00:01:02.000He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:09.000We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:20.000Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at AndrewandTodd.com.
00:01:29.000I know a lot of people are beginning to engage in despair and doom and gloom and negativity, but we're not going to do any of that here.
00:01:36.000We're going to talk about what we can learn from the last week.
00:01:39.000We're going to celebrate what went right, such as Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis and many other victories and hopefully the Attorney General's race here in Arizona.
00:01:48.000And then we're going to talk about what is happening in real time with the successes that we've had that can meaningfully make this country a better place to live.
00:02:18.000You know, listen, I think as we all go through our stages of grief with what happened, you know, we're kind of emerging from the fog of war, so as it were, and we're seeing a silver lining here.
00:02:30.000I think we're going to have a really good chance of having a very conservative house majority.
00:02:35.000I think Kevin McCarthy is, you know, we're going to have Marjorie Taylor Greene on in just a few minutes, and she's going to tell us why she was backing Kevin McCarthy.
00:02:42.000I think that's going to be interesting, especially after your conversation with Matt Gates a few days ago.
00:02:46.000And listen, Abe Homeday, we got to cure our ballots in Arizona, but there's just lots going on, and it's becoming clear, Charlie, about ballot harvesting.
00:02:56.000So I'm excited to have Jennifer Van Laar and Sean Davis.
00:03:00.000And Pastor Rob McCoy, who actually did it in California successfully and flipped the county supervisor seat.
00:03:05.000Now, there is something I want to say, and I know that people do not want to hear this in our audience because they email me.
00:03:11.000They say, Charlie, stop talking about things that went wrong.
00:03:15.000Okay, but this is interesting, though.
00:03:17.000If you listen to what happened in Colorado, because I made a lot of calls last night, right?
00:03:21.000I made calls to people on the ground in Pennsylvania and Colorado and Georgia and in most states except Texas and Florida.
00:03:30.000And they have all said as they're doing their data analysis, they saw a same and similar collapse of independence across the board, across the country.
00:03:40.000Now, people might say, well, Charlie, it's because they had this rigged system.
00:03:43.000Well, if that's the case, then how did Ron DeSantis win by 20 points, right?
00:03:47.000How did Brian Kemp win by six or seven points?
00:03:50.000Now, ballot harvesting and ballot capturing and machines going down in Arizona, we are one of the only shows that is going to repeatedly talk about it.
00:03:59.000But there is growing evidence that there was something done by the Democrats that we can learn from that is constructive and important about how on earth did we do so well with independence in the polling and in certain early returns and in-person election day, but there was a faction, a type of independence that totally gravitated their support away from us.
00:04:22.000And Andrew, there could be some explanations, but the most logical one would probably be something around Dobbs, something around a targeted ad campaign.
00:04:32.000Or is it, Andrew, that Republicans didn't sprint the last half mile of the marathon?
00:04:38.000Do you think that we just kind of, were candidates just kind of let up, that there wasn't a targeted campaign to go after independence?
00:04:47.000Andrew, what are your thoughts on that?
00:04:49.000I mean, listen, I think Dobbs completely, it's a point that I made on the show this week.
00:04:55.000I think, you know, living in California, you know, my wife's friends, like we would have these conversations and it kind of, I kind of didn't key in on it enough, honestly.
00:05:06.000But they did a great job on platforms like TikTok, social media.
00:05:12.000You know, my wife told me hers was full of it before the election of just people saying, hey, they want to criminalize miscarriages.
00:05:19.000We all know that that's so ridiculous not to be true.
00:05:21.000I mean, half of pregnancies basically end in miscarriage.
00:05:27.000I think it worked a lot with independents.
00:05:29.000I think it worked a lot with single women.
00:05:31.000We saw them go way far to the left this cycle.
00:05:35.000And we've got to do a better job of rebutting those sort of pieces of misinformation that don't end up having a big, a big effect.
00:05:42.000And listen, I think it's a straw man, but it's possible that a lot of independents were convinced that fascism and democracy really was on the ballot.
00:05:55.000And I hate to admit it because I love the push and pull of a more aggressive posture, but it's true.
00:06:03.000Yeah, something happened across the country.
00:06:05.000And the only states it didn't really happen in is Florida, to be honest, where independents, we thought independents were going to break our way.
00:06:12.000And Andrew, do you remember that show that we did right before the midterms of how we could lose?
00:06:16.000And we got so much hate mail, where one of the ways I said is if independents somehow don't break our way.
00:06:24.000I didn't think with gas prices, with immigration, with Biden being so unpopular.
00:06:30.000Now, what ended up happening, though, seemed to be a kind of devil's bargain that independents did in their head, at least in Arizona, where they went into the voting booth very convincingly by six to eight points saying that we are going to vote for some Republicans, but we're not going to vote for all Republicans.
00:06:55.000And so here's the one thing that no one has been able to explain to me, which is if it was, you know, if they were really in Scottsdale, for example, or in Mesa, if all of it was synthetic, then why on earth was David Schweikert and Andy Biggs, why were they outperforming Cary Lake, which none of us would have thought, Andrew?
00:07:17.000We thought that Arizona would want a Republican governor a lot more than a Republican Congress.
00:07:23.000It is clear that at least in Arizona and in other states, Georgia as well, that voters were saying that we want some Democrats to run our states, which is just amazing.
00:07:35.000You think about it, but it really might not have been that.
00:07:38.000It was we want the person that is not going to be controversial.
00:07:42.000And by the way, it didn't take a lot to tip it over the edge.
00:08:15.000The Democrats have not brainwashed it.
00:08:17.000And, Charlie, you know, one of the first red flags for the Kerry Lake campaign should have been the primary when Karen Taylor Robeson, you know, got as close as she did.
00:08:28.000I mean, there was no grassroots energy behind it.
00:08:30.000There was no, there was no mass movement behind Karen Taylor Robeson.
00:08:34.000I think in Arizona, there is a unique aftermath that you have to take into account after the audit, after the flake McCain era.
00:08:43.000I mean, it was a unique situation in Arizona where the establishment Republicans, yeah, they lost the battle for control of the party in Arizona, but there's indications that 7% to 9% of Republicans, of registered Republicans, did not vote for Kerry Lake.
00:09:01.000And you got to remember, Kerry Lake was going, you know, she was having an open social media, you know, confrontation with Megan McCain, with Liz Cheney.
00:09:12.000Maybe there's seven to nine percent of moderate Republicans that didn't break her way in the end, and they were willing to vote for Treasurer.
00:09:19.000They were willing to vote for Schweikert.
00:09:22.000And maybe they were willing to vote for Abe Homeday as well.
00:09:25.000So I think, you know, that should have been a red flag that that race was even as close as it was in the primary.
00:09:30.000And maybe it played itself out in the general.
00:09:33.000It's a real possibility that that same trend affected independents.
00:09:37.000Yeah, look, so someone says here, Charlie, stop with this nonsense.
00:09:42.000It's very clear that they stole it and that people voted straight ticket.
00:09:46.000Look, I could tell you that's just not true.
00:09:47.000That's not the way that elections work.
00:09:52.000Now, I fully acknowledge that the machines, we were the only ones on the machines.
00:09:56.000But guys, I got to tell you that if we are not willing to say that there's anything we could do differently in the future, then we're just going to be back in this situation again.
00:10:06.000And we are, by the way, we're about to talk about the legal challenges.
00:10:10.000I think there needs to be a new Maricopa County election.
00:10:13.000I think with the machines being down, I think there was legitimate voter suppression.
00:10:18.000I think that the top of the Democrat ticket definitely illegally ballot harvested, but we're talking about things right on the edges.
00:10:27.000And if our message is we did everything perfectly all the time, I don't think that's a way that you improve anything in life.
00:10:33.000That's not how you improve a business.

00:11:38.000That's relieffactor.com or call 8004Relief.
00:11:41.000Live your best life and feel the difference with Relief Factor.
00:11:47.000So someone said, Charlie, you have flipped on us.
00:11:49.000You're making excuses for these animals.
00:11:52.000You might as well say Joe Biden won the 2020 election.
00:12:03.000Why is it we didn't win as many house seats that we were supposed to win?
00:12:07.000And by the way, we're about to have an entire program about how we need to have a new election in Arizona, about how the machines broke down.
00:12:14.000And if it's that no one wants to hear about any of it that could have gone wrong as far as our own messaging, look, I'll be very honest.
00:12:22.000There is a candidate that I'm not going to name where there was a massive donation that was going to be given to their campaign.
00:12:29.000And they said to the donor, I don't need the money.
00:13:37.000I'm the one that's actually encouraging Carrie Lake to file a lawsuit, of which she has not filed yet, asking for a new election in Arizona.
00:13:46.000I understand everyone's mad, and you guys can email me anytime, anything, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:13:51.000I just might respectfully respond to it on air.
00:13:56.000And so someone says here, Charlie, why would the governor's race have 56,000, 47,000 more votes than the Secretary of State's race?
00:14:02.000Well, first of all, there was some misinformation about that, about the Secretary of State's race having more than the governor's race.
00:14:22.000Someone says, Charlie, I'm turning you off for good.
00:14:24.000Well, if you're turning me off for good because I'm saying that we could have done a little better with independence, can anyone explain to me then why is it David Schweikert did three to five points better than Carrie Lake?
00:15:13.000You know, like, I'm just, you know, Molinaro, I mean, it's a little bit different system in New York, but Molinaro won in a really tight race in New York 19.
00:15:22.000And by the way, they, guess what they did?
00:15:24.000They were not leaving anything on the table.
00:15:26.000They did robust by mail push and they followed up like crazy with those voters.
00:15:33.000To me, I look at that and I say that's hopeful.
00:15:35.000And Charlie, I know you're reading some of the negative emails, but I'm doing it because I want people to know that there is, it's welcome.
00:16:51.000They cheated, they cheated, they cheated, they cheated.
00:16:54.000Okay, if that's the answer to everything, well, then I don't know.
00:16:58.000I think that there's some things we could also learn on messaging and tabulation and whether or not we could prevent the cheating next time.
00:17:05.000If you believe that you've always done everything perfectly, I don't know if that's actually a path to victory.
00:17:14.000Look, you've helped build the wonderful My Pillow into the incredible company it is today.
00:17:19.000And I got to tell you, the things that they have, like the six-piece towel set, the two bath towels, the two hand towels, the two washclaws, game changer.
00:17:28.000The bed sheets, boom, knocked down to $29.98.
00:17:33.000But look, orders placed now through Christmas.
00:17:35.000We'll have an extended money-back guarantee through March 1st.

00:17:50.000Call 800-875-0425 and use promo code Kirk.
00:18:40.000I'm really grateful to all of everyone in my district that has supported me to send me back to Congress to represent them.
00:18:48.000This is unprecedented what we're going into, this razor thin majority.
00:18:54.000And thank God we're going to have the majority because here for the past week, we haven't even been sure if that was going to happen.
00:19:01.000We still don't know the number of seats we're going to have.
00:19:03.000It's estimated anywhere between 218 to someone even said as high as 226.
00:19:09.000I have a really hard time seeing that.
00:19:10.000So everyone just keeps telling me 220 to 222-ish.
00:19:15.000But so that means that we have no, basically no margin of error.
00:19:20.000And that means that our conference has to be as united as possible.
00:19:25.000And we're also have, we also have to look forward.
00:19:27.000We're going into a presidential election in 2024.
00:19:32.000And so what we're able to do here in our conference over the next two years really plays into our chances of winning back the White House and even taking back the Senate.
00:20:01.000I make decisions based on the reality that I'm in and that I'm given.
00:20:07.000And I believe that we have to elect one speaker.
00:20:10.000We have to unify because here's what's happening behind the scenes in the halls of Congress and in many different meetings.
00:20:17.000We have different factions of our Republican conference that are looking to use their power, the power of a few, to challenge the leadership or challenge Kevin McCarthy in order to get what they want.
00:20:32.000Now, the problem with that is they're also talking to Democrats, and that is extremely concerning to me.
00:20:39.000I think after the past two years, what Democrats have done to this country and how they have treated President Trump, his administration, his supporters, and Republicans all over the country.
00:20:49.000And I'm talking about parents at the school boards.
00:20:52.000I'm talking about pro-life activists being, you know, having the FBI show up at their house.
00:20:57.000I'm talking about the pre-trial January 6th defendants who have yet to see a day in court and have been held this entire time.
00:21:05.000And just the threat, the threat to those, to conservatives, especially under the potential 87,000 IRS Army.
00:21:14.000I think it is imperative and it's our duty as Republicans to pull ourselves together and prove to the American people that we're the party that can be trusted in the majority and that we can argue all we want to.
00:21:29.000And believe me, I'm one of those that gets the most heated in these debates fighting for conservative values.
00:21:34.000We are going to have to fight it out, but we're going to have to unite behind one speaker because we can't open the door to Democrats.
00:21:42.000We cannot allow them to make deals, wheel and deal with weak Republicans in order to elect a speaker that they could all choose to deal with.
00:21:52.000Now, here is the bargaining chip on the table.
00:22:48.000I'm talking about Hunter Biden's laptop and the things that exist on that laptop that have direct connections to Joe Biden and their corrupt business dealings in foreign countries.
00:22:58.000And so the way I see it is that it's an imperative duty of all of us to elect our speaker.
00:23:04.000We have to elect Kevin McCarthy because he's already said publicly and promised all of us that he would support these investigations.
00:23:15.000And our audience, feel free to email us freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:23:18.000Some people are surprised, Congresswoman Green, and I'm not saying this negatively, that you would support Speaker McCarthy.
00:23:27.000Now, to understand your argument, it's because of the circumstances, and it's also because of potentially us losing the House of Representatives if we are not able to unite behind a leader.
00:23:39.000Now, some people in our audience are not happy about this sort of idea.
00:23:43.000Matt Gates, who I know you respect and is a good friend of mine as well, came on the program and disagrees with this and is dead set against McCarthy.
00:23:52.000Why do you believe, just to reinforce the argument, given the circumstances that it's best to consolidate behind McCarthy, number one?
00:24:01.000And number two, if that happens, what assurances can you give our audience or the conservative base that meaningful things will actually get done?
00:24:11.000Yeah, I fully understand those questions.
00:24:13.000And listen, this is a huge risk for me to come out and say this.
00:24:18.000But here's my promise to everyone that's listening.
00:24:42.000I didn't come to Washington to make friends.
00:24:45.000And so that's not how I make these decisions.
00:24:47.000I'm making these decisions because I care very much about this country and I am very realistic about the situation we all find ourselves in.
00:24:58.000Here's the fact, Charlie, you've been on the ground in Arizona.
00:25:11.000And so for conservatives that can hear me right now, if you want to be very honest with yourself, we don't have a chance at 2024 unless we fight on every single level.
00:25:24.000That means that people have got to keep fighting to fix your elections in your states.
00:25:29.000And you know the states I'm talking about.
00:25:31.000And I'm heartbroken for my dear friend, Carrie Lake, and I'm heartbroken for Arizona.
00:26:02.000These mail-in ballots are a bunch of crap and they need to end.
00:26:05.000And then for conservatives in this country, if we care about our values and we care about winning in 2024, because let me tell you, that has to be done.
00:26:42.000Number one, you're totally right on Arizona.
00:26:44.000I believe Kerry Lake, beyond a shadow of a doubt, would be governor with transition teams if it wasn't for those machines that fell down, if it wasn't for all the tabulator issues, for the long lines.
00:26:56.000Same with Abe Hamiday and all that nonsense, not to mention the illegal ballot harvesting and all that.
00:27:00.000We've been talking about the larceny, the thievery, all of that nonsense.
00:27:04.000We've been repeatedly talking about that.
00:27:06.000But Congresswoman, I do want you to alleviate some of the concerns of the audience about Kevin McCarthy being a conservative, because some people say, well, Kevin McCarthy is like Paul Ryan and John Boehner.
00:27:19.000I actually don't think that's the case, but you know a lot better than I do.
00:27:26.000My biggest concern, just for the audience, is that we're going to mess this up and the Democrats will take over the House because we can't choose a speaker.
00:27:35.000So can you just talk a little bit about fulfillment of promises?
00:27:39.000Like, for example, are we going to see subpoenas for Fauci?
00:27:42.000Are we going to see subpoenas for Garland?
00:27:44.000Are we going to see an investigation into mail and ballot nonsense?
00:29:58.000I'm sick and tired of the never-ending foreign wars.
00:30:01.000I've voted no to every single penny on Ukraine from the beginning, day one.
00:30:06.000I think we need, I just walked out on the House floor before I called you and I gave a speech calling for an audit into the money that has been sent to Ukraine and the aid money.
00:30:15.000We need transparency there because we know exactly what's happening with some of that money and it's supporting Democrat campaigns like we have learned.
00:30:24.000But these are the things that I can commit to you is I'm not standing behind any one person.
00:30:30.000I'm standing behind the American people.
00:30:32.000And I am willing to do that in every single way, even when they're going, why is she doing that?
00:32:22.000Because I think one of the reasons why people are so upset and are so skeptical is because of promises that haven't been fulfilled.
00:32:31.000What does it look like then, Congresswoman Green, if Speaker McCarthy, if Kevin McCarthy becomes Speaker, what does that look like from a subpoena and investigation standpoint?
00:32:40.000What assurances can you give our audience?
00:32:43.000I can give everybody 100% assurance if Kevin McCarthy becomes Speaker because he will have the gavel that our committees will lead into investigations.
00:32:54.000And those subpoenas will be used against the Biden administration.
00:32:58.000It will be used against all of the corruption that everyone has been upset about over the past two years.
00:33:05.000And I haven't been told no on one single thing.
00:33:09.000And I think that's what people need to focus on.
00:33:11.000What terrifies me is I just heard my colleague, Bob Good, who is leading this effort, one of the leaders of this effort, say that he would vote with the Democrats.
00:33:25.000It shocks me just the same as I heard Don Bacon tell a reporter outside the House chamber the other night that he would also talk to the Democrats about electing a speaker.
00:33:35.000These are things people are saying out loud on interviews.
00:33:39.000Imagine what they're saying behind closed doors.
00:33:42.000And, you know, I'm very realistic, Charlie, about the situation that we are in.
00:33:48.000And a razor-thin majority means that we have to get our act together.
00:33:52.000It means that the Republican Conference has a responsibility to not fall apart fighting with one another to where we come to gridlock and can't accomplish anything.
00:34:03.000We have to act like adults and professionals, and we have to work together, present an agenda that serves America first.
00:34:10.000And I'll be fighting as hard as possible to make that as conservative as we possibly can.
00:34:15.000But we are stuck in this position because of our horrible election systems and the fact that redistricting happened after the census was done pre-COVID.
00:34:28.000And we won the popular vote, but yet we couldn't deliver more House seats and we couldn't deliver more wins and governorships and Senate seats, which is devastating.
00:34:38.000And one thing that also people need to understand this is Nancy Pelosi had 32 no votes in her conference and she didn't even have a challenger.
00:35:18.000They didn't repeal $500 million given to Planned Parenthood.
00:35:22.000To me, these are Republican failures that we cannot allow to happen anymore.
00:35:27.000But the worst thing we could ever do is fight so much among ourselves and create so much drama.
00:35:33.000And the American people are sick and tired of the drama that we totally turn people off from the Republican Party when we desperately need our voters going into 2024.
00:35:45.000I'm going to play on the playing field that I am standing on, and I'm going to have to play within the guidelines that I'm forced to exist in.
00:35:53.000But that means I'm going to play as hard as possible.
