The Comment Section with Drew Afualo - I’M AFRAID OF FRUIT Ft. The Beaches ｜ Episode 187

00:00:00.000 I'm afraid of fruit, like the food group.

00:00:03.740 Oh, just generally.

00:00:05.320 Have you heard of it?

00:00:05.860 Food group.

00:00:07.280 It's the peels.

00:00:08.240 It's the peels.

00:00:09.300 The peels mixed into the dirty Toronto snow.

00:00:12.260 It's like a minefield for me.

00:00:13.840 She doesn't go out.

00:00:14.740 We're not alone.

00:00:15.560 The one is Clemses.

00:00:16.400 She is inside.

00:00:17.640 Did you see how many clementines are outside my house? 0.98

00:00:19.980 I can't leave.

00:00:21.260 It's a minefield out there.

00:00:22.940 Hey, everyone, and welcome back to another episode of the comment section show.

00:00:32.340 Sorry, me, your fave.

00:00:33.320 Who cares about me?

00:00:34.220 On to the guests.

00:00:35.400 Today, we have the iconic, the legendary, the unbelievably talented, the Beaches.

00:00:39.860 Woo! 0.99

00:00:42.020 Thanks for having us.

00:00:43.100 Welcome to the show, ladies.

00:00:44.800 Should we go down the line so everyone can do their names just in case someone doesn't know?

00:00:48.380 I'm Kylie.

00:00:49.760 I'm Jordan.

00:00:51.040 I'm Leandra.

00:00:52.000 I'm Eliza.

00:00:52.940 And period.

00:00:53.860 And I'm Drew.

00:00:56.140 Are you joining the band?

00:00:57.360 Yeah, sure.

00:00:58.320 If you'll have me.

00:00:59.560 Can't sing.

00:01:00.140 Can't sing.

00:01:00.680 Can't play an instrument.

00:01:01.520 What do you got for me?

00:01:02.300 You bring the vibes.

00:01:03.180 Yeah, bring the vibes.

00:01:04.120 I can do that.

00:01:04.840 Yeah.

00:01:05.140 This episode is presented to you by eBay.

00:01:07.920 We all have that piece.

00:01:09.920 You know the one.

00:01:10.640 The thing that's so you, you've basically become known for it.

00:01:14.160 And if you don't have yours yet, you'll find it on eBay.

00:01:17.320 Let me put you on, team.

00:01:18.820 eBay is where you'll find those one-of-a-kind, can't-stop-researching,

00:01:21.960 stay up dreaming about pieces again and again.

00:01:25.140 I'm talking that off-the-runway red leather bomber you've had your eye on,

00:01:29.340 the trendy top with the cowboy on it, or that sleek fleece from the 2017 colorway.

00:01:34.340 All these finds are on eBay.

00:01:36.200 And they even offer millions of main character pieces backed by authenticity guarantee.

00:01:41.580 eBay is the place for pre-loved and vintage fashion.

00:01:44.480 eBay.

00:01:45.040 Things people love.

00:01:46.200 I recently said I'm trying to learn how to DJ.

00:01:49.300 Us too.

00:01:50.480 Are you really?

00:01:51.140 Yeah.

00:01:51.460 You're probably way further ahead than me in the process.

00:01:53.500 It's hard.

00:01:54.100 Because y'all are musicians.

00:01:55.620 I don't know.

00:01:56.200 It doesn't translate.

00:01:57.240 It's hard.

00:01:58.420 We had a coach.

00:02:00.160 We had a DJ friend of ours teach us.

00:02:02.700 And, like, she made a PowerPoint presentation for us.

00:02:05.420 It was very cute.

00:02:06.340 Oh, very cute.

00:02:06.900 Shout out DJ Levi.

00:02:07.840 CJ, DJ Levi.

00:02:08.980 Professor DJ Levi.

00:02:10.520 A PowerPoint?

00:02:11.380 My kind of girl, honestly.

00:02:12.560 Yeah.

00:02:13.540 And, well, to promote this new record, we wanted to, like, throw parties.

00:02:17.940 And we each took a turn spinning.

00:02:21.280 I wouldn't call it spinning.

00:02:22.560 Yeah.

00:02:23.840 Button pressing?

00:02:24.760 Button pressing.

00:02:25.440 Fading and fading out.

00:02:26.180 Yeah.

00:02:27.240 Fading and fading out.

00:02:28.580 Playing an iPad playlist.

00:02:30.200 Like, that's what we did.

00:02:31.020 Right.

00:02:31.680 I've said that before.

00:02:32.360 I'm like, I want to be the kind of DJ that's, like, on the ox.

00:02:35.800 Like, what do I do when I'm just queuing bangers?

00:02:38.260 Yeah.

00:02:38.380 She had, like, Usher and Evanescence next to each other.

00:02:41.820 Okay, see?

00:02:42.400 It was crazy.

00:02:43.740 Look at you.

00:02:44.360 But you faded in at one point, and it actually sounded like a car crash.

00:02:48.560 You also did a lot of, like, record scratching, too.

00:02:51.020 Yeah.

00:02:51.280 I'm kind of really good.

00:02:52.320 Yeah.

00:02:52.960 All right.

00:02:53.460 I'll say it.

00:02:53.880 I'm the best.

00:02:56.440 Well, I'm excited to have y'all.

00:02:58.380 Honored to have y'all.

00:02:59.540 Congratulations on the record.

00:03:01.140 Thank you.

00:03:01.800 How are we feeling?

00:03:03.340 Really good.

00:03:04.300 I mean, I was really nervous to put this out because it sort of came after the record.

00:03:10.640 The record that we had put out earlier was all about my breakup, and it was, like, very

00:03:14.600 personal, and it also, like, went viral.

00:03:17.300 So we were kind of feeling a lot of stress and pressure to follow up, blame my ex, and I

00:03:24.720 kind of got around it by, like, not writing about my experiences as much, but more, like,

00:03:29.440 leaning on the chaotic lives of my bandmates.

00:03:32.080 Oh, that's nice.

00:03:32.820 Yeah.

00:03:33.360 Okay.

00:03:33.860 They just had more cool stories, and they were going through, like, really bad breakups 0.98

00:03:40.920 and some really dramatic shit. 0.93

00:03:43.440 You're just staring straight at me. 0.99

00:03:44.780 She's like, I traumatized the first time, so it's someone else's turn.

00:03:48.500 It's exactly her.

00:03:50.000 Let's round robin.

00:03:51.200 Different traumas.

00:03:52.340 Well, before we get into that, into the new record, can y'all give me a little bit of

00:03:55.800 some tea on how y'all came to be?

00:03:57.620 Yeah.

00:03:57.820 I know you two are sisters, yes?

00:03:59.640 That's right.

00:04:00.200 You're sisters.

00:04:00.560 You're just like me and my sister.

00:04:01.640 Same face, different hair.

00:04:02.800 Yeah.

00:04:03.600 Same exact face, different hair.

00:04:04.940 Absolutely.

00:04:05.840 What's the age difference between you guys?

00:04:07.520 Two years.

00:04:08.140 Okay.

00:04:08.400 She's two years older than me.

00:04:09.100 Almost the same. 1.00

00:04:09.360 Oh, damn. 0.99

00:04:10.020 We're pretty close in age. 0.99

00:04:11.020 We're, like, 14 months.

00:04:12.360 Yeah.

00:04:12.780 Okay, Irish twins.

00:04:13.880 Irish twins.

00:04:14.400 Love that.

00:04:15.020 Irish twins.

00:04:15.960 And so we went to public school with Eliza, and we were forming a band when we, we've been

00:04:20.980 in a band since we were, like, 12 years old.

00:04:22.480 Love.

00:04:22.900 Yeah.

00:04:23.000 So we were on, like, the Disney Channel equivalent in Canada.

00:04:26.360 Did you feel represented by Freaky Friday?

00:04:28.880 Okay.

00:04:29.420 Tea, though.

00:04:29.920 We're also tea.

00:04:31.020 We have a song in Freakier Friday.

00:04:33.080 Okay.

00:04:33.540 I know.

00:04:34.160 Exciting.

00:04:35.180 Two songs.

00:04:35.460 Two songs.

00:04:36.000 Two songs.

00:04:36.680 Two actually.

00:04:37.800 Very full circle moment for us.

00:04:39.480 But anyway, continue.

00:04:40.100 That's so cool.

00:04:40.660 And then we started playing together in our band, Dumb with Dolls.

00:04:43.640 And Leandra actually was a super fan.

00:04:45.580 Super fan.

00:04:46.020 Of our Disney band.

00:04:47.160 And that's how we met her.

00:04:48.780 Okay.

00:04:49.820 I'm a freak.

00:04:50.740 Yep.

00:04:51.440 Absolutely.

00:04:52.200 Snuck my way in, didn't I?

00:04:53.240 She did.

00:04:53.920 Yeah, she did.

00:04:54.580 No, she actually became friends with our old member.

00:04:57.160 Yeah.

00:04:57.860 She did.

00:04:58.300 We don't talk about it a lot.

00:04:59.400 Yeah, literally.

00:05:01.580 Didn't you go to see Twilight with her?

00:05:03.380 Let's not talk about her.

00:05:06.460 But we became the beaches and had Leandra join when we were in high school.

00:05:10.420 And we've been doing that ever since.

00:05:11.580 That was, like, 13 years ago.

00:05:12.880 How exciting.

00:05:13.300 Yeah.

00:05:13.820 Do y'all remember your first, like, gig where you were like, oh, my God, this feels like,

00:05:17.340 for real.

00:05:18.100 Like, as a quad.

00:05:20.000 Yeah.

00:05:20.540 Well, I'd say actually the first show with you, probably.

00:05:22.980 The one at that, in Toronto, there was this place called The Riverside that we played at.

00:05:26.780 And it was our first show with Leandra.

00:05:28.080 And it was, like, it felt really good.

00:05:29.760 Because it felt, like, very natural.

00:05:31.340 And, like, we could keep doing this for many years.

00:05:33.080 And we did.

00:05:34.060 Yeah.

00:05:34.320 I mean, only our dads were there, pretty much.

00:05:36.400 Because it was really late.

00:05:37.060 And a couple drunk, like, locals.

00:05:38.120 Yeah.

00:05:38.900 It still felt good.

00:05:39.800 That's all you need.

00:05:40.600 Yeah.

00:05:41.080 Yeah.

00:05:41.460 Dads and...

00:05:42.120 I remember we had just come back from a writing session in L.A. and we played Riot

00:05:46.600 Fest, rest in peace, that's no longer there in Toronto.

00:05:49.600 And to me, like, that was the first time where it wasn't, like, just middle-aged people

00:05:53.960 coming to see us.

00:05:54.800 But, like, you know, younger folks.

00:05:58.360 Lesbians. 1.00

00:05:59.240 Lesbians. 1.00

00:05:59.920 Yes.

00:06:00.120 That's when they found you.

00:06:01.000 Yes.

00:06:01.220 Well, kind of.

00:06:01.760 Yeah.

00:06:01.900 I don't know if they were there yet.

00:06:02.800 They weren't quite there yet.

00:06:04.500 I wasn't out, so I would, like, stay away.

00:06:07.980 I was like, can't control.

00:06:09.100 Yeah.

00:06:09.720 Yeah.

00:06:09.840 Yeah.

00:06:09.960 Yeah.

00:06:10.160 Yeah.

00:06:10.200 Yeah.

00:06:10.240 Yeah.

00:06:10.360 Yeah.

00:06:10.800 Yeah.

00:06:10.880 Yeah.

00:06:10.920 Yeah.

00:06:10.940 Yeah.

00:06:10.980 Yeah. 0.75

00:06:12.880 That's so fucking cool. 0.61

00:06:14.460 Yeah. 0.90

00:06:14.800 When did you guys have, like, feel like you were like, okay, I think this is, like, real,

00:06:19.320 like, happening for us?

00:06:21.000 I think.

00:06:21.120 Because obviously you've been in the band for a long time.

00:06:22.800 Yeah.

00:06:23.300 Maybe when we got signed to Ireland out of high school.

00:06:26.120 Yeah.

00:06:26.220 Because then we were like, let's try doing this and not going to university.

00:06:29.340 Yeah.

00:06:29.940 Definitely.

00:06:30.540 And then we kind of, we actually were in L.A. a lot.

00:06:32.960 We would, we lived at this place called the Oakwood Apartments, which is, like, now called

00:06:36.300 Avalon.

00:06:36.980 No, Ava.

00:06:37.940 Ava.

00:06:38.300 We drove by Esther.

00:06:38.880 It's in Burbank.

00:06:39.640 Yeah.

00:06:39.920 Her name is Ava. 0.98

00:06:40.340 Literally just child actors and porn stars. 0.97

00:06:42.700 And then us. 0.64

00:06:43.220 And then us.

00:06:44.300 And then teenagers.

00:06:45.540 Yeah.

00:06:45.900 It was, like, a really tough area.

00:06:47.860 And the ghost of Rick James is there.

00:06:49.920 Oh.

00:06:50.200 That's right.

00:06:50.780 Nice.

00:06:50.940 He came to see me one night.

00:06:52.160 That's terrifying.

00:06:53.340 Were you scared?

00:06:53.960 He shook my bed.

00:06:56.280 Just my bed.

00:06:57.060 And I woke Kylie up and said, are you looking, are you seeing this bed?

00:06:59.020 And she's like, yeah, I see it shaking.

00:07:00.100 And she went back to bed.

00:07:01.500 She's like, yeah, go ahead.

00:07:03.180 Thank you.

00:07:04.560 I'm going to ignore that.

00:07:07.480 And then we started going on tour.

00:07:09.080 We toured in the UK a lot.

00:07:10.380 That's kind of where we got, like, a bit of our start, actually.

00:07:13.260 Oh, love.

00:07:13.520 Yeah.

00:07:13.700 Over there.

00:07:13.900 And then things kind of took off, like, more recently with Blaine Brett going viral on

00:07:20.860 TikTok.

00:07:21.480 That's kind of where we got, like, the worldwide success.

00:07:26.460 Whatever.

00:07:28.060 And you guys did Coachella this year.

00:07:30.020 Yes.

00:07:30.700 That's where we got to meet you.

00:07:31.960 Yes.

00:07:32.400 That is where we met drunk in the artist section.

00:07:34.960 I love that mess.

00:07:36.300 Teffy introduced us.

00:07:37.220 Yeah.

00:07:37.600 With Teffy.

00:07:38.220 Our angel Teffy.

00:07:39.160 I love Teffy.

00:07:39.520 We love that.

00:07:40.640 Oh, she knows everyone.

00:07:42.000 She's very connected.

00:07:43.100 She's very connected.

00:07:44.800 How was your Coachella set?

00:07:46.380 How exciting?

00:07:47.360 It was very fun.

00:07:48.300 It was very hot the first weekend.

00:07:49.640 Oh, girl.

00:07:50.360 I know.

00:07:51.720 It was so hot.

00:07:51.820 That's brutal.

00:07:52.460 But, no, it went super well.

00:07:53.520 We were all so nervous because, obviously, Coachella is, like, a bucket list, always has

00:07:57.320 been a bucket list item for us.

00:07:59.200 But it went super well.

00:08:00.560 The second weekend, I felt like, because the weather was better, it went a little bit better.

00:08:04.040 Oh, okay.

00:08:04.840 But, yeah, it was a dream for us.

00:08:06.360 And we partied the entire week in between.

00:08:09.100 Yeah.

00:08:09.640 Party.

00:08:10.180 Yep.

00:08:10.660 It was my birthday on the Lady Gaga night.

00:08:12.880 Oh, my God.

00:08:13.680 How exciting.

00:08:14.800 It was very, very great.

00:08:16.360 It was awesome.

00:08:17.060 See, that feels very, like, fate.

00:08:19.140 Yeah.

00:08:19.800 I missed you, Ruthie.

00:08:21.040 I had strep.

00:08:21.980 Yeah.

00:08:22.240 You were on a bit of a tear.

00:08:23.840 I was kissing too many people.

00:08:25.140 I was on one.

00:08:26.260 She was on one at Coachella.

00:08:27.960 Well, that's what happens when you're kissing a bunch.

00:08:29.820 That's right.

00:08:31.540 At least you didn't get mono.

00:08:32.640 That would have been worse.

00:08:34.820 There's still time, Leandra.

00:08:35.860 There's still time.

00:08:36.700 Don't worry.

00:08:37.140 The year's not over yet.

00:08:38.080 Yeah.

00:08:38.800 Well, you guys were touring.

00:08:39.960 You said you were touring a lot in the UK.

00:08:41.660 Hey, how was that?

00:08:42.840 It was really fun.

00:08:43.660 I mean, the four of us and our tour manager at the time, we did stay in, like, a one-bedroom

00:08:49.520 flat for a month.

00:08:51.080 Yeah, back in the day.

00:08:52.240 Yeah.

00:08:52.480 And Jordan did get mono and pneumonia.

00:08:53.560 I did get mono.

00:08:54.260 And pneumonia.

00:08:54.560 I got mono and pneumonia. 0.83

00:08:55.900 What the hell? 0.60

00:08:56.420 And a cat sprayed Kylie's open suitcase. 0.53

00:08:59.260 Yeah.

00:08:59.620 So everything's for the cat peeve.

00:09:01.260 It was pretty wild, but it also was, like, so bonding.

00:09:04.100 We were, like, 16.

00:09:05.360 Yeah.

00:09:05.500 And it was the first time, like, just running around London.

00:09:07.540 The fact that you were living to tell the tale.

00:09:09.420 No, I know.

00:09:09.820 As friends, still.

00:09:11.080 I know.

00:09:11.640 It's a testament to it.

00:09:12.880 We had to go to our high school.

00:09:14.500 We went to an arts high school in Toronto, and we were, like, can we go?

00:09:17.140 We're going on tour.

00:09:18.020 And they're, like, you can't just leave school for a month.

00:09:21.600 And you're, like, okay, well, I already bought the plane ticket.

00:09:24.920 They did threaten to expel us.

00:09:26.520 Which is kind of weird, because it was a music school.

00:09:28.620 You'd think they'd be, like, excited.

00:09:30.380 But they were, like, no.

00:09:30.920 Prepared for that?

00:09:31.440 D, fail.

00:09:32.320 You know what I mean?

00:09:32.800 Like, I still hold it against them, but it's fine.

00:09:36.200 Do you guys still like touring over there?

00:09:37.760 Do you like touring in general?

00:09:38.780 Yeah.

00:09:39.060 Yeah.

00:09:39.360 It's fun.

00:09:40.100 Yeah.

00:09:40.220 We were just there for a bunch of festivals.

00:09:41.800 Yeah.

00:09:42.300 Or we never went to the UK.

00:09:43.040 We're really big in Belgium for some reason.

00:09:46.500 Yeah, it's very strange.

00:09:47.440 They love the beaches in Belgium.

00:09:48.800 They do.

00:09:49.580 They do.

00:09:50.920 We've had, like, a couple number ones in that country.

00:09:53.500 Love.

00:09:53.900 It's very shocking.

00:09:55.660 Lori's like, no, we haven't.

00:09:56.720 No, we haven't.

00:09:57.760 My man's like, no, number ones.

00:09:59.880 They actually hate you guys.

00:10:01.140 Feel free to fact check me.

00:10:04.460 Also, we were, like, number one on a countdown for, like, a weekend playlist.

00:10:09.040 Not, like, a number one.

00:10:09.820 She's like, yeah, we were number one.

00:10:10.500 Hey, you know what?

00:10:10.920 That's the kind of delusion I'm on.

00:10:12.640 I'm like, I was at the top of the chart.

00:10:14.760 Really?

00:10:15.280 Really? 1.00

00:10:15.640 I ran that shit. 1.00

00:10:16.600 Who's going to correct me? 1.00

00:10:17.960 I'll confidently, like, spew misinformation all the time.

00:10:22.360 I feel so bad about it.

00:10:23.640 You can both.

00:10:24.140 I believe her.

00:10:24.760 But I'll say it so confidently.

00:10:26.080 I fact check all the time.

00:10:27.420 You guys hate it.

00:10:28.080 I will always call you out.

00:10:30.180 Always.

00:10:30.340 That's not true.

00:10:30.860 She's on stage everything.

00:10:32.380 She'll always hit you with a fact check. 1.00

00:10:34.140 Yeah.

00:10:34.440 You know what?

00:10:34.820 You need one like you, though.

00:10:35.920 You need delusion in the group, too.

00:10:37.120 Just a little bit.

00:10:37.940 You need a little bit.

00:10:38.660 The lead singer, I saw it.

00:10:39.680 I'm so happy to be here.

00:10:40.120 Like, isn't Nelly Furtado's from here? 0.99

00:10:41.620 And the crap was silent. 0.97

00:10:42.560 I was like, she's literally not from me. 0.99

00:10:44.220 In the mic, yeah.

00:10:45.060 Like, you should not from me. 0.99

00:10:45.840 No, the fuck she's not. 1.00

00:10:46.480 Don't ever say that about Nelly Furtado. 1.00

00:10:49.360 No, literally.

00:10:50.920 What are your guys' signs?

00:10:52.520 I'm a Cancer.

00:10:53.480 Aries.

00:10:54.280 Okay.

00:10:54.780 Virgo?

00:10:55.320 Aries.

00:10:55.880 I clocked the Virgo from a mile away.

00:10:57.920 Yeah.

00:10:58.120 Really?

00:10:58.640 The fact-checking, I was like, so Virgo.

00:11:00.280 Wait, what's your sign?

00:11:01.580 I'm a Virgo.

00:11:02.220 Oh.

00:11:02.640 Yeah.

00:11:03.000 So I'm also a know-it-all.

00:11:04.160 Tee! 1.00

00:11:04.480 I love that.

00:11:05.620 When's your birthday?

00:11:06.220 September 18th.

00:11:07.320 Wait.

00:11:07.940 September 20th. 1.00

00:11:08.700 Shut the fuck up. 1.00

00:11:09.680 Okay. 1.00

00:11:10.320 Tee, look at us.

00:11:11.060 And Nick Jonas' birthday, September 16th.

00:11:12.840 I know, because-

00:11:13.720 Well, I can't-

00:11:14.240 Yeah, it's obvious.

00:11:14.860 Tee, Tee, you have the biggest-

00:11:16.220 No, I don't know.

00:11:19.960 Lesbians for Nick Jonas. 1.00

00:11:21.240 I believe Kevin is November 5th.

00:11:24.260 Were you a big Jonas Miller fan?

00:11:25.680 Yeah.

00:11:26.320 Okay, Tee, so was I.

00:11:27.840 Yeah, but now I'm BFFs with Joe.

00:11:29.560 I'm gonna say BFFs.

00:11:30.660 That's my guy.

00:11:31.040 BFFs?

00:11:31.400 That's my dude.

00:11:31.580 It's okay.

00:11:32.120 We can lie on here.

00:11:32.940 I lie all the time.

00:11:33.900 Who's gonna contact me, not me?

00:11:35.240 I know, exactly.

00:11:36.200 Who's gonna correct me, Joe Jonas?

00:11:38.140 I say that about The Rock.

00:11:39.280 I'm like, that's literally my cousin.

00:11:40.680 That's literally my cousin.

00:11:43.020 I told him to be our best friends.

00:11:44.420 I'm like, me and him, we go way back.

00:11:46.800 We met twice.

00:11:47.740 He did tweet us one time.

00:11:49.640 One time.

00:11:50.340 Oh my God, I forgot about that.

00:11:51.680 Joe Jonas.

00:11:52.440 What was it?

00:11:53.520 Oh, Dwayne The Rock Johnson.

00:11:54.700 Okay.

00:11:55.040 It's when he was in Baywatch.

00:11:57.040 And I photoshopped all of our heads onto the poster.

00:12:01.560 And then he was like, I love this.

00:12:04.620 And then he checked out our music.

00:12:05.780 He's like, I love Give It Up.

00:12:06.980 I would love your music for our music.

00:12:08.080 I was like, he quote tweeted it with like a picture.

00:12:11.300 I was like, okay, you're doing too much.

00:12:12.260 He said, what 20 year old lesbian is running this again? 1.00

00:12:16.820 I was photoshopping. 0.93

00:12:18.260 I forgot about that.

00:12:19.460 I forgot.

00:12:19.980 You used to do a lot of Photoshop work for us.

00:12:22.540 I love that.

00:12:23.220 I got my cousin to do it.

00:12:24.640 You were working overtime on some stuff.

00:12:26.540 That's the best.

00:12:27.200 I love a crude Photoshop.

00:12:28.560 Yeah.

00:12:28.860 It's not supposed to look good.

00:12:30.060 It's supposed to look bad.

00:12:31.060 Exactly.

00:12:31.400 I think I was probably the rock.

00:12:32.460 You were Dwayne.

00:12:33.100 Yeah, of course, sure.

00:12:35.560 Me with a big bald head.

00:12:37.740 The biggest head on the biggest bod.

00:12:39.420 Yeah, there you go.

00:12:40.480 I love that you loved the Jonas Brothers.

00:12:42.460 So did I. 1.00

00:12:42.960 I was balls deep in that shit when I was young. 1.00

00:12:45.320 Kylie was in Camp Rock too. 1.00

00:12:47.120 No way.

00:12:47.780 Yeah, she was.

00:12:48.600 I was.

00:12:49.120 That's how I got my first guitar.

00:12:50.460 She was a junior rocker. 1.00

00:12:51.860 You were a junior rocker?

00:12:53.040 I was best friends with Frankie Jonas in the movie.

00:12:56.320 But they really skewered me.

00:12:58.460 They gave me like a funky pink hat in different forms every scene I was in.

00:13:02.980 Right.

00:13:03.400 So like these images just haunt me.

00:13:05.900 Like follow me around.

00:13:06.940 I'm always right behind Kevin Jonas.

00:13:09.900 Actually, the director did have to pull me aside at one point.

00:13:13.300 At one point and say, can you try to look a little happier?

00:13:16.340 You're supposed to be at summer camp.

00:13:18.940 And you're in Kevin's shot, by the way.

00:13:20.840 Yeah.

00:13:21.340 And then with that, my acting career came to an end.

00:13:24.200 Yeah.

00:13:24.580 Can you imagine though, like you're a preteen and you get to be in a movie with the guys

00:13:29.520 you have like the biggest crush on.

00:13:31.100 Right.

00:13:31.180 And the director gives you the ugliest hat to wear your entire suit.

00:13:34.080 You know what?

00:13:34.800 This is where my delusion comes in because I'd be like, well, obviously I'm going to stand

00:13:38.320 out.

00:13:38.780 Yeah.

00:13:39.160 You'll be able to see me from a mile away with this hat.

00:13:41.600 I did.

00:13:43.260 We recently watched it and played a drinking game.

00:13:45.240 Yeah.

00:13:45.420 Every time we see Kylie, we were like wasted within 10 minutes.

00:13:47.860 We did it.

00:13:48.420 Take a shot every time.

00:13:49.320 I didn't make it out.

00:13:50.420 So we dressed.

00:13:51.860 We have a fun story about this.

00:13:53.520 Oh, it's so good.

00:13:53.820 Please do.

00:13:54.280 We were doing a writing session and we were in, we were invited to a Halloween party.

00:14:00.380 In LA.

00:14:00.780 I think it, like Shannon invited us.

00:14:02.880 Yep.

00:14:03.200 Shannon.

00:14:03.360 Shannon.

00:14:03.700 Shannon.

00:14:04.220 At a bridge.

00:14:05.640 And, and we were like, let's dress up as the camp rockers.

00:14:09.440 That's so funny.

00:14:10.180 Like Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers.

00:14:11.760 Perfect.

00:14:12.000 And I think Eliza, you were like, I'm out.

00:14:14.120 I said, I'm out.

00:14:14.900 I said, I'm out.

00:14:15.660 I'm going to take one for the team.

00:14:16.760 It's fair.

00:14:17.180 Because the night went awry.

00:14:19.060 They're like, perfect.

00:14:19.960 Because we want to be the Jonas Brothers.

00:14:20.800 They're like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

00:14:22.760 Frankie is not making it out to me, so I'm like, literally, I was Kevin and everyone kept

00:14:27.900 asking me if I was Tegan and Sarah.

00:14:33.000 They're like, no, the Veronica's?

00:14:34.800 Okay, never mind.

00:14:35.800 And then, but what?

00:14:36.460 By the end of the night, you guys got so hammered that Kevin was like, on the side of

00:14:39.800 the, like, you were on the side of the road.

00:14:41.160 I passed out in the middle of the road, and Jordan had to find a man to come carry me

00:14:44.660 into a house.

00:14:45.640 Had to carry Kevin Jonas into the house.

00:14:47.100 Yeah, like, without the wig.

00:14:48.340 But Kylie got so wasted that she didn't even make it out.

00:14:50.700 Yeah.

00:14:50.940 And she was Nick, so it was Kevin and Joe.

00:14:53.360 Who doing?

00:14:54.120 And a redhead. 0.98

00:14:55.740 She didn't go.

00:14:56.720 She didn't go.

00:14:57.500 Oh, yeah.

00:14:58.280 Everyone was like, who, who are you?

00:15:00.100 Well, have you seen Camp Rock?

00:15:01.280 We were just two men.

00:15:02.240 Kevin and Joe.

00:15:02.880 Our Nick got drunk, okay?

00:15:04.460 Nick's not here.

00:15:05.180 Our Nick got drunk in order to talk about the wrong house.

00:15:09.440 She had a microphone. 0.95

00:15:10.540 I threw up all over it.

00:15:14.020 And that's what the Jonas Brothers would do.

00:15:15.880 Yeah.

00:15:16.120 Which would be quite awesome.

00:15:16.820 Yep.

00:15:17.100 Have y'all met the Jonas Brothers?

00:15:18.400 Yes.

00:15:18.700 Yes.

00:15:19.300 How was it?

00:15:21.000 It was true. 0.75

00:15:22.020 Dream come true.

00:15:23.100 They, they, we met them a couple times.

00:15:25.440 I think, like, the first time we properly met was they were doing a show in Vancouver,

00:15:29.680 and they had, like, a, like, a middle section of the set, and they would bring special

00:15:34.880 guests to perform.

00:15:35.640 They're still doing that.

00:15:36.440 I think they are.

00:15:37.180 And we played our songs.

00:15:38.340 Yeah, it was cool.

00:15:38.700 Oh, my God.

00:15:39.100 How fun.

00:15:39.460 And they, like, liked Blaine Brett, so we got to play it for them, which was sick.

00:15:43.160 Yeah.

00:15:43.840 It was really, really cool.

00:15:45.060 Yeah.

00:15:45.140 I have met them, too.

00:15:46.020 I wrote fanfic about them when I was, like, a child.

00:15:49.160 Is it, is it online?

00:15:51.140 Like, is it online?

00:15:51.560 No, I, I literally handwrote it like a colonial woman, but, yeah, I wrote, I wrote, I was

00:15:56.040 going to town on that thing.

00:15:57.320 That's amazing.

00:15:57.960 I need to see it.

00:15:58.660 I want to see it.

00:15:59.260 Have you told them?

00:16:00.520 No, I haven't, but I, it's funny because when they did their Broadway stint in New York

00:16:04.900 and did, like, five nights, five albums, whatever, I was like, I have to go to night

00:16:09.220 one and two, obviously.

00:16:10.860 So, like, I worked with SeatGeek to go and watch them.

00:16:14.360 Cool.

00:16:14.940 And my deliverable for them, like, my TikTok for them, I put in a video that my sister

00:16:19.000 and I made with my best friend at the time, and it was, like, a submission video to win

00:16:24.880 concert tickets and meet and greet for the Jonas Brothers.

00:16:27.980 And, like, my sister and I were like, okay, we have a whole plan, like, this, and we filmed

00:16:31.860 it, like, on a shitty little laptop, like, it's grainy and awful, and we filmed this

00:16:36.080 whole thing for, like, an hour, and then I showed it to my mom, and my mom was like,

00:16:39.140 this is not going to help you win.

00:16:41.040 We have to win this.

00:16:42.360 And then she, like, rewrote the whole thing.

00:16:44.360 We did, like, a skit and then put music in there and all that.

00:16:47.720 Worked painstakingly on that thing.

00:16:49.640 Blood, sweat, and tears.

00:16:50.300 Yeah, submitted it, and then we found out that my sister doesn't know anything, so,

00:16:55.020 like, it's a tri-state area only, and we live in California, so, like, we did all 0.64

00:16:59.340 of that work for fucking nothing. 1.00

00:17:01.640 We submitted it, and I was like, you idiot, to my sister. 1.00

00:17:05.160 I wonder if they still saw it, though. 0.97

00:17:06.980 Well, the reason why is because when I did my SeatGeek video for them, I put that video

00:17:11.640 in my SeatGeek video, like, just basically showing what I did and then what I'm doing

00:17:15.740 now, watching them, and then their team saw that video and then asked me, do you want

00:17:20.720 to come watch them in L.A., like, and make content with them?

00:17:23.120 And I was like, yeah!

00:17:24.200 Yeah!

00:17:25.280 Yes, actually, I would love to do that.

00:17:27.440 So, actually, the video did help you in the long run.

00:17:29.160 It did, and yeah, in the long run, Jason was like, I knew the whole time.

00:17:32.920 There we go.

00:17:34.920 There we go.

00:17:35.920 But they're nice.

00:17:36.920 They're teeny tiny, but they're nice.

00:17:37.920 Oh, yeah.

00:17:38.920 They are.

00:17:39.920 They're itty-bitty, itty-bitty small.

00:17:40.920 I was with Jo last week, so.

00:17:41.920 I know.

00:17:42.920 She was yapping with Jo.

00:17:43.920 Y'all were yapping together.

00:17:44.920 He's funny.

00:17:45.920 He's nice.

00:17:46.920 He's funny.

00:17:47.920 Kevin was very, he was, like, the most talkative.

00:17:48.920 Nick didn't really talk at all when I met them, but, like, Kevin was, like, his very older

00:17:51.920 brother.

00:17:52.920 Yeah.

00:17:53.920 Like, you know, he greets everyone.

00:17:54.920 He, like, directs all of it.

00:17:55.920 Very nice.

00:17:56.920 Well, I was really excited.

00:17:57.920 I'm afraid of fruit, like the food group.

00:18:01.920 Oh, okay.

00:18:02.920 Just generally.

00:18:03.920 Have you heard of it?

00:18:04.920 Fruit group.

00:18:05.920 No fruit, yeah.

00:18:06.920 Really crazy jump.

00:18:07.920 No, well, I just found out Kevin-

00:18:08.920 I don't know where she's going.

00:18:09.920 I found out Kevin Jonas has the same phobia.

00:18:11.920 Yes.

00:18:12.920 Oh.

00:18:13.920 Of fruit?

00:18:14.920 Yeah.

00:18:15.920 Is it just, like, the site of it, or?

00:18:16.920 Kind of.

00:18:17.920 Like, the worst is, like, Clementine season in Toronto.

00:18:18.920 I call it Clementine season.

00:18:19.920 Okay.

00:18:20.920 It's just-

00:18:21.920 Have you heard of it Clementine season in Toronto, specifically?

00:18:24.920 They're-

00:18:25.920 It's also just known as the winter.

00:18:26.920 Right?

00:18:27.920 You can call it winter, too.

00:18:28.920 It's something known as the summer to February.

00:18:30.920 Is it just, like, seeing too many in one space?

00:18:32.920 I just, like, like-

00:18:34.920 It's the peels.

00:18:35.920 It's the peels.

00:18:36.920 The peels mixed into the dirty Toronto snow.

00:18:38.920 It's, like, a minefield for me.

00:18:40.920 She doesn't go out.

00:18:41.920 We're not alone.

00:18:42.920 When it's Clemsies, she is inside. 0.80

00:18:44.920 Did you see how many Clementines were outside my house? 0.93

00:18:46.920 I can't leave.

00:18:47.920 It's a minefield out there.

00:18:49.920 I don't know if you ever knew one time you pissed all of us off.

00:18:52.920 So we took a peel and we rubbed it on your base strings.

00:18:55.920 Probably, like, a decade ago.

00:18:56.920 Oh! 0.60

00:18:57.920 And we're just talking to you now?

00:18:59.920 This'll get her.

00:19:00.920 She hates the peels.

00:19:02.920 No, for real.

00:19:03.920 She's not gonna be able to stop thinking about that now.

00:19:05.920 That's gonna get annoying.

00:19:06.920 Her getting a chill down her spine.

00:19:08.920 I forgot about that.

00:19:09.920 I literally can't talk to you ever again.

00:19:11.920 Oh, my God.

00:19:12.920 Can you leave?

00:19:13.920 A general feeling of-

00:19:15.920 Oh, you know what?

00:19:16.920 You were sharing your base, and you reached in your hands-

00:19:19.920 No!

00:19:20.920 Oh! 0.60

00:19:21.920 So there's something worse on there than Clementines.

00:19:24.920 You reached in your face and scratched.

00:19:26.920 And then touched your base.

00:19:27.920 He's like, can you not?

00:19:29.920 I have to use that!

00:19:30.920 This is such, like, sister fight.

00:19:32.920 How could you-

00:19:33.920 How could you share this right now?

00:19:34.920 You're-

00:19:35.920 You itchy- 0.99

00:19:36.920 You itchy your crotch and touch your base strings, that's okay. 1.00

00:19:39.920 But when I rub a Clementine on there all of a sudden- 0.99

00:19:41.920 Oh, my God.

00:19:43.920 That's insane.

00:19:45.920 Okay.

00:19:46.920 Okay.

00:19:47.920 Oh, my God.

00:19:48.920 What are you gonna get to?

00:19:49.920 And that was to ward them from touching your base?

00:19:51.920 Yeah.

00:19:52.920 Maybe.

00:19:53.920 I don't know.

00:19:54.920 Probably.

00:19:55.920 I don't know.

00:19:56.920 I don't know why I was doing this. 0.87

00:19:57.920 I'm disgusting. 0.72

00:19:58.920 Yeah. 0.98

00:19:59.920 I was like, oh, if you're gonna touch the base with the thing I hate the most, 1.00

00:20:01.920 vagina, I wasn't gay yet. 1.00

00:20:03.920 I hate those. 1.00

00:20:04.920 I hate those. 0.92

00:20:05.920 You were personally-

00:20:06.920 You felt personally attacked by them.

00:20:07.920 Let me in.

00:20:08.920 You heard of her?

00:20:09.920 I'm gonna touch it with your least favorite thing, Clementine. 0.99

00:20:13.920 Yo, let's go crotch for Clementine. 1.00

00:20:15.920 How's that? 0.98

00:20:16.920 Really? 0.99

00:20:17.920 I see your crotch. 0.99

00:20:18.920 I match you a Clementine. 0.99

00:20:19.920 I'm racing Clementine.

00:20:20.920 Okay.

00:20:21.920 That's a very strange phobia.

00:20:22.920 Yeah.

00:20:23.920 I've never heard of that.

00:20:24.920 No.

00:20:25.920 It's her grandfather.

00:20:26.920 My grandfather grew up during the Depression, and he didn't ever want to waste food.

00:20:31.920 I love it's always my grandfather.

00:20:33.920 Our grandfather.

00:20:34.920 Our grandfather.

00:20:35.920 Sorry.

00:20:36.920 It's like, Carly doesn't exist.

00:20:37.920 Sorry.

00:20:38.920 Our grandfather grew up during the Depression, didn't want to waste food, so he would put

00:20:42.920 spoiled fruit in our porridge as children, so that it got eaten.

00:20:47.920 And I just remember eating a rotten grape and being like, I'm good.

00:20:50.920 I'm smarter for life.

00:20:51.920 I don't remember this.

00:20:52.920 We grew up in the same house, so.

00:20:53.920 Yeah.

00:20:54.920 Yeah.

00:20:55.920 Ate the same porridge.

00:20:56.920 Yeah.

00:20:57.920 I'm unfazed by it.

00:20:58.920 I don't know.

00:20:59.920 I thought I would get over it, because I've gotten over, like, I was a picky eater as

00:21:03.920 a kid, and I got through, like, I got over everything else.

00:21:06.920 But for some reason.

00:21:07.920 Something about fruit.

00:21:08.920 Something about fruit.

00:21:09.920 Yeah.

00:21:10.920 I feel that.

00:21:11.920 I have, like, what I think is called megalophobia.

00:21:13.920 What's that?

00:21:14.920 Oh, yes.

00:21:15.920 Fear of, like, really large things.

00:21:16.920 Yes.

00:21:17.920 But, like, things that are not meant to be that big, I guess, naturally.

00:21:21.920 But I say that, but whales.

00:21:22.920 Yeah, essentially.

00:21:23.920 Right.

00:21:24.920 It's really, like, whales.

00:21:26.920 I was going to say, like, it's usually ocean things.

00:21:28.920 Yeah.

00:21:29.920 For the most part.

00:21:30.920 But even, like, those blue avatars, like, yeah, you need to get away from me.

00:21:34.920 Oh.

00:21:35.920 Like, I love those movies, but, like, when I see them in, like, Walt Disney World or whatever 0.92

00:21:38.920 the fuck. 0.95

00:21:39.920 Yeah, I know. 1.00

00:21:40.920 And they're in those little tubes.

00:21:41.920 Yeah.

00:21:42.920 Yeah.

00:21:43.920 Like, I remember when they had first put Star Wars in Disneyland.

00:21:50.920 Yeah.

00:21:51.920 I was, like, we were walking around once.

00:21:53.920 This was, like, my early 20s.

00:21:55.920 And we were, like, just kind of casually walking around and Chewbacca was there.

00:21:59.920 I had a full-blown panic attack.

00:22:00.920 He's a big guy.

00:22:01.920 Yeah.

00:22:02.920 And my mom was like, let's go take a pic. 0.99

00:22:03.920 And I was like, you don't understand.

00:22:04.920 Like, if that thing looks at me, I'm going to have to do something.

00:22:08.920 And then I'm going to get banned from Disneyland for the rest of my life.

00:22:11.920 Something about that gives me fear.

00:22:13.920 Chewbacca won't make it past today. 1.00

00:22:15.920 No.

00:22:16.920 Trust me when I say he's not going to make it.

00:22:17.920 Chewbacca's not making it home. 1.00

00:22:18.920 Yeah.

00:22:19.920 No.

00:22:20.920 So I get it.

00:22:21.920 Do the rest of you have any weird phobias?

00:22:23.920 I really don't like cotton balls.

00:22:25.920 Yes.

00:22:26.920 Like, that's a big one for me.

00:22:27.920 Like, the texture.

00:22:28.920 The way that they feel.

00:22:29.920 Like, if there's, like, an Advil bottle or a cotton ball inside, like, I can't get it

00:22:33.920 out.

00:22:34.920 I mean, it's also kind of a nightmare for me, because all, like, the...

00:22:36.920 It's not even, like, spiderwebs.

00:22:37.920 It's just, like, the cotton.

00:22:38.920 The cotton.

00:22:39.920 Like, the cotton.

00:22:40.920 I really don't...

00:22:41.920 Yes.

00:22:42.920 It's hard for me.

00:22:43.920 That's why Nick got too drunk and didn't make it to the Halloween party, really.

00:22:45.920 Yeah.

00:22:46.920 That's what happened.

00:22:47.920 There was just too many cotton spiderwebs everywhere. 0.54

00:22:49.920 That's my main thing.

00:22:50.920 You guys don't...

00:22:51.920 You guys just really don't like bugs.

00:22:52.920 Spiders.

00:22:53.920 Spiders.

00:22:54.920 Just, yeah.

00:22:55.920 Not anything, like, weird.

00:22:56.920 You know what I mean?

00:22:57.920 Yeah.

00:22:58.920 I like those two, but, like, ours are more...

00:22:59.920 No, yeah, yeah.

00:23:00.920 But now we just, like, started befriending bugs.

00:23:03.920 Like, she used to be terrified.

00:23:04.920 Now she's, like... 0.91

00:23:05.920 No, I am terrified, but I don't want to kill them.

00:23:06.920 Yeah.

00:23:07.920 Oh, that's nice, though.

00:23:08.920 It's very sweet.

00:23:09.920 It's actually sweet.

00:23:10.920 Yeah, but, like, I picked up a cockroach the other night.

00:23:13.920 Oh, you kissed it. 1.00

00:23:14.920 That was really fucked up. 0.99

00:23:15.920 I was blackout. 0.99

00:23:16.920 Okay, well, that makes more sense.

00:23:17.920 Yeah.

00:23:18.920 I said, you lost me there, but, uh...

00:23:19.920 Didn't you throw it into the...

00:23:20.920 Air one.

00:23:21.920 Air one?

00:23:22.920 Yeah.

00:23:23.920 They could use a few roaches.

00:23:25.920 They need it.

00:23:26.920 Drive the price down a little bit.

00:23:27.920 You gotta infest it so that it's cheaper.

00:23:30.920 We went for the first time, and it's just, like...

00:23:32.920 It's such a trip, being, like, from Canada.

00:23:34.920 We don't really have anything like that.

00:23:36.920 No.

00:23:37.920 Oh, yeah, you guys don't spend $30 on one crust juice?

00:23:40.920 Actually, it's...

00:23:41.920 It's $45 Canadian.

00:23:42.920 $45 Canadian.

00:23:43.920 That's real.

00:23:44.920 The conversion is crazy.

00:23:45.920 That's so true.

00:23:46.920 Oh, my God.

00:23:47.920 But it was a trip going in there for the first time.

00:23:48.920 Loved it.

00:23:49.920 I'm a star star.

00:23:50.920 Could have spent hours in there, actually.

00:23:51.920 I know.

00:23:52.920 Honestly, when I go in the air one, I see at least two famous people, and that's not a joke.

00:23:56.920 Like, I see them all.

00:23:57.920 Who have seen an air one before?

00:23:58.920 I saw...

00:23:59.920 We saw Hannah Einbinder in there once. 0.98

00:24:02.920 Oh, yes.

00:24:03.920 Ooh.

00:24:04.920 Yeah, we saw her walk around. 1.00

00:24:05.920 She was looking at soups.

00:24:06.920 Oh, I love that. 1.00

00:24:07.920 Damn. 0.99

00:24:08.920 Yeah. 0.99

00:24:09.920 I saw Max Greenfield buying a rotisserie chicken there.

00:24:10.920 Oh, nice.

00:24:11.920 He gives rotisserie...

00:24:12.920 He gives a rotisserie chicken guy.

00:24:13.920 Yeah.

00:24:14.920 It was pretty cool.

00:24:15.920 Especially from air one, I bet.

00:24:16.920 Yeah.

00:24:17.920 Was that like $60?

00:24:18.920 Yeah.

00:24:19.920 For real.

00:24:20.920 So, you guys are from Canada.

00:24:21.920 Yeah.

00:24:22.920 I actually went to Canada for the first time this year.

00:24:24.920 Did you?

00:24:25.920 But I went to Vancouver. 1.00

00:24:26.920 Oh, damn. 1.00

00:24:27.920 Cool. 0.99

00:24:28.920 That's a good place to go.

00:24:29.920 I did a show there.

00:24:30.920 I was like, it was so nice.

00:24:31.920 What'd you think?

00:24:32.920 Yeah.

00:24:33.920 I loved it.

00:24:34.920 I think...

00:24:35.920 I will say this with love, Canada. 1.00

00:24:36.920 All of you are terrible fucking drivers. 1.00

00:24:37.920 I don't know what's going on up there. 1.00

00:24:38.920 True.

00:24:39.920 No, not true. 0.98

00:24:40.920 The Americans are terrible drivers though. 1.00

00:24:41.920 Stop lights and red lights and all of that light suggestion. 0.95

00:24:44.920 Like, the way they drive feels like I'm in Mario Kart.

00:24:47.920 Like, it's very like...

00:24:48.920 Wow.

00:24:49.920 You know what I'm saying?

00:24:50.920 Like, every Uber I took, I was like, I'd rather walk.

00:24:51.920 Like, this is terrible.

00:24:52.920 Yeah.

00:24:53.920 But also, you're the fastest walkers in the history of time.

00:24:56.920 Yeah.

00:24:57.920 That too.

00:24:58.920 That is true.

00:24:59.920 We do like to walk.

00:25:00.920 The Toronto walk is like, you can spot it from a mile away.

00:25:02.920 Like, you're the fastest person.

00:25:04.920 Yeah.

00:25:05.920 And like, with purpose and you look real casual, but you are running.

00:25:07.920 Like, you're two steps from a sprint at that point.

00:25:09.920 Absolutely.

00:25:10.920 Yeah.

00:25:11.920 And like, my agent Alex, who I introduced to you guys at Coachella, she's Canadian. 0.72

00:25:15.920 So she's from Vancouver.

00:25:17.920 But she is the fastest walker in the history of time.

00:25:20.920 And we've joked about it for years.

00:25:22.920 Like, even when we went to Paris together, at one point, I was like, you know what?

00:25:26.920 If God wants me to find you, I will find you. 1.00

00:25:28.920 Like, I was like, I can't keep up, bitch. 1.00

00:25:30.920 I am tired and it's hot. 0.99

00:25:32.920 Like, she was just...

00:25:33.920 Oh my God.

00:25:34.920 I would turn around and I'd see her back 40 yards away. 0.98

00:25:36.920 I'm like, how did you get over there?

00:25:38.920 Like, she's so small. 0.99

00:25:39.920 She walks so fucking fast. 1.00

00:25:40.920 That's... 0.99

00:25:41.920 Yeah.

00:25:42.920 I think the guy who wins gold in, like, speed walking or whatever in the Olympics every

00:25:46.920 year is a Canadian.

00:25:47.920 Wow!

00:25:48.920 Like, someone should check that out.

00:25:49.920 I think that's real.

00:25:50.920 I think that's a surprise.

00:25:51.920 That's probably from Toronto, too.

00:25:52.920 Like, I think he's a Torontonian.

00:25:54.920 And he's, like, wearing a suit in the race with a blue face. 0.69

00:25:56.920 Can we back check that?

00:25:57.920 Yeah.

00:25:58.920 Yeah.

00:25:59.920 I believe it, honestly.

00:26:00.920 It's not gonna be...

00:26:01.920 It smells so beautiful up there.

00:26:02.920 Yeah.

00:26:03.920 The streets are so clean.

00:26:04.920 Everything was so wonderful.

00:26:05.920 Did you hear a lot of stories?

00:26:06.920 And, like...

00:26:07.920 Like, of Canadian events.

00:26:08.920 No.

00:26:09.920 Sorry.

00:26:10.920 Sorry.

00:26:11.920 Oh, sorry.

00:26:12.920 It's true.

00:26:13.920 It's true.

00:26:14.920 I just hold all the highest records.

00:26:16.920 Yes!

00:26:17.920 Okay.

00:26:18.920 I'm so glad you looked that up.

00:26:20.920 I'm gonna tell my friend Alex that.

00:26:22.920 She always gets, like, I don't walk that fast. 0.99

00:26:24.920 I'm like, bitch, yes, you do. 1.00

00:26:25.920 You leave me in the dust. 1.00

00:26:27.920 She's, like, 5'3".

00:26:28.920 Yeah.

00:26:29.920 She's, like, 5'3".

00:26:30.920 I'm like, I have way longer legs than you and I can't keep up.

00:26:33.920 She should compete.

00:26:34.920 Yeah.

00:26:35.920 Yeah.

00:26:36.920 She should get her in the races. 1.00

00:26:37.920 Yeah, girl. 1.00

00:26:38.920 And your guys' weed up there on lock, bitch. 1.00

00:26:40.920 It's good. 1.00

00:26:41.920 It's good.

00:26:42.920 Like, when we landed, I said, I need someone take me to a dispenser immediately.

00:26:45.920 I'm trying to see what they're on.

00:26:46.920 And they're, like, every...

00:26:47.920 They're, like, a Starbucks.

00:26:48.920 They're every two steps.

00:26:49.920 Yeah.

00:26:50.920 It's, like, every seven...

00:26:51.920 There's a 7-Eleven?

00:26:52.920 A weed store.

00:26:53.920 I know.

00:26:54.920 I think, like, mushrooms are legal in Vancouver now, too.

00:26:55.920 Oh, yeah, yeah.

00:26:56.920 They're mushroom stores.

00:26:57.920 Oh, that's right, because they told me that when I was up there.

00:26:58.920 Yeah.

00:26:59.920 And I remember, I went into one, and they had, like, this tube system that went on the top.

00:27:04.920 And they would, like, you just order on an iPad, and it would, like, shoot, like, 0.99

00:27:07.920 the fucking Jetsons. 1.00

00:27:08.920 Yeah. 1.00

00:27:09.920 This is how y'all living up here?

00:27:12.920 Also, if the weather was better, I'd entertain it.

00:27:14.920 Yeah.

00:27:15.920 It is crazy.

00:27:16.920 If the weather was nicer.

00:27:17.920 How many, like, per block, how many, like, dispensaries are there in LA?

00:27:20.920 Because, like, in Toronto and in Vancouver, there's, like, three a block.

00:27:23.920 It's insane, yeah.

00:27:24.920 Yeah, I would say far less than that.

00:27:26.920 I would say at least one, now that it's been legalized for a while now.

00:27:29.920 But, like, still, like, there, I'm, like, stones throw, I'd find one.

00:27:32.920 Yeah.

00:27:33.920 Yeah. 0.71

00:27:34.920 Which is fucking awesome. 0.97

00:27:35.920 But y'all have some pretty good weed here, too, in California. 0.98

00:27:36.920 Yeah.

00:27:37.920 It's pretty good.

00:27:38.920 Very true.

00:27:39.920 I'm a fan.

00:27:40.920 I had, like, a little, it's funny because I got a pen from a dispensary up there in Vancouver.

00:27:43.920 I still have it.

00:27:44.920 But it looks like a little, like, bluey phone.

00:27:46.920 Like, they look like little kid things.

00:27:48.920 Like, I don't know why they look so cartoony.

00:27:50.920 No. 1.00

00:27:51.920 And when I took two hits, I said, holy fuck. 1.00

00:27:53.920 Like, I was like, there's straight gas in that thing. 1.00

00:27:56.920 Yep.

00:27:57.920 Which I love. 1.00

00:27:58.920 Huge fucking fan. 1.00

00:27:59.920 Hell yeah. 0.99

00:28:00.920 So I want to loop back to your guys' very successful, awesome career.

00:28:03.920 Thanks.

00:28:04.920 Well, tell me more about the new record first.

00:28:06.920 Um, we're super proud of this record.

00:28:08.920 Yeah.

00:28:09.920 It's our gayest record. 0.99

00:28:10.920 Yeah.

00:28:11.920 Yeah.

00:28:12.920 Thanks.

00:28:13.920 And I look at you.

00:28:14.920 Okay. 0.99

00:28:15.920 Or in-house gay. 0.98

00:28:16.920 Yeah. 0.98

00:28:17.920 Yeah.

00:28:18.920 And, yeah, we've been working on it for the past two years.

00:28:21.920 It was kind of, like, inspired by Sex and the City.

00:28:23.920 It was.

00:28:24.920 Ooh, tea.

00:28:25.920 Okay.

00:28:26.920 Yes.

00:28:27.920 I really like how, in that show, you get the perspectives of four different women.

00:28:30.920 Mm-hmm.

00:28:31.920 And there's always, like, a common theme that sort of threads all of their relationship

00:28:35.920 stories together.

00:28:36.920 Yeah.

00:28:37.920 Like, it's BDSM, or cheating, or something else.

00:28:40.920 My favorite things, yeah.

00:28:41.920 Yeah.

00:28:42.920 That's pretty much it.

00:28:43.920 Yeah.

00:28:44.920 Other stuff, too.

00:28:45.920 Or clothes.

00:28:46.920 Whatever.

00:28:47.920 And I like-

00:28:48.920 Cheating or clothes.

00:28:49.920 Cheating or clothes.

00:28:50.920 But I really like how the show sort of uses, like, the perspectives of four different women

00:28:57.920 to talk about, like, a specific theme.

00:28:59.920 I love that.

00:29:00.920 And I wanted to do that with us and sort of do it with a record, you know?

00:29:04.920 Love.

00:29:05.920 Have this record be, like, our brunch table.

00:29:08.920 Cute. 0.99

00:29:09.920 Where we do our debriefs about all the crazy shit we do. 0.99

00:29:12.920 I love that. 0.99

00:29:13.920 Yeah.

00:29:14.920 How do you guys like to put records together?

00:29:15.920 Do you guys, like, set aside time?

00:29:17.920 Do you, like, wait for inspiration to strike?

00:29:19.920 What's your guys' process look like?

00:29:21.920 It was tough.

00:29:22.920 Like, after, because Blade and My Ex was such a surprise hit, we kind of had to do a lot

00:29:28.920 of catch-up.

00:29:29.920 So we got to tour all over the place.

00:29:32.920 We went to Australia.

00:29:33.920 Ooh, cool.

00:29:34.920 Really, really sick.

00:29:35.920 But it meant that the time that we had to sort of follow it up was, like, a lot smaller.

00:29:40.920 And at the end of that record cycle, I was like, all I've been doing is eating salads

00:29:44.920 in different cities.

00:29:45.920 Like, I have nothing to write about.

00:29:47.920 Yeah.

00:29:48.920 But you guys had so many...

00:29:49.920 Yeah.

00:29:50.920 You guys were kind of going through your own...

00:29:52.920 I was eating my own salads in different cities.

00:29:55.920 My own version of that.

00:29:56.920 Yeah.

00:29:57.920 It's amazing.

00:29:58.920 And, like, one day, I think Leandra was going through a breakup and she's like,

00:30:03.920 I haven't been able to masturbate since me and blank broke up.

00:30:08.920 Yeah. 0.97

00:30:09.920 And I was like, that is so true.

00:30:10.920 Like, after my bad breakup, like, I couldn't use my vibrator for, like, three months.

00:30:14.920 I just wanted to cry.

00:30:15.920 I just wanted to cry.

00:30:16.920 I was really devastated by it.

00:30:18.920 Every time you get it, you're like, God, I just can't.

00:30:21.920 Yeah.

00:30:22.920 When you look at it, you're like, not yet.

00:30:23.920 Because you can't...

00:30:24.920 Because, like, you don't want to think about your ex in a sexual way.

00:30:27.920 And, like, sometimes when you're so heartbroken, that's, like, the only thing you can do.

00:30:30.920 And I'm like, that's so relatable and so funny.

00:30:32.920 Yeah.

00:30:33.920 Yeah.

00:30:34.920 And then we wrote Touch Myself.

00:30:35.920 Then we wrote Touch Myself based on that.

00:30:36.920 Okay.

00:30:37.920 Because I had a dream.

00:30:38.920 I woke up.

00:30:39.920 I had a spicy dream about Jeremy Allen White.

00:30:41.920 Yeah.

00:30:42.920 And I said, Jordan, I'm ready.

00:30:44.920 I'm ready.

00:30:45.920 I got it.

00:30:46.920 Bring her to me.

00:30:48.920 Or being a vibrator.

00:30:49.920 Are you a big fan of the bear?

00:30:50.920 I'm a fan.

00:30:51.920 I'm a big fan.

00:30:53.920 I'm a big fan.

00:30:54.920 I love that show.

00:30:55.920 It's so good.

00:30:56.920 Right.

00:30:57.920 It's so good.

00:30:58.920 It was.

00:30:59.920 It was so good.

00:31:00.920 I just recently watched it.

00:31:01.920 I love asking people that.

00:31:03.920 Anything you're hyperfixing?

00:31:04.920 I just started The Sunray Turned Pretty.

00:31:05.920 You did?

00:31:06.920 I did start it.

00:31:07.920 Okay.

00:31:08.920 I have to say, it's really-

00:31:09.920 And here's my good luck to you.

00:31:10.920 Listen, I'm struggling through it, girl.

00:31:12.920 I'm trying my best, but it is hard.

00:31:14.920 It's a hard watch.

00:31:15.920 Yeah.

00:31:16.920 Yeah, it is.

00:31:17.920 It's so cringey and so corny.

00:31:19.920 It's so cringey.

00:31:20.920 And when I watch it, I'm like, love it.

00:31:22.920 But I'm like, how?

00:31:23.920 Yeah.

00:31:24.920 I don't understand how it's so-

00:31:25.920 You're grinning and you're like, oh, okay, perfect.

00:31:27.920 Next episode.

00:31:28.920 Yeah, exactly.

00:31:29.920 You know what?

00:31:30.920 It's just gonna happen.

00:31:31.920 Perfect.

00:31:32.920 Yeah.

00:31:33.920 But everyone seems to be talking about it, so I had to give it a try.

00:31:34.920 Yeah, you gotta jump on it.

00:31:35.920 Yeah.

00:31:36.920 I love Hunting Wives. 0.98

00:31:37.920 Hunting is so good.

00:31:39.920 Maylene Ackerman, Canadian, too.

00:31:41.920 Oh, yeah, that's right.

00:31:42.920 Andy.

00:31:43.920 I also-

00:31:44.920 She was also at the Elton John party.

00:31:45.920 Oh, was she?

00:31:46.920 Oh, she was.

00:31:47.920 And that's what we gotta talk about next.

00:31:48.920 Okay.

00:31:49.920 Hacks. 0.98

00:31:50.920 Me and Kylie always crush Hacks. 1.00

00:31:51.920 I love Hacks.

00:31:52.920 I'm behind it.

00:31:53.920 I haven't finished it yet.

00:31:54.920 Did you show Adults or Adults?

00:31:55.920 Yeah, Adults.

00:31:56.920 Oh, yeah.

00:31:57.920 I said it the Canadian way.

00:31:58.920 What's the American way? 0.96

00:31:59.920 Adults.

00:32:00.920 Adults?

00:32:01.920 Yeah.

00:32:02.920 Adults.

00:32:03.920 Adults.

00:32:04.920 You got it.

00:32:05.920 You got it.

00:32:06.920 You're asking each other.

00:32:07.920 Adults.

00:32:08.920 Asking another Canadian. 0.90

00:32:09.920 But I've been really liking that.

00:32:11.920 And I loved overcompensating.

00:32:12.920 T.

00:32:13.920 Yeah.

00:32:14.920 Love Benny.

00:32:15.920 Love Benny and Marybeth.

00:32:16.920 Huge fans of them.

00:32:17.920 Yeah.

00:32:18.920 And Owen Teal.

00:32:19.920 Love him too.

00:32:20.920 He's amazing.

00:32:21.920 And so funny. 0.98

00:32:22.920 And so fucking tall. 0.91

00:32:23.920 I don't know if you've ever met him. 0.99

00:32:24.920 He's like 6'3".

00:32:25.920 6'4".

00:32:26.920 I think I saw him at Coachella.

00:32:27.920 But I don't know.

00:32:28.920 Oh, yeah.

00:32:29.920 I did not say anything.

00:32:30.920 I was too shy.

00:32:31.920 Next time, if you're with me and we see him, I'll introduce you.

00:32:34.920 Thank you so much, girl.

00:32:35.920 I can't hear what celebrities are tall.

00:32:37.920 Because I feel like when we're not-

00:32:39.920 Let a girl know. 1.00

00:32:40.920 Because I always feel like I'm the giant in the room.

00:32:42.920 Oh, yeah.

00:32:43.920 Girl, you're telling me.

00:32:44.920 I know.

00:32:45.920 Every room I'm in, I feel like that scene in Alice in Wonderland, 1.00

00:32:47.920 when she drinks that shit and then she gets enormous. 1.00

00:32:49.920 Yeah. 1.00

00:32:50.920 And her arms pop out the house. 0.99

00:32:51.920 Like, that's me in every fucking room. 0.99

00:32:53.920 Yeah. 0.99

00:32:54.920 Well, musicians are, like, all really tiny.

00:32:55.920 Yeah, they are.

00:32:56.920 Because they're even actors, though, I think.

00:32:57.920 They are.

00:32:58.920 Yeah, actors are too.

00:32:59.920 They have big heads, though.

00:33:00.920 That's so short.

00:33:01.920 Yes.

00:33:02.920 Big heads, small audience.

00:33:03.920 And they're big on perspective, like, for actors.

00:33:05.920 Like, which is why I feel like I can smell height like a drug dog.

00:33:08.920 Especially on men.

00:33:09.920 No, I love that.

00:33:10.920 So, like, if I see a picture of a man, I can guess almost to the inch how tall he is.

00:33:13.920 Oh, absolutely.

00:33:14.920 Yeah, it's like a special skill of mine.

00:33:16.920 That's a special skill.

00:33:17.920 And that's your talent.

00:33:18.920 It's an important talent.

00:33:19.920 I love it.

00:33:20.920 I'm trying to think of, like, the rock is tall, obviously.

00:33:23.920 Yeah.

00:33:24.920 To me, like, standing next to him, he looks normal size when he's next to me.

00:33:27.920 Wow.

00:33:28.920 And it's because I think he's, like, 6'4", and I'm 6 feet.

00:33:31.920 True.

00:33:32.920 So, it's like, he's obviously significantly taller than me, but it's not as, like, crazy

00:33:35.920 as when he's standing next to, like, a Kevin Hart, like, who's this big.

00:33:38.920 Yeah.

00:33:39.920 Chris Evans was shockingly tall.

00:33:41.920 I thought he would be, like, maybe 6'2", 6'3".

00:33:44.920 Okay.

00:33:45.920 Shocked.

00:33:46.920 Wow.

00:33:47.920 I was shocked.

00:33:48.920 I'll admit, I love you, though, Chris.

00:33:49.920 I know you're a huge fan of the show.

00:33:51.920 Chris, if you're watching.

00:33:52.920 Yeah.

00:33:53.920 Chris, if you ever see this.

00:33:54.920 I would say most people are, like, itty-bitty-bitty. 1.00

00:33:57.920 It's been very rare that I meet someone, I'm like, damn, you're fucking tall. 0.99

00:34:00.920 Yeah. 0.99

00:34:01.920 Unless it's, of course, like, have you ever met Ilona Marr?

00:34:04.920 No.

00:34:05.920 No. 1.00

00:34:06.920 Her and her sisters, her sisters are tall as fuck. 1.00

00:34:08.920 They're both, they both have, like, two, three inches on me. 1.00

00:34:10.920 Oh, my God.

00:34:11.920 Really?

00:34:12.920 Yeah, all three, like, Ilona's the shortest. 0.99

00:34:13.920 I thought rugby players were, like, more compact.

00:34:16.920 Well, Ilona's actually the shortest. 1.00

00:34:17.920 Like, her other two sisters are way taller than her. 0.99

00:34:19.920 Oh, damn. 1.00

00:34:20.920 Which is crazy. 1.00

00:34:21.920 I'm a big fan of hers.

00:34:22.920 Oh, I know who you're talking about.

00:34:23.920 Love her.

00:34:24.920 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:34:25.920 That's amazing.

00:34:26.920 I'm like, the list of tall people in general I've met in this industry is a lot shorter

00:34:29.920 than the short people.

00:34:30.920 Yeah.

00:34:31.920 Like, the smallest person I've met in this industry was Maren Morris, I think. 0.99

00:34:35.920 Yeah.

00:34:36.920 Like, she sat in this chair, and I say, like, her feet were straight like this.

00:34:40.920 Like, in an American Girl doll.

00:34:42.920 No way!

00:34:43.920 I was like, girl, you gotta scoot forward.

00:34:46.920 You're making me look enormous.

00:34:47.920 Don't get those feet down.

00:34:49.920 Looks like I'm talking to Annabelle.

00:34:51.920 Sit forward, girl.

00:34:52.920 Oh, my God.

00:34:54.920 I love Annabelle.

00:34:55.920 I love Annabelle.

00:34:56.920 I love her.

00:34:57.920 She said she would sing at my wedding, and I'm holding her to that.

00:34:58.920 Yes.

00:34:59.920 Absolutely.

00:35:00.920 Not Annabelle.

00:35:01.920 But the Elton John party, let's talk about it.

00:35:03.920 Yes.

00:35:04.920 We both, all of us, all five of us went to the-

00:35:06.920 Oh, no.

00:35:07.920 Me and Liza were there.

00:35:08.920 Yeah.

00:35:09.920 Well, I got the invite.

00:35:10.920 She got the invite.

00:35:11.920 She got the plus one.

00:35:12.920 They wanted cool, queer people.

00:35:13.920 I said, let me bring my straight best friend.

00:35:15.920 Me and Jordan were like, all right, see ya.

00:35:16.920 Have fun.

00:35:17.920 Okay, fine.

00:35:18.920 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:35:19.920 Okay, we went to the Elton John party after the Oscars.

00:35:21.920 That was y'all's experience.

00:35:22.920 Yeah.

00:35:23.920 Okay.

00:35:24.920 Did you see me and Chrishell dancing on the table?

00:35:26.920 No.

00:35:27.920 The people were not upset.

00:35:28.920 Chrishell from Selling Sunset?

00:35:29.920 Yeah.

00:35:30.920 Okay, yeah.

00:35:31.920 Yeah.

00:35:32.920 I don't know who, like, owned those tables.

00:35:33.920 I feel like you had to pay extra to get a table.

00:35:34.920 Yeah.

00:35:35.920 We were not stoked that we just climbed up.

00:35:36.920 No, so they got up on the table and started dancing to Pink Pony Club.

00:35:40.920 Tea.

00:35:41.920 Sorry.

00:35:42.920 Me and Chris Appleton had to get them down off the table.

00:35:45.920 Chris Appleton.

00:35:46.920 And I was like, what is happening right now?

00:35:48.920 This is not our lives.

00:35:49.920 Yeah.

00:35:50.920 It is not.

00:35:51.920 I just, I can't understand it.

00:35:52.920 But we just, like, we got super drunk, obviously.

00:35:55.920 Yeah, obviously.

00:35:56.920 So did we.

00:35:57.920 The shots were just, like, flowing.

00:35:58.920 Yeah.

00:35:59.920 And, like, they had, like, people, like, bringing around, like, little things of, like, wine and

00:36:03.920 stuff.

00:36:04.920 And we didn't really know anybody there.

00:36:05.920 Yeah.

00:36:06.920 So we just decided to, like, basically drink.

00:36:08.920 What's crazy is they separated all the gays.

00:36:10.920 Like, they sat them at all different tables.

00:36:12.920 Luna, they told me they were sitting next to MGK.

00:36:15.920 Oh.

00:36:16.920 And Lucy Dacus.

00:36:17.920 So I was like, hey, why?

00:36:18.920 Like, next to Lucy makes sense.

00:36:20.920 Next to MGK?

00:36:21.920 Why is that?

00:36:22.920 I did see MGK there and I was like, this is really interesting.

00:36:25.920 Yeah, walking around with cord headphones in.

00:36:26.920 Yeah, I did.

00:36:27.920 I was like, I was kind of obsessed.

00:36:29.920 What?

00:36:30.920 So I was like, this is the craziest thing that has happened.

00:36:32.920 And there was also, like, that outdoor area.

00:36:34.920 Yes.

00:36:35.920 Yeah, with the tent and everything.

00:36:36.920 With the tent.

00:36:37.920 A couple of times, like, just couldn't, like, figure out where to go.

00:36:40.920 Well, yeah.

00:36:41.920 And like I was saying, people thought I worked there.

00:36:44.920 Sorry.

00:36:45.920 They thought I installed the mirror in the bathroom, which is crazy.

00:36:48.920 They thought I was clocked in.

00:36:49.920 Is that your work? 0.86

00:36:50.920 I've never seen a lesbian in a suit. 1.00

00:36:52.920 Well, clearly you have to work here. 0.80

00:36:54.920 Did you drill this in?

00:36:55.920 Good work.

00:36:56.920 Is this your doing?

00:36:58.920 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:37:00.920 But we did have a really fun time.

00:37:02.920 Yeah.

00:37:03.920 Yeah.

00:37:04.920 We had a blast, too.

00:37:05.920 I felt like the crowd was a little, like, they were not hype enough for me during chapel.

00:37:09.920 No, no.

00:37:10.920 See what happens when you put too many straight people in there? 0.65

00:37:12.920 I know.

00:37:13.920 Absolutely.

00:37:14.920 It's never good.

00:37:15.920 It's never good.

00:37:16.920 No, no.

00:37:17.920 That's why you had to get on the table.

00:37:18.920 We're like, was everybody really drunk or were most people, like, kind of keeping it chill?

00:37:23.920 I don't know.

00:37:24.920 Most of the people I saw were pretty drunk.

00:37:26.920 Yeah.

00:37:27.920 To be honest, like, yeah, like, most of the people I saw were pretty drunk. 0.97

00:37:29.920 And there were some really fucking famous people at that party. 0.97

00:37:32.920 Yeah. 0.98

00:37:33.920 And I was, and watching them move in the wild is so shocking to me.

00:37:35.920 Do they, like, hover?

00:37:36.920 Like, float?

00:37:37.920 Yeah.

00:37:38.920 They just, like, they're, it's just them, like, kind of key-king.

00:37:40.920 And it's one of those parties where, like, because most of the other parties I've been

00:37:43.920 to for work stuff, if I see super, super famous people like that, they're real, like,

00:37:47.920 buttoned up.

00:37:48.920 You know what I mean?

00:37:49.920 Like, they're, like...

00:37:50.920 People are watching them and photographing them and videoing them.

00:37:53.920 Yeah.

00:37:54.920 That party, it's, like, hairs down.

00:37:55.920 Wow.

00:37:56.920 Everybody's out there, like...

00:37:57.920 Having fun. 0.99

00:37:58.920 Yeah, I was like, I got fucked up at that party. 0.98

00:37:59.920 Yeah. 0.97

00:38:00.920 When I was passing my weed pen around, like, free candy, I said, I'll wake up with Herbie's

00:38:03.920 smile.

00:38:04.920 Sure.

00:38:05.920 You guys want some?

00:38:06.920 Sure.

00:38:07.920 Let's do it.

00:38:08.920 Let's do it.

00:38:09.920 I was, like, I was laughing so hard, too, because when I, I ran into Dylan Mulvaney there.

00:38:11.920 Oh.

00:38:12.920 Who I love.

00:38:13.920 I took a photo for her.

00:38:14.920 I love, my sister.

00:38:15.920 Love her.

00:38:16.920 But I was like, we were hanging out with her, and then she was like, I wish I had weed.

00:38:20.920 I said, I got weed if you want some.

00:38:21.920 Girl, I got you.

00:38:22.920 Yeah.

00:38:23.920 And she shared mine, and then the girl she had introduced me to, she was like, oh, I'll,

00:38:27.920 like, I was like, do you want some, too?

00:38:28.920 She's like, yeah, I have one, too.

00:38:29.920 And we were laughing.

00:38:30.920 And then I found out that's Reese Witherspoon's daughter.

00:38:32.920 Ava.

00:38:33.920 No.

00:38:34.920 Philippe.

00:38:35.920 I said, why am I smoking weed with you?

00:38:37.920 Don't tell your mom.

00:38:38.920 I was like, don't tell your mom that I gave that to you.

00:38:40.920 I didn't know.

00:38:41.920 Wow.

00:38:42.920 She's of age.

00:38:43.920 She's older.

00:38:44.920 You just don't want Reese to know.

00:38:45.920 Yes.

00:38:46.920 I want her to like me.

00:38:47.920 Yeah. 0.99

00:38:48.920 That party was so kooky that when I got back to my hotel, I was, like, fucked up. 0.99

00:38:52.920 Fell asleep. 0.85

00:38:53.920 I don't drink like that anymore, because I'm old.

00:38:55.920 And so, when I woke up the next morning, I was like, water.

00:38:58.920 Right.

00:38:59.920 I was like, I need water so bad.

00:39:00.920 Ran to the fridge.

00:39:01.920 Chugged water.

00:39:02.920 I was, like, chugging it down. 0.98

00:39:05.920 As soon as I pulled it away from my lips, almost shit my pants. 0.94

00:39:08.920 If you can believe it. 0.99

00:39:09.920 I was like, I literally, I had to run, like, cupping my butt like a little kid. 0.96

00:39:13.920 I literally, I went, I was on that toilet. 0.99

00:39:16.920 I said, what the fuck while I was sitting there? 0.98

00:39:19.920 And then I, it's so bad I had to shower after. 1.00

00:39:21.920 Oh no!

00:39:22.920 I literally showered.

00:39:23.920 Then I go put on the hotel robe.

00:39:24.920 I go to my sister's room, because she had a room inside our room.

00:39:27.920 And I was, like, knocking on the door. 0.99

00:39:28.920 I was like, dude, are you fucking hungover? 0.99

00:39:30.920 And she was like, yeah. 1.00

00:39:31.920 And I go, I almost shit myself. 0.93

00:39:32.920 And I'm, like, standing over her bed. 0.91

00:39:34.920 I was like, can you believe? 1.00

00:39:35.920 I almost pooped my fucking pants. 1.00

00:39:37.920 I'm, like, literally talking to her, and she goes, get out. 1.00

00:39:39.920 Like, I was like, it's dark in here.

00:39:42.920 I'm like, can you believe I almost pooped my pants just now?

00:39:45.920 That's crazy.

00:39:46.920 I'm like, to her, she's like, get out.

00:39:48.920 And I was like, get out. 0.99

00:39:49.920 And I was like, all right, my fucking bad. 0.98

00:39:51.920 That was kind of the bad. 0.99

00:39:53.920 Well, because we got back, and you took your shoes off.

00:39:55.920 We ordered, like, $150 worth of Taco Bell.

00:39:57.920 Love.

00:39:58.920 Like.

00:39:59.920 Yeah.

00:40:00.920 Yeah, we were on one.

00:40:01.920 Yeah.

00:40:02.920 I had cold lobster pizza when I got back.

00:40:04.920 That's a choice.

00:40:05.920 Cold lobster pizza. 0.99

00:40:06.920 And now I'm like, why did I almost shit myself? 0.95

00:40:08.920 That's probably why. 0.96

00:40:09.920 Yeah, that's why.

00:40:10.920 Makes sense.

00:40:11.920 What is lobster pizza?

00:40:12.920 What is that?

00:40:13.920 It's like a, it's, I don't, it's from somewhere here famous.

00:40:16.920 It's like a famous pizza.

00:40:17.920 Isn't it like the Wolfgang Puck pizza?

00:40:20.920 I actually don't know.

00:40:21.920 Okay.

00:40:22.920 It might, it might, cause my cousin and my man were staying in the room too.

00:40:25.920 And they, they ordered it.

00:40:26.920 Like they were having like girls night in.

00:40:28.920 Yeah.

00:40:29.920 And they ordered that pizza cause they really wanted to try it. 0.95

00:40:31.920 And I was like, by the time we got back, it was fucking ice cold. 0.97

00:40:34.920 Yeah. 0.97

00:40:35.920 And they didn't have a microwave. 1.00

00:40:36.920 So I was like, fuck it. 1.00

00:40:37.920 I'm just going to eat it. 1.00

00:40:38.920 Oh.

00:40:39.920 And I was housed like three huge slices.

00:40:40.920 And then I wondered why I almost put my pants in.

00:40:42.920 Right.

00:40:43.920 Right.

00:40:44.920 Right.

00:40:45.920 Right.

00:40:46.920 We've all been there.

00:40:47.920 We've all been there.

00:40:48.920 Honestly, like my worst, another fear of mine to jump back is like, what happens if you

00:40:52.920 get food poisoning while you're performing?

00:40:54.920 Like, yeah.

00:40:55.920 You just puke in the bucket.

00:40:56.920 Yeah.

00:40:57.920 Right.

00:40:58.920 But I'm talking more about pooping when it comes out the other end.

00:41:01.920 Yeah. 1.00

00:41:02.920 You just shit yourself. 1.00

00:41:03.920 Yeah. 1.00

00:41:04.920 But I think that's my biggest fear.

00:41:05.920 Truly.

00:41:06.920 You've had food poisoning on stage before.

00:41:09.920 Yeah, pooping on stage.

00:41:10.920 I didn't shit myself on stage though. 0.99

00:41:11.920 You almost did. 0.97

00:41:12.920 Before I went on stage.

00:41:13.920 Yeah.

00:41:14.920 And it's like, we hadn't met the band we were opening for yet.

00:41:16.920 Like we weren't close with them.

00:41:17.920 And it was one communal bathroom.

00:41:18.920 Yeah.

00:41:19.920 With the men stall by stall.

00:41:20.920 He was taking a shower.

00:41:22.920 He later told my parents at dinner.

00:41:24.920 He was like, I was taking a shower and your daughter had food poisoning in the stall.

00:41:28.920 Okay.

00:41:29.920 Yeah.

00:41:30.920 HIPAA.

00:41:31.920 Okay.

00:41:32.920 Violate my HIPAA rights.

00:41:34.920 That's one communal bathroom. 0.98

00:41:36.920 That sucks. 0.99

00:41:37.920 You're like, yeah. 0.99

00:41:38.920 Yeah.

00:41:39.920 And then when you come out, you're like, whoever was just in there did something crazy.

00:41:41.920 I don't know why.

00:41:42.920 You become very close very fast.

00:41:44.920 Yeah.

00:41:45.920 One time I hosted this thing for one or two, which I loved.

00:41:50.920 It was very fun.

00:41:51.920 But when I was hosting it, like the day I hosted it was at nighttime and I was like exhausted

00:41:56.920 by the time because I worked all day.

00:41:57.920 And then I had to like get on stage and be funny.

00:42:00.920 So obviously I bring my weed pen with me everywhere.

00:42:02.920 So I was like, I'm going to hit this blinker till my eyes cross. 1.00

00:42:05.920 Like, fuck it. 1.00

00:42:06.920 So I was smoke. 1.00

00:42:07.920 I was cheaping on that hoe in the, in the fucking dressing room. 1.00

00:42:10.920 I'm like, and then I had to go to the restroom, but there was like a Polynesian dancers. 0.98

00:42:14.920 So they were sharing a room right next to us.

00:42:15.920 So obviously I'm only smoking in my own room.

00:42:17.920 And then my mom was like, Oh, let's go to the bathroom and then go upstairs. 1.00

00:42:20.920 I'm like, okay.

00:42:21.920 But it's like two singular stalls and they're like, everyone's sharing them.

00:42:24.920 So we go in there, I'm hitting my pen.

00:42:26.920 But when I hit it before I went in there, I walked past him.

00:42:28.920 I didn't want to blow it in anyone's face.

00:42:30.920 So then I swallowed it.

00:42:32.920 And then I go in the bath.

00:42:33.920 I'm like, yeah, no, I'm going to go in this one.

00:42:35.920 I go in the bathroom and I'm like, lighten it up there.

00:42:38.920 I'm coughing.

00:42:39.920 Like my lungs depend on it.

00:42:41.920 I was literally like, like, and then I come out my eyes, bloodshot red.

00:42:45.920 And I'm like, I walk outside and my mom goes, are you okay?

00:42:49.920 And then I go, what do you mean?

00:42:52.920 And she goes, you were coughing so loud.

00:42:54.920 I go, you can hear me.

00:42:56.920 What was like, it's not soundproof.

00:42:59.920 No.

00:43:00.920 Because the wall looked like that wall.

00:43:01.920 It was like wooden.

00:43:02.920 Yeah.

00:43:03.920 My gosh.

00:43:04.920 That's why, that's why I'm on tour, especially if there's like only two bathrooms.

00:43:08.920 I'll go, I'll opt for the port-a-potty.

00:43:10.920 Yeah.

00:43:11.920 But I'll tell this for you.

00:43:12.920 I'll tell this for you.

00:43:13.920 You got to light it up.

00:43:14.920 I, what time?

00:43:15.920 One time.

00:43:16.920 So we were, I think it was last year.

00:43:17.920 Yes.

00:43:18.920 It was last year we were on tour with Girl in Red.

00:43:20.920 Amazing.

00:43:21.920 Love.

00:43:22.920 And there's like so many people on her crew and we had like two shared bathrooms and

00:43:27.920 I really had to go.

00:43:28.920 Yeah.

00:43:29.920 You know?

00:43:30.920 So I was like, I walked a little bit outside of the venue and found like a random port-a-potty.

00:43:35.920 And so.

00:43:36.920 You're smart.

00:43:37.920 I would do the same thing.

00:43:38.920 She didn't ask.

00:43:39.920 We had our own bathroom.

00:43:40.920 She just assumed.

00:43:41.920 I just assumed.

00:43:42.920 I was like, I kind of got to go and I don't want it to be known that like.

00:43:45.920 I got to go.

00:43:46.920 That I got to go.

00:43:47.920 So I just like, do, do, do, do, do, go out there into like the wilderness and find this

00:43:51.920 port-a-potty.

00:43:52.920 And whatever, I'm doing my business on my phone as you are, you know, flipping through

00:43:57.920 the reels.

00:43:58.920 And I kind of hear like a, a weird like.

00:44:01.920 A click.

00:44:02.920 A click.

00:44:03.920 And I'm like, oh, someone's in here.

00:44:06.920 Just like, someone's here.

00:44:08.920 And then nobody says anything.

00:44:10.920 So whatever.

00:44:11.920 I finished my business and I stand up and I have been locked inside the port-a-potty.

00:44:15.920 It was a padlock.

00:44:16.920 Someone closed a padlock. 0.99

00:44:17.920 She was like your own stink. 0.99

00:44:18.920 You're like. 0.98

00:44:19.920 Somebody.

00:44:20.920 You're in like a construction zone.

00:44:21.920 Yeah.

00:44:22.920 She's stuck in this port-a-potty. 1.00

00:44:24.920 Somebody padlocked me in.

00:44:27.920 You said, you're the person who's been pooping in here, aren't you? 0.99

00:44:30.920 Nobody's answering their phone.

00:44:31.920 Nobody's answering my phone. 0.99

00:44:32.920 I'm like, fuck, what happens if somebody loads this port-a-potty under the back of a 0.99

00:44:37.920 truck and I was like. 1.00

00:44:38.920 A black ass style. 1.00

00:44:39.920 You see. 1.00

00:44:40.920 You'll suffocate under your own shit. 1.00

00:44:42.920 Girl. 1.00

00:44:43.920 Just like, somehow in the middle, like in the middle, they find me like.

00:44:47.920 Dead.

00:44:48.920 Days later in another state.

00:44:49.920 She called Meg, our photographer. 0.98

00:44:51.920 They called Meg. 0.97

00:44:52.920 But first Meg took a photo of her through the crack, through the padlock, sent it to 0.82

00:44:56.920 all of us.

00:44:57.920 Before letting her out.

00:44:58.920 With her little eyes.

00:44:59.920 She's like crying, kind of like a little eye flipping through.

00:45:02.920 With her little eye in the slip.

00:45:04.920 Just like starting to get claustrophobic.

00:45:06.920 It's all fun and games until I'm actually locked in there.

00:45:10.920 Yeah.

00:45:11.920 So.

00:45:12.920 She had to go get the man with the key.

00:45:14.920 Yeah.

00:45:15.920 So somebody, somebody had to come.

00:45:16.920 I'm like, sorry, I was trying to be discreet.

00:45:18.920 Like, sorry.

00:45:19.920 You actually became.

00:45:20.920 I literally just peed in there.

00:45:21.920 I don't know what happened.

00:45:22.920 I literally just peed in there.

00:45:23.920 You actually just caused such a scene.

00:45:25.920 Just trying to not cause a scene.

00:45:26.920 I know.

00:45:27.920 It would have been less dramatic to just poop in the communal bathroom. 0.90

00:45:29.920 I know.

00:45:30.920 Yeah.

00:45:31.920 Someone write us to go on cinch and be like, the beaches can't perform because 0.99

00:45:33.920 the lead singer actually died to give a shit for the party today. 1.00

00:45:35.920 She actually got locked in a portafone and drowned in her own shit. 1.00

00:45:37.920 Can you believe it? 1.00

00:45:38.920 That's fucking crazy. 1.00

00:45:41.920 Truly. 0.99

00:45:42.920 Well, these are all really fun facts, but I do have some fun facts.

00:45:44.920 Okay.

00:45:45.920 Cool.

00:45:46.920 Okay.

00:45:47.920 I have a beat.

00:45:48.920 First of all, a beaches fun fact.

00:45:49.920 It says the beaches man covered the song ultimate on the freakier Friday movie soundtrack.

00:45:53.920 We did.

00:45:54.920 Yeah.

00:45:55.920 So tell me about freakier Friday.

00:45:56.920 How was that?

00:45:57.920 Obviously you guys said a dream come true.

00:45:58.920 Very.

00:45:59.920 It was really sick. 0.99

00:46:00.920 I mean, we were, we were little when the first movie came out and we played the shit out 0.99

00:46:04.920 of it. 0.96

00:46:05.920 And ultimate was like one of me and my sister's favorite songs growing up.

00:46:08.920 We used to sing it with our Barbies.

00:46:09.920 That's so cute.

00:46:10.920 One of the songs he learned to harmonize with.

00:46:12.920 And we were in a Disney band.

00:46:15.920 Like our first project was a kind of Canadian Disney project.

00:46:18.920 So it kind of felt, well, sorry, I have a lot of spit in my mother. 1.00

00:46:21.920 Okay.

00:46:22.920 You're fine.

00:46:23.920 Empty now girl.

00:46:24.920 Yeah.

00:46:25.920 Um, so it was, Oh, I spilt.

00:46:26.920 It's okay.

00:46:27.920 It's okay.

00:46:28.920 Stop.

00:46:29.920 You're fine.

00:46:30.920 Take it again.

00:46:31.920 Take it again.

00:46:32.920 Just calling that port-a-potty story really.

00:46:33.920 Really got me shook up.

00:46:35.920 Um, no, it was a really cool full circle moment and it's an awesome franchise about female

00:46:42.920 relationships.

00:46:43.920 Pink slip rocks.

00:46:44.920 Pink slip rocks.

00:46:45.920 Hell yeah.

00:46:46.920 So it was really sick.

00:46:47.920 Yeah. 0.99

00:46:48.920 That's so fucking cool. 0.97

00:46:49.920 And Jamie, Jamie Lee has been like posting about the song, which was so sick. 0.98

00:46:51.920 Yep.

00:46:52.920 Yeah.

00:46:53.920 I love it.

00:46:54.920 How fun.

00:46:55.920 Is it cool seeing your song in a movie?

00:46:56.920 They haven't seen it yet.

00:46:57.920 Only me.

00:46:58.920 Only me.

00:46:59.920 Only me.

00:47:00.920 I know.

00:47:01.920 No, it's awesome.

00:47:02.920 I haven't watched it yet.

00:47:03.920 We've been, we were, we were in, we were in Europe doing tours and I, I was going to

00:47:05.920 maybe go in Naples, but then I couldn't find an English version.

00:47:08.920 Right.

00:47:09.920 And you said, well, obviously I gotta watch my version.

00:47:11.920 Yeah.

00:47:12.920 I got off the flight, went to the movie with my family, fell asleep.

00:47:15.920 Promptly fell asleep.

00:47:16.920 And my sister just like punched me at the end to show me the song. 1.00

00:47:18.920 So you haven't seen it either.

00:47:19.920 You said perfect.

00:47:20.920 I saw most of it.

00:47:21.920 All I needed to see was your song.

00:47:23.920 Yeah.

00:47:24.920 That's all you needed.

00:47:25.920 There you go.

00:47:26.920 Okay.

00:47:27.920 So Jordan, this is a fun fact about you.

00:47:28.920 Oh no.

00:47:29.920 It says, you used to go LARPing in the park in her hometown when she was growing up.

00:47:34.920 How did you find this?

00:47:36.920 Where are you getting this?

00:47:38.920 Oh no.

00:47:39.920 My sources.

00:47:40.920 I'm impressed.

00:47:41.920 Yeah.

00:47:42.920 Yeah.

00:47:43.920 Yeah.

00:47:44.920 Yeah.

00:47:45.920 Yeah.

00:47:46.920 Well, I need to say that.

00:47:47.920 Makes a lot of sense. 0.92

00:47:48.920 Those are my hidden Mickeys when I say my lesbian crew. 1.00

00:47:50.920 Nice.

00:47:51.920 I love D&D and I love LARPing.

00:47:53.920 I haven't done it in a long time.

00:47:55.920 But yeah, I used to like have a full like bow and arrow set.

00:47:59.920 I was a mage.

00:48:00.920 Like.

00:48:01.920 Okay.

00:48:02.920 Yeah.

00:48:03.920 It's really sick.

00:48:04.920 Nerd alert.

00:48:05.920 Just kidding.

00:48:06.920 I mean.

00:48:07.920 It's pretty.

00:48:08.920 Yeah.

00:48:09.920 You know what?

00:48:10.920 I credit a lot of my songwriting abilities to being like able to be so creative as a

00:48:15.920 kid.

00:48:16.920 You know?

00:48:17.920 It was super fun.

00:48:18.920 I definitely would love to do it again if anybody needs an extra large for their campaign.

00:48:24.920 Is that what's called a mage?

00:48:25.920 A mage is like a. 0.97

00:48:26.920 I'm learning something.

00:48:27.920 A mage is like a, like a wizardy half elf. 0.88

00:48:30.920 Okay.

00:48:31.920 Creature.

00:48:32.920 Okay.

00:48:33.920 Sure.

00:48:34.920 Do you like a lot of fantasy stuff?

00:48:36.920 I did.

00:48:37.920 I liked Lord of the Rings too.

00:48:38.920 Growing up.

00:48:39.920 I see.

00:48:40.920 I really liked Petra Collins' photography exhibition that she did where she had like

00:48:48.920 strippers dressed as elves.

00:48:49.920 That was really sick. 0.88

00:48:50.920 Sure.

00:48:51.920 I learned a lot about you.

00:48:52.920 You really are.

00:48:53.920 I know.

00:48:54.920 Scratched a lot of itches for me.

00:48:55.920 Yeah.

00:48:56.920 You being an Aries is making more. 1.00

00:48:57.920 Is it?

00:48:58.920 Yeah.

00:48:59.920 That's right.

00:49:00.920 That's crazy.

00:49:01.920 Yeah.

00:49:02.920 LARPing is great.

00:49:03.920 That's another level of commitment.

00:49:04.920 LARPing.

00:49:05.920 It's a lightning bolt video.

00:49:06.920 It's just a bunch of.

00:49:07.920 What are you talking about?

00:49:08.920 What are you talking about?

00:49:09.920 And what are you talking about?

00:49:10.920 Okay.

00:49:11.920 Um.

00:49:12.920 I know bolts.

00:49:13.920 No.

00:49:14.920 It's a.

00:49:15.920 I also know bolts.

00:49:16.920 It's a really.

00:49:17.920 It's a really.

00:49:18.920 Check it out after we finish this.

00:49:20.920 He's LARPing.

00:49:21.920 And he's throwing lightning bolts.

00:49:22.920 He's throwing lightning bolts.

00:49:23.920 But it's.

00:49:24.920 It's just these random dudes in the forest.

00:49:27.920 And this one guy's like.

00:49:28.920 Lightning bolt.

00:49:29.920 Lightning bolt.

00:49:30.920 Lightning bolt.

00:49:31.920 It is.

00:49:32.920 And you said.

00:49:33.920 I need to get there.

00:49:34.920 Wherever they're at.

00:49:35.920 I need to go.

00:49:36.920 Yeah.

00:49:37.920 Can I play with you?

00:49:39.920 May I join?

00:49:40.920 May I join in? 0.85

00:49:42.920 Crazy. 0.71

00:49:43.920 You love that.

00:49:44.920 I love that about you.

00:49:45.920 Yeah.

00:49:46.920 Eliza.

00:49:47.920 Oh goodness.

00:49:48.920 It says you used to be a big.

00:49:49.920 Pokemon card collector.

00:49:50.920 Oh my god.

00:49:51.920 You're.

00:49:52.920 You've done your work.

00:49:53.920 Right.

00:49:54.920 I didn't know that.

00:49:55.920 Oh my god.

00:49:56.920 This is like deep lore.

00:49:57.920 Um.

00:49:58.920 No I like.

00:49:59.920 Basically like.

00:50:00.920 Halfway from the walk from home to school.

00:50:01.920 There was this little like.

00:50:02.920 Shop where I used to go.

00:50:03.920 Spend my allowance money on Pokemon cards.

00:50:05.920 Wow.

00:50:06.920 I didn't know that.

00:50:07.920 You didn't know that about me?

00:50:08.920 No.

00:50:09.920 Do you still have them?

00:50:10.920 I don't know.

00:50:11.920 That's an artifact.

00:50:12.920 I don't know if I still have them. 0.91

00:50:13.920 So two dorks confirmed. 0.99

00:50:14.920 Couple dorks. 0.99

00:50:15.920 I think. 0.77

00:50:16.920 I think three out of four of us.

00:50:17.920 I think Kylie's safe.

00:50:18.920 Kylie's safe.

00:50:19.920 Yeah.

00:50:20.920 Yeah.

00:50:21.920 I don't know.

00:50:22.920 Kylie's the furthest thing from a nerd actually.

00:50:24.920 Kylie's not nerdy.

00:50:25.920 No.

00:50:26.920 Kylie doesn't like.

00:50:27.920 Kylie doesn't really like games. 0.97

00:50:28.920 No.

00:50:29.920 Kylie hates games.

00:50:30.920 She hates like a board game. 1.00

00:50:31.920 I hate games.

00:50:32.920 She hates video games.

00:50:33.920 Really?

00:50:34.920 Yeah.

00:50:35.920 She's like that's kid stuff.

00:50:36.920 The things Kylie loves.

00:50:37.920 Her vape.

00:50:38.920 Yeah.

00:50:39.920 Love.

00:50:40.920 Right.

00:50:41.920 And that's about it.

00:50:42.920 It ends there.

00:50:43.920 It ends there.

00:50:44.920 And yeah.

00:50:45.920 That's pretty much it.

00:50:46.920 And that's her.

00:50:47.920 Love you.

00:50:48.920 My passion is vape.

00:50:49.920 Vape? 0.98

00:50:50.920 Charlie XCX.

00:50:51.920 Yeah.

00:50:53.920 Who's your favorite Pokemon?

00:50:54.920 Oh my god.

00:50:55.920 Oh my god.

00:50:56.920 Um.

00:50:57.920 Back in the day it was probably Charizard.

00:50:59.920 Okay T.

00:51:00.920 You know he's a king.

00:51:01.920 Yeah.

00:51:02.920 Love that.

00:51:03.920 Um.

00:51:04.920 But no.

00:51:05.920 I probably have those still like buried away somewhere.

00:51:06.920 Yeah.

00:51:07.920 Like some like attic of like my old house or something.

00:51:08.920 Love that.

00:51:09.920 You guys didn't know about me?

00:51:10.920 No I didn't.

00:51:11.920 I know.

00:51:12.920 I collected the cards and I like wanted like you know the like most rarest one or whatever

00:51:16.920 and probably still have them.

00:51:17.920 Spent like all my allowance on that.

00:51:19.920 Growing up you know.

00:51:20.920 Love that.

00:51:21.920 One of my first.

00:51:22.920 I was really committed.

00:51:23.920 Nostalgic toys are like a nice purchase.

00:51:24.920 Like my one of my most expensive purchases.

00:51:25.920 Actually you bought this for me.

00:51:27.920 You bought me a Furby for my birthday one year.

00:51:29.920 Yeah.

00:51:30.920 I stopped to do that.

00:51:31.920 Yeah.

00:51:32.920 Yeah.

00:51:33.920 Those things freak me out.

00:51:34.920 No I wanted one.

00:51:35.920 She had one when we were kids and we shared a room and it would go off in the middle of

00:51:38.920 the night.

00:51:39.920 It goes off.

00:51:40.920 And I like I hated that thing.

00:51:41.920 It's possessed.

00:51:42.920 And it speaks Dutch not English.

00:51:43.920 Yeah.

00:51:44.920 And why is that?

00:51:45.920 I know.

00:51:46.920 Because I couldn't find one that was English.

00:51:48.920 So sorry you're gonna have to learn Dutch.

00:51:51.920 Only Swedish Furbies available to y'all.

00:51:55.920 Okay this one's for Kylie and Jordan.

00:51:58.920 It says Kylie and Jordan once had to buy a ghost a drink at a bar called Captain Jack

00:52:02.920 in their hometown.

00:52:03.920 Oh my god.

00:52:04.920 This is so true.

00:52:05.920 Oh my god.

00:52:06.920 Oh my god.

00:52:07.920 Are you gonna tell this one?

00:52:08.920 And why is that?

00:52:09.920 We just went there for your birthday again.

00:52:11.920 I know.

00:52:12.920 We did go there for my birthday.

00:52:13.920 It's like one of the scariest bars that you'll ever go to in your life.

00:52:16.920 And the beaches.

00:52:17.920 It's like there's like patrons with zero teeth.

00:52:20.920 Like that vibe.

00:52:21.920 It's like pirate alcoholic.

00:52:23.920 Like just like really some crazy stuff happens there.

00:52:26.920 But beers are $3.

00:52:27.920 Yeah.

00:52:28.920 Right.

00:52:29.920 And.

00:52:30.920 Canadian.

00:52:31.920 So like 50 cents.

00:52:32.920 Yeah.

00:52:33.920 It's pretty fun.

00:52:34.920 Yeah.

00:52:35.920 But it was like rammed.

00:52:36.920 It was during some like special thing that was going on.

00:52:37.920 No it was Canada Day.

00:52:38.920 Canada Day.

00:52:39.920 So we were just, we were watching fireworks at the beach.

00:52:41.920 And we decided to go for a beer.

00:52:43.920 Yeah.

00:52:44.920 But all the tables were taken.

00:52:45.920 And so there was one table that was open.

00:52:47.920 But the person behind the bar, the pirate said, if you want to have this drink, like you have anyone to sit there, you have to buy this guy who just passed away.

00:52:56.920 This is his table.

00:52:57.920 You need to buy him a shot. 0.99

00:52:58.920 A shot. 0.99

00:52:59.920 Right.

00:53:00.920 And I think he had.

00:53:01.920 I got the vibe that he had died from liver failure.

00:53:03.920 Right.

00:53:04.920 Yeah.

00:53:05.920 It was kind of giving that.

00:53:06.920 They had like a photo of him, a candle on the table.

00:53:08.920 It was his table.

00:53:09.920 Aw.

00:53:10.920 Did buy a shot.

00:53:11.920 Yeah.

00:53:12.920 I don't think he had recently passed away too.

00:53:13.920 I think like this establishment, like this had been a year ago.

00:53:15.920 Has been saying that for a while.

00:53:16.920 Yeah.

00:53:17.920 Maybe he didn't even exist and they're just trying to make more money.

00:53:19.920 Yeah.

00:53:20.920 And then they're like, let me go get him.

00:53:21.920 Yeah.

00:53:22.920 He goes and puts glasses on.

00:53:23.920 Thank you.

00:53:24.920 Yeah.

00:53:25.920 No, we did.

00:53:26.920 We took the shot before we left.

00:53:27.920 Yeah.

00:53:28.920 We kind of like, we stole the ghost shot.

00:53:31.920 They're like, he's not going to drink it.

00:53:32.920 Yeah.

00:53:33.920 It was in the spirit of buying it.

00:53:35.920 A waste of alcohol.

00:53:36.920 Never.

00:53:37.920 Not us.

00:53:38.920 Okay.

00:53:39.920 Kylie.

00:53:40.920 Kylie was once catfished on a dating app. 0.98

00:53:42.920 And while you were on the date, your phone glitched and it said you were in the middle

00:53:46.920 of the ocean.

00:53:47.920 So Leandra thought you were lost at sea.

00:53:49.920 That's a very long specific one.

00:53:52.920 Where did you find that?

00:53:53.920 I thought we only posted that on our Finsta.

00:53:55.920 I went on an absolutely horrifying hinge date.

00:54:02.920 Yeah.

00:54:03.920 He ended up not looking anything like his photo.

00:54:04.920 Also, if he's watching this, I'm really sorry for exposing you in this way.

00:54:07.920 He should be sorry for being a catfish.

00:54:09.920 For being a catfish.

00:54:10.920 That is the price you pay to be a catfish.

00:54:12.920 It was very strange, like really uncomfortable.

00:54:14.920 But he wanted to go on like a walk in like our neighborhood, which is not technically an

00:54:19.920 ocean.

00:54:20.920 It's a lake.

00:54:21.920 We had each other's location.

00:54:22.920 Well, you said, I'm not sure about this.

00:54:24.920 Can you just like check my location?

00:54:25.920 And I said, sure.

00:54:26.920 And then when I checked, your dot was so far in the middle of the lake.

00:54:30.920 You were like, oh my God.

00:54:31.920 I was like texting Jordan.

00:54:32.920 I was freaking out.

00:54:33.920 This is a documentary waiting to happen.

00:54:36.920 Yeah.

00:54:37.920 I mean, it definitely, it was, it was so scary.

00:54:40.920 It was so scary.

00:54:41.920 I never went on another hinge date again after that.

00:54:43.920 Was he just severely off putting other than face?

00:54:46.920 I didn't, I just didn't like him at all.

00:54:48.920 He was like, I, I, it sounds so bad.

00:54:51.920 I mentioned something about an ex boyfriend and he was like, can we please not talk about

00:54:55.920 our exes right now?

00:54:56.920 We're just getting to know each other.

00:54:57.920 I was like, I'm just mentioning something in passing. 1.00

00:54:59.920 Shut the fuck up. 1.00

00:55:00.920 Yeah. 1.00

00:55:01.920 Literally.

00:55:02.920 The dot is her throwing him off a boat in the middle of the lake.

00:55:05.920 Yeah. 1.00

00:55:06.920 No, dead ass. 1.00

00:55:07.920 He's like, I was busy in the middle of the air. 1.00

00:55:09.920 I was doing something.

00:55:10.920 He told me that he absolutely hated food.

00:55:12.920 Oh, bye.

00:55:13.920 Which is just like, I was like, this is just like not going to work for us.

00:55:17.920 I'm like, I just, it was very.

00:55:19.920 You hate food.

00:55:20.920 How do you eat?

00:55:21.920 Yeah.

00:55:22.920 What do you do?

00:55:23.920 Photosynthesis?

00:55:24.920 Just lay in the sun and ask for the leaves to give you the nutrients.

00:55:28.920 He's actually, he's a plant.

00:55:31.920 Yeah. 1.00

00:55:32.920 No, dead ass. 1.00

00:55:33.920 Like literally. 1.00

00:55:34.920 That's so off.

00:55:35.920 It was like one of those off putting dates.

00:55:37.920 Very off putting.

00:55:38.920 And I've never actually texted someone.

00:55:40.920 He asked me to hang out again.

00:55:41.920 And I, I didn't even just straight up ghost him.

00:55:43.920 I texted him and said, I don't think that we should ever see you.

00:55:46.920 He said it was so bad that I said, I don't want to ever see you.

00:55:49.920 Yeah.

00:55:50.920 I need to, I needed to make it clear.

00:55:52.920 I don't ever want to see you again.

00:55:53.920 Absolutely.

00:55:54.920 Well, good friends, good friends.

00:55:56.920 Good friends check and make sure you're not in the middle of the lake.

00:55:59.920 Yeah.

00:56:00.920 Thanks Lee.

00:56:01.920 Thanks Lee.

00:56:02.920 This one's for Leandra.

00:56:03.920 In 2013, Leandra performed in a show called Fab Prov at a fringe festival.

00:56:07.920 And then it says improv show?

00:56:08.920 Question mark?

00:56:09.920 Question mark?

00:56:10.920 Can you tell your improv stories?

00:56:13.920 I got the worst mark.

00:56:15.920 Because the only rule is yes and, and I was always saying no.

00:56:19.920 If I didn't want some girl in my scene, I said, literally, what are you doing here? 0.99

00:56:24.920 And then she would have to leave.

00:56:26.920 No.

00:56:28.920 The most Virgo thing to do in improv is refuse to go along with it.

00:56:33.920 Yeah.

00:56:34.920 You almost failed the class because you kept saying no.

00:56:36.920 Yeah.

00:56:37.920 And like, I would go in with just an idea already in my head.

00:56:40.920 So if someone changed it, I would be like, ah, no, and change it back to mine.

00:56:44.920 Like, I get it.

00:56:45.920 But, sorry.

00:56:46.920 Do you guys know Eric Cedeno from TikTok?

00:56:49.920 Yeah.

00:56:50.920 Rico Takedo?

00:56:51.920 Yeah.

00:56:52.920 If I showed you him, you probably know.

00:56:53.920 Oh, okay.

00:56:54.920 But he's also Virgo.

00:56:55.920 He's a good friend of mine.

00:56:56.920 He posted a video about doing improv.

00:56:57.920 And he literally said like, I was so excited.

00:56:58.920 I was like, oh my God, I'm going to learn about banter.

00:56:59.920 I'm going to learn how to riff.

00:57:00.920 Yeah.

00:57:01.920 He gave me a character I didn't like.

00:57:02.920 Yeah.

00:57:03.920 And I, like, refused to do well.

00:57:05.920 Because I was like, I don't like my character.

00:57:07.920 It's like the way you just refuse to participate because it's not going the right way.

00:57:11.920 No, yeah.

00:57:12.920 It's not going the way I've planned in my head.

00:57:14.920 Yeah, exactly.

00:57:15.920 What I meticulously planned.

00:57:16.920 Yeah.

00:57:17.920 Wasn't there one girl that you, like, found annoying and you would always find a way to

00:57:21.920 kill her or something? 0.94

00:57:22.920 That's just giving bullying. 0.99

00:57:23.920 So you don't need to get into that.

00:57:25.920 No, you know what that's giving?

00:57:26.920 That's giving, um, maybe I'll watch The Office.

00:57:28.920 Oh, yeah.

00:57:29.920 You remember Michael Scott when he does improv?

00:57:30.920 Yes.

00:57:31.920 Literally.

00:57:32.920 He always has a gun.

00:57:33.920 Yeah.

00:57:34.920 Yeah.

00:57:35.920 And then they're like, what did he say?

00:57:36.920 Because he whispered and he goes, he told me that I have to put my hands up because

00:57:37.920 he can't show me but he has a gun.

00:57:39.920 It's literally.

00:57:40.920 Not Leandro and improv.

00:57:41.920 Exactly.

00:57:42.920 Yeah.

00:57:43.920 I loved it.

00:57:44.920 And he performed at a Fringe festival?

00:57:46.920 Well, it was at our school.

00:57:47.920 It was at our school.

00:57:48.920 It was at our school.

00:57:49.920 Because we went to an arts school.

00:57:50.920 Love.

00:57:51.920 Uh, yeah, there were teachers in the audience.

00:57:52.920 I just came in hot.

00:57:53.920 Like, I remember one of my characters was like a talent agent in Hollywood who was like smoking through 0.81

00:57:58.920 the hole in her neck.

00:57:59.920 It was like a star.

00:58:02.920 And then my history teacher was like, I actually can't look at you the same.

00:58:05.920 You're actually a little too far in.

00:58:09.920 Yeah.

00:58:10.920 Yeah.

00:58:11.920 Yeah.

00:58:12.920 And I'm scared.

00:58:13.920 It's giving Joker now.

00:58:14.920 Yeah.

00:58:15.920 I'm sorry.

00:58:16.920 Well, that's all our fun facts.

00:58:17.920 Everybody give it up for all our fun facts.

00:58:19.920 Wow.

00:58:20.920 Good research.

00:58:21.920 I've learned a lot about y'all.

00:58:22.920 Yeah.

00:58:23.920 I have.

00:58:24.920 Are you scared?

00:58:25.920 Yeah.

00:58:26.920 No, honestly, I'm even more intrigued than when we began.

00:58:27.920 Yeah.

00:58:28.920 I could have never guessed what your lives looked like.

00:58:29.920 No.

00:58:30.920 I would have been wrong every guess.

00:58:31.920 The barber in the throat smoke.

00:58:33.920 Pokemon card collector.

00:58:35.920 A hater of men on hinge.

00:58:36.920 Yeah.

00:58:37.920 Yeah.

00:58:38.920 Yeah.

00:58:39.920 Absolutely.

00:58:40.920 Well, before we, before we wrap here, I'd love to know since y'all are so homegrown.

00:58:45.920 I love that about y'all.

00:58:46.920 I love that y'all have been together riding together for years. 0.92

00:58:48.920 It's fucking awesome.

00:58:49.920 And I'm, it's an honor to have y'all. 0.96

00:58:51.920 I'm so excited for the rest of the world to keep loving on y'all.

00:58:55.920 But before we go, do y'all have any advice for any aspiring artists who maybe want to be

00:58:59.920 in a band, be musicians, make it if you will.

00:59:02.920 So I would say do it with your friends.

00:59:05.920 Yeah.

00:59:06.920 We started this as friends and we're even closer now.

00:59:08.920 And I think that's been like our sort of our superpower, especially being like women 1.00

00:59:13.920 in the music industry.

00:59:14.920 It can be.

00:59:15.920 Totally.

00:59:16.920 Like, especially, you know, solo female artists can be so, it can be so isolating.

00:59:19.920 Yeah.

00:59:20.920 So we're just like lucky to have each other.

00:59:21.920 So yeah, I'd say do it with your friends.

00:59:23.920 And I know everyone says it, but practice is very important.

00:59:27.920 And you have to be, you just have to like be a really, really, really good live unit,

00:59:32.920 a live band.

00:59:33.920 Love.

00:59:34.920 Make it.

00:59:35.920 Yeah.

00:59:36.920 Hire women for your team.

00:59:37.920 Love that.

00:59:38.920 Same.

00:59:39.920 Hire women and queer people. 0.98

00:59:40.920 Yeah. 0.67

00:59:41.920 Right.

00:59:42.920 Period.

00:59:43.920 Period.

00:59:44.920 Period.

00:59:45.920 And Chaperone said, I can tell.

00:59:46.920 Clocked my t-shirt.

00:59:48.920 And I just like think that you should kind of keep posting, keep trying at it.

00:59:54.920 Like, even if it doesn't happen right away, it still might happen for you.

00:59:57.920 We've been doing this for like 10 years, 10 years.

00:59:59.920 And it took us this long to kind of get to where we are now.

01:00:01.920 And for the love of the game.

01:00:02.920 Y'all have been doing it for the love of the game too, which is amazing.

01:00:05.920 Yeah.

01:00:06.920 Yeah.

01:00:07.920 And that's why I think that's why y'all have done so well, like, and sustained,

01:00:10.920 because it's because it means something to you.

01:00:12.920 It's not just to like get rich and famous.

01:00:14.920 Yeah.

01:00:15.920 It's because we like to have fun too, right?

01:00:16.920 Yeah.

01:00:17.920 Totally.

01:00:18.920 And it's the most fun job in the world.

01:00:19.920 Like, we get to go to different cities together, like, with our best friends every single day

01:00:22.920 and just like have fun, literally get paid to have fun on stage.

01:00:25.920 Yeah.

01:00:26.920 And it's the same job.

01:00:27.920 Period.

01:00:28.920 We're not that serious.

01:00:29.920 We're not that serious.

01:00:30.920 We're not that serious.

01:00:31.920 You get out.

01:00:33.920 I love that about y'all.

01:00:34.920 It's never serious.

01:00:35.920 I hope that never changes about y'all.

01:00:36.920 We just want to have fun, you know?

01:00:38.920 Period. 0.83

01:00:39.920 That's the key, honestly, especially because this industry is so fucking hard. 0.91

01:00:42.920 Yeah. 0.92

01:00:43.920 Especially for women. 0.92

01:00:44.920 And queer people in general.

01:00:45.920 Totally.

01:00:46.920 Yeah.

01:00:47.920 But thank y'all so much for coming on the show. 0.93

01:00:48.920 I fucking love y'all. 0.58

01:00:49.920 Thank you so much for having us. 0.94

01:00:50.920 We love you.

01:00:51.920 I'm obsessed with y'all.

01:00:52.920 You guys are amazing.

01:00:53.920 For everyone who doesn't know or may not know, where can they find you?
