00:00:26.000 Buckle up everybody here.

00:00:28.000 We go.

00:00:28.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:30.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.

00:00:32.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:36.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:39.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:40.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:41.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.

00:00:49.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:00:58.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:01.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.

00:01:10.000 We have a duty to you, the audience, to report terrible news, especially after tragedies.

00:01:16.000 Yesterday in Nashville, an unspeakable horror occurred.

00:01:21.000 We're going to tell you the facts and circumstances surrounding it.

00:01:24.000 Before we get into that, though, I just want to make it very clear that I hate shows like this, and they happen every so often where something tragic and awful and horrendous happens, and we have to cover it anyway.

00:01:38.000 So full disclosure, not exactly delighting, but we have a duty to you, the audience, to tell you what's happening.

00:01:45.000 And we're going to use the Socratic method to find the truth, ask the right questions, and also wonder why the media is not covering this.

00:01:52.000 Okay, we didn't say much about the shooting yesterday at the Covenant Christian School in Nashville because we wanted to wait for all the facts to come out.

00:01:59.000 And now they have, and they're even more horrifying than anyone could have imagined.

00:02:04.000 The shooter, who is the manifestation of evil, murdered three adults and three children and was a 28-year-old woman.

00:02:13.000 I'm not going to say the name on air to try to prevent copycats, but the identity unfortunately matters here because how the media is covering it and other additional dynamics that are playing into this.

00:02:23.000 Now, having a woman shooter is really uncommon. 0.55

00:02:26.000 There's almost zero woman mass shooters.

00:02:28.000 So what's different here?

00:02:29.000 Well, you may or may not have heard, but the shooter identified as a man.

00:02:36.000 Now, we want to empathize and emphasize, I'm sorry, that there's still a lot we don't know and in many days or weeks to come.

00:02:43.000 Now, we're going to talk about the trans wrinkle here, but by no means do we believe that every person who thinks they're a different sex than what they were at birth is to blame for this.

00:02:52.000 We do not try to overly generalize.

00:02:56.000 However, there are dynamics at play that are worthy of examination and inquiry, especially when it comes from cultural dynamics, media dynamics, and the dynamic that is seemingly with overwhelming evidence that this was a targeted hate crime at a Christian school.

00:03:14.000 There is more and more evidence to show that this was indeed a hate crime.

00:03:18.000 That does matter.

00:03:21.000 And so there's other questions that we're going to ask throughout the hour.

00:03:23.000 Was the shooting shooter taking male hormones like testosterone?

00:03:28.000 We don't know.

00:03:29.000 But if the shooter was, testosterone makes a person more aggressive, and it definitely plays havoc with a person who is already psychologically unstable.

00:03:36.000 So why did the shooter do this?

00:03:39.000 We'll be learning more soon.

00:03:40.000 I hope the manifesto has been taken by the FBI.

00:03:44.000 I hope we learn what is in that manifesto.

00:03:46.000 It is indisputably true that there are a lot of voices affirming this transgenderism social contagion. 1.00

00:03:55.000 Now, there's an entire narrative promoted by the media by nonprofits and elected Democrats that there's an alleged genocide of trans people.

00:04:02.000 I hear it all the time when I go to these college campuses.

00:04:04.000 Charlie, what are you doing about the genocide of trans people?

00:04:08.000 It's a fabrication. 0.91

00:04:09.000 It's a lie.

00:04:09.000 It doesn't exist.

00:04:11.000 But if you repeat it constantly, similar to BLM, somehow it becomes a truth. 0.96

00:04:17.000 And so the question is, the genocide of trans people doesn't exist, but a trans person goes in and kills six people. 0.80

00:04:27.000 That's worthy of some examination. 0.72

00:04:30.000 Now, for years now, the media and the Democrat Party have been hyping up this false and hysterical narrative.

00:04:36.000 The New York Post headline just five days ago, quote, Nebraska Democrat halts legislation over trans bill she calls genocide.

00:04:43.000 On March 19th in Wisconsin, there was a protest at the state capitol called the Day of Resistance to Transgender Genocide.

00:04:51.000 There's literally even a Wikipedia page for this fake transgender genocide as we are preparing and contemplating aggressive counter-legal action where I was slandered and lied about for saying that I called for the lynching of trans people.

00:05:04.000 It's not true.

00:05:05.000 They just make stuff up.

00:05:07.000 And what it does is it incites further violence and incites activity that is not grounded in reason or rationality.

00:05:16.000 So when people push these hysterical narratives, there are psychologically unstable people who are going to take them seriously and start plotting violence.

00:05:27.000 For years, we called transgenderism gender dysphoria.

00:05:30.000 Now, let me be very clear.

00:05:32.000 These people deserve treatment, compassion, and they deserve treatment that will bring them back into alignment with biological reality.

00:05:40.000 But it is a fact that they are suffering from a mental delusion. 0.98

00:05:44.000 What we have done is we have now basically told these people that have mental delusions that there are millions of people that are Christians and conservatives that want them dead.

00:05:54.000 Did that play a role into what we saw yesterday?

00:05:57.000 Probably.

00:05:58.000 In Oklahoma, for example, the legislature has been considering its own bill to restrict the mutilation of child castration.

00:06:05.000 In response to that, there were protests in the state yesterday.

00:06:07.000 One of them, the protesters, said trans rights or else.

00:06:12.000 This attorney and trans psychopath, Alejandra Cabaret, tweeted, quote, thank God Tennessee protected the children from the so-called horrors of drag and gender-affirming care so they could be shot up at a school by an AR-15 instead. 0.87

00:06:26.000 In other words, Welp, we warned you, now you get to pay the price. 0.80

00:06:29.000 The not-so-subtle radical media narratives, not all the media, they're basically saying this is what you get when you pass trans legislation.

00:06:37.000 There are people all throughout Twitter and social media that are basically saying, well, you guys asked for it.

00:06:41.000 You got three dead kids and three dead teachers at a Christian school.

00:06:45.000 You guys should never have passed that bill in Tennessee.

00:06:47.000 Now, this Alejandra is not just a random person.

00:06:50.000 This person taught at Harvard Law School, was actually brought in front of Congress by Democrats to testify on social media safety.

00:06:57.000 So it's not some radical person.

00:07:00.000 On April 1st, trans activists are coordinating with Antifa, planning to hold what is called a trans day of vengeance in Washington, D.C.

00:07:08.000 It's a real thing.

00:07:09.000 Could you imagine if Christians were planning a Christian day of vengeance? 0.97

00:07:14.000 Now, I could say this from personal experience. 0.98

00:07:17.000 The nastiest, most vile death threats that we receive on a daily basis come from people that identify as trans. 1.00

00:07:23.000 Matt Walsh will agree. 0.98

00:07:24.000 Ben Shapiro would agree.

00:07:26.000 Candace Owens would agree.

00:07:27.000 All of us that receive lots and lots of death threats.

00:07:30.000 It is the trans issue where we are the recipient of the most vile, direct threats against our livelihoods, against our families, against our organizations, and against our activities. 1.00

00:07:41.000 Am I saying all people that are trans do that? 0.98

00:07:44.000 Of course not.

00:07:45.000 That is not the point.

00:07:46.000 But it is a fact that the nastiness, the nastiest messages and things that we receive happen to be from this particular community.

00:07:55.000 Now, look, if we can step away from the political rhetoric and dig deep down, there's a lot of violent fantasies, unfortunately, amongst trans radicals.

00:08:04.000 Fantasies about their opponents being horribly tortured and killed.

00:08:08.000 I could go through and read the death threats on air.

00:08:09.000 I'm not going to do that.

00:08:10.000 And I'm not saying, I'm not doing this so you feel sorry for me.

00:08:12.000 I'm doing it as a fact that unfortunately, this particular group that we are not allowed to ever criticize has a violent undercurrent that tragically manifested in three dead kids and three dead teachers yesterday.

00:08:28.000 Let's please put up the Trans Day of Vengeance graphic if we have it. 0.96

00:08:32.000 If not, that's fine.

00:08:33.000 But April 1st, assembling at the Supreme Court, it says, wear a mask, bring a buddy.

00:08:38.000 Trans Day of Vengeance, stop trans genocide. 1.00

00:08:41.000 The Trans Day of Vengeance is April 1st at 11 a.m.

00:08:45.000 The internet on Twitter is also peppered with picture after picture after picture of trans people with weapons, semi-automatic shotguns and other weapons, saying trans rights with a bunch of guns, and it says dot, dot, dot, or else.

00:09:00.000 Now that could come across as a threat.

00:09:02.000 I mean, we're all for firearm ownership.

00:09:03.000 We're all for all these people owning guns.

00:09:07.000 But was the person yesterday incited by the alphabet mafia and people like Scott Weiner and the trans lobby to tragically not just hurt themselves, but also kill others? 0.81

00:09:20.000 And Tucker called this out last week by the NPR gave a fawning coverage to trans groups getting armed, calling it rainbow reload.

00:09:28.000 And was this a direct attack on Christians?

00:09:33.000 It seems like it's hard to trust anything anymore.

00:09:35.000 Our most important institutions are being destroyed piece by piece.

00:09:39.000 Are you prepared for the worst?

00:10:31.000 This evil lunatic, I will not say the name on Instagram wrote a friend. 0.93

00:10:38.000 So basically, that post I just made on here was a suicide note. 1.00

00:10:42.000 I'm planning to die today.

00:10:43.000 All caps, this is not a joke. 0.95

00:10:45.000 You'll probably hear about me on the news after I die.

00:10:47.000 This is my last goodbye.

00:10:49.000 I love you.

00:10:49.000 See you again in another life.

00:10:51.000 Audrey.

00:10:52.000 And then this person says, You have so much more life to live.

00:10:55.000 I pray God keeps and covers you. 1.00

00:10:57.000 I know, but I don't want to live.

00:10:59.000 I'm so sorry.

00:11:00.000 I'm not trying to upset you or get attention. 0.98

00:11:02.000 I just need to die. 0.66

00:11:04.000 I wanted to tell you first because you are the most beautiful person I've ever seen and known all my life.

00:11:09.000 One day this will make more sense.

00:11:10.000 I've already left more than enough evidence behind, but something bad is about to happen.

00:11:15.000 I mean, this is beyond sociopathic behavior.

00:11:17.000 Who goes in and murders three children that enter the school?

00:11:20.000 Those parents will never see those kids again.

00:11:22.000 I know what I'm supposed to do, which is forgive easily.

00:11:27.000 I don't forgive this person currently.

00:11:29.000 I'm very angry and bitter at this person.

00:11:32.000 People that's already tweeting, well, I forgive the shooter.

00:11:35.000 I don't believe you.

00:11:37.000 Sorry.

00:11:38.000 You really haven't thought very deeply about this.

00:11:40.000 Maybe you are.

00:11:40.000 Maybe you're more spiritually developed.

00:11:44.000 And I know some people say, well, Charlie, you can only forgive if they apologize.

00:11:47.000 I don't know how true that is.

00:11:50.000 And I'm not trying to, I'm not proud of it.

00:11:52.000 I mean, I'm not saying that in a braggadocious way. 0.97

00:11:58.000 But a planned massacre where you first say, I want to hurt myself, and then you go kill six other people at a school, a Christian school. 0.93

00:12:06.000 Yeah, I'm sorry. 0.85

00:12:08.000 I'm not going to forgive easily.

00:12:12.000 That's not how I'm wired.

00:12:14.000 It's going to take some work for me to get there.

00:12:17.000 Not going to be there.

00:12:19.000 Maybe you guys disagree.

00:12:20.000 Email me freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:12:22.000 And I think forgiveness is one of the hardest things we as Christians are called to do.

00:12:26.000 I get it.

00:12:27.000 But I'm also not going to lie and be like, well, you know, we have to really forgive this person.

00:12:33.000 No, they did evil.

00:12:35.000 There's three kids that are dead.

00:12:37.000 And I believe we should pray and you should pray on it and meditate on it.

00:12:40.000 But you have to be honest.

00:12:41.000 You cannot lie.

00:12:42.000 If you're struggling with something, you got to be clear.

00:12:44.000 And boy, am I clear about the anger I have towards this person, this beast, this animal.

00:12:50.000 That's what it is.

00:12:51.000 I mean, you say that, okay, I want to hurt myself.

00:12:54.000 That's very bad.

00:12:54.000 No person should commit suicide.

00:12:57.000 That is self-murder.

00:13:00.000 But then it's even worse.

00:13:02.000 It's even more evil to say, I'm going to take that own personal pain and go take six people with me.

00:13:06.000 What drives a person to do that?

00:13:09.000 That's been a question that has not been answered over the last 20 years.

00:13:14.000 Basically, from Columbine, was that 22 years ago?

00:13:17.000 No, it was like 98, 99, 23, 24 years ago, to today.

00:13:23.000 We don't know.

00:13:23.000 Is there some sort of chemical reason this is happening?

00:13:26.000 We have no idea.

00:13:28.000 But we have a lot of questions, that's for sure.

00:13:31.000 I want to play some pieces of tape here, but I mean, we've said this before on this program, and I'm confused why this is such a challenging thing to get done.

00:13:42.000 Why is it that airports, banks, and sporting events are protected with armed guards, but schools are not?

00:13:49.000 I understand the argument that people don't want the fortification of America, but I'll be very clear.

00:13:55.000 I will not send my daughter to a school if it does not have several armed guards and a single point of entry, period.

00:14:02.000 Like, that's just going to be my criteria.

00:14:03.000 It's just not going to happen.

00:14:05.000 And maybe you feel differently as a parent, but I believe that you must protect what you love.

00:14:14.000 Do I delight in the society of having armed guards everywhere?

00:14:18.000 No.

00:14:19.000 But you can, like Israel, have a lot of armed people around and still have freedom of mobility and movement.

00:14:26.000 The police were heroes in this situation.

00:14:28.000 God bless them.

00:14:29.000 They acted decisively, unlike what we saw in Uvalde.

00:14:32.000 They acted quickly and courageously and bravely.

00:14:36.000 And what was tragically six people that were murdered by this lunatic, by this evil person, very well could have been 20 or 30.

00:14:45.000 I know that's not exactly news people want to hear, but the police deserve a lot of credit here.

00:14:52.000 There's a lot of rumors around whether or not this person had a different target and all of this.

00:14:57.000 We do know that this person was a graduate of this school.

00:15:02.000 That is a pattern that we see amongst these shooters.

00:15:05.000 But of course, now the media is talking a lot more about guns than anything else.

00:15:10.000 And the New York Times has now come out and they've issued an apology.

00:15:14.000 Not an apology to the parents of the kids, not an apology to the school.

00:15:20.000 No, no, no.

00:15:21.000 The New York Times has said, quote, there is confusion later on Monday about the gender identity of the assailant.

00:15:26.000 Officials had used she and her to refer to the suspect, who, according to a social media post and a LinkedIn profile, appeared to identify as a man in recent months.

00:15:33.000 The New York Times is more worried about what pronouns are being used for this Nashville shooter, evil person, than the carnage left in the wake of gender delusion.

00:15:51.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:16:48.000 Check it out.

00:16:52.000 Not surprisingly, the media has now ignored the fact that the shooter was trans, which is not the whole story, but it is part of the story.

00:17:01.000 They're very worried that people are misgendering the shooter.

00:17:05.000 The sensitivities of the shooter are being focused on by the New York Times.

00:17:11.000 The New York Times is worried about this evil person's pronouns.

00:17:17.000 That's the New York Times.

00:17:20.000 Because the party mantra, the regime of political correctness, they're honestly scared of the alphabet mafia.

00:17:28.000 So in a time of six people being killed by a member of the alphabet mafia, they just want to make sure that the shooter is honored.

00:17:38.000 That's what the New York Times is doing.

00:17:40.000 The New York Times is honoring the shooter by saying, well, actually, the pronouns were incorrect, and we apologize for the error.

00:17:47.000 That's the New York Times.

00:17:49.000 Why doesn't the New York Times honor this girl who is dead because of this beast, Hallie? 0.96

00:17:56.000 This is Pastor Chad Scruggs and his daughter, Hallie Scruggs.

00:17:59.000 Hallie was murdered by a trans activist and a trans person yesterday, along with two of her classmates.

00:18:06.000 And the media will keep on telling you that there's a plight of transgender people.

00:18:10.000 And unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident.

00:18:13.000 Did you know that the Colorado Springs shooter identified as non-binary, according to attorneys?

00:18:18.000 The Denver shooter identified as trans.

00:18:20.000 The Aberdeen shooter identified as trans, and obviously Nashville.

00:18:24.000 Now, that's not to say that all trans people do this, obviously.

00:18:27.000 But the media tries to label every Christian, every conservative, every white person as a terrorist.

00:18:34.000 Is some of the treatment giving trans people making them overly aggressive?

00:18:38.000 We know that testosterone replacement therapy could make people more aggressive than their nature.

00:18:44.000 It could screw up their hormones.

00:18:47.000 These are honest questions that we're not allowed to ask because the New York Times doesn't want to ask those questions.

00:18:52.000 The New York Times is more worried about a narrative massacre versus a Christian massacre.

00:18:58.000 The New York Times is more worried about pronoun precision than dead kids.

00:19:06.000 It really is an interesting moment, right?

00:19:07.000 I mean, the New York Times didn't have to send out that tweet.

00:19:09.000 Who cares?

00:19:11.000 The pronouns, the evil shooter.

00:19:15.000 NPR came out.

00:19:16.000 Did you notice that NPR is celebrating the fact that trans people want to have guns and arm up? 0.95

00:19:24.000 In fact, NPR National Public Radio said gun groups for trans people are necessary for protection.

00:19:29.000 Really?

00:19:29.000 Who's actually trying to attack you?

00:19:31.000 You're the ones that are trying to kill us, actually. 0.99

00:19:34.000 The most death threats I receive are from members of the trans community. 1.00

00:19:37.000 What are you talking about? 0.91

00:19:38.000 You just make stuff up.

00:19:40.000 Play cut 39.

00:19:41.000 Mass shootings targeting LGBTQ spaces and a rise in anti-trans rhetoric have inspired some queer people to take up arms.

00:19:50.000 New Hampshire's public radio Todd Bookman joined a monthly gathering of a gun group that sees firearms as key to their own self-defense.

00:19:58.000 And as you might imagine, this story does include the sound of gunfire.

00:20:01.000 On a recent Sunday morning, the parking lot of Pawtuckaway State Park in southeastern New Hampshire is filling up with hikers.

00:20:07.000 There's also a different crew packing up warm clothes and weapons.

00:20:11.000 Thank you all for coming to Rainbow Reload.

00:20:13.000 Rainbow Reload.

00:20:14.000 By the way, in order to be an NPR host as a quote-unquote male, I think you have to have a testosterone level below 200.

00:20:20.000 You just have to have that kind of very soft, library voice, super low energy, low T.

00:20:27.000 It's like part of the job qualifications to go be a host at NPR.

00:20:30.000 It continues at 40.

00:20:32.000 Groups like Rainbow Reload exist around the country, often called pink pistol clubs.

00:20:36.000 It's a place for experts and the gun curious to practice and improve their shooting.

00:20:41.000 But this goes beyond hobby.

00:20:42.000 There's a practical goal here, to prepare and protect themselves.

00:20:46.000 If the world is dangerous, then you have to be dangerous back.

00:20:50.000 And that very much has pushed me into where I am now.

00:20:54.000 I'm all for people owning guns and arming themselves, but this is part of incitement, though.

00:20:59.000 They're creating a fake narrative, just like how they lied about me and when we were under attack at University of California Davis.

00:21:06.000 This is part, we actually saw at UC Davis a microcosm of the macro strategy.

00:21:12.000 Find something that Charlie Kirk says, lie about it completely, say that Charlie Kirk wants to lynch trans people and then deploy a violent mob with weapons to go after him.

00:21:22.000 We needed 100 police officers to protect our event.

00:21:25.000 Do you start to see the playbook here?

00:21:27.000 And the media is totally on board with it.

00:21:30.000 The media is actually pushing forward this total lie that there's a trans genocide.

00:21:35.000 Again, the trans day of vengeance. 0.99

00:21:38.000 They have shirts where they say trans rights and they have all these weapons or else. 0.97

00:21:44.000 That is a threat.

00:21:46.000 Antifa and the trans mafia are now partners and nobody's investigating them. 1.00

00:21:50.000 Now, no one's asking questions.

00:21:52.000 The media is terrified of these people.

00:21:54.000 And by the way, some of that fear is warranted.

00:21:58.000 You will get death threats.

00:22:00.000 They will try to come after you.

00:22:01.000 That's what they do.

00:22:03.000 They enjoy the violence against conservatives.

00:22:06.000 They delight in it on Twitter.

00:22:08.000 You don't have to believe me.

00:22:09.000 I mean, we get emails.

00:22:10.000 Oh, Charlie, you're exaggerating it.

00:22:12.000 No, there's no exaggerating the shooting yesterday actually at a Christian school.

00:22:15.000 That's not exaggerating.

00:22:16.000 That's real.

00:22:18.000 The same person who started the lynching rumor against me, who said that I wanted to lynch trans people, which was a lie.

00:22:24.000 We've been through that on the program.

00:22:25.000 We've covered it, delights in violence against Andy No, saying that, quote, political violence to Andy No is survival to the LGBT community.

00:22:35.000 It's part of our history and part of our blood.

00:22:36.000 We will not go quietly.

00:22:38.000 And the media is cool with it.

00:22:40.000 In fact, they're doing puff pieces saying that trans people are arming up.

00:22:43.000 Trans people have been made into kind of the sacred cow of American politics.

00:22:47.000 You can't question it.

00:22:49.000 You can't criticize it.

00:22:52.000 And they believe they can threaten whoever they want.

00:22:54.000 This is the ultimate top of the Impression Olympics. 0.81

00:22:56.000 How many dead kids is it going to take for us to say we've probably gone too far here and we should just ask a couple questions?

00:23:02.000 How many mass shootings have to happen where we probably say, wait a second, you know, do we just calm down?

00:23:08.000 Now, of course, the media can't help themselves.

00:23:10.000 They want to go directly for the guns.

00:23:11.000 They don't want to talk about any of the cultural elements here.

00:23:14.000 So we have to focus on that every time this happens, tragically.

00:23:18.000 Let's play cut 32.

00:23:19.000 Teacher union boss Weingarten calls for a repeal of the Second Amendment, play cut 32.

00:23:26.000 And how many lives will be shattered before we have the courage to do what Scotland did, what Australia did, what New Zealand did, what other great democracies do.

00:23:43.000 We must solve this epidemic, and that's up to us.

00:23:48.000 And they're talking about the epidemic of gun violence.

00:23:50.000 Look, a mature society must acknowledge costs.

00:23:55.000 Why do we have a second amendment?

00:23:56.000 A second amendment protects all the other amendments.

00:23:59.000 And if you don't think our government can become tyrannical, it's already tyrannical.

00:24:03.000 Look what we lived through during COVID.

00:24:05.000 Therefore, if you allow gun ownership, you must acknowledge and admit that you will never be able to get gun violence to zero.

00:24:12.000 There will be externalities that you do not like.

00:24:14.000 Therefore, the mature and the prudent way to approach it is how do we minimize suffering, unnecessary suffering.

00:24:21.000 And therefore, if you acknowledge that gun ownership is a moral good, which it absolutely is, to protect the other rights given to us by God, therefore, you should protect the places you care about with firearms, period.

00:24:34.000 That is the only response.

00:24:36.000 If we protect banks, sporting events, and airports with guns, if we protect celebrities' homes with guns, if we protect the Oscars with guns, we protect the Super Bowl with guns, then I think our children should be protected with guns.

00:24:52.000 It's not hard.

00:24:53.000 We have an epidemic of apathy when it comes to protecting and hardening our schools.

00:24:57.000 Some schools are stepping up.

00:24:59.000 There's plenty of schools, by the way, where teachers have firearms and they have a single point of entry.

00:25:04.000 I don't know about you in the audience.

00:25:05.000 I'd love to hear from you.

00:25:06.000 If any of you have kids or grandkids that go to a school that do not have armed guards, I would not personally make that decision.

00:25:14.000 Maybe you're more comfortable than I am.

00:25:15.000 Play cut 42, please.

00:25:17.000 Was this the only school that was targeted?

00:25:20.000 It was the only school that was targeted.

00:25:23.000 There was another location that was mentioned, but because of a threat assessment by the suspect, too much security, they decided not to in that area.

00:25:33.000 The shooter chose the school because it was a soft target, because there wasn't enough security.

00:25:40.000 Basically making the argument.

00:25:41.000 It's not about guns.

00:25:43.000 It's about what are you willing to do to protect the thing you love?

00:25:48.000 There's multiple angles here that we could still unpack that I think are worthy of some examination.

00:25:55.000 Let's go to cut 27.

00:25:56.000 Remember, Jane Fonda said that murdering pro-life Christians was a good alternative to marching and protesting. 0.99

00:26:02.000 They talk about murdering Christians all the time. 0.97

00:26:05.000 Play cut 27. 0.96

00:26:07.000 We're not going back.

00:26:08.000 I don't care what the laws are.

00:26:09.000 We're not going to do it.

00:26:10.000 Besides, besides marching and protesting, what else do you suggest?

00:26:15.000 Well, it doesn't mean murder overnight.

00:26:17.000 It's not a miraculous.

00:26:19.000 What did you say?

00:26:20.000 Murder.

00:26:21.000 She's kidding.

00:26:22.000 Wait a second.

00:26:23.000 She's just kidding.

00:26:24.000 Don't say that.

00:26:25.000 Oh, you don't know.

00:26:25.000 They'll pick up on that.

00:26:26.000 And that's what it is.

00:26:28.000 She's just kidding.

00:26:29.000 Well, let me talk to you about.

00:26:33.000 And of course, the audience laughs. 0.61

00:26:34.000 I mean, they love the idea of dead Christians. 1.00

00:26:37.000 Obviously, they laugh at it. 0.72

00:26:39.000 They enjoy the thought.

00:26:41.000 This story will soon disappear from the news cycle.

00:26:44.000 They're going to move on because this doesn't fit any one of their narratives at all.

00:26:49.000 They'll try a little gun control wrinkle.

00:26:51.000 They'll try their typical thing.

00:26:53.000 We need action now.

00:26:54.000 Like, for example, Jean-Pierre, what are you going to say to the parents?

00:26:57.000 What are you going to say to the family members?

00:26:59.000 Republicans need to listen to the majority Americans in this country, the will the people enact.

00:27:02.000 What are you going to say to the parents?

00:27:04.000 Say a lot.

00:27:05.000 Well, I know what Joe Biden was saying.

00:27:07.000 He was more worried about ice cream than actually talking to the kids.

00:27:09.000 We'll tell you that in a second.

00:27:10.000 Play cut 33.

00:27:12.000 What can his message be to particularly those Republicans who stand in the way of gun safety reform?

00:27:19.000 And here's the thing.

00:27:20.000 What we will say, what I will say to Republicans in Congress is, what are you going to say to these parents?

00:27:28.000 What are you going to say to these family members?

00:27:30.000 63% of Americans, and I heard this poll laid out here on the show earlier today.

00:27:36.000 It's a political poll, said that they want to see safer gun safety measures.

00:27:43.000 They want to see that.

00:27:44.000 That is the will of the people.

00:27:46.000 I mean, yeah, if you frame it like that, gun safety measures, who could vote against that in a poll?

00:27:51.000 But when it actually gets down to the details, the American people always side on the, almost always go on the side of the Second Amendment, almost always.

00:27:58.000 Once the details are examined, people say, well, I don't know, actually.

00:28:02.000 And again, you must be very clear about the purpose of the Second Amendment.

00:28:06.000 The Second Amendment is not there for hunting.

00:28:09.000 The Second Amendment is not even there for personal defense.

00:28:11.000 The Second Amendment is there to protect us from tyranny.

00:28:15.000 And I know people, I have a friend in Illinois who very recently never used to be pro-gun or anything.

00:28:21.000 First time in his life said, Charlie, I'll be honest, I might go buy a gun.

00:28:25.000 I understand kind of why the founders gave us that Second Amendment.

00:28:30.000 And it is there.

00:28:31.000 I know that's an uncomfortable thing for people to say because there is kind of this philosophical and intellectual bridge you have to cross of, are we really buying guns to one day protect ourselves against a tyrannical government?

00:28:43.000 Tragically, yes.

00:28:45.000 I pray that never gets to that.

00:28:47.000 I pray that we never have to do that.

00:28:49.000 But the 20th century is full of example after example of disarming the citizenry, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, terrorizing and committing genocide against the people.

00:29:02.000 And the founding fathers knew this.

00:29:03.000 The founding fathers that in order for people to remain free, the people needed an ability to defend themselves, defend their liberties, and defend their rights against an overreaching, potentially tyrannical government.

00:29:17.000 We do not say this in celebration.

00:29:20.000 It is a last resort, a last defense of liberty and freedom.

00:29:25.000 The Second Amendment protects all the other amendments.

00:29:28.000 And this kind of revisionist history that pervades society where they say, well, that will never happen here.

00:29:34.000 There's a lot of things that are happening in America that would say never happen here.

00:29:38.000 We say men give birth now in America. 0.64

00:29:42.000 We don't have a border.

00:29:43.000 5,000 people cross into our country.

00:29:46.000 We shut down our country for a couple years and masked our children and mandated a gene-altering shot because we said that would never happen here.

00:29:57.000 We shut down restaurants, clubs, schools, social gatherings, all because the experts told us.

00:30:02.000 We kept strip clubs, marijuana dispensaries, and liquor stores open, but we closed churches.

00:30:09.000 You think that would ever happen in this country?

00:30:10.000 There's a lot of things that have happened in this country the last couple of years that we would say never happened before.

00:30:15.000 So wake up and it might get a lot worse.

00:30:19.000 The Second Amendment comes with a price.

00:30:21.000 The price is you're going to have some bad people use those weapons in bad ways.

00:30:26.000 But the benefit of the Second Amendment far outweighs the cost.

00:30:29.000 The benefit is a hedge against tyranny.

00:30:32.000 The benefit is free people have an ability to protect themselves.

00:30:35.000 God forbid our government decides to turn the guns against us.
