00:01:30.000 Okay everybody, we're here live at the RNC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
00:01:34.000 Day 2 is coming to a wrap.
00:01:38.000 Wow.
00:01:39.000 There we go.
00:01:39.000 You guys ready for some hot takes?
00:01:43.000 Oh there you go.
00:01:44.000 That is something else.
00:01:47.000 Okay, all right.
00:01:48.000 All right, we have Blake Neff here, Jack Posobiec, Tyler Boyer.
00:01:51.000 We are recapping what was a very, very eventful day, too.
00:01:54.000 We had Dr. Ben Carson, Vivek Ramaswamy.
00:01:57.000 Your instant reaction, Blake, what did you see?
00:02:00.000 Charlie, it was a big night.
00:02:02.000 This is really what showed off the unity of the Republican Party now.
00:02:07.000 Now that Donald Trump has won the nomination again, we saw Ron DeSantis speak, we saw Nikki Haley speak.
00:02:13.000 She was even ready for the handful of people who were not happy.
00:02:16.000 She was like, Donald Trump invited me to be here?
00:02:18.000 I'm really happy to be here.
00:02:20.000 And I think it was received quite well, actually.
00:02:22.000 I thought the action of having DeSantis and Nikki, Nikki and DeSantis back-to-back was awesome.
00:02:28.000 Don't you agree, Tyler?
00:02:30.000 It was a contrast.
00:02:31.000 The Democrat Party has never been more divided.
00:02:33.000 Our party has never been more united.
00:02:35.000 Yeah, 100%.
00:02:36.000 And look, I mean, Ron DeSantis, well, remember, Ron DeSantis did the right thing.
00:02:40.000 So he came out almost immediately, came right away and said, I'm behind Donald Trump, did the right thing.
00:02:48.000 His team was all there.
00:02:49.000 I've seen many members of his internal team around, which is great too, seeing that.
00:02:53.000 Super supportive.
00:02:54.000 Ultra MAGA.
00:02:55.000 We're all in.
00:02:57.000 But the Nikki Band-Aid, I mean, you cannot focus on this enough.
00:03:01.000 A lot of people were expecting, like, a big, kind of, Nikki Haley upheaval here this week.
00:03:06.000 And, like, people were trying to agitate it for the media.
00:03:09.000 And that didn't happen.
00:03:10.000 And the Trump team did a really good job of making sure that didn't happen.
00:03:13.000 This was the most low-key Nikki Haley entrance that you possibly could get.
00:03:18.000 And she's now exiting.
00:03:20.000 And there is a lot of unity.
00:03:22.000 Let's play some- I thought her speech was excellent and was very classy and impactful.
00:03:26.000 Let's play Cup 119.
00:03:27.000 This is about foreign policy, Jack.
00:03:29.000 Nikki Haley, foreign policy, and Trump don't always agree.
00:03:32.000 Let's play Cup 119.
00:03:34.000 As ambassador to the United Nations, I had a front row seat to his national security policies.
00:03:41.000 We sure could use those again.
00:03:43.000 When Barack Obama was president, Vladimir Putin invaded Crimea.
00:03:50.000 With Joe Biden as president, Putin invaded all of Ukraine.
00:03:55.000 But when Donald Trump was president, Putin did nothing.
00:04:00.000 No invasions, no wars.
00:04:03.000 That was no accident.
00:04:05.000 Putin didn't attack Ukraine because he knew Donald Trump was tough.
00:04:10.000 A strong president doesn't start wars.
00:04:13.000 A strong president prevents wars.
00:04:16.000 I thought that was excellent from Nikki Haley.
00:04:18.000 Your reaction, Blake?
00:04:19.000 Well, I think what was really good about it was it wasn't like a Stepford Wife speech where she just pretends there was no conflict between them.
00:04:26.000 She came out and said, I'm speaking for people who don't agree with Trump 100%.
00:04:31.000 There's a lot of them.
00:04:32.000 I'm going to make a case to those people.
00:04:35.000 And so it was very strong, acknowledging there are differences, but Donald Trump is clearly the better choice.
00:04:42.000 For all those Republicans out there who did consider a different nominee this cycle.
00:04:46.000 Way better than Biden.
00:04:47.000 Way better than Harris.
00:04:48.000 I want to play another tape here of Nikki Haley.
00:04:50.000 Donald Trump has my strong endorsement.
00:04:53.000 Period.
00:04:54.000 Play Cut 117.
00:04:54.000 President Trump asked me to speak to this convention in the name of unity.
00:05:04.000 It was a gracious invitation and I was happy to accept.
00:05:12.000 I'll start by making one thing perfectly clear.
00:05:18.000 Donald Trump has my strong endorsement, period.
00:05:29.000 Jack, you want to take that first?
00:05:32.000 Look, you know... Be nice.
00:05:33.000 We've seen... I'll put it this way.
00:05:36.000 There's a lot of people here, Charlie, that I've seen walking around this convention.
00:05:41.000 There's a lot of people and a lot of receipts that I have saved and screenshots and tweets and all of those things.
00:05:49.000 And they're in the Pozo Archive.
00:05:51.000 We know where they all are.
00:05:53.000 And it's very interesting to see who's walking around Upright who's walking around with a little spring in their step and who's kind of dragging their feet a little bit who's a little a little downtrodden head held a little a little bit lower than usual and so here we see Nikki Haley and then of course we also saw Ron DeSantis two of his most fierce primary opponents endorsing him in the same night and it is a testament to the fact
00:06:28.000 Let's go!
00:06:28.000 Donald Trump has the party on his side, that his wing of the party is ascendant.
00:06:35.000 And I gotta show, let's get this on camera guys, because I've got right here the very
00:06:41.000 first Trump Vans 2024 sign.
00:06:44.000 Let's go!
00:06:45.000 Let's go!
00:06:46.000 It's been, by the way, Charlie, the Trump Vans, I talked to one of the merch tables
00:06:52.000 earlier, the official RNC.
00:06:53.000 The Trump Vans pins, they can't keep them in stock.
00:06:57.000 They can't print them fast enough.
00:07:00.000 That's how excited people are for this wing, the populist wing, the America first wing of the party.
00:07:07.000 Let's go!
00:07:08.000 To be completely ascendant.
00:07:10.000 Sorry, Charlie, you want to chime in?
00:07:12.000 I just want to say this too.
00:07:14.000 It is a great day when you have the neocon wing of the Republican Party coming to our side, right?
00:07:23.000 So everybody, there should be no one upset about the outcome of today.
00:07:27.000 You should say this is Donald Trump has done something no one else has been able to do, and that's get the neocons to completely back him.
00:07:35.000 So let's go to the next unity speech.
00:07:38.000 Governor Ron DeSantis, who I thought was terrific tonight as well.
00:07:41.000 I thought he was funny and he was warm and he was engaging and magnanimous.
00:07:45.000 Let's go to Cut 118.
00:07:47.000 Donald Trump has been demonized, he's been sued, he's been prosecuted and nearly lost his life.
00:07:51.000 Play Cut 118.
00:07:55.000 Now Donald Trump stands in their way and he stands up for America.
00:08:00.000 Donald Trump has been demonized, he's been sued, he's been prosecuted and he nearly lost his life.
00:08:07.000 We cannot let him down and we cannot let America down.
00:08:13.000 So, and you had a thought here, Blake or Jack, because it's interesting, in 2016, the contrast.
00:08:19.000 Ted Cruz also spoke tonight, he gave a great speech.
00:08:22.000 In 2016, Ted Cruz went up on stage in Cleveland.
00:08:24.000 I was in the room.
00:08:25.000 I was there too.
00:08:25.000 I was in the room.
00:08:26.000 And he did this, the weirdest convention speech.
00:08:30.000 I was hoping he'd call back to it.
00:08:31.000 He'd say, you know, vote your conscience, which is voting Trump.
00:08:34.000 People were at it.
00:08:36.000 He should have made a joke.
00:08:37.000 It's called lampshading in like writing.
00:08:41.000 So he should have lampshaded it and just made it a joke.
00:08:43.000 Vote your conscience for Trump.
00:08:46.000 I've listened to my conscience here.
00:08:48.000 I've been pondering my conscience.
00:08:50.000 That wasn't the goal though.
00:08:52.000 At the time, that wasn't the goal.
00:08:54.000 There were so many people that were on our side that were telling people to not do that.
00:08:58.000 That's the contrast between then and now.
00:09:01.000 We have a completely unified, fully Trump.
00:09:06.000 We finally found a regime change that the neocons had to go along with.
00:09:13.000 I thought the winners of the night were Vivek Ramaswamy and Dr. Ben Carson.
00:09:17.000 Rubio was great.
00:09:18.000 But I want to emphasize some of the everyday American stories.
00:09:21.000 I was on the floor doing media.
00:09:23.000 Jack, you got to come with me tomorrow.
00:09:24.000 It's so much fun.
00:09:25.000 Kind of going to the floor and doing media and stuff.
00:09:27.000 And this is a woman who lost her son to a fentanyl overdose.
00:09:32.000 The entire room went silent.
00:09:34.000 She was terrific, she was engaging, she was warm, and she was morally clear about how Joe Biden is responsible for her son's death.
00:09:42.000 Play cut 124.
00:09:44.000 My family and I were living in Southern California when President Biden took office and opened our borders.
00:09:52.000 My Weston was 15, and in a moment of peer pressure, he tried something that someone gave to him, and it took my baby's life.
00:10:04.000 We did everything right.
00:10:07.000 I had those conversations with him and fentanyl still found my son.
00:10:13.000 And on February 27, 2022, our lives were shattered and our baby was gone.
00:10:22.000 This was not an overdose.
00:10:26.000 It was a poisoning.
00:10:28.000 His whole future, everything we ever wanted for him, was ripped away in an instant.
00:10:35.000 And Joe Biden does nothing.
00:10:37.000 I hold Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the borders are.
00:10:43.000 What a joke.
00:10:45.000 And Gavin Newsom and every Democrat who supports open borders responsible for the death of my son.
00:10:53.000 Charlie, I wish that in the room they would have had...
00:10:57.000 The cameras turned on the crowd.
00:11:00.000 They didn't show that.
00:11:01.000 You couldn't see this on TV, but I was on the floor.
00:11:04.000 You were on the floor.
00:11:05.000 You saw this.
00:11:05.000 You turned around.
00:11:07.000 Everyone was crying.
00:11:08.000 Every person listening to every word that was coming out of her mouth was in tears.
00:11:12.000 And I know there were so many people at home that were in tears, but the room shifted.
00:11:16.000 So like you said, it was like, it's been kind of a political day.
00:11:20.000 That was a very non-political, very real moment.
00:11:23.000 I want to play Cut 125 here.
00:11:26.000 Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was terrific tonight.
00:11:29.000 I mean, you really had some all-stars tonight.
00:11:32.000 And they were young, and they were diverse, and these are people that are capable.
00:11:35.000 You had Ben Carson, you had Vivek, you had Marco, you had Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
00:11:39.000 I mean, you're looking at that as a first-time viewer of an RNC.
00:11:42.000 I want to say, I thought tonight, from a story and production standpoint, was better than last night.
00:11:47.000 And I would say that as somebody who spoke last night.
00:11:53.000 Well, I mean, I'm not saying I did poorly.
00:11:54.000 I'm just saying, like... No, but you anchored the youth.
00:11:58.000 Tonight was a young night.
00:11:59.000 It was super... Well, yeah, you started the trend for... I started the trend.
00:12:03.000 There you go.
00:12:04.000 I'll give you that one.
00:12:05.000 Sarah Huckabee Sanders was excellent.
00:12:07.000 This was one of the... Wasn't she great, guys?
00:12:10.000 She was really great.
00:12:11.000 Yeah, she was great.
00:12:11.000 We love Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
00:12:13.000 Don't we love her, folks?
00:12:14.000 I'll tell you, Sarah Huckabee Sanders here in Cut 125 in one of the mic drop moments.
00:12:20.000 And you can tell that the Trump team was de-emphasizing the assassination until the last couple of speakers because they didn't want everyone to mention it.
00:12:28.000 But they wanted to make sure that it was an element or else you'd have 120 people saying the same thing.
00:12:34.000 And they definitely gave the green light to Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
00:12:37.000 She was one of his fiercest advocates in the trenches.
00:12:42.000 Let's play Cut 125.
00:12:45.000 Not even an assassin's bullet could stop him.
00:12:50.000 God Almighty intervened because America is one nation under God and he is certainly
00:13:02.000 not finished with President Trump.
00:13:04.000 Thank you.
00:13:18.000 Very powerful.
00:13:19.000 Anyone have a reaction to that?
00:13:20.000 Just a big moment, you know, and that's something where... You mentioned a second ago that Sarah Huckabee Sanders wasn't just someone who, you know, rode off of her family's legacy and went into politics, which she could have done.
00:13:35.000 She easily could have done that.
00:13:37.000 She was in the trenches.
00:13:39.000 She took the most thankless job.
00:13:40.000 She took a job that was completely thankless.
00:13:44.000 I was there, by the way, at the White House Correspondent's dinner with her the night where she was just personally harassed, excoriated, mocked to her face for her physical appearance.
00:13:56.000 And it was just mean.
00:13:59.000 It was nasty.
00:14:00.000 She was one of the first to get kicked out of a restaurant just because she worked for the Trump administration.
00:14:04.000 The Rooster spot.
00:14:05.000 She talked about it tonight, and I thought that was a really important point, like the entire, when she was talking.
00:14:10.000 That was moving.
00:14:11.000 You saw in her face the emotion.
00:14:13.000 And you could see the emotional journey that she was on, that President Trump was on, the fact that it was, I mean, for lack of a better phrase, Sarah Huckabee Sanders is ride or die.
00:14:25.000 She's ride or die.
00:14:26.000 Well, and Charlie remembers this with a lot of our staff.
00:14:29.000 We were deeply concerned about People going to D.C.
00:14:33.000 and getting hurt all the time?
00:14:36.000 You would walk out of the Trump Hotel, you would walk out of restaurants, and they would target you.
00:14:41.000 So they would send in units, like Soros-funded units, that would literally mock and harass you at minimum, if not tell you they're gonna physically assault you.
00:14:50.000 They did this to Rand Paul.
00:14:51.000 Yeah, well, they do this all the time.
00:14:53.000 But famously to Rand Paul, yeah.
00:14:55.000 And now they're all, oh, they're very upset that someone actually took them at their word and tried to kill Donald Trump.
00:15:01.000 Let's continue here.
00:15:02.000 Again, this was an all-star lineup of the youth of the Republican Party and the unification of the Republican Party.
00:15:10.000 Ratings are showing that Vivek Ramaswamy gave one of the best speeches of the evening.
00:15:14.000 Do you guys agree that Vivek gave one of the best speeches?
00:15:17.000 Do you guys agree?
00:15:18.000 I thought it was great.
00:15:20.000 We love Vivek!
00:15:21.000 Let's go to Cut 111.
00:15:23.000 We are in the midst of a national identity crisis right now.
00:15:27.000 Play Cut 111.
00:15:31.000 We're in the middle of a national identity crisis right now.
00:15:35.000 Faith, patriotism, hard work, and family have disappeared, only to be replaced by race, gender, sexuality, and climate.
00:15:46.000 But we're not going to win this election just by criticizing the other side.
00:15:50.000 We're going to win this by standing for our own vision of who we really are.
00:15:56.000 What does it mean to be a Republican in the year 2024?
00:16:00.000 What does it mean to be an American in the year 2024?
00:16:04.000 It means we believe in the ideals of 1776.
00:16:07.000 It means we believe in merit.
00:16:10.000 That you get ahead in this country, not on the color of your skin, but on the content of your character and your contributions.
00:16:18.000 These are not black ideas or white ideas.
00:16:21.000 They are not even Democrat ideas or Republican ideas.
00:16:25.000 They are American ideas that we fought a revolution to secure.
00:16:29.000 And the man who will revive these ideals in the United States of America is your next president, the 47th president of the United States, Donald J. Trump!
00:16:43.000 Was he going to go no red states or blue states for all of the United States of America?
00:16:48.000 I don't, when I look at Vivek, I like think of, I love when he says 1776, because his hair reminds me of somebody that like, he's got a haircut that looks like, reminds me of like, literally one of the founders.
00:17:00.000 Very Jeffersonian.
00:17:01.000 He's very Jeffersonian!
00:17:03.000 He's got like the, he's like got the perfect cut for it.
00:17:05.000 I'm like, dude, Vivek was young like those guys.
00:17:08.000 He's got a haircut like those guys.
00:17:10.000 The way he says 1776 gets me going.
00:17:13.000 I love it.
00:17:14.000 Let's continue here.
00:17:16.000 There was definitely a focus on Gen Z and Millennials.
00:17:20.000 We did that in our speech yesterday.
00:17:22.000 Cut 112, Vivek.
00:17:23.000 And our message to Gen Z is this.
00:17:24.000 You want to be a rebel?
00:17:25.000 You want to be a hippie?
00:17:26.000 You want to stick it to the man?
00:17:27.000 Play Cut 112.
00:17:29.000 And our message to Gen Z is this.
00:17:32.000 You're going to be the generation that actually saves this country.
00:17:36.000 You want to be a rebel?
00:17:37.000 You want to be a hippie?
00:17:39.000 You want to stick it to the man?
00:17:42.000 Show up on your college campus and try calling yourself a conservative.
00:17:46.000 Say you want to get married, have kids, teach them to believe in God and pledge allegiance to their country.
00:17:52.000 Because you know what?
00:17:53.000 Fear has been infectious in this country, but courage can be contagious too.
00:17:58.000 That too is what it means to be an American.
00:18:02.000 There's the line, folks.
00:18:03.000 Be a rebel, start a family.
00:18:05.000 You like that, guys?
00:18:06.000 I'm saying it too.
00:18:07.000 We got some young guys here.
00:18:08.000 Be a rebel, start a family.
00:18:11.000 That's one of the great... We don't really talk about who started that, but we can.
00:18:15.000 We talk about the fact that that's gone on to be one of the greatest slogans for millennial and Gen Z. And by the way, and I always like to add when I say this, that you're never too old to start a family, either.
00:18:28.000 That's something that a lot of people need to hear.
00:18:31.000 It is incredible, Blake, the talent that we have on our collective roster.
00:18:38.000 Compare this to the Democrats, who are about to have their convention, and one of their biggest problems is, who can we even slot in?
00:18:45.000 They are still trading on the popularity of someone who hasn't been president for eight years.
00:18:51.000 Eight years?
00:18:52.000 Barack Obama.
00:18:53.000 They have Gretchen Whitmer, who I think is super unlikable, Gavin Newsom, who's awful, They don't have the talent that we have.
00:19:02.000 I mean, you have Marco Rubio, Ron DeSanto, Vic Ramasamy, Ben Carson.
00:19:07.000 I mean, that is hard to match.
00:19:10.000 Well, they also, Charlie, have a problem because coming out of the Obama era, Biden got the benefit Last election of these, like, holdover, uh, Hollywood elitist, you know, musicians and things like that.
00:19:26.000 I don't think those people are going to show up this time for him at the convention.
00:19:29.000 You don't think Jack Black is going to do a good job?
00:19:32.000 I can't wait to see Jack Black's speech.
00:19:35.000 Jack Black said he might be the only guy who would be given a speech at the DNC when Joe Biden is victorious.
00:19:41.000 I can't wait to see.
00:19:42.000 I hope all of Tenacious D is there.
00:19:43.000 I hear their tour has been a little bit curtailed.
00:19:46.000 We'll see.
00:19:47.000 Vivek Ramaswamy made a direct appeal to Black America.
00:19:51.000 Let's play Cut 114.
00:19:54.000 I'd like to deliver a message that the media doesn't want you to hear from the Republican Party.
00:20:00.000 Our message to Black Americans is this.
00:20:03.000 The media has tried to convince you for decades that Republicans don't care about your communities, but we do.
00:20:10.000 We want for you what we want for every American.
00:20:13.000 Safe neighborhoods, clean streets, good jobs, a better life for your children, and a justice system that treats everyone equally, regardless of your skin color and regardless of your political beliefs.
00:20:28.000 I thought this was excellent, guys, of Vivek Ramaswamy trying to expand the tent of the Republican Party.
00:20:35.000 That is a beautiful pairing with a patriotic woman who spoke about her son being killed.
00:20:41.000 Yeah, Madeline Brame.
00:20:43.000 And there was a theme tonight.
00:20:45.000 The theme was that our cities are unsafe, our party is increasingly diverse, but we actually don't care that much about it.
00:20:50.000 It just so happens.
00:20:52.000 We also have really high-performing people.
00:20:54.000 We're not afraid to show the depth of our roster.
00:20:57.000 And then you end with Laura Trump, which I just thought was terrific and excellent.
00:21:01.000 Marco Rubio also gave a great speech, didn't he, Blake?
00:21:03.000 I don't know.
00:21:04.000 I was walking to the table.
00:21:05.000 Who heard Marco's speech?
00:21:07.000 Did anyone hear Marco's speech?
00:21:08.000 Did Marco do a great job?
00:21:10.000 I thought Marco was excellent.
00:21:12.000 He's come a long way, too.
00:21:14.000 I mean, you have to look at this.
00:21:16.000 The transformation of Marco Rubio from OG Marco Rubio to post-Trump Marco Rubio is special.
00:21:23.000 You and I talk about this a lot because there was a time where Marco was... And Tyler, talk about this for a second.
00:21:30.000 Marco was supposed to be the heir apparent to the party after the Romney autopsy of 2012.
00:21:37.000 It was made for Hispanics.
00:21:40.000 This was Karl Rove.
00:21:41.000 This was his strategy.
00:21:42.000 We're going to give it to Rubio.
00:21:45.000 And it was all pander, all pander.
00:21:47.000 And he was sort of just there as a vessel for all of this.
00:21:52.000 It's Gang of Eight Marco Rubio, replaced by post-Trump Marco Rubio, and the Cubans love him even more!
00:21:59.000 That's right.
00:22:01.000 Let's continue here, recapping the phenomenal evening.
00:22:05.000 I'm curious to hear what some of the media networks say about this, what they're trying to spin.
00:22:08.000 Dark Knight.
00:22:09.000 One of my favorite human beings.
00:22:11.000 We love Ben Carson, don't we everybody?
00:22:12.000 Ben Carson is just... Let's hear it for Ben Carson!
00:22:14.000 Ben's the best!
00:22:16.000 Let's hear it for Dr. Carson!
00:22:18.000 Ben!
00:22:24.000 He is one of the greatest living Americans and he gave a wonderful speech.
00:22:29.000 This guy is such, he's honorable, he is honest, he's a good, good man.
00:22:36.000 Play Cut 123.
00:22:38.000 Let me tell you the weapons that they used.
00:22:40.000 First, they tried to ruin his reputation.
00:22:43.000 And he's more popular now than ever.
00:22:45.000 And then they tried to bankrupt him.
00:22:48.000 And he's got more money now than he had before.
00:22:51.000 And then they tried to put him in prison.
00:22:54.000 And he's freer and has made other people free with him.
00:22:58.000 And then... And then last weekend, they tried to kill him.
00:23:03.000 And there he is over there alive and well.
00:23:06.000 And it's just amazing to hear and see that.
00:23:15.000 Additionally, I just want to say this before we play the Madeline Brame thing.
00:23:20.000 My team is reminding me.
00:23:21.000 If you guys want to get that Never Surrender t-shirt, it's members.charliekirk.com.
00:23:25.000 We're doing a member drive all week.
00:23:26.000 Members.charliekirk.com.
00:23:28.000 This was, I think, the speech of the night.
00:23:31.000 I knew it when I saw her name listed.
00:23:32.000 She is the of the state of New York, which is a project at Turning
00:23:37.000 Point USA. She is dynamic, she's intense. She is 100% American. I'll tell you, I thought this speech in the room,
00:23:46.000 who was in the room when she gave this speech? Brought down the house, right? Madeline Brame, wasn't this incredible?
00:23:53.000 Her son was killed by the relaxed policies of Alvin Bragg.
00:23:57.000 Play cut 126.
00:23:58.000 The four assailants responsible for his death initially were facing justice, but that changed when District
00:24:10.000 Attorney Alvin Bragg was elected.
00:24:13.000 .
00:24:21.000 Suddenly, Two of the homicidal maniacs responsible for my son's death
00:24:29.000 had their gang assault and murder charges completely dismissed.
00:24:41.000 Let's get more clips from that because she kept on going and going and going.
00:24:45.000 Jack, let's talk about the issue of crime.
00:24:46.000 That was a big issue tonight.
00:24:48.000 I think we need to run more on the issue of being tough on crime.
00:24:52.000 Charlie, look, I remember so many people saying that You know, Trump needs to appeal to women, and he needs to choose a woman on the ticket, and there was this whole school of thought to say, that's how you bring back the suburban women, and that's how you can bring back the inner city.
00:25:09.000 Appoint a woman, nominate her, this will be how we go forward.
00:25:14.000 I would argue the way you bring back women and bring back families in this country is by showing that you will take violent crime seriously.
00:25:23.000 By the way, the same violent crime that just happened a few blocks away from here today...
00:25:31.000 That police had to deal with a stabbing incident which seeks to fan the flames.
00:25:36.000 Look, it's gotten too far.
00:25:39.000 The anarcho-tyranny has gotten so bad in America's once great cities, and Rudy Giuliani is here walking around.
00:25:48.000 Bukele has shown us that this is a solvable problem, and I think people have gotten to the point where they say, you know what?
00:25:56.000 I don't want to be so worried about the rights of the violent criminals that are terrorizing us.
00:26:03.000 What about the regular people?
00:26:05.000 I'm going to give this advice to the Trump campaign because they'll probably get a press pass or two.
00:26:11.000 When the Democrat National Committee is in Chicago, and hopefully we'll be able to do some reporting from there, the only thing they should say is, wow, the city has never been safer because there's police everywhere.
00:26:24.000 So you can make Chicago safe when a bunch of really rich Democrats come into town.
00:26:29.000 You can make Chicago a decent place.
00:26:33.000 Charlie, they should compare- What?
00:26:35.000 Yes, well, it's like San Francisco with Xi Jinping or Seattle with the All-Star Game.
00:26:39.000 All of a sudden, everything becomes nice again.
00:26:43.000 We need to run that message.
00:26:44.000 They have no counter to that.
00:26:46.000 It's what you said last night.
00:26:47.000 It's a choice.
00:26:48.000 How many murders will there be the week of the DNC in Chicago?
00:26:52.000 It'll go down dramatically.
00:26:55.000 Compare the crime statistics for the two weeks before to the two weeks during the... And people will see and know that, and they'll say, oh my goodness, widespread crime is a choice.
00:27:07.000 It is a choice to say that we want our cities to not be safe.
00:27:12.000 Madeline Brain brings the heat.
00:27:14.000 She wins my award for speech of the night, just so I'm clear.
00:27:17.000 Madeline Brain, put 127.
00:27:20.000 Donald Trump shares our values, love of God and family and country.
00:27:26.000 He's been a victim of the same corrupt system that I have been and my family has been.
00:27:40.000 He is committed to providing economic opportunities.
00:27:46.000 Helping those suffering from addiction with long-term inpatient drug programs!
00:27:56.000 Rolling back deadly bail reform policies that are getting our children killed every single day!
00:28:06.000 And supporting our police!
00:28:10.000 We back the NYPD!
00:28:13.000 We back the blue!
00:28:18.000 How great was that, everybody, right?
00:28:20.000 That was just 10 out of 10.
00:28:22.000 So, I want to just say that Madeline Brame's speech was raw, it was authentic, and you kind of take a risk with these everyday American speeches.
00:28:31.000 Sometimes they don't hit, and God bless them.
00:28:33.000 You know how hard it is to get up and give a speech?
00:28:34.000 I mean, they don't do this professionally.
00:28:36.000 And you should just cut them a bunch of slack.
00:28:37.000 By the way, I had a Daily Beast reporter come up to me, and he was like, what do you think about some of these speakers that are not hitting their lines?
00:28:42.000 I was like, are you kidding me?
00:28:45.000 Like, like, not hitting their lines?
00:28:47.000 These guys, like, it's a small business owner trying to make payroll and he has to get up in front of 15 million people.
00:28:52.000 Like, we're, like, anyway, that's just the state of American media.
00:28:55.000 We have real people instead of, well, theater kids like the Democrats all are.
00:29:00.000 And I, I, I hated this, but...
00:29:02.000 I think back to Democrat conventions, and I think we would all agree the most powerful moment of the 2016 Democrat convention was that Mr. Khan who held up the Constitution.
00:29:14.000 Do you remember that?
00:29:15.000 That my son didn't die?
00:29:17.000 Do you remember that?
00:29:18.000 Something of that variety?
00:29:19.000 Well, and of course that turned into a huge priority or huge controversy when Trump responded.
00:29:24.000 And the everyday American wrinkle really makes a convention or breaks a convention.
00:29:30.000 She crushed it.
00:29:31.000 Now whether or not the networks took it, by the way, I'm getting a lot of complaints from people that networks are cutting in and out of speeches way too much.
00:29:38.000 Right.
00:29:39.000 Oh my goodness.
00:29:40.000 No, but no.
00:29:40.000 Other networks do.
00:29:42.000 They're only taking two or three speeches, and I think that's doing a huge disservice.
00:29:47.000 When you're covering the convention, the goal should be to cover as much of the actual convention as you should.
00:29:53.000 Let them present the content.
00:29:55.000 Right, that's why, like, I don't even say this because, you know, Charlie would never say it himself, but we asked him, we said, Charlie, do we want to do a live stream?
00:30:03.000 And he said, only once everyone has finished.
00:30:08.000 That's why we're out here this late.
00:30:09.000 We're not going to talk over people.
00:30:11.000 We're not going to be doing that kind of thing.
00:30:13.000 Only when they're done.
00:30:14.000 Yeah, because here's the thing is that, first of all, every single one of those speakers worked very hard for that moment.
00:30:21.000 Number two, they're there for a reason.
00:30:22.000 They have something to present to the country.
00:30:25.000 Why would we counter-program that?
00:30:26.000 So Madeline Brame won the speech of the night.
00:30:29.000 What do you guys think?
00:30:30.000 Can you hold that up, please, that sign, Jack?
00:30:34.000 Tyler, I'll go to you.
00:30:35.000 What do you think of just the visual immediately of Trump-Vance?
00:30:38.000 Well, we said this.
00:30:39.000 Remember we were debating this?
00:30:40.000 It's the best picture.
00:30:42.000 You got the- I remember this, yeah.
00:30:43.000 Dance overtakes pants.
00:30:46.000 The five letters.
00:30:47.000 It's just- You only need- It's all the- It was the natural thing.
00:30:49.000 You only need two letters.
00:30:50.000 It's only two letters different.
00:30:51.000 If you're a marketing guru, this is it.
00:30:52.000 That is so good.
00:30:53.000 I wanna, like, take that from you.
00:30:54.000 I want it.
00:30:54.000 Did you see it going on the plane, Charlie?
00:30:57.000 I'm sure they have like a thousand of them.
00:30:58.000 Did you see it going on Trump Force 1?
00:31:00.000 No, no, no.
00:31:01.000 Did you see the footage of them putting the decals on the plane as well?
00:31:06.000 I mean, how beautiful is that everybody, right?
00:31:07.000 Is that not a ticket for America right now?
00:31:11.000 I love that.
00:31:13.000 My only note, I would have done the Vans in white.
00:31:15.000 I would have done the Vans in white.
00:31:16.000 No, I think it's good.
00:31:17.000 I think it's great.
00:31:18.000 Red on blue is a little hard to see.
00:31:20.000 No, no, I like it.
00:31:21.000 I get the red, but I get the motif.
00:31:23.000 You want Trump to be the most emphasized.
00:31:25.000 It is emphasized.
00:31:26.000 It is a Trump ticket with JD Vance.
00:31:29.000 Well, all the people who crossed out the pence on their flags, now they just have to cross out the P.E.
00:31:34.000 It's the P.E., right.
00:31:35.000 Right.
00:31:35.000 You can keep the N.C.E.
00:31:37.000 It's perfect.
00:31:37.000 Laura Trump had a very tough assignment tonight.
00:31:40.000 Laura Trump is co-chair of the RNC.
00:31:42.000 It is very hard, right, Tyler, for a co-chair or chair of the RNC to get that kind of primetime address, and she absolutely crushed it.
00:31:50.000 Well, she dominated, so she took over.
00:31:55.000 A lot of the role, because a lot of people have said, well, there's clearly less Ivanka that's involved now.
00:32:02.000 Yes.
00:32:03.000 And we got to give a ton of credit to Lara.
00:32:05.000 Lara is carrying a massive load for the Trump team, not just with the family, but at the RNC, doing a huge job as co-chair right now.
00:32:15.000 I want to say that six months ago, when we were talking about convention, we thought that the chair was going to be a lot different.
00:32:22.000 Right, Tyler?
00:32:23.000 That's right.
00:32:25.000 We were working hard.
00:32:27.000 We're in a much better place because of Laura Trump and Michael Watley.
00:32:31.000 President Trump deserves credit.
00:32:33.000 Let me give Laura Trump some well-earned credit here.
00:32:35.000 What cut is Laura Trump?
00:32:37.000 Let's play cut 122, please.
00:32:39.000 Well, it may not be a surprise that I actually had a very different speech that I was prepared to give up here tonight.
00:32:48.000 That all changed at 6-11 on Saturday evening.
00:32:54.000 Nothing prepares you for a moment like that.
00:32:59.000 Our family has faced our fair share of death threats, mysterious powders sent to our homes, tasteless and violent comments directed towards us on social media.
00:33:10.000 But none of that prepares you as a daughter-in-law to watch in real time someone try to kill a person you love.
00:33:22.000 None of that prepares you as a mother to quickly reach for the remote and turn your young children away from the screen so that they're not witness to something that scars the memory of their grandpa for the rest of their lives.
00:33:36.000 If Donald Trump has shown us anything, it's that when it feels impossible to keep going, those are the times we must keep going.
00:33:48.000 I thought that was awesome.
00:33:49.000 So Tyler, you want to take us into what if land?
00:33:52.000 I'm going to tell you right now, had the grassroots not risen up and did some things that were really important at the Republican National Committee level, this convention would be a disaster right now.
00:34:05.000 And I'm going to tell you, and again, I want to give a lot of credit to Lara.
00:34:09.000 And Donald Trump.
00:34:10.000 Well, yeah, and Donald Trump.
00:34:11.000 But Lara, we had a lot of conversations about who could be co-chair, because you have to have a female co-chair with a male chair and vice versa.
00:34:21.000 And when the discussion was there's going to be a male chair, who could be female co-chair?
00:34:25.000 Many of us said Lara is the only and best option.
00:34:30.000 And look, I mean, when you look at this convention, you say the amount of work that Lara is doing on behalf of the family, our obvious nominee, everything else, this thing looks a lot different than what it could have turned out to be.
00:34:43.000 Looks a lot different, and we're very lucky for that, and the grassroots deserves all the credit.
00:34:46.000 The grassroots deserves a ton of credit there, I agree.
00:34:50.000 I want to get to another piece of tape here of Laura Trump, but I want to also have her understand, we are only two days into this convention, and I want to do a little bit of a peekaboo tomorrow.
00:35:00.000 Tomorrow is one of the most important speeches in the history of the MAGA movement, and it is J.D.
00:35:08.000 Vance Unofficially, officially showing that the shelf life of MAGA is preserved.
00:35:16.000 In perpetuity, right?
00:35:17.000 Yes!
00:35:18.000 MAGA's not going anywhere, everybody.
00:35:19.000 And so, JD Vance's assignment tomorrow, and Blake, I want to have you comment on this.
00:35:25.000 First, his assignment is, number one, who am I?
00:35:28.000 Who's this guy with a beard who looks like, you know, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
00:35:34.000 Or somebody, you know, it could be some voter's grandson, right?
00:35:38.000 That's number one.
00:35:39.000 Number two, what does he bring to the table and is he ready to make the tough calls?
00:35:44.000 He has to come across as presidential and capable and also, yes, youthful and vibrant.
00:35:50.000 But number three, he has to paint a vision to voters and conservatives and people in the middle that this agenda, if this is the dawn of MAGA, Not the dusk of MAGA.
00:36:04.000 Blake, what do you think of that diagnosis?
00:36:07.000 He's going to come out and have to make the case, which I think he will, that the Trump era is not the era where Donald Trump, the eight years where Donald Trump is President of the United States.
00:36:17.000 The Trump era is going to be this entire, the rest of the century of the United States.
00:36:22.000 It's going to change the direction of America, of the Republican Party, of the American people, and Vance can be the man who helps carry that agenda forward for Another 40 years, hopefully.
00:36:34.000 And Jack, your anticipation.
00:36:40.000 People are also, after the assassination attempt, are understandably thinking one heartbeat away, two inches away.
00:36:48.000 And not only did that assassination attempt happen on the Saturday before the convention, But there was no VP named.
00:36:55.000 Donald Trump could have very easily been with J.D.
00:36:57.000 Vance on that stage.
00:36:59.000 And who knows?
00:37:01.000 Maybe there would have been no... There was a lot of speculation that he would be because it was so close to Ohio.
00:37:05.000 Maybe there would have been no head tilts.
00:37:06.000 Maybe two people would have gotten shot.
00:37:08.000 I mean, God forbid.
00:37:10.000 But by divine providence, we are where we are right now.
00:37:14.000 Talk about J.D.' 's tone.
00:37:17.000 It's a huge... His task tomorrow is massive.
00:37:21.000 So this is interesting because...
00:37:23.000 I was with J.D.
00:37:24.000 Vance at his NatCon address last week in Washington, D.C.
00:37:29.000 And so that was, interestingly enough, the final speech he will ever give before he became the vice presidential nominee and, of course, our next vice president.
00:37:40.000 But that was the last speech he gave, and he laid out it was all policy.
00:37:45.000 It was strong.
00:37:47.000 But he also knew at the time That it might happen, and so he laid out a vision for the country that was very different than you hear from your sort of typical mainstream Republican, typical mainstream politician.
00:38:03.000 And I think it's an interesting vision, and he talked about how We have to stop talking about America as a figment or America as this abstract concept, but that America is an actual place with an actual people and an actual group with a shared culture and a shared heritage and a shared identity and a place that must be preserved
00:38:32.000 For all of the people who are there and that was it was it was so incredible to hear because Biden had made the exact opposite pitch at the debate forcefully and to hear him do that and watch an incredible crowd at NatCon put it over.
00:38:48.000 This is going to be the speech tomorrow night and if history works out that everyone remembers you know Going into the future, they'll say that was the speech that set up his future career, his future presidential run.
00:39:03.000 That's what the stakes are for J.D.
00:39:05.000 Vance tomorrow.
00:39:07.000 Charlie, I'll say this too.
00:39:08.000 What my perspective on J.D.
00:39:10.000 is he's an incredible mascot.
00:39:13.000 I think to piggyback on what you're saying.
00:39:16.000 Like an avatar.
00:39:17.000 He's like an avatar.
00:39:18.000 He's like a mascot for America.
00:39:20.000 Yes.
00:39:21.000 And he's a mascot for manhood.
00:39:22.000 Because again, to reiterate what we said yesterday, you've got, this is Trump-Vance versus Kamala.
00:39:29.000 Biden's done.
00:39:30.000 He's not going to make it six months into the next administration.
00:39:35.000 There's no way.
00:39:36.000 This is Trump-Vance versus Kamala.
00:39:39.000 So this is manhood versus Kamala.
00:39:41.000 This is Americanism versus Kamala.
00:39:44.000 This is everything is on the table against Kamala.
00:39:48.000 And I love JD for what you're saying is that he represents.
00:39:54.000 America, for what it is, not a thing, not an idea for a place.
00:39:58.000 It's not abstract.
00:39:59.000 Wait until Hillbilly Elegy.
00:40:01.000 Wait until Hillbilly Elegy comes into play and we actually have Kamala Harris try to present her What is her story?
00:40:10.000 Her story is, I got elected and I went over here... Well, we know her story.
00:40:15.000 We know her story!
00:40:17.000 We want to talk about her story more!
00:40:19.000 That guy with the Jeffrey Epstein shirt can probably tell that part of the story.
00:40:22.000 I want to summarize this, guys, because it's almost midnight on the East Coast.
00:40:25.000 And as a reminder for our viewers here, we are streaming five or six hours a day.
00:40:29.000 The tech team is working their tails off.
00:40:31.000 If you're at home and you feel compelled to want to support our team, our gang here, go to members.charliekirk.com.
00:40:36.000 You get a copy of the Never Surrender shirt.
00:40:39.000 Also, I think we're doing hat giveaways later in the week, but this one right now, it is, can you show that up on screen?
00:40:44.000 It's members.charliekirk.com.
00:40:46.000 That is members.charliekirk.com, if you guys can show that up on screen.
00:40:51.000 So really, all eyes are on tomorrow.
00:40:53.000 I don't sit and wait for any speeches.
00:40:55.000 I am going to literally pull rank and call in a favor.
00:40:58.000 I want to be front row.
00:41:00.000 When J.D.
00:41:01.000 Vance hits that stage.
00:41:02.000 I'm sorry, I'm going to be right there.
00:41:04.000 100%.
00:41:05.000 That's the speech that I'm going to be right there, smack dab.
00:41:10.000 I mean, because that's a speech that I could not have dreamed nine months ago.
00:41:14.000 And there was an amazing New York Times article where it's like J.D.' 's name was voted for VP in January.
00:41:20.000 He thought it was a joke.
00:41:21.000 He was like, me?
00:41:22.000 VP?
00:41:22.000 What?
00:41:23.000 And it's incredible that Donald Trump made this just courageous move.
00:41:29.000 I think that America is going to be buzzing about this political talent who is raw, authentic.
00:41:37.000 It could be a turning point.
00:41:42.000 He would be the first Marine to serve as Vice President or President in American history.
00:41:47.000 Again, the hillbilly elegy is amazing.
00:41:50.000 No one can say, oh, you don't understand what it's like.
00:41:53.000 He grew up in rural poverty, a form of poverty that is largely forgotten because people only really think about urban poverty in this country.
00:42:01.000 So we're going to see what he does, but I don't want to build the expectations too high, but I'm going to be honest.
00:42:08.000 I'll tell you, he is going to crush it.
00:42:10.000 He's going to deliver it.
00:42:11.000 That place will be electric, and America is going to say, wow, we have an 81-year-old president, a 78-year-old former president, a 59-year-old current vice president, and now a 39-year-old VP.
00:42:23.000 Whoa!
00:42:26.000 As Blake said, do the math again.
00:42:27.000 I love this line.
00:42:28.000 We're going to have two J.D.
00:42:29.000 Vance's and it's still younger than Joe Biden.
00:42:33.000 Come on!
00:42:34.000 How good is that?
00:42:35.000 Vance plus J.D.
00:42:35.000 J.D.
00:42:36.000 Vance is still younger than Joe Biden.
00:42:39.000 With a few years of change.
00:42:43.000 Charlie, J.D.' 's family too.
00:42:48.000 I'm excited to be right there with you front row on J.D.
00:42:50.000 too.
00:42:53.000 J.D.' 's family's beautiful.
00:42:55.000 So he has a beautiful family.
00:42:57.000 She clerked for Roberts.
00:42:59.000 She's so smart.
00:43:01.000 She's a mother of three.
00:43:03.000 One of their kids is named Vivek, which is hilarious.
00:43:05.000 No, it's true.
00:43:06.000 One of their boys is named Vivek.
00:43:09.000 So I hope she comes out with him at some point.
00:43:11.000 I hope that there is an entrance because that shows in so many ways she's an Indian American so it kind of dispels this whole kind of you know stigma about the Republican Party right then and there.
00:43:23.000 So anything else?
00:43:25.000 I think that JD also needs to lean into the violation of the social contract.
00:43:30.000 That there's a social contract that has been largely accepted in America That kids do better than their parents.
00:43:36.000 Tomorrow, if he leans in, that that contract has been broken, and he wants to reinstitute it, that's a winner.
00:43:41.000 He can be a voice for so many different groups.
00:43:46.000 He's a veteran.
00:43:47.000 He's a war veteran, by the way.
00:43:49.000 He's a dad.
00:43:50.000 He is a believer.
00:43:53.000 He's a Christian.
00:43:54.000 And for the idea of him coming from The place where he came from and that's that's been my only note to his team throughout all of this is lean in on Hillbilly Elegy.
00:44:07.000 Go back to your roots.
00:44:09.000 Tell the story of JD Vance and I could Charlie I could see it in his eye yesterday when he walked he didn't speak yesterday but he walked on the floor and I was there with producer Andrew and he came out And you could see he was so choked up, and you could tell in his mind he was going back to those days of growing up in rural Appalachia, dealing with, and he's been very open about this, a family with substance abuse.
00:44:37.000 Rising above that, pulling himself up, getting out of it, but then going back to help the people who were still there.
00:44:45.000 That's the story.
00:44:47.000 I want to flag that as something important.
00:44:48.000 So he has all those factors we've mentioned, but he's actually, somewhat unexpectedly, like Trump, he's actually a class traitor, because he went to Yale Law School, he went to Silicon Valley, he was in elite Finance, venture capital stuff.
00:45:04.000 He could have easily been a mascot for why all these things are great and I'm glad I left all of that behind.
00:45:10.000 And instead, he turns around and embraces this agenda.
00:45:13.000 And you can really sense that when you read profiles of him in, you know, left-wing mainstream rags.
00:45:19.000 They often harp upon this.
00:45:21.000 They're like, why did JD Vance become this way?
00:45:24.000 Well, tomorrow we'll see why.
00:45:25.000 And you can see his like former roommates and is like, this guy at Yale is like, I don't
00:45:29.000 I can't understand why he would do this.
00:45:31.000 This is terrible.
00:45:33.000 And you could you could see that.
00:45:34.000 And they've mentioned a few times that JD felt that they were pushing him to be this
00:45:41.000 sort of like Trump whisperer, but also the dispeller.
00:45:45.000 You know, he's just explained.
00:45:46.000 And this was this was what we get from MSNBC.
00:45:49.000 Remember white rural rage.
00:45:51.000 It's the party of white rural rage.
00:45:54.000 And I think honestly, JD was like, you know what?
00:45:57.000 Screw you, because I'm not that's not what this is about.
00:46:01.000 It's not about hating somebody because of their race.
00:46:04.000 It's about loving people that you grew up with, about loving this country, and wanting to do something for people that everyone has forgotten about.
00:46:12.000 I want to reiterate something that is incredibly important.
00:46:16.000 That given the assassination attempt, a lot of people are now focusing on the VP more so than I think in any other It's in people's front of mind.
00:46:23.000 It's in what's happening.
00:46:25.000 And let's be honest, what percentage of the country, Jack, of people actually have a strong opinion about JD Vance?
00:46:33.000 Less than 3%?
00:46:34.000 Hyper political people do.
00:46:34.000 Really?
00:46:34.000 He's not well known yet.
00:46:36.000 So it's sort of interesting, right?
00:46:38.000 Hyper political people, dude.
00:46:39.000 So his movie did extremely well on Netflix.
00:46:44.000 Really?
00:46:44.000 It did.
00:46:45.000 But then when he sort of got into politics and went pro-Trump, they just totally
00:46:50.000 pulled it from everywhere.
00:46:51.000 They shut it all down.
00:46:52.000 It shut it all down.
00:46:53.000 Shut it all down.
00:46:54.000 Yeah, the puff pieces, the promo.
00:46:56.000 Keep in mind, Amy Adams was in this.
00:47:00.000 Glenn Close played his grandmother in this.
00:47:03.000 This huge Hollywood all-star cast.
00:47:06.000 Yes.
00:47:07.000 And then just disappears.
00:47:09.000 Completely.
00:47:10.000 I hope he actually mentions Hillbilly Elegy in the speech.
00:47:13.000 Yes.
00:47:13.000 To connect the dots.
00:47:14.000 To connect it.
00:47:15.000 So people say, oh, that's the guy!
00:47:17.000 Well, Charlie, let me tell you this.
00:47:18.000 I was having a conversation with somebody who Who knows?
00:47:24.000 No, no, no.
00:47:24.000 I've texted a bunch of them, too.
00:47:26.000 That was like, knows us and follows politics.
00:47:30.000 And I pointed out to them and I said, yeah, we watched that movie.
00:47:33.000 And they were like, what do you mean?
00:47:35.000 You watched that movie a couple years ago.
00:47:37.000 I said, oh wait, that's J.D.
00:47:39.000 Vance?
00:47:40.000 And it was like, the connection wasn't made.
00:47:43.000 And that connection, when done, is next level.
00:47:45.000 That's what takes it all next level.
00:47:47.000 That kid who grew up with his mama and was beaten and abused and abandoned is now poised to be the next Vice President of the United States.
00:47:54.000 And let's be honest, J.D.
00:47:56.000 Vance, again, is a category of the most forgotten underclass, which is white, rural Appalachia.
00:48:03.000 When people think of poverty, they don't think of that community.
00:48:07.000 And they have been forgotten.
00:48:08.000 And so, you know, we always think of, okay, a rags-to-riches story, okay?
00:48:13.000 Rarely do we have seen in American politics a rags-to-riches rural poverty story, have we?
00:48:19.000 In the recent era?
00:48:21.000 That's a deep point, isn't it?
00:48:24.000 Not for a hundred years, Charlie.
00:48:27.000 Well, Tim Scott is North Charleston.
00:48:30.000 Clarence Thomas, but not Appalachia.
00:48:34.000 VP and President.
00:48:35.000 Again, I'm not trying to racialize it.
00:48:36.000 I'm just saying, though, that it's a thing, right?
00:48:40.000 And I think it's important that we, because, you know, they talk about Cory Booker or Obama or whatever.
00:48:44.000 It is the ultimate rags to riches American Dream story.
00:48:47.000 Okay, in closing here guys, so Vance tomorrow, we're going to be covering it closely.
00:48:51.000 I might be late to the stream tomorrow because I'm going to be front row.
00:48:54.000 I'm going to do as much interviews as I can.
00:48:57.000 By the way, can we get a shirt?
00:48:58.000 Can we buy a shirt?
00:49:00.000 There's got to be somebody selling shirts around here.
00:49:05.000 Reminder guys, members.charliekirk.com to support the stream.
00:49:08.000 Let's go around the horn.
00:49:09.000 Blake, final thoughts on a great day at the RNC?
00:49:12.000 The party's unified, and tomorrow we'll see just how unified and excited it can be.
00:49:17.000 Everything is ten times as electric because of an event that... Let's remind you, it's only about 80 hours ago that the attempt happened.
00:49:25.000 Not even 100 hours have passed.
00:49:27.000 It's just hard to believe.
00:49:29.000 It's hard to grasp.
00:49:30.000 By the way, I love the nightly WWE entrances where he's just kind of just walking in.
00:49:35.000 Have you seen the memes?
00:49:36.000 UFC?
00:49:37.000 Have you seen the memes?
00:49:38.000 They're taking those and putting like the WWF logos on it.
00:49:42.000 You know, previously on Raw.
00:49:44.000 I just, I love that.
00:49:45.000 Tyler, final thoughts?
00:49:46.000 We've got our party here tomorrow.
00:49:49.000 For all our Gen Z TikTokers, we got our Sigma 47 shirts that are going to be here.
00:49:55.000 Sigma Trump.
00:49:56.000 So we're going to go.
00:49:57.000 I'm going to try to get the VP to stop by.
00:49:59.000 We'll see.
00:49:59.000 Yeah, let's do it.
00:50:00.000 We'll see.
00:50:01.000 Let's do it.
00:50:02.000 And everyone needs to go out and watch Hillbillyology.
00:50:05.000 There's one piece that I do have to say, though.
00:50:08.000 I understand Trump has a halo effect right now.
00:50:10.000 He does.
00:50:11.000 We can all see it.
00:50:13.000 That will dissipate.
00:50:14.000 Complacency is the greatest threat right now.
00:50:18.000 Because we have to remember that all of this unity and all of this goodwill goes away if we do not attain victory.
00:50:25.000 Victory must come first.
00:50:28.000 Unity through victory.
00:50:29.000 Unite the country behind this team.
00:50:32.000 Fight!
00:50:36.000 Here is the good news of modern politics, is that in modern politics with higher turnout and with mass mail-in voting, you have to, you cannot have base decay, right Tyler?
00:50:47.000 The Democrats currently have base decay.
00:50:50.000 70% of Democrats wish they had a different candidate.
00:50:53.000 Less than 15% of Republicans wish that we had a different candidate.
00:50:56.000 They can win anything they want at any time.
00:50:57.000 And that number will go down as this week continues.
00:51:00.000 The more Nikki, the more DeSantis, the more Vance, the more Republicans kind of come home.
00:51:05.000 It really solidifies that.
00:51:06.000 J.D.
00:51:07.000 Vance can run up the score in Western Pennsylvania, and he's going to be able to open the door to Gen Z and millennials in an epic and historic way.
00:51:15.000 Reminder, members.charliekirk.com.
00:51:17.000 I want to show one more thing here, which I think is important.
00:51:19.000 I just have gratitude to God.
00:51:21.000 Can we put up this picture that I sent, please?
00:51:23.000 In one shot, Tyler.
00:51:25.000 Is it a picture of Laura Trump, Donald Trump, and JD Vance?
00:51:30.000 Yes.
00:51:32.000 Six months ago.
00:51:36.000 What is going on?
00:51:37.000 No one would have believed that was possible a year ago, and today you're looking at a
00:51:43.000 much healthier trajectory for the Republican Party.
00:51:46.000 Look at that picture, that picture right there.
00:51:48.000 You got Laura Trump, Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, and a split screen of course.
00:51:52.000 Six months ago, we did not know who the nominee was going to be.
00:51:55.000 We suspected Trump obviously, but the indictments were a thing, right?
00:51:57.000 There was no VP.
00:51:58.000 The RNC was broke.
00:51:59.000 And the RNC was broke not raising money with a completely different chair.
00:52:03.000 Charlie, there were conversations about a rule change to the RNC to say that a convicted felon wouldn't be allowed to receive the nominee.
00:52:11.000 We remember all these threats coming up and the previous situation was allowing those threats to come up.
00:52:20.000 Now, now, there's no question.
00:52:24.000 The situation has changed for the better.
00:52:28.000 Tyler, what were you doing today?
00:52:30.000 We were training ballot chasers in Waukesha.
00:52:32.000 Let's go!
00:52:34.000 Literally today, Tyler was onboarding new full-time bodies to go chase ballots here in the state of Wisconsin.
00:52:40.000 How awesome is that?
00:52:41.000 New full-time ballot chasers.
00:52:43.000 And if you guys are inspired watching at home, say, I want to chip in.
00:52:46.000 It's members.charliekirk.com.
00:52:48.000 Members.charliekirk.com.
00:52:49.000 We are in a wonderful place.
00:52:51.000 Glory be to God.
00:52:52.000 I have gratitude for the leadership that is now in place.
00:52:55.000 And what is the proper reaction, Tyler?
00:52:57.000 To work your ass off and work like hell.
00:53:00.000 Yes!
00:53:00.000 harder than ever before. But let me also say, Joe Biden is going full populist right now,
00:53:04.000 right, Blake? Joe Biden is doing student loan forgiveness, 5% capping of rates. Joe Biden
00:53:09.000 is running like a Bernie Sanders. He's in Supreme Court term limits. That is going to
00:53:13.000 be, right, tricky. Did we not call this, Jack?
00:53:16.000 We kept saying they are going to try to roll out based Biden.
00:53:20.000 And it's going to be Biden versus the machine, Biden for the people, Biden against the elites.
00:53:26.000 And we said this last night that there is going to be a populism arms race that's going on now.
00:53:33.000 And you can see this.
00:53:34.000 Do not sleep on this race.
00:53:36.000 The polling will tighten.
00:53:38.000 The Democrats still have their convention.
00:53:40.000 The propaganda arm will be in full force.
00:53:42.000 We will win or lose based on the blood, sweat, tears, and toil that you put into the boring stuff in July and August.
00:53:50.000 While they're fighting, we're registering voters.
00:53:52.000 I got it, yeah.
00:53:53.000 While they're bickering, we chase ballots.
00:53:55.000 Jeff?
00:53:55.000 I got an email in from Stephen K. Bannon.
00:53:59.000 I don't know if you guys know a guy named Steve Bannon.
00:54:03.000 And I got an email from him, and I was asking about Free Bannon, of course.
00:54:08.000 And I was telling him, you know, giving him the updates, kind of giving him the play-by-play, the inside baseball.
00:54:13.000 And I talked about this idea of complacency, and he sent me back one line.
00:54:18.000 You want to know what Steve Bannon said?
00:54:19.000 There is no substitute for victory.
00:54:23.000 Gotta win.
00:54:24.000 And that means we should work even harder.
00:54:26.000 Guys, I have lived around Republican politics where everyone has a problem with the ticket and all this.
00:54:31.000 I have never had lower patience for people complaining about a presidential ticket as Trump Vance.
00:54:37.000 Somebody sent me a message today, I was like literally lose my number.
00:54:40.000 If you have a problem with Trump Vance, you have serious problems as a conservative, right?
00:54:45.000 I mean if you have a problem with this, To go take back the country?
00:54:48.000 It's a you problem, not a them problem.
00:54:50.000 And you should leave the country if you're a conservative.
00:54:53.000 I mean that.
00:54:56.000 There's nothing that is good enough for you.
00:54:58.000 Charlie Kirk, go off.
00:54:59.000 Charlie Kirk, go off.
00:55:00.000 At this point, you're like, oh, Trump-Vance isn't sufficiently conservative enough for me?
00:55:04.000 Yeah.
00:55:04.000 Go chase ballots, become a member.
00:55:06.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:55:08.000 And we have a united party, and I couldn't be more thankful.
00:55:11.000 Laura Trump, J.D.
00:55:13.000 Vance, Donald Trump.
00:55:14.000 What a time to be alive.
00:55:15.000 Fight!
00:55:20.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
