He also discusses why he doesn t believe that Joe Biden should be allowed to run for President in 2020, and what he would do if he was the next President of the United States, and how he would have handled the situation if he were in the position to choose who he s running for President next year. 00:01:32.000 I promised I was going to get this guy on the program.
00:01:34.000 He is a great American.
00:01:35.000 It's Pastor Lorenzo Sewell.
00:01:37.000 He hosted President Donald Trump at his Detroit church, and he was a main stage speaker.
00:01:42.000 Pastor, welcome to the program.
00:01:43.000 I want to play part of your incredible speech last evening.
00:01:46.000 You brought it down.
00:01:47.000 Let's go to 2.13.
00:01:49.000 President Trump came to a church that is in a democratic stronghold.
00:01:56.000 He came to a church to listen to average, everyday Americans like you and like me.
00:02:05.000 He came to a church not to speak to us, but to listen to us.
00:02:11.000 He came into a church and a lot of people, they were upset.
00:02:15.000 A lot of people, they would ask me questions.
00:02:18.000 Why would you allow Donald Trump to come into your church?
00:02:24.000 How many know that the Bible says we are all sinners and we all need the grace of God?
00:02:30.000 How many know that the Bible says, he who has not sinned, let him pass the first stone.
00:02:36.000 It's beautiful.
00:02:38.000 Pastor, welcome to the program.
00:02:39.000 Pastor, you were incredible.
00:02:40.000 I want to play more tape as we proceed.
00:02:42.000 Introduce yourself to the audience.
00:02:43.000 Pastor, great job.
00:02:45.000 Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, Charlie, I am so holy ghost happy to be here with you today, man.
00:02:50.000 You are a blessing.
00:02:51.000 I was able to listen to some of your content, and I'm so grateful for your movement, what you're doing on college campuses.
00:02:57.000 The only thing I don't like about this show is the fact that you had your thing going on when he came to our church in Detroit, and he went off to your amazing event at the Huntington Place, man.
00:03:07.000 I'm so grateful to be here with you today.
00:03:11.000 Yeah, Pastor, you were terrific.
00:03:14.000 I want to play just another piece of tape here from that speech.
00:03:17.000 Let's play cut 214, please.
00:03:20.000 President Donald Trump, he came during his birthday weekend.
00:03:25.000 Let me ask you a question.
00:03:27.000 Grand old party, what would you do for your birthday if you were worth $6.7 billion?
00:03:33.000 What would you do for your birthday?
00:03:35.000 Would you come to Detroit?
00:03:37.000 Would you come into the hood hood?
00:03:39.000 He came to the hood because he cares about average, everyday Americans.
00:03:53.000 Awesome.
00:03:53.000 Pastor, tell us about that experience you had with President Trump in Detroit.
00:03:57.000 It was amazing, man.
00:03:58.000 I mean, I was really humbled that he would, first of all, call us.
00:04:01.000 We're in a place that disenfranchised.
00:04:03.000 Charlie has pushed aside a place where people can't read, write, do math.
00:04:08.000 Quite frankly, a place that had been a Democratic stronghold For six decades, and for him to be willing to come and to listen, to do a roundtable.
00:04:18.000 You had veterans there, entrepreneurs, preachers, teachers.
00:04:22.000 You had drug dealers that were converted into businessmen because they found out that they were actually Republicans and not Democrats.
00:04:30.000 I mean, these are real stories of real Americans.
00:04:33.000 And I know that the liberal media said, well, there were nothing but white people there.
00:04:36.000 Well, they weren't there, right?
00:04:37.000 You had about 70% of Black Americans there.
00:04:40.000 You had volunteers, obviously, that were my Caucasian family.
00:04:44.000 But at the end of the day, it was amazing to see him listen.
00:04:48.000 He didn't come to have a rally.
00:04:50.000 He didn't come to preach.
00:04:51.000 He came to listen.
00:04:53.000 And Charlie, I was so humbled that he would be willing To actually listen to the logins and the aspirations of people that are forgotten, people that are listened to.
00:05:01.000 Joe Biden didn't come.
00:05:03.000 Barack Obama didn't come to our hood.
00:05:05.000 They wouldn't give us the time of day because they take our votes for granted, quite frankly.
00:05:08.000 But President Donald Trump, I believe, changed the very trajectory of the Republican Party by willing to be present.
00:05:15.000 Because a lot of Republicans in our context who are Black Americans don't come to our communities.
00:05:20.000 But he came to set a new precedent of what that grand old party could be.
00:05:25.000 Pastor, you spent a whole week at the RNC around Amazing Patriots.
00:05:31.000 What was your impression?
00:05:32.000 Is this a party of racists and fascists and bigots, Pastor?
00:05:37.000 You know, that kills me.
00:05:38.000 I love that, right?
00:05:39.000 I love when my Democratic friends, you know, they give me a call and they say, well, the Republicans are racist.
00:05:43.000 They started systemic racism.
00:05:45.000 You know, the Republicans are a party that doesn't want black people in it.
00:05:50.000 The first thing I ask them is, do you know how the Republican Party started?
00:05:53.000 Do you know that over 170 years ago that a group of patriots stood up to come against the Kansas-Nevada Act?
00:05:59.000 I asked them, if you do believe in systemic racism, I asked them, well, how did that start?
00:06:05.000 And then I asked my Black Democratic friends, I asked them about what's the most dangerous place for a Black child?
00:06:12.000 And a lot of them don't know.
00:06:13.000 A lot of them think it's actually on the streets where we serve, the streets of Detroit, Pontiac, Flint, and Saginaw.
00:06:18.000 They don't know that the most dangerous place, Charlie, for a black child actually is in a black woman's womb.
00:06:24.000 They don't know about Planned Parenthood and how they strategically have a plan because of their founder, who is a eugenicist, who believe, really, that black lives don't matter.
00:06:33.000 And you know, while I'm talking about this subject, I just want to tell you, that grand old party that I spent time with this week, it was amazing.
00:06:40.000 We were embraced, we were loved, we were given opportunities, because that's what the Republican Party has always been about.
00:06:46.000 Every black patriot That has been a part of changing the trajectory of our country.
00:06:51.000 They were Black Republican.
00:06:53.000 And it's just removed out of our history books.
00:06:55.000 Nobody wants to talk about it.
00:06:56.000 They want to play identity politics.
00:06:58.000 They want to play Signu virtually and act like, you know, they're actually standing up for Black people.
00:07:03.000 If Black Lives Matter cares so much about Black people, why aren't they protesting our schools that are teaching our children?
00:07:10.000 Why aren't they protesting those that are happening in our community that are actually shooting our people?
00:07:16.000 Why aren't they protesting that?
00:07:17.000 So, this week was amazing.
00:07:19.000 I love seeing you and spending time with so many amazing patriots.
00:07:22.000 So Pastor, moving forward, Philadelphia, Detroit, Milwaukee have sizable black populations and they are going to be determinative of who wins this election.
00:07:31.000 What does President Trump need to do to contrast his agenda versus Biden or Kamala Harris moving into the last phase of this campaign?
00:07:40.000 He needs to be willing to do what he did with me.
00:07:42.000 He needs to reach out to Black pastors and Black leaders, and I want to help, right?
00:07:47.000 I mean, I want to be the guy.
00:07:48.000 I want to go.
00:07:49.000 I want to talk to Black leaders.
00:07:50.000 I know I have to do it typically offline, because what the Democrats have done so strategically Is they work with Black leaders, and no one ever asks the good questions.
00:08:01.000 And then Black people make decisions to vote based on relationship, based on relational equity, not based on the facts.
00:08:11.000 So what I want to do is, I want to lay the agenda out.
00:08:14.000 I want to tell Black folks, look, just walk outside.
00:08:17.000 You don't have to go far.
00:08:18.000 Just walk outside.
00:08:19.000 And then if you can make it to your local gas station, if you can make it to your grocery store, then I want to ask you a question.
00:08:25.000 Who has led your community, right?
00:08:28.000 And then lay out President Donald Trump's agenda, which he's laid out to me in terms of his platinum plan and what he wants to do for black churches, black entrepreneurs.
00:08:36.000 Lay that out so they can make an intelligent decision.
00:08:39.000 We need to look past a man and see a mission.
00:08:41.000 We need to look past politics and see the platform of the Republican Party.
00:08:47.000 Pastor, you are incredible.
00:08:48.000 How can people support you and get behind the work you are doing?
00:08:51.000 Thank you so much.
00:08:52.000 You should go to 180church.cc.
00:08:56.000 180church.cc.
00:08:58.000 And we just started a new platform called Politics and the Pulpit.
00:09:02.000 I will be preaching about how the Bible is a political book starting this Sunday.
00:09:06.000 We have our all on our platforms.
00:09:09.000 We have Politics and the Pulpit and also 180church.cc.
00:09:15.000 So Pastor, we have a Believer's Summit coming up next week in Palm Beach.
00:09:19.000 I'm going to have our team reach out to you.
00:09:20.000 We'd love to have you attend and bring your family.
00:09:23.000 So we're going to reach out offline here.
00:09:25.000 We have a Believer's Summit in Palm Beach, Florida with over 2,000 believers and Christians from across the country.
00:09:31.000 We'd love to have you come share your heart, if you can make it with that teaching as well.
00:09:34.000 We are right on the same page here, Pastor.
00:09:37.000 You have the joy of the Lord.
00:09:38.000 You exude it.
00:09:39.000 And Pastor, thank you for your courage, for your focus, your determination.
00:09:44.000 And I know you agree, Pastor, The Lord has his hand on Donald Trump, this country, and our movement.
00:09:49.000 God bless you, Pastor.
00:09:50.000 Hope to see you in Palm Beach next week.
00:09:52.000 Okay?
00:09:52.000 Thank you.
00:09:53.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:09:53.000 God bless you.
00:09:57.000 How many books, how many articles, how many news segments have people called us as right-wing patriots, conspiracy theorists?
00:10:07.000 How many times?
00:10:09.000 Well, we were right about the vaccine.
00:10:10.000 We were right about lockdowns, right about Ukraine, right about the border, right about Hunter Biden laptop.
00:10:15.000 Who are really the ones that have lost their mind?
00:10:18.000 By the way, conspiracy theorists is a CIA-created term to try to stop and stifle dissent.
00:10:24.000 According to the morning consult, over one-third of registered Democrats believe that Trump staged his own assassination attempt.
00:10:40.000 This should be one of the biggest stories in the country.
00:10:42.000 Now, I know we have a lot of big stories right now.
00:10:44.000 You got the Vice President, you got Trump getting shot, you got Secret Service failures, which we're going to keep on diving into, unafraid.
00:10:51.000 One third of registered Democrats believe Donald Trump staged an assassination attempt.
00:10:57.000 These are the same people who took six booster shots.
00:11:00.000 How do we get to a place like this?
00:11:03.000 Where one out of three of registered Democrats, after Donald Trump gets shot and survives a shooting, they think that he's faking it.
00:11:14.000 Well, it's very simple.
00:11:15.000 It's because there have been members of the media that are encouraging this.
00:11:20.000 And one despicable human being who should be fired from her job and should be no longer in decent or polite society is the race lady Joy Reid.
00:11:32.000 Joy Reid has now done a selfie video saying that we don't know if Donald Trump was actually shot.
00:11:38.000 Could you imagine if I even alluded to something like this?
00:11:41.000 My life would be obliterated.
00:11:43.000 Every advertiser would leave.
00:11:44.000 But this is mainstream on MSNBC.
00:11:47.000 The same people, by the way, that spend all their time... Oh!
00:11:49.000 QAnon!
00:11:50.000 Conspiracy theorists!
00:11:52.000 And Joy Reid is saying, we don't even know if Donald Trump got shot and they let him stage a photo op.
00:11:59.000 She's a evil person.
00:12:01.000 I don't say that lightly.
00:12:02.000 This is a disgusting human being who should not be allowed on television.
00:12:07.000 This is a person that has deep mental problems.
00:12:10.000 Play cut to 16.
00:12:12.000 We still don't know for sure whether Donald Trump was hit by a bullet, whether he was hit by glass fragments, whether he was hit by shrapnel.
00:12:22.000 We don't have those details.
00:12:24.000 We actually have no details from his physician, even though this man is still a Secret Service protected presidential candidate.
00:12:34.000 We know almost nothing.
00:12:36.000 What is the actual injury to Donald Trump's ear that's under that bandage?
00:12:40.000 Shouldn't we know that by now?
00:12:42.000 It's weird.
00:12:44.000 Wow.
00:12:47.000 First of all, a guy died, so yes, there were real bullets.
00:12:50.000 Secondly, Doug Mills from the New York Times has a picture of the bullet flying in midair.
00:12:54.000 Thirdly, you could watch the video in slow motion and he has, ah, and he puts up up against the ear.
00:13:00.000 Where was the glass that was broken, Joy Reid?
00:13:04.000 It's been more than a day since Joy Reid suggested Donald Trump is lying about being shot in the ear.
00:13:09.000 But Reid did a lot more than that.
00:13:11.000 She all but accused the Secret Service of collaborating with Trump to kill a fake assassin and an innocent bystander so that Trump could have a nice photo op.
00:13:20.000 If I wildly accused the Democrat nominee, Kamala Harris, of conspiring to murder innocent people for a photograph, I'd be hit with boycotts and my friends would make me visit a psychiatrist.
00:13:32.000 I don't, Blake would like run into the studio and say, stop broadcasting.
00:13:35.000 They'd start like pulling out wires.
00:13:38.000 And he should, because that's, that's, that's lunacy.
00:13:42.000 But MSNBC hasn't done anything.
00:13:45.000 Why are they keeping this mentally unstable nut job on air?
00:13:50.000 The Trump family and a secret service detail should sue.
00:13:56.000 And this, she is not alone.
00:13:57.000 There are other members of the media that are parroting the same thing.
00:14:01.000 And now we have a poll.
00:14:02.000 One out of three of people that are going to the Democrat convention in Chicago, one out of three believe that Donald Trump faked getting shot.
00:14:15.000 We have said for quite some time that at the base of neurotic leftism are mental problems.
00:14:21.000 This is really sick stuff, everybody.
00:14:24.000 You would think that when a president gets shot, Democrats are like, okay, we're going to take it off.
00:14:28.000 Instead, they are going full deep into the most fringe, crazy theories that one can put.
00:14:36.000 So I'm going to send this.
00:14:37.000 How does one fake his own shooting?
00:14:40.000 Exactly.
00:14:41.000 How does that work?
00:14:43.000 You fake your own shooting?
00:14:44.000 In fact, Reid Hoffman, senior advisor, said this happens in Russia all the time.
00:14:48.000 No evidence of that whatsoever.
00:14:51.000 There is no reasoning with these people.
00:14:53.000 Not at all.
00:14:54.000 It's clearly on video.
00:14:55.000 He gets shot.
00:14:57.000 And yes, Joy Reid, those of us that know Trump have seen the ear, and it's pretty bad.
00:15:03.000 It was a bullet that did that.
00:15:05.000 A man died.
00:15:07.000 You should get on social media and demand the firing and termination and humiliation of the race lady mentally ill patient named Joy Reed.
00:15:19.000 You might have heard Mike Lindell and MyPillow no longer have the support of their box stores or shopping channels the way they used to.

00:16:21.000 We missed you in Milwaukee, my friend.
00:16:24.000 Yeah, it's nice to talk to the hardest working man in Republican media and politics, Charlie.
00:16:31.000 You guys had some great guests.
00:16:35.000 You had some great guests.
00:16:36.000 I want to say quickly, you know, Charlie, for choosing the Republican American first basketball team, right?
00:16:43.000 I sort of, I watched these interviews, you know, and when you do the standup interviews, it helps me sort of choose the 10 guys we want on that team.
00:16:51.000 You know, I heard you with, I saw you with Corey Mills up there when he said he was 5'9 and wanted the box.
00:16:57.000 And you mentioned that the media calls you 5'11".
00:17:01.000 Having stood between you and Andrew at the People's Convention in Detroit, I can tell mainstream media, you are not 5'11".
00:17:11.000 Charlie, for people who wonder, he's every bit of 6'4".
00:17:13.000 Is that right, Charlie?
00:17:15.000 Is that my guess?
00:17:17.000 6'4", 6'5", depending on the shoes.
00:17:19.000 I don't focus my height so much that, except if people say I'm like 6'1", you're just lying, right?
00:17:24.000 I mean, Cain, in no universe am I 6'1".
00:17:26.000 Not even close.
00:17:29.000 I was gonna say 6'5", actually.
00:17:32.000 You know, I saw Byron Donalds.
00:17:33.000 I think, you know, he's got the height to play.
00:17:35.000 You know, you wouldn't think it.
00:17:37.000 I'm pushing 5'9", 5'10", but I'm quick, man.
00:17:40.000 And I grew up on the court, on the hardwood in Southern Indiana, so I bring some ball skills.
00:17:46.000 But yeah, it was fun watching you guys.
00:17:49.000 You know, your show was, it was part politics and part stand-up comedy, just the way they had you sort of peering out over, you know, over the outside of the RNC.
00:18:00.000 And it was really fun to watch.
00:18:01.000 It was good to watch you in that environment.
00:18:04.000 Thank you.
00:18:04.000 And that was just a little bit of our taste.
00:18:07.000 I kid you not, a day at the RNC, Get up around 7.30 or 8.
00:18:12.000 Interviews, interviews, meetings, interviews, selfies, interviews, interviews, meetings, selfies, donors, interviews, meetings, two hours of the show, and then interviews, meetings, selfies.
00:18:20.000 I literally, we would walk five or six miles a day, and then we would be on the floor.
00:18:24.000 I liked going on the floor.
00:18:26.000 It was amazing.
00:18:28.000 Most people, speakers, stay away from the floor.
00:18:30.000 They're like, oh, it's too many people.
00:18:31.000 I loved it.
00:18:32.000 I love being around the people.
00:18:34.000 I love being around the spirit.
00:18:35.000 I love being around the energy.
00:18:36.000 I was literally on my feet 14 hours a day, Yeah, that's a heck of a schedule.
00:18:40.000 work in the rooms, work in the booths, all that.
00:18:43.000 And then we would stream again after the main speaker and we would probably go to bed around 1.30 or 2 a.m.
00:18:48.000 and do that every day.
00:18:49.000 Yeah, that's a heck of a schedule.
00:18:51.000 I didn't realize you were doing nighttime streaming, you know, on top of it.
00:18:55.000 I wonder if you work harder at the RNC or at your, you know, it's probably the same.
00:19:00.000 I mean, the People's Convention that you were on.
00:19:03.000 No, that's a smart question.
00:19:05.000 So the RNC was actually way more fun and easier because I wasn't responsible for all the logistical stuff, right, Cain?
00:19:13.000 Yeah.
00:19:14.000 In Detroit, it's an immense amount of pressure if there's a long line, or someone can't get their badge, or that there's a security issue, or a speaker is late, or the audio is not perfect.
00:19:26.000 So, the buck stops with me at the Turning Point Action People's Convention.
00:19:30.000 At the RNC, I was just a guest!
00:19:32.000 It was amazing!
00:19:33.000 I had so much fun.
00:19:34.000 It's not to say I don't have fun at our events, but Lauren and Tyler and Andrew and I, it's a ton of pressure on us, because everyone's looking at us to fail, and you've got attendee issues, you've got hotel issues, you've got logistics, you've got media, you've got press, you've got donors, you've got seating, you've got photo lines, you've got Secret Service.
00:19:48.000 It's just, you've got all sorts of stuff going on.
00:19:49.000 At the RNC, I was like, I'm just an attendee, and it was awesome.
00:19:53.000 So I think that actually gave me a lot of energy, to be perfectly honest.
00:19:55.000 So Cain, you watched it from afar here.
00:19:58.000 I thought it was a triumph.
00:20:00.000 That, first of all, from Donald Trump being shot, he is still alive.
00:20:04.000 The movement is larger or stronger than ever.
00:20:06.000 Cain, I have not even gotten your reaction after—actually, I called you, I think, the night of, if I'm not mistaken, and my first thing was like, well, they tried to do it.
00:20:14.000 And I was shell shocked.
00:20:15.000 Yeah.
00:20:16.000 Yeah, I was still shell shocked.
00:20:17.000 Our conversation wasn't that long.
00:20:18.000 I hadn't been able to process.
00:20:19.000 Yeah.
00:20:20.000 Yeah, you called me, it was probably near midnight or so, Eastern Time.
00:20:25.000 I was, you know, when all that information is coming out, and my main goal at that point is just to get it all out there, get as many videos, as many eyewitness videos, as many little pieces of evidence out there as quickly as possible.
00:20:38.000 And so I often don't really have time to process these things.
00:20:41.000 And I found your phone call was the first conversation that I had with anyone.
00:20:46.000 You know, it happened Around 6 p.m.
00:20:48.000 Eastern.
00:20:49.000 So that was six hours later.
00:20:50.000 So six hours that I was hunkered down, you know, in the rocket seat and not really even being able to discuss it.
00:20:56.000 And you and I, you know, we had that talk and it was, you know, I was still shell-shocked.
00:21:01.000 And one of the things you said, you know, in the beginning of that conversation is we were one inch away from civil war.
00:21:08.000 Now we all, you know, sort of this idea that we are one inch away from a disastrous outcome for President Trump.
00:21:14.000 I think that was obvious to all of us, but sort of that next step of, you know, what that would have done.
00:21:19.000 And I don't think that people really appreciated enough this week, how things came so close to being different.
00:21:27.000 Not only would the RNC convention have been thrown completely into disarray, but just the entire national discourse and the possibility for violence.
00:21:36.000 And so it's truly amazing, you know, what the divine intervention and Trump finally spoke to that last night.
00:21:44.000 We had been waiting, you know, to hear from him.
00:21:46.000 And he sort of spoke to the divine intervention and, you know, he's with God.
00:21:52.000 I don't think there's any other way that it can be looked at.
00:21:55.000 You know, he rose from the ground like the savage that he is with his fist raised, letting the American people know to fight.
00:22:03.000 And he showed all the leftists and all the Democrats and everyone across the world forgetting politics.
00:22:10.000 He showed that he's with God and that God is standing over him.
00:22:15.000 It was, it was incredibly uplifting at the same time as, as just sort of from my standpoint and your standpoint, you told me you were doing it.
00:22:24.000 You immediately did a three hour or two or three hour podcast that night.
00:22:29.000 You know, it was from, from our standpoint, it was, you know, it was extremely emotional.
00:22:34.000 And, and then, you know, heading into the RNC, what it was, I've never seen a convention like this.
00:22:41.000 I never have.
00:22:41.000 I've been watching for probably 20 some years.
00:22:44.000 Five conventions at least, and I've never seen anything like it.
00:22:48.000 And I think even Democrat media has admitted that.
00:22:51.000 We've seen that from MSNBC and their fake LED background.
00:22:55.000 And we've seen it, you know, Jake Tapper and CNN, they were there.
00:22:58.000 And they've, you know, in between the criticism and the insults, they've admitted the truth that it was the most inclusive, the most uplifting, the most uniting Republican National Convention that any of us have ever seen.
00:23:14.000 McCain, I completely agree, by the way.
00:23:16.000 We talk about the importance of voting early.
00:23:18.000 God voted early in Butler, Pennsylvania.
00:23:21.000 That was God voting early in Butler, Pennsylvania.
00:23:25.000 There is no other way to put it.

00:24:34.000 So, Cain, I now want to get into some of the Democrat chatter here, because we've covered the RNC a lot, and we should continue.
00:24:42.000 The Democrats are in a very tough spot, and I want to play some of the breaking news here.
00:24:46.000 Our team has been doing a wonderful job here.
00:24:48.000 This is Jeff, Jennifer, Mally, O'Dyllyn, or O'Dyllyn Mally.
00:24:52.000 I want to make sure I get it right.
00:24:53.000 She says Biden's in a race, and so there's reports that Biden's dropping out, but Biden's staying in.
00:24:58.000 He's not making this easy.
00:24:59.000 If Joe Biden is eventually going to drop out of the race, this is not the way to do it.
00:25:03.000 It's, I'm in, I'm out, I'm campaigning, I'm mad, I'm happy, I'm angry, I'm resting.
00:25:06.000 He's in, he's out, he's receptive, he's hostile.
00:25:10.000 The Democrats are making their own problem even worse.
00:25:13.000 Play cut 215.
00:25:15.000 We know that people are not moving from Joe Biden to Donald Trump.
00:25:20.000 What they're doing is they're saying to us, can he do it?
00:25:23.000 And the president's saying, yes, I can.
00:25:27.000 So the president is not going quietly into the night.
00:25:31.000 He's also not going anywhere until at least tomorrow as he recovers from COVID at the Beach House.
00:25:36.000 The White House has given us an early lid.
00:25:39.000 Early lid, that's not a big surprise.
00:25:41.000 I want to play another piece of tape here, though.
00:25:42.000 There is another one that is Is Joe Biden still in the race?
00:25:46.000 Does he plan to stay in the race?
00:25:47.000 Joe Biden is going nowhere, but there's another one if I can't find it here.
00:25:50.000 So, okay.
00:25:51.000 It's right here.
00:25:52.000 Joe Biden is staying in the race.
00:25:53.000 Reports of him withdrawing this weekend are false.
00:25:55.000 Thank you, Ryan.
00:25:55.000 Play cut 206.
00:25:56.000 Is Joe Biden still in the race?
00:25:59.000 Does he plan to stay in the race?
00:26:01.000 And if so, what's the plan?
00:26:03.000 Thanks so much for having me, Mika.
00:26:06.000 And look, absolutely, the president's in this race.
00:26:09.000 You've heard him say that time and time again.
00:26:11.000 And I think we saw on display last night exactly why.
00:26:14.000 Because Donald Trump is not going to offer anything new to the American people.
00:26:19.000 He's the same person he was in 2020.
00:26:21.000 He's the same person he was at the debate stage.
00:26:23.000 He's the same person he is that is about himself and not about the American people.
00:26:28.000 And Joe Biden is more committed than ever to beat Donald Trump.
00:26:31.000 And we believe on this campaign we are built for the close election that we are in and we see the path forward.
00:26:38.000 The president is the leader of our campaign and of the country and he is clearly, in our impression and what we've built and in our engagement with voters, he's the best person to take on Donald Trump and prosecute that case and present his vision versus what we saw last night.
00:26:54.000 Well, you know, Charlie, if you're like you and I, who, you know, we sit in these chairs and watch these stories develop, right, every day since the debate happened, you sort of see the formula.
00:27:06.000 And the formula is this.
00:27:07.000 The media and unnamed sources generally related to Pelosi speak behind the scenes.
00:27:13.000 They get a story riled up in the media.
00:27:16.000 The Biden campaign denies it.
00:27:18.000 And I watch it all happen in the betting odds, right?
00:27:21.000 You've seen how I've been putting those betting odds up every few hours because they're doing the best job of sort of showing where the momentum is at that time.
00:27:30.000 So you see, Kamala will take the lead, right?
00:27:33.000 Last night was by over 40 points in the betting odds.
00:27:36.000 And then you sort of see it shift back and we've seen her shift all the way back down into the low teens.
00:27:42.000 And that's the big, you know, you should take that bet every time Kamala goes down.
00:27:46.000 Why?
00:27:47.000 Because the media, you know, the thing that's been most obvious to me is the media wants him gone.
00:27:51.000 CNN, all of these outlets want him gone.
00:27:54.000 And so every time the momentum dies out, They bring it back up.
00:27:58.000 We've never seen, you know, we've, we haven't seen journalism from less, from corporate media for the last 10 years of Trump.
00:28:05.000 And this is, you know, it's like they've suddenly discovered how to be journalists again and how to, you know, and, and since they want Biden out, you know, that's sort of been this repeating cycle.
00:28:15.000 So is it damaging?
00:28:16.000 Yeah, I think it's gotta be damaging because we're in the fourth or fifth iteration of this cycle.
00:28:21.000 Where the pushback keeps coming from Biden.
00:28:24.000 Now the difference this time is the pushback has been weaker.
00:28:28.000 As you've noticed, I'm sure, since yesterday morning when the rumors got fired up again, the pushback was weak all day yesterday and we've had a little bit of it this morning.
00:28:38.000 So that's how I analyze these things, is how strong they're pushing back.
00:28:42.000 This time, you know, the White House pushback has been the weakest.
00:28:45.000 So I think that, you know, that the momentum is going that way.
00:28:49.000 But until Joe goes and decides to go, he, you know, he's still the man.
00:28:54.000 So Cain, let me ask you, do you think if we were to run against Kamala Harris, it is that major of an improvement for the Democrats?
00:29:02.000 Is she harder, easier, or the same to beat Citizen Cain?
00:29:07.000 To me it's the same, Charlie.
00:29:09.000 I look at these polls as much as you do, right?
00:29:11.000 So I've seen polls where she does slightly better.
00:29:14.000 For example, there's a poll in the stack this morning or this afternoon from CBS News that shows Trump-Biden 52-47 nationwide.
00:29:23.000 And Trump Kamala 5148, right?
00:29:26.000 So there's a one point boost.
00:29:28.000 You and I have both seen this because one, because I know I'm posting them all in the stack and you read the stack.
00:29:33.000 So we've seen polls with her doing two to three points worse.
00:29:37.000 We've seen polls with her doing two to three points better.
00:29:40.000 We saw a state poll.
00:29:41.000 I'm sure you remember this one from last week, or it may have been Monday of this week in Georgia.
00:29:46.000 Where Trump-Biden in Georgia was four points, but Trump-Kamala in Georgia was 10 points, 47-37.
00:29:53.000 So that's an outlier, right?
00:29:55.000 That's probably the only poll that I've seen that is more than a three-point difference between Trump-Biden.
00:30:01.000 But that was also a swing state poll, and that's an interesting question in and of itself because All of these polls we're getting are national polls, right?
00:30:11.000 The Trump-Kamala polls, they're national polls and they generally don't include the other three candidates.
00:30:16.000 There's so many polling variables that are, you know, that are different with this cycle with Kennedy and Jill Stein and Cornel West.
00:30:25.000 So you really, you know, true excellent polling really has to have all five candidates And we just really haven't seen that enough with Trump-Kamala.
00:30:35.000 But the reason I say it's the same is I think things are polarized, Charlie.
00:30:40.000 As you and I have said, this is a margin of error election.
00:30:43.000 We can still lose this thing.
00:30:49.000 Look, no one can relax.
00:30:51.000 Let's put it that way.
00:30:52.000 No one can relax in any of these states.
00:30:55.000 This is still the kind of thing where if either side... Yeah, go ahead.
00:30:59.000 No, no, no, no.
00:31:00.000 This is only the best week ever if we win.
00:31:03.000 And I want to reiterate that.
00:31:04.000 You have to go do the work.
00:31:06.000 Stop celebrating everybody.
00:31:07.000 You should be thankful that Donald Trump is alive and go find new voters.
00:31:11.000 Get them registered.
00:31:12.000 Get their commitment to vote for Donald Trump.
00:31:14.000 Work harder.
00:31:15.000 That's what this weekend is all about.
00:31:17.000 We have hired 50 new ballot chasers this last week.
00:31:19.000 And by the way, the Democrats are going to pull out all the stops.
00:31:22.000 They might have an open convention, they might go Gretchen Whitmer and Wes Moore, or Wes Moore from Maryland and Gretchen Whitmer, and have two faces that have nothing to do with this administration, and they might jump over Kamala Harris, and we might have a whole newly defined race.
00:31:35.000 This week will go down as an amazing week, if we win.
00:31:39.000 And only if we win.
00:31:40.000 So no cockiness, no pride, we have to do the work.
00:31:44.000 Kane.
00:31:45.000 Yeah, chase the votes, register voters.
00:31:47.000 Those shirts, you know, those shirts are fantastic.
00:31:50.000 I'd love to see tens of thousands of people go to TP Action and get those shirts.
00:31:57.000 You know, it's the kind of thing that just brings up discussion.
00:32:02.000 Look, we both know how it works.
00:32:05.000 We both counted, what, 14 special elections in a row that Republicans have lost.
00:32:11.000 We know those are lower turnout elections, but what it shows us is that we can take absolutely nothing for granted in this cycle.
00:32:20.000 It doesn't, you know, people tend to think, oh, he survived this.
00:32:23.000 He has the hand of God on him and now all independents.
00:32:26.000 Well, yeah, it should be that all independents vote for Trump, but none of this is set.
00:32:31.000 None of it is guaranteed.
00:32:32.000 When you only have 65 to 70% of the eligible population that votes in these elections, if either side gets a 5% boost, It can overwhelm any advantage from the other side.
00:32:44.000 So in no way, shape or form do I feel confident about November.
00:32:48.000 Now granted, I never feel confident about these things, right?
00:32:51.000 If I had to say right now, I would say because of our hard-working people on our side.
00:32:58.000 I'm optimistic, but it only happens with work.
00:33:03.000 None of these states are decided.
00:33:05.000 I heard Trump say Nevada last night where we're up 14, and I chuckled.
00:33:10.000 It's nice for him to show that momentum and talk about being up 14, but we know that Nevada isn't going to turn out 14 points.
00:33:18.000 And so I'm scared about every single one of these states.
00:33:21.000 Yeah, I'm scared about every single one of these states.
00:33:23.000 And we know that it's not seven swing states anymore.
00:33:26.000 It's like 12, right?
00:33:27.000 But I'm scared about all 12.
00:33:29.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:33:30.000 Email us as always freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:32.000 Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
