00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:00:01.000 Andrew Colvet back in the chair for one more show day.
00:00:05.000 I'm so excited to be with you.
00:00:07.000 We have a fantastic hour in store.
00:00:10.000 This episode is all about the Trump boomerang.
00:00:13.000 The trial in Georgia will be live streamed.
00:00:16.000 Will it be a boomerang?
00:00:17.000 Will it backfire?
00:00:18.000 Have they underestimated the phenomena that is Donald Trump and the blowback of their political persecution?
00:00:25.000 We break it all down for you.
00:00:27.000 And we also welcome Benny Johnson, who is also part of Turning Point USA, but he's got the Benny Show.
00:00:33.000 He's got some great, phenomenal commentary and a new video that he just dropped.
00:00:37.000 Man on the street in Nashville asking if the mug shot, if the indictments are having their intended effect, or does it make people more likely to vote for Trump?
00:00:45.000 I think you'll find it incredibly intriguing content that we share with you.
00:00:49.000 Buckle up.
00:00:50.000 Here we go.
00:00:51.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:53.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:55.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:59.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:02.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:03.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:04.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:01:06.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:01:11.000 Turning point USA.
00:01:12.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:21.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:25.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:33.000 It is indeed a very distinct honor to be able to do this with you all.
00:01:38.000 And I had to laugh this morning.
00:01:40.000 Charlie and I were texting back and forth.
00:01:42.000 I told him to stay off his phone, but he couldn't help himself.
00:01:44.000 So he's texted me and he's gone, how come we're up in the podcast charts?
00:01:48.000 You know, I'm not there.
00:01:49.000 What's going on?
00:01:49.000 I said, I don't know.
00:01:51.000 I don't know, Charlie.
00:01:52.000 You know, it's maybe those boys at Apple don't like you so much or whatever.
00:01:58.000 But thank you guys for listening.
00:02:00.000 The numbers are strong.
00:02:01.000 I think you guys are showing this show and this team that puts on this show that you support us and you support Charlie even when he is away.
00:02:11.000 So thank you so much for that.
00:02:13.000 I want to get into this story here.
00:02:16.000 Are we living through a boomerang?
00:02:19.000 Are we about to live through a boomerang?
00:02:22.000 So I want to game out.
00:02:23.000 It's like whack-a-mole.
00:02:24.000 We talked about this yesterday.
00:02:25.000 It's like whack-a-mole gaming out how the Democrats are going to game out the 2024 election.
00:02:32.000 And yet this week, I believe it was just yesterday, yes.
00:02:37.000 Trump pleaded not guilty.
00:02:40.000 All right.
00:02:40.000 He waived his arraignment, pled not guilty in Georgia in the election interference case.
00:02:45.000 Fanny Willis.
00:02:47.000 By the way, we have those Kiss My Fanny shirts at CharlieKirk.com.
00:02:53.000 Just follow the links to the store and you will be able to get them.
00:02:56.000 We had to restock.
00:02:57.000 They sold out.
00:02:57.000 Kiss My Fanny.
00:02:58.000 We also have American Rebel and a bunch of other things.
00:03:00.000 So check those out.
00:03:02.000 And by the way, we don't really do merch on the show a lot.
00:03:04.000 Maybe we will now.
00:03:05.000 I don't know.
00:03:05.000 But we think of these as walking billboards for the truth, for justice against a weaponized DOJ.
00:03:14.000 So normally it's not something we do, but you know, now we're all in.
00:03:17.000 It's like, hey, listen, if you're going to perp walk Trump, if you're going to make him get a mug shot, then guess what?
00:03:22.000 We're going to create billboards and you're going to have to face those billboards on the streets of real America with real supporters that defend this former president and potential future president.
00:03:34.000 But I want to talk about this live stream.
00:03:36.000 Is this the big boomerang?
00:03:38.000 Did they miscalculate because in their earnest to get Trump, in their earnest to disqualify him, dishonor him, humiliate him?
00:03:49.000 Was the mugshot just part one of the boomerang?
00:03:52.000 We saw that mugshot go everywhere.
00:03:55.000 It is now one of the most iconic images and will become one of the most iconic images in American history.
00:04:02.000 And we saw in the McLaughlin poll yesterday, it was the only poll that we've seen that's been taken post-indictment, post-mugshot.
00:04:11.000 We saw that his numbers look strong.
00:04:14.000 And even my contrarian producer, Blake, on this show, he said to me, he said, you know, honestly, his polling numbers look pretty good.
00:04:24.000 Lately, they've been trending in the right direction.
00:04:26.000 And very importantly, that same poll had Trump up 49.41 in the key battleground states.
00:04:35.000 So let's go ahead and play this clip.
00:04:36.000 181.
00:04:38.000 This is talking about how Fulton County is going to be televised.
00:04:43.000 If you think the mugshot was one thing, which it was, wait until the American public is subjected to a trial with a pool feed, which means all the networks will take it.
00:04:57.000 Watching the political persecution of a former United States president in real time.
00:05:03.000 Wait till you see that.
00:05:04.000 Play Cup 181.
00:05:06.000 Former President Trump officially has pled not guilty in the Fulton County election interference case.
00:05:11.000 Trump's team entered his plea yesterday for the 13 felony charges he faces, including racketeering and conspiracy.
00:05:18.000 The plea was entered in writing as they filed a waiver to tell the court he would not appear for next week's scheduled arraignment.
00:05:25.000 Former president's legal team also pushing to separate his case from the other co-defendants.
00:05:30.000 The filing argues October 23rd is not enough time to prepare a defense.
00:05:36.000 That date was set for the speedy trial of co-defendant Kenneth Cheesebrow.
00:05:40.000 D.A. Fonney Willis asked a judge last week to set that date for the remainder of the co-defendants as well.
00:05:46.000 When the trial date officially is set, there will be cameras in the courtroom.
00:05:50.000 That decision confirmed by the judge yesterday.
00:05:53.000 Hearings and proceedings related to the case will be televised and live streamed on the court's YouTube channel.
00:05:59.000 It's the first of its kind in the history of our country that a former president will be subjected to a court trial live stream, pool camera, YouTube feed, the whole shebang.
00:06:12.000 So let me take you down a little bit of memory row.
00:06:16.000 After Trump shocked the world in 2016, the legacy news media went on an apology tour saying, sorry, sorry, sorry for covering him.
00:06:25.000 We know we contributed to helping get elected, but it was inadvertent.
00:06:29.000 We didn't mean to.
00:06:30.000 We thought it was a clown show.
00:06:31.000 We just thought it was good for ratings.
00:06:34.000 And boy, was it good for ratings.
00:06:36.000 If you remember in 2016, the likes of CNN would cover these rallies ad nauseum.
00:06:42.000 It was the talk of the country, wall to wall.
00:06:47.000 And then Trump won.
00:06:48.000 And it changed everything.
00:06:51.000 And then Jeff Zucker from CNN started going on broadcast saying, you know what?
00:06:55.000 We made a mistake.
00:06:57.000 It was really, we're complicit in Hitler becoming president because we covered it because it was a good story.
00:07:03.000 We didn't think he had a shot, a snowball chance in hell to win, but he did.
00:07:09.000 And our bad, we're going to stop covering him.
00:07:12.000 And from that day, they never covered a rally.
00:07:15.000 They never gave him any fair coverage.
00:07:17.000 In fact, it was pushed to the brink of lunacy, probably well over it.
00:07:21.000 They colluded with deep state actors, the administrative state and Democrats to lie, slander, abuse him, and to ultimately impeach him and attempt to remove him from office.
00:07:33.000 But with each step, you could feel that they were nevertheless obsessed with Trump.
00:07:39.000 Trump, everything.
00:07:41.000 He was their obsession, like a scorned lover.
00:07:44.000 He was stalking them on Facebook.
00:07:47.000 They couldn't get enough, but yet they had their own rules and principles self-imposed where they were not allowed to cover him.
00:07:54.000 But guess what?
00:07:55.000 Now Fannie Willis has changed the game.
00:07:58.000 Now they are obligated journalistically, we use that in air quotes, to cover the first of its kind Trump trial of a former president on live TV being victimized, martyred before a weaponized judicial system, before millions and millions and millions of eyeballs through legacy media, through their pipes, their infrastructure.
00:08:24.000 They'll be forced to see it in real time.
00:08:27.000 What our nation has become, what they have subjected a former president to.
00:08:33.000 So yes, it's an injustice that he's even being tried.
00:08:35.000 Yes, it's wrong.
00:08:38.000 And yes, we don't exactly know how the voters are going to react, but there is very good evidence that the voters in the middle, the independents, the squishy Republicans that thought they hated Trump but could never pull the lever for him again.
00:08:51.000 Remember, he got 94% of Republicans.
00:08:54.000 Now you got Karl Rove going on Wall Street, the Wall Street Journal op-ed saying, listen, these trials are going to drag out and it's going to drag down his favorables and Republicans are going to bleed off.
00:09:05.000 Independents are going to bleed off.
00:09:06.000 He won about 48% of independents in 2020, according to the exit polls.
00:09:11.000 They think that number is going to go down.
00:09:12.000 They're calculating that a trial will not benefit Trump, but the mugshot proves differently.
00:09:19.000 The man on the street videos that we're seeing proved differently.
00:09:22.000 Some of these polls, like McLaughlin, say that momentum in the trend is, in fact, our friend.
00:09:28.000 And even Trump is catching wind of this.
00:09:30.000 He said, be careful what you wish for, Democrats.
00:09:34.000 Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.
00:09:36.000 Do you really want a televised trial before millions and millions of Americans that actually exposes you and the weaponization of America's judicial system?
00:09:49.000 Do you know that the average American spends about 20 years in retirement?
00:09:52.000 That's a long time to live without a steady income.
00:09:55.000 And we want to make sure you enjoy every moment of it and don't outlive your money.
00:09:58.000 Retirement is about more than just investments.
00:10:01.000 It's about living your best life.
00:10:03.000 Let's not retire.
00:10:04.000 Let's pivot.
00:10:05.000 My friends at PAX Financial, who I use for my wealth management future, develop a course for the sole purpose of helping you pivot.
00:10:13.000 If you want your own free guide to pivoting into the new chapter of life with purpose, visit paxfg.com/slash Charlie.
00:10:20.000 That is p-a-x-f-g.com/slash charlie, paxfg.com/slash Charlie.
00:10:29.000 I just want to keep building out this point.
00:10:31.000 I want to play back.
00:10:32.000 We're struggling to find the tape, by the way.
00:10:34.000 I actually wonder if it's been memory hold in some way.
00:10:38.000 But I remember it very, very well.
00:10:40.000 Article here from Politico, if you could throw that graphic up.
00:10:43.000 Campaign operatives blast Jeff Zucker over CNN coverage at Harvard event.
00:10:49.000 This is a political article from December 2016.
00:10:54.000 So just after Trump gets elected.
00:10:56.000 It says, all the Republican candidates were invited to come on, Zucker said.
00:10:59.000 Cable news in general, CNN in particular, should not be held responsible for the fact that Donald Trump said yes to those interviews.
00:11:06.000 Their point is this.
00:11:08.000 If you look at what they're actually saying in this article, he said, we recognize there was a little bit of phenomenon to Donald Trump, Zucker said, acknowledging that we did give him quite a bit of coverage.
00:11:17.000 If there was one thing he would change about their early coverage, Zucker repeated a sentiment he's made before, less unfiltered, nonstop streaming of Trump's early rallies.
00:11:27.000 We probably did put on too many of the campaign rallies in the early months unedited, Zucker said.
00:11:33.000 In hindsight, we probably shouldn't have done that as much.
00:11:37.000 That's him speaking at Harvard, where he was getting jeered at this event.
00:11:42.000 And other candidates were saying you were showing empty podiums of Trump events.
00:11:47.000 This is the Trump phenomenon.
00:11:49.000 This is the Trump phenomenon.
00:11:52.000 They can't help it.
00:11:54.000 Oh, here we go.
00:11:54.000 We got it.
00:11:55.000 189.
00:11:56.000 Play it.
00:11:57.000 I'd say that if we made a mistake last year, it's that we probably did put on too many of his campaign rallies in those early months, unedited, and just let them run.
00:12:14.000 You know, listen, because you never knew what he was going to say.
00:12:18.000 You never knew what was going to happen.
00:12:20.000 So there was an attraction to put those on the air.
00:12:24.000 And I think in hindsight, we probably shouldn't have done that as much.
00:12:28.000 Ooh.
00:12:29.000 You see, this is what I'm talking about.
00:12:32.000 When you put Trump in a position where anything could happen, anything could be said.
00:12:38.000 Does he take the stand?
00:12:40.000 Millions of Americans.
00:12:42.000 And by the way, here's Trump's crazy logic here.
00:12:45.000 He might take the stand knowing he's going to be convicted in a totally biased, very blue Fulton County, and believing that the merits of the case defend him, which they do.
00:12:55.000 Again, he was contesting an election that he felt was dishonest, that millions of Americans feel are dishonest.
00:13:02.000 And he was using a precedent set in Tilden v. Hayes in 1876, and then again in 1960 in Hawaii, and then again in 2000, Al Gore v. Bush.
00:13:12.000 He might just go up there and say, to hell with it.
00:13:15.000 I'm going to take the stand.
00:13:16.000 I'm going to say whatever the heck I want.
00:13:19.000 Those moments of unvarnished, candid Trump, even Jeff Zucker couldn't pass it up.
00:13:26.000 Even CNN couldn't pass it up.
00:13:28.000 They knew that it was a phenomenon.
00:13:30.000 Trump is a phenomenon.
00:13:33.000 Will this be the boomerang?
00:13:35.000 Have they miscalculated?
00:13:36.000 Have all of their whack-a-mole schemes, the 14th Amendment, the multiple indictments, the effort to prop up other Republican candidates.
00:13:49.000 The list literally goes on.
00:13:50.000 We made an entire list here.
00:13:55.000 Special Counsel David Weiss appointed to slow walk the Hunter Biden investigation.
00:14:01.000 COVID-19, climate crisis.
00:14:04.000 What are they going to throw at it?
00:14:06.000 The government being mobilized as a get-out-the-vote arm of the Democrat Party.
00:14:11.000 All of these different things are being thrown at Trump.
00:14:14.000 And here's their strategy.
00:14:16.000 They're like a hedge fund or a venture capitalist.
00:14:19.000 They don't necessarily know which investments are going to have a return, but they look at it and they say, listen, if I can get one or two to pop off big and the other 10 are dogs, then we still are going to win this thing.
00:14:33.000 However, if you lose the House on one, it could wipe out all your gains elsewhere.
00:14:40.000 And that's what they might be doing.
00:14:42.000 They might be overplaying.
00:14:44.000 I think it's a very, very real possibility because Trump is a phenomenon.
00:14:50.000 He's unlike anything we've ever seen.
00:14:54.000 Do you get the feeling that something bad is going to happen soon?
00:14:57.000 Well, I do.
00:14:57.000 But between the distractions and smoke screens in the media, we probably won't see it coming.
00:15:01.000 That's why it's smart to invest in emergency food right away.
00:15:05.000 As they say, it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

00:15:51.000 Excellent company.
00:15:52.000 Preparewithkirk.com.
00:15:56.000 We're going to have Benny Johnson join us.
00:15:58.000 He did an incredible Man on the Street video out of Nashville, which by the way, Nashville is not some, is not some Republican stronghold.
00:16:07.000 Yes, Tennessee is red, but Nashville is very mixed.
00:16:10.000 It's maybe 60, 55, 45.
00:16:12.000 I don't know.
00:16:12.000 Blake can dig up the exact numbers.
00:16:14.000 It's definitely a mixed bag.
00:16:16.000 And Benny went out and asked the question: Does the mug shot, do the indictments, do they help Trump?
00:16:21.000 Do they make you more likely to vote Trump or less likely to vote Trump?
00:16:24.000 Very fascinating stuff.
00:16:25.000 Ties into exactly what we're talking about here in hour one.
00:16:28.000 But while we wait for Benny, I want to play this clip.
00:16:31.000 Now, this clip is involving John Thomas.
00:16:35.000 He is the founder and president of Thomas Partner Strategy, a full-service Republican media strategy crisis comms firm.
00:16:42.000 So he was the guy who founded the DeSantis Super PAC.
00:16:46.000 Okay, now let's go ahead and play cut 190 and get his unvarnished opinion on News Nation.
00:16:51.000 Oftentimes the main skills you need are ability to raise money and roll television ads.
00:16:56.000 When you run for president, yes, of course that's important, but retail politicking, charisma, charm, discipline, being able to conduct yourself in a likable manner on television interviews, those are all equal, if not more important, than your ability to roll the TV ads.
00:17:13.000 And DeSantis just hasn't had it.
00:17:15.000 And DeSantis has not had it.
00:17:19.000 He hasn't had it.
00:17:20.000 Now, listen, I like DeSantis.
00:17:22.000 Again, I think he's America's greatest governor.
00:17:24.000 I will repeat the same thing that Charlie says.
00:17:27.000 I think he's fantastic.
00:17:28.000 He's been amazing in Florida.
00:17:29.000 With all this hurricane stuff, he's saying, if you loot, we shoot.
00:17:32.000 I love that stuff.
00:17:33.000 Absolutely.
00:17:34.000 Back to basics.
00:17:36.000 But running for the presidency is something completely different.
00:17:42.000 National retail politics has not been his forte.
00:17:46.000 And that's the problem.
00:17:48.000 But Trump has it.
00:17:50.000 Trump has the X factor.
00:17:52.000 And what the Democrats are inadvertently doing, perhaps, is putting him on the biggest stage imaginable.
00:18:01.000 And the cameras they turned off after 2016, they're about to turn him back on.
00:18:07.000 So we're working to get Benny right back up.
00:18:09.000 He should be coming in just a second.
00:18:11.000 But let me preview some of Benny's man on the street.
00:18:16.000 Let's play Cut 185.
00:18:17.000 Who are you going for in 2024 election?
00:18:19.000 Even though I have a Bud Light Trump.
00:18:28.000 The plane starts dripping and falling.
00:18:32.000 Like, come on, man.
00:18:33.000 That man's too damn oh, he's a city season.
00:18:36.000 We need to be talking about Jello in senior citizen homes with his.
00:18:41.000 You know, I think it really is promoting his brand, you know, because they're, you know, if you really want something to go away, you would just ignore it.
00:18:48.000 So they're coming at him so hard.
00:18:51.000 Do not come.
00:18:52.000 I'm going to come.
00:18:56.000 That is a, for those, for the unaffiliated, that is, that is Benny Johnson's signature style in a nutshell.
00:19:04.000 And by the way, that was the juxtaposition of those two clips is fantastic.
00:19:10.000 One of them was actually at a Turning Point USA event where Trump says, I'm going to come.
00:19:16.000 He's just Trump being Trump.
00:19:18.000 A perfect clip that makes us laugh all the time.
00:19:20.000 All right, we've got Benny Johnson.
00:19:21.000 Benny Johnson, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:19:23.000 Well, of course, Andrew Colvett, guest hosting.
00:19:26.000 How you doing, my friend?
00:19:28.000 Oh, man.
00:19:29.000 You guys got to use StreamYard.
00:19:30.000 Stop with these Microsoft products.
00:19:32.000 Bill Gates hates us.
00:19:33.000 Oh, well, there we go.
00:19:36.000 Doesn't want us to be able to broadcast.
00:19:37.000 This is Bill Gates.
00:19:38.000 I'm telling you, there's a Bill Gates conspiracy.
00:19:41.000 Bing, Microsoft, they hate us.
00:19:43.000 Betty, tell me about this man on the street video.
00:19:45.000 What inspired it?
00:19:47.000 What did you find out?
00:19:48.000 I want everything.
00:19:49.000 We've got a bunch of clips from it that I want to get to as well.
00:19:52.000 We went to Nashville and we asked people, Trump mugshot make you want to vote for Trump more or less.
00:19:56.000 And I could not find a single person.
00:19:58.000 I mean, I'm telling you, I couldn't find a single individual.
00:20:00.000 And we talked to dozens of people who said, no, no, I don't.
00:20:04.000 You turn him into Tupac.
00:20:06.000 Makes me not want to vote for him.
00:20:07.000 Like, you know, now that he's a gangster, now that he's an icon, and you can see, of course, Donald Trump up in the studio here, we have the mugshot printed off in a giant poster-size wall mounting with a parental advisory sticker on it.
00:20:21.000 You turn a man into an icon.
00:20:22.000 It's the most viewed image in world history, Elon Musk on X, that it's been viewed 10 million times per hour.
00:20:32.000 10 million views per hour.
00:20:33.000 Huh?
00:20:34.000 Like, dude, bro.
00:20:35.000 So, what you've done is, again, you've turned him into a legend.
00:20:37.000 Chris Rock predicted this.
00:20:38.000 You turn him, you're going to turn him into Tupac, and he's going to sell more records.
00:20:41.000 And he did.
00:20:42.000 And so we went to the streets and we said, What is, you know, what is it?
00:20:45.000 Does this make you want to vote for Trump or not want to vote for Trump?
00:20:49.000 And even Democrats, there's this homie from Rhode Island.
00:20:52.000 Even Democrats were like, I'll vote for Trump because of the mugshot.
00:20:56.000 You've seen a lot of that.
00:20:57.000 Like, this guy is like, I don't want to vote for Trump, but I'm going to vote for Trump because his mugshot is base.
00:21:03.000 All right, let's play 186.
00:21:06.000 These are some of the candid responses that you got on the street in Nashville.
00:21:10.000 186.
00:21:11.000 Who are you going for in 2024?
00:21:13.000 Trump, baby.
00:21:14.000 24.
00:21:14.000 Oh, Trump.
00:21:15.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:21:16.000 Oh, Trump all the way.
00:21:18.000 Well, I'm going to have to say Trump.
00:21:20.000 I'll choose Trump, then I'll choose DeSantis.
00:21:22.000 Make America great again.
00:21:28.000 Trump.
00:21:29.000 Trump.
00:21:31.000 I mean, do you think it's going to be Trump and Biden again?
00:21:33.000 If those are the candidates, I don't know.
00:21:35.000 I would have to go to Trump.
00:21:37.000 What a stupid song.
00:21:41.000 That was the Democrat.
00:21:42.000 The guy with the red, the guy with the ginger beard.
00:21:43.000 Oh, was it?
00:21:45.000 That was not Oliver Anthony.
00:21:46.000 That was not Oliver Anthony.
00:21:47.000 I've got another clip of that guy, actually.
00:21:49.000 I'll get to it.
00:21:50.000 Okay, I got to ask, but did you rig this video?
00:21:52.000 Did you rig it?
00:21:55.000 No proportion.
00:21:56.000 What were the proportions?
00:21:57.000 I have, dude.
00:21:58.000 Okay, so I have a witness.
00:22:00.000 I literally have a witness.
00:22:01.000 I'm going to pull him in.
00:22:02.000 Rolls Royce, my director of photography, is right here sitting next to me.
00:22:07.000 And he, Royce, come here.
00:22:10.000 Rolls Royce was sitting next to me.
00:22:11.000 He's a good, honest, young Christian man.
00:22:13.000 He would never lie.
00:22:14.000 He's never lied before.
00:22:15.000 Royce, did we rig those responses?
00:22:18.000 No, not at all.
00:22:19.000 Did we rig them?
00:22:20.000 No, not at all.
00:22:21.000 Super authentic.
00:22:22.000 They were just out there walking around, drinking beers.
00:22:25.000 They just, they just, they just wanted to talk.
00:22:27.000 And they definitely.
00:22:28.000 Did we find a single person that's like, yeah, Biden?
00:22:30.000 Not at all.
00:22:31.000 None.
00:22:33.000 And we were out there for like three hours, Andrew.
00:22:36.000 All right.
00:22:36.000 So, Betty, I think this is one final thing.
00:22:39.000 Nashville, while it is in a red state, it is a melting pot for everyone.
00:22:43.000 You've been to Nashville.
00:22:44.000 Like, there are plenty of people.
00:22:45.000 Everyone travels to Nashville, right?
00:22:47.000 So whilst while Tennessee is a red state, this is not like going out in the middle of Midland, Texas.
00:22:52.000 Like, especially Broadway is a place for many people to come, all the country fans and everything.
00:22:56.000 Like, it's not necessarily like super dark red area.
00:23:00.000 In fact, Nashville itself is a very blue city in a Democrat city.
00:23:04.000 So pretty wild.
00:23:06.000 You're 100% right.
00:23:07.000 And we were getting you loaded.
00:23:08.000 I made the same point.
00:23:09.000 I mean, this is, I was just curious.
00:23:12.000 I mean, because this video is confirming a lot of things we're seeing kind of at the macro level, right?
00:23:17.000 And we started the show talking about the Trump boomerang, right?
00:23:20.000 So Fannie Willis is about to put Trump in front of tens, maybe hundreds of millions of eyeballs, watching him get politically persecuted, live streamed, the first ever of its kind trial involving a former president.
00:23:34.000 He's going to be martyred and become the victim.
00:23:37.000 And now, I love Trump, but Trump's not easily, it's not a natural connection to think, oh, you're the victim, Trump.
00:23:44.000 I feel bad for you.
00:23:45.000 They have just turned one of the most alpha males on planet Earth into a victim, and now they're going to live stream it to the world.
00:23:52.000 And we're seeing McLaughlin, the poll says in Battleground States, Trump is up 49.41 potentially.
00:23:57.000 Now, I'm not going to hang my hat on one poll, but it's the first that we've seen post-mugshot.
00:24:02.000 Benny, is this what you're seeing in the macro or are there cracks in the foundation that we need to be watching out for?
00:24:10.000 So, less than a victim, because nobody really, I mean, yes, certainly a victim, but like I would say less than a victim because you don't think of like Donald Trump as a billionaire as necessarily a victim person.
00:24:22.000 He has all these buildings with his names on.
00:24:24.000 I would say more like Nostradamus, like more like somebody who predicted the future and told you that a system was rigged and that it was rigged against you.
00:24:32.000 And that feeling you have in the back of your gut that you just can't get ahead because there is a system that is rigged against you for Americans of all stripes, whether you're from the rest belt or whether you're from the urban inner city.
00:24:46.000 That's going to suddenly ring true when they realize that Donald Trump's billions and his political connections won't protect him from that exact same system.
00:24:54.000 And so, I would say that it's more of Donald Trump being proven correct in his political rhetoric over the last decades.
00:25:02.000 And now, finally, people are, you know, it's starting to, people are starting to crack.
00:25:06.000 We went thermonuclear viral out of a clip that was posted from some homie who's just like walked onto the street in his neighborhood in what looks like a quite poor neighborhood of Atlanta.
00:25:18.000 And there are plenty who are desperate for law and order, who are desperate for some hope and something in the future.
00:25:24.000 People just pouring onto the streets, cheering for Trump as he goes by, saying free Trump, saying Fanny Dunn effed up.
00:25:33.000 You know, how are you going to combat that?
00:25:36.000 How are you going to fix that messaging?
00:25:38.000 You're not.
00:25:39.000 Johnny Cash has a mugshot.
00:25:41.000 Prince has a mug shot.
00:25:43.000 The biggest punk rockers in the world have mugshots.
00:25:45.000 The biggest outlaws have mugshots.
00:25:47.000 And now people want an outlaw president.
00:25:49.000 And it's going to resonate.
00:25:51.000 I totally agree.
00:25:52.000 I think this, I'm not sure if this is the clip you're talking about, but go ahead and play 41.
00:25:56.000 You want to know why I'm here to support President Trump?
00:25:58.000 Because they don't be a black men like this for decades, make up charges and put on.
00:26:02.000 So I know Trump is innocent.
00:26:04.000 I support Trump against this corrupt two-tiered justice system.
00:26:09.000 What do you think about the indictments?
00:26:10.000 Oh, it's a bunch of bullshit.
00:26:12.000 It's going around the country.
00:26:13.000 You know, Fanny Willis, she's a, she went to school with my sister.
00:26:17.000 She full of shit was full of shit.
00:26:19.000 So she's a puppet for the white liberal that is controlling everything.
00:26:24.000 She's in front, but the white liberal back there pulling those strings telling her what to do.
00:26:28.000 Do you think it's going to help his election?
00:26:30.000 Of course it is.
00:26:31.000 Of course it's going to help him, Benny.
00:26:33.000 We pulled that from your Instagram, I believe.
00:26:36.000 Benny, now the black vote for the Republicans, it's been like this white whale, right?
00:26:41.000 The white, no pun intended.
00:26:43.000 It has been something that we have long said we're going to get.
00:26:47.000 We're not supposed to be talking about Chris Christie.
00:26:50.000 Yeah.
00:26:51.000 Yes.
00:26:52.000 But is this a pipe dream?
00:26:54.000 I mean, or does this literally change the equation?
00:26:58.000 Yeah.
00:26:58.000 One minute.
00:26:59.000 Of course it changed the equation.
00:27:00.000 Of course it changed the equation.
00:27:01.000 Chris Rock stood in front of a very hoity-toity audience at the Kennedy Center months ago and said, you're really going to put him in prison?
00:27:08.000 You're going to turn him into Tupac.
00:27:09.000 He's going to sell more records.
00:27:10.000 You're going to give the man a mug shot?
00:27:12.000 Now it's the most iconic image in America.
00:27:16.000 And possibly world history.
00:27:20.000 You can't really, there's not a word in the English language, maybe, maybe somewhere in German, to actually personify what they've done here.
00:27:27.000 The backlash is going to be immense.
00:27:29.000 And you've turned him into the American gangster.
00:27:30.000 You turn him into an American outlaw president.
00:27:32.000 And people like an outlaw in this country.
00:27:35.000 Ironically enough, our top-selling t-shirt with the mugshot is American Rebel mugshot and Trump signature.
00:27:43.000 The thing that we can't keep it stocked.
00:27:47.000 Benny, I want to play the good and the bad.
00:27:50.000 I want you to be as brutally honest as you can.
00:27:53.000 All right.
00:27:54.000 I'm going to throw up 191 right now.
00:27:56.000 This is a Trump truth that he just put up.
00:27:58.000 He said, these indictments and lawsuits are all part of my political opponent's campaign plan.
00:28:05.000 It is an election interference, and they're going to use the DOJ FBI to help them, which is illegal.
00:28:10.000 Crooked Joe pushes this litigation hard to get it done.
00:28:14.000 He's talking about there's a conspiracy, there's collusion is what he's saying.
00:28:18.000 This is a new low in presidential politics to the Democrats.
00:28:21.000 I say, be careful what you wish for.
00:28:25.000 Okay, Benny, good and bad.
00:28:27.000 Now, this is kind of what we're talking about.
00:28:28.000 Be careful what you wish for.
00:28:29.000 This might boomerang on you, Democrats.
00:28:31.000 Of all the attack vectors that you can see on the landscape, what do you think poses the biggest threat to Donald Trump?
00:28:39.000 And what do you think will boomerang the most?
00:28:41.000 I think we've talked about it.
00:28:42.000 Maybe it's this live stream, the mugshot.
00:28:44.000 What do you think poses the biggest threat?
00:28:46.000 Honest.
00:28:48.000 Yeah, so careful what you wish for.
00:28:50.000 You just might get it is something that my grandmother used to always say.
00:28:53.000 And Democrats have learned this, actually.
00:28:56.000 Far be it for me to come on this program and paraphrase Mitch McConnell in a complimentary fashion.
00:29:01.000 But here we go.
00:29:02.000 Back when Mitch McConnell was able to speak, Mitch McConnell would say things like, you're going to regret blowing up the filibuster in the Senate.
00:29:11.000 And he was right.
00:29:13.000 When they blew up the filibuster for judicial nominees, Mitch McConnell predicted that they would get a Republican Supreme Court.
00:29:18.000 And indeed, that is exactly what happened.
00:29:21.000 The reason why you have the feisty, estrogen, and cortisol-filled Merrick Garland at the DOJ is because he's not on the Supreme Court.
00:29:29.000 And so they learned the hard way that actually their goblin-like marches towards power do actually have horrible consequences.
00:29:41.000 Andrew, you're a parent.
00:29:42.000 I'm a parent of young children.
00:29:43.000 You have to have consequences in order to prove a point.
00:29:46.000 And well, they got the Clarence Thomas Supreme Court.
00:29:48.000 So fast forward to today, what I think they're going to learn is that the American people don't like living under communist regimes.
00:29:54.000 They don't like the persecution of their political enemies.
00:29:58.000 They see directly through all of this and that Donald Trump, again, is starting to lead polls like in a commanding and dominant sense.
00:30:08.000 Now, the biggest problem for Donald Trump is obviously going to be those same people, Mitch McConnell.
00:30:14.000 So we start with Mitch McConnell quote.
00:30:15.000 We'll end with a Mitch McConnell quote.
00:30:17.000 Mitch McConnell, obviously, being operated by a wing of the Republican Party that despised Donald Trump for the same reason Democrats despise Donald Trump.
00:30:22.000 He removes power from them.
00:30:25.000 He evaporates power from them.
00:30:26.000 All of DC is simply a big club that is united against you, the American people, whether you're a Democrat or a Republican.
00:30:33.000 And there are plenty of Republicans who are part of that club.
00:30:36.000 Republicans, I hate actually more than Democrats, because Democrats will stab me in the face, Republicans will stab me in the back.
00:30:42.000 And these Republicans are trying to stab Donald Trump in the back.
00:30:45.000 You see this in Georgia, obviously.
00:30:47.000 The prosecutor could be removed.
00:30:48.000 Multiple prosecutors have been removed here in the state of Florida because they're Soros-funded prosecutors who are defying Florida law.
00:30:55.000 Brian Kemp could immediately remove and support the removal of Fannie Willis, but he won't do it.
00:31:00.000 And the reason he won't do it is because they view Donald Trump as a threat to their power.
00:31:04.000 And so Republicans are uniting once more, a select wing of Republicans, quote unquote.
00:31:10.000 We call it the Uniparty.
00:31:11.000 We call it the machine.
00:31:12.000 And they are uniting against Donald Trump.
00:31:14.000 And that I believe is probably Donald Trump's greatest weakness is his own party sabotaging him, which is, again, precisely what they did throughout all of Donald Trump's presidency.
00:31:25.000 We were just in Yuma, Arizona.
00:31:27.000 Final thing I'll say on this, we were just in Yuma, Arizona, and saw the giant gaps in Donald Trump's wall.
00:31:31.000 The reason why those gaps exist are because of Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan, not because of Democrats.
00:31:37.000 They were cowards and couldn't get the funding for the wall.
00:31:39.000 Meanwhile, they sent $200 billion to Ukraine.
00:31:42.000 I think you're right, Benny.
00:31:43.000 I actually think what gives credence to the attack vectors of the left is actually that you see buy-in from people on the right.
00:31:51.000 We always seem to have traitors on the right.
00:31:54.000 You look at this 14th Amendment.
00:31:56.000 I think it was like basically a trial balloon.
00:31:58.000 They were floating the idea.
00:31:59.000 Could you remove Trump from the ballot and you have Arizona and other states saying, hey, we can't legally do this.
00:32:05.000 New Hampshire is backed off.
00:32:06.000 This audience right here flooded the switchboard on Monday and all these stories went national.
00:32:12.000 But what gives them credence, this 14th Amendment, though, by the way, remember, it was two Federalist scholars that created the first legal brief, the legal review paper, law review paper, that started this whole train.
00:32:25.000 Now that's losing momentum, but you are so right.
00:32:28.000 It's the traitors that stab you in the back that will probably pose the most threat to Donald Trump heading into 2024.
00:32:35.000 Benny, we're out of time.
00:32:37.000 I don't know how that went so quickly, but you are doing phenomenal work, my friend.
00:32:41.000 Thank you for the analysis.
00:32:43.000 Excellent as always.
00:32:44.000 Everybody, give Benny Johnson a follow across social media.
00:32:47.000 He's blowing up everywhere.
00:32:48.000 Benny's everywhere right now.
00:32:50.000 Thank you, Benny.
00:32:50.000 We appreciate it.
00:32:54.000 Thanks so much for tuning in, everybody.
