00:01:30.000 Lots to talk about today.
00:01:32.000 We're finally back in our studio.
00:01:33.000 We've been traveling all week.
00:01:34.000 San Diego.
00:01:36.000 I was in San Francisco yesterday.
00:01:37.000 We will recap that.
00:01:38.000 I was in San Diego doing events there.
00:01:41.000 We are also in Long Beach as well.
00:01:44.000 Lots to cover.
00:01:45.000 And I've been just chomping at the bit to be able to get in on this Tom Tillis story.
00:01:51.000 Andrew did a great job filling in yesterday, talking about...
00:01:56.000 Senator Tom Tillis from North Carolina decided now to oppose Ed Martin as Washington, D.C., U.S. Attorney.
00:02:04.000 So let's set the stage here and set the table.
00:02:07.000 So the D.C. U.S. Attorney is arguably the most important U.S. Attorney when it comes to politics, the president, anything that happens in the jurisdiction of Washington, D.C., which is a lot of power-broking and a lot of activity.
00:02:25.000 Falls under the D.C. U.S. Attorney.
00:02:28.000 Now, the Washington, D.C. U.S. Attorney, in years past, have been enemies of the MAGA movement, have been out of control.
00:02:39.000 The D.C. U.S. Attorney, Matthew Graves, which we'll get back to in a second, was the architect of the out-of-control January 6th behavior.
00:02:48.000 So this is a big one.
00:02:50.000 President Trump...
00:02:51.000 Put in on a temporary and a provisional basis, Ed Martin.
00:02:55.000 Let me tell you about Ed Martin.
00:02:56.000 Ed Martin is the real deal.
00:02:59.000 Ed Martin is part of the Phyllis Schlafly Coalition.
00:03:06.000 Ed Martin literally ran the Phyllis Schlafly Eagles for years.
00:03:15.000 From Missouri, a lawyer, and...
00:03:19.000 A truly committed patriot.
00:03:22.000 Now, I'll fully acknowledge that President Trump picked someone that was very conservative, very outspoken, not your normal kind of cut D.C. U.S. attorney type.
00:03:37.000 He's a threat to the uniparty in Washington, D.C., because he is willing to push the boundaries of what is normal and acceptable in the best possible way.
00:03:46.000 So Ed Martin.
00:03:48.000 In just this couple of weeks, and just with a couple of months of being D.C. U.S. Attorney, has probably been the best-performing U.S. Attorney that President Trump has put in, without a doubt.
00:04:02.000 He's actually gotten stuff done.
00:04:04.000 He has reorganized his office.
00:04:07.000 He's fired bad attorneys in the D.C. office, and that is a tough, difficult, very, very, very Overwhelming assignment.
00:04:18.000 And Ed Martin has taken it with his head down, punching, punching, punching.
00:04:22.000 So President Trump, knowing that Ed Martin has been restoring integrity, has decided now to put Ed Martin as the permanent nominee for D.C. U.S. Attorney.
00:04:33.000 Now, Ed Martin is a bulldog, and that is exactly what we need, and that is what President Trump has earned.
00:04:39.000 President Trump was facing 700 years in federal prison.
00:04:44.000 He gets the D.C. U.S. Attorney that he wants.
00:04:46.000 And remember, he did not get the U.S. Attorney that he wanted.
00:04:50.000 The Senate quietly, before there was a vote, rejected President Donald Trump's Attorney General's nominee, which of course was Matt Gaetz.
00:05:01.000 So then we got Pam Bondi.
00:05:02.000 Okay, I like Pam.
00:05:04.000 But that wasn't Donald Trump's first choice.
00:05:06.000 So now we go to the D.C. U.S. Attorney.
00:05:08.000 And you would think, after President Trump was facing...
00:05:12.000 Nearly a thousand years in federal prison after President Trump has been shot, was spied on by our own intel agencies, you would think that it would be an easy box to check.
00:05:22.000 After he won a popular vote and an electoral vote landslide, the first Republican in 20 years to win a popular vote was George W. Bush in 2004, you would think that President Trump would get the benefit of the doubt.
00:05:37.000 And we are told that we control Congress.
00:05:41.000 We are told that we control the House and the Senate, but do we really?
00:05:47.000 So then Tom Tillis, the U.S. Senator from North Carolina, who is in cycle right now, comes out and does the following.
00:05:55.000 Let's play cut 224.
00:05:57.000 He is, I don't believe he's being advanced to the markup.
00:06:01.000 And I met with Mr. Martin.
00:06:03.000 He seems like a good man.
00:06:06.000 Most of my concerns related to January 6th, and he built a compelling case on some of the 1512 prosecutions that were probably key to the moment bad decisions, but where we probably...
00:06:21.000 I have a difference.
00:06:22.000 I think anybody that breached the perimeter should have been in prison for some period of time.
00:06:26.000 Whether it's 30 days or three years is debatable, but I have no tolerance for anybody who entered the building on January the 6th, and that's probably where most of the friction was.
00:06:35.000 So the difference wasn't that they should be charged, in my estimation, it's by how much.
00:06:40.000 And I've indicated to the White House I wouldn't support his nomination.
00:06:43.000 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:06:44.000 There is a lot of stuff wrong with that.
00:06:46.000 Number one, he is basically saying anyone who breached the perimeter, including Siaka Masakwai, who went into the U.S. Congress for 10 seconds to say a prayer and then left.
00:06:57.000 He's talking about nonviolent people that need to be thrown in jail.
00:07:02.000 He's talking about grandmas that had U.S. constitutions in their purse holding it up.
00:07:08.000 We're not even talking about the violent folks.
00:07:10.000 We're not talking about...
00:07:11.000 The people that smashed windows.
00:07:13.000 We're not talking about the people that hit police officers.
00:07:16.000 You could get a trespassing fine, but Tom Tillis, the reason he's not voting for Ed Martin is the fact that he wants to see prison time for people that, quote, breached the perimeter, even though in certain circumstances police held open the doors.
00:07:32.000 Now, Tom Tillis and I actually agree on one thing.
00:07:36.000 We agree on something fundamental, and it needs to be repeated.
00:07:41.000 I want to see the North Carolina Senate seat remain Republican.
00:07:46.000 It's in cycle.
00:07:48.000 Former governor of North Carolina and very popular Democrat, Roy Cooper, is thinking about running for the North Carolina Senate seat, which would be a very difficult task for anybody, including Tom Tillis, to go up against.
00:08:01.000 So I have agreement with Tom Tillis.
00:08:03.000 I don't want to lose that Senate seat.
00:08:06.000 Be bad.
00:08:08.000 We want President Trump to be able to confirm his nominees.
00:08:10.000 Well, we want President Trump, if there is a Supreme Court justice, to be able to fill it.
00:08:15.000 Easier than not.
00:08:16.000 We do not want to give away Senate seats to Democrats.
00:08:19.000 It is never helpful to do kamikaze missions because it makes you feel good.
00:08:25.000 It is never helpful to go on a suicide pact just to try to teach somebody a lesson.
00:08:30.000 But here is where Tom Tillis is so fundamentally wrong, beyond that ridiculous clip that you just saw.
00:08:37.000 Is that Tom Tillis thinks that by opposing President Trump's nominee for the D.C. U.S. attorney, he thinks that will improve his electoral chances.
00:08:50.000 It's actually going to do the opposite.
00:08:53.000 And I don't mean just in a primary race.
00:08:55.000 I mean in a general election.
00:08:58.000 What Tom Tillis is doing is he is committing a fatal error.
00:09:04.000 The number one factor in Tillis' re-election is President Trump's approval.
00:09:10.000 And there's a reason why Tom Tillis is 20 points less popular in North Carolina than President Donald Trump.
00:09:17.000 And when Trump's administration looks weak, his approval goes down.
00:09:22.000 So what Tom Tillis and all of these D.C. consultants around him say...
00:09:26.000 Stand up to Trump.
00:09:27.000 That will improve your chances in North Carolina.
00:09:29.000 And what will happen is that all of a sudden Tom Tillis will run for the Senate and they'll look at the numbers and Tom Tillis might lose and they'll say, why is it that 500,000 people showed up to vote for Trump and they were nowhere to be found for Tom Tillis?
00:09:45.000 This is why.
00:09:46.000 And this is a broader point that we are going to make this entire hour.
00:09:50.000 Which is people ask a lot about the midterms.
00:09:53.000 And we just had an amazing investor retreat at Turning Point USA in San Diego.
00:09:58.000 And they say, Charlie, what is the key to the midterms?
00:10:00.000 And there's a lot of keys.
00:10:01.000 But the most obvious one is that if you cannot even get close to replicating the electorate that won us the election in 2024, a bunch of people are going to stay at home because why reward senators and congressmen that don't do anything?
00:10:16.000 And they don't understand this.
00:10:18.000 They take MAGA for granted, and you should never take your base for granted.
00:10:22.000 It is the number one fatal flaw that you can make in politics.
00:10:29.000 There's a national focus on eating all the healthiest of foods, and that's great news for Balance of Nature.
00:10:34.000 Their method of producing a vibrant nutritional supplement is second to none.
00:10:38.000 While so many others use chemicals and additives, Balance of Nature is made solely from whole food ingredients.
00:10:44.000 While other methods sacrifice nutritional quality for the sake of profits and volume, Balance in Nature's advanced vacuum-cold process involves freeze-drying the fruits and veggies into a fine powder, helping to retain as much nutritional value as possible.
00:10:58.000 Compared to the other inferior methods, which cut corners at your expense.
00:11:02.000 Balance of Nature packs a nutritional punch, and that's the whole reason for taking Balance of Nature, getting the most nutrition for the sake of your health.

00:11:29.000 And it gets even worse with the Tom Tillis example.
00:11:33.000 Tom Tillis went out of his way to vote for Merrick Garland.
00:11:39.000 This was Tom Tillis' statement when it came to Merrick Garland.
00:11:43.000 Merrick Garland has an outstanding record serving our country and has a deep understanding of the law.
00:11:50.000 His experience reflects his extensive legal knowledge and unbiased application of the law.
00:11:57.000 And his longstanding reputation of bipartisanship has earned the respect from both Democrats and Republicans.
00:12:05.000 After talking to him and participating in his confirmation hearing, I have no doubt he will serve our country well.
00:12:13.000 He voted for Merrick Garland.
00:12:16.000 Tom Tillis did.
00:12:17.000 But it gets even worse.
00:12:19.000 And the reason why I think this is emphasizing is that he's not Susan Collins.
00:12:25.000 If this was Susan Collins doing this, I cut her a lot of slack.
00:12:28.000 She represents Maine.
00:12:30.000 Trump didn't win Maine.
00:12:31.000 He won a singular district in Maine.
00:12:33.000 No, Tom Tillis represents himself to the voters in a different way than how he votes.
00:12:39.000 And for that, you will receive the greatest criticism.
00:12:44.000 When you represent yourself to your voters one way, and you do something the opposite, that is a violation of representative government.
00:12:53.000 It is a breakdown of the consent of the governed.
00:12:56.000 That means you will say one thing to your population and do another.
00:13:01.000 Susan Collins doesn't vote the way we like her to.
00:13:03.000 However, she has voted when we absolutely need her.
00:13:06.000 She is a team player.
00:13:08.000 And she doesn't represent herself as a MAGA person.
00:13:10.000 She goes to her voters and says, I'm going to be an open-minded, independent, center-right Republican.
00:13:17.000 Fine.
00:13:17.000 Thank you, Susan Collins, for giving us another Senate seat.
00:13:20.000 You will not receive criticism on this show.
00:13:22.000 You just won't.
00:13:24.000 But people who will are those that go to their voters and say, I am MAGA.
00:13:29.000 I am Tom Tillis.
00:13:30.000 I stand with President Trump.
00:13:32.000 I represent the red state of North Carolina.
00:13:35.000 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:13:36.000 And then you go and vote this way?
00:13:39.000 Unacceptable.
00:13:40.000 And it gets even worse than that.
00:13:42.000 Tom Tillis voted for Matthew Graves.
00:13:47.000 So Tom Tillis.
00:13:49.000 This is what is so incomprehensible.
00:13:52.000 Tom Tillis voted for Biden's D.C. U.S. attorney, but he won't vote for Trump's U.S. attorney.
00:14:01.000 Tillis approved Tony Blinken.
00:14:03.000 He voted for Janet Yellen.
00:14:05.000 He voted for Lloyd Austin.
00:14:07.000 He voted for Gina Raimondo.
00:14:09.000 He voted for Lisa Monaco, the number two at DOJ.
00:14:13.000 He voted for Pete Buttigieg.
00:14:15.000 And then, of course, Merrick Garland and Matthew Graves.
00:14:20.000 But he won't lift a finger to vote for Ed Martin.
00:14:23.000 And to be honest, before I saw the tape, I thought that Tom Tillis' reason he did not vote for Ed Martin would be like, oh, he was too radical because he was part of the Phyllis Schlafly Eagles.
00:14:36.000 Something like that.
00:14:37.000 I anticipated that.
00:14:39.000 Or he had some social media posts that I don't like.
00:14:42.000 But the reason he gave was that...
00:14:45.000 Oh, I want every single person who breached the perimeter to go to jail from 30 days to 3 years.
00:14:52.000 I'm sorry, breaching the perimeter, Mr. Tillis?
00:14:56.000 This was not Normandy Beach.
00:15:00.000 The vast majority of people on January 6th, the vast majority, waltzed in through an open door.
00:15:07.000 Now, if Tom Tillis' argument would have been, look, I'm still undecided.
00:15:11.000 I think Ed Martin is a little too relaxed on January 6th.
00:15:14.000 It was hard for us.
00:15:16.000 The violent people shouldn't have gotten pardons, but I'm going to try to work through it.
00:15:19.000 That's reasonable.
00:15:21.000 But his argument of all the reasons that you could oppose Ed Martin is that you want to put the people...
00:15:26.000 Look, that's a perfect clip.
00:15:28.000 Thank you, guys.
00:15:29.000 Great pull.
00:15:30.000 Tom Tillis' argument is all those people who are just walking as if they're trying to board a Delta Airlines flight, that they should all go to jail from 30 days?
00:15:40.000 To three years?
00:15:41.000 Look, they're opening the interior of the doors.
00:15:45.000 And I'm not discounting that everybody on January 6th acted properly.
00:15:48.000 Of course not.
00:15:49.000 There were some people that acted improperly.
00:15:52.000 But this is Tom Tillis' argument.
00:15:56.000 His argument is that I'm going to oppose Ed Martin because he does not publicly say that every one of these people should serve huge life sentences.
00:16:06.000 And then the final, and then...
00:16:08.000 The most obvious objection that I would then have for Tom Tillis is, why is this at all applicable?
00:16:13.000 They all got pardons.
00:16:15.000 So why is that question even relevant towards his potential D.C. U.S. Attorneyship?
00:16:21.000 How is that a relevant question?
00:16:24.000 Oh, it's a compass to show us where he's at.
00:16:27.000 You have to wonder, does Tom Tillis actually want to hold on to his U.S. Senate seat?
00:16:33.000 And again, we agree.
00:16:34.000 Tom Tillis and his D.C. consultants agree at the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:16:38.000 We do not want to hand over a U.S. Senate seat.
00:16:42.000 That is bad.
00:16:44.000 No one wants to do that.
00:16:45.000 But that's actually what he's doing.
00:16:48.000 He's actually doing that.
00:16:50.000 We're the ones that are trying to tell him, here's how you keep your Senate seat.
00:16:53.000 You keep your Senate seat by getting the millions of people that only show up for Trump and they will vote for his fighters.
00:17:00.000 And Tom Tillis has given the people in North Carolina no reason to show up for him.
00:17:07.000 Making America Great Again starts with making America healthy again.
00:17:11.000 Charlie Kirk here.
00:17:12.000 I lost 40 pounds with the PhD weight loss and nutrition program.
00:17:15.000 And two years later, I haven't gained a pound back.
00:17:18.000 I started the PhD weight loss program because I need to be healthy to keep up with my crazy schedule.
00:17:23.000 Most people start a weight loss program to get healthier.
00:17:26.000 So why is Big Pharma spending millions to convince you to use their weight loss injections that do just the opposite?
00:17:33.000 They have harmful side effects and lifelong dependency.
00:17:36.000 Take a natural approach that isn't connected to a Big Pharma bottom line.
00:17:41.000 PHD changes the way you think about food.
00:17:43.000 They custom design a plan that is simple and works with your schedule.
00:17:48.000 You'll learn to quiet cravings and finally release the unhealthy belly fat.
00:17:52.000 You won't be hungry and you'll never take medication.
00:17:55.000 Call 864-644-1900 to schedule your one-on-one consultation or visit myphdweightloss.com.
00:18:03.000 That is myphdweightloss.com.
00:18:05.000 864-644-1900.
00:18:09.000 So let's just continue a little bit more on this Tom Tillis theme and I'm going to connect it to the 2026 midterms.
00:18:14.000 Again, we are still a ways out from the midterms, but people are asking about it all the time.
00:18:18.000 Charlie midterms, Charlie midterms.
00:18:19.000 And I always say, we're going to underemphasize the midterms here on this program because the overemphasis on midterm elections prohibits you from governing the way that you should.
00:18:33.000 It disallows you from doing the stuff that the prior voters actually told you what to do or the prior election told you what to do.
00:18:40.000 So I want to de-emphasize it because the over...
00:18:43.000 Fixation of election and midterms and midterms and midterms.
00:18:46.000 It is poisonous.
00:18:48.000 We are too hyper midterm politically focused.
00:18:52.000 And that is the excuse that everyone in D.C. gives.
00:18:55.000 Well, I can't make tough votes because I got a tough election coming up.
00:18:59.000 You were just given your seat in a mandate.
00:19:02.000 And Tom Tillis voted for this guy.
00:19:04.000 He voted for Matthew Graves.
00:19:06.000 He voted for one of Joe Biden's top attack dogs against patriotic Americans.
00:19:12.000 Here is Matthew Graves, who Tom Tillis voted for and refused to vote for Donald Trump.
00:19:19.000 And what happened inside of the building?
00:19:24.000 An important note when it comes to our prosecutions about those who remained outside the building.
00:19:30.000 We have used our prosecutorial discretion to primarily focus on those who entered the building or those who engaged in violent or corrupt conduct on Capitol grounds.
00:19:41.000 But if a person normally entered the restricted area without authorization, they had already committed a federal crime.
00:19:49.000 Make no mistake, thousands of people occupied an area that they were not authorized to be present in in the first place.
00:19:57.000 I now have a great one-liner question that I will use at my final campus tour stop on Friday.
00:20:03.000 I have a great one-liner.
00:20:04.000 Oh, thank you, Matthew Graves.
00:20:06.000 And thank you, Tom Tillis.
00:20:07.000 And I love questions like this, and I learned this from the great Dennis Prager that we should all pray for, which is a what-is-worse question.
00:20:15.000 What is worse, walking into the U.S. Capitol building peacefully or coming across the southern border illegally?
00:20:24.000 What is worse?
00:20:25.000 What deserves more scrutiny from our U.S. attorneys?
00:20:29.000 Now, I'm not even saying both are good.
00:20:33.000 That's not the question.
00:20:34.000 You must make moral judgments.
00:20:36.000 That is what politics is about.
00:20:37.000 You must decide where you should focus your attention.
00:20:41.000 When illegals come into this country, they don't stay within the rope lines.
00:20:45.000 They're also not citizens of the country they're coming into.
00:20:49.000 And I'm not making an excuse for people that were violent.
00:20:52.000 No, that's not the point.
00:20:53.000 That's not what we're talking about here.
00:20:54.000 But I just can't help but think that, well, Matthew Graves says they've already committed a crime.
00:20:58.000 Hey, pal, 15 million people are committing a crime of 8 USC 1312 by not notifying the government of their presence here in America.
00:21:07.000 You can look it up.
00:21:08.000 8 U.S.C.
00:21:09.000 1312.
00:21:09.000 They are currently violating federal law.
00:21:12.000 But Tom Tillis' pal, Matthew Graves, created the largest manhunt in federal government history.
00:21:19.000 You would have thought that on January 6th, somebody detonated a thermonuclear weapon.
00:21:25.000 Also, when people go into the Capitol, they don't end up having anchor babies or undercutting U.S. wages or going on overstretched U.S. welfare programs, but illegals do.
00:21:35.000 So according to Tom Tillis, and according to Matthew Graves, and that whole regime that he supported, those folks that are staying within the rope lines, wearing MAGA hats, taking selfies in the Capitol Rotunda, some of which saying prayers with their pocket constitutions, that is worse than Trente Aragua coming across the southern border and squatting on our homeland.
00:21:58.000 You must develop a moral hierarchy.
00:22:01.000 Everyone must.
00:22:02.000 Some things are worse than others.
00:22:04.000 Stealing a pencil from Walgreens is not morally acceptable, but is infinitely better than raping a child.
00:22:11.000 We all know this.
00:22:12.000 It's self-evident.
00:22:13.000 But Matthew Graves and Tom Tillis, they would say, well, these people have already committed a crime.
00:22:18.000 Have you ever heard them say that about the 20 to 30 million illegal people here in this country?
00:22:24.000 Have you ever heard them talk about 8 USC 1312?
00:22:27.000 Ever.
00:22:28.000 Have they ever used that language?
00:22:30.000 No.
00:22:31.000 But they use it against their own citizens.
00:22:33.000 So openly.
00:22:35.000 Yes, you're right, Matthew Graves.
00:22:36.000 Hyper-technically, they have a trespassing violation.
00:22:40.000 In fact, if you look at all the left-wingers that trespass in Congress, which is basically a weekly or monthly occurrence from the Students for Justice of Palestine to the pro-Hamas crowd to the abortion fanatics when Roe v.
00:22:53.000 Wade was repealed, these people storm Congress all the time, and they get trespassing solicitation fines.
00:22:59.000 Yes, you use your prosecutorial discretion, thanks to Tom Tillis, to be able to go after Americans.
00:23:07.000 And this all segues together.
00:23:09.000 There is going to be, again, this is going to be the summary of my midterm coverage for like the next month.
00:23:15.000 I can't stand talking about elections because it makes people paralyzed against legislative action.
00:23:24.000 It makes people all of a sudden in a place of fear.
00:23:29.000 But there will be, and I'm predicting it right now, if Congress does not start acting with force and with vigor and with results, there will be the disappearing MAGA voter.
00:23:42.000 D.C. consultants are going to wonder, what happened?
00:23:45.000 Where did all these folks go?
00:23:47.000 And I'm not trying to make a prediction.
00:23:49.000 I hope I am wrong.
00:23:50.000 But I'm seeing it coming.
00:23:51.000 Because voters are coming up to me all the time.
00:23:55.000 All the time.
00:23:56.000 And they're saying, I love Trump.
00:23:57.000 See how hard he's fighting.
00:23:59.000 But why would I vote for my local senator?
00:24:02.000 Again, here are some of the top races.
00:24:04.000 The top five races are an open Senate seat in Georgia.
00:24:07.000 I'm not open.
00:24:07.000 I'm sorry.
00:24:08.000 That's not correct.
00:24:09.000 It's open because Kemp is not running it.
00:24:11.000 I didn't mean it that way.
00:24:13.000 Incumbent Democrat Senator John Ossoff.
00:24:16.000 Open Senate seat in Michigan.
00:24:17.000 That's what I meant.
00:24:18.000 Open Senate seat in New Hampshire.
00:24:20.000 And then hold Maine and hold North Carolina.
00:24:22.000 We have 53 Senate seats.
00:24:23.000 We should be just fine.
00:24:24.000 Now, Georgia's going to be tough.
00:24:26.000 Georgia's going to be hard because Kemp is not running.
00:24:28.000 I'm not a fan of Kemp, but Kemp would have had a much better chance than somebody else.
00:24:31.000 And there won't be national money pouring in.
00:24:32.000 Kemp would have had national money.
00:24:35.000 Shaheen is not running in New Hampshire.
00:24:38.000 And so it's an open seat.
00:24:39.000 So that image is actually incorrect.
00:24:41.000 It's an old image.
00:24:44.000 But if you guys want to actually expand your power in Washington, D.C., if you want to hold on to power, then you must do what you said you're going to do.
00:24:53.000 And I have a very provocative question that so many of you in this audience are feeling, and I'm trying to bang this over the head of these U.S. senators.
00:25:01.000 I had a U.S. senator call me yesterday, right after I got on campus at San Francisco State University.
00:25:05.000 Great guy.
00:25:06.000 Comes on the show.
00:25:07.000 I like him.
00:25:08.000 He says, Charlie, I don't know, Ed Martin's going to be hard.
00:25:10.000 I said, do any of your colleagues understand?
00:25:13.000 And let me say this in very simple language that you can relay it.
00:25:16.000 They will cease to be in the majority if they don't do what President Trump requests.
00:25:21.000 And they don't believe that.
00:25:24.000 You are a product of your environment.
00:25:26.000 You are.
00:25:27.000 If you're around a bunch of U.S. senators, you start thinking like them.
00:25:31.000 You start thinking that the American body politic is like the Senate clerks.
00:25:36.000 And I can tell you that even being around the ruling class, as I reported back on Sunday, for two hours, you can start to see the allure of how your worldview can be shifted around neatly tailored expert testimonies.
00:25:52.000 And these U.S. senators fail to recognize that the rank and file of the people of North Carolina, the first-time voters that we helped bring out at Turning Point Action of all of our campus events, Tom Tillis, they are not going to show up for you.
00:26:06.000 They just won't.
00:26:07.000 And it's not that they'll even vote for the Democrat.
00:26:09.000 It's that they'll vanish.
00:26:11.000 They'll look at their mail-in ballot and say, waste of time.
00:26:14.000 We saw this in the Hegseth fight, in the Tulsi fight, in the Bobby Kennedy fight.
00:26:19.000 Did they learn nothing?
00:26:20.000 And the answer is yes.
00:26:22.000 They learned nothing.
00:26:25.000 And it shouldn't even be that shock to a system, but it is egregious.
00:26:29.000 There is no excuse.
00:26:30.000 I'm sorry.
00:26:30.000 There is no excuse where you go and vote for Biden's D.C. U.S. attorney and Biden's United States Attorney General, and you will not vote for Trump's U.S. attorney.
00:26:39.000 And the excuse you give is that we didn't give harsh enough prison sentences for people that stayed within the rope lines after the doors were open for them.
00:26:48.000 It's an egregious violation of the social compact, an egregious one.
00:26:52.000 At that point, you can just say to yourself, well, I can't evaluate nominees well.
00:26:59.000 Very simple.
00:27:00.000 And I don't say this with any delight.
00:27:02.000 I don't seek this controversy.
00:27:04.000 I want to hold on to the North Carolina Senate seat.
00:27:06.000 I've been pulling for Tom Tillis to find his inner MAGA.
00:27:09.000 But when someone violates this, you've got to call him out.
00:27:13.000 I'm not trying to divide the Republican Party.
00:27:15.000 I'm trying to actually strengthen it.
00:27:16.000 And that is the final point, is the Republican Party actually falls apart.
00:27:21.000 It collapses.
00:27:25.000 And it's a tough moment to say because the midterms that will then be coming and in the future elections, the voters in this audience, they're either going to launch primary campaigns or they're not going to vote for you because you took them for granted.
00:27:37.000 The number one rule of politics, and Trump did this better than any other leader, I think in the last hundred years, I mean, I can't think of any political leader that did this better, is he had a base first political strategy.
00:27:51.000 It is against the Karl Rhoves of the world.
00:27:53.000 He had a base-first political strategy, and it worked because your base can get bigger.
00:27:58.000 You can get new low-prop voters.
00:28:01.000 Man, Tom Tillis, I'm begging for you to give Trump voters an excuse to vote for you.
00:28:06.000 But you are actively hostile against us.
00:28:09.000 You've declared war on us.
00:28:12.000 And because of that, the chances of you getting elected in a general election is going down tremendously.
00:28:19.000 It's too bad because you are handing a Senate seat to the Democrats.
00:28:23.000 You are doing this, Tom Tillis.
00:28:25.000 You're doing this to yourself.
00:28:27.000 And with that, you're damaging the country and the Republican conference.
00:28:31.000 You might think you're being all sanctimonious and uppity and a good person, but you are now jeopardizing this hard-won Senate seat in North Carolina for being principled.
00:28:42.000 Bunch of garbage.

00:29:48.000 So India and Pakistan are on the verge of a war.
00:29:52.000 What does this mean exactly?
00:29:53.000 Well, here's the basics.
00:29:54.000 Pakistan is 100% Muslim.
00:29:56.000 Remember, they sheltered bin Laden and have been a very, very sneaky actor.
00:30:02.000 India is mostly Hindu.
00:30:04.000 They don't care for each other much at all.
00:30:06.000 There's a region called the Kashmir that they dispute.
00:30:09.000 There was just a Muslim terrorist attack on tourists there, which Pakistan seems to be linked to, so India is furious.
00:30:17.000 There were air and missile strikes on nine different sites in Pakistan, killing a few dozen people.
00:30:23.000 Reportedly, some airplanes have been lost on both sides.
00:30:25.000 These are big countries.
00:30:27.000 They have more than 1.7 billion people between them and lots of people.
00:30:31.000 That said, very simple.
00:30:33.000 This is not our war.
00:30:34.000 Maybe we slightly favor India because they're retaliating to Islamic terror.
00:30:39.000 But that should go no further than moral support.
00:30:42.000 That is it.
00:30:43.000 This is not our conflict to get involved in.
00:30:45.000 I do not believe this will escalate in any way, shape, or form to nuclear power.
00:30:50.000 And look, we hope for negotiations.
00:30:52.000 But this is a great test of whether or not every conflict is America's problem.
00:30:57.000 And both are nuclear powers, by the way, and most people don't know that.
00:31:01.000 Both Pakistan and India have nuclear weapons, which actually then will decrease the likelihood of either side using nuclear weapons, is the fact that both sides have mad, mutually assured destruction.
00:31:14.000 Trump said yesterday that India is willing to drop all of its tariffs, by the way, on trade with the United States.
00:31:20.000 Which is good for icing out China because India very well could become the new China.
00:31:24.000 What you're seeing there is demonstrations on the Kashmir border.
00:31:28.000 I think they think these are kind of like two birds peacocking at each other.
00:31:32.000 But instead of two birds, it's like Pakistanis and Indians peacocking at each other.
00:31:36.000 Very strange.
00:31:37.000 But again, more power to them.
00:31:39.000 They could do whatever they want.
00:31:40.000 And so this is them at the border.
00:31:41.000 They kind of are taunting each other.
00:31:43.000 You actually can go see this live.
00:31:44.000 They have tickets where you can go to the Kashmir border.
00:31:47.000 They actually have arena seating where you can watch this and they do this like every day at 4 or 5 p.m. where the Pakistani and the Indian armies.
00:31:56.000 This is a visualization of this is not our culture.
00:31:59.000 This is not our fight.
00:32:00.000 We have nothing to do with this.
00:32:01.000 If they want to go high step and high kick their way into a war, I hope they don't.
00:32:06.000 A lot of innocent people die in war.
00:32:07.000 War is terrible.
00:32:09.000 The only role that we should have is to help negotiations and have moral support.
00:32:14.000 We should not supply armaments.
00:32:16.000 I'm sure Lindsey Graham and John Bolton are already on a plane somewhere to New Delhi to try to figure out how we can annex Pakistan or try to give F-35s.
00:32:24.000 No, enough of that.
00:32:26.000 This is not our fight.
00:32:27.000 This is not our region.
00:32:28.000 We hope for a ceasefire.
00:32:30.000 We hope that this does not result in more unnecessary deaths.
00:32:35.000 Ro Khanna was already suggesting that we get involved.
00:32:38.000 These neocons know no limits to our own borders.
00:32:43.000 You know what we should get involved in?
00:32:45.000 The cartels.
00:32:46.000 We should very much get involved in the cartels.
00:32:50.000 We should get involved against the Chinese Communist Party.
00:32:52.000 Not militarily, but by every other means.
00:32:55.000 Again, I'm just looking at this high-stepping stuff.
00:32:57.000 They're still in the 1100s.
00:33:00.000 If this escalates to also pressure us to take refugees, nope.
00:33:04.000 Not going to happen.
00:33:06.000 Stuff we should get more involved in?
00:33:08.000 Yesterday, in a lesser-covered news story.
00:33:10.000 We seized 3 million fentanyl pills from the Sinaloa drug cartel yesterday.
00:33:15.000 The largest such seizure in American history.
00:33:18.000 Enough to kill 200 million Americans.
00:33:23.000 That's what we should get involved in.
00:33:24.000 The full force of the government should be in protecting our own citizens.
00:33:28.000 If India and Pakistan want to tragically high-step their way into a war, they have the agency to do that.
00:33:34.000 I hope they don't.
00:33:35.000 I pray they don't.
00:33:36.000 We should try to negotiate peace and for a settlement.
00:33:39.000 But that's it.
00:33:40.000 No more than that.
00:33:42.000 That's what America First looks like.
00:33:44.000 We defend our citizens.
00:33:45.000 They want to high-step their way into it?
00:33:48.000 That's their prerogative.
00:33:49.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:33:50.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:52.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
