00:01:18.000 Very important guest here.
00:01:19.000 Thrilled to have him on.
00:01:20.000 It's John Lovell, author of an important new book, The Warrior Poet Way, a Guide to Living Free and Dying Well, founder of the Warrior Poet Society.
00:01:31.000 John, welcome to the program.
00:01:32.000 Tell us about your book.
00:01:33.000 Thanks so much for having me on, Charlie.
00:01:35.000 Basically, I'm contending that men shouldn't be a lover or a fighter.
00:01:40.000 We should be both and.
00:01:41.000 You should be a lion and a lamb, a warrior and a poet.
00:01:45.000 And each category, each archetype has critical, essential pieces for the masculine heart that'll allow us to prevail in a society gone horribly wrong.
00:01:55.000 We need strength of warriors and we need some of the emotional wherewithal and the sensitivity, the wisdom, the passion of poets.
00:02:04.000 So walk us through some of the components of the book.
00:02:08.000 So when I think a warrior poet, I think of King David.
00:02:11.000 What other examples would you give of people that were both warriors and poets that embodied that kind of mixture of archetypes the best?
00:02:19.000 You already grabbed such a great one.
00:02:21.000 And the Bible is one of the greatest warriors in the Bible, happened to write almost all of the psalms, most of the Psalms.
00:02:26.000 And so he's also the greatest worshiper.
00:02:28.000 So you can absolutely make a B-line for King David.
00:02:32.000 I'd also say, hey, Jesus was a fantastic, the consummate warrior poet for sure.
00:02:37.000 But you can also look at the freedom fighters of old, of people that would be known of like William Wallace, for instance.
00:02:44.000 So I guess the objection that some people would have against, I don't know, like the resurgence of masculinity is they use this word toxic masculinity.
00:02:55.000 What would your response be to that criticism?
00:02:58.000 I think it's just ridiculous propaganda.
00:03:00.000 I mean, women, femininity can be absolutely toxic as well.
00:03:04.000 It's not masculinity or femininity that's toxic.
00:03:07.000 It's just people that are toxic.
00:03:09.000 Now, males should have attributes that are fantastic.
00:03:13.000 They're great.
00:03:14.000 Like my wife recognizes that I'm a romantic guy.
00:03:17.000 I'm a passionate guy.
00:03:18.000 I'm available for her.
00:03:19.000 My kids recognize I'm emotionally available for them.
00:03:22.000 So they don't fear me, but I'd like the Taliban to fear me because I also have attributes there that are important for being able to safeguard freedom in a world that is broken and dangerous.
00:03:33.000 So the left is attacking masculinity.
00:03:36.000 We talked about this MSNBC article yesterday, how the far right is embracing fitness culture or all that trash and garbage.
00:03:43.000 The quintessential American man is vanishing and disappearing.
00:03:46.000 So what practical steps do you talk about in the book or in your book, in your work at the Warrior Poet Society that can be done to revive and recover the American male?
00:04:00.000 So men in their heart of hearts, aside from all the leftist propaganda that's trying to get us to compete on a race to the bottom to see how weak we can go.
00:04:09.000 There's some men, there's a lot of men.
00:04:11.000 Most men aren't going to follow them down that.
00:04:13.000 And so we do give. really, really practical steps of how we can be strong.
00:04:18.000 Stuff rubber meets the road of like, hey, man, do some jiu-jitsu.
00:04:21.000 Be a good protector.
00:04:22.000 If you really love people and the world is dangerous, be a good protector.
00:04:26.000 That's a loving thing to do.
00:04:27.000 Work out.
00:04:28.000 Get some cardio in there.
00:04:29.000 But aside from just the obvious physical strength elements, I really, when I think about a man that's strong, it's not just a dude with lats growing out of his ears and just ripped with a huge deadlift.
00:04:40.000 It's also somebody that is emotionally strong and spiritually strong, meaning they have good character.
00:04:46.000 One of the things that I miss the most is moral courage, that we wouldn't self-censor, that we would bravely take to task evil that needs to be kept at bay and us to be able to stand up and say the hard things.
00:04:59.000 I don't care if I get canceled anymore.
00:05:00.000 I don't care.
00:05:01.000 I'm so sick of evil depravity.
00:05:05.000 So, yeah, I want to be emotionally strong.
00:05:07.000 I want to be intellectually strong.
00:05:09.000 Read a book for crying out loud.
00:05:11.000 Guys, put your screens down a moment.
00:05:13.000 Let's be full-bodied men, strong in a myriad of different areas.
00:05:18.000 So one of the elements of your book, and I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I'm looking at kind of some of the summaries, is turning to ancient wisdom.
00:05:27.000 What in particular, what texts, what authors, what writers do you think can be most helpful for a young man who is looking to become a warrior poet?
00:05:37.000 Yeah, fantastic question.
00:05:39.000 Today, we have progressed so far without really determining which direction we're progressing in.
00:05:45.000 And a lot of the old ancient paths have stood for millennia.
00:05:48.000 And those ancient paths were filled with all the gritty, long-suffering, tough men of old that have built societies and safeguarded them.
00:05:57.000 And so really, it's almost any era of history.
00:06:01.000 You can find these great warrior poets.
00:06:03.000 And so I wouldn't be like, oh, look at this one.
00:06:05.000 No, it's almost all of it, except for this postmodern deconstructionistic, a feat-weak age.
00:06:11.000 All of human history up into this point is replete with really strong men and examples to go from.
00:06:17.000 Just don't look at our culture today because we're failing as warriors and we're also absolutely failing as poets.
00:06:23.000 We're neither one right now.
00:06:25.000 Yeah, I mean, and I would recommend Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, which is incredibly important and powerful.
00:06:31.000 I mean, anything of the Stoics.
00:06:34.000 And I mean, I think Churchill was a warrior poet, literally, was one of the most prolific authors of the 20th century, 50 published books.
00:06:42.000 And boy, did he know war.
00:06:44.000 So you say this postmodernist deconstructionist age is different.
00:06:51.000 What in particular do you think is the motivating force towards what C.S. Lewis used this phrase, but he meant it differently, the abolition of man.
00:07:01.000 I think we're seeing that.
00:07:02.000 We're seeing the men without chests actually materialize in more ways than one.
00:07:08.000 So what is the motivating force to abolish men in our age?
00:07:14.000 Yeah, I think if you make society's men very weak, well, it's really easy to take over society.
00:07:21.000 I think that's the end goal of our ruling betters.
00:07:23.000 It should be no shock to anyone.
00:07:25.000 What they'd like is more power for longer.
00:07:29.000 The biggest thing that stands in their way is strong men that draw a line in the sand and say, yeah, I'm not going to let you go any further than this.
00:07:36.000 And so if you can just eviscerate everything it means to be a man, manhood will dry up and cease to be.
00:07:42.000 I think that's the outward motivating factor there.
00:07:45.000 And from that, all kinds of cultural elements all gather together as our corrupt institutions of power, which all been basically commandeered, are gathering up to undermine masculinity.
00:07:58.000 And so there's even attack just on boys growing up so that they'll never reach that full, vibrant masculinity that they could be world changers for.
00:08:07.000 Those are the people that are revolutionaries.
00:08:10.000 Those are the reformers, right?
00:08:12.000 And so I think those are the great fears of our ruling elites, and they want to stop them from being able to grow into the people that would supplant them later.
00:08:20.000 One of the things you argue in your book is to rethink dangerous.
00:08:24.000 What do you mean by that?
00:08:26.000 Sure.
00:08:27.000 So there is dangerous bad.
00:08:32.000 These are villains.
00:08:33.000 And there's dangerous good.
00:08:35.000 These are the heroes.
00:08:36.000 You notice all the active killer events, no matter how the wind-up artists spin it to say that it's all guns are the problem.
00:08:43.000 No, it's evil men.
00:08:45.000 Every single act of killer that shot up a school or whatnot, they were stopped by good men with guns.
00:08:51.000 And so the answer for bad dangerous is actually good dangerous.
00:08:56.000 You don't eradicate good men and defang them and declaw them.
00:09:00.000 You arm them.
00:09:01.000 And the moment we start protecting our kids in the same way that we protect our politicians, all school shootings are going to stop.
00:09:10.000 It reminds me of Aslan in the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, where there was this dialogue where the question was asked about Aslan of, is he safe?
00:09:20.000 And no, but he is good.
00:09:24.000 Absolutely.
00:09:25.000 I love that book.
00:09:26.000 And I got to know, Charlie, what's your favorite Chronicles of Narnia book?
00:09:29.000 I know you're supposed to answer the questions here, ask the questions, but which is the favorite of your seven?
00:09:34.000 Oh, I mean, to be honest, I never really read past The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
00:09:38.000 I'll be very transparent with you.
00:09:40.000 I believe that there was the Caspian one that I began, and then I got sidetracked and got into the Lord of the Rings books.
00:09:46.000 Andrew says the silver chair.
00:09:48.000 And then I got into all of other C.S. Lewis's work, Abolition of Man, Net Hideous Strength, Mere Christianity books.
00:09:54.000 But I refuse to lie.
00:09:55.000 I only read one of them.
00:09:56.000 I should probably read the others.
00:10:00.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:10:01.000 Go to preparewithkirk.com right now.
00:10:04.000 Here's something most Americans haven't heard about.
00:10:07.000 The USDA recently revealed that countless crops planted last season won't be harvested this season.
00:10:13.000 Thanks to extreme weather conditions and worldwide fertilizer shortages, these crops didn't stand a chance.
00:10:19.000 This means food shortages and higher prices at the grocery store are ahead.
00:10:24.000 This is why it's time to stock up on emergency food from MyPatriot Supply, the nation's largest preparedness company.
00:10:31.000 Right now, they're offering a new lower price on their popular four-week emergency food kit.
00:10:36.000 These meals will help give you a peace of mind when the food shortages actually hit.

00:11:04.000 The book we are covering, very important, The Warrior Poet Way by John Lovell.
00:11:08.000 So, John, you have a byline here that I want to ask you about, a guide to living free and dying well.
00:11:14.000 How does one die well?
00:11:16.000 Well, I almost died a lot.
00:11:17.000 And in happening that overseas and special operations units, I was able to really take a self-audit of what I thought was the most important stuff.
00:11:26.000 There's so much that can crop up in a man's life, just the tyranny of the urgent.
00:11:30.000 So much clutter, so much wasted time, so much anxiety when really there's just a few precious things that are ultimately the most important.
00:11:38.000 And that's what you want to cut through.
00:11:39.000 And so, in facing my end, I was able to really rearrange my life and live it well.
00:11:45.000 The way to die well is you live well.
00:11:48.000 If you live a good life, you can meet your end well.
00:11:51.000 But there's too many cliche anecdotal accounts of folks that work their lives very hard.
00:11:57.000 They may have done very well in the workplace, but all of it was for naught because they destroyed relationships along the way.
00:12:05.000 And nobody calls for bank account statements or 401ks on their deathbed.
00:12:10.000 They wish they had fostered better relationships and made their lives count for something more.
00:12:16.000 Yeah, you know, it's a really interesting thing.
00:12:19.000 There was one of my favorite books, my favorite, actually, my favorite book of last year, Comfort Crisis, by Michael Easter.
00:12:24.000 He did a whole chapter on, I believe it was Bhutan or Tibet.
00:12:28.000 I get them confused, but we'll find out.
00:12:30.000 I think it was Bhutan, where they actually emphasize death as part of their national ethos of it's going to happen.
00:12:39.000 You shouldn't just live in like a state of denial.
00:12:42.000 And then you work yourself backwards from, okay, I have limited time by definition.
00:12:49.000 There will be a marginal decade.
00:12:51.000 Everybody has it.
00:12:52.000 You don't know when you enter it, which is the last 10 years of your life.
00:12:55.000 Most people know it when you're in it.
00:12:57.000 And that's kind of dark when you think about it.
00:12:59.000 But there's something very freeing about knowing you will die.
00:13:04.000 And it should create then, you use the word urgency.
00:13:07.000 I think you use it negatively.
00:13:08.000 But I think in this frame, it could be positively that knowing there is an end, that you should have daily purpose and intentionality with your actions.
00:13:18.000 I think that's it.
00:13:19.000 I think the success of a man is predicated on two things.
00:13:23.000 One is what priorities do you set for yourself?
00:13:27.000 And two, how well do you manage between those priorities?
00:13:31.000 And that's well said.
00:13:33.000 And so, yeah, the country I think is, yeah, it's Tibet there.
00:13:39.000 Yeah, I think that's right.
00:13:41.000 I'll find it.
00:13:42.000 Okay, so one other part of the book I want to cover, which you have here, you're talking about the rise of masculine, hopefully reviving masculinity and the left's nonstop attack and assault there.
00:13:57.000 So are you hopeful?
00:13:59.000 Are you seeing a renewed interest from younger men to want to become warrior poets?
00:14:06.000 I am.
00:14:07.000 In certain ways, I'm optimistic.
00:14:08.000 In other ways, I'm not, because I think there's a long and hard climb up.
00:14:13.000 When I look at our institutions of power, whether that's media or Hollywood or the government or big pharma, whatever, wherever I look, academia, the institutions seem to be controlled by radical leftist woke ideology.
00:14:28.000 That's really bad, and that's going to take a lot of painstaking difficulty to get back.
00:14:33.000 But what I see just left and right in my own communities and when I travel, I travel a lot.
00:14:37.000 When I'm actually eyeball to eyeball with other men, I see people that are fed up.
00:14:41.000 I see folks that are retrudging ancient paths that men should walk.
00:14:47.000 And we've kind of lost our way.
00:14:49.000 And now people are really gearing back up.
00:14:52.000 So I don't think things are about to get immediately better.
00:14:56.000 I think they're going to get much, much worse.
00:14:58.000 And after that, hopefully, if we do well, it'll be better.
00:15:02.000 And we have to make it better.
00:15:04.000 That's part of what we have to act in a way obediently to the Lord to try to create a better world.
00:15:11.000 And it's just not going to happen automatically.
00:15:14.000 And I'm in full support of your book, which is The Warrior Poet Way.
00:15:20.000 The way forward is what has worked for thousands of years.
00:15:23.000 Post-modernity is a pile of poison destroying our society.
00:15:29.000 They don't offer a compass.
00:15:30.000 They don't offer a navigational tool.
00:15:32.000 There is no purpose.
00:15:34.000 There is no direction.
00:15:35.000 Instead, it's a power pleasure play that will leave you miserable, depressed, suicidal, addicted.
00:15:41.000 This is what they are feeding nonstop in our colleges.
00:15:44.000 We can call it the woke.
00:15:45.000 We can call it deconstructionism.
00:15:47.000 We can call it postmodernism, whatever.
00:15:49.000 It's trash.
00:15:50.000 They shred the old books.
00:15:52.000 In fact, I recently sat down with someone who said, oh, yeah, I'm studying philosophy at an Ivy League school.
00:15:58.000 And he's like, yeah, but our curriculum, you know, we don't know anything, we don't study anything that is written by white men.
00:16:05.000 I said, well, you're really missing out.
00:16:07.000 Awesome.
00:16:08.000 You're really missing out.
00:16:09.000 Yeah, the foundation of our country had certain elements.
00:16:13.000 When you destroy a foundation, everything's going to come crambling down.
00:16:17.000 And unfortunately, I believe for most naive folks, just asleep at the wheel of life, just busy about your day, thinking that somehow it'll all just work out.
00:16:27.000 No, it won't, guys.
00:16:29.000 You need to wake up.
00:16:30.000 That's right.
00:16:30.000 Things are going downhill very, very fast, and we've got to do something about it.
00:16:35.000 The Warrior Poet Way by John Lovell.
00:16:40.000 People ask me all the time when I travel about Strong Cell.
00:16:43.000 Charlie, is Strong Cell legit?
00:16:44.000 Charlie, do you really believe in the anti-aging properties of NADH?
00:16:47.000 Well, it's not a matter of whether or not, if I believe it, it's the science.
00:16:50.000 You guys could check it out.
00:16:51.000 Fact check me, look at NAD and see what it could do for you.
00:16:53.000 Well, look, I take NAD every single day.
00:16:55.000 Strong Cell is a scientific breakthrough in cellular health replenishment that combines NADH, CoQ10, and marine collagen to boost your body's cellular function.
00:17:04.000 I personally take Strong Cell every day, and so do a ton of Kirk listeners.

00:17:09.000 If you are someone who relies on caffeine or sugar to get yourself going, then you have to give Strong Cell a try.
00:17:13.000 I only have one important request: I recommend this life-changing product.
00:17:17.000 You've got to give it at least four weeks to realize the best results.
00:17:20.000 It takes a little time to re-engineer your body's NADH.
00:17:22.000 Think about it.
00:17:23.000 It's been on decline in your middle-aged body for a year or so.

00:17:38.000 20% discount, strongcell.com, promo code Charlie.
00:17:44.000 So there's a perplexing article that came out, and it's receiving a lot of mockery, and it should receive a lot of mockery.
00:17:51.000 But it makes perfect sense to me.
00:17:54.000 MSNBC.com.
00:17:56.000 White supremacists.
00:17:59.000 Oh, I think they changed the headline.
00:18:00.000 Yeah, they changed the headline on the website.
00:18:02.000 Actually, the old headline is still there in the prior link.
00:18:07.000 Okay, so the previous headline that they got ridiculed on was why the far right is really into home fitness.
00:18:15.000 Yeah, you know, all those white supremacists don't want to be fat like Lizzo or Stacey Abrams.
00:18:21.000 You know, they want to get into shape.
00:18:25.000 White supremacist latest scheme to valorize violence and hyper masculinity has gone digital.
00:18:33.000 Now, I have said this for quite some time, not the white supremacist thing and all that crap.
00:18:36.000 I have said for quite some time that if I'm at a gym or I'm in the gym, and if I see someone who is lifting weights, knows what they're doing, on a tight regimen, strong BMI, it's a 99% chance that they're a right-winger.
00:18:56.000 It's like 99% chance.
00:18:58.000 There's a lot that goes into that, though.
00:19:00.000 You obviously believe in responsibility.
00:19:03.000 You believe in foregoing immediate pleasure.
00:19:09.000 You believe in delayed gratification.
00:19:12.000 You believe in, obviously, higher testosterone rates.
00:19:16.000 You believe that you get what you deserve.
00:19:18.000 You believe that you reap what you sow.
00:19:20.000 These are conservative ideas.
00:19:22.000 They never used to be just conservative ideas.
00:19:24.000 Now, you know, the left-wingers have become so philosophically against normal American values.
00:19:32.000 There is no entitlement in the gym.
00:19:34.000 If you want to talk about one of the places where meritocracy is at its plainest, it's in fitness.
00:19:45.000 You get what you put in.
00:19:48.000 Now, some people build muscle a lot easier than others.
00:19:51.000 Some people lose weight a lot easier than others.
00:19:53.000 But generally, if you spend time in the gym, you're going to see a result, period.
00:20:00.000 And that's actually really empowering because then you get what Tony Robbins calls the life force of our existence, which is progress, momentum.
00:20:09.000 It makes sense, right?
00:20:10.000 If you are not growing, you're dying.
00:20:12.000 And so you're in the gym and you're lifting out.
00:20:16.000 You're doing bench press.
00:20:16.000 You're doing squats.
00:20:17.000 You're on the treadmill, whatever you're doing.
00:20:19.000 You're doing deadlift, your biceps, triceps, shoulders, pull-ups.
00:20:23.000 And you start to realize that the harder you work at this, the more you focus on it, you start to reap a reward.
00:20:30.000 That's beautiful.
00:20:33.000 That should not be a political view, but it is.
00:20:36.000 The left does not believe that.
00:20:38.000 The left believes that you are a victim of your circumstances.
00:20:41.000 So that, no, it doesn't matter how much time you spend in a gym, that you're always going to be fat.
00:20:45.000 You're always going to be slovenly.
00:20:47.000 You're always going to be overweight.
00:20:48.000 You're always going to be diabetic.
00:20:50.000 You're always going to be obese.
00:20:51.000 That you're a victim of external circumstances.
00:20:54.000 So alpha bros that are in the gym, who have sculpted their body, that have made good dietary decisions, stopped drinking, stopped doing drugs, waking up earlier when they could be doing a multitude of other stuff, whether they realize it or not, they are embracing a worldview that makes them the master of their own destiny.
00:21:21.000 That is a conservative value.
00:21:23.000 It requires long-term thinking.
00:21:24.000 It requires saying no to immediate pleasure.
00:21:27.000 Okay, I'm not going to have every dessert.
00:21:29.000 I'm not going to get drunk all the time.
00:21:30.000 I'm going to get good rest.
00:21:32.000 I want goals.
00:21:33.000 I want a teleological purpose for existence.
00:21:35.000 A telos.
00:21:36.000 We get the word telescope, which literally means North Star, where I charter my being towards.
00:21:42.000 Having goals.
00:21:44.000 All this stuff should not be political, but it has become political.
00:21:47.000 So now MSNBC writes that right-wing white supremacists are the ones that believe in getting in shape.
00:21:55.000 If you believe in being in shape and being sculpted and losing weight, you're probably a Nazi.
00:22:04.000 Don't believe me?
00:22:05.000 The MSNBC article literally has a picture of a bicep, a guy like curling a bicep, with Hitler youth in the background.
00:22:15.000 Not an exaggeration.
00:22:17.000 That's MSNBC.com.
00:22:20.000 But this should also make sense politically.
00:22:23.000 A society that is eating well, eating clean, intermittent fasting, not taking processed foods, has their testosterone rates properly balanced, understands their hormones, taking supplements, is properly hydrating, is pushing themselves physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, that makes tyranny harder to become popular.
00:22:45.000 A society that is individually full of millions of strong people, a tyrant, how is Gavin Newsome or J.B. Pritzker going to take control of their lives?
00:22:56.000 They're going to say, screw you.
00:22:59.000 So millions of young men that are now embracing a new fitness culture, which I have a whole other theory as why this is happening.
00:23:06.000 I think that there's this like tribal signal that subconsciously is going off in a lot of young men's minds, which they can't even properly word it.
00:23:14.000 They just see society falling apart, so they want to get stronger for what might be coming next.
00:23:18.000 I honestly believe that's the case.
00:23:20.000 They see moral and societal decay.
00:23:21.000 They see our borders wide open.
00:23:23.000 They see us in these silly and stupid wars.
00:23:25.000 And there's almost this like signal that starts to just go off in a lot of young men, like, I don't know what is coming next, but I need to be physically strong.
00:23:32.000 Completely believe that.
00:23:35.000 But the left is now saying this.
00:23:37.000 Earlier this month, researchers reported that a network of online fascist fitness chat groups on the encrypted platform Telegram are recruiting and radicalizing young men with neo-Nazi and white supremacist extremist ideologies, luring them with health tips and strategies for positive physical changes.
00:23:55.000 New recruits are later invited to close chat groups where far-right content is shared.
00:24:00.000 So I'm a big fan of someone who is not political.
00:24:02.000 And it's so funny.
00:24:03.000 I've made this prediction privately for a while.
00:24:05.000 Andrew Huberman.
00:24:06.000 You may or may not know about him.
00:24:06.000 He has a thing called Huberman Lab.
00:24:08.000 He is so good on data.
00:24:09.000 He's so precise.
00:24:10.000 He's so careful.
00:24:11.000 And I've said, man, the way he's talking, just wait.
00:24:14.000 They're going to come and smear him as a right-winger because he says, yeah, you know, if you do drugs and you eat poorly, you're going to have a bad output.
00:24:22.000 You can't say that.
00:24:23.000 You can't tell people to act a different way.
00:24:26.000 Or Peter Attia, who's also in this space, or Chris Williamson, like really smart guys that are into fitness and into improving your health markers.
00:24:35.000 Peter Atiatas has a new amazing book out about living longer and extending your marginal deck or having your marginal decade be as late as possible.
00:24:43.000 Really, really smart and deep stuff.
00:24:45.000 And I have respect for these guys.
00:24:46.000 Again, I don't care about their politics.
00:24:47.000 And that's one thing that I notice about conservatives is you're allowed to actually enjoy art commentary and speeches from people, even if you don't know their politics.
00:24:55.000 The left, you must pass their purity test before they consume your art or your commentary.
00:24:59.000 It tells you a lot.
00:25:01.000 MSNBC.com writes: the intersection of extremism and fitness leans into a shared obsession with the male body training masculinity, testosterone strength, and competition.
00:25:12.000 Okay, who's obsessed with the male body?
00:25:16.000 People that want to get fit or the gay mafia?
00:25:20.000 I think the gay mafia is more obsessed with the male body, by definition.
00:25:25.000 The U.S. is comparatively far behind because they are establishing fight clubs of MAGA far-right extremists.
00:25:34.000 Continues to say, again, this article should be shocking, but it makes perfect sense.
00:25:39.000 They want men to become metro-sexual betas of low testosterone that are androgynous consumers that sit on their tail all day long, that have no muscle mass, no desire, no purpose.
00:25:52.000 They want you depressed, they want you weak, and they want you easily controlled.
00:25:57.000 They don't want you to ask questions when they make bad decisions.
00:26:01.000 They don't want you to rebel against their authoritarianism.
00:26:07.000 They don't want a disagreeable society.
00:26:10.000 The great reset relies upon the masculine firewall, the masculine bulwark to be obedient or abolished.
00:26:22.000 So they label it as toxic masculinity.
00:26:25.000 God only knows the parabens and the crap in our food.
00:26:29.000 By the way, a story came out last week: 50% of our water supply is poisoned.
00:26:34.000 Toxic.
00:26:34.000 You can find it.
00:26:35.000 This is in the Wall Street Journal, by the way.
00:26:36.000 50% of our water supply is toxic.
00:26:42.000 Somebody has to explain why testosterone rates are down 500 points over the last 30 years.
00:26:47.000 Average testosterone rate of our grandparents' generation, around 800.
00:26:51.000 Average testosterone rate of a male now, 230.
00:26:54.000 What has changed?
00:26:56.000 What has changed?
00:26:58.000 Does anyone have a theory?
00:27:00.000 Can't even say it.
00:27:00.000 The crime of noticing that makes you an ultra-right-wing white supremacist.
00:27:05.000 But yes, this article on the surface is warranted of mockery.
00:27:11.000 But it's actually, Cynthia Miller Idris is an author and an expert on extremism.
00:27:16.000 Yeah, I'm sure she's a wonderful wife.
00:27:18.000 Oh, geez, she looks like she looks like a feminazi on steroids.
00:27:23.000 Holy moly.
00:27:24.000 Jeez.
00:27:25.000 Don't give this woman power.
00:27:28.000 Put her up on screen.
00:27:29.000 Let me, I got this here.
00:27:31.000 It's like Ava Perrone type.
00:27:34.000 She's a professor at the School of Public Affairs at the School of Education at American University, where she directs the Polarization and Extremism Research and Innovation Lab.
00:27:44.000 A weak citizen will not rebel.
00:27:47.000 A weak citizen will not ask questions.
00:27:50.000 Weak men are necessary for the tyrannical totalitarian takeover of America.
00:27:57.000 Yeah, there's Cynthia Miller Idris, who writes the book, who wrote the article, Why the Far Right is Really Into Home Fitness.
00:28:10.000 Nobody who has gotten strong in the gym believes in the lies of liberalism.
00:28:15.000 When you take hours a week in the gym, all of a sudden a government getting in your ear to say to get something for nothing falls.
00:28:23.000 It is incongruent with your practices.
00:28:26.000 When you're in the gym, you don't believe the lies that people are just helpless victims of circumstance.
00:28:31.000 And it's especially strong with fitness because this is the key, it's cheap.
00:28:36.000 In fact, you save money by being healthy, less antidepressants, less obesity drugs.
00:28:41.000 You eat cleaner, you save money, you become a happier, better person, full of life.
00:28:46.000 The left does not want you that way.
00:28:47.000 The corporate America does not want you healthy.
00:28:49.000 The left thinks you need some sort of $20,000 a year program with some overweight Oberlin graduate watching over you to achieve anything.
00:28:58.000 What if I told you that 20 or 30% of some of the mental health issues in America could be solved if you stop drinking, take proper supplements, get outside, go for a walk, exercise, stop watching pornography, and find purpose in your life?
00:29:11.000 Pfizer doesn't want you to know about that.
00:29:13.000 They make way too much money on benzodiazepines, Xanax, Zoloft, and the menu of antidepressants that are thrown at our kids.
00:29:23.000 If you think about it, the decline of masculinity in America is emerging simultaneously with this confusion of what is a man and what is a woman.
00:29:41.000 You know, one of the reasons why I don't like feminism, I wish feminists would actually stand up against these delusional freaks, but is because feminism was never about embracing the feminine.
00:29:52.000 It was trying to make women more like men.
00:29:55.000 And you can make a rather provocative yet accurate argument that feminism, without realizing it, laid the foundation for some of the trans stuff.
00:30:05.000 If you think about it, it was women that wanted to be in the workforce.
00:30:10.000 It was women that said, I can do anything a man can do.
00:30:12.000 These were some of the mantras.
00:30:14.000 And isn't it then logical to say that that will eventually lead to the abolition of sex-separate competitions, sports?
00:30:27.000 Biological Man wins Miss Netherlands over the weekend.
00:30:34.000 Set to compete in Miss Universe.
00:30:36.000 And everyone seems very happy, crowning biological man that does this.
00:30:43.000 All the women are smiling behind.
00:30:45.000 Yay, yay, progress, yay.
00:30:49.000 The winner is a man.
00:30:51.000 It's a disgusting-looking person, honestly.
00:30:54.000 And the runner-up is an objectively good-looking girl.
00:31:00.000 But they picked the man for progress, Netherlands.
00:31:04.000 If we have a resurgence of masculinity, which is happening naturally, one of the top, I mean, I love looking at the podcast charts, not just for our podcast, but I just want to see what are people consuming?
00:31:16.000 What are they listening to?
00:31:18.000 One of the top podcasts, and actually gives me a lot of hope.
00:31:21.000 It's number one, The Bible in a Year by that really, really smart Catholic guy.
00:31:27.000 I can't remember his name.
00:31:28.000 I'll look at it in a second, find it in a sec.
00:31:30.000 And Andrew Huberman, Huberman Lab.
00:31:34.000 The Huberman Lab is basically a podcast, it's health and fitness, that is focused on if you want to improve your life and make good choices, you can do that.
00:31:48.000 And he's massive on YouTube.
00:31:49.000 And whether it be Jocko Woolnick or Joe Rogan, this is a growing genre that the media is just catching up on.
00:31:57.000 I've been following it for years now, and I love it.
00:31:59.000 Because they push you, they challenge you.
00:32:02.000 And there's also, I would love to have him on the show.
00:32:04.000 What is the name of that guy?
00:32:05.000 Oh my goodness, I know his name.
00:32:07.000 Goggins.
00:32:09.000 That guy is just like out of control.
00:32:11.000 He's like next level.
00:32:12.000 David Goggins.
00:32:14.000 I think he set the world record of most pull-ups in a 24-hour period, something like 7,000 pull-ups or something.
00:32:19.000 His whole thing is about you can push yourself more than you realize.
00:32:26.000 And men are gravitating.
00:32:28.000 It's not just Jordan Peterson now.
00:32:29.000 There's this, Jordan Peterson, in some ways, was like the Donald Trump of YouTube commentary of resurgence of young men, meaning he like broke the window open to realize that there was this incredibly untapped reservoir.
00:32:43.000 So now you have Jocko and you have Chris Williamson and you have Peter Attia.
00:32:47.000 It's like across the board of young men that are looking for purpose.
00:32:52.000 Young men that are lost, the most depressed, suicidal, alcohol-addicted, pornography-addicted, drug-addicted generation in history that are constantly told that men are not necessary.
00:33:03.000 Toxic masculinity.
00:33:04.000 If you want to be accepted as a man, just become a woman, and then you might be able to get some points in the oppression Olympics.
00:33:09.000 And here comes this growing genre of find purpose, stop engaging in pleasure, stop being a bum, maybe go on a dopamine fast, start working out more, eat better, fast for great lengths.
00:33:23.000 You are not yet all that you can be.
00:33:27.000 And how does MSNBC react?
00:33:29.000 Hostile to that.
00:33:31.000 They hate that.
00:33:32.000 Anything that empowers the individual to become better, absent, outside control, the left will oppose.
00:33:44.000 There's been a massive shift on the left, and I'm telling you, we can ride this wave to create a better country.
00:33:49.000 There is a subterranean hunger amongst young men, especially to become better versions of themselves.
00:33:58.000 That has not yet manifested politically.
00:34:00.000 I don't care.
00:34:01.000 It doesn't need to.
00:34:02.000 If that wave continues, we will destroy these postmodern control freak tyrants that have been taken over the country.
00:34:10.000 Keep your eye on that.
00:34:11.000 I'm calling it now.
00:34:13.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
