00:00:59.940 What's something you miss doing before this happened? Because there are some things I miss.

00:01:04.940 I'll give you that. Drugs. Excuse me. Drugs. Oh, I still do that. Drugs in public.

00:01:10.580 Drugs in public. That's what I miss. Tea. Tea. It's just like rolling up at the park.

00:01:16.660 Just rolling up, being a fucking freak at the bar, or like making out with someone at the bar. 0.99

00:01:21.800 Oh, yeah. Or... I was gonna say the movies, but sure. 1.00

00:01:26.160 Movies. Or movies.

00:01:33.300 Hey, everyone, and welcome back to another episode of the Comment Section Show, starring me, your fave,

00:01:37.720 who cares about me. On to the guests. Today, we have one of the most highly requested and one of

00:01:42.180 the most iconic legends in music right now, the one and only Chapel Run.

00:01:45.680 Woo! Welcome to the show, Ms. Chapel. Thank you. You have been highly, highly requested.

00:01:53.000 Wow, really? Yeah, and since I run a dictatorship, I decide who comes. That's...

00:01:57.220 So I said, I already asked her. Next. Yep. On my desk. I had to immediately say yes.

00:02:01.680 Oh, my gosh. I'm so honored. I'm so glad to be here. I'm so happy to have you. You are on a

00:02:06.320 meteoric rise right now, girl. I'm so happy for you. Thank you.

00:02:09.800 How do you feel, other than exhausted? Uh, scared, and also, um... Yeah, I was tired and scared

00:02:17.140 sometimes, um... But it's nice to be able to, like, pay my rent and, like, pay for my friend's

00:02:22.940 dinner, you know? Totally. Because that's, like, never been the case. That's, like, the best part.

00:02:27.100 Yeah, it's like, okay, yeah, I can come to a movie. Like, that's... I, like, never have had that.

00:02:34.240 Yeah. Well, I'm so happy for you. I've been a fan of you for a very long time.

00:02:38.920 I also have to tell you, I have a whole team of lesbians. In-house lesbians. I know. Everyone 1.00

00:02:43.940 who works with me and for me is gay. I can tell. You peeped. She clocked that tea, all of you gay 1.00

00:02:50.660 women, behind the camera. Uh, and we've all been really big fans, too. So we've been fans for a 0.64

00:02:56.020 long time, well before this year. So I'm so happy and proud of you. But I'd love to know, I'm very

00:03:00.740 familiar with your lore, but I would love if you could share with the people just a little bit of

00:03:05.540 your lore. Like, how you got into singing, how you got into drag, more specifically.

00:03:09.560 Yeah. I'm sure you know I have lots of drag queens. I'm collecting them, like, infinity 0.86

00:03:12.620 stones. I heard you say that line on Alaska Thunderfucks. Yeah. Yeah. I do. I love her.

00:03:20.560 I love her. I listened to it last night. I, like, loved it so much. Thank you.

00:03:23.980 My lore. Yeah. I'm sure it's riveting. What's so sick is that people are so stupid online and

00:03:34.020 they're like, industry plant, industry plant. Industry plant, yeah. And it's like, this is 1.00

00:03:38.720 my 10th year. Yeah. I was like, you've been doing music for a long time. Year 10, like,

00:03:43.400 professionally, like, was signed in high school. Yeah. Should be illegal. That's weird, looking

00:03:49.960 back. But, like, 10th year and after just years and years of pushing and pushing and

00:03:56.300 pushing, I'm from, like, southern Missouri and, like, moved to L.A. and it's just the

00:04:01.620 most cliche story ever. Yeah. But, yeah, 2020, ran out of money. Moved back in with my parents,

00:04:08.620 working the drive-thru, got dropped by my label, broke up with someone I thought I was going to

00:04:14.240 marry. Man. Oh, man. Wasn't going to work out, regardless. Yeah. Yeah. And then I started,

00:04:24.640 like, I just really was like, I'm going to do the pop thing. Yeah. And I'm just going

00:04:29.560 to go for it. And I have no money. And I really like drag and, like, all these, like, weird

00:04:34.600 Gucci looks, but I can't afford that. So I'm just going to go to thrift stores and start

00:04:39.220 thrifting things I think are ridiculous. And that would be, that would make my 10-year-old

00:04:43.920 self really happy. Yeah, totally. So my whole life and career changed when I did, like,

00:04:48.100 inner child work. And I think that's why, that's, like, why my career, like, skyrocketed because

00:04:54.920 I started to just, like, have fun and, like, be glittery and not take it seriously. Yeah.

00:05:02.900 And be more authentic to who you really are. Yeah. I think that's what people latch on to.

00:05:06.300 Like, when I dedicated my project to honoring my inner child. Yeah. And, like, that's when

00:05:15.340 it started working. Love. Which is, like, so affirming that, like, you have all the, all

00:05:23.080 in you. You know what I mean? Totally. So now I'm here. I, like, this year has been the

00:05:28.880 most insane year ever. Yeah. For, you know, it's crazy. I never, ever even expected, like,

00:05:36.200 radio. And, like, it's just so crazy to, like, I'm on the radio. Yeah. It's crazy. Absolutely.

00:05:42.540 And, yeah, like, opened up for Olivia Rodrigo for two months this year. Who we love. I started

00:05:47.520 doing, like, festivals like Coachella and, like, Bonnaroo and all these. How was Bonnaroo? I went

00:05:52.640 to Bonnaroo for the first time last year? How hot was it? Two billion degrees, girl. The

00:05:58.380 way I was, like, this is, this heat is sinful. Like, this heat is, if there is a hell, if

00:06:03.040 this, that's what it feels like. It's Tennessee. Yeah. And the people there, too. But, but

00:06:07.100 that's that. The bitches at Bonnaroo? At Bonnaroo, though, they're not like that. No, they're 1.00

00:06:10.840 not. They're so nice. Thrive in the heat. Yeah. And, like, camp in the heat. They were

00:06:15.060 so, I was, like, I remember saying, too, when I was at Bonnaroo two years ago, I was, like,

00:06:18.920 these are the nicest festival goers. Like, everybody is so sweet, and they're like, happy

00:06:23.660 Roo. Yeah, happy Roo. They say that to everyone, and they're so nice and, like, sweet. Everyone

00:06:29.000 was real. I was, like, right in the heart of conservative country. Y'all are crazy. People

00:06:33.280 love it, though. Yeah. Bonnaroo was hot. It was 96 degrees at, and I was playing at three

00:06:38.580 o'clock, so, like, the beat of the, yeah, the sun, and I was in full latex, so that was

00:06:46.700 hard. Are you a sweater? Do you sweat easily? In latex, for sure. It's, like. Your beat

00:06:52.840 stayed nice and firm, though, that's good. The beat is. You have that down now. It's so

00:06:57.960 much makeup. It's insane. Lacquered. Yeah. Are you using airspun powder, like, old-school

00:07:03.500 drag? Bitch, I think I'm using clown makeup. Like, I think I'm, like, actually. That white, 1.00

00:07:08.800 I forget the name of it. Like, Ben Nye white, and then it's, like, clown white powder. Yeah. 0.93

00:07:12.440 It's horrible. I was gonna ask, do you do your own, uh, drag? A lot of the time. A lot 0.96

00:07:17.600 of times you do it yourself? But, like, um, like, I just had a makeup artist for the first

00:07:21.500 time on this, this, literally, like, last month. Mm-hmm. And before that, I've always

00:07:26.520 done my own makeup because I couldn't afford it, and I knew, I just, like, watched YouTube

00:07:32.220 and just worked on it and learned. Got really good. Yeah, because, like. And now, look, it's

00:07:37.320 a staple look. Thank you. How many chapels do you think you're gonna see on Halloween?

00:07:42.040 Probably a million. I'm hiding in Halloween. Like, I am. You could probably blend. I could

00:07:46.100 blend. If you went, if you dressed as chapel, and you just walked around, you, oh, no one

00:07:49.500 would ever find you. I went to Pilates this morning. Mm-hmm. And the entire class, it was

00:07:55.760 full, and the instructor was, like, on the microphone, and she was, like, hello, welcome.

00:08:01.320 You look just like Chapel Rome. Do you know who that is? And I was, like, yeah. No, and I

00:08:06.920 fucking hate her. That's what you should have said. One time I, well, then, okay, I'll 1.00

00:08:11.080 finish this story. No, you're fine. Then, she was, like, blabbing about Chapel Rome,

00:08:16.500 whatever, and then at the end, she's, like, you seriously look so much like her. Do you

00:08:21.300 know who that is? Do you like her music? And I was, like. No, she sounds like a bitch, 1.00

00:08:25.400 though. And I was just, no, I was, part of me wants to be, like, what makes you think I 1.00

00:08:30.440 would like her? Like, or, like, you know, just to, like, make. What are you trying to

00:08:33.560 clock my tea? What are you trying to say? Mm-hmm. But I was, like, you know. Not her being

00:08:36.900 homophobic in bodies. I don't know. If anyone's gonna be homophobic, it's me in

00:08:41.500 every, like. Towards Chapel? Straight up. Um, but she didn't believe me when I said,

00:08:47.800 well, it is. Because she's, like, is it okay if I call you Chapel for fun? Yeah.

00:08:52.020 She's, like, because you look so much like her. And I was, like, I am her. Do you

00:08:55.980 think, do you think it was one of those where they're pretending they don't

00:08:58.220 think it to? No. Or did she genuinely just say anything? Because she got really scared

00:09:00.580 whenever she started to believe me. She's, like, no, you're not. And I was, like.

00:09:05.580 That's, like. Okay, I'm nowhere near you on the scale of being recognized or being

00:09:09.780 a celebrity. However, whenever fans do that pretending shit, which she, I'm sure 1.00

00:09:16.040 she wasn't. But I'm sure you've had ones that have, like, where they go, you look 0.92

00:09:19.180 so familiar. This just happened to me. I went to Vegas for work. And there was an

00:09:22.920 attendant that was, like, checking key cards. So I was just waiting at the bottom

00:09:25.720 of the elevator with my boyfriend. Because I was waiting for my family to come

00:09:28.420 down. And she was, like, you look familiar. And then I was, like, I don't know,

00:09:32.700 maybe. And then she was, she goes, Drew? And I go, yeah. She goes, I knew it. I

00:09:38.800 knew it. I literally knew it. And then she was just staring at me. And it's

00:09:42.060 quiet. And then she goes, you're so much prettier in person. And then I go, thank

00:09:47.340 you. Thank you. And then she goes, I hope that didn't sound weird. And then she

00:09:51.760 turned around. Actually, actually, it sounded rude, is what it was. But no, it got kind of.

00:09:56.180 Yeah, yeah. And that's why she was staring at me for so long. Because she thinks of me

00:09:59.760 as a fuggo. And then when she saw me in real life, she's like, that's not a fuggo. That

00:10:02.440 can't be her. And then she goes, oh, it is you. Wow, you're way better looking in

00:10:06.840 person. Because you're a big fuggo on the internet. That is. That's my most, my most

00:10:12.140 complimented thing is that. You're so much prettier in person. That is so offensive.

00:10:16.320 That is. I thought so chapel. But apparently, that's just my thing. Yeah. I was just like,

00:10:22.460 like, if that were to, if that were to happen, I would just be like, what do you mean? Yeah.

00:10:28.420 Sometimes I'm like, it's what I just do. I just like photograph horribly. Like, I don't

00:10:32.220 know. No. I was like, even when you, even when you have no makeup on and you're just like

00:10:36.900 yelling at the camera, you're still like gorge. Oh my God. Thank you, chapel room. Yeah. Thank

00:10:41.520 you. I appreciate that. I think, uh, what's the weirdest encounter you've ever had? Like

00:10:45.760 being recognized. Um, I got some weird ones, so I can only imagine. I mean, I, Jesus. Other

00:10:53.620 than that lady harassing you today, she said, admit it, you're a doppelganger. She just didn't 0.99

00:10:58.100 believe me. And I was like, it is. And she's like, are you serious? I'm going to freak out

00:11:03.300 and cry. And I was like, I'm leaving. Must not be that big of a fan because she didn't recognize

00:11:09.340 you. And then she just finally believed me and asked me for a photo, whatever. Um, and then

00:11:14.340 I can, I think the craziest one is like, I was just being a freak in central park and

00:11:21.860 like, you do like rolling around. Can I say you look like someone that would roll around

00:11:27.500 in central park? Of course I did. Oh yeah, I know. Like I have, um, I was just doing somersault,

00:11:33.860 practicing a somersault. Hadn't done a somersault. I was like, I haven't done a somersault in

00:11:38.800 like 10, 12 years. This is chapel room by the way. But yeah, go ahead.

00:11:41.580 I was trying to like finish, uh, like somersaults and like, I was trying to learn how to do

00:11:50.380 like a car wheel, but I was only doing like half of it. And I had grass on my hair, dirt

00:11:56.300 all over all my whole body. And this person was like these, like a twink and probably more

00:12:03.260 gay people. Um, came up and they're like, I was coming up from the somersault. And they're 1.00

00:12:10.140 like, are you chapel room? And I was like, no. And they were like, well, can we get a

00:12:16.900 photo with you? Just in case. Yeah. And the girl was like, like did this. And she was

00:12:21.740 like, it's not her. Don't ask for a photo. And I was like, it's me. And I was just like

00:12:28.200 the most. I feel like you, are you panicking under pressure? I feel like you're panicking.

00:12:31.440 Yeah. Cause I'm like, there's leaves and dirt in my hair and on my skin. And like giving

00:12:36.100 Tarzan. Yeah. I would like, yeah. Um, literally look like a two year old. Cause that's what

00:12:40.980 I exactly what I was doing. And I was like, okay, yeah, let's get a, get a pick. Yeah.

00:12:46.200 We should do. I love nothing more than take a picture. And so I was, I sometimes I'll just

00:12:51.080 ask fans to be like, can you not tell anyone that I'm here? Yeah. Because like, I don't

00:12:55.180 want this shit to be weird. And they're like, yeah, yeah, of course we get it. And so. 0.99

00:12:58.840 And did they tell anyone? I don't know. I left immediately after. Yeah. Yeah. You're

00:13:02.600 like, can you not? And then you're like, they're probably going to tell someone. Yeah. I'm

00:13:05.620 like, I'm going to, I'm going to know. Oh, here's kind of a deep question. I just thought

00:13:09.620 of, but like, what's something you miss doing before this happened? Cause there are some

00:13:14.700 things I miss. I'll give you one. I miss going, excuse me. Fiji Airways is on sale now. Fly

00:13:46.020 Oh, I still do that.

00:13:47.360 Drugs in public.

00:13:48.580 Drugs.

00:13:48.800 That's what I, that's what I, I miss. 0.99

00:13:51.880 See, it's just like, just rolling up, rolling up, being a fucking freak at the bar and like, 0.99

00:13:57.900 or like making out with someone at the bar. Oh yeah. Or I was going to say the movies, 0.99

00:14:02.880 but sure.

00:14:04.460 Or movies, but it's so dark people, you know, but that's why I can't go to the movies anymore. 1.00

00:14:08.620 Cause I feel like when I do, everyone's watching me and not the movie. Everyone's like this.

00:14:12.700 Like they're literally, if I'm facing this way, they watch me like this. The whole fucking 0.99

00:14:19.200 movie. Yeah. The whole movie. I can't watch movies anymore. Especially in LA. It's probably 1.00

00:14:23.660 like the worst, right?

00:14:24.880 Yeah. Yeah. So you hate, you miss making out with strangers and doing drugs.

00:14:28.780 Doing drugs.

00:14:29.400 In public.

00:14:29.820 I miss, um, frolicking, obviously, because now I'm self-conscious to frolick and I'm...

00:14:36.560 You're being perceived while you frolick.

00:14:38.000 Yeah. Nothing worse.

00:14:39.120 I miss like...

00:14:42.000 I miss...

00:14:46.000 Probably just like being in Forever 21 and not being judged. You know what I mean?

00:14:53.520 Sometimes I want to go to the H&M and I don't want to hear it. 0.99

00:14:55.860 And I don't want to fucking hear it. 0.97

00:14:57.540 I'm not going to buy anything. 0.98

00:14:59.440 Just want to browse.

00:15:00.140 I'm just looking around.

00:15:01.660 I do enjoy browsing in those like shops.

00:15:04.360 Yeah.

00:15:04.720 Yeah. Cause sometimes you find stuff and you're like, wow.

00:15:06.780 Dude, or thrifting. That's what I miss. I mean, I'm like in disguise most of the time.

00:15:11.860 Yeah.

00:15:13.060 But like, I miss just like walking around and being like by myself. I guess being by myself

00:15:17.800 is what I miss.

00:15:18.820 That's T. I was just telling someone that the other day. I like watch whenever I see creators

00:15:23.760 because I have a lot of friends who are creators that do like vlog, like, oh, spend the day with

00:15:27.420 me or whatever. And I see them going to the mall and shit. I'm like, man, I watch it like 0.98

00:15:32.200 fucking Tiny Tim outside the restaurant. Like I'm like, oh, what it must be like to do that. 0.97

00:15:36.760 Like I can't do that anymore. And I literally was telling my boyfriend the other day, I'm

00:15:40.400 like, I miss being alone. Like I can't go, I can't do anything alone anymore. And I wish

00:15:44.020 I could.

00:15:44.280 This is like dangerous.

00:15:45.260 It is. Yeah. Well, especially for you, for me, it's like a lot of people calling me, you

00:15:49.600 look way uglier on my phone, but you're way better looking in person.

00:15:51.840 This is not true. But I, I feel you. I, people have started to be freaks. Yeah. Like follow 0.75

00:16:01.600 me. Yeah. They follow you around. And like follow like, like know where my parents live

00:16:05.500 and like my sister, where's my sister works. Like all this weird shit. And I'm just like, 0.96

00:16:09.940 this is the time when I was like a few years ago that I said, if, if stalker vibes, like

00:16:17.960 family was in danger is when I would quit and like, we're there. Same. We're there. Same.

00:16:22.660 And so I'm just kind of like in this battle of like, I've, I've like pumped the brakes

00:16:29.600 on honestly anything to like make me more known. Yeah. It's like kind of a forest fire

00:16:37.240 right now. Just like being itself. Yeah. And like, but I'm not like, I'm not trying to

00:16:44.160 go do a bunch of, you know, shit. Yeah. It's just like, I want to do, I just want to do 0.99

00:16:48.820 like your art and that, but just things that I feel like that or like this, like just girly

00:16:59.080 time and not like such high, like, I don't, I feel like I could be myself. I don't have

00:17:03.880 to be like super chapel, super chapel. Yeah. Super chapel. Yeah. I get that. I mean, I feel

00:17:10.720 like to, it's very strange because it's like you get everything you've ever wanted in terms

00:17:16.680 of career. Cause you're like, this is what I've always wanted to make money off my art.

00:17:20.020 But I remember seeing once, like, I think it was Jennifer Lawrence, like when she kind of

00:17:24.900 disappeared for a while. Cause like, you know, everybody was obsessed with her and then

00:17:27.180 they started hating her and then she disappeared. And then she came back. She was saying, I love

00:17:31.220 my job. I love my art. I love, like, I never in a million years thought I would make money

00:17:34.260 off art and I'm glad that I can. I just realized I hate everything about being famous. Like

00:17:39.040 everything that comes with making money off art is really hard sometimes. And that's when

00:17:43.760 I, it gets difficult to talk about, especially for me, cause I'm just like a dickhead on the

00:17:47.040 internet, but like when I'm, this is by no means the hardest job in the world, which

00:17:50.960 I've told people it is not the hardest job in the world. It's hard for reasons that you

00:17:54.580 could never prepare for no matter how many jobs you've had. So it's like, it comes with

00:17:59.020 shit that you can't even ask anyone. How do I deal with this? Cause the only people 1.00

00:18:02.800 who know are other people who are famous, they're doing the same thing. So that's why

00:18:06.200 making friends in the communities easier, makes it easier. That's like helped me so much.

00:18:11.740 Yeah. Or people who it's worse too, when it's people who are fans, but they're fans like

00:18:17.520 now, as opposed to people who have like, cause the people who have loved me for years are very

00:18:22.620 respectful in a lot of ways. The people who jump on after the fact are the ones who are

00:18:27.240 super fucking rude to me. Sometimes fans can be rude, but like it's unintentional. Like 0.95

00:18:31.640 I've had people take a picture with me cause they saw other people taking a picture with

00:18:34.640 me. And then after she goes, I don't know who the fuck that is. I just saw other people 0.99

00:18:37.420 taking a picture, but I was like right behind her when she said it. So I was like, then why

00:18:41.440 did you like, and sometimes they don't even know my name. You're like, bitch, I don't want 1.00

00:18:43.780 to take a photo with you. Yeah. Like I did that. That wasn't for me. Do you ever say no? 1.00

00:18:47.660 Do you say no? No. And I'm working on it. And I talked about it in therapy actually,

00:18:53.500 cause I realized I have no boundaries with fans in a lot of ways. And I have so many

00:18:57.800 boundaries in a lot of other ways. So I'm like very confrontational in a lot of ways,

00:19:01.380 but with people who love you, you don't want to be rude. But at the same time, sometimes

00:19:04.800 they're so unintentionally rude that you're kind of like, thank you. It's rude. Thank

00:19:08.840 you. It's fucking rude. Imagine don't yell at me from your car window. And what other 0.98

00:19:14.420 circumstance? That's harassment. Do you get yelled at? Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes they don't

00:19:19.240 even know my name. So they'll be like, you're the girl, right? The girl, the girl that's

00:19:22.580 like on the girl that's mean to guys like on the internet. No. Then I'm like, I don't

00:19:27.240 know. Sometimes I go, they're like, you look so familiar. And I know they know who I am.

00:19:31.360 I'll go, I don't know. Maybe we went to school together. She's in her fifties.

00:19:34.640 Maybe we went to school together. Wait, were you freshmen? I've had an older woman and this

00:19:40.360 is not me dragging her, but she literally was like in her fifties and she was like, did 1.00

00:19:43.760 we go to school together? Girl, what do you think? Let's all use our brains. Like

00:19:49.440 maybe she was a preschool teacher. Yeah. Like, were you my TA when I was in high school?

00:19:53.880 Maybe. I don't fucking know. It's like, don't lie to me, girl. Come on. Don't make me do 0.96

00:19:59.340 that shit. Well, speaking of like the price of fame, what's the coolest thing you've been 0.99

00:20:05.560 able to do so far? Like something you never thought you'd be able to do, but now are able

00:20:11.640 to do that or have done. I guess like people who've been in my position feel more comfortable

00:20:19.560 talking to me because they can relate on a level. Totally. And so like me and people who

00:20:26.160 I've looked up to in my entire life are like peers now, which is sick. That's cool. Yeah.

00:20:32.620 Cause you never thought, but I would, yeah, I was, I just never, I never really expected

00:20:38.220 anything from my career except like to make me happy. Like I've been poor in like, so I

00:20:45.260 know that I can be happy and poor. Um, so like not having money doesn't scare me. It's really

00:20:51.320 just like, how do I make this like be sustainable. And like, so I think that like all these things

00:21:01.720 that are happening to me now are just kind of icing on the cake, but I never thought

00:21:07.040 like, I never thought I could fly first class. Like, you know what I mean? Yeah. Um, I never

00:21:14.720 thought that I would get like access to like so much backstage, you know, all these like

00:21:22.020 crazy or invitations. That's been cool. Like Miley invited me to like a party and I was

00:21:29.040 like, you don't know that I, you were my first concert when the Jonas Brothers were opening

00:21:35.100 for you. I'm so jealous. I never got to go to that one. Were you a big Jonas Brothers

00:21:38.300 fan? No. Or were you a Hannah Montana fan? Hannah Montana. I didn't know. You technically

00:21:42.280 are Hannah Montana. It is kind of true. And I, I wish, I wish I would have done looking

00:21:47.020 back at like, if I were to be able to start this all over, I don't think it's realistic

00:21:51.680 to do a Daft Punk thing, but I wish I would have, you know, like a helmet. They got something.

00:21:56.160 They, they really figured it out. I know. Same with Mr. Marshmallow. Um, senor Marshmallow.

00:22:02.560 Madam. Madam Marshmallow. Um, but I loved that Hannah, like, you know, had two different

00:22:09.860 personalities. Cause it's my fucking hair that gets me in trouble all the time. So, um, 0.99

00:22:14.600 I wish I would have done her, but she, I, my friend thought I went, I was fourth grade

00:22:23.800 and like when she came out, I saw my friend start crying and then like little girls around

00:22:32.200 and I started crying and I was like, I guess I heard her cry. And I was like, and I was

00:22:38.900 like, this is so emotional. And like, and like, but I get now, I didn't understand then

00:22:47.660 why people were crying, but now I get it. And like, Oh, because this is the, that was the

00:22:54.960 coolest thing. It was like a spiritual experience. It was so spiritual. I'm so jealous. I only got

00:22:59.460 to see the movie. Didn't get to see the concert. Jealous. I'm just going to manifest that she 0.59

00:23:03.680 comes back. When I wrote a fan fiction, it was based off that tour. What other fan fiction

00:23:08.080 have you written? I've only written about the Jonas Brothers. What? To be quite honest with you.

00:23:11.480 Which one? Nick. I was a Nick girl. His diabetes was a huge moving part of the story. Sorry to

00:23:16.920 say. It was the whole time. Sorry. It was the whole time. Even if it's not in fanfic. It was a real

00:23:21.900 plot driver in my fan fiction. Disney hammered us. Yeah. I thought he was going to die too.

00:23:27.420 Yeah. Everyone was like, I was like, no, please don't say it. People were really like

00:23:31.880 already mourning. Like grieving. They were, they were grieving in fifth grade. Yeah.

00:23:37.820 Being like, I don't know how long he has. Were you ever a fangirl of anyone other than

00:23:43.420 Hannah Montana? Of course. And now you are Hannah Montana. That's crazy. Lana. I look

00:23:50.420 like, I, I, I love like, I feel really lesbian whenever I see a girl fucking shredding guitar. 1.00

00:24:08.060 Yeah. And like, I feel you. Lana. Love. She shreds. She shreds a cig. Really? I've 0.98

00:24:14.840 never seen her play. Like, I see her smoking cigs. Oh, she shreds a cigarette. Oh, she

00:24:18.340 shreds. Gotcha. You know, which love the cig. Yeah. But like, for some reason, something 0.96

00:24:23.000 in me is like, it's like, it's like this. You're coming alive. I mean, I know it's a podcast,

00:24:28.340 but this is what happens when I see a girl play guitar. It's like those little, uh, those 0.80

00:24:36.560 bugs in, uh, you ever seen Wreck-It Ralph? Yes. You know, when they're like, yes, yes,

00:24:41.680 yes, yes, yes. Whenever that light shoots up, that's another woman playing a guitar. 0.95

00:24:47.820 Exactly. And you're just like moth to a flame. Fangirl. I, I've never been a fangirl really,

00:24:56.360 like never been obsessive over any until last week. Like my, the first time in my life I

00:25:03.700 got fan culture because I saw a video of Joan Jett when she was like, I don't know, like,

00:25:12.300 I don't know, probably in the eighties, maybe like early mid eighties and like her prime. 1.00

00:25:16.240 And I was like, I just watched it. Your eyes rolled in the back of your head. It's almost

00:25:22.420 like they rolled forward. Like it's like, they rolled this far. They popped out like

00:25:27.320 a cartoon. Yeah, exactly. Like the guy on like world Guinness records, you know, when he's

00:25:31.740 like, look how far I can pop out my eyes. Like that's exactly what I did. Your tongue

00:25:35.740 rolled on the floor. Yeah. And it was funny. Yep. Um, and I was like, that's crazy. I think

00:25:42.920 I need to, I think I need to look at photos of her. And so I was like looking through, I was

00:25:48.360 like Joan Jett, 1980s. And I was like, Joan Jett, hot. Joan Jett, I was like. Joan Jett

00:25:55.320 naked. Joan Jett naked. Joan Jett full nudes. No. Full frontal. That's what you're Googling? 0.94

00:26:04.320 Your Chabels Google search history. And I look, I respect, all respects to Miss Jett. Peace

00:26:11.040 and love. Madam Jett. Madam Jett. But, um, I like got it. And I was like, I think if I didn't

00:26:16.540 have a job, that she would become my job in life. Like, you know what I mean? Just

00:26:21.600 the essence of Joan Jett. I'm just like, it would be following her shows and like. You

00:26:28.340 caught the fever. Like sometimes, like I just, for some reason, never done this in

00:26:31.600 my life. Save some photos of her. Just cause. Just, I was like, I'm gonna save. When you're

00:26:37.380 feeling down, you go back and look at them. At first I was like, I'll save a couple. I don't

00:26:41.680 know this woman at all. I was like, I'll save a couple. And then I just saved like saving

00:26:46.060 more and more and more. And like nothing. Making it to your screen saver. Nothing, nothing

00:26:49.940 like, like freak, freakazoid vibes. Like, but like, I was just like, I just, I wanna look

00:26:56.720 at her. If you get a little freaky, that's okay. Be a little freakazoid. But I, I, I can't

00:27:01.020 be like that with people. Like, I have a really hard time having crushes on people. Me

00:27:06.180 too. Cause I'm just like, I, I can't really, I just feel so guilty. Like sexualizing

00:27:12.520 them. Really? I think that's a Christian. Mine's the opposite. Um, you're like, I'm 1.00

00:27:17.080 gonna fuck you. What's your name? Mine is literally, mine is literally that I just truly 1.00

00:27:21.920 believe that everyone would fall in love with me if they spent enough time with me. Like

00:27:25.200 give me like 10 minutes. And it's true. So like mine, there's no need for a crush. Cause

00:27:29.440 I could have you if I wanted you. I just don't. You don't. So like mine is like, that's

00:27:33.060 my tea. You don't yearn. No. For someone. No. Well, you're in for my man now. Totally.

00:27:40.680 Yeah. But like Pat prior to that, no, there's no one really that speaks to my spirit like

00:27:46.180 that because I just think I'm like the baddest bitch alive. Yeah. So I feel like anyone I'm 0.99

00:27:51.640 like, when I see like any man, anyone, anyone at all, like, I'm like, just give me like 10

00:27:55.880 minutes. Yeah. Exactly. Hang out with me. I'll make them giggle. I'll make them blush a little

00:27:59.180 bit. Then I'm going to have to be like, I'm taking, you're going to have to be like, get off

00:28:02.720 me. I'm so sorry to say don't know. Thank you. Joan Jett. My friend chapel told me that

00:28:08.260 she's in love with you. Sorry, Joan. I was like, I'm not going to look at these photos

00:28:14.320 and do anything with about it, but I'm going to like, I'm not going to be weird. I'm not

00:28:18.800 going to be weird, but I just want to look at her and gaze upon her. Yeah. I was just,

00:28:23.800 I like to gaze. Yeah. We all like to gaze. I was just like, I had to stop myself because

00:28:30.400 I was like, Kaylee, this is weird. Like you had to have a moment with like, I was like

00:28:35.600 telling my friend, like, Hey, look what I did. That's so weird. And she was like, that's

00:28:41.120 not like funny. She was like, that's um, that's kind of a lot. And I was like, yep. Delete,

00:28:50.260 delete, delete. Yeah. I thought so too. That was so weird. Sorry. I don't know why I said

00:28:53.840 that. That was a joke. Oh, never heard of a joke. Sorry. We're not allowed to laugh anymore.

00:28:58.760 So now I'm taking like a second away from Joan Jett. I'm just like, take it. I'm not

00:29:02.940 going to look at it. But you got fan culture for a sec. Yeah. And I was like, this is

00:29:06.240 the parasite dangerous. Cause I, she's mine and no one else. Sometimes when I see things 0.68

00:29:12.580 I like, cause sometimes fans will be like, Oh, you should watch this or you should get

00:29:15.540 into this. And I'm like, I don't have the time. Cause once I get into it, I can't stop

00:29:21.060 myself and I don't have time for that. Are you obsessive? I can be. Yeah. I think that's

00:29:26.100 why for like shows and stuff, I watch a lot of the same shit over and over again, 0.92

00:29:29.760 just cause especially when I'm working, I've noticed like when I'm working a lot, I just

00:29:33.600 need to watch stuff I'm used to. Yeah. Cause I can't, cause that's like comforting. Yeah.

00:29:36.940 And I don't have time for new things. Although I am into house of dragon. Have you watched

00:29:41.420 house of dragon? No, but I did watch all of game of thrones. I loved game of thrones. Hated

00:29:45.640 the last two seasons, but loved that show. We all did. They did my girl, Danny so wrong.

00:29:49.780 I agree. They did her so wrong in the end of that show. Agreed. But house of dragon,

00:29:53.500 I'm all up in there. But see now it's, it's consuming my every waking thought. This is

00:29:57.460 why I can't get into new things. Cause I'm just thinking about it all the time. Everyone

00:30:00.580 loves the lesbian looking one. Sorry. Emma Darcy. That's probably. Yeah. Oh, short hair. 0.99

00:30:10.120 Yes. Yeah. They're non-binary, but they play Rhaenyra on the show. One of the main queens

00:30:14.820 on the show. So they're non-binary. Okay. The queer looking one. Like everyone. Yeah. Yeah.

00:30:22.580 Yeah. I get it. Yeah. I fucking get it. When they had that grill on, I said, you're

00:30:27.760 crazy. Oh, what was that for? You're popping out. And for what? Was that for, what was 0.97

00:30:31.420 that for? Like a charity? I don't know. Go home, you little slut. That's what I was 1.00

00:30:34.340 going to say. Emma Darcy, go home. You're slutting yourself out like that. Go home. I saw, 1.00

00:30:40.160 I saw that. I was like, damn, I might have to get a grill, I guess. I know. I was like, 0.99

00:30:46.680 that goes hard. I know. They look great. What are you into? What kind of shows you like?

00:30:50.400 I, Glee. Oh, right. We were talking about Glee. You're in your Glee renaissance right

00:30:55.440 now. I watch Glee and Spongebob. I love Spongebob. That's all I can handle. Spongebob's

00:30:59.940 funny. Sorry to say. And when I'm feeling like a boy vibe, I just like get high and watch

00:31:05.920 Family Guy, which is the shit hole of the earth. Chapel. Can I say something to you? That's 0.99

00:31:12.380 my favorite thing to do at home. Smoke weed and get smoke weed and watch Family Guy. I'm

00:31:16.240 not kidding. I'm not kidding on my fucking life. I do that every night. Come 1.00

00:31:21.140 from literally the internet's going to come for me. Like, I'm sorry to say it is truly

00:31:27.580 one of the funniest shows ever. I think it's funny. I'm sorry. I can't control that. 2009

00:31:33.420 and before some of the stuff it's like, it's bad. Yeah. The most recent seasons though,

00:31:39.780 like, or not like the middle to the end now. Yeah. I, the way my brain works in Family

00:31:46.560 Guy bits, like there are literally jokes that I still regurgitate to this day. And sometimes

00:31:50.700 when people ask me where that's from, I feel a great deal of shame. Just be like, I made

00:31:54.580 it up. I don't want to admit where it's from. Just admit that you made it up. I just take

00:31:58.240 credit for it. I'm like, Oh, that's from here. Yeah. Sorry to say. Yeah. No, I'm obsessed with

00:32:02.460 Family Guy. It's so bad. And when you're high, it's even funnier. It's the funniest show

00:32:07.020 I ever ran. And I can't watch it with anyone because every, they would be like, dude, why

00:32:14.080 I've literally, sometimes I'm like, you guys need to sit down and watch this episode with

00:32:17.340 me. Like I literally tell my sister, please watch this episode with me. I don't have anyone.

00:32:21.040 Sometimes I'll laugh so hard that I have to pause it. Cause I can't hear anything else.

00:32:25.180 Cause I'm still laughing. I'm like, pause it, pause it, pause it. I was telling a whole joke.

00:32:31.660 Like sometimes I'll go, that's actually, that reminds me of something from Family Guy. I say

00:32:35.520 that all the time. I'm sorry. My, my inner circle is just used to it now. Now they just,

00:32:41.480 they entertain my bits. So I'll just, well, anyone watch it. This is what happens. And

00:32:44.980 I tell them. Does your boyfriend watch it with you? Yeah. Okay. He laughs too. I find boys

00:32:49.880 will watch it with me. Yeah. That really speaks to their spirit. Huh? But yeah. Um, just like

00:32:56.380 complete disrespect from, for every, for every margin, for every margin. Yeah. They're like,

00:33:00.560 Oh yeah. Make fun of it. Love it. Um, but yeah, like I, I do feel ashamed when speaking

00:33:08.960 to a woman about it. I will say there are jokes in there though, that have nothing to do with

00:33:12.840 oppression that are truly some of the funniest jokes ever. Like agreed. Like there's one I've,

00:33:17.340 I've said for years and it's like, the joke is that he has cow udders like, and then he milks

00:33:22.460 them in a board meeting and everyone's drinking. And like one of the guys that gets in his mouth

00:33:26.700 and then he goes, I don't care. I'm not driving. And the way, anytime I do anything, I go, I don't

00:33:33.900 care. I'm not driving. I say that all the time. Nobody gets it. Nobody understands. And it's really

00:33:38.120 not that funny. I don't know what to tell you. I don't know what to tell you. My fucking brain

00:33:43.220 just look at you and be like, okay. That's why I said, I felt, I felt so seen and validated by you 1.00

00:33:47.780 just now. Thank God you have a friend in me. One day, one day we can do that together. Get high and

00:33:52.580 watch Family Guy. Are you weird when you're high? Sometimes depends. Sometimes I think I'm funnier

00:33:58.320 when I'm high. I definitely am too, but I can be around max one person or this is what I mean when

00:34:07.240 I can't, this is what I mean when I can't, how I miss doing drugs in public. Yeah. I used to be

00:34:13.100 such a freak like in the clubs, like, and just had no issue dressing insane and like doing whatever I

00:34:21.620 could for attention and like, and so, but now, you know, I miss like being high and going to

00:34:27.960 a bar. Yeah. Cause then I can be like, but now you get too, you get too spooky. I'm just still

00:34:36.080 like, dude, if someone comes up and recognizes me and I'm going to throw up on them. It could be a

00:34:41.680 nightmare. Yeah. It's like, I'll be like, yes, it's me. Hi. Like, and just like force myself to

00:34:51.420 be normal. So now I can't do that unless I'm in like a crazy wig. That's, that's tea. When I was

00:34:57.740 in New York a few months ago, I had a scary edible experience so bad to the point where half my party

00:35:03.640 got sent home before me and my boyfriend, cause the two of us were having this. I heard you say that

00:35:07.560 on the Alaska one. Right. You couldn't get on the flight. Right. I got recognized in the lounge

00:35:12.720 and I, again, I cannot, I don't even remember what I was wearing. I don't remember. And I remember

00:35:17.760 how much was it? I don't know. And an ungodly and sinful amount. And if I could, I would put a hit

00:35:23.440 out on what was it? Was it like a brownie? It was a little like sour gummy, but, or no,

00:35:29.780 they were little chocolate balls, but I took two of them or no, it took one and a half.

00:35:33.360 And I, the guy said, Oh girl, that was like over a hundred milligrams. I'm convinced I took

00:35:39.760 over a hundred, which is like, you should have just pulled trick. Yeah. Like I was about to jump

00:35:44.100 out my hotel room window. I was this close. Cause I was thinking, I remember my boyfriend was wearing

00:35:49.060 the most insane outfit too. Like he had these bright green cargo pants on and a cropped black

00:35:55.300 sweater. That was mine. And then a bright blue hat. I would be like, who is this lady? 0.98

00:36:00.200 In a brown backpack. He had this woman following me at the airport. And I go, you got to change,

00:36:05.400 dude. You look insane. And then he was like, if I take the pants off, I'm not making it to the 1.00

00:36:09.660 airport. And I was like, okay. Cause we were both still fucked up. This is the next morning.

00:36:13.900 This is like 10 hours later. Still on. Yeah. I don't even want to know what I looked like

00:36:18.460 walking in that airport. I don't even want to know what I look like. Yeah, it was. But then I went to

00:36:23.200 the lounge and I was like, I just need to eat. And then someone came up to me, recognized me and

00:36:27.020 she's talking to me. And I remember actively thinking, I have to look like I'm paying attention

00:36:31.700 even though I wasn't. So I was, I was like, look at her, but don't look too hard. And then I was

00:36:37.340 going, Oh, well now I'm staring. Okay. Hold on. I need to look away. Wait, no. Now it looks like

00:36:40.620 I'm not paying attention. No. Yeah, that's exactly. And then I thought I was keeping it super cool.

00:36:46.580 And then she halfway through the conversation, she goes, are you okay? And then I go, yeah. Yeah. And

00:36:53.080 then I started thinking, was I not okay? And then I started thinking, what the fuck was I doing? 0.99

00:36:56.560 What were you doing? And then I was like, hopefully my boyfriend will be able to tell me 0.98

00:37:00.640 because he's at the table as she's talking to me. And then she goes, okay, well have a nice night.

00:37:06.560 And I go, yeah, you too. And then I don't know if she asked me a question. Like I have no idea.

00:37:11.280 She left. I look, my boyfriend's head, his head is flat. And then I go, Hey, did I look bad in that?

00:37:18.680 And he goes, in what? And I go, forget it. Great. Cause he's not there either. Forget it.

00:37:22.840 Forget it. We got, we're two blind mice right now. We're just going through life on our own.

00:37:26.760 That's crazy. I was like, I hope, I hope she never remembers that interaction. I hope she never

00:37:30.300 tells anybody. I can't even imagine. She probably was like, she was fucked up. Cause now I'm thinking

00:37:35.180 I was watching her like this. Cause then she was like, are you okay? And I was like, yes. Why did I

00:37:41.540 not look okay? So I get what you mean. That's a horrifying experience being under the influence and in public.

00:37:48.240 That's probably a good thing though. I know that they're tailoring, but I'm glad we have similar

00:37:51.760 hobbies. You and I do the same things in our downtime. Like dude stuff. It's so lame. That's

00:37:57.020 probably the straightest thing about me is watching family guy. Same. Yeah. And I, and they make fun

00:38:01.320 of, they make fun of crazy gay stuff. And I'm like, you're giggling at home. You're cackling at home. 0.98

00:38:10.420 Well, I want us to ask too, what would you say is the most rewarding part of like now having a

00:38:17.400 platform? Cause you represent so many different groups as well, but you also platform drag a lot.

00:38:22.980 I want to ask you more about drag. Oh wait, before I get to that, who's your favorite drag queen? 1.00

00:38:26.320 Do you have a fan or maybe a top three for the controversial ones? Willem and detox for the

00:38:36.480 nice ones. Kim Chi. Um, I think my favorite Sasha Colby, like my girl overall number one. Um,

00:38:45.040 I love Bob. Um, and I love, fuck it. I like Derek Berry. Um, slash Brittany. Um, he does a great 1.00

00:38:57.360 job at Brittany. Yeah. Um, but I mean, Trixie is so fucking awesome. Yeah. She's my op. Yeah. I'll

00:39:05.060 fist fight Trixie. Me and Trixie are going to celebrity boxing match. Oh yeah. I love her. Why?

00:39:10.080 Well, she and I are both Virgos, but we, I just did her pod like a couple weeks ago. Love her,

00:39:17.820 but there's like a running bit that she never texts me back, which is like true. Do you text

00:39:22.080 people back? No, I don't either. And as a Virgo, like I feel like I should do it to others and it

00:39:28.260 should not be done to me. Right. Revenge. Yeah, obviously. But I remember when I was on her pod,

00:39:33.260 she's like, yeah, Brittany Broski, she told me that, uh, you're always texting me and I never text you

00:39:37.700 back and I felt bad. And I go, well, hold on. Let's be clear. I wasn't texting you to hang and

00:39:42.160 you were just ignoring me. That's not what was happening. I text you happy birthday and you

00:39:45.560 ignored me one time. And then, but then she was like, she DM'd me on Instagram and was like the

00:39:50.920 way that you haven't text me. So you're missing out on all my thoughts. And I was like, I have text

00:39:55.820 you bitch. Like what the fuck? And then I text her again. And I said, this is drew off wallow. Cause I 1.00

00:40:00.800 don't know if this bitch has multiple drews in her phone. And then she goes, Oh my God, I did have your 1.00

00:40:05.420 number. And then I go, okay. I said, yeah, well, what did you want to tell me? She didn't text me

00:40:10.060 back. And then I texted her again. I said, bitch, if you don't tell me, I'm literally going to send 1.00

00:40:14.280 a SWAT team to your fucking house. And then she said that I'm so beautiful and sent me a picture 1.00

00:40:18.320 of herself. And then I blocked her. You know how, wait, would you ever SWAT someone's house? Um, I don't

00:40:25.820 know. Are you asking? Would you like me to SWAT you? Kinda. Just to get the experience. Just to be like,

00:40:31.560 maybe an arch nemesis. Yeah. Cause remember it was like a trend. Like it was people were just like

00:40:38.160 calling like people were trying to do that to me, but on, on, not on some funny shit on some real 0.98

00:40:42.180 shit, but like, they were trying to SWAT you. Yeah. Men who hate me. Oh yeah. They're trying to SWAT 0.99

00:40:46.200 you. Yeah. Isn't that crazy? I'm like, you guys are so afraid of me. I was just telling someone when I

00:40:51.540 make fun of men so severely, like I make fun of, I made fun of someone's hairline on Twitter the other

00:40:55.560 day and he was like, Oh yeah. So balding. And he was like, I was like, he took a picture of his

00:41:00.760 forehead again. And he has one of those fringes that like hangs down and I go lift up that little

00:41:04.680 bang. I'm trying to see something. And then, and then he, what that bang do with that thing,

00:41:09.140 lift up that little bang girl. I want to see what's underneath. And he literally pulled his car 1.00

00:41:12.740 over and like lifted up his bang and like took a picture and it looked awful. But I was laughing

00:41:18.280 cause I'm like the way you guys are, you guys will do anything I say. Yeah. They're so submissive.

00:41:23.240 They're so submissive to me. But then they'll readable and submissive fucking throw a bomb 1.00

00:41:28.740 squad on you to like try to make it mad at me. I'm like, so it might fall. You do whatever 1.00

00:41:32.640 I say. Right. Exactly. Do you get a lot of hate? I don't read the comments anymore, but

00:41:39.000 if I, if I do what I do in my head, I'm like, that's a bot. That's, that's actually really

00:41:44.440 good. I'm like, that's a bot obviously. And then if someone like makes a video, I'm like,

00:41:47.820 that's AI. Like I am like, that's AI. That's a great method. I think that's wonderful.

00:41:52.860 Like cause it's how they're behaving is so delusional. So I'm going to do it back. I'm going to

00:41:57.120 match it. Wow. You're so genius. So I'm just like, you want to say that shit? You're not

00:42:01.700 real. Well, that's obviously AI. That is nice one. Deep fake. Like almost had me. You're

00:42:08.520 not going to get me. I almost thought that was a real person. I used to fight, um, in

00:42:14.060 the comments, love fighting. Um, I don't fight anymore just simply because I'm like, I'm not

00:42:19.300 going to let it, I don't have to defend myself and like prove to you that like whatever.

00:42:24.800 Like I, I'm just like, I would be online all day long if I had to, I feel that, you

00:42:29.640 know, you're telling me girl. So I mean, but I, I just, if I get hate, I'm like, this

00:42:38.240 is the point of art. Like I get illicit a response. What hurts my feelings is when

00:42:43.220 people like come for my character. I feel that same. And I'm just like, and it

00:42:49.280 comes from people you love or support. Yeah. People that, but, but then again, I'm

00:42:54.220 like the people who I, who are judging my character, I've never met them. I don't

00:42:59.940 know them. Yeah. They don't know me at all. Like, it's just like, I'm some, I

00:43:04.220 wish people would look at me as like, that's a random person. Like you happen

00:43:08.080 to like know the art that they make, but like, that's a random bit. Yeah. For

00:43:12.800 real. Like what they see is not everything about who you are. Like people are so

00:43:17.420 much more multifaceted than one. So they think that about me too. Like they think

00:43:23.280 I'm the meanest bitch alive. Like sometimes people will ask me like, are 1.00

00:43:25.740 you just like this all the time? I'm like, no. Cause I don't hang out with

00:43:28.540 people I hate. Yeah. I don't spend time with men I fucking hate. Like I don't do

00:43:32.460 that. So no, I'm not like this all the time. Right. Or the, like, it's, it's a

00:43:36.980 very slippery, it's very frustrating when people like, they're like, oh, well

00:43:40.580 clearly she's a bad person. How would you know that? Why are you like, don't, don't

00:43:45.980 people feel dumb commenting things? I know. Hate like no, just nonsensical hate. Or 0.97

00:43:51.060 it's like, I really didn't like her, but I didn't have a valid reason. And now

00:43:54.400 I do. Thanks for telling me. And it's like something made up. I've had that

00:43:57.880 about me too. Like people will just make people, men have created, talk about

00:44:02.200 fan fiction. Men have written the craziest fan fiction about me, like of who they

00:44:06.840 think I was and who, who I had to be in high school in order. I'm like, aren't

00:44:11.600 you 15? Aren't you also like, I was in high school 10 years ago. Like what the fuck?

00:44:15.840 You weren't even alive. Girl, you don't know anything about me from high school. I 1.00

00:44:20.040 know. And I was like, and I was just as annoying and funny in high school. Sorry

00:44:23.380 to say. Someone, someone, one time, someone made a video about me. This is like

00:44:29.180 years ago. And like, I wasn't nearly as successful. Um, so I was like pretty much

00:44:35.660 watching anything that I was tagged in and it was this girl and she was like, I

00:44:42.200 know Chapel Run. She's like, she's like, I'm not, I hate Pink Pony Club. I hate that

00:44:48.860 shit. But like, regardless, I know she made fun. She was the girl in high school 1.00

00:44:53.440 that got whatever she wanted and she made fun of the kids in special ed and

00:44:58.140 got away with it. What? And I was like, what a bizarre thing to say. Sounds like

00:45:03.340 you made people, you made fun of people. Yeah. I'm just like, what are you, um, first

00:45:08.580 of all, what does that mean? Yeah. Like that I have like, no, I just didn't know what it

00:45:13.180 meant. And so I, yeah. And I just like commented, I was like, ha ha ha ha. You're

00:45:17.220 so camp. Cause like, but now I don't like, you know, but that do it as much

00:45:21.840 anymore. That made me like, that made me like upset for real. Cause I was like, do

00:45:26.560 I give off that vibe? And it's like, even if I gave off the nicest vibe, someone

00:45:32.260 would, someone is still going to be like, yeah, she'll bully people if they have 1.00

00:45:36.320 like, I bet when the cameras aren't off, she's not like that. Well, yeah, probably.

00:45:42.340 I mean, probably a little different. Yeah. I think about it like whenever I'm on

00:45:47.940 tour or like whatever, like performing in an interview, like I'm clocked into

00:45:53.460 customer service mode. Yeah. Like when I'm like not on like literally not doing

00:46:03.780 somersaults. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not clocked in. I'm not at work right now. Yeah. So

00:46:08.760 if you think that I'm rude, bitch, are you going to get mad at your barista who you see 1.00

00:46:15.400 at the, at the mall and you're like, why aren't you, why are you being nice to you? You're 1.00

00:46:21.040 not acting the way that I saw you act on the stage at Gov Ball. Why don't you ask

00:46:24.120 about my day anymore? What do you ask I'm doing anymore? It's like, bitch, I'm not, I'm not 1.00

00:46:29.520 at work. Yeah. They feel very entitled to you as like a person once they 1.00

00:46:33.760 feel like they know you very well, which is upsetting for a lot of reasons. I'm

00:46:37.200 just like, I get what you mean though. Cause sometimes I, I'm so like aware of

00:46:42.580 like fan interaction so that you're like, so everyone gets a good experience. Cause

00:46:46.920 you're like, I don't want anyone to have a bad experience meeting me. And the ones

00:46:50.560 who say that they're like, where did you meet? Like one time someone wrote a

00:46:54.100 comment like that about me saying, um, at Coachella, I was walking around. Like I

00:46:58.600 owned the place with my posse and I was like, posse? What the fuck? You mean, you 1.00

00:47:03.500 mean Brittany Broski and then my sister and my boyfriend? Like what the fuck are you 1.00

00:47:07.580 talking about? Like she owned the place. What? And I said, when did you see me there? 1.00

00:47:13.420 Like, I don't, and so you didn't talk to me, you saw me from a distance and then

00:47:16.860 just assumed. Assumed. Yeah. Like I was, okay. That's what like freaks me out. I'm like, you

00:47:20.540 guys aren't like, like maybe sketched out that you're assuming stuff. Yeah. Like

00:47:25.580 you think you, because you assume it, it's true. Yeah. And you can't like, and

00:47:33.020 because you're a celebrity, they can't like, you can't prove them wrong. Like,

00:47:37.400 oh, then prove me wrong. What the fuck? Like it's so, it's so weirdly meta. It feels 1.00

00:47:41.240 very black mirror in that sense. Cause you're like, I'm fighting against, technically

00:47:44.240 speaking, we are fighting against bots because we don't know them and we don't, a

00:47:47.580 lot of times you don't have faces to their profiles or whatever. Totally. So we're just

00:47:50.480 fighting ghosts really, which I'm like, I'm not going to sit and prove I'm a good

00:47:53.360 person to millions of people on the internet. I feel like, no, that shouldn't

00:47:57.000 be up for debate. And also they only do that to women. So they do, they never do

00:48:00.760 that to men. And you know what, especially in the, being a gay girl. Yeah. You're 0.87

00:48:04.800 never an ally enough, no matter what. Yeah. Like it's just always something, always

00:48:09.460 something you could be doing better, which I'm homophobic. Let this be weird. Let

00:48:12.420 this be clear. Let it be known. I feel like I, I'm, I love making fun of

00:48:18.980 myself in a homophobic way, but like I'll fucking ride for trans, right? You 1.00

00:48:24.080 know what I mean? Like, absolutely. I will, I like, well, you don't have to talk

00:48:28.840 about it cause you are about it. That's how I feel. That's the other thing. It's

00:48:31.280 like, you're like being an ally is so much more than just like posting on your

00:48:34.460 story. Yeah. Occasionally. Yeah. And I'm like, no, I actually walk in that shit.

00:48:39.340 Like I've lived that shit. It's your actions. Like I'm not going to try to 1.00

00:48:42.460 like, that's, that's why I think about people who like just people online who

00:48:50.780 accuse of, you know, people in pop culture of not caring about a product, like

00:48:56.660 something that they really care about. It's like, they probably do. And aren't

00:49:00.800 like just disclosing that they're donating to the cause because that looks

00:49:04.020 performative. Yeah, totally. Or like, well, you would be accused of being

00:49:06.800 performative in that sense. Even if you did. Yeah. Even if you did. So I've, I've

00:49:10.040 had to talk about that too. Cause I've talked about even in my culture, like

00:49:12.540 in someone culture, uh, philanthropy, like we, we are a culture rooted in

00:49:17.080 service. So giving with no expectation of anything in return that includes

00:49:21.000 kudos, like talking about it. So like, I don't talk about a lot of the

00:49:24.620 philanthropy I do because that's not the point. The whole point is like to do it

00:49:28.820 cause you want to, not because you want to get praise for it. So also the way you

00:49:33.480 exist in the way the things you do now is literally like that's actively standing

00:49:39.720 up for and representing and pushing for it. You know what I'm saying? Pushing

00:49:42.700 things that you care about, which is important. That's why the people that know

00:49:45.800 you and love you know that you're about it. So you don't have to, that's why it's

00:49:49.820 like too much talking about it. Like I don't have to prove. That's why I said the

00:49:52.920 fucking Paul brothers gave one homeless guy a haircut and recorded the shit for 1.00

00:49:56.840 millions of views. And now I have to document every good thing I do. Every fucking 1.00

00:50:00.640 positive thing I do. I have to fucking film it and post it. To prove that. That I'm 0.99

00:50:04.640 a good person. That's all. I was like, I'm a good person. Look at me. Look what I

00:50:07.560 did. That's, it negates the point. I know, but it's sometimes it feels like you, I

00:50:12.620 want to do that because like, I feel so sad that people don't think otherwise.

00:50:18.360 People think otherwise. Cause I, that is like a deep fear of mine. Like probably,

00:50:24.000 probably my greatest fear is try my best to be a good person. And one, no one

00:50:30.000 believing me or two feeling like I'm failing. Yeah. Like I think that's my

00:50:34.360 deepest fear. That's the only thing that really like makes me like genuinely very

00:50:38.840 upset about having a platform or being visible. Yeah. Because then it feels like

00:50:43.020 it's never enough. Like no matter what you do, which is exhausting because you have

00:50:47.340 to work at the same. So you're entertaining at the same time you have to do

00:50:50.140 that. I know. So it's like balancing it. It gets hard. It's not like really any other

00:50:55.900 job because you are like the jack of all trades. Yeah. I have to be like, you are

00:50:59.940 creating literally like when people are bored, they go to you. So not only like,

00:51:06.860 or like music, you know? Um, and yeah, whatever. It gets very upsetting, but I

00:51:14.700 think what's beautiful about what it is you do is that you've been the same and

00:51:18.360 been consistent for a very long time in your activism and then platforming what

00:51:22.720 you care about. Even when you were on the tonight show and you gave Sasha Colby

00:51:25.860 credit for, uh, my, your favorite artist, favorite artists like that in and of

00:51:30.660 itself, that's, that's like platforming and standing up for marginalized groups

00:51:35.860 because Sasha's not only drag queen, she's also trans. Right. And she's 1.00

00:51:38.480 indigenous on top of that. So like, it's like a one, two, three, like that's 0.99

00:51:42.300 shit. That's like about it. You're about it. You don't have to talk as much 1.00

00:51:45.760 about it because you are about it. So I want to give you kudos. I'll give them to

00:51:49.180 you. Get behind me chapel. I'll fight whoever's mean to you. Bitch. 1.00

00:51:52.600 I give you, I've been, I give you kudos to like, you really like are not afraid 0.99

00:51:59.320 and, and that is so inspiring to be like, to like stand up for feminism. So

00:52:05.040 kudos to you. Thank you. I appreciate that. So to wrap us, right. I would love

00:52:10.460 to know what's your best piece of advice for anyone who maybe wants to get into

00:52:16.240 show business and maybe sits in a marginalized group currently and maybe

00:52:20.000 is a little afraid of that. Cause I, one thing I did see, I've seen a lot of

00:52:23.360 people who love you dearly talk about how like the way that you are, the way you

00:52:27.680 platform drag, the way you platform gay people in general, trans people in general,

00:52:31.580 like it inspires them and makes them feel safer. Like they can also be in the

00:52:36.340 industry too. So that's very powerful and that's something that they love about you

00:52:40.560 the most. So what would you say is your best piece of advice for them if they're

00:52:43.840 feeling a little afraid? Um, in general, I would say the best piece of advice I got

00:52:52.560 was like, you have to just do it yourself. Like you can't wait for like, maybe I'll

00:52:58.320 get like noticed or, you know, maybe I need a manager. I need a label. It's like, you

00:53:04.200 don't just do it yourself and it's good. You're going to have to be cringy. It just,

00:53:09.100 you just are. Embrace it. It's going to, it feels horrible. You have to do it. Embrace

00:53:14.160 the cringe. Every single artist has been cringey. Yeah. Either or is still is

00:53:22.800 unfortunately. Yeah. Um, but the way to do it is yourself at the beginning and it's the

00:53:29.660 hardest at the beginning because not only do you not have money, but you're also blindly

00:53:35.580 trying to figure it out. But luckily like, and that has to do with, you know, going in

00:53:41.000 like the queer community, dude, like that is like the queer community is a built in audience 0.99

00:53:50.080 in like a way of like, they fucking ride for gay people. Like, and I, I, I do too. It's 0.98

00:53:57.320 like the second that I hear someone is gay or like, I'm like, whatever you do, support it.

00:54:04.140 Like, you know, I'm in there. I'm streaming. So I think that, I think that some people,

00:54:10.580 it doesn't being queer, you never have to say it. You know, you don't have to, I know,

00:54:15.140 um, I talk about it a lot, but it never has to be at the forefront if you don't want it

00:54:20.720 to. Yeah. And like people who are scared, I, it is scary. I'm scared. I get it. I, this

00:54:29.300 is really, really hard and you don't have money like for like seven to 10 years, a long

00:54:35.040 time, a long, long time. But how I did it is like bait literally millions of baby steps.

00:54:42.880 And that's something about the career is like, it is rarely giant leaps. It is mostly baby,

00:54:50.020 baby, baby, baby steps. Um, all you have to do is take one baby step a day. You'll get

00:54:57.140 there. Look at you. Um, so I would say that. And I use, I still use my friends to like do

00:55:03.980 everything. Um, same actually like source in house. Exactly. That's what I mean by like

00:55:09.700 doing it yourself. Yeah. With your community. You have to source it. If you want it to be

00:55:14.080 right, you got to do the work and like you have to create the team of like, well, this

00:55:19.940 friend does like really cute, like graphic design or this one is like a really good photographer,

00:55:25.740 which is easy to find in LA. So like living in Missouri or like really anywhere else, it's

00:55:33.660 really hard to find groups of people like that. Totally. But like start following people that

00:55:40.500 you really like and see how they do it. Yeah. And like, that's how, yeah, it will come to

00:55:46.980 you if you want it. I also, also, I remembered too, when I had moon on, I was like, uh, who

00:55:52.060 are some other like queer artists that y'all are, are riding for right now? And they were

00:55:55.840 like, every time we say a name, they blow past us. They were like, like two years ago,

00:56:01.020 we were talking about chapel run and they were like, well, how much we were saying how much

00:56:04.840 we love her. And then she just exploded. They were like, so I'm not fucking talking about

00:56:12.160 anyone else. Every time they fucking blow past us. I was like, don't say that. That's 0.99

00:56:18.060 not true. They love you. They're a big fan of you. It's not true at all. I was like, well,

00:56:24.440 they're like, well, we're gay famous. That's different. Like chapel's gay and mainstream famous.

00:56:29.760 I think you're gay famous. I feel gay famous on Twitter. Um, like in WeHo and in WeHo. Yeah. 0.99

00:56:38.200 I'm like, but barely. Cause those are the type of the gays that if they see someone they love, 1.00

00:56:43.260 they'll go like this. And then they'll key with someone else about it. Yeah. And they'll be like, 0.98

00:56:49.140 whatever. Yeah. Like that. So like I'm gay Highland park famous. You know what I mean? Like Highland

00:56:56.280 park is like, um, Madam Pope, you know, like, like, I'm like myth Pope. Um, but in the real

00:57:04.360 world, I don't think it's hit me yet. Yeah. That's good. Stay in that bubble. It's scary. Cause

00:57:08.760 like, I realized that like now, like my security is like at risk at like airports and shit. Yeah. 0.93

00:57:16.700 And like, just like, I don't realize how much I'm being perceived anymore. So now I have to

00:57:23.220 be like careful about like, you know, walking to my car. Like people are going to know what

00:57:29.360 my car looks like now or like watching if people are following me when you're driving,

00:57:33.900 when I'm driving or to my house. Like, so yeah. Anyway, I don't know why I'm on that tangent.

00:57:40.740 It's all right. I, I would say, um,

00:57:44.260 advice for going, let's land the plane. Yeah.

00:57:54.720 If you're chill with everyone, not like, like your family probably being like this bitch, 1.00

00:58:01.820 like even when it comes to like drag or like wanting to do literally anything, 0.98

00:58:07.980 any kind of performance, performance, whatever. Got to be okay with people not taking you seriously.

00:58:14.100 Yep. Having no money and it taking many years. Yeah. That's it. You know, when I did something

00:58:21.220 this, when I worked this past weekend, I worked with like a big sports thing and the way that

00:58:26.560 men go, so like, what do you do on TikTok? And I'm like, you're really not going to like the

00:58:31.420 answer to that. I rip you apart. Yeah. That's what you were on TikTok. We would not be friends. 0.95

00:58:35.800 You hate me. You'd swap my house. Yeah. You would probably try to swap me. I just started going

00:58:41.580 on a tangent. Well, thank you so much, Ms. Chavarone for coming on. Thank you. You're a doll. I adore

00:58:47.000 you. I'm glad I found out we're twins in a lot of ways. Oh, we are. Look at us. You could, we have

00:58:51.680 a lot of likeness of us. We look exactly like, we look, if let me tell me the name of the Pilates

00:58:55.800 studio. I'll go and she'll probably ask the same thing. You look just like Chavarone. Has anyone told you?

00:59:01.680 I get that all the time too. I think people are like, are you Drew? Yeah. See?

00:59:06.040 Are you that fucking bitch from TikTok? That's what they say to you. They're going to say, 1.00

00:59:08.640 you look so much prettier in person. I'm going to be like, and you know what? Yeah, you're

00:59:12.940 right. I do. So what? Who cares? I filmed that video on the toilet. What do you want from

00:59:16.340 me? Want me a full beat on the fucking toilet? On the commode? Anyways, well, thank you so 1.00

00:59:20.860 much to the amazing Chavarone for joining us. Thank you all for joining us on this episode.

00:59:25.060 I know everyone on this godforsaken show already follows Chavarone, but where can everybody 1.00

00:59:28.680 find you? At Chavarone. Period. And do you have anything coming up that you would like to promo?

00:59:34.640 Well, I know you need the help, so. I do. Go ahead. Take your opportunity. Don't be a freak

00:59:38.640 to me in public. And also, um. Yes, please. Let her frolic. Let me somersault. Let her frolic. 0.99

00:59:45.660 For God's sake. But yeah, I mean, this year is going to be fucking awesome. Yeah. We just 0.96

00:59:51.300 announced a tour in the U.S. Period. And it's like the last leg of the Midwest Princess Tour,

00:59:56.400 so. Period. This is the last time if you want to come. I want to come. Come. She hasn't offered,

01:00:01.280 but that's okay. Come. That's really awkward, Chavarone. He didn't ask me once if I wanted

01:00:06.320 to come. Please come. Please come. I'll work the door at the Pink Pony Club. I'll work the

01:00:11.020 door. You have to be past me. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Well, thank you so much for coming

01:00:16.700 on the show. Thank you for having me. You're fucking a star. I can't wait to keep watching

01:00:20.300 you rise. Same. And then I'll just be picturing you watching Family Guy at home. When I, when

01:00:25.760 I pick, when. You watch Family Guy? When Stewie comes on, I'll be like, Drewie. It'll

01:00:30.980 be like that SpongeBob episode where him and Mr. Krabs are separated. It's like this kitchen's

01:00:35.880 not the same without you. That's you and me watching Family Guy on the opposite sides of

01:00:40.540 the world. At the same night, I'm going to think of you every time I watch it. Thank

01:00:45.440 you so much for joining us on this episode. Thank you so much to Ms. Chavarone. Don't forget
