00:01:00.000 We have the answers.
00:01:01.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:01:02.000 Here we go.
00:01:04.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:01:06.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:01:08.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:01:11.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:14.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:15.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:16.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:25.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:34.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:36.000 The first night of the Democrat National Convention has concluded.
00:01:41.000 So the Democrat Convention has decided to go all virtual.
00:01:44.000 And look, I love political conventions.
00:01:47.000 I've been watching them since I was very young when I was eight or nine years old.
00:01:51.000 As long as I can remember, I've actually been watching political conventions.
00:01:55.000 And I have to say, to be perfectly honest with you, it's not the same.
00:01:59.000 Without a crowd, without instant reaction, it just felt like nothing more than a best clip collection of political advertisements.
00:02:07.000 And by the way, we are doing this right now at 12.30 Eastern.
00:02:13.000 And by the time we are done editing and done with this episode, it will be probably 3.30 a.m. Eastern.
00:02:18.000 We had the first most instant analysis because that's how much we care about you guys because we see how much you guys support us at charliekirk.com slash support.
00:02:26.000 And that's why we give you two episodes a day.
00:02:28.000 So this is instant analysis.
00:02:29.000 This is fresh.
00:02:30.000 I just watched all the clips again.
00:02:32.000 I actually watched the entire Democrat convention uninterrupted.
00:02:36.000 I went back and I looked at all the clips, got all our analysis together, and we are here right now to give you exactly what happened.
00:02:43.000 And actually, there's some really interesting teaching moments here.
00:02:47.000 There's a lot of takeaways.
00:02:48.000 I mean, there was a lot of rubbish.
00:02:50.000 We're going to go through all of that.
00:02:51.000 There was a lot of nonsense.
00:02:53.000 But there was also a lot of learning lessons.
00:02:57.000 A lot of things that those of us that support the president, I think there's some positives.
00:03:02.000 There's some real takeaways here that is just beyond just all of the pre-rehearsed radicalism that was within the first night of the Democrat Party.
00:03:11.000 So let's just start with just the visuals.
00:03:13.000 For those of you that didn't get a chance to watch the convention, it was very incongruent.
00:03:19.000 That's the best word I can possibly use.
00:03:21.000 You had Eva Longoria as kind of like the MC for the evening out of Los Angeles, who was on some sort of a stage set, who was broadcasting live to the nation.
00:03:31.000 And she was kind of MCing the whole evening.
00:03:33.000 It started off with a very interesting rendition of the Star Spangled Banner of different people singing it from across the nation.
00:03:41.000 And one thing the Democrats really like to do is they like to use symbology, history of America, and our phrases to try to achieve their radicalism.
00:03:52.000 This is something that Saul Alinsky, author of the book Rules for Radicals, talked about at length.
00:03:58.000 Use the symbology to try to communicate to the population that you're trying to take over.
00:04:04.000 Use the phrases.
00:04:05.000 Don't try to be an insurgent like BLM Incorporated.
00:04:09.000 We'll get to that in a minute.
00:04:11.000 But instead, try to win over the population with things that they are familiar with.
00:04:17.000 Several speakers did this throughout the evening.
00:04:19.000 Senator A.B. Klobuchar in particular did this when she was talking about multiple times e pluribus unum, the Latin phrase, out of many one.
00:04:27.000 The Democrats don't believe in e pluribus unum.
00:04:30.000 Everything is about racial politics and pitting people against each other and trying to judge people based on skin color.
00:04:38.000 But just from a production standpoint, it is remarkably clear that ever since Harvey Weinstein went to jail, the Democrats have very little capacity to be able to tap into Hollywood's best producers.
00:04:52.000 I'm half kidding, by the way.
00:04:54.000 Whoever was in charge of the production value of this convention needs to be fired.
00:05:01.000 It looked very disorganized.
00:05:04.000 It looked very cluttered.
00:05:07.000 Michelle Obama's speech was given sitting down.
00:05:10.000 Bernie Sanders' speech looked like something out of a hostage video, as if he was forced to give these remarks, as if he was almost compelled to endorse Joe Biden.
00:05:21.000 It didn't have a common theme either.
00:05:24.000 And one of the biggest takeaways I'm going to get to in just a second, one of these takeaways, I think those of us that want to see the president re-elected, we have to listen very closely to what the Democrats are saying and where they spent their time.
00:05:36.000 But first, let's talk about home security.
00:05:38.000 Do you know that in California, they just let out 18,000 prisoners and criminals, some of which are rapists, thugs, and vigilantes?
00:05:46.000 Do you have home security?
00:05:48.000 If not, your loved ones could be the next victims of the thugs that are left out of prison.
00:05:54.000 That's why I put my name behind SimplySafe.
00:05:57.000 SimplySafe's got everything you need to protect your home with none of the drawbacks of traditional home security.
00:06:03.000 It's got an arsenal of sensors and cameras to blanket every single room, window, and door tailored specifically for your home.
00:06:11.000 It has professional monitoring that keeps watch day and night, ready to send police, fire, or medical professionals if there's an emergency.
00:06:18.000 You can set it up yourself in under an hour.
00:06:20.000 Just peel and stick the sensors exactly where you need them.
00:06:23.000 No technician required.
00:06:24.000 And there's no contract, no pushy sales guy, and no hidden fees, no fine print, and it all starts for $15 a month.
00:06:31.000 Look, I'm not the only ones who think that SimplySafe is great.
00:06:34.000 U.S. News and World Report named it the best overall home security of 2020.
00:06:39.000 Try SimplySafe today at simplysafe.com/slash Charlie.
00:06:42.000 You get free shipping and a 90-day risk-free trial.
00:06:44.000 There's nothing to lose at simplysafe.com/slash Charlie.
00:06:50.000 One of the biggest takeaways was where the Democrats were spending their time.
00:06:54.000 So I kind of put the entire Democrat programming focus on two R's.
00:06:58.000 First of all, they were very focused on racial issues, basically telling everyone how racist they were, and then also very focused on Republicans.
00:07:07.000 A huge portion of their program was focused on trying to get Republican voters to vote for Joe Biden.
00:07:16.000 They even had John Kasich, who stumbled into a meadow somewhere in Ohio and said America was at a crossroads, and he endorsed Joe Biden in the video.
00:07:27.000 It was nearly unwatchable and very, very difficult to hear a former Republican in such a cringeworthy fashion go after the pro-abortion, pro-gun-grabbing, radical Marxist ticket of Joe Biden and Senator Harris.
00:07:44.000 However, there were other parts where former Republican representatives and former governors were also Skyping and zooming into the Democrat convention.
00:07:53.000 This is very interesting.
00:07:56.000 For those of us that study political strategy and political analysis, like myself, that dives deep into polling and dives deep into data, this is very clear to me that Democrats have a problem.
00:08:10.000 Democrats are trying to solve both of their structural problems heading in in November simultaneously.
00:08:16.000 However, whoever's doing their political strategy didn't actually realize that both of their focuses can actually be self-defeating.
00:08:29.000 It's actually one can harm the other.
00:08:31.000 A lot of their messaging, such as Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, where she said we need to rewrite our laws and reimagine our society, which we'll play that tape in just one second, was completely contradictory to John Kasich saying that Joe Biden won't actually be a radical.
00:08:49.000 He'll be a moderate.
00:08:50.000 Let's first play Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser.
00:08:54.000 Play tape.
00:08:55.000 We have to undo the laws and systems that have codified racism for far too long, but we have to do something too.
00:09:03.000 Each and every one of us challenge our own biases.
00:09:06.000 If we see something, do something.
00:09:09.000 Together, we can turn this reckoning into a reimagining of a nation where we the people means all the people.
00:09:17.000 And then John Kasich went out of his way to say, Joe Biden won't be a radical.
00:09:22.000 He'll be reasonable.
00:09:23.000 Play tape.
00:09:24.000 I'm sure there are Republicans and independents who couldn't imagine crossing over to support a Democrat.
00:09:30.000 They fear Joe may turn sharp left and leave them behind.
00:09:34.000 I don't believe that because I know the measure of the man.
00:09:38.000 It's reasonable, faithful, respectful.
00:09:41.000 And you know, no one pushes Joe around.
00:09:44.000 Joe Biden is a man for our times.
00:09:47.000 Times that call for all of us to take off our partisan hats and put our nation first for ourselves and, of course, for our children.
00:09:56.000 So, which one is it?
00:09:57.000 Is it we're going to rewrite our laws and reimagine our society?
00:10:01.000 Or is it that Joe Biden won't actually be a radical?
00:10:04.000 So, by trying to pander to the racist roots of the Democrat Party that is playing so far into black identity politics, that is trying to make white people feel guilty and ashamed for their immutable characteristics, while simultaneously trying to win Midwestern voters with people like John Kasich, who is a failed governor of Ohio, and someone who quite honestly has no principles at all whatsoever and is not an American patriot who got offended by Donald Trump's tweets at him during a political campaign,
00:10:34.000 has harbored that resentment and has decided to manifest that into revenge, so deeply political, by the way, that he will endorse Joe Biden, a Democrat pro-abortion advocate who has paired himself with the most liberal United States senator.
00:10:49.000 That's how little John Kasich cares about the future of our republic.
00:10:54.000 And so the Democrat strategy clearly shows that they have an enthusiasm problem in the black community.
00:11:02.000 And we saw that when George Floyd's family members Skyped in or zoomed in towards the beginning of the Democrat convention, trying to convey to the American population that we must continue the racial politics that stemmed out of the unfortunate death of their brother and their family member, paired with the Republican defection strategy.
00:11:27.000 So this all is good news for President Trump.
00:11:31.000 If the Democrats were doing one but not the other, then that would be a more alarming sign.
00:11:38.000 Instead, the Democrats have both a base problem and they have a swing voter problem.
00:11:45.000 That's right.
00:11:47.000 The Democrats have been reanalyzing data from 2012.
00:11:52.000 And do you know what the Democrats have been realizing when they've been reanalyzing the data of how President Obama won in 2012?
00:11:59.000 President Obama won in 2012 because he was able to get self-described Republicans to vote for him again because he portrayed himself as a common sense moderate in 2012.
00:12:12.000 And in 2008, he was a shock election candidate where the country was just ready for change because of the failed presidency in the last couple years of President Bush and just the war weariness and the recession did not help.
00:12:23.000 And John McCain was a terrible candidate.
00:12:26.000 But the Biden campaign is not dumb.
00:12:29.000 They're not.
00:12:30.000 Whoever designed this convention should be fired.
00:12:32.000 But the Biden campaign probably gave the marching orders to the Democrat National Convention and they were poorly executed.
00:12:38.000 But the marching orders are not incorrect.
00:12:41.000 The marching orders were very clear that in order to win the Midwest, in order to win states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, which are critical to Joe Biden winning the White House, they need to win self-described Republicans.
00:12:55.000 And even more so, they need to win new Republicans.
00:12:59.000 They need to win new Republicans that voted for Donald Trump in 2016 that used to be Democrats, that they're trying to bring them back to the party.
00:13:08.000 Simultaneously, they looked at the data from 2012 and they saw that minority numbers in 2012 were far that in 2016.
00:13:17.000 And so what the Democrats are failing to recognize is that the more that they pander to Black Lives Matter Incorporated, BLM Inc., which is the better way to say it, we say BLM Inc. here on this program.
00:13:28.000 And for those of you that have not been tuning in for the last couple months, as we have had the most cutting analysis on these issues, it's BLM Incorporated.
00:13:35.000 I encourage all of you that are new listeners, please go back in the archives.
00:13:38.000 We have some of the most in-depth analysis and episodes in early June in particular where we did multi-hour episodes on BLM Incorporated and their true agenda to destroy America.
00:13:50.000 But if I was a moderate Republican watching this program tonight, or if I was a moderate that might not love Donald Trump, but I'm not yet sold on the Democrats, but my values are center-right, I would say, wait a second.
00:14:02.000 I got John Kasich trying to tell me to come over to the party and say that Joe Biden is fine.
00:14:07.000 The water's fine, everybody.
00:14:08.000 Jump right in.
00:14:09.000 Everything's great.
00:14:10.000 He's not going to take your guns away.
00:14:12.000 He's not going to shut down your church.
00:14:15.000 Everything's great.
00:14:16.000 While just a couple minutes before that, we were hearing from the Washington, D.C. mayor saying that we need to rewrite our laws and reimagine our society.
00:14:25.000 They are trying to unite two inherently incongruent ideas: leftism and liberalism.
00:14:33.000 This is why their message felt so scattered.
00:14:37.000 There is no through line.
00:14:39.000 And the Republicans are actually going to be very united in their message next week.
00:14:42.000 See, the Republicans, this is one thing that the president has working to his advantage.
00:14:47.000 He has a very clear path to victory.
00:14:49.000 He needs decent, reasonable suburban voters to come home, and he needs enough minority voters to decide they love America and Donald Trump wins in a landslide.
00:14:58.000 The Democrats have a much harder sell because of the inherent radicalism and also because of campus voting no longer happening because of a lot of the campus closures in the Battleground states.
00:15:09.000 The Democrats are in crisis.
00:15:11.000 They have to boost their numbers in the inner cities and overly racially pander, which I actually think doesn't work.
00:15:17.000 I think most minority voters that are leading the Democrat Party are tired of being treated by nothing more than the color of their skin.
00:15:23.000 And they also need to try to get centrist voters to go pull the Democrat ticket.
00:15:28.000 This scattered message is going to be very difficult to sell to Midwestern voters.
00:15:35.000 And meanwhile, Bernie Sanders, the Bolshevik communist, who we'll get to later in this program, he said that his message won.
00:15:42.000 It's like he keeps reminding America out of stubbornness or pride that I'm not on the ticket, but it's actually my ticket.
00:15:49.000 And so this was also paired very strangely with a hyper-fixation on the virus.
00:15:57.000 So you had racial identity politics.
00:15:59.000 You had the Republicans, please come vote for us.
00:16:02.000 And then you also had the virus messaging.
00:16:05.000 So the virus messaging actually was probably, if there was anything that was the theme of the night, it's basically America's going through something we've never gone before.
00:16:14.000 Let's not hold the Chinese accountable for it.
00:16:16.000 Instead, let's punish the president who we don't like for happening to be president during something that President Obama didn't properly prepare us for.
00:16:25.000 Andrew Cuomo blamed Donald Trump for the Chinese coronavirus deaths.
00:16:30.000 In fact, he called it the European virus.
00:16:33.000 That's right.
00:16:34.000 He called it the European virus.
00:16:37.000 And he also blamed Trump for being too fixated on China.
00:16:41.000 Play tape.
00:16:42.000 The European virus infected the Northeast while the White House was still fixated on China.
00:16:48.000 The virus had been attacking us for months before they even knew it was here.
00:16:53.000 Nothing like a New York liberal telling Midwestern voters, you're too focused on China.
00:16:59.000 Oh, yeah, you mean the same China that shipped the factory overseas and also killed many old people in the state?
00:17:06.000 You mean that China?
00:17:08.000 And what about all the old folks' homes, Andrew Cuomo?
00:17:12.000 That 42% of all deaths were in New York and New Jersey to the Chinese coronavirus.
00:17:18.000 And let's talk about your crime rates.
00:17:21.000 New York's population is 19.4 million and has 32,000 deaths, which is a death rate of 167 out of 100,000 residents.
00:17:31.000 When you juxtapose that to Arizona, Florida, Georgia, and Texas, it has a combined population of 68 million and just 29,000 deaths.
00:17:39.000 The death rate for those states is 42 out of 100,000, four times lower than New York City combined.
00:17:44.000 But it's all tragic, but we must talk in facts.
00:17:47.000 And also, we heard from one of the worst governors in America, the tyrant herself, Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who's a very unhappy, bitter person.
00:17:55.000 She has a lot of deep-seated rage.
00:17:57.000 I hope she finds some form of reconciliation.
00:18:00.000 She's a very angry person.
00:18:03.000 And Governor Gretchen Whitmer, whose response to the virus has been so draconian, she's destroyed thousands of Michigan businesses.
00:18:10.000 She was trying to continue on the virus messaging.
00:18:13.000 So I want to get into some of the never-Trumpers and some of the Republicans who think they're being cute and they think they're on the right side of history.
00:18:20.000 But first, let's talk about getting into shape.
00:18:23.000 Whether you're new to the gym or you've been weightlifting for years, it's hard to find the right workout program and stick to it.
00:18:29.000 If you've ever gone to the gym without a plan, you know how overwhelming the weight room can feel.

00:20:02.000 So then all the never Trumpers came along.
00:20:04.000 Meg Whitman, who I've met before, and man, I just, I just, she was a nice person.
00:20:09.000 I just don't understand it.
00:20:10.000 And then John Kasich and they had some other former Republicans that decided to go out on a limb and try to endorse Joe Biden.
00:20:18.000 So just understand, President Trump is one of the most popular presidents in the Republican Party in the history of the Republican Party.
00:20:24.000 And you look at the type of Republicans that are defecting from the party.
00:20:27.000 These are not Republicans that care about the fabric of our country.
00:20:31.000 These are mostly corporate Republicans like Meg Whitman, who have run massive companies that have shipped jobs overseas that have pandered to China that, quite frankly, really don't care about the future of the Republic.
00:20:42.000 They just care that they get invited to the right cocktail parties and their kids and grandkids get into the right elite institutions.
00:20:49.000 They are Rockefeller Republicans.
00:20:51.000 At least three of them were from New York and from New Jersey.
00:20:54.000 And again, John Kasich, the Democrats made a very strategic error here.
00:20:59.000 The Democrats should, instead of having all these people in highly produced campaign ads, they should have just paid for private jets and for quarantines and have everyone on the same stage.
00:21:12.000 It would have been a much better expenditure resource-wise.
00:21:15.000 It just didn't flow.
00:21:16.000 It looked like this was just a YouTube channel that people were zooming in.
00:21:21.000 The audio was bad with some of their speakers.
00:21:23.000 It wasn't good.
00:21:24.000 From a production standpoint, it was bad.
00:21:26.000 And then Amy Klobuchar came on screen.
00:21:29.000 And as I mentioned previously, she mentioned Epluribus Unim at least twice.
00:21:33.000 I have this running joke with Amy Klobuchar, and I can't believe it came true.
00:21:37.000 I said, oh my goodness, she's going to mention the blizzard.
00:21:39.000 And she mentioned the blizzard.
00:21:40.000 I mean, every single time she speaks, she talks about how she announced her campaign for president in a blizzard.
00:21:46.000 And my favorite part of her announcing her campaign for president in a blizzard is she was talking about the dangers of global warming.
00:21:54.000 And it's interesting enough, she didn't mention why she didn't pursue charges against Derek Chauvin, the individual that killed George Floyd.
00:22:02.000 She didn't mention that at all.
00:22:04.000 Of course, when Klobuchar was the Hennepin County attorney, she did not pursue charges against Derek Chauvin.
00:22:11.000 She didn't mention that at all.
00:22:12.000 And she also didn't mention any of the rioting or the destruction in the state that she represents.
00:22:19.000 She also didn't mention any of the rioting or destruction of the 170-plus black-owned businesses that were burned almost to the ground, many of them, in her home state of Minnesota in the city of Minneapolis.
00:22:34.000 She didn't mention any of that at all.
00:22:38.000 In fact, the riots that are happening in our country endlessly in Portland and in Seattle were not mentioned once by the Democrats tonight.
00:22:49.000 They know this is a losing issue.
00:22:51.000 They know that they are not going to mention how BLM Incorporated is roaming the streets like terrorist thugs going after innocent businesses, going after innocent people and terrorizing them.
00:23:07.000 The left has unleashed chaos and violence, and now they're gaslighting doublespeak against us.
00:23:16.000 And again, as they're trying to win over suburban voters and moderate Republicans with former Republicans like Meg Whitman and John Kasich, they're also pandering to BLM Incorporated while not mentioning a frontier issue of the criminals that are prowling in our streets.
00:23:36.000 There was a failed candidate montage.
00:23:38.000 It was really, really bizarre.
00:23:42.000 I don't know if this is the only speaking time they're going to get.
00:23:44.000 And if it is, man, do these people get gypped?
00:23:48.000 Corey Booker, Robert Francis O'Rourke, who's the fake Hispanic Irishman from El Paso, Andrew Yang, Governor Ensley, Kirsten Gillibrand.
00:23:59.000 They're all trying to get cabinet positions, I guess.
00:24:02.000 I think some of them are supposed to speak at some other points, but it was very poorly put together.
00:24:07.000 Jay Inslee was on a porch.
00:24:09.000 Kirsten Gillibrand had the camera way up to way too close to her face.
00:24:14.000 Awful.
00:24:15.000 Representative Cedric Richmond from Louisiana, who's in charge of something for the Biden campaign.
00:24:21.000 I think he's in charge of the Racial Disharmony Coalition.
00:24:24.000 I think he's in charge of turning people against each other based on their skin color.
00:24:29.000 I think he's in charge of making sure that the Biden campaign stays correctly racist.
00:24:37.000 And allegedly saying the Democrats are the champion of small businesses.
00:24:41.000 What about the small businesses that have burned to the ground?
00:24:43.000 What about the small businesses that we have profiled on our program before?
00:24:48.000 No mention of Mohammed Ashik, who we mentioned previously on the Charlie Kirk show, who has a watch clinic, owner of watch clinic in Chicago.
00:24:59.000 And over $900,000 of inventory was stole by BLM Incorporated and the terroristic forces in Chicago.
00:25:08.000 And he says, quote, it's my entire life, he says as a nearby L-Train rumbled above his store.
00:25:14.000 42 years in this business, and all I have left is my health.
00:25:19.000 No mention of that from Cedric Richmond, who's in charge, I think, of the racial disharmony coalition of the Joe Biden for president campaign.
00:25:30.000 And then came the Bolshevik.
00:25:32.000 Then came someone whose time probably would have been better suited 100 years previously in the rural parts of Russia when Lenin was leading a revolution against the SARS.
00:25:43.000 It just seems like Bernie Sanders is like a century too late for these ideas.
00:25:47.000 So the Bolshevik came out in early July with former Vice President Joe Biden.
00:25:52.000 They came out with their own unity manifesto.
00:25:55.000 I don't know if the manifesto is a term that they gave or that we gave them, but calling anything that is published by Senator Bernie Sanders a manifesto is awfully daft.
00:26:06.000 Actually, Mr. Producer just said that we gave the name to them, but I think they should call it the manifesto.
00:26:10.000 They might as well tell the truth for once because truth is not a left-wing value.
00:26:14.000 However, there were numerous recommendations from the Democrat National Committee, many of which were lifted directly from the Democrat-Marxist socialist agenda.
00:26:24.000 This was likely from Bernie's backroom payoff, basically, for remaining cooperative after all the Democrat Party elites colluded against him, not once, but twice.
00:26:35.000 In the 110-page manifesto, it urged the Democrat Party to dismantle President Trump's border security policies, implement a roadmap to citizenship for millions of illegals, pass a public option designed to lead to a government takeover of American health care and other radical ideas that will be incorporated more or less verbatim in the 2020 Democrat platform.
00:26:56.000 So Bernie then proceeds to start attacking President Trump and reminding the Democrat National Committee how his ideas have won right after Kasich just said Joe Biden wouldn't go radical left.
00:27:08.000 Yet another example of how incongruent the messaging was.
00:27:12.000 So first of all, it's just laughable and silly to hear Bernie Sanders ever talk about authoritarianism.
00:27:20.000 Everything that Bernie Sanders believes in is about centralizing power.
00:27:23.000 Play tape.
00:27:25.000 We have a president who is not only incapable of addressing these crises, but is leading us down the path of authoritarianism.
00:27:35.000 This election is the most important in the modern history of this country.
00:27:41.000 In response to the unprecedented crises we face, we need an unprecedented response, a movement like never before of people who are prepared to stand up and fight for democracy and decency and against greed, oligarchy, and bigotry.
00:28:01.000 And we need Joe Biden as our next president.
00:28:06.000 So basically, he says we're being led down a path to authoritarianism, and his solution is democratic authoritarianism.
00:28:14.000 And Bernie Sanders said, I may not be on the ticket, but my ideas are on the ticket.
00:28:21.000 And I have to just say that the Democrats and Kyle Kalinsky, who's a Marxist, basically a communist, nice guy, debated him at Politicon just about a year ago.
00:28:31.000 He got a little angry, and that's fine.
00:28:34.000 It happens to some of us.
00:28:36.000 He actually had a really good tweet about tonight.
00:28:39.000 It was so funny.
00:28:40.000 So Kyle Kalinsky, he runs a Twitter account called Secular Talk.
00:28:44.000 Again, he's a Marxist.
00:28:45.000 He's very far left.
00:28:47.000 Perfectly pleasant guy.
00:28:49.000 And I have nothing bad to say about him.
00:28:51.000 However, his Twitter has been terrific because he's dunking on the DNC as a communist, more so than even some conservatives are.
00:28:58.000 He said this.
00:28:58.000 He said, if this convention is proving anything to me, it's that Democrats still have the ability to F up this and lose to Trump again.
00:29:06.000 So perfectly said.
00:29:08.000 This is a Democrat socialist Bernie supporter.
00:29:10.000 And then he said this.
00:29:11.000 He said, here, quote, we love hearing 462 different versions of, quote, Trump bad with zero serious policy commitments to fix the heck world we're in.
00:29:22.000 He said a different world word, but we don't use those words, don't we, folks?
00:29:26.000 We have to keep our podcast PG-rated because I recommend young people to listen to it.
00:29:30.000 Anyway, Kyle Kalinsky is exactly right.
00:29:32.000 And it kind of builds out a point I was about to make.
00:29:34.000 It was just kind of a uneventful convention.
00:29:37.000 I mean, the Democrats truly believe that they can vanilla moderate their way to the White House.
00:29:43.000 They really do.
00:29:44.000 And by doing so, I guess stoke this racial flames.
00:29:47.000 They think that's acceptable enough, but also getting the Republicans come to the Democrat side.
00:29:53.000 There is no cohesiveness here.
00:29:55.000 They're just kind of throwing a bunch of stuff out and hoping something will work.
00:29:59.000 President Trump's message next week is going to be much more focused.
00:30:03.000 And just understand the significance of Bernie having a primetime message.
00:30:07.000 The Democrat Party is embracing communist ideas.
00:30:10.000 I don't say that lightly.
00:30:12.000 So many people have survived communism and socialism.
00:30:16.000 So many people have memories of that.
00:30:18.000 And speaking of memories and speaking of things that should not be forgotten, let's talk about a way that you could preserve your family's history and past.

00:31:42.000 So now we get to the keynote.
00:31:44.000 And of course, we have said many times before, Michelle Obama just hates America.
00:31:49.000 She does not have good things to say about our country.
00:31:52.000 She does not share the view that America is a gift from God.
00:31:55.000 She believes that America is a mistake.
00:31:57.000 That's basically the divide in America.
00:31:59.000 Are you thankful that you live in America or are you bitter, angry, and resentful that you live with America?
00:32:06.000 I just have to push back to the consensus here on Michelle Obama's speech.
00:32:10.000 A lot of people said it was wonderful.
00:32:12.000 They stuck the landing.
00:32:14.000 Many people on Fox News were praising her speech.
00:32:16.000 First of all, it was not a speech.
00:32:18.000 Sitting down in a living room, reading a teleprompter is not a speech.
00:32:22.000 That is a talk.
00:32:24.000 Okay?
00:32:25.000 A speech is standing up, showing commanding leading force, and showing clear direction.
00:32:32.000 And that might sound technical, but it's not a speech.
00:32:35.000 It was a talk.
00:32:37.000 George Stephanophilus said it was a new kind of fierce, whatever that means.
00:32:44.000 I watched the whole speech.
00:32:45.000 I felt so, you know, actually felt uninspired and so unmoved.
00:32:49.000 I actually said to myself, she's way more beatable than I once thought.
00:32:54.000 I actually thought Michelle Obama was once like this untouchable political force that we as Republicans eventually have to run up against.
00:33:00.000 And when we do, we're just going to get obliterated.
00:33:03.000 I no longer hold that view.
00:33:04.000 I do think she's formidable.
00:33:06.000 I do think that she's a tough opponent.
00:33:10.000 No doubt.
00:33:11.000 I think that people like her.
00:33:12.000 I think that she communicates well.
00:33:14.000 I think that the media will completely cover for her, totally.
00:33:19.000 But she seemed angry.
00:33:22.000 She seemed like an angry person who didn't feel very grateful to live in America.
00:33:26.000 She started her speech out by saying, I'm depressed.
00:33:29.000 And she recently said she has low-grade depression.
00:33:31.000 And I'll pray for her for that.
00:33:32.000 And I mean that when I say that.
00:33:34.000 I don't say it flippantly.
00:33:35.000 And one thing she said that was just so awful, so grotesque.
00:33:39.000 And Michelle Obama is a pathological liar.
00:33:42.000 She famously said back in 2008, I'm finally proud of my country for the first time in my life.
00:33:47.000 She has a history of bitter anti-American, anti-Western statements.
00:33:51.000 Her husband, of course, was a complete disgrace to our country and an awful president.
00:33:56.000 And she said, quote, there's a never-ending list of people of color who continue to be murdered.
00:34:00.000 First of all, this is a disgusting lie.
00:34:02.000 I mean, if she means black people killing black people, then yes, that list is very long.
00:34:07.000 But if she means police killing black people, not even close.
00:34:11.000 15 people, unarmed black people killed last year, many of whom were justified.
00:34:16.000 So only three of the 15 that were unarmed were unjustified.
00:34:19.000 So I think that we conflate terms, right?
00:34:21.000 So if a black person dies with a police officer, were they armed?
00:34:26.000 If the answer is yes, well, then it kind of ends the conversation there.
00:34:30.000 If they were unarmed, then was it justified?
00:34:34.000 And you might say, well, it's never justified to kill somebody who's unarmed.
00:34:37.000 That sounds good.
00:34:39.000 But what if someone says they're armed?
00:34:41.000 What if someone is behind the door and says, I have a gun, I have a gun.
00:34:44.000 I'm going to blow your head off.
00:34:45.000 And the police officer comes with the gun and is prepared to use it.
00:34:48.000 What if someone motions that they have a gun, which many of these examples are?
00:34:52.000 What if someone is trying to run over a police officer in a car?
00:34:55.000 They might not have a weapon, but they have some form of a tool that could be used as a weapon.
00:35:00.000 I encourage you to go back in the archives of the Charlie Kirk show.
00:35:02.000 We're going to repost this on CharlieKirk.com, that Heather McDonald episode.
00:35:06.000 If you guys have trouble finding it, just email me directly at freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:35:10.000 She debunks this bitter and sinister lie better than anyone else.
00:35:14.000 And she's just race-baiting Michelle Obama.
00:35:16.000 And she has very little political talent.
00:35:19.000 And I can't even believe I'm saying that because I actually thought she was way more talented than she really is.
00:35:24.000 Because what I saw tonight was just, it kind of felt like Oprah, to be honest with you.
00:35:29.000 And I don't just say that because of the color of her skin, just the delivery, to be honest.
00:35:32.000 And Oprah has lost all of her talent.
00:35:34.000 I mean, Oprah's just become an angry woman.
00:35:35.000 I used to love watching Oprah.
00:35:37.000 Oh my goodness.
00:35:38.000 I mean, young Oprah was awesome.
00:35:40.000 Young Oprah was on top of it.
00:35:43.000 She was energetic.
00:35:44.000 She was pro-American.
00:35:45.000 She had Donald Trump on her show.
00:35:46.000 She landed the biggest interviews.
00:35:48.000 Now Oprah is mean.
00:35:50.000 Same with Michelle Obama.
00:35:51.000 It's like all these rags to riches stories of people that grew up with nothing.
00:35:56.000 They were once champions of opportunity.
00:35:59.000 And they just become so stern-faced.
00:36:00.000 I'm like, geez, Michelle.
00:36:04.000 I mean, I get it.
00:36:05.000 You went to Whitney Young, which was a great high school.
00:36:06.000 I'm sure you experienced racism at some points in your life, but you were first lady.
00:36:10.000 Can you be a little less negative in your approach?
00:36:12.000 Can you say something nice about our country?
00:36:15.000 Her entire tone was essentially, I'm ashamed to be an American.
00:36:20.000 At one point, she said, quote, if you don't think things can get worse, they can and they will.
00:36:25.000 If you take one thing from my words tonight, it is this.
00:36:30.000 If you think things cannot possibly get worse, trust me, they can and they will if we don't make a change in this election.
00:36:40.000 If we have any hope of ending this chaos, we have got to vote for Joe Biden like our lives depend on it.
00:36:49.000 This is fear-mongering.
00:36:50.000 What she's really saying is, quote, no, I will make sure they get worse until you vote for me.
00:36:54.000 It's basically political extortion.
00:36:57.000 She also said something really weird that Joe Biden gives his personal phone number to kids.
00:37:02.000 Joe knows what it's like to struggle, which is why he gives his personal phone number to kids overcoming a stutter of their own.
00:37:10.000 And she also said they're purging the voter rolls.
00:37:13.000 Well, yeah, I hope dead people are purged from the voter rolls.
00:37:15.000 That might bother Michelle Obama, but there was really no theme there.
00:37:19.000 I mean, I think it was a huge mistake that Michelle Obama was sitting down when she was giving the speech.
00:37:24.000 I thought it was actually poorly produced.
00:37:27.000 I think that Michelle Obama should have been standing up.
00:37:29.000 I think she should have had that full body picture.
00:37:32.000 I think she should have been much more declarative.
00:37:35.000 Instead, it was, it felt like a counseling session.
00:37:39.000 I wasn't sure who needed the counseling, if it was me or her.
00:37:42.000 And so there really was very little theme or message, except that we're all awful.
00:37:46.000 And if you vote for Joe Biden, we can be less awful.
00:37:49.000 And really, Michelle Obama's all about herself.
00:37:51.000 She's all about her own power grab.
00:37:52.000 She wants to run for president in the future.
00:37:53.000 And I think that she's actually much more beatable than she leads on.
00:37:56.000 I think that she is driven by malevolence.
00:37:59.000 She's deceitful and she's bitter.
00:38:01.000 And look, the overall message of the evening is this.
00:38:04.000 Trump is awful.
00:38:06.000 BLM Incorporated is terrific.
00:38:08.000 And if you're a Republican, please come vote for us.
00:38:12.000 But what it really means is this.
00:38:15.000 Very little of the evening was focused on how great Joe Biden was.
00:38:20.000 You could really tell that all the speakers, they felt very forced.
00:38:24.000 They're very agreed that they hate Donald Trump.
00:38:26.000 A lot of window dressing, a lot of talking points, a lot of platitudes, a lot of different types of gimmicks they were trying.
00:38:34.000 But there are very little specific policy points, very little directional changes that they thought they were going to make.
00:38:43.000 It was just very open-ended.
00:38:45.000 It was almost a very emotive way of communicating.
00:38:48.000 And quite honestly, I'm just trying to really contemplate this.
00:38:52.000 I'm like, the Democrats did really well in 2008 and 2012 at being inspiring.
00:38:59.000 They were really good at it.
00:39:00.000 I lived through it.
00:39:02.000 I was young.
00:39:03.000 I was in high school.
00:39:04.000 I was 18 years old in 2012.
00:39:05.000 And I was 14 in 2008.
00:39:08.000 I saw it firsthand.
00:39:09.000 I saw young people get motivated.
00:39:10.000 They're not getting motivated by this.
00:39:12.000 They're getting angry.
00:39:14.000 Donald Trump has a huge opportunity next week to make America dream big and think big, to reach for higher heights and to have tomorrow be a better day than it is today.
00:39:27.000 Not this bitter counseling session where like Michelle Obama calls you into her living room and being, let me tell you how awful you are.
00:39:34.000 Let me tell you about everything that's wrong with our country.
00:39:36.000 The president's terrible.
00:39:37.000 Oh, by the way, I got a Biden sign 500 yards in the distance out of focus, which is true.
00:39:43.000 I mean, Michelle Obama had a Biden sign literally so far away, I was like, is that say Biden?
00:39:48.000 It's not really clear.
00:39:49.000 And it was out of focus.
00:39:50.000 It was poorly produced.
00:39:53.000 No.
00:39:54.000 By the way, there weren't very many American flags tonight.
00:39:56.000 Let me just put it that way.
00:39:57.000 There are very few American flags in all of the different shots.
00:40:02.000 We know the Democrats have lost their way.
00:40:04.000 They're wandering in a desert.
00:40:06.000 They think they can get a referendum vote against Donald Trump.
00:40:09.000 And I think we all know that's not the case.
00:40:11.000 I think we all know that a referendum vote against Donald Trump is going to be very risky for them.
00:40:16.000 They are betting on big tech censorship, big tech involvement, and vote by mail.
00:40:21.000 A couple missing themes from tonight, and it might show itself throughout the rest of the week.
00:40:25.000 Very little focus on the environment.
00:40:29.000 That might have been intentional.
00:40:30.000 It might have been an oversight because that's usually something Democrats really care about: earth worship.
00:40:35.000 Very little focus on gun grabbing.
00:40:38.000 And also very little focus on the Me Too movement.
00:40:41.000 Very little focus.
00:40:42.000 The week is still young.
00:40:44.000 We could still wait for Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday.
00:40:46.000 But interestingly enough, I think the Democrats, based on their pandering to racial politics and moderate voters, they know they have to boost minority turnout in the state of Pennsylvania.
00:40:55.000 When they had their little small business Zoom session, two out of four of the small business owners were in Pennsylvania.
00:41:02.000 The Democrats see what we see.
00:41:03.000 And we've talked about this on the Charlie Kirk show before.
00:41:06.000 Donald Trump's going to win the Core 4.
00:41:08.000 He's going to win Arizona, Iowa, Ohio, North Carolina.
00:41:11.000 Donald Trump is also probably going to win Florida.
00:41:14.000 Therefore, if Donald Trump either wins Wisconsin or Pennsylvania, he wins the White House in four more years.
00:41:19.000 That's why they have their little virtual convention in Milwaukee, of which it's going to do nothing because none of the people are actually in Milwaukee.
00:41:25.000 Now, the Democrats are left with a question.
00:41:31.000 Did they win anyone over tonight?
00:41:34.000 And I don't want to sound too confident.
00:41:36.000 I'm not someone.
00:41:37.000 You listen to our program, and thank you for that.
00:41:37.000 You guys know that.
00:41:39.000 And thank you for supporting us at charliekirk.com/slash support.
00:41:44.000 I'm not one to celebrate too early, but I think they actually lost people tonight.
00:41:51.000 I mean, I'm sure there's one person out there that's like, you know what, I'm totally convinced.
00:41:55.000 And God bless that person.
00:41:55.000 I'm all in.
00:41:57.000 If you know them, pray for them if they were convinced by it tonight.
00:42:02.000 But I'm looking at the social media reaction.
00:42:05.000 I'm looking at the comments.
00:42:07.000 It was an unpersuasive night.
00:42:10.000 Republicans that are watching this, they're already voting for Trump.
00:42:13.000 Let me tell you what.
00:42:14.000 If there's a Republican out there that all of a sudden was moved by John Kasich in a meadow telling us about how his father worked for the post office, I don't know if that actually happened, but I don't think John Kasich has ever given a speech without ever mentioning that his father worked for the post office.
00:42:26.000 Okay.
00:42:28.000 I actually think that more people are uncertain about the direction of the Democrat Party.
00:42:32.000 I can tell you this, that the base of the Democrat Party that are angry and bitter young people that are socialists, that are utopianists.
00:42:42.000 How do you think they felt when they had a bunch of Republicans on TV?
00:42:46.000 How do you think the Bernie Sanders voters felt when a bunch of Republicans kept on going on TV?
00:42:51.000 I can tell you this.
00:42:53.000 If there were a bunch of Democrats going on TV and those Democrats loved abortion and all that, and they were telling me about how great Donald Trump was, I'd think a little bit about, like, I don't know if I love that.
00:43:06.000 Now, I do love defection stories.
00:43:07.000 I love that.
00:43:08.000 Trust me.
00:43:09.000 But if it was one after the other after the other, I know the base would be turned off by that.
00:43:13.000 Mitt Romney tried this back in 2012.
00:43:15.000 He tried all these Democrats for Romney, and it just turned off the base of the party.
00:43:19.000 So it's a risky strategy.
00:43:20.000 Maybe it works.
00:43:20.000 Maybe it won't.
00:43:21.000 Maybe it'll work.
00:43:22.000 Maybe it won't.
00:43:23.000 I don't think it will.
00:43:25.000 After the first night of the convention, it's very clear.
00:43:27.000 The Democrats are scattered.
00:43:30.000 They're disorganized.
00:43:31.000 And they're in a much more precarious position than they're leading on.
00:43:37.000 This race is changing very quickly.
00:43:42.000 The latest CNN poll, and we'll close with this, is that the movement in the polls nationwide since June has shown that Donald Trump is down just one point in the battleground moving average.
00:43:56.000 Trump gained 10 points in the CNN poll since June.
00:44:00.000 10 points.
00:44:02.000 And that doesn't factor in enthusiasm, voter registration, or any of that.
00:44:06.000 Campus closure, so on-campus ballot harvesting has been completely removed from the equation.
00:44:11.000 And you can see that reflected in this campaign.
00:44:14.000 You can see that reflected in this convention.
00:44:17.000 Don't get too excited.
00:44:20.000 Don't get overly cocky.
00:44:22.000 Work like your civilization depends on it because it does.
00:44:25.000 But I'm here to tell you right now what I saw through my political analysis lens.
00:44:30.000 And I eat, breathe, and sleep this stuff.
00:44:32.000 I do 22 hours a day sometimes of this stuff.
00:44:35.000 That is not a winning campaign, what I saw tonight from the Biden campaign.
00:44:38.000 That is not.
00:44:39.000 I don't know what that is, but that is not how you win the White House.
00:44:42.000 I saw the Barack Obama campaign in 2012 and 08 up close and personal, headquartered in Chicago.
00:44:47.000 They wouldn't have allowed that.
00:44:48.000 Whatever happened tonight, they would never have allowed to happen.
00:44:52.000 President Trump's in a good position.
00:44:54.000 We are going to be following it all week and the Democrat National Convention and their attempt to try to make a coherent message, something Joe Biden can't do himself.
00:45:03.000 So let's see if the Democrat Party can do it for him.
