00:01:07.000 We're no longer on defense.
00:01:08.000 The Biden campaign is in crisis.
00:01:10.000 Here we go.
00:01:12.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:01:13.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
00:01:16.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:01:19.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:22.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:23.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:24.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:01:26.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:33.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:41.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:44.000 President Trump is back on offense.
00:01:49.000 On this podcast, we have covered extensively how America is in cultural crisis right now.
00:01:54.000 They are taking down statues of George Washington with no plans to put those statues back up.
00:02:00.000 The left has formed new countries in downtown Seattle, the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.
00:02:05.000 We are seeing record amounts of cancellations and digital annihilations.
00:02:10.000 We've been on defense the last couple months, and that defense has come right after we shut down our country.
00:02:16.000 Our country has been shut down for about 100 days.
00:02:19.000 President Trump just exited the stage at the rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
00:02:24.000 And we're here, right here, right now.
00:02:25.000 We want to give you our analysis quicker than any other podcast out there of exactly what the president said and the significance of it.
00:02:33.000 I could tell you right now, I am so refreshed.
00:02:38.000 I'm filled with new spirit because the president understands and he could see the anxiety in the eyes of his own followers.
00:02:47.000 And that's what I love about these rallies.
00:02:49.000 It's not just the president speaking.
00:02:50.000 It's also the president listening and internalizing from his base, the proud, patriotic Americans that go to these Trump rallies that feel like they are losing their country.
00:03:00.000 In fact, that's one of the things the president said tonight.
00:03:02.000 He said, we got to take our country back from the elites.
00:03:06.000 The president said a lot.
00:03:08.000 And one of the big things is he put forth a separate and distinct and different worldview, so categorically different than that of Joe Biden and the radical Democrats of Elon Omar, Alexandria Casio-Cortez, and the arsonists in the streets that are burning down America.
00:03:25.000 President Trump was unafraid to say, in God we trust.
00:03:27.000 One of my favorite lines of the entire speech was near the end when he said, we stand on the shoulders of heroes.
00:03:37.000 The same heroes that the left are going after in the streets of Seattle and Portland and Boston and Philadelphia.
00:03:46.000 Let's start with this clip.
00:03:47.000 The president said 2020 is going to either be about bowing to the left-wing mob or standing tall as an American.
00:03:56.000 Play tape.
00:03:56.000 The choice in 220 is very simple.
00:04:01.000 Do you want to bow before the left-wing mob or do you want to stand up tall and proud as Americans?
00:04:10.000 That's President Trump at his best, framing the issue of whether it's going to be you capitulating to this new religion of group humiliation or standing strong and standing proud to be an American.
00:04:23.000 Now, President Trump said one thing that I don't know if I agree with this in a policy sense.
00:04:26.000 I'm a freedom of speech guy, but metaphorically, I completely agree with what President Trump was saying here.
00:04:31.000 President Trump said that there should be a one-year minimum for anyone that burned the American flag.
00:04:36.000 Play tape.
00:04:37.000 Two days ago, leftist radicals in Portland, Oregon ripped down a statue of George Washington and wrapped it in an American flag and set the American flag on fire.
00:04:55.000 Democrat.
00:04:57.000 All Democrat.
00:04:58.000 Everything I tell you is Democrat.
00:05:02.000 And you know, we ought to do something, Mr. Senators.
00:05:05.000 We have two great senators.
00:05:06.000 We ought to come up with legislation that if you burn the American flag, you go to jail for one year.
00:05:13.000 One year.
00:05:16.000 Now, again, I think that people should be able to speak freely, even if it is symbology of our country, even if it might be totally gross and disgusting and unspeakable.
00:05:25.000 However, what President Trump is really saying is it's time we fight back.
00:05:28.000 We draw a line.
00:05:29.000 There is a price to the rioting, to the arson, and to the destruction of America, that it will not go unchallenged.
00:05:36.000 That the bitter resentment towards America that is now metastasized and materialized into physical destruction of our monuments, no more of that.
00:05:47.000 That's what President Trump was focusing on.
00:05:49.000 And I could tell you right now, there's a crisis happening in the Biden for America campaign or the Joe Biden for President campaign.
00:05:56.000 Joe Biden realizes that he has to start campaigning now.
00:05:59.000 He's trying to use the media to create cover fire for him, shut down the rallies, fear monger around the spread of the virus.
00:06:06.000 And the virus is a real thing.
00:06:08.000 But I do think that the media is participating in fear mongering.
00:06:10.000 I could tell you that we are hosting the president coming up on Tuesday, Phoenix, Arizona.
00:06:15.000 You guys want to go?
00:06:15.000 It's trumpstudents.org.
00:06:17.000 You can email us, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:06:19.000 It's June 23rd.
00:06:20.000 We're going to have 3,600 students there from all across the Phoenix metro area in the American Southwest.
00:06:26.000 Media is doing everything they can to misrepresent our event.
00:06:29.000 And Joe Biden is betting that these rallies will not happen.
00:06:32.000 But the president is pushing through.
00:06:34.000 He's pushing through that like a leader does, and he says, I'm going to define the terms of engagement.
00:06:40.000 And you can start to see the media is kind of freaking out.
00:06:43.000 You can start to see the media saying, oh, my gosh, our narratives that we've been creating are kind of being challenged now.
00:06:49.000 And that's the beauty of President Trump doing his rallies.
00:06:51.000 He's back on offense.
00:06:53.000 Listen to how the president framed Joe Biden and his relationship with China.
00:06:57.000 Play tape.
00:06:58.000 He never did anything against China, Joe Biden.
00:07:01.000 And that's why they desperately want him to win.
00:07:04.000 They want him to win so badly.
00:07:06.000 Iran wants him to win so badly.
00:07:08.000 Let me tell you, I'm going to make a very fast deal, the best deal you've ever seen.
00:07:13.000 I've already made one with China, but I can make even more.
00:07:16.000 They want me to lose because they will own the United States if I lose.
00:07:22.000 President Trump also went after Joe Biden for his segregationist pass.
00:07:26.000 Play tape.
00:07:27.000 Joe Biden is a shameless hypocrite.
00:07:32.000 Since 2003, he has delivered fawning eulogies to the funeral and at those funerals of three leading supporters of segregation, including a former member of the KKK.
00:07:48.000 And yet Biden is now smearing as racists tens of millions of people like yourselves, decent, hardworking Americans who he's never met and he frankly probably doesn't want to meet.
00:08:01.000 America should not take lectures on racial justice from Joe Biden, Sleepy Joe.
00:08:11.000 A man who praised and partnered with segregationists, shipped millions of black American jobs overseas and everyone else's jobs too, by the way.
00:08:22.000 If I didn't come along, we're building auto plants, we're building everything, and there's never been a comeback like we're making right now.
00:08:31.000 Never been.
00:08:32.000 President Trump is already framing this election as, do you want to restore and rebuild America or do you want to have the 40-year failure of former Vice President Biden that was pro-segregation, authored the Clinton crime bill, said that you cannot walk into a 7-Eleven got a slight Indian accent, who's been a bitter racist his entire political career.
00:08:52.000 President Trump is saying, no.
00:08:56.000 President Trump instead is saying, my record for the black community in particular is far better than that of the radical Democrats.
00:09:07.000 In fact, President Trump said that he did more in four years than Joe Biden did for 40 years for black Americans.
00:09:13.000 And he's exactly right.
00:09:15.000 President Trump also was unafraid to talk about what I believe one of the winning issues is.
00:09:20.000 And we talk about this a lot on the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:09:21.000 I've written op-eds about it.
00:09:23.000 I've tweeted about this.
00:09:24.000 We had a whole episode about this last week.
00:09:26.000 You can go back in the archives.
00:09:28.000 School choice for black kids.
00:09:30.000 School choice being a civil right.
00:09:32.000 Play tape.
00:09:34.000 In major city public schools run by Democrats, over two-thirds of students are falling behind in reading and math.
00:09:43.000 And I think the numbers are worse than that.
00:09:45.000 But Democrats would rather deny these children the future they deserve than allow them to attend the charter, public, private, religious, or independent schools of their choice.
00:09:59.000 Pro-choice.
00:10:01.000 Pro-choice.
00:10:06.000 Pro-choice for schools.
00:10:09.000 It's very popular, but some people, it's like a disaster because what it does to certain unions that have a lot of power over the Democrats, even though they know it's wrong, Republicans believe access to education is a civil right.
00:10:25.000 And one of my favorite lines in the entire speech is when President Trump said, we stand on the shoulders of heroes.
00:10:32.000 We have a history we need to be proud of.
00:10:34.000 We have a heritage that we should teach our children about.
00:10:38.000 That the American history is one of the hero's journey, not one that the left inaccurately depicts that we should just tear it down from within.
00:10:48.000 Play tape.
00:10:49.000 We believe that children should be taught to love our country, honor our history, and always salute our great American flag.
00:11:06.000 And we live by the words of our national motto, it will never change.
00:11:13.000 In God we trust.
00:11:18.000 We stand on the shoulders of American heroes who crossed the oceans, blazed the trail, settled the continent, tamed the wilderness, dug out the Panama Canal,
00:11:33.000 laid down the railroads, revolutionized industries, won two world wars, defeated fascism and communism, and made America the single greatest nation in the history of the world.
00:11:50.000 And we are making it greater and greater every single day.
00:11:55.000 And now I want to play the last two minutes of the speech because President Trump, I think, hit his stride.
00:12:02.000 President Trump, throughout the speech, was like, wow, I'm back at a rally.
00:12:06.000 I love this.
00:12:08.000 And, you know, President Trump got better and better, and more energy was coming out of him, and more energy was building in the room as he went on.
00:12:15.000 And you could see that President Trump, at the very end of the speech, almost didn't want it to end.
00:12:20.000 He was like, I wish I had written down more notes.
00:12:22.000 And President Trump at the end framed why America's the greatest country in the history of the world.
00:12:27.000 In God we trust.
00:12:30.000 Play the last two minutes.
00:12:32.000 Proud citizens like you helped build this country.
00:12:36.000 And together, we are taking back our country.
00:12:41.000 We are returning the power to you, the American people.
00:12:48.000 With your help, your devotion, and your drive, we are going to keep on working.
00:12:55.000 We are going to keep on fighting.
00:12:57.000 And we are going to keep on winning, winning, winning.
00:13:08.000 We are one movement, one people, one family, and one glorious nation under God.
00:13:16.000 America will soon be thriving like never before because, ladies and gentlemen of Oklahoma, the best is yet to come.
00:13:34.000 Together, we will make America wealthy again.
00:13:40.000 We will make America strong again.
00:13:45.000 We will make America proud again.
00:13:50.000 We will make America safe again.
00:13:54.000 And we will make America great again.
00:14:00.000 Thank you.
00:14:01.000 Thank you, Oklahoma.
00:14:02.000 Thank you.
00:14:07.000 And now, if you remember back in January or December, President Trump used to ask his followers, should we do Make America Great Again or Keep America Great?
00:14:16.000 Well, now it's back to Make America Great Again because of the virus, because of the lockdowns, because of the riots and the arson.
00:14:22.000 President Trump is now afforded the opportunity to run as an outsider, as an insider.
00:14:27.000 This is where President Trump is at his best.
00:14:29.000 He is not at his best defending the status quo and talking about ventilators.
00:14:33.000 I'm glad that he's able to talk about ventilators.
00:14:36.000 I think that he's done a great job with ventilators.
00:14:37.000 He did mention it in his speech.
00:14:39.000 But President Trump is actually the best offensive player and the best criticizer of a broken system of any politician I've ever seen.
00:14:47.000 He is the best bull in a China shop.
00:14:49.000 And that's why we elected him.
00:14:50.000 We elected him to drain the swamp, to disrupt the status quo, to challenge the kingdom of D.C., to go after the corrupt ruling class and the political elite that have done so much damage to our country.
00:15:00.000 And you could hear that in the last two minutes.
00:15:01.000 President Trump was like, we're back, baby.
00:15:04.000 You are not going to stop this campaign or this movement.
00:15:07.000 And we are hosting him this Tuesday in Phoenix, Arizona.
00:15:11.000 And we're just going to continue the momentum.
00:15:12.000 We are going to continue the momentum of him laying out a vision of positivity, of optimism, of renewal, of restoring America.
00:15:20.000 And again, the Biden campaign knows that they can be in hiding and in the candidate protection program, which is a deviation of the witness protection program, for maybe another week, maybe another two weeks.
00:15:30.000 But the more that President Trump gets in front of tens of thousands of people and thousands and thousands of activists, it's going to be harder and harder for Joe Biden to continue to have a socially distanced press conference with six people that show up.
00:15:41.000 No energy, no enthusiasm.
00:15:43.000 President Trump will be richly rewarded politically if he keeps this up.
00:15:47.000 I know it's hard right now because the media is saying, what about the virus?
00:15:50.000 What about the lockdowns?
00:15:51.000 Don't you care for other people?
00:15:53.000 But the more he pushes through, the more that he stays focused on truth and on defining the election, I'm telling you right now, he will be rewarded because of that.
00:16:02.000 They are doing this because they want President Trump to stay quarantined.
00:16:05.000 They want President Trump to stay stationary.
00:16:08.000 They want President Trump to stay sedentary.
00:16:11.000 We have to understand the American story is one of pride, strength, and triumph, not fear, shame, or apologizing that Joe Biden's trying to articulate.
00:16:21.000 Do you think Joe Biden could have a rally that's even one-tenth the size of what President Trump had tonight?
00:16:25.000 When Joe Biden does a live stream, he can't even get 1,000 people on it.
00:16:29.000 Now, look, the Democrats are going to try to cheat their way to victory, but President Trump getting back in front of people.
00:16:34.000 I'm honestly fired up.
00:16:35.000 You can probably hear my voice.
00:16:36.000 Because as I've said in previous podcasts, it's hard fighting this culture war alone when the president is not really dictating the terms of engagement.
00:16:44.000 When the activist media is the one that's dictating what's happening, the corporations are the one that are funding Black Lives Matter time and time again.
00:16:51.000 It's hard to continue to fight when you're not getting the backup that you think you have, when you're not getting the backup that, quite honestly, you need.
00:17:00.000 And by the way, some people are going to say, well, it was smaller than would have been expected.
00:17:04.000 Well, yeah, of course.
00:17:05.000 I mean, the media did everything they possibly can to propagandize people to say it wasn't safe to go.
00:17:10.000 Let's see what Biden can do in the middle of a pandemic.
00:17:12.000 Let's see if Biden could have more than 100 people.
00:17:14.000 And he won't.
00:17:15.000 The Biden campaign will refuse to engage.
00:17:18.000 No Trump event to date has been attacked as much as this event.
00:17:21.000 And yet President Trump fought through it, and he will be richly rewarded politically because of that.
00:17:28.000 We actually caught up with Congressman Jim Jordan, who is live at the Tulsa rally, to tell us what he was feeling on the ground, his thoughts on the direction of the conservative movement, the great Congressman Jim Jordan, who fights every single day for our country, for freedom, for liberty against the D.C. ruling elite.
00:17:43.000 He's one of the few guys in Congress that actually gets it and has actually exposed the fraud of the American left.
00:17:50.000 We caught up with him by phone right before the president took the stage.
00:17:54.000 Let's listen in.
00:17:57.000 Congressman Jim Jordan.
00:17:58.000 He is live from the Tulsa rally, and you might hear some of that amazing excitement in the background.
00:18:02.000 Congressman, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:18:05.000 Good to be with you, Charlie.
00:18:06.000 Thanks for all you're doing for the call, brother.
00:18:08.000 Well, thank you.
00:18:09.000 So tell us what it's like on the ground in Tulsa.
00:18:11.000 It sounds like it's kind of a higher energy gathering than what Joe Biden had when he had five people socially distanced in a room.
00:18:18.000 Give us a first-hand report.
00:18:21.000 Joe Biden catering to the canceled culture of the radical left who wanted to defund the police versus the president doing what he said and having a huge rally here in Tulsa.
00:18:32.000 And you can, yeah, you're right.
00:18:33.000 The energy.
00:18:34.000 This is just the launch of the Great American Compact.
00:18:36.000 This is the relaunch of the campaign after this virus thing we've been through.
00:18:41.000 So lots of people.
00:18:42.000 People waited like three, four days on the sidewalk to get into this thing.
00:18:45.000 That's the demand.
00:18:46.000 That's the connection this president has with the American people.
00:18:48.000 Yeah, it's incredible.
00:18:49.000 So some people are criticizing the rallies.
00:18:52.000 We're hosting the president in Phoenix, Arizona on June 23rd.
00:18:55.000 I've had to battle a couple reporters back and forth, but that's nothing new and we embrace it.
00:19:00.000 What's your thoughts on these rallies, Congressman?
00:19:02.000 It's about time we have a conversation around freedom and responsibility in our country.
00:19:06.000 I think it's long past time to have these gatherings and tell people to be responsible and to make informed choices.
00:19:12.000 What's your interpretation of all this?
00:19:14.000 No, you're exactly right, Charlie.
00:19:16.000 The left only wants to criticize when conservatives get together to rally for President Trump and to defend their liberties.
00:19:22.000 Remember up in Michigan when people said, hey, we should be able to open our business.
00:19:26.000 We should be able to go to church.
00:19:27.000 We should be able to not close gun shops so we can exercise our Second Amendment right.
00:19:31.000 And oh, that was terrible.
00:19:33.000 But now the last several weeks, we've seen all kinds of protests in the street, protests that weren't necessarily focused on some of the same things that conservatives were, and protests that unfortunately turned violent and rioting in some of those.
00:19:46.000 But somehow that was no problem with the coronavirus.
00:19:49.000 So this double standard is just ridiculous.
00:19:51.000 Americans see through it.
00:19:53.000 And like you said, it's time to get the country moving, to do it in the smartest way as possible, but to get the country moving.
00:19:59.000 And the president understands that.
00:20:01.000 Yeah, and we do it responsibly, and we have people that are at-risk shelter in place, and we make responsible choices of who we see when we see them.
00:20:08.000 However, you know, we're hosting a student event, Congressman.
00:20:10.000 We'll have 3,600 students.
00:20:12.000 And it's the least at-risk demographic by far when it comes to the virus.
00:20:17.000 And, you know, the young people have really everyone has had their life change, but young people in particular, I think, have had a disproportionate impact.
00:20:24.000 You have their spring sports, their prom, their commencement, their jobs, their internships, you name it.
00:20:29.000 So, Congressman, I'm hearing from a lot of people, and you're an exception to this criticism.
00:20:34.000 People are really kind of looking for Republicans to fight right now.
00:20:37.000 It seems like we're just kind of letting the left dictate the terms of engagement, and we're playing defense.
00:20:43.000 I think where you are right now in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is the moment where we go back on offense.
00:20:47.000 Can you comment on that?
00:20:48.000 Because I'm hearing a lot of people have that sentiment.
00:20:52.000 No, you're exactly right.
00:20:53.000 And take just the radical positions the Democrats have adopted this Congress.
00:20:58.000 They started this Congress off by saying they wanted to abolish ICE, and then they moved to, no, no, no, we want to abolish the Department of Homeland Security.
00:21:05.000 And now they're talking about defunding and abolishing police departments.
00:21:09.000 When you have the left and the Democrat Party embracing the left and these radical positions, we have to push back, Charlie.
00:21:16.000 We have to stand up for our fundamental liberties.
00:21:18.000 Bill Barr said during the coronavirus two months ago, he put out a memo and he said, the Constitution is not suspended during a crisis.
00:21:26.000 And I say amen to that.
00:21:28.000 This great country, the greatest nation ever, built on those fundamental liberties and freedoms outlined in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights.
00:21:33.000 We should stand up for those.
00:21:34.000 And when we see what's happening right now in the country, tearing down George Washington statue in Portland, Oregon, doing the crazy things we see on the left, of course we have to push back.
00:21:44.000 I think today marks the point.
00:21:44.000 And I think you're right.
00:21:47.000 This is where we say time to push back and reassert what makes this country the special place that it is.
00:21:53.000 Yeah, and I'm confident the president's going to do that tonight.
00:21:56.000 I mean, they're stealing our culture, Congressman, and you're fighting.
00:21:59.000 You really are.
00:22:02.000 There aren't enough of you that are standing up and saying, no, you're not going to take down these statues.
00:22:06.000 You are not going to cancel people that say things that are not controversial.
00:22:13.000 And the left is coming on a total campaign right now, the likes of which we've never seen this level of aggression.
00:22:18.000 But I think it's because that we haven't had our rallies.
00:22:21.000 We haven't had our political infrastructure in place.
00:22:23.000 And the president is the best offensive political player that we've ever seen in the modern era.
00:22:30.000 So you're from the great state of Ohio.
00:22:32.000 Tell us what you feel and what you see in Ohio.
00:22:34.000 Ohio is critical to the presidency.
00:22:35.000 Some people are taking it for granted as a deep red state.
00:22:38.000 What are you seeing in hearing in Ohio?
00:22:40.000 People are so tired of, as you said, the cancel culture left and what they're trying to do.
00:22:46.000 Thank you, Sheriff.
00:22:48.000 And they are saying, look, last week when it was a flag day, people putting out the American flag.
00:22:53.000 And guess what, Charlie?
00:22:54.000 Right beside it?
00:22:55.000 Right beside it?
00:22:56.000 Flag.
00:22:57.000 Because they are tired of what the media says about President Trump.
00:22:59.000 They are tired of the press calling us regular Americans, normal American families, calling us all kinds of names.
00:23:04.000 And they said, enough is enough.
00:23:05.000 You're also tired of.
00:23:07.000 This impacts young Americans probably more than anyone you think long term.
00:23:11.000 They're tired of these big companies, big tech companies, censoring conservatives.
00:23:15.000 Two years ago, four of us got shadow banned by Twitter.
00:23:18.000 Gates, Meadows, Nunez, Jordan, four conservatives.
00:23:21.000 The president gets censored by Twitter.
00:23:24.000 Two days ago, the federalist gets demonetized by Google.
00:23:27.000 And it's all conservatives they come after.
00:23:29.000 So we've got to push back on that as well, because if they get control of all that and they can censor conservatives, where do young people go?
00:23:38.000 You've all grown up with these social media platforms.
00:23:41.000 So this is scary stuff and why this president is so darn important, so important that he win, and so important that we support him and push back on what the left is doing.
00:23:49.000 Yeah, thank you for mentioning that, Congressman.
00:23:51.000 And so is there anything specifically that you think we can do legislatively?
00:23:54.000 I mean, I have called for inquiries and all this, and I want to thank you for mentioning it because so many members of Congress are afraid to take on these tech giants and these tech titans.
00:24:02.000 And I mean, you're right there in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
00:24:04.000 They're trying to prevent the president who's about to speak there from tweeting out videos that are non-controversial.
00:24:09.000 Twitter's censoring those videos.
00:24:11.000 So what do you think legislative we can do also that is harmonic with our principles?
00:24:17.000 It's real simple.
00:24:18.000 You censor conservatives.
00:24:19.000 There's got to be consequences.
00:24:21.000 You start censoring people.
00:24:22.000 There's got to be countenance.
00:24:24.000 Look, you censor anyone, there should be consequences.
00:24:26.000 But we all know it's only one direction.
00:24:28.000 It's always censoring conservatives.
00:24:29.000 So there has to be consequences.
00:24:31.000 You're making those kind of decisions.
00:24:32.000 And that's exactly what we're seeing.
00:24:33.000 So I'm not sure exactly what the remedy is.
00:24:36.000 We can look at the Section 230 issue and others, but you have to be held responsible.
00:24:40.000 There has to be implications, ramifications, and consequences if you're doing what we know they are now doing, and it looks like they're doing it in a systematic way.
00:24:48.000 And it's only one direction towards conservatives.
00:24:50.000 Yeah, that's exactly right.
00:24:51.000 Well, in closing, Congressman, what are the big themes you think we have to capitalize on?
00:24:55.000 The polls haven't been good.
00:24:56.000 I don't believe the polls, but the polls that are coming out have us down a little bit.
00:24:59.000 And honestly, I think a shot in the arm wouldn't be the worst thing for us because, you know, I think complacency is the gateway to defeat and let the left think that they're up and we're going to organize and work like never before.
00:25:10.000 But what do you think the big messages are that we have to capitalize on?
00:25:12.000 A lot of our listeners are the frontline activists.
00:25:15.000 We have hundreds of thousands of people that listen to this program that are young patriots that want to help and want to get involved.
00:25:20.000 What are you hearing and seeing?
00:25:21.000 What do we have to focus on?
00:25:22.000 Well, first of all, you're right.
00:25:24.000 The president was down in every single poll going into November 8th, 2016.
00:25:29.000 And we all know what happened there.
00:25:31.000 That same dynamic is in play here.
00:25:32.000 I think the choice is clear.
00:25:34.000 You got Joe Biden in his basement catering to the cancel culture left, the same radical left who wants to defund the police, same radical left who wants to raise your taxes, take away your health care, cut our military.
00:25:45.000 All in all, you could go.
00:25:46.000 That's Joe Biden versus President Trump, who has taken on the swamp.
00:25:50.000 And in spite of a relentless pushback from the swamp, cut taxes, reduced regulations, before the coronavirus had the best economy we've ever seen, lowest unemployment in 50 years, put Gorsuch and Capitol on the court out of the Iran deal, embassy in Jerusalem, hostages home for North Korea, and new trade deal.
00:26:06.000 So who do you want to president?
00:26:08.000 Who can lead the great American comeback?
00:26:10.000 Joe Biden from his basement or Donald Trump who's taken on the swamp.
00:26:12.000 It is that simple.
00:26:14.000 Well said.
00:26:15.000 Well, Congressman, enjoy the rally.
00:26:17.000 Thank you for joining us today.
00:26:18.000 Anything else you want to mention or things that you're seeing or hearing?
00:26:22.000 Thank you.
00:26:22.000 What you're doing is so darn important.
00:26:24.000 And the American people appreciate it.
00:26:25.000 The country appreciates it.
00:26:27.000 So we appreciate all the great work you guys are doing.
00:26:30.000 Just keep it up, brother.
00:26:31.000 All right.
00:26:31.000 Enjoy the rally.
00:26:32.000 Support our president.
00:26:32.000 Thanks, Congressman.
00:26:33.000 Talk to you soon.
00:26:36.000 It was great hearing from Congressman Jordan.
00:26:38.000 We also caught up with Congresswoman Debbie Lesko, who represents a part of the Phoenix metro area.

00:27:13.000 We caught up with Congresswoman Let's Go By Phone as well.
00:27:16.000 Listen in today, I'm honored to be joined by Congresswoman Debbie Lesko.
00:27:25.000 Congresswoman, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:27:27.000 Oh, it's great to be on with you.
00:27:30.000 I'm excited.
00:27:30.000 Awesome.
00:27:31.000 Well, I understand you are currently in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as this conversation is happening.
00:27:38.000 I hear there's something happening in Tulsa.
00:27:40.000 I hear that it's maybe a couple people are gathering to hear something.
00:27:44.000 What's the feel on the ground?
00:27:46.000 I mean, the media is making it seem as if this is an awful thing that's happening.
00:27:50.000 You're right there in the front lines.
00:27:52.000 Tell us what's happening.
00:27:53.000 Oh, I went outside for a while, and there's throngs of people.
00:27:56.000 They're all excited.
00:27:58.000 They love Donald Trump.
00:27:59.000 They're wearing Donald Trump t-shirts, hats, you name it.
00:28:03.000 They have flags that they're flying.
00:28:06.000 This is an exciting, energy-filled Oklahoma.
00:28:10.000 Oklahoma loves Donald Trump.
00:28:13.000 It's incredible.
00:28:14.000 Well, Tuesday, we have our event with Turning Point Action, Students for Trump, that we are hosting the president in Arizona.
00:28:21.000 We hope that you'll be able to make it there as the president comes to the great state of Arizona.
00:28:29.000 What are your thoughts on these events?
00:28:30.000 A lot of people are coming under attack and scrutiny for hosting them.
00:28:34.000 We are definitely battling the media every day.
00:28:37.000 They are trying to criticize us for hosting this event.
00:28:40.000 What are your thoughts?
00:28:41.000 You're a member of Congress.
00:28:42.000 You're a support of the president.
00:28:44.000 What's your response to a lot of those criticisms?
00:28:47.000 You know, they're going to criticize us no matter what we do.
00:28:50.000 That's what the Democrats and the liberals do.
00:28:52.000 They try to bully us.
00:28:54.000 They try to silence us.
00:28:55.000 But Donald Trump knows, and the rest of us know, we will not be silenced because we're standing up for the values that have made our nation great.
00:29:04.000 And if we let these people get their way, our country is going to be ruined.
00:29:08.000 So I'm glad that we're having the rally here in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and that we're having a rally in Arizona.
00:29:16.000 The president's campaign has handed out masks to everyone and hand sanitizers.
00:29:24.000 And so people are excited, trying to stay safe.
00:29:28.000 But, you know, listen, there's marches going on all over the nation, protests going on, and the left-wing media doesn't complain about them, but they complain about people getting together because it's Donald Trump, because they don't like Donald Trump and they want to regain power, and they will do anything to stop President Trump.
00:29:50.000 Yeah, it sure seems that way.
00:29:51.000 So generally, it seems that the media is so determined to destroy the president.
00:29:57.000 I mean, they were silent on a lot of these protests, despite them not being socially distanced and highly critical now of these Trump gatherings.
00:30:05.000 So it seems like a lot of the conservative movement and Republican movement needs to kind of reorganize at this point.
00:30:13.000 And having the president back out in front of the people and rallying is critical.
00:30:18.000 What is your thoughts on how things are trending?
00:30:20.000 Arizona is a battleground state.
00:30:22.000 It is where we have our organizational headquarters for our educational arm, Turning Point USA, and also our C4, Turning Point Action and Students for Trump.
00:30:32.000 What are your thoughts?
00:30:33.000 It seems like the polls are tightening.
00:30:34.000 Arizona is a critical state.
00:30:36.000 You represent it.
00:30:37.000 Tell us your thoughts on how things are going.
00:30:39.000 Oh, I believe that Arizona is going to vote for President Trump and re-elect President Trump.
00:30:44.000 You know, you know, Joe Biden, I still can't believe that the Democrat voters picked him because he is so low energy and really it's kind of sad because he has a hard time, you know, putting two sentences together sometimes and answering questions.
00:31:02.000 And so I really was shocked that they picked him because he's had 40 years of a record and he hasn't done much.
00:31:10.000 And you have President Trump who's been in there doing what he said he's going to do.
00:31:14.000 I mean, we had a booning economy before the coronavirus hit.
00:31:20.000 And President Trump is the only candidate that can get us back to where we were.
00:31:26.000 I'm very confident about it.
00:31:28.000 I mean, you see what Biden, he shows up to meetings and does this social distancing thing.
00:31:34.000 And, you know, what was there, five people there or something?
00:31:37.000 That's record attendance for a Biden rally.
00:31:41.000 I mean, my goodness, there is no comparison.
00:31:45.000 I just, I would be totally shocked if President Trump didn't win reelection.
00:31:51.000 And that's with just about everybody, you know, in the media against them, the liberals against them.
00:31:58.000 I mean, he has to battle all of that.
00:32:01.000 And I still believe he's going to win just like he did last time.
00:32:04.000 Yeah.
00:32:05.000 So there's a lot of growing unease in our country about the lack of law and order.
00:32:10.000 I mean, in Scottsdale, for example, it seems like the rioters went to Scottsdale Fashion Square, and many of them were not even held accountable for what they did.
00:32:18.000 And that's not in the fabric of Arizona.
00:32:20.000 I know there were plenty of arrests, but there were also a lot of people that got away with what they stole and what they did and what they destroyed.
00:32:27.000 And I was stunned being in Arizona, seeing that happen and just knowing people's businesses that were ransacked and destroyed.
00:32:33.000 A lot of people feel like the Republican Party is not fighting for them.
00:32:36.000 They feel like the president is, but it just seems like that there's just a lack of intensity right now.
00:32:43.000 And I know you're one of the few people that are fighting for what is good and for what is true in Washington, D.C. What are your thoughts on the growing lawlessness in America and the culture war that is raging right now in our country?
00:32:57.000 Well, this is an excellent example between what Democrats believe in and what Republicans believe in.
00:33:03.000 I am a member of the House Judiciary Committee, and last week we sat through a hearing about the Democrats bill.
00:33:11.000 They didn't reach out to Republicans at all.
00:33:14.000 There's some features of the bill on policing reform that Republicans could support, but they inserted a whole bunch of liberal stuff that law enforcement has said would take away their ability to do their job.
00:33:28.000 And, you know, and so I introduced an amendment that basically said, okay, cities that allow this lawlessness in autonomous zones that are cop-free zones are not going to get federal grants for law enforcement.
00:33:45.000 Kind of common sense, right?
00:33:47.000 Oh, no, the Democrats chastised me, called me basically racist, all kinds of things.
00:33:54.000 We had Democrats claiming that there was just poetry reading there.
00:34:00.000 Congresswoman Jaya Paul said there was no takeover at all in Seattle.
00:34:06.000 And I was like, what about the police precinct that they took over?
00:34:09.000 These people are so liberal.
00:34:11.000 They're so radical.
00:34:13.000 And Joe Biden is right there with them.
00:34:17.000 I mean, if we allow them to control the U.S. House of Representatives as they do now when they're passing these crazy liberal bills.
00:34:28.000 And then if the Senate turns Democrat and if Biden gets in, can you imagine all these radical bills that give free things to illegal immigrants, that open the border, that basically regulate everything about our lives, increase taxes, all that is going to become law and all the things that President Trump has done are going to be erased.
00:34:56.000 We cannot let this happen to our country.
00:34:59.000 That's why this election is so important.
00:35:02.000 And that's why I am so happy that you're involved and students for Trump is involved.
00:35:08.000 And yes, I plan on being on that rally and I'm super excited about it.
00:35:12.000 Well, that's terrific.
00:35:14.000 Yeah.
00:35:14.000 And it just seems as if the anarchists and the Democrats, they are working in one.
00:35:19.000 It's interesting what you just mentioned.
00:35:20.000 I want to make sure I heard it correctly, that you were trying to make sure that if these zones declare themselves autonomous, that they wouldn't get federal grants for law enforcement.
00:35:30.000 Is that correct?
00:35:31.000 That is correct.
00:35:32.000 And the Democrats shot it down.
00:35:34.000 They did not vote for it.
00:35:36.000 Another amendment that I introduced was if a city votes to defund, dismantle, or disband the police department, they shouldn't get federal guns grants for law enforcement.
00:35:48.000 They shut that one down.
00:35:50.000 But isn't that what they want?
00:35:52.000 Don't they want the defunding of the police?
00:35:54.000 Don't they, that's what I'm kind of perplexed by.
00:35:56.000 They're defunding their local police, but then they say, keep on sending us federal dollars.
00:36:00.000 I'm not really sure.
00:36:01.000 I thought that's the whole point is that they don't want any law enforcement.
00:36:04.000 They don't make any sense.
00:36:06.000 Can I just tell you, I work there, and just like President Trump says, I didn't know it was so bad in Washington, D.C. Many of these Democrats, they have no common sense.
00:36:20.000 They say they're so radical, so out of touch with where most Americans are.
00:36:26.000 And the reason that most of America doesn't realize that Republicans are fighting for them like me and others is because the media won't cover it.
00:36:36.000 They won't cover it.
00:36:37.000 Then they have these, they have Twitter, Google, everything in their pockets, the Democrats do.
00:36:43.000 So they censor us there.
00:36:45.000 Thank God they're not taking down President Trump's Twitter account, which there are some Democrats in Homeland Security Committee, of which I'm a member.
00:36:56.000 They have said to Twitter, we want you to take down President Trump's Twitter account because we believe he's a terrorist.
00:37:05.000 I mean, these people are nuts.
00:37:08.000 That's the only way I can say it.
00:37:10.000 Some of these Democrats are just plain nuts.
00:37:14.000 Yeah, it's just unbelievable.
00:37:16.000 So for the young students listening to this, they're up against opposition.
00:37:21.000 We have tens of thousands of high school kids that listen to this program very intently, and they're called names just like you are, and they are criticized.
00:37:29.000 What's your practical advice to them of how to stand up against the mob, stand up against the condemnation that comes for being a conservative and being a Trump supporter?
00:37:37.000 Hang in there because the more they complain, the more the left and the Democrats bully you, the more you know that you're striking a nerve and that you're winning.
00:37:48.000 And, you know, this has taken me years to get used to people calling me all kinds of names, wishing I was dead, those type of things.
00:37:58.000 But you know what?
00:37:59.000 We need to win because it's our country at stake.
00:38:03.000 And so thank God for these students that are out there listening to your program because they care about our country.
00:38:11.000 We cannot let bullies tell us what to do.
00:38:15.000 We cannot be silenced.
00:38:17.000 And that's why I tell the silent majority, I tell adults this as well.
00:38:23.000 We can no longer be silent because if we continue to be silent and let these radicals and liberals bully us and censor us, our country's future is going down the tubes.
00:38:37.000 Yeah, I agree.
00:38:39.000 So how do we practically turn these polls around?
00:38:42.000 I know that I don't believe all these polls, but some of them, even some of the internals that have been made public, aren't exactly going in the right direction.
00:38:49.000 What practically do you think we need to do to kind of give a little shot in the arm, a stimulus, if you will, to be able to get the president numbers up and also, you know, hopefully retire Nancy Pelosi, which would be nice.
00:39:00.000 And I know you have to deal with that whole pack of apparatches every single day.
00:39:04.000 So in order to, you know, turn that around, what do you think we have to do practically so that we can reclaim the House?
00:39:10.000 I think we need to do just what you are doing, and that's getting our word out and other conservative groups and other conservative media sources getting the word out because the other media, the liberal media, is not going to do it for us.
00:39:24.000 They are in the pocket of the Democrat Party and are doing everything that they can to take back power.
00:39:32.000 And that's what this is about.
00:39:33.000 It's about taking back power.
00:39:35.000 They want power to implement all these radical ideas.
00:39:39.000 And so we just need to talk to people.
00:39:41.000 Most people do not realize the radical bills that the U.S. House of Representatives is passing because there's more Democrats than Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives.
00:39:54.000 And so they have the Speaker of the House.
00:39:57.000 They have all the chairmen of the committee.
00:39:59.000 They set the agenda.
00:40:01.000 They pass radical bills.
00:40:03.000 And the Senate stops them because they're Republican.
00:40:06.000 Most people do not understand the basics of how it works.
00:40:10.000 And it's really, quite frankly, about math.
00:40:13.000 You need more Republicans in the House.
00:40:15.000 You need more Republicans in the Senate to have a majority to make sure that our country stays on track.
00:40:22.000 Because if we lose that and they get the power, they're going to implement all these radical ideas.
00:40:29.000 And so I think it's education, quite frankly.
00:40:32.000 It's education, doing what Trump is doing now, which is starting the rallies back up.
00:40:38.000 I think I still have faith in the American people that what they see out there, this lawlessness, and the liberals supporting this chaotic things.
00:40:52.000 I had Jamie Raskin, who's a congressman, a Democrat congressman, saying in Judiciary Committee, he's perfectly fine with the lawlessness in Seattle.
00:41:04.000 I mean, seriously, most people do not realize how radical Democrats have become.
00:41:11.000 Yeah.
00:41:12.000 Well, in closing, tell us your experiences with President Trump, your favorite story with President Trump.
00:41:17.000 It's something that I try to do on this show is tell real stories that humanize the president because I've had a great opportunity to get to know him.
00:41:24.000 Tell us what your interactions with him have been, how they're different than how the media portrays it, and maybe your favorite Donald Trump story.
00:41:32.000 Well, what's interesting is I never thought that I would be in Congress to begin with.
00:41:37.000 And so my life has been very blessed.
00:41:40.000 And so I remember that the first dinner I went to after I was sworn into Congress, President Trump was introducing the Congress members that were there, and he didn't really know me.
00:41:52.000 And so he introduced my husband as the Congressman.
00:41:56.000 He said, Congressman Joe Lesko and Debbie.
00:42:00.000 And so it went from that.
00:42:01.000 And then less than two years, I was on judiciary committee standing up against the impeachment.
00:42:08.000 He saw that I had a passion in me.
00:42:11.000 And then I became one of eight U.S. Congress members to be on his impeachment defense team.
00:42:19.000 And now he calls me Debbie.
00:42:21.000 He knows me by sight.
00:42:24.000 And he, the day after he was acquitted, he had a press conference in the White House.
00:42:30.000 And he said such nice things about me.
00:42:33.000 I mean, they were very touching.
00:42:35.000 I actually, my cheeks turned a little red.
00:42:38.000 I was a little, you know, embarrassed.
00:42:39.000 It was, it was like gushingly nice.
00:42:43.000 And I just stood there and believed, thank you, God, because here I am.
00:42:47.000 I didn't even think I would be in U.S. Congress.
00:42:50.000 And I have the President of the United States telling me what a great job I've done and how I'm working to save the country.
00:42:58.000 And it's very humbling, and I'm very blessed.
00:43:02.000 Well, God bless you for what you're doing for our country.
00:43:04.000 And thank you for fighting so hard.
00:43:06.000 And we will see you Tuesday.
00:43:08.000 And if anyone wants to join, go to trumpstudents.org.
00:43:10.000 We are hosting the president in Phoenix, Arizona.
00:43:13.000 3,600 students will be in the room, and we can't wait to see you, Congresswoman.
00:43:18.000 So thank you so much, and keep up the fight.
00:43:22.000 And as you can hear, the recurring theme is that Trump is back on offense.
00:43:26.000 If you're listening to this and you've been a little bit, I don't know, cynical, negative, pessimistic, now's the time for us to get back on offense.
00:43:35.000 The president is on the attack, metaphorically, of course.
00:43:38.000 Joe Biden is on defense.
00:43:39.000 Our country is worth saving.
00:43:41.000 Our country is worth fighting for.
00:43:42.000 Liberty, freedom.
00:43:43.000 In God we trust.
00:43:44.000 E pluribus unum.
00:43:46.000 We are going to stand and fight for America.
00:43:48.000 And if they take us down, I will be on my feet, not on my knees.
