Summary

Learn English with Dr. Ben Carson, Frank Turek, Peter Navarro, and others at the Believers Summit. President Donald J. Trump was shot and killed at a rally on Saturday night in Washington, D.C. on the steps of the White House. President Trump was a Christian, a reverend, a man of God, a father, a son, a husband, a friend, and a husband. God saved him. God did not allow this to happen. Maybe God spared Donald Trump so that he can have an easy road to become President of the United States. Or maybe God was testing Donald Trump to see what his church is made out of. We ve been kicking wokeism out of the American church. We believe that wokeism is destroying the American Church from within. This was the madness of 2020. And let me tell you, these lockdowns are not going to be the last lockdowns. I made the worst prediction I've ever made during the lockdowns and let me say it to the camera, "These are not to be my next lockdowns." - Pastor Rob McCoy. Where does that appear in the scriptures? And what does that mean for this year? What does it mean for 2020 and what does it means for the future? What is it meant for 2020? - Where does the best prediction I made in the Bible? and why is that a good year? - What does that seem to be in 2020? - And why is it so important? - and why does it matter to me so much to me? - Why is it important to have liberty and freedom in 2020 and why it matters so much more than it matters more than any other year than 2019? - - and what is it matters to me more than the next year in the rest of the year? -- and what will it matter more than 2020? -- and much more! in this episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, featuring yours truly, Charlie Kirk, Pastor Charlie Kirk Join us in this year's best prediction? 00:01:21.000 Hello, everybody.
00:01:22.000 Welcome.
00:01:22.000 Please take a seat.
00:01:23.000 Welcome to the Believer's Summit 2024.
00:01:28.000 We have some very special guests here tonight.
00:01:31.000 And we have Dr. Ben Carson will be here tonight.
00:01:37.000 And of course, we have Frank Turek and Peter Navarro.
00:01:41.000 And I think also you're here to hear from hopefully the next president of the United States, Donald J. Trump.
00:01:51.000 So I want to open up with just a couple thoughts of kind of how we got here and what we hope to accomplish these next couple of days.
00:01:58.000 As you know, the...
00:02:00.000 The last couple of weeks have been very boring in the news cycle.
00:02:03.000 Not a lot going on.
00:02:04.000 We decided at Turning Point, hey, you know, let's just try to spice things up a little bit.
00:02:08.000 Let's do a third event hosting President Trump, if we can, this summer.
00:02:13.000 And again, this all just kind of came together in the last couple of weeks amazingly.
00:02:17.000 And I want to reflect on my own personal story and where I was when I heard the news that President Donald Trump was shot.
00:02:27.000 And I'm sure many of you could relate to this.
00:02:31.000 It was a normal Saturday.
00:02:33.000 I was...
00:02:34.000 Watching my daughter run around all over the place.
00:02:38.000 Had the rally on.
00:02:38.000 I go, OK, Donald Trump takes the stage.
00:02:40.000 I go down to, you know, our local workout area with my daughter.
00:02:44.000 All of a sudden, I look at the television screen, and like many of you, I saw something that wasn't right.
00:02:49.000 And I saw a bunch of Secret Service agents around President Trump.
00:02:54.000 My first reaction was, oh, this must be a false alarm.
00:02:57.000 This happens all the time.
00:02:59.000 And, you know, they're just being overly cautious.
00:03:02.000 And then I looked closer, I said, there's blood on his face.
00:03:07.000 There's something not right here.
00:03:09.000 And, like all of you, I saw our great president give us the fist that he was okay.
00:03:19.000 And my initial reaction was, okay, it must have been shrapnel or something that just, you know, went up against his ear or something.
00:03:27.000 But no, now we all know exactly what happened, was that we were Two centimeters away from not just losing President Trump, but also going into a dark chapter in this country that none of us even want to entertain.
00:03:44.000 And as we are here at the Believers Summit, I think it is appropriate to give thanks and
00:03:52.000 glory to God for sparing the life of President Donald Trump.
00:04:01.000 And of not just what could have been, but also what we now have in front of us.
00:04:10.000 A lot of people are saying, what is God's plan?
00:04:14.000 We don't know.
00:04:15.000 We can speculate.
00:04:16.000 Maybe God spared Donald Trump so that he can have an easy road to the White House.
00:04:23.000 Maybe.
00:04:24.000 Or maybe God spared Donald Trump to test his church.
00:04:30.000 Maybe God spared Donald Trump to see what his church is made out of.
00:04:33.000 You see, at TPUSA Faith, we've been around for a couple years now, and our mission is very simple.
00:04:39.000 We exist to kick wokeism out of the American church.
00:04:47.000 We believe that wokeism is destroying the American church from within.
00:04:54.000 This was birthed out of the 2020 madness.
00:05:00.000 TPUSA Faith was born when my pastor and I, Rob McCoy, were talking, and I made the worst prediction on my podcast.
00:05:07.000 Thank you for those of you who watch and listen, by the way.
00:05:10.000 I made the worst prediction I've ever made.
00:05:12.000 Where during the lockdowns, I look straight to the camera, and I say, these lockdowns are not going to last very long.
00:05:20.000 And let me tell you why, I said.
00:05:22.000 It's because the American church loves liberty.
00:05:27.000 And the American church will resist this in big numbers, and they will not allow the government to lock them down.
00:05:34.000 And that was one of the dumbest things I've ever said on The Charlie Kirk Show.
00:05:38.000 And instead, I learned that there are some great pastors out there, and we have many of you here, and they should be applauded and encouraged.
00:05:46.000 However, far too many churches remain locked down.
00:05:52.000 Afraid.
00:05:54.000 Without direction.
00:05:55.000 Soon after that, we saw our entire country be burned to a crisp in a mostly peaceful way, by the way.
00:06:03.000 All around a lie from the pit of hell that America is systemically racist at its core.
00:06:10.000 And I saw church after church and pastor after pastor regurgitate that lie and say that we are a systemically racist country and that we need to do struggle sessions and white privilege seminars.
00:06:22.000 And I said, where is the church taking its role as counselor to the king?
00:06:29.000 Where is the church standing for truth and liberty as its rightful place in America?
00:06:36.000 And I realized that We have to do our part.
00:06:39.000 And again, we have a couple projects going on at Turning Point.
00:06:42.000 We have our high school program, our college program, we have Turning Point Academy, we have Blexit, we have our social media, we have Turning Point Action, which is sponsoring tonight.
00:06:51.000 We are hiring America's largest ballot-chasing army.
00:06:54.000 We need another project like we needed a hole in the head.
00:06:59.000 But we launched TPUSA Faith because we know that if the American church were to remain cowardly, And to remain afraid of the government and afraid of totalitarianism, there is no way we'll ever be able to win back this country.
00:07:15.000 So we launched this project, and it has been amazing to see and to witness.
00:07:19.000 As I've been traveling the country, I've met with hundreds of pastors.
00:07:23.000 In fact, we now have thousands of pastors as part of our network.
00:07:27.000 And as we travel, and as I talk to these pastors, I realize that there is a desire for revival in this country.
00:07:35.000 That there is a yearning for a different type of Christianity that has not been what's been around.
00:07:41.000 It's not just about having a church service with a TED Talk and a rock concert.
00:07:48.000 It's not just about having a nice guy sermon.
00:07:51.000 It is about preaching a hot gospel and bringing a nation to repentance, which will then lead to revival.
00:07:59.000 And in front of us, as we talk politically tonight, we must ask the question, what is the church's role when it comes
00:08:12.000 to the 2024 election?
00:08:15.000 The media wants the church to do nothing.
00:08:19.000 They call you Christian nationalists.
00:08:22.000 They call you a fascist.
00:08:24.000 They say that the church should take no role in this upcoming election.
00:08:28.000 Do you know why they're saying that?
00:08:31.000 Because they can do math!
00:08:33.000 They know that if the church were to rise up in record numbers, and pastors were to tell their congregation to vote and vote their values, that there would not be a Democrat majority in the House, the Senate, or the Presidency for a generation.
00:08:53.000 Only half of Bible-believing church-attended Christians are registered to vote.
00:08:57.000 Only half of them actually vote.
00:09:00.000 In 2016, Donald Trump received 72% of the evangelical vote.
00:09:01.000 In 2016, Donald Trump received 72% of the evangelical vote.
00:09:07.000 In 2020, it was 68%, down 4 points.
00:09:11.000 It is not an automatic or a given.
00:09:14.000 There are authors and thinkers and publications that constantly try to propagandize rank-and-file Christians to not get involved in this fight.
00:09:25.000 But we know, because the Bible commands us, that we must care about our nation.
00:09:31.000 I hear often from skeptics, oh the Bible, it's not clear of whether or not we should get involved in politics.
00:09:37.000 Jeremiah 29 7, I demand the welfare, I demand you to contest, this is the Lord speaking, I demand you to seek the welfare of the nation that you are in, because your welfare is tied to your nation's welfare.
00:09:53.000 Daniel fasted and prayed for his nation.
00:09:56.000 The Founding Fathers quoted and cited the Book of Deuteronomy more than any other book in forming the United States of America and the U.S.
00:10:04.000 Constitution.
00:10:05.000 And while we're at it, they say, oh, you know, there's no political figures in the Bible.
00:10:08.000 Well, I guess they have to get rid of Esther, Mordecai, Nehemiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Elijah, Jacob, Joseph, besides all those guys.
00:10:18.000 And Christ our Lord also made political statements.
00:10:22.000 The Bible, at its core, tells us what is good or evil.
00:10:27.000 It tells us what is justice, how government should be formed.
00:10:31.000 55 out of 56 of the original signers of the Declaration of Independence were Bible-believing, church-attending Christians.
00:10:39.000 This nation is an outgrowth of spirit-filled Christians, of believers.
00:10:47.000 I'm afraid that if we as Christians and as faith leaders Do not speak up and do not do our job these next couple of months, we could be left with President Kamala Harris.
00:11:04.000 It's easy to boo.
00:11:05.000 It's harder to go register voters.
00:11:09.000 It's easy to boo.
00:11:11.000 It's harder to give a Sunday sermon telling your congregation that you should not vote for a candidate who voted against the Abortion Survivors Act.
00:11:24.000 We now have an opportunity, not just, look at the contrast, where you have one candidate who was the most pro-life president in American history, Donald Trump, and brought the reversal of Roe vs. Wade, and Amy Coney Barrett, and Brett Kavanaugh, and Neil Gorsuch, who moved the embassy to Jerusalem, and fought for religious liberty, who sealed the southern border, had a booming economy for people of all backgrounds, and Kamala Harris.
00:11:53.000 Who stands against everything that we as Christians believe.
00:11:59.000 Who visited an abortion clinic.
00:12:02.000 The first sitting president or vice president to do that.
00:12:06.000 Kamala Harris who wants to ban fracking.
00:12:08.000 Kamala Harris who wants to even get rid of plastic straws, and that's the least of the things she wants to do.
00:12:16.000 She believes in no restrictions for abortion whatsoever.
00:12:21.000 Kamala Harris, who has said repeatedly that she wants to give amnesty and benefits for foreigners in our nation.
00:12:30.000 The contrast could not be more clear.
00:12:32.000 But the question in front of us, and this entire conference is phrased, here I am, and I'm going to talk about where it says that in the scriptures here as I close and then I invite my good friend up on stage, is if we lose in November, it will not be because of the machines, It will not be because of the steal.
00:12:53.000 If we lose, it's because believers did not do enough to fight for liberty in this country.
00:13:00.000 We must look at ourselves first and foremost.
00:13:06.000 Because we should hold Christians to a higher standard.
00:13:11.000 If we are born new by the grace and the goodness of Jesus Christ, if we are saved by the blood of Christ, then we should hold our fellow believer to a higher standard.
00:13:22.000 I pray for Kamala Harris.
00:13:23.000 I don't say that sarcastically.
00:13:26.000 I hope that she has an encounter with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
00:13:31.000 Because she needs Jesus.
00:13:33.000 All of our leaders do.
00:13:37.000 But then, she is more forthright, and she has more gusto than most Christians do regarding politics.
00:13:47.000 She's willing to speak out about political matters.
00:13:49.000 Most pastors say, eh, I don't do politics.
00:13:53.000 Well, do you do the Bible?
00:13:54.000 Because it's not political, this is Biblical at its core.
00:13:58.000 And all of you going back to your local church need to confront your pastor and say, why are you not speaking out on these issues?
00:14:04.000 Oh, you're afraid of losing your congregation?
00:14:07.000 Well, maybe you should try to preach your congregation down to a manageable size.
00:14:12.000 It's not all just about growth and new campuses.
00:14:16.000 It's about teaching the truth on a day-to-day basis.
00:14:22.000 The theme of this conference is one of my favorite Hebrew words, Hanani, which means, here I am.
00:14:28.000 It means, Lord, use me.
00:14:32.000 It means, I am a blank check for your purposes, God.
00:14:35.000 It means, I am your vessel.
00:14:39.000 I am here to be used for what you want me to.
00:14:42.000 It is repeated throughout the scriptures at times of great drama.
00:14:46.000 I think you can all agree we are living through a time of great drama right now.
00:14:51.000 In Genesis 22-1, when Abraham was called to sacrifice his son Isaac, God said, Abraham, Abraham responded, here I am.
00:15:05.000 At the beginning of Jacob's journey to come into a great nation called Israel, God appeared to Jacob in a dream and Jacob said, here I am.
00:15:16.000 When Moses saw the burning bush on fire but not consumed by fire, Moses said, here I am.
00:15:24.000 Do you notice a theme?
00:15:25.000 This is before a time of great journey, great sacrifice, of great uncertainty.
00:15:33.000 Moses had a very good life in Midian.
00:15:38.000 He was getting along with his father-in-law Jethro.
00:15:41.000 He was a Kind of a farmer.
00:15:44.000 He didn't have to worry about obligation.
00:15:46.000 And God took him out of a nice, comfortable life and said, I want you to go lead a group of people that complain all the time out of bondage and into liberty.
00:15:56.000 And Moses did not have an easy life after that.
00:16:00.000 But he did what God commanded him to do out of obedience, not out of ease.
00:16:06.000 The question in front of us as the American church is that we have had this beautiful blessing called the United States of America handed down to us by our forefathers.
00:16:16.000 This idea of liberty is God's idea, not man's idea.
00:16:20.000 And whether or not the United States of America will continue to exist in any recognizable form is completely and solely dependent on whether or not those who call themselves Christians, churches in America, We'll be willing to say, Lord, here I am.
00:16:41.000 Use me for your purpose.
00:16:42.000 And we'll elevate the fight for truth, freedom, liberty, America, much more than ease and comfort.
00:16:51.000 We do outnumber them.
00:16:52.000 That is why they want you to just stay at home and do nothing.
00:16:55.000 But if we are strong and courageous, as it says in Joshua 1, 9, we do the work.
00:17:01.000 We give the Sunday sermons.
00:17:02.000 We register voters.
00:17:03.000 We mobilize our congregations.
00:17:05.000 We chase ballots.
00:17:07.000 We will make November too big to rig, and the American church will send a message heard around the world.
00:17:14.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:17:15.000 Email us as always freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:17:18.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
