00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:00:11.000 But we have much to discuss and much to be grateful for.
00:00:14.000 In a world full of blackpilling, negativity, doomerism, there's a seed that has been planted on America's college campuses.

00:03:37.000 As we kind of take a picture of this landscape that we are living in, that we are experiencing, that is being broadcast on social media and the nightly news.
00:03:49.000 It's really, really becoming a very clear dichotomy.
00:03:56.000 You see, on the one hand, angry, just petulant, ideologically driven young people, mostly women, that are very upset about what's going on in Gaza.
00:04:09.000 But you get the sense that they're upset about something more.
00:04:14.000 You get the idea that they have directed so much of their ire and their energy and their anger into an ideology that has them enslaved to something that makes them miserable, to things that don't work in their best interest.
00:04:33.000 And on the other side, you've got something that reminds you of the America that we all grew up in, the America that we all love.
00:04:41.000 You get frat boys, you get attractive young people that are raising the flag, supporting the flag, defending the flag, singing the national anthem, and they are awakened.
00:04:56.000 But it's not just in the South.
00:04:58.000 It's not just in one spot here or there.
00:05:01.000 We're seeing it at Rutgers.
00:05:03.000 We're seeing it at UNC.
00:05:05.000 We're seeing it at Cal Poly.
00:05:08.000 You're seeing the seeds of the work that people like Charlie Kirk have been doing on campus for a decade bear fruit.
00:05:17.000 And it is glorious to see.
00:05:19.000 And I think our challenge is to really identify it, see it for what it is, celebrate it, and sort of speak it into existence.
00:05:28.000 You see, as conservatives, sometimes we don't do this.
00:05:31.000 We don't see the good and celebrate it and push it.
00:05:34.000 We can be too fixated on complaining, too fixated on what's wrong.
00:05:40.000 But there's a lot that's right in this country.
00:05:43.000 There's a lot to celebrate.
00:05:45.000 And we have been doing the Yemen's work for years on college campus, especially a huge shout out to Charlie Kirk.
00:05:52.000 For years, he's been like a lone voice in the wilderness calling out.
00:05:59.000 And when we first started doing these campus visits, man, it was lonely work.
00:06:08.000 I'll never forget these original clips I saw of Charlie standing at a podium with a suit that didn't fit him right.
00:06:16.000 You know, a small ragtag crew helping support an event.
00:06:23.000 And then an audience full of left-wingers that just hated him.
00:06:28.000 And one by one, by one, he would shout them down.
00:06:32.000 We wouldn't shout them down.
00:06:33.000 He would argue with them.
00:06:34.000 He would debate with them.
00:06:36.000 He would explain why their ideas were flawed.
00:06:38.000 But little by little, over the years, we've seen something really, truly remarkable happen.
00:06:46.000 We've seen the crowds start to build.
00:06:52.000 At first, there was a few dozen, then there was a few more dozen.
00:06:58.000 And now, today, in 2024, when Charlie visits a college campus, there's hundreds and hundreds of supporters that come out to see him, to see him debate with left-wingers or people that disagree with him.
00:07:13.000 Sometimes they just have questions.
00:07:14.000 Maybe it's as simple as who's better, LeBron James or Michael Jordan.
00:07:17.000 I mean, the choice is clear.
00:07:18.000 Michael Jordan's a goat.
00:07:21.000 And these videos spread on social media, and millions and millions of more young people consume them and they share them.
00:07:29.000 Charlie just passed a million followers on TikTok.
00:07:31.000 We started like four weeks ago.
00:07:35.000 And I want to give you an example of this.
00:07:38.000 Because campuses are in the news.
00:07:41.000 Everybody's talking about it.
00:07:43.000 These encampments, these angry protesters, the nose piercings, the humanities studies, the You need to give us humanitarian aid at this encampment because we pay for a meal plan at this school by, gosh darn it.
00:07:57.000 It's just ridiculous stuff that we're seeing.
00:07:59.000 But hidden behind all the noise and all the chaos, there is hope.
00:08:07.000 There's hope that the seeds planted are bearing fruit.
00:08:11.000 Now, this clip, Charlie shared it again this morning on Twitter, and it's fantastic.
00:08:17.000 Or X, apologies.
00:08:18.000 Still working that one out.
00:08:21.000 This was from a month or so before the protest movement and these encampments popped up around the country.
00:08:28.000 This is a month before.
00:08:30.000 These are the hundreds of people that came out to see Charlie, not at Ole Miss, not in North Carolina, not in Florida, not in Texas.
00:08:39.000 This was in California at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
00:08:43.000 And this happened organically.
00:08:45.000 Play Cut 150.
00:08:52.000 Oh, save us as our spectral band away for the land of the free and the home of the grave.
00:09:18.000 So that was a month or so before any of these protests happened.
00:09:22.000 And what you are seeing right in that clip is now going viral on the internet.
00:09:28.000 Charlie shared it again this morning.
00:09:30.000 Everything's taken off.
00:09:31.000 It's crazy.
00:09:34.000 That wasn't in reaction to anything except the normal morass of society.
00:09:40.000 And what we are telling young men by going into these hostile environments and telling them that they have a voice, that they should be proud, they have nothing to be ashamed of.
00:09:50.000 They've done nothing wrong.
00:09:52.000 They're not in the wrong simply by the skin that they were born in.
00:09:57.000 They need to stop feeling ashamed and that they need to stand up for themselves loudly and proudly.
00:10:04.000 And Charlie's been that voice on these college campuses with Turning Point USA going from one campus to the next to the next to the next.
00:10:11.000 And time after time in the last couple of years, something crazy has happened.
00:10:15.000 I'm telling you people, the tide is turning.
00:10:18.000 There is a counter-revolution calling us back to the country that we know we are and can be again.
00:10:25.000 And it was happening right underneath our noses.
00:10:30.000 So instead of looking at these campus protesters, these petulant brats, these humanity studies with the piercings and the green hair and the masks, these weak femme boys and getting discouraged at the future of America, look at the counter-protests that are happening and getting sparked all across this country and take hope in the future of America because, as we said on this show a number of times,
00:10:55.000 young men specifically are more conservative than they've been in a generation, in 50 years, according to the polling.
00:11:04.000 The message to them is that instead of being shamed for your white privilege or for your male privilege or for being toxically masculine, be proud at your American privilege.
00:11:16.000 Be proud to live in the greatest country in the history of the world.
00:11:22.000 And we see it taking root all across the country.
00:11:27.000 Be proud of what God has given you.
00:11:30.000 Be proud of who you are.
00:11:33.000 There's nothing wrong with you.
00:11:36.000 And absolutely raise your voices in unison against the people that would shame you for what you have no control of in the first place.
00:11:44.000 Your skin color, your sex.
00:11:47.000 All of that's ridiculous.
00:11:49.000 And I'm going to play videos that are coming from across the country of these young people standing up.
00:11:58.000 The choice is clear.
00:11:59.000 Pick your fighter.
00:12:00.000 Who do you want to be a part of?
00:12:03.000 The world is in flames, and biodynamics is a complete and total disaster.
00:12:08.000 But it can't and won't ruin my day.
00:12:10.000 Because I start my day with a hot America first cup of blackout coffee.
00:12:10.000 Why?
00:12:14.000 It's 100% America and 0% Grift.
00:12:18.000 Blackout Coffee is 100% committed to conservative values, from sourcing the beans to the roasting process, customer support, and shipping.
00:12:25.000 They embody true American values and accept no compromise on taste or quality.

00:12:35.000 That is blackoutcoffee.com/slash Charlie.
00:12:37.000 Be awake, not woke.
00:12:38.000 That's blackoutcoffee.com/slash Charlie.
00:12:41.000 Check it out, promo code Charlie.
00:12:45.000 Folks, I hope you just understand.
00:12:48.000 If you saw it from my perspective, when I first started working with Charlie and with Turning Point USA, just how thankless the work was.
00:12:55.000 You know, it's easy to look at Amfest and, you know, almost 15,000 people in an event, and you got President Trump at our events, and Tucker Carlson, and thousands of people, and thousands of campuses.
00:13:09.000 But when you saw it where I saw it, where it felt like the whole world was against you, and it was so lonely, I mean, just, I want you to appreciate the grind that it took to get to this place.
00:13:24.000 And yeah, it wasn't just Turning Point.
00:13:25.000 There's a chorus of voices: Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Matt Walsh, the Daily Wire guys.
00:13:32.000 Of course, it's a cultural moment that we're living in.
00:13:36.000 But when you saw the grind day in, day out, campus after campus, event after event, you have to see the seeds that have been sown for over a decade.
00:13:49.000 And understand the cultural headwinds that we were against.
00:13:55.000 The running assumption was that we were doomed, that young people were going to be 80-20, liberal, Democrat, progressive, forever.
00:14:04.000 After 2008, which is actually the inspiration for the start of Turning Point USA, Charlie saw that in Chicago.
00:14:13.000 The mass mobilization of the millennial generation.
00:14:18.000 The community activists had taken over, community organizers on the left.
00:14:23.000 The assumption was we were going to have liberal young people forever.
00:14:31.000 It was doom and gloom.
00:14:33.000 And out of that, Turning Point USA starts humble beginnings, suits don't fit.
00:14:40.000 Charlie's very Chicago accent coming through.
00:14:44.000 On the road, traveling 300 days a year.
00:14:48.000 We started the debt was only 12.7 billion or trillion.
00:14:52.000 Now it's 35.
00:14:53.000 So some things certainly have not been corrected.
00:14:56.000 But these kids were not told they could speak up and have a voice.
00:15:00.000 And that is different now.
00:15:02.000 That is profoundly different.
00:15:04.000 And it's not just us noticing it.
00:15:06.000 Look at Greg Guttfeld.
00:15:08.000 This is some of the most keen analysis you're going to see out there.
00:15:13.000 Greg Guttfeld, play 130.39.
00:15:15.000 He notices the same trend taking place.
00:15:18.000 Now, when you look at the protests, there's two things you got to notice, especially the videos we were saying, mostly young women.
00:15:27.000 And a lot of people aren't talking about that, and I don't know why, but they look miserable, disheveled.
00:15:34.000 Meanwhile, when you see those counter protesters, those frack boys, healthy, good-looking guys, they got it together.
00:15:41.000 These women are a mess.
00:15:42.000 There's something going on in our culture where leftism has led young women down a path where their only purpose they perceive is outrage.
00:15:51.000 And you see this in every issue, whether it's trans, supporting Hamas, BLM.
00:15:57.000 They've devoted their aimless energy into causes that serve to only undermine their future, their happiness.
00:16:03.000 And we've derided motherhood to a point where their only baby is abortion.
00:16:11.000 Greg gets it.
00:16:12.000 Of course.
00:16:13.000 And Megan Kelly, our friend Megan Kelly, she gets it too.
00:16:17.000 Play cut 129.
00:16:19.000 And by the way, why are they so unattractive?
00:16:21.000 I really legitimately want to know: why are all the protesters so homely?
00:16:25.000 I don't think they're unconnected.
00:16:27.000 I'm not going to lie.
00:16:27.000 I think attractive, smart people are not drawn to this nonsense.
00:16:31.000 They're living their lives being successful.
00:16:33.000 It's the unattractive and/or dumb people who feel the need to do this to feel like they matter.
00:16:40.000 Sorry.
00:16:42.000 We love Megan.
00:16:45.000 How about Joe Rogan?
00:16:47.000 He's got a thing or two to say about this.
00:16:49.000 Play Cut 151.
00:16:51.000 I think we're sending our kids to cult camps.
00:16:54.000 That's what I think.
00:16:56.000 I think they get indoctrinated into this.
00:16:58.000 They don't all.
00:16:59.000 Some of them skate through.
00:17:00.000 Some of them are wise.
00:17:01.000 Some of them realize this is crazy.
00:17:02.000 But some of them just get locked in and then it becomes their identity.
00:17:06.000 And it's dangerous.
00:17:09.000 You see this?
00:17:10.000 This chorus of voices.
00:17:11.000 This chorus of voices is rising up.
00:17:14.000 We've planted the seeds.
00:17:16.000 People are able to have the courage of their own convictions.
00:17:19.000 These young people are finding their voice and they're picking a side.
00:17:23.000 And we need to celebrate it.
00:17:24.000 We need to see it.
00:17:25.000 And we need to know that we need to support them.
00:17:30.000 We need to be their cheerleaders on campus telling them it's okay to speak out and to rise up.
00:17:35.000 And by the way, at Turning Point USA, we're making sure all these campus patriots, maybe they don't even consider themselves activists.
00:17:44.000 Maybe they don't even consider themselves conservatives.
00:17:46.000 We're going to make sure they got big old flags to fly around on campus.
00:17:49.000 The last two weeks of school, you better believe it.
00:17:51.000 Charlie's going to be at University of Washington next week where they still have an encampment that is apparently growing.
00:17:57.000 One of our activists there was actually assaulted by some of these kids.
00:18:02.000 We're going to make sure that they have the fuel that they need to keep going and keep getting louder.
00:18:06.000 Let's go ahead and throw this image up.
00:18:09.000 88.
00:18:11.000 This is what sort of sparked so much of what we're seeing right now.
00:18:16.000 And of course, this is at UNC Chapel Hill.
00:18:19.000 The students defending the flag.
00:18:21.000 They had put a Palestinian flag up.
00:18:23.000 It came down.
00:18:24.000 They tried to put the American flag up and they were getting attacked.
00:18:27.000 And a bunch of frat guys got around and they defended the flag.
00:18:32.000 You could see stuff was getting thrown at them.
00:18:34.000 And they stood there proudly surrounding the American flag, old glory.
00:18:39.000 And that sparked something.
00:18:42.000 But the foundation had been laid and was being laid for years.
00:18:44.000 It was a decades-long movement in the making, really a decade.
00:18:48.000 And then it started to spread.
00:18:50.000 Some of these clips from Ole Miss started going viral.
00:18:53.000 Let's go ahead and play 141.
00:19:09.000 So they're shouting, we want Trump, we want Trump.
00:19:11.000 They're shouting down the protesters.
00:19:15.000 And here's another one, 142.
00:19:40.000 Just appreciate for a moment with me the vibe shift that has to happen for students to openly support Donald Trump on campus.
00:19:51.000 They're not just singing the national anthem like that last clip.
00:19:53.000 The clip before, they were saying we want Trump.
00:19:56.000 They were going on the offense in 2016.
00:20:00.000 Campuses would literally investigate students that were celebrating a Trump win.
00:20:05.000 Now, you got in 2024 whole groups of students shouting proudly, shouting down the protesters, saying we want Trump and singing the national anthem.
00:20:14.000 But it's not just UNC, it's not just Ole Miss.
00:20:18.000 Look at Rutgers 144.
00:20:36.000 So, you've got the Palestinian, pro-Palestinian crew on one side, Palestine will be free, and you've got all these other kids at Rutgers saying USA, USA, chanting it over and over again.
00:20:51.000 We played the Cow Poly clip from earlier.
00:20:53.000 That was a month before the protests happened.
00:20:55.000 That's proof that the seeds for this were already planted long ago, and they're just finally coming to fruition.
00:21:04.000 And these clips are inspiring a whole generation.
00:21:06.000 We're getting reports at Turning Point USA that this is happening organically all across the country.
00:21:12.000 A lot of our chapters, you're seeing this bubbling up of pure, unadulterated pro-American patriotism.
00:21:20.000 It's like the cool kids are taking back their school from a bunch of nerds.
00:21:23.000 Okay, that's what this is.
00:21:25.000 And it's organic.
00:21:28.000 Whereas you got Soros, students for justice in Palestine-funded groups that are taking, you know, that all you see the same signs, the same campuses, the tents look the same, the same procedures.
00:21:40.000 Outside agitators coming in and trying to radicalize these kids and pump their minds full of whatever.
00:21:47.000 And on our side, you have a ground up, an organic, spontaneous combustion of just pushback.
00:21:58.000 Top down, bottom-up.
00:22:01.000 The difference couldn't be more stark.
00:22:04.000 The people are with us.
00:22:06.000 The movement is with us.
00:22:07.000 Now, I'm not saying we don't have a ton of headwinds.
00:22:11.000 I'm not saying that the kids aren't getting indoctrinated in record numbers.
00:22:14.000 I'm not saying that the institutions are not more corrupt than they've ever been because they are.
00:22:20.000 But think back to some of the wins that we've had.
00:22:23.000 X, the liberation of X, formerly known as Twitter, cannot be underappreciated.
00:22:31.000 These clips are able to spread without being throttled, without being censored, without being shadow banned.
00:22:39.000 Charlie's own account was completely shadow banned.
00:22:42.000 The original Twitter files, his account specifically, was called out as being shadow banned.
00:22:49.000 You couldn't search Charlie's account and find it.
00:22:51.000 You just had to know how to find it.
00:22:54.000 Charlie was at 1.7 million followers on Twitter.
00:22:58.000 It was at 1.9, and then January 6th happened.
00:23:01.000 A couple days later, it was down at 1.7, and it stayed that way for the entirety of the time between then and when Elon Musk took over Twitter and turned it into X.
00:23:13.000 And now, guess how many followers he has?
00:23:15.000 Almost 3 million.
00:23:17.000 Since we've got unblocked, we've added almost 1.2 million followers on Charlie's Twitter account, X account.
00:23:24.000 That's just one piece of evidence.
00:23:29.000 But the wins are there, people.
00:23:30.000 The data points are there if you look at them.
00:23:34.000 The most conservative young men in 50 years, a spontaneous movement of patriotism, patriotism, and counter-protests rising up versus this top-down radical movement, free Palestine.
00:23:50.000 By the way, why do they all wear masks?
00:23:52.000 Why are they all wearing masks?
00:23:55.000 It's because they're ashamed of what they're doing.
00:23:57.000 They know what they're doing is wrong.
00:24:01.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:24:02.000 I talked to you about how horrible nutrition has become for people in our ultra-processed food society.
00:24:07.000 Truth is, it's even worse for our beloved dogs.
00:24:10.000 Seeing dog food lately, it's more like dead food.
00:24:12.000 Mr. Briggs is our best friend, and the more adventurous we are, I've realized that food is the most important thing ensuring he's healthy.
00:24:19.000 Naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black has invested everything into bringing our dog's food to life.
00:24:23.000 He created rough greens, not dog food.
00:24:25.000 It's a natural supplement to your dog's existing food.
00:24:28.000 Full of essential vitamins and minerals and made right here in America.
00:24:31.000 You don't have to change your dog's food.
00:24:33.000 Just adding rough greens to their existing diet will be the best decision you ever made to improve their life.
00:24:39.000 Mr. Briggs has more energy, plays longer, and is overall the best version of himself.
00:24:44.000 Dr. Black is so confident that this will change your dog's life, he is providing a free jumpstart trial bag so your dog can try it.
00:24:52.000 You just cover the shipping.
00:24:53.000 Head to roughgreens.com/slash Kirk.
00:24:55.000 That is R-U-F-F-Greens.com/slash Kirk.
00:24:58.000 Go to roughgreens.com/slash Kirk to grab yours today, roughgreens.com/slash Kirk.
00:25:05.000 So I want to play some of these clips that prove that we've been seeding the grounds for a long time.
00:25:11.000 Again, I said earlier, Charlie was like a lone voice calling out in the wilderness alone on these college campuses.
00:25:15.000 Now he's surrounded by hundreds of supporters at every single stop.
00:25:19.000 Doesn't matter where in the country he goes.
00:25:22.000 California, Texas, New York.
00:25:25.000 He's going to have a ton of support up at University of Washington, Seattle.
00:25:28.000 Very liberal Seattle.
00:25:29.000 My alma mater.
00:25:31.000 So let me show you how this happens.
00:25:34.000 Cut 148.
00:25:36.000 It seems like you just want the rich to get even more rich.
00:25:40.000 We haven't talked about the rich at all.
00:25:43.000 I mean, so you don't even know my positions on this stuff at all.
00:25:47.000 And by the way, just so we're clear, the wealthiest counties in the country all vote for Democrats.
00:25:51.000 You know that, right?
00:25:52.000 Eight out of 10 of the wealthiest counties in the country vote for Democrats.
00:25:55.000 The wealthiest people absent Elon Musk are all on the left.
00:25:58.000 Jeff Bezos, George Soros, Mark Benihoff, Mark Zuckerberg, Loren Powell Jobs.
00:26:03.000 On the left, yes.
00:26:04.000 The richer you are, the more likely you are to be a Democrat and on the left.
00:26:08.000 Explain it to me, please.
00:26:09.000 The numbers speak for itself.
00:26:10.000 The Democrats are the party of the oligarchy.
00:26:13.000 Can you name one tech CEO outside of Elon Musk that is a conservative?
00:26:18.000 All right, but there's a lot of people who are.
00:26:20.000 I'm personally.
00:26:22.000 Let me think.
00:26:23.000 Peter Thiel.
00:26:24.000 Yeah, that's one.
00:26:26.000 That's one.
00:26:28.000 Larry Page, Google, on the left, worth $120 billion.
00:26:32.000 Sergey Brin, Google, $130 billion on the left.
00:26:36.000 So you see how that kid started?
00:26:38.000 And by the way, there's a longer clip that you guys should all check out on X. About 10-minute long exchange, where he starts off calling Charlie a fascist.
00:26:46.000 You're terrible.
00:26:47.000 You just want the rich to get richer.
00:26:49.000 You fascist?
00:26:50.000 No facts, nothing to substantiate it.
00:26:52.000 And by the end of that conversation, the kid was completely subdued, asking honest questions, realizing he'd made poor assumptions.
00:27:00.000 He'd believed the lies.
00:27:01.000 And now that video has been seen millions and millions and millions of times across Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Rumble.
00:27:09.000 We love Rumble.
00:27:11.000 That's just one example of minds getting changed in real time and people realizing they have really bad assumptions.
00:27:20.000 Students realizing they have been led astray.
00:27:23.000 As Joe Rogan called it, a cult camp.
00:27:28.000 Winning over hearts and minds, one video at a time, one interaction at a time.
00:27:33.000 And by the way, going into the lion's den, going into the hostile enemy-occupied territory and telling kids it's okay to believe these things.
00:27:42.000 It's okay to be conservative.
00:27:44.000 It's okay to be white.
00:27:45.000 It's okay to be a man.
00:27:48.000 It's okay to be strong.
00:27:49.000 It's okay to be American.
00:27:52.000 Let's play another one.
00:27:53.000 Let's go to 149.
00:27:55.000 This is about the mass invasion.
00:27:57.000 And again, this is an example of going in, boldly saying, I believe these things come at me.
00:28:04.000 And everybody around watches and realizes they too can have those opinions.
00:28:09.000 They too can speak loudly and proudly.
00:28:12.000 149.
00:28:13.000 But I think that mass immigration is really bad for American workers.
00:28:17.000 There's no mass immigration.
00:28:18.000 Well, first of all, how many people are like there is mass invasion.
00:28:25.000 But how many people are coming across the southern border every day?
00:28:29.000 I don't know.
00:28:31.000 I'm actually generally curious.
00:28:32.000 Can you guess?
00:28:33.000 Okay.
00:28:35.000 On what time frame?
00:28:37.000 Every day?
00:28:37.000 Every day.
00:28:40.000 500?
00:28:41.000 Yeah.
00:28:41.000 At its low point, it's at 10,000 right now.
00:28:43.000 It was 15,000 last month.
00:28:45.000 So what does that annualize?
00:28:46.000 Let's play that out.
00:28:47.000 A lot.
00:28:48.000 That's a lot.
00:28:49.000 Yeah.
00:28:51.000 I love that clip because when he says a mass invasion, the kids are like, oh, oh, my gosh.
00:28:57.000 But then you hear the people around him supporting him.
00:28:59.000 They're like, oh, Charlie got him.
00:29:01.000 I'm telling you, it's the cool kids.
00:29:04.000 It's the normal kids rising up against a bunch of nerds and brats.
00:29:09.000 And the visuals are stunning.
00:29:11.000 They're the most compelling marketing our side has ever had.
00:29:14.000 Let's try another one.
00:29:15.000 Cut 74.
00:29:16.000 Charlie at it again.
00:29:18.000 How many illegals are coming across the border every day?
00:29:21.000 A lot.
00:29:22.000 So about 10,000 to 15,000 a day.
00:29:23.000 Do you think Joe Biden are all going to vote them?
00:29:27.000 Can you say that again?
00:29:29.000 The illegals?
00:29:30.000 Well, illegals.
00:29:32.000 Yeah, they're coming here.
00:29:33.000 They're going to vote Democrat, and we're going to win.
00:29:37.000 Do you believe in borders?
00:29:40.000 That was like a.
00:29:43.000 I believe that.
00:29:47.000 No borders.
00:29:48.000 No.
00:29:48.000 One world government.
00:29:51.000 These kids have no idea.
00:29:52.000 They have no conception of anything.
00:29:54.000 And they're getting.
00:29:56.000 The whole world gets to see the fact for the first kid.
00:30:00.000 He thought there was only 500 illegals coming across every day.
00:30:04.000 500.
00:30:05.000 When the number is multiple of that.
00:30:07.000 They have no idea the enormity of the problem that the Democrats and Joe Biden have thrust upon the country, the chaos that they have unleashed.
00:30:16.000 If you ask kids on campus how many abortions happen every year, they literally think it's like 50,000, when the number is actually a million.
00:30:23.000 These assumptions are getting changed.
00:30:26.000 And we're going right into the lion's den.
00:30:28.000 We're going right into enemy-occupied territory, telling them the truth.
00:30:34.000 So let's fix our gaze now on the upcoming convention that the Democrats are going to be holding.
00:30:43.000 Because there's some parallels here that we can draw to another very consequential convention that was in 1968.
00:30:53.000 So Wall Street Journal puts it like this: Evidence is mounting that campuses have been targeted by professional mob agitators who sense White House weakness and are already gearing up to descend on Democrats' Chicago convention in August.
00:31:09.000 This recalls the party's 1968 convention, the violence of which cemented a view of a lawless country under Democratic rule and aided Richard Nixon's election victory.
00:31:21.000 Mr. Biden used the 2020 George Floyd protest to great effect against Mr. Trump, both egging him on, egging them on, and reveling in the White House's inability to restore order.
00:31:33.000 Now, who owns the chaos?
00:31:36.000 It's something that we need to keep an eye on because I don't think this protest energy is going anywhere.
00:31:44.000 There's that really great clip from this week where pro-Gaza protesters and counter-protesters, the only thing that they could agree on was F. Joe Biden.
00:31:58.000 They chanted in unison that clip or that chant.
00:32:03.000 So there's a lot of energy behind this movement, and it's probably going to carry over into the summer when the Democrats have their convention in August in Chicago.
00:32:16.000 Now, let's just play some of the polling for you here.
00:32:20.000 A new YouGov poll shows that 47% of people oppose on-campus protests, pro-Palestine protests, while just 28% support it.
00:32:31.000 Now, I wish those numbers were greater, but that's still a 20-point delta of oppose versus support.
00:32:38.000 Among Gen Z, the figure's closer.
00:32:40.000 About 40% of people under 30 support anti-Israel protests, and 27% oppose them.
00:32:46.000 But that's enough.
00:32:49.000 Because it's not just that there are young people who oppose the protests, but they're finally speaking up.
00:32:53.000 They're going to rally more people to their cause.
00:32:56.000 It's everything we've been talking about this hour.
00:32:59.000 And I want to kind of shift your thinking on what happened in 2020 with the BLM riots.
00:33:05.000 A lot of people, the consensus is that those protests were stoked from on high, which they probably were, in order to remove Trump from power.
00:33:18.000 And like I said, there's valid reason to believe that that's the case, but there's actually evidence to believe that those riots actually boosted Trump.
00:33:27.000 People saw that it was coded left-wing.
00:33:30.000 We knew who was provoking it.
00:33:33.000 So it might have actually helped Trump.
00:33:35.000 Because again, Americans, by and large, hate rioting.
00:33:40.000 And this historic example from Chicago, I think, is really telling.
00:33:45.000 Yeah, we're a different country than we were back then.
00:33:47.000 But again, the polling suggests, by and large, Americans don't like rioting.
00:33:53.000 So 1968 was a very turbulent year, very turbulent.
00:33:58.000 LBJ's Vietnam War was very unpopular, so much so that he decided not to run for re-election at all.
00:34:05.000 MLK was assassinated in the spring, and there were riots after that in about 100 different U.S. cities, killing dozens of people.
00:34:14.000 In June, RFK was then assassinated.
00:34:18.000 And then Hubert Humphrey became the Democrat nominee, but he was not enormously popular with the base.
00:34:27.000 They didn't have primary elections in most states back then, and Humphrey didn't run in any of the primary states.
00:34:32.000 So he kind of got zero support from regular voters.
00:34:36.000 Chicago Mayor Richard Daly thought that the convention was his chance to show off Chicago and was extremely angry about protests.
00:34:44.000 So he deployed more than 11,000 Chicago police to surround the convention and block protesters.
00:34:50.000 This backfired protesters clashed with police all week.
00:34:57.000 The media and the protesters believed that the violence of police against anti-war demonstrators would cause a surge of public support and anti-war sentiment.
00:35:05.000 But in fact, that didn't happen.
00:35:06.000 The reverse happened.
00:35:07.000 Instead, the public overwhelmingly backed Daly's anti-riot tactics.
00:35:12.000 Apparently, they got 140,000 letters of support and just 500 letters of condemnation.
00:35:18.000 The protests themselves caused a split in the Democrat Party and led Richard Nixon to winning the 1968 election.
00:35:27.000 Four years later, Nixon would win 49 states amid continuing backlash against far-left protest tactics.
00:35:34.000 Could that happen again this year?
00:35:37.000 The onus is on Joe Biden, and so far, he's failing that test miserably.
00:35:43.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:35:44.000 Talk to you soon.
