00:01:34.000 Go to andrewandtodd.com, the wonderfulandrewandtodd.com.
00:01:41.000 I want to go through this one story in particular.
00:01:45.000 So, what is satire?
00:01:47.000 Satire, in many different ways, is how we're able to interpret otherwise confusing events.
00:01:56.000 It's the use of humor or irony or some form of exaggeration to expose or criticize people's stupidity, their ignorance.
00:02:06.000 Satire best done is when it's right on the edge.
00:02:10.000 You're unable to decipher the news of the day from satire.
00:02:14.000 Now, there's a great website that does this, Babylon B. They've been getting a lot of notoriety lately, well-deserved.
00:02:20.000 My friend Seth Dylan runs Babylon B and does a phenomenal job.
00:02:23.000 I mean, some of the headlines from Babylon B speak for themselves, such as nation wishes we had our own oil we could dig up with big machines, then could transport it around with some kind of pipeline.
00:02:35.000 Or this one, Biden says gas prices are not his fault unless they go back down again.
00:02:39.000 It's so close to the truth, you almost have to do a second glance.
00:02:44.000 You have to do a double take.
00:02:45.000 Is that satire or is that news of the day?
00:02:50.000 One of these stories that I saw this morning before I looked at the source, I couldn't tell if it was satire or whether it was actually a position of our government to try to solve a looming nuclear holocaust that could be happening right now in Europe.
00:03:07.000 Regardless of your opinion, what's happening in Russia and Ukraine, this is a 9-11-style moment in the sense that it's going to completely reconfigure the geopolitics in Europe for a generation.
00:03:17.000 And when I saw this story, I said, This has to be satire.
00:03:20.000 This can't be true.
00:03:21.000 There is no way that our government would actually do this.
00:03:27.000 And that is, of course, and this should put all of your minds at ease, everybody.
00:03:31.000 This should give you a peace of mind that while there might be nuclear war looming, don't worry, we are sending our brightest.
00:03:39.000 We are sending our best to go negotiate and solve the looming border crisis.
00:03:47.000 The Biden regime is sending Kamala Harris.
00:03:51.000 Kamala Harris steps into the middle of NATO standoff, is what Politico says.
00:03:56.000 Now, of course, after Kamala Harris was appointed the border czar and 2 million people illegally came into our country last year, where Yuma, Arizona saw 50 border crossings a day, increased to 1,000 border crossings a day.
00:04:08.000 Kamala Harris, who was also in charge of stopping Jim Crow in the American South, whatever that means in today's America, she has now been appointed.
00:04:16.000 Hey, Kamala Harris, can you make sure we don't get into nuclear armed conflict with Russia?
00:04:20.000 Thanks.
00:04:21.000 Call me later.
00:04:22.000 Kamala Harris is now scheduled to go to Poland and Romania.
00:04:30.000 CNN says, is this finally Kamala Harris's moment?
00:04:33.000 It says, quote, it's been a rough first year for Vice President Kamala Harris, beset by staff departures and lingering questions about how good a fit she is for the job.
00:04:41.000 Harris, I mean, let me just say, the reason why Harris is not good at her job is because she was picked not because of her IQ or because of her qualifications.
00:04:50.000 In some ways, you should feel sorry for Kamala Harris.
00:04:54.000 She was picked simply because she's a woman of color.
00:04:57.000 She's not qualified for the job.
00:04:59.000 Kamala Harris is an affirmative action pick as Vice President of the United States.
00:05:04.000 She was picked not because anything she did or anything she's accomplished or any sort of fabulous insights that she has, her ability to process information or work late at night.
00:05:14.000 Kamala Harris was picked because she was a woman of color.
00:05:17.000 Biden said he was going to pick a woman of color, and she is affirmative action in real time.
00:05:23.000 Dare I say, Kamala Harris being Vice President of the United States, is the CRT regime now orchestrating our foreign policy.
00:05:33.000 So now nuclear conflicts are going to be determined based on vice presidents that were chosen based on immutable characteristics such as gender and sex, not based on whether or not they'll actually do a good job negotiating a stasis or peace.
00:05:50.000 Sending Kamala Harris to Poland is living, breathing proof that the Biden regime knows how you feel and they simply do not care.
00:06:02.000 You would only send Kamala Harris somewhere when you want that thing to be sabotaged, obliterated, or to accelerate a planned demolition, like what she did with the border.
00:06:12.000 Just come on in.
00:06:14.000 More people, the better.
00:06:17.000 No one believes, including people in the Biden regime, Kamala Harris will fix anything.
00:06:22.000 What they do believe is that she will dutifully execute the unraveling of our culture and our civilization.
00:06:29.000 Here's Kamala Harris giving you a geography lesson, just in case you forgot the actors involved in the looming nuclear war in Europe.
00:06:36.000 Play Cut 74.
00:06:38.000 Ukraine is a country in Europe.
00:06:42.000 It exists next to another country called Russia.
00:06:46.000 Russia is a bigger country.
00:06:47.000 Russia is a powerful country.
00:06:49.000 Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine.
00:06:53.000 So basically, that's wrong.
00:06:56.000 Yeah, basically, that's wrong.
00:06:58.000 Don't worry.
00:06:59.000 She's just getting caught up here, right?
00:07:00.000 She's just going through the basics.
00:07:03.000 That right there, her, the affirmative action pick, CRT gone wrong.
00:07:08.000 She's now going to determine the future of NATO, of our alliances in Eastern Europe.
00:07:14.000 You would think that you would pick somebody that has some sort of experience with diplomacy and with the ability to be in pressure situations.
00:07:21.000 What has Kamala Harris done exactly in her life that has warranted the ability to go negotiate what could be called as one of the most significant geopolitical events in Europe post-World War II?
00:07:32.000 What has she done?
00:07:33.000 Can someone send me her accomplishments, her resume?
00:07:36.000 What has she actually done in the last year to show that she can handle difficult situations?
00:07:40.000 She handled the border, what, miserably?
00:07:42.000 Well, no, actually, she handled the border exactly the way the regime wanted her to handle the border.
00:07:47.000 She kept it wide open.
00:07:48.000 She didn't close it.
00:07:50.000 Now, the question is: what does the regime want in Eastern Europe?
00:07:54.000 That is not totally clear.
00:07:57.000 I want you to take a moment and just appreciate this.
00:08:00.000 I want you to reflect on this.
00:08:03.000 That how shallow is the bench of leaders in our country?
00:08:08.000 A country of 330 million people.
00:08:10.000 I'm broadcasting live right now from a grocery store in Naples, Florida.
00:08:14.000 I could pick any one of these people that are plumbers, electricians, retired police officers, veterans, and any one of them, I would say, would do a better job representing American values and interests than Kamala Harris because they wouldn't pretend like they knew what they were doing if they didn't know it.
00:08:29.000 And that's one of the fatal flaws in the affirmative action pick that is Kamala Harris.
00:08:34.000 Her entire thing is a massive coping exercise.
00:08:36.000 It's a compensation circus where she's saying, I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm going to pretend like I do.
00:08:42.000 I'm not going to ask for help, and then I'm going to allow things to unravel in front of me.
00:08:49.000 And it really is a mockery of our precious republic.
00:08:54.000 Our country deserves so much better than Kamala Harris representing America.
00:09:00.000 What do you think that sends to the people of Poland or Romania?
00:09:03.000 What kind of message did that send?
00:09:04.000 Regardless of whether you think we should get involved in Russia and Ukraine, we've made our opinion pretty clear in that regard.
00:09:10.000 The point is, is this someone that is wise?
00:09:12.000 Is this someone that is steeped in the ability to read people and make decisions quickly?
00:09:16.000 Do they take her seriously?
00:09:19.000 Do they think that her approach to complicated situations and issues is going to be one that will actually de-escalate the situation?
00:09:27.000 No, Kamala Harris is very similar to Hillary Clinton.
00:09:30.000 She's only there because of either who you married or how you climbed the political ladder.
00:09:37.000 Kamala Harris made some very, let's say, questionable moral decisions to climb the political ladder in California.
00:09:43.000 You just look up her relationship with Willie Brown.
00:09:46.000 She wasn't chosen as vice president because of her brilliance.
00:09:49.000 She was chosen because of her skin color.
00:09:51.000 And that right there is a real world possible nuclear war complication of why affirmative action and the nonsense of CRT could actually make the world a more dangerous place and humanity as we know it change forever.
00:10:08.000 Rockauto.com is a family auto parts business company founded by automotive engineers over 20 years ago.
00:10:14.000 They had two goals.
00:10:15.000 Give customers direct access to all the information hidden behind the traditional parts store counter and make auto parts affordable so cars of all ages can be kept reliable and fun to drive.
00:10:25.000 Today, rockauto.com ships thousands of parts from hundreds of manufacturers to millions of customers all over the world.
00:10:30.000 Rockauto.com's online catalog keeps expanding, but remains remarkably easy and fun to use.
00:10:35.000 Their prices are always reliably low, and same for professionals and do-it-yourselfers.
00:10:40.000 If you need to replace just about any part that wore out, got smashed, or fell off, rockauto.com is the place to go.
00:10:45.000 Get the correct parts to maintain your car or truck at rockauto.com.
00:10:49.000 When you check out, write Kirk in their How Do You Hear About Us box so they know we sent you.
00:10:53.000 Rockauto.com, promo code Kirk.
00:10:57.000 So Kamala Harris is off to Europe to try to negotiate peace.
00:11:02.000 You know, it's really interesting.
00:11:04.000 She's not going to negotiate anything.
00:11:05.000 She won't be taken seriously.
00:11:06.000 This whole administration is not taken seriously.
00:11:08.000 You know, I'm no fan of, you know, Middle East, Islamic theocratic dictatorships.
00:11:12.000 We're pretty consistent about that in more ways than one.
00:11:16.000 I think the West's pandering to the Middle East has been a big mistake.
00:11:19.000 However, when you can't get a country that is far poorer than you and smaller than you and is basically still stuck in the 1300s with oil to even return your phone call, how do you expect to exactly negotiate anything in Europe?
00:11:34.000 I'm, of course, talking about the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia that won't even return Biden's phone call.
00:11:41.000 They don't even pick up his phone.
00:11:43.000 So news reports are showing that Joe Biden tried to get Saudi Arabia on the phone, trying to get them to basically release more oil.
00:11:52.000 Now, of course, Joe Biden doesn't want more American oil to be released.
00:11:55.000 No, no, no, no.
00:11:56.000 Joe Biden doesn't want the Keystone XL pipeline or more fracking to happen.
00:12:00.000 So Joe Biden, in a last-ditch effort, calls Saudi Arabia, who the left hates Saudi Arabia.
00:12:06.000 They can't stand Saudi Arabia.
00:12:08.000 I think we need to have a nuanced take on them.
00:12:10.000 I mean, there's a lot there.
00:12:11.000 Not going to get into it in this show.
00:12:14.000 But Joe Biden calls them up and they don't even call him back.
00:12:18.000 He gets completely and totally ghosted.
00:12:21.000 New York Post.
00:12:23.000 Saudi and UAE leaders ignore Biden when he calls to talk gas prices.
00:12:27.000 Now, there is a reason for this.
00:12:29.000 Why would the UAE and Saudi Arabia not call back Joe Biden?
00:12:34.000 Because Joe Biden right now has his surrogates in Vienna, Austria, negotiating a new Iran deal.
00:12:41.000 And Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are Sunni, largely Sunni.
00:12:47.000 The Iranians are Shia, largely Shia Muslim, and they hate each other.
00:12:51.000 The Saudis and the Iranians and the Emiratis and the Iranians do not get along at all.
00:12:57.000 So Joe Biden, because he doesn't understand how geopolitics works, he doesn't understand how one piece of action can affect another.
00:13:05.000 He has no real understanding of the complexities or the nuance of how in these international relationships, negotiating the Iran deal and pandering to Iran might also affect gas prices because you're going to isolate Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
00:13:22.000 All the while, he has a Trump card that he refuses to use, which is to pump more American oil.
00:13:27.000 And of course, Joe Biden ran on foreign policy experience, but he can't put two and two together, wondering why on earth is the UAE and Saudi Arabia not calling you back.
00:13:38.000 It's because of one thing: it's the JCPOA that is currently being negotiated in Vienna, Austria.
00:13:44.000 Won't call them back.
00:13:46.000 It's very simple, but it's not simple for the foreign policy experts that continually try to pander to the Shia mullahs in Iran, in Iran.
00:13:55.000 Of course, Robert Gates famously said that Joe Biden has been on the wrong side of every public policy, foreign policy decision over the last four decades.
00:14:02.000 If there is a bad decision, Joe Biden was on the wrong side of it.
00:14:05.000 Dictator displacement in Libya, the Iraq war invasion, the mishandling of so many military decisions in Afghanistan.
00:14:13.000 If there was a mistake, Joe Biden was usually behind it, largely because he's captured by ideology.
00:14:18.000 And Joe Biden and his family always sell out to the highest bidder, whether it be the Chinese or yes, even Ukrainian barisma.
00:14:25.000 So Kamala Harris is on her way to Europe.
00:14:28.000 And I just want to emphasize this: which we really don't have the time to make this argument as effectively as I would like to, but it's pretty simple, which is we're a great country.
00:14:39.000 We have phenomenal people in America, awesome entrepreneurs, terrific creativity.
00:14:45.000 I think we're a resilient people.
00:14:46.000 I really do believe that.
00:14:49.000 However, how we, as the amazing American people, and I say all of us, I'm not saying that I'm amazing, but the American people are amazing.
00:14:58.000 How we get represented by this fool, and there really is no other way to put it, as Kamala Harris is going to confuse and confound historians for generations to come.
00:15:09.000 Honest historians in the year 2075 will study this sort of shot heard around the world, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and they'll think to themselves: who was actually in charge that was supposed to de-escalate this?
00:15:21.000 Now, as we mentioned before, 1900s when Russia and Japan were going at each other and slaughtering each other, the leader of Teddy Roosevelt came in, solved it over lunch, and won a Nobel Peace Prize.
00:15:32.000 Even John F. Kennedy, despite his lack of experience, was able to deter nuclear conflict, of course, with the Cuban Missile Crisis.
00:15:39.000 Ronald Reagan, very similar.
00:15:42.000 But now we have these unqualified derelicts, these politically hungry, ambitious individuals.
00:15:51.000 But our institutions should produce better, smarter, and tougher people.
00:15:54.000 We deserve so much better than Kamala Harris going abroad to try to solve this.
00:16:02.000 50 years.
00:16:03.000 For 50 years, American Home Shield has protected household budgets from the unexpected, like a dryer that won't dry or an AC that's lost its cool.
00:16:10.000 In fact, they help cover the cost to repair or replace over 20 home systems and appliances when they wear out, no matter how old they are.
00:16:17.000 Service fees, limitations, and exclusions apply.
00:16:20.000 If American Home Shield can't repair or covered item, they'll replace it.
00:16:24.000 Service fees, limitations, and exclusions apply.
00:16:26.000 See plan for details.
00:16:27.000 American Home Shield members get more.
00:16:30.000 More coverage options and fewer exclusions.
00:16:32.000 An exclusive $50 off for listeners of the show.
00:16:34.000 And coverage options are available no matter how old your systems or appliances are.
00:16:39.000 American Home Shield is awesome.
00:16:40.000 I always have appliances breaking, and they've been phenomenal to work with.
00:16:43.000 So keep your home up and running on budget and on track with American Home Shield right now.
00:16:47.000 Charlie Kirk listeners can take $50 off their most comprehensive plan ever.
00:16:52.000 Go to ahs.com/slash Charlie.
00:16:55.000 That's ahs.com/slash Charlie to save $50.
00:16:59.000 That's ahs.com/slash Charlie right now.
00:17:02.000 American Home Shield, be sure with the shield.
00:17:05.000 Service fees, limitations, and exclusions may apply.
00:17:07.000 See plan for details.
00:17:11.000 Okay, so I'm going to just touch a little bit more on this Kamala Harris situation and then we'll move on.
00:17:17.000 But in a country that is so wealthy, so sophisticated, with so much talent, to send someone like Kamala Harris to represent us, I mean, that's how shallow the bench is of our government.
00:17:29.000 That's the best offer that we have.
00:17:31.000 And it really kind of shows this trajectory of the West.
00:17:35.000 So we go from Maggie Thatcher, we go from the Iron Lady to the cackling clown in just two generations.
00:17:45.000 How is that possible?
00:17:47.000 Well, you look, and I'm just talking about female leaders here, let alone the male leaders that we're sending abroad, like Tony Blinken and Pete Buttigieg, who just physically embody weakness and a tepid nature, not strength or clarity or precision.
00:18:04.000 And it really kind of goes to show you have someone like Maggie Thatcher, who was an honorable, strong, and courageous woman who led the United Kingdom in tandem with Ronald Reagan and did such a phenomenal job protecting Western values and Western civilization, to very quickly, almost like in two generations, someone like Kamala Harris, who not just is unqualified, but she's distinctly should be disqualified from doing this type of work.
00:18:34.000 From the Iron Lady to the cackling clown.
00:18:38.000 It's the position that the West is in.
00:18:41.000 So I want to play a tape here.
00:18:42.000 So Joe Biden is kind of fighting with himself when it comes to energy.
00:18:49.000 I think more so than almost any other program, we have gone into the basics of why energy matters, about how easy it is to take energy for granted, that if you do not have access to cheap and reliable energy, then your civilization will start to crumble.
00:19:04.000 And we're flirting with that sort of disaster largely because of the green energy environmentalists that have captured our entire government.
00:19:11.000 I want to listen to this tape right here: Cut 72.
00:19:14.000 The president of the American Petroleum Institute, API, who is slandered and is attacked from every direction by the green energy groups, who are very quiet right now, if you notice.
00:19:24.000 They're not given a big platform.
00:19:25.000 They kind of put them aside the same way that they put the BLM groups aside when the mandatory vaccination campaign went forward.
00:19:33.000 Well, I want to go through this clip here, which is Cut 72.
00:19:38.000 The American Petroleum Institute, API president and CEO Mike Summers, noted that Saki's claims represent, quote, a fundamental misunderstanding as how the process works.
00:19:46.000 In fact, it actually might be helpful.
00:19:48.000 The first play cut 71, and then I'll talk a little about that, and then we'll play cut 72.
00:19:53.000 Play cut 71, please.
00:19:55.000 That accusation is a complete red herring, and it's really a distraction from the fact that this administration has paused leasing on federal lands, something that we're concerned about and something that we think needs to continue right away.
00:20:08.000 The fact is that industry is producing at a higher level on existing leases on federal lands than in the last 20 years.
00:20:16.000 And these leases take many years to explore, to develop, and to produce on.
00:20:23.000 The American Petroleum Institute president and CEO Mike Summers noted that Saki represents a fundamental misunderstanding, play cut 72.
00:20:30.000 This represents a fundamental misunderstanding as to how this process works.
00:20:34.000 Once you lease land, there is a whole process that you have to go through.
00:20:38.000 First, you have to actually discover whether actually there is oil and gas in that land.
00:20:43.000 Second of all, you have to get a permit to actually develop that land.
00:20:46.000 Right now, we actually are developing more leases than we have in two decades.
00:20:50.000 So the White House certainly doesn't have their facts straight on this.
00:20:54.000 What they should be focused on is how do we develop more of our resources here in the United States rather than depending on foreign countries for American oil and natural gas.
00:21:05.000 And that's what Joe Biden is doing.
00:21:07.000 Joe Biden can't even get a phone call back from the countries that he wants to rely upon.
00:21:11.000 You see, Joe Biden wants a bailout.
00:21:12.000 He wants a Saudi Arabian bailout.
00:21:14.000 He doesn't want an American bailout because he knows that he will be attacked from the very people that implemented him into office, the green energy type groups, the green energy czar groups.
00:21:24.000 But instead, Joe Biden would be happy to cut a deal with the Iranians or the Saudi Arabians.
00:21:29.000 He wants Saudi Arabia to go dump like 500 million barrels of oil, which would bring down the price of oil temporarily.
00:21:36.000 A lot of the oil markets are speculative based on supply and demand.
00:21:39.000 It's not overly complicated economics.
00:21:42.000 But Joe Biden really, and this goes to show why the left is so bad at governing.
00:21:48.000 And so this is a question that I want to kind of, you know, ruminate over for a second or two, which is why is it that not only are the left's ideas bad, but when they're actually put in office, they're not able to do rational or prudent things that are, let's say, that are helpful and beneficial to the country.
00:22:09.000 It's because they will always prioritize an abstract academic theory over things that are good in reality.
00:22:18.000 And that sort of preference to the academic theory, the sort of elevation to the abstract, is precisely what they teach you in college.
00:22:28.000 They teach you to ignore biological reality, to reject the laws of physics or mathematics, and instead try to go into unfounded theories that might feel good or might go towards some sort of utopian vision, which, by the way, utopia actually means nowhere.
00:22:45.000 Thomas More was the original author that came up with the term utopia.
00:22:50.000 It literally means nowhere.
00:22:51.000 And we're all in some ways on a road to nowhere.
00:22:55.000 The left rejects real politic.
00:22:57.000 They almost reject, you can go all the way back to the ancients of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, where Plato spent a lot of time in the clouds, spent a lot of times in things you can see, a lot of time in things you can't see.
00:23:10.000 If you remember Raphael's famous painting where it's the school of Athens, you have Copernicus on the floor mapping the heliocentric theory of the earth, but the center of the painting, for a good reason, is Plato and Aristotle.
00:23:25.000 Plato, of course, taught Aristotle.
00:23:26.000 Aristotle was a student of Plato.
00:23:28.000 This is 2,500 years ago, by the way.
00:23:30.000 And Plato is pointing to the skies.
00:23:32.000 He's pointing to the heavens.
00:23:33.000 You guys have all seen the picture.
00:23:34.000 You've all seen the painting.
00:23:34.000 It's one of the most beautiful paintings.
00:23:35.000 It's done by Raphael.
00:23:37.000 But Aristotle has his hand off to the side for these on radio.
00:23:39.000 I'll describe it, kind of motioning to the ground.
00:23:42.000 And this is a great contrast because Plato is thinking about things that are abstract, things you can't see.
00:23:47.000 And I'm not saying those things are wrong, by the way.
00:23:50.000 I think things you can't see are important to contemplate and study over.
00:23:53.000 But it's really hard to govern a society, especially in a time of crisis, based on things you can't see, can't measure, or can't quantify.
00:24:01.000 This is where we must channel our inner Aristotelian political theory where you say, wait a second, okay, I get all this kind of push towards green energy dominance.
00:24:10.000 I understand the urge or the sensation to want to get rid of fossil fuels.
00:24:15.000 That sounds good.
00:24:16.000 It feels good.
00:24:16.000 It makes for a good cartoon.
00:24:18.000 It can get people to walk in the streets.
00:24:19.000 But Putin's invading countries, and it now costs $145 to fill up a tank of gas in Beverly Hills if you drive an SUV.
00:24:26.000 So what are we going to do to actually help things improve today and not just live in the clouds, but instead understand the implications on the ground?
00:24:34.000 And that sort of tension is something that unfortunately we don't see play out very much anymore in our school system.
00:24:42.000 The premise must be the rejection of things that came before you.
00:24:46.000 Now, we as conservatives, one of the things we want to conserve, of course, is the natural law, the laws of nature and nature's God, as it says beautifully in the Declaration of Independence.
00:24:54.000 However, the current regime rejects anything that came prior.
00:24:58.000 Those sort of laws of nature and nature's God, fuel, oil, and natural gas, LNG, energy dominance.
00:25:04.000 They want to dismiss all of that, wipe the slate clean, and then go forward to an unspecified, non-determined target because there is this quasi-pathological feeling within them that they can feel themselves towards a better future.
00:25:19.000 That sort of urge, that inclination towards the unknown, the stumbling towards the unspecified utopia is one of the most dangerous, god-like impulses that has killed more people than any other idea in the last 100 years.
00:25:34.000 Stalin, Lenin, Mussolini, Mao Seitong all had the same sort of totalitarian impulses that all we need to do is kill another 10 million, 20 million, 30 million people, and things will get better.
00:25:44.000 Stalin justified mass starvation of Ukrainians, by the way, because of this.
00:25:49.000 He said, we just have to wipe out these dissident Ukrainians.
00:25:52.000 10 million Ukrainians died through intentional starvation or famine or straight out genocide because of Joseph Stalin's policies in the 1930s or 40s.
00:26:02.000 And this is really the tension that we're seeing today.
00:26:04.000 And this is exactly why the Democrats are going to get obliterated in the upcoming midterms, is because most people are sick and tired of hearing about abstract academic theories that can't be specified, things that don't make any sense.
00:26:15.000 Instead, they say, I want common sense.
00:26:17.000 That framed common sense, you know what it really means?
00:26:19.000 I'm going to trust my senses.
00:26:21.000 I'm going to look at things empirically and say, oh, wow, I'm paying twice as much at the pump.
00:26:26.000 My kid's being taught to hate America.
00:26:28.000 My taxes are going up.
00:26:29.000 Everything's more expensive.
00:26:30.000 I don't care what sort of academic theory or what garbage you're going to push on television.
00:26:34.000 My life is worse than it was before.
00:26:40.000 Utopia is tough to come across.
00:26:42.000 And thankfully, the laws of nature and nature's God are starting to push back.
00:26:49.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:26:50.000 I love supplements.
00:26:51.000 If you could see my supply of area supplements, you'd think I was training for something.
00:26:55.000 But I had to pick one supplement that transcends all the others, it would be balance of nature.
00:27:00.000 I struggle sometimes to get my fruits and vegetables.
00:27:02.000 Very hectic schedule.
00:27:03.000 I'm always traveling, boarding planes, taxis, Ubers, trekking into hotels, or being screamed at by angry leftists.
00:27:09.000 It's really hard to go to the farmer's market to get greens, beets, pineapples, oranges, and kiwis.
00:27:13.000 However, if you aren't getting a lot of daily fruits and vegetables, I can tell you balance of nature is the thing for you.
00:27:19.000 Get your immune system up and running by taking Balance of Nature's 10 servings of fruits and veggies, all in six tiny capsules.

00:27:45.000 That's balanceinature.com.
00:27:47.000 Discount code Charlie.
00:27:51.000 So this is an interesting political strategy that now the Democrats are floating, which is basically moral price gouging.
00:27:58.000 That they believe people are going to be happy paying higher prices.
00:28:01.000 They'll be ecstatic going into debt because it's going to hold Russia accountable for what they're doing in Ukraine.
00:28:06.000 Well, of course, oil prices were going up before this.
00:28:09.000 This is one of the reasons why Putin invaded in the first place.
00:28:11.000 Oil was around $75 to $80 a barrel.
00:28:14.000 Now it's hovering around $110, $120 a barrel.
00:28:17.000 Some people are saying $300 a barrel oil.
00:28:20.000 Unthinkable.
00:28:22.000 Well, this new CNN reporter has come out and said, listen, Americans, they're going to be really happy paying more at the pump.
00:28:28.000 In fact, they're going to look at it as their tithe, their tithe against the evil Russian empire.
00:28:34.000 The same way that people bought war bonds in World War II, these people are going to be ecstatic.
00:28:39.000 They're going to be cheering.
00:28:40.000 They're going to be thankful that when they buy gas that they can't afford, it's going to hold Putin in check.
00:28:47.000 Even though the higher price of oil helps Putin's regime play cut 63.
00:28:53.000 But as you mentioned, people we've spoken to over the last couple weeks, they're okay paying higher prices if it means holding Russia accountable for what they are doing in Ukraine.
00:29:04.000 But these prices are likely going to creep higher, Kate.
00:29:06.000 We'll see how they feel in the next week or so, Kate.
00:29:09.000 And the big question, the big unknown is: do any of these moves change Putin's behavior?
00:29:14.000 Change the way he no, it does the opposite.
00:29:17.000 The higher the price, the more Putin wants to invade because then he gets to sell his oil reserves for more money.
00:29:23.000 It's actually a reverse incentive.
00:29:25.000 It's a perverse incentive for Putin because then he wants to actually invade.
00:29:30.000 Stephen Colbert has something to say about this.
00:29:34.000 He's a funny guy, everybody.
00:29:35.000 Play cut 46 or is it 16?
00:29:38.000 46, please.
00:29:39.000 Thank you.
00:29:40.000 Today, the average gas price in America hit an all-time record high of over $4 per gallon.
00:29:46.000 Okay, that's things, but a clean conscience is worth a buck or two.
00:29:51.000 I'm willing to pay.
00:29:53.000 It's important.
00:29:54.000 I'm willing to pay $4 a gallon.
00:29:56.000 Hell, I'll pay $15 a gallon because I drive a Tesla.
00:30:00.000 Yeah, just go buy a Tesla.
00:30:01.000 I mean, come on, just go buy an electric car.
00:30:03.000 He makes $16 million a year, not including endorsements.
00:30:06.000 I mean, come on, like, you don't have people, you don't have serfs that work for you, that like make you meals and drive you places.
00:30:13.000 So this is an interesting new kind of political strategy, which is that people are going to be so happy to go into debt to go fund some sort of adventurous moral conflict 5,000 miles away.
00:30:25.000 Please continue to do this, Democrats.
00:30:27.000 This is the opposite of the concentric circles.
00:30:29.000 Now, if you live in DC, I could totally see this.
00:30:33.000 Meaning, if all you do is you're around people that care more about the needs, wants, interests, and concerns of things that are happening far away more than your actual fellow countrymen, if you care more about the well-being of Zelensky than the plumbers in Marshallton, Iowa, if you care more about the corrupt Zelensky Azov battalion and the well-being of some sort of Ukrainian unit you've never heard of, more so than the oil workers in West Texas, then yeah, of course, absolutely.
00:31:00.000 But, I mean, we could say it's out of touch, which it is, but it's also incredibly, it take the lack of maturity and the lack of learning that these people have done in the last five years.
00:31:12.000 I mean, that's the same sort of arrogance that got Donald Trump elected in 2016.
00:31:16.000 I guess my message is just continue it.
00:31:18.000 That somehow people are going to be cheering when they fill up their gas tank, go, you know what, this is great because this is sticking it to Putin.
00:31:24.000 No, it's the opposite, actually.
00:31:26.000 But even if it was sticking it to Putin, even if it was like, yeah, this is really going to make the Russian Federation suffer.
00:31:32.000 Is that where we're at right now?
00:31:35.000 Is that their read of the regular American population?
00:31:38.000 That American families have to go into debt to go try to enact some sort of unclear regime change war of a massive power against a smaller power.
00:31:46.000 And that, of course, is misreading the electorate and it's not learning where the country is.
00:31:51.000 Now, Washington, D.C. might be there.
00:31:53.000 Malibu might be there.
00:31:54.000 Manhattan might be there.
00:31:56.000 But I could tell you that being around the muscular class here at this wonderful grocery store, see the table in Naples, Florida, and talking to them, normal everyday people, not people that have private jets and mansions with guards around them.
00:32:10.000 They're not talking about Russia-Ukraine.
00:32:12.000 And they're worried about it.
00:32:13.000 They can worry about what it could become.
00:32:14.000 You know what they're really worried about?
00:32:16.000 The fact that their kids and grandkids are being taught to hate the country.
00:32:19.000 They're really worried about continued COVID tyranny.
00:32:22.000 They're really worried about a government that continues in a pattern of deceit and lies.
00:32:28.000 And yet, the Democrat Party's new strategy is they're going to be thanking us for high gas prices.
00:32:36.000 Try that out.
00:32:37.000 Let us know how it goes.
00:32:39.000 Best of luck.
