00:00:00.000 A massive scandal is erupting in the Republican House race in Ohio, with Max Miller being accused of abusing his ex-wife and child.
00:00:10.500 Now, where this gets interesting, first, the media is calling this Graham Plattner scandal on steroids, which it's not.
00:00:19.800 I mean, for a variety of reasons, it's a House race, not a Senate seat, but it is scandalous.
00:00:24.400 And Donald Trump has even intervened, reportedly calling the Republicans saying it's not looking good.
00:00:28.660 Now, Max Miller, who was accused of things like breaking his daughter's collarbone and scalding his wife, I guess it's the reporting, is denying any wrongdoing.
00:00:38.500 But the thing is, his his ex-wife, she's the daughter of a Republican senator.
00:00:43.960 So this is not some partisan scandal attack where, you know, with like Graham Plattner, they claim Republicans were trying to dig up dirt and opposition research on Plattner.
00:00:54.100 And it's like, guys, stop. Plattner had a Nazi tattoo on his chest for 20 years.
00:00:59.760 But in that same regard, this is a Republican senator's daughter marrying a dude who is in Congress who is accused of abusing his wife and child.
00:01:08.620 You know, I hate to say it, but if Democrats came out and were claiming things that the family was denying, then I'd be a little more reluctant to to entertain these kinds of scandals.
00:01:20.780 But this is massive because it's a Republican family and a Republican ex-husband and wife.
00:01:27.320 So what is this scandal really about?
00:01:29.540 Guys, I'm going to say it.
00:01:30.720 I don't know what's true.
00:01:32.280 I also don't know why a Republican senator's daughter would lie about her ex-husband just
00:01:37.560 before the midterms.
00:01:38.740 It's not exactly an October surprise.
00:01:41.080 So with that being said, I think it would be, what's the right word?
00:01:45.820 it would be responsible of Republicans to challenge whether or not these are legitimate 0.96
00:01:53.020 accusations, whether they actually have real credibility, not like some of the whack-a-loon
00:01:56.840 accusations we've seen in the past. And should they have any kind of merit? Perhaps this guy,
00:02:02.220 Max Miller, is not the guy for Ohio's seventh. Now, we are in a tight, tight race. Democrats
00:02:07.700 are leading in the polling, but their lead is miserably small. And we're also looking at a
00:02:13.000 massive demographic shift as boomers are now at what's called the mortality cliff, meaning
00:02:19.380 boomers are older now than life expectancy. So the expectation is that we are going to see
00:02:25.680 boomers start dying in accelerated numbers, not trying to be morbid or disrespectful, but it is 1.00
00:02:31.220 true. And boomers have a very particular voting pattern, which is going to go away. How things 0.90
00:02:36.380 will change, we can't quite predict. But the question is, will there be a Republican who can
00:02:42.240 replace Max Miller this close to the midterm race? Honestly, I have no idea. It is just one race,
00:02:49.140 but this scandal is bad news for Republicans and they need all the help they can get,
00:02:53.520 which is why you are seeing an image of Donald Trump on the phone, which probably is a completely
00:02:57.880 unrelated phone call. But the reporting is Trump actually called him up and said, hey, buddy,
00:03:03.140 it ain't looking good. Now, Miller put out a statement just before I started filming
00:03:06.680 saying he's going to release everything. He's not going to back down. He's going to file an
00:03:12.420 ethics complaint against himself to be investigated. And I suppose the question is then,
00:03:17.140 did dude actually do anything or is he being falsely accused? For which I revert back to
00:03:22.720 his ex-wife's the daughter of a Republican senator. I got to just say, I don't want to
00:03:28.040 sound biased, but right off the bat, knowing that this would be good for Democrats, you know,
00:03:33.980 you get a kind of Game of Thrones politicking behind the scenes, which makes me feel like
00:03:38.560 there's a little bit more credibility to these accusations. Again, I don't know for sure,
00:03:42.500 you know, prove it or don't. I don't want to I don't want a guy to be accused without evidence.
00:03:46.340 I'm just saying I'd imagine if there was, you know, maybe this is Game of Thrones,
00:03:52.440 but I'm just saying like behind the scenes, you get like a Republican senator.
00:03:55.360 Wouldn't he be like, you can't risk the political control of the Republican Party
00:04:00.600 right now by coming out with this stuff?
00:04:03.520 Unless Max Miller didn't want to play ball.
00:04:05.960 Who knows?
00:04:07.200 But let's talk about this and jump into the story.
00:04:09.280 Before we do, my friends, click the link below

00:04:30.120 Check it out. We just did exposing media bias with all sides dot com, breaking down exactly how the corporate press is biased to the left and how there are many outlets that are actually biased to the right.
00:04:42.060 What it even means for an outlet to be unbiased. They call it center, but that's not the right way to describe it.
00:04:49.280 This interview, of course, is popping off. I think because you guys who watch me, one of the core elements of this show is that we call out media bias.
00:04:56.720 So definitely check it out, The Tim Pool Show.

00:05:04.420 But let's jump into the story.
00:05:06.300 Mediaite reports Trump reportedly phoned embattled House Republican.
00:05:09.580 Things aren't looking good.
00:05:11.580 President Trump phoned embattled Rep. Max Miller on Monday and questioned whether the
00:05:15.680 lawmaker can fend off his Democratic challenger in November, Axios reported.
00:05:20.420 Miller's been accused by his ex-wife, Emily Moreno, the daughter of Senator Bernie Moreno,
00:05:25.620 Republican of Ohio.
00:05:26.720 of abusing her and their daughter. Emily Moreno alleges that Miller pointed a gun at her head 0.99
00:05:32.540 through scalding hot water at her, pushed her into a wall and fractured their daughter's
00:05:37.620 collarbone. Miller denies the accusations. After weeks of silence, Senator Moreno on Sunday called
00:05:43.040 on Miller to drop his reelection bid. I'm gonna go ahead and say a collarbone accusation is easily
00:05:49.260 proven or disproven. Well, actually, I should say easily, but they can certainly present evidence
00:05:54.080 as to whether or not she actually had a collarbone fracture, and then doctors can actually tell
00:05:59.260 a likely cause of the fracture based on how and, you know. I'll just put it simply,
00:06:06.080 if he injured her with physical force, you can usually see not perfectly if it was caused by
00:06:10.880 another human. Alex Eisenstadt and Mark Caputo of Axios reported that Trump called Miller to
00:06:16.320 suggest the re-election bid is in jeopardy. Citing three sources familiar with the call,
00:06:20.500 The reporter said that the president told Miller things aren't looking good.
00:06:25.160 Trump said multiple times that it would be tough for Miller to win reelection.
00:06:29.200 Quote, as he has admitted privately, Max Miller needs serious psychological help.
00:06:33.360 Senator Moreno said in a statement on Sunday, he is a danger to my daughter and I hold my
00:06:37.740 breath every minute he has custody of my granddaughter. 0.99
00:06:40.440 Holy crap, guys, that's a Republican saying that. 0.96
00:06:45.240 Well, speaking with reporters in the Oval House on Monday, Trump called Miller a good 0.98
00:06:48.600 person. It's a very sad thing. I know, Max, he's a good person. I mean, I always thought he was a
00:06:53.300 very good person, the president said when asked about the matter, and I'm going to let the families
00:06:57.260 figure that out. His family, I know they're working on it. It's a very sad thing. In a video
00:07:02.420 statement on Sunday, Miller again denied abusing his wife. I categorically deny abusing my former
00:07:08.160 wife, he said, adding that she had significant mental health challenges. Miller's general
00:07:13.360 election opponent in Ohio's 7th congressional district is Democratic union worker Brian
00:07:17.200 poindexer. So now, my friends, the questions erupt as to what these accusations really come
00:07:25.340 from. I send on to you, my friends, to comment below. Do you believe Max Miller actually beat
00:07:32.660 his wife, pointed a gun at her, scalded her, broke his daughter's collarbone? Or could it be
00:07:38.480 that his wife, she wants custody of the kid? She is suffering from mental challenges like he 0.68
00:07:45.620 described. Guys, I got to be honest. I ain't someone who's going to come out and throw somebody
00:07:50.680 under the bus over an accusation. It's not happening. And you hear this all the time.
00:07:54.940 They say, believe women and all that stuff. And it's like, no, no, no, no, stop. I believe people
00:07:59.760 who can present evidence. Thank you. And have a nice day. And this means sometimes victims can't
00:08:04.680 prove it. Thank you. And have an I stay. I ain't going to throw a dude out, condemn a guy because
00:08:11.020 you would then be making you be victimizing him. You would be an aggressor. So the question is
00:08:16.100 this right now. You've got a family dispute. They're not married anymore. He's got custody
00:08:20.100 of his of his daughter. Wife says he's abusive, broke the daughter's collarbone. Dad says not
00:08:26.660 true. Should he drop out of the race? Well, I'm going to I'm going to throw some cold water on
00:08:31.820 you guys. He's a Republican. Maybe many of you like him. He's denied it. He's announced that
00:08:37.020 he's doing an ethics investigation into himself. But I'm going to say this. Politics is not a game
00:08:41.740 of the innocent or the guilty. Politics is about can you win? That's the only question that I have
00:08:47.460 for you guys to comment below. Do you believe Max Miller can win amid this ongoing scandal?
00:08:52.760 Trump seems to think that there is risk. Republicans could lose a seat if this is the guy
00:08:57.840 who is running. He's an incumbent and he's got a massive advantage as the incumbent. But with this
00:09:05.040 scandal. The question, again, is not innocent or guilt. It's did they get you? That's it.
00:09:11.580 Did they get you? What does that mean? Well, if you're guilty, if you actually did it,
00:09:15.980 were you caught and now your career is over? And if not, the question is,
00:09:21.280 did they level an accusation you can't fend off that's going to destroy your ability to
00:09:25.800 win an election? I hope everybody understands this. I am not trying to condemn or condone.
00:09:32.860 I am not trying to besmirch the honor of Max. I don't know. What I'm saying is in the battlefield
00:09:39.020 of politics, it's not about what's true. It's about, can you win? So I ask you this for many
00:09:47.240 of you. I know many people are going to come out and say, this is a ridiculous lie. She's trying 0.95
00:09:50.860 to get the kid. Okay. Honest question. And I'm not, I'm not prescribing anything. I'm just asking
00:09:55.920 you guys, do you believe he should continue his fight? Comment below. Should Max? Hey,
00:10:01.680 I'm Ruby Carr, the host of the podcast Encore.

00:10:30.040 continue his fight to win office and represent the people of ohio 7th in federal congress
00:10:37.140 or do you think there is a risk that republicans could lose this seat because of the scandal
00:10:43.760 and control of congress is more important honestly don't know max miller says in light
00:10:50.180 of all the renewed interest in my family affairs i am going to file my own paperwork for an ethics
00:10:54.520 investigation into myself to clear my name from these horrific attacks on myself and my family
00:10:58.960 I have absolutely nothing to hide. We will be providing the committee all necessary documents needed for a detailed examination. The accusations continue to change, but my facts stay the same. I'm looking forward to my colleagues reading everything for themselves. I want to stress this again because here's Bernie Moreno. He's 59 years old. And this is his daughter making the accusations. This is Emily Moreno.
00:11:22.400 Max Miller, accused of abuse, is not stepping aside.
00:11:24.660 Here's what we know.
00:11:25.860 The Ohio Republican, who was seeking a third term, defiantly denied domestic abuse allegations
00:11:29.820 ahead of a deadline to replace him on the ballot.
00:11:33.120 They say in a live stream that lasted about 20 minutes, Miller appeared agitated at times,
00:11:37.100 seemed to be laboring to read from a script as he categorically denied the accusations
00:11:41.940 by his ex-wife, Emily Moreno.
00:11:43.780 The lengthy public statement prompted Ms. Moreno's father, Senator Bernie Moreno,
00:11:48.280 to issue a public rebuke of Mr. Miller,
00:11:51.280 saying for the first time after a years-long legal battle
00:11:53.900 that his son-in-law was not fit to serve in Congress.
00:11:55.680 You've got to consider this, guys.
00:11:57.120 Even if you're like Max,
00:11:58.660 you've got a Republican senator now telling him to drop out
00:12:00.960 and saying he can't be in Congress.
00:12:02.720 That is an anti-endorsement
00:12:04.700 that's going to massively impact the guy.
00:12:06.580 And Moreno's a senator,
00:12:07.900 meaning he's got a lot of popularity in the state.
00:12:10.680 The intraparty family conflict has burst into public view
00:12:12.860 days before a deadline for replacing Mr. Miller on the ballot.
00:12:15.440 in the election for a seat that was once considered a lock for Republicans, but now
00:12:19.320 appears competitive. They say Miller and Moreno divorced in 24 and have battled in court ever
00:12:25.440 since in a custody battle that has included accusations of child abuse, stalking and the
00:12:30.520 filing of restraining orders. Miss Moreno has said that Mr. Miller scalded her chest and stomach by
00:12:35.180 throwing hot water from a skillet at her body. You should be able to prove those injuries. It
00:12:39.380 doesn't prove he did it, but it does provide evidence. Held a gun to her head, pushed her
00:12:43.420 against a wall and hit her in the head and fractured their daughter's collarbone and 0.59
00:12:46.840 bruised her shoulder. This is why it's very important. Ladies, document all of this stuff.
00:12:52.300 And for guys, hey, look, sometimes women fake these injuries, too. This is why it's like there's 1.00
00:12:58.220 no easy answer. You know what I mean? According to court documents, their daughter at one point
00:13:02.500 told Miss Moreno, Daddy, kill you. What? Mr. Miller has denied the charges and leveled his 0.98
00:13:07.700 own against Miss Moreno. He said without evidence that his wife suffers from a significant mental
00:13:11.940 health challenges. Now, I just sometimes, guys, I'm 40. You know, I've been doing this for a long
00:13:18.700 time. I've been in this industry my whole life. And I just sometimes want to punch this. He has
00:13:24.340 said, so I had a really great conversation, as I mentioned, on the Tim Pool show with Julie
00:13:28.440 Mastrini. She called this subjective qualifying adjectives. Adding the phrase without evidence
00:13:35.420 is immaterial to the claim because Ms. Barino also does not have evidence. The New York Times
00:13:41.220 is lying, they're manipulating you because they are scumbags. Here I am trying to be fair and 1.00
00:13:47.300 balanced, explaining to you guys that I don't know who's right and who's wrong in this one.
00:13:52.260 I just think that if Max is being, you know, anti-endorsed by a Republican senator, it's going
00:13:59.280 to be hard for him to win. But I just can't stand these evil people in media. They're not writing
00:14:05.240 these stories so that you can make a decision. They're not trying to inform you about what's
00:14:08.800 going on. They're trying to manipulate you because they frame it as though she's got evidence,
00:14:14.240 even though they never said whether she had it or not, but he has no evidence. Okay.
00:14:18.720 He called her a liar, a stalker, and a dangerous individual who has made him and their daughter 0.95
00:14:22.700 unsafe. In appearance on Sunday, Mr. Miller also contended that Ms. Moreno's claims were not
00:14:27.640 credible because she at times made friendly overtures to him after the episodes of alleged
00:14:30.980 abuse. If I had assaulted her, would you have offered to cook for me dinner six days later?
00:14:36.200 You see, I'm going to go ahead and say, maybe like there are tons of battered women who just 0.90
00:14:42.380 keep staying with their boyfriends. But I get it. If it's shorter, if it's like if you really 0.99
00:14:48.440 beat her or scowled at her, she's not likely to come back. So, you know, fair point. He also
00:14:53.240 noted that he retained joint custody of their daughter after years of legal battles, citing
00:14:57.540 that as proof the courts do not consider him a threat to his family. If these accusations were
00:15:02.700 true, I would be in jail. For months, Mr. Marino remained silent in the face of disturbing details
00:15:07.380 that emerged from court documents that alleged abuse against his daughter and granddaughter.
00:15:11.460 In recent days, he has been heavily criticized online for failing to call for Mr. Miller to
00:15:15.500 resign. Well, he has so far, and that's where we're currently at. So let's take a look right
00:15:21.220 now. This is Ohio House, Ohio District 7. Max Miller's a candidate. Brian Poindexter is the
00:15:29.140 challenger. Poindexter is running for election to represent Ohio's 7th congressional district.
00:15:35.260 He's on the ballot for November 3rd. He advanced in the primary in May. They say that he's got an
00:15:40.400 associate's degree from Cuyahoga Community College. And look at this picture they got. He's got a
00:15:45.140 hard hat. You see what they're going for there. You're a working class guy wearing a blue hoodie.
00:15:49.440 That's great marketing. That's great marketing. He beat out Ed Fitzgerald and a handful of others. 1.00
00:15:53.720 And I'm curious, his campaign themes, Poindexter received the following endorsements. Bernie Sanders, United She Stands Ohio Democratic Primary Sway Voting Group by Ashley Kinsvata. Uh-huh. Let's pull up Brian Poindexter. We got to get his comments on this one on X because, you know, he's basically going to be saying, like, get this dude out of there.
00:16:17.940 working class values i love the branding brian he's got he's wearing a hoodie he's doing uh is
00:16:25.580 he welding looks like he's welding he's got a hard hat on trying to represent uh i shouldn't
00:16:30.720 say trying but representing working class guy so he's got this commercial this is what he's what
00:16:36.440 he's all for pictures of his family i'm wondering if he has any comments on uh what's going on i
00:16:42.060 don't think so uh i noticed lots of new followers around here here's his ad uh union working class
00:16:47.580 guy. I'm just curious about what his policy positions are. So we should check out his
00:16:51.880 website. But they did have something on gun control, right? Okay, here we go.
00:16:59.100 No one credibly accused. All right, you lost me. Come on, Brian. I'm trying to be nice to you.
00:17:05.580 The phrase credibly accused is, again, a subjective qualifying adjective. I love that
00:17:10.900 manipulation. Check out to allsides.com. No one credibly accused of holding a gun to his wife's
00:17:17.020 and breaking their two-year-old daughter's collarbone
00:17:18.900 belongs in the halls of power.
00:17:20.620 Bro, I'm going to stop you right there.
00:17:23.840 All right, Brian, I'll sit down,
00:17:26.720 I'll have a conversation with you.
00:17:27.380 I'm willing to entertain what it is you represent,
00:17:29.960 you working class guy. 1.00
00:17:31.080 But come on, don't play these games. 1.00
00:17:33.140 Don't play these games.
00:17:35.400 Okay, if you wanted to say something like,
00:17:38.080 you know, Max Miller, here's what I'd say.
00:17:39.940 Here's what I'd say.
00:17:41.240 Max Miller has been accused by his ex-wife
00:17:42.900 of domestic abuse and harming and abusing their daughter.
00:17:47.020 I believe that regardless of the credibility of the accusations, this presents a conundrum for Max, who should drop out as we cannot have these types of accusations, accusations, stain our great state.
00:18:00.420 The Republican Party can put forward any other candidate and we can keep this civil.
00:18:04.900 That's how you do it.
00:18:06.960 I'm not saying I completely agree.
00:18:09.100 You know, I'm not saying someone should or should not win.
00:18:11.180 I'll be overtly biased and just say, right, I'd prefer the Republicans win in the long term.
00:18:16.360 But this is a house race. And, you know, let's do this. Let's pull up Brian's website.
00:18:27.040 And if Google lets me do it. What are you doing, Google?
00:18:34.060 And then we can take a look at some of his positions because he's endorsed by Bernie Sanders.
00:18:37.840 I'm going to go and say, like, oh, man, we're in trouble. All right. Let's see. We got on the
00:18:43.380 issues. The economy and cost of living. And no, we're not donating to you. We're just trying to
00:18:49.380 read. Working families are always asked to sacrifice. So is this OK? Nothing really being 1.00
00:18:55.100 ever. If you work, you should be able to afford to live with dignity, support your family and plan
00:18:58.480 for the future. I ain't got no beef with that. Let's see. Made in America. Here we go. I'm
00:19:04.780 digging this. Stop rewarding companies that ship jobs overseas. Dig it. Building at home strengthens
00:19:10.260 our economy and security. Completely agree. What about the weird culture war stuff, right?
00:19:16.220 Workers' rights. I'm a fan. I'm a fan. I like union organizing. I don't like unions. I think
00:19:21.380 the unions are like very crony, but I like collective bargaining. Respecting work and
00:19:26.420 respecting workers and sure. We'll see. I bet if you were to sit down with this guy and you ask
00:19:31.660 him about like weird culture war stuff, he's going to be wacky on a bunch of issues and vote for
00:19:35.480 weird stuff. But it looks like his campaign is largely just about workers and all that. So,
00:19:39.980 you know, I'll leave it where it is. But let's do this. I want to jump to we got this. This one's
00:19:46.080 obvious. We already mentioned this. We don't mention again, Democrats leading, but we know
00:19:48.600 they're a little bit weak. I'm actually more interested in where we're going with the election
00:19:52.860 and where we're going with electoral politics. Bill Malusian says the DOJ announces it is
00:19:58.100 monitoring polling sites in four Michigan cities for the state's primary election today, including
00:20:02.500 Detroit, Hamtram, Lansing, and East Lansing, DOJ says its civil rights division will monitor for
00:20:07.940 compliance with federal civil rights laws and to ensure ballot security and transparency.
00:20:12.680 DOJ has monitored poll sites for years in both Republican and Democratic administrations.
00:20:18.400 I'm going to put it like this, friends. I think that the procedural element of this midterm
00:20:23.140 election is more important, as you've heard me say it a million times. That is to say,
00:20:27.640 Trump deploying poll monitors in key primary races and potentially in November.
00:20:34.140 You know, Democrats are in trouble.
00:20:35.800 More importantly, with Trump's executive order on the on the Postal Service and delivery of
00:20:38.900 universal mail-in ballots, Trump is targeting this election from a procedural standpoint,
00:20:43.000 and Democrats don't have the favorability.
00:20:45.800 So they're in trouble.
00:20:47.660 You got James Carville saying he's going to quit over Hassan Piker.
00:20:50.280 You got Bill Maher saying that he's going to quit over the socialists.
00:20:55.220 Fetterman saying he's going to quit over Israel.
00:20:57.540 Prominent high-level Democrats and liberals saying no to the new wing of the Democratic
00:21:03.060 Party.
00:21:04.220 And I give you this.
00:21:05.860 I've covered the story quite a bit, but I want to get into this context.
00:21:09.840 The coming mortality cliff.
00:21:12.220 The markets continue to trade near all-time highs, even with significant investor worries
00:21:15.540 about a potential AI bubble developing, tariff impacts, and trade tensions.
00:21:20.420 All are valid concerns.
00:21:22.500 However, nothing is going to impact the economy and most likely the markets more than the coming mortality cliff over the long term.
00:21:28.520 The U.S. continues to age at an increasing rate.
00:21:31.360 I just got to I just got to stop. 1.00
00:21:32.700 That is probably the stupidest thing I have ever read. 1.00
00:21:36.440 Age at an increasing rate. 1.00
00:21:37.880 Aging is just time passing.
00:21:39.940 You can't age faster.
00:21:41.600 I guess technically you can arguably age faster if you're like blasting yourself with carcinogens.
00:21:46.420 But the point is.
00:21:48.280 People are aging as fast as they've always aged.
00:21:51.860 And the current birth rate is far below the replacement rate. 0.88
00:21:54.220 Combine this with mass re-migration.
00:21:56.460 2025 might go down as the first in American history where the population shrank year over year.
00:22:00.620 It didn't.
00:22:02.040 The article below examines.
00:22:03.960 Now, what I'm interested to hear is a couple of things.
00:22:06.500 The Argument magazine says, what happens to college towns after peak 18-year-old?
00:22:10.980 We're here, baby.
00:22:12.300 The mortality cliff is upon us.
00:22:14.120 Both of these stories from October.
00:22:16.220 18-year-olds.
00:22:17.620 So back in 2008, I should have had my first kid.
00:22:23.960 Or maybe not even necessarily then, but maybe like 2010, 2011.
00:22:27.780 So I'm 40.
00:22:29.380 So probably around between 22 and 25, I should have had my first kid.
00:22:32.860 If you're looking at historical trends, that's around the time people had their kids.
00:22:36.120 Well, I was sleeping on my friend's floor and then was busking in the subway for money
00:22:41.180 and helped my friends with some delivery of pitas.
00:22:45.660 Got a little bit of money doing that sometimes, but I was pretty broke.
00:22:49.320 I was fairly broke in my early 20s and I did nonprofit work, started to make a little bit
00:22:53.340 more money.
00:22:54.660 By 25, I had like formally started a career getting attention from media.
00:23:01.320 By 27, I actually had a job that paid a salary, but doing that job had me flying all over
00:23:07.440 the world.
00:23:07.860 So I wasn't really, you know, working on family stuff.
00:23:11.620 And then I'd argue that actually, you know, in my mid 30s, you know, my wife and I, we
00:23:16.920 were like, all right, let's let's let's plan.
00:23:18.240 But we never got around to it, like just for a variety of personal reasons.
00:23:21.520 But I think what most people know, it's like work, work, work.
00:23:25.840 We assume things would just happen.
00:23:27.540 We had to decide, hey, we want to have kids.
00:23:29.620 And now we have, you know, we have a daughter who's a year and a half.
00:23:32.980 Can you believe it's been a year and a half?
00:23:34.080 It's amazing.
00:23:35.700 Can't believe it.
00:23:36.340 Time flies.
00:23:37.180 The point is this.
00:23:38.660 If I had a kid, if I had had a kid, isn't that funny, when I was the appropriate age,
00:23:45.160 that kid would be 16, 17 years old right now, maybe even 18 if I was a little early.
00:23:50.140 Same thing is true for every other millennial.
00:23:51.640 We did not have kids.
00:23:53.280 So they're supposed to be entering college right now.
00:23:57.180 This is peak 18-year-old, meaning every year after this, there's going to be less and less
00:24:01.280 young people into the market.
00:24:03.140 Gen Alpha, whose oldest are 15 years old, 14, 15, 14, 15 years old, there's half of them
00:24:10.820 compared to Gen Z, half. 1.00
00:24:13.300 We are going to see a dramatic collapse in the youth, which means college towns, new 0.53
00:24:19.620 media, new art, ain't going to see it.
00:24:21.440 But here's the other thing.
00:24:23.460 Boomers are dying off too.
00:24:25.100 We are going to see a massive population collapse. 1.00
00:24:28.600 We're already seeing it with the young people.
00:24:31.200 Boomers are now 80.
00:24:32.980 So here's what I think to consider. 0.99
00:24:34.940 How is the market going to change?
00:24:36.780 And it is.
00:24:38.360 There's going to be a massive deflationary period if there is no intervention. 0.92
00:24:43.780 Because boomers hold wealth and wealth is nebulous, meaning like the value of a house 0.86
00:24:48.780 is determined by what someone's willing to pay for it and a tax assessment. 0.97
00:24:53.240 When boomers die off in large amounts, the value of those homes is going to go down
00:24:56.380 because young people aren't going to want to live in, you know, upstate New York. 0.85
00:25:00.860 They're going to want to live in New York City.
00:25:03.180 The value will collapse, which means the overall total wealth held by Americans is going to
00:25:07.940 collapse along with it because a lot of it's propped up in housing.
00:25:10.980 Stocks will be very similar.
00:25:12.800 People aren't going to be able to buy them, so the demand is going to be lower and supply
00:25:16.420 is going to remain the same.
00:25:18.400 This is going to cause massive deflationary periods.
00:25:23.000 But think about voting.
00:25:24.860 Boomers have a particular worldview and they tend to vote.
00:25:27.760 Right now, it's split. 0.64
00:25:28.940 The oldest boomers are Democrats.
00:25:31.620 OK, this is not what it's not where you thought it was going to go.
00:25:34.680 When we look at the voting by decade, there was only one anti-Trump demographic and it was 70 plus years old.
00:25:42.740 Gen X, I believe 40 to 49 was neutral.
00:25:46.140 But every other every other decade, you know, 20 to 29, 30 to 39.
00:25:51.140 They were somewhat pro-Trump.
00:25:54.000 We saw this from RealClearPolitics.
00:25:55.980 The oldest of boomers are anti-Trump.
00:25:58.040 And when they go.
00:25:59.700 It's going to get real interesting. 1.00
00:26:00.860 We have a short period where there's not enough young people like following Hassan to displace
00:26:05.480 politics. I think we're actually going to see a Trump resurgence. Trump's going to be the king
00:26:11.060 maker. He's going to be behind the scenes, not president, but he's going to be basically
00:26:14.040 making the endorsements, doing the rallies, even when he's like 83, 84. Maybe he retires,
00:26:19.440 who knows? But it's going to get real interesting real quick. Now, Axios has published an article
00:26:24.820 saying that doesn't matter who wins. Doesn't matter. They think Trump's key opposition,
00:26:30.540 they're bowing out. The key critics, the older folks, they're retiring, be it Democrat or
00:26:36.080 Republican. The Republican Party is now under Trump's thumb. They all want his endorsement
00:26:42.720 to win. And the Democrats are fighting themselves. And even if they do win in November,
00:26:48.820 it's going to be a slim majority and they won't be able to get anything done anyway.
00:26:52.480 If Republicans hold the Senate, nothing changes because Republicans can't get anything passed in
00:26:57.220 the House anyway. And if they do, the Senate blocks it, even if it's a Republican bill,
00:27:01.000 like the SAVE Act. In which case, interestingly enough, everything's coming on Milhouse. I mean,
00:27:08.840 for Trump, Trump's sitting pretty. Now, outside of this, I'm curious as to how Trump is going to
00:27:15.340 adapt to the other elements of the aging demographics. That is, boomers go, Social
00:27:21.980 Security gets weird. Gen Alpha is not enough workers to fund Social Security for Gen Xers 1.00
00:27:26.700 and younger boomers, so who's going to pay that? Social Security is expected to go insolvent by
00:27:31.560 2032, and what that means is it's only going to pay out what it can take in. Here's the problem
00:27:36.920 with that. If you've got 60 million boomers and you've got 45 million Gen Alpha, you're going to 1.00
00:27:45.200 have, what, one to two workers per boomer? Let's just also add into this. Gen Xers are getting 0.74
00:27:53.420 close to retirement age. I mean, you know, Phil, he's 50. I'm 40. But Gen Xers are getting up there. 1.00
00:28:02.940 So you're going to have a smaller and smaller youth generation that will not be doing the 0.95
00:28:07.760 labor to pay into Social Security and a large, look, Gen Xers are about 70 to 80, there's about
00:28:12.640 80 million of them. And boomers, I believe, are what, about 80 million right now as well,
00:28:17.060 because they were big. Yet the younger generation is just about the same size. So what are you
00:28:21.080 to get? One worker funding one Social Security recipient? I got a prediction for you. The
00:28:28.600 boomers are going to say, we demand it. And so they're going to say, tax them more. We already 0.94
00:28:35.380 see it. These young socialists are like, rich people should pay Social Security taxes cap.
00:28:40.220 They should uncap it. OK, well, the problem is you're still not going to make enough money.
00:28:43.720 They're going to do it, though. They're going to increase taxes across the board on everybody
00:28:47.080 because older folks are going to demand it.
00:28:49.360 There's not enough wealthy people in this country to offset that, though.
00:28:53.820 You've got 45 or so million jet alpha. 0.63
00:28:58.700 And you are going to need you need between three and four laborers paying taxes to pay
00:29:04.180 for one Social Security recipient.
00:29:07.300 So what do you do?
00:29:09.060 Honestly, don't know, my friends.
00:29:10.920 I honestly have no idea how you navigate yourself out of this one.
00:29:14.840 It's going to get real interesting real quick because we're at that mortality shelf right now.
00:29:18.820 The only thing I can say is deflation, unless there's some kind of intervention,
00:29:23.900 and they may try and pull off some institutional intervention
00:29:26.520 where they flood the numbers by the Federal Reserve, buy things up and create fake buyers.
00:29:31.760 I think that's what we were seeing with BlackRock, basically.
00:29:34.540 Nobody's buying houses anymore.
00:29:35.840 Nobody can afford it, and they want the prices to be propped up.
00:29:38.980 Then electorally, the oldest people were the most anti-Trump, and they're on the way out.
00:29:44.340 Maybe that's the real reason Trump won in 24. 0.92
00:29:47.600 I guess older folks are dying. 0.86
00:29:50.180 So we'll see. 0.99
00:29:51.100 I'm going to leave it there, my friends.
00:29:52.380 You tell me what you think.
00:29:53.180 Should Max Miller drop out?
