00:01:28.000 There is one race in America that has the media very worried.
00:01:31.000 I could tell you, people are looking at this race and they're seeing a grassroots movement unlike anything I've seen except for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020.
00:01:41.000 And that is the Arizona governor's race.
00:01:45.000 I'm getting messages from people all across the country about Carrie Lake.
00:01:48.000 And I'm telling you, Carrie Lake is going to be America's governor if she wins in 15 days.
00:01:53.000 And she looks like the momentum is with her, but we can't take anything for granted.
00:01:58.000 And Carrie Lake joins us right now.
00:02:00.000 Carrie, welcome back to the program.
00:02:01.000 How are things on the ground in Arizona?
00:02:03.000 15 days to go.
00:02:04.000 We got the pedal to the metal.
00:02:06.000 Our team is all over.
00:02:08.000 We are knocking on doors.
00:02:09.000 I just heard some great news.
00:02:10.000 We had a meeting from our field director.
00:02:12.000 We have the youngest field director in the country, Matthew is his name, 21 years old.
00:02:16.000 He works his butt off every day.
00:02:19.000 And he said that they are concentrating on swing voters and they are blown away that almost every door they go to with the swing voter, they're able to convince them and talk to them about the issues.
00:02:31.000 And they're moving our direction.
00:02:32.000 And I think that's a really good sign with two weeks left.
00:02:36.000 Well, so Carrie, you got two things going for you.
00:02:38.000 Number one, you're a great candidate and you understand the media, but you're also running up against a total clown and a chicken and a coward and someone who's right.
00:02:48.000 And every time you get in front of the television cameras, you say, actually, tell our audience about how despicably racist Katie Hobbs is.
00:02:55.000 I think it's worth repeating.
00:02:57.000 Well, it's horrible.
00:02:58.000 I mean, it's not a laughing matter.
00:03:00.000 She truly is a twice convicted racist.
00:03:02.000 Two juries of her peers unanimously convicted her of racism on two different cases.
00:03:08.000 And because of that, we're paying a $3 million settlement.
00:03:10.000 Turns out that she thought so little of people of color and women that she paid women of color in her office, not just a little bit less than the men doing the same job, $30,000 a year less than the men in her office doing the same job.
00:03:25.000 And when she was called out for it, one of the women said, what the heck's going on?
00:03:30.000 She fired her.
00:03:31.000 And that woman sued her, rightfully so, and won the lawsuit.
00:03:34.000 And because of that, we, the people, are paying nearly $3 million in settlements.
00:03:39.000 Incredible.
00:03:40.000 And when she was being deposed, she said she fired her.
00:03:44.000 The quote is, because of repeated acts of disobedience.
00:03:48.000 I mean, what year are we in, Charlie?
00:03:50.000 This woman's a monster.
00:03:51.000 And we found out last week or a week and a half ago that when she was in high school, she held mock slave auctions during Spirit Week thinking that was funny.
00:04:00.000 This is shocking stuff.
00:04:02.000 And she couldn't come up with one good thing in a forum when they threw her a softball question.
00:04:07.000 She couldn't come up with one nice thing, one positive thing that she's learned from the Latino community, which comprises a third of our state.
00:04:15.000 My children and my husband are Latino.
00:04:17.000 They just, they were in awe, they just shock in awe when they saw her with that softball question.
00:04:22.000 And all she could come up with, um, um, um, it was just terrible.
00:04:28.000 She's a horrible candidate.
00:04:29.000 She can't articulate anything, let alone her policies.
00:04:33.000 And I don't think people want her policies.
00:04:35.000 Her policies, what she wants to do to Arizona, would turn us into LA or San Francisco.
00:04:40.000 And we can't afford that.
00:04:41.000 We need someone who's strong, who can be an ambassador for this state on a national stage, who can fight for Arizonans each and every day, who will secure the border, make sure our kids are not getting brainwashing, but a proper education so they're ready for the real world, make sure our streets are safe again, and tackle this chronic street homelessness so we don't turn into some of these blue cities.
00:05:03.000 One of the commitments you also made is that you will not mandate or force the COVID vaccine for children.
00:05:10.000 That if people want to take it, it's obviously going to be available.
00:05:12.000 But talk about that.
00:05:13.000 You made that proclamation last week.
00:05:16.000 And by the way, 97% of the American people are with you.
00:05:19.000 Talk about that.
00:05:20.000 Oh, yeah.
00:05:21.000 I mean, listen, Charlie, and you've got a precious baby.
00:05:24.000 These babies come to us in this world perfect, and we're not going to inject them with an experimental shot.
00:05:30.000 Our babies, our children are not guinea pigs.
00:05:34.000 And there's way too much controversy with this shot.
00:05:36.000 We now know, and many of us have known for a long time because we've been researching it, there are injuries associated with this shot.
00:05:43.000 We've seen the various reports just because the mainstream media refused to talk about that because they were making a bunch of money from the government and big pharma.
00:05:53.000 And so they stayed mum about it while people were having major issues.
00:05:57.000 They should be ashamed of themselves.
00:05:59.000 Got blood on their hands.
00:06:00.000 And we're not going to force this on our children in order to get an education.
00:06:04.000 And I will do everything in my power.
00:06:05.000 We already have some legislation that protects our children.
00:06:08.000 What we need to do is make sure that our Department of Health Services knows to make sure that that is actually being implemented.
00:06:15.000 And we will do that because our kids are not guinea pigs.
00:06:18.000 And frankly, we aren't guinea pigs either.
00:06:22.000 And I wish every candidate running for office would have the courage to be able to say that.
00:06:28.000 Let's speaking of children.
00:06:29.000 You know, I don't know why.
00:06:30.000 I'm going to be honest, I don't know why that takes courage.
00:06:33.000 That just takes some common sense and a love for our children.
00:06:36.000 It takes courage.
00:06:37.000 I don't know why.
00:06:38.000 Well, and this kind of goes to why they hate you, Carrie.
00:06:40.000 It takes courage because they're afraid of the media saying something, you know, harsh to them where you invite it and you go toe-to-toe with them every day.
00:06:47.000 That's why they're so afraid of you because you're more articulate, more charismatic, and smarter than all these low-life reporters.
00:06:53.000 I want to play a piece of tape here for me.
00:06:55.000 But you know what, really quick, too.
00:06:56.000 They might be getting paid from the they might be getting money from the big pharma.
00:06:59.000 Oh, they almost assuredly are.
00:07:01.000 By the way, the media is going to say, oh, that's conspiracy theory.
00:07:03.000 Oh, yeah.
00:07:03.000 You know, go look at the CNN clips brought to you by Pfizer, brought to you by Pfizer, brought to you by Pfizer.
00:07:09.000 In fact, can we get that tape, guys, just to have Carrie's back on that?
00:07:12.000 Because it's amazing how much the media is subsidized by big pharma.
00:07:17.000 The media totally is subsidized by big pharma, but the candidates might be getting money by big pharma as well.
00:07:22.000 But I'll tell you what, the media is so subsidized by big pharma.
00:07:25.000 And rule number one, I'll give you a little inside secret in the TV and mainstream media.
00:07:31.000 Rule number one is don't make your sponsors mad.
00:07:33.000 Don't make the people paying for commercials mad.
00:07:36.000 And that is a big rule.
00:07:39.000 I mean, if you've got a big advertiser and they get somehow caught up, embroiled in crime or some sort of controversy, just notice how the TV stations barely cover that person or that company because they're making lots of money from them.
00:07:55.000 That's why Carrie's a threat.
00:07:57.000 She was in that entire machine and now she's outside of it calling it out.
00:08:01.000 You had an amazing event this weekend that looked like a Trump rally style turnout, Carrie.
00:08:06.000 It was incredible.
00:08:07.000 And let's play cut eight.
00:08:10.000 Katie Hobbs thinks there are 47 different genders.
00:08:17.000 Since we're here at a rodeo, Katie, I've got a challenge for you, Katie Hobbs.
00:08:22.000 Why don't you go out and try to milk a bull and tell me how that goes?
00:08:27.000 I could see Katie Hobbs actually trying to do that.
00:08:29.000 Carrie, elaborate.
00:08:32.000 You know, the insanity of it all.
00:08:34.000 It's comical if it weren't so scary, to be honest.
00:08:38.000 You know, when they talk about all these different genders, the scary thing is they're now pushing this nonsense on our children when we send our precious kids off to school and trying to confuse them.
00:08:48.000 Our children's minds are so malleable, you know, which is such a sweet thing.
00:08:54.000 You know, you can talk to them about all sorts of imaginary stuff and they'll believe it.
00:08:58.000 But we don't want our schools putting in poisonous stuff and psychological abuse.
00:09:03.000 And that's what they're doing.
00:09:04.000 And that's what Katie Hobbs is for.
00:09:06.000 She supports these, what they call gender affirmation surgeries.
00:09:12.000 Yeah, Katie.
00:09:13.000 This is mutilation.
00:09:14.000 Katie Hobbs is pro-medical mutilation and pro-chemical castration of our children.
00:09:18.000 I don't even think she understands what that means.
00:09:20.000 She's not a very bright person, but her handlers know what that means.
00:09:23.000 And I'm sure all the people watching this.
00:09:25.000 And she's for pro-full-term abortion too, Carrie.
00:09:28.000 Is that right?
00:09:28.000 I mean, abortion on demand.
00:09:30.000 Absolutely.
00:09:31.000 You know, sick thing.
00:09:33.000 And I want to talk a little bit about that because for a long time, the media has had people who are pro-life, some of the most wonderful people on this planet running scared because they care about women and they care about babies and they care about moms.
00:09:46.000 And we know we don't need to run scared.
00:09:49.000 We are on the right side of this, Charlie.
00:09:51.000 We want to save as many babies as possible.
00:09:54.000 And I finally have gotten the media to pin down my racist opponent on where she stands on abortion.
00:10:02.000 I said, you know what?
00:10:03.000 We're not the radical ones.
00:10:04.000 We want to save babies, okay?
00:10:05.000 I want to save as many babies as possible.
00:10:08.000 They are the radical ones.
00:10:09.000 My opponent is for abortion right up until you could be in labor, walking into the hospital.
00:10:15.000 And if you want an abortion, she's okay with that.
00:10:18.000 And she's also, her voting record proves it.
00:10:21.000 When presented with a piece of legislation that would save babies who would somehow survive an abortion, that would give them life-saving treatment if they survive an abortion.
00:10:31.000 She voted no on that.
00:10:33.000 She would rather see a baby who survives an abortion die on a cold metal tray than get any medical care and get help.
00:10:40.000 This is this is a she's a monster, frankly.
00:10:43.000 And so we're getting them to pin down where they stand.
00:10:47.000 And it used to be they would say we want safe and rare abortions.
00:10:51.000 Now it's anything but.
00:10:52.000 It's anything goes right up until the moment of birth and then after.
00:10:57.000 And this is diabolical stuff.
00:11:00.000 I agree.
00:11:00.000 Everyone, check out CarrieLake.com and support Carrie right now.
00:11:04.000 We have Carrie for another segment.
00:11:05.000 Carrie needs your help and we got to get Carrie across the finish line.
00:11:08.000 She's going to be America's governor.
00:11:12.000 Look, in the good old days, we Americans argued about which policies to pursue to improve this beautiful country.
00:11:18.000 Charlie Kirk here.
00:11:19.000 Too often we find ourselves arguing about whether or not America is great or not or whether we should be ashamed or whether we should love America.
00:11:27.000 The reason for this is simple.
00:11:28.000 For too many years, too many of our schools have been neglecting to teach young people about our great heritage of liberty, presenting them instead a dishonest narrative of America as a fundamentally unjust or racist country.
00:11:40.000 Hillsdale College is winning in for America, the wonderful Hillsdale College, by offering a free online course, such as The Great American Story, A Land of Hope, Constitution 101, The Meaning of History of the Constitution.
00:11:52.000 As we get closer to Constitution Day, September 17th, I encourage all of you to enroll in one of these wonderful free courses from Hillsdale.
00:11:58.000 And even better, encourage your friends and family to sign up too.
00:12:01.000 Begin your Hillsdale course today at charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:12:05.000 That is charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:12:07.000 Check it out, charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:12:12.000 So, Carrie, I've been telling people that it's ideal to vote on Election Day if possible.
00:12:16.000 But if you have any question that you might be busy or your friends might not be as enthusiastic as you, in-person early voting is also a good option.
00:12:24.000 I'm afraid that Maricopa County is not going to be able to have the infrastructure, the ink, the personnel, the printers to be able to facilitate what I think is going to be the greatest game day election surge.
00:12:35.000 Because, Carrie, I've never seen energy like what we see for you right now in Arizona.
00:12:39.000 It's Trump-esque.
00:12:40.000 What are your thoughts?
00:12:41.000 Should we encourage some people to vote early and in person?
00:12:44.000 I'm going against what some people, you know, who are hardcore say, bring your ballot.
00:12:48.000 If you get a mail and bring it on, vote.
00:12:51.000 If you've got a ballot sitting on your counter and that's how you always vote, fill it out.
00:12:51.000 Just vote.
00:12:56.000 You can walk it into one of the early mailing, early voting centers, or you can send it through the postal service.
00:13:03.000 We just have to get out and overwhelm.
00:13:06.000 And that's what we're going to do.
00:13:07.000 I think they're going to have numbers like they've never seen.
00:13:09.000 I'm worried that incompetent Katie Hobbs is not prepared because we've seen her incompetence time and time again.
00:13:16.000 I'm worried that our county recorders aren't prepared for the number of people who will show up on Election Day.
00:13:21.000 I want everyone who is an Election Day voter to show up on Election Day and stand in line.
00:13:27.000 Bring your own ballpoint pen if you want.
00:13:29.000 I would.
00:13:29.000 I'm going to bring my own ballpoint pen.
00:13:32.000 And we're just going to make sure we vote like our lives depend on it.
00:13:36.000 But I want to make sure that the incompetent Secretary of State who I'm running against is ready.
00:13:42.000 Because we saw what happened on the 2nd of August when she gave bad advice on how many ballots to have ready in Pinal County.
00:13:48.000 They ran out one hour into voting with only Republican ballots.
00:13:53.000 How convenient.
00:13:54.000 Yeah, but I'm going to go a step further.
00:13:55.000 And I mean, you don't have to go there.
00:13:57.000 I think, Katie Hobbs, the last ditch effort she might have is to sabotage this election.
00:14:01.000 I mean, if we do not have the ballots, if we don't have the personnel, you're right, Katie Hobbs is incompetent.
00:14:06.000 Who cares if it's incompetent or malevolence?
00:14:08.000 But I mean, how is it, let's talk more broadly here, Carrie.
00:14:11.000 How is it that someone who is running for an office is allowed to administer their own election?
00:14:15.000 Why is this legal?
00:14:16.000 It shouldn't be.
00:14:17.000 It really shouldn't.
00:14:18.000 We've been calling for her since I got into this race to recuse herself for over a year.
00:14:23.000 Last July of 2021, we started requesting that she recuse herself.
00:14:29.000 She still hasn't.
00:14:30.000 And I know that there are some good lawmakers, some legislators who are going to next session introduce a piece of legislation to prevent that.
00:14:38.000 If you're running an election and running for a higher office, you shouldn't be able to run that election.
00:14:44.000 It's a pretty scary thought.
00:14:45.000 Unfortunately, that won't be a law in time for November 8th.
00:14:50.000 So we got to vote like our lives depend on it.
00:14:52.000 We've got to bring out friends to vote.
00:14:54.000 Even if your friend tells you the night before they're going to go vote, call them that morning and say, are you heading out?
00:14:59.000 What's your plan?
00:14:59.000 Do you want me to give you a lift?
00:15:01.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:15:02.000 I mean, so let's go cut 21.
00:15:04.000 This is something you just said recently.
00:15:05.000 They hide and they put out bogus polls and make people think it's close.
00:15:10.000 I can tell you, it is not close.
00:15:12.000 We drew 3,500 people to a rally and a concert that we had on Saturday night.
00:15:17.000 Conversely, my opponent had her biggest campaign event of the season and there were 15 people there.
00:15:24.000 These polls are not close.
00:15:25.000 We have a movement and nothing's going to stop it.
00:15:28.000 We have a movement, Carrie.
00:15:29.000 And then Politico is saying, Biden administration set to warn about threats to nation's election infrastructure.
00:15:36.000 Are they trying to get ahead of the narrative here?
00:15:38.000 What's going on here?
00:15:39.000 I don't know.
00:15:39.000 I mean, you know, get with it.
00:15:41.000 This is where we need to vote these bureaucrats.
00:15:43.000 Get rid of the bureaucrats.
00:15:45.000 Vote these lifer political pawns out of office.
00:15:50.000 And let's get we the people in charge of our government where we actually bring some competency in.
00:15:56.000 I was wrong, by the way.
00:15:57.000 We had more than 3,500.
00:15:58.000 We just had our weekly meeting with my team.
00:16:00.000 We had more than 4,000 people at our event.
00:16:03.000 For a governor's race.
00:16:04.000 This is unheard of, Carrie, in a state like Arizona.
00:16:08.000 I mean, you're not running for president.
00:16:09.000 That's 4,000 people.
00:16:10.000 It's unbelievable.
00:16:12.000 And I'm going to tell you, this is not about me.
00:16:14.000 This is about we the people realizing that what's happened to our lives the last two years has been so outrageous, so un-American, so disgusting that these moms and dads and grandmas and grandpas and people from all walks of life and our young, our young people as well are rising up and saying, we're going to, we are going to chart the course for our future and we're getting involved.
00:16:36.000 We've got a republic if we can keep it.
00:16:38.000 Yes.
00:16:38.000 Those were the famous words of Benjamin Franklin.
00:16:41.000 We are in the if we can keep it part.
00:16:42.000 And I'm telling you, Charlie, people of Arizona are ready to keep it.
00:16:45.000 Yeah, amen.
00:16:46.000 I'm telling you, independents are coming your way.
00:16:48.000 It's a really beautiful thing.
00:16:50.000 The Parents Party is strong in Arizona.
00:16:53.000 It is broadening.
00:16:54.000 It is strengthening.
00:16:55.000 And everyone in the national audience, we have got to get behind Carrie Lake.
00:16:59.000 You want the Board of Secure?
00:17:00.000 You need Carrie Lake.
00:17:02.000 You want the Beachhead for Freedom?
00:17:03.000 You want Kerry Lake.
00:17:04.000 You want to win back the White House in 24?
00:17:06.000 You need a Republican governor in Arizona to set that framework, to set the precedent.
00:17:11.000 It is a national race.
00:17:12.000 I don't say this about a lot of races.
00:17:13.000 Arizona is a national governor's race.
00:17:16.000 And Katie Hobbs has just raised all this money from Silicon Valley oligarchs.
00:17:20.000 We need to defeat her.
00:17:21.000 Carrie Lake has a movement unlike anything I have seen in my 10 years of doing this, absent Donald Trump, and the first time I've ever seen it on the state-based level.
00:17:28.000 And the media hates her.
00:17:29.000 We've got to help her out.
00:17:30.000 CarrieLake.com.
00:17:32.000 And Carrie, I think I'm doing an event with you a week from tomorrow or maybe the next.
00:17:36.000 Ask Me Anything.
00:17:36.000 I'm excited to do that.
00:17:38.000 That's going to be great.
00:17:38.000 Oh, I can't wait.
00:17:39.000 K-A-R-ILA.com.
00:17:41.000 Okay, vote Republican down the ticket.
00:17:43.000 We need to vote these leftists out of office.
00:17:45.000 That's generous of her to say.
00:17:46.000 Not every candidate will say that.
00:17:48.000 They only care about themselves.
00:17:49.000 That's who Carrie Lake is.
00:17:50.000 Support her, CarrieLake.com.
00:17:54.000 Let me ask you this.
00:17:55.000 Do you know the real story of George Floyd?
00:17:58.000 Look, we know about BLM, the organization, not the movement, used Floyd's name to raise $90 million.
00:18:04.000 But where did all the money go?
00:18:06.000 Well, we finally have answers.
00:18:07.000 Because Candace Owens interviewed the people who were closest to George Floyd and uncovered the parts the media will never tell you.
00:18:13.000 I am so excited to see this.
00:18:16.000 The great Candace Owens, who, by the way, is doing some stops with us at Turning Point USA.
00:18:20.000 We're honored to have that.
00:18:21.000 She has the new documentary, The Greatest Lie Ever Sold, and it will bring all the answers to light.
00:18:26.000 Candace, she went there.
00:18:28.000 She went to Minneapolis to the scene of the violent, racially divided aftermath that tore our beautiful country apart.
00:18:34.000 And she followed the money to uncover BLM's executives living in million-dollar mansions.
00:18:39.000 But that's only the beginning of where the money has gone.
00:18:42.000 You'll be disturbed by how the $90 million worth of well-meaning donor funds have been used.
00:18:46.000 If you want to hear the reality and not the narrative, you need to see this movie.
00:18:50.000 Go to dailywire.com slash Charlie and become a Daily Wire Plus member.
00:18:55.000 It's well worth it.
00:18:56.000 They got great people there.
00:18:57.000 You'll not want to miss it.
00:18:59.000 Support Candace Owens and see her new movie.
00:19:01.000 I can't wait to watch it.
00:19:02.000 We have plans.
00:19:03.000 As soon as it comes out, boom, we're going to watch it.
00:19:05.000 Dailywire.com slash Charlie.
00:19:07.000 Check it out.
00:19:10.000 Joining us now is Molly Hemingway from The Federalist, and you got to check out her book.
00:19:14.000 Her book on the 2020 election, Rigged, was just such a great book.
00:19:18.000 Molly, welcome back to the program.
00:19:20.000 Thank you for joining us.
00:19:21.000 Molly, I want to talk about something here that's really firing me up.
00:19:24.000 The Turtle is spending $9 million in Alaska to prop up Lisa Murkowski.
00:19:29.000 Meanwhile, Blake Masters and Herschel Walker and Oz and Ron Johnson and JD Vance and Adam Laxalt are in a fight for their political life.
00:19:36.000 And now Republican Lisa Murkowski pledges to vote for the Democrat in the Alaska House over Sarah Palin.
00:19:43.000 This is what the turtle is subsidizing.
00:19:45.000 Molly, what's going on here?
00:19:46.000 Yeah, it's just a very weird situation in Alaska because the general election is pitting two Republican candidates against each other.
00:19:56.000 You have Lisa Murkowski, who, as you note, has promised to vote for the Democrat running for the House race versus Kelly Shabaka, who's the conservative endorsed, Republican endorsed candidate in that race.
00:20:09.000 So no matter who wins, you get a Republican.
00:20:12.000 So why is Mitch McConnell devoting 7 million plus of his PAC money to that race when you have these races that are where that money could be much better utilized for a larger Republican majority?
00:20:25.000 And so people are frustrated and just it's a it's a good example.
00:20:29.000 It's not the only situation where Mitch McConnell's choices have been bizarre.
00:20:33.000 You know, he famously abandoned the Arizona race, which is, which really needs money because that's the race that Democrats have focused, laser focused on in their attempt to keep Blake Masters from winning that race.
00:20:45.000 And also in the New Hampshire race, he pulled money out of there, which is a surprisingly close race, given that Democrats were supposed to have an easy hold.
00:20:53.000 But this is his approach.
00:20:55.000 But what do you think his calculus is?
00:20:57.000 Counting votes, not seats.
00:21:00.000 Basically, he wants to be leader, whether it's in the majority, the minority.
00:21:03.000 Do you think that's the calculus?
00:21:05.000 Yeah, I think, you know, and I think that's a reasonable thing.
00:21:08.000 He has an interest in his power.
00:21:11.000 Everyone kind of, everyone who's involved in this, they do want Republicans to win, but they want Republicans to win in the way that most matches where their ideas are.
00:21:22.000 And right now, there is this big debate in the Republican Party about whether the former leaders, the former establishment figures get to regain control and push the policy proposals that they really enjoyed pushing, you know, in the early aught, or whether the party has moved on and become a more multiracial working class party where the policy ideas are supposed to be focused on the needs of the people, the voters, whether that's economic or social or foreign policy or, you know, focusing on borders, whatever the issues are,
00:21:51.000 there are people who really want to kind of drag it back to that Bush-Cheney era.
00:21:55.000 Yeah, I mean, I know Mitch McConnell, his top priority is obviously to serve, you know, Ukraine because that really matters to him and to make sure that Zelensky gets all the money he needs while Americans can't put food on the table and the border remains wide open.
00:22:08.000 So as long as Mitch McConnell gets money to Ukraine, I'm sure the Unit Party remains super happy.
00:22:14.000 $75 billion we have spent on Ukraine and McConnell couldn't lift a finger to go secure the southern border.
00:22:20.000 But at least Lisa Murkowski gets her $7 million while Blake Masters just can't struggle against Mark Kelly.
00:22:27.000 That's Mitch McConnell.
00:22:28.000 Charlie, could I point out really quickly too, Liz Cheney, who was ousted by the Republican Party in Wyoming, is of course the media darling.
00:22:37.000 She was on all these Sunday shows and she said that spending nearly $80 billion on Ukraine's war with Russia makes you an isolationist because what you actually have to spend is literally unlimited money.
00:22:53.000 She says that Kevin McCarthy, by saying that it can't be a blank check to Ukraine, which is to me just the most sensible moderate position in the world, it can't be a blank check after $80 billion.
00:23:05.000 She says that's isolationist and makes you pro-Putin.
00:23:09.000 And the idea that after taxpayers who don't have a functioning border, who have a drug crisis, who have an economic crisis, who can't afford groceries or gas, and give $80 billion to Ukraine to call those people Putin lovers is just a great example of why the Republican Party is moving on from that neocon interventionist form.
00:23:31.000 Again, Liz Cheney calling us pro-Putin is the same as the Democrats calling everything racist.
00:23:36.000 They just don't think anything through.
00:23:37.000 It's just weaponizing name-calling.
00:23:39.000 And she literally can't make a coherent argument.
00:23:42.000 But she really wants to make sure that Zelensky gets his money because she has a lot of benefactors in Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed, Martin, and Boeing that pay the bills of the Cheney family.
00:23:51.000 But God forbid they actually represent their voters.
00:23:53.000 That's why Liz Cheney lost by, what, 38 points, 40 points?
00:23:56.000 Okay, I want to get to your story here, though, Molly.
00:23:58.000 Very important.
00:23:58.000 And I'm so glad you wrote it.
00:24:00.000 Thank you for writing it against this really snake of a guy, Stephen Richer.
00:24:05.000 You said Stephen Richer ran on election integrity.
00:24:08.000 Now he's accused of law breaking and politicking.
00:24:11.000 I called him an accused criminal yesterday.
00:24:13.000 Tell us about it, Molly.
00:24:15.000 Yeah, so Stephen Richer, so first of all, Maricopa County in Arizona is the second largest voting district in the country.
00:24:22.000 It contains like 62% of Arizona voters.
00:24:26.000 So the person who runs elections in Maricopa County is the person who kind of controls elections in Arizona.
00:24:32.000 And of course, Arizona being a swing state means it's a very influential nationwide role.
00:24:36.000 This guy, Stephen Richer, ran pretending to be a conservative Trump supporting Republican.
00:24:41.000 He ran multiple audits.
00:24:43.000 He had no experience running audits, but he ran multiple audits on Maricopa County and the guy who was the Democrat head of elections there prior to 20 to 2020 when Stephen Richer won and was elected on this platform, that he would kind of deal with some of the shenanigans that were happening in Maricopa County.
00:25:02.000 The moment he gets elected, he immediately renounces his previous positions, defends the integrity of his predecessor, who's now running for Secretary of State of Arizona as a Democrat, defends the integrity of everything that happened in Maricopa County, including, you know, this is a state where millions of dollars of Zuck bucks went into the election administration.
00:25:23.000 That's where, you know, private entities took over government election offices to juice up Democrat get out the vote operations.
00:25:31.000 Richer, this guy, knew that was going on and critiqued it when he was running for office, but now defends such activities.
00:25:38.000 And he said he would be less political than his predecessor.
00:25:41.000 He actually set up a crazy never Trump funded PAC to support candidates running in Arizona who share his viewpoint that election integrity is a bad issue.
00:25:52.000 Unbelievable.
00:25:54.000 So what laws is he accused of breaking?
00:25:56.000 Well, most recently, you know, there's this election integrity initiative to bolster voter ID in the state of Arizona.
00:26:04.000 It's supported by every conservative group, every Republican elected official, and it is opposed by Stephen Rich, head of Maricopa County's recorder's office.
00:26:16.000 And he took taxpayer resources to lobby for that.
00:26:21.000 He posted on the county website a demand that people not vote for it.
00:26:26.000 And he used taxpayer-funded resources in the form of employee hours to put together that information telling people not to vote for this election integrity measure.
00:26:36.000 That's against the law in multiple ways in Arizona, according to people who are election law experts there.
00:26:42.000 And so a complaint was filed with the Attorney General of Arizona.
00:26:46.000 He actually admitted he was wrong to have done this and pulled it from the site.
00:26:52.000 But the investigation into the use of county taxpayer resources to do this illegal thing is ongoing.
00:26:59.000 And so, but this is a national issue because what happens in Maricopa County impacts the rest of the nation.
00:26:59.000 Unbelievable.
00:27:05.000 It is one of the largest counties in the country.
00:27:07.000 The largest Republican county in the country.
00:27:09.000 And Stephen Richer, as you put in this article, styled himself as a hardcore libertarian.
00:27:14.000 Yeah, how many weak people end up, I'm a hardcore libertarian.
00:27:17.000 In fact, I just want to be loved.
00:27:19.000 And so then he has this crazy text exchange.
00:27:21.000 Talk about this that you catalog in your piece.
00:27:25.000 Stephen Richer writes lengthy screeds against his political opponents.
00:27:29.000 And he did these audits, you know, beforehand that were hundreds of pages long.
00:27:34.000 And when he began trashing Republican voters and their leaders who care about election integrity, it was in the form of like 60-page diatribes.
00:27:42.000 But in one of these audits that he did before he was elected, one of his critiques was that his predecessor was very inappropriate with constituents and other interested parties, that he would drop the F-bomb all the time.
00:27:55.000 And just like weeks ago, he unsolicited texts someone, drops the F-bomb, you know, is cussing him out because this guy, who's a Republican election attorney, had given a fairly anodyne quote about why they were pursuing a legal strategy.
00:28:10.000 And this Stephen Richard guy just goes after him and attacks him.
00:28:16.000 And the guy just kind of is calmly responding the whole time and he just keeps cussing him out.
00:28:20.000 And it was just a great example of how he didn't even believe that part of what he'd been saying in order to get elected.
00:28:25.000 He claimed he cared about civility and discourse, and yet he is known by many of his constituents to have a horrible temper, just like his predecessor.
00:28:34.000 Yeah, so what is the broader lesson here?
00:28:35.000 Because this guy ran as to try to reform Maricopa County elections from a really bad guy, Adrian Fontes, who now it just seems it's even more frustrating.
00:28:44.000 I don't want to say it's worse, certainly not better.
00:28:46.000 It has different problems than when Fontes was in charge.
00:28:49.000 So what's the lesson here, Molly, that we can't trust these, you know, super libertarian people when they want to run.
00:28:55.000 I don't want to make it too ideological in that way, but he certainly is a snake at the very least.
00:29:00.000 It's interesting.
00:29:01.000 The whole reason I found out about this story is that some of his earliest supporters and funders were just horrified that they had fully endorsed this guy and helped him out.
00:29:10.000 And then he had turned on them.
00:29:12.000 And so this is, you know, I don't think this happens altogether that often, but there were some red flags.
00:29:18.000 You know, he had worked at Cato.
00:29:19.000 He had worked at AEI, which is an institution that is known for opposing Republican policies.
00:29:25.000 I mean, it presents itself as like a Republican supportive think tank, but it's really kind of become a red flag.
00:29:31.000 They, of course, supported Liz Cheney in her attacks on the Constitution.
00:29:35.000 On Constitution Day, they brought Liz Cheney in to talk about the Constitution.
00:29:40.000 Meanwhile, she's actually attacking people's First Amendment rights, whether that's freedom of Liz Cheney on the Constitution.
00:29:45.000 That's rich.
00:29:46.000 Yeah, it's really freedom of assembly, due process.
00:29:49.000 And so I think AEI has really discredited itself.
00:29:52.000 And so anyone who's affiliated with it, I'm not saying everyone there is bad.
00:29:55.000 There are some good people there, but you really have to check it out.
00:29:59.000 And the thing is, though, it's hard to protect against complete liars.
00:30:03.000 The sad thing is that a lot of people kind of sell out over time.
00:30:06.000 They're elected with a claim that they will be fiscally conservative or socially conservative, and then they just keep squishing out.
00:30:12.000 In this case, I think it's interesting because he just did it immediately, just immediately.
00:30:17.000 It was clear that he didn't actually believe the things he was saying.
00:30:20.000 I mean, I should say maybe there was some miraculous change overnight, but it was a real quick sellout.
00:30:26.000 Yeah, he saw political expediency in this whole nonsensical incantation of the left.
00:30:32.000 It's a threat to democracy.
00:30:33.000 In fact, actually, he even says that in his text message, his expletive filled text message.
00:30:38.000 He's such a weak, shallow, fragile person.
00:30:40.000 And he texts this, he says, only one of us is lying before a court of law and prostituting ourselves at the expense of democracy.
00:30:47.000 Yeah.
00:30:47.000 Okay, Stephen Richard.
00:30:48.000 I mean, you're the guardian of democracy.
00:30:50.000 Sure.
00:30:51.000 Yeah, he just sounds as shrill as anybody.
00:30:54.000 And it's just, it's just a really remarkable thing.
00:30:57.000 I will say I got a lot of comments from people after I published this saying they'd known him for years and that they found him to always be this kind of smarmy guy.
00:31:05.000 Molly, let's go through what could the Democrats possibly have up their sleeves in the next 15 days.
00:31:10.000 I mean, what I really worry about is that they have something globally significant up their sleeves, like nuclear war with Russia, but praying that nothing like that happens, which would be a really extreme measure.
00:31:22.000 I do think that they have put a lot of time, energy, and focus on election rules, laws, and processes.
00:31:32.000 And so they are feeling comfortable in places where they've really been able to engage in election administration shenanigans.
00:31:40.000 A great example is Pennsylvania.
00:31:42.000 This is a completely lawless state in terms of election integrity.
00:31:47.000 You have had the Secretary of State publicly state a refusal to comply with the Supreme Court of the United States ruling on whether to accept undated ballots in their election processes.
00:31:59.000 You have a state Supreme Court that has completely conflicting guidance based on whether a given issue will benefit Democrats or Republicans.
00:32:08.000 You have rampant unsupervised balloting in the form of mail-in balloting throughout the state.
00:32:14.000 And you have an aggressive litigation team there for Democrats as well.
00:32:18.000 Now, I know that Democrats say that if you challenge any election administration process, that makes you an election denier.
00:32:24.000 So certainly they won't challenge anything in these upcoming midterms, I'm sure.
00:32:30.000 But if they are going to instead just do whatever it takes to do this, this thing is so dishonest.
00:32:35.000 I mean, you've done a Brazil saying it's Jim Crow 2.0.
00:32:38.000 Wait a second.
00:32:39.000 Isn't that you accusing the integrity of our elections?
00:32:42.000 You're going literally the other this weekend, it's Jim Crow 2.0.
00:32:45.000 Okay, so are our elections fair and free or is it the antebellum South?
00:32:49.000 I mean, they're allowed to criticize every outcome that they don't like, every single little inch of our elections.
00:32:55.000 But we all of a sudden ask questions about mule operations and ballots and zucker boxes and they go raid our homes, Molly.
00:33:01.000 Oh, Charlie, I mean, you look at the history of election challenges from the Democrat Party.
00:33:06.000 That's what they're known for.
00:33:08.000 They're really good at it.
00:33:09.000 They've done it for decades.
00:33:10.000 The last time they fully accepted a presidential election they lost was with George H.W. Bush.
00:33:16.000 And yet we had in 2020 the weirdest election of our lifetimes with the changes, radical changes.
00:33:22.000 Sometimes they were legal, sometimes they were illegal, of hundreds of laws and processes.
00:33:27.000 And you're not allowed to question anything.
00:33:28.000 And it's just, I mean, they're pushing hard on this right up till the bitter end.
00:33:32.000 So it'll be funny to watch them switch overnight after election day into challenging election results and processes.
00:33:39.000 So Molly, I'm also trying to warn people about Election Day issues, right?
00:33:39.000 Yeah.
00:33:44.000 And so I know, so for example, we did a big grassroots event yesterday on AM 960, the Great Salem radio network, and there were probably 500 people there.
00:33:53.000 I said, how many of you plan to vote on Election Day?
00:33:55.000 I got to tell you, every hand went up.
00:33:56.000 And that worries me about backlogs, about traffic jams.
00:34:00.000 I mean, in Arizona, the way we do elections, it makes Honduras look ethical and transparent and clean, where they print the ballots the day of the whole thing's a mess.
00:34:08.000 Do you think there might be an issue that there is too much of an emphasis on game day voting, Molly?
00:34:14.000 Only, now, I don't actually worry about people voting on election day, which is a great day to vote.
00:34:18.000 And there's something very healthy about people all going to the polls on a single day and finding out that day what the results are.
00:34:24.000 What I am worried about is that because Republican voters vote on Election Day, they don't realize that their poll observation, that their election observation needs to have been already starting weeks ago.
00:34:35.000 So if you were worried about ballots being accepted that don't follow the law, you should have been signed up and trained to be an election observer months ago, because other people have been voting for weeks.
00:34:46.000 And it's those votes that you're probably going to be more concerned about because they are so unsupervised.
00:34:51.000 They are so prone to coercion or other problems, you know, harvesting or other problems.
00:34:56.000 So that is what people need to understand.
00:34:59.000 Even if they vote on election day, election day has become election season and it all needs oversight, not just the final day.
00:35:05.000 Seriously, there's going to be a lot of questions around this.
00:35:09.000 And I'm telling people, you know, we're going to be streaming live here on Real America's Voice.
00:35:13.000 We're going to be streaming live on Rumble.
00:35:14.000 We're going to be doing election night coverage.
00:35:16.000 But Molly, do you think we're actually going to know a winner on election night of the U.S. Senate?
00:35:20.000 Your thoughts?
00:35:21.000 30 seconds remaining.
00:35:23.000 No, and it's really, it makes me feel like we're in a third world country.
00:35:27.000 Other countries were able to tally nationwide ballots within minutes or hours.
00:35:32.000 And particularly in Pennsylvania and Arizona, which have a reputation for very slow counting, we are not going to know.
00:35:39.000 And there is nothing good or normal about it.
00:35:41.000 And it's why people are more prone to critiquing or even rejecting election results because delays are not healthy for the body politic.
00:35:50.000 No kidding.
00:35:50.000 It creates dissension and cynicism and it creates all sorts of fracturing.
00:35:54.000 Unnecessarily quick election results are good for everybody, like Florida does it.
00:35:59.000 Molly, great job as always.
00:36:00.000 Thank you so much.
