00:00:55.840 oh thank you so much
00:00:57.660 my thousand year old picture is up there
00:00:59.480 we don't look like that anymore
00:01:01.780 I don't know who those people are
00:01:02.900 I'm so honored to have you I'm a huge fan
00:01:05.260 been a fan for a while
00:01:06.960 everyone who watches and loves my show
00:01:10.500 loves to say I'm collecting drag queens 1.00
00:01:12.280 like Thanos like 1.00
00:01:13.860 infinity stones girl i'm getting them all one by one catch them all yeah i'm collecting them on my
00:01:19.680 own pokeball i love balls this is a poke what is it called where you train them a gym oh yeah
00:01:26.420 the gym that they train the little animals in this is a pokemon gym
00:01:30.280 literally but i'm the one being trained i'm strength being strengthened yeah over and over 0.97
00:01:36.600 again it does take strength to deal with drag queens it absolutely does i make this joke every 0.98
00:01:41.920 time i'm like drag queens love me because i'm a cunt and that's okay they love me because i'm a 1.00
00:01:49.080 cunt and they get it real recognize real totally uh yeah they love a mean funny bitch we love that 1.00
00:01:55.980 yeah and i fall into the category that's why sometimes i'll tell straight women who are 1.00
00:01:59.940 annoying um because they they're like they fetishize gay people in a weird way like friendship wise 0.91
00:02:04.960 okay they're always like oh gay people love me they love me and i was like do they because if 0.93
00:02:09.420 you hung out with a gay person like for real if you hung out with gay men drag queens gay anyone 0.98
00:02:14.520 yeah you would hate yourself because they are so mean but i'm just as mean that's why we get along 0.99
00:02:19.660 that's why y'all we vibe it's the perfect equation i feel like you need that you need
00:02:24.940 that kind of like edge to you especially to be a drag queen right i require that i love that
00:02:30.380 i feel at ease with that you feel at home yeah yeah i know if it's too nice something's off
00:02:37.340 i know i gotta be mean to somebody otherwise who knows what'll happen i'll get constipated
00:02:42.460 exactly i gotta empty my systems out i gotta clear it out the flora
00:02:47.820 i'm such a huge fan as i've already stated and obviously you're a drag icon and legend 0.66
00:02:54.980 but for anyone who may be unfamiliar for whatever fucking reason if you watch my show there's no way
00:03:00.460 you don't know who alaska thunderfuck is but just in case people don't i would love to know 0.88
00:03:05.380 the lore behind your drag journey like how did you get started in drag initially what drew you
00:03:11.800 to it well ever since i was a child i always liked like girl clothes because they're better
00:03:19.040 they're cuter and sparkly and like pretty and like they move better totally they also have
00:03:25.260 more variety like yeah men's clothes so boring for hundreds of years kind of was like the same
00:03:31.700 ass thing yeah so like as a child i recognized that and i was like i like this stuff yeah but
00:03:39.180 i wasn't allowed to like that stuff because it was like because my mom didn't want me to like
00:03:44.220 you know die in erie pennsylvania yeah so it became a repressed thing and then once i got
00:03:52.740 to college i was like yes drag that's when you got into into the world yeah initially in college
00:03:59.940 i did and like i didn't really super get drag at first like i walked into one of my first gay bars
00:04:07.320 maybe the first gay bar and there was a drag queen performing and i was like why isn't she singing
00:04:14.920 oh yeah like not live yeah i didn't understand lip syncing oh i see i do now and it's like an 0.50
00:04:21.660 art form and it's brilliant and it's hard yeah but i think that's why it led me to like i i don't do
00:04:28.200 backflips or splits or anything totally but i do make noises into a microphone pretty well
00:04:34.320 pretty compellingly i'd say it worked out for you i'd love to ask um like how your name came about
00:04:42.280 i'd love to know what the genesis of your drag name was marijuana period we love there's a strain
00:04:48.700 called alaskan thunderfuck have you heard of it no i haven't it's not named after me i'm named
00:04:54.040 after it period you start lying and telling people they literally named that after me can 0.97
00:04:57.880 you believe it i would never ruin never but you're a green queen so that's how you came up with it
00:05:05.280 well i was way more than i am now i'm like such a lightweight with weed now really i'm like 0.98
00:05:11.200 i'm like one hit and it's like and i have to be like alone isolated yeah in a padded cell yes
00:05:20.240 chained to the radiator just in case totally otherwise you wake up naked and there's dead
00:05:26.500 body next to you right exactly i can't count how many times that's happened you're like enough god 0.99
00:05:32.260 again again with this shit so annoying it does have a very hit or miss quality about it especially 0.99
00:05:38.060 edibles yeah edibles are crazy or like if i'm really drunk i can like hit someone's weed vape 0.99
00:05:44.400 if i'm feeling like crazy you're feeling crazy feeling like spicy quirky but that's like rare
00:05:52.060 that's like new year's eve we were really going all out like totally las vegas what's like uh the
00:05:59.960 worst uh weed experience you've ever had i've got a few unfortunately once i ate an edible and um i 0.97
00:06:07.620 ate too much of it because it was one of these fucking jelly squares yeah jelly cubes it looks 0.96
00:06:15.100 like a bouillon cube and it's this big yeah and i ate like half of it i didn't even like pop the 0.98
00:06:23.280 whole thing like i thought it was a candy i split this tiny thing in half with a little knife
00:06:28.220 and ate like half of it and then i was like oh that's like 25 milligrams which to me is
00:06:35.480 hospitalization level cannabis but someone threw you in the padded cell it was so crazy and i was
00:06:42.740 So I had to like call my friend Nick on the phone and I was like,
00:06:46.480 please just tell me I'm not going to die.
00:06:48.580 And so he had to continue reminding me that I wasn't going to die for hours.
00:06:52.320 Even with edibles, I feel like I've gone too far a couple of times.
00:06:57.060 And even then it still doesn't stop me.
00:06:59.040 Like I did it a couple of times and I'm like, I need a break.
00:07:01.300 And then a couple of months later, I'm like, I need to try again.
00:07:04.220 And maybe I'm sure it'll be fine.
00:07:05.260 Spin the wheel.
00:07:05.980 Yeah.
00:07:07.000 Go for it.
00:07:07.920 Russian roulette.
00:07:08.700 Let's see.
00:07:09.280 Let's see what comes out on top. 0.98
00:07:10.520 stick that gun right in my mouth and you know one time i was working in new york and i i'd finished 0.56
00:07:16.520 everything and the next morning i was flying out like four in the morning and so my boyfriend and 0.66
00:07:20.580 i were like oh let's just take some edibles and we had bought them in new york legally like at a
00:07:24.160 dispensary the guy was like oh they're pretty light and my boyfriend had taken one the night
00:07:27.420 before he's like they're honestly really i think he kind of upsold me i'm like okay i take one don't
00:07:31.660 feel anything for hours i'm like well i'll take another one i'll take another one we'll see girl
00:07:37.020 i woke up i felt like i was in like you know when alice in wonderland's falling slowly and all the
00:07:41.160 all the furniture are just floating around that's how it felt i woke up i was like i cannot go to
00:07:45.780 the airport i'll get arrested i'm making a no-fly list immediately because they're gonna think i'm
00:07:50.040 on some crazy shit when i go and so i had to like send half my party home like because they were
00:07:56.360 ready to go obviously i'm about to be hospitalized and my boyfriend same boat i don't even know how 0.65
00:08:02.140 many he took and he's a big dude like he's like six four big dude so he was when he tell me more
00:08:09.240 yeah he's he's honestly in the dressing room i should have made him come out here so he could
00:08:13.620 i make him come out so he can model for you my boyfriend has hooded eyes right and um when i
00:08:20.800 woke up and i was like oh this is a issue i have to deal with immediately i was like trying to
00:08:25.820 wake him up i was like i think something's wrong with me i think i'm going insane and he tried to
00:08:29.760 looked at me i've never seen so much white in my boyfriend's eyes like because his eyes are hooded
00:08:34.220 so they're like they're like he has like a forehead that hangs over a little girl i swear
00:08:38.980 his forehead moved up i could see his whole eye i was like i'm scared i'm terrified of you we can't
00:08:43.780 fly we can't fly can't fly i can't fly i'm glad you didn't fly yeah and then literally my flight 0.96
00:08:49.600 i pushed my flight back hours later and i still go to the airport i'm still fucked up still it 0.94
00:08:55.280 stays going through you you just have to like wait till it's over that's the worst part yeah 0.91
00:09:01.380 sounds fun let's do it right now do you have any that being said i do have
00:09:05.920 the very first time i ever smoked weed was off a dab like those ones with the blow torch
00:09:11.520 that's harsh oh yeah oh yeah and that same night was the first night i drank absinthe so clearly i
00:09:17.260 was like going through something were you like in the moulin rouge
00:09:21.480 my name was satine i had red hair
00:09:25.640 behavior i love that for real you know you're like early 20s you're like i could do anything
00:09:33.880 i could drink anything and like run through a brick wall and i'd be okay because you can
00:09:37.600 yeah you can essentially how you feel about weed now is how i feel about alcohol now yeah like i'll
00:09:42.960 partake and have a good like drinky here and there but if i have one too many i'm hung over 0.95
00:09:48.220 for three business days what the fuck is that i can't do that my spirit wants it so bad and my 0.70
00:09:54.320 body says no what's your drink wine i do love a good wine do you like i would love to drink a 0.98
00:10:01.440 bottle of wine at all times and i cannot anymore because then they call me an alcoholic whatever
00:10:08.160 that means it makes me so mad that my body can't keep up are you a red or white girly or do you not
00:10:15.940 care it depends on the weather when it's warm months i like white wine love when it's colder
00:10:22.740 months i love red wine i'm still getting into red i'm not a big fan of red quite yet i do love
00:10:28.420 my teeth purple so i have to like you get that vampire mouth looks like you've been feeding all
00:10:33.080 night so i have to drink by myself that's why i drink by myself you're all that's red wine's a
00:10:39.780 me thing no one's allowed to be with me when i'm drinking red wine or smoking weed wow i have
00:10:46.220 problems this is an intervention there's literally people in chairs like we do have something we do
00:10:52.720 have something we want to talk to all right who wants to read their letter first it's time
00:10:56.340 well okay going back going back to drag i would love uh to get your opinion i know
00:11:03.280 obviously um drag is like so much more mainstream now than it like ever has been in the past and
00:11:09.760 And I'm curious to know if you feel like social media has played a role at all in kind of shifting the dynamic of drag, like whether it's for the better, maybe for the worse, or maybe it's just making it more accessible.
00:11:21.100 I'd love to know your thoughts personally.
00:11:23.500 Totally.
00:11:23.900 And I mean, if you think about it, I think that social media started to become more of a thing around when Drag Race started.
00:11:33.080 Totally.
00:11:33.620 Yeah.
00:11:34.060 Because drag started with RuPaul's Drag Race.
00:11:37.500 It never existed before.
00:11:39.760 that's where it started so i don't look too you heard it here don't look too far back that's where
00:11:45.240 it started but like it is a huge thing so like we call drag race drag is a thing yeah and it
00:11:53.200 evolved around the same time as like twitter was starting to evolve and instagram totally
00:11:59.300 So they really went hand in hand and, like, turbocharged drag into, like, hyperspace.
00:12:10.500 Yeah, it, like, fast tracks you, like, a lot faster.
00:12:13.680 Yeah, because everyone can see, like, what kind of eyelashes are you wearing?
00:12:16.880 What is the hairline of that wig that you're wearing?
00:12:20.260 And then you can instantly get it, find out where it's from.
00:12:23.700 Yeah.
00:12:24.020 And then everybody gets that.
00:12:26.420 then everybody wants to move on to the next better thing or the different thing totally totally so
00:12:31.760 it's like hyperdrive which is good for drag and like makeup you get to look at everybody's makeup
00:12:36.740 and that was cool yeah that was like not the case for most drag queens when they started like it was
00:12:41.640 kind of just a trial and error like figuring it out on your own when i started i would go on my
00:12:47.360 space and look at pictures of drag queens and like pull from their myspace it's just like they're
00:12:53.920 digital camera photos uploaded and i would be like okay i'm good there was no makeup tutorial
00:13:02.180 on youtube yeah it was just like i'm gonna try and copy this yeah and i did so badly
00:13:07.720 and i did i actually did a few of the queens i've had on have said that too like they think it's
00:13:13.580 great that it's become more mainstream and more like not completely socially acceptable obviously 0.87
00:13:19.120 because people are fucking awful and insane but like it's more open and platformed than it ever 0.87
00:13:24.040 has been but then at the same time like queens aren't really uh going through the same kind of 0.99
00:13:28.740 paying your dues process that many queens had to before so it's kind of like yeah it's not really
00:13:32.840 for the drag of it all it's for like the stardom like they just want to be famous and you know i
00:13:38.040 mean and then everyone starts looking the same that's what other queens have told me before 1.00
00:13:41.400 there's a little of that yeah they don't get a chance to be ugly 1.00
00:13:46.620 they don't get to build character
00:13:49.460 it was so blessed to just be able
00:13:51.680 to go out and like 1.00
00:13:53.320 look like shit in drag 1.00
00:13:55.320 it's like a rite of passage 1.00
00:13:57.380 I think so now it's like
00:13:59.220 anything you do is there's a camera
00:14:01.500 and a video and it's in your face and it's all
00:14:03.560 the time and it's online and everyone sees it
00:14:05.320 all the time about everything
00:14:06.920 so there's no like bad
00:14:09.540 drag is
00:14:10.880 important it's essential
00:14:12.920 protect bad drag as
00:14:14.980 as meatball says we need it it's a rite of passage absolutely i got to look horrible for years
00:14:22.960 now i have to look nice all the time do you think i like looking beautiful
00:14:28.580 i don't it probably helps with the appreciation for how long it took to get to a space where
00:14:36.960 you're like okay i found it i got it i've nailed it you need the ugly phases it develops character
00:14:42.180 you deserve it yeah and room for error is always important it helps you grow and evolve and
00:14:48.820 we get better at anything yeah literally i feel like too with uh so many like eyes on it too as
00:14:56.720 well it's become so not necessarily like it's all one monolith everyone's all the same i think it's
00:15:03.700 more so like new like queens that emerge and they're kind of unsure of a talent that they
00:15:10.560 have it's more so like i just want to like be in drag not necessarily like you know some there's
00:15:15.100 like pretty queens and then there's funny queens and then there's like many different subsets um
00:15:20.120 and some are like i just want to be in drag like do really really good drag you're like well that's
00:15:24.180 cool but a little different go off why not well first off let's talk about your musical i would
00:15:32.040 love for you to tell everyone about okay yeah so please tell everyone about drag the musical
00:15:36.540 we started writing it like six years ago or like seven years ago really and so we finally put it
00:15:44.040 in front of an audience like a couple years ago love and now it's like evolving and then we're
00:15:50.720 gonna take it to new york later this year how exciting i find it to be like the most fulfilling
00:15:55.900 thing and i yeah and i didn't always feel that way about it really and so i think that's there's
00:16:03.640 a lesson in there yeah about like just because you because early on i was like this isn't gonna
00:16:09.680 be any this isn't gonna be a thing like i'm glad we're doing this for fun but like this isn't gonna
00:16:15.940 be a thing and it wasn't until after years of working on it and then finally getting people
00:16:21.660 to embody these characters and stand up and say them that it really was like whoa this is actually
00:16:28.880 a thing and it's actually kind of good it's kind of amazing you have something really special once
00:16:34.140 you see it come to life yes but that's not an instantaneous thing definitely not it took so
00:16:40.860 long to get there yeah absolutely so i mean i'm wrong about a lot of things all the time so i have
00:16:47.420 to remember that i'm wrong are you more like cynical do you have like imposter syndrome yeah
00:16:53.100 Yeah. Which is why the comment section is so fascinating to me, because I'm like, what do I have to say possibly that I stand so firmly in as an opinion that I want to type it out?
00:17:09.660 Need other people to see it.
00:17:10.980 and have everyone see it in perpetuity
00:17:14.860 and then have it be like a ranking system
00:17:16.800 like if it gets lots of thumbs up.
00:17:20.340 I am not sure enough about anything in my life
00:17:23.640 That's actually a really good point.
00:17:25.380 to participate in the comment section. 0.99
00:17:28.520 Especially about shit that doesn't matter. 0.99
00:17:30.380 I'm so wrong all the time. 0.99
00:17:33.140 Why would I do that?
00:17:34.660 I wish I had that confidence.
00:17:37.820 I mean, I feel like that's such a relatable experience too.
00:17:40.260 like especially if you've been working on something for a long time you're kind of like
00:17:43.100 this is like really fun but i don't know if anything's going to come of it and then once
00:17:46.380 it's like actually happening and it's in front of your eyes you're like oh my god wow this is
00:17:51.240 the best thing i've ever seen in my entire life which is so exciting i'm so glad and that was
00:17:54.800 something that we were talking about right before we started filming but i think it's wonderful that
00:17:59.240 you're able to use your drag like fame and kind of like pivot into something else which is like
00:18:04.840 writing which i think is so exciting and i'm curious like in the writing process like what
00:18:09.400 was the hardest part for you when you were putting together uh the musical it's very hard like doing
00:18:15.420 the tetris of telling a story and you think about it and it's like
00:18:20.560 all rom-coms are the same plot all shakespeare plays are kind of the same thing yeah like they
00:18:33.340 all end the same and like it's the same formulaic thing you think that until you like start writing
00:18:40.280 about characters and then you're like and we think we know how it's supposed to end but it's like
00:18:44.440 how do we literally get there and you have to like it's like tetris yeah like algebra did you
00:18:51.700 write from like the very beginning to the end or did you kind of move pieces like i know sometimes
00:18:55.640 people write in pieces so they'll like write yeah certain things here and there and then kind of
00:18:59.420 put them all together at the end was that kind of like your process we started with the music
00:19:04.180 okay because that's like what we knew yeah and wanted to build around yeah like with tomas and
00:19:10.220 ashley we've written that's how i know them is like writing drag music like nails nails nails
00:19:15.940 we wrote that together that's shakespeare poetry if you will all of my like drag music pretty much
00:19:24.260 love is from them okay so we started with the music we were like we wanted to sound kind of
00:19:29.460 rock and roll kind of rocky horror kind of yeah kind the sound love and then we went from there
00:19:37.840 and uh it's like algebra still it's like algebra amazing what's been your favorite part of like
00:19:44.680 seeing it come to life now that it's like being realized literally i am addicted to writing a joke
00:19:52.560 and hearing someone do it on stage and the audience laughs love it's euphoric that's your
00:20:01.840 new weed it's like a a dragon that i'm going to continue chasing now i'm addicted to it i think
00:20:08.380 that's wonderful i love it and then it could extend into anything if you really really like
00:20:13.600 have such a strong passion for comedy writing it could go into all kinds of things tv movies
00:20:18.360 more broadway hopefully that'd be amazing i have more confidence in myself as a writer as well
00:20:24.800 because of barbara streisand's book really tea why barbara streisand's book i listened to it all 50
00:20:31.660 hours of it and five zero britney's book was five hours as an audiobook barbara streisand's was 50
00:20:40.940 hours and you listen to all 50 i listened to it for like months but she has always had a clear
00:20:50.580 vision of like how she saw things and how she heard her music totally and she was unwavering
00:20:58.000 in like no it's gotta sound this way or when she's directing a movie she's like no it's gotta 0.92
00:21:03.180 look this way we've got to put the crane on the side of the fucking boat and swing it around like 0.90
00:21:07.400 it has to be this way yeah make it happen yeah and she's also like a writer and so like i don't 0.79
00:21:15.100 know she something about barbara streisand she gave me like more confidence in myself as a writer
00:21:19.700 and i'm like wait i actually can do this so it's that imposter syndrome thing i think yeah it
00:21:25.020 sounds pretty it's pretty strong in you it is strong in this one yeah honestly i feel like
00:21:30.560 people with um really strong imposter syndrome they tend to succeed pretty significantly at
00:21:35.680 everything they try so maybe that's why look at you conquering one world after the other well i
00:21:40.660 think it's good to have a little bit of like maybe i'm wrong absolutely yeah a little bit of humility
00:21:46.680 yeah maybe a little it's okay yeah most most people need that i think more people need that
00:21:51.880 maybe more people in the world do need a little bit more of that i could be wrong
00:21:57.360 just a dash yeah yeah like especially straight men they need that more than anybody
00:22:03.800 just a little just like a tiny bit i could be wrong i could be you know what i could be awful
00:22:11.400 on that one and i could say that especially because as a virgo and just who i am i'm a big
00:22:17.560 know-it-all and i was a big know-it-all when i was a kid i'm definitely a lot better now i wouldn't
00:22:21.500 say it's gone entirely unfortunately that's my wolverine that i'm like fighting every time
00:22:26.980 someone says anything to me nobody likes know-it-all so i think just a little bit and you
00:22:32.360 know who helped me with that it's like my sister is the complete opposite of that so she's very
00:22:36.400 like i could be wrong i could be right who cares but my sister i always tell people this because
00:22:41.820 it it really like reframed my mind about that whenever she's like talking about something and
00:22:47.000 someone's like no you're wrong because of this my sister goes oh well i don't care so like that's
00:22:52.880 her response like no matter who it is it 180'd my mindset because i was like what a freeing feeling 0.89
00:22:58.320 yeah to just be like oh you're right who gives a shit yeah oh who cares because most things that 0.93
00:23:03.280 people like dig their heels they really don't matter at the end of the day most things they 0.81
00:23:07.160 don't and there's great strength in being like oh yeah i'm totally wrong about that
00:23:13.700 exactly i envy that about you that you have that there's great strength in it absolutely
00:23:19.740 and collaboratively i think it's also like important to be like i'm not gonna like fight
00:23:25.600 you tooth and nail about it totally yeah oh yeah no especially in a creative endeavor too yeah
00:23:33.520 because it's so different from like you know standard nine to five corporate kind of jobs
00:23:38.820 like yeah in a creative environment you like literally have to learn how to like bounce off
00:23:43.300 of each other and not be so like digging your heels in and shit so i envy that about you i 0.66
00:23:47.440 wish i had more of that to be honest well but now i just carry that that like oh well i don't care 0.97
00:23:52.460 so it's hard to like use that as a practice a religious practice if you will for me that's good
00:23:58.860 that's permanent life hack oh well i don't care yeah she'll go like oh well i just remembered i
00:24:06.360 don't care so that's okay and it gets people every time every time she says that they're just like oh
00:24:12.520 okay they just drop it and everybody moves on with their lives must be nice
00:24:17.340 so feel free to adapt that if you will you got it okay so we're gonna pivot into our topic for
00:24:26.500 the day okay which is why does society and particularly straight men love to tear down
00:24:31.200 pop divas which is pretty i feel standard i mean across the entertainment industry i feel like
00:24:37.800 there's many women and drag queens especially that have like amassed uh an audience fame and
00:24:44.300 And a lot of men like to, you know, pick them apart piece by piece.
00:24:48.440 And I feel like with pop divas, drag queens, all the same. 0.98
00:24:52.080 Men are just so awful all together. 1.00
00:24:55.740 Yeah. 0.99
00:24:56.600 Why?
00:24:57.940 I don't know.
00:24:58.860 I really don't know.
00:25:00.260 It's like a lot. 0.98
00:25:01.800 We're always just minding our business and they just come in here and start poking around for no fucking reason. 0.90
00:25:07.180 I mean, I think of Taylor Swift, of course. 0.93
00:25:09.520 as the sort of preeminent, like, extremely popular young woman,
00:25:17.760 pop diva music artist, her music's good, bro.
00:25:23.840 Yeah, it's fun.
00:25:25.080 There's a reason.
00:25:27.140 It's sort of like McDonald's.
00:25:29.840 Yeah.
00:25:30.540 Like, they've served a billion people.
00:25:33.060 Yeah.
00:25:33.880 It's not because their food is horrible.
00:25:36.800 Yeah.
00:25:37.040 Their food is good.
00:25:38.400 Yeah.
00:25:38.700 and it's marketed in a smart way her music is good yeah so people are like oh she's overrated 1.00
00:25:47.260 or it's like but a lot of people like her shit and a lot of people go and watch her shit so she's 0.99
00:25:53.880 good she has to be to some extent it's gotta be it's kind of like when uh whenever because men 1.00
00:26:01.180 like really fucking hate me on the internet but like like awful men wear that as a badge of honor 0.96
00:26:06.440 uh but when they comment on my shit and they're like you're not even that you're not even funny 0.99
00:26:10.580 you're not fucking funny i'm like well i mean one of us is funny like if we were to like check tape 0.97
00:26:17.040 one of us is getting paid to do it for a living one of us isn't so like i'd like to think i'm a 0.98
00:26:21.600 little funny to some extent to someone maybe not you specifically but it's the same thing it's like
00:26:26.680 well you can't really success kind of speaks for itself in terms of whether or not it's working for
00:26:32.340 some people so yeah you know what i mean it's kind of like if people were trying to critique
00:26:36.040 your drag you're like well can i see yours like i'd probably agree with them first of all like
00:26:43.180 first off but got me there but also like yeah like yeah i do i do i do drag yeah yeah so like
00:26:52.040 i mean i think the only job that i can do so i don't really have a choice
00:26:56.860 gotta gotta lean in i've said that about this job i'm like this is the only job i could have
00:27:03.480 where i could wear whatever i want and be late all the time and i'm living for it i need that
00:27:08.460 hey i need that i actually need that in a job requirement no other job on this planet would
00:27:13.040 let me do that so this is the one for me i gotta i gotta make it count so i'm gonna read uh some
00:27:20.420 descriptions of videos that are like applicable to our topic of men trying to like tear down pop
00:27:26.180 divas okay and uh we're just gonna talk about them kiki about them laugh if necessary all those
00:27:33.180 things so can we cry if you feel so inclined it's an it's a safe space in here you could do whatever
00:27:39.200 you want okay great in this video uh from last year a man is saying that people have quote turned
00:27:45.520 on selena gomez and started calling her a pick me because she's made so many videos on social media
00:27:50.100 lately talking about how single she is he says people are sick of hearing her say she's not in
00:27:55.120 a relationship uh later it was revealed that all of this social media content was part of her
00:28:00.460 promotional plan to release her song single soon so it was like a marketing ploy her making videos
00:28:07.280 about that i guess right but he was basically saying uh no one wants to hear about how not
00:28:13.620 in a relationship she is this is from last year obviously i think she's in a relationship now so 0.98
00:28:17.700 um it's just men talking shit on successful women being like yeah who cares that you're single i'm 0.97
00:28:23.080 like men complain about being single all the time and you guys do it on podcasts they do oh yeah 0.99
00:28:29.340 girl a man with a podcast a threat i've never heard of a man with a podcast really
00:28:35.220 unfortunately are they out there unfortunately for me i've been exposed to like all of the
00:28:42.760 worst straight men in the world who are like i lost my hair at 22 i'm single and nobody likes 0.57
00:28:49.360 me okay i'm gonna buy a microphone and complain about how women are the problem oh it's very
00:28:54.480 prevalent and honestly i think it kicked up a lot in like 2020 when we're all at home 1.00
00:28:58.560 and so they were like you know what i should do talk about how much i fucking hate women 0.65
00:29:03.680 let me get my favorite men together and let's all do it together but like 0.99
00:29:07.500 but like why uh i'm assuming it's because they don't get any puss but that's just my working 0.57
00:29:15.560 theory but if they want puss why are they being mean to the to the holders of
00:29:22.840 the book i don't know i don't understand the tactic me either i've literally said if you 1.00
00:29:29.960 just shut your fucking mouth you'll probably get some puss if you just shut your mouth just stop 0.99
00:29:34.980 talking it'll probably work on its own you know like women in heterosexual relationships women 1.00
00:29:40.660 are so like their standards are first of all in hell but like also they're like just someone who's 1.00
00:29:45.940 like nice to me yeah like you could be the ugliest bitch in the world and you'll probably get a 1.00
00:29:50.840 girlfriend if you're nice like if you just have a hobby or like an interest and you're nice to her 1.00
00:29:55.560 i'm sure you'll get plus i'm positive but they can't even do that so that's so funny that you
00:30:02.220 say that my my requirement when i was like trying to find a boyfriend like younger in my life was
00:30:07.740 they were like no not even trying to find a boyfriend i was like would you sleep with that
00:30:12.160 guy i was like if he was nice to me like literally that's the requirement i'm telling you it's very 0.98
00:30:18.060 important yeah and very rare apparently so many men are not nice what the fuck is going on 0.67
00:30:25.480 yeah what is going on what is up with that they're so angry they're so upset my body like can't 0.52
00:30:34.220 like open up for someone if they're not nice to me and if they start to be mean to me it's like a 0.80
00:30:41.120 butthole just goes inside your body all of me goes like that you just cave in like a
00:30:48.280 venus fly trap closing i feel like that's a pretty common experience many i feel like many
00:30:55.580 many many people have that they're like just like please just like be nice to me i feel like that's
00:31:00.360 insane thing to have to ask yes it is would you mind just being a little nicer to me just a little
00:31:08.060 and then with straight men like when women ask straight men to do that they're like oh god where 1.00
00:31:12.240 does it end first you guys want to vote now you want this fuck and it's just upsetting 0.99
00:31:17.380 it's very upsetting uh so the comments on this someone said she's hitting the wall dating is 0.99
00:31:23.860 harder for women the more successful they get basically saying it's her fault that she's single
00:31:28.920 because she's too successful i'm like well go get a job i'm sure it's a lot i'm sure if you did that
00:31:35.440 it would probably help your chances i think sometimes too with men who see women like
00:31:40.800 selena gomez right they're like god i would never date her yeah that's why like if yeah you're not
00:31:49.900 you're you're actively not dating selena gomez because that's your choice i'm choosing to not
00:31:54.300 don't worry we've talked about it we're just gonna stay friends i'm like you don't you could 0.99
00:32:01.260 never get a bitch who looked anything like singhomas please please don't you're pissing me 0.99
00:32:05.280 off yeah i do understand i mean because i feel like it can be like a threatening thing for men 1.00
00:32:15.180 totally because lady gaga talked about in five foot two on netflix period she was like where am
00:32:20.460 i gonna find some guy who just comes into my mansion and is like hey puts his feet up and
00:32:28.240 it's like what's up like where is that guy yeah but she found him period and he's really nice
00:32:34.300 love that for her but that's honestly so real like um i feel like that's the case with most
00:32:39.080 pop divas too like these men like that they date and it doesn't work out like taylor swift's
00:32:45.100 another one where they they've like been like oh she's always moving on to other men i'm like 1.00
00:32:48.280 some men will have four girlfriends at once and you bitches don't give a fuck like and all of a 1.00
00:32:52.660 sudden when women have long-term meaningful relationships over years they're like or 1.00
00:32:56.880 fucking burn her witch uh which is stupid but also i feel like yeah with with women i feel like 1.00
00:33:05.280 i think men like them in theory like they're like okay she's beautiful she's talented like she's 1.00
00:33:10.200 smart she i'm sure she's funny whatever they like them in theory and then when you actually 0.98
00:33:14.920 you know in practice start dating a really famous fucking person like selena almost whatever you 0.96
00:33:22.500 have to date everything that comes with her which is like all of the attention all of the fans all 0.99
00:33:27.540 of the paparazzi all of the media all of the everything and then that's when men start to 0.99
00:33:31.560 crumble because they're like sense of self is so rooted in like being awesome or whatever the fuck 1.00
00:33:37.540 and then they just feel outshined by women like that and then they're like ah fuck her and then 1.00
00:33:41.280 they go and cheat and all of a sudden that's her fault so like right it's kind of sad how that 0.99
00:33:45.880 works i feel like many pop divas have had that similar experience i'm not sure if that happens
00:33:49.680 in the in the gay community but it does yeah being uh threatened by success kind of thing
00:33:55.980 also barbara streisand has movies about that she does she has a movie about everything i feel like
00:34:00.780 she's lived a million lives a star is born is like about that yeah totally absolutely she's
00:34:05.840 super successful and the guy like doesn't like that he doesn't vibe that yeah he likes it in
00:34:11.240 the beginning right when he's more successful than her right and then as soon as she starts 0.99
00:34:15.520 catching up to him and inevitably passing him all of a sudden he's like fuck you yeah like they get 0.98
00:34:21.480 jealous which is weird yeah weirdo i've been with my boyfriend now we're going on seven years and 0.97
00:34:28.380 thankfully and i dated i've been dating him way before this happened to me so like now i saw a
00:34:36.680 tweet yesterday where someone said do you think people in relationships now feel like when they
00:34:41.540 look at the dating scene how it is currently they feel like they caught the last plane out of saigon 0.87
00:34:46.280 because that is kind of how i feel you feel like i i got that last chopper bitch i was on there 0.88
00:34:52.400 see ya totally my sending out peace and love and prayers to everybody dating currently 0.73
00:34:59.060 it's it looks rough out there right now i'm happy to be on the bench my boyfriend is wonderful
00:35:04.860 and love i've known him for many years like before we ever even started dating love same
00:35:11.300 same with mine which i'm like same with your boyfriend i knew him for years before i started
00:35:15.280 with my boyfriend so just to clarify i wasn't dating alaska's boyfriend i was dating my
00:35:22.980 that's the headline of this video just to clarify do want don't spread that rumor
00:35:27.480 but like it's important it's necessary and i am not taylor swift level famous same or selena
00:35:37.740 gomez same actually at all yeah but in the world of gay you are i kind of might as well be absolutely
00:35:48.340 when it comes to trying to date someone totally so there's all the sort of guardedness of like
00:35:54.380 are you just trying to get instagram followers if you are you should date someone else
00:36:00.720 who is because i'm not that good at instagram and my followers have stayed the same for 0.90
00:36:05.540 fucking five years so to someone else that's not my strength it's not my strength there's 0.93
00:36:11.520 just like that precaution of like is that what this is yeah because i've i've had that page 0.99
00:36:18.020 turn oh my gosh in dating scenarios yeah and it's like it's like oh no no no no so my boyfriend now
00:36:26.380 doesn't give a fuck about instagram that's so that's so funny i i've told my creator friends
00:36:34.520 like my other girlfriends who are single and they're in the industry i've told them i'm like 0.98
00:36:38.980 you need someone who's like familiar enough with social media but doesn't know shit about it like
00:36:44.780 doesn't really give a fuck about it but knows enough to like understand your lore and what you
00:36:50.000 do for a living yes but also not so like in it totally just outside that's what you need totally 0.58
00:36:57.920 because you have someone too out of touch it's like hard to explain what you do for a living
00:37:02.240 and like how your job works too in you're like ick yeah because then they want to make couples
00:37:08.380 content uh-oh get that away from me sometimes people ask me they're like can you guys make
00:37:15.780 couples videos no no actually um i'm the star on my channel so i don't need any co-stars i'm good
00:37:24.240 there you go i'm good i'm set that's it um i'm kind of a one woman show on mine so 1.00
00:37:30.060 uh okay i'm gonna read another comment on here it says so glad she's so annoying don't get how
00:37:36.700 people love her okay and this one says embarrassing new taylor swift again the whole like dating too
00:37:43.300 many men kind of deal which is you know what i mean like what's the measure i feel like there
00:37:47.900 are so many famous men that had just a whole like harem of women i was literally just gonna use the
00:37:53.600 word harem i believe that pop divas should be allowed to have a harem i would love that let's 0.89
00:38:01.920 flip let's get let's maybe do let's shake shit up let's like let's have one just have seven 1.00
00:38:06.820 boyfriends real liz taylor go all at the same time yes right sister wives but inverse taylor 1.00
00:38:14.220 should date the whole football team including the coach throw him in there too i live for that 1.00
00:38:20.940 she's dating 30 men at this that would be so hot like yes these are my seven men 0.63
00:38:26.840 one for each day of the rotation right a roster a moving roster absolutely that would be oh that
00:38:33.720 would be so tea i would love to see that happen especially if it was taylor swift of all people
00:38:38.260 she's so like normal like you said a harem of young men fear each carpet she walked different
00:38:46.180 guy on her arm go i love that lean in i'm getting into it you should write something about that
00:38:51.740 later okay it's taylor swift as the main character absolutely a couple like i think years ago
00:38:58.820 my boyfriend uh got approached by this dude at the gym and my boyfriend has unfortunately is a
00:39:05.640 large man so like men are like moth to a flame to him and love to talk about like what do you do 0.69
00:39:11.660 with the gym whatever the fuck so he has to sit there and listen to it a lot and this one guy 0.98
00:39:15.960 like went on a whole tangent he's just talking at my boyfriend for however long and then my 0.98
00:39:20.260 boyfriend's telling me this story and he said that this guy was talking about how he wanted to
00:39:25.280 have a harem of women and he was like well first of all he was linking it to being muslim which i
00:39:31.000 was like you don't have to abuse the muslim faith in order to just like have multiple partners and 1.00
00:39:36.580 you don't have to do that you could just fuck multiple people at the same time sure um but 1.00
00:39:41.060 anyways he was saying he wanted a harem of women because he wants to be able to pass on 1.00
00:39:45.940 his genetics and like procreate with lots of women have basically have a whole bunch of 0.99
00:39:51.520 fucking kids and he was like i want to be able to pass on my jeans mind you this man is 24 and 0.98
00:39:57.320 his hairlines receding already so i mean i'm just gonna go on a limb and say maybe your jeans aren't 0.99
00:40:02.860 the ones that should be being passed down i don't know if you're the girl i can't imagine
00:40:08.720 having one child is brave at this point on planet earth for real it is a brave and bold choice
00:40:19.680 i love babies i think they're so cute and it's amazing totally i'm like i'm not gonna like put
00:40:26.420 i'm not gonna participate yeah i'm not the one mama but to be like i want 20 children you're
00:40:35.060 crazy and he's not gonna take care of one of them that's so wild it's real gross where is that 0.71
00:40:40.980 confidence i don't know i was just gonna say like give me what are y'all smoking like i think i need
00:40:47.140 some of it yeah sometimes i'm like maybe you guys are on to something whatever crack you're smoking
00:40:51.580 i think i need some of it i think i need a little woke up one day and felt that good about myself
00:40:57.480 so i was like i want to put 20 me into the next generation dude that like unbridled
00:41:04.540 borderline delusional confidence if i yeah you're right if i woke up with that one day
00:41:08.580 i'd probably like grow 20 stories high and start knocking buildings down like godzilla
00:41:12.780 i'm just gonna cause havoc i'm gonna wreak havoc on the world yeah when he was saying that i was
00:41:17.500 telling my boyfriend i'm like that guy has an underbite like you don't need more kids 0.66
00:41:20.960 you're in your 20s you still haven't gone to the dentist you don't need more kids girl you don't 0.97
00:41:25.580 don't pass that on keep that inside let it die with you i was like if your gene pool die with
00:41:31.440 you i think that's the best for planet earth if i'm being honest okay i'm gonna read this next 1.00
00:41:37.140 video so in this video a girl is doing the um give a vague but true hot take trend and her take is
00:41:45.900 disliking pop music is inherently misogynistic i think it's t depending on like why you don't
00:41:51.520 like it right so like like if they just hate it for no reason i think that's obviously misogyny
00:41:56.120 if you're just it's just not your fave you just like prefer other genres i think that's fine
00:42:00.780 because i feel like pop is um well it's an art form music so like art is subjective so not
00:42:06.360 everybody's gonna love the same shit um but i feel like if you just hate it for no reason it's 0.98
00:42:11.600 just like being homophobic like if you hate gay people for no reason like a reason you can't even 1.00
00:42:16.160 explain yeah it's probably not good well there's probably something else going on it's like hating
00:42:20.480 disco like when that whole like disco totally dread thing happened yeah and like we're gonna 0.56
00:42:25.700 burn the disco records in the baseball field that was homophobic yeah literally and racist
00:42:35.920 yeah and misogynistic and it was coded as like protecting being about disco and rock and roll
00:42:42.680 but it was really just an excuse for like totally uh misogyny yeah there's always an underlying
00:42:49.220 like message underneath it which is it's not the superficial reasoning it's literally like a
00:42:55.060 bigoted ideology that you're just taking out on an art form which i i don't love every genre of
00:43:01.400 music but like i don't hate any music like i'm not like i hate that i just don't it's like i feel
00:43:09.320 like you have that attitude of all the things you're like i don't like hate no anything really
00:43:14.320 it's just like i prefer some things over others yeah it's real like neutral i'm just kind of like
00:43:19.540 if you hate pop music girl get a job get a hobby yeah listen to barbara streisand's book i don't
00:43:30.120 know listen to it i do recommend that do something with your life girl i think you need a hobby
00:43:36.840 for real honestly you're inspiring me to listen to it i heard this podcast once i can't remember
00:43:43.440 what it was but there's a woman on it and she was like when i'm on dates like a first date
00:43:48.940 i ask the guy i'm on a date with what he thinks about beyonce period and in doing that she can
00:43:57.400 find out so much information about how he feels about women how he feels about black women 0.99
00:44:03.480 like instantly t i didn't know this was a thing but apparently like lots of women that's like a
00:44:10.780 first date question that's a great first date question i think that's get it out of the way
00:44:14.960 yeah yeah because again like if you hate to beyonce and some men do for reasons they can't
00:44:21.520 even explain okay first of all go to hell second of all the cops are on their way and third what 0.96
00:44:28.500 the fuck is wrong with you like how could you ever hate one of the greatest living entertainers of 0.99
00:44:32.080 all time like yeah i don't know girl can't explain that that's a great first date question you're 1.00
00:44:37.040 right it tells you so many things because a man could literally be like oh she's cool like i don't
00:44:41.340 i don't like love the music but i do love some of her stuff and that's it like you could just 0.54
00:44:45.120 leave it at that but men who are like oh i hate her i hate her she's so overrated i hate her
00:44:49.920 there might be something else going on
00:44:53.040 i recently thought well first some women actually put me in their like profiles on tinder and stuff 0.97
00:45:01.840 and they're like oh really yeah they're like if you hate drew off wallow on tiktok then don't
00:45:07.120 swipe on me don't swipe right white right yeah left is bad i have these sunglasses and i just
00:45:14.360 broke them in my pocket but they're really cool this is um it has a rearview mirror
00:45:20.920 oh it has to come out first i like how the arm ripped off but the rearview mirror is still
00:45:27.840 the rear view mirror is intact so i can see like behind me keep an eye on your ops behind you gotta 0.76
00:45:34.260 keep an eye on you gotta watch your back at all times the other arm wait shit the other arm 0.96
00:45:41.240 has a lipstick holder isn't that nice where did you get those inspector gadget glasses 0.97
00:45:49.540 they look like something out of spy kids girl i don't know the name of the designer
00:45:54.280 I got them so many years ago
00:45:56.720 I'm sure you could just put the little
00:45:58.620 screw in the arm I'm sure they'll go back together
00:46:00.660 easy I need an eyeglasses kit
00:46:02.720 on the set stat
00:46:04.640 please
00:46:05.200 it has a little but like
00:46:08.680 they're an amazing eyeglass
00:46:10.600 do you actually put lipstick in there
00:46:11.980 I have once 0.85
00:46:14.260 more chapstick
00:46:16.020 I'm so sorry that was supposed to be
00:46:20.620 seamless while you were talking
00:46:22.180 it wasn't supposed to interrupt what you were saying no no you're totally fine um oh i was
00:46:27.460 just saying that what was i saying oh people put me in their tinder profiles just to ward off men
00:46:31.760 so they're like if you hate drew just like swipe left on me i was like i love that for you girl
00:46:37.860 um i thought of one recently though where i was like this is i think a really good tell for men
00:46:42.500 like to tell if they're horrible is if you ask a man if he thinks he could take a monkey in a fight
00:46:48.380 like a like a ape like a primate hand-to-hand combat like if he thinks he could fight a monkey
00:46:54.680 and win that man's a misogynist who would think that they could girl like a like a no girl you
00:47:02.500 would be shocked to know how many straight men think they could actually fight an ape which is 0.93
00:47:06.820 insane i'm like i'm like monkeys literally choose not to kill us so i'm if you think you could be 0.89
00:47:14.160 one in hand-to-hand girl you're out of your mind i've even said too i'm like bullets barely stop 0.98
00:47:19.560 gorillas you gotta shoot them 15 times you think you could take one hand to hand so that's my new 0.94
00:47:27.080 litmus i think when people ask me i want to say ask him if he thinks he could take a monkey in a 0.94
00:47:31.000 fight like you just ran into one on the street and you guys started beefing if you if you think
00:47:36.620 you could win it's a good tell oh my god that's another life hack right i'm saying beyonce me
00:47:44.220 and then if they could fight a monkey tell you all you need to know about a man and whether or
00:47:51.680 not he's the worst person alive it goes back to what you said about if i could have that confidence
00:47:56.280 if i could just like harness that for a day what could i accomplish my life would be different
00:48:01.460 peace on earth would be restored obviously i would yes what yes imagine if they put all that
00:48:09.500 energy into something else like into like world hunger yeah like finding like cures for incurable
00:48:18.560 diseases god what the what could the world look like if men just stopped being awful for a second
00:48:25.260 please okay so the comments on this video about like hating like just absolutely hating pop music
00:48:32.420 for no reason uh this guy wrote okay then i'm a proud misogynist well i mean you said it not me
00:48:39.980 oh cool i don't care exactly it applies amen this one says misogyny is the best and then in
00:48:49.720 parentheses rap music destroys by the way they're just saying it's better which again like i don't
00:48:54.960 think you can compare genres like you can't like i feel like they're real apples and oranges because
00:48:59.540 like the measures are different in both categories like entirely so you can't compare rap to pop
00:49:06.260 because they're two different things like you can't say one's better than the other i i agree
00:49:10.560 completely i think it's just they're two different art forms two different stuff like again it's just
00:49:15.220 like rap man pop girl that's how they categorize they're like rap for man pop for girl and gay
00:49:22.160 people pop is very good as it should be as god intended absolutely and this last one says my
00:49:30.160 eardrums stay out here hating women don't care the comment section is so scary yeah it's so
00:49:39.000 scary i just can't i can't imagine that you listen to the fame monster by lady gaga and you hate that 0.86
00:49:44.260 there's no way i love it that's what i'm saying you cannot listen to that album front to back 0.98
00:49:49.340 and be like this is this sucks there's no way you're a liar it's so good you're literally a 0.99
00:49:54.320 liar you're such a liar yeah and i feel like if more men were honest about how much they love pop 1.00
00:50:00.320 music then maybe they wouldn't be so fucking angry all the time the world would be a better place 0.99
00:50:04.700 it would it would heal it would start healing star trek future i think we'd have flying cars 0.76
00:50:11.460 jetpacks all that we would have all of that at the ready what's crazy is that again like you said
00:50:17.220 it's all lens towards a like a bigoted ideology ideology so it's like it's homophobia and
00:50:23.920 misogyny when you just inherently hate it because you they associate pop music because it's so 0.71
00:50:29.620 beloved by women and it's dominated by women and gay people queer people they're like oh for girls 0.84
00:50:34.420 feminine gross which i just like don't understand yeah i don't get that at all i don't understand 0.96
00:50:40.500 how you could listen to that and be like ah that's for girls and also understand like full 0.61
00:50:46.680 tea it's like okay there's a woman like and she's the singer and she's on the front of the album but 0.98
00:50:52.060 like there are all sorts of genders of people who are making the music and the instruments and the
00:50:58.580 production and the writing and like yeah there's all types of people in there
00:51:03.540 putting that together so it's not just woman
00:51:06.520 it's kind of everybody yeah and it's good and also like some of the greatest producers in the
00:51:13.160 world write for men women and everyone in between like they write for rap pop like they write for
00:51:19.380 everyone it's not music's not gendered at all so you can the freedom of being able to like whatever
00:51:24.660 you want i know it's okay it's okay again like you said it's just a buried homophobia like they're
00:51:31.040 just like i hate that gay people queer people and women love that so i'm gonna hate it when 0.98
00:51:35.360 gay people and women love you 1.00
00:51:37.360 girl you're 0.94
00:51:39.460 gonna be famous
00:51:40.180 if they love you I'm telling you 1.00
00:51:43.260 you get the girls on your side
00:51:45.220 totally you're gonna have a long
00:51:47.320 illustrious career in entertainment I'll tell you
00:51:49.480 that much absolutely what is
00:51:51.460 it's from sex in the city 1.00
00:51:53.220 she's like first you get 1.00
00:51:55.420 the girls then you get the gay 1.00
00:51:57.760 oh wait no first you get the gays then 1.00
00:51:59.460 you get the girls 0.99
00:52:00.200 can't remember the order
00:52:02.400 first you get the girls
00:52:05.120 then you get the gays then you get the whole world and that's tea i'm paraphrasing sorry
00:52:12.780 samantha jones that's honestly so true and you know that too your career is fostered by the girls 0.82
00:52:18.000 and the gays too well thank god for rupaul's drag race absolutely i mean and well and they're just
00:52:23.580 like i feel like they're such loyal fans like they'll follow you forever they really love you
00:52:28.760 and they like are commit to loving you like they'll follow you wherever you go on all your
00:52:34.580 different endeavors throughout your career people with like primarily male fan bases
00:52:38.740 yikes they scare me like any famous person with a primarily male demographic ew like who like
00:52:48.980 who has that i'm trying to think i certainly don't what like joe rogan okay you know what i mean like
00:52:55.220 one of those guys like yeah i'm trying to think i me not even knowing because i don't know i'm not
00:53:00.320 a fan of like men like that so i mean i struggling to find an example i'll never understand because
00:53:07.720 i i've even said to him like my demographic is overwhelmingly not men like my demographic's
00:53:13.620 honestly insane the numbers it's like 98 too which is like very very high and that's not accounting
00:53:20.340 for people who don't operate within a gender binary either yeah so like that's an unprecedented
00:53:25.120 like very high female demographic and that's how i want it and that's how i prefer it like if i had
00:53:32.720 mostly male followers that's i take that as a threat to me personally an open threat like if
00:53:37.820 men want to follow me and they love me oh hate that straight men get away from me hate that
00:53:44.000 like that's that scares me i don't need that i love that 98 too that's fierce it's high
00:53:51.780 sometimes my uh my girlfriends will ask me like how did you like how do i you know how did you
00:53:59.040 change the demographic to like to get it to that point and i'm like well it's pretty simple i just 0.77
00:54:03.900 uh made men fucking hate me so nothing moves the needle quite like that 0.56
00:54:08.980 they they mobilize quickly uh when you antagonize them constantly so okay i just go and i hit that 0.99
00:54:17.380 hornet's nest with a big old stick all the time yeah but okay so we talked about all kinds of
00:54:24.740 things right um but i just to wrap i would love to know um what your i'll ask you two different
00:54:30.940 questions actually so first what your best piece of advice is for anyone that may be looking to go
00:54:36.100 into the drag world right now like in the current climate um what would you say is your best piece 0.99
00:54:41.160 of advice for them if it's something they really want to do but they want to do it right and they 0.99
00:54:45.260 want to do it in a way that will be fulfilling and hopefully successful obviously you can't
00:54:49.740 guarantee that but what would you say is your best piece of advice for them well when I first
00:54:55.700 started drag it was not a viable career choice it was actually like you're throwing your life away
00:55:02.260 uh you've lost your mind uh no one understood what drag was yeah what I was doing but I still
00:55:10.720 with all of that in mind I was still was compelled to do it yeah and I had to do it so if you do have
00:55:18.340 a compulsion that is undeniable to to do drag then okay do it and then my next piece of advice
00:55:26.920 is figure out what is what is you about it because like you said there's that thing of like all the 0.97
00:55:36.420 drag queens can end up looking the same because there's all the same makeup tutorials totally
00:55:41.740 and wig things and all the things are the same yeah so figure out what it is that's you about it
00:55:49.260 and really make sure you know what that is and can someone draw like a cartoon of you on a napkin
00:55:57.440 and be like recognizable as you yeah that's such a good point because then it's like distinctly you
00:56:03.280 yeah and that's what makes it unique yeah and then my next question would be in the thread of
00:56:08.360 advice because now obviously you've conquered drag and um now you're kind of pivoting more
00:56:13.980 into writing and like you're working on your musicals so for people who maybe want to like
00:56:18.920 utilize something that they've maybe gotten successful at but they kind of want to pursue
00:56:23.060 other avenues what would you say is your best piece of advice for them i don't know just do it
00:56:28.040 do everything yeah try it like yeah i mean especially nowadays i feel like there isn't
00:56:37.440 one concrete path for anything totally so it's like if you want to write a screenplay
00:56:43.280 just do it do it yeah and see how it goes because i think in your mind you can defeat
00:56:52.440 yourself a thousand times totally before you even start it yeah and then realize that once you start
00:56:58.620 it it's gonna be really fun at first then it's gonna be fucking horrible then it's gonna be 0.73
00:57:02.760 difficult then you're gonna hate it then you're then you might like it yeah if you stay the path 0.80
00:57:09.000 it's like five stages of grief you're getting through it and then it will hopefully work out
00:57:15.640 in the end because you were meant to do it hopefully yeah yeah yeah i hope it does it did
00:57:22.800 for you thank god yeah well thank you so much for coming on the show you're amazing thank you
00:57:28.840 you're amazing period i would love for everyone who doesn't know where can they find you in my

00:58:05.620 has my fucking name why can't who is the person it's just the same do they want money is it a 0.98
00:58:12.560 ransom i would like to just go to their house i don't want to like fight i just want to be like 0.99

00:58:36.380 just to prove invite them outside and then i'll have the ape and then they have to fight them in
