00:02:16.000We find out that on Saturday evening, late at night, in the dead of night, vandals, it looks like a group of them, swarmed Charlie's statue that was just unveiled and they vandalized it.
00:02:29.000And they obviously mocked the manner in which Charlie was killed.
00:02:36.000They spray painted red, which we all know the color of red, what that was meant to signify.
00:02:41.000And then they also vandalized a nearby sign.
00:02:45.000And they crossed out Charlie's face again, and noticeably the name of Jesus.
00:02:49.000Now, some people say that they wrote Satan over that.
00:02:52.000I'm not sure if I can see that or not.0.87
00:02:55.000But nevertheless, it was detestable, vile, and ugly.
00:04:31.000It would never occur to us in a million years.
00:04:34.000To vandalize a statue honoring someone on the left who, especially if they'd been heinously murdered or died some tragic death, even someone we might criticize, like let's say George Floyd as an example, we would never go and vandalize a George Floyd statue.
00:04:50.000That would be heinous, that'd be disgusting.
00:04:52.000And yet, it took not even three days for, as you said, apparently a group of people to call up your friends and go, let's go deface and desecrate a monument to someone who was assassinated.
00:05:05.000And apparently, that's the sort of friend group.
00:05:07.000That they have, and there's this very animalistic, anti civilizational element to the left that's very disturbing.
00:05:17.000And it's something Charlie warned about.
00:05:18.000It's the same impulse that makes you celebrate Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson.
00:05:25.000It's that same impulse that makes them whoop and holler over looting, over destroying a target, over ripping down other statues that we've seen across the country.
00:05:36.000It's this very destructive impulse in the left, and we have to be frank and we have to be brave.
00:05:41.000In confronting it, we can't concede the public square to these people.
00:05:44.000So, if that statue doesn't go to Statuary Hall, I saw Tyler mention we might have to keep that statue out where everyone can see it just so that we cannot be intimidated by these freaks.
00:05:55.000And listen, if you, I think that's so well said because, you know, Charlie warned that violence was all that the left had.
00:06:02.000It was a fundamental feature of radical left wing politics is that they have abandoned public debate, good faith discourse, and instead they believe that being vile, being ghoulish, As you mentioned, Blake, defacing, desecrating a statue that was commissioned to memorialize a great man who died innocently, doing politics the right way, mind you.
00:06:27.000Yeah, you don't have to believe in everything that he believed in.
00:06:30.000You don't have to agree with his politics, but you could at least acknowledge your shared humanity.
00:07:55.000I mean, the outpouring of just, I don't know, anger, frustration at this has been tremendous and therefore a lot of love as well.
00:08:04.000I mean, we've heard from Andy Biggs, we've heard from Abe Homadee, we've heard from Jay Feely, we've heard from Juan Siskamani, we've heard from all of the people that you would kind of expect, but also around the country.
00:08:16.000Nobody with a D next to their name in the state of Arizona has even condemned what happened, the vandalism.
00:08:26.000To find a unifying moment that you shouldn't be desecrating a statue that was commissioned to honor the life and legacy of somebody who was killed in cold blood.
00:08:34.000I don't know why that's okay for anybody, but we haven't heard from them.
00:08:39.000So we'd love to hear from Katie Hobbs or anybody to condemn this.
00:08:42.000And the word on the street, I just find myself thinking how much heaven and earth was moved when someone left a tire mark on one of those BLM flags when they painted those on the street.
00:09:00.000And people would get arrested because they left a tire skid mark on those.
00:09:03.000And that's a political symbol put into a public space as opposed to a private statue honoring a specific person who was murdered.
00:09:14.000And I just think of the scale of different reactions to that.
00:09:18.000Listen, if this was something that had been desecrated on the left, something that they cared about, Katie Hobbs and Mays and all these people would be up in arms, holding a press conference, vowing justice and a hate crime, the book thrown at these people, nothing.
00:09:39.000I don't think anybody can yet until we catch who did this.
00:09:42.000Is that there's a fear, a real fear on the Democrat side of the aisle in this state that the people who did this are associated with their political apparatus.
00:10:18.000Charlie said, every time left wing anarchists tear down a statue of an American hero like George Washington, President Trump should commission two more statues to be built.
00:10:28.000Erica Kirk, 162, she says, responding to the desecration of the Charlie Kirk statue, says, Charlie once said we should be building two statues for every statue that they tear down.
00:10:38.000His instinct, Was always to build, not to destroy.
00:10:42.000They thought a bullet would silence my husband's voice, but it only made it louder.
00:10:45.000They think spray paint can obscure his legacy, but it will only spread it further.
00:10:49.000Every attempt to tear down what Charlie built makes us root deeper and work even harder.
00:10:53.000And if you think crossing out the name of Jesus Christ will silence Christians, history has already proved you wrong.
00:10:58.000We know what it costs to stand firm for Christ, and we will stand anyway.
00:11:13.000I want to play some clips for you from Charlie himself.
00:11:18.000And I warn you in advance, these clips are hard to listen to.
00:11:25.000Like so many things in Charlie's life, you get this sinking feeling when you hear him back that he sort of had some advanced knowledge or he had a feeling or a premonition, whatever you want to call it.
00:12:16.000They're going to do everything they possibly can to try to murder this movement because they can't beat us, so they're going to try to take weapons.
00:12:51.000I mean, it's a total asymmetry because.
00:12:54.000Violence really is a core part of the left's political operation scheme.
00:13:01.000In a way, it just never is on the right.
00:13:04.000That they will, they have absolutely no shame about taking something like what we saw in 2020, where you have mobs of thousands of people doing wanton destruction, ripping down statue after statue, destroying stores, and they're ready there to say, well, a riot is the language of the unheard, or this just shows how out of control and bad things have gotten.
00:13:27.000Of course, adopt all the things that we've wanted us to do anyway, or it'll be so much worse.
00:13:32.000There's never, in a million years, you never ever see the government worried that we need to implement a conservative policy, or else the right will explode in anarchic violence.
00:13:44.000But that's something we routinely hear as a justification for adopting left wing policies that if we don't do it, they will kill us.
00:13:59.000In the wake of Charlie's assassination, we didn't riot, we didn't loot, we held vigils and prayers, and we held the memorial, which was one of the largest proclamations of the gospel in human history.
00:14:36.000As you've aptly stated here, Blake, the left believes in replacing just about everything that there is about America, whether it's the body politic, the demographics, the institutions, the ideology, the American dream.
00:14:49.000They want to replace all of those things.
00:14:51.000So, at its core, if you want to replace something, what's the easiest way to do that?
00:14:56.000To destroy it, to get it out of the way, to remove it off the chessboard.
00:15:01.000That is why these two movements are so.
00:15:17.000If you look at the stats behind it, it's wrong now.
00:15:20.000And it's probably been wrong throughout most of human history.
00:15:23.000It's always been wrong because it's always premised on one of their best advantages, which is to rewrite how we define things.
00:15:31.000And so they'll, for example, when people have looked into the details of this, they'll love to categorize.
00:15:38.000Any crime committed by someone they've decided is, for example, a white supremacist, which might mean he was a member of a prison gang, they'll classify that as specifically right wing political violence.
00:15:49.000But they'll never, for example, categorize everything that happened in 2020 as left wing political violence when it clearly was.
00:15:58.000It clearly hit dozens of cities across the country and involved tens of thousands of individual crimes.
00:16:05.000But they won't categorize it that way.
00:16:07.000They'll memory hole something like, That Bill Ayers was in a group of people who were planting bombs all over the country in the Capitol, in the Pentagon.
00:16:16.000They're planting bombs to target people for a political end, and that'll be memory holed out of existence.
00:16:23.000It's a story over and over again with the left.
00:16:26.000I wonder if even what happened on Sunday will be clowned as a left wing political violence when it's clearly meant to menace and intimidate.
00:17:57.000They want to try to implode the conservative movement.
00:18:03.000Before he ever stepped onto a debate stage or behind a microphone, Charlie understood something really important that if you want to lead, you first have to learn.
00:18:13.000Charlie believed that ideas shape character, conviction, and courage.
00:18:16.000That's why he spent years studying the classics, the American founding, and the Bible through Hillsdale College's.
00:18:22.000He would rave about these courses all the time.
00:18:25.000These free online courses are taught by Hillsdale College professors and draw from the same great books and enduring ideas studied on Hillsdale's campus.
00:18:33.000Hillsdale's newest free online course is the Iliad, where Professor Stephen Smith guides students through Homer's great epic of honor, courage, friendship, leadership, and the pursuit of true greatness.
00:18:44.000For nearly 3,000 years, the Iliad has shaped the Western imagination.
00:18:48.000It tells the story of Achilles as he confronts injustice, rage, grief, responsibility, and the terrible costs of war.
00:18:55.000But Homer's epic is more than a story of ancient battles.
00:18:58.000It raises enduring questions about courage, duty, leadership, sacrifice, and self command.
00:19:03.000Achilles is the greatest warrior among the Greeks, but Homer asks whether strength alone is enough to make a man truly great.
00:19:10.000In this new free online course, you'll follow Achilles through the defining trials of his life and discover why one of the greatest works of Western literature still speaks to the permanent questions of human life.
00:19:20.000Charlie understood that learning isn't just about gaining knowledge, it's about forming the mind and character needed to face the challenges of life with wisdom and courage.

00:21:54.000I will sign an executive order ending our sanctuary state status.
00:21:58.000Kathy Oakland spent $5 billion of our taxpayer money on people who aren't New Yorkers, they're not Americans, and they haven't earned a thing.0.61
00:22:06.000So, for all those reasons, I will win this election and I will be the Republican governor of the state of New York.0.60
00:22:12.000Man, you, I have to say, Bruce, you're.
00:22:20.000And you sometimes worry when you've got Republicans running in these deep blue areas that it's just not going to happen.
00:22:28.000You're speaking the language of a lot of New Yorkers that are terrified about the direction of their state.
00:22:35.000And even if they're not willing to admit it, maybe they're Manhattanites or they're in Brooklyn or one of the other areas of the state that are these strongholds, they may not admit this out loud, but they are terrified of what you're describing because they know it's true.
00:22:50.000They know hundreds of Thousands of New Yorkers have left for Florida and other places.
00:22:54.000They know that their taxes are too high.1.00
00:22:56.000They know that foreigners are running the game right now.1.00
00:22:59.000I mean, you, and we're going to get into this public charge lawsuit that Leticia James and Mayor Mamdani are leading against the Trump administration, which is just crazy.0.99
00:23:07.000But I just want to say, as a note of confidence, you just nailed that and better than most.
00:23:15.000This ad, sir, that you guys, I don't know if you put it out, I believe you did put it out.
00:23:32.000And then she watches as the city progresses through the years.
00:23:37.000And all of a sudden, you have politicians that are cozying up to these people that planned some of the terrorist attacks or that were involved in some way, shape, or form.
00:23:47.000And that includes Mayor Momdani, by the way.
00:24:17.000And he was a New York State court officer who was rendering first aid to a woman who was in the lobby of Tower Two when that building collapsed on him.
00:25:36.000America, I mean, New York is supposed to be America's greatest city.
00:25:40.000It's this bastion of capitalism and can do spirit.
00:25:44.000That has driven so much of the innovation and the success of the American system, the American way of life.0.97
00:25:50.000And to watch it be captured before our very eyes by people that want to seize the means of production and they want to tax white, wealthier neighborhoods more and all of this crap.0.92
00:25:57.000And then they're getting into cozying up to terrorist sympathizers.0.98
00:26:02.000They are probably terrorist sympathizers themselves.0.99
00:26:35.000And like I said once before, to get to any of us, you will have to get through all of us.
00:26:40.000That is why today we are confronting this injustice with the solidarity and action that it demands.
00:26:46.000New York City is leading a coalition of cities and counties. including Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Santa Clara County, and King County, to sue the federal government for the gross illegality of their new public charge rule and the irreparable damage that it will cause.
00:27:01.000We are filing our lawsuit alongside a separate challenge led by Attorney General James.
00:27:07.000I'm grateful for her partnership in this fight and for everything she has done to stand steadfast alongside New Yorkers.
00:27:24.000Look, first of all, when you are an illegal migrant in New York State, you get a free phone, free food, free housing, and free transportation, and you get more than New Yorkers get.
00:27:37.000You haven't earned a thing, and people are fed up with it.0.90
00:27:41.000Kathy Hochul has spent $5 billion of our taxpayer money on people who aren't New Yorkers.
00:27:47.000And when Zora Mandami says they're New Yorkers, they're not.0.61
00:27:52.000They come here, they got to land here.
00:27:55.00015 minutes later, they get more stuff than New Yorkers get, and we're paying for it.
00:28:15.000Can you imagine New York State cooperating with DHS and saying, hey, if somebody gets arrested and they're illegal immigrant, we're going to cooperate and get these people?1.00
00:29:31.000Great parts of America that have tremendous achievements, tremendous things to be proud of.
00:29:36.000And I think with New York especially, I think all of America was inspired by how New York was awful in the 70s and 80s, and Mayor Giuliani and others helped bring them back.
00:30:49.000It's, I, as you said, I really liked him.
00:30:51.000I also thought that ad was really interesting because looking at it, maybe I'm mistaken, but I think there was probably some AI element to it.
00:31:01.000So I thought it's like you can get way more storytelling out of this.
00:31:05.000It gets me thinking about how you can tell much more ambitious stories in politics with modern technology.
00:31:12.000And I'm just glad he didn't pull the punch that a lot of people think wait, we're 25 years after 9 11, and we have this poisonous third world excuse making ideology in our politics again.
00:31:24.000This thing that views it's a view that basically says those firefighters who ran into the World Trade Center were the problem with our city because they are disproportionately white middle class people.
00:31:36.000The police officers who helped people on that day or died on that day, same problem.
00:31:41.000Like it's sickening to see that ideology.
00:32:36.000This shouldn't be controversial at all.0.98
00:32:38.000It speaks so much to what the priorities of the left are because it's one of those things people practically don't believe you when you tell them the left's political.
00:32:47.000Priorities include bringing in the most helpless and impoverished people from other places, specifically because they will go on the dole, they will be extremely dependent on us, they will be a political vote reserve for us.
00:33:02.000We just actually had an election in Sweden.0.86
00:33:04.000If people haven't followed this, Sweden, I know we make fun of them, they had a more conservative government that sharply restricted immigration.
00:33:11.000That government crushed crime, that government greatly lowered immigration.
00:33:15.000Actually, they had net out migration from Sweden for several years, and that government just lost power.
00:33:21.000Straight up, because they had enough immigration that it just flipped the result from a 1% victory by the right to a 1% victory by the left.0.97
00:33:29.000It was carried entirely by these neighborhoods that were voting 90% for the left and they were all filled with migrants.0.97
00:33:37.000That is what the less priorities are.1.00
00:33:40.000And so, yes, they will fight to bring in people who are public charges.
00:33:44.000They will fight to bring in people and keep people who are literally criminals.
00:34:26.000So these are violent criminals, convicted felons.
00:34:29.000They will pardon them, convicted felons, violent criminals, to keep them from getting deported.
00:34:38.000And it occurs to me, Blake, that you've got a very poor person that would come and move to America, instantly goes on welfare, food stamps, whatever.
00:35:15.000You are bringing in more fuel to the grievance machine that is the left's political apparatus.0.81
00:35:21.000Every single immigrant you bring in here that's a public charge.
00:35:24.000It is the most non controversial take ever to say that if you cannot survive on your own once you get here, you shouldn't be here.
00:35:31.000Did you know, and Blake knows this, that at least a third of the immigrants during the big wave between the 1880s and the 1920s, before they restricted immigration in the 1920s, they left.
00:36:19.000I had the honor of a lifetime to call Charlie a friend.
00:36:23.000And what I remember most wasn't just what people saw on stage, it was what was behind the scenes.
00:36:29.000That was an unwavering commitment to his faith, his love for his family, and his genuine desire to encourage others to live with courage and conviction.
00:36:39.000Charlie believed that following Christ wasn't something you compartmentalize.
00:36:42.000He didn't put it in a box, he lived it out loud.
00:36:45.000It shaped how he lived, how he served, how he treated people every single day.
00:36:50.000Charlie Kirk, American Martyr, captures that heart.
00:36:53.000This documentary isn't just simply about remembering Charlie.
00:36:56.000It's an invitation for each of us to ask what kind of legacy we're building and whether we're willing to stand firm in our own faith when it's tested.
00:37:04.000I hope that you'll watch it with your family and have those conversations together.
00:38:03.000So in early September, it was a young guy, 27 year old, Jacob Coxon, who was a researcher at OpenAI and then Anthropic for about four months.
00:38:13.000He posted that neither company was acting responsibly, that they were racing straight to something called self improving super intelligence, where the AIs actually improved themselves and they were gambling with our lives.
00:38:29.000Post drew about a hundred million views, by the way.
00:38:33.000So, you had another science lead, Evan Hubinger.
00:38:39.000He publicly agreed, saying staff really do believe AI could kill all humans.
00:38:43.000He personally put the chance at about 10% within the next decade, and that the company does not have a plan yet for aligning superintelligence.
00:38:53.000So, then days later, Joe Benton, led safety at Anthropic, said companies are racing to build systems much smarter than any human, and that humanity may not survive the transition.
00:39:03.000He wants public transparency from outside of these labs.
00:39:07.000Then Josh Angles, Google DeepMind, said there are no adults in the room.
00:39:13.000And there were other people that have left the Anthropic Safeguard team.
00:39:16.000There are lots of stories of these AIs jumping out of these safety parameters and actually going in and doing bad things.0.66
00:39:23.000China's experienced some similar things.
00:39:25.000Then on September 12th, so two days ago, the CEO of Anthropic, Amadei, published this essay.
00:39:36.000He argued that capability progress now accelerated by AI helping build the next generation of AI.
00:39:42.000So, again, this is the recursive self improvement has outrun safety work.
00:39:47.000So, now they all want to get together with the White House.
00:39:50.000They want to help, you know, add some regulations and some boundaries on the AI frontier.
00:39:56.000But it has the air of what, you know, we've seen this before, Sean industry capture, where the titans and the leaders of a certain industry, you know, scream from the rooftops and they beg.
00:40:10.000Washington to institute their forms of regulation on an industry.
00:40:17.000But Sean, what do you make of all of these AI tech titans now screaming bloody murder that this thing's running off the rails is going to erase humanity?
00:40:25.000Give us at least a 10% chance in the next decade.
00:40:51.000So, like, we all kind of get theoretically the notion that AI could take over the world.
00:40:56.000But my question is if you are Dario Amadei and you are overseeing this thing and you are worried, truly worried, legitimately, genuinely, that this Frankenstein's monster, which you have created, which is going to wreak havoc and destroy the world.
00:41:12.000Wouldn't you have a responsibility and obligation to just go unplug it?
00:41:16.000Like, if there's a one in 10 chance that this thing you created is going to destroy everything on earth, I don't think you would go out there and get on social media and beg for the government to regulate you.
00:41:46.000If you're running a race and you're worried that you're going a little too fast, you can just go more slowly.
00:41:52.000The only time, the only point at which you would worry running a race about the pace of people in the race with you is if you're worried that they are going to beat you.
00:42:02.000And in this case, the they is open source AI, not open AI, but truly little o open sourced AI.
00:42:10.000What is happening here is a classic case of regulatory capture where you have all the first movers with all the capital.
00:42:17.000With all the advantages, they have decided they don't want to have to compete with anyone coming after them.
00:42:22.000So they're going to form a cartel, get the government to regulate it, and then make everyone else get boxed out for it.
00:42:27.000So I kind of scoff at these things that Amadei is saying.
00:42:32.000While I acknowledge theoretically the possibility that I could go crazy, if the guy in charge of it isn't willing to shut it down because he was worried it might murder him, I am going to doubt that guy's sincerity.
00:43:47.000We don't want to pace the frontier, right?
00:43:49.000Meanwhile, you got billionaires building luxury bunkers in their Hawaii compounds and things like this.
00:43:55.000There are people that are bracing for impact here.
00:43:59.000And I mean, just listen to Jacob Coxon and this guy was the guy who kind of blew the whistle here at SOT 29.
00:44:04.000So, it's not at all an exaggeration to say that the people who are involved with both founding these companies and building the tech believe there is a possibility of human extinction.
00:44:13.000And many of the people who are sort of deep in the weeds on actually coding the thing believe that there is like a greater than 10% chance or even greater, some smaller, but they all have different numbers for a probability that humans might die.
00:44:27.000And they will keep this in their head on a daily basis while working on the technology.
00:44:35.000I believe that if we don't slow down at the current rate of progress, yes, there is a strong chance that we could all die in the immediate future.
00:44:43.000So, this, I mean, that is not somebody that runs the company.
00:44:46.000Apparently, he exited before he was vested, which seems to be a note of credibility for him.
00:44:52.000He didn't take the money and then speak up.
00:45:04.000So, if he left before then, who's to say why he left?
00:45:07.000He may have just not liked it or maybe he wasn't very good at it.
00:45:09.000But when you have someone with no real social media presence come out, with no real history at the company come out, instantly get 100 million views, again, despite no real track record on social media, within, I believe, 12 minutes of that tweet being out, his original one, we had multiple senators putting out press releases with the same thing.
00:45:27.000Now we have Chuck Schumer asking for summits on it.
00:45:31.000And then suddenly within like three days, we have a White House meeting on it.
00:45:34.000That to me is like a classic coordinated operation to get to a predetermined destination.
00:45:44.000Thing, yeah, Hakeem Jeffries is also coming out saying we need to slow down.
00:45:48.000So, seems like all the people I don't trust are buying into this idea, Blake.
00:45:56.000Your thoughts on all this AI discussion?
00:45:58.000There's so many, but Sean, I think one of the most interesting theories I've seen about this operation is very clear, it feels very coordinated.
00:46:07.000As you said, that guy got 50 million views or whatever on his post almost instantly, he had no footprint.
00:46:15.000Clearly, there was planning in the background of this.
00:46:17.000But one of the most interesting theories I've heard is that we're not on the brink of super intelligence, AGI, whatever you want to call it, but rather that one of that Anthropic has realized actually we're not going to get that breakout.0.50
00:46:33.000We are hitting a ceiling of how far we're able to go.
00:46:36.000But if we announce that we're dialing back our efforts on this, it's going to look very bad that we're the one who are giving up.
00:47:02.000That is kind of fascinating that they're trying to create an artificial cap to get around the fact that maybe they're not progressing as much as they liked.
00:47:10.000I find that somewhat intriguing because it would explain.
00:47:13.000Well, I'll just back up and say anytime stuff like this happens, I'm trying to find the central idea that would explain all of the different behavior and claims.
00:47:22.000So I like this because it similarly explains why they're acting like this.
00:47:27.000But I had the thought listening to that selection from Trump where he was talking about AI.
00:47:34.000In very similar terms to how we talked about nuclear weapons for 50 years, and how we talked about how if they fell into the wrong hands, it would be pandemonium and the world would die.
00:47:45.000And what I find interesting about that is if you believe that, then doesn't it become necessary to instantly nationalize all of the AI assets?
00:47:53.000If this is something that is so dangerous, akin to weaponizing plutonium in uranium, then it's not just enough to have it controlled by a couple of market participants like OpenAI or Anthropic.
00:48:06.000At this point, it would seem too dangerous to be held by civilians at all.
00:48:10.000So we should probably just go and nationalize Anthropic because if we can't trust them to not destroy the world, clearly that's not an asset they need to have any control over.0.98
00:48:20.000And yet they're not asking for that at all.0.62
00:48:22.000The guy Jacob, who thinks it's going to destroy humanity, he's not asking for that at all.
00:48:26.000They're not talking about canceling their IPO.
00:48:29.000That's the big thing that's coming up.
00:48:32.000And speaking of not being able to trust them, we've separately had over the past few months, there is the Hugging Face incident.
00:48:38.000If you guys aren't familiar with that, that's one of these incidents.
00:48:41.000AI trained agents kind of broke out and tried to hack another company while being trained.
00:48:47.000And it appears there are other incidents that are similarly.
00:48:50.000And the example I can think of is if we, let's say somehow nuclear weapons were developed by a private company, and then they said, guys, we have problems.
00:48:59.000We just keep detonating these nuclear weapons and they're dropping fallout everywhere.
00:49:03.000Well, won't someone, we need to slow down on nuclear weapons to stop these detonations from endangering the public.
00:49:10.000And you just kind of look and go, have you guys considered?
00:49:13.000Not setting off nuclear weapons near cities, not doing wildly dangerous things.
00:49:17.000Or if they were saying, if you're a firearms maker and you're testing them by just going outside and spraying your gun wherever, and if it hits someone, that's too bad.
00:49:27.000It feels like they're warning us about these dangers, and these dangers feel entirely generated by the companies themselves.
00:49:36.000And they use that as an argument for giving them more power because they 100% want to be in the room writing all these regulations that they're proposing.
00:49:43.000Well, Blake, you're really into game theory, and you.
00:49:46.000You can just imagine some of these AI tech entrepreneurs giving game theory prompts to their own AIs and playing out this scenario.
00:49:56.000And if there is some vast conspiracy, maybe they've gamed this all out and AIs helped them do it.
00:50:35.000Something that we're concerned by, but we want to make sure that we actually regulate smartly and we're thoughtful about the risk here.
00:50:43.000So there are obviously risks to AI, there are some benefits to AI.
00:50:48.000I have to say, just personally, I feel a little bit.
00:50:51.000Weird about the fact that you have so many frontier AI tech companies kind of coming to the government and begging the government to regulate them.
00:50:59.000It feels a little bit to me like a bit of a Trojan horse.
00:51:02.000So I think we just have to be careful about this.
00:51:28.000Sean, is that video the human race falling into the sea, or is that AI hitting a bubble in this elaborate scheme to pull the wool over all of our eyes?
00:52:00.000And I'm reminded by a very famous JP Morgan quote, JP Morgan, the banker, who said, Every man has two reasons for everything he does a good reason and the real reason.
00:52:12.000So Dario and the AI guys have given us the good reason.
00:52:15.000I would like to know what the real reason is.
00:52:17.000I think that's a great place to leave it.
00:52:19.000Sean Davis, The Federalist, a great American institution.
00:52:29.000Midterm elections are coming up and control of Congress is on the line.
00:52:33.000If there's one thing financial markets hate, it's uncertainty.
00:52:37.000And uncertainty is exactly what the next few months are going to bring.
00:52:40.000In 2024, if it taught us anything, it's that uncertainty breeds volatility.
00:52:45.000Between now and November could be one of the most volatile stretches for the stock market and the economy.
00:52:51.000So you owe it to yourself to have a plan.
00:52:53.000Here's the good part there's a simple way to protect what you've built, and that's gold, physical gold, and silver, let you hedge against that volatility.
00:53:02.000And there's no better partner for it than Noble Gold Investments.
00:53:05.000For over a decade, Noble Gold has helped everyday Americans protect their wealth with precious metals.
00:53:10.000They make it simple, they make it easy, and they make it safe.
00:53:36.000To celebrate America's 250th, just mention the Charlie Kirk Show when you call Noble Gold, and they'll send you a free 10 ounce silver bar when you open a new qualified account.
00:54:58.000We have our new national benchmark coming out.
00:55:00.000But we intentionally, I just honestly can't believe pollsters did do that right after Labor Day, knowing a convention was coming, which was historic.
00:55:09.000And given that we've seen polling bumps with conventions for presidential cycles, I thought the prudent thing as a pollster to do was to wait.
00:56:07.000You know, the problem is, you know, the independent vote.
00:56:10.000And what we need to see is that energy start to drift into the independent vote because the truth is, each party has their own leaners, guys.
00:56:17.000There's a very small amount that's truly independent.
00:56:20.000And if you got it, you got to get your energy up first.
00:56:22.000And then that bleeds into your independence, which will shrink the margin that your opponent's winning them by.
00:56:32.000Well, speaking of energy and all of that, Rich, so you say whether the polls show a bump in the way you might in a presidential year, were people watching it?
00:56:42.000Were people compared to the presidential ones, which it does seem get tens of millions of viewers?
00:56:47.000Did a lot of people tune in to see those speeches?
00:56:50.000In particular, did people who are not, as Charlie would say, four out of four Republicans, did those people tune in and see what was being said?
00:56:59.000Honestly, Blake, it was compared to a presidential.
00:57:02.000I think we expected it to be less, but not that.
00:57:06.000It's not as much as if you're on the right, you would have hoped for.
00:58:10.000The current amount of ad spend from the Senate leadership funds, Texas PAC, in the Texas Senate race in their markets, totals $50.2 million.
00:58:43.000And I got to tell you, that announcement came from weeks of hard work behind the scenes from a lot of different people coming at them from all sides, effectively shaming the Republican establishment class, the donor establishment class, shaming them, shaming leaders, and basically threatening is another way to put it.
00:59:01.000Like, look, if you do this, and I'm not going to get into phone calls I have had in the past couple of weeks, but I don't care if you like Ken Paxton or not.
00:59:09.000Let me put this as clearly as I can to everybody right now.
00:59:12.000Texas is the biggest electoral college vote piece in the Republican coalition puzzle.
00:59:17.000If you lose this Senate race this time, you will embolden Democrats.
00:59:21.000I have seen this story happen over the years many times.
00:59:24.000Virginia, actually, California, Virginia, Georgia, and then they become incredibly difficult to come back.
00:59:31.000Colorado, Nevada just came back, and it's a hard battleground state each time.
01:01:08.000Next door, I'm more bullish on Minnesota, and I will give you the landscape on Michigan, but I really do think there was a poll out last week.
01:01:15.000Everyone got a little shocked because that same poll had Florida close, but also had Minnesota close.
01:01:20.000We're going to have Minnesota pretty close, too.
01:01:23.000And I think it's because, yes, Democrats elected Peggy Flanagan when we were pulling for Lindell over the summer, which I wish Lindell would have done another poll before the election.
01:02:00.000And there are third parties on that ballot as well.
01:02:02.000And Minnesota has a long history of voting for third parties.
01:02:05.000Now, The same will be true of Michigan, but this is the problem.
01:02:08.000And Minnesota, people could say, well, Rich, it's the same thing.
01:02:12.000It's just that what is the state that voted for Bernie Sanders and upset was the biggest midterm presidential, excuse me, it was the biggest presidential primary era since Gary Hart in New Hampshire decades before?
01:02:25.000Which state overshocked the world and voted for Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton, even though she had a huge lead?
01:02:33.000Which state, many of those voters that were openly calling themselves socialists, Then drifted over to Donald Trump instead of voting for the establishment left wing candidate Hillary Clinton in the fall.
01:02:45.000That was, I mean, it's the state of Michigan.
01:02:47.000The southeastern Michigan is a funny animal, guys.
01:02:50.000And the Ann Arbor area has gotten significantly more liberal over time.
01:02:56.000There's a reason he's not disavowing or whatever you want to call it, Hassan Piker.
01:03:00.000And it's because there are 140,000, 150,000 Muslim votes there.0.66
01:03:05.000And they're really pissed about the war.
01:03:07.000And he doesn't want to upset a part of his base that he knows he can count on to come out.
01:03:12.000And, you know, I look, I take this guy as a bigger threat than most, I think, because at the end of the day, and we're doing the political violence survey again, at the end of the day, Democrats, even if they call themselves moderate, they don't cross over.
01:03:28.000They didn't cross over for Mayoris for the Attorney General's race in Virginia.
01:03:35.000They lied to us about a week until, two weeks until the election.
01:03:38.000And they said, I may cross over, I may not vote.
01:05:23.000And the reason is because our country.
01:05:29.000All right, that's President Trump doubling down on something he said at the midterm RNC, which is that he, if we hold the House and the Senate, and obviously we've got the presidency for two more years, if we keep control, he's going to reward the country with $5,000 dividend checks.
01:05:46.000Rich, a question for you How is that polling?
01:05:50.000Because as a deficit hawk, instantly I'm like, hold on.
01:05:54.000We can't be printing money out of thin air.
01:05:56.000That's how we got ourselves in this mess.
01:05:59.000But for normies, and they hear, oh, it's maybe $5,000 for me, $5,000 for my spouse, that's $10,000.
01:06:07.000That could make a big difference in normal people's lives.
01:06:30.000And I think that there's a lot of people that are in a lot of trouble and hurting pretty badly in this country.
01:06:35.000I just quote tweeted the president's post about this on True Social with generally like just the reality of it, which is I don't think it's good policy either.
01:06:49.000So, you know, Democrats are going to come in and they're going to try to talk about freebies up and down, Andrew.0.98
01:06:54.000So until we learn how to slide back the, you know, like the New Deal and until we learn how to slide back this culture that is, Taking root in our country, you know, they might as well just line up behind Trump.
01:07:05.000Because let me tell you what the voters said on this.
01:07:08.000One, there's a credibility issue, which is why Republicans should get back to Congress and lean into what the president's saying and try to actually pass something to make it look like they're behind him in something, some way, shape, or form, because there's a credibility issue.
01:07:21.000And people said, look, Republicans promised us this a few times already and we didn't get it.
01:07:26.000The other thing that people said was, you know, like as far as that argument, you know, in response to what you're saying, people would respond like very simply if you can write a blank check to a government, this government, that government, Ukraine, Israel, you can give me 5K.
01:07:42.000If you can give corporate corporations who are making billions of dollars, Fortune 500 companies, all of these tax breaks, you can give me 5K.
01:07:50.000And I know that's not what conservatives want to hear.
01:08:05.000It may even, maybe I could bail us out on this one.
01:08:07.000Do you worry it's, for lack of a better idiom, it's eating the seed corn of politics that it does feel like 5K for everyone?
01:08:15.000I think the figure was a $1.5 trillion total figure.
01:08:20.000The Republicans probably won't pass that next year, even if they win.0.87
01:08:25.000And then you'd go into 28, and the number one thing they can say is, well, they lied about that, and you're just screwed.
01:08:30.000Well, that's ultimately a problem with the Republican Party, though.
01:08:35.000I mean, of course, I do worry about that, but I think I worry more that we're going to lose, you know, and they're going to do this, period.
01:08:49.000Realize how fast we're approaching 50 trillion, and then listening to the gentleman on what is pushing that.
01:08:55.000Conservatives love to talk about the nanny state, which is true, and rightfully, they should.
01:09:01.000But the military spending in this country, the military industrial complex is raping this country.
01:09:06.000And most people aren't going to care about the debt that's being racked up from Social Security or some health care program when there's all of this money that nobody ever even dares to talk about touching.
01:09:19.000So, we're going to lose this argument and then lose these elections.
01:09:23.000And then it's just going to be, you know, free money for everybody until the thing comes cranking down.
01:09:29.000So, I mean, it's unfortunate product to where we are, you know, right now.
01:09:46.000But he's saying, hey, let's provide some money to, you know, Married couples where the mom stays at home, the dad goes to work, and instead of sending your kids to government run daycare centers, this is going to help offset some of the costs for working families.
01:10:06.000Listen, if it's what I heard the vice president talking about, and I, and you said you, and I'm just being clear because you said I'm not sure whether they're attributing this to him, but I did hear something that he said that is on this policy.
01:10:18.000And if it's that, then that's ladder politics, clear as can be.
01:10:22.000And I know you can't read the title right there, but, um, We're just in a period, guys.
01:10:29.000So, this idea that we're going to like roll back the clock with conservative principles, it's just not going to happen.
01:10:35.000So, you know, this we don't have to give people a handout, but there is a difference between a handout and a hand up.
01:10:41.000And given the deficit that we put young people and young families in through no fault of their own, let's be real, they didn't, you know, they didn't stack on like young millennial family didn't stack on this trillions and trillions in debt, they didn't put these programs together.
01:10:57.000Until we handle that, And address that, then it's going to be the reality of our world.
01:11:03.000You know, you try to talk about tax cuts for corporations that are going to, you know, give fans.
01:12:07.000This is where I was going to go with this, honestly.
01:12:10.000And I think maybe this, maybe, you know, uh, Surprising for some people to hear, but I have my pollster hat on and then I have my own views.
01:12:16.000I know flock people will instantly look at it like, oh, it's a surveillance state.
01:12:21.000Not if it's not hurting your own people.
