Summary

Sen. Kamala Harris is running against Joe Biden in the Democratic primary for the 2020 presidential election. She is a serious contender and has a chance to win the nomination if she decides to get into the race. But is it possible for her to defeat Joe Biden? Will she be able to defeat him? Is it possible that she will lose the primary? Or will she come home the winner and become the next president of the United States? What s the difference between Kamala and Biden and why it s going to be a close race between two people who have a lot in common except that they are both Jewish and a woman. Today's episode is a mashup of two clips from two of my favorite Kamala speeches I've ever given. I hope you enjoy it and tweet me if you do! Timestamps: 1:00:00 - Kamala vs. Joe Biden - Who's going to win? 2:30 - Is she a serious candidate or not? 3:15 - Why she's running for president? 4:00 Is she an outsider? 5:20 - What does she know about Afghanistan? 6:40 - What is her record? 7:30 8:00- Why she should run for President? 9:15 Does she have a shot at winning the nomination? 11:30- Is she running for President or is she running to be the next President of the USA? 12: Is she really running for the country? 13: Who's the most authentic? 14:00 | What is she a feminist? 15:00 Is she the most progressive? 16:10 - Does she really have a chance of winning the election? 17:10 18:40 19:15 | What s she really think of J.D. 00:01:38.000 I think we have to view this race as analogous to World War One.
00:01:43.000 The race against Joe Biden was the sort of political race that you want to run.
00:01:47.000 Donald Trump got to be aggressive and free-willing.
00:01:49.000 His opponent was paralyzed and inept.
00:01:52.000 Looking back, should we have even debated in June?
00:01:56.000 We probably should have waited until he was the nominee.
00:01:58.000 But it is what it is and lessons were learned.
00:02:01.000 The Democrats were under attack by their own allies in the media.
00:02:04.000 They were in a civil war between the Israel wing and the pro-Hamas terrorists.
00:02:08.000 Donors were fleeing.
00:02:10.000 Now things are very different.
00:02:12.000 Kamala is in the race and things have legitimately reset.
00:02:17.000 Does that mean we're going to lose now?
00:02:18.000 Not by any measure.
00:02:19.000 Does that mean we're going to win automatically?
00:02:21.000 Not by any measure.
00:02:22.000 But it means that winning is going to be a grind.
00:02:27.000 The race against Biden was like America in World War II.
00:02:30.000 We were stronger, faster, and had more resources than our enemy.
00:02:34.000 We got to Berlin ahead of schedule.
00:02:38.000 The race against Kamala, this one is going to be like World War I. A tough, slow, trench warfare grind.
00:02:49.000 Kamala has the press and the regime media on her side.
00:02:53.000 They're crafting outrageous lies to memory hole things, like Kamala being the Border Czar.
00:02:58.000 Just this morning, the New York Times wrote a story.
00:03:02.000 They said, well, she was never the Border Czar, but she was in charge of stemming migration from Central American countries.
00:03:08.000 How'd that go?
00:03:09.000 She was in charge of something and she oversaw the greatest invasion in American history.
00:03:15.000 You see, they're trying to present Kamala Harris as an outsider.
00:03:18.000 She doesn't talk about her record because she doesn't have a record.
00:03:21.000 She's responsible for the war in Ukraine.
00:03:24.000 She's responsible for the open border crisis.
00:03:26.000 She's responsible for the invasion.
00:03:30.000 The media is out in a full Blitzkrieg manner.
00:03:36.000 They're smearing a normal Midwest dad, J.D.
00:03:39.000 Vance, as weird.
00:03:41.000 Meanwhile, you got a bunch of tranny freaks running all over the place in the White House.
00:03:44.000 They changed Easter to the Transgender Day of Awareness.
00:03:48.000 You got Kamala Harris writing letters to Dylan Mulvaney and ignoring service members.
00:03:53.000 Here is a fact for you.
00:03:54.000 Do you know that Kamala Harris has not called or even said the name of the 13 service members that died in the withdrawal of Afghanistan, but she wrote a personal letter to Dylan Mulvaney, a mentally disturbed young man who calls himself a young girl, a teenage girl.
00:04:13.000 She wrote a letter to Dylan Mulvaney, but she won't say the names of the families and or the individuals that died in Kabul during that horrendous withdrawal.
00:04:26.000 But they're smearing J.D.
00:04:27.000 Vance as weird.
00:04:28.000 Why is J.D.
00:04:28.000 Vance weird?
00:04:29.000 Oh, because he's loyally married with three children and living the American dream.
00:04:35.000 Kamala is reunifying parts of the left by pivoting on their losing issues.
00:04:39.000 Instead of angering both pro and anti-Israel factions, she's attacking Hamas supporters far more decisively than Biden ever did.
00:04:48.000 Kamala got the donors' money back, and she's pandering much harder to Silicon Valley.
00:04:53.000 Bringing down Kamala Harris and defeating her is going to be a challenge.
00:04:58.000 Just like in years past, we have to fight not just the Democrats, but also the media, the deep state, and the ruling elites.
00:05:06.000 In World War I, you would fight for four years to gain a few miles before finally winning.
00:05:13.000 The previous campaign that ended when Joe Biden dropped out a week and a half ago was a test of energy, resources, and strategy.
00:05:22.000 What is this new campaign?
00:05:24.000 This new campaign is a test of the will.
00:05:29.000 This campaign is going to test how badly do we want to win?
00:05:34.000 Who wants it more?
00:05:36.000 And right now the Democrats, they have a lot of energy because they've been able to rest for the last couple of years.
00:05:42.000 They haven't been doing the work.
00:05:43.000 They've kind of just been taking it off.
00:05:46.000 Who is going to do more work?
00:05:47.000 Who is going to chase more ballots?
00:05:49.000 Who is going to register more voters?
00:05:51.000 And it is a 50-50 election.
00:05:55.000 And you better believe they are going to lie, steal, cheat, all of it.
00:06:00.000 But like World War I, it's going to be one step forward, two steps back.
00:06:04.000 Two steps forward, one step back.
00:06:07.000 All this effort to barely be able to gain an inch.
00:06:11.000 Democrats could be peaking at the right time.
00:06:14.000 Having more energy when no ballots are being cast doesn't matter.
00:06:17.000 We had a great RNC a couple weeks ago.
00:06:19.000 Doesn't matter.
00:06:21.000 The Democrats are experiencing what they call the Lazarus campaign.
00:06:25.000 They were dead and suddenly they have new life.
00:06:27.000 And that has a serious psychological impact.
00:06:33.000 Now I don't necessarily believe that, I think this poll is largely trash, but this is the World War One election.
00:06:39.000 The Bloomberg Morning Consult poll shows Trump down 11 in Michigan.
00:06:44.000 Trump losing by 2 in Arizona.
00:06:47.000 Losing by 2 in Wisconsin.
00:06:50.000 Losing by 2 in Nevada.
00:06:52.000 Tied in Georgia.
00:06:53.000 And Trump up 4 in Pennsylvania.
00:06:56.000 And up 2 in North Carolina.
00:06:59.000 Now there's a lot wrong with this poll.
00:07:00.000 It's been picked apart by objective observers.
00:07:04.000 But this is the World War I type data.
00:07:07.000 Where you get good news, you get bad news, you get bad news, you get good news.
00:07:12.000 The days of us running up against Joe Biden are over.
00:07:15.000 And it requires now a grassroots hustle and a test of fortitude.
00:07:21.000 I had somebody come up to me the other day, asking for a selfie.
00:07:23.000 You know, they were registered to vote to their credit.
00:07:25.000 And they said, what do we have to do to win?
00:07:27.000 I said, you have to dedicate every five-year being to win.
00:07:29.000 It has to be your obsession.
00:07:31.000 And he said, well, I don't know about that.
00:07:34.000 He's like, good luck.
00:07:35.000 I'll support Turning Point.
00:07:37.000 This is the, again, there are, and that's fine.
00:07:39.000 There are a lot of Sunshine Patriots and Summer Soldiers.
00:07:43.000 A lot of people.
00:07:44.000 They like watching politics like I watch Oregon Ducks football.
00:07:48.000 They kind of watch it from afar.
00:07:50.000 They're cheering for the team, hoping it works out.
00:07:53.000 Doesn't go in their way.
00:07:53.000 They turn off the TV and they go to work next day.
00:07:57.000 And just so we're clear on the poll.
00:08:01.000 There's almost no world where Trump is up four in Pennsylvania and down 11 in Michigan.
00:08:07.000 That world does not exist.
00:08:09.000 So the data is probably screwed up there.
00:08:12.000 But the Democrats are surging and they are raising hundreds of millions of dollars right now.
00:08:15.000 Hundreds of millions of dollars.
00:08:18.000 And the idea of trench warfare is that it's going to be ugly.
00:08:22.000 It's going to be nasty.
00:08:24.000 You're not going to feel as if you're advancing the line very much.
00:08:29.000 And both sides are now going to dig in, and it will come down to the couple hundred votes there, a couple hundred votes there, a couple thousand votes there.
00:08:38.000 And the Democrats, they are reinvigorated.
00:08:41.000 They will have a war chest the likes of which we have never seen before.
00:08:45.000 Billions and billions and billions of dollars.
00:08:48.000 We will be outspent, but the question remains, and I don't yet know the answer, will we be outworked?
00:08:56.000 I don't know the answer to that.
00:08:58.000 Will we care more than the Democrats?
00:09:01.000 Harris gave them a temporary sugar high and morale boost.
00:09:06.000 Harris gave them a temporary little sugar blast.
00:09:11.000 Is it sustainable?
00:09:13.000 That's the question.
00:09:14.000 But I hope everybody understands that we are, what, 97 days out from counting day?
00:09:19.000 We are, we're literally like 41 days, I have the counter here, out from North Carolina beginning voting.
00:09:25.000 North Carolina starts voting in 37 days.
00:09:28.000 Pennsylvania starts voting in 47 days.
00:09:31.000 Wisconsin starts voting in 55 days.
00:09:35.000 Arizona starts voting in 68 days.
00:09:39.000 And the Democrats are going to have energy and enthusiasm.
00:09:41.000 The question is, can we gather ourselves and understand that this trench warfare will be a test of the will?
00:09:48.000 And if we fall short, it'll be because they wanted it more than us.
00:09:55.000 Can you feel it now?
00:09:56.000 Something even bigger is coming.
00:09:58.000 Your God-given freedoms are up for the taking.
00:10:01.000 Even worse, those doing the taking are the same people who've sworn to defend your freedom.
00:10:06.000 They think they can violate your right to protect your own family.
00:10:09.000 They think they can force their delusions onto your kids.
00:10:13.000 They think they can control the media and hide the truth.
00:10:16.000 But you know what they can't take away?
00:10:19.000 Self-reliance and peace of mind.
00:10:21.000 You got water filtration?
00:10:22.000 Well, you should.

00:11:17.000 Should Donald Trump debate Kamala Harris?
00:11:21.000 And here's my opinion on this.
00:11:23.000 Absolutely yes.
00:11:24.000 However, do not do a one-on-one debate with Kamala Harris.
00:11:29.000 Do not do a Trump versus Kamala Harris debate.
00:11:33.000 Instead, demand a town hall debate.
00:11:38.000 Instead, Do a debate where voters ask the questions.
00:11:42.000 We don't need to see Trump and Kamala Harris go back and forth.
00:11:46.000 I don't think that is fruitful for anybody.
00:11:48.000 In 2016, Donald Trump's best debate by far was the town hall debate with Hillary Clinton.
00:11:56.000 Donald Trump is amazing when he comes in contact with everyday Americans.
00:11:59.000 Kamala Harris is cold, insincere, rehearsed, theatrical.
00:12:05.000 Donald Trump is warm, funny, enigmatic.
00:12:10.000 Kamala is not great on her feet.
00:12:13.000 Kamala Harris will have to look at the eyes of a regular everyday voter.
00:12:17.000 Trump is a powerhouse when it comes to this.
00:12:20.000 So do several debates with Kamala Harris, but say, my condition is that we only take questions from real Americans.
00:12:26.000 And what that does is it effectively neuters the bias of the moderator.
00:12:32.000 Now, Kandi Crowley, I think, was one of the moderators, if I'm remembering correctly, in 2016.
00:12:35.000 She wasn't... I don't know whatever happened to Kandi Crowley.
00:12:38.000 She used to be around a lot.
00:12:40.000 But the debate in the town hall back in 2012 was Mitt Romney's weakest debate and Barack Obama's strongest debate.
00:12:49.000 You might remember Obama, he rolled up his sleeves and he did the whole, I'm there with you.
00:12:54.000 And if you remember also, it was Bill Clinton's best debate when there was a question about Social Security.
00:13:03.000 And George H.W.
00:13:04.000 Bush gave this hyper-technocratic answer about cutting Social Security for the debt.
00:13:10.000 And Bill Clinton said, I feel your pain.
00:13:14.000 I feel your pain.
00:13:16.000 And at that moment, they say the entire election was won.
00:13:19.000 Town halls in presidential debate history have always generated the most viral, decisive moments for the better candidate on their feet.
00:13:29.000 A one-on-one debate I don't think is a good format for President Trump.
00:13:33.000 Meaning, if it's just them back and forth like we saw with the Joe Biden debate.
00:13:37.000 The Town Hall typically favors the most authentic person, the better candidate, the better story, the better message, and even if they rig it with a bunch of bad questions, Trump can do the, well, you'd be in jail.
00:13:50.000 He can do his talent of being able to respond.
00:13:55.000 And by the way, That debate, if you remember the context of the town hall debate back in 2016, when Donald Trump took questions from voters, that was days after the Billy Bush tape.
00:14:08.000 Days after.
00:14:09.000 And it saved and turned Donald Trump's campaign, the Access Hollywood tape, from people thought that he was in a very bad spot, and just the physical contrast.
00:14:23.000 One of my favorite parts is when Donald Trump would be walking in the background when Hillary Clinton was answering questions.
00:14:31.000 Play cut 89.
00:14:33.000 It's just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.
00:14:40.000 because you'd be in jail. Secretary Clinton.
00:14:47.000 Just from a body language standpoint, alpha, you'd be in jail perfectly delivered.
00:14:54.000 So absolutely you should debate Kamala Harris.
00:14:58.000 But do it standing up, with handheld mics, roving around, taking questions from voters.
00:15:04.000 Let the beast roam free.
00:15:08.000 With the kind of static and making Trump stand at one place and go back and forth and you got these cut images and Kamala Harris is going to say, and she flails her hands when she talks, I don't know if you noticed this, and you're going to be unburdened by what has been and you're going to be in the future of what can be and I'm a prosecutor and he's a felon, we got all that.
00:15:25.000 Okay?
00:15:25.000 We have to try to get this out of the prepackaged talking points and hear from actual voters.
00:15:32.000 Why?
00:15:32.000 Because the issue set favors us.
00:15:34.000 There's only so much that they could do.
00:15:36.000 Eventually, there will be a question from a voter, I can't afford groceries.
00:15:41.000 I can't buy a home.
00:15:43.000 There will be a question from a voter that I can't afford to fill up my tank of gas.
00:15:47.000 There will be a question from a voter saying, Illegal immigration is destroying my state.
00:15:53.000 At that moment, Kamala Harris has to look in the eyes of a human being, which is something they don't want to do for that.
00:16:00.000 This robotic, synthetic, fake, cackling, cruel, heartless communist from California has to engage with the underclass of actual voters and she has to perform.
00:16:14.000 And to be honest with you, Biden would have done well in that.
00:16:18.000 Biden is very good at being fake sincere.
00:16:20.000 He'd say, what's your name, pal?
00:16:23.000 Let me tell you.
00:16:25.000 We're going to do the non-senile Biden.
00:16:28.000 Debate.
00:16:29.000 Do it as a town hall with an audience.
00:16:31.000 Take questions from real voters.
00:16:35.000 So, Kamala Harris is trying to introduce herself to the American people.
00:16:39.000 And I'm sure her team sat and thought, and they said, okay, what celebrity, what person is able to put on a presentation that best captures the life, work, and experience of Kamala Harris?
00:16:56.000 What celebrity is able to distill The work that Kamala Harris did to climb the ladder with such great and focused ambition to be able to become Vice President and maybe President of the United States.
00:17:15.000 And somebody said, aha, there's someone who perfectly captures the persona, the attitude, and the core values of Kamala Harris.
00:17:28.000 Play cut 76.
00:17:30.000 They don't get it this me on my feet through the quarantine.
00:17:34.000 Yeah, I'm very well. Come on. Yes, you can tell me not people musical. It's beefing by myself
00:17:39.000 Yeah I
00:17:46.000 Don't think I'll pay you Yeah, but J.D.
00:18:01.000 Vance is weird because he wants you to have kids.
00:18:04.000 So this is a celebrity by the name of Megan Thee Stallion.
00:18:09.000 Not exactly my expertise, but my Gen Z correspondent, Daisy, has educated me on this.
00:18:17.000 These are the lyrics that Miss Stallion was saying.
00:18:21.000 Again, it's just perfect Kamala Harris core values here.
00:18:25.000 They gonna click if it's me.
00:18:28.000 All my bees are getting these n-words through the quarantine.
00:18:33.000 Yeah.
00:18:34.000 I'm very well on my s-word, as you could tell.
00:18:39.000 Am I allowed to say this next word?
00:18:42.000 Am I allowed to say that?
00:18:44.000 Any hoe got beef from years ago is beefing by herself.
00:18:48.000 Aha.
00:18:49.000 If we took a real trip on the real creep trip.
00:18:53.000 They might say, Charlie, what is- This is the warm-up act for Kamala Harris.
00:18:57.000 And this is where it gets great.
00:18:59.000 Body, body, body, body, body, body.
00:19:02.000 Body, crazy, curvy, waving, big, let's just say breasts.
00:19:06.000 Lil waist.
00:19:07.000 Body, crazy, curvy, waving, big, breasts.
00:19:09.000 Lil waist.
00:19:11.000 She continued on her wholesome family tour in an attempt to win over nuclear families and baby boomer voters in Cut 84.
00:19:19.000 I'm a savage, yeah.
00:19:21.000 Classic, bougie, ratchet, hey.
00:19:24.000 Sexy, booty, nasty, yeah.
00:19:27.000 Acting stupid, what's happening?
00:19:30.000 What's happening?
00:19:31.000 I'm a savage, yeah.
00:19:33.000 I'm a savage.
00:19:35.000 Classy, bougie, ratchet.
00:19:37.000 That's right.
00:19:38.000 Sassy, moody, nasty.
00:19:42.000 Acting stupid.
00:19:42.000 What's happening?
00:19:44.000 B-word.
00:19:44.000 What's happening?
00:19:46.000 I'm a savage.
00:19:47.000 Classy, bougie, ratchet.
00:19:50.000 Sassy, moody, nasty.
00:19:53.000 And it all makes sense.
00:19:55.000 And they say, oh wow, this is in the tradition of Kamala Harris.
00:20:05.000 So Kamala Harris has this big event in Atlanta and she has Megan Thee Stallion come up, do her little routine.
00:20:17.000 With lyrics that are not... I mean, I wouldn't even say it's family-friendly.
00:20:20.000 It's the opposite of family-friendly.
00:20:22.000 But it's okay, everybody.
00:20:24.000 I know you might be very worried that the Megan Thee Stallion vote might come out in major, major numbers.
00:20:31.000 But rest assured, it's okay.
00:20:32.000 Because Kamala Harris... Those are Kamala Harris's values.
00:20:36.000 Dancing around in a very ratchet manner, talking about, let's just say, your body.
00:20:42.000 Donald Trump, by contrast, spoke at the Believer Summit, the Bitcoin Conference, going to the Black Journalism Conference today, and having a rally in Pennsylvania.
00:20:50.000 J.D.
00:20:50.000 Vance, rally in Reno, Glendale, Arizona, talking about family formation, having children, lower taxes, no tax on social security, no tax on tips, sealing the border, peace in the Middle East, peace in Ukraine.
00:21:02.000 What agenda do you want, America?
00:21:04.000 The Megan Thee Stallion body savage agenda?
00:21:08.000 Or the Make America Great Again agenda?

00:22:15.000 Joining us now is Senator Rick Scott.
00:22:17.000 Senator, thank you for joining us.
00:22:19.000 Can you give us the latest out of Venezuela?
00:22:21.000 My understanding is that you have been communicating to freedom fighters on the ground there.
00:22:26.000 Tell us the latest.
00:22:28.000 So clearly the opposition won.
00:22:31.000 So I talked to Maria Carina Marchato.
00:22:33.000 You should all admire her.
00:22:36.000 She had the courage to fight in a socialist country.
00:22:39.000 Uh, with her life was always at risk.
00:22:41.000 Uh, right now they're trying to arrest her, uh, along with all the opposition leaders, but it's clear she won.
00:22:47.000 Uh, she got, she has the tally sheets.
00:22:50.000 We've put those out.
00:22:51.000 Uh, so I'm going to do everything I can to support her and get everybody I can, every democracy in the world to acknowledge that Gonzalo and Mundo Gonzalez won, uh, the vote.
00:23:03.000 So I'm, I called the White House.
00:23:05.000 Uh, Biden hasn't called me back.
00:23:08.000 I've called everybody I can think of to say we've got to be vocal, we've got to get out there, we've got to tell what the results were.
00:23:15.000 I'm glad the Carter Center came out and said that the election, there was irregularities in the election.
00:23:24.000 So this is our chance.
00:23:26.000 It doesn't mean it's going to happen.
00:23:28.000 Maduro's trying to steal another election.
00:23:29.000 Biden helped him by reducing the sanctions with a commitment that there would be free and fair elections.
00:23:36.000 There was an election, not free and fair, but even an unfair election, the opposition won.
00:23:41.000 So Maduro needs to leave.
00:23:42.000 I'm working every day to try to get everybody in the world to rally behind the opposition so we get Freedom and liberty for the people of Venezuela.
00:23:51.000 So I understand that there's quite a story here that the opposition kept track of the vote by having poll watchers all across the country and they counted.
00:23:59.000 Can you tell us more about that?
00:24:00.000 Yeah, they kept track of the votes.
00:24:04.000 Now, first off, you have a right if you're not in Venezuela to vote, but Maduro didn't let them do that.
00:24:09.000 I mean, think about it, there's millions of people that clearly would have voted for the opposition, not Maduro, because they left because of Maduro.
00:24:14.000 But even with that, she kept track, and then she released those numbers.
00:24:20.000 Now, what Maduro did was he lied about numbers, just made up some numbers saying he got 51% of the vote, has no background, no data, no anything.
00:24:30.000 Um, and so what we've got to do is, um, is really respect what she did and then get, I mean, the keys are going to be.
00:24:39.000 Biden, Lula, the president of Mexico.
00:24:44.000 We've got a lot of countries in Latin America that have called out Maduro for what he did.
00:24:48.000 You have to really admire Malay down in Argentina.
00:24:52.000 So this is our shot.
00:24:55.000 This is our shot to show the world that one, liberty and freedom can win.
00:25:00.000 And two, we've got to get rid of this murderous dictator.
00:25:04.000 So I'm going to do everything I can to get Biden to do the right thing.
00:25:08.000 Hopefully Trump will weigh in here.
00:25:10.000 We're going to get everybody to get the world community on board.
00:25:14.000 So yeah, what potential levers do we have to do this?
00:25:19.000 Because Maduro's just saying, I'm in charge, you're not.
00:25:22.000 Elections.
00:25:23.000 I won the election.
00:25:24.000 Safe, fair, and effective is what they're saying.
00:25:27.000 And so what potentially could America and the countries of Colombia or Brazil... I mean, Lula is a communist.
00:25:35.000 Is Lula really going to pair up here?
00:25:38.000 They share a major border with Venezuela.
00:25:42.000 Brazil carries a lot of power in that hemisphere.
00:25:45.000 What could potentially be done here?
00:25:47.000 Well, number one, everybody that speaks highly of what the opposition is doing helps them on the ground.
00:25:53.000 So they're clearly protesting in Venezuela now.
00:25:58.000 Every time we stand with them, it gives them energy.
00:26:01.000 You can see it.
00:26:02.000 it, they've toppled the statue of Chavez.
00:26:06.000 So that helps them.
00:26:07.000 That's number one.
00:26:07.000 Number two is, is if we can get every democracy in the world, whether, I
00:26:13.000 mean, whether somebody is a lefty or not, they should believe in the freedom of
00:26:18.000 the vote and And if they do that, there's a greater chance that Maduro will be set out there by himself.
00:26:24.000 He'll be a pariah.
00:26:26.000 Uh, and then people will do sanctions.
00:26:28.000 So right now we can do what we need to do is put in the Trump sanctions again against Maduro and everybody around him that Biden, you know, the Biden reduced, um, to, um, uh, with the commitment that we'd get a free and fair election, which we didn't get, although we still won.
00:26:44.000 So I think it's just, it's, you just, you know, this is our shot.
00:26:49.000 We've got to do everything we can.
00:26:50.000 It's still hard.
00:26:53.000 But if the whole world community, no different than how we got rid of apartheid in South Africa, if the whole world community shows up and says, Maduro, you've got to leave power, then we've got a shot here.
00:27:05.000 So, and I think that's really necessary.
00:27:07.000 The people are in the streets.
00:27:08.000 If Maduro continues to hold on to power, I'm hearing that there could be potentially five more million people leaving Venezuela to Central America.
00:27:18.000 So this has serious ramifications and serious hemispheric implications, correct?
00:27:24.000 Yeah.
00:27:25.000 I mean, there are so many people who have come to the United States.
00:27:27.000 I mean, people have come to Colombia.
00:27:29.000 They've gone to Chile.
00:27:30.000 They've gone to Brazil.
00:27:31.000 They've gone all over because there's no opportunity for them or their children.
00:27:35.000 And so there will continue to be an exodus from the country and the country will continue to fall into what Cuba's done.
00:27:43.000 Just complete squalor where only the government officials do well and everybody else is oppressed.
00:27:50.000 That's what's happened.
00:27:52.000 It'll just continue to get worse and worse and worse.
00:27:54.000 So, Senator, I want to get to your hearing here that you had with the Secret Service, and I know this is a difficult question, but is there anything that you are studying and observing on the ground in Venezuela that you worry that it's far too similar to some of the patterns we've seen here in America as far as people do not have trust in their elections, people that feel as if that there's a ruling class that's disconnected from them?
00:28:20.000 We should take what's happening in Venezuela very seriously.
00:28:23.000 You know, Charlie, absolutely.
00:28:26.000 You look at, we have lost trust in government, and who's done that to us?
00:28:31.000 Government.
00:28:31.000 I mean, look at this, the shooting, the assassination attempt with Trump.
00:28:37.000 So, why hasn't, this is what, 18 days, why hasn't Homeland Security, why hasn't Secret Service, why hasn't FBI done daily briefings?
00:28:48.000 When I had the post nightclub shooting, where 49 people were killed, we did two or
00:28:54.000 three briefings a day with local, state, and federal law enforcement.
00:28:57.000 We gave people information as we had it.
00:28:59.000 Well, we didn't know, we didn't know, we told them that.
00:29:01.000 So did the same thing after the Parkland school shooting.
00:29:04.000 The federal government is causing people to, they're causing this mistrust.
00:29:09.000 Like at Church on Sunday, people come up to me and said, is it really a second shooter?
00:29:13.000 Do you really trust that this was an inside job?
00:29:16.000 And so, how can I answer it if I don't get any answers from people?
00:29:20.000 That's right.
00:29:21.000 I can't say, you know, it's a black eye.
00:29:24.000 Like I said yesterday, what you got, what I've told this FBI for a long time, you guys have become a black hole.
00:29:30.000 People have lost trust in you.
00:29:32.000 They think the people that work at the FBI at the local level are great.
00:29:35.000 Secret Service is great.
00:29:37.000 Homeland Security employees are great.
00:29:38.000 The leadership is not to be trusted because they will not tell us something.
00:29:42.000 Charlie, if somebody won't answer your question, you believe they're hiding something.
00:29:47.000 It's as simple as that.
00:29:48.000 And that's exactly what they're doing.
00:29:50.000 So, Senator, I want to play a piece of tape here from one of your hearings that you were involved in.
00:29:55.000 Let's play cut 90, please.
00:29:56.000 You should be providing, I mean you should be every day saying, this is what we know now.
00:30:00.000 This is, like Senator Johnson put together a timeline.
00:30:03.000 You should have put together a timeline.
00:30:05.000 You should have immediately put out, this is what we know right now and this is what we don't know.
00:30:09.000 Like we, like you've said, you don't know how the gun got up there.
00:30:13.000 You've said it.
00:30:14.000 That should have been out all along.
00:30:18.000 We're looking at it.
00:30:19.000 It doesn't make any sense.
00:30:20.000 We've done this.
00:30:23.000 I just don't get it.
00:30:26.000 I've said this about the FBI.
00:30:29.000 The people that work at the FBI, the people that work at the Secret Service, they're great people.
00:30:34.000 You're a black hole.
00:30:36.000 You lose the support of the American public because people don't believe you're being direct with them.
00:30:41.000 I say this with a fair amount of sorrow, Senator.
00:30:43.000 I do not trust this current United States Secret Service to keep President Trump safe and alive.
00:30:49.000 Oh, Charlie, think about it.
00:30:51.000 The person that was responsible for that rally, is he doing Trump's next rally?
00:30:56.000 Bingo.
00:30:56.000 Is he doing the next rally?
00:30:58.000 Charlie, in local law enforcement, if there's a local shooting in Florida, that person is put on an administrative leave, not saying they did anything wrong.
00:31:08.000 And then we have a separate group, the State Department of Law Enforcement, that does an investigation.
00:31:14.000 Yeah, so that's a great point.
00:31:14.000 how the shooting happened. No, he didn't say anybody did anything wrong. Has that happened
00:31:18.000 at Secret Service? No, no one has been. No, we don't. You know, no one has been saying,
00:31:24.000 well, yeah, we're not going to let that team or that person run this next event. They might
00:31:30.000 be run the next event. We don't know. Yeah. So that's a great point. Do we know who the
00:31:35.000 agent in charge or the AIC was in Butler, Pennsylvania?
00:31:39.000 No.
00:31:40.000 They've not disclosed anything.
00:31:44.000 No one's been put on leave.
00:31:45.000 No one's been fired.
00:31:46.000 No one's been reprimanded.
00:31:48.000 And they hide behind this, well, we have to do an investigation.
00:31:52.000 Well, right, we should do an investigation.
00:31:56.000 But in the meantime, I don't, I don't, something went wrong.
00:32:01.000 The president of the United States got shot.
00:32:03.000 That's not insignificant.
00:32:05.000 The former president got shot and he's the Republican nominee.
00:32:08.000 That's not, think about if he had been killed, what could have happened in this country?
00:32:14.000 And then they sit there and they don't have any questions?
00:32:16.000 What would the American public think?
00:32:17.000 We still would not be healed.
00:32:19.000 We would be in a state of bedlam, Senator.
00:32:22.000 Right.
00:32:23.000 And so why do they want to lose the trust of the American public?
00:32:28.000 That's exactly what they're doing.
00:32:31.000 So it doesn't make sense to anybody that they're not disclosing information.
00:32:36.000 It just doesn't make sense.
00:32:37.000 And so I'm going to keep bugging them to do it.
00:32:41.000 I mean, Myocrist needs to be on and doing interviews and answer all the questions until they run out of questions.
00:32:47.000 Stop this idea that you have a right to hold back the information until you finish some investigation two or three or four or five years from now.
00:32:55.000 And Senator, at the root of all this, and I saw this in the smugness of the acting director, they think you guys are an annoyance.
00:33:03.000 They think you guys are a peanut gallery that kind of just watches them do their work.
00:33:08.000 When you are a co-equal branch to the executive branch, they work for you.
00:33:15.000 This idea, they think they are superior to the legislative branch.
00:33:19.000 That the legislative branch that you guys offer suggestions And that you guys signed their checks.
00:33:25.000 We need a rebalancing of the constitutional structure in Washington, D.C.
00:33:30.000 Final thoughts, Senator?
00:33:31.000 So, we need to get a majority in the Senate.
00:33:33.000 Yes.
00:33:34.000 And we need to get a majority leader that's going to say, we are going to take responsibility for our job, okay, and not give it out to the executive branch, and we're going to hold them accountable.
00:33:44.000 That's exactly what Congress ought to be doing, and we are not doing it right now.
00:33:48.000 We have your back, Senator.
00:33:49.000 I hope you become Senate Majority Leader.
00:33:50.000 First, we need to win in Montana, and maybe Ohio, and maybe Arizona, working on that.
00:33:55.000 Secondly, we need to make sure you win the conference vote.
00:33:57.000 Senator, thanks so much.
00:33:59.000 Have a good day.
00:33:59.000 Bye-bye.
00:34:00.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:34:01.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:34:03.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
