00:01:20.000 In just a minute here, we'll be joined by Tom Homan, the former director of immigration, customs, and enforcement.
00:01:26.000 And I am just chomping at the bit.
00:01:30.000 I got to tell you, because what is going on in Washington, D.C. right now is so it is rather remarkable.
00:01:42.000 First of all, Zelensky, the international welfare queen, is coming to Washington, D.C. to go demand more of our money.
00:01:53.000 I tweeted this morning, or at least I think I tweeted, because I told my team to put it on Twitter.
00:01:57.000 Very simple fact: Ukraine is not in America.
00:02:03.000 Ukraine is not America.
00:02:07.000 Being able to patrol and enforce your border is a luxury that America is no longer afforded.
00:02:17.000 Ukraine is being treated with more sovereignty, care, appreciation, and funding than our own country.
00:02:27.000 And so actually, all of these themes tie together.
00:02:29.000 There is a disgusting omnibus bill that is being passed through the U.S. Senate right now.
00:02:38.000 Because look, the senators, they have a really tough life.
00:02:40.000 They got to get home for Christmas.
00:02:43.000 Democrats do not have the votes to be able to pass this omnibus bill without the assistance of Republicans.
00:02:53.000 They do not have the votes.
00:02:57.000 But Republicans want to get home for Christmas too.
00:02:59.000 And not only do they want to fund the government, they want to have a nine-month extension robbing the new Republican House majority, giving another tens of billions of dollars to Ukraine.
00:03:11.000 Let's get the exact number so I'm precise.
00:03:15.000 Funding January 6th prosecutions and more.
00:03:19.000 Another $45 billion to Ukraine.
00:03:22.000 $45 billion to Ukraine.
00:03:25.000 And the turtle, Mitch McConnell, is going up on the Senate floor saying, hey, this is the number one priority of Republican voters.
00:03:32.000 He's telling you what your priorities are.
00:03:35.000 Play clip 28.
00:03:37.000 Making sure the Defense Department can deal with the major threats coming from Russia and China.
00:03:47.000 Providing assistance for the Ukrainians to defeat the Russians.
00:03:53.000 That's the number one priority for the United States right now.
00:03:58.000 According to most Republicans, that's sort of how we see the challenges confronting the country at the moment.
00:04:06.000 So the Kentucky Turtle is telling you that the number one priority, according to Republicans, Republican what?
00:04:12.000 Republican lobbyists?
00:04:13.000 Republican senators?
00:04:14.000 Not Republican voters.
00:04:17.000 Lisa Murkowski, Senator Shelby, Senator Tubberville, Senator Boozman from Arkansas, Senator Cotton from Arkansas, Senator Rubio from Florida, Senator Grassley from Iowa, Senator Young from Indiana, Senator Moran from Kansas, Senator McConnell from Kentucky, Senator Collins from Name, Senator Blunt from Missouri, Senator Moran from Kansas, Senator McConnell from Kentucky.
00:04:42.000 Sorry, there's some duplicates in this list.
00:04:44.000 I don't know why that's that way.
00:04:46.000 Anyway, Senator Thune from South Dakota, Senator Rounds from South Dakota, Senator Graham from South Carolina, Senator Portman from Ohio, Senator Wicker from Mississippi, Hyde Smith from Mississippi.
00:04:57.000 Do you know what is a really interesting through line here?
00:05:00.000 These are some of the most conservative states in the country.
00:05:03.000 Arkansas, Missouri.
00:05:06.000 It shows that they really don't care about their voters because they just think they're going to get elected no matter what.
00:05:11.000 Joining us now is Tom Holman, former head of immigration, customs, and enforcement.
00:05:16.000 Tom, welcome back to the program.
00:05:18.000 Thanks for having me.
00:05:20.000 So Tom, walk us through.
00:05:21.000 There is some question around Title 42 of the Supreme Court is now putting a pause on it being repealed.
00:05:28.000 What is the significance of this issue with Title 42 when it comes to the relentless invasion of our southern border?
00:05:36.000 Well, look, it's significant, but we've got to accept the fact that we're already in a historic crisis, even with Title 42 in play, right?
00:05:45.000 So we got 1.7 million last year, 2.4 this year.
00:05:49.000 Both historic highs.
00:05:50.000 We've never seen numbers as high in the history of this nation.
00:05:53.000 So we've got to understand historic crisis anyways, out of control despite Title 42 in play.
00:05:59.000 But the crisis right now is taking 70 to 80 percent of agents off the line, taking them off patrol to process these large groups, which means the border is vulnerable to drugs, vulnerable to no suspected terrorists, vulnerable to sex trafficking, women, and children, because you're basically just on the line.
00:06:15.000 If Title 42 drops, that just means more people come, which is going to result in, what, more agents being pulled off the line.
00:06:21.000 I mean, in El Paso last two weeks, you're already 90% of the agents are off the line.
00:06:25.000 There's video out there and box showing hundreds of them just walking across the highway into the city of El Paso, unimpeded by any law enforcement because they simply weren't there.
00:06:34.000 They're tied up processing.
00:06:36.000 So it will get worse.
00:06:38.000 But what I keep telling people is that despite Title 42, even if the secretary and the president want to blame CDC, they have no control over CDC.
00:06:46.000 They'll do what they want, or the courts will do what they want.
00:06:48.000 They still got remain in Mexico.
00:06:50.000 They still can implement that.
00:06:52.000 The courts haven't shut that down.
00:06:54.000 They can put that back in play.
00:06:55.000 They can run it the way the Trump administration did.
00:06:58.000 And we'd have a significant reduction on border crossings.
00:07:01.000 But they're not going to do that because they don't want to secure the border.
00:07:04.000 No, they don't want to secure border for very obvious and transparent reasons.
00:07:09.000 So, Tom, I mean, you've done a lot of work on the southern border, and your leadership really helped make the country safer.
00:07:17.000 It seems like Senate Republicans don't really care about the southern border at all.
00:07:22.000 What could Congress do, if anything, to give resources to Border Patrol and ICE to prevent this invasion of our country?
00:07:30.000 Well, they're not doing it in this bill.
00:07:32.000 Matter of fact, I did a show on Fox two hours ago that I said, I'm frankly sick and tired of many Republicans going downtown the border, doing the dog and pony show, and going back to D.C. and voting for this bill that's sitting there right now.
00:07:49.000 The bill sitting right now is spend billions of dollars to NGOs to process aliens and release them into the country.
00:07:58.000 None of it for border security.
00:08:01.000 And if they're going to go down to do these dog and pony shows, which I'm glad they are, but go back to D.C. and make some moves.
00:08:06.000 Go back to D.C. and at least vote for border security.
00:08:09.000 So, you know, I'm frustrated with it.
00:08:11.000 What they can simply do, this administration, which they won't do, is just turn on Trump policies that have shown the most effective border security ever had.
00:08:19.000 So, you know, when I said Republicans take back the House, they can pass some border bills.
00:08:24.000 We'll see if they got the guts to do it, but it's really a matter of legislation.
00:08:29.000 They don't need a dollar more on the border.
00:08:31.000 They don't need any, all they got to do is change the policies.
00:08:34.000 Trump administration proved that.
00:08:35.000 You put the Remaining Mexico program, man.
00:08:37.000 You put the 36 country game at 10, and you beat 85% of aliens of immigration.
00:08:42.000 This is a policy, it's not really a money issue.
00:08:45.000 However, since the border show is hurting for resources, because a lot of guys have quit, a lot of guys have retired, and God help us, 14 of them suicide.
00:08:53.000 I mean, we'll always use more agents on the line, but this is mainly a policy issue.
00:08:57.000 And the Congress can sit down and fix the three loopholes that are causing this crisis: fix the Trafficking Protection Reauthorization Act that say that children come across the border, once we ascertain they're not a victim of trafficking, they should be returned to their home.
00:09:12.000 Secondly, you gotta fix the asylum rules.
00:09:14.000 Make that first interview on the border at the same threshold the court holds them to.
00:09:18.000 That way, they're not released in the United States on a false claim.
00:09:21.000 And third, change the flora settlement agreement.
00:09:24.000 I'll laugh for a settlement agreement.
00:09:25.000 If a family crosses this border, allow us to hold them at a family residential center for up to 40 days to see a judge.
00:09:31.000 We did it back in 2015 under President Obama, and 90% of the lost their case.
00:09:36.000 We sent them home.
00:09:36.000 And guess what happened?
00:09:37.000 The numbers dropped.
00:09:38.000 If they will take action on those three things, they will solve 85% of the crisis on the border.
00:09:43.000 Well, Tom, we appreciate you fitting us in.
00:09:46.000 And your expertise is needed right now.
00:09:46.000 We're very grateful.
00:09:48.000 And it's such a tragedy what's happening on our southern border.
00:09:51.000 Tom Holman, thank you so much.
00:09:52.000 You got it.
00:09:53.000 Thanks for having me.
00:09:54.000 Email us, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:11:24.000 So let's just make, I just have to reiterate this.
00:11:28.000 First of all, we're keeping an eye on the Cary Lake situation for all of you that are curious on that.
00:11:33.000 There is some very interesting testimony going about the length of the ballots, which seems to be a little bit in the weeds, but it's actually really, really important.
00:11:44.000 Okay, so there is a $2 trillion omnibus bill that cannot be passed without Republican support.
00:11:44.000 Super important.
00:11:53.000 It cannot happen.
00:11:54.000 Now, we've already sent over $100 billion to Ukraine.
00:12:01.000 I just got to brag on this show a little bit.
00:12:04.000 Our production team, our guests, we have been warning about Ukraine and this being a waste of money and a waste of time since the very beginning.
00:12:19.000 And now they want to spend another $45 billion.
00:12:22.000 Where's this money going?
00:12:23.000 Where are the weapons going?
00:12:24.000 Is it being audited?
00:12:27.000 We are doing direct bank transfers into the treasury of Ukraine.
00:12:27.000 The answer is no.
00:12:32.000 And as I mentioned, the uppity foreigner, the international welfare queen that can't be bothered to put on a suit and tie.
00:12:43.000 Let me just make sure I get this right.
00:12:43.000 I don't know.
00:12:44.000 Is Zelensky wearing a suit and tie today?
00:12:46.000 I don't know.
00:12:47.000 He's probably wearing the Fetterman look.
00:12:51.000 So Senate Republicans are enthusiastic to now go spend $2 trillion.
00:12:59.000 $2 trillion.
00:13:02.000 And let me read this list again.
00:13:05.000 Some of these are repeated on this list.
00:13:07.000 I don't know why.
00:13:08.000 So it's Shelly Moore Capito from West Virginia, Mitt Romney from Utah, John Cornyn from Texas, John Thune from South Dakota, Mike Rounds from South Dakota, Lady Graham from South Carolina, Rob Portman from Ohio, Wicker from Mississippi, Hyde Smith from Mississippi, Roy Blunt from Missouri, Susan Collins from Maine, The Turtle from Kentucky, Moran from Kansas, Blunt from Missouri, Collins from Maine.
00:13:34.000 Okay, yeah, it repeats.
00:13:36.000 So Young from Indiana, Grassley from Iowa, Rubio from Florida, Cotton from Arkansas, Boozman from Arkansas, Tubbard from Alabama, Shelby from Alabama, and Murkowski from Alaska.
00:13:48.000 Their priority is border security.
00:13:51.000 It is very clear.
00:13:53.000 Border security for other countries.
00:13:56.000 Do you know that this bill sends money to secure the border of Jordan, Nepal, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Oman, and Pakistan?
00:14:12.000 It doesn't send money to go to secure our own border, though.
00:14:16.000 No, the Senate Republicans that I mentioned, they are more concerned about making sure that that darn annoying Nepal border is enforced.
00:14:29.000 Yeah, you know, that Tunisian border crisis, really a big concern for Americans.
00:14:34.000 Or how about what's happening in Oman?
00:14:38.000 I will give if more than 10% of Americans could look at a map, an unlabeled map of the Middle East, and get within 100 square miles of guessing where Oman is, I would be very impressed.
00:14:54.000 By the way, it's on the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, east of Yemen.
00:14:57.000 So I do know where Oman is.
00:14:59.000 Most people don't.
00:15:03.000 This is what Republicans prioritize.
00:15:06.000 This is what your voter, what your people that you send to D.C.
00:15:09.000 And honestly, you know, a couple weeks ago after the Herschel Walker campaign failed and people stayed at home, I was very upset and I will remain upset with that.
00:15:17.000 I still think you have to vote, but I get it.
00:15:20.000 Senate Republicans deserve to be in the minority, period.
00:15:24.000 This kind of behavior, I don't want them to be in the minority, but this voting behavior, for example, $6 million for Clemson University is in this bill, $982,000 for motel vouchers in LA, $817,000 for partnerships with justice-involved individuals, $2 million for improving coordination in the New York mayor's office,
00:15:53.000 $8.6 million for the Pentagon to do gender advisor programs, $166 million for neighborhood reinvestment activities, $4 million for shared equity housing models, $900 million for land acquisition and related programs.
00:16:09.000 The EPA gets $10.1 billion, an increase.
00:16:13.000 Republicans are giving the EPA more money.
00:16:16.000 $108 million for environmental justice activities.
00:16:20.000 The FBI is getting a new $375 million headquarters.
00:16:26.000 Oh, that's right.
00:16:27.000 Senate Republicans, after we have now learned the FBI was executing a coup d'état, these Republicans want to give the FBI a new HQ.
00:16:35.000 $3.6 million for the Michelle Obama Trail.
00:16:39.000 $750,000 for Trans Latin Coalition.
00:16:43.000 Oh, and I'm just getting started.
00:16:45.000 Your Republicans hate you.
00:16:50.000 Charlie Kirk here, look, I've told you about producer Andrew and how Relief Factor has really improved his life and relieved the pain in his knees and back.
00:16:57.000 Now let me tell you about Yvonne in California.
00:17:00.000 She says this: quote, both my husband and I are in our 70s and so grateful to have found Relief Factor.
00:17:05.000 We've tried so many other solutions, but none of them have given us the freedom from aches and pains like Relief Factor.
00:17:11.000 I hear Yvonne, Relief Factor works for me too.
00:17:14.000 Relief Factor is a 100% drug-free solution developed by doctors based on scientific research to help your body attack the underlying inflammation causing you pain.
00:17:23.000 Three weeks from now, you could be doing the things you enjoy doing.
00:17:27.000 Your first step to becoming pain-free could be just to order the three-week quick start for only $19.95.
00:17:33.000 After trying Relief Factor, over half a million people have gone on to order more.
00:17:38.000 Go to relieffactor.com or call 8004Relief to find out more about this offer.
00:17:42.000 That's relieffactor.com or call 8004Relief.
00:17:45.000 Live your best life and feel the difference with Relief Factor.
00:17:51.000 Okay, $2.35 million in improvement and maintenance on the Iditarod Trail.
00:17:57.000 That sounds like a handout for Lisa Murkowski.
00:17:59.000 Just a guess.
00:18:02.000 Iditarod's in Alaska, isn't it?
00:18:04.000 Yeah.
00:18:05.000 $1.5 million for the restoration of the Albany, New York City Hall.
00:18:09.000 $400,000 for the Racial Justice Improvement Project.
00:18:13.000 Your Republican senators think we need $400,000 for racial justice improvement.
00:18:17.000 $70 million for minority business development.
00:18:20.000 $286 million in Title 10 funding, which funds Planned Parenthood.
00:18:27.000 Your Republican senators want to make sure you guys, that Planned Parenthood gets more money.
00:18:32.000 Also included on this bill is regulations on cosmetics, changes to horse racing rules.
00:18:38.000 Huh, I wonder what state would be lobbying for horse racing rule changes.
00:18:43.000 Ryan says, California, no.
00:18:46.000 Kentucky, obviously, it's the horse racing capital of America.
00:18:52.000 The Electoral Count Act, all of this.
00:18:54.000 The bill was released around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
00:18:59.000 And to have read this entire bill by now, you would have had to read four pages per minute without a single break for 16 hours straight.
00:19:05.000 Rand Paul shows us the enormity of the bill, play cut 29.
00:19:09.000 When did they know that this would be necessary?
00:19:12.000 Well, it's in the law, September 30th.
00:19:16.000 You got nine months, almost 10 months, to produce a plan.
00:19:20.000 The process stinks.
00:19:22.000 It's an abomination.
00:19:23.000 It's a no-good, rotten way to run your government.
00:19:27.000 $6 trillion entity, and they want 24 hours to process this, and then they want to go forward.
00:19:34.000 The American people don't want this.
00:19:36.000 They're sick and tired of it.
00:19:37.000 They're paying for it through the nose with inflation.
00:19:41.000 Adding a trillion dollars to the deficit will simply fuel the fires that are consuming our wages and consuming our retirement plans.
00:19:49.000 This, this, this is why Republicans did not show up and vote in the Georgia runoff.
00:19:54.000 This is why Republicans did not show up in the midterms.
00:19:57.000 I wish they would have, but they don't make it easy.
00:20:00.000 Welcome to the program, Kurt Schlichter.
00:20:02.000 Kurt, the floor is yours.
00:20:05.000 You know, Charlie, I'm going to try and keep it FCC compliant.
00:20:09.000 Please do, or else I'll send you the invoice.
00:20:12.000 Oh, my gosh.
00:20:14.000 You know, I keep hearing these people babbling about our democracy and how important it is.
00:20:20.000 But is it really a democracy if you don't have a chance to actually work on legislation, to run it through committees, to see what's in it, to vote on it, to move amendments?
00:20:31.000 Or is it just a, you know, practically a dictatorship with this little bow on top that makes you think that you have a voice?
00:20:40.000 I'm tired of it.
00:20:41.000 It needs to stop.
00:20:43.000 And I think what Kevin McCarthy ought to say is, you know, the September 30th deadline is the deadline.
00:20:51.000 This isn't happening again.
00:20:53.000 Get it done by September 30th.
00:20:55.000 There's no extensions, nothing move on.
00:20:59.000 Don't come to me and say, bail me out.
00:21:01.000 It either gets done or we shut everything down, which I would not mind.
00:21:06.000 You know, you look at what happened at Twitter, and it was a bloated, woke, garbage organization.
00:21:14.000 And Elon Musk went in as a businessman, looked around, fired two-thirds of the people.
00:21:19.000 And Twitter works better and is freer than it has been in years.
00:21:24.000 I think the federal government could use the same kind of culling process.
00:21:24.000 Yes.
00:21:29.000 Well, I mean, Kurt, I just read through this list here.
00:21:31.000 Who do these Republicans represent?
00:21:33.000 I mean, $3.6 million for the Michelle Obama trail, $2.3 million to improve the Iditarod trail.
00:21:42.000 By the way, let me just for the record, I'd rather spend money on the Iditarod than send money on Zelensky.
00:21:48.000 Just full disclosure, I think that's actually probably money better spent.
00:21:51.000 Totally wasteful, though.
00:21:52.000 And then you got the uppity foreigner who can't bother to find a suit and tie Zelensky demanding more money.
00:21:59.000 And Republicans want to give him $45 billion more dollars.
00:22:03.000 And the southern border remains wide open.
00:22:06.000 Well, here's the thing, Charlotte.
00:22:08.000 Let's talk about Ukraine because I think that's very important.
00:22:10.000 Now, you understand I'm an actual old Cold Warrior.
00:22:13.000 I was in Germany when the wall fell as part of NATO, part of the United States forces there.
00:22:20.000 For years, all I did was train on how to kill Russians.
00:22:23.000 Okay, so I'm not a Russian pal.
00:22:26.000 I went over to Ukraine four times to train Ukrainian soldiers.
00:22:29.000 There was a Ukrainian Polish battalion with my unit in Kosovo.
00:22:33.000 I respect the Ukrainian people.
00:22:35.000 I like them.
00:22:36.000 It's the most corrupt place I've ever been.
00:22:38.000 I mean, there are Nigerian princes in awe of its corruption.
00:22:44.000 And look, I understand there's a huge history there.
00:22:48.000 I understand everybody's got their arguments.
00:22:50.000 I don't think there's any good reason for Russia to invade with a couple armored corps and kill a bunch of people.
00:22:55.000 And I don't have a problem with the Ukrainians fighting back.
00:22:57.000 And I don't have a problem in theory with Americans supporting them.
00:23:02.000 However, you can't just dump $45 billion into Ukraine.
00:23:07.000 That's crazy.
00:23:09.000 And the idea that AA, like McConnell, says it's a murder to Republicans' number one priority, dude, it's not.
00:23:16.000 It's not even in my top five.
00:23:19.000 I think there's a good argument to be made for supporting Ukrainian resistance to the Russians.
00:23:24.000 No one's making that argument.
00:23:26.000 I'm a war college graduate.
00:23:26.000 Okay.
00:23:28.000 Admittedly, it was the Army War College, the party war college.
00:23:31.000 We could have used a turning points branch there.
00:23:36.000 The thing is, where's our strategic objective?
00:23:38.000 What are we doing?
00:23:40.000 Look, I could be convinced.
00:23:41.000 Again, I'm a guy who grew up learning how to kill Russians.
00:23:44.000 I know how to kill a motor rifle regiment.
00:23:47.000 Most people don't even know what one is.
00:23:48.000 I do.
00:23:50.000 But what we're doing here strikes me as crazy because it violates all the things that we know about foreign policy, about military leadership.
00:24:00.000 What is our goal there?
00:24:01.000 What is the end state we're seeking?
00:24:03.000 Are we just going to have a meat grinder where we feed more bodies into it?
00:24:08.000 Look, I'm not a pacifist.
00:24:10.000 I'm not pro-Russian.
00:24:13.000 I sympathize with the Ukrainian people who are suffering greatly and want to fight for their country.
00:24:17.000 And they do.
00:24:18.000 They're tough, patriotic people.
00:24:20.000 The government's corrupt as hell.
00:24:21.000 And I got no real use for Zelensky.
00:24:25.000 But the idea of just throwing $45 billion on top of all the other billions of dollars we tossed in strikes me as crazy.
00:24:34.000 There's an argument to be made.
00:24:35.000 We're learning a hell of a lot about Russians, a hell of a lot about modern warfare.
00:24:40.000 We're getting benefit out of this if we're smart enough to be, you know, capturing the signal and getting the getting the intelligence and learning from this fight.
00:24:51.000 But it's the idea that we just should shut up and write checks.
00:24:57.000 That's crazy.
00:24:59.000 While our own territorial integrity is being overrun in this bill is border security for Oman, Pakistan, Tunisia, Yemen.
00:25:08.000 I mean, Oman, not Yemen.
00:25:11.000 I'm sorry.
00:25:11.000 Oman.
00:25:12.000 Got to get our leaders.
00:25:14.000 There's a big difference.
00:25:15.000 Yeah, exactly.
00:25:17.000 Our leaders are not appropriating any extra money for border security, and we're being invaded.
00:25:22.000 I understand why people don't show up and vote now, Kurt.
00:25:25.000 I get it.
00:25:26.000 Well, look, when a Republican leader comes out and says, my priority is a fight between two indistinguishable people on another continent.
00:25:35.000 Well, look, you can have more than one priority, but it's not my number one.
00:25:40.000 No, it's not number 100.
00:25:42.000 I mean, how about opioid or mental health problems or depression?
00:25:45.000 Suicide inflation?
00:25:46.000 I mean, come on.
00:25:48.000 The thing is, what gets me is nobody, we're not doing what a democracy does, which is having vigorous arguments about stuff.
00:25:56.000 We didn't have a vigorous argument about the budget.
00:25:58.000 It's just here, sign on to this.
00:26:01.000 It's been out 24 hours.
00:26:03.000 Now you can vote.
00:26:04.000 Here, here's Ukraine.
00:26:05.000 You say anything against it.
00:26:06.000 Suddenly you love Putin.
00:26:08.000 And it's particularly attractive to me to be told I love the Russians by guys who never shivered in a West German foxhole.
00:26:18.000 Okay.
00:26:20.000 I don't need to be, I don't need lessons in pro-America by this crew who are out marching for the KGB-sponsored nuclear freeze in the 80s.
00:26:32.000 And yet here we are.
00:26:33.000 Look, what I'm saying is, I don't think we care.
00:26:38.000 I mean, we care, but I don't think it bothers us if we have an argument and we lose it.
00:26:44.000 There, we have a big debate and the people decide, well, we're going to go a different way than maybe Kurt and Charlie want to go.
00:26:50.000 Okay, we've been heard.
00:26:51.000 We've been talked about.
00:26:53.000 People have listened to us.
00:26:54.000 They've made a decision we didn't like.
00:26:56.000 You know, better luck next time.
00:26:58.000 We'll fight harder next time.
00:26:59.000 But that's not what's happening.
00:27:00.000 No, it's pure force.
00:27:01.000 It's just force.
00:27:03.000 And they don't care.
00:27:04.000 And I mean, I read this list here, Kurt.
00:27:06.000 It's so grotesque.
00:27:07.000 It is just so.
00:27:10.000 I mean, one after the other, EPA gets $10 billion more dollars.
00:27:13.000 I mean, it's just, I mean, how about this?
00:27:15.000 The Pentagon gets $8.6 billion for a gender advisor program.
00:27:20.000 I'm sure that's super popular.
00:27:24.000 There are two men and women.
00:27:26.000 Where's my check?
00:27:26.000 We're done.
00:27:27.000 $8.6 million for a gender advisor program.
00:27:31.000 I'm sure the people of South Dakota are going to be thrilled that John Thune and Senator Rounds are giving $8.6 million for a gender advisor program.
00:27:40.000 I don't understand why any Republican is voting for a penny for the Pentagon until Rich Alconis, the lieutenant unjustly imprisoned in Japan, gets his pay restored so his family doesn't starve.
00:27:55.000 Okay, we leave him hanging out there.
00:27:57.000 We bring Brittany Griner back.
00:27:59.000 Okay, she hates America.
00:28:00.000 She's a dope smoking weirdo.
00:28:03.000 But, you know, we've got an American service member over there unjustly in prison.
00:28:08.000 The Americans can't manage to get him out.
00:28:10.000 You know, when I was a major, I was telling Japanese generals what to do.
00:28:14.000 Okay.
00:28:15.000 They're very deferential, and we can't even push them to let this guy out.
00:28:19.000 Obviously, we need to account for the accident that he was involved in and apologize and pay money.
00:28:28.000 But you get our guy out, but you don't leave him in jail and then let his family starve.
00:28:32.000 What the hell is that?
00:28:35.000 If I was a senator, not one, I would object to every damn thing until he got his money.
00:28:41.000 Every, I don't care.
00:28:42.000 I will read the whole bill.
00:28:47.000 It is Christmas week.
00:28:49.000 I want to tell you guys about a way that you can help save a baby's life for just $28 this Christmas season.
00:28:57.000 It is true.
00:28:58.000 Pre-born is one of my favorite organizations.
00:29:00.000 That's why we're partnering with them this Christmas season on charliekirk.com.
00:29:04.000 There's a banner.
00:29:05.000 We know that pregnant girls and women who see their babies on ultrasound are far more likely to choose life.
00:29:12.000 Your gift today can save a baby's life.
00:29:14.000 Just $28 can give a mother who is abortion-minded the chance to see the truth of the baby that is growing inside her.
00:29:21.000 $140 can do this for five girls and women.
00:29:24.000 And a $15,000 gift will provide an ultrasound machine that will save lives for years to come.
00:29:31.000 You just go to charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner this Christmas season.
00:29:35.000 We are just days away from Christmas, one of the holiest days of the Christian calendar, one of my favorite days.
00:29:41.000 I love this week.
00:29:43.000 And usually this week's a very slow news week.
00:29:45.000 This is the exception.
00:29:46.000 We got Trump tax returns.
00:29:48.000 We got Omnibus.
00:29:49.000 We got Cary Lake stuff.
00:29:51.000 We got, it's really all over the place.
00:29:53.000 We just finished Amfest.
00:29:55.000 So in this chaotic time, make a commitment to save a baby's life.
00:29:59.000 If you are pro-life, then my opinion is that part of your giving budget should be directly to help save babies' lives.
00:30:10.000 That is charliekirk.com.
00:30:12.000 Click on the pre-born banner.
00:30:14.000 No better time to save a baby's life than right now.
00:30:17.000 Your gift is matched dollar for dollar, doubling your impact.
00:30:20.000 Erica and I are giving money to pre-born.
00:30:22.000 I think you guys should as well.
00:30:23.000 CharlieKirk.com, click on the pre-born banner.
00:30:26.000 We have to be pro-life in every possible way, not just argue for pro-life politics, but go to charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner.
00:30:35.000 Portions of this Charlie Kirk show are brought to you by Pre-Born.
00:30:39.000 Again, CharlieKirk.com.
00:30:41.000 Super simple.
00:30:42.000 Click on that banner.
00:30:43.000 Give back this Christmas season.
00:30:47.000 Kurt, people are fired up.
00:30:49.000 And so do you think we should require this bill to be read word for word?
00:30:54.000 What would it take to get that done?
00:30:56.000 Well, I'm not sure.
00:30:58.000 Look, I am not an arcane Senate procedure MABI.
00:31:04.000 Parliamentarian.
00:31:06.000 Exactly.
00:31:06.000 Like a turtle.
00:31:09.000 Mitch McConnell used to be, and he used to do it very effectively.
00:31:12.000 I don't know.
00:31:12.000 He's lost a few steps in the last year.
00:31:14.000 Let me tell you.
00:31:16.000 But there are a lot of ways for a single senator to slow things down.
00:31:23.000 And this, you know, Charlie, this has to stop.
00:31:29.000 This is intentional.
00:31:31.000 This last minute here, we're going to drop this giant, you know, thing, again, trying to remain FCC compliant on your desks and demand you vote on it immediately.
00:31:43.000 And that's just not the way our government should work.
00:31:46.000 And that shouldn't be a partisan issue.
00:31:50.000 Everybody should want the debates, but they don't.
00:31:54.000 Look, they want to force this bill through with minimal debate because as soon as you start shining a light on it, you know, the cockroaches start scurrying.
00:32:02.000 The Michelle Obama trail gender advisors in the Pentagon, they just want to get it done.
00:32:09.000 They want to get home for Christmas.
00:32:10.000 Well, then we should ruin their country.
00:32:11.000 But they also want their earmarks.
00:32:12.000 No, but they're ruining the country.
00:32:14.000 We should ruin their Christmas.
00:32:15.000 I just texted Senator Mike Lee and Senator Josh Hawley, and I asked them, I don't know, I'm not a Senate parliamentarian guy, what is it going to take to get this bill read word for word on the Senate floor, of which will take three days.
00:32:27.000 I mean, just to minimum.
00:32:29.000 So read the whole bill.
00:32:31.000 Read the whole thing word for word on the Senate floor.
00:32:34.000 You guys are going to have to adjourn because you're going to want to go home for Christmas and the bill will not be passed.
00:32:40.000 What is the argument against that?
00:32:41.000 By the way, I'm waiting for a text response.
00:32:44.000 Kurt, that's basically the only thing we have left, right?
00:32:46.000 It's just the way to stop the bill is to read the bill.
00:32:50.000 Well, exactly.
00:32:52.000 One of the problems that we're facing now is the chaos in the House.
00:32:57.000 We haven't selected a speaker yet.
00:32:59.000 And look, I've got my issues with Kevin McCarthy, but it looks like he's going to win it.
00:33:04.000 I think our guys need to make a deal.
00:33:06.000 The guys who are opposing him and him and his guys, they need to come together, make a deal so they have a unified front so that the senators who are wondering, are we going to be able to get something done in January, understand that there's people in charge in the House?
00:33:24.000 So that's another issue.
00:33:26.000 I think some of the, look, some of the senators are soft.
00:33:29.000 Some of them are glorified Democrats.
00:33:32.000 Some of them are concerned that the Republicans in the House won't be able to get together to do the thing that needs to be done in January.
00:33:40.000 So I think that's a big consideration, too.
00:33:42.000 Well, I mean, but that's not a reason to go punt it all the way to September.
00:33:46.000 This bill is awful.
00:33:47.000 No, no, it is.
00:33:48.000 This bill is terrible.
00:33:49.000 I mean, it's horrible.
00:33:50.000 And so just say, no, we're not doing this.
00:33:52.000 Have a nice Christmas.
00:33:53.000 The government's shutting down, whatever.
00:33:54.000 By the way, when the government shuts down, nothing actually shuts down.
00:33:57.000 Okay.
00:33:58.000 Of course not.
00:33:59.000 And I'm all for a government shutdown because it illustrates how useless most of the government is.
00:34:05.000 And I'm hoping whoever is the next Republican president goes in and takes a machete to the personnel roles and slices them.
00:34:15.000 And then, you know, our lives will not.
00:34:17.000 Look, is your life going to be any worse if there's no Michelle Obama hiking trail?
00:34:23.000 I mean, it's not.
00:34:25.000 But my life is a lot worse when I'm paying a huge chunk of my income that could be going to supporting my family, you know, to nonsense like I did a rod.
00:34:36.000 Trail improvements.
00:34:37.000 What is this trail fascination with these people?
00:34:41.000 There might be a lot of money laundering on trails.
00:34:43.000 Let's play cut 21.
00:34:44.000 Hey, the turtle and Chuck U. Schumer says this bill is bold.
00:34:47.000 Play cut 21.
00:34:49.000 From top to bottom, this omnibus is bold, generous, far-reaching, and ambitious.
00:34:55.000 We were able to achieve through this omnibus spending bill essentially all of our priorities.
00:35:03.000 This is no favorite of the House.
00:35:06.000 If we kick this to another year.
00:35:08.000 I brought with me the OMD.
00:35:10.000 4,155 pages.
00:35:14.000 When was it produced?
00:35:16.000 In the dead of the night.
00:35:17.000 It's an abomination.
00:35:18.000 It's a no-good, rotten way to run your government.
00:35:21.000 It's bold the way that defecating on a street corner in San Francisco is bold, Kurt.
00:35:27.000 Oh my gosh, bold.
00:35:29.000 That's that again.
00:35:31.000 I, you know, I keep bumping up against this FCC compliance wall.
00:35:35.000 Bold is not the word I would use.
00:35:38.000 Shameful, corrupt, obnoxious.
00:35:42.000 These are words that come to mind.
00:35:43.000 Protestant.
00:35:44.000 Because look, look, I served this country for 27 years.
00:35:49.000 I want to say in how it's run.
00:35:51.000 And I don't think it's too much to expect that the people we send to Washington sit out there and argue about the stuff.
00:35:59.000 I want somebody on the Senate floor saying, hey, maybe we shouldn't be funding the Iditarod Trail.
00:36:03.000 Hey, I like sled dogs as much as anybody else.
00:36:06.000 But, you know, there's, you know, there are other priorities like, oh, I don't know, securing our border, which apparently this bill makes it illegal to do.
00:36:17.000 You know, it's mind-boggling.
00:36:18.000 And you've got so many Republicans who have this normalcy bias.
00:36:22.000 They have this bias where they try to believe that things are quote unquote normal and that we're all working together for a better tomorrow, but we're not.
00:36:32.000 And they need to stop that.
00:36:34.000 They need to get woke.
00:36:35.000 They need to figure out what time it is.
00:36:37.000 It's not going to be easy, but there will be a promise.
00:36:39.000 Every single one of these people that vote for this bill, you might survive it, but we will primary you.
00:36:44.000 We will go there.
00:36:45.000 We will do events.
00:36:47.000 You might be able to survive it, but we will not make your life easy.
00:36:50.000 Kurt, thank you so much.
