00:01:07.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:10.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:19.000 Okay, Kevin McCarthy is out as speaker.
00:01:21.000 We could examine that for a full hour.
00:01:23.000 What went right?
00:01:24.000 What went wrong?
00:01:25.000 The entire Democrat Party said we want Kevin out, and eight Republicans said we want Kevin out.
00:01:30.000 So the whole Democrat Party, eight Republicans, they want Kevin out.
00:01:33.000 But we don't have time to examine that as much as we probably should.
00:01:36.000 Never happened before in American history.
00:01:39.000 Front page of the New York Times, McCarthy, first speaker out ever.
00:01:43.000 Now, there's plenty of melodrama to examine, but this is worth talking about.
00:01:47.000 This only happened because there were promises made about appropriation bills, appropriation votes, and continuing resolutions that were not kept.
00:01:56.000 We, on this program, we said 9:30, 9.30, 9.30, 9.30.
00:02:01.000 I think our show was one of the few shows that really increased the attention on 9.30.
00:02:08.000 The grassroots, we're not just looking at this as a typical spending fight.
00:02:12.000 9.30 was a line in the sand.
00:02:15.000 And I remember in the weeks leading up to 9.30, you know, I was texting some more moderate members of Congress, like, I don't think you guys understand the grassroots of taking 9.30 very seriously.
00:02:24.000 This is not a time just to ignore it.
00:02:26.000 This is not a time just to cast aside.
00:02:28.000 And they thought they could do the typical Washington, D.C. thing.
00:02:32.000 And they did.
00:02:32.000 45-day CR.
00:02:34.000 Chuck Schumer celebrates it.
00:02:35.000 Pelosi celebrates it.
00:02:37.000 Biden signs it, which was a gut punch after there was massive disappointment with the debt ceiling bill, massive disappointment.
00:02:45.000 And we don't get those kind of 12 appropriation bills.
00:02:48.000 We got nothing.
00:02:49.000 We got zero.
00:02:49.000 We got nothing.
00:02:51.000 And so then all of a sudden, it was as if all bets were off, right?
00:02:55.000 Matt Gates says, I'm going to do a motion to vacate.
00:02:57.000 People didn't believe him.
00:02:58.000 And then boom, he called the bluff.
00:03:00.000 Yesterday, the vote occurred.
00:03:01.000 And Kevin McCarthy, first speaker in American history to be vacated.
00:03:05.000 The chair is vacated.
00:03:06.000 There is no speaker.
00:03:08.000 There's a speaker pro tem, bow tie man, Patrick McHenry.
00:03:11.000 I kind of like the guy.
00:03:12.000 He kicked Nancy Pelosi out of her office yesterday, her hideaway office.
00:03:15.000 Why we didn't do that the first day we took over Congress is a little strange to me.
00:03:20.000 But we have to move very fast because we could examine what went right, what went wrong.
00:03:25.000 Here is a fact.
00:03:25.000 We're on very risky ground right now.
00:03:27.000 We are in a risky, let's just say, environment.
00:03:30.000 This could go really well.
00:03:32.000 We could get a much better speaker.
00:03:33.000 We could get a more conservative speaker or we could get a worse speaker.
00:03:38.000 There is no guarantees.
00:03:39.000 I'm going to prove it to you.
00:03:40.000 The Democrats voting to remove McCarthy means that they see an opening.
00:03:44.000 They see a window to get a uniparty speaker, to get someone that could unite both the Republicans and the Democrats and get rid of all the investigations and the weaponization of government.
00:03:54.000 They wouldn't get Hakeem Jeffries, but somebody like Don Bacon or Dusty Johnson or have two speakers, like a co-speaker type relationship.
00:04:01.000 So we have to make sure that doesn't happen.
00:04:03.000 That's a risk.
00:04:04.000 I'm not saying it's a guarantee, but there's also an opening where we could get a rock star.
00:04:08.000 So let's start with the most obvious one.
00:04:10.000 People are saying we have to have Donald Trump as Speaker of the House.
00:04:13.000 I think that would be awesome, but it's also not realistic.
00:04:16.000 There are going to be 15 to 20 people in the House Republican conference that will not vote for Donald Trump as Speaker of the House.
00:04:22.000 First of all, there are 18 Republicans in the House conference that are in Biden districts that do not like Trump.
00:04:28.000 And then let me also just mention a friend of the show, Chip Roy.
00:04:31.000 He endorsed Ron DeSantis and goes around the country raising money for Ron DeSantis.
00:04:35.000 Chip Roy is not going to go help Donald Trump become Speaker of the House.
00:04:39.000 And I could go through the list from there.
00:04:41.000 Now, should Donald Trump maybe tease it, introduce his name?
00:04:44.000 I think that would be fun.
00:04:45.000 I think it would be interesting, but time is too precious here.
00:04:48.000 This is not a PR stunt.
00:04:49.000 Now, Trump is saying he's open-minded to do whatever it is to help, but we need to count the votes, get a good conservative speaker in because time is running out.
00:04:58.000 This is not January where we have a little bit, oh, we have, you know, 10 months.
00:05:02.000 We are already expiring this Congress.
00:05:05.000 And I'm going to also show to you: we have to start recruiting candidates and raising money, or else we're going to lose the House for a generation.
00:05:11.000 That's another risk.
00:05:12.000 I'm not a guarantee.
00:05:13.000 We have to get a strong conservative, someone who wants to travel every single day.
00:05:17.000 Say what you will about Kevin McCarthy.
00:05:18.000 The guy was a workhorse.
00:05:20.000 He traveled the country, went to districts, recruited candidates.
00:05:23.000 They weren't conservative enough for me, raised a bunch of money.
00:05:25.000 You have to do that if you want to be Speaker of the House, aka compete with the Democrats.
00:05:30.000 $300 million.
00:05:32.000 Just so we're clear, you have to raise $300 million from this point forward to Election Day in next November.
00:05:38.000 So that's a real thing.
00:05:39.000 You might say, oh, Charlie, it doesn't matter.
00:05:40.000 No, that actually really does matter.
00:05:41.000 So it's not impossible, but whoever is going to be the next Speaker of the House has to dedicate all their time.
00:05:46.000 They're never going to be home.
00:05:47.000 They're never going to see their wife.
00:05:48.000 They're never going to see their kids.
00:05:49.000 It is 330 days on the road, ready, set, go, now to next November, going to Malibu, going to LA, going to Houston, going to Dallas, donor roundtable meetings, collecting checks so that we can hopefully keep the House in 2025, whoever that speaker is.
00:06:05.000 Okay, so let's just kind of put Trump aside for a second.
00:06:08.000 The votes aren't there for that as much as I would love it.
00:06:10.000 And I think it would be hilarious.
00:06:13.000 Was John Quincy Adams ever Speaker of the House?
00:06:15.000 I don't think so, Blake, right?
00:06:17.000 I don't think there's ever been a president-speaker of the House combo.
00:06:19.000 I know there's been a president-Congress combo.
00:06:21.000 John Quincy Adams was president and then became a member of Congress.
00:06:24.000 I don't think he became Speaker of the House, though.
00:06:26.000 I don't think there's ever been both, unless I'm missing something.
00:06:30.000 Okay, number two, people say, Well, how about Chip Roy for Speaker of the House?
00:06:33.000 He's hated by half the conference, so that's not going to happen.
00:06:35.000 Then people say, Nancy Mace, that's a bad idea.
00:06:38.000 Do not do that.
00:06:39.000 Okay, Nancy Mace, bad idea.
00:06:42.000 Do not do that.
00:06:43.000 She voted to put Steve Bannon in federal prison effectively.
00:06:47.000 Okay.
00:06:48.000 Byron Donalds, another name that's floated.
00:06:50.000 Good idea.
00:06:51.000 I don't think he can unite the tribes.
00:06:54.000 Oh, James Polk was the only speaker to ever become president.
00:06:56.000 Thank you, Blake.
00:06:57.000 Blake GPT.
00:06:58.000 Thank you.
00:06:59.000 But then there's the name that I think is the most realistic.
00:07:02.000 Here's what we must realize and understand: Kevin McCarthy is no longer speaker, but Kevin McCarthy is not powerless.
00:07:11.000 You see, Kevin was exhausted.
00:07:14.000 Kevin had to deal with the spending fights.
00:07:16.000 He had to deal with all this.
00:07:16.000 And by the way, I'm not defending him.
00:07:18.000 I'm just saying he was just like, enough.
00:07:20.000 I've had enough.
00:07:21.000 And you know who he was looking at?
00:07:23.000 And he said, huh, that's a pretty good gig.
00:07:27.000 The power behind the throne without actually having to be on the throne.
00:07:31.000 Nancy Pelosi.
00:07:33.000 Kevin McCarthy looked at Nancy Pelosi, was like, former speaker, raises a bunch of money, kind of has a nice gig going.
00:07:42.000 So Kevin McCarthy still controls 100 to 150 votes of who the next speaker is going to be.
00:07:48.000 And you better believe that Kevin McCarthy is going to exert his will on there.
00:07:52.000 So you might say, oh, you know, Kevin's out of the picture.
00:07:54.000 He's out of the picture if the speaker is.
00:07:55.000 So, whoever's going to be speaker has to be friends or friendly with Kevin McCarthy and his allies because there are 150 members at this Congress conference that will do whatever Kevin tells them to do, even after he has now been displaced as speaker.
00:08:08.000 I'm talking about the Bacon, the Dusty Johnson.
00:08:10.000 You need Kevin's support.
00:08:12.000 Some people are floating out Scalise and Emmer.
00:08:14.000 Bad idea, too moderate.
00:08:16.000 There's only one person that comes to mind that wants to be speaker, can be speaker, has the energy to raise the $300 million, has been conservative, has been a bulldog, has been a grassroots warrior, and I think can get Kevin's support because he was loyal to Kevin throughout that entire January thing, and also can get the support of Gates and Good and Ana Paulina, and that's Jim Jordan.
00:08:39.000 That is the only name that surfaces that can unite the tribes.
00:08:42.000 He was able to, he can get Kevin's blessing.
00:08:47.000 He will be able to satisfy the donor class.
00:08:50.000 And I don't even mean that as a pejorative, but you need to raise money.
00:08:53.000 If you want to have political power, you need to raise money.
00:08:55.000 Jim Jordan is an unapologetic Trump supporter.
00:08:58.000 He's articulate.
00:08:58.000 He's smart.
00:08:59.000 He's been around for a while.
00:09:00.000 The media hates him, and he's got a ton of energy.
00:09:04.000 If you cannot have a low-energy speaker, I mean, Tom Emmer, not exactly someone that I think is able to get through a CrossFit routine.
00:09:11.000 Jim Jordan, the guy's a stud, former wrestler.
00:09:15.000 He works out.
00:09:16.000 I mean, like, you need to be able to do 20-hour days, seven days a week for the next 300 days.
00:09:21.000 That's not some sort of like talking point.
00:09:23.000 This job destroys you physically.
00:09:26.000 And Jim Jordan went to bat for Kevin in the fight yesterday and defended him from the floor yesterday, which Jim Jordan might have been playing the long game.
00:09:34.000 Breaking news this morning: Jim Jordan has now introduced his name to become the next Speaker of the House.
00:09:39.000 I think this is great.
00:09:40.000 I've known him for a while.
00:09:42.000 He's come on the show.
00:09:43.000 He has spoken at a lot of our events, talking to sources in all sorts of different camps.
00:09:48.000 Because I still, you know, I'm still friends with some of the moderates.
00:09:50.000 They say, you know what?
00:09:51.000 I could live with Jim Jordan.
00:09:52.000 And it's going to come down to whether or not Kevin McCarthy blesses Jim Jordan and says, my block goes behind Jim Jordan.
00:10:00.000 I already know that Gates and Good and Biggs and Roy and Paulina Luna and all those patriots over there, they're going to be fine with Jim Jordan a speaker.
00:10:11.000 So we have to move fast because here's the problem.
00:10:13.000 If we have too much cattle walling and quarreling, it might be entertaining, but Hakeem Jeffries and the Democrats voted to get rid of Kevin because they saw a small chance that we are going to have some sort of civil war discord and that they could get a uniparty speaker.
00:10:29.000 We can't let that happen.
00:10:30.000 We have to find a consensus candidate.
00:10:31.000 We have to unify immediately, beachhead, hyper-aggressive behind a grassroots warrior who has earned our trust and can also get the moderate votes.
00:10:40.000 And that man is Jim Jordan.
00:10:43.000 Strong cell is amazing.
00:10:45.000 I got to tell you, the combination of NADH, CoQ10, and collagen is really something.
00:10:51.000 You know, people ask me, they say, Charlie, how do you keep your energy up?
00:10:54.000 How do you just keep on pushing?
00:10:55.000 Look, part of it is diet nutrition, but I'll be honest, I take supplements really seriously.
00:11:01.000 Fact check me on this.
00:11:02.000 You can say, oh, Charlie, I'm going to fact-check you.
00:11:04.000 Type this into your search engine: NADH.
00:11:08.000 Just type it in.
00:11:09.000 What does it tell you?
00:11:10.000 It might tell you that it is the secret to living long, anti-aging properties, more energy.
00:11:15.000 Well, all of that is being proven in more and more clinical trials.
00:11:18.000 NADH is a precursor so that your mitochondria can remain healthy and vibrant.
00:11:24.000 The elites, a lot of billionaires, people, a lot of money, they spend a ton of money on NAD.
00:11:28.000 It's a fact.
00:11:29.000 NAD just might be your secret weapon for more energy.
00:11:32.000 I take NAD every single day.
00:11:35.000 I could tell you that NADH, compared with CoQ10, the trials show very, very good things on it.
00:11:41.000 Don't take my word for it.
00:11:42.000 I mean, honestly, my word should be good for something, but fact-check me.
00:11:45.000 Look at it.
00:11:46.000 And if you do it over 30 days, you'll see an increase in energy.
00:11:48.000 I wake up better than ever before.
00:11:51.000 NAD can help you potentially, again, fact check me on this with depression, anxiety, other issues that you might be dealing with.
00:11:58.000 It is nature's gift to you so that you might have extra energy and mental clarity.
00:12:03.000 You guys can use promo code Charlie for 20% off.
00:12:05.000 It's strongsell.com/slash Charlie.
00:12:08.000 NAD might be nature's secret weapon for you.
00:12:13.000 I love it.
00:12:14.000 I take it every single day.
00:12:15.000 Try to try it for at least 30 days to see the maximum benefit.
00:12:19.000 And let me know.
00:12:20.000 Has NAD helped your life?
00:12:21.000 Strongsell.com/slash Charlie.
00:12:23.000 Check it out.
00:12:24.000 Strongsell.com/slash Charlie.
00:12:29.000 Overwhelmingly positive for Jim Jordan for speaker.
00:12:32.000 Charlie loved the idea.
00:12:33.000 Charlie, I was praying this morning and I totally agree.
00:12:37.000 Charlie, I feel as if this could be a huge opportunity.
00:12:40.000 So it's just overwhelming.
00:12:42.000 So let's kind of build this out again.
00:12:44.000 He can thread the needle.
00:12:45.000 Politics is the art of the possible.
00:12:46.000 If you have a four, three, four-seat majority and you get a rock-solid guy like Jim Jordan, that is a win across the board.
00:12:53.000 But also, we must keep our eyes on the rules.
00:12:55.000 It's not just a matter of the speaker.
00:12:57.000 It is what are the rules?
00:12:58.000 The rules committee, how we are going to pass bills.
00:13:01.000 And I'm not going to fall into the typical Washington, D.C. thing, but it would be imprudent and irresponsible if we do not also have someone become Speaker of the House who is not serious about defending the majority in 2024.
00:13:18.000 This is technical political stuff, but Hakeem Jeffries has raised hundreds of millions of dollars to take back the House.
00:13:24.000 Hundreds of millions of dollars.
00:13:26.000 On the Democrat agenda is HR1, universal mail-in balloting, the elimination of the Electoral College, and D.C. and Puerto Rico as states.
00:13:34.000 A Trump second term is 10 times as powerful if we have both houses of Congress.
00:13:40.000 So we have Jim Jordan, who definitely has the energy.
00:13:42.000 He has the vision.
00:13:44.000 He has the integrity.
00:13:45.000 And let me just talk about Jim Jordan's integrity.
00:13:47.000 He's a good man.
00:13:47.000 I've known him for a long time.
00:13:49.000 He spoke at our turning point events.
00:13:51.000 He comes on our show.
00:13:52.000 He does the right thing.
00:13:52.000 I've never heard anybody in D.C. say a negative word about him.
00:13:56.000 Remember a couple years ago when all the media tried to come after Jim Jordan?
00:13:59.000 Oh, he was a wrestling coach and he turned a blind eye to all this stuff.
00:14:03.000 It was a bunch of lies.
00:14:04.000 It was a bunch of garbage.
00:14:05.000 He's humble.
00:14:06.000 He's a warrior.
00:14:07.000 He's a legit conservative.
00:14:09.000 And wouldn't it be nice to have a Speaker of the House not from California?
00:14:14.000 How about from Ohio?
00:14:15.000 I mean, enough of this kind of like nonstop flow of people in leadership of our country.
00:14:21.000 I know we got a lot of California Patriots watching, but how about a little Heartland energy?
00:14:24.000 How about a little Midwest energy?
00:14:27.000 Place where we actually have the ordinary class, the ordinary muscular class, plumbers, electricians, welders, steel workers, down to earth.
00:14:36.000 And so we have to find a candidate that can unite the tribes.
00:14:39.000 Democrats yesterday sided and they said, every single one of them, to remove Kevin McCarthy because they think that we're going to just fight amongst ourselves and that they can get a speaker that can be a temporary uniparty type speaker.
00:14:57.000 This would be a disaster.
00:14:59.000 It would be absolutely dreadful.
00:15:03.000 And I want to play some pieces of tape here from yesterday.
00:15:06.000 But some of the other names, let's go through the names that are being floated.
00:15:08.000 Nancy Mace, bad idea.
00:15:10.000 Tom Emmer, forget it.
00:15:11.000 Steve Scalise, not going to happen.
00:15:13.000 Chip Roy doesn't have the support.
00:15:16.000 And all of this started largely because the establishment, again, listened, this is worth some examination.
00:15:22.000 The establishment thought that they could do the typical and the ordinary type of spending bill.
00:15:27.000 Here was the entire thing.
00:15:28.000 The entire debate came down to whether or not you are going to pass individual appropriation bills, individual, one by one by one, or are you going to do just a CR, an all-encompassing continuing resolution?
00:15:44.000 So whoever the speaker ends up being, Speaker Jordan, that sounds great, doesn't it?
00:15:49.000 Speaker Jordan, the first act of business needs to be that we're going to do one-by-one spending bills.
00:15:57.000 We're going to do appropriation for this and appropriation for that.
00:16:00.000 This drives DC crazy, by the way.
00:16:02.000 DC just wants an all-encompassing one-size-fits-all.
00:16:06.000 No one has to look at the budget, sign off on it, everything is fine.
00:16:10.000 To actually ask questions about budgets.
00:16:13.000 So let's disconnect the personality from the policy.
00:16:16.000 The most important policy that we can accomplish, the most important policy that we can move forward is: can we get actual appropriations bills passed before this 45-day CR expires?
00:16:31.000 And you know what?
00:16:32.000 It is about time that we start to put some pressure on the U.S. Senate.
00:16:37.000 The U.S. Senate has just had it, they have done nothing.
00:16:40.000 They've passed zero appropriations bills.
00:16:42.000 They do absolutely nothing.
00:16:45.000 The House needs to unify as a Republican conference, needs to cut spending, defund Jack Smith, secure the border, and send it to the Senate.
00:16:54.000 Send it to the Senate.
00:16:55.000 Make McConnell and Schumer do some work for once.
00:16:58.000 For once.
00:16:59.000 Put them on the record.
00:17:01.000 Do some voting.
00:17:02.000 Get them in some appropriations committees.
00:17:04.000 Use the leverage of the House to actually try and reform this completely and totally out of control budget.
00:17:12.000 And some people are saying, well, Charlie, we can't do a knee-jerk reaction here.
00:17:16.000 We have to take our time.
00:17:17.000 That's completely wrong.
00:17:18.000 We are running out of time with candidate selection and recruitment in these swing districts.
00:17:22.000 We're running out of time to raise money.
00:17:24.000 We're running out of time to be able to bring the case to the American people.
00:17:28.000 And most importantly, we're running out of time legislatively.
00:17:32.000 The CR clock is ticking.
00:17:34.000 The election is 13 months away.
00:17:36.000 We need to have a full slate of candidates in the swing districts, which people don't always think about.
00:17:42.000 But that sense of urgency is we need a speaker by Monday.
00:17:48.000 I want to talk about relieffactor.com.
00:17:50.000 I want you guys to check out relieffactor.com, 100% drug-free, knee pain, back pain, joint pain, elbow pain.

00:18:14.000 That is what his life is all about.
00:18:16.000 Make sure you guys are sleeping well.
00:18:17.000 It's a major part of life.
00:18:19.000 Check it out right now: relieffactor.com, relieffactor.com.
00:18:25.000 So here what's happening right now: this is why the window needs to be filled very quickly.
00:18:31.000 The establishment, the uniparty, the bad actors in DC, they are out for blood.
00:18:42.000 For the eight people that voted against McCarthy, I've been just hearing whispers about some of the articles, opposition research, you know, rumors of things.
00:18:53.000 It is about to get very, very nasty.
00:18:57.000 They've displaced McCarthy.
00:18:58.000 They're going to try to remove all eight of those people.
00:19:01.000 Not just remove, but as vicious as the regime can possibly get.
00:19:06.000 It's going to get personal.
00:19:08.000 It's going to get nasty.
00:19:09.000 It's going to be as brutal as DC can possibly get.
00:19:19.000 Understand, Jim Jordan, massive win, especially considering the small majority, and you have to get all these moderates.
00:19:30.000 It would just be, it would be terrific.
00:19:33.000 And again, I will, and by the way, you guys, the audience are in total agreement.
00:19:38.000 We're getting these emails, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:19:41.000 I love Jim Jordan.
00:19:41.000 He's terrific.
00:19:42.000 He's amazing.
00:19:42.000 It's overwhelming.
00:19:44.000 So I know that we're right on the mark.
00:19:48.000 Is, and I know this is a lesser appreciated element to this, but I could tell you, but I personally traveled 3,100 days in the last 11 years.
00:19:58.000 I've personally raised a fair amount of money, hundreds of millions of dollars over the last 11 years.
00:20:04.000 We've deployed it in very impactful and meaningful ways.
00:20:08.000 That is not for the faint of heart.
00:20:10.000 It can literally break you.
00:20:12.000 You need someone who's willing to travel nonstop, meet with donors, hand a legislative calendar, legislative calendar.
00:20:20.000 You need someone authentic.
00:20:21.000 You need someone hungry.
00:20:22.000 You need someone ambitious in the best possible way.
00:20:25.000 And Jim Jordan is that guy.
00:20:26.000 He is a workhorse.
00:20:28.000 So he's principled.
00:20:30.000 He's smart.
00:20:30.000 He has integrity.
00:20:32.000 He's incredibly conservative.
00:20:34.000 And he works his tail off.
00:20:37.000 But instead, I have to be very honest, I am careful to do segments where I publicly challenge my elders.
00:20:46.000 The Bible says to honor your elders, honor those in positions of authority.
00:20:52.000 And someone who I consider a friend, someone who has been coming on our program, someone who spoke at our turning point USA events, I'm going to be honest, he's a patriot, but he is completely and totally off base here.
00:21:04.000 So while we're disputing who's going to be speaker, there is a basically a signal that has been sent for revenge.
00:21:17.000 There is going to be one of the most bloodthirsty revenge campaigns we've ever seen in the history of establishment versus grassroots.
00:21:28.000 Here's just a little window into that.
00:21:29.000 This elder, who is a patriot, I'm on different planets.
00:21:34.000 He's on Neptune.
00:21:35.000 I'm on Saturn on this.
00:21:36.000 I could not disagree more with former Speaker Newt Gingrich.
00:21:41.000 And I'm disappointed to hear him say the word traitor.
00:21:48.000 Man, that is.
00:21:51.000 I'm going to just chalk that up because of how much respect I have for him of just kind of cable news excitement.
00:21:57.000 I don't think he really believes that.
00:22:00.000 But just understand that this opinion that Newt Gingrich has is held by about 150 members of the House in the Republican conference right now.
00:22:10.000 Newt Gingrich is basically speaking for the 150 people that you need to win over to select a speaker.
00:22:19.000 Okay, listen, and I want your thoughts on this.
00:22:21.000 We're going to examine this because this is tough stuff.
00:22:24.000 Play cut 46.
00:22:26.000 96% of the Republicans voted for McCarthy.
00:22:30.000 4% voted against him.
00:22:32.000 From my position as a longtime Republican activist, they're traitors.
00:22:36.000 All eight of them should, in fact, be primaried.
00:22:39.000 They should all be driven out of public life.
00:22:41.000 What they did was to go to the other team to cause total chaos.
00:22:46.000 We ought to be focusing on Biden.
00:22:48.000 We ought to be focusing on the economy.
00:22:50.000 We ought to be focusing on the border.
00:22:52.000 Instead, you're going to get a week or 10 days of the media focusing on Republican disarray.
00:22:57.000 It's an astonishingly destructive behavior by a handful of egocentric people who think they're superior to 96% of the conference.
00:23:08.000 Okay, a lot to unpack there.
00:23:10.000 These people are not traitors.
00:23:12.000 These people are loyal to their voters.
00:23:14.000 Okay?
00:23:16.000 Eli Crane, who represents a district not far from here, represents Yavapai County and the eastern part of Maricopa County.
00:23:25.000 He's not a traitor.
00:23:27.000 Eli Crane is a patriot.
00:23:28.000 Eli Crane is a veteran.
00:23:30.000 Eli Crane was listening to his voters.
00:23:33.000 Was it a good move tactically?
00:23:35.000 That remains to be seen.
00:23:38.000 So, for anyone out there, and again, there's so few of these because the response of Jim Jordan for speaker, I could see the grassroots MAGA 100% behind.
00:23:48.000 But there's a couple emails here or there that say, oh, Jim Jordan is too moderate.
00:23:52.000 Understand, you have 150 people that believe every word that Newt Gingrich just said.
00:23:58.000 150 people in the Republican conference that you have to win over.
00:24:03.000 And Jim Jordan is a more conservative, grassroots, high-energy guy who can then win over the Newt Gingrich wing of the current Republican conference.
00:24:17.000 And I say this very carefully.
00:24:20.000 Newt Gingrich has to apologize for what he said.
00:24:23.000 This is not funny.
00:24:25.000 There's a lot of weight to this, calling people traitors.
00:24:29.000 Joe Biden is a traitor.
00:24:31.000 Let's save the T-word for people that have sold out our country, not people that are upset that business as usual in Washington, D.C. needs to be uninterrupted.
00:24:43.000 But this is not some sort of baseless threat, okay?
00:24:49.000 Because if we don't move fast and if we kind of just take our time and we go through nine different levels of voting, rounds of voting and 11 different levels of voting, real conversation right now, just so you guys know what we're dealing with, which I know you do, obviously.
00:25:06.000 It's not a surprise.
00:25:07.000 They're going to kick Matt Gates out of the Republican conference probably in the next couple of days, and they'll probably kick Matt Gates.
00:25:14.000 Well, not probably.
00:25:14.000 No, they will almost certainly kick Matt Gates out of the Republican conference and they're going to try to expel him from the House of Representatives.
00:25:23.000 So that's going to happen in the next couple of days.
00:25:26.000 And they might do that also with Nancy May.
00:25:29.000 Well, Nancy Mace, give me a break.
00:25:31.000 Nancy Mace just wants to be speaker.
00:25:33.000 Nancy Mace or Bob Good, who's coming up later on this program, or Ken Buck, who's just getting ready for a CNN contract, Andy Biggs, who I think the world of.
00:25:45.000 And by the way, let me just tell you, Andy Biggs, I'm going to defend Andy 100% here.
00:25:49.000 For Newt to say, oh, it's all about Andy.
00:25:52.000 No, Andy's a patriot.
00:25:56.000 I don't like going deep into people's intentions either.
00:25:59.000 I find that to be incredibly subjective.
00:26:03.000 But Andy is fulfilling what he told his voters.
00:26:06.000 I mean, Andy has never made a mystery to his voters that we need to balance the budget.
00:26:10.000 The border is completely out of control.
00:26:12.000 And people say, well, you know, this has just become overly personal.
00:26:15.000 Well, maybe, okay.
00:26:18.000 But if you were to ask former Speaker McCarthy, Kevin McCarthy, do you regret the way that you handle the CR?
00:26:26.000 He says no, but of course he does, obviously.
00:26:29.000 And this was the bet that Kevin McCarthy made.
00:26:32.000 And by the way, I called Matt Gates on Sunday because I turned my phone off on the week.
00:26:36.000 I said, Matt, what is going on here?
00:26:37.000 And do you know what Matt thought was going to happen?
00:26:40.000 Matt was certain that if he did motion to vacate, Kevin would be bailed out by Democrats.
00:26:48.000 He's like, yeah, you know, Kevin's going to survive because Democrats will bail him out.
00:26:54.000 It was the dog that caught the car because he was like, wait a second, this actually worked?
00:26:59.000 Matt, it worked.
00:27:00.000 Two things.
00:27:02.000 Those people that voted, there is going to be, and it's not right.
00:27:05.000 This shouldn't happen.
00:27:06.000 I'm going to stand against it.
00:27:07.000 The exacting of pathological revenge against those eight people.
00:27:11.000 It's going to get very vicious.
00:27:13.000 And they don't deserve that.
00:27:15.000 They don't.
00:27:15.000 Because they're just expressing frustration to a completely broken system while our country is disintegrating and collapsing and doing like a revenge tour.
00:27:28.000 We're going to come after you and write that.
00:27:30.000 I don't like that.
00:27:31.000 Okay.
00:27:32.000 So we need a new speaker.
00:27:34.000 We need it quickly.
00:27:35.000 Okay.
00:27:38.000 And, you know, some of you are emailing me, but Charlie, we shouldn't worry about the 150 people that agree with Newt Gingrich.
00:27:44.000 Yes, you actually do need those people.
00:27:46.000 I'm sorry.
00:27:47.000 I'm going to push back here.
00:27:49.000 You need, you have a three-seat majority.
00:27:51.000 Those 150 people that are in the Newt Gingrich wing of the Republican caucus, they have never been more upset.
00:27:58.000 They're not going to accept a Chip Roy.
00:28:00.000 They're not going to accept a Byron Donalds.
00:28:02.000 They're not going to accept a Donald Trump.
00:28:04.000 They're not going to accept any of those people.
00:28:05.000 So you have to form a coalition.
00:28:08.000 And your choices are going to be Tom Emmer, Steve Scalise, or Jim Jordan.
00:28:14.000 That's basically where this is going to come down to.
00:28:17.000 And the fact of the matter is that Jim Jordan is by far the most conservative, the hardest worker, the most honest, the biggest patriot that we have.
00:28:31.000 And I'm going to go a step further.
00:28:33.000 I'm going to go to bat for Jim Jordan so much where I can say this is not some sort of small concession, right?
00:28:43.000 This is actually a major win.
00:28:46.000 And if we kind of play around here and we let perfect be the enemy of good, which I don't like in politics, then you could end up with Scalise, who's even more moderate.
00:28:59.000 Or if we just play around with ourselves endlessly, Hakeem Jeffries right now, Hakeem Jeffries right now is trying to peel off five to 10 Republicans that are super moderate in dangerous seats to create a no-labels-esque uniparty speaker for the rest of the term.
00:29:20.000 That's why Hakeem Jeffries voted the way he did yesterday, and he told his commissars to vote the same way, the Pullet Bureau.
00:29:26.000 So let's not let Perfect be the enemy of good.
00:29:29.000 Jordan would be a massive win as we're in this risky time where it could go in a bad direction.
00:29:35.000 Let's turn it into a historic win.
00:29:41.000 Hey, everybody, Mike Lindell has a passion to help you get the best sleep of your life.
00:29:44.000 He didn't stop at the pillow.

00:30:38.000 So let me just tell you right down the middle, and we're getting a lot of emails agreeing with our take both on Jim Jordan and also on Newt Gingrich.
00:30:47.000 And I'm just careful to say this.
00:30:50.000 Newt, you're making a mistake.
00:30:52.000 You're calling out the wrong people.
00:30:54.000 You're doing it in a way that is not very Gingrich-like.
00:31:01.000 I don't like it.
00:31:01.000 I'll be honest.
00:31:03.000 So we call balls and strikes.
00:31:04.000 So let me tell you some incredible blessing that could come out of yesterday and a major liability.
00:31:15.000 Okay?
00:31:15.000 So let's go, which one do you want both?
00:31:17.000 Which one do you want first?
00:31:18.000 Blessing or liability?
00:31:19.000 Blessing or liability?
00:31:20.000 Let's start with a blessing, okay?
00:31:23.000 At the best possible reading, what happened yesterday is that the establishment is terrified of conservatives.
00:31:33.000 Yesterday was the we actually have a bite, not just a bark moment.
00:31:38.000 That for a generation now, built into the folklore and the mythology of right-wing congressional politics, that when a grassroots congressman says something, it's going to be taken more seriously because positions of political power can be lost by your right flank.
00:32:02.000 And for that, that is a good thing.
00:32:05.000 Because for years, the right flank had really no power.
00:32:10.000 John Boehner, Thomas Massey tried to get rid of them and they just came down like a ton of bricks.
00:32:16.000 Paul Ryan, never have grassroots conservatives been able to check and balance the establishment.
00:32:25.000 And so that's going to be the grassroots conservative members will be taken more seriously for years to come and their coalition for years to come.
00:32:36.000 What's the liability?
00:32:38.000 You're about to see an unprecedented flow of money that will try to destroy the personal lives, the political careers of anyone that self-identifies as a conservative in the Republican Party.
00:32:56.000 You are going to see revenge money from center-right billionaires that will overwhelm MAGA voices in primaries.
00:33:06.000 Overwhelm.
00:33:08.000 And I'm not saying this to make you afraid.
00:33:11.000 I'm not saying this to say that it was a bad thing.
00:33:13.000 Again, I just told you, hey, it shows the bad guys that we're bite and also bark.
00:33:17.000 Like you just can't, like, it's the old FAFO, man.
00:33:21.000 It's like you can only do so much until, sorry.
00:33:25.000 At the same time, for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction.
00:33:28.000 And if you think for a second that you are going to vacate the chair of the speaker for the first time in American history and you're going to go back to your district and not have $25 million in a primary against you, you are not living in reality.
00:33:51.000 So that's the heaviness and the weight of what very well might happen, what will happen.
00:33:58.000 And it's going to be attack articles and private investigators and primary campaigns and dark money and calling for investigations into family businesses.
00:34:11.000 It's going to get nasty.
00:34:15.000 And there will be an attempt, and we have to make sure this attempt is not successful.
00:34:21.000 There will be an attempt to create an extinction event of conservatives in the entire U.S. Congress.
00:34:30.000 They are going to try to make us extinct after this.
00:34:33.000 And you might say, oh, bring it on, bring it on.
00:34:36.000 I like that attitude.
00:34:38.000 But they're not going to spend their money necessarily going after Democrats.
00:34:43.000 The death star, the eye of Sauron, is now going to be directed right at MAGA.
00:34:54.000 And it's going to get bloody.
00:34:58.000 There will be capital flowing into these districts.
00:35:01.000 And some of you say, oh, Charlie, that doesn't matter.
00:35:04.000 Who cares?
