00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, Tana Charlie Kirk Show.
00:00:01.000 We go out through the omnibus and Senator Rick Scott joins us to talk about the outrage of a bill that is being passed through Congress.

00:00:30.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:31.000 Here we go.
00:00:32.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:34.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
00:00:36.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:39.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:42.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:43.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:44.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:00:46.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:00:51.000 Turning point USA.
00:00:53.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:02.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:04.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:14.000 Right now, we are in the midst of what is called a lame duck Congress.
00:01:21.000 Emphasis on the lame.
00:01:24.000 If the federal government doesn't pass some sort of a massive spending bill by Friday, the government shuts down, where it really doesn't shut down because it will only fund then the essential services.
00:01:36.000 Of course, the obvious next question is: if the services are not essential, why are we funding them?
00:01:42.000 The government has shut down plenty of times the last couple of years.
00:01:45.000 It shut down, remember, with Donald Trump and Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi for nearly a month when they were negotiating the border wall.
00:01:52.000 And by the way, all of this is happening while we are being legitimately invaded on our southern border.
00:01:59.000 Thousands and thousands of people.
00:02:01.000 This all ties together, by the way.
00:02:04.000 Let's go right here.
00:02:06.000 2,400 crossings a day.
00:02:09.000 This is so while our country is being invaded, Congress is supposed to be putting together some sort of omnibus bill, play cut 62.
00:02:19.000 I've never seen anything quite like this.
00:02:22.000 Border Patrol officials telling ABC News they are at capacity and have to send migrants elsewhere along the border.
00:02:28.000 Unauthorized border crossings in El Paso are now averaging more than 2,400 arrests and detainments per day.
00:02:36.000 Today, adults carrying children through the river.
00:02:39.000 This ahead of next week's possible end of Title 42, a Trump-era policy that allows for the immediate expulsion of migrants without allowing them to seek asylum.
00:02:48.000 So they repealed Title 42, and it just irritates me so much.
00:02:54.000 Katie Hobbs, Mark Kelly, they ran nonstop ads funded by open border advocates pretending like they were on the side of closing the border.
00:03:03.000 They lied relentlessly on over-the-top advertising, on pre-roll YouTube advertising, on television.
00:03:10.000 I mean, Mark Kelly spent $80 million lying to Arizona voters, and unfortunately, it did work in some sense.
00:03:18.000 We're going to get into the Kerry Lake stuff, but there was a moving of the margin in that regard.
00:03:25.000 So under Title 42, authorities have expelled illegals, border jumpers, criminals at the U.S. border nearly 2.5 million times over the last three years.
00:03:36.000 80% of those have been under Biden.
00:03:38.000 They are rescinding Title 42, which basically opens up our entire southern border.
00:03:46.000 So the border is being invaded.
00:03:48.000 Our country is being overrun by illegals, but congressional leaders won't be bothered by that.
00:03:54.000 Senate Republicans and Senate Democrats have now said they have a deal.
00:04:00.000 The deal, they say, is first to extend the government spending for another week to give them more time and then to pass an omnibus spending bill that will keep the government funded until the end of the fiscal year, which is at the end of September next year.
00:04:16.000 That is a full nine months.
00:04:19.000 Now, this is all being led by the turtle, Mitch McConnell, because Mitch McConnell says, quote, I want to be on the road and going home to Kentucky on the 22nd or 23rd.
00:04:30.000 He won't be bothered to work past the 22nd or 23rd.
00:04:35.000 So this would give the Democrats a gift, a $1.7 trillion gift.
00:04:44.000 Now, Chuck Yu Schumer says that this will include another wave of Ukrainian funding.
00:04:52.000 Now, Biden has been asking for $37 billion, which would take us over $100 billion in spending for a war that does not involve America with a country we actually should be warm with, Russia right now against China.
00:05:07.000 Russia and Putin are evil and terrible for invading Ukraine.
00:05:12.000 But there is no reason whatsoever for us to be funding a proxy war in Ukraine.
00:05:15.000 And you might remember, I asked Senator Kramer, Republican from North Dakota, of whom I have respect for on several issues, I said, what is the limit of the money you will spend to Ukraine?
00:05:27.000 And he famously said on our program, we could find that tape.
00:05:30.000 I really can't put a number on it.
00:05:31.000 There is no limit.
00:05:32.000 And apparently, that was an honest answer.
00:05:35.000 We are now in excess of $100 billion while our country is posting a $1.3 trillion budget deficit.
00:05:46.000 We are nearly $30 trillion in debt.
00:05:49.000 We have $250 billion that we are borrowing every month.
00:05:54.000 Last month in October was the largest single month deficit in American history.
00:05:59.000 And we are entertaining sending another $100 billion to Ukraine.
00:06:04.000 Now, before I go any further, this is so maddening.
00:06:08.000 This gets me so fired up.
00:06:10.000 I understand.
00:06:12.000 I sympathize.
00:06:14.000 However, I disagree with Republicans who didn't show up to go vote for Dr. Oz or Herschel Walker.
00:06:22.000 They see garbage like this.
00:06:24.000 They see nonsense.
00:06:26.000 They see Washington, D.C. crony deals grinding them down, and they say, forget it.
00:06:33.000 Right now, there is a race for the RNC between Harmeet Dylan, who we really like on this program, and you guys can contact your RNC officials at hireharmeat.com.
00:06:43.000 That is hireharmeat.com up against Rana.
00:06:46.000 And they say, we need to do a big report to figure out why did Republicans not show up in the record numbers in the midterm elections?
00:06:54.000 Why is it that some of these candidates weren't able to get across the finish line?
00:06:59.000 Here's a good starting point.
00:07:01.000 When you're about to give Democrats a nine-month, $1.7 trillion gift just weeks away from a new Republican Congress from taking over, it is beyond demoralizing.
00:07:14.000 It is an unadulterated insult to all of you that gave money, knocked on doors, made phone calls.
00:07:23.000 And now some of you might say, well, Charlie, you told us to go vote for senators and do all that.
00:07:28.000 That's true.
00:07:29.000 I still think despite all of that, there are more positives than negatives with having a Republican Senate, also playing defense against HR1 and all of this.
00:07:37.000 However, I will not mislead you.
00:07:42.000 I'm going to shoot straight with you, as honestly and as bluntly as I possibly can.
00:07:47.000 What is being discussed with this omnibus bill with Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer is a gut punch to every taxpaying, law-abiding, patriotic American citizen.
00:08:01.000 They are on the precipice.
00:08:03.000 They are on the verge of passing a nine-month gift.
00:08:07.000 So now when Republicans, House Republicans come into power in January, they have no leverage, no negotiating power for nine months.
00:08:18.000 It will eat up one-third of the new Republicans' term.
00:08:23.000 So who needs House Republicans to be able to oversee a budget where it extends it all the way to September of next year?
00:08:31.000 Instead, they should say, okay, we'll give you 30 days.
00:08:35.000 30 days?
00:08:38.000 Why do you need a nine-month, $1.7 trillion?
00:08:42.000 Or they should really say, we're not approving anything.
00:08:44.000 Even worse than that, Mitch McConnell has leverage.
00:08:49.000 They want a nine-month deal.
00:08:50.000 Why doesn't Mitch McConnell say, hey, we are going to require a border wall?
00:08:55.000 Oh, because for Mitch McConnell and for Senate leadership and for Republicans that we send to the Senate, sending money to Zelensky is much more important than sending money to prevent the 2,400 people that are crossing into our country every single day.
00:09:17.000 I don't agree with it, but I sympathize with the sentiment of people saying, forget it.
00:09:25.000 Forget it.
00:09:27.000 I'm not doing this any longer.
00:09:29.000 I'm not voting.
00:09:30.000 I don't agree with it.
00:09:31.000 I think it's the wrong attitude.
00:09:32.000 It's the wrong behavior.
00:09:35.000 But when McConnell and the Uniparty gut punches us time and time again, what do you expect?
00:09:43.000 Hey, Zelensky is going to get more money.
00:09:46.000 But to secure our country from an invasion of the cartels of 2,400 people a day, you're on your own, pal.
00:09:56.000 Do you know that you could save a baby's life for $28?
00:10:01.000 Well, it's true.
00:10:02.000 Pre-born is a ministry doing just that with the help of people just like you by offering free ultrasound sessions to pregnant women and girls who might just otherwise choose to end their pregnancies.
00:10:14.000 We know that pregnant girls and women who can see their babies on ultrasounds are far more likely to choose life.
00:10:20.000 Your gift today can save a baby's life.
00:10:24.000 Just $28 can give a mother who is abortion-minded the chance to see the truth of the baby that is growing inside her.
00:10:30.000 $140 can do this for five girls and women.
00:10:34.000 $15,000 gift will provide an ultrasound machine that will save lives for years to come.
00:10:40.000 Whether you want to save one baby or five or hundreds, that opportunity is just a phone call or click away.
00:10:46.000 There's no better time now than now to save a baby's life.
00:10:49.000 Go to charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner or call 833-850-2229.
00:10:58.000 That's charliekirk.com and click on the banner.
00:11:02.000 Pre-born is a terrific organization.
00:11:04.000 They do a great job and give them some money this Christmas season to save a baby's life.
00:11:12.000 It's critical that we are not just pro-life in our politics, that is essential, but also in our giving, our philanthropy, and our actions.
00:11:23.000 CharlieKirk.com, click on the banner, pre-born, great organization.
00:11:28.000 And this Christmas season, make sure you have a priority to give, not just receive.
00:11:35.000 CharlieKirk.com and click on the pre-born banner.
00:11:41.000 One of the roles of the Republican National Committee shouldn't just be winning elections, of which they can't even do that very well.
00:11:49.000 The RNC should also serve to hold members accountable.
00:11:54.000 I know this is a foreign concept for the leadership class of the Republican National Committee, but why are they not saying no?
00:12:04.000 Stop it, turtle.
00:12:06.000 You are not going to pass a $1.7 trillion spending bill with not a dime of new spending for the U.S. southern border, but we are going to give Mr. Zelensky, the time man of the year, unlimited amount of our taxpayer dollars.
00:12:22.000 Question: Is Ukraine a state?
00:12:24.000 Does Ukraine vote?
00:12:26.000 Is Ukraine part of our country?
00:12:28.000 Ukraine is in a far off and distant land fighting a proxy war, a family conflict that is increasingly murky, not defined, should be ended via the brokering of peace of a stronger country.
00:12:42.000 Is Ukraine even an ally of the United States?
00:12:45.000 What is success?
00:12:46.000 What does success look like in Ukraine?
00:12:48.000 We've asked these questions for months.
00:12:49.000 No one can ever answer it.
00:12:50.000 And they say, well, Ukraine is winning the war.
00:12:53.000 Is that true?
00:12:54.000 I don't know.
00:12:55.000 If Ukraine is winning the war, then why is it that Russia seems to continue to control the eastern parts of Ukraine?
00:13:04.000 These are just very simple questions.
00:13:06.000 So also involved in this omnibus bill will be easier banking access for marijuana dispensaries across the country.
00:13:15.000 The SAFE Act would legalize bank access for marijuana companies, even though the drug supposedly remains illegal.
00:13:22.000 Also included in this is the Electoral Count Act, which is a Democrat priority that sharply limits what grounds lawmakers can object to the certification of electoral votes.
00:13:35.000 You have to wonder what is Mitch McConnell and the Republican strategy here.
00:13:41.000 Right now, we control neither the House or the Senate.
00:13:45.000 That will change in literally a couple of weeks, within days, within 20 days.
00:13:51.000 He can't delay for 20 days.
00:13:53.000 Also, here's a strategy: shut down the government and hand it off to the new Congress.
00:13:59.000 Shut down the government, hand it off to the new Congress.
00:14:02.000 Have them work it out.
00:14:04.000 You guys are a lame duck enterprise.
00:14:08.000 You're done.
00:14:10.000 But no, they want their crony deals.
00:14:12.000 They want their pork.
00:14:13.000 They want their spending.
00:14:15.000 Senator Shelby from Alabama, who's getting the most pork of anybody, he's retiring.
00:14:22.000 He will not be a senator in a couple of weeks.
00:14:24.000 Said, I am pleased to confirm that Chairman Lehi and Chair Delaro and I have reached a bipartisan, bicameral framework that allows us to begin the difficult work of reaching agreement across 12 separate bills.
00:14:38.000 If all goes well, we should be able to finish an omnibus appropriations package by December 23rd.
00:14:46.000 These are all people that are retiring.
00:14:51.000 $2,000.
00:14:53.000 That's where gold is headed.
00:14:54.000 The growth will continue throughout 2023 with gold prices remaining elevated at an average price of $2,086 an ounce.
00:15:02.000 All of this is according to Bank of America.
00:15:04.000 And it looks like they are right.
00:15:05.000 At the beginning of December, gold cross $1,800 and is still climbing.
00:15:09.000 If this year has taught us anything, it's that the tangible assets are the only assets you can count on.
00:15:15.000 Like gold, it's time to open a gold IRA.
00:15:18.000 Crypto keeps on tanking.
00:15:19.000 Stocks are too volatile.
00:15:20.000 Gold in your IRA is steady.
00:15:23.000 You need to own something you had touch, and gold holds its value.
00:15:26.000 So what are you waiting for?
00:15:27.000 It's not too late.
00:15:28.000 Thousands of people have retired comfortably with the help of Noble Gold Investments and their gold and silver IRAs.
00:15:36.000 If you've been a hesitant investor, but one of the handful of Americans who can go for gold and silver in your IRA, now's the time to act.
00:15:44.000 If you get in before the end of the month, you'll bag an incredible free three-ounce silver American virtue coin with every qualified IRA of $20,000 or above.
00:15:53.000 You can't go wrong with Noble Gold Investments.
00:15:55.000 Call 877-646-5347 or find out more.
00:16:00.000 Visit noblegoldinvestments.com, noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:16:06.000 Joining us now is Senator Rick Scott, who is a hard no on this bill.
00:16:12.000 Hopefully, we can prevent it from becoming a law.
00:16:14.000 Senator, welcome back to the program.
00:16:16.000 I mean, Charlie, you should just be furious, and your audience should be furious about what goes on up here.
00:16:20.000 The Democrats keep spending, spending, spending, and we've got to say enough's enough.
00:16:25.000 $31, almost $32 trillion for the debt.
00:16:27.000 When are we going to say, you know what?
00:16:29.000 That's too much.
00:16:30.000 We've got to change.
00:16:31.000 And so they're going to give it.
00:16:33.000 Charlie, there's going to be probably close to a $2 trillion spending bill next week.
00:16:38.000 We've seen it.
00:16:39.000 We don't know.
00:16:40.000 We don't know the top number.
00:16:41.000 We don't know what's in it.
00:16:42.000 We know nothing.
00:16:44.000 We know nothing.
00:16:44.000 Now, what we do know is Republicans in the House are opposed to it.
00:16:49.000 But we don't know anything up here right now.
00:16:51.000 So we can't keep caving into these Democrats.
00:16:54.000 It's Pelosi, Schumer, end-of-year spending bill.
00:16:57.000 That's exactly what it is.
00:16:58.000 Yes, so, but Senator, you're going to have to help me understand this.
00:17:02.000 Some of your Republican colleagues are the ones that are allegedly brokering this and negotiating it.
00:17:07.000 Senator Shelby, for example, who is retiring, he is saying that a deal has been struck.
00:17:13.000 You're saying you don't even know what the deal is.
00:17:16.000 Is that right?
00:17:17.000 Yeah, I don't know what I don't know what the deal is.
00:17:19.000 I don't know what the number is.
00:17:20.000 I don't know what's in it.
00:17:22.000 None of us do.
00:17:23.000 I mean, just a few people negotiate these things, and we just have got this.
00:17:27.000 I mean, why would we, when we have Republican, an incoming Republican House, why would we do a spending bill right before they take over?
00:17:37.000 Yeah, well, that's but I haven't seen it.
00:17:38.000 No, I have no idea.
00:17:40.000 Is it getting rid of IRS agents?
00:17:41.000 Of course not.
00:17:42.000 Yeah, so but it's even worse than that.
00:17:45.000 It's it's a nine-month extension of the worst of the federal government.
00:17:51.000 And so we have a new Republican House coming in on January 3rd.
00:17:55.000 This robs the next Republican House of one-third of their term.
00:18:00.000 And so, Senator, I have to wonder: what are your Republican colleagues thinking?
00:18:05.000 You know, what they do is they, you know, they put this at the end of the year.
00:18:10.000 They say, oh, if you don't vote for this, government will shut down right before Christmas.
00:18:14.000 Wouldn't you feel bad?
00:18:15.000 And by the way, don't you want to get home for Christmas?
00:18:18.000 That's what they do.
00:18:19.000 So I think we've got to, I mean, we've got to, we can't cave.
00:18:23.000 We can't give in.
00:18:24.000 What we need to be doing is we need to do a continued resolution, which I'm not for those, but we ought to do a continuing resolution.
00:18:31.000 Let's say through February 3rd or something like that.
00:18:34.000 Mike Lee, Ron Johnson, Mike Braun, and I went down, tried to push that yesterday on the Senate floor to do give the new, give a new Congress.
00:18:44.000 This Congress decided not to pass budgets.
00:18:46.000 That's wrong.
00:18:47.000 They didn't do it.
00:18:47.000 So let's give the new Congress the opportunity to pass a budget.
00:18:51.000 Yeah, I mean, so let's just talk some numbers.
00:18:53.000 So if you guys all do that, Senator Johnson, Senator Braun, Senator DeLee, I'm sure Senator Paul would be on board.
00:19:00.000 What are the numbers?
00:19:01.000 Do they need to get 60 votes?
00:19:03.000 So essentially, they need to get 10 Republicans to cave.
00:19:06.000 They've got to get 10 Republicans.
00:19:07.000 Yeah, they have to get 10 Republicans to go along with them.
00:19:12.000 And we just can't keep caving like this.
00:19:14.000 This is so, yeah, that's what's going to happen.
00:19:16.000 Now, we don't.
00:19:17.000 So here's the vote.
00:19:17.000 Here's what we're going to happen this week.
00:19:20.000 The first vote was going to be: should we do a short-term continuing resolution for one week to put this in the position to pass the omnibus?
00:19:29.000 That's the first vote.
00:19:31.000 And so, first off, I don't think we ought to be doing a short-term CR.
00:19:36.000 So, but second, let's say that passes, all right?
00:19:39.000 Then we shouldn't be doing an omnibus next week, right before Christmas, that nobody's ever read.
00:19:44.000 I mean, they were going to want to do this by, what, Wednesday or worst case, Thursday next week.
00:19:49.000 I mean, it's going to be thousands of pages.
00:19:51.000 It'll have unbelievable number of earmarks.
00:19:55.000 So, we ought to, we can't keep doing this.
00:19:58.000 I think we ought to do, let's.
00:19:59.000 give the new Congress the opportunity.
00:20:01.000 Let's give, you know, we've got a Republican, we'll have a Republican House.
00:20:04.000 Let's give them the opportunity, not Pelosi.
00:20:07.000 Why would we give Pelosi the opportunity to choose what's going to be in this bill?
00:20:11.000 Why wouldn't we do, you know, the Republicans in the House the opportunity, and we'll work with them.
00:20:17.000 And I mean, I have to wonder, I mean, for the chief negotiators here, you know, Senator Shelby, I'm just getting the, I'm gleaning and looking at this.
00:20:26.000 I just don't think he cares.
00:20:28.000 I mean, he's retiring, right?
00:20:31.000 And so for him, there's really no way to hold him accountable.
00:20:34.000 And Senator, I think it should just be a kind of a standing rule for the Republican conference.
00:20:39.000 You shouldn't allow retirees to negotiate multi-trillion dollar spending bills on their way out because there really is no skin in the game.
00:20:48.000 There is no check and balance, right?
00:20:49.000 It's kind of.
00:20:51.000 There's none.
00:20:51.000 I mean, and by the way, this supposedly has 7,500 earmarks, billions of dollars of earmarks.
00:20:58.000 $7,500.
00:21:00.000 $7,500.
00:21:02.000 7,500 earmarks.
00:21:04.000 I mean, this is your money.
00:21:07.000 This is your money.
00:21:09.000 Would you spend your money like this?
00:21:10.000 Of course not.
00:21:11.000 You shouldn't be spending somebody else's money like this.
00:21:14.000 7,500 earmarks.
00:21:16.000 And also in this is all this other nonsense.
00:21:18.000 There's the SAFE Act, which would legalize bank access for marijuana companies.
00:21:23.000 There is the Electoral Count Act.
00:21:26.000 And so, Senator, let's just kind of narrow the universe here.
00:21:29.000 Do you think it's likely under the current kind of parameters that there are going to be 10 Republican defectors?
00:21:36.000 I mean, McConnell has said he wants to get home for Christmas.
00:21:38.000 So that's one.
00:21:39.000 Of course, everybody wants to get home for Christmas.
00:21:42.000 But the way to do this is let's do a continuous.
00:21:44.000 We're not going to have a country to go home to Christmas for if you keep on spending money like this.
00:21:48.000 And by the way, surely, inflation's not going away.
00:21:52.000 You saw it's still up over 7%.
00:21:54.000 And so that means if you're a poor family, if you're a family struggling, like mine was growing up, if you're on fixed income, what you've seen is you've seen what, but over a 14% increase in your cost of living since Joe Biden got elected.
00:22:08.000 You know what's caused by?
00:22:10.000 It's caused by spending.
00:22:11.000 Yes.
00:22:12.000 Because up here, the Democrats can't stop spending and we can't go along with it.
00:22:16.000 Yeah.
00:22:17.000 And I just, so if McConnell says yes, and then let's say, obviously Shelby will say yes, and then Blunt and then a couple other retirees.
00:22:27.000 I mean, we're going to be right near that number.
00:22:30.000 But I just, there has to be a reckoning at some point where this is more than just performative theater.
00:22:37.000 Like, this is real stuff, Senator.
00:22:39.000 We have a one, and you know this, $1.3 trillion deficit this year, and we're doing a $1.7 trillion extension.
00:22:47.000 This is not sustainable.
00:22:49.000 $31.5 trillion for debt.
00:22:52.000 Look at what's happened.
00:22:53.000 Look at what our interest expense is going to be.
00:22:55.000 I bet this year our interest expense will be bigger than our defense budget.
00:23:00.000 So the interest expense.
00:23:01.000 So just the price of the money that we previously borrowed will be more than the entire defense budget.
00:23:08.000 So it's $800 billion.
00:23:10.000 Yeah, it should be over because it's $31.
00:23:13.000 If you look at, I mean, it depends on what happens at interest rates, but interest rates are continuing to move up.
00:23:17.000 It looks like the Federal Reserve is going to raise them up another half a point today.
00:23:22.000 Interest rates continue to move up.
00:23:24.000 I mean, that means that we're going to spend an unbelievable portion of our budget just spending money on interest.
00:23:33.000 Not on making sure we have a lethal military, just on interest.
00:23:36.000 Nothing to care about.
00:23:38.000 Unbelievable.
00:23:40.000 Just to serve.
00:23:40.000 But the divorce is right now.
00:23:42.000 Is all this money, one, we don't know the number, but why are we doing 7,500 earmarks?
00:23:47.000 7,500 earmarks.
00:23:48.000 That's what's supposed to be in this bill.
00:23:50.000 Okay, so Senator, we have a very action-oriented audience.
00:23:53.000 What can people do?
00:23:54.000 Who are the senators that need to be called?
00:23:57.000 Every senator.
00:23:58.000 Who are the ones that are real?
00:23:59.000 I mean, Senator Shelby doesn't obviously seem to be persuadable because he's on the way out, but there has to be a few, right?
00:24:04.000 I mean, that are at least open-minded, correct?
00:24:08.000 You don't have to call.
00:24:09.000 I'll tell you who you don't have to call him.
00:24:10.000 You have to call Mike Brown.
00:24:12.000 You don't have to call Mike Lee.
00:24:13.000 You don't have to call Rand Paul.
00:24:14.000 You don't have to call me.
00:24:15.000 You don't have to call Ron Johnson.
00:24:17.000 All right.
00:24:18.000 But I don't know how everybody else is.
00:24:19.000 I mean, I don't know what I think.
00:24:21.000 I think Kennedy has said he's not going to support it.
00:24:23.000 Holly said he's not going to support it.
00:24:26.000 Cruz, of course, won't support it.
00:24:30.000 But everybody else, I have no idea what they're going to do.
00:24:33.000 Yeah.
00:24:33.000 I mean, and the fact that we don't have any idea, I mean, so is McConnell.
00:24:38.000 How does this work then, Senators?
00:24:39.000 Give us a little bit of inside baseball if you can.
00:24:41.000 So here's what will happen.
00:24:42.000 Yeah, go ahead.
00:24:44.000 They will put it up.
00:24:46.000 What I just was told is we're going to vote on it first because the whole entire Republican, all the Republican members are supposedly against it over in the House.
00:24:57.000 So they're going to try to pass it in the Senate first so they can act like it's bipartisan.
00:25:01.000 Now will probably be, I would assume it'll be the earliest they can get it done would be next Wednesday.
00:25:08.000 The first fight will be Friday or Saturday.
00:25:11.000 We'll have to vote over a continuing resolution for another week.
00:25:14.000 That's the first vote.
00:25:15.000 That would be the first fight.
00:25:16.000 And then the second one will be, well, the omnibus passed next week.
00:25:20.000 So, but I mean, why aren't they telling us what's in it?
00:25:24.000 What is the reason they won't tell us what's in it?
00:25:26.000 What is the reason they won't tell us the amount?
00:25:29.000 Right.
00:25:30.000 I mean, I haven't seen, I've been told there's 7,500 earmarks, but I haven't seen them.
00:25:35.000 How many bridges of nowhere are there in there?
00:25:38.000 But who designated this negotiating committee?
00:25:41.000 Is that McConnell?
00:25:42.000 Did he just empower?
00:25:44.000 Yeah, I mean, it's the head of appropriations, Republican and Democrat.
00:25:50.000 And so far, my understanding is the House head of appropriations on the Republican side has not signed off on it.
00:25:57.000 And I think they're holding a press conference today to talk about it in just a few minutes to talk about how bad it is.
00:26:04.000 So, Senator, I don't think this is helping them.
00:26:07.000 No, and so in closing here, Senator, you worked super hard to get us the Senate majority.
00:26:10.000 I think you deserve a lot of credit for the effort and the money you raised.
00:26:13.000 And I wish we did have it.
00:26:14.000 But Senator, I got to be very honest with you.
00:26:16.000 Just reading the audience and reading the room, one of the reasons why in some of these states, some Republican voters had a tough time stomaching Republican candidates is garbage like this.
00:26:27.000 And I'm sure you agree.
00:26:29.000 This doesn't enthuse our ranks at all.
00:26:32.000 Right.
00:26:32.000 I mean, let's do what we've what we tell our voters we believe in.
00:26:36.000 We believe in fiscal responsibility.
00:26:39.000 We believe in watching your money.
00:26:40.000 It is your money.
00:26:42.000 We want to get inflation down.
00:26:44.000 We want to get debt down.
00:26:45.000 So are we doing it?
00:26:46.000 When I was governor, I reduced the state debt by a third.
00:26:49.000 I mean, I made sure our government grew slower than our population base every year, right?
00:26:55.000 So, because you ought to get more efficient every year in everything you do in life, not the federal government.
00:27:00.000 I mean, they grow this, they're growing spending like crazy.
00:27:03.000 And on top of that, they're making it mandatory.
00:27:05.000 So we don't even vote on it.
00:27:07.000 There's so it's, I think it's now 70% of our budget we don't even vote on every year, just automatically who's going to spend more money.
00:27:15.000 It would never lead your personal life like this.
00:27:17.000 It's all kabuki theaters.
00:27:18.000 I'll just kind of close with this.
00:27:20.000 If you're saying you don't know what's in the bill, imagine how angry the audience is.
00:27:24.000 I mean, you're a U.S. senator who's very well respected and works his tail off.
00:27:30.000 I mean, this is beyond treachery at the highest level.
00:27:33.000 And I hope you guys fight it, and I hope we light up the switchboard.
00:27:36.000 I'm going to fight it.
00:27:36.000 Don't worry.
00:27:37.000 There's a bunch of us going to fight it.
00:27:38.000 I hope so.
00:27:38.000 This is outrageous.
00:27:39.000 Senator, thank you so much for joining us.
00:27:41.000 All right.
00:27:42.000 Bye-bye.
00:27:42.000 See you, Charlie.
00:27:43.000 Bye-bye.
00:27:46.000 Look, offers for free iPhones are usually and typically too good to be true.
00:27:50.000 Just like Freedom itself, nothing is free.
00:27:52.000 Mobile phone companies not only lock you into long-term contracts, but they also build the price of the phone into your bill with hidden fees.

00:29:07.000 We're getting a fair amount of emails here.
00:29:09.000 One in particular, Charlie, I did not vote for Herschel Walker in Georgia.
00:29:14.000 I intentionally decided not to vote.
00:29:17.000 You had some harsh words for us last week, which I understand, but now I feel vindicated.
00:29:23.000 The Uniparty always wins.
00:29:25.000 And that is the sad truth.
00:29:28.000 Another one here, controlled opposition.
00:29:30.000 Charlie, they want to go home for Christmas.
00:29:32.000 Are you kidding me?
00:29:33.000 Of course, this is going to pass.
00:29:34.000 Everything passes.
00:29:35.000 There will be enough defectors.
00:29:37.000 There will not be enough defectors.
00:29:38.000 These Republican senators on your show are just spitting in the wind.
00:29:42.000 I believe in not giving up.
00:29:43.000 Everyone needs to contact their congressman.
00:29:45.000 The cynic in me says it will make a difference.
00:29:47.000 My senator, luckily, will be voting no.
00:29:50.000 So look, someone says here, this is one of my favorite emails.
00:29:54.000 It's just so important.
00:29:55.000 They said, Charlie, I'm really struggling to understand here.
00:29:58.000 How on earth could a Republican senator come on your show and say, quote, I have no idea what's going on?
00:30:03.000 I'm sorry.
00:30:04.000 I'm not laughing at Senator Scott.
00:30:06.000 I'm laughing because it's so tragically well put.
00:30:09.000 My question is, how is that possible?
00:30:11.000 What are these people paid to do exactly?
00:30:14.000 Well, it's not his fault, but it's just, it's really sad.
00:30:17.000 Email is freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:30:20.000 Okay, there's two stories I want to get to that on the Richter scale of insanity.
00:30:25.000 I think it is a tie.
00:30:27.000 It is very close.
00:30:29.000 The first is this.
00:30:30.000 I saw the story a couple days ago and I've been wanting to hit it.
00:30:33.000 But this is exactly, this is to be totally predictable.
00:30:38.000 It shouldn't shock you, but it should anger you.
00:30:42.000 The Cambridge Dictionary has updated their definition of what a woman is.
00:30:49.000 Now, by reading their definition, within 10 seconds, you can easily tell that in their definition is a logical fallacy.
00:30:59.000 It's called circular reasoning.
00:31:02.000 I have to give credit where credit is due.
00:31:04.000 The brilliant Matt Walsh enlightened me to this, and it was so obvious.
00:31:07.000 He was in front of my face the whole time.
00:31:09.000 And he did this in his brilliant film, What is a Woman?
00:31:12.000 And by the way, Matt Walsh will be at AmericaFest this weekend.
00:31:15.000 The film that Matt Walsh put forward on the Daily Wire is so smart because it asks a very simple question that hyper-academic people cannot answer.
00:31:23.000 They can dance around it, they could pretend what it is, but they cannot answer the question, which is what is a woman.
00:31:28.000 And the only answer that they give that they think is satisfactory, which in itself is a logical fallacy, is they answer the question with the definition, meaning a woman is whatever a woman wants to be.
00:31:40.000 And so then you have to say, I got that part, but what is the woman?
00:31:44.000 That doesn't answer it.
00:31:46.000 We understand you think anyone can be that thing, but what is the definition itself?
00:31:50.000 It's very simple.
00:31:51.000 What is the thing that you say that anyone can be?
00:31:53.000 Well, now the new Cambridge definition says that a woman can include anyone who identifies as a female.
00:31:59.000 But then what is a female?
00:32:00.000 And they say a female is anyone who wants to be a woman.
00:32:03.000 They refuse to ever answer what that is.
00:32:07.000 So they say, then if you actually dive deeper, some of the smarter ones will say, well, it's a cultural tradition of what a woman is.
00:32:14.000 Play cut 64.
00:32:16.000 This is the Cambridge Dictionary, which has redefined its definition of woman as a beyond adult female human being, which it formerly was.
00:32:25.000 It's now an adult who lives and identifies as female, though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth.
00:32:31.000 Yeah, but what is that?
00:32:33.000 What is that thing, a female?
00:32:35.000 Let's go to, there's another story I have to cut here.
00:32:39.000 But look, here's the thing.
00:32:40.000 The definition says someone who lives and identifies as a female.
00:32:43.000 So Cambridge can't tell us what the definition of a female is.
00:32:46.000 And they say, well, it's belonging or relating to a woman.
00:32:48.000 It's 100% circular.
00:32:50.000 And they know this because as soon as they lean in on what actually the definition is, it exposes the fraud of the entire trans deal.
00:32:57.000 Okay, that's story number one.
00:32:59.000 And by the way, if you send your child to a government school or most private schools, they will be using the Cambridge dictionary.
00:33:09.000 And the Cambridge Dictionary now uses the trans definition for a woman.
00:33:16.000 Okay, that's story number one.
00:33:18.000 Story number two: this story, this is incredible.
00:33:22.000 This was kind of hiding in the news cycle, and we didn't find this till recently.
00:33:27.000 A few weeks ago, a school board for Detroit Public Schools has voted to remove and scrub Dr. Ben Carson's name off the district of Ben Carson High School of Science and Medicine.
00:33:42.000 It's important to remember that Ben Carson isn't merely a successful surgeon.
00:33:46.000 He's a world-class one.
00:33:47.000 He's the surgeon who performed the first ever successful separation of twins conjoined at the back of the head.
00:33:53.000 He's also the exact kind of figure that children in Detroit's troubled schools in the heavily black communities should be encouraged to look up to.
00:34:01.000 Carson grew up in a broken, poor home with a single mother.
00:34:05.000 According to his own memoirs, he struggled with violent impulse as a child and even attempted to stab his mother.
00:34:11.000 But all those accomplishments are nullified because they say that Trump served in the Trump Carson served in the Trump administration.
00:34:19.000 It's very sad.
00:34:20.000 Ben Carson is a dignified and humble figure, but they don't want young blacks to look up to somebody like Dr. Ben Carson, someone who promotes reading, virtue, character, courage, justice, temperance, prudence.
00:34:34.000 Honestly, Detroit schools don't deserve an alumnus as wise, humble, and accomplished as Ben Carson.
00:34:44.000 It makes you think, since Detroit is removing Ben Carson's name from one of its high schools, if only Ben Carson was a drug addict who robbed a woman at gunpoint and died on a sidewalk, maybe then they had erect statues of him instead of erasing his memory.
