00:01:12.980 Hey everyone and welcome back to another episode of the Comment Section Show starring me, your
00:01:23.660 fave, everybody knows me, who cares about me. On to the guest. Today we have the iconic,
00:01:28.560 the legendary Dana Patterson, aka Dana Isabella. Yes, it's me. Welcome to the show. Thank you so
00:01:36.420 much for having me. Long time coming. I'm so excited to be here. I know, we go way back,
00:01:39.820 we do go way back. We go, you and me are like this. I love to tell the story about the time
00:01:43.860 that we were in Toca Madera without our shoes on. I forgot about that shit. Just wiling through 1.00
00:01:49.640 West Hollywood, you know, it's no worries. Oh God. We've ended up with whatever kind of disease
00:01:54.440 through our fever prayers. You, me, and the energy between us. Yes, very true. At Toca Madera.
00:01:58.100 Yeah. People stare at us angrily, but you know, good times. Yeah, it's what it is. That's what
00:02:02.820 happens when you have me host a dinner and invite my friends. Yes. Sorry. And it was still
00:02:07.880 the best brand dinner that I've had to this day. So sorry, it was a good time. What can
00:02:12.260 I say? If I do say so myself, same. Yes. It was a blast and a half. That was the first
00:02:18.760 time we met in person. Yes, that was the first time we met in person. Yeah, but we've, we've
00:02:22.040 been online friends for a minute. Oh yes, for such a long time. Long time. Like. You're
00:02:25.700 an icon, a legend. You've been in the game a while. It has been a minute. Yeah. I am
00:02:29.560 an OG. We're getting close to the 15 year mark, which frightens me slightly. Damn, that's
00:02:33.400 crazy. Yes. 15 years. Yes. Granted, I started very young, but yes, time flies. That's 1.00
00:02:38.060 true. When you have trauma. So here I am. Yeah. No worries. I know your lore, but I
00:02:42.160 would love for everyone else to know like how you got, obviously Dana, Dana is a
00:02:45.240 beautiful model for those wondering. She's much more than just an influencer like
00:02:49.680 me. I'm just a dickhead on the internet. Oh, shut the fuck up. I can't. But Dana is 0.99
00:02:53.320 actually a real life model. So I would love for you to tell everyone your lore, how you
00:02:57.720 got into modeling, how it all started. So I actually got scouted when I was 18 and like
00:03:02.960 freshly 18. I thought it was a joke because the person who scouted me, God
00:03:07.060 love her and her sisters and I have made peace to this point, but her sisters did
00:03:10.800 bully me in elementary school. So I thought it was a joke. I was like, oh no, this is
00:03:14.000 just another way to be mean to me. Like I'm sure it's coming later, like post
00:03:17.380 elementary school, like they're ready to re-traumatize me. But it was true. Ford
00:03:21.160 Models was indeed scouting me. So that's kind of how I got it started. And did they
00:03:25.440 just find you online or did you go to like casting calls? No. So basically Lucy, who was
00:03:30.100 the older sister of the people who didn't deeply mean. It's why I'm funny,
00:03:33.160 so it's okay. But she was a model at the time at Ford and also working as a scout
00:03:38.080 for them and saw me on Facebook giving away my age here. Okay, on Facebook. And
00:03:43.700 she was like, have you ever thought about modeling? And I for sure thought it was a
00:03:47.560 joke. I was like, no. Were you just like existing normally? I was just existing
00:03:51.100 normally just posting, like posting, you know, selfies with my friends on a
00:03:54.200 digicam before they became cool again. It was like the original digicam moments. I know.
00:03:58.160 But yeah, she was asking me if I'd ever thought about modeling. I was like,
00:04:01.500 absolutely not. Especially because plus size modeling wasn't really a cool thing
00:04:05.320 then. Especially then, yeah. Yeah, we only had like Lane Bryant and that was it. Like 1.00
00:04:09.260 I think Torrid came later. Like we really just did not have a lot of options. So I was
00:04:12.460 like, okay, sure. And even then, Lane Bryant at the time was very older woman. It was
00:04:17.260 giving like gray moo moo Friday, Saturday, Sunday, every day. It was very wine o'clock. Oh 0.66
00:04:22.160 yeah, it was very, very live, laugh, love, very horrific times. So me as an 18 year
00:04:27.220 old in like plus size clothes like that definitely wasn't slaying the boots house down for the
00:04:30.980 people. But I was excited nonetheless. So I started off in New York and then I moved
00:04:35.360 to LA, signed with Wilhelmina. And then I kind of, yes. And then I signed with LA models
00:04:40.160 later on as their first ever plus size model on their main board, which is really exciting.
00:04:44.880 Yeah. And that's kind of how I got started. And then I started talking about my trauma
00:04:47.680 online and now here we are. No worries. And the rest is rock and roll history. Yeah. Talking
00:04:51.560 about my eating disorder, talking about, you know, kind of my experience as a plus size
00:04:54.680 person in the fashion industry, my experience with modeling and people just flocked to me
00:04:59.020 from there, you know, no worries. And then I talked about beauty and kind of all the things
00:05:03.080 that I learned on set from such amazing artists. And so now I share all that knowledge. Yeah.
00:05:07.500 Cause Dana is literally like an encyclopedia, like a skincare hair. I feel like I'm, yes.
00:05:13.660 Like the chemist women in STEM between you and I, between Adam and I, like we know the beauty
00:05:17.920 thing. Hey, this girl on tech talk told me to put glycolic acid on my face five days a week. 1.00
00:05:22.420 My skin kind of hurts. It's like my biggest interest is beauty science. So yeah, it's a
00:05:29.940 treat. How did you kind of move from more so the modeling into more like beauty related
00:05:35.420 stuff, like kind of like looking into what's good for your skin, what's not like what kind
00:05:39.660 of drew you to that part? It was my struggle with cystic acne. I've always had skin issues
00:05:43.400 my entire life. And so I started to kind of delve deep into what medical databases I could
00:05:48.540 look into and find actual data on, you know, clinicals, peer reviewed studies on what works,
00:05:53.120 what doesn't, and kind of going from there. Cause I felt like I was getting a lot of personal
00:05:57.000 anecdotal experience. Like this works for me. Like, you know, the mommy blogs, especially
00:06:00.680 when influencing became a thing. Yeah. Everything was like, everything was like, this is the
00:06:05.120 best. This cleared my skin. Like a throwback from my OG YouTube girlies was like Michael Todd.
00:06:10.020 I don't know if you remember Michael Todd. It was like the, this was like the original snail
00:06:13.500 cream that they had and everybody used Michael Todd and the spin brushes. Do you guys remember
00:06:17.660 the trauma from the spin brushes? The spin brush, my sister and I were just joking about
00:06:21.180 the vanity planet spin brush. RIP to my skin barrier. Like we, it's like a hack saw. It's
00:06:26.640 like, like it's been so fast and you're like gripping it with gold hands. Oh yes. Scary
00:06:32.340 times. And I feel like everybody had one, loved one, was promoting one, but yeah, that's kind
00:06:36.820 of how I got into it was just like my own personal needs. And then I became, you know, the ultimate
00:06:40.880 consultant for every single one of my friends. What I do. Okay. You're at Ulta. Call me.
00:06:44.700 Okay. You need to know what to get for your hair. Call me. Yeah. But yeah, that was kind
00:06:48.660 of how I got started. And through, I think I had my first ever beauty partnership in 2016
00:06:54.960 with someone who I'm like still friends with. Love. But yeah, it's, it's been a really fun
00:06:59.480 journey. I love to be here. That's crazy. I remember you even before I had a platform more
00:07:04.160 specifically for the beauty stuff, but obviously modeling too. Yeah. Because you were all over 0.50
00:07:08.400 Tumblr and Pinterest girl. Yeah. What was that like? My first following was on Tumblr.
00:07:12.960 Really? Yeah. Like, yes, I'm in therapy. Thank you so much. But yeah, so my first ever following
00:07:17.880 was Tumblr and. It was a lawless time. Oh, it was a lawless time. Girl, they were wilding
00:07:23.220 over there. Pain and suffering. But it was honestly fun. It was like the wild, wild west before
00:07:27.020 the internet was really like. Totally. We didn't have any community guidelines, babes. Yeah.
00:07:30.560 Like none at all. None at all. People just did whatever. Truly. But that was kind of my first
00:07:35.340 ever platform. And people still remember me from that, which is hysterical. That's how I remember
00:07:39.040 you. That's how I first, that's how I first started seeing you. Oh man, I love you. Yeah. No,
00:07:42.540 that was a really, really good time. But I was just posting like modeling photos and random like
00:07:47.040 moody selfies, you know, it was a vibe at the time on Tumblr. Yeah. Um, but it was seriously so fun
00:07:51.920 in the beginning when we didn't have any, you know, reins to hold us back. But, but then I moved over
00:07:57.580 to Instagram that became my next platform and then TikTok. Yeah. And yeah, that was kind of the beginning
00:08:02.960 of the lore. Still keeping it going. We're still here. Yes. I'm so curious, especially
00:08:07.400 on the modeling side of things, because obviously you did modeling for a while before you started
00:08:11.160 doing social. Yeah. Um, I'm curious like how that journey was as like a plus size model, 1.00
00:08:15.160 especially like a lot of brands and or like agencies first plus size model that they like
00:08:19.940 feature. Oh yeah. I'm curious how that was for you. What was that experience like?
00:08:24.080 Very interesting. Since we didn't have, we, it was kind of like the early days of social media.
00:08:28.280 And when I first started modeling, we didn't have social media at all. Um, and so we
00:08:32.680 did you start like print or did you do more? Yes. It was print and commercial. I was like
00:08:36.960 the lifestyle girly. So it's like, you saw me in a lot of like lingerie swimsuits, like
00:08:40.280 happy girl on the beach. You know, that was me like excited to be here. That's your look
00:08:44.520 as like a beach girl. Very like just happy. I wasn't the editorial girl. I wanted to be
00:08:48.500 so bad though. I wanted to like really, you know, serve kind like Tara Banks on the America's 0.95
00:08:52.600 Exxon model, but it just wasn't handed to me that way. So I did a lot of like target American
00:08:56.280 Eagle. That was like my kind of niche and vibe. Yeah. Um, but honestly, I
00:09:02.660 kind of grew up in the industry, so obviously very traumatizing, but obviously, you know,
00:09:07.740 ended up honing my humor from that and, and able to kind of impart my experience onto other
00:09:11.960 people and warn other people and, and share my experience that way to protect other people.
00:09:16.100 You know, I experienced a lot of misogyny of course, um, because most of the higher ups
00:09:21.320 in fashion are men and they need women and they strange, frightening. There's no women in 1.00
00:09:26.480 charge, but there's, they need a lot of them. Exactly. And it definitely felt very predatory
00:09:32.760 in a lot of ways, but I also had great experiences with clients who I absolutely adored and are still
00:09:37.120 like family to me, but you experience so much misogyny and lack of safety and like lack of care
00:09:43.480 for your safety. Yeah. Um, and so that's obviously very scary. So people who I, you know, are talking
00:09:49.540 to me about how they want to become a model or they want their kid to become a model. I generally run
00:09:53.120 through all of the concerns and things that I've been through, but, but it was definitely
00:09:57.020 again, very character building. I say that about a lot of things in my life. Very, my character's
00:10:01.160 fully filled now. So leave me alone. Okay. Like stay out of my way. Especially as, as a bigger
00:10:06.100 girl, thicker girl, like just being perceived in general is a different life experience in
00:10:11.240 and of itself. Yeah. I can only imagine growing up and also being photographed and being like
00:10:15.580 blown up into big pictures and put everywhere. Oh, no question. The, the least, well, not the least
00:10:20.440 favorite part. Like how much time do I have? But honestly was seeing how Photoshopped the
00:10:24.920 campaign photos will come out. And I'd be like, who is, is that me? Like, is that, is that
00:10:29.040 me? Did you not see them until after they went? Yeah. So generally like you'll get shot and
00:10:33.000 then in a good way with a camera and then you, and then you'll see them just come out.
00:10:37.060 Yeah. Like that's the other thing is that unless now with social media, like if you're a model
00:10:40.700 with a platform, generally you'll get the images before they come out. Yeah. It used to be
00:10:44.440 that you would just see them when they came out and hope for the best. Hope you didn't look
00:10:48.400 absolutely heinous. Yeah. Um, because also at that time I feel like a lot, I occasionally
00:10:53.000 get a hair and makeup artist that just made me look absolutely unbridled. It was, it was
00:10:56.920 giving clownery. It was giving foundation doesn't match the body. It was very concerning
00:11:00.700 times. Um, but that was also the hardest part is seeing a person who is you, but doesn't
00:11:07.040 even come close to looking like you. So that was definitely like a very hard thing as someone
00:11:10.340 who deals with body dysmorphia and body image issues. And you're like, you hired me because
00:11:15.520 of the way I look. Because of me. Yeah. And then now you're changing the way I look.
00:11:19.320 So I don't look anything like myself. Exactly. I don't understand it. Perhaps consider someone
00:11:22.680 else. You know, I don't know. Like a different bitch. There are options. There's boards of 1.00
00:11:26.020 models everywhere. So that was definitely one of the harder parts, but it was also so fun
00:11:30.220 to be able to, you know, see your images out and about. The whole thing would be like,
00:11:33.360 go to the mall and see yourself in the store and take your photo next to it and be really excited
00:11:38.140 about it. So that was like, there was definitely a lot of incredible parts, but a lot of,
00:11:42.220 a lot of misogyny, just a lot of lacking safety and care because you're really just a close
00:11:46.560 hanger to a lot of these clients. Like they don't really care about you genuinely as a
00:11:50.020 person. Again, things are different now, but you are just another model that comes in and
00:11:54.660 does their job and gets the fuck out. Well, I feel like it's only different now because 0.96
00:11:58.220 of people like you being more open about your experience. Like now that there's more eyes
00:12:02.960 on it, they're like, okay, I guess we can't be fucking awful. Yeah. Like they're being watched 0.98
00:12:07.320 now. Exactly. So they're kind of like, ah, fuck. I always say like, exactly. Since we
00:12:12.100 have social media now, we have a voice and we have the ability to speak out. And so I
00:12:15.540 think people act a lot differently in that world knowing that we're a TikTok story time
00:12:20.820 away for your career ending. Okay. Um, so I think that really helps people feel more safe
00:12:25.860 and secure knowing that they can speak out if they need to. Absolutely. We definitely didn't
00:12:29.500 have that for a long time, but you know, it's also really hard to have a backbone and that's
00:12:33.400 something that I've been very proud of that I've kept throughout my career and, you know,
00:12:37.240 moments where we didn't have enough POC, you know, onset, we didn't have, whether it's behind
00:12:41.520 the scenes or in front of the camera, you know, being concerned about representation, you know,
00:12:46.160 the body stuff is crazy because I also used to wear padding because we, yeah, basically if
00:12:50.860 you weren't big enough, they would have you wear essentially like football padding. So I used
00:12:55.260 to have these like chicken cutlets with nipples. Can I say nipples? Yeah, absolutely. So we had,
00:13:00.300 basically we had these like boob inserts with nipples because like my boobs wouldn't be too 1.00
00:13:04.520 big. My hips wouldn't be wide enough. They would constantly like mess with my size. It 0.96
00:13:09.660 was, it was a mindful drag. Oh no, exactly. I was like, yes, exactly. I literally had to
00:13:15.440 get them from a drag store. Like it was like literally an online drag store. They were so
00:13:19.840 kind of a chest plate on. Yeah. Like literally it was a whole situation. So there's so many
00:13:25.040 logistics that go into it that people don't know. It is a wild industry. And then of course
00:13:29.220 they throw you in a moo moo and I'm like, Oh, feeling hot. You're like, I'm sexy. You're 0.99
00:13:33.240 like, yeah, I needed fake tits for this. Exactly. I'm like, okay, no worries. Like 1.00
00:13:37.020 that, that makes a lot of sense, but you know, it was still really fun. I'm very grateful
00:13:40.640 for the experience. And again, like I love seeing the industry open up to so many new
00:13:45.220 body types, so many people, because I feel like it's so much easier to become a model now,
00:13:49.680 which I'm so grateful for because the standards were so rigid when I got started and I'm really
00:13:55.200 grateful that I could be a part of that expansion and a part of that inclusivity. Like so grateful
00:13:59.380 because that's really why I stayed in the industry for so long. Um, you know, obviously personal
00:14:03.940 benefit, you want to work and, you know, be successful, but it was also like, I want my
00:14:07.740 legacy to be that I helped open the door for other people and help bring other people to
00:14:12.180 the table. So, you know, it's, it's been a good career. It's like good. It's like good
00:14:16.580 steps in the right direction. Exactly. Right. Exactly. So even if I didn't get to experience
00:14:21.200 the industry in a, in a perfect manner, at least I was able to benefit it and somehow
00:14:24.660 for other people. Totally. And the, the comment you made too about the makeup artists is so
00:14:29.360 real, like, because especially ones that not just have to work with different, like know
00:14:34.220 how to work with different skin tones, but also different face shapes. Like I've worked
00:14:39.700 with some makeup artists before Adam, obviously, um, that were like, I don't know if they just
00:14:44.840 were used to doing a certain type of face, but even like I've worked with some that were
00:14:48.520 also minority people, but like my makeup looks not very good. And it's because I have a very,
00:14:54.860 yeah, I have a very like round face and very like round cheeks. And so if you only know
00:14:59.980 how to do one shape of face, like a very Eurocentric face, then you don't know how to do makeup
00:15:04.000 on every face. So I would hate how I looked. And so I, that's why Adam was like, I was immediately
00:15:10.160 like, yeah, no, I need you like all the time. Yeah. No, no, I need you all the time. You got
00:15:13.860 to lock them in and like hold them hostage. Like you're not going anywhere, baby. Sorry. I need you
00:15:17.680 all the time. Sorry. Yeah. No, it's so real though. I have had so much bad makeup in my
00:15:22.340 day for big clients to horrifying people. Some are beauty brands. Some can you fucking 0.97
00:15:27.900 believe some of them are, they do makeup for a living girl. So spooky. It is so frightening. 0.99
00:15:32.440 I'm like, what's going on here? Like I'm very concerned, having worries, but I've had so
00:15:38.040 much bad makeup. It's generally like foundation matching. Also the lack of knowledge on how to
00:15:41.700 do different face shapes. I too am a round face queen. Okay. We got a rise. We, we love
00:15:45.960 it. I love my round face, but if you put the wrong makeup on me, I look fucking nuts. 0.99
00:15:50.140 Yeah. I look insane. I have cried in a lot of bathrooms. Like I have shed a tear. I would 0.99
00:15:54.820 also bring my own makeup, which is like against the rules. You shouldn't do that. But sometimes
00:15:58.580 it was very necessary. Okay. We were in a dire situation. I've done it where I've like wiped
00:16:02.520 off half of it and redid it myself because I just couldn't stand what it looks like.
00:16:06.740 I just can't, I can't do it. I can't do it. And the best thing is, is when they ask you
00:16:10.000 for notes on how you like to do your makeup and then completely ignore. Why did you ask
00:16:13.920 me? No. It's like they're just making conversation. Like they don't give a fuck. They're just
00:16:17.420 like, Oh my God. Like what do you usually love? Okay, cool. Gonna ignore all of that. Thank
00:16:21.020 you for letting me know. Like no worries. And for a long time, I also again had cystic
00:16:25.320 acne. And so people would always make comments about my skin. It was like the most negative
00:16:30.240 comments about my skin. I'd get like reported to my agency for my skin looking bad. And
00:16:35.000 I'm like from brands or clients. So not even the clients or just comments. Oh, what?
00:16:39.000 Yeah. So the makeup artist would reach out to my agent and let them know that my skin 0.71
00:16:42.000 was bad. I'm like, girl, you think I don't know? I look at my face in the mirror every
00:16:44.220 day. Thank you so much for reminding me. Just like, just want to let you know. It was always
00:16:47.620 a problem. Like if your skin was struggling, like it would kind of result in you not being
00:16:51.760 booked as much. That's insane. Oh no, it's, it's crazy. I don't know why it's shocking to
00:16:56.040 me. Of course they care about that, but like, it's still shocking to hear. And it's also
00:16:59.540 hard like, cause I was like an e-com queen. So I was constantly doing again, like the 30
00:17:04.100 outfits a day, like weekly, whatever. So it's like my skin wasn't very happy with being makeup
00:17:08.580 put on and off of it that much anyway. Yeah. So it wasn't helping your, your skin literally at
00:17:13.260 all. Oh no, it was traumatizing times. I've seen a couple of Tik TOK videos of girls doing like 0.87
00:17:17.440 the e-com and they're like, Oh yeah, I'm here for like eight hours. And they try on like 30,
00:17:21.160 40 outfits and just keep shooting all day. It's why I now have a bunion.
00:17:26.420 Bunions are us sponsored by my bunion. Is that from the shoes? It's from the shoes. Cause
00:17:30.320 they would put us in shoes that were way too small and we'd be in them all day. That's great.
00:17:34.420 I have a photo girl. The fuck if I know, I really, I know they literally like today 0.99
00:17:39.160 we're going to torture Dana. Just like put her in the smallest shoes possible. I also 1.00
00:17:42.240 have wide flipper feet. So that definitely doesn't help. Like I was gifted with the sexiest
00:17:46.040 feet. Okay. Feet finder, call me. Um, but it was just a wild time. Like I have a photo
00:17:51.040 of my feet being so swollen after a day on set, but again, immensely privileged job. Like
00:17:55.680 I'm not out here, you know, doing manual labor, but it has its own way of being hard. You
00:17:59.360 know what? As someone who's done like professional shoots, like maybe three or four times in
00:18:03.280 this job, that shit is hard. It is because like also on top of it, I can't even imagine 0.99
00:18:07.880 cause you're doing commercial shooting yet. So they need a different like vibe for each
00:18:11.780 one that you're like moving and jumping and doing the same movements 20 times over and
00:18:17.560 over and over again. Yeah. It's gotta be like, I need better energy. I need, I need smiles.
00:18:22.100 I need your eyes wide, touch your neck, but not too much. Like it's exhausting. Sir, all
00:18:25.980 I've had is some gummy bears and a diet Coke today. Girl, can I get some water? No, no. Keep
00:18:31.320 working. But I remember there was one time on set where the photographer, a very well
00:18:35.180 renowned guy, he told me that I needed to have conversational hands. Let me know how
00:18:39.820 you would translate. Okay. Whatever that means. Like, okay. Like I already talked with
00:18:45.600 my hands, but I, I remember I went to the bathroom and I was like, conversational hands,
00:18:49.420 conversational hands. I'm like looking in the mirror. I'm like conversational hands. Like
00:18:52.040 I was so stressed. It was old Navy girl. It was old. Love you. Old Navy. Longtime client of
00:18:59.080 mine. But like, you know what? When I go into old Navy, I'm like, that girl has
00:19:02.200 conversation. That girl has really hot conversational hands. Watch out. Put two of those jeans for 1.00
00:19:07.280 $35 in my car. Period. Exactly. Exactly. I was like, you know, she has great conversational
00:19:12.380 hands. Those leggings look really soft. I'll take 10. Exactly. So that was definitely a wild
00:19:17.820 time. But I've also, the other fun part about modeling is the castings. Have you ever gone
00:19:22.100 on a casting in your life? Cause you're a star. Probably not. Not a modeling. People are like
00:19:25.840 direct book, please. Thank you so much. But, um, so I used to do castings a lot before I
00:19:30.660 had my platform. Now I'm a direct book early only call my agent. Okay. But I remember going
00:19:35.700 to a casting. Number one, they love to make us dance. Target and old Navy always made us 0.87
00:19:39.020 dance. They'd be like, give us like, you're dancing with your friends. I was like, I'm going
00:19:42.580 to KMS. Like I'm done. Like I'm literally done. So you give like your best like white woman 1.00
00:19:48.520 dance. You're like, Oh my God. Like love these. They want to see you like celebrating. Yes. Oh,
00:19:53.280 that means you would have like three seconds to prepare the secondhand embarrassment that
00:19:56.760 I had. It was firsthand embarrassment. Dance harder. And you're sitting in front of a group
00:20:02.480 of people. Okay. And they're all, they're like barely looking up from their phones and
00:20:06.480 you're like doing your dance and they're like taking notes and they'll maybe glance up
00:20:09.140 at you. And then they're like, thank you so much. And you like leave and want to die.
00:20:12.300 Okay. Is that how they close it out or is that how they started? No, that's like literally
00:20:15.780 how that you walk in. No one says anything to you. They're like, hi. And then they just
00:20:19.000 like look down at their phones. They're not even paying attention to you. You're doing your best
00:20:21.340 white woman dance. You're like, yes, you're selling it. You're like, they don't even give 1.00
00:20:24.600 you music sometimes. I swear to God. It's like a humiliation. The way I'd walk right back
00:20:30.260 out. Oh no. Hey, modeling's not for me. Just decided. The best part is like your agents
00:20:33.820 will get mad at you if you didn't stay. So I was like, okay. And as someone with social
00:20:37.480 anxiety, I'm like, this is it. This is, I'm like dripping in sweat. That's the worst thing
00:20:41.480 I've ever heard. So funny, dude. Oh no. It's, it's insane. The things that I did for
00:20:46.600 that job. Like truly you had no choice what to get over your anxiety. Yes. Old Navy always
00:20:51.760 made us dance. Target would too. There was one time where they told me that I needed to
00:20:55.680 pretend that I was driving to Joshua tree with my friends and that we were in the car and
00:20:59.620 then I would have to get out of the car. I know. I need a place. I need a place. No, literally
00:21:03.860 it wasn't. I was like, okay, okay, okay. So I had to pretend to be in a car. I had to like
00:21:09.300 get out of said car and we, they literally just gave us a chair in the middle of the room. 0.99
00:21:14.160 They wanted you to like mime. Yes. They wanted to, we're driving. Okay. They're like,
00:21:17.560 you're talking to your friends and then you get out and you just start dancing with your
00:21:19.700 friends. No music, no car visual, just a chair. Are you in there alone or are there other girls 0.97
00:21:25.240 too? Thankfully it was just me. And then again, a table of mean people who are staring you down
00:21:29.600 angrily and barely paying attention. Cause the best part is they barely look up from their
00:21:33.720 phones. They're like dance. Not like that. Don't dance like that. Dance better.
00:21:38.900 Give us your best like white woman. No, it's, it was wild. So definitely those times 1.00
00:21:43.800 were tough. Those were hard. And I had to really like get out of my shell for a couple
00:21:47.700 of those things, but you know, it was fun. I have great stories. The most extroverted
00:21:51.660 person alive. Yeah. If they went in for modeling, I would not be expecting to, hey, dance. Yeah.
00:21:58.020 Fucking dance. Yeah. Literally. That's how it feels. Start shooting at your feet. Dance. 1.00
00:22:01.500 I'm a dance bitch. Fucking monkey. Dance. Yes. That's how it feels. They're screaming. 1.00
00:22:05.380 The whole industry kind of feels that way. And then you just like leave the room and you
00:22:09.280 see the whole room of people outside and you just nod your head and you leave and hope
00:22:12.860 for the best. You leave and you get a call and you're all, you didn't book it. Yeah.
00:22:15.700 I didn't book it. Shocker. Shocker. Thank you so much. I was just going to say, what's
00:22:19.540 the like weirdest thing you've had to do? The dancing's pretty fucking weird. The dancing 0.94
00:22:24.080 would be like probably like top 10 weirdest. Yeah. Um, there was one for target where I
00:22:28.360 had to do a bunch of really complicated yoga moves, but thankfully I was really into yoga
00:22:32.300 at the time. So I like slayed it slayed. So yoga. What if it was for business?
00:22:37.960 Girl, can you imagine? They just wanted to see if you could do it? No, exactly. I would
00:22:40.760 have been humiliated, but I'm like, okay, I slayed though. Like I ate it up. Like
00:22:43.720 whatever. Booked it. Exactly. But I did book that one, but I'd say like stuff, the dancing
00:22:48.320 is always the worst. And then they're, and then the best part too, is they'll bring like
00:22:52.420 in a dance instructor and they're like, all right, stand here. And then one, two, three.
00:22:56.440 And then they try to teach us the dance before we go in. It's five minutes. Yeah. I
00:22:59.900 said, girl, I have ADHD. Whatever you told me is gone. It's gone. By the time I turn away
00:23:03.940 from you, wiped. Yeah. No, it's immediately gone. Don't remember.
00:23:07.600 Thank you so much though, for that demo. I'm just freestyling. Yeah. It truly is. Like
00:23:11.860 I'm in the middle of the dance circle and it's me, it's me. And then a bunch of casting
00:23:14.980 directors. You're just dugging hard as hell. Oh no. Like really? That's not the dance
00:23:18.500 they taught you? Crank that soldier boy today. I will be performing. Crank that soldier boy.
00:23:22.860 Thank you so much for coming. All right. And scene. Thank you so much. You start yiking.
00:23:26.040 Yeah, exactly. Hard as fuck. That's really how it feels. That's crazy. But past that, it's 1.00
00:23:31.120 really fun. I remember one of my best memories was for American Eagle. They closed down the entire
00:23:34.900 Santa Monica Pier for us. Damn. That was very fun. So we got to ride all the rides for the 1.00
00:23:39.080 shoot, but also for fun. Cute. There was no one there. So it was enjoyable. That's cute.
00:23:42.400 Just to offset the dancing. The dancing. You know, just to offset that. Really high highs and really
00:23:46.520 low lows. Really low lows. Yes. So here I am. I remember the one and only time I did like any sort
00:23:53.100 of like modeling shoot or something was when I was a kid. And my mom worked for this transportation
00:24:00.520 company for OCTA, which is like they do all of Orange County's bus systems, right? They were
00:24:06.960 trying to incentivize kids to take the bus during the summer. And they had this whole campaign and
00:24:12.200 they're like, oh, we need kids. And I think they had asked my mom, they were like, oh, I know you
00:24:16.480 have two young girls. Like, can you bring them to the shoot? And maybe like we can use them in the 0.58
00:24:20.820 photo shoot or whatever for the brochure. Yeah. And so I remember we were both supposed to go,
00:24:25.380 but then Dacen got in trouble and then got left at home. And of course I went, um, of course I did.
00:24:31.920 I was like, this is the chance of a lifetime. I have to go. I went and I remember it was me.
00:24:39.800 There was two other, so it was three boys, three girls were all around the same age. I think it
00:24:43.560 was like nine or 10. And, um, other than one of the kids was Asian, one of the boys was Asian. It was,
00:24:49.760 I was the only like person of color. And like I tan very dark. And when I was a kid,
00:24:54.460 I tanned even darker. So like I had really long hair at the time too. And so my mom,
00:24:59.860 I remember my mom got me a new outfit, like a little beach. I like a little board shorts,
00:25:03.160 a little like a matching tank top on top. And when they were taking pictures of us,
00:25:08.140 there was a point in which like the photographer was like always putting me in the shots. Cause
00:25:14.340 we were supposed to like alternate, but he was, he was like, this is the only one that looks like
00:25:17.460 she's been to the beach. And he was literally just referencing the fact that I was Brown.
00:25:20.600 Like, I don't know if he thought I was a white girl that just tanned a lot,
00:25:23.620 but deeply concerning. Yeah. It was like, he goes, well, this one only looks like she's
00:25:27.560 actually been to the beach and I'm on melanin. Okay. And so he started putting me in all of these,
00:25:34.000 uh, different like groupings, like with the, with the boys, with two of the girls and like
00:25:39.700 between surfboards and in a rash guard and like beachy girl. Yeah. I was at Huntington beach,
00:25:43.640 like taking, Oh no, even not Huntington beach. Yeah. They were taking so many pictures of us.
00:25:49.500 And like, I remember the pictures when they went to print, they were like in the buses and also in
00:25:54.520 these little brochures that they gave away in the buses. And when I looked, I was in so many of the
00:25:59.200 pictures that they photoshopped a lot of the pictures of me and made them white girls, like 1.00
00:26:05.240 to look like the two girls that were fucking there. I'm not kidding. There was only one group shot where 1.00
00:26:10.820 all three of us were in it along with the three boys, but every other picture of an individual girl
00:26:16.160 was literally me. And they just changed the hair color and the skin tone. True. And I was like,
00:26:20.860 that does, who the hell is that? When I looked at the brochure, that is horrifying. I know we're 0.63
00:26:26.020 like hee heeing, but truly inside, I'm like, this is unacceptable. Truly. And I remember there was
00:26:30.600 one of the white girls that was there. She had, um, a pretty, this is not me being mean, like a 1.00
00:26:35.020 prominent unibrow. Like she actually had a unibrow. Yeah. Period. Looked great. Love it. She had a great
00:26:39.600 arch though. Like her eyebrows were great. The girls with the unibrow is a former girl with unibrow
00:26:43.020 here. Yeah. Same. Fucking same. And then I distinctly remember in the shoot, he was like,
00:26:49.440 the photographer was commenting on it and being mean about it. That's why I was, when you said
00:26:53.160 the thing about skin, I'm like, they are so blunt and rude. It's not even fucking, they don't care 1.00
00:26:58.260 if you can hear it. No, they don't care at all. They don't give a fuck. And we're kids, mind you, 0.99
00:27:02.060 like we're children literally. And you were technically a child. Yeah. Technically a child. It's crazy.
00:27:06.600 The comments that they make to you and they think they honestly don't care if it stays with you
00:27:10.380 forever. Nope. Not at all. They don't give a flying fuck, but it is insane to me, especially
00:27:14.640 because I, when I was at LA models, we had like the kids department right around the corner from 0.99
00:27:18.900 like our plus size office. Yeah. And thinking about saying that to like a little kid like that in
00:27:24.140 saying, I couldn't even imagine. Yeah. And he was like, and we had no, there was no makeup artist
00:27:27.960 or anything like that. Cause it wasn't like a high. Yeah, no. And so in all the pictures,
00:27:32.220 they just photoshopped her eyebrows, but they changed all of them. Like it, she looked like a 0.80
00:27:37.120 different person. One eye open. Yeah. Cause they literally just photoshopped her whole entire
00:27:40.600 forehead. Like, I don't know how they did that, but I was like, this is the craziest thing I've
00:27:45.020 ever seen. They spent all the budget on post-production. Just on editing. No, just on
00:27:50.380 editing. Oh, Drew. That is horrific. And I made $50 that day. Period queen. Shot for like eight hours.
00:27:55.560 The rate's gone up a little bit since then. Yeah, I was going to say, I've shot for like eight hours,
00:27:58.980 but $50. Also child labor. Truly. Concerning times. And also my mom was the only mom there.
00:28:05.280 Like everyone else, no one else's parents were there. Like it's like, they just dropped them
00:28:08.920 off. So my mom was the only one there. And so my mom was like, Hey, I think she needs to take a
00:28:13.240 break so I can like get her some food and stuff. And they were like, Oh. Like have a beverage perhaps.
00:28:17.000 Yeah. Yeah. My mom was like, you guys okay? Do you need water or anything to the other kids?
00:28:22.120 An angel. They were like, Oh, you could just leave her. And she's like, I'm not leaving. Can you
00:28:25.300 imagine? Period. I know. I'm like nine years old. Like be well, enjoy being kidnapped. Yeah. And there was no women 1.00
00:28:31.140 on, on the set, on the crew either. So it was just all older men. And then just my mom.
00:28:35.280 That's always the worst part is that a lot of these sets are just older men. Like you'll walk 0.92
00:28:39.720 in thinking that you have like, you know, at least a female makeup artist or like, you know,
00:28:43.920 a stylist or literally like a coordinator. Anyone who's a woman. Zero zilch. And you're like, Oh my 1.00
00:28:49.520 God, sounds good. Can't wait to get into some, you know, assless underwear. Yeah. Like no worries. 0.99
00:28:55.960 Feeling very comfy, very safe, but it's always just an unhinged time. And they always say the most
00:29:01.240 ridiculous things to you. And they're like, Oh, well that's just the biz. Yeah. Nature of the 0.98
00:29:05.020 biz. Exactly. They're like, Oh, it's fine. A lot of the industry is like, Oh, it's fine. Like
00:29:09.460 they've gotten away with so much because people would be like, it's fine. Yeah. Like we've just
00:29:12.920 been like being okay with it for however long. Exactly. So we're not, we're not going to change
00:29:16.940 it. I'm curious when you started building the platform, like how did the, when did you start
00:29:22.920 noticing hate start coming in about like, about you being a model or any of your lifestyle content?
00:29:29.200 Oh my gosh. Pretty early on, I'd say probably when I hit like 10, 20 K, it started to kind of flood
00:29:35.640 in. Yeah. Um, obviously mostly men and it was just wild. And I've talked about this before where it's 0.85
00:29:43.520 like as a plus size person, which I'm even on like the privilege scale, like I'm like a smaller plus
00:29:47.540 size body, but you are either viewed like in a fetishization way or you're viewed as like a
00:29:53.840 non-human. So it's like people won't even open the door for you. Like people won't even be considerate
00:29:57.880 towards your feelings. Like, so it's either or. And so that is like a really horrific thing to see,
00:30:04.460 especially online. People will treat you like you are not a human being. So, and obviously you and I
00:30:09.600 both know this very well, but during that period, I'd probably say like really early on, it was my first
00:30:14.200 ever experienced with hate too, but I kind of loved it. I kind of ate it up at the time. It
00:30:18.260 got a little overwhelming. Yeah. But at the beginning I was like, Oh, this means I'm catching
00:30:21.840 traction. Yeah. Like as you started getting bigger, then you started being like, Oh, I was like, this
00:30:27.440 is exhausting. Yeah. It got to the point where I was like having my life threatened, you know,
00:30:31.800 people who in there. Yeah. Like people, people threatening your life, people threatening my parents
00:30:35.540 life, my mom's life, like just cause I wouldn't answer their DM or, you know, again, cause I was
00:30:40.580 plus size and like dared to be alive. So no worries. Part is just, I'll never understand.
00:30:45.600 It's fucking nuts. I'll never understand. My biggest thing is like, I'll never understand 0.99
00:30:48.600 being a fan boy enough to like be so obsessed with a woman who doesn't care if you live or
00:30:53.280 die. Sorry. Not attitudes only ever directed towards big women, like whether you're fat plus 1.00
00:30:57.920 size or anything in between, anything other than skinny, like that, that hate is only directed 0.97
00:31:03.520 at fat women. Like what about fat men? Like, I know, like they're like, oh, they're awesome. 0.98
00:31:08.700 But with women, they're like, how dare you? Exactly. How dare you post pictures of yourself 1.00
00:31:13.960 in a bikini? Yeah. It's wrong with you. It's crazy. And I mean, obviously it's like social
00:31:17.760 conditioning, patriarchy. There's so many different layers to it, but it's wild, wild to be a
00:31:23.500 woman on the internet. I think that's why too, I, as a single woman, I am very cautious
00:31:27.580 about men cause I just know too much. You know, the guy who's making a hate comment in my, you
00:31:32.060 know, beauty video is in my DMS, like trying to fucking, you know, hit and he has a wife and 0.99
00:31:37.360 kids and being a weirdo. Yeah. Being a disgusting, disturbing weirdo. Yeah. Um, I've had that 1.00
00:31:41.740 too. I'm sure everybody in this room, I know we've all experienced it. Yeah. They're a bunch
00:31:45.420 of creepy weirdos. Oh yeah. It's insane. That's why I, I've always found that like dynamic, 0.97
00:31:50.760 very interesting how they, I've said this before too. Um, especially with dating, like when
00:31:55.620 I was single, um, there are certain men that I'm like, that's a man that would never want
00:32:00.500 to be seen with me in public, but like would like really want to be with me behind closed
00:32:04.800 doors. Like, like, especially for a thicker girl, a taller girl, cause you're tall too 0.99
00:32:09.000 for, especially most women are like average five, five. Yes. But like, I'm on the taller 1.00
00:32:13.500 side too. Yeah, absolutely. So it's, it's just crazy. The whole, like, you know, being
00:32:18.300 with you in private and not wanting to in public is also insane because it's really, you know,
00:32:23.140 them kind of bowing down to patriarchy and misogyny and all these, you know, different layers
00:32:28.340 of societal issues and, and, but yeah, whenever people act like I can't get a date, I'm like,
00:32:34.080 you should see my DMS. Have a good one. Believe you me. Every, I know. I'm like every favorite
00:32:38.960 person you've ever loved. It's not a lack of quantity. It's a lack of quality. I'll tell
00:32:42.560 you that. Exactly. So, you know, your faves are in my DMS, but that's why I truly don't
00:32:47.720 give a fuck. Yeah. Same. Truly. You have to not give a fuck, honestly. No. To exist in 0.99
00:32:52.480 this body at all, but especially as someone with a platform or someone who's building.
00:32:56.240 Yes. Like there's just absolutely no way you can care. I always tell people like I take
00:33:01.200 everything is neutral, positive and negative because none of it can really affect like
00:33:05.440 who I am as a person and how I feel about myself. So I try to let, you know, bad comments
00:33:10.140 roll off my back. Good comments are great, but they're still neutral. But the men really
00:33:14.640 try to get at you. I've had guys make negative comments. I'll block them. They'll make a fake
00:33:18.340 profile. They'll make another fake profile. They'll make another one. It's crazy. The dedication
00:33:22.240 is nuts. Imagine, you know, doing that for like a career or something. Maybe bring that energy
00:33:25.680 to a job application. Perhaps a job. I don't know. Crazy. Apply it to you. Literally anything
00:33:31.000 else. Healing. Literally anything. Anything else. But that's a perfect transition into our
00:33:36.560 topic, which is insecure men online who feel entitled to critique the appearance of female
00:33:40.500 models, which has been very prevalent in the last couple of years, especially. Oh yeah.
00:33:44.800 But I love when they just, they like discover like models from like who have been around for
00:33:51.260 10 plus years. Like you said, 15 years now. And they're like, has anyone noticed that this
00:33:56.580 woman is nothing? Yeah. And they're like, have you seen perhaps? Yeah. Yeah. No, it's crazy. We all 0.99
00:34:02.600 saw it. So. And also people who question my credentials or other models credentials. They're
00:34:07.900 like, there's no way this person is a model. And it's also because, you know, beauty standards 0.99
00:34:11.880 have changed so much and elevated so much. Totally. But it is, it's like a man from his mom's
00:34:17.360 basement. Okay. Yeah. Playing Skyrim or whatever the fuck y'all play. Okay. Having some crusty
00:34:23.580 dusty mac and cheese on your mom's couch, hoping maybe you'll get a career someday. Yeah. And
00:34:28.160 then meanwhile, you're commenting about how I'm mid. Yeah. Get a fucking grip. Men like
00:34:33.280 that. I'm always like, and what would you know about modeling? Yeah. Like what would you
00:34:36.300 know about curiosity? Like what are your credit? Like, what do you, what do you know? Like
00:34:38.960 if I was going to seek counsel on like modeling and like who, who's, who's the guy to pick?
00:34:44.660 Like, why would I ask you? It would not be Jonathan on his mom's basement couch. Bitch, 0.90
00:34:47.840 I ain't asking you. No, no way. But they, they always love to yap. You know what? It 1.00
00:34:51.860 makes them feel better. They hate themselves so deeply that they're going to pick someone
00:34:55.880 who they view as attractive because deep down that's the fucking T. The line is razor thin. 0.99
00:35:00.360 Oh, razor thin. It's wispy. It's barely there, baby. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But then they like 0.99
00:35:05.280 to try to knock them down a notch. And that happens in dating too, where you'll date someone
00:35:08.640 who's really excited to be with you. And then all of a sudden wants to take you down a
00:35:12.340 couple nights because you're a successful model. Yeah, once they see you, you're a little too
00:35:14.240 confident. Oh, yeah. They're like, oh, she might leave me. So. It's a conquest. I got
00:35:18.280 to get rid of that. Yeah, they're like, we got to knock you down a little bit. I got to try
00:35:20.080 to stomp that light out fast. Yes, exactly. So I feel like they're kind of in the same
00:35:24.740 category. Totally. But it's wild to see people comment about like Margot Robbie or like Giselle
00:35:30.700 Bunchen. Oh, girl, don't even, don't even get me started. I'm like, Giselle Bunchen, the
00:35:33.360 most grossing model of all time. Like, she's okay, babe. She's, yeah, she's good. She's on a yoga retreat 0.58
00:35:38.280 in Costa Rica. Not even thinking about you. I'm like, you don't want to fuck her. I bet 0.99
00:35:42.700 it's killing her inside. There's a line around the world. I bet she wakes up every morning
00:35:47.300 being like, fuck. Concerned about Chadathon Bradathon. Oh, yeah. Very upset. Very concerned. 1.00
00:35:52.160 I'm sure Margot Robbie wakes up. She's like, what do you mean he doesn't want to fuck me? 1.00
00:35:55.680 What do you mean? Girl, go to hell. No question. Occupy by your minds day in and day out. 1.00
00:35:59.720 No worries. Okay. So speaking of that topic, we're going to look into some TikToks. So this
00:36:05.300 one. Amazing. Uh, in this interview at some kind of like, it's just at some kind of youth
00:36:09.840 political convention, not a youth political convention. For real, two young guys in suits
00:36:14.800 tell the interviewer that Margot Robbie is quote mid. One guy says he grew up in Chicago and there
00:36:20.500 are girls who look like Margot Robbie everywhere. Oh, period. And he says, ideally Hollywood should
00:36:26.120 promote beauty standards that go above and beyond normality. And like you ask him who it is and he's
00:36:33.200 like Kylie Jenner. But you know what I'm saying? Like every time you ask a man, you're like, like who
00:36:37.800 they tell you another white woman who like, they're both beautiful. Like, like it's like a stone's
00:36:44.200 throw from Margot Robbie. It's like another beautiful white woman. It's always wild. I also 1.00
00:36:48.420 talk about how they love natural women and only want to date women who've never had worked on.
00:36:52.340 And then their Instagram following will say otherwise. Yeah. And also they can't tell. Oh,
00:36:56.160 no, they can't tell. I love when they're like, I don't like women who wear too much makeup. And 1.00
00:36:59.500 they're like, I need you to, I would like makeup like this. And they show Kim Kardashian. I'm like,
00:37:03.480 you have no idea how much makeup she has. You have no idea how much makeup she has on in that. 1.00
00:37:08.260 It's scary that they have the right to vote. Honestly, I feel like we need to like roll that
00:37:11.280 back. Or even operate a vehicle. I know. I feel like we need to. Y'all need a handler. You need a
00:37:15.980 chaperone at all times. They really, really do. Um, deeply concerning, but that's like my other thing.
00:37:21.520 It's like, why would we take them seriously? They're not there. Like not everybody's thoughts are valid.
00:37:27.060 Yeah, literally. Like that's why, especially the Margot Robbie thing. Cause I've seen
00:37:31.640 that conversation on online about Margot Robbie and Zendaya, which I find abhorrent in many ways.
00:37:37.400 Not about our girls. Zendaya lay the fuck off for real. My Virgo queen. We're, we're not playing 0.99
00:37:42.800 with that. I'm just like, who the fuck are you? But it's, that's what I said. Let me see that face 1.00
00:37:48.720 card. I'm going to tell you the balance is on zero. Oh, it's always on zero. Always. But I think too,
00:37:53.660 it's the continuing to make women out to be just valued by the way that they look. Absolutely. It's
00:37:59.540 like the discussion is always around like, Oh, well I think she's mad. You know, I don't even
00:38:03.060 think she's that hot as if that's all that matters. Yeah. Or if she gives a fuck, that's why I was 1.00
00:38:08.040 like, you're so right. Cause if Margot Robbie came up to you and was like, Hey, you trying to fuck? 1.00
00:38:13.180 You'd be like, no way. Mid-ass bitch. Get out of my face. No way. Nice try. We know that they would 1.00
00:38:19.800 like fuck a stale wonder bread loaf that they found in the Walmart parking lot. Give me a 1.00
00:38:23.940 fucking way. That's why I was like, you're a liar. Yeah. It's funny. Cause we're all just lying. 1.00
00:38:28.160 Aren't we? We're all just sitting around lying to each other. Yeah. And also like even someone,
00:38:34.220 let's just use Margot Robbie as an example. Cause they brought her up. Like someone who's white 1.00
00:38:37.980 sis head conventionally attractive thin. She has all the trappings of what people would believe 1.00
00:38:43.960 is the perfect, like Eurocentric beauty standard. And even that bitch is getting shit. Yeah. So yeah, 1.00
00:38:49.380 of course they're going to say something about anyone who doesn't look like that. They're
00:38:52.600 already like picking, trying to pick her apart as if she's not gorgeous and beautiful and talented.
00:38:57.440 But that's why I'm always like literally never take anything men say seriously ever. Like
00:39:02.240 literally ever. They're fucking just, they're stupid. They'll listen to them. So dumb, dumb. 1.00
00:39:06.500 Yeah. But again, like it all just comes down to misogyny because you can be the most perfect, 1.00
00:39:10.720 like aesthetically, like by science, like Bella Hadid, who's like perfectly symmetrical,
00:39:15.160 like deemed the most beautiful woman in the world. And they are going to still tell you that
00:39:18.360 you're mid and they're like, Hmm, probably like a six. Yeah. You know, probably a five.
00:39:24.560 Oh God. Let us know. Peace. Chad brought in. Yeah. They're like, I I'd hit, but I wouldn't
00:39:29.480 call her back. Exactly. Yeah. You're right. We're home. I couldn't, I wouldn't be able
00:39:33.640 to hit. Yeah. That's why. Yeah. That's why you wouldn't be able to, that's why you wouldn't
00:39:37.940 be able to hook up with Bella Hadid. It's, it's purely just your disdain for her looks.
00:39:42.760 Yeah. Sure. Immense embarrassment whenever men open their mouth in that regard, but you
00:39:46.360 know, me too. Again, rolling back the voting rights is on the way. So stay woke everyone.
00:39:51.560 For real. So the comments on this one, this one says, I like Margo, but I think there are
00:39:57.480 people who look a little better than her. Well, imagine that you have some poignant, like
00:40:01.580 super intellectual comment. They're like, you know what? I feel like there's maybe an upgrade
00:40:06.040 there somewhere. I can't name who. Someone. Someone maybe. I can't think of it, but I'm sure
00:40:10.120 it's there. Yeah. I'm sure it's there and I'd hit her probably, but not this one.
00:40:14.480 Not this one. I don't know. I can't think of her name, but someone out there, maybe there's
00:40:18.760 a possible chance for real. And there's a response on here that says y'all are hating on him
00:40:22.940 to protect your feminist way of thinking, but he has a point. My question is, what's the
00:40:28.620 point? You find her mediocre looking question for all men in the back. Okay. What does feminism 1.00
00:40:33.820 mean? I'll give you five minutes. Okay. Like just like come back to the definition because
00:40:38.180 don't Google it in there. No cheating. No cheating. Okay. You cannot phone a friend on this one.
00:40:43.640 Yeah. But I'm like, what does that have to do with feminism? Like respecting women
00:40:48.460 at baseline. Okay. Cute. Vibes. Like, so sorry. I give you basic human decency. So you're
00:40:54.540 trying to protect your feminism. That goddamn feminism. But even then, if I was there and 1.00
00:40:58.660 I'd be like, well, you're ugly. So like, I mean, are you the guy to ask? Like, is Margot Robbie 0.97
00:41:04.080 like, God, I wonder what he thinks. Oh yeah. She's dreaming of every man who's left a negative
00:41:08.840 comment and what they think of her for sure. Girl. That's another thing I talk about too. I feel
00:41:13.540 like a lot, which is the goalposts are always moving. Yes. Like they're constantly moving and
00:41:17.760 it's, it's truly to just keep you under their fucking thumb. Like it's to convince you that like, 0.99
00:41:23.440 I might change my mind. So don't get too comfortable right there. I might need you. I
00:41:26.580 might need you to do something else so I can, I can give you my validation. Yeah. That's why it's
00:41:31.280 like, nah. Beauty standards are made up. They're, you know, based off of white supremacy, not to get 1.00
00:41:36.420 too far into this. It's true. But it's just all fucking made up bullshit. It is. Opinions I don't
00:41:41.500 give a fuck about. Literally. So like, why would I live my life according to that? Totally. Chad Brad and 0.98
00:41:45.460 that. And I've even told people before, like in my culture, like that's like what we find beautiful
00:41:51.740 is not what Eurocentric beauty standards are. Exactly. In a lot of different cultures, their idea of beauty
00:41:56.620 is completely different. Exactly. So like it truly is subjective. I've always said like beauty is
00:42:01.260 is genuinely subjective. It really truly is. But I will say if you're a guy like that, um, you're
00:42:07.580 ugly. You are. And that's a scientific fact. Automatically. You're fucking ugly. The data 1.00
00:42:11.040 proves, studies show, you're ugly as fuck. Be well. Okay. And I, one time on the show, I think like 1.00
00:42:17.700 a couple years ago, I, I posted a clip and I was saying like, I just think you can't comment on my 0.97
00:42:23.380 looks if you're ugly. Right. And that was like pretty much the entire clip. I'm sure that shook the world. 0.95
00:42:27.900 The amount of men that stitched, first of all, I was dressed like a Christmas tree in it. Like
00:42:31.940 literally my face is in the hole of a Christmas tree when I was saying it. So clearly I'm being
00:42:35.740 a dickhead. Right. Yes. But also I meant what I said. And so many men stitched that video 0.99
00:42:40.760 and they were like, yeah, that's really fucking rich coming from you. Oh my God. And I said, 0.99
00:42:46.220 obsessed with you. And you. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. Example A, B and C. Looks like we're
00:42:51.120 Fuggo twins, bitch. Like you and me are both being big Fuggos on the internet. You and I 1.00
00:42:56.020 were in it together. Thank you so much. Love you bestie. But it's crazy to me because they don't
00:43:01.340 even realize like they're fucking funding you. It's like, you are an icon and they just keep the 0.97
00:43:06.400 fire burning. Don't tell them like, thank you. Yeah. That's like, they're never going to be able
00:43:11.180 to stop, which works for me personally. So I'm cool with it. Keep the content rolling.
00:43:15.380 Thank you so much. I've even, uh, even when it comes to like you and I, like, I mean,
00:43:21.320 like we've said, I don't get my validation from men ever, especially like literally at all,
00:43:26.400 but especially about looks like that doesn't make me feel good about myself. Nope. Um, and so it's
00:43:31.700 funny when they try to tell us that we're ugly. I'm like, I know for a fact, I'm not ugly. I know
00:43:36.380 for a fact and not only that, but why would I care? Well, do you know that about you? Do you know
00:43:40.700 that you're ugly? Self-awareness. One of us knows we're not ugly and it's not me, man. No, 1.00
00:43:44.960 the, the self-awareness on aisle five has not been picked up yet for them. I fear,
00:43:48.460 but they're not getting validation from men is so key. All I give a fuck about is if girls think 1.00
00:43:53.720 I'm cool. Period. I need a Gen Z girl at this movie place that I go to, to tell me my outfit 1.00
00:43:57.920 is cute. And then that's really all it takes. That's all it takes for me. I'm like glowing
00:44:01.780 for the next three weeks. Well, I'm like Dana's a literal fucking model, like model, like body. 1.00
00:44:06.580 If you take body out of it, the face card has to be on one card is always clearing. I fear. 0.99
00:44:11.180 That's what I'm saying. That's why it's like, they're going to tell you, okay, well,
00:44:13.980 one of us gets paid like for them to take pictures of my face and you don't even have
00:44:19.220 a job. So what are we talking about? That's, that's the best part. Is it like, I sleep well
00:44:22.720 at night. Okay. The eye mask is on, the melatonin is taken and I rest. Okay. Well, y'all bitches 1.00
00:44:27.640 are up concerned about me. The face card always clears. You and me both. One time I got a, I did 0.99
00:44:34.040 a Brandon with Casper. Like I did the mattress and I was like, let me know. They're like, Oh,
00:44:39.120 let us know what caption you want to put. And I was like, let me know if they like this
00:44:42.920 one. And my, my approved caption was literally sometimes men ask me how I sleep at night.
00:44:47.580 And I said, that's easy on a Casper mattress given to me. No, that's incredible. And they
00:44:55.600 like cleared, babe. Yep. The check cleared. Thank you. And that mattress is in my home currently.
00:44:59.680 Oh my God. Iconic. Oh, I'm sure they were ruffled after that one.
00:45:03.440 Oh, this next video is it's this woman who is a self-described curvy model. She's posting 0.77
00:45:10.100 a video with the caption, what I eat in a day before a shoe as a plus size model. And
00:45:14.440 she records herself eating a bagel in the morning, bell peppers. And then she had steak and tacos
00:45:19.200 at dinner, et cetera. And then she films herself at the lingerie shoot the following morning.
00:45:23.560 Yeah. And obviously men are being fucking horrible. Yeah. Um, again, people not getting paid to have 1.00
00:45:29.940 pictures taken of them have a lot, have a lot to say, a lot of thoughts, a lot of comments,
00:45:33.220 a lot of yapping. Yeah. Oh, always. This one says while regular models are busy working out,
00:45:37.660 y'all are consuming breads. Okay. Is there a bread basket in front of me? Are there multiple
00:45:42.440 bread options? Because I would love that. I'd love to hit multiple breads. The breads. Yeah.
00:45:46.980 Real, real models are working out. Biblical discourse, but okay. The breads. Um, but what's
00:45:51.380 so crazy to me is if she was thin, no one would give a fuck. Like if you're like, if you have 1.00
00:45:55.220 a meal. I say that all the time about what I eat in days. If you have a meal as a fat person,
00:45:58.620 God forbid. Yeah. Okay. For real. Healthy, not balanced, not, they don't give a fuck. 0.90
00:46:03.320 Like you are not allowed to eat on the internet as a fat person. Literally at all. And sometimes 0.99
00:46:06.980 thin women, like thin women pioneered mukbangs. I know. And they'll eat so much food and it 1.00
00:46:13.220 looks delicious and yummy. Yeah. I love mukbangs. And then as a one fat person records himself 1.00
00:46:18.360 eating one meal and everyone's like, see, this is a fucking problem. Exactly. This is why you 1.00
00:46:22.080 guys always complain about your weight. Who? No one complains about fat people's appearance
00:46:27.500 more than nonfat people. Oh yeah. Like no one complains. Oh, tea. Yeah. And that's tea,
00:46:35.220 bitch. Yeah. There's a lot to say there, but we'll leave it there. Yep. Yep. But my other 1.00
00:46:38.040 favorite thing is that, um, dietitians will tell you that you need, I think it's like 20
00:46:41.440 grams of carbs for your brain to be working fully. You should try that sometime, Chad.
00:46:45.520 Clearly we haven't hit the carb quota for our morning breakfast. And that's also like a fucking 0.99
00:46:49.300 average. Like it's, it's so specific to the person. That's literally for one. I know it's 0.99
00:46:53.340 so specific, but it's like, you do need that to function your brain. Well, yeah. And that's
00:46:58.320 also energy too. Like also everything she ate was not bad. No, not even close. But even
00:47:04.080 so food is neutral. Like it does not need to be this big, like hoopla about what we're
00:47:08.960 eating. It's ridiculous. Yeah. Like food, you know, I recently made a video to defending 0.96
00:47:13.700 this one girl because she was unfortunately caught in the crosshairs of like a crosshairs. 0.92
00:47:19.300 Those street interview things. Let us know peace from the street interviews. Can we
00:47:23.180 girl on like the banning front? Can we ban? Yeah. Let's go ahead and ban those. I like
00:47:28.000 live in fear of being stopped on the street by a man. Like I have my plan. I'm like, I'm
00:47:32.100 going to just dart. I'm going to book it. I'm going to run. I got my focus on. If I could
00:47:36.640 swing. Absolutely. Do a quick clothesline to him. I'm going to swing immediately. Hate
00:47:41.320 it. But anyway, continue. Yeah. I was, I was defending her because I was getting tagged in.
00:47:45.840 And it was like her finding the video and she was talking about it. And basically one
00:47:52.340 of those awful street interview guys is like trying to hit on her friend. And she just
00:47:55.960 went up and asked her friend, Hey, are you good? And she was like, yeah. And then she
00:47:59.040 just waited off to the side and he was like trying to capture her in weird angles and
00:48:04.060 everything. And everybody was making fun of her way. And in her sit, she was crying about
00:48:07.780 it and saying like, I've just never had this many people talk about my body. Like it's just
00:48:11.940 so upsetting and it's fucking horrible. Trust me. I know Dana and I know better than anyone. 0.99
00:48:16.440 Yeah. Trust me. We don't want to be perceived. I'm good on that. No, I promise. And so when
00:48:20.520 I was talking about it, first of all, it's awful. And I was like, so sorry that that happened
00:48:24.880 to her. But I was also saying to like, when men like mediocre, mid-ass dudes get mad at 0.91
00:48:29.960 you, like the first thing they're going to insult you about is weight, regardless of what 0.95
00:48:33.780 you're built. Like, like you could be in a really good shape, but not thin. You could be
00:48:37.620 tall. You could be short. You could have a belly. You could have no belly, a big ass, 0.98
00:48:40.440 no ass. Like, it doesn't matter. Like they will immediately call you fat. No, always. 1.00
00:48:44.400 They're like, oh, you fucking fatty. Like immediately. So if you know that you could take the power 1.00
00:48:49.200 from it. Exactly. Because fat's not a bad thing, literally at all. Yeah. It's, it's
00:48:52.600 a neutral term. It's a descriptor and it has no morality to it. No, we've added morality.
00:48:57.140 Yeah. We've added morality to it. Like fat is not negative. Larger body is not negative.
00:49:01.000 Not at all. No, it doesn't hold morality. No. And that's like it, I truly, I feel like
00:49:05.640 that was like a huge piece for me when I was unpacking my internalized misogyny.
00:49:10.440 It like really helped me kind of drive it home that like, this doesn't mean anything.
00:49:14.960 If people call me fat, it doesn't mean anything. If I am fat, it doesn't mean anything. Yeah.
00:49:18.180 Because what matters more is how I feel about me inside. Absolutely. I know I'm a bad bitch.
00:49:22.700 So like fat or not. And also I think for me, it just shows how much they lack creativity 0.99
00:49:28.960 because if the only insult you can give to me is that I'm fat, I know I already got you.
00:49:32.780 Exactly. I know I got you in the crosshairs. Like if that's all you got, I'm about to ruin
00:49:38.720 your day, babes. Yeah. Yeah. Honestly, like I don't give a fuck about it. It's just a cheap
00:49:43.120 insult that doesn't fucking matter. Yeah. And it's like, it's, it's again, like you said, 0.99
00:49:47.340 it's so void of creativity. It's fucking boring. Yeah. Like get something better. Yeah. Like 0.99
00:49:51.780 get a better thing. Sometimes I'll tell people, you want to try again? Yeah. I'll give you,
00:49:55.120 I'll give you another shot. I'll give you two more tries. You let me know if you have anything
00:49:58.600 better in there. Cause I'm out here writing a sonnet about you. Stay woke friend. I don't think
00:50:03.040 you're going to come back after I start. So I'd let you go first. Go ahead and fire
00:50:06.020 them off Blair. Exactly. But I think making again, like unpacking our internalized misogyny 0.98
00:50:12.080 as we all have had to do and also internalized fat phobia. I mean, God, they're so intertwined.
00:50:17.940 It's crazy. If you grew up as like a kid or a teen in the early two thousands, like you
00:50:21.660 have internalized fat phobia. But I think bringing just neutrality to weight in general is the best
00:50:28.060 thing that you can do. And knowing that fat is not a negative term. Yeah. Just a descriptor.
00:50:32.520 So if someone calls you that, okay, babe, thank you. Yeah. Period. You said that's not
00:50:35.840 the only thing that's fat. This wallet's fat. This ass is fat. Yeah. Yeah. You goddamn right 1.00
00:50:41.920 on fat bitch. Yeah. Thank you. You goddamn right. So the comments on this, uh, the other 1.00
00:50:47.400 comments on this, this one says, this is the first day she's ate healthy and she did it
00:50:52.140 for the video. Okay. Well just lies. Okay. Great. Yeah. Thank you so much. Are you in my room
00:50:57.260 with me, sir? I'm like, how did you know that? Yeah. Where's the hidden camera? I'm scared
00:51:00.580 now. Like this one says us reality corporations make you fat with their advertising that gets
00:51:07.360 you addicted to their junk food, which is toxic. Then pharmaceutical companies make money.
00:51:11.020 Yeah. Love your body. Imagine thinking that that was like the place in time to discuss
00:51:15.360 that they were like, you know, let's talk about us. Yeah. Like, hold on. Let's talk about
00:51:19.660 the corporate oligarchy. Okay. There's a, here's a pyramid. No insane. If anything, they don't
00:51:26.520 make corporations don't make you fat. They like, what happens is capitalism funds fat
00:51:31.620 phobia. So you're especially towards women. So you're constantly being marketed things that
00:51:36.320 are, that you could buy to make you look better and better is always thinner. They're never,
00:51:42.180 they're never like eat this and get bigger. Like that's what the fuck. No way. They're always 1.00
00:51:45.900 like, you have a big fat, disgusting body. Get rid of it with this thing that you need 1.00
00:51:49.200 to spend a lot of money on. Exactly. There's always money involved. Absolutely. Always an app
00:51:52.740 to download. I was like, capitalism funds fat phobia, bitch. Like that's what drives the 1.00
00:51:57.640 economy a lot of times. Exactly. And capitalism like has made up the lie that women's entire 1.00
00:52:02.280 like looks is our currency. So we feel like our beauty and our thinness and adjacent to
00:52:06.820 thinness is our currency as people. Absolutely. And so it's all like interweaved with all of
00:52:12.120 that. With the presence of social media too, I feel like it's a good or bad. This was going
00:52:15.680 to be my next question. I was curious how you feel like, uh, social media has shifted the
00:52:21.320 modeling industry. Like, do you think it's obviously it's opened a lot of doors, which
00:52:24.920 is a wonderful thing. Um, but then it's also like exposed all these other cracks and fucking 0.99
00:52:30.360 problems. So I'm curious how, how your experience has been, if it's changed it for the better, 0.97
00:52:35.500 for the worst, maybe moving in the right direction. Yeah. So I think in certain ways it's moving
00:52:39.800 in the right direction, but I will also say, I feel like we've seen a huge rollback in inclusivity
00:52:43.960 recently where, you know, you see a lot less like black people and POC in those rooms. You see a lot
00:52:49.680 of less plus size bodies in those rooms. And so I think it's benefited it in some way,
00:52:55.040 but I don't know if we will ever have genuine inclusivity in the industry, which makes me so
00:52:59.920 sad. I know it's kind of like it was rolling forward and now it's like trends are cycling
00:53:03.960 in and out, which bodies are cycling in and out. Yeah. We're having another early 2000s moment where
00:53:08.560 people are like being really fat phobic on the internet again and being very, you know, thin centric
00:53:14.000 and everyone has to be skinny. Yeah. And I'm like, when do we start saying that again? Like I'm not
00:53:18.800 having fun. Um, so I, so I would say in certain ways it's been beneficial in other ways it's been
00:53:24.200 detrimental, but you know, I think it's positive to be able to have a platform and speak about your
00:53:28.640 experience and even just be visible as a larger body person. I think because I've like talked a lot
00:53:35.060 less about my body and my body image journey and my ED recovery. Cause I got tired of talking about
00:53:39.520 it. It became like my entire being. And so it's exhausting. It's exhausting. It's like,
00:53:44.420 sometimes I don't want my body to be the center of the conversation because it also gets exhausting
00:53:48.880 to have people consistently comment about the way that you look good or bad. Totally. It's like,
00:53:53.080 you're in like a glass, you know, like box and people are just like looking at you and making
00:53:57.460 commentary about you. Like you're not a real person with real feelings. No worries. Like that's
00:54:02.760 fine. My therapist will be hearing about this. Thank you. So I think that is another like really
00:54:08.980 difficult thing, but I kind of rolled back, like talking about my body and just wanted to appear
00:54:14.140 on the internet because I feel like that is the most inspirational and something as a consumer that
00:54:18.920 I've enjoyed the most is just seeing plus size people, plus size bodies living their life, living
00:54:24.040 their lives. Yeah. It's like, it's the bravest thing to do. Exactly. There's no justification. I felt
00:54:28.620 like every long caption I wrote, you know, about falling in love with my body and, you know, loving
00:54:33.040 myself and, you know, et cetera, my flaws, like was just me justifying existing. That's
00:54:38.880 honestly too. Yeah. That's such, that's such too. I got to the point where it's like, I
00:54:42.400 would rather inspire people by just being and enjoying my style and enjoying makeup and
00:54:46.760 not feeling like, but asterisk having to fight all the time. Yeah. It's like, also I'm plus
00:54:51.240 size in case you didn't notice, like I'm fat. Thank you. Just in case you forgot, like I
00:54:55.420 have body image issues and an eating disorder. Thank you. I just wanted to be me and have that
00:55:00.620 be, you know, the most radical choice that I make is me without justification. That's such a
00:55:05.280 good point. Yeah. I mean, I, I honestly feel too, that was a big reason. Well, it wasn't the only,
00:55:10.400 it was, wasn't the biggest reason, but it was one of the reasons that I started going to therapy 0.97
00:55:13.720 too, when I built a platform, which you fucking need to do. Oh no, you absolutely, if you don't have 0.96
00:55:18.620 a therapist yet, huge privilege, but like, if you can go, but if you want to be an influencer,
00:55:23.980 make sure. Yeah. Do some pre-work. Make sure you're in fucking therapy. Yeah. Yeah. Um, I remember too,
00:55:29.660 a big thing I had talked to my therapist about, especially in the beginning, cause that was like,
00:55:33.220 right at like my career had just launched. So it was just like, everything's new to me and I was
00:55:37.980 experiencing everything for the first time. And I remember this is a privilege that I had. I
00:55:43.880 was so violently unaware of my body for a very long time. Like I, I obviously knew of my body,
00:55:50.580 but I never perceived any worthiness from it literally ever until I was in my mid to late teens,
00:55:57.420 which is so rare. Like it's so rare, even as someone who didn't grow up as a thin person either.
00:56:02.620 Like I just never gave a shit. Like I was like, I was so like confident in who I was as a person 0.88
00:56:08.940 that my body never played a role in my head. And then obviously as you get older, that changes,
00:56:12.780 especially when you start dating, that changes. Especially if you date men, fuck horrible, 1.00
00:56:16.700 unfortunately concerning times. Yeah. Horrifying. If you're dating men, get into therapy now. 1.00
00:56:21.060 Yeah. Shit. Yeah. And, uh, I remember talking to my therapist about it and I was like kind of 1.00
00:56:26.720 telling her that this job has made me so violently aware of my body in a way that I had never been
00:56:34.400 before. And that's past, uh, like hate comments is obviously like, I don't give a fuck what men 0.97
00:56:38.540 have to say, but like you said, good or bad, like good comments about body things. Fuck with you too. 1.00
00:56:43.840 Um, sometimes they're like shit sandwiches from people who love you about your body. That shit sucks 1.00
00:56:49.080 too. And I remember even, and you know this better than anyone being photographed all the time, 1.00
00:56:53.660 like being photographed, being videoed with all this high tech cameras, lighting from the side,
00:57:00.720 from the front, from the, you know what I mean? Like, it's just like, you become so violently
00:57:04.800 aware of every single inch of your body. It just takes over every like waking fucking thought. It's 0.98
00:57:11.280 horrible. It's absolutely horrific. Yeah. Unless you've been through it, you don't realize how
00:57:15.500 terrible it is. Totally. And I'm so glad that you grew up like not feeling like super aware of your
00:57:20.660 body. Cause that's like so incredible. Yeah. And unfortunately I didn't have that experience.
00:57:25.260 And then growing up and being in the modeling industry where it's like, I see myself so much.
00:57:30.360 Yeah. Like also we are not meant to see ourselves like that. Especially ourselves. Like it's too much.
00:57:35.980 Like I need a break from looking at my own goddamn fucking face. Okay. Yeah. Literally fucking me. 1.00
00:57:40.340 Like when I started seeing myself all the time, I was like, I'm okay. Holy shit. I hate that. 1.00
00:57:44.800 Oh yeah. Hate that. It's awful to be perceived by yourself. It's just not super enjoyable. Yeah. But no,
00:57:50.540 I think that's one of my least favorite experiences in being an influencer is just the constant
00:57:55.700 commentary about the way that you look, the constant commentary about your body. Like I,
00:57:59.480 for example, I have hyperhidrosis and I'm fat. So very fun. But I, um, some girl commented about
00:58:05.080 how sweaty I always look. She's like, you need to powder. I'm like, babe, I have three inches of
00:58:09.440 powder on my face. I just have hyperhidrosis. Like we don't like, you don't need to comment on my
00:58:13.500 medical condition. I don't know. I actually need a stronger powder. Let me know. Do you want to fund it?
00:58:19.320 Like my Venmo is this. Thank you so much. But my other favorite thing is the backhanded
00:58:23.640 compliments that are supposed to be nice. And they're like, love your confidence. Like
00:58:28.200 why, what does that, what does that mean? Carol, Carol? Oh my God. I so wish that I had your
00:58:33.420 confidence, which translate. I think you are a lard. Okay. You are a walrus. You're a big 0.98
00:58:38.980 fatty and that, and honestly, you're brave for wearing that. You are brave. Good for you. I 0.95
00:58:43.200 remember I got so many early on in my career. So many, you're so brave. I was just in a
00:58:47.320 bikini. Carol Ann, Carol Ann, where I'm from, we use manners. Okay. No. What's so brave about
00:58:53.940 that? I'm at the beach. I would throw it back. Like as a question, like, what about this is
00:58:57.360 brave? Panic ensues. Like everyone's running. I'm going to go write that on Kendall Jenner's.
00:59:02.340 Hey, you're so brave for wearing a. Exactly. You would never say this to a thin woman, but okay, 0.97
00:59:06.660 girl. I had another person who like commented and they were like, Oh, seeing your stomach
00:59:11.600 just makes me so happy. Like your stomach, the way your stomach is shaped makes me so
00:59:15.560 happy. I'm going to kill myself. Okay. That's on you. Yeah. By the way. Okay. I'm making 1.00
00:59:22.200 a tape for you right now. 13 reasons style. I've literally gotten one. I've gotten one
00:59:26.640 like that when they're like, I don't even remember. I think it was like a Coachella
00:59:29.480 picture or something. And they were like, Oh my God, girl, like love your content, love
00:59:33.860 your stuff. And I also have a really stretched out belly button. So I'm so happy to see that
00:59:39.140 representation representation. Represent these fucking nuts, bitch. Locked. No, the way 1.00
00:59:46.740 I read it. And I was like, what the fuck does that even mean? I just can't imagine again, 0.98
00:59:52.800 being so bold as a comment that to a stranger, like I wish out, where'd you get your lobotomy
00:59:57.680 girl? Okay. Put my appointment in. Hey, I've never been pregnant. So stretched out where
01:00:01.840 girl? No, that my favorite part is the representation. Like, Oh my God, like love your kinkles. Like
01:00:07.800 I hated mine forever, but now I love seeing the representation of your fat ankles. Like 0.96
01:00:13.540 thank you so much. I got that the other day too, about my big linebacker shoulders. I'm
01:00:17.560 not kidding. She wrote that big linebacker shoulders. People say that to me too. And
01:00:21.520 I, because I do have broad shoulders. I don't give a fuck. I'm gonna check you girl. And 1.00
01:00:25.540 what of it? Yeah. And what of it? Pull up. That's a comment I get from men too. It's
01:00:30.860 always on like boosted ads though. Boosted ads are like the black web, the dark web or whatever
01:00:35.900 the fuck. No, that's how I feel about reels. Oh no, it literally is. The reels algorithm do 0.99
01:00:41.160 be fucking with you. Girl. It is not a good time. You want to get your feelings like trampled. You 1.00
01:00:46.000 put that shit on reels. And like mine are, mine are made of fucking vibranium bitch. The shit they 1.00
01:00:50.840 built Captain America's shield out of is what my feelings are made out of. Yes. And even I was 1.00
01:00:54.520 like, damn, looking at reels comments. Oh, it's insane. Shit, dude. No, they're, they're fucking 0.99
01:00:59.260 unhinged. But if you ever like as a influencer, like when you partner with people, sometimes you 0.99
01:01:04.340 will get boosted. Yeah, they boost them. They whitelist you into the dark depths of the
01:01:08.020 internet. Sometimes Facebook, it is so fucking scary. Oh, on Facebook, it's bad on Facebook. 0.98
01:01:11.480 The things that people will say. Oh, it's so bad on Facebook. I was like, oh, scheduling
01:01:15.480 my therapy appointment tomorrow. Thank you. Oh, love that. Yeah. You really, you really want
01:01:19.560 a good, like, you want a real good kick while you're down. Oh, yeah. You go look on Facebook.
01:01:23.500 Go look on Facebook. Facebook is really where like someone's grandma will be in your comments
01:01:27.800 telling you how you look like a fat slut in that outfit. And I'm like, Carol Ann, I don't think the 1.00
01:01:33.940 church congregation will be really excited to hear that. Dude, when I went to the streamies
01:01:38.340 last year, I wore like a, I wore like a, it was kind of a see-through dress, kind of not,
01:01:44.000 but like, it was hot. She looked incredible. Thank you. It was big, like real tit heavy,
01:01:47.920 right? Love, love literally and figuratively. Yes. And so I remember, I think it was like
01:01:52.340 people magazine or something. Love them. They posted this little cut down of me on the carpet.
01:01:56.840 They were like interviewing me. And, um, obviously it's like a vertical. Yes. Uh, and so you
01:02:02.840 can see me, you can see the host. And obviously my tits are like, they're out girl. They're 1.00
01:02:07.480 out. God bless. They're shiny. They're tan. It's fine. And so this old lady, I'm not, I
01:02:13.100 literally took a picture of it cause it made me laugh. She wrote on there and she goes,
01:02:17.560 nice saggy tits. She's like in her sixties. I'm not kidding. I'm not. I literally took a 1.00
01:02:24.000 picture of it cause I, it made me laugh so hard because I was like, who the fuck are you 1.00
01:02:28.420 calling saggy tits grandma? Oh my God. First of all, my favorite thing to do is I will 1.00
01:02:33.480 find their grandkids or like their kids and be like, Rebecca Sue was really getting out 0.90
01:02:38.140 of hand in the Facebook comments. Someone, she jail broke that phone you hid from her. 0.88
01:02:42.120 I'd go find it. The flip phone. Someone come pick her up. And I went and looked at, she has
01:02:45.960 content on her profile and she is an old ass bitch. And I said, you whip your shit out 1.00
01:02:51.520 bitch. And let's compare who's our sagginess. I literally, I literally wrote back to her and I 1.00
01:02:57.020 just put girl, what? Girl, what? I feel like older people sometimes don't realize that their
01:03:03.060 comments are public. I don't know. I don't know where they think it's going, but they're like,
01:03:06.900 no one will see that. Everyone's seeing it. She's like, how did you get into my private
01:03:10.460 messages? Exactly. Hey girl, you're on people's Tik TOK, people magazines. Maybe learn how to
01:03:14.780 take a screenshot and come back to us, girl. Not only that, but I only saw it because I had,
01:03:19.600 they tagged me and obviously, and I opened it and she was the second comment on that video. 0.81
01:03:23.880 Yeah. Love that. She is pressed. Hey, love that. Love that girl. Again, I can't imagine hating
01:03:29.660 myself so much. So I think the hate from like the older, like generation of women, like sucks so 0.99
01:03:35.100 hard too. I know. Because it happens so much. Hate from women at all is a bummer. I know. Oh. Such a 0.99
01:03:39.580 bummer. It hurts me. I'm like, pour one out for them. They're lost. I know. They're gone. It's so sad.
01:03:43.260 The misogyny's gotten to y'all too, but. Rip. It's, it's fucking wild. Those grandmas in the 0.99
01:03:47.680 Facebook comments are insane. They're crazy. They're scared. Like this was sponsored by them. The scary 1.00
01:03:51.980 grandma's in the Facebook comments. Like, yeah, I was like, I'm not afraid of men. No, I'm afraid
01:03:56.140 of old ladies. Yeah. Yes. She took her walker in to bully us. Like, girl, no, so scary. Okay. So 0.98
01:04:04.540 just to kind of wrap this up, I would love to know, obviously you've imparted so much wisdom on us,
01:04:09.980 but I would love to know, um, what's your best piece of advice for anyone who's like maybe a bigger
01:04:15.820 body person and they're looking into whether it's modeling content creation, maybe both. Yeah. What
01:04:20.420 would you say is your best piece of advice for them navigating the worlds? If you're able to get
01:04:25.200 into therapy, that's number one. Cause it kind of helps like break down those systems of oppression
01:04:29.820 and understand, you know, why people coming are coming at you the way that they are. Absolutely.
01:04:34.140 And I think also like, and this is to anyone too, who's thinking about getting into content creation,
01:04:38.720 modeling, et cetera. Like keep your backbone, like keep your morals, keep your values. Do not let
01:04:43.560 anybody fuck with that because you'll be so grateful. It'll take you a little bit longer to get you to 1.00
01:04:47.740 where you want to be. Okay. You're like lugging up the mountain with all of your morals, like on your
01:04:50.920 back, but it is so worth it to just stay true to you. Like that is probably my, my top advice.
01:04:56.680 Cause you will feel better. You'll feel at peace. Like, unfortunately it is worth it. Yeah. And
01:05:02.300 also it helps you feel confident within yourself to the core as well. Like, you know who you are,
01:05:06.860 no one else can affect that. Yeah. And when you stay true to that, like nothing else will affect you.
01:05:11.380 Absolutely. Yeah. And I'd also like to add that Dana is genuinely so beautiful in person and every
01:05:16.960 model I've ever met is like literally so beautiful in fucking person, like literally in person. 0.97
01:05:22.360 That is not the cameras girl. Like they like face card never declines. 0.99
01:05:26.200 It truly, it's even better. And they're also every single model I've met is really good at their own
01:05:30.140 makeup. Like you're so stunned, but you're so, I like pay someone to do mine, but like you could do
01:05:35.100 your own, but I genuinely feel that's why they're so good at their own makeup because you have to learn how to 0.92
01:05:40.980 be good at your, I've had to fix a lot of fucked up makeup. So here I am. No, it's so real though. 0.96
01:05:46.020 Yeah. I do the own personal beat. I care. Yeah. Gotta fix it. Yeah. Gotta fix it. You got five
01:05:50.680 minutes. Gotta fix it. Yep. Exactly. Well, thank you so much for coming on the show. Oh my gosh.

01:06:07.980 Instagram. Oh, finally. Finally. I know some like random person with
01:06:10.940 zero followers had it. I'm like, please, I beg of you. Please give me my handle. But if you look
