00:01:00.020 Do y'all ever have men be like, how tall are you? I'm probably about like, around the same height.

00:01:04.240 All the time.

00:01:05.460 It's not even night, they'll come stand next to you and be like...

00:01:09.340 Like, boy, back up.

00:01:11.480 Yeah.

00:01:16.760 Hey, everyone, and welcome back to another episode of the Comment Section Show, starring me, your fave.

00:01:22.660 Everybody knows me. Who cares about me?

00:01:24.420 On to the guests.

00:01:25.560 Today, we have two iconic, legendary athletes. 0.99

00:01:28.320 I'm just collecting them all, bitch. 1.00

00:01:30.480 We have Janiah Barker and Kiki Rice. 1.00

00:01:33.060 Woo! 0.99

00:01:35.120 Welcome to the show, ladies.

00:01:36.780 Thank you so much for having us.

00:01:38.320 Oh, my gosh.

00:01:38.820 Thank you.

00:01:39.300 It's an honor and a privilege.

00:01:40.420 I'm collecting female athletes like Infinity Stones. 1.00

00:01:43.320 Who else did you do?

00:01:44.100 I had Ziya.

00:01:45.900 Cook?

00:01:46.160 Yes.

00:01:46.600 I had Ziya on. 0.81

00:01:48.380 I had a rugby player, Ilona Marr.

00:01:51.720 Now, I'm slowly worming my way into the WNBA. 0.94

00:01:55.640 Arike is next on my list.

00:01:57.120 I'm after her.

00:01:58.160 Tell her I'm looking for her.

00:01:59.720 After that All-Star performance.

00:02:01.380 Yeah.

00:02:01.780 Oh, she did crazy.

00:02:03.180 And I was at that game.

00:02:04.580 Oh, you were at that?

00:02:05.400 Yeah, I went to the All-Star game this weekend. 0.98

00:02:06.780 It was fucking so fun. 0.98

00:02:07.880 Really? 0.99

00:02:08.440 Yeah, never felt safer in a crowd of sports athletes. 0.99

00:02:11.660 Because it's just, it's all lesbians and women. 1.00

00:02:14.020 Right?

00:02:14.420 I love that.

00:02:15.140 I love that.

00:02:15.860 I love that.

00:02:17.260 When you're in an audience of male fans.

00:02:20.260 Horrifying.

00:02:20.880 It gets scary and they get drunk.

00:02:22.280 Yeah, exactly.

00:02:23.620 Nothing but love and good vibes.

00:02:25.740 Good energy.

00:02:26.440 But I'm honored to have both of you.

00:02:28.080 Thank you so much.

00:02:28.680 All-Star basketball players.

00:02:30.140 Both UCLA Bruins.

00:02:31.680 Oh, yeah.

00:02:32.060 Four's up.

00:02:32.660 You know how we get.

00:02:33.420 It's just go Bruins, right?

00:02:34.840 I don't know.

00:02:35.220 Four's up.

00:02:35.980 Four's up?

00:02:36.740 Yeah.

00:02:37.080 Is that for women's basketball exclusively or just Bruins in general?

00:02:38.980 Oh, just the Bruins.

00:02:39.880 Yeah, UCLA.

00:02:40.400 Period.

00:02:41.120 Yeah.

00:02:41.300 Is there a reason for the four?

00:02:43.260 I don't know.

00:02:44.020 I don't know.

00:02:45.540 I just think it's because like UCLA, like, maybe.

00:02:50.360 I don't know.

00:02:50.860 I just got here.

00:02:51.960 I just got here.

00:02:53.020 Someone gets mad at you.

00:02:54.020 Right.

00:02:55.080 They're like, actually, that's not it.

00:02:56.540 Right.

00:02:56.920 Sorry.

00:02:57.320 But I'd love to know your guys' origins, like how you got into basketball.

00:03:01.620 I know your lore to an extent, but I would love for everyone else to know, like, how you

00:03:06.320 got into basketball.

00:03:07.380 Yeah.

00:03:07.640 So I started playing when I was like six years old.

00:03:09.860 So I've been playing for a while.

00:03:12.400 I wanted to do everything that my brother did.

00:03:14.280 And my older brother, he's a few years older than me, so he would go.

00:03:16.900 He'd go shoot at our neighbor's house and stuff.

00:03:18.780 So I'd want to go down with him and my dad and so on.

00:03:21.260 And I kind of went down there and took my first shot.

00:03:23.860 And ever since then, I've been playing on, like, AAU teams, travel teams, and just stuck

00:03:27.560 with it my whole life.

00:03:28.520 Period.

00:03:29.260 I just want to give Kiki her props.

00:03:30.720 She plays soccer as well. 0.99

00:03:32.560 Oh, T-Bitch. 1.00

00:03:34.900 Gatorade player of the year. 0.98

00:03:36.180 Oh, period.

00:03:37.180 She's that girl.

00:03:38.220 Okay, jack of all trades.

00:03:39.500 I wanted to give that to her.

00:03:41.320 But yeah, I started playing basketball, I want to say, like, five.

00:03:47.040 I just remember my dad, we were watching a Boston Celtics game, and I'm like, what are

00:03:51.060 they doing?

00:03:52.080 What's going on over there?

00:03:53.180 Trying to be like them.

00:03:53.980 Right.

00:03:54.500 So ever since then, it's been the tallest thing on the court, and just loved it so much.

00:03:59.960 And it's literally my life, so that's just part of me.

00:04:03.300 And how has it been, like, succeeding at a sport so young?

00:04:07.540 Has it been, did it take any of the fun out of it for you, or has it been just, like, the

00:04:11.980 higher you go, the more excited you get and more motivated you are?

00:04:14.840 I mean, at one point it did, because I think my pops knew, like, my potential and how good

00:04:20.800 I could be.

00:04:21.260 So the push was like, okay, like, hold on, you're doing a bit too much, it's not fun

00:04:25.720 anymore, like, this is making a job.

00:04:27.740 But after that, it was just, like, sometimes it's just surreal.

00:04:32.060 Like, me and Kiki, yeah.

00:04:33.920 Me and Kiki, we won a gold medal.

00:04:36.340 Yeah, we won a gold medal together.

00:04:37.060 Two gold medals.

00:04:38.080 Yeah, we won two gold medals together.

00:04:39.620 So U16, like, winning a gold medal, like, just, that's crazy.

00:04:43.760 Yeah.

00:04:43.940 You know what I'm saying?

00:04:44.460 I'm, like, realizing it now, but I think at a young age, I'm just, like, living.

00:04:48.120 Yeah, totally.

00:04:49.200 Yeah.

00:04:49.580 What about you, Kiki?

00:04:50.680 Yeah, for me, when I was younger, actually, I played soccer, too.

00:04:54.200 And there's a point where I'm like, all right, like, I want to play soccer and not basketball,

00:04:56.900 because my mom, or my dad is less hard on me about soccer, because obviously you don't

00:05:00.580 know anything about soccer.

00:05:02.960 So I'm like, yes, I'll play soccer, because, like, my dad, he's on me about basketball, working

00:05:07.540 out, training, all that stuff.

00:05:08.540 But, and then when I got to, like, maybe 12-ish, at that point, I was like, okay, like, you

00:05:15.120 know, like, I love basketball more than I love soccer.

00:05:17.080 So I knew I wanted to continue to do it.

00:05:19.980 But, yeah, there's a point where I'm like, I don't even know if I want to do this, because

00:05:22.360 soccer seemed like it'd be the easier route in terms of me getting yelled at and all

00:05:25.500 that stuff.

00:05:27.020 But, no, like, I felt, you know, you're in love with a game, and you play so much, and

00:05:30.720 you give so much to it.

00:05:31.560 So it's like, I got to keep playing, got to keep, you know, realizing.

00:05:34.620 Yeah.

00:05:35.100 Potential.

00:05:35.860 Absolutely.

00:05:36.480 Also, too, I feel like, because the two of you are so prominent in women's basketball,

00:05:41.740 especially now, and with, like, the resurgence of women's basketball this year, like, women's

00:05:46.720 basketball has seen so many new fans this year.

00:05:49.260 It's become so popular.

00:05:50.800 I'm sure it can get difficult, too, like, having so many more eyes on you now, like, especially

00:05:54.920 with social media.

00:05:55.740 Like, it just blows up overnight, almost.

00:05:58.820 Yeah.

00:05:59.360 I can say that.

00:06:00.500 I would say that.

00:06:00.920 Yeah.

00:06:01.260 But in a way, it's, like, a good thing.

00:06:02.560 It's a-

00:06:02.760 Oh, yeah.

00:06:03.000 It is a wonderful thing.

00:06:04.260 But it is, like, yeah, you see, like, a player tweet something, or they post something,

00:06:09.040 and it's, like, overnight, right away, like, literally, the whole scandal something drama.

00:06:13.220 Yeah, it's on Bleacher Report.

00:06:14.920 Immediately.

00:06:15.720 Yeah.

00:06:16.260 Especially with women's basketball. 1.00

00:06:17.360 Do y'all have, like, did y'all have any people that you watched playing the game that

00:06:21.600 you were like, I'm trying to be like her?

00:06:23.100 I mean, okay, well, I'm a really big fan of Rekia Jackson, like, somebody else used to

00:06:27.800 get on the show.

00:06:28.360 She plays for the Sparks.

00:06:29.260 Oh, T.

00:06:30.620 Really love her game, but I think, not, like, be like, but just to be excited and proud

00:06:35.660 of.

00:06:36.180 I grew up with Angel Reese, like, so just see her just flourish and be everything that

00:06:41.740 she can be and everything that she dreamed of.

00:06:43.440 And, like, even being a model, like, it's just so beautiful to see that.

00:06:46.700 Yeah.

00:06:46.880 It's, like, I have guy friends, you know, they go college for a year and then they go

00:06:50.560 to league.

00:06:51.120 So, it's, like, they get to live their life, but just to see her flourish and just grow

00:06:55.020 throughout all of it is just so beautiful.

00:06:56.800 Love.

00:06:57.400 Love.

00:06:58.100 What about you?

00:06:58.960 For me, it wasn't really, like, one player that I was, like, you know, I want to be like

00:07:02.520 her, I want to play like, but I think it was just a collection of, like, growing up,

00:07:05.440 like, watching women's college basketball and, like, every single year I'd see, like, more

00:07:08.540 people know about the game, more people tuned into the players.

00:07:11.740 I think, for me, that was just exciting.

00:07:13.100 It, like, made me want to be a part of the game and, you know, get there one day, even

00:07:17.880 sooner.

00:07:18.540 Hell, yeah.

00:07:19.260 Well, that was going to be my next question was, like, now that women's basketball has, 0.97

00:07:23.800 is, like, moving so quickly to, like, mainstream, obviously there have been people that have

00:07:27.780 been fans of women's basketball for a long time, but now a lot of people are like, I didn't

00:07:31.300 even know there was a women's league.

00:07:32.860 Like, they're just, they're finding out today.

00:07:35.180 How do y'all feel about all the new attention and new fans coming in to watch women's basketball?

00:07:39.840 We went from, they need to be in the kitchen making peanut butter jelly sandwiches to,

00:07:44.880 oh my gosh, I'm such a fan.

00:07:46.900 So, it's really been like a rollercoaster ride, but it's, like, it's such a blessing.

00:07:51.340 Like, you know, of course, I feel like we deserve every attention that we get from it because

00:07:57.020 we put as much work in as the boys, you know what I'm saying?

00:07:59.960 Yeah, totally.

00:08:00.520 We just wait for that money to get, you know, where the boys are at.

00:08:02.980 It's coming soon.

00:08:04.300 But, yeah, it's so crazy.

00:08:07.520 I mean, I like the new fans.

00:08:08.940 Sometimes it's like, you can tell, you haven't been watching basketball in a while.

00:08:12.040 You don't know what you're talking about.

00:08:13.860 You don't know too much.

00:08:15.240 So, sometimes you gotta, you know, say something.

00:08:17.000 But I think it's cool to, like, introduce so many new people to the game and it's like,

00:08:20.860 now you see, like, little boys wearing, like, jerseys of WNBA players and not NBA players.

00:08:25.500 So, it's like, you know, like, that's stuff we love to see.

00:08:27.700 Yeah, I saw a lot of little boys at the All-Star game in, like, Diana Taurasi jerseys.

00:08:32.940 Like, a lot of them were in Taurasi jerseys, which I thought was so cute.

00:08:35.320 They love DT. Everybody loves DT.

00:08:37.640 Yeah, she's beloved, like, especially because we were in Phoenix.

00:08:40.560 Like, when she came out, it was like, ah, like, Justin Bieber was there.

00:08:44.160 Yeah, girl, everybody loves DT.

00:08:46.460 She's the cutest.

00:08:47.300 I'm so curious, like, how, well, obviously, Janae, you transferred.

00:08:52.980 So, how has that been for you?

00:08:54.620 Man, I went to Texas A&M and I just came, like, College Station is just such a small, small town.

00:08:59.980 So, to come to L.A., like, there's just been so many opportunities.

00:09:03.220 Like, first of all, like, being here is really, really cool.

00:09:05.240 Yeah.

00:09:05.380 But L.A. is just so, L.A., like, L.A. is just L.A.

00:09:11.340 Like, it's not a bad thing.

00:09:12.420 It's just the way they are.

00:09:14.080 Some people are weird.

00:09:15.640 Some people are cool.

00:09:17.580 The beautiful, the views are nice.

00:09:19.940 There's just, like, no in between.

00:09:21.180 They're either weird or they're cool.

00:09:22.240 Yeah.

00:09:22.660 Yeah.

00:09:22.840 It's really scary.

00:09:24.660 It's really scary.

00:09:25.980 Like, you don't know really who to trust.

00:09:27.380 But I've had great people around me just to introduce me to people that are good people.

00:09:31.860 So, that's a blessing.

00:09:33.200 Yeah.

00:09:33.380 And you're from Texas?

00:09:34.620 No, I'm from Atlanta, Georgia.

00:09:35.900 Oh, KT.

00:09:36.520 Yes, girl.

00:09:37.420 Where are you from?

00:09:38.420 I'm from here.

00:09:39.120 Southern California.

00:09:39.760 Not L.A., but.

00:09:40.500 I think the natives are cool, though.

00:09:41.840 Yeah.

00:09:42.280 I think natives are cool.

00:09:43.200 I think the people that move to L.A.

00:09:44.960 Yeah.

00:09:45.460 Are, like, the ones that be like, weird.

00:09:47.000 Girl, what is he doing?

00:09:49.020 Girl, what do you got going on?

00:09:51.300 Kiki, where are you from originally?

00:09:52.500 I'm from D.C., East Coast.

00:09:53.820 Okay.

00:09:54.780 Opposite side of the country.

00:09:55.780 Very, very different vibe over there.

00:09:57.580 Yeah.

00:09:57.920 I've been to D.C. once.

00:09:58.940 It was fun.

00:09:59.640 It's nice.

00:10:01.740 Yeah, for sure.

00:10:03.500 It's a completely different experience.

00:10:05.040 Yeah, no.

00:10:05.540 But I like it, though.

00:10:06.720 What have you learned, like, since you, like, because you've been here, like, for, like,

00:10:09.160 what, this year three?

00:10:10.300 Yeah.

00:10:10.600 Third year living here.

00:10:11.320 So, like, what you think is, like, something that you should take?

00:10:14.980 Everyone here is definitely a lot more materialistic than back home in D.C.

00:10:18.600 Yeah.

00:10:19.220 And that's something that, like, I mean, I think it's, like, cool stuff that you have

00:10:22.860 out here.

00:10:23.320 Right.

00:10:23.520 But it's, like, it's very different coming from D.C.

00:10:25.640 Like, everyone's into politics and, like, the government and all that.

00:10:28.480 And out here, it's, like, people go about their day knowing, like,

00:10:31.560 nothing that's happening in the world.

00:10:33.980 It's so, so different.

00:10:35.060 That's a lot different.

00:10:36.220 In a way that's, like, a breath of fresh air and stuff.

00:10:38.360 But it's also, like, now I'll go back to D.C.

00:10:39.760 And it's, like, immediately, like, it's just, I feel a different vibe.

00:10:42.900 Yeah.

00:10:43.100 For sure.

00:10:43.820 One of my favorite questions to ask female athletes is, like, 1.00

00:10:46.940 what your experience has been like with men who are, like,

00:10:51.120 you should be one-on-one me.

00:10:52.920 You and I should go play.

00:10:54.440 It's always the football players.

00:10:56.360 Like, it's always the football players because they think they, like,

00:11:00.540 they were dual-sport athletes.

00:11:02.020 If they wanted to play basketball, they could.

00:11:03.780 Yeah.

00:11:04.400 It was never good.

00:11:05.300 They're like, oh, I could have.

00:11:06.240 I could have.

00:11:06.620 I just chose football.

00:11:07.600 Right. 1.00

00:11:08.020 You're a liar. 1.00

00:11:08.800 Sure. 1.00

00:11:09.360 Yeah, no.

00:11:09.860 Yeah, sure.

00:11:10.340 It's kind of scary, too.

00:11:12.160 They be big, too.

00:11:13.180 Right.

00:11:13.320 They be big.

00:11:13.900 Like, you're literally an offensive tackle.

00:11:16.800 Like, I don't know where you're going.

00:11:18.860 A big boy.

00:11:19.700 Big boy.

00:11:20.320 Yeah.

00:11:21.060 They have all the confidence in the world every single time.

00:11:24.100 That's just men, though.

00:11:25.020 You know, that testosterone gets to boiling.

00:11:27.440 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:11:28.480 It's scary.

00:11:29.080 Mm-hmm.

00:11:29.940 Definitely, I've played, like, a lot of guys would be like,

00:11:32.300 oh, let's play one-on-one.

00:11:33.280 And guys also do that to flirt and stuff.

00:11:35.160 Right.

00:11:36.500 When I had Ziya, she goes, that's the worst when they're, like,

00:11:40.320 trying to make it into love and basketball.

00:11:41.900 Like, knock it off.

00:11:42.940 Like, just, like, play for real.

00:11:44.280 Play for real.

00:11:44.780 Like, I'll meet you.

00:11:46.000 I'm not going to be backing you down or something.

00:11:47.600 Exactly. 0.98

00:11:48.160 Like, I'm not going to put my butt on you, boy. 0.99

00:11:49.860 Like, play for real. 0.99

00:11:51.980 Yeah, exactly.

00:11:54.440 Yeah, but no, it's always good to give them that work

00:11:57.040 and, like, win and beat them.

00:11:58.100 It's like, all right.

00:11:59.020 They ain't got nothing to say.

00:12:00.080 Yeah, what about, like, the gym at school or something?

00:12:02.680 Like, you know, sometimes they'll play, like,

00:12:04.700 pick up basketball there, and then they're like,

00:12:06.960 yeah, you should play.

00:12:07.860 You should play with us.

00:12:08.520 And then they start getting, it starts not being very funny

00:12:11.080 after a while.

00:12:12.580 They get hella competitive, and they're mad.

00:12:14.120 You're scoring on them.

00:12:15.020 Yeah.

00:12:15.600 It's like, trying to foul, be a little dangerous.

00:12:18.520 Yeah, do it too much.

00:12:19.080 It's time to go.

00:12:19.620 Yeah, don't do all that.

00:12:21.120 Because football players forget it's basketball,

00:12:23.040 and they start going to football again.

00:12:24.720 Yeah.

00:12:25.260 No.

00:12:25.640 They start getting mad and competitive.

00:12:27.060 I told Ziya the same thing, too, that I read this thread

00:12:30.320 from this famous female basketball player.

00:12:32.820 I wish to God I could remember who it was.

00:12:34.340 But she wrote this whole thing basically saying

00:12:35.800 why she doesn't one-on-one, 0.69

00:12:37.420 why she stopped one-on-one-ing dudes all the time. 1.00

00:12:40.880 Because she said,

00:12:41.740 I was very competitive,

00:12:42.640 and I felt like I had to prove myself,

00:12:43.960 so I would play every guy who challenged me.

00:12:45.700 Wow.

00:12:46.140 And I would always beat them.

00:12:47.220 But what happens is,

00:12:48.880 as you start getting older,

00:12:50.080 and they start getting bigger,

00:12:51.240 they start getting more aggressive,

00:12:52.760 and then they might actually hurt you.

00:12:54.480 Mm-hmm.

00:12:54.760 And then she's like,

00:12:55.500 I have something to play for.

00:12:56.820 You don't.

00:12:57.420 Literally.

00:12:57.800 So this isn't worth it to me.

00:12:59.160 Yes.

00:12:59.500 That sounds like Ty and Johnny,

00:13:03.320 and our practice players.

00:13:04.480 Yeah.

00:13:04.740 They get real aggressive.

00:13:05.840 They love a good back down.

00:13:07.420 You're big.

00:13:08.360 You got it.

00:13:09.020 You know what I'm saying?

00:13:09.560 You're strong.

00:13:10.800 Okay, you're very strong.

00:13:12.620 Good job.

00:13:13.360 Yeah, they love to beat that testosterone. 1.00

00:13:16.220 That testosterone.

00:13:17.380 My sister loves the WNBA, 0.94

00:13:19.240 but she was telling me, too,

00:13:20.320 how college teams have practice squads

00:13:23.960 of men who scrimmage the women, 0.93

00:13:27.520 and they just help the women get better, 1.00

00:13:30.980 and they run new schemes and shit on them. 0.98

00:13:32.680 And so I was like, 0.88

00:13:33.680 yeah, that's pretty standard.

00:13:35.160 I mean, they have those in football and stuff, too,

00:13:37.000 but it's funny that it's men.

00:13:38.340 Yeah.

00:13:38.600 I feel like a lot of men

00:13:39.260 who critique women's basketball

00:13:40.620 have no idea that that's the case.

00:13:42.360 Right.

00:13:42.900 Like, they're like,

00:13:43.380 there are men that stand in

00:13:44.720 so you guys can play against them.

00:13:46.080 Literally.

00:13:47.040 Every day we got the practice guys there.

00:13:49.660 And a lot of them, like,

00:13:50.880 a lot of them, it's like,

00:13:51.860 you know, they're great

00:13:52.400 just because, you know,

00:13:53.740 they come to practice,

00:13:54.460 and they're like,

00:13:54.760 dang, we didn't realize

00:13:55.640 how good y'all were.

00:13:56.560 Right.

00:13:56.760 You know what I mean?

00:13:57.520 You have that weird,

00:13:58.620 isn't that so strange?

00:13:59.620 Like, even as long as y'all

00:14:00.660 have been playing now,

00:14:01.420 like, you've proven yourself,

00:14:03.720 obviously, right?

00:14:04.580 Right.

00:14:04.880 So you are an athlete,

00:14:06.260 so clearly.

00:14:07.420 And then when you play them,

00:14:08.380 they're like,

00:14:08.940 you're actually pretty good.

00:14:10.280 Right. 1.00

00:14:11.160 Yeah, no shit, bitch. 1.00

00:14:12.540 Like, what the fuck? 1.00

00:14:13.440 Actually, it's crazy. 1.00

00:14:14.880 Like, duh.

00:14:16.120 Yeah, yeah.

00:14:17.400 Obviously.

00:14:18.080 Go to UCLA.

00:14:20.100 That's why I'm on the team,

00:14:21.700 and you're not.

00:14:22.640 Not.

00:14:23.020 You're a practice player.

00:14:25.660 Yes.

00:14:26.040 Yeah, that's kind of how that works.

00:14:27.660 They pick good people

00:14:28.620 to play on the college spot.

00:14:29.540 No, they do be good, though.

00:14:30.920 Yeah.

00:14:31.080 It's a couple of, like,

00:14:32.920 his name is Cody.

00:14:33.940 He's shifty.

00:14:34.700 Like, it'd be hard.

00:14:35.720 Like, you don't want to guard him

00:14:36.620 in practice.

00:14:37.320 You know what I'm saying?

00:14:38.340 But also, too,

00:14:38.980 they do a really good job

00:14:39.780 of, like,

00:14:40.700 when we scout teams,

00:14:41.700 like, say we're playing

00:14:42.680 Kaylin Clark.

00:14:44.140 Yeah.

00:14:44.280 Like, if you're playing Iowa,

00:14:45.200 somebody's going to be

00:14:45.880 Kaylin Clark all practice

00:14:47.160 the whole time

00:14:48.160 and shooting threes and stuff.

00:14:49.220 Yeah.

00:14:49.360 You know what I'm saying?

00:14:49.920 So they're just literally

00:14:51.000 helping us

00:14:51.580 and preparing us for the game

00:14:52.940 to get us ready,

00:14:54.100 get us better,

00:14:54.620 and, you know,

00:14:55.300 give us a little simulation

00:14:56.180 of what it's supposed

00:14:56.800 to look like.

00:14:57.480 Now that, like,

00:14:58.420 women's basketball

00:14:58.880 has become so front-facing

00:15:00.040 in a lot of ways

00:15:00.800 and a lot of you girls

00:15:02.460 individually now

00:15:03.280 are growing fan bases.

00:15:04.740 Like, people are like,

00:15:05.220 oh, she's my favorite player.

00:15:06.180 I love them.

00:15:06.680 I love them. 0.94

00:15:07.120 Which is so fucking cool.

00:15:08.760 I'm curious, like,

00:15:09.560 how has the journey

00:15:10.160 been on social media

00:15:10.960 with men specifically

00:15:12.160 who are like,

00:15:13.040 oh, she's not even 0.99

00:15:14.000 that fucking good. 0.99

00:15:15.160 Like, just give me a week. 1.00

00:15:16.580 I could fucking beat her. 1.00

00:15:17.640 Like, that type of shit. 1.00

00:15:18.800 How has that been for y'all? 1.00

00:15:20.260 Yeah, I see all that stuff

00:15:21.320 and disregard it.

00:15:22.080 Like, I don't even

00:15:22.440 pay no mind to it at all.

00:15:24.040 Literally.

00:15:24.340 It's like, it's not worth

00:15:25.260 the time of day.

00:15:26.580 Yeah, other than it

00:15:27.280 being a lie. 0.71

00:15:28.080 Right, men are scary. 0.97

00:15:29.680 Like, men are really scary.

00:15:31.040 Yeah, I made a few videos

00:15:33.080 defending WNBA players 0.84

00:15:34.900 because it was really

00:15:36.080 pissing me off.

00:15:37.820 Like, especially when

00:15:38.660 Caitlin Clark, like,

00:15:40.500 became so popular

00:15:41.620 amongst all sports fans.

00:15:43.220 Like, men were having 1.00

00:15:44.400 a fucking field day, 1.00

00:15:45.400 like, talking shit 1.00

00:15:46.100 on women's basketball players. 1.00

00:15:47.740 Her specifically,

00:15:48.640 but also all of them.

00:15:50.300 And there was one guy,

00:15:51.460 or these two guys

00:15:52.400 that were saying, like,

00:15:53.100 oh, who do you think,

00:15:54.460 like, the best WNBA squad

00:15:56.920 or the best men's basketball

00:15:59.860 high school team?

00:16:01.000 Like, which one do you think?

00:16:02.120 I've seen that. 1.00

00:16:03.240 When you saw that shit? 1.00

00:16:04.260 Yeah. 1.00

00:16:05.060 The way it infuriated me

00:16:06.700 because I'm like,

00:16:07.540 okay, just based off

00:16:09.080 their build alone,

00:16:09.900 I know for a fact

00:16:10.860 you're not an athlete.

00:16:11.580 So what are we talking about?

00:16:12.620 Like, we could sit here 1.00

00:16:13.680 and do this make-believe shit 1.00

00:16:15.340 all fucking day, 1.00

00:16:16.120 but, like, what is the point? 0.99

00:16:17.200 There's literally no point.

00:16:18.260 And they're like,

00:16:18.700 well, how come women 1.00

00:16:20.260 don't want a scrimmage man? 1.00

00:16:21.360 Why the fuck would they do that? 0.99

00:16:23.180 They have a job to do. 0.99

00:16:24.680 Yes, exactly.

00:16:25.200 Well, it's like,

00:16:25.740 they get paid to do the sport.

00:16:27.380 You don't.

00:16:28.140 You get nothing

00:16:29.280 from beating some randos.

00:16:31.380 Yeah, exactly.

00:16:31.940 Like, what do we get, you know?

00:16:33.240 I get nothing.

00:16:34.260 That's the thing, too.

00:16:34.980 Like, that,

00:16:35.840 like, that's the peak of, like,

00:16:37.700 when it just started

00:16:38.500 to get better for the women. 0.97

00:16:39.840 Exactly.

00:16:40.300 But, like, men used to bash

00:16:42.160 women's basketball, like... 0.99

00:16:43.480 All the time.

00:16:44.000 All the time.

00:16:44.660 Yeah.

00:16:44.980 ESPN post something,

00:16:46.120 like, regular ESPN.

00:16:47.200 Yeah.

00:16:47.440 Why are we posting about women?

00:16:49.400 We don't care.

00:16:50.180 Yeah, Facebook report, same thing.

00:16:51.860 They need to be cooking.

00:16:53.000 They need to be cleaning.

00:16:54.420 Like, why they're not pregnant right now? 0.63

00:16:56.320 Yeah.

00:16:56.640 It's like, you know what I'm saying?

00:16:57.280 It's nothing original. 0.99

00:16:58.640 It's all fucking... 1.00

00:17:00.140 Terrible. 1.00

00:17:00.920 ...1800s jokes about women. 0.91

00:17:02.820 I'm like, okay.

00:17:03.580 Y'all think this is funny?

00:17:04.920 Yeah, I know.

00:17:05.940 Like, y'all really think this is funny?

00:17:07.360 I know.

00:17:07.640 Sometimes when men attack me,

00:17:09.000 I'm like,

00:17:09.360 the most offensive thing about this

00:17:10.500 is you thought this was funny.

00:17:11.580 Right.

00:17:12.020 Like, you think this hurts my feelings?

00:17:13.520 That's not even funny.

00:17:14.340 You went out your way.

00:17:15.640 Yeah, yeah.

00:17:16.240 All out your way.

00:17:16.940 Just to have a bad joke.

00:17:19.320 Yeah, all that work and for nothing.

00:17:21.520 Literally.

00:17:21.820 I feel like that's a huge reason, too,

00:17:24.200 why women are so... 1.00

00:17:26.720 Like, female athletes are so unfazed by that shit 1.00

00:17:29.080 because that's all they've heard forever. 1.00

00:17:32.060 Literally.

00:17:32.240 So every time I've talked to a female athlete 1.00

00:17:33.940 and I ask them about that, too,

00:17:35.300 they're always like,

00:17:36.160 nah, whatever.

00:17:37.800 Yeah.

00:17:38.180 You know what I mean?

00:17:39.060 Like, men are not like that.

00:17:40.760 Like, when men get critiqued,

00:17:42.220 like, a lot of times they get very angry

00:17:44.140 and they feel like they have to prove themselves.

00:17:45.960 And that's the sad part,

00:17:47.140 but also the kick-ass part about women 1.00

00:17:48.820 is they're kind of like,

00:17:49.620 well, of course they're going to say that.

00:17:51.540 They work at State Farm.

00:17:52.420 Of course they're going to say that.

00:17:53.240 They're mad at me.

00:17:53.760 That testosterone, Drew,

00:17:56.260 that testosterone gets them going. 0.82

00:17:58.420 Yeah, Ziya told me,

00:18:00.140 she's like,

00:18:00.520 sometimes when I would scrimmage them

00:18:01.740 in, like, just an LA fitness or something,

00:18:03.460 like, I just go and I play.

00:18:05.200 They start playing, like,

00:18:06.360 there's scouts watching

00:18:07.360 and I'm like, all right.

00:18:08.400 Yes.

00:18:09.680 It'd be their all-star game.

00:18:11.740 They're like,

00:18:12.500 just in case someone's watching

00:18:13.820 that could draft me.

00:18:14.860 I gotta really show out.

00:18:16.460 I guess it's WNBA players. 1.00

00:18:18.480 Your time's passed.

00:18:20.080 Okay.

00:18:20.520 It's also so not true.

00:18:24.300 Like, I'm like,

00:18:24.700 I think that,

00:18:25.680 because some were like,

00:18:26.520 oh, well, women are 1.00

00:18:27.260 naturally shorter than men.

00:18:29.040 I'm all,

00:18:29.600 in the WNBA,

00:18:30.660 they are not short.

00:18:31.580 That is one thing they aren't.

00:18:32.680 Yeah. 1.00

00:18:33.000 What the fuck? 1.00

00:18:33.840 Like, the shortest player 1.00

00:18:34.760 is like 5'9",

00:18:35.920 and that's taller than most men.

00:18:37.200 True.

00:18:37.440 So.

00:18:38.160 That's taller than the average women, too. 1.00

00:18:39.680 Do y'all ever have men be like,

00:18:41.040 how tall are you?

00:18:41.580 I'm probably about, like,

00:18:42.400 around the same height.

00:18:43.840 Oh, all the time.

00:18:45.120 It's not even nine.

00:18:45.940 They'll come standing next to you

00:18:46.980 and be like.

00:18:49.120 Like, boy,

00:18:50.080 back up.

00:18:51.820 I do not know you.

00:18:52.960 They feel so, like,

00:18:53.940 flexed on by your height.

00:18:55.900 How tall are you?

00:18:56.660 I'm 6'4".

00:18:57.720 Oh, my God.

00:18:59.180 If I was 6'4",

00:19:00.400 man,

00:19:00.620 I'd be dunking.

00:19:03.200 Okay.

00:19:04.400 Tell us, like,

00:19:05.080 if you were 6'8",

00:19:05.940 you couldn't dunk.

00:19:06.560 Right.

00:19:06.980 What are we talking about?

00:19:07.840 Like,

00:19:08.140 you worry about the wrong stuff.

00:19:09.580 You're living in a fantasy.

00:19:11.580 Down.

00:19:12.340 That's my favorite part, though,

00:19:13.520 is that y'all are so unfazed by it,

00:19:15.240 because you're used to it,

00:19:16.320 unfortunately,

00:19:16.660 but also, like,

00:19:18.360 I feel like women are so different 1.00

00:19:21.120 in the way they handle shit like that. 0.99

00:19:22.680 Like, they're like, 0.95

00:19:23.140 ah, that doesn't bother me,

00:19:24.040 because I don't need to prove myself to you.

00:19:26.120 Sorry.

00:19:26.560 I'm over it.

00:19:27.380 Like, it's not a big deal.

00:19:28.960 Do y'all ever,

00:19:29.360 anyone measure you?

00:19:30.900 Not really, I feel like.

00:19:31.840 I mean,

00:19:32.080 I'm 5'11",

00:19:32.820 so it's like,

00:19:33.840 people come up to me and,

00:19:35.280 like,

00:19:35.720 Well, then you probably have men 1.00

00:19:36.720 be like,

00:19:37.140 oh, I'm like 6'2",

00:19:38.080 and then,

00:19:38.380 It's like their same height as me.

00:19:39.840 I'm not 6'2".

00:19:41.140 Exactly.

00:19:43.260 Yeah,

00:19:43.640 because I'm 6 feet,

00:19:44.420 so sometimes men will be like,

00:19:46.040 oh, I'm like 6'2",

00:19:47.600 6'3",

00:19:48.080 and I'm like,

00:19:48.660 I'm looking down at your scalp.

00:19:49.880 Like,

00:19:50.200 I don't think so.

00:19:51.160 Yeah.

00:19:51.680 I'm going to go ahead

00:19:52.400 and lean towards now.

00:19:53.520 Then I start telling people,

00:19:54.560 I'm like,

00:19:54.760 I'm like 5'8",

00:19:55.680 and they're shorter than me.

00:19:56.900 So then I'm like,

00:19:57.600 so you're probably like 5'6".

00:19:59.320 That's actually a skill of mine.

00:20:01.080 And I can guess a man's height,

00:20:02.560 like,

00:20:03.160 from a picture and nothing else.

00:20:04.520 Really?

00:20:04.700 What's that about?

00:20:05.660 I think it's just my intense desire

00:20:07.680 to hurt their feelings.

00:20:08.740 Oh, my God.

00:20:10.440 I could smell height.

00:20:11.680 Like,

00:20:11.800 I literally could look at a picture

00:20:12.780 and be like,

00:20:13.100 wow, like 5'8".

00:20:13.960 And I'm always right.

00:20:15.000 Like,

00:20:15.220 I never miss.

00:20:16.180 What a skill to have.

00:20:16.880 All,

00:20:17.200 just strictly dubs on the board.

00:20:19.180 Literally.

00:20:19.700 That's my favorite part

00:20:20.360 about seeing WNBA players in person

00:20:22.740 is like,

00:20:23.340 they're all very tall

00:20:25.060 for the most part.

00:20:25.840 They're super,

00:20:26.340 super tall.

00:20:27.340 So when men see them, 0.76

00:20:28.180 they're like,

00:20:28.940 Right.

00:20:29.640 Well,

00:20:30.020 whatever, 1.00

00:20:30.620 bitch. 1.00

00:20:30.900 I don't care. 1.00

00:20:32.000 If I didn't blow my knee out

00:20:33.380 in high school,

00:20:34.260 that could have been me.

00:20:35.500 They love that one.

00:20:36.660 They love high school.

00:20:38.360 Don't get them started

00:20:39.220 on high school.

00:20:40.320 What's been the coolest part

00:20:42.440 of your journey so far

00:20:44.020 playing basketball?

00:20:44.740 Obviously,

00:20:45.040 y'all still have some time

00:20:45.920 in school,

00:20:46.520 so you got some time

00:20:47.420 to work up to the W,

00:20:48.480 but what has been

00:20:50.080 the coolest thing

00:20:50.880 that's come out

00:20:51.380 of your career so far?

00:20:52.860 Probably just like

00:20:53.560 some incredible experiences

00:20:55.160 that I've been able

00:20:56.480 to have at such a young age.

00:20:57.600 I mean,

00:20:57.880 like,

00:20:58.600 Jen and I talk about,

00:20:59.160 like,

00:20:59.260 we've traveled a ton

00:21:00.340 for USA Basketball.

00:21:01.600 I got to see

00:21:02.180 all over the world,

00:21:05.200 whether it's like...

00:21:05.600 Yeah,

00:21:05.700 how was that?

00:21:06.660 It's cool.

00:21:07.360 It's like,

00:21:07.660 we went to Hungary

00:21:08.920 and we went to Chile,

00:21:10.660 yeah,

00:21:10.980 and then,

00:21:12.080 yeah,

00:21:12.400 just like,

00:21:12.800 been to Spain

00:21:13.900 for USA Basketball,

00:21:14.760 just seeing,

00:21:15.160 like,

00:21:15.240 different cultures

00:21:15.880 and being,

00:21:16.480 like,

00:21:17.020 in parts of the world

00:21:17.680 that,

00:21:17.980 like,

00:21:18.060 you might not go to otherwise.

00:21:19.040 that has been,

00:21:19.780 like,

00:21:19.900 such an incredible experience

00:21:20.940 because it's like,

00:21:21.600 you know,

00:21:22.160 we're able to do

00:21:22.660 these opportunities

00:21:23.260 and see these things

00:21:24.400 just because of basketball.

00:21:25.780 Yeah,

00:21:25.940 totally.

00:21:26.600 So it just makes me

00:21:27.140 so grateful for the game.

00:21:28.440 Yeah.

00:21:28.720 Period.

00:21:29.240 Definitely.

00:21:29.680 Even,

00:21:29.980 like,

00:21:30.060 when we went to Chile,

00:21:31.120 like,

00:21:31.880 it was crazy

00:21:32.500 because they lived

00:21:33.900 in,

00:21:34.240 like,

00:21:34.520 such a,

00:21:35.380 like,

00:21:35.940 if it was in America,

00:21:36.800 it'd be poverty.

00:21:37.720 Like,

00:21:37.900 but they were so happy

00:21:39.360 to just be alive

00:21:40.800 and living

00:21:41.280 and going to their

00:21:42.300 day-to-day things.

00:21:43.220 Yeah.

00:21:43.660 I think,

00:21:44.180 like,

00:21:44.300 stuff like that

00:21:44.860 makes you just,

00:21:45.640 you know,

00:21:46.040 be grateful for everything

00:21:46.920 that you have.

00:21:47.660 Totally.

00:21:48.020 It's so beautiful to see

00:21:49.360 because USA,

00:21:50.980 like,

00:21:51.240 anywhere,

00:21:51.820 like,

00:21:52.340 basketball,

00:21:53.080 sports,

00:21:53.560 it's like,

00:21:54.260 picture,

00:21:54.820 autograph,

00:21:55.260 picture,

00:21:55.580 autograph,

00:21:55.960 picture,

00:21:56.200 autograph,

00:21:56.660 security.

00:21:57.360 Like,

00:21:57.500 it gets crazy.

00:21:59.200 So it's pretty cool. 0.99

00:22:00.060 Damn. 0.99

00:22:00.500 I think for me, 0.99

00:22:01.460 though,

00:22:01.700 I think just the people

00:22:02.540 that I've met,

00:22:03.340 like,

00:22:04.180 most of my friends,

00:22:05.080 probably all of my friends,

00:22:06.140 like,

00:22:06.780 literally,

00:22:07.160 I played basketball with me

00:22:08.240 and we've just made

00:22:09.100 so many connections

00:22:09.960 and friendships

00:22:10.580 that I feel like

00:22:11.120 will always just be there

00:22:13.080 because of it.

00:22:14.640 And networking,

00:22:16.320 also,

00:22:16.760 too,

00:22:17.000 like,

00:22:17.300 there's so many,

00:22:18.500 like,

00:22:19.660 broadcast,

00:22:20.220 if I want to go broadcast,

00:22:21.140 if I want to go do anything

00:22:22.320 after basketball,

00:22:23.520 there's always somebody

00:22:24.500 I can go talk to

00:22:25.180 because I bounce that ball.

00:22:27.160 Yeah,

00:22:27.500 totally.

00:22:28.220 And now that they,

00:22:29.340 you're able now

00:22:30.380 to,

00:22:30.700 like,

00:22:30.960 market yourself

00:22:31.580 as,

00:22:32.040 like,

00:22:32.220 a person and,

00:22:33.360 yeah,

00:22:33.820 a brand and be an athlete

00:22:35.280 at the same time,

00:22:35.940 that must be a huge weight

00:22:37.900 off your shoulders,

00:22:38.860 too.

00:22:39.140 Oh, yeah.

00:22:39.420 Especially because

00:22:40.220 college athletes are,

00:22:41.800 like,

00:22:42.020 essentially employees

00:22:43.160 of the school.

00:22:44.020 Like,

00:22:44.160 y'all are literally

00:22:44.720 working for the school

00:22:45.620 and making the school

00:22:46.200 a lot of money

00:22:46.680 and bringing a lot

00:22:47.220 of attention to the school. 0.96

00:22:48.440 So goddamn right, 0.96

00:22:49.780 you gotta, 0.94

00:22:50.400 next year it's gonna get crazy.

00:22:51.480 Yeah,

00:22:51.660 I can only imagine,

00:22:52.500 like,

00:22:52.660 your season upcoming

00:22:53.480 this year,

00:22:54.060 there's probably,

00:22:54.460 your games are probably 0.98

00:22:55.160 gonna go fucking 0.99

00:22:56.040 the noodles. 1.00

00:22:56.900 We should have

00:22:57.500 in attendance.

00:22:58.460 Yeah,

00:22:58.900 two sellouts

00:22:59.600 at Poly. 1.00

00:23:00.720 Damn, 0.99

00:23:01.180 that's cool. 0.99

00:23:01.740 Yeah.

00:23:01.960 South Carolina.

00:23:02.760 And USC.

00:23:04.320 And last year,

00:23:05.060 I think we had our first

00:23:05.640 sellout in,

00:23:06.520 like,

00:23:06.780 history.

00:23:07.520 Oh,

00:23:07.920 T.

00:23:08.480 So,

00:23:08.820 have two,

00:23:09.520 like,

00:23:10.080 SC was a sellout.

00:23:11.240 So when we have,

00:23:12.080 like,

00:23:12.200 to have three in two years,

00:23:14.640 like,

00:23:14.900 it would be crazy.

00:23:15.680 Wait,

00:23:15.880 did y'all play SC and SC too?

00:23:17.320 Yeah,

00:23:17.760 that was a sellout,

00:23:18.780 so.

00:23:19.540 Ooh,

00:23:19.980 very cool.

00:23:20.960 The USC,

00:23:21.940 wait,

00:23:22.620 is it South Carolina?

00:23:23.680 Is that what you're saying?

00:23:24.180 Already sold out this year?

00:23:25.500 Mm-hmm.

00:23:25.840 I don't think it's already

00:23:26.500 sold out.

00:23:26.800 It's gonna be sold out.

00:23:27.900 It has to be,

00:23:29.000 yeah.

00:23:29.120 They're coming.

00:23:29.820 I was gonna say,

00:23:30.460 that's the only school

00:23:31.400 I've ever done,

00:23:32.140 like,

00:23:32.240 a talk at,

00:23:33.120 which I didn't,

00:23:33.960 I didn't realize at the time.

00:23:35.200 I was like,

00:23:35.460 oh,

00:23:35.600 this is the school

00:23:36.140 that has the kick-ass 0.96

00:23:37.040 women's basketball team.

00:23:38.180 I,

00:23:38.440 like,

00:23:38.460 didn't realize it at the time. 0.97

00:23:39.880 There ain't shit over there. 0.98

00:23:41.340 Bro, 0.98

00:23:41.620 South Carolina.

00:23:42.220 That is the smallest

00:23:43.200 little town in the world.

00:23:45.000 It looks like a fake town.

00:23:46.120 I felt like I was in,

00:23:46.920 like, 0.98

00:23:47.100 The Sims or some shit. 0.78

00:23:48.260 And that's why they're 38 and 0 0.95

00:23:49.760 because they're nothing up to do,

00:23:51.400 but besides playing basketball,

00:23:53.100 literally.

00:23:53.920 playing basketball,

00:23:55.080 go Gamecocks.

00:23:56.360 I literally,

00:23:56.900 I was,

00:23:57.380 like,

00:23:57.600 so blown away by how small

00:23:59.780 everything was.

00:24:00.720 There was,

00:24:01.120 like,

00:24:01.280 we landed at,

00:24:02.240 like,

00:24:02.380 8 p.m.

00:24:02.980 and there was one restaurant

00:24:04.380 and it was only open

00:24:05.100 for,

00:24:05.340 like,

00:24:05.400 20 more minutes.

00:24:06.360 I was like, 1.00

00:24:06.800 what the fuck? 1.00

00:24:07.800 I was like, 1.00

00:24:08.160 I don't,

00:24:08.500 no wonder they're so good.

00:24:09.640 You're right.

00:24:10.140 They're locked in. 0.98

00:24:10.700 They ain't got shit to do over there. 1.00

00:24:11.840 They're locked in. 0.98

00:24:12.840 And that was the only airport

00:24:13.640 I've ever been to

00:24:14.340 where everybody was really nice.

00:24:16.640 Everybody was stoned.

00:24:17.560 Everyone's like,

00:24:18.000 and how are you today?

00:24:19.340 Normally I get berated 0.99

00:24:20.460 at the fucking airport. 1.00

00:24:21.440 Everybody's in a bad mood. 1.00

00:24:22.500 LAX,

00:24:23.120 you're not gonna have a good day

00:24:24.340 with them at all.

00:24:25.080 What are your guys' goals

00:24:28.400 as far as,

00:24:29.160 like,

00:24:29.260 are y'all looking towards the W?

00:24:30.760 Is that something

00:24:31.140 you're aiming for,

00:24:32.180 for sure?

00:24:33.100 For sure.

00:24:33.620 Yeah.

00:24:33.740 Definitely.

00:24:34.260 Without a doubt.

00:24:35.060 That's just always been a goal.

00:24:37.000 Like,

00:24:37.140 even out of a picture of me,

00:24:38.400 like,

00:24:38.720 Lil Janiah, 0.75

00:24:39.580 like,

00:24:39.880 WNBA player.

00:24:41.100 Oh,

00:24:41.560 cute.

00:24:41.860 You know what I'm saying?

00:24:42.980 I just think

00:24:43.560 being a professional

00:24:44.780 and just waking up

00:24:46.180 playing basketball

00:24:46.860 and not worrying about school

00:24:48.600 is a dream.

00:24:50.800 Not worrying about school.

00:24:52.060 Not worrying about school.

00:24:53.040 It's a dream.

00:24:53.580 You know,

00:24:53.780 when school's not tied to it,

00:24:54.900 I'm in.

00:24:55.460 Right.

00:24:56.660 Can't wait.

00:24:57.880 And I'm getting paid.

00:24:58.900 I know.

00:24:59.320 It's hard.

00:24:59.720 It's hard,

00:25:00.340 I feel like,

00:25:00.860 to be a student athlete,

00:25:01.960 especially when y'all are,

00:25:03.280 like,

00:25:04.020 so incredibly busy

00:25:05.140 all the time.

00:25:06.020 Like,

00:25:06.520 y'all work your asses off. 0.97

00:25:07.960 I commend you.

00:25:08.820 Thank you.

00:25:09.320 Some people really don't understand,

00:25:10.300 so I appreciate that.

00:25:11.740 It's hard.

00:25:12.660 Yeah,

00:25:12.860 practice it.

00:25:13.440 Female athletes, 1.00

00:25:14.780 like,

00:25:15.060 statistically,

00:25:15.760 female athletes are always, 1.00

00:25:17.120 they always do very well in school,

00:25:18.860 especially compared to male athletes.

00:25:20.460 Like,

00:25:21.120 they make honor roll,

00:25:22.120 they take more classes,

00:25:23.720 they sometimes hold jobs

00:25:24.880 outside of it,

00:25:25.620 so,

00:25:25.880 like, 1.00

00:25:26.700 y'all are kicking ass. 0.99

00:25:27.720 Thank you. 0.95

00:25:28.140 I appreciate y'all

00:25:29.160 still on the grind.

00:25:31.100 Well,

00:25:31.240 like I said,

00:25:31.840 the boys,

00:25:33.040 they get that one year

00:25:33.960 and they be going to the league

00:25:34.920 to get millions.

00:25:36.060 Yeah,

00:25:36.380 they're like,

00:25:36.720 I'm out.

00:25:37.260 See ya.

00:25:37.560 We gotta get a degree.

00:25:38.760 We gotta get a degree.

00:25:39.860 Focus in.

00:25:40.780 Right,

00:25:41.080 it's only a couple spots

00:25:42.060 in the dub,

00:25:42.960 you know what I'm saying?

00:25:44.100 So,

00:25:44.380 yeah.

00:25:45.420 Gotta be how we live.

00:25:46.700 I'm honestly really glad,

00:25:48.660 too,

00:25:48.820 that,

00:25:49.040 like,

00:25:49.200 so many people

00:25:49.780 are being exposed

00:25:50.560 to women's basketball

00:25:51.520 for so many reasons,

00:25:53.360 but most especially

00:25:53.960 because I feel like

00:25:55.600 the NBA and any,

00:25:57.040 like,

00:25:57.280 a lot of NBA players

00:25:58.360 are so,

00:25:59.620 can be so supportive

00:26:00.760 of women's basketball players.

00:26:02.740 That's what makes

00:26:03.160 the least sense to me

00:26:04.140 when I see men

00:26:04.860 being so hypercritical

00:26:07.240 and misogynistic

00:26:07.900 towards women's basketball players

00:26:09.300 because I'm like,

00:26:10.420 your fave athlete loves her. 1.00

00:26:12.600 So what the fuck 0.99

00:26:13.420 are we talking about? 0.99

00:26:14.540 I'm like,

00:26:14.880 they literally personally

00:26:15.840 endorse these women

00:26:16.760 and talk about how badass they are

00:26:18.540 and then men are like, 0.97

00:26:19.860 but I bet I could shoot 0.97

00:26:21.280 more threes than her 1.00

00:26:22.160 like on the fucking couch at home. 1.00

00:26:23.780 Like, 1.00

00:26:23.900 what are we talking about?

00:26:25.020 Yeah.

00:26:25.440 What are we discussing?

00:26:26.460 I think that's crazy,

00:26:27.240 too.

00:26:27.420 I think one person

00:26:28.220 that really endorsed us a lot,

00:26:29.620 well,

00:26:29.780 he went to UCLA as well,

00:26:30.780 but Russell,

00:26:31.320 like,

00:26:31.720 he always shows so much love,

00:26:33.220 him and his wife.

00:26:33.980 Yeah.

00:26:34.480 They show so much love

00:26:35.460 and support.

00:26:36.180 So I just want to say

00:26:36.780 thank you.

00:26:37.240 if you guys watch this.

00:26:38.840 Yeah.

00:26:39.400 Even when I went to the

00:26:40.520 All-Star game,

00:26:41.160 I saw,

00:26:41.600 like,

00:26:42.180 Kyler Murray was there.

00:26:43.480 Yep.

00:26:44.020 Shannon Sharp was there.

00:26:45.180 Quarterback.

00:26:45.540 Oh, yeah.

00:26:46.020 For the Arizona Cardinals.

00:26:47.500 Yeah.

00:26:47.800 And Shannon Sharp was there,

00:26:49.240 which he's like a fan,

00:26:50.940 too,

00:26:51.180 of the WNBA.

00:26:52.480 Like,

00:26:52.780 there's a lot of famous men

00:26:53.800 there just sitting.

00:26:54.580 Yep.

00:26:55.160 Courtside.

00:26:55.600 I don't know if y'all know

00:26:56.300 Jason Sudeikis.

00:26:57.460 Yeah.

00:26:57.860 He's a huge.

00:26:58.600 He's a huge WNBA famous

00:27:00.580 white guy.

00:27:01.860 I'm trying to think of him.

00:27:02.840 I'm trying to think of him.

00:27:03.520 The show.

00:27:04.740 Ted Lasso.

00:27:05.140 Ted Lasso.

00:27:05.780 That's what it is. 1.00

00:27:06.620 You know that shit. 1.00

00:27:08.540 You're so me. 1.00

00:27:09.700 Do you watch TV a lot?

00:27:11.920 Don't.

00:27:12.400 No.

00:27:12.860 Me.

00:27:13.380 I'm going to the PS5.

00:27:14.440 Playing the game.

00:27:15.220 Are you playing NCAA?

00:27:16.580 Yes.

00:27:16.980 Oh, my God.

00:27:17.420 I have to play it so bad.

00:27:18.880 You play?

00:27:19.880 Hell, yeah.

00:27:20.600 What do you play?

00:27:21.620 Well, hold on.

00:27:22.300 What's your console?

00:27:22.940 What console do you have?

00:27:23.820 PS5.

00:27:24.240 Okay, go ahead.

00:27:24.760 Don't look at me like I'm an 0.99

00:27:25.800 Xbox bitch. 1.00

00:27:26.280 I wasn't making sure. 0.99

00:27:26.540 Just making sure.

00:27:27.160 Don't you dare.

00:27:27.940 Janiya, please.

00:27:28.780 Don't insult me like that.

00:27:29.720 You think I'm an Xbox 360 girl?

00:27:31.300 That's where you were at.

00:27:34.400 Obviously, a PS5.

00:27:35.280 Obviously.

00:27:35.760 Okay, good.

00:27:36.180 Yeah, my boyfriend and I just

00:27:37.240 bought NCAA, and he started

00:27:39.100 playing already, and I'm jealous.

00:27:40.440 Oh, yeah.

00:27:40.780 It's an addiction.

00:27:41.700 It has to be.

00:27:42.460 Have you played?

00:27:43.380 No.

00:27:43.760 Do you play any games?

00:27:44.300 I only play Call of Duty.

00:27:45.980 Gee, nice.

00:27:48.120 Are you good?

00:27:48.600 Yep, B5.

00:27:49.100 Okay, good, good.

00:27:50.000 I'm getting there.

00:27:50.780 I'm getting there.

00:27:51.340 Trying to work on my game.

00:27:52.500 I started really locking in

00:27:54.040 on Call of Duty for a while,

00:27:55.360 but then I got bored,

00:27:56.160 so then I was like,

00:27:56.920 but I can't play unless I'm good,

00:27:58.760 so that's why I really need to.

00:27:59.860 You know what I mean?

00:28:00.420 It gets hard.

00:28:01.740 Yeah.

00:28:02.080 Like, what game modes?

00:28:04.860 Call of Duty.

00:28:05.580 Just team deathmatch, like,

00:28:07.440 Warzone.

00:28:07.740 I did, yeah, I did Warzone

00:28:09.260 the most when I initially was playing.

00:28:11.940 Warzone's hard.

00:28:13.000 Yeah, I know,

00:28:14.200 and then I was like,

00:28:14.900 I gotta be really good,

00:28:15.960 especially when I hear 1.00

00:28:16.920 shit talky little white kids 1.00

00:28:18.420 on there. 1.00

00:28:18.720 I was like, I gotta be good.

00:28:19.700 Them little squeakers. 0.99

00:28:20.380 I was like, I gotta get really good.

00:28:22.820 I gotta get better.

00:28:23.800 I gotta put my hours in,

00:28:25.260 and then it starts taking over my life.

00:28:27.280 Takes time, though.

00:28:27.840 Literally, you take so much time

00:28:29.500 just to get good in that game,

00:28:31.020 like, for real.

00:28:32.120 But, okay, back to college football.

00:28:33.540 Yeah.

00:28:34.000 You play football?

00:28:34.740 You play Madden?

00:28:35.480 Yeah, I've played Madden for,

00:28:36.780 like, my boyfriend plays Madden

00:28:37.960 more than I do,

00:28:38.540 but I did play for a while,

00:28:39.660 but he's really good at it.

00:28:41.200 2K.

00:28:42.400 No, I never played 2K.

00:28:44.080 I would love to make

00:28:45.000 the little guy in there, though.

00:28:46.200 The little guy?

00:28:46.520 One time I saw a tweet that said,

00:28:47.940 like, men are so homophobic, 0.90

00:28:49.840 but then they'll spend 0.89

00:28:51.220 hours, like, nine hours straight

00:28:53.540 building their dream man in 2K.

00:28:55.160 No, literally.

00:28:56.880 Literally.

00:28:57.560 My guy is so cute.

00:28:57.820 Like, it looks nothing like them.

00:28:59.460 He's so cute.

00:29:00.360 I have a crush on him.

00:29:02.400 Bad.

00:29:03.860 Bad.

00:29:04.220 I know.

00:29:04.580 Like, it looks nothing like him,

00:29:06.600 and it's, like,

00:29:07.200 just their dream man.

00:29:08.500 They'll just customize him in 2K.

00:29:10.040 I can't wait to build my guy

00:29:12.720 in NCAA.

00:29:14.360 Oh, yeah.

00:29:15.100 They did a good job this year.

00:29:17.140 There's a couple cute faces.

00:29:19.500 Do you watch TV shows,

00:29:20.820 anything like that?

00:29:21.640 I watch a little bit of TV.

00:29:22.860 I watch more sports than TV.

00:29:24.260 Really?

00:29:24.780 Hearing they all get into a show.

00:29:25.880 Other than basketball,

00:29:26.660 do you have a favorite sport to watch?

00:29:27.820 Football, yeah.

00:29:29.040 T.

00:29:29.280 I watch a ton of football.

00:29:30.140 T.

00:29:30.500 Who's your favorite team?

00:29:32.540 Do you have one?

00:29:33.160 Um, I mean, I like the Commanders,

00:29:36.500 because that's where I'm from, D.C.

00:29:38.300 Oh, yeah.

00:29:38.860 Baltimore.

00:29:39.880 And they're good.

00:29:40.560 Love.

00:29:41.140 Yeah, but I just love watching football, too.

00:29:43.000 T, yeah.

00:29:43.620 Like, my dad played in the NFL

00:29:45.180 for a spell for a little bit.

00:29:47.220 I worked for the NFL for a little bit also.

00:29:50.200 Got fired.

00:29:51.200 Oh.

00:29:52.220 It's okay.

00:29:52.820 On to my word.

00:29:53.660 Why are you looking too low?

00:29:55.600 Yeah, one thing they were not counting on

00:29:57.280 is me doing this.

00:29:58.680 Hey, you hear.

00:29:59.600 When they fired me,

00:30:00.560 they did not think they were ever

00:30:01.460 going to see me again.

00:30:02.360 Unfortunately, they have.

00:30:03.620 So, I know I did the Pro Bowl last year

00:30:05.920 for the NFL, which was pretty fun.

00:30:08.500 But they really didn't want me there.

00:30:10.900 They fought tooth and nail

00:30:12.380 to try and get me removed.

00:30:13.480 Oh, well.

00:30:13.940 Too late.

00:30:14.540 She's there.

00:30:14.860 Still got to go.

00:30:15.880 But, yeah, I'm a big football fan.

00:30:17.680 Even when I went to the All-Star game

00:30:19.480 this weekend, I was thinking,

00:30:20.820 I was like, I love sports.

00:30:22.520 I, like, forgot how much I love

00:30:23.900 watching live sports, 0.97

00:30:24.880 because I've been being a dickhead 0.95

00:30:26.460 on the internet for a while now, 0.93

00:30:27.420 so I haven't really gotten

00:30:28.220 to watch any games live.

00:30:29.660 But when I watched it, 0.97

00:30:30.460 I was like, this is fucking awesome. 0.96

00:30:31.640 I love basketball. 0.98

00:30:33.600 More specifically, watching women play.

00:30:35.600 My women's team in college, too,

00:30:37.220 was pretty good also.

00:30:38.260 They were way better than my men's team.

00:30:40.400 I went to the University of Hawaii.

00:30:42.100 Oh, good.

00:30:42.700 Yeah, so my women's basketball team there

00:30:44.280 was way better than my men's team,

00:30:45.980 but the men's team always had

00:30:47.060 more people there,

00:30:47.920 which made no sense to me.

00:30:49.220 Yeah.

00:30:49.400 Always went further than them

00:30:50.880 in March Madness.

00:30:51.720 No one cared.

00:30:52.560 Like, that's the type of show

00:30:53.360 where I'm like,

00:30:53.840 you guys just don't get it.

00:30:54.860 Yeah.

00:30:55.140 Y'all don't get it.

00:30:56.100 Yeah. 1.00

00:30:56.660 Like, my boyfriend had a fucking 0.99

00:30:58.180 blast at the game. 0.99

00:30:59.780 Really?

00:31:00.240 He was geeking and tweaking

00:31:02.060 that whole game.

00:31:02.860 He was like, yeah!

00:31:04.500 And he was like, okay, okay.

00:31:06.440 I was like, relax.

00:31:07.900 Hey, calm down.

00:31:08.780 She can't hear you.

00:31:09.520 I say that,

00:31:12.160 but every time Arike made something,

00:31:13.360 I was like, yeah.

00:31:16.460 Arike was going crazy.

00:31:17.600 I was getting swept up

00:31:18.900 in the fandom of it all.

00:31:20.820 I bet watching it live

00:31:21.840 was even crazier.

00:31:22.900 Oh, my God. 0.99

00:31:23.300 It was so fucking fun. 0.96

00:31:25.160 Yeah, I was there, too. 0.97

00:31:26.180 And it was...

00:31:26.800 Oh, you were there, too?

00:31:27.480 Yeah.

00:31:27.800 Oh, T, you probably

00:31:28.520 had a better seat than me.

00:31:30.680 It was hella hot there, though,

00:31:32.360 in Arizona.

00:31:33.400 Girl, that heat was sinful.

00:31:37.040 I felt like I was, like,

00:31:38.220 walking through mud.

00:31:40.080 I was like,

00:31:40.440 why do I feel like

00:31:40.860 I'm pushing beaded curtains

00:31:42.080 every time I felt like

00:31:43.400 I was swimming through it?

00:31:44.980 How hot was it?

00:31:45.480 What did it say?

00:31:46.100 It's like 105?

00:31:47.480 Yeah, it was like...

00:31:48.360 It was like when we landed...

00:31:50.020 What time did we land?

00:31:51.240 We landed at, like,

00:31:52.680 10 or 11 in the morning

00:31:53.720 and it was, like,

00:31:54.280 109 outside.

00:31:55.000 Yeah, I'm like,

00:31:55.520 all right.

00:31:56.280 Cannot be outside.

00:31:57.360 Yeah, nasty heat.

00:31:59.280 The people that sent me,

00:32:01.160 they were like,

00:32:01.680 um, we called the car,

00:32:02.920 but, like,

00:32:03.300 if you guys want to walk,

00:32:04.260 you can't,

00:32:04.540 because we were, like,

00:32:05.000 two blocks.

00:32:05.560 I was like,

00:32:05.800 oh, no, I'll wait.

00:32:06.900 Yeah.

00:32:08.220 When we first landed,

00:32:09.480 we were like,

00:32:10.140 let's go to a store or something

00:32:11.480 and my boyfriend was mapping it

00:32:13.300 and I'm like,

00:32:13.660 well, do you know

00:32:14.160 which direction to go?

00:32:15.840 Because it's hot outside.

00:32:16.980 And he goes,

00:32:17.960 yeah.

00:32:18.340 And then we go outside,

00:32:19.300 we're standing in the heat

00:32:20.480 and I go,

00:32:21.220 okay, which way?

00:32:21.920 He goes,

00:32:22.300 mm, I think it's...

00:32:23.660 I just turn around

00:32:24.160 and walk for the time.

00:32:25.320 I'm not going to play with you.

00:32:26.260 Yeah.

00:32:27.100 I'm not.

00:32:27.620 You're playing in my face

00:32:28.440 and I don't like it.

00:32:29.020 I was like,

00:32:29.320 that's literally why 0.99

00:32:30.240 I fucking said, 0.99

00:32:31.320 find out before we leave the air. 1.00

00:32:33.200 Find out before we leave

00:32:34.140 the air conditioning

00:32:34.860 because I'm not a fan of that.

00:32:37.380 But y'all,

00:32:38.520 you grew up in D.C.,

00:32:39.200 you grew up in Atlanta.

00:32:40.760 So it's hot there.

00:32:41.800 Bro, no.

00:32:42.240 And humid now.

00:32:43.000 Texas?

00:32:44.620 Texas?

00:32:46.340 It's hot.

00:32:48.040 I feel like Texas and Arizona

00:32:49.600 might be like the same type of...

00:32:50.840 Yeah, it's like dry heat.

00:32:51.760 Dry heat, bro.

00:32:52.780 Because out there,

00:32:53.760 I'd be on my scooter,

00:32:55.040 I'm looking for a breeze.

00:32:57.840 It's hot air.

00:32:59.120 Just hitting you over it.

00:33:00.400 Yeah, I'm like,

00:33:01.020 no, I can't get down with that.

00:33:03.220 No, no, no, no.

00:33:03.740 It's just humid in D.C.

00:33:04.900 In D.C., it's so humid.

00:33:06.120 Like, this summer,

00:33:07.160 honestly, it might be worse

00:33:08.060 than, like, Arizona

00:33:08.580 because it's like,

00:33:09.440 it's 90, 95 degrees,

00:33:11.360 whatever,

00:33:11.580 but it's, like, humid.

00:33:12.520 So when you step outside,

00:33:13.400 you're sweating.

00:33:14.640 Immediately.

00:33:15.540 It's like buggy.

00:33:16.040 Yeah.

00:33:16.320 Yeah, like Florida.

00:33:18.600 Or Nashville.

00:33:20.420 I went to Nashville

00:33:21.140 for the first time,

00:33:22.080 like, a couple years ago.

00:33:24.220 Very,

00:33:24.560 as soon as I landed,

00:33:25.300 I'm like,

00:33:26.360 this air feels racist.

00:33:27.540 Because it is.

00:33:30.740 And it was.

00:33:31.960 But when I landed,

00:33:33.140 it was, like,

00:33:33.420 two in the morning

00:33:34.140 and it was 102

00:33:35.700 and it was, like,

00:33:36.880 80% humidity.

00:33:38.000 Yeah, no.

00:33:38.520 No, I'm good.

00:33:39.320 Is it that hot?

00:33:40.700 Apparently.

00:33:41.360 When I thought we were outside

00:33:42.340 because their airport is so big,

00:33:44.160 I was like,

00:33:44.600 oh, I thought we were outside already.

00:33:46.240 Then when we actually went outside,

00:33:47.640 I was like,

00:33:48.220 oh.

00:33:49.040 It felt like I was standing

00:33:49.640 in front of a heater.

00:33:50.920 I was so annoyed about it

00:33:52.240 that I asked the driver,

00:33:53.020 I'm like,

00:33:53.220 is it always like this here?

00:33:54.320 Or, like,

00:33:54.700 you guys just choose 1.00

00:33:55.500 to live in this shit? 1.00

00:33:56.440 This is crazy. 1.00

00:33:58.100 And he was like,

00:33:58.600 yeah,

00:33:59.120 it's been pretty bad

00:34:00.360 the last few summers.

00:34:01.720 102 at 2 a.m.

00:34:03.460 It's crazy.

00:34:04.200 In the middle of the night?

00:34:05.080 Right,

00:34:05.340 the sun's not even out.

00:34:06.440 Yeah, I know.

00:34:07.600 Like, huh?

00:34:08.240 What's crazy, too,

00:34:09.220 is when we flew there,

00:34:10.400 we flew southwest,

00:34:12.160 which is fine,

00:34:13.220 but, like,

00:34:13.940 that's okay.

00:34:15.460 But they had no air

00:34:16.880 on that plane.

00:34:17.740 Oh, hell no.

00:34:18.560 And I,

00:34:19.900 the way I was,

00:34:21.280 no air, 0.65

00:34:22.220 I was sweating my ass off 1.00

00:34:24.260 in my fucking chair, 0.99

00:34:25.720 and I'm sitting in between 1.00

00:34:26.700 my sister and my boyfriend.

00:34:27.620 My boyfriend's a big dude,

00:34:28.700 like,

00:34:28.900 he's a 6'4",

00:34:30.160 like,

00:34:30.740 Samoan dude,

00:34:31.260 so he's wide.

00:34:32.700 And so I'm sitting,

00:34:33.660 and I'm like,

00:34:34.140 I'm sweating so bad,

00:34:35.440 I'm in such a bad mood.

00:34:37.080 I went into the bathroom,

00:34:38.500 and I literally just

00:34:39.680 pulled my pants down

00:34:40.400 just so I could cool off.

00:34:41.720 I didn't even have to go.

00:34:43.240 That was terrible.

00:34:44.320 It was terrible. 1.00

00:34:45.220 Although the shit 1.00

00:34:45.880 you're having me do 1.00

00:34:46.780 because I am so hot

00:34:48.340 is crazy.

00:34:48.960 Let me pull my air.

00:34:51.500 I didn't know my sister

00:34:52.520 was like,

00:34:52.880 what were you doing in there?

00:34:53.660 And I was like,

00:34:54.560 I just went to pull

00:34:55.180 my pants down,

00:34:55.700 dude,

00:34:55.780 because I was so hot.

00:34:56.900 I was standing there

00:34:57.800 like Winnie the Pooh, 1.00

00:34:58.620 bitch, 1.00

00:34:58.940 just with my pants 1.00

00:34:59.860 around my ankles,

00:35:00.500 just trying to cool off.

00:35:01.860 I was just trying to get

00:35:02.400 some breeze up there. 1.00

00:35:03.840 Shit. 1.00

00:35:04.400 It's hot. 1.00

00:35:05.500 Fuck. 1.00

00:35:06.080 I'm like, 1.00

00:35:06.400 speaking of pants down,

00:35:07.640 okay,

00:35:07.960 here's a perfect transition

00:35:09.420 into our topic.

00:35:10.580 Okay,

00:35:10.840 so our topic,

00:35:11.540 we're going to talk about

00:35:12.580 unpacking why

00:35:13.940 some men on the internet

00:35:14.660 get weird about

00:35:15.520 dating female athletes,

00:35:17.000 right?

00:35:18.420 Obviously,

00:35:18.980 you're already

00:35:19.400 wifed up. 1.00

00:35:20.400 Gay. 0.98

00:35:20.760 Yeah. 1.00

00:35:21.860 On top of that gay, 1.00

00:35:23.660 obviously. 0.98

00:35:24.760 Are you taken?

00:35:25.820 No.

00:35:26.360 Okay,

00:35:26.600 you're single.

00:35:27.300 Yeah.

00:35:27.660 Okay,

00:35:27.940 single Pringle.

00:35:28.580 Well,

00:35:28.700 then maybe you can relate

00:35:30.140 to this and then

00:35:30.700 we could just all

00:35:31.480 laugh about it.

00:35:32.120 Right.

00:35:32.840 I'm like,

00:35:33.240 I'm taken too,

00:35:33.960 but I'll make fun of men

00:35:34.720 regardless. 0.99

00:35:35.400 I don't give a fuck. 0.99

00:35:36.040 Love that. 0.99

00:35:36.880 I was like,

00:35:37.480 also,

00:35:37.940 I tell this to all my

00:35:39.620 friends who are on the

00:35:41.920 show at all,

00:35:42.860 like if they are single,

00:35:43.620 I'm like,

00:35:43.800 if you are single,

00:35:44.420 like plug it.

00:35:45.500 Like you've had someone

00:35:46.080 you want,

00:35:47.040 let them know.

00:35:48.100 You have a crush?

00:35:52.180 I'm like,

00:35:52.740 get bold,

00:35:53.340 get brave.

00:35:54.860 Girl,

00:35:55.340 she don't hush that mouth. 0.89

00:36:00.360 She don't hush that mouth. 0.89

00:36:01.780 All right,

00:36:02.080 so this first video

00:36:03.260 is,

00:36:04.220 in this video,

00:36:04.980 a female tennis player,

00:36:06.000 she's saying there's

00:36:06.700 seriously nothing more

00:36:08.060 annoying than when

00:36:08.560 you're talking to a guy

00:36:10.240 and tell him you're an

00:36:11.240 athlete and the first

00:36:11.920 thing he says is,

00:36:12.620 oh,

00:36:12.680 I bet I can beat you

00:36:13.660 and she talks about

00:36:14.860 how she's had countless

00:36:15.740 conversations with guys

00:36:16.560 like that where they

00:36:17.580 tell her they think

00:36:18.260 they could beat her 0.97

00:36:19.020 in her sport

00:36:20.000 and as a way

00:36:21.200 of hitting on her.

00:36:22.280 So it's kind of

00:36:22.640 the same thing

00:36:23.060 as the love and 1.00

00:36:23.720 basketball shit. 0.99

00:36:24.560 It's like, 1.00

00:36:24.800 knock it off. 0.61

00:36:25.500 Right.

00:36:25.800 Hey.

00:36:26.420 Tennis?

00:36:26.660 Tennis?

00:36:27.260 Yeah,

00:36:27.700 but hers is tennis. 1.00

00:36:28.980 Tennis is hard.

00:36:30.540 Girl,

00:36:31.300 that,

00:36:31.820 I have never had,

00:36:33.120 first of all,

00:36:33.500 the worst calf cramps

00:36:34.340 in my life

00:36:34.980 and second of all, 0.99

00:36:36.020 ran so fucking much, 0.99

00:36:37.280 I was like, 0.98

00:36:37.620 am I even an athlete at all?

00:36:39.120 Sideways,

00:36:39.560 like sideways running

00:36:40.420 that much?

00:36:41.060 Yeah,

00:36:41.380 like I played tennis

00:36:42.220 for fun,

00:36:43.120 like,

00:36:43.680 well,

00:36:43.960 it wasn't fun,

00:36:44.940 hence the reason

00:36:45.360 I haven't played again,

00:36:46.560 but I was like,

00:36:47.300 this is exhausting. 1.00

00:36:48.600 I can't fucking do this shit. 1.00

00:36:50.500 I'm like, 1.00

00:36:51.040 I thought for sure.

00:36:52.060 Yeah,

00:36:52.240 it's definitely not a sport

00:36:53.000 you just pick up

00:36:53.680 and you're going to beat

00:36:54.140 someone and he plays,

00:36:55.260 like not at all.

00:36:55.920 Yeah,

00:36:56.140 did you ever see that,

00:36:57.480 I think it was,

00:36:58.500 I can't remember

00:36:58.980 if it was Venus or Serena,

00:37:00.080 but one of them,

00:37:01.000 they like,

00:37:02.020 they asked these men

00:37:02.880 who thought they could beat her 1.00

00:37:04.200 in tennis

00:37:05.360 and then,

00:37:06.120 I want to say it was Serena

00:37:07.460 and then,

00:37:08.840 there was like five or six dudes

00:37:10.260 and they were like,

00:37:10.800 yeah,

00:37:11.000 I think if I like,

00:37:12.060 you know,

00:37:12.880 she kind of gave it my all,

00:37:14.440 I could beat her 0.95

00:37:15.060 and then they brought them in

00:37:16.620 to come play tennis,

00:37:17.560 but she was there too

00:37:18.720 and so she played

00:37:20.080 each of them individually

00:37:21.000 and she was giving it

00:37:21.980 maybe half a percent 1.00

00:37:23.200 and she was fucking 1.00

00:37:24.080 douche, 1.00

00:37:24.940 douche, 0.63

00:37:25.160 like over and over again

00:37:25.940 and then they're running

00:37:27.480 all over the place,

00:37:28.000 they're sweaty,

00:37:28.700 they're pink

00:37:29.320 because most of them

00:37:29.960 are white

00:37:30.500 and then she played

00:37:33.100 all of them

00:37:33.480 at the same time

00:37:34.160 and she was like laughing 0.57

00:37:35.720 and just hitting

00:37:36.500 every single wall.

00:37:37.120 She's having a dandy time.

00:37:38.360 didn't break a sweat once,

00:37:40.180 she's just giggling

00:37:40.880 and going back and forth

00:37:42.520 and I was like,

00:37:43.100 aren't you humiliated?

00:37:45.060 Like that guy,

00:37:46.120 that girl on TikTok

00:37:47.000 who said her,

00:37:48.020 she's a track star,

00:37:49.000 like she runs,

00:37:49.840 she runs sprints in college

00:37:51.620 and her like boyfriend's friend 1.00

00:37:53.860 used to talk shit to her 0.99

00:37:54.880 all the time 1.00

00:37:55.140 and be like,

00:37:55.520 oh,

00:37:55.680 I could probably beat you,

00:37:56.580 I could probably beat you

00:37:57.260 so then she raced him 1.00

00:37:58.780 and then she fuck, 1.00

00:37:59.980 oh damn near lapped him 1.00

00:38:01.260 but then when she did it 0.98

00:38:02.560 she invited all his friends

00:38:03.680 and family and hers

00:38:04.680 so they could all watch

00:38:06.400 from the bucket stands.

00:38:07.700 I love that.

00:38:08.640 No track though,

00:38:09.580 them track,

00:38:10.100 them track,

00:38:10.640 like D1 track.

00:38:11.800 Girl,

00:38:12.260 you're out of your mind.

00:38:12.900 Don't you have to race them? 1.00

00:38:14.640 Are you fucking dumb? 1.00

00:38:16.280 Yeah, 1.00

00:38:16.620 you know,

00:38:17.180 they do this for a living.

00:38:18.740 Yeah, 0.99

00:38:19.040 when I was getting shit, 0.97

00:38:20.660 like, 0.99

00:38:20.780 because when I defended the WNBA

00:38:22.200 and like female basketball players 1.00

00:38:23.320 I had so many men

00:38:24.480 under 5'8",

00:38:25.260 getting really mad at me

00:38:26.460 and they were like,

00:38:27.720 well, 1.00

00:38:27.940 who the fuck are you 1.00

00:38:29.080 to comment? 1.00

00:38:30.120 I'm like,

00:38:30.460 I'm just as qualified as you,

00:38:31.740 not at all.

00:38:32.700 Like, 1.00

00:38:33.100 you don't see me saying that shit. 1.00

00:38:34.680 I'm not sitting here saying 1.00

00:38:35.680 I could beat Caitlin Clark

00:38:36.680 in a three point shoot.

00:38:38.040 I'm not the one saying 1.00

00:38:39.300 that shit you are 1.00

00:38:40.480 because I know I couldn't. 1.00

00:38:41.920 Right,

00:38:42.040 I'm so surprised 0.52

00:38:42.960 that how much you hate men 0.98

00:38:44.120 that you're not gay. 0.97

00:38:45.320 Like, 0.51

00:38:45.520 I'm so surprised.

00:38:46.100 I get that a lot,

00:38:46.840 believe it or not.

00:38:47.940 So like,

00:38:48.800 did it not,

00:38:49.680 did you try?

00:38:51.120 I did actually try,

00:38:52.200 yeah.

00:38:52.300 It just wasn't for you.

00:38:53.060 In college I tried

00:38:53.860 because I thought for sure.

00:38:55.680 You was gay? 0.84

00:38:56.240 Yeah.

00:38:56.600 I was like, 0.99

00:38:57.320 I hate men. 0.99

00:38:57.620 Yeah, 0.99

00:38:57.800 I was like,

00:38:58.080 they disgust me, 0.97

00:38:58.820 everything about them. 0.99

00:38:59.480 Right.

00:38:59.860 Hate it,

00:39:00.320 hate it, 1.00

00:39:00.600 hate it, 0.99

00:39:00.780 hate it. 0.51

00:39:01.060 And I love women so much. 1.00

00:39:02.380 I like love women. 1.00

00:39:03.260 I think they're so beautiful

00:39:04.580 and amazing

00:39:04.980 and talented and smart.

00:39:06.220 I think all of those things.

00:39:07.480 And then I tried

00:39:08.080 and it didn't work.

00:39:08.920 And I was like, 1.00

00:39:09.460 fuck. 1.00

00:39:10.640 Damn it. 1.00

00:39:11.420 So I'm not going to talk 1.00

00:39:12.020 about your relationship,

00:39:12.540 but forbid,

00:39:14.320 forbid y'all break up.

00:39:16.220 I think you should try again.

00:39:18.340 Give it the old college try.

00:39:20.140 I'll sample it

00:39:20.940 one more time.

00:39:21.720 For sure.

00:39:21.940 Think about me

00:39:22.420 and be like,

00:39:22.720 wait,

00:39:23.160 this is what she told me to do.

00:39:25.280 Then I'm going to credit you.

00:39:26.920 Period.

00:39:27.420 Period.

00:39:27.800 Down.

00:39:28.040 Are you dating?

00:39:30.020 Is it hard to date

00:39:30.640 as an athlete, Kiki?

00:39:32.680 It's a little bit hard.

00:39:33.880 Yeah.

00:39:34.380 Just like,

00:39:35.440 you know,

00:39:35.720 people's intentions,

00:39:36.920 all that type of stuff.

00:39:38.940 But like,

00:39:40.300 it's cool to be single too

00:39:41.300 at the same time,

00:39:41.980 you know what I mean?

00:39:42.280 T.

00:39:43.160 Especially.

00:39:43.860 Especially at this point

00:39:44.200 in my life,

00:39:44.700 you know?

00:39:45.040 Yeah.

00:39:46.020 Do you find yourself

00:39:46.820 gravitating towards athletes?

00:39:48.340 Definitely.

00:39:49.040 Yeah.

00:39:49.160 That's like all the people

00:39:49.720 that I'm around,

00:39:50.220 like all the guys

00:39:50.700 that I'm around.

00:39:51.040 Yeah.

00:39:51.840 But at the same time,

00:39:52.560 it's like,

00:39:53.080 what would it be like

00:39:54.840 to be with a normal dude?

00:39:56.660 You never know.

00:39:58.540 But no,

00:39:59.140 like I,

00:39:59.840 all the people

00:40:00.260 that I talk to

00:40:00.780 and stuff

00:40:01.100 have been athletes.

00:40:02.180 Yeah.

00:40:02.800 That was,

00:40:03.540 I feel like in college,

00:40:05.200 I was like,

00:40:05.980 maybe I'll try dating

00:40:06.840 a different kind of guy.

00:40:08.360 Wrong.

00:40:08.860 Yeah.

00:40:09.200 I like can't not date

00:40:10.300 an athlete.

00:40:10.800 Like my boyfriend now is,

00:40:13.240 he played college football

00:40:14.420 like for a long ass time. 0.79

00:40:16.240 So he like was an athlete

00:40:17.620 his whole life.

00:40:18.400 And so his biggest ick 0.92

00:40:20.460 is someone unathletic. 0.90

00:40:23.140 That's like his biggest ick. 0.51

00:40:24.620 Like he's like,

00:40:25.040 and it's not a mean way.

00:40:25.900 I just like,

00:40:26.900 I can't do it.

00:40:28.080 Like I can't date someone

00:40:29.300 that's unathletic.

00:40:30.480 Like one time we were,

00:40:31.380 I forget where we were.

00:40:32.220 We were like in New York

00:40:32.880 or something

00:40:33.280 and I was getting out of a car

00:40:34.700 and I,

00:40:35.360 it had been raining.

00:40:36.340 So I like stepped on water

00:40:37.360 and I slipped,

00:40:38.340 but I caught myself.

00:40:39.380 Period.

00:40:39.800 And so then I was like, 1.00

00:40:40.840 you see that shit? 1.00

00:40:41.740 Athlete. 1.00

00:40:42.280 Right?

00:40:42.640 And we were like laughing.

00:40:43.500 And then my boyfriend

00:40:44.060 told me later,

00:40:44.540 he goes,

00:40:44.940 honestly,

00:40:45.360 I probably would have gotten

00:40:46.200 the ick if you fell.

00:40:47.620 Probably would have gotten the ick.

00:40:49.160 I was like,

00:40:49.620 all right,

00:40:49.940 well I didn't.

00:40:50.660 So don't worry about it.

00:40:52.160 Come on.

00:40:52.720 Yeah.

00:40:53.000 I'm not new to this.

00:40:55.160 I'm true to this.

00:40:55.920 Kiki,

00:40:56.240 if it wasn't,

00:40:57.140 if it's not an athlete,

00:40:58.220 like what,

00:40:58.760 business guy?

00:41:01.280 An artist.

00:41:02.200 Right,

00:41:02.620 artist.

00:41:02.940 I don't know if I can do artist.

00:41:04.160 You just gotta have that money.

00:41:05.360 Yeah.

00:41:08.180 Probably business.

00:41:09.140 Yeah.

00:41:09.580 Yeah.

00:41:10.240 Probably business.

00:41:11.240 Right,

00:41:11.620 yeah.

00:41:12.020 Yeah,

00:41:12.400 I feel that though,

00:41:13.440 especially for y'all,

00:41:14.760 like you guys have been athletes

00:41:15.660 your whole life.

00:41:16.260 So it's like,

00:41:16.960 it almost feels like sometimes

00:41:17.900 you don't have anything in common

00:41:19.120 with people that aren't athletes.

00:41:20.400 Yeah,

00:41:20.500 exactly.

00:41:21.020 So you're like,

00:41:21.300 what do we talk about?

00:41:22.260 Yeah,

00:41:22.620 what do we talk about?

00:41:24.380 No.

00:41:25.000 When I stopped playing sports

00:41:26.060 and went to college

00:41:26.660 just like as a normie,

00:41:27.700 as a civilian,

00:41:28.480 that's what I call myself.

00:41:29.240 I'm like,

00:41:29.400 I went as a civilian.

00:41:30.240 NARP.

00:41:30.740 Yeah,

00:41:31.040 NARP,

00:41:31.380 yeah.

00:41:31.820 Yeah,

00:41:32.040 when I went,

00:41:32.740 I truly was so like,

00:41:34.820 well,

00:41:34.940 I guess I have to learn

00:41:35.640 how to make friends

00:41:36.240 that are not athletes.

00:41:37.100 Like,

00:41:37.520 I just gravitate towards them

00:41:39.160 so naturally.

00:41:39.800 So I was like,

00:41:40.600 okay,

00:41:40.900 well,

00:41:41.620 what do you like to do

00:41:42.620 in your spare time?

00:41:44.400 I never had spare time.

00:41:46.020 Like,

00:41:46.160 all throughout high school,

00:41:46.800 I never had spare time.

00:41:48.020 What sport you used to play?

00:41:49.280 I played soccer,

00:41:50.120 actually.

00:41:50.540 Really?

00:41:51.040 What position?

00:41:51.340 My whole life.

00:41:52.480 I was a center defender.

00:41:53.900 Okay.

00:41:54.560 On the left.

00:41:55.440 All right.

00:41:55.940 Yeah.

00:41:56.700 I played,

00:41:57.700 basketball was one of the few

00:41:58.960 that I wasn't very good at,

00:42:00.340 shockingly.

00:42:01.440 Like,

00:42:01.640 my dad was my coach

00:42:02.920 when I was young.

00:42:04.160 Like,

00:42:04.300 me and my sister

00:42:04.720 were on the same team.

00:42:06.260 And my sister is 5'4",

00:42:07.740 by the way,

00:42:08.180 so don't know how that works.

00:42:09.560 But like,

00:42:09.940 I was 5'4",

00:42:11.600 when I was 10,

00:42:12.420 so I got big really early.

00:42:14.900 And so my dad's like,

00:42:15.900 my dad's favorite sport

00:42:17.160 is basketball.

00:42:18.200 So he's like,

00:42:19.040 loved basketball his whole life

00:42:19.920 and he's like,

00:42:20.300 okay,

00:42:20.520 this is my basketball girl.

00:42:22.580 Like,

00:42:22.680 this is her.

00:42:23.060 Not quite.

00:42:23.620 And I went and I,

00:42:24.500 I was not very good.

00:42:25.620 I wasn't good so much,

00:42:27.180 so my dad didn't even play me.

00:42:28.380 Oh. 0.74

00:42:28.620 I hated you.

00:42:30.500 No,

00:42:30.700 my dad didn't even play me.

00:42:31.900 My dad would put me in the last,

00:42:33.100 like,

00:42:33.220 two minutes of the fourth quarter.

00:42:34.580 I'm so sorry.

00:42:35.160 I was like, 0.98

00:42:35.640 damn, 1.00

00:42:36.080 cold world. 1.00

00:42:37.780 I'm so sorry.

00:42:38.760 And I was,

00:42:39.220 honestly,

00:42:39.540 I think it's because

00:42:40.040 there was so much running

00:42:41.040 that I was like,

00:42:41.860 like sprinting

00:42:42.700 that I was kind of like,

00:42:43.680 hey,

00:42:43.960 I hate this.

00:42:44.860 Yeah.

00:42:45.360 And my dad used to-

00:42:46.140 You're soccer.

00:42:46.620 I know,

00:42:47.140 that's all my-

00:42:47.700 You get to walk though.

00:42:48.840 Yeah,

00:42:49.120 well,

00:42:49.500 it's like,

00:42:49.940 it's like,

00:42:50.400 almost like cross country running

00:42:51.820 versus like sprinting.

00:42:53.120 Yeah.

00:42:53.600 And I just was like,

00:42:54.660 ah,

00:42:55.540 I don't want to do it.

00:42:56.840 Like,

00:42:57.060 I would be like,

00:42:57.640 ah,

00:42:58.260 I just don't care.

00:42:59.080 And then my dad was like,

00:42:59.920 forget it.

00:43:00.840 So that was mainly soccer,

00:43:02.500 but then I played volleyball

00:43:03.400 in high school.

00:43:04.220 Volleyball's so fun.

00:43:05.060 I loved volleyball.

00:43:06.440 That was like my vacation sport.

00:43:08.020 Yeah.

00:43:08.420 Because soccer was my job,

00:43:09.760 so then volleyball,

00:43:10.700 I was like,

00:43:10.980 this is fun.

00:43:11.700 Yeah.

00:43:11.800 When did you play volleyball?

00:43:13.000 I played outside hitter.

00:43:14.340 Oh,

00:43:14.560 you was,

00:43:14.900 you was,

00:43:15.380 yeah.

00:43:15.740 Okay.

00:43:16.100 I was,

00:43:16.300 again, 1.00

00:43:16.800 a big bitch, 1.00

00:43:17.340 so I got to be right there. 1.00

00:43:18.440 Not big enough to be a middle, 0.99

00:43:19.520 but big enough to be outside.

00:43:21.280 Yeah.

00:43:21.920 What about y'all?

00:43:22.460 Did y'all play any other sports

00:43:23.420 in,

00:43:23.700 in high school or anything?

00:43:25.280 Anything different?

00:43:27.160 I did soccer.

00:43:28.020 I did lacrosse actually.

00:43:29.360 Ooh,

00:43:29.580 how was that?

00:43:30.960 Um,

00:43:31.500 I loved it actually.

00:43:32.800 Really?

00:43:33.460 Like,

00:43:34.400 is it white?

00:43:35.500 Yes.

00:43:35.980 Yeah.

00:43:37.020 Um,

00:43:37.340 but if you're fast,

00:43:38.140 like all you do is really run down

00:43:39.540 and then like women's lacrosse, 0.96

00:43:40.780 they can't hit you like that.

00:43:42.260 They hit you with the thing.

00:43:43.140 Well,

00:43:43.280 they can hit you,

00:43:43.760 like they can hit your stick,

00:43:44.960 but like they can't like,

00:43:45.900 come in your space really

00:43:47.240 and like hit your body and stuff. 0.92

00:43:48.620 So I would just run by 0.96

00:43:49.460 and like,

00:43:50.240 they can't really do that much.

00:43:51.780 They can't catch you?

00:43:52.900 Yeah.

00:43:53.380 No,

00:43:53.580 not really.

00:43:54.220 Um,

00:43:55.040 it was fun actually.

00:43:55.820 It was really fun.

00:43:56.480 Lacrosse is like what?

00:43:57.400 It's like,

00:43:58.340 it's like a sport.

00:43:59.560 It's like,

00:44:00.040 it's like soccer.

00:44:01.200 It's like hockey.

00:44:02.660 It's like,

00:44:03.200 it's kind of like hockey and soccer.

00:44:04.780 Yeah,

00:44:05.020 it's like soccer,

00:44:06.220 like the movement,

00:44:06.920 like the movement of it.

00:44:08.320 Um,

00:44:08.780 and yeah,

00:44:09.100 like hockey.

00:44:09.680 I never really did hockey,

00:44:10.840 but like watching.

00:44:12.180 Yeah.

00:44:12.380 Yeah.

00:44:12.940 Do you ever play any other sports?

00:44:14.820 No.

00:44:15.300 I ran track.

00:44:16.640 Oh,

00:44:16.940 nice.

00:44:17.400 I ran track,

00:44:18.120 but it was like,

00:44:20.100 outside is not really fun.

00:44:22.620 It's not for you.

00:44:23.660 I love the air conditioning

00:44:24.920 and basketball.

00:44:26.300 So that's what I stayed.

00:44:27.700 So yeah,

00:44:28.380 no.

00:44:28.800 What runs did you do in track?

00:44:30.300 So I did the four by one.

00:44:33.440 T.

00:44:33.920 The two.

00:44:35.560 And then I did it.

00:44:36.920 The 400 is a round once,

00:44:38.400 right?

00:44:38.480 Yeah.

00:44:38.960 Yeah,

00:44:39.080 I did that one.

00:44:39.740 The four by four?

00:44:41.120 Or just a 400?

00:44:41.960 Yeah.

00:44:42.440 Oh, 1.00

00:44:42.880 damn. 1.00

00:44:43.420 I didn't win that much. 1.00

00:44:45.240 What?

00:44:46.360 Oh,

00:44:47.340 I did shot put and disc it.

00:44:48.900 So did I in high school.

00:44:50.800 That was fun.

00:44:51.580 That was fun.

00:44:52.180 That was fun.

00:44:52.700 My mom was a very like,

00:44:53.880 you have to be in a sport every season.

00:44:55.640 Uh-huh.

00:44:56.060 So,

00:44:56.560 and I played travel too.

00:44:57.780 So I would,

00:44:58.620 I did volleyball in the fall.

00:45:00.120 Then I did soccer in the winter.

00:45:01.360 And then in the spring,

00:45:02.220 I was like,

00:45:02.920 she is,

00:45:03.200 we got to join track.

00:45:03.980 And I'm like, 0.99

00:45:04.340 I don't want to fucking run. 0.97

00:45:05.900 And so I was, 0.98

00:45:07.040 my sister was like,

00:45:07.680 I think I'm going to do throwing.

00:45:08.640 I was like,

00:45:08.920 okay,

00:45:09.100 me too.

00:45:09.780 Because then I don't have to run.

00:45:11.340 Me too,

00:45:11.740 me too,

00:45:12.040 me too.

00:45:12.420 Yeah.

00:45:13.020 Me too,

00:45:13.340 me too.

00:45:13.620 Same,

00:45:13.800 same,

00:45:13.920 same,

00:45:14.040 same,

00:45:14.140 same.

00:45:14.480 And then we were both on varsity together.

00:45:16.920 And our coach used to get so annoyed at us.

00:45:20.100 Cause like,

00:45:21.380 I just like,

00:45:21.860 I like being funny for like, 1.00

00:45:23.120 that's like my shit. 0.99

00:45:23.880 I like to make jokes. 1.00

00:45:25.020 Both of us do.

00:45:25.880 So we would just make each other laugh the whole time.

00:45:27.740 And he's like,

00:45:28.160 separate.

00:45:28.700 I need to separate you too. 0.97

00:45:29.660 But I didn't give a fuck about throwing like at all. 0.51

00:45:32.340 I just wanted to letter, 0.95

00:45:33.420 which I did.

00:45:34.040 And then I just,

00:45:34.760 Oh,

00:45:34.920 letters like the jacket.

00:45:35.820 Yeah.

00:45:36.100 Like you get the letter for varsity.

00:45:37.660 I was like,

00:45:37.960 okay,

00:45:38.180 lettered.

00:45:38.800 Cool.

00:45:39.380 And then the next one,

00:45:40.380 I was like,

00:45:41.320 I just like stay busy.

00:45:42.500 And my mom doesn't get mad at me for not being in a sport.

00:45:44.980 And so like, 0.97

00:45:45.640 I would dick around, 0.99

00:45:46.660 but I would do just enough to stay on varsity. 0.92

00:45:49.580 And then whenever someone started getting a little too good on JV and they might replace me,

00:45:53.500 I was like,

00:45:53.840 Oh,

00:45:54.120 I got a clock back in. 1.00

00:45:57.660 Shit. 1.00

00:45:58.220 So then I had to start trying hard. 1.00

00:46:00.720 Just throwing this hard.

00:46:01.540 Oh,

00:46:02.240 you can't.

00:46:04.700 It's like my sister did throwing with me too.

00:46:07.340 And she,

00:46:08.180 uh,

00:46:08.920 set like a school record for discus.

00:46:11.020 Oh,

00:46:11.380 and then she got like an offer to like a small school for discus.

00:46:15.060 And she only threw for like three months. 0.99

00:46:17.680 And then they were like,

00:46:18.900 you should take it.

00:46:19.500 You should take it.

00:46:19.800 She was like,

00:46:20.240 nah,

00:46:20.700 not for me.

00:46:22.560 I hate that idea.

00:46:24.100 She's like,

00:46:24.720 nah,

00:46:25.020 I'm good.

00:46:25.500 I'm good.

00:46:26.240 I cannot do.

00:46:27.240 Yeah.

00:46:27.500 Running is not.

00:46:28.820 Running is crazy.

00:46:30.320 Yeah.

00:46:30.580 I'm living.

00:46:30.980 Cause like also too,

00:46:31.840 like I have track athletes,

00:46:32.980 friends,

00:46:33.360 like back at Texas A&M.

00:46:34.600 Yeah.

00:46:34.900 Like even if they're sprinters,

00:46:36.100 they're running like 800s in practice.

00:46:38.100 Like they're running,

00:46:38.980 they're running the whole time in practice.

00:46:41.020 And they look great.

00:46:42.140 They look amazing.

00:46:43.160 They just,

00:46:43.520 I can't relate.

00:46:44.980 I'm like,

00:46:45.560 Oh,

00:46:45.920 give that to me without having to run.

00:46:48.980 Give that to me without having to run.

00:46:51.200 Yeah.

00:46:51.300 Their bodies are beautiful. 0.94

00:46:52.240 They look fucking awesome. 0.90

00:46:53.860 Okay. 0.98

00:46:54.220 Wait,

00:46:54.440 let's get back to this tennis video.

00:46:56.100 Okay.

00:46:56.240 So this one,

00:46:56.940 we'll just totally,

00:46:58.180 that's okay.

00:47:00.040 Uh,

00:47:00.280 these are just comments on that video that says,

00:47:02.000 give me a week of practice and I can be any female athlete at their sport. 0.99

00:47:06.160 Damn. 0.99

00:47:06.400 Only a week. 1.00

00:47:07.340 A week is crazy.

00:47:08.220 That's confident.

00:47:09.640 I wish I could see.

00:47:11.980 Hold on.

00:47:13.160 He has a picture of Troy Bolton as his profile picture.

00:47:17.100 So that's not giving,

00:47:18.280 it's not very promising.

00:47:19.520 Red flag.

00:47:20.560 Them having Troy Bolton be a basketball star and he's like,

00:47:24.020 he's five,

00:47:25.080 six.

00:47:26.180 Like why is Troy Bolton in your profile picture?

00:47:30.400 No shame.

00:47:31.360 Well,

00:47:31.620 basketball,

00:47:32.060 basketball team,

00:47:32.900 obviously.

00:47:34.560 And Troy,

00:47:35.320 and Troy was doodled in,

00:47:36.700 in,

00:47:37.040 uh,

00:47:37.380 in high school musical.

00:47:38.460 He was terrible.

00:47:39.620 He was quite bad.

00:47:41.240 Do y'all ever watch basketball in movies and like cringe at it?

00:47:44.940 Yeah.

00:47:45.360 Yeah.

00:47:45.700 How bad it is.

00:47:46.340 The acting too.

00:47:47.160 Have y'all seen,

00:47:48.000 um,

00:47:48.360 the remake of white man can't jump with Jack Harlow?

00:47:50.840 Yeah.

00:47:51.960 It was actually really good.

00:47:53.280 I'm shocked,

00:47:54.000 but he was,

00:47:54.460 he was actually really good at the movie,

00:47:55.540 but like,

00:47:56.040 did you watch the basketball at all?

00:47:57.260 Did it make you cringe at all?

00:47:59.280 It's just the way they film and choreograph like sports.

00:48:01.880 I'm not trying to get a lot of shots to where it's like,

00:48:04.220 you can see the play of basketball.

00:48:06.800 It's like,

00:48:07.280 okay,

00:48:07.640 got right past some layup.

00:48:09.300 So unrealistic.

00:48:10.560 Yeah.

00:48:11.300 Give me cute.

00:48:11.960 I always think that with,

00:48:13.000 with professional athletes,

00:48:14.000 I'm like,

00:48:14.300 I wonder if they watch sports movies and think like,

00:48:17.360 that would never happen.

00:48:18.480 Or they look at how someone's built and you're like,

00:48:20.640 you're not an athlete.

00:48:22.060 You should not be out there.

00:48:22.760 You should not be out there.

00:48:25.320 Yeah.

00:48:25.480 You should not be playing basketball.

00:48:27.180 That's why even in high school musical,

00:48:28.800 like he was like five,

00:48:30.700 six,

00:48:31.980 like five,

00:48:32.540 six,

00:48:32.780 five,

00:48:33.000 seven.

00:48:33.220 I'm like in the NBA.

00:48:34.580 I don't know about that.

00:48:36.220 Right.

00:48:37.560 I don't know about that girl. 1.00

00:48:39.200 You're a top player.

00:48:40.300 I was like the guys,

00:48:41.560 the guys who mop the sweat are taller than that. 1.00

00:48:44.780 What the fuck? 0.99

00:48:45.800 Like, 1.00

00:48:46.000 and even then,

00:48:46.640 like he's being recruited by like all these huge D one schools.

00:48:49.720 I'm like,

00:48:50.520 no,

00:48:51.280 I don't know if I believe it.

00:48:53.240 She keeps singing.

00:48:55.520 I'd lean more towards the arts.

00:48:57.240 I would lean into that if I were you.

00:48:59.880 Okay.

00:49:00.280 This next one says,

00:49:01.060 I don't even play tennis and I beat D one girls at just anything or that guy's this color. 0.67

00:49:08.200 So they just be saying anything,

00:49:12.860 honestly.

00:49:13.140 This one says,

00:49:18.280 do the girls really think that they would beat a man? 1.00

00:49:20.460 Only exception is if they have zero athleticism.

00:49:23.360 I'm assuming men,

00:49:24.140 if they don't have,

00:49:25.440 well, 0.99

00:49:25.840 that's not true because men who are not athletic talk shit on women all the time who are athletes. 0.98

00:49:29.800 I don't really understand where they're coming from. 0.98

00:49:32.140 Like some men I'm like,

00:49:32.920 you couldn't even make varsity in high school.

00:49:34.460 What are we talking about?

00:49:35.360 JV down.

00:49:37.600 JV down.

00:49:38.880 It's like,

00:49:39.740 you're that guy who like gives the speech in the locker room.

00:49:42.120 Like,

00:49:42.300 come on guys.

00:49:43.440 We have to take this serious.

00:49:48.320 I was like,

00:49:48.960 you could never hang with athletes.

00:49:50.620 They would hurt your feelings before they even play you.

00:49:52.820 They would hurt your feelings.

00:49:53.720 Especially the guys.

00:49:56.240 And this next video,

00:49:57.660 this is in this video,

00:49:58.960 boyfriend and girlfriend,

00:49:59.700 bodybuilder duo,

00:50:00.500 both are posing in competition form while wearing formal clothes,

00:50:05.040 jokingly on their way to a date night with the captions.

00:50:07.640 Swole mates.

00:50:09.080 Men in the comments had a lot to say.

00:50:12.060 I'm assuming about the woman who's a bodybuilder. 1.00

00:50:14.320 Do you all know anything about bodybuilding?

00:50:15.820 I mean,

00:50:16.980 I know they,

00:50:18.000 they don't get periods.

00:50:19.380 That's all I know.

00:50:23.060 Yeah.

00:50:23.440 The men and the women. 0.97

00:50:24.300 Can you believe it?

00:50:27.120 I do know that.

00:50:28.340 Your body fat is so like low that they don't even get a period.

00:50:31.060 That's all I know.

00:50:31.680 That is that's very interesting that that's the only thing you know about

00:50:35.880 that.

00:50:37.720 Education.

00:50:38.080 Yeah,

00:50:38.400 they do.

00:50:41.140 Bodybuilding is so fascinating to me because they are truly torturing

00:50:45.980 themselves to the point that they compete.

00:50:49.020 Like they'll,

00:50:49.900 when they're in competition,

00:50:51.400 like prep,

00:50:52.220 like the week before their show,

00:50:54.100 they'll eat like 900 calories a day and they'll do like four hours of

00:50:58.940 cardio just to prep for the actual day.

00:51:01.620 They take water pills,

00:51:03.000 which like sucks all the water out of them so that they are as lean as

00:51:06.800 possible.

00:51:07.280 Like their muscles are just suctioned to their skin.

00:51:10.540 How much did I get paid?

00:51:11.660 Zero dollars and zero cents.

00:51:14.420 But they spend thousands to do it.

00:51:16.820 Like it costs a lot of money to bodybuild.

00:51:18.920 So like if you do make money,

00:51:20.860 you're at like Olympia level.

00:51:22.540 Like you're at the level where it's like one of eight in the world have ever

00:51:26.900 one kind of deal.

00:51:27.840 That's when you start making money.

00:51:29.140 But like,

00:51:29.540 but every other round before that,

00:51:32.260 zero dollars,

00:51:32.900 zero cents.

00:51:33.940 Honestly.

00:51:34.360 And it's funny is my dad did a bodybuilding competition for the first

00:51:37.000 time last year,

00:51:38.580 last year,

00:51:39.380 just to see if he could do it.

00:51:40.860 Like my dad was like,

00:51:41.760 I just want to see.

00:51:42.700 Cause my dad turned 50 and then was like,

00:51:45.580 my dad's six,

00:51:46.200 six.

00:51:46.420 He's a big dude.

00:51:47.000 So he was like,

00:51:47.560 I just want to see if I can do it.

00:51:48.820 So my dad essentially did it with like no help for like three,

00:51:52.720 four months.

00:51:53.240 Like he had towards the end,

00:51:54.440 he finally got a coach that was like able to work with him.

00:51:57.920 And my dad won like his whole thing.

00:52:00.760 And then he goes,

00:52:01.820 yeah,

00:52:02.060 I'm over it.

00:52:03.100 Yeah.

00:52:03.640 And I'm like an athlete,

00:52:05.160 like someone who made it and doesn't need to prove anything anymore.

00:52:09.320 And was like,

00:52:09.900 Oh,

00:52:10.000 I just want to see if I could.

00:52:11.180 And I did it.

00:52:11.940 Yeah.

00:52:12.120 Yeah.

00:52:12.440 I did it.

00:52:13.100 And I won period.

00:52:14.240 I feel like athletes are so confident like that.

00:52:16.300 They're just kind of like,

00:52:16.960 I just want to see.

00:52:17.940 Well,

00:52:18.140 it just depends on how much work you put in.

00:52:20.280 If you don't put no work in,

00:52:21.840 you don't get no results.

00:52:23.040 Exactly.

00:52:23.660 Work in.

00:52:24.440 No,

00:52:24.700 I can tell you not to sit.

00:52:25.880 Period.

00:52:26.540 Okay.

00:52:26.760 So on this one,

00:52:27.840 this one just says,

00:52:29.000 okay,

00:52:29.320 there's a point where when a woman works too much, 1.00

00:52:32.260 it starts to look too masculine.

00:52:34.200 I'm sure they say that about all female athletes, 1.00

00:52:36.300 any female athlete at all.

00:52:37.820 They're like too masculine.

00:52:39.200 I'm like,

00:52:40.080 okay,

00:52:40.360 well she, 0.88

00:52:41.220 first of all,

00:52:41.800 like sometimes I think like,

00:52:43.000 especially with WNBA players, 0.94

00:52:44.180 do you ever get hit on by men? 0.51

00:52:46.200 It's a look.

00:52:47.160 It's never,

00:52:48.220 uh,

00:52:48.600 like actually approach.

00:52:50.360 It's always like,

00:52:52.580 it's always like that.

00:52:55.420 Yeah.

00:52:56.140 It's a look.

00:52:56.860 And then you go,

00:52:58.100 right.

00:52:58.480 Get on my face. 0.95

00:52:58.880 I go grab my girlfriend and then grab her real quick. 1.00

00:53:01.660 Give her a kiss.

00:53:03.040 Stop looking.

00:53:03.920 I've talked to some of my friends who are athletes.

00:53:06.500 Uh,

00:53:06.820 they're like,

00:53:07.280 yeah,

00:53:07.560 that's weird.

00:53:08.340 Like,

00:53:08.700 and they're tall too. 1.00

00:53:10.220 Like women's basketball players are fucking tall. 1.00

00:53:12.500 And then one of my friends was telling me about it. 0.99

00:53:14.840 She's like,

00:53:15.160 yeah, 0.99

00:53:15.340 some guy fucking hit on me. 1.00

00:53:16.900 She's a masked lesbian. 1.00

00:53:18.080 Oh. 0.99

00:53:18.640 And she's a basketball player. 0.88

00:53:19.660 She's like,

00:53:20.040 yeah, 1.00

00:53:20.260 this guy fucking hit on me. 0.99

00:53:22.040 And I was so confused. 0.99

00:53:23.420 Cause like,

00:53:23.920 I was like,

00:53:24.220 did you tell him we're wearing the same outfit?

00:53:26.660 You're barking up the wrong tree. 1.00

00:53:28.460 Bitch, 1.00

00:53:28.880 we're dressed the same. 1.00

00:53:30.320 We both have a mullet.

00:53:31.440 Get out of my face. 0.99

00:53:33.120 What is that about?

00:53:35.460 What makes you think that she wants you?

00:53:38.440 She's taller than you.

00:53:39.580 And you're wearing the same size shoe.

00:53:41.360 Get out of her face. 1.00

00:53:43.300 I really want to ask a man about that for real though.

00:53:45.880 Cause like,

00:53:46.300 that's,

00:53:46.580 that's normal.

00:53:47.600 Like men, 0.96

00:53:48.260 men like think that masculine women that are lesbians are attractive. 1.00

00:53:53.520 I don't know like what that's about.

00:53:55.040 No shade. 0.91

00:53:55.560 I don't know if it's gay.

00:53:56.320 I don't know if it's like,

00:53:57.020 it's just confusion or something.

00:53:58.980 Maybe like they have a, 1.00

00:54:00.180 they have a vagina. 1.00

00:54:00.840 So like, 1.00

00:54:01.120 that's what it is.

00:54:01.920 Yeah.

00:54:02.440 Sometimes I think it's like a,

00:54:03.580 it's like a,

00:54:04.220 I could change her thing.

00:54:06.020 It's like an entitlement.

00:54:06.960 Like they're like,

00:54:07.600 Oh,

00:54:07.760 I could probably.

00:54:08.160 I wouldn't count on it.

00:54:11.520 So I was like,

00:54:12.340 y'all are dressed the same.

00:54:13.260 And he's asking for a number.

00:54:14.680 Scary.

00:54:15.320 And I'll give you a number to a therapist.

00:54:16.800 Get away from me.

00:54:18.080 Okay.

00:54:18.400 This one says,

00:54:19.000 if my girl was swole like that and looked like a man, 1.00

00:54:21.720 I would not date. 0.92

00:54:23.120 We'll see the,

00:54:23.900 the operative there is if,

00:54:25.580 which means you're single.

00:54:26.460 So you should worry about that.

00:54:28.920 Next comment.

00:54:30.580 She's strong,

00:54:31.400 but it makes her look less attractive. 0.81

00:54:32.940 Not going to lie.

00:54:34.340 Blah,

00:54:34.820 blah.

00:54:34.920 I bet.

00:54:36.380 Right.

00:54:36.780 I guarantee it.

00:54:37.820 Even like,

00:54:38.600 I mean,

00:54:39.140 I don't even,

00:54:39.960 sometimes I think too,

00:54:40.840 I'm like,

00:54:41.160 y'all just think because of how they think of women, 0.68

00:54:43.840 how they see women overall,

00:54:45.060 especially athletes.

00:54:45.960 Like,

00:54:46.680 I mean,

00:54:46.820 you think you're stronger than every woman. 0.94

00:54:48.560 You think you're bigger and more talented.

00:54:50.960 I can't imagine that kind of confidence.

00:54:53.400 Like I need that kind of delusion in my life sometimes.

00:54:55.660 That's just the internet though.

00:54:56.660 You know how in that they'd be lying.

00:54:58.120 Like they try to picture like their ego is like so much bigger than,

00:55:01.740 than it really is.

00:55:02.320 If you met them in person,

00:55:03.300 I bet they five,

00:55:04.380 two and hate their life.

00:55:06.600 All behind the keyboard.

00:55:07.960 Yeah.

00:55:08.280 For real.

00:55:08.800 Like they feel real brave behind the key.

00:55:10.960 Sometimes I'll,

00:55:11.560 I'll like a man will attack me and then I'll tell him like,

00:55:14.320 Hey,

00:55:14.420 send me a picture of what you look like.

00:55:15.660 I just want to see.

00:55:16.800 And then they're like,

00:55:17.640 what would that prove? 0.99

00:55:18.780 That you're ugly. 0.99

00:55:19.640 That's the only point I'm trying to prove. 0.99

00:55:21.020 I told the guy once like tweet,

00:55:23.780 send me a picture.

00:55:24.520 I want you to tweet a picture of you standing next to your mom's fridge.

00:55:26.660 I want to see how tall you are.

00:55:28.040 Just standing,

00:55:28.700 stand next to your mom's fridge.

00:55:29.560 I want to see.

00:55:30.260 He's like,

00:55:30.660 what would that prove? 1.00

00:55:31.460 You're a fat bitch. 1.00

00:55:32.280 That's what I thought. 1.00

00:55:33.640 Five,

00:55:34.000 four.

00:55:34.320 That's what I thought.

00:55:34.840 Where did this,

00:55:35.880 where did the hate from the men like originate though?

00:55:38.420 Like what really got you to the point where he was like,

00:55:41.500 like I hate them.

00:55:42.520 Me?

00:55:43.100 Yes.

00:55:43.680 Oh,

00:55:43.980 I don't know.

00:55:44.340 Have you ever hung out with one?

00:55:45.980 Right.

00:55:46.880 I think more than anything,

00:55:48.140 when I got older,

00:55:48.960 I just hated seeing how entitled they felt.

00:55:51.140 To women in general,

00:55:52.320 just like,

00:55:53.140 and I was like,

00:55:53.800 you know what?

00:55:54.460 No one else is going to do it.

00:55:55.420 So I'll do it.

00:55:55.760 I'll be mean to you.

00:55:56.520 Right.

00:55:57.060 Absolutely.

00:55:57.480 I'll be mean to you. 0.99

00:55:58.240 I'm so fucking mean to men all the time. 0.99

00:56:00.060 Sometimes people ask me, 0.99

00:56:00.720 they're like,

00:56:01.680 something happened that like just triggered you.

00:56:04.240 I was like,

00:56:04.640 no,

00:56:04.920 have you ever spent time with one?

00:56:06.740 They're infuriating.

00:56:08.760 Sometimes like I was at the gym like a few weeks ago and the gym I go to,

00:56:13.660 my boyfriend used to work at and I know all the people who work there.

00:56:16.120 So for the most part,

00:56:16.780 they leave me alone.

00:56:17.400 Like nobody bothers me.

00:56:18.260 Nobody asks me for pictures,

00:56:19.180 like nothing.

00:56:19.520 They just leave me alone,

00:56:20.780 which is really nice.

00:56:21.900 So like I went there and I can always tell when there's a new guy in there

00:56:25.060 because if it's a guy like that sees me by myself and just doesn't know who my

00:56:29.500 boyfriend is or anything,

00:56:30.620 he'll like approach me.

00:56:32.180 And this one guy was like,

00:56:33.340 my bad.

00:56:35.060 Don't want to interrupt.

00:56:35.840 Like he like tried to bump into me,

00:56:38.220 loving basketball,

00:56:39.180 trying to love and basketball me.

00:56:40.900 And then I was like,

00:56:41.580 what?

00:56:41.800 And then he was like,

00:56:43.600 don't want to ruin your workout.

00:56:45.140 You look real focused.

00:56:46.000 I was like,

00:56:46.480 you didn't.

00:56:47.020 And I just put my headphones back on.

00:56:48.260 I was in a bad mood the rest of the day.

00:56:50.020 I was in a bad mood the whole day.

00:56:52.140 Nothing happened,

00:56:53.260 but like I was just telling him like,

00:56:54.780 they just piss me off.

00:56:56.860 That was ill though.

00:56:57.920 That was icky though.

00:56:59.140 Like that was very icky.

00:57:00.000 No game.

00:57:01.580 No game.

00:57:02.400 No game.

00:57:03.100 I didn't mean to interrupt.

00:57:06.160 You didn't.

00:57:07.080 Excuse me.

00:57:08.900 Excuse me.

00:57:09.720 Yeah,

00:57:09.980 my,

00:57:10.220 I'm like the straightest face.

00:57:11.580 I was,

00:57:12.020 I was literally at a grocery store checking out and this guy was like asking me

00:57:16.580 too many questions.

00:57:17.480 You know,

00:57:17.660 when they check you out,

00:57:18.560 they're kind of like,

00:57:19.160 how's your day going?

00:57:19.840 Good.

00:57:20.500 Good.

00:57:21.400 That's it.

00:57:22.340 He's like,

00:57:22.960 and he's going slower and he goes,

00:57:24.600 so what are you up to now? 1.00

00:57:25.820 None of your fucking business. 1.00

00:57:28.140 First of all, 1.00

00:57:28.820 I was like,

00:57:30.780 nothing much.

00:57:31.720 He goes,

00:57:33.260 what'd you do today?

00:57:34.660 Girl,

00:57:36.020 if you don't ring up my mango and put it in there immediately.

00:57:40.200 And then he's like,

00:57:41.660 the last I go,

00:57:42.420 he goes,

00:57:42.720 what do you do for a living?

00:57:43.520 I said,

00:57:43.780 I just worked all day.

00:57:44.840 He goes,

00:57:45.080 what do you do for a living?

00:57:45.940 I'm like,

00:57:46.320 nothing interesting.

00:57:47.400 Cause I'm trying not to talk.

00:57:49.280 And then at the end he goes,

00:57:50.740 Hey,

00:57:50.980 well,

00:57:51.920 as long as you love what you do,

00:57:53.000 I guess it doesn't matter.

00:57:53.840 Right.

00:57:54.920 I'm going to, 0.97

00:57:55.460 pull out a gun, 1.00

00:57:57.300 put my fucking shit in that back. 1.00

00:57:58.760 Like the way I'm like, 1.00

00:57:59.400 if you ask me one more question, 1.00

00:58:00.820 I'm going to light this bitch up. 1.00

00:58:01.920 And that's just me being honest. 0.99

00:58:03.560 That's why I was like,

00:58:05.020 I guess bad mood the rest of the day.

00:58:07.280 You can't let them take you out your mood.

00:58:08.840 Okay.

00:58:09.520 It's true.

00:58:10.180 Don't let them take.

00:58:10.660 Cause that means they got,

00:58:11.800 give them power.

00:58:13.780 T,

00:58:15.060 T,

00:58:15.880 T.

00:58:16.460 Now I'm never going to get mad again.

00:58:17.700 Period.

00:58:17.880 Okay.

00:58:20.040 So wrap us.

00:58:21.300 I would love to know,

00:58:22.660 um,

00:58:23.540 what is y'all's best piece of advice for young women who are maybe wanting to play basketball and they see like how popular women's basketball is now.

00:58:32.340 And they like,

00:58:33.500 I,

00:58:33.700 maybe they're feeling nervous about it or maybe they're excited.

00:58:35.960 Like what would y'all say is your best piece of advice for young female athletes coming up?

00:58:40.460 I would say like be confident in whatever you do.

00:58:43.980 Um,

00:58:44.540 and like now we're at the point in,

00:58:46.580 in women's basketball and in this game where like, 1.00

00:58:48.840 um,

00:58:49.680 the popularity,

00:58:50.600 the growth of the game,

00:58:51.540 it's something that's a very accepted,

00:58:52.740 but I think like there's still,

00:58:53.980 you're still going to encounter opportunities where you like,

00:58:56.360 you get hate for playing basketball or like you feel some sort of like resistance to doing so.

00:59:00.400 But I think like be confident in that and know that like you have an army of people behind you.

00:59:05.960 And this game is only going to get better because you play it and because you grow this game.

00:59:10.200 Love.

00:59:10.920 Period.

00:59:11.800 I would,

00:59:12.240 I would say just to make sure you put the work in,

00:59:15.280 like always the work is going to show,

00:59:17.220 like no matter how little you think it is,

00:59:19.260 no matter how minute you think that little run you did for like,

00:59:23.160 you know,

00:59:23.600 for like two minutes,

00:59:24.480 two hours,

00:59:24.880 whatever,

00:59:25.320 like the work is going to always show,

00:59:26.940 always be consistent in what you do.

00:59:29.020 Have confidence in yourself.

00:59:30.560 Don't let anybody take that confidence from you and continue to believe in yourself.

00:59:34.080 And always give yourself models or like something just to reset and always give yourself affirmation.

00:59:40.260 I got self love on me.

00:59:41.500 I have,

00:59:41.840 I'm proud of you on me.
