00:01:32.000 When I want to get a pulse of what is happening, especially with the media and polling, I have Raheem Kassam on the program.
00:01:39.000 He's a very smart person.
00:01:41.000 He really understands trends, especially across the Western Hemisphere.
00:01:41.000 He's wicked smart.
00:01:46.000 He's lived through a couple populist revolts that have been successful and some that have been unsuccessful.
00:01:51.000 It is THE National Pulse, Editor-in-Chief.
00:01:54.000 That is THE National Pulse.
00:01:55.000 Raheem welcomes the program.
00:01:57.000 Raheem, lots to get into.
00:01:58.000 First, let me just kind of get a pulse check.
00:02:00.000 Get it?
00:02:01.000 What is the state of the race right now?
00:02:04.000 Yeah, Charlie.
00:02:06.000 Look, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and I think a lot of people are a little bit too chipper about what Kamala portends in this election.
00:02:15.000 I would view it as a reset moment for the left.
00:02:19.000 I think she does bring some, obviously, some pretty hefty baggage with her.
00:02:27.000 We are going to see kind of a reset factor play out here over the next couple of days and weeks.
00:02:35.000 That's not to say that the honeymoon period, as you call it over here, will last all the way through to the election.
00:02:42.000 But there are some major, major set piece events, not least, of course, the sentencing of President Trump in September, which will also factor into this.
00:02:51.000 and the ability for Kamala's campaign to kind of reset.
00:02:56.000 You know, they've got a big problem with the Muslim, with the Arab votes that usually come out for them en masse
00:03:02.000 in places like Michigan, to be able to do a reset on a lot of the policy decisions that were made
00:03:08.000 by her predecessor and recent boss, Joe Biden.
00:03:12.000 And so I think, you know, there's a lot of people who look at her as just sort of this cackling
00:03:17.000 and grinning idiot.
00:03:19.000 Unfortunately, while that may be the case, she has also been an extremely shrewd and savvy political actor.
00:03:27.000 She has been an extremely shrewd and savvy, let's say, networker all her life.
00:03:32.000 And I don't kind of want us to underestimate just how far the left will go to try and get
00:03:39.000 her over the line.
00:03:40.000 Remember, President Trump was impeached twice.
00:03:44.000 He was the subject of an assassination attempt recently.
00:03:48.000 There's also no doubt in my mind that somebody out there being radicalized may well try that
00:03:54.000 again, impeached twice, perhaps attempted to be shot twice.
00:03:57.000 And you've got to look at the messaging that Kamala's campaign is putting out there that
00:04:02.000 kind of furthers that chance of happening.
00:04:05.000 She has not rode back at all from the previous, you know, prior to the assassination, these
00:04:10.000 messages that they're putting out saying, President Trump is a threat to democracy.
00:04:14.000 He's going to put you all back in chains, as they once said.
00:04:18.000 And I think that is a doubling, if not tripling down on the rhetoric that will lead to further
00:04:25.000 I watched some of that violence happen here yesterday on Capitol Hill.
00:04:29.000 Those people, although they might have some problems with the Democrat Party and some problems with the Biden administration, remember they are still at their core leftists and they do still at their core want a leftist in government.
00:04:45.000 So here's an interesting question.
00:04:48.000 And I have an answer, but I want your answer first.
00:04:51.000 Is she going to be more difficult to defeat than Hillary in 2016?
00:04:54.000 I think, personally, I don't think she is more difficult to defeat as a human being and as a character and as a candidate in and of herself.
00:05:01.000 But I do believe the machine is far more difficult to beat than Hillary in 2016.
00:05:06.000 I think they learned in 2016 that they must cheat, they must steal, they must take part in all these different, you know, let's say, malleable parts on the fringes of certain
00:05:19.000 counties and election boards across the country. And I'm not entirely convinced that the
00:05:24.000 political right has done enough slash anything to account for that up to this point. There are
00:05:31.000 going to be alarm bells starting to ring, I guarantee you, in the next couple of weeks, just
00:05:35.000 about how little kind of there is in terms of changes there on the ground. And I think
00:05:40.000 people are going to be more enthused to take those risks. They are risks in a lot of cases that,
00:05:46.000 you know, what they do in so many of these places is.
00:05:49.000 It's illegal.
00:05:50.000 And I think people are more enthused to take those risks for someone like Kamala than someone like Joe.
00:05:55.000 And you only really have to look at the kinds of messages and new campaign ad that came out this morning to show that it really is an attempt to bury, and I use this term intentionally, to bury the Biden list of in achievements over the last three or four years and really start afresh.
00:06:19.000 Okay, so here's my take.
00:06:21.000 Well, I think that it will be harder in one way, but easier in another.
00:06:26.000 Harder because the Democrat machine is far superior than it was in 2016.
00:06:31.000 From ballot chasing, early voting, from voter registration, it is They have a sizable Leviathan that did not exist in 2016 that was birthed out of the resistance.
00:06:43.000 The resistance gave them the cash, gave them the personnel, gave them the manpower to basically build their dream political operation.
00:06:50.000 And it is very, very significant.
00:06:52.000 It is a beast.
00:06:55.000 However, in some ways, we have advantages.
00:06:57.000 Our movement is bigger.
00:06:58.000 Our movement is more battle-tested.
00:07:01.000 We now have Elon Musk X liberated, so we're able to have some more communication channels.
00:07:06.000 There's more alternative media that is able to speak out, like podcasting and the National Pulse, that did not exist back in 2016 or even 2020 as much.
00:07:14.000 We have Rumble as well, of course.
00:07:17.000 And then also I'll say this, is that Hillary Clinton was able to run as not an outsider, of course not an outsider, but she didn't have to really run on a record.
00:07:29.000 If we are effective It will come down to whether or not we are able to connect Kamala Harris to actually being the current vice president of this country.
00:07:41.000 If you notice all of her ads that she's doing, there's only a couple so far, they make it seem as if she's like an outsider fighting the system.
00:07:47.000 She is the sitting vice president of a failed regime and the border czar.
00:07:51.000 What do you make of that analysis, Rahim?
00:07:54.000 Yeah, that I totally agree with, especially that last part.
00:07:58.000 She is absolutely running from the record, and in fairness to her, she doesn't believe it's a record that she should have to own.
00:08:05.000 She reluctantly found her way on that ticket.
00:08:07.000 Remember, she was up there, the one calling Joe Biden a racist on the Democrat debates in 2020.
00:08:15.000 She really didn't find any great path to victory herself.
00:08:19.000 I mean, she was eviscerated by Tulsi Gabbard up on that stage.
00:08:22.000 And so she made a deal with the devil, as she's been known to do her entire life,
00:08:26.000 and she wants to sort of try and do that again.
00:08:28.000 The only problem for her in this regard is that she is now the devil,
00:08:32.000 and she is trying to do deals with herself, and that doesn't work.
00:08:35.000 To try and cancel out your own record, to try and say to the American public, hey, you know, it wasn't me, you know, the shaggy approach to running for office here.
00:08:46.000 You're right, you know, the Trump campaign, the political right, it does have its work set out for it.
00:08:52.000 But if you do manage to make that connection, if you manage to make that connection stick, and this is the thing, Axios is erasing its reporting.
00:09:01.000 Historical watch sites for, you know, like GovTrack erasing their histories of rating Kamala the most liberal senator when she was in the U.S.
00:09:10.000 You are going to have to deal with that, too, because most people are not like you and I, Charlie.
00:09:10.000 Senate.
00:09:15.000 They do not have so much time in the day to start going on, you know, archive websites and figuring all that out.
00:09:21.000 And you start to present them this information to say, no, but look, they deleted it here.
00:09:24.000 It still is.
00:09:25.000 and they go, oh, I don't know about that.
00:09:27.000 You know, this looks like some dodgy screen grab from somewhere or the other.
00:09:30.000 I get it all the time because a lot of the work, a lot of the reporting we do delves into archives like that.
00:09:35.000 And it's very hard to convince somebody that if a piece of information isn't freely available,
00:09:39.000 that if a link isn't freely available, then that, you know, that information is corroborated and
00:09:44.000 correct.
00:09:44.000 So it is an uphill struggle.
00:09:47.000 It will be an uphill struggle.
00:09:49.000 I gave a speech to the New York Young Republican Club just two nights ago where I said, if complacency were already an issue in this election, and it really, really was, and we've talked about it before on this show, then it is double the issue You know, no intellectual right to take the highest office, not just in America, but of course, the entire world.
00:10:12.000 And yet, and yet, look at how close some of the numbers are.
00:10:19.000 Alright, I need to tell you guys about StrongCell.
00:10:22.000 It's amazing.
00:10:23.000 With nearly a million units bought by you, it is more clear than ever that StrongCell works.
00:10:29.000 It works to combat fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, skin issues, and constant sickness.

00:10:42.000 And it gives me the clarity of mind to do all that I do every day, which is a lot.
00:10:46.000 If you're tired of feeling tired, struggling with memory, or constantly getting sick, then you have to give StrongCell a try.

00:11:29.000 People say, Charlie, how do you do what you do?
00:11:31.000 Maybe it's the NAD that I take.

00:12:09.000 Check it out right now.
00:12:13.000 Rahim, let's go through this CNN poll here.
00:12:15.000 This is, the CNN poll is Harris up two, only among Hispanic voters.
00:12:23.000 This is very noteworthy, Rahim Kassam.
00:12:25.000 What is your reaction?
00:12:27.000 You sort of said some of the polling was settling.
00:12:28.000 I think I would give it another week or two for us really to be able to make, you know, longer term conclusions as to where Kamala stands with the American public.
00:12:38.000 And she will have her say over that over the next couple of weeks too, which is the first time we'll really sort Where is she most worried?
00:12:46.000 I think she'll be worried about young voters especially a lot of the data that's coming out is showing that she has about half the support Sorry, half the support difference, half the lead difference than Joe Biden had ostensibly, right, in 2020.
00:13:03.000 The other part of it will be the ethnic minority factor.
00:13:06.000 And they think, the Democrats think that, you know, if she leans into this, which she did try for the first
00:13:11.000 time in the last 24 hours, you know,
00:13:13.000 coming out of the record store, showing Porgy and Bess records off and that sort of thing,
00:13:18.000 that they will be able to stem some of the bleeding that they've seen with Hispanics in America,
00:13:23.000 and especially with the black voters of America.
00:13:26.000 Again, to come back to something we were talking about in the last segment,
00:13:30.000 the sentencing of President Trump in September will also factor into that.
00:13:34.000 We've seen how black Americans especially have responded to President Trump
00:13:38.000 being targeted by the justice system unfairly.
00:13:41.000 They almost have sort of this ingrained affinity with the lack of justice in the justice system
00:13:47.000 as it pertains to President Trump and what he's going through.
00:13:50.000 And so those are the kind of key elements that you've got to be watching for with Harris.
00:13:55.000 There will be popularity factors.
00:13:57.000 One of the reasons that no doubt Biden hasn't wanted to actually fully remove himself
00:14:02.000 from the equation, i.e. resign the office of president between now and the election
00:14:08.000 is so that she can use this period of time to define herself as something apart from his legacy,
00:14:14.000 something apart from this, you know, some say administration, I always say regime.
00:14:20.000 The numbers for me that are concerning, however, are the popularity factor.
00:14:26.000 And it's, look, it's not much more difficult to be more popular than Joe Biden,
00:14:32.000 but she is already off to a good start in establishing herself as a slightly less,
00:14:38.000 well, I say slightly less, massively less dull, boring, old, staid, gray character than Joe Biden.
00:14:46.000 And that will help her.
00:14:47.000 And I don't say any of these things because I believe them to be.
00:14:50.000 The latest CNN poll suggests that they are, that about 5%, I think they said, are.
00:14:54.000 ourselves in the shoes of people who have been sitting on the fence, independents, moderates,
00:14:58.000 and even some of the people who were throwing their hat in with President Trump.
00:15:02.000 And we've got to watch very carefully to see if they start to consider going back.
00:15:06.000 The latest CNN poll suggests that they are, that about 5%, I think they said, are, like
00:15:12.000 I said, though, we'll need to see two or three of those polls, a little bit more data on
00:15:16.000 this to be able to make that conclusion definitively.
00:15:20.000 So in closing here, Rahim, vice presidential selection, it's obvious she's going to choose
00:15:24.000 a white male unless she chooses Gretchen Whitmer, which I think is very unlikely.
00:15:29.000 But if she chooses a white male, I mean, it's an entire party that hates white men, so they're going to try to pretend that they don't.
00:15:34.000 Do you think a VP selection could dramatically change this election?
00:15:38.000 No, not really.
00:15:39.000 I don't think so.
00:15:40.000 I mean, I think you can shore her up in certain ways, but look, if she makes the wrong pick,
00:15:44.000 then it could really harm her in certain ways.
00:15:47.000 But I think she'll sort of try and go for that down the line, blue dog approach.
00:15:51.000 You know, Roy Cooper, North Carolina is a strong contender there.
00:15:56.000 You know, my colleague Will Upton actually over at the National Polls, he's done this analysis for us.
00:16:00.000 It's up on the site now of, you know, who the runners and riders, what the shortlist actually is here and what strengths they have.
00:16:07.000 Critically, you know, one of the people that they really want in this race is Josh Shapiro, but the prevailing consensus appears to be at the moment, and I say this, You know, we should be aghast at having to say this because they don't want a Jew on the ticket, because they know what it will mean to all of those Hamas fanatics, and there are so many of them that form the base of the Democrat coalition at the moment.
00:16:29.000 You saw them in Washington, D.C.
00:16:31.000 last night pulling American flags down, burning them, drawing, you know, love Hamas signs up on the statues, defacing the replica of the Liberty Bell and so forth.
00:16:40.000 And so somebody who would naturally have been a fit to that ticket is kind of being kept
00:16:45.000 off because of the party's rampant anti-Semitism.
00:16:48.000 And that's a fascinating thing.
00:16:50.000 Andy Beshear is also up there.
00:16:52.000 JB Pritzker, we know.
00:16:54.000 Gretchen Whitmer, I tend to agree with you.
00:16:56.000 And of course, you've got Mayor Pete and Mark Kelly as well.
00:17:00.000 And Mark Kelly may make a lot of sense, given the fact that a lot of what their talking
00:17:04.000 points are going to be over the next couple of months is going to be gun control and gun
00:17:10.000 And of course, Mark Kelly being the husband of former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, who was shot.
00:17:14.000 And of course, has a good resume too, by the way.
00:17:17.000 TheNationalPulse.com.
00:17:19.000 I get that right?
00:17:20.000 TheNationalPulse.com.
00:17:23.000 Raheem, thanks so much.
00:17:24.000 Great work.
00:17:24.000 Check it out.
00:17:25.000 Thanks for having me, Charlie.
00:17:26.000 Cheers.
00:17:29.000 William J. Kelly joins us, Chicago, and an Emmy Award-winning Chicago TV producer.
00:17:34.000 William, welcome to the program.
00:17:36.000 Are you getting ready for the DNC coming to Chicago?
00:17:39.000 God bless you, brother.
00:17:40.000 Thank you for having us.
00:17:42.000 Yeah, I mean, to whatever extent you can, get ready for something like this.
00:17:48.000 We're reporting every day on the out-of-control Chicago violence, the migrant crisis, the incompetent, corrupt politicians, and the DNC convention is only going to make all of that worse as a lifelong Chicagoan.
00:18:06.000 Charlie, you know, Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, it breaks my heart to see the violence that is typically associated with the South Side now all over the city of Chicago, including downtown Gold Coast, Magnificent Mile, whatever you want to call it.
00:18:23.000 And Charlie, I'm hearing people from the men on the street to the so-called experts telling me every day that the DNC convention violence will be explosive, Charlie.
00:18:37.000 So let's just take a step back here.
00:18:39.000 Yesterday we saw huge union station protests, rioting, burning flags.
00:18:45.000 Just in the last couple of hours, it turns out that a judge is allowing the pro-Palestinian groups to protest within sight and sound of the DNC.
00:18:55.000 So let's now just ask a kind of Chicago logistical question.
00:18:59.000 How on earth are they going to host the convention both at the McCormick Place and the United Center?
00:19:04.000 Explain to me the division of activities here, because those things are five or six miles apart from each other.
00:19:11.000 Well, you know, the main convention will be at the United Center.
00:19:14.000 I'm sure that there will be DNC events all over the city of Chicago from, you know, the United Center to Gibson Steakhouse and everywhere in between.
00:19:23.000 But, you know, what we've been hearing as Chicagoans for months now is that there will be safety bubbles, Charlie.
00:19:33.000 The CPD, the Chicago Police Department, will have safety zones, bubbles for the DNC party guests.
00:19:41.000 But that doesn't obviously do anything for the residents of Chicago.
00:19:46.000 If anything, it just forces the protesters, the violent Extremists to go to, I guess, what you would call soft targets, which would be everywhere else in Chicago.
00:19:58.000 You know, we had 100 people shot Fourth of July weekend in Chicago.
00:20:02.000 OK, so that was that was a Fourth of July weekend.
00:20:06.000 Charlie, you know.
00:20:08.000 What we're hearing is extreme violence in the streets of Chicago for the DNC.
00:20:16.000 We saw this in 1968, and Chicago is typically a war zone.
00:20:23.000 And unfortunately, it looks as if it's going to bubble up or at least just push it outside of there.
00:20:28.000 And so they're doing this right outside of the United Center, as far as the protesting goes.
00:20:35.000 Do you think that generally, though, we're going to see a decrease in murders that week just temporarily because of the amount of agents or police officers?
00:20:44.000 And if not, how are they going to have a convention where someone is getting shot and killed every couple of hours?
00:20:51.000 Well, there must be a Chicago DNC convention curse, Charlie.
00:20:56.000 I don't know what it is.
00:20:57.000 68 now, obviously, this contested convention.
00:21:03.000 When you are the nominee, Charlie, I highly recommend, although it breaks my heart, I would love to have your convention here in Chicago, but you might want to consider hosting your convention somewhere else.
00:21:13.000 But, you know, I don't know.
00:21:17.000 Maybe Chicago is uniquely... I'm not running for anything.
00:21:20.000 I'm not running for anything, but we would have my convention in Phoenix.
00:21:23.000 I'm sorry.
00:21:24.000 We would.
00:21:25.000 It would be in a battleground state.
00:21:27.000 However, I don't know.
00:21:28.000 118 degrees in the summer wouldn't be good.
00:21:33.000 Can you feel it now?
00:21:34.000 Something even bigger is coming.
00:21:36.000 Your God-given freedoms are up for the taking.
00:21:39.000 Even worse, those doing the taking are the same people who've sworn to defend your freedom.
00:21:44.000 They think they can violate your right to protect your own family.
00:21:47.000 They think they can force their delusions onto your kids.
00:21:51.000 They think they can control the media and hide the truth.
00:21:54.000 But you know what they can't take away?
00:21:56.000 Self-reliance and peace of mind.
00:21:59.000 You got water filtration?
00:22:00.000 Well, you should.
00:22:01.000 A charged solar generator?
00:22:03.000 You better.

00:22:43.000 Go to MyPatriotSupply.com.
00:22:45.000 That is MyPatriotSupply.com.
00:22:50.000 But let me ask you this, William.
00:22:53.000 The crime rates are wild and they're out of control, but I think that from a messaging standpoint, we need to tell the story that the Democrat elite are hosting their convention in one of the most murderous cities in the world.
00:23:07.000 Can you educate our audience on the horror and the bloodshed that Chicago is experiencing?
00:23:14.000 And that should be put on full display.
00:23:18.000 They picked quite a city.
00:23:20.000 All joking aside, Charlie, I do love Chicago with all my heart.
00:23:23.000 I'm still here, right?
00:23:25.000 I was just named the Editor-in-Chief of the CityNewsBureau.org if you want to.
00:23:31.000 Any Turning Point interns who want to risk their lives for journalism, send me a message.
00:23:41.000 Can Chicago be saved?
00:23:42.000 I don't know.
00:23:44.000 I've heard people say that it's It cannot be saved.
00:23:50.000 It cannot be turned around.
00:23:51.000 But, you know, I suppose this convention might actually help Chicago in a way.
00:23:59.000 It's not going to help the Democrats, no.
00:24:01.000 To your point, no.
00:24:02.000 It's just going to put a spotlight on the failed policies.
00:24:07.000 I think it was Goethe that said you don't need A conspiracy theory when incompetence explains everything, you know?
00:24:16.000 If he'd have thrown in the word corruption, he would have been spot on with the city of Chicago.
00:24:23.000 You have Mayor Johnson now, who has taken Lori Lightfoot's place.
00:24:28.000 You have, of course, Governor Pritzker, who is on the short list as a VP possibility.
00:24:39.000 And their leadership, okay, and not to mention a hundred years or more of nothing but Democrat leaders, local, state, national, have resulted in Illinois, my home state, the state that I love with all my heart, being really a place where anyone who can Is fleeing, is moving out of the state of Illinois for their own safety, for their own lives.
00:25:05.000 There was a couple, Charlie, I'll tell you, in my neighborhood.
00:25:08.000 A beautiful couple.
00:25:10.000 They were expecting a child.
00:25:13.000 They were attacked by a mob of children, as Mayor Johnson would refer to them.
00:25:19.000 Stomped on.
00:25:20.000 The woman lost her baby.
00:25:22.000 The state's attorney, Kim Fox, filed misdemeanor charges I followed up, you know, I mean, this was clearly a hate crime, felony hate crime.
00:25:32.000 Obviously, if the tables are reversed, it would have been a felony hate crime, no question about it, national, international news.
00:25:41.000 But sadly, in this case, The couple literally fled the state.
00:25:46.000 They've left the state, Charlie.
00:25:48.000 They're not even going to stick around.
00:25:51.000 So a group of hoodlums tracked down a pregnant woman, stomped her, killed her unborn baby, and it was this misdemeanor.
00:26:00.000 So William Kelly, I have an idea here.
00:26:03.000 With your help, William, I think we should put together Five or six real stories and highlight them and do a press conference style thing during the DNC and tell the story of Chicago crime.
00:26:18.000 You know these people.
00:26:20.000 They're going to be ignored by the communist Brandon Johnson, ignored by the communist Kamala Harris, ignored by the leadership of the Democrat Party.
00:26:30.000 They chose Chicago.
00:26:31.000 We need to educate the American people of what their policies and what their ideas
00:26:38.000 do, which is resulting in pregnant women getting hunted in the streets by a group of
00:26:44.000 hoodlums. Are any of those people currently serving extensive jail time for killing an unborn
00:26:49.000 baby?
00:26:50.000 Sadly, they are not even facing charges. They were immediately released, by the way.
00:27:01.000 This is a very, very common story. You have violent repeat offenders who are charged with
00:27:08.000 with.
00:27:09.000 Very violent crimes in many cases the exact same crime that they were just arrested and released and arrested and released from committing who are right back on the street.
00:27:22.000 This is a problem because even if The state's attorney wanted to prosecute these people, which apparently she just doesn't.
00:27:30.000 Who's going to testify against a violent repeat offender who is right back on your street, on your block, who knows where you live?
00:27:41.000 Who's going to testify?
00:27:43.000 Who's going to show up in court for this?
00:27:45.000 These are the policies, Charlie.
00:27:47.000 This is not some uncontrollable thing.
00:27:50.000 This is the direct result of the So, Brandon Johnson, has he helped at all quell crime in Chicago?
00:28:04.000 Has there been an improvement?
00:28:06.000 Well, his policies haven't been an improvement.
00:28:10.000 His rhetoric certainly hasn't helped.
00:28:14.000 He blamed the 100 shooting victims in the city of Chicago on Fourth of July weekend on Richard Nixon.
00:28:21.000 Okay, so this is, again, is it incompetence?
00:28:27.000 Is it intentional?
00:28:29.000 Is it on purpose?
00:28:31.000 At this point, we can't even wrestle with that question anymore.
00:28:36.000 People are being killed in the streets.
00:28:40.000 Here's another great case for you, and I would love to put a spotlight on this one, so I'll take you up on your offer.
00:28:46.000 Two A tourist, get this, was in the city of Chicago.
00:28:53.000 She was killed on the street by two men who were drag racing their Corvettes, okay?
00:29:00.000 Two men who, you know, what they were even doing in our country or on the street, God only knows, but they received probation.
00:29:10.000 For what, bare minimum, was my understanding, AA would have qualified as some type of vehicular manslaughter.
00:29:21.000 A woman lost her life.
00:29:25.000 A beautiful woman who had her whole future ahead of her.
00:29:28.000 It broke my heart to see it.
00:29:31.000 Charlie, don't worry.
00:29:32.000 The DNC gala party guests, they will have the focus of the CPD and all the whatever other law enforcement agencies that are coming to Chicago.
00:29:45.000 They will make sure that Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson's DNC party guests will be safe, Charlie.
00:29:55.000 The people of Chicago will continue to try to survive Chiraq.
00:30:00.000 Yesterday, there were major protests and riots in Washington, D.C.
00:30:04.000 That is going to come to Chicago and is going to be complete and total bedlam.
00:30:11.000 So William, the people of Chicago, the rank and file, why do they keep on voting for people like Mayor Johnson?
00:30:20.000 That is a very complicated question.
00:30:28.000 Very limited options.
00:30:31.000 Sometimes it's a choice between the lesser of two evils.
00:30:35.000 I think our reporting successfully woke the people of Chicago up to Mayor Lightfoot and the harm that she was doing to the city of Chicago.
00:30:47.000 But then the alternative, I guess, became Mayor Johnson.
00:30:57.000 What's really harmful are the policies.
00:31:00.000 They put hundreds of millions of dollars per week into what they call youth programs.
00:31:09.000 There's really no accountability.
00:31:11.000 We don't really know where this money is being spent, who qualifies to receive this money, what they're spending it on, and it certainly isn't improving The violence.
00:31:23.000 We have more shootings.
00:31:25.000 The more money they spend, the more shootings we have, Charlie.
00:31:28.000 That's the problem.
00:31:29.000 And the rhetoric.
00:31:30.000 That's the other part of this that really breaks my heart as a lifelong Chicagoan, is that you have An assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
00:31:42.000 And I even hate using that word, but what else can we do at this point?
00:31:46.000 But say, an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, right?
00:31:51.000 You would think that any normal person Well, it hasn't slowed Mayor Johnson or Governor Pritzker down one bit.
00:31:57.000 after something like that happens, especially if you're bringing the
00:32:01.000 Democrat convention and the Democrat nominee to your home city, right?
00:32:05.000 Well, it hasn't slowed Mayor Johnson or Governor Pritzker down one bit.
00:32:10.000 They're still calling Donald Trump a racist, a sexist.
00:32:15.000 They're calling him a threat to democracy, an existential threat to democracy, Charlie.
00:32:21.000 And, you know, these are the very people who clearly have no problem propping up a nominee for president who has never actually even won a single election, Charlie.
00:32:35.000 That's well said.
00:32:36.000 William Kelly, how do people support you and back all that you're doing?
00:32:39.000 Well, reporterwilliamjkelly.com is the website.
00:32:43.000 Believe it or not, being a reporter in the city of Chicago requires a legal defense fund.
00:32:48.000 I've been in federal court with Mayor Uh, with, uh, you know, corrupt and incompetent politicians.
00:32:55.000 Uh, so, uh, any, any support would be very greatly appreciated.
00:33:00.000 I'm very, uh, I'm looking forward to seeing you, Charlie, uh, doing a press conference, bringing some attention.
00:33:07.000 If you want to, uh, look at some of the stories and some of the reporting at William J Kelly, um, on Twitter would be a good place to find our, our reporting.
00:33:18.000 William Kelly, thank you so much.
00:33:20.000 Can't wait to see you in Chicago.
00:33:21.000 Thank you.
00:33:22.000 God bless you.
00:33:22.000 Thank you.
00:33:23.000 Email us freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:26.000 The more that people learn about Kamala Harris, the more that they do not want her to become president.
00:33:33.000 This is going to be a political trench warfare.
00:33:36.000 It's going to be tough, but it's going to require grit.
00:33:39.000 It's going to require resolve.
00:33:42.000 I want to play a piece of tape here.
00:33:43.000 This is Donald Trump at the North Carolina rally.
00:33:47.000 If Kamala will lie to you so brazenly about Joe Biden's mental incapacity, then she will lie to you about anything.
00:34:03.000 She can never, ever be trusted.
00:34:05.000 She can't be trusted.
00:34:10.000 And just like crooked Joe Biden, Kamala Harris is unfit to lead.
00:34:15.000 She's unfit to lead.
00:34:17.000 She'll destroy our country.
00:34:19.000 In a year, this country will be destroyed.
00:34:22.000 A vote for Kamala is a vote for four more years of dishonesty, incompetence, weakness, and failure.
00:34:31.000 Other than that, she's doing an excellent job.
00:34:35.000 Recent New York Times poll shows that In a national poll, this is New York Times' Sienna, Donald Trump up one point on Kamala with likely voters.
00:34:46.000 This is a turnout game.
00:34:48.000 Do the work.
00:34:48.000 This is razor thin, razor tight.
00:34:50.000 The future of America hangs on the ballots of the cackling California communist and America first patriot of Donald Trump.
00:34:58.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:34:59.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:35:02.000 Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
