00:00:00.000 you can imagine me in a pool naked in a movie and i'm seducing Jennifer Lopez

00:00:26.220 is a new set nobody freak out i still have the comment section mugs it's kind of like when you

00:00:31.780 change crates for your dog and you put one of their stuffed animals in there so they're not afraid

00:00:35.480 so don't be afraid because we are in new york city and we are filming with a very funny very

00:00:41.440 hilarious very talented new york person himself the one and only zachariah porter

00:00:46.360 we're in the world's largest dog crate this is my dog crate welcome wolf wolf i'm so happy to be here

00:00:55.520 oh my gosh idea i've been texting everybody i know just like bringing it up just like i'm gonna

00:00:59.600 be with drew i'm like you know the drew you know i actually brought you up to um the guy at the

00:01:04.400 bagel shop today his bagel shop i was making small talk okay up the street he was like oh how's your

00:01:10.740 day going i'm like great he's like oh you're at work i was like yeah i'm filming a podcast he's

00:01:14.420 obviously fishing so i'm like obviously he's so he's so nosy he needs to know i know i told him it

00:01:20.220 was you and he was really excited really yeah shout out bagel pub door code one two three four five for

00:01:25.120 the bathroom shouts out bagel pub yeah i'm glad to hear you're a fan thank you for having me

00:01:29.400 seriously oh my gosh i'm so happy to have you i'm excited we finally got to meet up we were supposed

00:01:33.260 to meet in la but thankfully i came to new york and we can make it happen yeah you're on your east

00:01:37.100 coast journey right now right are you loving it yeah oh you don't like east coast no i'm kidding

00:01:42.840 i i don't mind the east coast it's grown on me you give west coast girl energy yeah which is strange

00:01:48.960 because when i first blew up on tiktok i had a lot of people say that they were shocked because 0.96

00:01:52.840 they thought i might be from the east coast and i said that's just because i'm a bitch it's the 0.98

00:01:56.560 attitude that's different it is because i'm mean yeah well i think people on the east coast that's 0.87

00:02:01.260 why i like it here so much everyone just says how they feel and it i agree kind of comes off a little

00:02:04.900 rude sometimes but yeah you know what you're gonna get every time i'm cool with that like a little

00:02:08.960 upfront energy you blend in then right i think what i hate is the cold oh it's freezing over here mama

00:02:15.140 i am the sweatiest person to ever walk the face me too so i need to reset i almost had a fan today

00:02:21.540 on the subway i was like relax just kind of like settle in for a minute yeah the weather here is

00:02:25.740 horrible there's like you guys have like three weeks where it's awesome yeah and then every other

00:02:30.560 it's either too cold or too fucking hot it's like those three glorious weeks though yeah they're

00:02:35.300 really nice i was in a uh i was in a wedding this october in dominican republic oh it was hell on

00:02:40.380 earth for me yeah the moisture in the air but i love a humid heat you don't like oh you don't

00:02:44.840 like heat at all i was in the wedding in khaki pants we're walking down the aisle i'm like why 0.96

00:02:49.840 is my shit wet i said oh my god my my shins are sweating right now you turn around you sweat 0.96

00:02:54.800 through your shirt oh i did some of the girls are oh my god something actually i was okay i i was 0.99

00:02:59.000 only brought a fan because i'm like a sweaty guy so i knew everyone's passing my fan around i ended up 0.96

00:03:02.580 making it through they edited the fuck out of those photos we were damn you said get me in post 0.90

00:03:07.480 yeah they did and he did get me in post and he did he got me i'm happy to hear you're a sweaty 0.97

00:03:12.820 girl so am i yeah and nobody sweats in this industry well yeah i'm on medication for it now

00:03:18.000 seriously i had to be because i get it's the anxiety they're like you need a pill so it's called

00:03:24.040 propanol though that's literally not the right word at all it's for like anxiety inducing so it like

00:03:29.360 it relaxes your heart rate i do it before i go on stage so it like it doesn't stop your anxiety but

00:03:34.660 like the physical manifestations of anxiety like heart racing sweatiness it kind of sets you is

00:03:39.940 that why you sweat well when you're nervous i think it makes it worse oh that's i'm not nervous

00:03:44.140 today though clearly dry as a bone as you can see i sweat i feel like i sweat just because i'm a big 0.88

00:03:51.540 bitch like i just i'm a i carry a wide load me too i'm carrying a heavy load i mean i was actually 0.99

00:03:57.820 skinny so when when tiktok was going down i was downloading all my videos and i'm like damn i was 0.98

00:04:03.500 looking really good in 2021 i gotta i gotta flip it back real quick jeez i got in a relationship

00:04:09.000 that's what happened i think you look fantastic well thank you yeah i think you look fantastic

00:04:12.800 speaking of tiktok though yeah i do want to talk about your rise on tiktok well first when you first

00:04:18.240 joined what was your goal was it just to do silly stuff was it to be a voyeur i love to ask i was low

00:04:24.480 key on tiktok for so long before the pandemic really nobody was on it i was on when it was musically

00:04:30.640 well it was right when tiktok switched over it was 2019 i got you up throat and i downloaded it

00:04:35.500 so the whole year of 2019 i was making videos because nobody knew about it and it was like my

00:04:39.340 little outlet tea because i went to school for marketing hated it i was always getting fired like

00:04:44.020 fired left and right for my attitude and then i quit a job um and i was just working like restaurants i

00:04:50.840 love restaurant work but i needed like another outlet and then like customer service yeah yeah t i love

00:04:56.780 customer service but you're getting fired for attitude and marketing well i i like when you're

00:05:00.340 a server you're your own boss i don't want to work today give up my shift i'm sick i want to do a

00:05:04.420 double i'm gonna make 400 that's a really interesting way of looking at serving and yeah and also like

00:05:09.620 you're tipped on your personality like as long as you're organized and you are like funny you're being

00:05:14.900 paid that way but when i worked for like a non-profit i'm like doing like mule work like awful awful

00:05:21.000 work i love how you're you're working a set while you're serving you're like it's really about

00:05:25.040 personality and it's about attentiveness sure but mostly jokes i'm exactly i'm testing material

00:05:31.760 while you're serving and then that inspired so much of my content it's just like working with

00:05:35.660 these people but uh yeah so when covid happened i already had like 200 000 followers okay too so it

00:05:41.420 kind of just like skyrocketed me love and uh i've been doing content now like i think i'm in like year

00:05:46.460 seven it's kind of gross take a break you know i didn't download tiktok until i think 2020 is when

00:05:54.560 i downloaded it because everybody was on it at that time the pandemic had started everyone was

00:05:58.660 joining rapidly i just remembered recently though the reason why i initially had tiktok

00:06:05.160 was because i used to have musically uh because my college friends and i used to like to find people

00:06:11.480 from high school who were making musically we just thought it was fun so i would go and look

00:06:15.640 and then i never really used it and then i saw you know how sometimes they'll say like oh people

00:06:19.940 in your contacts are on here or whatever i saw one of my cousins was on there so i went and i

00:06:25.180 creeped on her and she was doing bad shit on there i pulled on her was she younger or older she's 1.00

00:06:31.020 younger than me oh she's like she's like i was such a narc i was such a fucking narc but that's 0.99

00:06:35.160 because she's like a baby to me she's just my brother yeah my brother is like nine years younger 0.97

00:06:40.100 than me so i was like oh i'm telling your dad no i get it my my niece is a freshman right now

00:06:45.620 and some of the stuff that she even wears i'm like oh my god like they're just they grow up so

00:06:50.320 fast time really flies but not us we age backwards no yeah frozen in time here we come we were just

00:06:56.880 talking about how we're both 95 babies yeah i'm 30 next week how are you feeling i have never been

00:07:02.540 more excited in my life me too i was never a 20 year old me either i remember going to the bar when i

00:07:08.940 was 24 years old and giving my id and he said no you would only card if you look under 30 i said oh

00:07:13.500 actually i'm going to cry in the car you said that's really fucking mean that's i was like i 0.94

00:07:17.220 had this like weird like frosted tip moment i was growing up my blonde so there was a lot of identity 0.65

00:07:20.980 crisis going on at that moment you said part of that might have been on me but still the lighting

00:07:25.060 the lighting was it was harsh in a flashlight or something um no but i think uh 30 i'm excited for

00:07:31.080 it me too i think it's gonna be i i know who i am now same i've and i i feel like i would rather

00:07:36.920 just be 30 than be like late 20s it's embarrassing 29 yeah i'm 29 it's embarrassing yeah i'm like

00:07:43.760 it feels like i'm like hanging on twice i could i can't wait to be 30 i think it's way better well

00:07:50.800 then it resets because now well now i'm 30 i'm not 39 right yeah now i'm 30 and i'm like i'm young

00:07:55.820 in my 30s that's how i'm looking at it too yeah i'm no i'm super i'm super excited i feel like we're

00:08:01.860 a lot alike in that like mentally old i've been mentally old forever yeah i don't even identify

00:08:07.400 with some of this the news with some of the new stuff it's really got me for a loop um no and like

00:08:13.840 my audience everyone that watches me is pretty much in their 30s and 40s same i grew and the same

00:08:18.600 thing i was working in restaurants i was like going to the bar with like 40 year old women when i was 21 1.00

00:08:23.280 and i was like oh this is my sister here i love this girl that's my sister oh so i think i just am

00:08:30.320 ready for that kind of next chapter i love that my boyfriend he's 31 okay he's been he's been

00:08:35.280 marinating it for a while i know my fiance's 30 he turned 30 last year so he's gonna be 31 this year

00:08:40.860 okay yeah so he's i think he was excited too i'm excited to be 30 i feel like and also too i think

00:08:46.640 about how like when you were 20 21 oh the world you're in the middle of a twister everything is

00:08:53.820 awful i think 23 was so harsh for me because i was a year out of college like literally had no idea

00:08:59.780 what i was doing and the self-doubt and like the negativity on yourself right at this point i'm

00:09:04.840 like i know what i'm doing and you have no money no yeah no sense of like direction really yeah i

00:09:10.400 know where um my brother-in-law my my fiance's younger brother i think he's 24 gonna be 25 um but

00:09:17.860 i remember a couple years ago he like called us and he was asking us for like tips on how to make

00:09:22.520 something and we're like what are you making and he was like oh i'm going to a party and it's a potluck

00:09:27.260 kind of like what 23 year old is going to a potluck party i know if you're not just in a potluck i'm

00:09:33.000 wearing one handle of alcohol when i'm 23 you know what i'm saying a wholesome friend girl i know 0.96

00:09:37.460 i was like what are y'all doing you're making dishes and sharing them that's what you do in

00:09:42.440 your 30s he's like make sure i get that casserole back it's like he's like we're bored party you know

00:09:46.960 girls have to do charcuterie board parties so that one time my my me and my siblings had a party like 1.00

00:09:53.220 that and i was the youngest so like kind of like him in that moment and uh i brought this like uh

00:09:58.840 asian noodle dish okay it's like these like brown noodles yeah it looked it didn't look great and i

00:10:04.720 was like that age and i didn't want to lose a plate so i put it on a paper plate nice and i bring it to

00:10:10.240 the party and i was last to get my food when i got there no one had grabbed my noodles at all so

00:10:16.660 we're like playing games after and i was like i want to go come over it because i slaved over these

00:10:21.660 sesame noodles these noodles with me by the way leave the plates paper anyways i'm like

00:10:25.660 oh no yeah so hopefully his dish was better than that i hope so too you remember what it was

00:10:31.640 he i think he was asking us how to make spam musubis which is like rice seaweed spam and then

00:10:38.860 like show you oh the protein and um he was asking us if he makes it in like a bake he was like asking

00:10:45.180 for tips on how to make it and that's what we were telling him it's a really pretty hard dish to make

00:10:49.540 yeah he was trying to flex on it real quick right right and he's white so that's even more confusing

00:10:53.340 yeah well thank you please yeah he's like i need i told him i could do it and i said

00:10:58.580 well anyways back to your tiktok career i would love to know when you felt like it really took off

00:11:04.900 for you like where you're kind of like oh shit like people are really finding me and think i'm 0.73

00:11:09.100 funny and entertaining i think that summer 2020 i was like still working at the restaurant 0.95

00:11:13.320 and i was like giving away shifts because i was like just trying to like throw everything at

00:11:17.540 it and then i made my own merch and i i ordered it myself i i ordered like a i found a screen

00:11:22.600 printer i had i 800 shirts sent to my house and i sold them in like 14 hours and then for the next

00:11:30.040 week i packed every single t-shirt and i was like oh i'm here i'm hustling this is gonna work and then

00:11:36.240 i quit the next day at my job um because i just sold 800 t-shirts i was like i'm floating for a minute

00:11:40.940 and uh my boss was like oh like are you sure that this might be like a flash in the pan

00:11:45.260 she did that to me and i was like oh no i'm gonna bet on myself right now and she's coming to my show 1.00

00:11:50.880 next month you're thankfully the flash is still there yeah no yeah so i think in that moment i

00:11:55.960 was like okay like yeah that's the whole thing i feel like anyone who wants to do this there's like

00:11:59.300 room for everybody i agree you just gotta like want it i say the same thing and i'm also like

00:12:04.620 i'm of the same mindset where i feel like if you are truly pure intention and like why you want to

00:12:12.980 do it like you want to entertain i think like it will work out for you if you stay the course

00:12:17.900 now that we're so old and whiz and we have so much wisdom it comes with age yeah you have something

00:12:23.780 something for them to look forward to um i feel like we know too that like when you do it for the 0.91

00:12:29.460 wrong reasons like when you're doing it purely to like get free shit or get invited to things 0.51

00:12:34.340 yeah i think sometimes the universe withholds it from you yeah like it's never going to give it to

00:12:38.680 you because you want it for the wrong reasons yes and also with everything that you go through to do

00:12:43.600 this like full time i wouldn't say it's worth like an invite to a premiere it really isn't in my

00:12:49.560 opinion no like not a singular one also i hate stuff like that y'all want to do that it's not that fun

00:12:55.900 sometimes you guys it's really not no plus one good luck yeah like a friend i know my team i remember

00:13:02.820 like last year my team was like how do we feel about trying to go to things by ourselves this

00:13:06.680 time this year and i'm like vicious because sometimes it could be a really cool opportunity

00:13:12.900 but if they give me no plus one i'll probably not go i know because i was like i know i need at least

00:13:16.940 one i always need it or at least like give me the inviolators do i know anybody yeah yeah so

00:13:21.220 sometimes my team will ask that too but like i've only done it a few times granted those few times it

00:13:26.200 did work out pretty well so maybe they're on to something i know me too i'm like not be going home with

00:13:30.420 the uber and i'm like hey that was fun actually you've had a great night yeah but you said like

00:13:34.760 it's like you have to get into it for like the love of for me it's a love of entertaining right

00:13:38.520 i just love making people laugh have you loved attention forever oh my god me too i could write a

00:13:43.240 book and i did period period oh how much i needed attention it's good yeah it's i'm unapologetic about

00:13:52.560 it like i like me too like that's what makes me happy and i think in turn we've made a lot of

00:13:57.080 people happy hopefully yeah yeah well clearly it worked out and clearly it's it's true for you

00:14:01.340 did you did you want to do like acting or anything when you were younger yeah i thought that was the

00:14:05.520 that was felt like it was the only way to be famous or do something was like i didn't even know what a

00:14:09.680 comedian was i thought we just had to be actors me too and then i wanted to be ryan seacrest

00:14:13.900 tea yeah and then i was like yeah that's kind of the the way and then uh i went to i had um applied

00:14:20.140 to a couple colleges for like more like media focused stuff to be like a newscaster and it just

00:14:25.460 didn't work out and i let the dream go but like in high school i was always a class clown like love

00:14:30.580 did you have like a like a mister in your high school like the oh we had mr dartmouth in my

00:14:35.460 high school it's like the male beauty like oh cute yeah we had a mr crona yeah yeah so i did that

00:14:41.920 i won that some pageant yeah i did and i thought because i was like the first time i felt like i was

00:14:47.300 like oh but first i'm ever on a stage yeah i like got like that kind of reaction for making people

00:14:52.240 laugh and i was like oh i'm gonna put this feeling away so when i started doing tiktok i remembered

00:14:56.260 like i can do this right i love this i love that yeah yeah we had a mr corona pageant at my i went to

00:15:04.240 corona high school so like they had one and it was like a full like you had to do like a walk you had

00:15:09.700 to have like an evening where you had to have a talent yeah yeah i remember we went one year me and

00:15:14.980 my girlfriends went just for fun it was a blast it was getting to watch men uh dance for attention i love

00:15:20.480 that yeah that's what we were all doing yeah it was like me and all the jocks i was like the one

00:15:23.820 gay boy in the high school and then really in all jocks mine was the opposite all gay oh no it's like 1.00

00:15:29.260 like not one jock of life it's like what the guys do it's like because it's real bro it's real funny

00:15:34.680 like so it's like homecoming king it kind of is that's like what they did so like um my talent was

00:15:40.180 yeah you remember like a thrift shop macklemore it was that i danced that that was a moment but in 2013

00:15:46.500 oh yeah choreographed full choreographed i sang and i danced does anyone remember this the song

00:15:52.380 new shoes by paolo nutini uh i'll put some new yes yes you sang that yeah are you a good singer no

00:16:02.240 i'm not a bad singer i kind of hit that middle for fun yeah oh i sing for the love of the game

00:16:08.080 for the love of the game you know what's so funny the guy who won when i went um i remember he sang

00:16:14.400 uh he sang that song that hercules sings i can go the distance yeah i can go this and that's what

00:16:20.220 it is yeah he sang that and i i was so moved i was like wow was he gay yes he went the distance yes

00:16:25.000 of course yeah they're doing a live action did you see that i did see that the guy who's playing

00:16:28.800 hercules is who is it i couldn't tell you name i don't know a name i could pick him up from a chest 0.94

00:16:37.300 like a chest photo because his pecs are like yeah if i saw tits i could identify him immediately 0.66

00:16:42.440 immediately you know i i'm so interested i can't i can't sing at all you can sing i'm jealous 0.83

00:16:49.340 i always say i'm not tone deaf but i can't sing because i feel like for me i guess in my head i'm

00:16:56.140 always like well i can't sing like ariana grande so clearly i can't sing there's got to be a middle

00:16:59.760 i know but that's what i think i think i think in extremes like that because i'm like i think when 0.97

00:17:05.400 god was making me he was like that bitch is funny and that's it send her down yeah she gets nothing 1.00

00:17:09.940 else i'm do you ever think do you ever notice that a lot of like really funny people online are 0.97

00:17:13.720 also like really talented like britney is such a yes but there's a bunch of people i'm pissed off i

00:17:19.020 know that's why i said oh every everybody got funny and singing except me yeah i love you though okay

00:17:25.320 yeah but i'm gonna just just start saying that proud like you can sing because the people who can't

00:17:29.880 sing they really can't sing and that's like or the people who can't like clap or like dance a little

00:17:36.460 bit like right find the rhythm right right right you know what i've said too i'm like i was making

00:17:42.880 this joke to my sister you know how sometimes tiktokers they want you to know they can sing 1.00

00:17:47.120 but that's not what they're known for and this is no you know shade that's just not what they're

00:17:51.160 known for and then they'll post like a 15 second clip of them doing a riff or something and then

00:17:56.300 they'll be like i don't know draft uh you know what i'm saying and then people will be like oh my god 0.90

00:18:00.840 you can sing and then after that they'll start like posting shit like they can sing and i'm like 0.82

00:18:06.600 am i a hater probably but if i found out i could sing watch me do it too but like whatever happened 0.93

00:18:11.600 to like being funny is enough i think the gateway is a joke i have to be i have to be a swiss army

00:18:16.200 knife now well now it's like you're so funny but now you want to pivot to music relax like you can't 0.99

00:18:21.560 do it all like you're being selfish fuck you guys i'm pissed off that's why i think i'm gonna lean i'm 0.99

00:18:26.680 leaning towards acting this year that's my my goal this year okay wait are you let's talk about it i 0.99

00:18:33.100 would love to so i just so my agency they've been like they've been having a couple scripts but it's

00:18:38.520 never like a role that makes sense for me i don't even know if i can speak about this and i don't

00:18:42.280 care because i'm not gonna get it i got an audition for a jennifer lopez netflix movie oh but the role

00:18:49.780 the role they just asked me to read for two parts one was like this like kind of goofy office guy

00:18:55.300 whatever whatever he's like funny i was like i can read this straight damn it but i'll try okay

00:18:59.820 next guy not him being like the seducer of the office in one scene he's like in a pool and he's

00:19:06.000 trying to get the main character which i'm assuming is jennifer lopez to get in the pool and i'm supposed 0.98

00:19:09.720 to be naked and i literally called them i was like guys i and they'll always be like it's for

00:19:13.980 experience like you just gotta keep trying and i'm like this is a waste of my time like can you imagine

00:19:18.720 me in a pool naked in a movie and i'm seducing jennifer lopez it's just like not so like that's

00:19:26.540 where my acting's at right now i'm reading there if anything if i were you i would take that as a

00:19:33.360 comp the highest of compliments they think your body's tea you're oh so i'm nothing but a piece 0.97

00:19:37.980 of meat to you guys you guys are just gonna slut me out like that yeah honestly if i my i wish my body 0.99

00:19:43.480 was like that i think it's let me out all day i actually think i need to it sounds like they're 0.99

00:19:46.300 trying to zachariah all those roles i'm getting are like they always have some sort of really

00:19:50.500 chiseled physical description i'm looking for like where's quirky gay best friend like i'm looking

00:19:55.540 for like i i appreciate it uh you know what's funny is mine is the opposite um some of the the the

00:20:03.680 like character descriptions i've been sent um like one of them they asked me to do voice work for like a

00:20:10.420 cartoon wait that's so cool which i think is fun well and that was and they the description

00:20:16.280 was um a two-headed bird that's old and evil i said oh no for sure that looks like me

00:20:26.600 the last one i read for it said like the the her personality description i felt kind of matched me

00:20:34.200 like she's neurotic i know it all a goody two shoes whatever um but then the the like physical 1.00

00:20:40.240 description of her it said late 30s to 40s oh oh okay well hopefully that's just like a 1.00

00:20:47.060 a suggestion not why you sent it to me doesn't matter i didn't get it but well you never know

00:20:53.140 either way it's okay but i will say i'm curious have you done any like live reads or anything no i've

00:20:58.380 only done self-tapes have you okay yeah i've done i've done both i've done self-tapes mostly and then

00:21:02.620 i did one live read but was that it was it was on zoom so like you know it's fine but i felt very

00:21:10.740 strange because i felt like at one point they asked me to read like three or four scenes and then i felt

00:21:15.720 like at one point they were like can you try doing it a little more urban and i go okay like like like

00:21:24.380 like confrontational and they're like no more like sassy and i was like you guys want to call

00:21:32.320 me a slur and you can't that's what you guys want to do don't you no yeah and i and it's funny because

00:21:38.940 after after that read i knew i didn't get it i could just sense it but like also those things were

00:21:43.700 making me uncomfortable yeah and i remember i called caleb and i asked him i was like is this

00:21:47.940 like common and like reads like where they ask you to kind of lean into stereotypes and he was like

00:21:51.940 oh yeah yeah absolutely i was like really because yeah it's like the name of the game it's just part

00:21:56.960 of it and i was like he's like doesn't make it any less awful but i was like really thrown off by that

00:22:01.760 i don't think i was gonna like not encounter anything like that i just thought it was so

00:22:05.740 glaringly obvious that i was like yeah not even subtle either the way yeah and then i felt like i

00:22:09.900 didn't finish very strong because i was so like thrown off by those comments oh god she asked me at

00:22:14.540 least three times in different different descriptors each time it's getting closer and closer each time

00:22:20.280 no one's asking uh me to read again but more gay they're having you read for henry cavill's 0.98

00:22:25.700 apparently want you to be the witcher oh my god the huntsman i'm just like running in i'm like

00:22:31.680 jesus that's what i think when i look at you yeah i'm gonna write my own stuff that's what i'm gonna do

00:22:36.760 you should yeah you should write my own roles sometimes i think that's the only way to get

00:22:40.440 through it to be honest yeah yeah what about acting classes have you taken any i would i need to take

00:22:45.020 some and i'm i'm scared when i moved here i did uh um improv at ucb it's like like the that's like

00:22:51.020 the classic new york thing to do it's like oh i'm gonna say it's such a it's like oh god write a

00:22:55.980 passage it is it was comedians in new york i loved it um it was really competitive which i thought was

00:23:02.000 interesting i did like an intensive two week i was like let me just get it done with so i went like

00:23:04.980 four days a week um people flew in from it really like florida and like the midwest to like do this

00:23:11.460 class so oh have you ever done an improv class no so like you don't get called on you have to step

00:23:17.200 up to like do it like we need four people and people like in my class were like chomping at the

00:23:22.980 bit to be in every scene oh so you just like run up and just join yeah yeah so you just have to look

00:23:28.960 for your windows yeah until the guy comes up the teacher's like he's like guys the same people are

00:23:33.140 coming up a lot the same people and i'm seeing a couple of you looks at me i'm like

00:23:36.900 having her for you all day i'm like i need you to be more aggressive and i'm not there i'm there

00:23:41.980 to learn i'm not there to like get cast in something like this isn't my big break right 0.96

00:23:46.120 now i think the same i think the same thing about shit like that i just so i'm here to learn develop 0.71

00:23:50.680 the skill and i will say i learned so much in that and i think i've become a better stage performer 0.91

00:23:55.600 because that's good but it's a really intense and then i tried taking a stand-up class and i quit

00:24:00.520 after three days because everyone in the class didn't laugh at any of my jokes but i would laugh at

00:24:04.220 everybody's and i'm like oh this is a class of haters oh so you guys are jealous of me they were

00:24:10.480 like and i would like throw a laugh when i knew there was a laugh coming but like you just throw 0.95

00:24:14.740 me a bone no one would ever laugh at my stuff damn and i was like room you guys don't know what 0.90

00:24:20.320 you're talking about yeah so i was like i don't need to go here and feel the shittier about myself 0.97

00:24:24.180 so i'm gonna leave honestly well at that point i feel like you could just jump in the deep end

00:24:29.800 like at that point you could just start doing well i did sets everywhere i did i'm saying if

00:24:34.080 that's why would you pay for the class when you could go out in the real world and just experience

00:24:38.140 that if you need to a hundred percent how is that because phil my manager who's here he wants me to do

00:24:43.540 more stand-up but i am a little nervy about it oh i love it i was also like so nervous i didn't start

00:24:49.040 until last year yeah and i love it now i've only done one five that's it that's great that's all i've

00:24:54.640 five is a five is great because i feel like after the five you're there do you know i mean like my

00:24:58.540 show's an hour 10 and like you just keep but you just keep going yeah you know i'm curious how do

00:25:03.260 you how do you like memorize do you just like is it like the ends of your jokes lead into your new ones

00:25:08.640 or like it's not as hard as you think because you wrote it that's you know what i mean that's what

00:25:12.640 caleb told me so i break my show up into like they're like five 15 minute sections and i do stand up

00:25:18.460 and then i leave in a video plays of me doing some crazy thing and i come out as characters

00:25:22.440 and then i leave so i do like all my bits and then i do stand up in between everything

00:25:26.340 but it's really just like chunking it all together and it's just it really is there's nothing compares

00:25:32.380 you've done touring though yes i've done live performance that's the same thing yeah that's

00:25:37.040 what he he's told me that too i'm like don't give him any ideas he's been pressuring me i'm kidding

00:25:41.040 i think the big thing is though is if that's something you want to do like start saving the ideas

00:25:45.420 because like i'm sure funnier things are gonna keep happening but you need to fill that like hour

00:25:49.820 yeah because the the live performance i have done i have been with my sister we've toured like

00:25:54.760 two idiot girls the podcast yeah and so it's all improv so what we do at those shows is we like pass 0.86

00:26:01.100 out prompts which is what we do for the pod and then uh they submit them and then backstage we'll pick 0.97

00:26:06.300 like 10 of them and then we'll go out on stage and then we'll just go through them and then we

00:26:10.240 improv and like talk to the audience and kind of just make jokes like on the fly

00:26:13.840 yeah but most people are just doing crowd work now like so much yeah which i like dabble in but

00:26:19.660 it's not my strong suit yeah especially when the thing is with like live shows and you already know

00:26:24.380 this it's like you have to expect people to like you have to be able to pivot with them yeah like

00:26:29.360 sometimes people get really drunk at my shows oh my god same that happened to us a few times but

00:26:33.620 they're not was it a bad heckle or was it like a nice heckle they're like they're like love heckles but 0.98

00:26:37.080 it's it's irritating regardless yeah it's hard especially if your shit's timed because you're like 0.98

00:26:41.940 hey hey hey hey hey let me get to my next section okay you know what's funny is on um 0.98

00:26:48.260 on tour the first time i think the first time we had an issue with people getting too drunk it was

00:26:53.600 always like a friday or saturday show um obviously because they're like ready for the weekend they

00:26:58.020 want to get uh drunk whatever um my sister and i were performing and obviously we're talking to the

00:27:04.500 audience too but we're very like i'm very quick about that like audience participation lasts for a very

00:27:09.580 specific amount of time and then i have to cut you off if you're like you know sometimes they get a

00:27:12.940 little too invested in being part of it yeah it's fine which is fine but you got to know how to like

00:27:17.840 ear them off that path so while we're talking there's like there's two huge bars in the room

00:27:23.420 too so there's like people like scraping ice and it's like kind of loud but it you can still hear us

00:27:27.940 it's fine and the people start getting drunk and they start talking while i'm talking and then they

00:27:32.320 kept cutting my sister off too while she's talking and we're like it's just too much going on

00:27:36.620 so at one point i was like i stopped someone in the audience i was like i'm so sorry can you pause 0.84

00:27:40.700 who the fuck is talking and i like said it really loud like like we're in a classroom we're not we're 0.97

00:27:45.920 in a venue everybody's supposed to be having fun who the fuck is talking right now i was like who 1.00

00:27:49.260 the fuck is i said can you do me a favor can you shut the fuck up while we continue the show is that 1.00

00:27:52.900 cool because they were being rude for like 40 minutes everyone clap yeah and everyone was like 1.00

00:27:56.980 well and everyone looks and they're like and now they're being narcs like everybody in the audience is

00:28:01.160 being an arc right and so i'm trying not to like think too much about it but i will say did it stop the

00:28:06.240 talking yes did it kill the room a little bit i had to like win them back eventually yeah like i was

00:28:12.400 like don't be afraid i'm sorry i i went too i went too hard i'm sorry i went too hard and then the next

00:28:18.540 night happened again in a different city um still in all in florida mind you uh and the next night

00:28:25.380 happened again this time i was like okay i'm gonna say something but i'm gonna be nicer and i was like

00:28:30.200 can you pause real quick queen let's go ahead and stop talking queen so everybody can participate

00:28:35.320 does that sound good okay thank you thank you yeah learn it and then after that it was better

00:28:41.480 but the first night i mean i killed that room fast nobody wanted to laugh anymore because

00:28:46.420 she's gonna hit me take a shoe off on me i take that that's on me but it's annoying it really is

00:28:54.520 i've never had one negative but i've had like drunk people just get like loud and like want to be a

00:28:59.040 little too involved what did you have to do i honestly just don't i like like tuning out like the

00:29:03.740 staff usually knows to like tap people or whatever at the venues but detroit was the craziest show i

00:29:09.040 ever had really everyone was just like really like spirited it felt like people were on drugs

00:29:14.200 spirited in like a kind of scary way but still nice like it's like okay little wizardry

00:29:21.440 like it wasn't just drunk because people were like floating a little bit yeah it was like just so

00:29:26.380 crazy energy but it was such a memorable show but i i'm so paranoid one day that someone's gonna like

00:29:32.000 be like he sucks like because oh like a bad hack because i'll just leave 0.94

00:29:35.840 i'm out my time thank you oh you hate it i'm done i'll take it somewhere i don't gonna win you over 0.95

00:29:44.060 i know i'd love to know how it was when you first started doing stand-up like how was that experience

00:29:47.700 as far as like kind of just cold plunging cold plunging completely i did i did i opened for my friend

00:29:52.260 for a 10 minute show and then i had like a show the next week for like 150 people at city winery

00:29:56.520 it just did it and now it's like growing i think it's easier for someone like me and for you when

00:30:02.960 our audience already like loves us yeah yeah i think it's way harder and more respectful like

00:30:07.940 respectable to do it like uh when people are like just testing your material and you have no like

00:30:12.140 totally it's like yeah like no uh loyalty yeah or allegiance really people are coming because they

00:30:17.140 already know me they're like me so it's not really hard to win them over and that yeah that's too

00:30:20.940 so it makes it more comfortable for me and like the shows are great because everyone

00:30:24.720 i don't know like they listen to our podcast they like they're all kind of like friends already

00:30:29.440 yeah cool so yeah um but yeah that's tea because i i remember when i did the one five i've done i

00:30:37.120 opened for caleb at the largo with chris fleming so like i did five chris fleming did i think 15 20

00:30:43.960 and then caleb obviously did like a full hour something but i was so nervous i've never been more

00:30:49.180 nervous in my life i don't ever get nervous for work shit i never get nervous to host or do anything 0.89

00:30:53.740 but for that i like was losing sleep over it i was so nervous and i was telling caleb it's literally 0.97

00:30:58.880 because i i'm writing all the shit myself and if they don't laugh i'm gonna be pissed i'm gonna be 0.92

00:31:04.000 fucking mad and i said it's all right i brought a gun so if no one laughs i got a backup plan the glock's 0.98

00:31:08.920 out yeah is that funny now you want to start laughing go ahead let me know when you're ready to start 0.98

00:31:15.220 lay it up everybody and i remember he asked me if i wanted to promote it with me on the flyer and

00:31:22.520 stuff and i was like honestly no because i want to try it like for real because i knew that if i

00:31:27.880 promoted it my own fans would go which i would love but they'll laugh at me regardless yeah because

00:31:33.340 they love me and they care about me which i appreciate and i i genuinely think they're being

00:31:37.760 honest about laughing but i wanted it to be someone else's audience so i could kind of see

00:31:41.800 if i'm good and we're not it did pretty well yeah i think no complaints as far as i know nobody knew

00:31:47.600 you were going to be there no yeah i know when i came out they were screaming really loud and i was

00:31:52.680 like more cheers than caleb i appreciate that thank you guys his show his closing show paid to take the

00:31:59.140 thunder but it was it was really fun though i had a lot of fun doing it yeah and i think you're so me

00:32:04.280 i love making people laugh that's like my favorite thing to do yeah and i don't know i think you feed

00:32:08.260 off the energy of a room so well you know and then yeah we'll talk about the tours and posting pictures

00:32:12.780 and like the energy of it all is just really exciting i'm gonna do 10 more this month and

00:32:18.220 then i'm gonna take a little bit of a break come back in the fall so tell me about the podcast how's

00:32:23.340 that going good it's called camp counselors podcast yeah my boyfriend jonathan we're on year three love

00:32:29.260 it's so how's it working with a spouse i love it but it does not work for everybody yeah he's my best

00:32:35.020 friend i love that we do everything together so and i feel like our lives are so intertwined where um

00:32:40.940 like it's just easier to keep him on the same page as me at all times like he wanted to come today he

00:32:44.940 had to do other stuff but like uh working with him is great he does like the most of the labor for the

00:32:50.280 show like yeah and everything which is good it is good you're all that's good for me you want me

00:32:55.880 you want me to edit it because i'm like shit he's actually really talented at that stuff but um i love 0.75

00:33:01.320 working with him but everyone's always like oh that must suck i'm like it's hard i'm like i like him 0.81

00:33:06.140 that's why i didn't say that that's why i was like i'm curious how it works it obviously works

00:33:11.900 because you're doing it multiple years in a row do people hate their spouses i think yeah sometimes

00:33:16.500 i'm like why is that not working i think the same thing because i i do everything with my fiancee too

00:33:21.160 because i you know like he works with me now and he does his own business too so like we like travel

00:33:27.180 together i take him everywhere like they're always like oh like you guys don't you you don't like

00:33:31.280 spending time apart i'm like not really i personally know yeah i just told you i feel

00:33:35.560 about plus ones i need one yeah exactly i don't know we're we're attached to the hip too i'll do a

00:33:40.700 couple things without him here and there but yeah um i love working with him he comes in the road he

00:33:44.360 opens for me love yeah it's yeah a pre-podcast tour in a way okay t it works for me and with my

00:33:50.600 fiancee too because he doesn't like being the center of attention at all and i love being the center of

00:33:55.040 attention so it works it's great for us well jonathan never had done stand-up and now he's

00:34:01.200 doing it and he's doing like a 15 minute like sat when he opens and he's so good at it and like we

00:34:05.720 were backstage in toronto two weeks ago and the live nation rep was there and she went to him and

00:34:09.780 she was like hey like this was really amazing because that's not what he wanted i kind of like

00:34:14.080 bullied him into i'm like you're on the road get a paycheck if you can like let's do it but no he's

00:34:19.500 yeah he's crushing it right now too it's like a it's a content house of our own i guess

00:34:23.220 you guys are doing your own hype house yeah i'm like i have a wig on help me record

00:34:27.180 well girl i'm gonna ask you some uh about some random questions some random tidbits about you 1.00

00:34:34.460 okay here we go okay so these are from my lovely producer amanda so says here five years ago you

00:34:41.460 posted a youtube video called my dream veneers where you explained that your dream for 2020 was to quote

00:34:46.960 secure the bag so that you can buy a great set of veneers how's that dream going for you

00:34:51.880 that's a deep dive that was me trying to do it was emma chamberlain edits like you know that era 1.00

00:34:58.160 of youtube actually i watched it the other day and i was like this was pretty funny i was like that

00:35:02.620 i think i privated that that video my no i kept the pipe i kept the public go watch that now it's

00:35:07.240 really funny um no wait the veneer culture has shifted it has it wasn't like they shifted away from

00:35:13.340 it yeah yeah because i am with you on that because we were the same age yeah so growing up veneers were

00:35:18.880 the thing and now people have these like dog teeth like barbie teeth i'm not oh girl yeah and

00:35:24.460 not everybody like some people have really great veneers but the veneers i'm seeing on like tiktok

00:35:28.360 are scary yeah they're it's like a real flipper like uh toddlers and tiaras such that's exactly what

00:35:34.920 it is i also heard about um veneer breath or something have you ever i think it's the bacteria

00:35:41.780 in the decay inside the veneer i think in the in the ceiling girl no no no bad breath no i draw the

00:35:50.760 line i can't do it especially not in this job that's all we do is talk for a living i and i kind

00:35:55.620 of think my teeth are quirky like they're my like i look at my mouth and oh those are my teeth me too

00:36:00.200 so it's like yeah i'll get them i've gotten them whitened a bunch of times i'll keep them there's no

00:36:05.200 enamel left it's like these things are basically i literally can't get mine whitened because my enamel is

00:36:10.440 naturally low damn so like they my teeth are so sensitive i can't even bite cold things like 0.75

00:36:16.360 your teeth are white though thank you yeah really yeah you gotta go toothpaste plug that crest i honestly 0.63

00:36:24.860 don't even know what toothpaste i use to be honest i don't know i think it's also genetic too a lot of 0.97

00:36:29.700 it's genetic but i've thought about veneers too because like my bottom teeth are fucked up and that's 0.91

00:36:34.680 because of well if you ask my dentist it's because i didn't wear my retainers but if you ask me 0.84

00:36:39.020 it's because i got my wisdom teeth and they like they fucked my teeth up because my teeth were 0.93

00:36:44.340 fucked up when i was a kid i had like an underbite and my teeth were all on top of each other when i 0.91

00:36:49.740 was a child so i had a real jacked up grill for a long time did that's in like in any way shape or 0.98

00:36:55.400 form affect my confidence no of course not oh get out of here of course i was smiling with my teeth

00:36:59.660 all the time how long do you have braces for i had well first i had like three or four spacers just

00:37:06.120 to realign my jaw yeah then i had permanent retainers for like a year then i had braces for

00:37:12.100 two and a half years then i was supposed to wear retainers after so believe it or not this is after

00:37:16.420 years of work they look great they look great and they like match your face they look like your it's

00:37:21.680 your teeth like imagine if you would put like i think that too about your teeth you got great teeth

00:37:24.560 thank you if i put veneers on i'd be like scary i think so too i remember when i got my braces off

00:37:29.580 though i cried because i thought my teeth were so small which they are but they're proportionate to

00:37:35.100 my face once i saw what they have to do to give you veneers like when they have to shave your teeth

00:37:40.300 down to those little like shark teeth yeah spooky it's just like spooky i'm not into it i don't like

00:37:45.880 that permanent alteration with teeth also like oh i remember trixie mattel once was talking about how 0.91

00:37:54.200 when she was saying veneers i asked for wisconsin white which is la yellow because some of the

00:38:00.420 teeth are so white they're looking blue yeah they go blue so quick like led headlights on like a ford

00:38:06.660 yeah yeah veneers are not in my journey as of right now so if the plans change they change i'll

00:38:13.160 call you i'll tell you i think too that i think big teeth in my mouth would be horrifying

00:38:18.640 yeah you should try that though in like a face swap feature like ai oh and see how i feel about it

00:38:24.120 just for a giggle see just take a walk on the wild side like on a plane or something when you're

00:38:29.700 bored like trying out different that's actually a really good idea because if you want to see how

00:38:34.340 you'll look with them you could easily yeah yeah you're just like watching a movie like

00:38:39.120 might as well pass the time okay here's another tidbit let's see you told new york live news that

00:38:46.880 you own about a hundred wigs stored in bins i do any particular reason or just collecting

00:38:52.300 i do all my characters i just have all these wigs i like buy wigs all the times for different videos

00:38:57.820 and it's like what i'm kind of like doing mostly right now is character stuff um but wigs are just

00:39:03.160 so fun i was gonna say so you need a hundred of those well it's been seven years it's been seven

00:39:08.180 years and the thing is my wig aftercare atrocious so i use the wig right back in that bin yeah i said

00:39:14.960 i have i actually just bought satin bags oh nice i said look at me after seven years

00:39:19.540 upgrade yeah but they're they're they're in a lot of bins but um yeah so many wigs you love a wig

00:39:26.420 do you love halloween i love halloween me too every gay person loves halloween that's that's

00:39:31.060 didn't want to assume yeah i didn't get to do halloween when i was a kid though oh my parents

00:39:35.280 were super religious like that i know see we're like halloween's the devil yeah and now they've like

00:39:41.740 shifted their ways i'm like you couldn't have done that in 2006 like i was chomping at the bit

00:39:47.200 what's your best halloween costume um oh geez my best halloween costume uh i did like seven a

00:39:54.920 couple years ago and they were all reality tv stars and i did like that woman she's like she is 0.66

00:39:59.880 on a christian that was good also do you remember the show um it was like pretty wild and she was

00:40:07.120 calling about the she's like they said i wore my like yes yes yes yes i didn't remember her she was

00:40:12.900 going to court yeah and my little bb heels i did her um i do a bunch every single year you love a

00:40:20.100 reality tv moment oh my god i'm obsessed my new me and my sister's new thing is i want to have a baby

00:40:25.260 that's our new thing i want to have another baby yeah no i don't cam

00:40:30.940 i don't did you watch the extended clip of that yeah i watched like where she goes i really just

00:40:38.420 like where she elaborates on what she's saying i was telling her well then she says she has a missed

00:40:42.480 period and she goes how long she goes three she goes weeks and she goes months and then kyle goes

00:40:48.900 kyle goes are you sure it's not menopause i said drag her drag her right now she's already down bad 1.00

00:40:55.480 if i i am not a reality tv girl but if i feel about like housewives any of that if it was shown in like

00:41:03.540 highlights like they do like baseball highlight yeah i would watch it all the time yeah it's

00:41:07.940 everything in between i'm not really keen on but i am obsessed that's all you love a reality tv

00:41:14.120 what's your fave right now i'm in the middle of real housewives of new jersey okay t yeah i'm on season

00:41:19.860 10 but my favorite housewife franchise is either og new york or potomac i love potomac so much

00:41:27.720 um yeah but they're really good and they inspire a lot of my characters yeah just like really bat 1.00

00:41:33.820 shit crazy women who are just like just i don't know they're just like dynamic and the show is 1.00

00:41:38.320 amazing i love i know i saw i saw tiktok recently about i think real housewives of new jersey but it 0.95

00:41:44.420 was like a specific place in jersey and i saw a guy saying like this is going to be the best like

00:41:49.960 franchise i've ever seen i can't remember who it was but he was like what an oddly specific place 0.66

00:41:54.340 to do a housewives shit i don't remember where it was at i know it was on the east coast me not 0.88

00:41:58.800 knowing anything my real housewives in every state would you ever do it have you ever been asked 0.99

00:42:02.880 to do housewives anything to do like a reality tv moment oh reality tv yeah i get asked to do reality

00:42:08.560 tv all the time i've been offered like a reality tv show many times but i i think it's because they

00:42:13.620 think that my family looks like the housewives it doesn't it's my my everyday life is very boring

00:42:20.660 i think it would be interesting i don't think you're boring though i know i think it's i think

00:42:24.520 it's fun like like it's exciting but i don't think it's nearly as dramatic but i know it's reality tv

00:42:30.620 is not reality like i know they they kind of they shut up certain things yeah but mostly i've said no

00:42:37.080 because my home life is like the last thing i have so that's like i don't want a camera in my house

00:42:43.780 like i'm recorded all the time i don't want to i don't want to be recorded at home especially not like

00:42:48.580 with my family like i feel so protective of my family you know what i mean would your family be

00:42:53.520 good on tv yeah most likely oh they'd be entertaining i think people would love it i

00:42:58.800 think they would find it really interesting but i don't think i don't want to do like i don't know

00:43:03.780 i just i fear what that would do to my family dynamic i feel like it would just bleed into it

00:43:08.880 in some regard but i feel like you would thrive on reality tv maybe i want to do survivor so bad

00:43:14.740 do you yeah are you a survivor kind of girl are you like an outdoorsy girl no but i'll figure it

00:43:19.200 out i started watching a year and a half ago and i've seen three seasons and that's it and i'm like

00:43:24.000 literally sending an audition i've done all my research i auditioned they didn't call me

00:43:29.060 every every podcast i go on i go survivor casting what the hell happened you guys need people i'm here

00:43:34.760 you missed out on a good one there's that there's like a survivor type one in the uk you should apply

00:43:40.100 to that one oh damn i didn't yeah i saw do you know gk berry no oh she's a british influencer she 1.00

00:43:45.740 was on there i know a max what's his last name he's on like i'm gonna i'm gonna celebrity get 0.83

00:43:50.560 me out of here australia version oh yeah see why don't you apply to one of those i like the foreign

00:43:55.180 ones get the international one yeah you'll be a token american i think that's a great idea i don't i

00:43:59.760 like reality tv that's a competition based oh that's yeah that's fun yeah like yeah i don't maybe

00:44:05.520 big brother i would do i was just about to say you should do big brother yeah i would do i think

00:44:09.960 you would thrive i think it's like funny and i like the i don't know like the like the sound

00:44:13.700 bites you get on those things i'm not gonna do like no one's watching keeping up with the porters

00:44:18.740 like i'm telling you it's not giving you know it's like you you and your boyfriend should apply

00:44:23.460 for the amazing race oh we've talked about this i we would have such a blowout like right i would 0.57

00:44:28.420 rip the mic pack off like i would actually like like huss him out i've said that too i am i am a

00:44:35.060 nightmare to like yeah like i compete with not even compete with like when i'm upset like i really

00:44:39.860 shut down like like don't put me in a high pressure situation with the camera i'm trying to

00:44:44.420 have fun jonathan is a saint for dealing with me i'm like god like the airport in like guadalajara

00:44:49.800 i'm like freaking out he's like but you stop you're i can't even travel i'm not stressed i know i just

00:44:55.840 i'm really high strung and then i'm like that's my life though i'm like my emotions are high or low

00:44:59.280 yeah which is kind of crazy for him but like for me i'm like i don't like the middle

00:45:02.940 it's the best and the worst of me at all times when i first blew up on tiktok like i had hit my

00:45:09.580 first million i had just gotten signed i got asked to um apply for the circle because the first season

00:45:16.840 of the circle had done so well so i was like yeah sure like i figured why not like i'm already doing 0.51

00:45:22.520 this tiktok shit so i did a bunch of rounds of interviews and stuff i was gonna catfish as my man 0.65

00:45:27.740 so i was gonna use his pictures and videos and stuff and pretend to be him and i was like 0.99

00:45:31.980 i know a lot about sports i could i could i could talk a bitch down i could easily hit on a girl 1.00

00:45:36.900 i could easily do that shit and i was so i applied i got to the very last round like where they almost 0.99

00:45:42.140 cast me but then they did the psych eval and then i didn't get it um so you were gonna get it but you 0.99

00:45:47.960 failed the psych eval wait tell everything what do they ask on those on the psych eval yeah uh they ask

00:45:55.320 you things like do you have trouble being alone for long periods of time it like depends it depends

00:46:00.460 on like the the show you're going on okay it's so i think like they'll ask you like do you you know

00:46:05.880 have any sort of things about self-harming or anything like they ask you like very serious stuff

00:46:11.060 and then they also ask you stuff about like how do you feel about being perceived on television by

00:46:16.360 people and how do you feel but i think why they didn't pick me was because they said the one of the

00:46:21.320 last questions they asked me was what's your greatest fear about being on a reality television

00:46:24.520 show and i said being perceived as someone that i'm not like or painted to be someone that i'm not

00:46:29.180 didn't pick me because in the earlier rounds because i applied and i said i was going to pretend to be my

00:46:35.240 fiancee whatever they obviously were super into that they thought that was really funny and then my

00:46:40.040 tiktok presence they were like oh my god she's like mean to men it's like perfect and then i remember

00:46:45.100 one of the interviews they were asking me if i would consider myself a guy's girl like they're like

00:46:50.080 are all your friends dudes because girls are drama that's a verbatim question they asked me 0.99

00:46:54.640 and i'm 26 or 27 so i feel way too old for that kind of conversation yeah yeah but second of all i

00:47:02.080 was like no like when they said that i was like no almost all my friends are women if there are men

00:47:09.120 in my life they're either related to me my man or gay so they were going to paint you a certain way

00:47:13.620 they were going to make me a pick me yeah and then i was i remembered saying to like my agent because 0.92

00:47:18.220 i just signed her at the time i was like telling her that's gonna shoot my brand in the face if 0.99

00:47:22.840 they like i the whole point of my presence is because i'm not a pick me but then on the circle

00:47:28.240 i'm gonna be like girls are drama yeah you know what i mean the best then you know yeah i didn't

00:47:32.540 get it for the best and also they said i would have to live in a hotel by myself in london for three

00:47:37.220 months and i was like oh can't do that no no me being away from my own bed for that long i was like

00:47:42.460 maybe i don't want three months yeah that one yeah i need to figure out tighter turnaround that's

00:47:47.320 i cannot be good for production but like great british baking show oh if they asked me wait they

00:47:54.740 they literally have those like like mini ones with like the celebrities yeah right you could do that

00:48:00.600 i want to be on the real one oh yeah oh it's gonna get dual session yeah i'm gonna go now i'll go live

00:48:06.220 there for three months yeah if i get to be on that show jew is in the tent yeah do you like that show 0.85

00:48:13.960 i've seen every single season i have the cookbook i love it i love that fucking that's my favorite 0.92

00:48:18.700 when they talk reality tv i'm like too hot to handle no great british baking show there's never 0.93

00:48:24.920 been another show that's so pure and they want the best for each other and even when they do bad

00:48:29.420 like they cry like like the hosts are crying it's my favorite it's my favorite show in the world 0.99

00:48:33.740 i'm always and they compete for that fuck ass cake tin i know that's all they get at the end 0.99

00:48:38.600 and a firm handshake right now it's noel and allison and they're and it's like the dream team i love 1.00

00:48:44.480 them they're so we should do that i would die we should cope we would kill it me getting butterflies 0.99

00:48:50.120 except you're definitely like more like the noel energy because you're like a bad bitch and i'm 1.00

00:48:58.040 like definitely allison who's just like i think so too i love it i think we would be wonderful 0.97

00:49:02.240 yeah i would do it i would like to host something like that me too i would do something like that

00:49:07.900 i'm super down because they don't have to do anything they're just kind of cracking jokes

00:49:10.940 and like eating the little dessert yeah they're there for vibes yeah because i've said it if i go

00:49:15.960 on the show as a contestant i'm going out week one i know that i'm going out week one i know that but 0.97

00:49:20.660 i'm gonna make such a lasting impression because i'm gonna just be cracking jokes the entire fucking 0.98

00:49:25.200 time well drag race has proven like you can go out week one and you can still be like the icon of the 0.57

00:49:29.920 show exactly i was gonna ask you about drag race i love drag race obviously yeah some of your fave

00:49:35.660 queens do you have any faves well i love chicksy i love bob obviously i love like ivy winters from

00:49:41.360 like season six right now right now i think crystal envy is doing really great on the new season oh yeah

00:49:46.440 i haven't watched the new season yeah it just started so you're not far behind i love a bunch of

00:49:50.120 them i just like i love the comedy queens oh um delta delta work yeah have you had her on the show

00:49:56.220 yeah oh my god i literally love her she's so funny she's like what i want to be she makes me comfortable 0.98

00:50:02.120 like being older because like yeah she's just so so funny i think she's probably my favorite she killed

00:50:08.000 she was so funny she was actually the first queen to come on my show in drag okay cool because everyone

00:50:13.320 comes out of drag mostly it's been her and bianca del rio oh how was that it was fun bianca's was so

00:50:20.040 fun i'd be nervous oh yeah i know everyone was like are you nervous i was like no because she's 0.95

00:50:24.060 a cunt like me so it's gonna be fine i'm gonna have so much fun and we did we had we had the most 0.91

00:50:29.020 fun ever we were like making fun of each other i got her a couple times really well at the end i 0.98

00:50:33.660 remember i did this whole long running bit about what i was gonna do if i ever got nominated for a 0.97

00:50:37.440 golden globe the the punchline ended up me being like with my tits out that was the and they're 0.67

00:50:42.120 painted golden globes oh i love that that was the punchline of my very long running bit that she was 0.96

00:50:47.120 following me on shortly after that she like made a joke started trying to open another bit and i was 0.97

00:50:53.240 like yeah i don't know like i just didn't receive and she goes i went with your whole stupid golden 0.99

00:50:57.860 globe story and you couldn't follow me that one fucking time she goes that whole stupid story i 1.00

00:51:04.180 followed you yeah so yeah she's good oh my god she'd make me nervous i love the drag guys girls 1.00

00:51:08.960 i love it i know they're mean yeah i love drag in general do you ever go to like drag shows um i've

00:51:14.160 been to a few yeah i love them they're so fun we were at a bar last week and it just like turned into

00:51:18.800 a drag show like when wednesday at 10 i was like what's happening the girls are out it's like shoddy

00:51:24.260 is it a crime is it literally sobbing sobbing holding a mirror like i'm like is it a crime

00:51:30.040 oh my god that's there's so much drag here in new york which is like one of the best parts i know

00:51:37.300 i've never been to a drag show out here oh i've been to a few in california yeah but i've never

00:51:41.160 been to one out here and i've been to like i've been to like hamburger mary's and all of that a few

00:51:44.660 times classic you gotta go yeah it's fun have a hamburger the food's good the food is good at

00:51:50.380 hamburger mary there it is good i appreciate it i remember too um the last time i went to hamburger

00:51:56.700 mary's i remember i was already doing this for a living and the queen who was hosting the whole 0.98

00:52:01.160 night at the very end she goes by the way i know exactly who the fuck you are whenever you want to 0.98

00:52:05.380 come back you let me know all right let's go back on the mic and she did not treat me differently the 0.99

00:52:10.440 whole night and then at the very end she slid me that little yeah yeah she had to let you know 1.00

00:52:14.660 love that love the queens i talk a lot about with my guests too i'll like there are certain rooms in 0.91

00:52:19.460 which i feel like people know me and then there are rooms where i don't mean shit to anybody yeah i'm 0.71

00:52:23.920 that too totally yeah like if you put me in like gillette stadium at the patriots no one gives a 0.97

00:52:28.320 fuck you put me in the middle of main street magic kingdom those women are barking for a photo 1.00

00:52:35.340 my audience is mamas do you like uh walt disney disney world oh i love them both i am like i am 1.00

00:52:43.180 rebranding for disney adults because i'm like we're not all crazy okay i agree i love it on that i love i

00:52:49.080 love theme parks you mean i don't think i'm gonna have a kid so i'm just gonna continue to be a kid

00:52:52.920 the rest of my life i'm not having children either look at us i don't i just win i have so

00:52:57.600 many kids in my family and my sister calls me with these stories she's like oh my nephew did the fattest 0.99

00:53:01.300 shit in the bathtub i'm like that's crazy like that's so like i'm just like not into it um so 0.98

00:53:07.740 yeah i just like i feel like i'm a big kid so i can't love yeah have you been to universal in 0.98

00:53:11.840 in orlando is it in orland yeah yeah there's i haven't been to the one in la i did a backlot tour when

00:53:17.420 i was in la last time because i like stuff like that it was so fun did you watch gilmore girls

00:53:23.380 i didn't watch it but i know of it okay so we're in the gilmore girls set in the gazebo in the

00:53:28.520 middle of town and i'm freaking out no one on our tour cares and he goes they want a picture of me

00:53:32.840 and jonathan like please in the gazebo no one else wanted a picture in the gazebo i was like guys this

00:53:38.040 is like a pretty big job this is an iconic venue and nobody here appreciates it oh my god what was

00:53:42.880 that doja cat music video where she was like on the walls and the ceiling oh scary demon yes demon 1.00

00:53:49.480 yeah we were in that house okay i got to be in that house spooky i know have you done a backlot

00:53:54.280 tour no i've never done one you have i know i've been universal a few times but i've never like in

00:53:58.980 la and i've been to the one in florida i've never done the la one i heard that one's really good i did

00:54:02.600 like the paramount one i think yeah no the one in the one in florida in my opinion is more fun for

00:54:08.280 adults but there's still cool stuff in in the one in la but like in florida like i remember a couple

00:54:13.820 years ago i rode the hagrid's ride for the first time sick girl i had so much fun i was laughing so

00:54:19.860 hard i had tears going down my face it's sweet and the girl was taking me out she goes are you okay

00:54:23.740 and then i go i just like had so much fun when it drops down for the first time ever oh my god

00:54:29.860 we were sitting when we went i went when i went to when playlist live was still a thing wow and so

00:54:36.580 they rented it out for creators and their families for one night cool and so uh like one of my agents

00:54:44.100 she was like we have to go on hagrid's ride it's like so fun and we're like okay so there's no line

00:54:47.800 or anything so we go all the way in and we're getting in the little cars and it's like you know

00:54:51.780 it's like that in the side car right it's like a bike and a side car right and so i'm sitting in

00:54:57.080 the side car and my fiance was on the bike and he goes what kind of ride is this and i go i don't know

00:55:02.140 i think it's uh i think alex said it's kind of like a roller coaster and he goes this thing's a

00:55:06.580 roller coaster because you know it like all it does is push on your back and that's it like arches

00:55:10.040 your back a little yeah yeah you're touching you know what i mean you feel real good on that right

00:55:16.560 right and i he goes this thing's a roller coaster i go that's what she said i don't know i'm i'm

00:55:22.280 experiencing it for the first time with you and he was like i literally don't know yeah and then as

00:55:27.260 soon as it rips around that first corner i didn't stop screaming the entire time no i know i was

00:55:32.260 experiencing true joy it's like you're like up yeah you're really like in it i remember after we

00:55:36.920 went on the veloci coaster which was the scariest ride i've ever been on yeah that's violent after

00:55:41.660 we went on that one we were like are these like street legal roller coasters i feel like they're like

00:55:47.140 breaking laws in some regard they're insane yeah they are they are insane that's a fun run do you ever

00:55:53.200 i don't go on the rides when there's like a a little like local carnival like those rides

00:55:57.120 scare me no yeah i won't do like a zipper moment you're not gonna catch me on that

00:56:00.740 no no no no no this year i'm trying to go to the wisconsin state fair okay t what's going on there

00:56:09.060 first of all wisconsin beautiful state is it yeah i just had a show in minnesota that's wisconsin

00:56:14.820 wisconsin now i'm freaking out is minnesota in wisconsin minnesota people where you at baby

00:56:21.340 damn it wisconsin is different no it's not wisconsin minnesota is minnesota in wisconsin no 0.67

00:56:30.200 those are two different states okay oh okay so what's the capital of minnesota 0.97

00:56:34.800 uh i'm blanking on this right now i loved it there uh i literally loved it there

00:56:41.140 no see what's the capital you love it you loved it so much you can't remember guys the air

00:56:47.920 st paul minnesota it's the one next to st paul it's the twin cities it's st paul the other one

00:56:52.980 minneapolis got there everybody minneapolis is the most fabulous city i've ever been to

00:56:58.900 their airport is gorgeous really and it's real woozy and can't be out there it's crazy that you

00:57:03.660 say that because i'm flying to minnesota tomorrow for the first time yeah oh my god you're gonna love

00:57:07.780 it their airport has projections by like you really hear luggage comes out like nature projections

00:57:12.580 there's like water bubbling and like birds cawing and i'm like this is like not necessary but so

00:57:18.060 cute oh wow it's themed but um they have the second largest state fair in the country

00:57:23.040 i'll come back and i will be back labor diary check i'm looking at flights now yeah that's your 0.94

00:57:30.180 bucket list type deal yeah i love stuff like that a kitschy stupid stuff like really let me go do that 0.83

00:57:35.460 for fun for the experience i think i need to go do that yeah yeah because you were telling me that 0.96

00:57:39.860 you hate festivals i hate music festivals music festivals but you love a fair yeah yes i don't

00:57:46.040 what about like a ren fair oh i love a ren fair have you been to one yeah i've never been to one

00:57:50.340 my goal is to go to one this year is there one in la yeah there's a ton in california and you have

00:57:54.660 to dress up yeah a little bit girl i'm gonna go full i'm gonna i have elf ears and everything i'm

00:57:58.960 gonna wear them all so i just did elf ears one year with like a normal often i was like not being a

00:58:02.220 cute elf like not being a low-key elf people like we're the one i have it's like summertime and

00:58:07.560 they'll be in full chain i'm like you stink it's raunchy well they're living in the times oh you're

00:58:13.620 right right i love ren fair i want to i want to go so badly they're fun right i like stuff like that

00:58:19.280 i know it's so silly when i was in middle school we did like a whole like renaissance like unit but at

00:58:26.780 the end of the like semester or whatever we had a big like ren fair and each like class was a different

00:58:34.880 kingdom and we had like competitions and all competed against each other god bless those

00:58:39.320 teachers right like they were really doing it they had no no like reason to ever have to do that but

00:58:45.060 they like it was like a full thing like you're like still talking about that's like 25 years later

00:58:50.720 shout out teachers yeah y'all are really doing it i remember because i was so excited because

00:58:55.680 you got to well first of all they had you like vote on different caste systems so like i wanted to be a

00:59:02.220 lady but i didn't want to be the queen or anything because i didn't want any jobs i just wanted to

00:59:05.440 dress pretty because there were people who were peasants and they had to come to school dressed like 1.00

00:59:08.960 that i'm not doing that so i got to be a lady no way and that's why i think the ren fair is calling

00:59:16.400 me i think i gotta go back it's yeah put it on the calendar look forward to it get the outfit now

00:59:21.340 corset bus i'm gonna rent a whole costuming thing rent the runway 1.00

00:59:26.140 a newly that's a ren fair dress okay we'll do one more we'll do one more fun tidbit okay

00:59:34.640 and here it says one of your first acting gigs was in college and you had to make a commercial

00:59:40.880 psa for an ad agency about teen safety in the workplace what does that look like oh my god i went

00:59:48.260 to school for advertising i wanted to do that so my the the guy who was our professor worked for a

00:59:55.120 real ad agency and they were doing like a local psa about teen safety so i had to play a teenager

00:59:59.920 i was like i'm so youthful um so i was like 21 and this commercial is tall and they need you to be in

01:00:04.600 the pool and they need you to be naked and j-lo might pop in whole nudity i said i'll do a full 1.00

01:00:08.880 frontal they said it's teen safety so relax so we can't have that yeah i was like okay so no creative

01:00:14.520 control here um no it was so it was so funny it was like the whole thing was like if you're working

01:00:20.560 in unsafe condition you can text this hotline they'll like come and like i don't know help you out a

01:00:24.680 little bit t so i was like you don't have to take those jobs if you're nervous just call this number

01:00:29.700 and it was like well call it safe jobs ri like we're like adding it into like an iphone it's like a whole

01:00:34.760 bit it was funny it was cute it was my first acting gig it's not on imdb though i should get that credit

01:00:40.280 or something no sag card for that huh yeah i really just did it to like make the professor like me so

01:00:45.060 that he gave me an internship which did work t yeah friends in high places i brought a sweatshirt that

01:00:50.560 they didn't like so they made me wear an aeropostle like black sweatshirt with like fur in it or something

01:00:54.520 and i was like why this the picture's there the video is there yeah right it's you're all it's okay

01:00:59.720 i still got the gig yeah i got hey i got booked booked yeah when i was like in 10 i think when i was

01:01:06.320 like 10 or 11 uh my mom worked for like this agency that ran the local youth bus like or the local buses 1.00

01:01:13.920 like in the city that i was living in at the time and they needed young kids because they were trying

01:01:20.260 to encourage kids to like use public transportation during the summer and so they needed young children

01:01:26.380 like that to like photograph like they were going to the beach or something like that gotcha for like

01:01:30.500 uh advertising in the buses and like in the brochures and so my mom they asked my mom they're

01:01:35.620 like oh you have two young daughters right like bring them and maybe they will get cast in it and i

01:01:40.720 remember we both got cast but then my sister uh she did something bad so then she got grounded

01:01:46.160 and so then my mom just took me by myself to the photo shoot like i was in there by myself but i

01:01:52.500 remember i was the only brown kid and i was really dark at the time too because it was summer and it

01:01:58.380 was me and like three white kids and one asian kid so it's like real college brochure yeah like mixed

01:02:03.260 races and so i remember they kept putting me if there was like two whites they'd have to put me in

01:02:09.680 there too and if there was one white one pale then me in there too like they were trying to balance

01:02:13.620 you were busy yeah all the time yeah they had me in every knee drill we need you for this one it

01:02:17.260 looks too white it looks too white let's bring another one and so like i remember yeah they took

01:02:21.560 so many pictures of me the whole day i was feeling fierce i was like oh my god taking picture pics of

01:02:27.240 me when i'm 10 right i'm like oh i'm loving my mom got me a new outfit i was loving it do you still

01:02:31.700 have the pictures yeah i do i need to find them i i still have the brochure and everything i came on a

01:02:36.420 poster and all that shit i saved all of it that's like your first big gig yeah i was like look at me 0.85

01:02:41.120 and then i remembered when i saw the prints after like because i am in some of the pictures 0.90

01:02:46.020 but some of the other ones they photoshopped uh my hair my skin and like to make me look like the

01:02:53.360 other girls because i was in too many pictures so they literally put blonde hair and white skin 1.00

01:02:58.540 on my body like when i'm turned to the side on your bone structure so it's your face yeah so it is

01:03:02.800 my face but they just changed the eye color and everything and it's not done very well because

01:03:06.320 it wasn't like photoshop wasn't what it is now when i was 10 but i remember being like that's

01:03:11.400 literally me like my hair my hair was so long at the time too it was like down past my butt they 0.77

01:03:17.020 got you like a bob yeah they just made it bleach blonde i look like a the valerians

01:03:21.440 for the dragon here's blue eyes like that color contact i look like that meme of miley cyrus when

01:03:28.460 she's staring yeah that's that's what i looked like yeah that's not ethical and that's weird

01:03:32.300 yeah it was so and i remember being like why did you have me going every page

01:03:35.880 now you're being a body double i know they literally had me standing in

01:03:40.560 i was a stunt double oh it's awful and now look at us thriving yeah we've come a long way from um

01:03:47.240 public service announcements from teen safety in the workplace okay to just kind of like wrap us up a

01:03:54.020 i know you talked a lot about tori talked about how you started you talked about your podcast what

01:04:00.700 would you say is like your best piece of advice for people who maybe want to entertain for a living

01:04:05.240 and maybe feel lost like you said you did at one point i think just uh just go for it and trust your

01:04:10.400 gut and like be prepared to work really hard and you have to believe in yourself before anybody else

01:04:15.760 does because it takes a long time for people to catch up sometimes um but uh if you if it's meant

01:04:20.920 for you it'll be for you there's just room for everybody i agree i couldn't agree more and what

01:04:26.100 you said too earlier when you're like i'm just gonna write it myself i feel like a lot of times

01:04:29.380 that's what you have to do yeah i talked about being grateful for the internet for that reason

01:04:33.280 because i'm like some of us would never get seen if we didn't have tiktok or anything like that it

01:04:38.600 was just like a one way to become like a public figure yeah what you were saying earlier when you

01:04:42.400 were like i feel like it was just being an actor was the only way to get because we had no way of

01:04:47.680 knowing actor because it's like now at least people can say influencer i guess too but yeah

01:04:51.800 no i think just like write your own destiny like love figure it out yourself because there's an

01:04:55.580 avenue there just got to get everyone else to believe it too period well i love you thank you
