00:01:06.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:09.000 Gavin Newsom is on a media tour right now, and he thinks he's kind of found his whole new vibe and energy after he invited guests.
00:01:17.000 like me on his podcast.
00:01:18.000 It didn't go too well for him.
00:01:20.000 He's now just trying to convince people that he is the fighter to take on Donald Trump.
00:01:26.000 Well, joining us now is Steve Hilton, candidate for governor of California.
00:01:29.000 You guys could check out Steve Hilton for governor dot com Steve, great to see you, my friend.
00:01:34.000 Steve, what do you make of Gavin Newsom's new media circuit?
00:01:38.000 Let's play 426.
00:01:39.000 Then I want your reaction.
00:01:40.000 Play cut 426.
00:01:41.000 The study has ranked the dirtiest cities in all of America.
00:01:44.000 And unfortunately for California, the rankings did not go in our favor.
00:01:48.000 The rankings come from the National Lawn Care Company, Lawn Starter.
00:01:52.000 They analyzed cleanliness in categories such as pollution, living conditions, waste infrastructure and residents' dissatisfaction with the environment.
00:02:01.000 San Bernardino was ranked the dirtiest city both in California and in America.
00:02:06.000 Los Angeles ranked number two on both the state and national list.
00:02:09.000 Detroit, Michigan placed number three followed by Reading, Pennsylvania.
00:02:14.000 Two more California cities placed in the top ten.
00:02:16.000 Ontario was ranked as the fifth dirtiest city.
00:02:19.000 Corona rounded out the top ten at number ten.
00:02:24.000 Yes, Steve.
00:02:25.000 California could not have literally a bigger government to solve this.
00:02:30.000 And we know this to be true.
00:02:31.000 Your thoughts, steve hilton on this topic more broadly well gavin newsom is a total failure and a total joke charlie i mean it's great to be with you um and you know this because you've been on it all along he is the worst government governor in america by far i mean you just this every day there's something new those rankings on the filth and squalor in our great beautiful cities that once were the pride of america in california but every other metric right now in california we have the highest unemployment rate in america We
00:03:01.000 have the highest poverty rate in America, the highest cost for everything that matters, gas, electricity, water, insurance, everything, the most expensive, housing rent you name it we have the worst business climate in america 10 years in a row i mean on and on everything is a disaster so what's he doing this ridiculous incompetent idiot he's running around lecturing everyone about authoritarianism and democracy meanwhile rigging the elections even further in california with his redistricting thing that he claims
00:03:32.000 is all about texas but he gave the game away because at the start of it he said this is really about in his words our opportunity to end the trump presidency so he's just a joke one last thing i'll say charlie is that yes just this week we talk about the dirty cities i was in oakland, California, the Bay Area.
00:03:50.000 I put out a video of it because even to me, and I've been on the road now for years, and I've seen, I thought everything in California, the scale of the squalor that I saw on the homelessness was off the charts.
00:04:03.000 I put out a video and Gavin Newsom himself a year ago, he went to a homeless encampment in LA for some photo op.
00:04:11.000 Nothing like as bad as what I just saw in Oakland this week.
00:04:14.000 Here's the quote from Gavin Newsom.
00:04:17.000 Quote, people are done.
00:04:19.000 If we don't deal with this, we don't deserve to be in office.
00:04:23.000 That was a year ago.
00:04:24.000 He's done nothing.
00:04:25.000 Just as when he sat down with you and agreed with you about the obscenity of biological men in girl sports.
00:04:32.000 He said, yeah, that's massively unfair, deeply unfair, he said.
00:04:36.000 What's he done about it since then?
00:04:38.000 Nothing.
00:04:39.000 This guy is an absolute joke.
00:04:42.000 That's why I'm running for governor, Charlie, because while it's a joke, it's not funny.
00:04:46.000 California is turning into a failed state.
00:04:48.000 We can't let that happen.
00:04:50.000 This is a serious job taking on this corrupt elite.
00:04:53.000 I've been, I was, my parents are Hungarian immigrants, working class.
00:04:57.000 I got to Oxford University.
00:04:59.000 I taught at Stanford University.
00:05:01.000 I started companies on both sides of the Atlantic.
00:05:04.000 I've worked at the highest level in government.
00:05:06.000 I've got the media platform.
00:05:08.000 We need a serious fighter to take on these corrupt elite idiots who are destroying this beautiful state that should be the pride of America.
00:05:18.000 Yeah, and I mean, I I completely agree.
00:05:21.000 And let's just play some of this of Gavin Newsom's press tour.
00:05:24.000 This is him at a political conference today.
00:05:28.000 Yeah, I don't know what he's doing there.
00:05:30.000 Play cut for six, like govern your state.
00:05:32.000 There are still burned cars on the sides of the street in the Pacific Palisades from the fire in December.
00:05:42.000 And that fire was largely because of Gavin Newsom's gross negligence play cut 462 i don't think donald trump wants another election you think for a second you want i have two dozen trump 2028 hats his folks keep sending me and you and you think he's going to run again don't give me you don't who spends 200 million dollars on a ballroom at their home and then leaves the house Okay,
00:06:13.000 so we're obviously getting under his skin.
00:06:15.000 People are trolling him and he doesn't get it, obviously.
00:06:19.000 But also his fake pause, like he thinks he's leading our DiCaprio.
00:06:22.000 Like, oh, let me do this kind of fake pause.
00:06:25.000 Steve, there are immediate and urgent concerns in California.
00:06:30.000 There are burned cars still in Malibu and Gavin Newsom can't get the California Highway Patrol to clean up the burnt cars from December.
00:06:39.000 I know.
00:06:40.000 Look, I was there on the six-month anniversary of the fires and I stood in front to do my press conference.
00:06:47.000 I had people who lost their homes and everything and like all the community there with me.
00:06:51.000 We stood in front of a pile of rubble blocking the sidewalk six months on, right?
00:06:57.000 In January, he said, Gavin Newsom said, we're going to have a quote martial.
00:07:02.000 Marshall Plan, Marshall Plan to rebuild Los Angeles six months on.
00:07:07.000 He can't even clear the sidewalk.
00:07:09.000 I mean, this is the depth of his complete superficiality.
00:07:13.000 He's a complete buffoon.
00:07:15.000 Nothing he says can be taken seriously.
00:07:18.000 But the problem is we've got to take him seriously because he does manage to pull the wool over people's eyes.
00:07:24.000 He's a good performer and the Democrats are lapping it up.
00:07:28.000 They love this stuff.
00:07:29.000 So we've got to take that aspect of it seriously because you cannot have this guy.
00:07:34.000 He's obviously only interested now in running for president, zero interest in dealing with any of the massive problems that he and his corrupt regime have caused in California.
00:07:43.000 He's not interested in California at all, but we can't let him anywhere near the White House.
00:07:50.000 He is so disastrous.
00:07:51.000 And so we got to take that threat very seriously.
00:07:54.000 Yeah, so you mentioned the redistricting.
00:07:56.000 We didn't really cut, we didn't, we didn't land the plane here on this program because there's been so much going on.
00:08:01.000 So did Gavin Newsom officially pass a redistrict?
00:08:05.000 What does that mean?
00:08:06.000 Will that mean there'll be no more Republican seats in the state of California?
00:08:09.000 That story was happening so fast, then it happened kind of over a weekend.
00:08:12.000 So super helpful for you to catch us up to speed on this.
00:08:16.000 I'll just try and lay it out very, very simply.
00:08:19.000 And there's a number of lies that Newsom and the Democrats are saying.
00:08:22.000 First of all, they're saying that we have in California an independent districting process that the people voted for over 10 years ago and that we have fair districts.
00:08:33.000 That is not true.
00:08:34.000 have already gerrymandered California in an obscene and grotesque way far worse than anything Republicans have done.
00:08:42.000 So right now we have roughly 40% of the vote statewide Republicans in California and and that in exchange for that we have 17% of the House seats.
00:08:51.000 If we had fair representation today in California we'd have another 12 House seats.
00:08:56.000 So let's just be clear, he's already stolen 12 house seats.
00:08:59.000 What they've just done is put in a bill in the legislature, which they passed and Gavin Newsom has signed to amend the California Constitution, to officially take the power away from the Citizens Independent Districting Commission,
00:09:15.000 to implement maps that they've already drawn the maps are part of this ballot initiative they're going to put it on the ballot in November it's happening and they're going to pass these maps for the next three congressional cycles and the maps would mean that instead of what we have now which is nine congressional districts for Republicans in California out of 52, there would be four districts.
00:09:42.000 They're going to steal another five.
00:09:44.000 So you're going to end up in a situation where for 40% of the vote minimum, Republicans in California would have six percent of the House seats.
00:09:54.000 It is an outrageous power grab, totally corrupt, and we've got to fight it.
00:10:00.000 Now, I'm fighting to stop it even getting to the ballot.
00:10:04.000 We're working with my lawyers.
00:10:05.000 We're going to be filing a lawsuit next week on constitutional grounds in federal court to try and stop him even getting it to the ballot.
00:10:13.000 Because, by the way, this is going to cost $250 million.
00:10:16.000 $250 million purely.
00:10:20.000 It's basically a donation to his presidential campaign.
00:10:22.000 That's the only reason he's doing it.
00:10:24.000 They claimed that it was responding to Texas at the last minute.
00:10:28.000 They took that out of the legislation.
00:10:30.000 They said, we're only going to do this if Texas goes ahead.
00:10:33.000 And that was a Texas trick.
00:10:35.000 They deleted it from the bill.
00:10:36.000 So it's going to happen anyway.
00:10:38.000 Steve, remind the audience how they can support your campaign.
00:10:41.000 There are three great comedy nights coming up.
00:10:43.000 And if you're in Southern California, go to hollywoodforhilton.com because we got some great events Sunday, Monday, and next week in Southern California.
00:10:53.000 It's a great way to support the campaign.
00:10:55.000 Anyone who's around, we'd love to see you.
00:10:57.000 Hollywood for Hilton.com.
00:10:59.000 Love it.
00:10:59.000 Thank you so much, Steve Hilton.
00:11:01.000 Excellent as always.
00:11:02.000 Thank you so much.
00:11:03.000 Great to see you.
00:11:06.000 Have you ever heard anyone say this is unconstitutional?
00:11:09.000 Do you assume it's just hyperbole?
00:11:11.000 Have you taken the time to study and understand the constitution so you know for yourself what is and what isn't constitutional?
00:11:18.000 That's why I'm so excited that Hillsdale College is offering a brand new free online course called The Federalist.
00:11:24.000 The Federalist papers were written primarily by Alexander Hamilton and James Madison.
00:11:29.000 Together, they explain how the U.S. Constitution established a government strong enough to secure the rights of citizens and safe enough to wield that power.
00:11:38.000 And today it's our responsibility to pay attention, to be vigilant, and you might say, in order to preserve and protect Republican self-government.
00:11:46.000 Hillsdale's online course on the Federalist includes 10 lectures, each about 30 minutes long.
00:11:52.000 You could take the course at your own pace.
00:11:54.000 There's no cost to sign up.
00:11:56.000 Go right now to charlieforhillsdale.com to enroll.
00:11:59.000 There's no cost and it's easy to get started.
00:12:01.000 C-H-A-R-L-I-E for Hillsdale.com to register.
00:12:04.000 Charlieforhillsdale.com.
00:12:08.000 If we do not have control over our great city, then we are not a nation.
00:12:12.000 We're something else.
00:12:14.000 Share of Americans who think crime is a major problem in certain locations.
00:12:19.000 81% of Americans think that crime is a major problem in our large cities.
00:12:24.000 And again, crime is not some sort of mystery.
00:12:27.000 This is not us trying to come up with a vaccine or a pharmaceutical treatment for a virus or a disease.
00:12:35.000 And we need to kind of have a Manhattan Project type thing to bring everyone together.
00:12:40.000 No, this is actually very solvable, very simple, not hard.
00:12:45.000 You need to allow police to do their job you need to put people in jail for longer periods of time you need to increase the amount of police force and increase the amount of force in general on the ground this is not hard the left and the high society part types they want you to think that crime is just normal and you have to put up with it and honestly mayor giuliani and mayor bloomberg showed that you can reduce crime in new york city dramatically Not,
00:13:15.000 it's not, you do not need to have a council of PhDs sitting around and hypothesizing, well, maybe we send social workers.
00:13:26.000 And now the mayor of Washington, DC, Muriel Bowser is thanking President Trump, thanking President Trump saying this surge and this swarm of resources was very good.
00:13:39.000 A complete 180 had to admit it.
00:13:42.000 It completely worked.
00:13:44.000 This is a template for the rest of the country.
00:13:47.000 There has been an 84% drop in car jackings, and Blake made a very good point when we first started.
00:13:53.000 This better work.
00:13:54.000 We better have numbers and data.
00:13:56.000 Like, for example, if car jackings went down 10%, you know, okay, that's a big push, but an 84% drop in car jackings.
00:14:07.000 This is a 99 to 1 issue.
00:14:10.000 If Republicans want to win the future, we need to be harsh on crime.
00:14:15.000 Harsh on crime, not just hard, harsh on crime.
00:14:19.000 People now could be more relaxed at stoplights.
00:14:21.000 People can walk this Labor Day weekend at night in D.C. and not have to worry about some teenager coming up and mugging them.
00:14:30.000 And we've put up with this largely because of an entire class of people.
00:14:35.000 that Rob Henderson calls.
00:14:37.000 We just had an amazing interview with him.
00:14:38.000 Really great.
00:14:38.000 One of my favorite interviews I've done recently of the luxury belief class.
00:14:44.000 His entire theory is that there is a group of people, the ruling class that hold luxury beliefs that are status markers that push policies on the rest of the population that they themselves never have to live under the consequences of.
00:15:03.000 81% of people think that crime is a major problem in major cities.
00:15:08.000 This is an 80, 90% issue.
00:15:12.000 And I think we as Republicans, we need to have a national battle plan and say, why would we not deploy the FBI, the National Guard?
00:15:22.000 Do you know America becomes statistically., a dramatically less murderous, less violent country if you were just to be able to get crime to go down in our 15 largest cities.
00:15:36.000 The crime force in this country is so concentrated in our 15 to 20 highest cities.
00:15:43.000 If you were able to modestly be able to put down the Chicago crime rate, it brings down the entire national crime rate.
00:15:51.000 And this is also a housing issue.
00:15:53.000 People say, Charlie, how do you solve the housing issue?
00:15:56.000 Housing is cheaper for everyone when more neighborhoods are safe.
00:16:00.000 It's an economic issue, a huge amount of growth is lost to crime.
00:16:05.000 This is all a mindset.
00:16:08.000 Crime is a mindset.
00:16:09.000 You get what you put up with.
00:16:11.000 But so many people will tell you that this is a takeover unnecessary.
00:16:19.000 Look at this.
00:16:20.000 This is Ro Khanna, play cut 270, Democrat.
00:16:23.000 In terms of Democrats standing up, should your Senate colleagues hold the government funding, hold their votes back on government funding in a couple of weeks in order to pull something from Republicans, whether that is getting the National Guard out of Washington, D.C., less weaponization of the DOJ, should they be holding back their votes on the funding?
00:16:45.000 Is this even a question?
00:16:46.000 Of course we should.
00:16:47.000 Did we not learn our lesson when we acquiesced early on in the administration?
00:16:52.000 Look, we didn't start off on a good foot.
00:16:54.000 We had Democrats vote for Lake and Riley that is allowed for deportation without due process.
00:17:00.000 We had Democrats vote for capitulation.
00:17:02.000 We need to stand our ground.
00:17:04.000 That you heard right there.
00:17:05.000 That is a leading Democrat in the House that says we absolutely should make DC more murderous.
00:17:10.000 We absolutely should make DC more dangerous.
00:17:13.000 Ro Khanna stands for more car jackings.
00:17:15.000 I would love a chance to talk to these guys.
00:17:17.000 This is such.
00:17:18.000 such a winning issue for us.
00:17:20.000 I'd love to be booked on Eugene Daniel's show.
00:17:23.000 Maybe I should text him.
00:17:25.000 Why would you stand up against less murders?
00:17:28.000 More black people are alive.
00:17:31.000 TikTok has helped U.S. businesses contribute over $24 billion for the U.S. economy.
00:17:36.000 That's real money flowing into small businesses like Arizona Taco King who went viral on TikTok and had $1.3 million in sales in their first year.
00:17:43.000 Now they're hiring more staff to keep up or Bluff Cakes who started as a home baking side hustle and became a national cookie brand or the She Mechanic whose business tripled in just a year with help from TikTok is helping small businesses thrive and now that's adding up to more jobs, more growth and over 24 billion dollars flowing into the US economy.
00:18:03.000 Learn more about TikTok's contribution to the US economy at TikTok economic impact dot com.
00:18:07.000 That is TikTok economic impact dot com.
00:18:11.000 Joining us now is Mary Holland, President and General Counsel of the Children's Health Defense.
00:18:16.000 Mary, great to see you.
00:18:18.000 I know we've been trying to schedule this for quite some time.
00:18:21.000 Mary, you do some very important work.
00:18:24.000 Why don't you introduce yourself and your organization to our audience for those that might not be familiar?
00:18:28.000 Sure.
00:18:29.000 Pleasure to be here, Charlie.
00:18:30.000 Thank you.
00:18:31.000 So Children's Health Defense was founded by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., now the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
00:18:38.000 back in about 2016 and it is devoted to making sure that people understand what are the toxic exposures that are causing the chronic epidemic the epidemic of chronic health in children to hold the culprits accountable and to put in place safeguards so that this doesn't happen again so we have a free newsletter called the defender at children's health defense.org we have a streaming platform that we run every day we do original science and
00:19:07.000 we do litigation to support children's health we focus right now on vaccines and vaccine injury and mandates and exemptions and also on electronomagnetic radiation, we definitely think that people do not fully adequately understand the hazards of the radiation we're all being exposed to, and particularly children.
00:19:27.000 Let's start with the second component there.
00:19:30.000 What do you mean by electromagnetic radiation?
00:19:32.000 You mean Wi-Fi?
00:19:33.000 And what evidence, what studies do you have to support how that might be hurting our children?
00:19:40.000 Sure.
00:19:41.000 So basically, Charlie, the laws went into effect in the early 1990s ahead of widespread use of Wi-Fi and tablets and cell phones and laptops and computers.
00:19:55.000 There's just been an explosion going from 3G to 4G to 5G, working now on 6G, 7G.
00:20:01.000 And there's a tremendous amount of science showing that, especially for developing children, the level of radiation that we're being exposed to, especially things like Wi-Fi and antennas and cell towers, is harmful to some people.
00:20:15.000 And so unfortunately, the law that was passed, the telecommunications act in the late 1990s basically preempted, a federal law preempts any kind of changes at the local level, the city or the municipality or the state level.
00:20:31.000 And so we're working on.
00:20:33.000 that right now.
00:20:34.000 Basically, people who have a cell tower put right next to their house and it's causing strokes or tinnitus or heart attacks or cancer and all those things are real, they need to be able to have some ability to organize and say, no, you can't put it here.
00:20:49.000 You can put it somewhere else where it's not going to harm people in a residential community.
00:20:53.000 So we have something called seven hundred and four no more.
00:20:56.000 It's section seven hundred and four of the Telecommunications Act.
00:20:59.000 And we're challenging that that basically state and local governments have no say in these radiation exposures that can be very harmful.
00:21:08.000 So Bobby Kennedy is the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
00:21:12.000 He worked with your organization for some time, is that right?
00:21:15.000 And how did you get interested in all this?
00:21:18.000 I find that those stories always to be something.
00:21:21.000 I believe he founded actually the Children's Health Defense and now you're carrying the torch forward.
00:21:26.000 Tell us about that story.
00:21:28.000 Sure.
00:21:29.000 So actually, Bobby was, is an environmental lawyer.
00:21:34.000 And he often tells the story that when he was on, you know, giving lectures about mercury toxicity in water, moms would come up to him and say, you know, if you really care about this mercury toxicity issue, you've got to look at vaccines.
00:21:48.000 And so he finally did, and then he went on to the board of something called the World Mercury Project, and then it would change into Children's Health Defense.
00:21:56.000 It's not just mercury that's the only problem in vaccines or the only exposures from all kinds of different sources.
00:22:03.000 So I came on to the board of Children's Health Defense in 2018.
00:22:06.000 I'm the mother of a young adult son who's on the autism spectrum who was vaccine injured.
00:22:12.000 And so I worked on the board and then came on as general counsel in 2019, became president in 2021, briefly worked on Bobby's campaign, but came back as president in 2023 and am carrying the torch but with many others we have a robust staff and and as i say we work in four different areas education advocacy litigation and science yeah and i was you know i've been in this space for 13 years in the conservative movement and i was always struck by when i spoke
00:22:42.000 at these events there would be these moms with piles of documents trying to get my attention around this this was before covid and i was always so struck by the passion and the intensity.
00:22:55.000 Mary, I want to get your reaction to this piece of tape.
00:22:57.000 This is Bobby Kennedy who says he has found and we're finding interventions that are most certainly causing autism.
00:23:04.000 Let's play cut 433.
00:23:06.000 Finding interventions, certain interventions now that are clearly, almost certainly causing autism.
00:23:15.000 And we're going to be able to address those in September.
00:23:17.000 So one in 10,000, and now it's one in 31 or 34 or 12 if it's a boy.
00:23:24.000 Can you imagine that?
00:23:25.000 And that was one in 10,000 not so long ago.
00:23:30.000 Mary, two questions.
00:23:32.000 Number one, what could it be that Bobby's alluding to?
00:23:35.000 Number two, the skeptics would say, no, we've just changed the way that we are formulating it.
00:23:41.000 That we were changing the way that we are formulating or tabulating, I should say autism.
00:23:48.000 It's not that more people have autism, it's that we're changing the way that we're doing the test.
00:23:52.000 What is your response to those two things?
00:23:55.000 Well, first, I just want to say I'm excited that this is now being discussed at a cabinet level because this is a national crisis, right?
00:24:02.000 If you have one in thirty one kids, one in twelve and a half boys in California, within a couple of generations, if it continues at the same pace, you don't have a country.
00:24:11.000 This costs already trillions of dollars.
00:24:13.000 So I'm excited that it's there.
00:24:14.000 What is Bobby Kennedy likely to point to in September?
00:24:17.000 As he's often said, there is no such thing as a genetic epidemic.
00:24:21.000 Obviously, there are environmental toxic exposures that are causing this.
00:24:26.000 And it may not be one factor.
00:24:28.000 So we look a lot, my son has a diagnosis of autism, but basically his early vaccines that included mercury, that included aluminum, that included formaldehyde, that included the antigen, that included viral viruses, they passed through the blood-brain barrier and they caused neurological damage.
00:24:47.000 It's not that hard to figure out.
00:24:49.000 Definitely vaccines are not the only route to autism, but it's the main driver to autism, but many things can cause it.
00:24:57.000 It's basically a toxic exposure that affects the brain.
00:25:01.000 It also affects the rest the rest of the body.
00:25:03.000 Most of the people who, many, many people who have autism have other comorbid conditions like seizures or like gut, severe gut issues.
00:25:14.000 So I don't think it's a huge mystery.
00:25:16.000 Aluminum can cause brain injury.
00:25:18.000 Mercury causes brain injury.
00:25:20.000 Both of those have been used for decades in vaccines.
00:25:23.000 This is not such a big mystery.
00:25:25.000 And Bobby Kennedy has written several books about this, a book about thimerosol, a book called Vaccine Unvax, Let the Science Speak.
00:25:32.000 He's really well versed in this issue.
00:25:35.000 And I think now as Secretary of HHS, he has access to data that he didn't have before.
00:25:40.000 You mentioned your second point, Charlie, is this notion of, oh, we're just, we doctors are so much better at diagnosing.
00:25:45.000 Really, there's no way.
00:25:46.000 We've expanded the definition, right?
00:25:48.000 Yes, exactly.
00:25:49.000 Keep going, but we've expanded the definition.
00:25:51.000 We had a guest recently that said that, please.
00:25:54.000 I want you to walk us through that, please, Mary.
00:25:56.000 Well, I do want to acknowledge, Charlie, that there have been changes in the definition of, we used to have something called Asperger's.
00:26:03.000 We had different things under an autism spectrum diagnosis.
00:26:06.000 We have changed the definitions.
00:26:08.000 We got rid of some.
00:26:09.000 We got rid of Asperger's and pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified.
00:26:14.000 They've definitely been changing around the definitions, which only makes the picture muddier.
00:26:19.000 But as Bobby Kennedy said, and I was at his press conference in April at HHS, there is very clear evidence that there is a real rise.
00:26:27.000 They did a really excellent study back in the 1990s at the beginning of this rise in Wisconsin, and they looked at every factor, and it is very clear that the real number has increased, and some of the best research on this from University of California at Davis, doctor Picciotta, it's clear it's a real rise.
00:26:45.000 This denial that, oh yeah, we're just better at diagnosing or, you know, we think it's quirky kids, that's just nonsense.
00:26:53.000 And also as Bobby Kennedy said, and he was attacked for this in April.
00:26:57.000 He's talking about what he's most concerned about are the cases of profound autism or severe autism.
00:27:04.000 And that's about twenty percent of the total number of people.
00:27:08.000 So yes, there are people who are very high functioning and who would say, Oh, I'm autistic because, you know, I have some repetitive thoughts or I'm socially awkward.
00:27:16.000 That's not what we're talking about.
00:27:18.000 We're talking about the adults who cannot speak, the adults who cannot toilet themselves, the adults who may have multiple seizures every day.
00:27:27.000 We're talking about the people who will never be able to hold a job, who will never be able to pay taxes.
00:27:33.000 That is a profound issue that the country has not been willing to look at because sad to say., it does imply the medical establishment.
00:27:41.000 It does imply the regulars.
00:27:43.000 It does imply the conflicts of interest.
00:27:46.000 And I'm so grateful that Bobby Kennedy is in the position that he is in now, as difficult as it is, and it must be very difficult because he does have the tools now to get the data to persuade the American public.
00:28:00.000 This is what's really happening.
00:28:02.000 These are the facts.
00:28:03.000 This is not the spin.
00:28:05.000 This is not big pharma.
00:28:06.000 This is not big media.
00:28:08.000 These are the facts based on the records we have from Medicare and Medicaid.
00:28:13.000 And so what would you say to some people that?
00:28:17.000 are concerned that if we have lower vaccination rates, we'll see higher rates of otherwise preventable diseases.
00:28:27.000 Please, Mary Holland from the Children's Health Defense.
00:28:30.000 Listen, we don't, we like to imagine that we have herd immunity from these vaccines right now.
00:28:36.000 You know, very few people, very few adults are going back to get their measles shots.
00:28:40.000 We have good treatments for the most severe of these childhood diseases.
00:28:44.000 The most transmissible is measles.
00:28:46.000 We know what to do if someone gets measles.
00:28:49.000 I'm old enough that I had measles.
00:28:51.000 Every child in my family, and there were many had measles.
00:28:54.000 People imagine that these are deathly diseases.
00:28:58.000 These are not deathly diseases.
00:28:59.000 They're really not, and we have good treatments for them.
00:29:02.000 So yes, and some people, there may be a much safer vaccine schedule.
00:29:07.000 There may be much safer ways to make vaccines with different adjuvants.
00:29:11.000 There's a whole opportunity here that we haven't had before.
00:29:14.000 But in my view, the fundamental issue is that people need to be able to make these choices for themselves and their children.
00:29:20.000 The government cannot.
00:29:22.000 mandate an injection that could kill a child, which is the reality that we live with right now.

00:30:26.000 Okay, Mary Holland, in closing here, I want you to talk about the Grace Act.
00:30:30.000 What is the Grace Act being sponsored by Representative Stube?
00:30:34.000 What is your, are you in support of this religious exemptions from childhood vaccine mandates?
00:30:40.000 What is this all about?
00:30:41.000 Right.
00:30:41.000 So this is Representative Stube is going to be dropping a bill in Congress.
00:30:45.000 He has a number of original sponsors.
00:30:47.000 It's called, it's basically guaranteanteeing religion, religious rights in the state.
00:30:52.000 So under our First Amendment to the Constitution, free exercise of religion is right there at the very top of what are our rights under the federal constitution.
00:31:02.000 And four states, including my home state of New York, do not have any religious exemptions to vaccination.
00:31:08.000 Forty six states do.
00:31:10.000 Ensuring that parents who have religious convictions against vaccines for many different reasons, for my body is my temple, for they don't want anything cultured in aborted fetal cell lines, they don't want anything from a different species and purity of the blood, lots of different religious concerns.
00:31:28.000 Those parents should have The right to that opportunity for their children to have them be free from vaccines.
00:31:35.000 And this bill would state simply that this, that Congress can pass this.
00:31:40.000 Congress has the right to enforce religious rights under the Restoration of Religious Freedom Act, RIFRA from 1993 under the First Amendment, and this would cut off federal education funding to any state that does not have a religious exemption.
00:31:56.000 So a state can continue not to have a religious exemption if it so chooses, but it would forego federal educational money.
00:32:04.000 I think it's long overdue, Charlie.
00:32:06.000 We actually at Children's Health Defense believes that there should be no medical mandates.
00:32:11.000 The idea of a medical mandate putting the population above the individual is antithetical to human rights and to medical ethics.
00:32:19.000 So we are very clear that there should be no medical mandates at all.
00:32:23.000 But while there are, we want families to be able to opt out of them, and we have a right to religious freedom in this country, thankfully.
00:32:32.000 And so I'm very happy that Children's Health Defense is supporting the Grace Act by Representative Stuby.
00:32:38.000 And closing, what other work are you doing, Mary?
00:32:40.000 We have a minute remaining that you want our audience to be aware of.
00:32:42.000 What is the website?
00:32:43.000 How can people get involved?
00:32:44.000 Because there's a lot of people in people in our audience that are having difficulty navigating this.
00:32:49.000 They have questions.
00:32:50.000 They don't always know what they believe about this topic, but they also know that there's something wrong about giving an eighteen month old the COVID shot.
00:32:58.000 I mean, that one is just ridiculous.
00:33:00.000 Charlie, not an eighteen month old.
00:33:02.000 It had been six month olds that had been recommended.
00:33:05.000 There's a lot going on.
00:33:07.000 The good news here is there's a lot going on in this space.
00:33:09.000 So we're at children'shealthdefense dot org and we have a free newsletter, the Defender, you can sign up for.
00:33:16.000 We have streaming every day at 10 a.m.
00:33:18.000 We bring on doctors and scientists and lawyers to talk about these issues.
00:33:22.000 And we would welcome you and you can send in your questionsons.
00:33:25.000 We have people who answer the phone.
00:33:27.000 We want to be there for you and your children so that you can have healthy lives and you can practice your faith as you see fit.
00:33:36.000 Mary Holland from the Children's Health Defense.
00:33:38.000 Thank you for your time.
00:33:39.000 Talk to you soon.
00:33:39.000 Thank you.
00:33:40.000 Okay, everybody, we have big breaking news.
00:33:44.000 The Democrats have a new fight song.
00:33:46.000 It is college football season.
00:33:47.000 You know, we got the huge game on Saturday.
00:33:51.000 We got Texas, Ohio State.
00:33:52.000 You know, you could just, you could just sing some of the great fight songs of college football.
00:33:59.000 You just hear them.
00:34:00.000 The Notre Dame fight song, you know, the.
00:34:03.000 Michigan fight song Danny's Danny loves the Michigan fight.
00:34:06.000 We should play the Michigan fight song every day.
00:34:10.000 And Ohio State, I think Ohio State's fight song, I don't know what it is actually.
00:34:14.000 The FSU fight song, which is probably the most annoying.
00:34:20.000 It just makes my skin crawl.
00:34:22.000 I mean, I Ryan, you like that?
00:34:24.000 Come on.
00:34:25.000 You, you, if you've never been to a Florida State football game, USC actually has a very good fight song.
00:34:30.000 USC has an objectively good fight song.
00:34:32.000 I got it.
00:34:33.000 I don't like SC.
00:34:34.000 I like Notre Dame is very good.
00:34:39.000 I think that's Notre Dame, right?
00:34:40.000 Yeah, I think that is.
00:34:41.000 But now the Democrats have their own fight song.
00:34:44.000 Am I right?
00:34:45.000 Is that, yep, I was right.
00:34:46.000 But now the Democrats, they have their own fight song.
00:34:49.000 And they're going to be really a force to be reckoned with.
00:34:52.000 This will be up there with the jump around UW-Madison tradition.
00:34:56.000 This will be up there with the organ fight song.
00:34:59.000 This will be up there.
00:35:00.000 Everybody, I can't tell you.
00:35:02.000 They have released their new fight song at the Democrat National Convention.
00:35:06.000 Play cut 493.
00:35:07.000 D-E-M-S We rise Stronger together blue skies Lift your arms your moisture bold and true Onwards, Democrats, we shine blue.
00:35:35.000 E-E-M-S We rise!
00:35:38.000 Okay, so they released the words and Let's do this again.
00:35:51.000 D E M S, we rise.
00:35:54.000 Stronger together, blue skies lift your voice we're bold and true onward democrats we shine blue that that is the the new fight song i mean honestly sounds like an AI wrote it.
00:36:08.000 That's like a large language model.
00:36:09.000 This is now the Democrats answer.
00:36:12.000 I mean, this is totally the words an AI would come up with.
00:36:14.000 There it is on screen, everybody.
00:36:16.000 Let's say it together.
00:36:17.000 D E M S, we rise stronger together, blue skies.
00:36:25.000 Lift your voice.
00:36:26.000 We're bold and true.
00:36:28.000 Onward Democrats, we shine blue.
00:36:32.000 Yeah, they're a pretty aimless bunch right now.
00:36:35.000 The downfall of Democrats being cool needs to be studied in a book and needs to be a masterclass start taught at every major university.
00:36:45.000 How Democrats went from the cool party when I first started Turning Point USA, put this back up on screen to this.
00:36:52.000 This is something that would come up at a Democrat bingo hall.
00:36:57.000 You know, that's what we need.
00:36:58.000 We need a fight song.
00:37:00.000 It's just so cringe.
00:37:02.000 Nothing is less cool than a Democrat activist right now.
00:37:06.000 When you think of just a model Democrat, you're like, I don't want to spend time on that.
00:37:09.000 They're just going to scold me and police my language.
00:37:12.000 The only cool people on the left.
00:37:15.000 hate Democrats.
00:37:17.000 And if they, if you actually want to end up being cool, you have to be a Mom Dani level communist.
00:37:22.000 So say it with me, everybody.
00:37:23.000 DEMS, we rise.
00:37:25.000 Stronger together, blue skies.
00:37:27.000 Lift your voice.
00:37:27.000 We're bold and true.
00:37:28.000 Do you know how you know it's AI?
00:37:30.000 Because of that little line.
00:37:31.000 AI uses that line a lot more than humans do.
00:37:34.000 The between Democrats and we, that whatever they call it.
00:37:36.000 That's how you know AI wrote it.
00:37:38.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:37:39.000 Email us as always freedom at charliekirk dot com dot Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
