00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody.
00:00:00.000 What is the limiting belief of the conservative movement?
00:00:03.000 We dive into that and reflect on a very candid episode here on the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:00:33.000 That is tpusa.com.
00:00:38.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:39.000 Here we go.
00:00:40.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:42.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:44.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:47.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:51.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:52.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:53.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:00:54.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:01:00.000 Turning point USA.
00:01:01.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:10.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:13.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:22.000 I have the greatest job on the planet.
00:01:25.000 I get fulfillment, purpose in what I do.
00:01:29.000 Not only do I get three hours with you every single day, three podcasts a day, reaching millions of people, social media and podcasting.
00:01:36.000 I also, of course, my continued and original passion is running Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action.
00:01:44.000 Turning Point USA, we have hundreds of full-time staffers working on high school and college campuses across the country, Turning Point Action.
00:01:51.000 We are staffing up and staffing up 60 to 70 full-time people and getting even more.
00:01:55.000 As you know, we have our ballot chasing operation.
00:01:57.000 And as part of my duties as founder and CEO of Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action, I have to raise a fair amount of money.
00:02:06.000 And I don't mind it.
00:02:07.000 You know, the Lord has blessed us significantly.
00:02:10.000 I kind of cringe at times when people are too hard on this idea of donors.
00:02:14.000 There are some amazing donors in the conservative movement.
00:02:16.000 We are evidence of that at Turning Point USA.
00:02:18.000 Donors that get it, donors that are based, donors that are driven, donors that are filled with faith and conviction.
00:02:24.000 It's not a majority of all the quote-unquote donors.
00:02:26.000 There's plenty that don't get it.
00:02:28.000 And on this program, we're able to deliver predictions, insight that I think other shows aren't because we're in the grassroots.
00:02:36.000 I give hundreds of speeches a year.
00:02:37.000 Tonight, we're doing an event with Riley Gaines at Dream City Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
00:02:43.000 This weekend, I'm giving a couple speeches in Lubbock, Texas at a church.
00:02:47.000 So I talk to the grassroots.
00:02:49.000 I talk to pastors, but I also have an interesting wrinkle as well that I think we're able to offer on this program that other programs aren't.
00:02:56.000 I talk to the people in the high society of the Republican Party, senators, consultants, chiefs of staff, and the more moderate wing of donors, if you will.
00:03:07.000 So I get a 360-degree multi-dimensional view of the American right.
00:03:15.000 And I'm very blessed by that.
00:03:17.000 And so I kind of have to weigh, depending on what room I'm in, I just read the temperature.
00:03:21.000 I always ask more questions than not because people know what I believe.
00:03:25.000 If they ask me questions, I'll answer them, but let me just watch the show.
00:03:27.000 So I'm always interested.
00:03:28.000 I just kind of pepper with questions.
00:03:29.000 What are you seeing?
00:03:30.000 What are you hearing?
00:03:30.000 What are you doing?
00:03:33.000 And it's so interesting.
00:03:34.000 It is with some donors.
00:03:38.000 Again, we have some amazing donors at Turning Point.
00:03:40.000 So I'm going to just put that off to the side.
00:03:41.000 But some donors where I'm not, let's just say they're not exactly sympatico with all of our views here on the Charlie Kirk show, especially if they are not sympathetic for Trump, which is fine.
00:03:52.000 I mean, I'm not here to say you have to love Trump.
00:03:54.000 You have to understand what's happening.
00:03:56.000 But there was one conversation recently that I want to fill you in on that I think is something that is a big danger and it's not isolated to just a particular person.
00:04:08.000 I think it's all throughout the leadership of the Republican Party.
00:04:12.000 And it was a conversation that I had recently with a moderate donor and we get along well.
00:04:16.000 And you hear me talk about these conversations frequently because I have them frequently.
00:04:20.000 I'm raising money all the time, trying to raise $100 million to go chase ballots in Arizona, Wisconsin, and Georgia, the stuff the Republican establishment should be doing.
00:04:27.000 Literally, when I'm done with this program, I go into my office, eat something quickly.
00:04:31.000 I'm just working the phones, working the phone, Zoom call, phone call, Zoom call, phone call, Zoom call, phone call.
00:04:37.000 I love it.
00:04:38.000 It gives life purpose.
00:04:40.000 But this one conversation recently, I think, accurately depicts one of the issues facing the American right.
00:04:47.000 And I call it the fallacy of limits.
00:04:51.000 What is a limiting belief?
00:04:54.000 A limiting belief is a story that you tell yourself.
00:05:00.000 We all have limiting beliefs.
00:05:02.000 And if you're honest with yourselves, when you pray, when you meditate, when you reflect, when you ruminate, you identify your limiting belief and you try to challenge it.
00:05:10.000 A limiting belief holds you back and it holds you back from becoming who or what you are meant to be.
00:05:18.000 These beliefs limit us from reaching our fullest potential.
00:05:24.000 They're often subconscious, by the way.
00:05:26.000 They're very rarely identified in your normal thought pattern or in your words.
00:05:32.000 But when you find them, you're like, wow, I was living under the tyranny of a limiting belief.
00:05:36.000 I was also not as free, happy, joyful as I possibly could have been.
00:05:43.000 We don't even know that until somebody points them out to us.
00:05:46.000 Typically, limiting beliefs are identified externally, a friend, a pastor, a priest, a rabbi, a parent, a spouse.
00:05:56.000 They say, you realize that your limiting belief is, I don't have time to work out.
00:06:02.000 Or my limiting belief is I can never lose weight.
00:06:06.000 Or my limiting belief is XYZ XYZ.
00:06:09.000 Now, Tony Robbins talks about this a lot.
00:06:11.000 Tony Robbins writes about this.
00:06:13.000 He's not a political guy.
00:06:14.000 He's one of the most influential authors and speakers.
00:06:16.000 I've benefited a lot from his teachings.
00:06:18.000 Maybe you like him.
00:06:19.000 Maybe you don't.
00:06:19.000 The point is he talks a lot about limiting beliefs.
00:06:21.000 I think he's right on.
00:06:23.000 What is the limiting belief or the fallacy of limits in the high society of the American right?
00:06:32.000 I'm hearing it more and more and more.
00:06:36.000 And it goes something like this.
00:06:39.000 Oh, the left, they're going to back off soon.
00:06:44.000 They've overreached and they're going to back off.
00:06:51.000 That the left is going to realize that they've gone too far, that they're too radical, that they're too fringe, and they're just going to kind of go backwards.
00:07:00.000 Now, the more I hear this, and we've touched on this before, it's very important.
00:07:06.000 You have to understand that many of these people saying this are in their 70s and 80s.
00:07:11.000 Obviously, nothing wrong with that.
00:07:13.000 But they remember a country that is dead, and it's very hard for them to reconfigure, to reanalyze, reorient that they're in a different atmosphere than the one they grew up in.
00:07:27.000 I sympathize with that.
00:07:29.000 I really do.
00:07:31.000 I'm 29 years old, and the country I grew up in is completely different, completely different.
00:07:37.000 Our federal government now says men give birth.
00:07:39.000 We don't have a border.
00:07:40.000 I mean, the stuff that we now accept as normal was considered radical, unthinkable, a laugh or a joke when I was in fifth or sixth grade.
00:07:47.000 So it's even worse if you're 70 or 80 years old.
00:07:49.000 You're looking around and you say, what on earth is going on?
00:07:53.000 However, the limiting belief that still exists, it's not just that, oh, the country is going to solve itself.
00:07:59.000 It's that there's some sort of auto-correct mechanism built in to the American people.
00:08:04.000 That's what I hear a lot.
00:08:05.000 It's like, oh, Charlie, never underestimate the American people's ability to self-correct.
00:08:10.000 What are we, like an autonomous vehicle?
00:08:12.000 What kind of crazy fallacy is that?
00:08:14.000 That we're just going to kind of automatically reorient back to where we need to be.
00:08:18.000 No, it takes effort.
00:08:20.000 That's an act of the will.
00:08:21.000 It needs to be deliberate.
00:08:23.000 It needs to be intentional.
00:08:24.000 You have to be persuasive.
00:08:25.000 That just doesn't happen by some sort of magical force of the natural law.
00:08:32.000 Providence favors the obedient.
00:08:34.000 You just don't kind of keep your head down and be like, well, never bet against Americans.
00:08:38.000 Why was it that Americans always self-corrected?
00:08:40.000 Because of courageous people like Eisenhower and MacArthur, Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton, who stepped up.
00:08:50.000 It just doesn't happen ex-nihilo out of nothing.
00:08:53.000 Oh, wow.
00:08:54.000 Look, we just self-correct.
00:08:56.000 And so I'm hearing this more and more.
00:08:59.000 Charlie, the left is going to, they're going to back off.
00:09:02.000 They've gone too far.
00:09:05.000 They're going to all of a sudden realize, wow, this is too much.
00:09:09.000 This has no evidence whatsoever.
00:09:13.000 It is what we call happy talk.
00:09:17.000 Feels good.
00:09:19.000 Sounds good.
00:09:22.000 Sounds good when you're on the Aspen ski lift with your Prosecco, sipping it and saying, oh, it's all going to be fine.
00:09:32.000 It's delusional, is what it is.
00:09:36.000 The limiting belief that we are stuck in, we are stuck in this mud, like the Burning Man pagans are stuck in mud.
00:09:44.000 We are stuck in the mud of the limiting belief that the bad guys are going to have some sort of come to Jesus moment and back off.
00:09:53.000 And what is the tie-in to this today?
00:09:56.000 Jack Smith is just getting warmed up.
00:09:58.000 Jack Smith is not done, according to CNN, with Donald Trump and his entourage.
00:10:02.000 He is going to, they are going to put forward more charges likely.
00:10:06.000 They are just getting warmed up.
00:10:09.000 Proud boy is going to be facing 22 years in prison despite the fact he wasn't there on January 6th.
00:10:13.000 We are seeing sentencing that is more for child, more than for child rapists and smugglers.
00:10:18.000 This is chapter one, verse one.
00:10:21.000 This is the bereshit in the beginning of the tyranny of the left wing.
00:10:26.000 There is no end to it naturally.
00:10:28.000 We must stop it forcefully.
00:10:32.000 I want to talk about relieffactor.com.
00:10:34.000 I want you guys to check out relieffactor.com, 100% drug-free, knee pain, back pain, joint pain, elbow pain.

00:11:03.000 Check it out right now, relieffactor.com, relieffactor.com.
00:11:09.000 We have the best audience.
00:11:10.000 Somebody emailed us, freedom at charliekirk.com from Conway, Arkansas.
00:11:16.000 Mark said, Charlie, how many times have you heard, quote, there's no way the government would do this or get away with doing something?
00:11:24.000 That is such a smart point.
00:11:26.000 That's exactly what we are talking about.
00:11:28.000 It's exactly what we are talking about.
00:11:31.000 We have these limiting beliefs.
00:11:32.000 Oh, this would not happen in America.
00:11:35.000 I had a conversation with somebody yesterday.
00:11:36.000 They said, Charlie, I don't even recognize the country I grew up in.
00:11:39.000 And that kind of confusion is intentional because the country you remember has been broken.
00:11:48.000 Really, there has been a new founding.
00:11:50.000 And by the way, they look at themselves and their project, which to the normies, to the Republicans that don't think very deeply, which by the way, is most of your elected Republicans.
00:11:58.000 They're not very smart.
00:11:59.000 They don't think very deeply about stuff.
00:12:01.000 There's some great ones, but most of them are just not really all there.
00:12:04.000 Is that they're like, wow, it's so confusing.
00:12:07.000 The left looks at themselves as a founding generation.
00:12:11.000 The left looks at themselves as trying to refound the country.
00:12:16.000 They don't like the Constitution.
00:12:18.000 They hate it.
00:12:19.000 It's too slow.
00:12:20.000 It's too deliberate.
00:12:21.000 It's too intentional.
00:12:23.000 So they're trying to refound the country into something new.
00:12:26.000 And how do you first, what's the first step of doing that?
00:12:29.000 Well, there's many steps.
00:12:30.000 They started the cultural revolution, and now they're in the phase of locking up anybody who is a threat.
00:12:36.000 Get O'Keefe figured out.
00:12:38.000 Get Tucker off the airwaves.
00:12:39.000 Get Bannon in federal prison.
00:12:41.000 Get Donald Trump in federal prison.
00:12:43.000 You see the pattern.
00:12:44.000 And most Republicans are like, well, let's just let this end.
00:12:47.000 Again, the analogy I hear is we're in the midst of a storm and let the storm blow over.
00:12:52.000 That is the attitude amongst most moderate establishment Republicans right now.
00:12:57.000 Things are really crazy.
00:12:59.000 Let's just let it blow over.
00:13:01.000 Let's just let people get it out of their system.
00:13:03.000 If you understand anything about how the Marxists, the cultural Marxists, the Hegelians operate, this is simply part of a process that will never end.
00:13:12.000 They're going to grind you down to a halt until you're completely abolished.
00:13:17.000 They call this eternally in their philosophical documents and in their writings, ironing out or eliminating the contradictions.
00:13:27.000 By eliminating the contradictions, what are they saying?
00:13:29.000 They're saying we're getting rid of people who disagree.
00:13:32.000 You.
00:13:33.000 This is why speech is not a value.
00:13:35.000 A lot of people say, well, Charlie, what about the First Man has been dead for a while?
00:13:38.000 It has been and will be.
00:13:40.000 They don't believe in it.
00:13:41.000 Because by definition, when you have freedom of speech, you have different factions.
00:13:46.000 You have different parties.
00:13:47.000 They want to iron out those contradictions.
00:13:49.000 They want uniformity.
00:13:51.000 They want totalitarianism of thought.
00:13:55.000 They're getting close to it.
00:13:57.000 Now, despite all of this, this is only intensifying their attacks.
00:14:01.000 It is by no coincidence that we have this CUT 29 about to play, while simultaneously, Jack Smith keeps his grand jury open.
00:14:12.000 It's like the sword of Damocles that just stays open at any time.
00:14:15.000 It could fall on you.
00:14:17.000 We're going to keep the grand jury going.
00:14:20.000 We're going to keep the investigations humming.
00:14:23.000 And it's not necessarily even working, but I'll be honest, we have not seen any backlash from major Republican leaders.
00:14:35.000 We've kind of seen a little bit of a press release and an op-ed.
00:14:38.000 The House Republicans should be defunding the Department of Justice, period.
00:14:42.000 Shut down the government over it.
00:14:44.000 Draw a line in the sand, September 30th, we're done.
00:14:47.000 Jack Smith, we're done.
00:14:48.000 Merrick Garland, we're done.
00:14:50.000 Even when I ask some Republicans to come on the show, they say, oh, well, the DOJ does a lot of good work.
00:14:55.000 Shut it down.
00:14:56.000 To all the human smuggling and child sex trafficking stuff, give it to local AGs or local DAs for the time being.
00:15:02.000 Shut it down.
00:15:03.000 Figure it out.
00:15:04.000 Jack Smith, your money is over.
00:15:07.000 You're putting J6 defendants in pre-trial detention.
00:15:10.000 Instead, we're seeing Republican congressmen that are saying, oh, well, you know, we have to have the back of Merrick Garland because they want to be protected by the Unit Party and by the regime.
00:15:24.000 But it's not working.
00:15:25.000 And their acceleration against the American people, their warfare against you, is just in the beginning stages.
00:15:32.000 There is something we could do about it, obviously.
00:15:33.000 We know what it is.
00:15:34.000 We've talked about it on this program, but play cut 29.
00:15:37.000 We're seeing what is basically a one-man race for the Republican presidential nomination.
00:15:43.000 Take a look here.
00:15:43.000 Our brand new numbers.
00:15:45.000 This is a one-man race.
00:15:46.000 And look at where we had it in June.
00:15:48.000 And you see the movement here.
00:15:50.000 Donald Trump is getting stronger as a frontrunner.
00:15:53.000 He is up five percentage points compared to where he was in June.
00:15:58.000 And look at Ron DeSantis.
00:15:59.000 He is slipping.
00:16:00.000 Right now you're seeing a Donald Trump-dominated race, and Donald Trump's getting stronger.
00:16:05.000 And Donald Trump is getting stronger.
00:16:08.000 So their crusade against the American people, their blitzkrieg against you, it's just starting.
00:16:17.000 One of the reasons we don't fight is our side has a limiting belief.
00:16:23.000 The limiting belief is that things will get better.
00:16:25.000 I had one person tell me, oh, the left, they will eventually go to their better angels.
00:16:34.000 For 10 years, Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
00:16:39.000 When I say only, trust me, they're the only one.
00:16:41.000 Glenn and a team have been great supporters of mine and Turning Point USA, which is why I'm proud to partner with them.
00:16:46.000 Patriot Mobile offers dependable nationwide coverage, giving you the ability to access all three major networks, which means you get the same coverage you've been accustomed to without funding the left.
00:16:57.000 When you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're sending the message that you support free speech, religious freedom, the sanctity of life, Second Amendment, and our military veterans and first responder heroes.
00:17:06.000 Their 100% U.S.-based customer service team makes switching easy.

00:17:36.000 So Mike Pence.
00:17:39.000 Mike Pence embodies the old Republican mindset perfectly.
00:17:45.000 Not just ideologically, we're going to unpack that, but also just from an attitude standpoint.
00:17:50.000 There is a smugness to Mike Pence that really bothers me lately.
00:17:55.000 Dare I say almost like sanctimonious.
00:17:58.000 Mike Pence is doing a speaking tour about how we have to reject populism.
00:18:05.000 Makes you wonder, was Mike Pence actively undermining Donald Trump all throughout the Trump presidency if he didn't agree with the populist nationalist current through the MAGA movement?
00:18:17.000 So let's get our terms right.
00:18:20.000 I'm a conservative populist nationalist.
00:18:22.000 What is a populist though?
00:18:24.000 It means you listen to your voters.
00:18:24.000 Very simple.
00:18:26.000 It's that simple.
00:18:28.000 You don't need some massive dissertation.
00:18:30.000 You don't need some sort of stupid moron from Harvard to tell you differently.
00:18:35.000 It means that you listen to your voters.
00:18:38.000 The restoration of the will of the people, not the will of the administrative state, not the will of the insiders, not a will of the oligarchs.
00:18:50.000 Mike Pence is a paid-for mascot for the neoliberal order.
00:18:57.000 As we've detailed before, and you could tell this to your friends and you'll impress them, neoliberalism is the dominant ideology in both the Democrat and Republican party in the leadership.
00:19:08.000 There are three issues, there's others, but there are three issues that largely drive neoliberalism.
00:19:15.000 Number one, the unlimited flow of people into a nation.
00:19:21.000 Just let them all in.
00:19:23.000 It's number one.
00:19:25.000 Both the Republican leadership and the Democrat leadership are all on board.
00:19:30.000 Change the country demographically.
00:19:33.000 Lower the wages.
00:19:35.000 Number two, bring in as much garbage as you possibly can.
00:19:42.000 Plastic, textiles, make everything overseas if possible.
00:19:47.000 They call this free trade when in reality it is product dumping.
00:19:53.000 And we have seen the country become poorer, more depressed, less happy, less purposeful, the more we've engaged in the amazing songs of free trade.
00:20:07.000 It's been bad deals for the country.
00:20:08.000 Donald Trump was the only president to say, this is not smart.
00:20:12.000 Free trade does not make the middle class wealthier.
00:20:16.000 makes the oligarchs wealthier.
00:20:19.000 The third one, which is truly the Holy Grail.
00:20:23.000 And I want to have Vivek back on the show, Andrew, if you could make a note.
00:20:26.000 I've been texting with him.
00:20:27.000 He's been treated very unfairly, very unfairly.
00:20:29.000 And I think he's having a lot of courage in how he's standing up against the war mongers, which is invade the world.
00:20:37.000 So if you had to summarize all three, it's invade the world, invite the world, and import plastic.
00:20:46.000 That's neoliberalism.
00:20:48.000 For the last 40 years, the leadership of the Republican Party and the leadership of the Democrat Party have agreed on this, and they have their silly little disputes about how much money they want to borrow and spend.
00:21:00.000 But in reality, the big three, the holy relics, go untouched until Donald Trump comes in.
00:21:07.000 He questioned, boom, boom, boom.
00:21:10.000 Close the borders, end the wars, make stuff in America.
00:21:14.000 That will get you 500 years in federal prison because now you're going after the money.
00:21:20.000 You're going after the money.
00:21:24.000 As Jesus, our Lord said, the love of money is the root of all evil.
00:21:28.000 And Trump said, yeah, you know, we actually don't need to have hundreds of billions of dollars of plastic coming into America while Ohio workers are dying of fentanyl overdoses.
00:21:39.000 We don't need to have 5 million people cross into our country in an all-out invasion.
00:21:44.000 Why are we in Afghanistan?
00:21:45.000 Why are we funding Ukraine?
00:21:46.000 These questions you're not allowed to ask.
00:21:47.000 Remember, Donald Trump gets called a liar all the time.
00:21:52.000 And in reality, Donald Trump is hated because of the truths he tells, not because of the lies that they accuse him of.
00:21:59.000 Very important.
00:22:02.000 So Mike Pence is now going on this PR tour, saying that we have to get back to the roots of conservatism.
00:22:09.000 There are several points of feedback I want to make on this piece of tape here.
00:22:14.000 It's 45 seconds.
00:22:15.000 I'm going to listen to the whole thing.
00:22:17.000 I'm going to talk about the ideological, talk about the smugness, talk about his vocab choice.
00:22:22.000 I'm talking about what's really going on here.
00:22:23.000 We have an unprecedented 100-year war.
00:22:27.000 You've lived through a 100-year war.
00:22:28.000 Did you know that?
00:22:29.000 Well, you didn't live through all 100, but you are at the end of a 110-year war.
00:22:35.000 Started in 1913.
00:22:36.000 What war is that?
00:22:37.000 It's a war in the United States Constitution launched by Woodrow Wilson of the birth of the administrative state.
00:22:42.000 Mike Pence doesn't care about that.
00:22:44.000 Mike Pence cares about making sure the pimp, the foreigner, Zelensky, gets all the money.
00:22:50.000 They just spent another billion to Ukraine today.
00:22:53.000 Listen to this piece of tape.
00:22:55.000 Mike Pence, PlayCut 27.
00:22:57.000 Our digital team got a copy of your speech today, Bill.
00:23:00.000 And one of the lines you're set to deliver is, are we going to follow the siren song of populism away from the timeless conservative principles of the Republican Party?
00:23:10.000 To whom are you referring?
00:23:12.000 Right.
00:23:14.000 Well, look, you look at this Republican field, whether it's my former running mate or some of his imitators, and there is a push in this Republican primary to move us away from our party's historic commitment to American leadership on the world stage, to a commitment to fiscal responsibility and reform in the face of a massive national debt crisis.
00:23:38.000 And many of those people I shared the stage with, including my former running mate who wasn't there, want to marginalize the right to life and relegate it to a state's only issue.
00:23:47.000 My former running mate.
00:23:55.000 Mike Pence, you were picking corn in Carmel, Indiana, until Donald Trump called you up and made you relevant again.
00:24:01.000 You would have been lucky to be on the board of supervisors at a local Indiana community college until Donald Trump resurrected your political career.
00:24:09.000 My old co-worker, what naked disrespect for the man who believed in you, made it sound like it was your old pal that you used to jog around the lake with.
00:24:22.000 My former running mate, might as well say my old co-worker.
00:24:27.000 And enough of the fake stoicism and the Midwestern preacher Baptist vibe, where you have every other sentence you got to kind of blend into the other.
00:24:38.000 Hey, let me tell you, Bill, I don't really like the way that the former kind of rolling into one.
00:24:46.000 Enough.
00:24:47.000 We're not buying this kind of synthetic robo robotic stuff.
00:24:52.000 And I got along with you for years, Vice President Pence.
00:24:54.000 It pains me to do this.
00:24:56.000 You always treated me well when I'm Air Force 2 together and all this, but this whole shtick is garbage.
00:25:01.000 It's bad for you.
00:25:02.000 It's bad for the country.
00:25:03.000 It's bad for the movement.
00:25:05.000 And it's kind of fake stoicism.
00:25:08.000 We have to reject the siren song of populism.
00:25:13.000 What the heck were you doing as vice president?
00:25:16.000 You were the one that was telling us that what Donald Trump was doing was great.
00:25:20.000 Donald Trump is beating Pence by 60 points right now.
00:25:23.000 60 points.
00:25:24.000 The people have picked someone not named you, Pence.
00:25:27.000 But let's just kind of remind ourselves, time out here.
00:25:31.000 Mike Pence was the vice president.
00:25:34.000 Did he disagree?
00:25:35.000 Was he undermining Donald Trump's withdrawal from Afghanistan?
00:25:38.000 Was he undermining the trade deals?
00:25:41.000 Was he undermining the mandate of the MAGA voters?
00:25:45.000 Was he Brutus?
00:25:48.000 Cassius?
00:25:50.000 And Dante's Inferno.
00:25:52.000 The ninth circle of hell is reserved for traders.
00:25:59.000 And I'm not saying that's what Pence did.
00:26:00.000 Many of you believe that in the audience, but he's certainly talking as if he's diametrically opposed to everything that the administration he was the vice president of was doing.
00:26:12.000 Everything.
00:26:13.000 As if he was some sort of an outsider.
00:26:16.000 As if he was just some sort of spectator.
00:26:20.000 Were you actively undermining the president of the United States while you were there?
00:26:24.000 The agenda, the legislative goals and accomplishments?
00:26:27.000 He says, Well, you know, some people don't want us to be the leader of the world.
00:26:32.000 This is neocon, delusional talk.
00:26:35.000 Don't fall for it.
00:26:37.000 You want to know, do you hate crony capitalism?
00:26:39.000 Do you hate big government?
00:26:42.000 The most crony activity of all the things that human beings do is war.
00:26:50.000 It's awful.
00:26:51.000 The blood, the suffering, the graft, the deceit.
00:26:56.000 War is the worst thing.
00:26:59.000 And yet, Mike Pence says, well, you know, some of my former running mate, all you have to say is you have to say, look, the former president, have a little bit of a respect, man, for at least the office of the presidency.
00:27:14.000 And if you, I bet we could find an artist, I bet we could find an interview.
00:27:17.000 Does he call Joe Biden my former opponent?
00:27:22.000 No, he probably calls him President Biden.
00:27:25.000 My former running mate?
00:27:30.000 Man, who needs Democrats?
00:27:33.000 Why do we need Chuck Yu Schumer and AOC?
00:27:36.000 We have Republicans like this.
00:27:39.000 And then he's going on this sanctimonious, stoic, fake stoic lecture.
00:27:44.000 We need to reject whatever you stand for, I'm against, man.
00:27:50.000 Really bothers me.
00:27:53.000 Let's play another piece of tape here.
00:27:55.000 Play cut 34.
00:27:57.000 And I have questions for them.
00:27:59.000 I want to say to Chris Christie, sir, you have been a champion.
00:28:04.000 to the left right now because you have told the truth about Donald Trump.
00:28:07.000 So when they asked you, would you vote for him?
00:28:10.000 Why were you hesitant in raising your hand?
00:28:13.000 The others all raised their hands, even after we know that he has committed all these crimes, that he is an insurrectionist, that he is trying to overthrow this government.
00:28:22.000 And yet they said they would vote for him.
00:28:24.000 That is pathetic and really unacceptable.
00:28:27.000 Well, well, and unforgivable.
00:28:30.000 One of my short-term projects is to try to get the Republican Party as conservative as its voters.
00:28:36.000 The Democrat Party is actually in lockstep with their progressive base.
00:28:40.000 They're going for it.
00:28:41.000 Borders are open.
00:28:42.000 They're transing the kids.
00:28:43.000 They're cutting off genitals of 11-year-olds.
00:28:46.000 They're all in and their base is happy.
00:28:49.000 They're actually even more liberal than their base at times.
00:28:53.000 Why is the Republican Party not as liberal, as conservative as the conservative movement?
00:28:59.000 I'll give you an example.
00:28:59.000 You know, Blake and I were working on this new book in Andrew that's coming out near Christmas, hopefully, all about beating the woke, right-wing revolution is the working title.
00:29:09.000 And there is example after example, University of Oklahoma, University of Wyoming, and they have DEI, they have drag queens.
00:29:20.000 So why is it that the most conservative states in the country, where Oklahoma, every single county voted for Donald Trump, have super liberal universities such as University of Oklahoma?
00:29:31.000 Does the University of Massachusetts or the University of California have like right-wing influences?
00:29:37.000 Of course not.
00:29:38.000 Because we as a conservative movement are weak.
00:29:42.000 We just are.
00:29:43.000 We're getting better.
00:29:45.000 But think about why is it that the university, why is the University of Wyoming funded by the legislature of Wyoming?
00:29:53.000 Why even give them a dime when they fund this DEI, diversity, equity, inclusion?
00:29:57.000 Do you want to know a true story about the University of Wyoming?
00:29:59.000 Senator Lummis spoke as a commencement.
00:30:02.000 I think she went to University of Wyoming.
00:30:03.000 And she spoke as a commencement address about a year and a half ago at the University of Wyoming.
00:30:07.000 And she said, and remember, there are only two biological sexes.
00:30:10.000 She was booed by the students at the graduation ceremony.
00:30:14.000 Then the university came out and apologized and said that the senator was wrong to do that.
00:30:18.000 And we know that there are no two sexes.
00:30:19.000 There are not two sexes.
00:30:20.000 We know that.
00:30:21.000 And the university president came and defended that.
00:30:24.000 That's the University of Wyoming.
00:30:26.000 The legislature should have responded and said, we're cutting all your funding.
00:30:29.000 We're done.
00:30:30.000 Good luck.
00:30:31.000 Go raise it on your own.
00:30:32.000 We're shutting down the university for treating a U.S. senator that way.
00:30:36.000 But we don't think that way because Republicans and conservatives, one of the reasons why the country is in the place that it is is because our party, our movement, is full of Chris Christie's and Mike Pence's agree and disagree.
00:30:53.000 Or Chris Christie, who is nothing more than a Democrat on stage doing the bidding of the mainstream media and Democrat donors.
00:31:03.000 The same thing.
00:31:03.000 And this is why I don't even consider myself to be a Republican.
00:31:06.000 I'm an American.
00:31:07.000 I'm a patriot.
00:31:08.000 I'm literally a registered independent.
00:31:10.000 I'm a constitutionalist.
00:31:11.000 I'm a conservative for a reason.
00:31:14.000 I want to see an opposition party that wants to win as bad as the Democrats want to win.
00:31:21.000 We need a massive change.
00:31:23.000 And it's not you.
00:31:24.000 This is the issue is that you are demanding the right things.
00:31:28.000 You in the audience are conservative.
00:31:30.000 You in the audience are informed.
00:31:32.000 You in the audience are engaged.
00:31:35.000 Your leaders are not.
00:31:38.000 And so this has to change top to bottom, the grassroots, from taking over Republican parties, from taking over state Republican parties, from taking over the precinct committee positions, from primarying these Vichy French Republicans one by one by one by one.
00:31:55.000 And then once we have power, defunding University of Oklahoma, defunding University of Wyoming, defund University of Idaho, just one by fight fire with fire.
00:32:04.000 That's just one example of many, one that I've been really thinking about recently a lot.
00:32:10.000 But it comes back to how we started the program.
00:32:13.000 If you think things inevitably will get better, if you think that all of this will calm down, then you are more likely to kind of just turn it off and just hope, hope, hope it gets better.
00:32:27.000 No, sometimes you have to metaphorically storm the beach.
00:32:30.000 It takes acts of courage.
00:32:32.000 Sometimes you have to be obedient, virtuous, and courageous.
00:32:38.000 We are not a movement that is being led by people that are courageous.
00:32:42.000 We are being led by Vichy French Republicans.
00:32:45.000 Sometimes you have to make the enemy back off and then stand up for yourself and retake the terrain.
00:32:51.000 I know that's the movement we're building at turning point.
00:32:54.000 It's about time the Republican Party starts to reflect its voters.
00:33:00.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
