00:01:01.240 knip shit before literally you were telling you're like you have no idea i was like just 0.82

00:01:06.300 like five feet i was like five feet apart drew i'm like actually but you know what anyway enough 0.93

00:01:47.660 me too we've come a long way me and serious go way way way back to like instagram live and i dare

00:01:54.560 i say you saw my sparkle before most people did oh yeah it was glittering so it was glittering so

00:01:59.900 loud i say because i i remember you were one of the first people with a verified check mark mind you

00:02:05.620 uh to reach out to me and be like hey i think you're fucking awesome we should do something on live 0.86

00:02:10.820 yeah correct also didn't pay for that verified blue check mark mind you no didn't hold a whole 0.90

00:02:15.140 press strategy we didn't yeah you're a fucking rocket star that was so fun no but seeing your 0.97

00:02:19.520 career and your journey has been so fulfilling likewise and also constantly texting with your 0.98

00:02:27.160 mother has been my favorite second favorite part of being a part of your journey that's everyone's

00:02:33.280 thing they're like i love your mom no it's like your mom more than me i know your mom your man your

00:02:37.420 sister i'm just like in it for the ride thank god all of you imagine my posse was the worst

00:02:43.400 one time when i when this girl made like a hate video about me she said that she saw me walking 1.00

00:02:48.280 around with my posse and i was like that's my family and also it's my mother so you were also

00:02:54.120 watching me yeah i was like that's my mother my god people are crazy people are people have not

00:02:59.960 changed they're still crazy yeah we're just getting a little bit of a different type of crazy i agree

00:03:04.260 or people are just getting more like i feel like and maybe you agree with this with this new scary

00:03:10.020 era this newer scary era this scara many many of them have been scaras yeah for a minute um i feel

00:03:16.620 like now more than ever is the time to experience joy yeah like because it's almost like well the

00:03:22.360 world's ending yeah what else are we gonna do no 100 i've also i think i'm done i'm done changing

00:03:28.800 people's minds for real i'm like if you want to come onto my platform giggle laugh maybe start to

00:03:35.220 change the way that you see things on your own we can kiki all day sweetheart if you expect me to do

00:03:42.780 more work right honey we've put in the work yeah i've done as much as i can do and i genuinely think

00:03:47.340 to my core there at this point we've just seen people there are people don't want to change you laugh

00:03:52.100 i'm gonna laugh for i'm still gonna be prettier than you and and that's fine that's our we just have to

00:03:57.380 we just have to say it out loud stop denying we all need to come to terms with it it'll be a lot

00:04:03.380 easier yes thank you well and that's another thing i love about you because obviously obviously

00:04:08.300 we i've known you for years but i love that you're so you're so willing and so fun that like even

00:04:15.560 when people are still being yeah a teensy bit offensive yeah you're like go ahead and sit down

00:04:21.300 i'll explain to you why that's really bad i think you know what it is let me and you know what it

00:04:25.500 is too and like sit down like in your own space because again five feet still from them right um

00:04:30.940 i'm just i think what it is is i wish that when i was younger i had the power to be able to articulate 0.95

00:04:40.740 exactly what i wanted to say even if that was like fuck off yeah and that's fine too like i didn't 0.85

00:04:47.360 have that power ranging from anything and then i think part of it too is that like what i've seen 0.97

00:04:51.660 is the people who support me and are in my circle my followers and they actually will then take

00:04:56.920 what the way that i respond to people and the way that i react and they use it in their own lives

00:05:02.940 yeah so for me it's like we're giggling we're laughing like anytime i see either you post something

00:05:07.420 or like teffy or someone that's so the reality is that i really do think people are taking that and

00:05:12.480 like i agree which i think is amazing yeah because i'm like there there's only so much that i can do 0.78

00:05:17.120 like babe it's your life you have to figure out how to navigate this you know shithole together 0.68

00:05:22.760 right now it's i agree and i feel like i just feel like you're one of the best people to use as a as

00:05:29.000 any sort of source whether it's like inspiration or just education because obviously education should

00:05:33.960 not fall on on the shoulders of the marginalized or oppressed it shouldn't and but even you like

00:05:39.840 still the way that you post and the way you talk about things you still do it in a way that's still

00:05:43.980 so like sweet and enlightened and like it's it's still like it's almost like you're the polar

00:05:50.000 opposite of me which i like which i love we're duality like two sides of the same coin like the

00:05:55.200 way that you do it is like oh i'm not gonna sit here and explain it to you but you can look you can 0.99

00:05:59.160 look and understand and all of those things that's fine you can perceive from afar and i'm like fuck 0.89

00:06:04.920 listen though you my version you hold in a lot so then when i'm at my wit's end yeah my phone drew 0.93

00:06:13.060 watch all your videos do you know what i mean like it is a form of a catharsis that it just it's like

00:06:20.200 everybody has a way to handle the situation i agree you have to figure out when it works however i will

00:06:26.140 say this i feel like i've told you this yeah i'm nice 97 of the time that three percent of the time

00:06:34.180 i promise yes my mean is meaner than your mean yeah i can go low i can go and clock and i can go

00:06:41.340 like middle school degrading low of like when i used to like bully bullies like that i don't ever

00:06:48.820 want to go there i don't think anyone should ever see it right but i can go there absolutely and you're 0.90

00:06:53.440 way too fucking smart so that's another thing both of us contending with a hundred percent but i do 0.81

00:06:58.680 think drew you're also you do have a your your soft side is also not many people no no no no but i'm 0.89

00:07:07.840 very privileged and mind you let's check in in a year and see how i feel i'm like i'm nice now but

00:07:13.300 like i'm going through it but you're you are going through but guess what you're rising above the ashes

00:07:18.960 bitch because your career has never been higher i'm so happy for you thank you you know what's so 0.97

00:07:24.600 funny i we joke about this all the time privately but like we are always talking about each other 0.98

00:07:29.040 and singing our praises about each other and then putting ourselves onto other brands we do that

00:07:34.320 all the time sarusa has put me on to so many brands literally or like all i need is a text and

00:07:40.040 we don't like okay so hi christine pearson from codaly who we love i need to just and then it's the

00:07:45.860 but it's vice versa i agree because i pitched you for something too and you did it for amazon

00:07:50.860 yes yeah yeah yeah for amazon winners love to see other winners win i agree that's i think that is

00:07:56.160 what it is too and i literally was so when i was filled with so much joy when i saw that they picked

00:08:00.060 you because i was like sarus is such a star thank god i was like yes exactly that that feeling very

00:08:06.020 much resonated with me too and i think it's i don't know if you feel this way right now i feel like

00:08:11.680 we've talked about this too when i've come up as a figure in media as someone who does comedy content

00:08:18.160 on tiktok as someone who works in the influencer space for work like that's my job i think not being

00:08:24.880 specifically cast in your characterization of what society sees you as yeah is empowering i'm like i'm

00:08:34.520 i'm mass bitch like i'm you know what i mean like i'm like at this point and i i think this i feel 0.96

00:08:41.000 like in our little circle of people even though we don't live in the same places and even though we 0.88

00:08:46.560 don't go to the same events all the time i feel like we're constantly thinking the same way i agree

00:08:53.660 we're so aligned i ask sarus about business advice all the time and i'm happy to give it yeah i literally

00:08:59.440 we we can't well we'll face time for hours but we'll talk about business probably about 10 minutes

00:09:03.660 yeah yeah this is just a key yeah but i the last business advice you gave me what was it i'm scared

00:09:08.620 it was about pr oh yeah and you were and yeah and you said like i don't want to tell you who to

00:09:14.140 choose but choose the other one i'm straight up no no no because listen because if it was someone

00:09:19.900 that i didn't love as much i'd be like yeah i'm kidding but like no i'm just but like i again i i think

00:09:27.440 now i know when i go back to winners want to see other winners win i agree i know who on the other

00:09:32.520 side of the industry yeah will actually show up exactly that's different i i agree that's why i

00:09:37.740 seek your counsel often thank you because i'm like i need to ask my i need to ask my oh listen that

00:09:43.220 library president that library will never close mama you can always come over i'm like just at this

00:09:49.300 point like what i can't gatekeep anything that's you know what i mean well and that's why i think

00:09:53.560 you're so wonderful because i i feel like i talked about this with karamo brown yeah yeah yeah but i

00:09:57.800 was saying like i have no i walk and i know you walk in this too because we're alike in this sense

00:10:02.860 but like in a sense of abundance like i have an abundance mindset so do you so it's like anything

00:10:08.180 i offer in terms of advice or or guidance or whatever is because i have no fear of lack and i know

00:10:13.960 you don't have that either no and so it's it's i feel like it the universe works in such beautiful

00:10:19.520 karmic ways when you're like that when you walk through the especially this business do you feel

00:10:23.800 what do you think was your turning point i feel like i know what was mine like when i found peace

00:10:29.220 like when i found peace and i chose that joy abundance mindset um probably when i started

00:10:35.640 working for real like in in like grown-up jobs but more specifically in sports because i felt like

00:10:41.060 there were so few women already that i was like well i'm not gonna turn on my sisters like my girls

00:10:46.780 that are here and then when i got to the actual nfl and i was being turned on by my sisters i was

00:10:52.500 like well this is not how we do things like i just remember thinking like that is such a poisonous

00:10:58.220 mindset to have and it wasn't just applying to women like in that in work environment it felt so

00:11:03.500 like competitive yeah but in a way that's like i have to get it before you do or i want it because

00:11:08.860 you have it like i don't move that way like that is so icky to me so when i started doing this and

00:11:14.560 running my own business i was like i'm not moving that way yeah heavy on the running your own

00:11:18.240 business right yeah you too at the end of the day that is no i'm telling you like it has i think

00:11:23.540 the the selfish part of having a platform is a sense of power like i'm not gonna lie like having the power 1.00

00:11:30.920 to know that like if my friends go out and someone is really homophobic to them at some stupid fucking 0.99

00:11:37.380 like bro bar mama it'll take me one geotag to have that place shut yeah me too that's power yeah 1.00

00:11:45.200 like that's a form that's a loaded gun that's a loaded gun that's really really that to me again

00:11:51.440 it seems very superficial but i think it is those little things that maybe again it's because like

00:11:57.080 when i was younger i didn't have that power and now yeah totally i think it's like i've always 0.99

00:12:01.240 believed i feel like you have too that like if you're gonna say it say with that fucking chest 0.99

00:12:04.320 for real say with that chest so like why would you care if i just showed millions of people 0.98

00:12:08.960 exactly why would you care well clearly you didn't care yeah you said i didn't say it what was the

00:12:13.280 turning point for you i think it okay so i did something insane i would do right when we first

00:12:19.640 started and i first started i would set like a 30 minute alarm just 30 minutes and i would just sit

00:12:26.700 in silence like i wouldn't even meditate i would just sit and i think for me it was because i really

00:12:31.500 feared loneliness like i really feared being alone and then i realized over time first of all 0.96

00:12:37.220 i was like i'm fucking psycho like my brother would be like what are you do like this is insane but i 0.98

00:12:41.560 would literally sit in those 30 minutes yeah and i would make myself accustomed to being alone 0.98

00:12:47.760 and i think it was different than choosing to live a life of loneliness i think it was choosing

00:12:56.240 loneliness and moments to like better connect with myself that was my turning point because then it was

00:13:00.620 like i'm the only i'm the only person that has my own back if i can be alone yeah and be content and

00:13:05.520 sit in a room that's really awkward alone and not do anything and get to a point where that actually

00:13:10.360 brings me joy yeah it is the only way i feel like i've been able to like maintain my climb that's it

00:13:17.580 it's weird though it's really weird it is it is of like i think with no context it may sound strange

00:13:23.660 but also we're so surrounded by noise that it would seem strange to the average person i tell my

00:13:28.240 followers that all the time they're like okay sister they're like not doing that they're like

00:13:32.580 let's okay love you we'll definitely still following it's so funny you say that because

00:13:37.580 since i started doing this i felt like like if i film my show like i'm doing today or like some

00:13:44.140 days i'll film like three episodes in a day i think the most i've ever done in a day is like four

00:13:47.720 which is just me yapping for a fucking hour right yeah which is a dream job don't get me wrong yeah 0.91

00:13:52.660 but then like when i go into my like green room at home like my dressing room at my studio and i go 0.82

00:13:58.140 in my i'll go directly into my bathroom after i'm done and i'll just sit on the toilet in silence yeah

00:14:03.680 people ask me i don't even look at my phone people ask me what do i do for fun now and i tell them i 0.97

00:14:07.100 steam i go into the bathroom i crank that shit to like 180 degrees in my shower and i sit in silence 0.92

00:14:13.660 and that is you know i'm not even kidding i'm gonna copy you yeah it is i'm telling you i'm gonna copy 0.99

00:14:18.720 that clean mind clean pores no that's two things at once and you have the best skin i've ever seen 0.93

00:14:23.560 on a human in my entire life and i'm being so dead ass like it's work no i mean your skin is glass 0.96

00:14:28.480 it takes that work i'm like loneliness it'll do wonders for the skin but it is true i think that 0.85

00:14:34.720 is like even when people ask me for advice all the time i'm like you're gonna be you're gonna be

00:14:38.520 moving so much you're gonna be traveling so much even when you see your your friends who are creators

00:14:42.800 at events a lot of it is still work like a lot of it is still it always you're exhausted so when you

00:14:48.080 have that time i swear like right now with we have the puppy and with michael like i don't leave

00:14:53.220 the apartment i only leave there's a little check there's a little something yeah or like friends 0.85

00:14:59.220 you're literally me yeah i never leave my fucking house ever to the point where i started talking 0.97

00:15:04.800 about in therapy yeah i started telling my girl i was like sometimes i think i'm getting agoraphobic 0.98

00:15:09.780 yeah oh no i i i'm delusional the other day my friend had a birthday party i texted them i'm like

00:15:14.800 do you have the uber code i was like i i was like girl i am i am i am exhausted no i'm i'm

00:15:21.560 obviously kidding no but i i do i i think that is my only that is the only frustration that i felt is

00:15:28.040 that like i'm very comfortable at home now and i really do feel like i'm trying to push myself to

00:15:36.260 enjoy the things that even when i'm exhausted and even when it's tiring i loved it to do like

00:15:43.080 michael and i we like we'll like book date nights like we'll make sure that it's in the calendar 0.98

00:15:48.100 which is so weird i know white people shit is so fucking weird having to plan my dates plan them 0.99

00:15:56.580 are you crazy and like intention like do you intentionally say you're like we're going to 1.00

00:16:01.160 leave the house we're going to leave the house it's like a cal invite fucking kill me it's so sad 1.00

00:16:07.040 but it's the only way i really do think it is like and you know you and your man have been 0.98

00:16:10.840 together for a while yeah michael and i were hitting plus six years like it is it is so 0.99

00:16:15.320 no it's insane and you're tall as fuck which i always forget until i see you in person yeah i 0.99

00:16:20.940 will say you're so heels help you're naturally so tall your whole family's tall no kov is a giant 1.00

00:16:26.840 he's like six six it's not that bad i'm like you can't ride on roller coasters bitch i don't know 1.00

00:16:31.300 what you're talking about it's pretty bad yeah fuck you no it's really bad um but no i i you know 0.99

00:16:36.860 i think that is one thing that i'm i'm really starting to um try and find some equilibrium 0.99

00:16:41.480 with yeah it's normal human time yeah it's great it's amazing yeah normal human time is awesome i

00:16:47.380 know you text me too when i took my break and that was a big reason why i took my break too

00:16:51.320 uh was because i was like i need to go touch fucking grass i need to go be normal like i need to go out 0.99

00:16:56.700 in the real world and like i went to the movies to see sinners i haven't been to the movies in like 0.88

00:17:02.240 two and a half years yeah like literally i haven't seen one movie yeah and so i was like i when i was

00:17:07.480 going to the movies i went with britney yeah and my sister my man and when i was ready before everyone

00:17:14.060 which is a shock yeah it's like shocking and um i was just pacing around my room and then my man was

00:17:21.720 like is everything okay and i was like yeah yeah i just feel like should i change i like changed like

00:17:26.020 three times everyone in the movies like it's not serious yeah and he's like is everything all right

00:17:29.940 and i was like i don't know i just feel like i'm feeling so like weirdly anxious like i don't know

00:17:35.240 and then i realized i was like nervous to go to the movies yeah because i was like that's why i'm in

00:17:40.000 therapy i'm like i think i'm becoming afraid of the outside world yeah and me too my therapist

00:17:45.420 literally told me not even a week ago she was like because i was telling her i was having a bad day

00:17:51.320 and i was feeling like very overwhelmed and stressed because one of my dogs speaking of dogs we're

00:17:56.000 going to talk about your yeah we have to we have to we have a story to tell you from this morning

00:18:01.620 mind you so one of my one of my two frenchies my one that's not really sick ever he got really sick

00:18:09.220 and so i had to take him to the vet and like it was like oh yeah i remember i was yeah he ate something

00:18:13.800 whatever they eat the crazy shit oh girl anything and it doesn't even taste good and i'm and i have 0.91

00:18:19.260 frenchies so i'm already fighting their loss of life yeah pretty frequently um so like and i fostered them 0.99

00:18:25.220 so stop yes but um this is my deaf baby like and so i had to take him to the the hospital and it was

00:18:31.740 like really stressful and then i had a girl like literally she was uh learning to be a vet so she

00:18:38.380 was like a they're in their residency yeah yeah yeah and so she was standing there and then she was

00:18:43.660 like the doctor was like do you have any other do you have any questions for them and then the girl

00:18:48.240 was like no i don't think so and then she goes i do actually have one question are you on tiktok

00:18:54.220 and then i go yeah i am and then she goes oh my god i knew it mind you i think my dog is dying so

00:19:01.500 it's clear i've been crying also isn't there like hippa for animals like you can't cross that

00:19:06.180 boundaries apparently not we have to do something about it yeah so i was like i just felt so like

00:19:13.280 encroached on and i felt violated and then i was like i can't even put my address on like my

00:19:18.940 dog's profile because like i don't know i don't know what you're gonna do with it and it's just one of

00:19:22.960 those things where it's just it's one of those things that makes me crack out about being seen

00:19:26.800 all the time yeah so i was explaining this to my therapist and i was like sometimes i feel like a

00:19:30.900 zoo animal like i just feel like i'm an attraction and everyone gets to come and i can hear everything

00:19:35.620 and i can feel them tapping you're the one at the vet like you're the animal exactly no i'm kidding

00:19:41.440 no it's really and i need to be spayed yeah no it's really i'm like do i was met yeah do all the

00:19:46.120 procedures honestly clean me out colonics do whatever you have to do no but it is i get that yeah it's

00:19:50.800 it's really it's over it can get really overwhelming sometimes especially the professional

00:19:53.840 atmosphere like that and especially in a private you can use my address no i'll just use mine

00:19:58.400 you can forward it all to me i'm fine and my therapist literally told me she goes well you know

00:20:04.640 like and i was like you know like i know animals aren't supposed to be in captivity and that's how

00:20:07.940 it feels and she goes well even the ones that do thrive in captivity like it's not natural for

00:20:11.800 them to be in there like even if and she goes even if they look happy in there they have babies

00:20:16.480 and stuff in inside the cage she's like they're still in the cage so they it's still not natural

00:20:21.600 for them to be in the cage so and then she goes and i go yeah and it makes me feel like i'm trapped

00:20:27.000 because it's like i don't i'm not ungrateful for what i have but this part i didn't anticipate having

00:20:31.800 to deal with yeah it's just a lot and she goes yeah those are called double binds when it's like

00:20:35.360 damned if you do damage you don't and i was like i just feel like it makes me feel like i'm going insane 0.85

00:20:39.500 yeah and then she goes well you know double binds frequent double binds and encountering them 0.99

00:20:44.080 does tend to trigger psychosis in most people especially women she says that to me i go

00:20:49.940 oh i'd be like we have to wrap we have to wrap this because this session so i feel like i'm going

00:20:55.620 insane because i am it is it's really it's real because i am like i was like oh wow right right

00:21:04.220 right right right right i love off to off to a little um getaway by the sea you know what i mean

00:21:09.260 like i think sometimes i'm like yeah i'm ready take me i'm gonna have to go upstate i'm gonna have to

00:21:13.420 go up up upstate they're gonna take me out back and yeah yeah crazy literally don't miss i'm like

00:21:19.900 literally don't i fear they'll miss i um no it really is and i and i do think that it's not even

00:21:28.940 there is the idea that many things can be true than once at once it's just it's not i don't think

00:21:34.700 it's a concept that a lot of people understand i agree it is hard i mean like even like when people

00:21:38.820 ask me like that's what you do hard and i say what i physically do it's not hard yeah the things

00:21:43.900 that i have to do when i have to shoot things i have joy in that it's a lot of work i get tired

00:21:47.780 there's definitely more difficult days the i think the most the hardest part was getting to where i'm

00:21:52.320 at yeah i had to fight the battles that i had to fight i agree even with people that i love i had to

00:21:56.120 fight battles right right and then having to pretend like the things that don't bring you crippling

00:22:04.680 anxiety aren't bringing you crippling anxiety like i and then if i explained it to people and

00:22:10.160 they're like what's wrong i'm like i i literally nothing it's all in like i'm like it's literally

00:22:14.980 my head it's this stuck up there i can't explain it yeah like that's the problem same and i've told

00:22:20.680 people that's another reason why when creators ask me for advice too i always tell them like the first

00:22:25.260 thing i say is are you in therapy if not get in it if you can the next question i ask is do you have

00:22:30.840 any friends in the industry like make friends who do the exact same thing you do oh because girl the 0.90

00:22:36.920 way we grip each other when shit like this happens it's like no because nobody understands nobody can

00:22:42.400 relate to your problems which i don't think you should be able to like i would never sit across 0.98

00:22:47.240 from like a health worker or a teacher and be like you guys don't understand how fucking hard it is 0.97

00:22:51.900 obviously not because your job is infinitely harder than mine i'm just a dickhead on the internet 0.58

00:22:56.320 yeah correct what i've told people though is like you said two things can be true at the same time

00:23:01.060 is this job the hardest job in the world no but does this job come with such a specifically unique

00:23:07.140 set of issues that no one on the planet knows how to deal with yes and that's true that's okay

00:23:12.700 that's fine no if i if i'm walking into a sweet green and the line is more than like 15 people and

00:23:17.780 i'm having a panic attack i'm not calling my dad he's gonna be like grip the fuck up and go and get 0.98

00:23:22.400 your salad bitch like i'm calling you it's very different i'm like i don't i'm like even like 1.00

00:23:27.260 with being with being recognized it's funny a lot of people and i think the fallacy it may exist i 0.98

00:23:33.920 think with like a lot of the sort of because the creator economy is so inundated now and we have a

00:23:39.040 lot of egos i think it is about like oh like to be seen and whatever my primary goal is safety same i

00:23:45.300 don't give a fuck about anything except being safe mind you when i'm with my family i'm even more 0.55

00:23:49.520 nervous same like when my parents want to go to a restaurant that's like really i'm not even joking 0.75

00:23:53.680 like i don't want to like i'm like listen i don't i don't trust people same i'm good with like i don't

00:23:58.840 i just don't you just never know what's gonna happen yeah i did i i agree and it's and it's

00:24:02.920 something that like again you you wouldn't understand unless it was you and i think i've

00:24:07.680 even said this in therapy too i think i've talked about it on the show where like i've talked about

00:24:11.740 this in therapy extensively but like when i was a kid and i would watch celebrities like have

00:24:17.460 these freak outs like at paparazzi or they would be like leave me alone or whatever and people talk

00:24:21.600 about having really rude interactions are a lot of them like could a lot of them be stated as rude

00:24:26.440 sure right but could many of them just be the byproduct of being followed looked at talked to and screamed

00:24:33.260 at constantly yes and i was like and this was before like social media i came and imagine how bad it was

00:24:40.100 then yeah now we have the internet it's just terrible in a different way like it's like one bad

00:24:44.740 interaction could have a video go hundred percent fucking viral and then people are like oh she's 0.98

00:24:50.260 the rudest person i've ever met she's so fucking mean like she's so this she's so that and then 1.00

00:24:54.400 everyone just starts making shit up it's like it's the most anxiety inducing thing because i struggle 0.99

00:24:59.660 with not being able to control and i cannot control that no matter what i do no matter how perfect and 0.79

00:25:05.480 awesome and amazing i am yeah i can't control that so like the anxiety i feel that's why i said i feel

00:25:10.240 like i'm becoming agoraphobic i don't like to go anywhere where there's a lot of people and one

00:25:14.800 time i did an interview with rolling stone and i was like she was like oh yeah like do you have like

00:25:19.020 do they do you hang out with like family and stuff i was like all the time i take my family everywhere

00:25:24.000 it's part of the reason why i feel better but also why i i'm nervous because like you know it's those

00:25:29.240 two things it's like yeah it's like i can't keep all of them with me at all times even though i want to

00:25:33.480 yeah always and they had mentioned something about milestone parties and i was like

00:25:37.160 yeah i don't really go to those anymore like i can't go to weddings i can't go to baby showers i

00:25:42.540 can't go to funerals i can't go to anything like that because when i do i pull focus and like that's 0.90

00:25:49.280 not a brag it's the worst thing in the world you want to celebrate my fucking birthday it's the worst 0.99

00:25:53.240 thing in the world when i hang out with family birthday dinner i it's just so terrible like it's 0.98

00:25:58.320 i even when i go out to birthday dinners like it's awful it's it's one of those things where it's like

00:26:02.920 it's not worth it to me because i'm i feel like i'm pulling focus and that's unfair yeah and i've

00:26:09.100 had i've had people asked to take pictures with me at funerals is this the place is this the place

00:26:15.760 but then no that's disturbing right that's what i'm and i'm like it's it's almost like that saying

00:26:21.440 when they're like clout is a hell of a drug like fame yeah yeah that's what it is it's like it's just

00:26:26.100 this incessant need to be like oh i need people to know that i saw this person that many people know

00:26:31.420 yeah or that's when i'm like i'm not i don't i'm not famous i'm but i think i'm known that's 0.55

00:26:37.160 the difference and bitch i'd rather not be known i'd rather be famous honestly i'd rather be famous 0.99

00:26:42.300 on planes and not talking to any like i and you've you know you have a lot of really famous friends 0.96

00:26:47.080 that are also in traditional talent so do i and you know when we talk to them they're like i don't

00:26:52.020 know how you guys do it because i've had real celebrities tell me like that's worse to me because

00:26:57.740 that's like all of the the view like you have the world view like people can see you the way that

00:27:03.420 they can see celebrities but you have none of the protections no but they're also they're also so

00:27:09.020 funny i was like the other day but then they don't i also sometimes don't realize we operate very

00:27:13.140 differently yeah and like sometimes like famous people don't realize how famous they are in certain

00:27:18.060 situations because they're so out of it jvn once texted me love them they were like oh my gosh can i can

00:27:24.620 you like i would love la mare like i want them i'm like girl they will put you on the pr list in 0.95

00:27:30.660 two seconds yeah are you crazy i was like they were like i'll do this i'll do that i'm like 0.68

00:27:34.940 jonathan you're jonathan vaness bitch like it's so funny i'm like but it's it's the it's this endearing 0.99

00:27:43.600 it's like i i think building relationships in the industry one with really good people yeah but then 0.90

00:27:50.760 also too with people who have a different type of fame like you talk about like non-traditional talent

00:27:54.700 traditional talent and then being somewhere in between yeah it's very fascinating like we live

00:27:59.000 very different lives it's so very different because when i go when i work carpets right like

00:28:04.140 when i do carpet interviews uh like i when i did sag when you host yes when you keynote hosts carpet

00:28:10.340 interviews period clock it when i was hosting sag i like the carpet for sag i i went like obviously i i

00:28:17.200 got a lot of great people there which is awesome and then i went inside did winner's walk when i was

00:28:21.200 going inside the security guy was like huge fan i was like oh thanks and i was like rare to have a man

00:28:27.780 be a fan i was gonna say we'll take it a win is a win yeah and then there was like a couple girls 1.00

00:28:31.860 working the award show that told me that there was like a bathroom attendant that told me that i was

00:28:35.360 like oh period and i was with uh one of my girls from in style and she was like man everybody knows you 0.53

00:28:41.380 and i go yeah i'm in this really weird pocket of fame where like everybody working the event 0.85

00:28:47.200 loves me and everybody attending the event also loves me everybody else fucking hates me this is 0.94

00:28:53.180 can you first of all clip that because that is the most second of all that is that could not be more 0.94

00:29:00.560 i can give you a perfect example i'm having so i got invited to go during fashion week to the

00:29:05.920 michael kors runway show period love that team they're amazing um i it's a that show is a

00:29:11.360 traditionally more talent focused show where they invite celebrities to go especially during

00:29:16.120 their like seasonal new york right yes so i'm i'm i'm having a panic attack because mind you this is

00:29:21.600 like one of my big celebrity and i really want to make a good impression on these things anyway

00:29:24.060 so i go sit down and i am around a bunch of celebrities and it's one of the first times that

00:29:30.800 i actually felt not imposter syndrome but i felt i am online going blah blah blah you need this blah blah

00:29:38.740 and they're like getting oscars it's a little different and you're sitting next to each other

00:29:44.060 literally i'm like patting down the sweat with my amazing huda beauty setting not sponsored right

00:29:50.680 but it's it's so then what happened was i was sitting there and i remember i really wanted to text my

00:29:54.400 dad because really it was really anxious and i was like i feel like i'm too in my head

00:29:58.020 so i remember as i was pulling out my phone kerry washington like walked right by me and she went 0.92

00:30:04.260 she sort of stopped and she went you and i was like she was like i love you and then walked away 0.80

00:30:12.420 and i was like okay and then so i but then i kept going i had my phone out so i was like okay i was

00:30:17.720 still gonna text my dad so then rachel ziegler comes love her same thing comes up she goes i love

00:30:24.020 your content and i'm like oh i'm really in my head yeah i'm like oh i'm but that but it's different

00:30:29.660 i'm telling you it's like it's to be known and to not see it i think it causes this very

00:30:36.040 weird i agree belonging because i'm just like i think also like you and i we have very traditional

00:30:43.560 talent like like our opportunities like we we have more to offer than just what this creator economy

00:30:49.500 has built which i'm really grateful for sure you are too but i think like that is something that

00:30:55.800 i always grapple with because in this industry as you know right like it's like you have certain

00:30:59.940 opportunities that come to you when you're more traditional talent yep fashion is one of them

00:31:04.600 especially if you want to do luxury yeah very different than like luxury beauty that there's

00:31:08.440 some leeway i agree because i'm on luxury yeah there's there's some days and days on those teams

00:31:12.660 they don't really mind when it comes to paris forget it you're out like i'm like chopped

00:31:16.360 exactly so then but you know what it is it's it's i think then it's this double-edged sword i mean i

00:31:22.400 know actors who are getting invited to can and who are getting invited to all of these shows runway

00:31:29.060 shows they're getting dressed by all the amazing brands they haven't paid a bill and been able to

00:31:35.000 in weeks because their jobs line up that's two versus i know creators that make more than a-list actors

00:31:42.100 yeah that's actually two it's very interesting it is so strange and and you work

00:31:46.340 in the creator economy for so long behind the scenes yeah so i'm sure it's a very oh it's

00:31:50.520 unbelievable like strange and it's also another reason why i feel like the natural like i don't

00:31:57.440 know merging of the two worlds yeah i think is coming down the pipeline like it and it's one of

00:32:02.160 those things too that we fight against when we do move into spaces with traditional talent where

00:32:06.940 sometimes like they'll they'll invite me to the shit but then they ask me to park cars while i'm 0.94

00:32:11.320 there like that's how it feels they'll invite me to the shit and then tell me to wait some tables 0.98

00:32:15.020 while i'm there just to kind of help out a hundred percent or just like hey like here's a phone make 0.94

00:32:19.920 like 15 tiktoks and you're like oh why i don't know if that was in the scope like i'm like

00:32:25.080 i just it is it's i'm like as long as like you teffy and like aching are at events like i feel more

00:32:32.020 comfortable like i'm not even joking like it's a very i do think um i think we occupy a very and i

00:32:38.000 think that's why sometimes when i post more serious content i actually tend to reach serious content

00:32:43.120 when i'm talking about like familial relationships when like kids come out as queer like serious

00:32:47.060 content when i'm talking about worldly issues and political issues like i do feel like i

00:32:51.620 am actually then making more of that impact and i feel and when i'm writing like writing is something

00:32:56.700 that i've done and i have you are such a wonderful writer thank you i'm very excited i have like actual

00:33:01.720 projects like this is the thing like i have actual projects that are coming out that are so

00:33:05.100 excited honestly a lot of them independently funded like i'm not like sometimes it's their passion

00:33:10.140 projects yeah they're passion projects they're things that i've been wanting to do for a while

00:33:13.160 but i do think it's there is a little bit of that grass is greener yeah like of like what do i want

00:33:19.020 to do absolutely well and it's like and obviously because you're so stunning and gorgeous you're like 0.96

00:33:23.340 okay i'll lean into the beauty stuff but then i but i'm much more than a pair of tits i'm much more 0.96

00:33:28.860 than a pair of tits perfectly symmetrical brows although they're not sisters right now because i'm i 1.00

00:33:33.960 haven't gotten them done we have a dog it's and we just got a puppy it's really it's really we need to 0.91

00:33:38.060 talk about puppy oh my god what's your puppy can i explain to you pinto pinto we rescued him from

00:33:43.680 puerto rico and he was four months old he's lovely he's really sweet and gentle he's just nervy on a

00:33:51.960 grande like he's the most anxious dog i've ever met in my life let me explain to you what happened

00:33:55.920 this morning he for the first time ever peed outside so he's pee pad trained right now so the

00:34:02.260 difficulty is when a dog is really anxious outside and really nervous they have tunnel vision so we can't

00:34:07.680 really train him mind you we only start to go on walks with him two weeks ago because he's he will

00:34:12.020 shake and freak out nice you know he's sort of gay it has to happen i'm like mary we need to get you 0.99

00:34:16.640 outside this you're not a fucking cat like i'm sorry so then what we did was we have him 0.99

00:34:21.520 doing so then today was the first day and he just he found his body peed so then we had a little 0.97

00:34:26.420 treat party is what it's called our trainer said we he was really excited we got back in

00:34:30.560 he has to poop there's a pad he knows where to go um he has a thing for eating feathers on in our 0.99

00:34:38.260 apartment we have a couch that like emits feather it's like there's 15 geese in this fucking couch 0.99

00:34:42.480 that we bought five years ago so everyone's gonna hate your feather i have a i have a feather couch 0.98

00:34:46.520 too i just got i want to i want to i want to i want to find i don't even want to i want i don't

00:34:51.760 want to burn it down i want to find who made it and i want to show up and i want to just scare 0.67

00:34:56.360 them i don't want to say too much now but i want to scare them so just a little something i just want

00:35:00.740 to give him a little fright so they so then he eats these feathers so mind you if you're not into

00:35:05.780 this just like mute for a second his poop is coming out it's attached to a feather he looks back because

00:35:12.360 he's like why isn't it falling out he jump scares himself starts running around the apartment whipping 0.97

00:35:18.020 shit into our cb2 couch into our restoration hardware table splattered on the wall yelping 0.65

00:35:26.060 i'm screaming my boyfriend's on a work call he thinks something he's texting me like is someone 0.99

00:35:31.940 in the apartment we have rain cameras took a feather and like dipped it in his poop and he's 0.55

00:35:36.420 and just decided to diary across the apartment diary it was dragging a paintbrush so when i say that 0.94

00:35:43.780 the good moments are really good and the bad moments are or so fucking bad you want to die 0.96

00:35:48.780 i get it it's just really really really tough this episode is brought to you by ebay we all have that

00:36:34.260 love right before i came literally right before i came here my same dog who was having issues a

00:36:40.160 couple weeks ago yeah he was he had issues i worked all day in la you foster did you say that you

00:36:46.460 fostered we fostered yeah okay and my my deaf baby uh we fostered him and kept him and he was he's been

00:36:53.320 wonderful he was a nightmare to crate train because our other dog is crate trained so we're like you both

00:36:57.740 have to be great yeah he was a nightmare to crate train for a while but then after all he's perfect now 0.74

00:37:02.300 now he's perfectly crate trained which is beautiful let's be fucking nice true 0.94

00:37:05.440 he sleeps in between my thighs every single time someone asks me about a dog i say train your dog 0.99

00:37:12.560 don't do we we fucked up we fucked up don't yeah they'll be fine and they they like my oldest baby 0.99

00:37:19.100 like he he could stay obviously i'm not leaving him in there for this long but he could be in that 0.99

00:37:23.280 crate for 24 hours yeah yeah pure poop i will say the only good thing is that we when when pinto's in

00:37:29.260 bed at like 9 or 10 p.m he'll hold it until like 5 36 that's nice so it does a little bit of that but 0.99

00:37:34.200 train your fucking dog doesn't matter how much they whine they're fine like we made the anyway sorry 0.99

00:37:39.200 yeah no you're fine so i like i was at work all day and so when i came home there was like new dog 1.00

00:37:44.760 beds and stuff like on the like that my fiance had bought and i was like oh my god are you replacing

00:37:49.480 their their like linens and stuff and then he goes yeah well one of us had an accident and i don't

00:37:56.480 want to say who it was but it was someone who went to the hospital recently because they were

00:38:00.640 all sitting next to each other and i was like what happened so my my man went to the gym and put them

00:38:06.000 in the crates he was only gone for like an hour and they always sleep and we have a little doggy cam

00:38:10.620 that looks at that yeah we have like 15 rings and so they just sleep the whole time and so he said he

00:38:16.420 came back and he didn't look at the camera because there was no movement or anything he said he came

00:38:20.300 back and he took showed me a video and he had he had to poop he had diarrhea it wasn't oh yeah but 0.99

00:38:26.120 he put his ass up against the side of the crate and shot it out like a gun and what's funny is my 0.95

00:38:32.760 other dog had stomach issues for a year before we got to a specialist he was so crate trained he did 1.00

00:38:38.180 the same exact shit when he had to shit once he just stuck his ass on the side shot it out like a 0.99

00:38:42.720 i think they do it on purpose i don't like one time literally when we were gone and we didn't have a 1.00

00:38:48.120 pinto ghost looks into the ring camera and just starts shitting and keeps eye contact i'm like 0.98

00:38:54.440 you fucking loser like i know you're doing and then i don't know if you feel this way when people 0.99

00:39:00.420 who haven't rescued a dog and know it and they're like just take him outside i'm like i'm gonna punch 1.00

00:39:05.520 you in the fucking neck i'm gonna punch you in the neck right now oh let me just take him outside 1.00

00:39:10.420 like it's really i will say it is the most when people say it's the most gratifying experience when 1.00

00:39:15.620 you foster and then you take like it is it's because we fostered him for like two weeks yeah

00:39:19.940 and we knew it was gonna be tough yeah but it is the wins i agree are especially when you're

00:39:25.700 rehabilitating they're really amazing yeah i agree and he's like we don't really i don't share that

00:39:30.520 much with him like i don't really we created an instagram account that michael was supposed to

00:39:35.260 hone in on he's not too text savvy guys he was like how do you reel and i'm like i'm i need to

00:39:41.400 i need to i need to leave i need to leave this apartment so we're not we're not we don't share

00:39:46.240 a lot about him i do on tiktok i sort of like i post like pleas of help for people who've had

00:39:51.380 rescues and i'm like so he won't do this and he won't do this and a lot of people give advice and

00:39:55.500 it's really sweet it's like solicited like i'm like i just i would love to yeah so but you know

00:39:59.980 what it's a journey i know you and i had talked about it when you first got him too i told you get a

00:40:04.240 trainer because that's what i did too i will and the thing is is with the crate training we're moving

00:40:08.540 soon so our goal is to get him to at least enjoy a new environment if it's all new then we can start

00:40:15.300 new that is true yeah that is true and i i had to do that too even with my dog that when we moved

00:40:20.280 homes he was already crate trained yeah yeah he did kind of have to re crate train anyways because like

00:40:25.040 they're getting used to the new environment so like that's good also don't put it in your room i know

00:40:29.980 that's what i tell people all the time yeah that we've heard just put in your living room yeah that's 1.00

00:40:33.160 that's where ours are and they go behind the couch when my dog shot at shit out of his ass like a gun 0.99

00:40:38.080 yeah guess get this didn't get on the couch i was like was it on the couch because i hate the couch 1.00

00:40:42.820 and i want to replace it and he goes no it missed the couch the next thing is you shitting on the 0.99

00:40:48.420 couch yeah now i have to shit out of my ass on the couch so we can get a new restoration hardware 0.99

00:40:53.280 couch this fucking feather couch no literally they are the worst i literally i get poked like i'm like 0.99

00:41:00.660 why am i getting scratched on my own couch no it's really really really bad and i loved what it 0.98

00:41:05.580 looked like and i loved i didn't even get it from where'd you get yours cb2 no i didn't even get it 0.94

00:41:09.760 from there i got mind you i love cb2 yeah i hate this fucking couch i just hate feathers i know i 0.99

00:41:14.680 get that even my my dog well my first dog he was allergic he was having diarrhea peeing out of his 0.99

00:41:21.600 butt for like what felt like a year really it was that bad yeah did you have mine just had giardia

00:41:26.320 twice so they had to go on those meds that make them bite yeah they it's really scary they kept

00:41:31.340 telling me oh it must be giardia i'm like it's not giardia he's been tested for that three times

00:41:36.320 like i kept telling them it's not that it's not that i took him to like three or four different

00:41:39.980 vets then i got so sick of them because there's also the stigma about frenchies which i understand

00:41:44.920 what are you gonna do they're already alive so i have to take them it's just that they're not

00:41:48.280 supposed to be here which is true like they're oh got it got it got it right right health issues

00:41:52.180 which i know got you got you got you and so i felt like every vet i was taking him to forever was

00:41:57.120 like writing all of it off as like oh he's just a frenchie he's just gonna do that i was like that's 0.98

00:42:01.000 just that's not how it works like he's peeing shit yeah i was like there's liquid coming out 1.00

00:42:05.660 of his ass like that's not one time my frenchie took a shit like my first one he took a shit on 1.00

00:42:10.700 the wall it literally i heard it go like yeah yeah out the back like a parachute yeah i was like 1.00

00:42:16.340 someone called a24 produced that film right i saw it like spray on the wall like blood like yeah

00:42:20.940 how long did he have that for like eight or nine months oh my god and then i couldn't take it anymore

00:42:26.100 so i i researched like a frenchie bulldog specialist like someone that only works on

00:42:31.920 those dogs and then i took him there and she looked at him for like 10-15 minutes and she was

00:42:39.320 like i think he's allergic to the food and i was like i had switched his food like three or four

00:42:43.200 times so you were like no it can't be that well i was like i have switched this and this and this

00:42:47.260 and she goes yeah but sometimes frenchies are allergic to protein and they need protein didn't know 0.99

00:42:52.840 that when i tell you both my dogs are on a prescribed kibble it's hydrolyzed protein oh

00:42:59.500 i love that you can't get it so you literally need a prescription from a vet to order it because

00:43:05.360 it's that special ordered like wow you could get a birkin before you yes i have to put it on like

00:43:10.480 an auto refill so that it sends to my house every three weeks because it's that hard to get and

00:43:16.280 they're fine now yeah they're complete i gave him that first day out like with a little wet food 0.97

00:43:20.740 topper hasn't had it since oh god and i was like oh imagine all these other fucking people are 0.99

00:43:25.240 telling me because he wasn't just peeing out of his butt he was also vomiting like he's in the 0.98

00:43:29.080 exorcist oh when i was explaining it to my vet the specialist she goes well what kind is it like 0.70

00:43:34.360 regurgitation where they just kind of spit you're like no it's exorcism it's like vomit right i said

00:43:39.060 you know the movie the exorcist when her head spins around and then it shoots out like black liquid

00:43:43.560 yeah that's what it is what do you like that was me reacting to him doing that and he was like he would

00:43:49.080 sometimes i bought a brand new rug for our room forget that and i was peeing with the door open 0.87

00:43:53.640 because he was on his throw up shit at the time and i heard him start going and i was like i was 0.84

00:43:59.600 like squid squid i was like calling because i couldn't see him and so i finally like finished and 0.98

00:44:03.640 i got up he was laying on the ground got up went on my rug yeah i told you yeah got right off it 0.98

00:44:10.600 crazy crazy so net net don't get a fucking dog if you can't if you don't want your entire life around 0.99

00:44:16.900 and also no like the giardia was i've had giardia mind you it's a river disease oh so oh so it's 0.99

00:44:22.600 hereditary then you and your son completely like i was once at the doctor and they were like this

00:44:27.420 doesn't happen to humans i'm like this makes me feel a lot worse i don't feel like this is a safe

00:44:32.440 space i'm not gonna make me feel better true anyway we've been going through it but everything

00:44:36.180 else is good well let's talk about work what are you doing what are you working on what's new for

00:44:41.820 you um okay so i'm doing a lot of writing i have two very exciting projects that are i would say a

00:44:48.240 little bit in the works one of them is getting produced soon what i can say is that one of them

00:44:53.460 is a little bit focused more in the children's book sort of the world and then the other one

00:45:00.160 um is more of um i love writing affirmations for people i think they're really important and i think

00:45:06.280 that it doesn't have to be as difficult um you're really good at affirmations i think it's really fun

00:45:10.900 you post them a lot so yeah so i i wrote a bunch down that i really loved and they're gonna be

00:45:17.340 in physical format pretty soon oh my god how exciting yeah i'm really excited about that i got chills i'm

00:45:23.260 really like it's actually just this is really cold in here um no i i so i'm really excited about that

00:45:29.280 and i think like for me too i i have been doing i've been leaning more into comedy i'm just like

00:45:35.160 listen i'm like it's just we're funny ass we're funny ass and i think if i asked a lot of my 0.68

00:45:40.040 friends like childhood friends because like what is like you're a comedian i'm like that's 0.50

00:45:43.900 disgusting i'm like no i'm not but i really do think like i think like i'm enjoying the opportunity

00:45:49.300 to try out different types of comedy more i agree i think that is i think you're suited for it i think

00:45:55.040 that yeah so i think i'm gonna try and explore a little bit more into that world and the funniest

00:45:58.980 people have them like have a lot of trauma obviously yes and they're smart as fuck that's why i was

00:46:05.740 like that you have both of those yes look at us i was literally chatting with alok recently we went

00:46:09.920 and got breakfast and they were just like they were like listen like that like lean into your humor

00:46:14.100 i think a lot of people think that like to be like a person of color to be queer non-binary is like

00:46:19.280 this doom and gloom world but i'm like we're funnier than you no we just need to i'm like oh okay like

00:46:23.680 we should just start to show it and i'm like it's just not that serious no never like it's really

00:46:28.260 really and i and i don't think it like takes us back i don't think it like i don't think to

00:46:32.580 self-deprecate and be funny yeah takes us back like i do i don't think so either no i just think

00:46:37.440 it's it's like they the other side has been playing this game for a really long time like 0.94

00:46:42.120 why can't we why can't i be like problematically funny and say shit like right i'm just tired of of 0.87

00:46:47.020 feeling like i need to be policed even by people in my own community for doing things like a lot of

00:46:52.440 people have problems sometimes when like i'll make a satirical video about pronouns yeah and make 0.73

00:46:56.880 it really ridiculous and a characterization of itself i'm like bitch look around we're we're we're 0.99

00:47:02.480 we're cooked like this is not gonna be the end of it like my pronouns joke is not the reason why 0.94

00:47:07.300 i'm like and why are they allowed to joke about it whatever and well and also like it that's one of

00:47:11.840 those things where i feel like you have to factor in good faith like you're literally non-binary so

00:47:16.180 like you can joke about it if you'd like to i'm like there are days that i'm more he him i get it

00:47:21.760 i'm not denying that but i'm also like it's i think like when we bring humor into these moments

00:47:28.340 i think we can also grow ourselves like i think i've become a lot stronger in in leaning into

00:47:35.220 comedy i think people really underestimate how much humor can people say humor disarms other

00:47:39.540 people and i really think it can disarm yourself like i really has taken me far well and i also i

00:47:44.100 talked to a loke about this too when they were on my show too but like like you were saying it's not

00:47:49.040 all doom and gloom it's not oh a loke was saying i want to be able to laugh like why do i always have

00:47:54.180 to be uh prophetic yeah prophetic and like an altruistic like ally an activist like i am all 0.83

00:48:01.380 of those things yeah i'm also funny as hell so there's that too i'm also kind of a slut there's 0.60

00:48:06.480 like a look was killing me i was like it's true though it's like it's the same thing when you talk 0.52

00:48:11.540 about media that focuses on marginalized people yeah it's like it doesn't always have to be trauma 0.92

00:48:17.040 porn no sometimes it could just be a silly rom-com i mean you made a thousand for white people

00:48:21.920 100 throw us in there i look at all these like podcasters and this whole sort of like 0.94

00:48:26.720 community of um i think like white creators who've had a lot of success and great that's awesome good 0.89

00:48:33.760 for them but it's like you know what i mean i'm like they'll say shit that i'm like if i if i don't 0.75

00:48:38.840 even get me started if i said half like i think you'll know this because i always say in even when 0.81

00:48:44.240 you're with like in event spaces i think about this all the time if i behaved the way that some of

00:48:48.900 these white creators and i know and it's a specific number of them that are like in the

00:48:56.180 new york world that i bitch and they'll never be canceled ever they'll get they'll get their rates 1.00

00:49:01.740 will go up are you kidding when they get canceled your rates literally go up like it's very different 0.94

00:49:06.820 yeah our careers are shattered and they're shattered they're sore not only are careers shattered on this 0.99

00:49:12.180 side then your own community is like you're a fucking disgrace i'm like i'm never gonna win i don't 0.99

00:49:17.100 know what to tell you it's very different it's really hard it's true i joke about that with my 0.99

00:49:21.320 friends sometimes too where i'm like if i gave that joke to a white person in this space oh they'd sell

00:49:27.600 out they'd sell out madison square garden 100 in my name 100 all i have to say on camera is do you

00:50:40.920 you miss sandris you and there's men in your community i'm like i i need to be asleep for a

00:50:48.100 week i need one of those i need i need to go to that that special clinic in tribeca where they 0.99

00:50:53.060 oh bitch i i literally i need to go to arkham asylum fucking when i'll pay a premium i'm not going for 1.00

00:51:00.500 an influencer rate i'm not going for a collab i will pay for that yeah i i made a joke with my friend 0.99

00:51:06.820 owen on his podcast about capricorns i was talking about capricorns and i was like oh i feel like

00:51:12.340 capricorns are assholes whatever i made a joke about capricorns which like and then someone 0.94

00:51:16.220 commented on the video and was like you know what right like they're saying it's unbelievable that 0.99

00:51:22.080 you it's all you ever do is talk about much hate them like just going at me and then literally wrote

00:51:28.120 like if you have i know you have trauma with them but if that's the case maybe you should go work on 0.99

00:51:33.820 it in therapy hey bitch relax i what you should have commented me if i was a capricorn you that 1.00

00:51:40.240 you know what's funny is you just added the most capricorn thing you could do and that you know what 0.97

00:51:44.140 i'm at i'm at that place where i'm like that's that's the t that's the response it is i what am i

00:51:49.460 at this point we're cooked i made a joke too i made this joke about i made a joke to my friends

00:51:54.340 about straight girls i'm like well that's how i know you're straight because you can't take a joke 0.94

00:51:57.560 i'm gonna laugh because and i'm and i'm a straight bitch and i'm laughing yeah i made the joke but 0.99

00:52:04.080 i'm like you see you should be able to joke about your own marginalizations that you said yeah i don't 0.95

00:52:10.020 think there's anything against that listen i and i always say the hottest men are the ones who are

00:52:15.200 able to realize and are able to understand the system versus the person i feel like we talked about

00:52:20.860 this in the last podcast it's so different it is true and then you know what if i do say all men i

00:52:25.340 mean all men and that's fine and maybe i did and maybe i fucking did maybe and maybe there's one 0.93

00:52:30.140 day where like you there's some guys who are funny and like you're fine that's fine too and it can

00:52:34.960 change you're just like me because we've talked i know we've talked about this but we've like i'll

00:52:39.740 make white people jokes around white people yeah just to see yeah the best white people love it 0.97

00:52:45.240 yeah i want to see if you care yeah let's see if you're cool or not 100 i'm like y'all are homophobic 0.99

00:52:50.800 24 7 i'm cackling i'm like bitch i turned that into content like you can't take a joke 1.00

00:52:55.500 that's why i i just told caleb this when i recorded with him but i like said on trixie's channel that i

00:53:01.080 make this joke all the time it's a running bit i have in my head where like when i meet someone who

00:53:04.800 doesn't look anything like me like they're not built like me they're not the same age as height

00:53:08.820 whatever race i'll say like well we're about the same build so like where do you shop like that joke

00:53:13.980 makes me giggle so hard in my head because i'm like if i see sydney sweeney i'm gonna say it to her

00:53:17.660 and she's gonna be offended and that makes me laugh oh you know her publicist is gonna be 0.97

00:53:21.080 running into that room people in the comments because someone was like this was the funniest

00:53:24.700 part of the episode like this is the funniest thing that drew said someone was like that's

00:53:28.820 so fucking like why would you want to hurt someone's feelings i literally wrote to them i said what's so 0.95

00:53:33.080 bad about looking like me what's so bad about me wanting to hurt someone's feelings and i even said 0.99

00:53:36.540 to him like that joke makes me laugh on that twofer because it makes you can it literally forces you

00:53:42.180 to confront your internalized biases why would you say why would you think that in front of me live

00:53:47.000 yeah i'm laughing wild because if someone tested me i'd be fine do you do stand up no i've done it

00:53:53.660 a few times i've done a few well i say a few i did one i have performed live but it's not the same as 0.98

00:53:59.100 okay but that's why i i laugh so hard at that joke and then people are like oh that's so fucked up 0.93

00:54:06.100 that's so i was like what's so fucked up about looking like me yeah i i think someone who also does 0.95

00:54:10.320 that really well i think you've had them on your podcast with bob drag queen bob does it bob does it 0.89

00:54:15.060 really well during stand up like i think there's again like if we're not going to be the ones to

00:54:18.900 um use the content and use whatever humiliation whatever negativity people try and throw away and

00:54:26.400 like reverse that right i don't i don't think there's no what is where is the joy like where is

00:54:31.400 the like what like we can all do this together yeah but like a hundred percent and you can take 0.97

00:54:37.100 a joke like a motherfucker which is why i love you so much yeah like i i like them i'm like i'm really 0.97

00:54:41.900 really brutal too i'm like listen i've heard everything under the book like that's true get 0.99

00:54:45.800 creative bitch like make me laugh yeah chances make me laugh i might have heard it already make 1.00

00:54:50.420 me laugh and you might just get a little video shout out i'm really really it really is i when i 0.96

00:54:55.400 was dealing i always deal with awful men on the internet but one time i had a guy like after i got

00:54:59.140 engaged like was like basically saying the only reason that i would have gotten engaged is either

00:55:04.680 he's with me for money or it's like um a shut up ring oh which everyone's like shut up rings don't 0.73

00:55:11.600 look like that yeah clock it yeah uh but the when i made a response about it because i was so because 0.97

00:55:17.140 this dude i have let i let him live the first time he talked shit on me okay so it wasn't worth he's 0.99

00:55:22.700 recurring a little bit yeah when he got too confident came back i was like now i gotta fuck you up and 0.98

00:55:26.660 this is on you yeah it's your fault remember your chance right drew gives people chances i just wanted

00:55:31.580 that on the record at this drew gives people chances at this point okay and then when i made

00:55:36.220 a response i was like there's a whole myriad of things i could say about this but i've already 0.94

00:55:39.840 talked about it like all these stupid excuses you guys make for why i could never be married 0.72

00:55:44.280 whatever which is clearly not the case anymore but i was like one of the things i said i was like 0.98

00:55:48.900 why is it always money that he's with me what if he's with me for my incredible snatch

00:55:53.480 is that not on the table what if it's purely my body what if he's objectifying me what if what if

00:56:00.360 he's over sexualizing me and he only he only sees me as a whole now what and you know what mind you

00:56:04.860 let's brainstorm what like like bring all the it's really wild what if get creative that's why i was

00:56:10.380 like what what if he's using me for my just unbelievably stellar body yeah then what you seen 0.98

00:56:16.200 these tits you look good and then i'm like and then all of a sudden it's like wait wait yeah that's 1.00

00:56:21.340 what i'm saying then it's crosses the line like okay bitch yeah oh my god that's really good though 0.99

00:56:26.480 i really like that i do have some fun facts about you okay yes let's do it what a fun transition 0.77

00:56:31.700 into fun facts very i love a good fun fact me can i debunk the facts yes of course you can we're all

00:56:38.820 about journalistic prowess here obviously here of course okay right here it says that you were the

00:56:44.620 leader of your college a cappella group called notorious

00:56:47.560 high school

00:56:53.180 that's tough what are you an alto tenor soprano um i was a tenor came out as non-binary alto

00:57:03.780 that pipeline really worked for me adam can sing to that yeah i hit a new range of falsetto 0.78

00:57:11.080 okay tea yeah it was work whenever i get asked i'm like i'm an alto bitch i'm in the chorus you 0.98

00:57:16.720 already know that about me yeah i don't want to talk about it i wish i could sing you can sing though

00:57:21.580 i listen i've heard you dabble i can dabble i can dabble i i do think that i've been trying to figure

00:57:27.960 out like how to bring my singing and my music into my content but every time i film a video i want to

00:57:34.220 take my phone i want to shove it so far up my own i want to i want to aggravate my ibs with how much i

00:57:42.620 hate it i can't i can post an ad that's i can post the cringiest ad and i'll be like whatever post

00:57:49.080 me singing i have to no one can see you no no one can i can't so when you do see it just know that

00:57:57.820 it was a good day it took a lot to post it yeah just know i either got dicked down or i was

00:58:02.420 so that's the only way that's so real because i've told you before and i've said this story a

00:58:08.200 million times but when they i got an audition for um animated film and they asked me if i could sing

00:58:14.600 i said no and they said perfect okay do these lines and then also send us a video of you singing

00:58:19.360 acapella for one minute one minute one minute bitch and they said to sing a song like any song 1.00

00:58:24.720 you wanted but one that preferably one that most people would know three six five five 0.97

00:58:29.760 just a minute oh my god you just do the dance you don't even sing 0.64

00:58:34.380 okay sorry okay you were saying uh i did the i couldn't even watch it yeah i when i was trying

00:58:45.140 to sing because i asked my cousin who can sing really well can i watch it do you have it no i

00:58:49.760 don't have it i literally it's so funny because i made my cousin record it and i said don't show

00:58:55.080 it to me just send it to me and all i did was attach it to an email and sent it yeah my mom was

00:59:00.900 like i watched it it wasn't bad and i was like don't lie to me yeah yeah no don't lie to me but

00:59:05.840 you know what there is also something very empowering about knowing your strengths and

00:59:09.340 knowing your weaknesses yeah like i'm so with you i could go and like riff for a minute

00:59:13.700 like on a stage i could like film an ad and not care no but singing there's just something about

00:59:20.280 it but listen and i'm delusional i audition i think i can talk about this now i auditioned for a role on

00:59:24.860 you for the new season which was amazing didn't get the part obviously i watched back like did you see

00:59:32.060 me i watched okay i auditioned for the live action moana and i did not get it either crazy they'll they'll

00:59:37.120 come listen i i watched my own self-tape i was like i'm gonna fucking get this part i'm gonna shoot 0.89

00:59:43.240 new york for three months i saw the person who had the role and i was like oh i'm delusional

00:59:48.120 that's an actor i was like i there's again your strengths in your week like you just know 0.99

00:59:53.680 yeah you're gonna be on season five of you shut the fuck up i'm serious 0.99

00:59:57.560 moron love them though love pen moron yeah i'm like if you have me i'll be the rock i'll be the rug 1.00

01:00:05.040 that pen badgley steps on no shit i literally every time i send a self-tape there's just never any 0.96

01:00:10.500 dignity in it no especially when they go no thank you oh i know gotten a few of those i you know 0.97

01:00:16.420 what's funny is i read for a part on well i'll just say euphoria okay the new season okay the

01:00:23.460 part the role was a podcast host in my slate i literally said i'm actually currently the host

01:00:29.920 of two podcasts so if i don't get this it's really embarrassing and guess what didn't get it

01:00:33.960 i was like you told you said you i did because i've talked to my other actor friends i'm sure

01:00:41.420 you've heard this too about the slates and i've been like can you be funny in those are they looking 0.98

01:00:46.640 real standard and caleb was like i'm always funny in that in mine and i was like okay t he's been

01:00:50.660 casting stuff i'm gonna yeah yeah maybe it was bad advice but honestly caleb honestly though

01:00:55.800 you're so fucking tall yeah and so am i yeah and for some reason they want us to be 0.96

01:01:00.920 5'2 yeah and the other day i was telling my team i was like i think i'm gonna start lying in my 0.96

01:01:05.740 slates about how tall i am no and they were like really did we not talk about this i agree 100

01:01:10.540 oh my god okay let's no i literally i got once i got feedback we decided to go in another direction

01:01:14.660 i was like guys they didn't want a monster on step i was like i was i literally was like no i i look

01:01:19.800 insane it was for like a role in drag mind you i would have worn eight inch heels i was like this is 0.77

01:01:23.860 not fucking godzilla i was like they don't know they went in a different direction yeah they didn't want 0.95

01:01:28.420 no it's insane i genuinely believe this i i agree and after i talked to er fight master i agree even 0.91

01:01:34.080 more because er was telling me yeah they'll cast me as as like a lesbian yeah show and then er goes

01:01:40.520 but then it sometimes feels like they're going okay well you're the boy one so you're you're you're

01:01:45.360 bigger you're the boy when you're bigger because er is really tall yeah but then they said when they

01:01:49.440 were in certain scenes like they'll they'll put their love interest on boxes because they think the

01:01:55.360 height is too tall but with men they love it with anyone that's not a man they're like too tall

01:02:01.420 scary yeah too tall scary scary and i told my team i was like i think i'm gonna start lying about my 0.97

01:02:05.700 height i'm gonna start saying like five six men lie about their height all the time i'm fucking 0.98

01:02:09.560 listen i'm gonna start running down and then literally and my team was like i i mean okay like

01:02:14.260 they're just entertaining me and then i go me just not even considering it's a skill issue i'm like

01:02:19.320 it has to be the height no they're not picking me because i'm too tall 100 they went in a different 0.97

01:02:26.860 direction they just didn't want a tall yeah cute little bitch on set oh no you can't act stallions 1.00

01:02:32.080 on set you can't you did not perform mama the self tape went straight into the self trash and then 0.99

01:02:37.980 the more you know what the more celebrities i meet i'm like who would i be the opposite of a love

01:02:43.420 unless it's the rock and that's my sister yeah i would do it to like my like a multiple

01:02:48.820 personality of myself preferably like a mean one i could do well in that i was like you know what

01:02:54.440 you know what's so funny though is i was i panic sometimes about doing romantic scenes in acting

01:02:59.180 do you ever think about that i do but i i think the opposite you get excited i get really excited

01:03:06.480 but no i mean mind you michael and i don't i i actually said no to certain things that i was like

01:03:10.700 this also just like doesn't work and they want me to like talk in aav and i'm like this is not this is

01:03:15.420 not gen z this is racist so i'm just like yeah this is not right but there was one role in

01:03:20.240 particular that i was like i i can't do that i was like i it's just there's a certain thing i'm like

01:03:26.560 you know because we're so close with our fit my parents would watch michael would watch this like

01:03:29.960 it's just not happening i i'm sorry and i need you to tell me what it is after yeah i will but i i

01:03:35.480 agree it's i was panicking about it just because like oh man just disgust me yeah and i just get so

01:03:41.380 horrified at the thought of having to kiss one and i was like i was i was having this like

01:03:46.140 existential crisis about this problem that i do not have because i have not been cast in anything

01:03:50.760 but i'm like oh god what am i gonna do but it's hours spent of course how am i gonna how is what

01:03:56.000 is my face gonna look like when i go to set the first day i need to make sure that they know that

01:03:59.240 i'm like i'm really excited to be here but none of this is happening yeah none of this is happening

01:04:04.080 pre-planning planning no it's really i get that too but you know what i think that's that's acting

01:04:08.840 i think so too if you could pull it off you'd be a delusional you gotta be delusional till you

01:04:13.440 get it i'll stick to acapella yeah mind yeah you can be the next pitch perfect this next one says

01:04:18.860 you're a third generation gemini i love gemini's gemini's get a bad rap but i love them you know

01:04:27.320 what we kind of do it to ourselves i get it i'm i think i'm more of my virgo rising i do that's

01:04:32.020 my moon's in taurus it's a whole thing michael's a taurus i will say i love tauruses i i my

01:04:38.320 grandpa was june 1st my mom is may 28th i'm june 7th so between all of us it's funny it's not your

01:04:45.360 dad it's your mom oh i know he is he could not be more of a virgo like he's it's really actually

01:04:50.920 painful yes me and your dad uh it says in the summer of 2011 you were an assistant stage manager

01:04:57.420 for a small family theater company and produced four shows with them

01:05:01.200 amanda's not in here but amanda's this is cruel i just read the theater one where they produced

01:05:10.220 the wheelock family theater shout out to listen shout out to the wheelock family theater community

01:05:15.520 theater is very important inclusive casting they cast it they did not when they say they don't see

01:05:22.040 color they really didn't they really didn't see color they i was that was where i had my um

01:05:27.680 my first i will say i was in aladdin i was in aladdin which you know kind of shook me to my

01:05:31.820 core a bit say at least get me jasmine i think i was an elf i don't even think there's an elf in

01:05:36.980 jasmine i mean in aladdin um but it was a really really that is a really crazy fact because then i

01:05:42.360 did a lot of shows with them and i love them i love that i think that's so great you're like in the

01:05:47.580 the show glee that's you you were in acapella yeah i was in the off off broadway version

01:05:54.420 for sure not even off broadway you were one of the college campus tour guides called shield heads

01:06:00.780 is that true high school high school again almost nailed it i was a really good tour guide i bet i

01:06:08.160 sold the shit out of that elite boarding school i really did shield heads i don't know does that 0.59

01:06:15.120 sound violent yeah like you show up in armor yeah like the castle we did have a castle oh we literally 0.94

01:06:20.900 ate in a castle maybe that's why maybe that was why maybe that's why i never yeah i never knew that 0.91

01:06:28.040 no you're right we my high school we in the castle you can drag me for that that's fucking insane 0.93

01:06:32.140 i don't know my immigrant parents were like you're gonna go to an elite boarding school they sent me 0.59

01:06:36.180 to a castle it's really beautiful though anyway made you funny so there you go dedham's a great town

01:06:41.340 shout out to dedham madisachusetts actually no don't i'm like cut that do not i'm kidding i'm kidding

01:06:48.300 uh it says you have a bartending certification from harvard i do you but just always said i'd

01:06:54.740 never make to harvard i have a certificate mama mind you that's crazy framed in my dad's office

01:07:01.600 you're a mixologist yeah i'm a mixologist you do you do be making cute little drinks i do but i did

01:07:07.460 lie before i got it there was this like sugar daddy in new york when i moved here i wanted to just hire me

01:07:12.420 to like do private parties in his penthouse i would get tipped amazingly and then when i started to get

01:07:17.460 like noticed in the bartending scene i had to get my certification okay so i decided why not go to

01:07:21.780 harvard table in the beginning what like it's hard it actually was it was really stressful do you like

01:07:26.320 being a mixologist yeah but if you ask me to make a mojito i'm gonna fucking punch it there are some 0.98

01:07:31.980 drinks that i'd be like we're we're out they're like a vodka i'm like yeah for you bitch sorry it's 1.00

01:07:38.060 violent but like it's really like get a beer and you know me yeah great easy i do love to make a 0.87

01:07:45.080 cosmo i can make a really good cosmo i bet yeah it's but the most important thing is getting um

01:07:49.540 uh cold pressed juice okay you can't really fresh squeeze cranberries yeah cold pressed at whole

01:07:55.680 foods you have a great one okay t look at you uh you can speak four languages this actually did know

01:08:01.560 i can speak four languages yeah english farsi french and spanish yes all of them almost fluently

01:08:07.820 one of my really good friends from high school she farsi was her first language oh period and so

01:08:14.520 then she started speaking obviously her parents never talked to her in english but like i remember

01:08:18.120 one time i spoke to someone who's persian and they were saying like oh it's it's like in my native

01:08:23.060 tongue i was like oh is it farsi and they were like oh my god yeah and they were like nobody ever

01:08:27.740 knows that nobody ever knows that yeah that's great though my i learned french by accident though 0.65

01:08:31.720 like my parents used to talk shit about us in french because we didn't understand it and then

01:08:35.900 when we learned it we were like now what now what because we knew farsi because i know your dad went to 0.87

01:08:41.580 art school in france yeah my parents my mom went to graphic design traditional my dad went to an

01:08:46.260 architectural art school they met and so we have a lot like of ties to france yeah then they moved to

01:08:51.740 the states we learned farsi english and then french and then spanish because i was like why

01:08:57.580 the fuck not i was like making it into those ivy league uh one way or another yeah except for 0.55

01:09:03.880 bartending made it either way that's funny i i speak spanish too i told people before i speak 0.98

01:09:10.020 better spanish than i do someone which is just crazy to think about but that's just because someone's a

01:09:16.120 lot less accessible there's also like words that don't that don't translate well into english yeah 0.55

01:09:22.140 like for example guzambere shit is like when someone does something that's um 0.95

01:09:27.700 you know naughty or whatever you say guzambere shit or like you know you can it translates to my fart to 0.99

01:09:34.120 your mustache literally well you aren't supposed to be doing that so i guess it's literally translated 0.98

01:09:40.860 that's what i'm saying so it's it's the language is very interesting sometimes i prefer except when i'm

01:09:45.120 angry my farsi is fluent yeah it's also like it's almost like every language other than english is

01:09:52.060 so beautiful and poetic and prophetic in the way it describes things like even like someone language

01:09:57.380 they speak in proverbs and prophecies a lot too and they're so beautiful when you don't know i'm like

01:10:03.920 y'all were etching into caves we had empires yeah and mind you farsi there's no gender pronouns there's

01:10:10.100 only they them there's no word for she or he so everybody's they them period that's why i'm like

01:10:15.080 everybody's like oh your parents must have been tough i'm like they just kept speaking i'm like

01:10:19.460 they didn't have to bring the pronoun they just kept saying it in farsi they said okay yeah i know

01:10:24.480 what about the ivy league no literally yeah literally okay priorities and then the last fun fact is you

01:10:32.360 performed in the musical rent at your college in 2014 i did and i was angel how exciting yeah it was

01:10:39.940 really good that was a high that was a highlight of like my performing career okay well tell me

01:10:43.560 again you can't sing it was it was a moment it was a moment i bet i'm you are so talented it makes

01:10:49.960 me sick to my stomach oh my god can we clip that please it's true it's true and i sing your praises

01:10:57.080 all the time but that also reminds me too i recorded with cynthia revo and she's also i know

01:11:02.220 isn't that nuts it comes on a few weeks but i want to tell you she reminds me a lot of you 0.89

01:11:10.680 because she has so many fucking talents it's like insane which which you would think would be obvious 1.00

01:11:18.640 but it's not like the shit she does is like that's that's how i feel talking to you i'm like oh of 0.99

01:11:22.800 course you're gonna do that i'm i'm gonna very i'm gonna very i'm sweating a lot right now because 0.92

01:11:26.900 it's to compare me to put me in that same world no i i i always say there's two i have two prize

01:11:32.120 possessions you can't see it now but when this turns hot my doorman bought this for us in dominican

01:11:36.740 republic it's photos of me and michael so when you put boiled water in it cute i mean this will

01:11:41.240 make sense in a second so one prize possession like if there was a fire in our apartment i would 0.80

01:11:44.740 throw these in my birkin and like fuck the birkins and then a signed poster of cynthia 0.99

01:11:50.660 arrivo really when she was on color purple for her nine month run i think it was nine months or a 0.98

01:11:55.360 year oh yeah when she won her tony i'm very familiar it's one of those things where like

01:11:59.980 to be in the presence of of that level of greatness right is something that is is and i didn't even know

01:12:07.500 you loved her like that no i i just remind me a lot of her and it's so real and whenever when you

01:12:13.440 y'all meet because i know you will if if come hell or high water if i have to do myself i'll make sure

01:12:18.820 yeah but you remind me a lot of her because you have so many fucking talents so it's just like it's 0.64

01:12:23.700 kind of like every day you wake up and you're like what am i gonna master oh my goodness i'm 0.96

01:12:28.340 like listen i've then today i've mastered a little bit of anxiety so it's the world's your oyster just

01:12:33.080 go out and do what you do best but i will hopefully i'm manifesting meeting her oh yeah i'll make sure

01:12:38.660 it happens no need to manifest you told me so i'll i'll put it into the universe and by that i mean

01:12:43.680 that might take some time they're busy they're both busy do you have i love you do you have anything

01:12:51.800 else you want to promote or talk about um i would like to say that no i'm just happy to be here

01:13:02.000 you know what actually shout out to my real estate agent jordan at next step realty great guy he does

01:13:09.020 a lot of really good work and we've worked with him for seven years if you're in new york and you

01:13:12.680 need a great real estate agent hit up next step realty you that's all i fucking love you you're 0.98
