00:00:00.000 Okay, everybody, it's in the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:00:01.000 J.D. Vance gives an amazing speech about what is happening in Germany and the geopolitical implications of such.
00:00:07.000 We break down why Maine still has men winning awards and medals, a shocking story, what we can do to end the lawfare, and a very weak summit from the disinvited crew of the people that used to be involved in the Republican Party.
00:00:22.000 And finally...
00:00:23.000 Why is Senator Tom Cotton stopping some of President Trump's nominees?
00:00:28.000 We explore.

00:00:38.000 That is members.charliekirk.com.

00:00:49.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:50.000 Here we go.
00:00:51.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:53.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:55.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:58.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:01.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:03.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:04.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:01:05.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:21.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:22.000 We are here in Tampa, Florida.
00:01:51.000 I just want to say I've always liked Tampa.
00:01:53.000 It's an orderly city.
00:01:54.000 It's a beautiful spot.
00:01:55.000 We are doing our summer student event again in Tampa, Florida in July.
00:02:00.000 Momentarily, after the conclusion of our time together today, I will be getting into a car and going to the University of South Florida for the kickoff of the American Comeback Tour.
00:02:13.000 We mention frequently here on this program how Donald Trump has remade the Republican Party.
00:02:19.000 How Donald Trump has kicked some of the...
00:02:22.000 Rough edges of the Republican Party out.
00:02:26.000 And this is more clear than ever, given President Trump's approach to foreign policy.
00:02:33.000 Unafraid to call Zelensky a dictator, which of course he is, saying that I'm going to go visit Russia and Putin should go visit America.
00:02:40.000 We're going to go broker peace.
00:02:42.000 And as we are continuing the great revealing, which is what we are living through, the great revealing, it's more and more clear.
00:02:52.000 How not just ideologically weak, but also unimpressive the previous ruling class of the conservative movement was.
00:03:02.000 This weekend, of course, is CPAC and everything happening there.
00:03:08.000 But also, there is this other event that is very important to emphasize.
00:03:16.000 It goes to show what used to be within our ranks.
00:03:19.000 In fact, included in this event, the principal's first summit, are people that used to be in Trump 1, the first Trump administration.
00:03:31.000 So it's this weekend.
00:03:33.000 It's the principal's first summit.
00:03:35.000 Of course, they're doing it in Washington, D.C., the only place they could draw a crowd.
00:03:39.000 And it is a very treacherous group of characters that are gathering.
00:03:46.000 Some of whom I don't even know who they are, but let's just emphasize a couple.
00:03:49.000 John Bolton.
00:03:51.000 John Bolton was the national security advisor for President Trump in the first administration.
00:03:55.000 One of them.
00:03:56.000 Alyssa Farah.
00:03:57.000 Alyssa Farah worked for Mike Pence and was a top-level communications director for President Trump and his administration in the first term.
00:04:08.000 You got Stephen Richer, who we helped get rid of, by the way, in Maricopa County as Maricopa County recorder.
00:04:15.000 You have Harry Dunn, who was one of the January 6th police officers, I believe.
00:04:22.000 Mark Cuban, Jared Polis, Chris Christie.
00:04:25.000 Remember when Chris Christie used to be...
00:04:26.000 I was going to say running around, but that wouldn't be fair.
00:04:31.000 I was going to say he used to be running around all of our circles.
00:04:36.000 I'd say he was...
00:04:37.000 What's the better word?
00:04:40.000 Shaking around?
00:04:41.000 Something like that.
00:04:42.000 That's a bad visual.
00:04:44.000 We've got George Conway.
00:04:46.000 Goodness gracious.
00:04:47.000 Adam Kinzinger.
00:04:48.000 This here is the roster of the individuals that have been extracized out of the Republican Party.
00:04:58.000 Their top speaker, being a likely Democrat candidate in 2028, says a lot.
00:05:07.000 What do these people believe?
00:05:09.000 Now they're gathering, you can call them...
00:05:11.000 Rhinos and all that.
00:05:12.000 But it's much more interesting than that.
00:05:16.000 The one thing that unites every single one of these people, actually two things, is their belief in neoconservative foreign policy, number one.
00:05:26.000 And number two is their admiration of the security state.
00:05:31.000 The unquestioning gospel that is delivered from the Central Intelligence Agency.
00:05:37.000 From our intel agencies.
00:05:40.000 You have Asa Hutchinson, who was defending kids being chemically castrated.
00:05:46.000 This here should give you such comfort of what Donald Trump has kicked out of our party and what you have kicked out of our party.
00:05:54.000 Michael Steele, who used to be the chairman of the Republican Party in a time long gone.
00:06:01.000 Jeff Duncan, who is or was the lieutenant governor of Georgia.
00:06:07.000 And what they represent is a statist wing of the now changed Republican Party.
00:06:13.000 And they know there's no place for them in this Republican Party.
00:06:15.000 They know that.
00:06:18.000 They hate Doge because it might actually challenge the money train that they have benefited for quite some time.
00:06:24.000 They don't want an open border.
00:06:27.000 And this is an extension of the damage that the Bush Junta did to this country.
00:06:36.000 And they should try to do this conference in any other city.
00:06:39.000 Try to do this conference in Scottsdale or in Miami.
00:06:43.000 You could only do this in Washington, D.C. It's the only constituency in the country that would dare even entertain this nonsense.
00:06:54.000 But it's a very, very important point.
00:06:57.000 Because as we look at this roster, as you put it up on screen, understand there are still elements of the Republican Party that...
00:07:05.000 Are currently in office that agree with all these people, but they're sleeper cells within our ranks.
00:07:10.000 Now, of course, we love disagreement.
00:07:13.000 That's never been the issue.
00:07:15.000 If you want to be Susan Collins and you want to disagree with us publicly, let's have at it.
00:07:20.000 Let's lay it down.
00:07:21.000 I'll respect you.
00:07:21.000 That is not the issue.
00:07:24.000 The issue is people who lie and say that they are from deep red states, when in reality, they're not.
00:07:33.000 They say that they are Trump faithful.
00:07:34.000 They say they are loyal to the agenda.
00:07:38.000 You go look at their website.
00:07:39.000 There's a lot of U.S. senators that agree with this nonsense.
00:07:44.000 It's such a time warp back to 2012. You read this.
00:07:49.000 A lot of these are just abstractions as you go through this.
00:07:54.000 The most important question, though, is what do they believe is the role of American foreign policy?
00:08:00.000 Every single person at this event supports sending more money to Ukraine.
00:08:05.000 Every single person of this now dead Republican Party believes that deportations are cruel and unusual.
00:08:13.000 And now you compare it with the current leadership structure.
00:08:17.000 And it's not even that the list is that bad of the principles on their website.
00:08:22.000 I mean, you know, we believe in the Constitution.
00:08:24.000 Of course we believe in all that.
00:08:25.000 But it's so obvious why they're holding a lame rebel conference instead of hosting the president.
00:08:30.000 They're lame and they're weak.
00:08:33.000 Hexeth just announced an 8% annual cut at the Department of Defense.
00:08:37.000 But let me reiterate, there are so many people in the Republican Party, in the U.S. Senate, that hold these neoconservative, neoliberal views.
00:08:47.000 And just so we are clear, what is a neoconservative?
00:08:49.000 A neoconservative is a modern-day empire builder.
00:08:53.000 They want to invade the world and invite the world.
00:08:56.000 Neoconservatism is an outgrowth of Marxist ideology.
00:08:59.000 It is statism at its core.
00:09:02.000 That we can go bring the American foreign policy machine to a country near you and bring democracy to Baghdad or bring democracy to Kabul.
00:09:13.000 The project of Karl Rove, the project of George W. Bush.
00:09:17.000 It really comes all down to Bush, really.
00:09:21.000 There was a president.
00:09:23.000 Who said all the superficial stuff that all of these other guys say, but was an inept ideological and practical failure.
00:09:32.000 And the metamorphosis is continuing.
00:09:35.000 But the point I want to reiterate to all of you is that there are still a lot of senators right now that talk a good game when it comes to President Trump, and they're not always there.
00:09:41.000 Some that really might surprise you.
00:09:43.000 And there's been some that have stepped up to the plate and have done a great job.
00:09:48.000 But there's other senators that there's some questions.
00:09:51.000 One in particular that is finally meeting with one of Trump's nominees, and I'm glad to hear it, but it's been a slow walk towards it.
00:10:00.000 And he definitely comes from the foreign policy camp of Bill Kristol, from George W. Bush, from Dick Cheney.
00:10:08.000 For those of you in Arkansas, I just want to ask the question, what's going on there?

00:11:42.000 Okay, so Vice President J.D. Vance has a very good friend.
00:11:47.000 His name is Elbridge Colby.
00:11:48.000 I've got to know Elbridge.
00:11:50.000 Extremely thoughtful man who is against the Bush-Junta philosophy, as we have seen articulated in the previous segment about this ridiculous gathering that they're doing.
00:12:03.000 Elbridge Colby has been nominated by the president because he earned it to be basically a third in line at the Department of Defense.
00:12:11.000 It's called the Undersecretary for Policy.
00:12:14.000 Very, very important job.
00:12:16.000 Extremely important job.
00:12:17.000 So Elbridge Colby is not that controversial.
00:12:20.000 In fact, he's incredibly qualified.
00:12:21.000 You can listen to his conversation with Tucker Carlson.
00:12:24.000 He's thoughtful.
00:12:25.000 He understands the issues.
00:12:27.000 He is as good as it gets.
00:12:30.000 And he has written the premier book on the rise of the Chinese Communist Party, on the looming danger, the clear and present danger of the CCP. And for whatever reason, we haven't been able to get a good answer.
00:12:47.000 His nomination has been stalled and is being opposed by Senator Tom Cotton.
00:12:55.000 Now, thankfully, we're moving in the right direction here.
00:12:58.000 Senator Tom Cotton, I've known him for quite a while.
00:13:01.000 I have nothing personal against him.
00:13:03.000 I don't.
00:13:04.000 I think he's phenomenal on immigration.
00:13:06.000 I think he's great on crime.
00:13:09.000 He's the one that was encouraging the president to invoke the Insurrection Act during all of the Floydapalooza stuff.
00:13:18.000 So he's great on a lot of issues.
00:13:20.000 On foreign policy, we are on completely different planets.
00:13:23.000 I've said that before on this program.
00:13:25.000 Tom Cotton's foreign policy views are indecipherable from that of Dick Cheney and Bill Kristol.
00:13:32.000 And you don't have to take my word for it.
00:13:33.000 You can go look at the information and see what he says.
00:13:36.000 His criticism when it comes to Ukraine is that Joe Biden did not do enough.
00:13:42.000 He said we did not send enough money.
00:13:44.000 We did not send enough weapons.
00:13:46.000 That was his criticism on Ukraine.
00:13:48.000 You can look it up.
00:13:49.000 Please find the tweet, guys.
00:13:51.000 I can read it on air.
00:13:52.000 And so what's really going on here with the Elbridge-Colby-Tom Cotton collision is that it's a philosophical and a worldview schism that is unfolding.
00:14:03.000 I've now sent out two tweets, they've been seen millions of times, about 7 or 8 million times, asking the question, why Senator Tom Cotton is getting in Elbridge-Colby's way?
00:14:14.000 To become third in line, it's one of Trump's picks.
00:14:17.000 We don't know the answer to that question.
00:14:20.000 It's probably because Senator Tom Cotton is getting a little worried that the Bill Kristol, George W. Bush, foreign policy regime is coming to an end.
00:14:33.000 It is sunsetting.
00:14:34.000 Now, of course, every senator is able to ask robust questions, to get assurances.
00:14:39.000 All of that is fine.
00:14:40.000 But it goes beyond that.
00:14:42.000 Senator Cotton has called the president directly, trying to undermine Elbridge Colby's nomination.
00:14:49.000 Senator Tom Cotton has been trying everything he possibly can to derail this and saying, oh, I'm actually not trying to derail it.
00:14:56.000 A lot of this is behind-the-scenes stuff that is now, of course, publicly reported.
00:14:59.000 I'm happy to say, though, that Elbridge Colby is now meeting with Senator Tom Cotton.
00:15:05.000 And hopefully that will proceed.
00:15:07.000 But I would love for those of you in the great state of Arkansas to chime in and to give your opinions or anyone.
00:15:14.000 How would you feel?
00:15:16.000 If Senator Cotton or other senators like him decide to vote against President Trump's nominees.
00:15:22.000 It's not enough just to do Bobby Kennedy and cash.
00:15:24.000 All that is great, Tulsi Gabbard.
00:15:26.000 But now we are talking about the inner workings of these departments.
00:15:30.000 And Elbridge's book, which you guys should all check out, The Strategy of Denial, American Defense in an Age of Great Power Conflict, is one of the most thoughtful pieces of work.
00:15:42.000 He is resolutely pro-Israel.
00:15:45.000 Obviously America first.
00:15:46.000 And the criticism that they have against Elbridge Colby is that Elbridge basically has written that he does not want to go to war against Iran.
00:15:55.000 That's it.
00:15:55.000 That is their criticism.
00:15:57.000 He has been very clear that we should not get into a kinetic bombing campaign, a ground war against Iran.
00:16:05.000 And for that, it has resulted in a tension point.
00:16:13.000 And you're seeing the ideological rift unfold, and I have been helping lead the X and the Twitter chatter here.
00:16:21.000 Again, I hope Senator Cotton does the right thing.
00:16:23.000 This is not against him personally, but I can tell you if he does oppose some of these nominees, that the grassroots of Arkansas are not going to like that.
00:16:30.000 They're not going to like the fact that President Trump won a declarative mandate election, and he's not able to get his cabinet positions in, and his sub-cabinet positions in, deputies, third in control, fourth in control.
00:16:43.000 We have one tweet from Senator Cotton about Ukraine.
00:16:46.000 No timidity in half measures.
00:16:48.000 Time to send Ukraine the weapons needed to end this invasion.
00:16:50.000 Well, we did send the weapons.
00:16:51.000 Did the invasion end?
00:16:52.000 Of course not.
00:16:53.000 So Senator Cotton, hope you'll do the right thing.
00:16:55.000 I know you're meeting with Bridge.
00:16:56.000 Get behind this nomination.
00:16:57.000 Do so publicly or vocally or else the grassroots won't be happy.
00:17:01.000 with president trump making massive strides in his first month in office alone to deliver on campaign promises to make america great again it's clear his administration is committed to driving down costs and unleashing prosperity across our country but big pharma is standing in the way they've raised prices on over 575 brand name drugs in january alone blocked competition and spent millions pushing overpriced meds on hard-working americans now they're pressuring congress
00:17:30.000 To implement mandates that will undermine the one real check against drug companies and ban the very market-based incentives that help employers and families save on prescriptions and healthcare costs.
00:17:41.000 Even worse, Big Pharma wants to strip American employers of the freedom to choose health benefits that work best for them.
00:17:48.000 Their proposals could hand Big Pharma a $32 billion money grab at the expense of American employers and families.
00:17:55.000 Conservatives for lower health care costs warns that Big Pharma isn't on our side.
00:17:59.000 They fought against solutions to lower drug prices during Trump's first term, opposed Bobby Kennedy's nomination to HHS to make America healthy again, and now they want even more government control over the private health care market, interfering with President Trump's promise to cut prescription drug costs.
00:18:14.000 Big Pharma is no friend of the American people.
00:18:16.000 Go to pharmawindfall.com to demand fair health care practices, protect the private market and fight big pharma's greed.
00:18:23.000 Congress can put a stop to this.
00:18:24.000 You can make a difference.
00:18:25.000 Let's fight back.
00:18:26.000 Visit pharmawindfall.com.
00:18:28.000 So President Donald Trump signed an executive order saying that men will not compete in female sports, but states are just ignoring it.
00:18:37.000 And it's time for the Department of Justice and for the Department of Education to start to enforce this.
00:18:42.000 It's a tragic story out of the state of Maine.
00:18:45.000 Joining us now is State Rep Laurel Libby, a state representative from District 90, and also Zoe Hutchins from Maine High School Track and Field with a remarkable story here.
00:18:57.000 Welcome to both of you.
00:18:59.000 Zoe, why don't you introduce yourself and tell us the story of what has recently happened to you?
00:19:04.000 Sure.
00:19:05.000 So I am a senior at Lawrence High School in Maine.
00:19:09.000 I compete in the shot put.
00:19:11.000 An indoor track.
00:19:13.000 This week on Monday, we just had the Class B state championship meet.
00:19:18.000 And at the beginning of the meet, one of my teammates came over to me and she told me that she and the other girl pole vaulters were going to have to compete against a biological male.
00:19:29.000 And understandably, she was very upset about this and very distraught and discouraged because she knew and the other girls knew that They wouldn't be able to beat this male.
00:19:42.000 And that because he decided to compete in the girls' category, they would automatically be knocked down a spot in the state rankings and he would win the gold.
00:19:56.000 So she was very upset about that, understandably.
00:19:59.000 And I was very upset about that because no girl should be put in that situation and no male athlete should have the opportunity.
00:20:09.000 To step in and compete against women and take away their opportunity to be successful and to win and to have the honor of winning a gold and winning the state championship.
00:20:21.000 So that inspired me to respond to Representative Libby's post on Facebook and just stand up for my teammate and for the other pole vaulters and any other female athlete who ever has to face competing against a male.
00:20:41.000 And so that's my story this week.
00:20:43.000 A terrible story.
00:20:45.000 I have so many questions, but first I want to get State Representative Libby on this.
00:20:49.000 Representative Libby, tell us from your perspective what's going on here.
00:20:53.000 Absolutely.
00:20:54.000 So we all know that several weeks ago President Trump issued his executive order demanding that states not allow biological males to participate in We are going to continue to allow biological males to participate in girls' sports.
00:21:20.000 And we knew it was only a matter of time before that actually happened after that.
00:21:25.000 And that was this Monday, this biological male.
00:21:29.000 A boy participated in the pole vaulting at the state championships and won and captured the podium that so many Maine girls have been working so hard to compete in.
00:21:42.000 It just is tragic for them.
00:21:44.000 And it's not fair.
00:21:46.000 It's not fair for Maine girls who've been working so hard to have their chance taken away.
00:21:52.000 So I want to now go back to Zoe here.
00:21:54.000 So, Zoe, I'm sure there's a fair amount of outrage locally about this, but probably quiet.
00:22:00.000 Are people starting to speak up about this?
00:22:02.000 And just so everyone is clear, the vault that won the female competition would have been 10th in the men's, just so we are clear.
00:22:09.000 So the one that won the one for women's would have been 10th in men's.
00:22:14.000 Tell us about the energy on the ground.
00:22:18.000 Are parents upset or are most people saying this is what progress looks like?
00:22:22.000 Yeah.
00:22:22.000 So, I really didn't hear much from the rest of my team other than that one girl who was directly affected and her two pole vaulting coaches.
00:22:35.000 They were very upset and agreed that this should never happen.
00:22:39.000 As far as the surrounding community, overwhelmingly I have been seeing and hearing support for our side and say that no, this should never happen.
00:22:51.000 And of course there are Some outliers and in the minority that are standing up for John or Katie and are congratulating him on beating these girls.
00:23:03.000 But from what I've seen and from what I've heard and experienced, by and large, I'm experiencing support for my stance.
00:23:12.000 I mean, the side-by-side is remarkable here.
00:23:15.000 And so, Representative Libby.
00:23:18.000 President Trump has said that he might withhold federal money to Maine if this nonsense happens.
00:23:24.000 Are any of your Democrat colleagues or any of, is the governor, anybody worried that this might interrupt federal payments to Maine if they allow this to continue?
00:23:34.000 I have not heard that concern from the Democrat leadership.
00:23:38.000 And let's be honest, we have a Democrat majority in the House, the Senate, and a Democrat governor.
00:23:45.000 I think it's going to come down to that, that President Trump's administration is going to have to take action.
00:23:52.000 And withhold resources, financial resources, in order to ensure that girls in Maine have a fair playing field.
00:23:59.000 And it's too bad that it has to come to that, that it would have to come to federal action.
00:24:04.000 But I think that's the only thing that will get us resolution here.
00:24:09.000 The Maine Principals Association and Democrat leadership are pretty dug in on their position on this, and it's going to take intervention.
00:24:17.000 I would hope so.
00:24:19.000 What part of Maine?
00:24:21.000 Is this near Portland or Augusta or Bangor?
00:24:23.000 What part of Maine is this happening in?
00:24:25.000 This was a state championship.
00:24:27.000 So this was the Class B championship for indoor track.
00:24:33.000 And so this is statewide.
00:24:36.000 Zoe can correct me if that's incorrect, but this is a statewide competition.
00:24:41.000 These athletes that score the highest will now go on to regional competition outside of Maine.
00:24:48.000 And so this...
00:24:49.000 Athlete, the biological male who participated and won the girls' gold medal will go on to participate in the regional meets coming up, taking, again, taking the spot of biological girls, females who've worked so hard but have been denied that first place standing because of this boy taking their place.
00:25:15.000 In closing here, and Zoe, thank you for your willingness to speak out about this.
00:25:23.000 Your teammates, what are the teammates saying about this and others that have seen this kind of injustice?
00:25:30.000 Are they hoping that parents will start to step up and defend biological reality?
00:25:36.000 Yeah, so I think that for the most part, none of them have thought about this yet.
00:25:42.000 Because it hasn't...
00:25:43.000 Really directly affected any of us until this week.
00:25:47.000 And so I don't really think that most of them are really paying attention or looking when it didn't directly affect them.
00:25:56.000 And on my team, at least, it doesn't seem like there's a lot of ready action to step in and make a change other than my teammate who was directly affected and had to compete against him, which is...
00:26:11.000 A big reason why I wanted to do this and speak out against this because it is a huge issue and if we don't stand up and speak out now then it's going to continue happening and getting worse and it's going to be more widespread and I don't want any more girls to be affected by this.
00:26:27.000 So I want to encourage any other athletes and especially female athletes.
00:26:34.000 To stand up and speak out against this and speak up for truth.
00:26:38.000 We have to speak up for just the biological reality and truth that males have huge advantages over women and that we need our separate spaces from them to be able to have the chance to succeed and win.
00:26:53.000 Because if we give them an inch, they'll take a mile.
00:26:58.000 If we continue allowing them to step in, then women will no longer have their own separate spaces, and that's just not okay, and that's not something that I'm willing to let happen.
00:27:06.000 Well, thank you for your courage.
00:27:08.000 I just wish more adults in the room would agree, but the current set of circumstances in Maine, as you well know, is that creepy men should be able to terrorize women at their choosing.
00:27:18.000 So thank you both so much, and we'll be watching this story very closely.
00:27:22.000 Thank you.
00:27:22.000 Look, this is not going away, everybody.
00:27:24.000 It's time for President Trump to enforce the executive order that he signed.
00:27:28.000 And whether it's the Department of Justice, Department of Education, money has to stop flowing to states that are doing this.
00:27:33.000 This is not just about signing executive orders.
00:27:35.000 This is why we need the deputies.
00:27:36.000 This goes back to the whole Senator Tom Cotton conversation.
00:27:39.000 That's why we need the deputy-level positions.
00:27:42.000 We have biological men that are still winning awards, and there has to be a collision point on this.
00:27:48.000 And President Trump has done the courageous and the correct thing.
00:27:51.000 He has done his job.
00:27:53.000 Now it's time for us to enforce it and withhold funding.
00:27:56.000 And look, we've got to start to turn up the temperature.
00:27:59.000 You can start with funding about things that Maine may or may not care about.
00:28:02.000 But will Maine really go to the mat on this if all of a sudden Medicaid funding is potentially put in jeopardy?
00:28:09.000 I know that might sound a little extreme, but at what point are we going to say biological reality is going to triumph?
00:28:16.000 The current set of circumstances right now is that your emotions, not any evidence, allows you to win whatever championship you want.
00:28:25.000 I feel like a woman.
00:28:26.000 I could be a woman.
00:28:27.000 It's the song I feel like a woman is the entire trans movement.
00:28:31.000 It's time for us to be actively intolerant of men masquerading as women and winning championships.
00:28:38.000 And understand, that is only one manifestation of the trans extremism.
00:28:41.000 It's the one that obviously wins the most people over.
00:28:44.000 But it's happening.
00:28:45.000 Do you know that it has happened well over 900 times according to a UN report?
00:28:49.000 Over 900 times in 29 different sports, men...
00:28:53.000 Pretending to be women have won championships and medals all across the world.
00:28:59.000 900 times.
00:29:00.000 We're told all it doesn't happen.
00:29:02.000 It happens a lot.
00:29:03.000 900 times.
00:29:05.000 Look, it's time for us to start to lay it down.
00:29:08.000 President Trump did the right thing and signed the executive order.
00:29:11.000 Workers of the federal government now have to start to enforce it.
00:29:16.000 You have biological men that are still stealing medals from women.
00:29:20.000 We're going to say no more.
00:29:24.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:29:26.000 Brand new year, brand new opportunities to change the world for the better.

00:30:22.000 charliekirk.com pre-born banner.
00:30:26.000 There's so much news happening right now that we have to try to organize it in a way.
00:30:33.000 Story selection is paramount.
00:30:36.000 Truly.
00:30:37.000 I want to play more from the Hannity Elon interview with Donald Trump.
00:30:42.000 I think it's very important.
00:30:43.000 We've covered this previously.
00:30:46.000 Let's go to this one here.
00:30:47.000 Let's go to cut 132. You know, I've known him for 30 years.
00:30:50.000 Yeah.
00:30:51.000 And I've never seen anybody take as much as he's taken.
00:30:55.000 Yeah.
00:30:56.000 And we've discussed this, and I'm like, how do you deal with it?
00:30:58.000 Did I have a choice?
00:31:00.000 Well, you would say that to me.
00:31:01.000 I'm like, what am I going to do?
00:31:03.000 Worry about it?
00:31:04.000 And then culminating in two assassination attempts, which resulted in your endorsement.
00:31:09.000 Well, I was going to do it anyway, but that was a precipitating event.
00:31:12.000 That speeded it up a little bit?
00:31:14.000 Yeah.
00:31:14.000 The day of the assassination.
00:31:16.000 I didn't know that.
00:31:16.000 Yeah.
00:31:17.000 I just sped it up, but I was going to do it anyway.
00:31:20.000 For as long as we've been doing this show, let's get just the still image of Trump and Elon up.
00:31:25.000 We have been talking about we need better elites.
00:31:30.000 You see, we reject the Marxist premise that we're going to get rid of all of our elites.
00:31:33.000 It's not going to happen.
00:31:35.000 Because of the Pareto principle and the laws of nature.
00:31:37.000 Authored by nature's God, God Almighty, there will be people that end up at the top of your society.
00:31:44.000 There will be people that end up with a lot of money, a lot of power, a lot of influence.
00:31:49.000 They just have more talent.
00:31:51.000 The swan song of egalitarianism is just that.
00:31:54.000 It's a lie.
00:31:57.000 What you're looking right there is a combo package that may never happen again.
00:32:03.000 It's lightning in a bottle.
00:32:05.000 It is grace from the heavens.
00:32:07.000 The world's richest man with the world's most powerful man combining forces to deconstruct the administrative state, to restore us back to a constitutional intent, to secure our border, to restrain the globalists, to fight the woke mind virus.
00:32:25.000 You have private citizen Musk and President Trump.
00:32:29.000 It is a whole new wrinkle in Trump 2.0 that none of us saw coming even a year ago.
00:32:36.000 There were some whispers that Musk might donate.
00:32:39.000 Musk did the Twitter and the X thing.
00:32:41.000 And Elon has gone all in to be a phenomenally loyal friend and fighter for President Trump.
00:32:51.000 On top of that, Elon Musk tweeted in favor of J.D. Vance, saying that J.D. Vance has been an excellent vice president and that he hopes he'll become the 48th president, preemptively endorsing J.D. Vance for 2028, of which I happen to agree.
00:33:06.000 What we are seeing potentially, and I don't want to get too ahead of my skis, but if we do our job, we could be entering a Pax Americana.
00:33:15.000 We could be entering a sequence of leaders, democratically elected, within our constitutional republic system, that is not just a four-year reign or an eight-year reign.
00:33:27.000 We're talking about the opportunity, and this is why we must stay humble and hungry.
00:33:30.000 The two things every single day.
00:33:32.000 Stay humble and hungry.
00:33:33.000 What is the opposition doing?
00:33:34.000 What is the grassroots doing?
00:33:35.000 Can't forget why we're here.
00:33:37.000 Fulfill the mandate.
00:33:37.000 Understand that not every day is going to be good.
00:33:39.000 There'll be ups and downs.
00:33:40.000 There'll be ebbs and flows.
00:33:40.000 There'll be wax and wanes.
00:33:41.000 But we have an opportunity with this combo.
00:33:45.000 World's richest man, President Donald J. Trump, to do something that we never could have dreamed.
00:33:51.000 But there's no guarantees it could get derailed in one day.
00:33:53.000 We could make one bad decision just like Nixon.
00:33:56.000 Taping himself Watergate.
00:33:57.000 Nixon was one of the most popular presidents ever until the intel agency took him out.
00:34:00.000 We must stay on our toes.
00:34:02.000 Understand, the intel agencies are going to do everything they possibly can to asymmetrically take out President Donald Trump.
00:34:07.000 That is going to continue.
00:34:09.000 That's why you must stay humble.
00:34:10.000 But just that image.
00:34:12.000 The most powerful person on the planet with the richest person on the planet.
00:34:16.000 Elon Musk is so wealthy he could buy Spain.
00:34:19.000 Not an exaggeration.
00:34:19.000 He could literally buy Spain.
00:34:21.000 And not even think about it.
00:34:22.000 It's like a rounding error for him.
00:34:24.000 He could just buy countries.
00:34:25.000 And what he is deciding to do with his wealth, which you're always going to have wealthy people, is the opposite of what our elites have done the last 30 years.
00:34:34.000 Soros used his money to destroy the country.
00:34:37.000 We've had elites that have used their money to incinerate the republic.
00:34:41.000 He's using his time and his treasure to revitalize it.
00:34:44.000 We've been calling for better elites for the last five years.
00:34:49.000 And here we are.
00:34:50.000 And our next guest is an associate dean and assistant professor of government.
00:34:54.000 At Hillsdale in D.C. It's Dr. Matthew Meehan.
00:34:58.000 Doctor, welcome to the program.
00:35:00.000 Thank you for taking the time.
00:35:01.000 We want to talk to you about how we turn to real justice in this country and get out of the lawfare cycle the Democrats have put us in.
00:35:08.000 Tell us your thoughts.
00:35:10.000 Yeah, it's a tricky business, right?
00:35:12.000 Because if you have to go after all these malefactors, then you have to look in a certain sense like you're going after your political enemies because your political enemies did commit serious...
00:35:23.000 Wrongdoings of lawfare.
00:35:24.000 So how do you deal with that?
00:35:26.000 You have to both be just and appear to be just.
00:35:29.000 And I think in one sense, part of what the Trump administration is doing, and I think you're seeing Pam Bondi do, I think you'll see Kash Patel do this, Emile Bove, who's working for Pam Bondi in the DOJ. I think there's a sort of politics of truth where they're going to be very honest, transparent, and forthcoming.
00:35:49.000 But I also think that...
00:35:50.000 There has to be a kind of prosecutorial plan laid out about both prosecuting a certain kind of crime as a kind of thematic headliner, but also providing a kind of way out of lawfare, even for our political opponents.
00:36:07.000 So detail more of what that plan would look like and some of the pitfalls that might be included in that.
00:36:13.000 Yeah, so I think a headliner is perjury.
00:36:19.000 One of the things that lawfare needs in order to conspire and malign and attack and slander and destroy one's political opponents using legal mechanisms is sworn testimony.
00:36:32.000 You have to be deposed under oath.
00:36:34.000 You have to go before Congress under oath.
00:36:36.000 You have to go into court under oath.
00:36:38.000 You have to go before FISA courts under oath.
00:36:40.000 And perjury is a crime.
00:36:44.000 Section 18 of the Federal Code, perjury is a crime of, you know, One to five years.
00:36:50.000 And if you lie to a FISA court, if you perjure yourself there, it's five to ten.
00:36:55.000 So it's a major issue if you wind up prosecuting it because it actually squeezes off the power of lawfare conspiracies.
00:37:06.000 But it also has a kind of powerful defense against the dangers of lawfare generally, which is you're...
00:37:16.000 Basically trying to prosecute truth-telling, right?
00:37:19.000 Or lying.
00:37:20.000 Don't lie.
00:37:22.000 We are a truthful political body.
00:37:24.000 We are a people that is candid.
00:37:26.000 We are a republic of self-governance.
00:37:29.000 People have to do what they say and say what they do and do it in good faith.
00:37:33.000 That's in the language of the oath of the president and the vice president.
00:37:37.000 Pam Bondi mentioned it in her hearings.
00:37:40.000 This is what they have to rekindle.
00:37:42.000 And so if you go after perjury...
00:37:44.000 What you're basically saying is, yeah, we're going to go after some of our political opponents who perjured themselves and lied in various ways to malign their political enemies.
00:37:52.000 But the purpose of this is so that we all go back to not conspiring against one another to slander and gin up faux legal conspiracies of lawfare and attack against our political opponents.
00:38:05.000 So, I mean, let's talk about Executive Order 14157, ending the weaponization of the federal government.
00:38:12.000 Tell us about that and how it can be used for this purpose.
00:38:17.000 So, Bondi has basically put a memo out in response to Trump's executive order ending weaponization, telling DOJ we are going to go after every instance of this and also every instance of its appearance, because that's part of what you have to do.
00:38:36.000 You have to both be just and look just and keep good faith.
00:38:42.000 The weaponization executive order is going to do is basically wipe the slate clean.
00:38:50.000 And I think they chose a really good version of this with Eric Adams, the mayor of New York.
00:38:56.000 Because if you want to look like you're trying to be nonpartisan and ending lawfare, what better way to do it than to say, hey, the previous administration went after one of their own, a Democrat, because he turned tail...
00:39:11.000 On their political program of bad immigration policy.
00:39:14.000 He turned his back on that.
00:39:16.000 So he's not helping some Trump supporter in some high-profile way.
00:39:22.000 He's actually helping a Democrat mayor who's had a very adversarial attitude towards the Trump administration.
00:39:28.000 So I thought that choice in following out this executive order was a really smart one because it sends the signal, look, we're not just trying to help our friends.
00:39:39.000 We're trying to help everyone get out from under lawfare.
00:39:43.000 So I think it's a really great way to move forward.
00:39:49.000 But it's both dealing with the perjury question, I think, is a separate one, but also dealing with the weaponizations head-on.
00:39:57.000 And Bondi's got tons of things to do on every level, but I do think there's a headliner issue, too.
00:40:04.000 So I suppose the other question I have is not just the civilians that...
00:40:08.000 Have done wrong.
00:40:09.000 But how would you recommend a plan to hold the actual prosecutors themselves that obviously broke conduct or laws like either Letitia James or Alvin Bragg or Jack Smith?
00:40:24.000 How do you even launch an investigation into the investigators or prosecute the prosecutors that did not handle evidence correctly and broke customs and rules and laws?
00:40:35.000 Is there any precedent for such an investigation?
00:40:38.000 It's very dangerous to do it, right?
00:40:40.000 That's part of the problem.
00:40:42.000 And so that's one of the reasons why I think some of the things I've seen so far are to actually release someone from lawfare attacks like Eric Adams.
00:40:51.000 And I think that's right.
00:40:52.000 But when you're dealing with that, in one sense, Emile Bove has already handled the question.
00:40:59.000 He dismissed them and said, you know, or the prosecutors at SDNY. But you're talking about the actual Democrat malefactors.
00:41:07.000 Who are not refusing to deal with this issue, but who actually created the problem.
00:41:13.000 Insofar as that's an issue, I think the best way is indirectly.
00:41:17.000 You find the best cases, right, that will deal with the problem.
00:41:23.000 And so what Pambandi's done with Letitia James is they're actually not going after lawfare.
00:41:29.000 They're going after their refusal to follow immigration law.
00:41:32.000 So that's a great way to deal with that indirectly.
00:41:36.000 But insofar as you have to get closer to the problem of lawfare, another indirect way to deal with it is perjury.
00:41:42.000 Because you're not saying, hey, I don't like that you played politics.
00:41:45.000 You're saying, I don't like that you broke the law.
00:41:47.000 But it turns out perjury is the number one way people commit crimes in the service of lawfare.
00:41:54.000 I do think, by the way, at the end of this, because this is so dangerous and difficult, there are other ethics.
00:42:00.000 Like, for instance, you should pick cases that are very clearly proven without their testimony.
00:42:07.000 Like, we've got you here dead to rights.
00:42:09.000 This is a perjurous thing you did.
00:42:11.000 So once that's established, then you encourage the person to confess their perjury.
00:42:17.000 And if they do come forward with their plans, with their perjurous conspiracies, then you say, okay, now we offer clemency.
00:42:25.000 Now we're going to commute sentences.
00:42:27.000 Now we're going to bring you back.
00:42:29.000 Because what you're trying to get to at the end isn't...
00:42:32.000 Haha, I've seen all my political enemies be destroyed.
00:42:35.000 What you're actually trying to get to is a golden age of justice and peace and good faith, where people tell each other the truth, even when they're political enemies.
00:42:42.000 And I know that's a Pollyannish impossibility at the end of the day, but we can tell the difference between a sort of normal version of an imperfect world and the current lawfare absolute lying through their eye teeth all the time and perjuring themselves.
00:42:58.000 I mean, we have people, officials, who say...
00:43:00.000 Oh, you know, what else was I supposed to do besides perjure myself?
00:43:04.000 Like, well, not perjure yourself is the answer, because we have to have a politics of truth and good faith.
00:43:09.000 Doctor, thanks so much.

00:44:30.000 The team of all-stars that President Trump has assembled is historic and second to none.
00:44:35.000 When President Trump has put together...
00:44:37.000 From Scott Besson, Pete Hegseth, Marco Rubio, but of course, the top is the Vice President.
00:44:44.000 He's doing an extraordinary job.
00:44:47.000 J.D. Vance, friend of the program, friend of ours here, understands the MAGA faithful better than anybody else.
00:44:53.000 Because he lived, his lived experience is that of a MAGA voter.
00:44:58.000 This is J.D. Vance, live from CPAC. Let's play cut.
00:45:02.000 208. We cannot rebuild Western civilization.
00:45:07.000 We cannot rebuild the United States of America or Europe by letting millions and millions of unvetted illegal migrants come into our country.
00:45:16.000 It has to stop.
00:45:17.000 Thank God it's stopped here, but it's got to stop there.
00:45:21.000 Continue here.
00:45:22.000 Cut 209. Peace is in the interest of the American people, and he's going to fight for it for the remainder of his administration.
00:45:30.000 Wherever war breaks out, he's going to be the president of peace.
00:45:34.000 Now, he, of course, is a very good negotiator, a very good businessman.
00:45:39.000 He recognizes that a lot of these issues are tough.
00:45:42.000 It's going to take a smart statesman to figure this stuff out.
00:45:46.000 But we've got that in the White House.
00:45:47.000 And I really believe that we're on the cusp of peace in Europe for the first time in three years because we have leadership from the Oval Office and we haven't had it in four years in this country.
00:45:58.000 On the cusp of an actual peace deal.
00:46:00.000 J.D. Vance is exactly right.
00:46:03.000 And it all ties together.
00:46:04.000 How we view our international policy ties into our domestic policy.
00:46:10.000 Yesterday we had Marie-Therese Kaiser, who was being criminalized by her own government.
00:46:15.000 And J.D. Vance has taken aim at the German oligarchic elite.
00:46:20.000 This is one of the most crisply delivered, important 50 seconds that you're about to hear on geopolitics.
00:46:26.000 You're about to get a crash course on what's happening in Germany and Romania.
00:46:30.000 We are subsidizing it.
00:46:31.000 We've been saying this on this program repeatedly.
00:46:35.000 And what are we subsidizing?
00:46:36.000 We're subsidizing the rise of East Germany.
00:46:41.000 J.D. Vance, PlayCup 207.
00:46:43.000 Germany's entire defense is subsidized by the American taxpayer.
00:46:48.000 There are thousands upon thousands of American troops in Germany today.
00:46:53.000 Do you think that the American taxpayer is going to stand for that if you get thrown in jail in Germany for posting a mean tweet?
00:47:00.000 Of course they're not.
00:47:01.000 Right?
00:47:02.000 So the point that I try to make to our European friends, and I think that they're our friends, I believe that, I know President Trump does, is...
00:47:09.000 That friendship is based on shared values.
00:47:12.000 You do not have shared values if you're jailing people for saying we should close down our border.
00:47:18.000 You don't have shared values if you cancel elections because you don't like the result, and that happened in Romania.
00:47:25.000 You do not have shared values if you're so afraid of your own people that you silence them and shut them up.
00:47:34.000 Germany needs another Berlin Wall moment.
00:47:37.000 And J.D. Vance is exactly right.
00:47:38.000 What shared values are there exactly?
00:47:40.000 You don't even allow an opposition political party to gain strength, AFD. You have secret police going and knocking on doors because a post of a meme.
00:47:51.000 It's worth repeating.
00:47:52.000 I was speechless yesterday when we played this.
00:47:54.000 I don't think we played this on radio, though.
00:47:56.000 So it's worth repeating.
00:47:57.000 Let's try to find this.
00:47:59.000 Munich, Germany, Saudi Arabia.
00:48:00.000 We got a lot of cuts here.
00:48:01.000 Let's see.
00:48:02.000 One of the more breathtaking clips we've ever played on this program.
00:48:06.000 Yep, okay.
00:48:07.000 Play cut four.
00:48:09.000 It's 6.01 on a Tuesday morning, and we were with state police as they raided this apartment in northwest Germany.
00:48:19.000 Inside, six armed officers searched a suspect's home, then seized his laptop and cell phone.
00:48:27.000 Prosecutors say those electronics may have been used to commit a crime.
00:48:32.000 The crime?
00:48:33.000 Posting a racist cartoon online.
00:48:37.000 At the exact same time across Germany, more than 50 similar raids played out.
00:48:45.000 Part of what prosecutors say is a coordinated effort to curb online hate speech in Germany.
00:48:52.000 They have not changed.
00:48:54.000 Those are the very same type of people that were doing SS raids 80 years ago.
00:48:59.000 They're going and raiding homes, 50 of them, in northwest Germany because a meme and a cartoon was posted?
00:49:06.000 Yes.
00:49:07.000 Brought to you by the American taxpayer.
00:49:09.000 That is made possible by us.
00:49:11.000 No more.
00:49:12.000 By the way, if Kamala Harris would have won, that is exactly what they would have brought here.
00:49:16.000 It was coming.
00:49:17.000 This last election was us cutting that off at a pass, and we narrowly missed it.
00:49:23.000 We barely missed it.
00:49:24.000 Offending someone in public is illegal in Germany.
00:49:28.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:49:29.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:49:32.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
