you thinking?
00:39:07.000 Thanks.
00:39:07.000 Yeah, I wrote this in the National Populist Newsletter sub stack.
00:39:10.000 So I looked at the waves of 2025, which was only a year ago in Virginia and in New Jersey.
00:39:15.000 And in both those waves, what we saw was that in the case of Virginia, Not a single Republican running in a district that had voted for Trump by five or more points lost.
00:39:27.000 Most of the losses sustained in the state House level were in Harris districts, right?
00:39:31.000 Still painful to lose, but they were not in Republican districts.
00:39:35.000 And the few that were, were in marginal Trump seats.
00:39:37.000 Over in New Jersey, also a wave year, both Jersey and Virginia moved by about nine points left where they were just the previous year in 2024, that we saw most of the seats once again going by Harris seats or marginal Trump seats.
00:39:53.000 And actually, Republicans retained a Harris seat in Jersey and another Trump seat that he won by like half a point.
00:39:58.000 So it's not all Republicans losing R plus 15 states over and over again.
00:40:03.000 I've seen polls even showing that.
00:40:05.000 Idaho is competitive.
00:40:06.000 I don't believe any of this.
00:40:07.000 Now, if Republicans don't vote like Democrats did in 2014, yeah, anything's up for it.
00:40:13.000 If you don't vote, then of course all these states could be competitive.
00:40:16.000 Maybe in some seats where you saw Hispanics swing hugely 40 points, they might swing 35 points back.
00:40:22.000 That's easily understandable.
00:40:23.000 But in the overall average, in the median Republican seat, no, you're not going to see these R plus 20 seats or R plus 15 seats going by the wayside.
00:40:33.000 I do not believe it.
00:40:34.000 I think that the laws of political gravity are there.
00:40:36.000 In a lot of these races, you have a lot of undecideds who are mostly Republican.
00:40:39.000 I believe most of them will actually still show up for the Republican Party at the end of the day.
00:40:42.000 Yeah, interesting point.
00:40:43.000 We saw that in the, I think even in the 24 election, that if you looked by how much each state moved towards Trump, he won the overall popular vote.
00:40:51.000 And the driver of that, while we did do better in basically every state, the biggest swings are he goes, Jersey was an example.
00:40:58.000 He went from losing New Jersey by 12 points, 15 points to, oh, he loses it by seven, which is closer than a lot of swing states actually were in that year.
00:41:08.000 Or he loses Massachusetts by, 10 instead of by 25.
00:41:12.000 He's losing very blue states by a bit less.
00:41:16.000 And I guess, as you're saying, losing pretty blue districts by less, since he's doing better with Hispanics, with Asians, but those are in Democrat areas.
00:41:25.000 So there's sort of limits to how much damage you can take when those move back to maybe where they just historically are or even more Democrat.
00:41:33.000 Yeah, well, I mean, the shift in 2024 from 2020 was very heavily representative in Asian and Latino areas.
00:41:39.000 That's where you saw the huge 30 point swings at South Florida, South Texas, and some urban areas.
00:41:44.000 But they were very concentrated in blue areas.
00:41:46.000 New York City saw a big swift to the right.
00:41:49.000 Suburbs of Chicago, Los Angeles, those were all areas that flipped very heavily to the right.
00:41:53.000 They could easily flip back 20 or 30 points.
00:41:55.000 It's not unimaginable.
00:41:57.000 But for the most of the country, there was not a double digit movement in the 2024 election from 2020.
00:42:03.000 Overwhelmingly, some pockets there were, but overwhelmingly, there was a marginal movement.
00:42:08.000 And likewise, I think you see a marginal movement here.
00:42:10.000 In the case of Jersey, Jersey went from voting for Democrats, I think, by 14 points to by five points.
00:42:16.000 It was like an 8.9 point swing, very significant.
00:42:19.000 But if you look back even further in history in 2018, 2018, devastating year for Republicans, 8.5% margin overall in the generic ballot.
00:42:30.000 However, 25% of seats, or 20% of seats rather, in the 2018 election became more Republican from 2016.
00:42:38.000 So they did a great job.
00:42:40.000 Let's throw that up.
00:42:40.000 Let's throw that up, Ryan.
00:42:42.000 We got it 154, because this is from your newsletter, the NAPPOP Substack.
00:42:46.000 So I want to keep plugging that.
00:42:48.000 But yeah, so this is a swing.
00:42:50.000 And yet, you still have a bunch of districts that are going more Republican.
00:42:55.000 You can see that it's less than the blue.
00:42:57.000 Obviously, it was a blue year.
00:42:59.000 But that is maybe what we're seeing potentially in New Hampshire.
00:43:03.000 Maybe what we're seeing potentially in Minnesota, for example.
00:43:07.000 Continue.
00:43:08.000 Sorry, I'm sorry.
00:43:09.000 Half of the seats went moved to either the right or to the left by less than four points.
00:43:15.000 So if we're seeing these big swings, if we're seeing this overrepresentation in swings, Where are we seeing it?
00:43:21.000 In the generic polling, what we're seeing right now for 2026 is we're seeing red states move further to the left than blue states or purple states.
00:43:30.000 That is why you have state legislative districts and congressional districts in Pennsylvania still being competitive.
00:43:35.000 That's why Susan Collins is ahead by three in the new New York Times poll.
00:43:39.000 That's why New Hampshire is within five points and Minnesota in many races are within three points.
00:43:45.000 Red states are seeing a bigger movement to the left than the overall general public.
00:43:49.000 I don't think that it's enough movement to the left.
00:43:52.000 Either A, it's a polling error, which is completely possible, but you get overrepresentation of very left wing Democrats in a lot of these polls in red states.
00:44:00.000 We saw that in Iowa in 2024, where we had a bunch of Rachel Maddow viewers.
00:44:06.000 Saying that they were going to vote for Kamala.
00:44:09.000 Ann Seltzer famously says Kamala is going to win Iowa.
00:44:12.000 And what was the margin coming from?
00:44:14.000 65 year old women plus women who were overwhelmingly white evangelicals.
00:44:18.000 It was a joke.
00:44:19.000 It was always a joke.
00:44:20.000 There could be a significant polling error.
00:44:22.000 And at the same exact time, there is a very strong possibility that one, the marginal seats very well could go for Republicans, but the overwhelming feeling that we're going to see these R plus 10, R plus 12 districts all fall by the wayside.
00:44:37.000 The only way that that could absolutely happen is if Republicans don't vote, which was the case in 2014.
00:44:42.000 Democrats just did not show up in 2014.
00:44:44.000 If Republicans just don't show up, then yes, I would say maybe R plus 10 seats are competitive.
00:44:49.000 The idea that R plus 15 seats are competitive is, in my mind, delusion.
00:44:53.000 Devil's advocate, and we only have about a minute here, so we can go into this in the next segment.
00:44:57.000 But should we consider the idea that the overall national vibe?
00:45:01.000 A lot of people would say polls could be inaccurate because Democrats are incredibly fired up and Republicans are hesitant to answer polls.
00:45:09.000 I feel we saw during the cold open, they're talking how Democrats are actually very angry, they're very motivated, but they're not fired up.
00:45:16.000 They don't love their leaders the same way.
00:45:18.000 It's a much more just anti Trump specifically rage.
00:45:22.000 And maybe that means the polls are not going to be as imbalanced as much, or that Republicans, we don't have the shy Trump voter effect anymore.
00:45:29.000 You actually now have the dispirited Trump voter, the person who says they're really mad about Iran or Epstein.
00:45:36.000 And you're going to get much more cases of if they're voting at all, it's purely the begrudging, I. I'm terrified of the left and what they will do, as opposed to the more enthusiastic stuff you saw in the past.
00:45:47.000 Well, hate's a good motivating factor to go vote.
00:45:49.000 Hate's a good motivating factor in life.
00:45:51.000 No one got herpes from hate.
00:45:52.000 So, I mean, it is a good thing to have hate.
00:45:55.000 But at the same exact time, that is, if you look at the overall polling of what is motivating people to go vote for Republicans, only 2% of Republicans say they're going to go vote to support Trump.
00:46:06.000 It's extremely low.
00:46:08.000 On average, they're voting either A, to stop socialism, that's about a fifth of all the Republican voters, or B, because they like the Republican congressman or the Republican representative.
00:46:16.000 That's really where it is.
00:46:17.000 The economy is definitely hurting Republicans overall, but I think that when push comes to shove, these undecided voters who always vote Republican, if they vote, they're voting for Republicans again.
00:46:28.000 Just got to get them out to the polls, which is why what we're doing at Turning Point Action is so important.
00:46:33.000 TPAction.comslash 100.
00:46:35.000 Go volunteer, chase some ballots.
00:46:38.000 By the way, there's all kinds of.
00:46:39.000 G's just entered the White House on the South Lawn.
00:46:42.000 We're watching that clip play out.
00:46:44.000 We've got protesters in.
00:46:47.000 New York, because Bibi Netanyahu is going to go there.
00:46:50.000 So the Palestinian flag waivers are all in full effect.
00:46:53.000 I think there's some protesters, anti Chinese, anti CCP protesters in DC today as well.
00:46:58.000 So lots going on in the international world, but we're worried mostly, first and foremost, about domestic politics because that's what we care about.
00:47:05.000 We're America first, baby.
00:47:07.000 All right, look at this.
00:47:09.000 This is from Josh Krashauer.
00:47:12.000 He says, for a sense of how bad the political environment is for Republicans, I believe you guys have this image.
00:47:18.000 Maybe you guys didn't load it yet.
00:47:19.000 There it is.
00:47:20.000 For a sense of how bad the political environment is for Republicans, the Kansas Senate race is now rated as only a lean R. Marshall.
00:47:28.000 Democrats haven't won a Senate seat in Kansas since 1932, longest losing streak in the country.
00:47:33.000 So that's after Cook Political Report moved it to a lean arts.
00:47:38.000 Is this part of this effect that you are seeing in the red states that are the red states are swinging more blue?
00:47:44.000 Yeah, Kansas is dead.
00:47:45.000 Well, Marshall has a bunch of issues, but yeah, Kansas is a red state that's been getting more blue, not in every election cycle, but it's trending blue over long term.
00:47:55.000 A lot of college educated people are moving to the eastern side of Kansas.
00:47:59.000 Kansas City is growing out and the suburbs are.
00:48:01.000 Kansas City are becoming bluer for sure.
00:48:04.000 However, I am going to cast a D for doubt on this one because Marshall's last.
00:48:11.000 We saw in the polling, if it was 2022, I believe, or 2018, where the independent running basically as a Democrat was up significantly in that election.
00:48:23.000 Everyone had it as a toss up.
00:48:25.000 Everyone's hair was on fire.
00:48:26.000 And at the end of the day, it wasn't that close of an election.
00:48:28.000 It was 2018.
00:48:30.000 And it wasn't even a very close election.
00:48:32.000 The Republican won pretty handily.
00:48:34.000 And for all the freak out, it wasn't basically all of anything.
00:48:40.000 Marshall's big problem is this he doesn't have a campaign manager.
00:48:42.000 He's using his chief of staff to run his campaign.
00:48:44.000 And the rumor around Kansas is that Marshall doesn't live in Kansas.
00:48:47.000 He lives primarily in Florida and he has a P.O. box.
00:48:50.000 Those are the two big hits against Marshall that he has to try to swing out and beat.
00:48:55.000 But he's there, he's campaigning.
00:48:57.000 They are spending money in Kansas to try to make sure he wins.
00:49:00.000 But it is a tough environment.
00:49:02.000 And he's not running as hard as I think Ashley Hinson may be running.
00:49:06.000 Or another Republican who's really running, or Dan Sullivan's running really hard right now over in Alaska.
00:49:11.000 I don't think he's running that aggressively, and he needs to be.
00:49:16.000 I hope he kicks it into gear because this is crazy stuff, right?
00:49:19.000 If this ends up being true.
00:49:20.000 And it kind of makes sense.
00:49:21.000 There's less Republicans in a blue state, so you see less of a shift just by proportion of the population.
00:49:28.000 Also, Kansas, we have to remember Kansas, because it is a one party state, a lot of people are registered Republicans who, in fact, vote Democrat.
00:49:36.000 So if they're Getting L2 data based on party registration.
00:49:39.000 You see this all throughout the suburbs.
00:49:41.000 They go blue every election.
00:49:42.000 There's still a plurality near majority Republican registration.
00:49:45.000 It's teachers union people because they want to control the primary process.
00:49:48.000 That's why Kansas Republicans in the local government were so moderate for so long.
00:49:52.000 They've only really become conservative in the last two to four years.
00:49:55.000 Interesting.
00:49:56.000 Here was a new interesting poll I saw Hassan Piker favorability ratings.
00:50:01.000 Look at this Maine, unfavorable 22%, favorable 7%.
00:50:06.000 Michigan, unfavorable 34%, favorable 6%.
00:50:10.000 New Hampshire, unfavorable, 24%.
00:50:12.000 Favorable, 4%.
00:50:16.000 You don't buy it?
00:50:17.000 Well, it's not so much that I don't buy it.
00:50:18.000 I worry about it because what you see there is that it shows by far the vast majority of people have no opinion on Hassan Piker.
00:50:24.000 Sure.
00:50:24.000 And so I know we're going to want to, we are trying to label him as this big avatar of Democrats.
00:50:30.000 But if the 60% or so who aren't familiar with him are going to be the people who are swing voters in this race in the first place, I mean, potentially.
00:50:40.000 What do you do you make of you should we be plastering Hassan Piker's mug, right?
00:50:44.000 There it is with his tiny little head up on all of the ads, uh, in these states.
00:50:48.000 Um, I people don't know who he is overwhelmingly because at the end of the day, he's a streamer.
00:50:52.000 I mean, he's not even really a podcast, he's a streamer.
00:50:55.000 He went to, I think, two events, and I think the place that you have the biggest numbers for him is in Michigan where he's being where he actually went to go campaign.
00:51:02.000 He was invited by the Democrat to go campaign.
00:51:05.000 Yeah, I think it's a tough sell, and it's also really disheartening for Republicans that Mandani has such high favorable ratings.
00:51:11.000 Mandani does not have the negative.
00:51:12.000 Opinions that AOC does.
00:51:13.000 And I think that that's really a big problem is that these people they're trying to make as boogeymen are not being received as boogeymen.
00:51:21.000 They don't have the negatives that Nancy Pelosi ever had or that AOC ever had.
00:51:25.000 And that's really where the problem is Republicans are trying to find the boogeyman and haven't been able to nail one down.
00:51:30.000 AOC has much higher unfavorable ratings still than Mondani does, despite being less radical than Mondani is.
00:51:37.000 So let's accept, let's hope you're correct and that the House is not on fire in Kansas in these GOP plus 15.
00:51:46.000 It's still a tough midterm environment.
00:51:48.000 What's your assessment of where people might say we're getting hopium?
00:51:51.000 That the national environment's bad, but we could win Minnesota.
00:51:55.000 The national environment's bad, but we can win Minnesota.
00:51:58.000 Michigan, New Hampshire, unseat incumbents or unseat the incumbent party in states that are overall tilting blue in a bad year.
00:52:05.000 Do you think that's a reasonable expectation?
00:52:08.000 No, I do think it's unreasonable.
00:52:11.000 I think that what we can most hope for is that this big bag of cash pulls Paxton off of the finish line, that we hold on to Susan Collins and to Dan Sullivan, that we retain Iowa, and then the big jump ball is Ohio.
00:52:23.000 And if that happens, Republicans can still have a 51 Senate majority and at the end of the day have a nice day.
00:52:28.000 But I. Mike Rogers is not making the numbers he should be in Michigan.
00:52:33.000 The number of Republicans who have abandoned Trump on issues that he is championing is telling.
00:52:39.000 And I think what's even worse is the fact that the president is talking about things that no other American is talking about.
00:52:48.000 We don't need another body of water to be changed their name to a lake or river of America.
00:52:54.000 It's a waste of conversation.
00:52:56.000 I don't know what he's talking about.
00:52:58.000 Running on Iran and data centers and AI and changing names of lakes and the ballroom is not a winning message.
00:53:04.000 And so, I think the bigger problem is not so much that, you know, we can't win these places because we clearly can.
00:53:10.000 I think the bigger problem is we have a president right now whose eye is completely off the ball, like completely.
00:53:15.000 And I mean, I don't know why it is so far off the ball, but that's the bigger issue right now.
00:53:22.000 And the fact that Trump is not really campaigning for anybody is very telling.
00:53:25.000 I don't know if anyone's even asked him to come to their districts right now and run for them.
00:53:29.000 Well, that might be the actual issue going on, right?
00:53:32.000 JD has been going out.
00:53:34.000 And by the way, I said this when JD came out, Push for peace with Iran.
00:53:37.000 I was like, this is the play.
00:53:39.000 This is center cut.
00:53:40.000 This is very popular.
00:53:41.000 I think his numbers went up immediately after.
00:53:44.000 And I think he's done a really, JD specifically, he's done a really good job of kind of being supportive, being one of the champions of the president, but also putting some daylight between him and some of these more controversial issues.
00:53:56.000 And JD's been the biggest advocate for these Republicans.
00:53:58.000 JD is working his tail off and he's going everywhere.
00:54:01.000 I haven't, and it would be good if we had some messaging from the president, even on job numbers, which have been pretty decent.
00:54:07.000 Like, Tote the thing, talk about things that are working.
00:54:10.000 We're not even getting that.
00:54:11.000 We're talking about like changing lakes.
00:54:13.000 I mean, changing the names of lakes.
00:54:15.000 That is a waste of time.
00:54:17.000 Yeah.
00:54:18.000 Well, hopefully they hear us.
00:54:22.000 We're all doing what we can because actually, you know, I'm a big believer in this it's a messaging issue.
00:54:27.000 It's not a results issue.
00:54:28.000 Yeah, we got Iran.
00:54:29.000 Yeah, there's the Epstein stuff.
00:54:31.000 Some of these things are weighing us down.
00:54:32.000 I get it.
00:54:33.000 But there are generational wins that this president has put up and we need to tout them.
00:54:37.000 Ryan James Gerdesky, thank you so much.
00:54:39.000 Thank you.
00:54:42.000 If you're looking at your investment portfolio and feeling pretty smart right now, remember a bull market can make anyone look like a genius.
00:54:49.000 If you've had a good run, the question is whether you keep it.
00:54:52.000 The people who act early do it from a position of strength, the ones who wait act out of fear.
00:54:58.000 There's nothing worse than turning a great trade into a break even because you didn't act in time.

00:55:25.000 The information is free, but the knowledge is priceless.
00:55:30.000 All right.
00:55:31.000 Joining us now is Orrin McIntyre.
00:55:32.000 He's a columnist and Blaze TV host of The Orrin McIntyre Show.
00:55:36.000 You can find him on X at Orrin McIntyre.
00:55:38.000 Got to spell it right.
00:55:39.000 We'll put his name up on the lower here.
00:55:41.000 Orrin, welcome to the show.
00:55:43.000 Thank you for making some time for us today.
00:55:45.000 So we've got this Democrat representative that is.
00:55:49.000 I just have to get into it because there's a whole, there's this on top.
00:55:53.000 This is the top line, the headline conversation.
00:55:57.000 And it's, you know, what is her name?
00:56:00.000 Delia Ramirez, right?
00:56:01.000 She's introducing legislation to abolish ICE, dismantle DHS, which is an insane thing to do, by the way.
00:56:07.000 Just an insane proposition.
00:56:10.000 But there is a larger conversation, partly with the Beau French and what is an American?
00:56:14.000 And even we're disagreeing on the right.
00:56:17.000 What does it actually mean to be American?
00:56:18.000 I think it's the most important conversation we can have.
00:56:21.000 But I'm going to play, well, actually.
00:56:23.000 Do we have the clip?
00:56:25.000 Sorry, I'm looking for the clip, Oren.
00:56:27.000 Oh, here it is.
00:56:29.000 Yes, it is.
00:56:29.000 So she says this in Spanish, Oren.
00:56:31.000 Sop 15.
00:56:40.000 All right.
00:56:40.000 So, for those of you who don't speak Spanish, which should be most of you, she says, I'm more proud to be Guatemalan than I am to be American.
00:56:47.000 And here she is putting up a bill to abolish ICE and dismantle DHS, Oren McIntyre.
00:56:53.000 I mean, this is why the propositional nation is completely ridiculous.
00:56:56.000 It's very clear that she has never in any way really been an American.
00:57:01.000 She is a paperwork American.
00:57:03.000 Her parents were illegals from Guatemala.
00:57:05.000 She is only American because the Supreme Court has completely destroyed the actual meaning of the 14th Amendment.
00:57:12.000 Birthright citizenship is not a real thing.
00:57:14.000 It's not the intention of the people who drafted the amendment.
00:57:16.000 It was certainly never the intention of the founders.
00:57:18.000 And so we have a scenario where what is functionally a foreign agent who has referred to the people of Guatemala or Hispanic people in general as.
00:57:28.000 Her people in a way that Americans are not.
00:57:30.000 She's speaking her native language.
00:57:32.000 And this is what's really important.
00:57:33.000 The left knows something that the right doesn't.
00:57:36.000 A nation is its people.
00:57:38.000 No matter where this woman is, she is not American.
00:57:41.000 She is Guatemalan.
00:57:42.000 That's who she identifies with.
00:57:43.000 That's who she believes herself to be.
00:57:45.000 That is her true identity.
00:57:47.000 Whatever border she's crossed, whatever piece of paper she happens to hold, that's her true nationality.
00:57:52.000 And no amount of screaming at people who recognize that a large number of immigrants have this mentality.
00:57:58.000 Is going to change any of that.
00:57:59.000 Calling people racist will not make people like this woman more American.
00:58:04.000 At the end of the day, if she's the kind of person who's representing you in an American democracy, well, guess what?
00:58:09.000 You don't have an American democracy.
00:58:11.000 You have an international invasion parading around as if it's representative government.
00:58:16.000 Well, we should play her direct thing.
00:58:18.000 This is what she said just the other day about her bill.
00:58:22.000 Again, it's speaking in a foreign language.
00:58:24.000 14.
00:58:34.000 So, what she's saying is, we are going to abolish the Department of Homeland Security so our people and create a new department so our people will no longer have to live in fear.
00:58:43.000 Our people.
00:58:45.000 Well, I will say, if you are American, your people do not live in fear from DHS because you are American and DHS is only aimed at non Americans.
00:58:55.000 So, when she says, our people will not live in fear of DHS, she is categorically stating, Her people, her nationality is outside of America.
00:59:05.000 Well, and I'll just make the same challenge that I do every time when someone talks about America being a purely creedal nation or a nation of ideas.
00:59:12.000 America is just an idea.
00:59:13.000 Okay, well, what about this woman?
00:59:14.000 Because she holds political power in the United States and nobody's denaturalizing her.
00:59:19.000 No one's stripping her of her seat.
00:59:21.000 No one is otherwise displacing her.
00:59:24.000 Most of the people who talk about the creedal nation or America as an idea would keep her here, even though she in every way, shape, or form opposes what it means to be an American.
00:59:33.000 So if it turns out creed and belief isn't actually what makes you an American, then what does?
00:59:39.000 If we can't answer the question with it's a set of ideas, it's a set of principles, because actually the people who don't hold the ideas and don't hold the principles literally sit in peace.
00:59:47.000 Places of political power inside the United States, well, then we need a new definition.
00:59:52.000 And that means maybe Beau French wasn't so far off when he said, you know, it turns out that America is more than just a, you know, football jersey or a t shirt or a hand sign.
01:00:01.000 Maybe America is something a little deeper, something that this woman does not connect with.
01:00:05.000 You know, this is such, I just genuinely believe this is the most important conversation that we should be having on the right.
01:00:12.000 And the fact that it's taken to now is really just a function that we've had such a great country for so long and things.
01:00:18.000 Generally, it worked.
01:00:19.000 And then we had all this migration, and it's flipping everything upside down, and we're losing a sense of self to the point that people that still can remember what America was when we grew up are now trying to articulate this and define it so that we have a clear understanding of ourselves.
01:00:35.000 You know, it strikes me, Oren, and maybe you just talk to this, and I've got this Jeremy Boring clip that I think is important as well.
01:00:41.000 I want to have you react to it.
01:00:43.000 But it strikes me that Liberia has a very similar constitution to that of the United States, and yet it is nothing in comparison to the United States.
01:00:52.000 And that fundamental juxtaposition, and you said early on, you said a country is its people.
01:00:59.000 That it's not the piece of paper that founded it.
01:01:01.000 Those can be helpful.
01:01:03.000 But ultimately, it is the virtue and the character of the people that inhabit it that make the country the country.
01:01:09.000 You can change the documents, you can change the laws, but the people fundamentally are what make up a country.
01:01:16.000 And that is the key distinction that we have to get to, and we have to find words to articulate that.
01:01:21.000 You know, people tell me all the time we need to ban Sharia law in the United States.
01:01:24.000 And of course, I agree, it doesn't belong here.
01:01:26.000 But that doesn't really solve the problem because, of course, the reason you get Sharia law is you have Muslims.
01:01:31.000 Sharia law is what Muslims do, it's their way of life.
01:01:34.000 It's what emanates from their way of being.
01:01:36.000 It's how they want to be governed.
01:01:37.000 And that's fine.
01:01:38.000 They should be able to do that in the places where they live.
01:01:40.000 They just shouldn't live here.
01:01:42.000 You have to solve the issue of people coming over who believe in something before you can actually get rid of that belief.
01:01:48.000 If you have enough Muslims in America, you're going to get Sharia law no matter what you ban.
01:01:52.000 We don't have English common law in the United States because we objectively evaluated it as the best system, though I think it is the best system.
01:01:59.000 But ultimately, we have the English common law because we're descended from Anglos.
01:02:03.000 We're an Anglo descended nation.
01:02:05.000 This is our history.
01:02:06.000 And so the Constitution, our rule of law, the Declaration of Independence, our court system, all of these things are beliefs that came out of that English tradition.
01:02:15.000 That's why we have them.
01:02:17.000 And so if you get rid of the people who have that heritage, who have that belief, who have that understanding, That way of being, and you replace them with people who do not, you'll get the new way of being, the new belief, the new structure, and not the old one.
01:02:30.000 It's very simple.
01:02:31.000 The people and the ideas are the same thing.
01:02:33.000 Yes, America is built on beautiful, wonderful ideas, ideas that I cherish, but the ideas came from somewhere.
01:02:40.000 They came from some people, and they don't just map onto everyone.
01:02:43.000 We can't put them into Liberia or Afghanistan or Iraq or Iran and expect to get the same result.
01:02:50.000 The ideas do not change the people, the people make the ideas.
01:02:53.000 Yeah, and it's also their level of attachment to it.
01:02:55.000 I think of what you say about it comes from our Anglo heritage.
01:02:58.000 And I've often said, regardless of what your actual ethnic origin is, I feel you're not truly American in some sense until you start to care about English history more than you care about probably a lot, you know, any other country's history, probably including the one you came from.
01:03:14.000 Maybe Mexico's?
01:03:15.000 Yes.
01:03:15.000 Let's throw this up.
01:03:16.000 Let's throw this up.
01:03:17.000 This is someone, people need to know how advanced the decay is here.
01:03:21.000 This is Claire Valdez.
01:03:23.000 She is the Democrat nominee for House in Queens, I believe.
01:03:26.000 So she's going to be the next congressman.
01:03:28.000 That's not a swing district.
01:03:29.000 And she said this.
01:03:30.000 For Mexican Independence Day, about a week ago.
01:03:34.000 215 years ago, Mexicans fought an empire that demanded our land and our labor.
01:03:39.000 And we won.
01:03:42.000 I'll carry that fight.
01:03:43.000 Not they.
01:03:44.000 We.
01:03:45.000 I'll carry that fight with me to Congress as New York's first Mexican American representative.
01:03:49.000 I'm strengthened not just by Mexico's history, but its present.
01:03:53.000 I met some comrades.
01:03:54.000 They're fighting corporations, governments, blah, blah, blah.
01:03:56.000 Viva la independencia.
01:03:58.000 Viva Mexico.
01:03:59.000 This is something I learned from.
01:04:00.000 This is a Mexican blood and soil nationalist running.
01:04:04.000 That's right.
01:04:04.000 For the United States Congress.
01:04:05.000 Well, that's a great point.
01:04:07.000 They can have blood and soil nationalism as Mexicans, but that would be Nazi.
01:04:13.000 That would be white supremacist.
01:04:14.000 That would be all these different smears and pejoratives if you care about your own land the way she cares about Mexico.
01:04:20.000 If you want to see a radical leftist become a blood and soil nationalist, just ask them about the country they really care about.
01:04:26.000 This comes up all the time, a really funny one.
01:04:28.000 So, for example, we've talked about Indian immigrants to the United States, and it's a type you can find as someone who votes for the right wing Hindu nationalist party.
01:04:37.000 In India or supports them, cares about them, follows them, and then they are a radical left Democrat in the United States.
01:04:44.000 Because why wouldn't you be?
01:04:46.000 You want the radical leftist view for the United States that will say, give unlimited money and programs to immigrants into the United States, and for the country you really care about, you say, I want to preserve its history, its identity, its people.
01:05:00.000 Yeah, everybody is a blood and soil nationalist for the country they actually care about.
01:05:04.000 And to be fair, we see this on the right with Israel.
01:05:06.000 For some reason, they have a right.
01:05:07.000 To an identity, to a continuation, to a history that Americans for some reason don't.
01:05:11.000 Now, I think that Israel absolutely has that right, but I also believe America has that right.
01:05:16.000 I think every nation has that right.
01:05:18.000 A nation is a people who is able to defend its right to exist.
01:05:22.000 And as long as Israel or the United States do that, then they also have a right to be completely loyal to their people, their place, and their history.
01:05:32.000 I think this is a right that should extend to everybody.
01:05:34.000 And so when you have somebody who is Mexican, who sees herself as Mexican, who fights for Mexican blood and soil nationalism, we shouldn't be surprised.
01:05:41.000 She just loves the thing she actually cares about and hates us.
01:05:44.000 Yeah, and yet we have to be burdened by this tyranny of foreigners that actually are ruling over us.
01:05:50.000 It's almost like the biblical prophecy is coming true.
01:05:54.000 They're ruling over us, they're mocking us, they're shoving it in our faces, and they're proud about it.
01:05:59.000 And then if we say anything, then we're the racist.
01:06:02.000 Shut up, bigot.
01:06:03.000 That's what we get.
01:06:04.000 And I think we're done with it.
01:06:05.000 I mean, I proudly tweeted that Guatemalan gal should be deported.
01:06:11.000 If she's loyal to that country, get the heck out.
01:06:14.000 Every one of them needs to go.
01:06:15.000 If you care that much about Guatemala, that you identify as Guatemalan first, why are you not living there?
01:06:21.000 Why?
01:06:22.000 I've only got one home.
01:06:23.000 This is my home.
01:06:24.000 I got nowhere else to go, Oren.
01:06:26.000 I feel like you're probably the same way.
01:06:27.000 So, we're talking about this larger question of what is an American.
01:06:31.000 It's something that Charlie wrestled with, too, by the way.
01:06:34.000 I think it's important to remember that he talked about these issues.
01:06:38.000 So, let's go ahead and just play a little bit of Charlie on what is an American as a starting point.
01:06:42.000 Sot 7.
01:06:44.000 We have reduced Americanism down to, well, have you filled out your paperwork?
01:06:48.000 And the left doesn't even believe that.
01:06:50.000 They believe Americans is the presence of being in the United States of America.
01:06:54.000 So, what is an American?
01:06:56.000 The best way I can answer it is someone that has demonstrated through objective measurements and markers that this is home, that you have more than respect or reverence, that you're willing to die, that you are all in, that this is a place that you're willing to bleed for and sacrifice for.
01:07:12.000 This is not a dumping ground for the third world, this is not a social experiment.
01:07:17.000 You got a tear in your eye on July 4th, that you worship God, not Allah.
01:07:25.000 That you have a sense of weight and responsibility, that you care about your fellow neighbor.
01:07:31.000 An American is more than just someone that has a U.S. passport.
01:07:35.000 Amen.
01:07:37.000 There's this clip, Oren, that your friend, our friend John Doyle, was responding to.
01:07:42.000 And listen, Blake was just on Jeremy's podcast.
01:07:44.000 I mean, this is nothing against Jeremy, it really just highlights the fact that this is a debate that we have ongoing, especially on the right, of what to make of this.
01:07:54.000 How do we talk about it?
01:07:55.000 Sot 20.
01:07:57.000 What is an American?
01:07:59.000 And who gets to decide?
01:08:00.000 And what does it mean if the rest of us don't agree?
01:08:03.000 Every one of these questions can be asked in good faith, and every one of them can be asked in bad faith, too.
01:08:09.000 The fight over these questions is tearing up the internet, it's tearing up the right, and it's quietly reshaping the country underneath our feet.
01:08:17.000 Blake had to do some.
01:08:18.000 I had to grab our Commit 100 sign because it fell off, which is a good time as any to say.
01:08:23.000 Sign up to do it.
01:08:23.000 40 days to go.
01:08:24.000 TPAction.com/slash 100.
01:08:27.000 Commit.
01:08:27.000 Go chase some ballots.
01:08:29.000 That's how you stop this.
01:08:30.000 That's the only way you're going to stop what we're talking about.
01:08:31.000 40 days to election.
01:08:32.000 Yes.
01:08:32.000 We're going to be, you know, the hour is running short.
01:08:34.000 The hour is nigh.
01:08:36.000 Orin, just the way that even Jeremy's framing it, how does that strike you?
01:08:42.000 And what would you be tweaking if you were him?
01:08:46.000 Well, he said a lot in that podcast.
01:08:48.000 He went much deeper into kind of his beliefs in what America is or should be.
01:08:53.000 And his came out to what it seemed to be the propositional nation, the idea that America, Is basically a set of ideas that's something that you can assent to, that anyone can join as long as they really believe in the values of the United States.
01:09:06.000 And, you know, kind of the dangerous thing here, and I think the implication from the clip that you showed us is the idea that it would somehow be bad if someone decides who would be an American, who decides, right?
01:09:17.000 But that's kind of a leftist position, right?
01:09:20.000 That there can be no real identity of America because we can't decide on who an American is, that ultimately there is no real America at all.
01:09:29.000 This is the kind of position that is deconstructionist.
01:09:32.000 It dissolves American identity in the same way that asking, What is a woman? creates the same disillusion, right?
01:09:38.000 We all know what a woman is.
01:09:39.000 We all know what a woman is when we see one.
01:09:41.000 But when we start breaking apart the constituent pieces, oh, a woman is somebody who can have children.
01:09:46.000 Oh, well, what about women who are barren?
01:09:48.000 Okay, well, a woman is a person who has a set of ovaries.
01:09:50.000 Oh, well, what if a woman has had a hysterectomy?
01:09:52.000 Okay, what then, right?
01:09:53.000 Like we have all these caveats that are meant to throw up some kind of disinformation as if we can't actually figure this out.
01:10:01.000 But we all know what an American is.
01:10:03.000 We all know what it is when we see one.
01:10:05.000 And the thing about identity is the more specific you get, the more particular you get, the more deconstructive you get.
01:10:10.000 Because it turns out identity isn't just materialism, it's actually something that is very much bound up with the spirit, with something that is far beyond just your genetics or anything like that.
01:10:20.000 But this is also obviously tied to heritage and tradition and everything else.
01:10:25.000 And so we have to understand that America is, at some level, a synthesis.
01:10:28.000 Yes.
01:10:29.000 But that doesn't mean it isn't a real identity.
01:10:31.000 America has been an Anglo descended nation that was able to absorb a European diaspora.
01:10:37.000 That's pretty much how our founding fathers understood it.
01:10:40.000 And that's the way our immigration laws understood it all the way up until the Hart Seller Act, when we got rid of the idea that we would limit most of our immigration to Europe.
01:10:48.000 We all understood that compatibility was critical for this transition.
01:10:51.000 America was already having a hard time assimilating some Europeans, including the Germans.
01:10:56.000 And the fact that now we're pretending we can assimilate just everybody exactly the same way, that's just flying in the face of everything that even our founders believe.
01:11:04.000 Oh, it's so, it is the biggest fool's errand.
01:11:07.000 We are going to be paying for this for generations.
01:11:10.000 It's just so infuriating how, as you say, this somehow works on a huge number of people that if you can't easily draw a bright line on every single subcase, that they'll just say it doesn't exist.
01:11:24.000 Oh, there could be a fuzzy line on what.
01:11:26.000 Precisely, an American is.
01:11:27.000 Therefore, it doesn't exist as a concept.
01:11:29.000 Anyone who moves here is automatically American.
01:11:31.000 And this seems to work on people over and over again.
01:11:35.000 And we're just a nation of immigrants.
01:11:37.000 No, we're not.
01:11:39.000 We're not.
01:11:39.000 That is the stupidest thing that anybody ever says.
01:11:42.000 And listen, I'll get shadowed down as a bigot if I say that.
01:11:45.000 Well, no, we are a nation of settlers, of Anglo settlers predominantly, common law, Christians.
01:11:51.000 Anyways, look at this.
01:11:52.000 This is why this is so important.
01:11:53.000 163.
01:11:54.000 Throw this graph up.
01:11:55.000 You see that big bar on the right?
01:11:58.000 That is raw numbers of immigrants.
01:12:00.000 We have absorbed the largest move of humanity in the history of the planet since Hartzeller in 1964.
01:12:07.000 The largest raw number of immigrants.
01:12:11.000 And most of those are from the third world.
01:12:12.000 And remember, historically, the only way you'd ever see that many people arrive in a new place is if they show up and they conquer it and they kill you and they rape your women.
01:12:22.000 Yeah.
01:12:22.000 It's called, like, look at the Vikings.
01:12:24.000 The Vikings.
01:12:26.000 And by the way, those people understood they had to repel the invasion.
01:12:29.000 We're.
01:12:30.000 We're rubber stamping it.
01:12:32.000 Okay, I want to get to this real quick, Orange, just because he's so good.
01:12:35.000 It's a treat for the audience.
01:12:37.000 This is Fulton Sheen, SOT 19.
01:12:41.000 Our nation is too full of those that are crying down.
01:12:45.000 Down with the police, down with the churches, down with teachers, down with government.
01:12:51.000 Can you build anything down?
01:12:54.000 You cannot.
01:12:56.000 Certainly, time in our nation to change our words.
01:12:59.000 Let's begin now to use the word up.
01:13:02.000 Up from all of this filth, up from this violence, up from this indifference of courts, up, up to the hid battlements of eternity, up, up to God.
01:13:14.000 Oh, amen.
01:13:17.000 Orin, remind me to get a cape.
01:13:19.000 Yeah, I know.
01:13:22.000 I know.
01:13:23.000 Capes were way cooler than we gave him credit for.
01:13:26.000 Just final thoughts here, Orin.
01:13:29.000 We're not Catholic, Blake is, but Fulton Sheen, you know, objectively a great American, and he's getting beatified today, so.
01:13:35.000 That's pretty fun.
01:13:36.000 If you're Catholic, then this should be even more applicable to you because, of course, the classic Aquinas doctrine on immigration and assimilation is three generations that you're not really part of a country until your children and then your grandchildren have intermarried, have adopted the faith, have taken on the language and the folkways.
01:13:55.000 I think we need to have a generational understanding of citizenship in the United States.
01:14:00.000 You don't get to just walk onto our soil and magically become an American.
01:14:03.000 But one day, if you work very hard and you intermarry and you take on all of these different aspects, Than your great grandchildren.
01:14:10.000 They'll be American, and that should be the dream.
01:14:12.000 Google tells me three generations span roughly 75 to 90 years.
01:14:16.000 So when we're talking about immigration moratoriums, maybe we should start there.
01:14:20.000 Orrin McIntyre, thank you so much for making the time, my friend.
01:14:23.000 Good to see you.
01:14:24.000 Thanks for having me.
