00:03:41.100 It's Pat and Stu for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. Sidney Powell no longer with the

00:03:46.420 the Trump legal team. Although, was she ever with the Trump legal team? There seems to be

00:03:53.060 some dispute over that. No one knows. No one knows. Nobody knows. Now, apparently she wasn't

00:03:57.520 getting paid by the Trump legal team. She seemed to be representing the Trump legal team. The Trump

00:04:02.160 legal team did say she was part of the Trump legal team several times. The president, President Trump

00:04:07.100 said that himself on November 14th. Yeah. And so everybody said, yeah, she's the head of the Trump

00:04:13.000 legal team. Did she just wander in? Is that what happened? Yeah. I guess anybody can just go in

00:04:18.400 and start speaking for the Trump legal team. It's kind of cool. It is a very strange development.

00:04:23.780 Obviously, there's been reporting of, you know, infighting behind the scenes. And then that seems

00:04:29.000 to be, it seems to be that Giuliani won the battle. I guess whatever power struggle was going on seems to

00:04:34.660 be won by Giuliani. I don't know if that's exactly right, but that seems to be what the reporting is

00:04:39.520 indicating. Either that or Sidney Powell was just like, she was getting coffee down

00:04:42.980 the hall and wandered into the press conference. They just let her talk. I don't know. Multiple

00:04:47.520 times. Yeah. Over and over again. It's a very strange development. It is weird. It is weird. And

00:04:54.440 from what I read, there seems to be some contention over the Dominion votes switching machines to

00:05:04.900 whether or not that actually happened. Right. Right. Yeah.

00:05:07.720 That's one way. Yeah. They have not presented it in court. No. I don't know why. We've been

00:05:14.940 talking about this. Well, because I don't think they have evidence to prove it in court, at least

00:05:18.300 at this time. She strongly says they do. You mean this woman who's not part of the legal team

00:05:23.140 says she? Yes. Yes. Again, we had her on the show. She's trying to present a case. It seems to be

00:05:29.380 that she's presenting a case that has no end game in court. Right? Like she's talking about

00:05:38.800 it as a lawyer in public, but is not talking about it in court. Now, again, I keep coming

00:05:43.520 back to the same thing. We don't have to litigate or understand their evidence. It is not our job

00:05:50.020 as citizens, as broadcasters, as people who are just trying to know the truth to be able to decipher

00:05:56.540 this stuff because this will be an issue that is fought in court. It's not an issue that is,

00:06:02.420 you don't overturn elections on social media. That is not how this occurs. Why? Didn't the

00:06:08.000 founders intend Twitter to decide these things? Well, they actually, in the constitution, it says

00:06:12.680 MySpace, but they were just a little, they were a little off on their timing. MySpace, it just didn't

00:06:17.660 work out. So, you know, this stuff, it's like, it's somewhat, it's just a bunch of talking points

00:06:23.380 for people to discuss on, you know, conservative media as to whether these things have truth or

00:06:28.580 not, or to share them on Facebook and everyone puts, throws their opinion in there. What happens

00:06:33.800 in reality when it comes to the campaign is what happens in court. And they have, you're right,

00:06:38.420 not filed anything to do with the Dominion voting machines in court because they don't have evidence

00:06:43.920 that would hold up in court, at least that they've revealed to anyone, including, by the way,

00:06:48.620 many high-ranking officials in the Trump administration who are telling people all over

00:06:53.100 the place as much as they can. She's given us no evidence of this. And as I was saying on my show,

00:06:58.620 Pat Gray Unleashed, which immediately precedes this. I love that show. It's so good. People are

00:07:04.000 just raving about it. Raving about it. No need of a recount on that one, Pat. No. But

00:07:10.800 they had me last week, as I think you know. Yes. For about 15 minutes, she had me. She had me. I was

00:07:19.420 kind of, I thought, okay, you don't present this strong a case to the American people if you don't

00:07:25.960 have something, right? No. Wrong. Apparently. I don't know. Maybe you do. But I was, I was really,

00:07:35.680 I was swayed for a while by what she was saying, that she had evidence that 7 million votes were

00:07:41.740 overturned. Well, and then you got nothing? It's, it's very strange. Right. Well, what we said at

00:07:49.120 the time was, if you go out and say these types of things without evidence, you're going to look 1.00

00:07:54.200 like an idiot, right? You're going to be looked, you're going to be. And it's going to hurt your 1.00

00:07:57.480 career. Right. And I mean, here we are three or four days later, and she's no longer on the legal

00:08:02.400 team. Or I mean, maybe she never was, but she's not on it now. We know that. Right. And the thing

00:08:07.740 I think that's appealing about the Dominion case over some of the stuff that Giuliani was talking

00:08:12.520 about that has, I think, real, some of it has credibility. I mean, you know, when you're talking

00:08:17.380 about not necessarily overturning elections, but election fraud, and that is important. I mean,

00:08:23.080 you go after that when you can find it. The thing about what was appealing to a lot of people

00:08:27.100 about the Sidney Powell angle is she presented something that, if true, could sway the election.

00:08:34.540 The stuff that Giuliani was talking about has a lot more likelihood of being true, but also a lot

00:08:39.740 less likelihood of overturning the election. When you talk about there's 20,000 votes here that

00:08:44.160 shouldn't have been counted. Well, that might actually be true, right? Yeah. But it's not enough.

00:08:48.220 But it's not going to overturn the election. Exactly. With Sidney Powell, I mean, Sidney Powell is

00:08:51.360 basically out there saying that Trump won in a landslide. And so you would need something that

00:08:56.860 systemic to overturn an election like this. Well, we heard that. We heard that she said he won in a

00:09:02.220 landslide. And then who was it that kind of repeated that in theory and took it a little bit further by

00:09:10.640 saying Trump actually won 410 electoral votes? Jeez. Wow. Including, I think they said, including

00:09:18.840 California. Wow. Yeah. So that's a massive victory. I know. For the president. When these things happen

00:09:26.640 and the stakes are this high, it's impossible to know what to trust. Yeah. Right. But what you can

00:09:33.300 know, right, is we have a Republican candidate who has basically unlimited resources to fight these

00:09:42.600 things. He can hire any lawyer that he wants. And those lawyers can bring to court cases that they

00:09:49.980 believe will overturn votes. If they're not doing that, there's a reason for it. If they're not

00:09:58.520 doing, if they're not bringing this echelon case, there's a reason for it. Now, there's another

00:10:02.680 possibility you could argue, I think, here, which is one of the issues that Trump legal campaign has had

00:10:08.620 is standing in these cases. Sometimes when you say, like, you know, you need to have legal standing

00:10:13.040 to bring these cases in front of the court. Right. And if Sidney Powell is the campaign attorney,

00:10:19.140 there might be an argument for some of these cases that it's not the Trump campaign that was wronged,

00:10:24.480 but maybe a particular voter. Maybe they're trying to come up with a legal separation so they can file

00:10:30.400 a case a certain way. Again, I'm pretty skeptical on all of this stuff. I think that's the best way to

00:10:35.740 start. And I keep saying to people, there's no reason for us to plan for a new Trump presidency.

00:10:41.000 Right. Like, let's just say Trump wins and they overturn this and he wins. Well, that's easy. Right.

00:10:45.140 We can all sit here and say, OK, our republic might be safe for the next four years, whatever you think

00:10:49.320 on that issue. Right. It's easy to plan for good news. I'm worried that like right now we're doing

00:10:54.840 nothing to prepare for a Biden presidency when we're just keep we keep talking constantly about this.

00:11:01.040 That's right. Like, for example, you know, this is the they what you'll hear is a chief of staff.

00:11:06.000 Don't give up. Keep the faith. All those things. But like, again, our faith has little to do with

00:11:11.440 the election. It has nothing to do with it. Right. It happens in court. The attorney, the attorneys

00:11:15.400 will go to court and file these things. And what will happen in court will happen. That's what I

00:11:19.520 keep doing. And we will be completely separate in this. We have no say in it. None. We had our

00:11:23.340 say on Election Day. Right. That was our role here. And if this is going to change, it's going

00:11:28.920 to be in the courts. As Rudy Giuliani talked about, as former or maybe never campaign attorney

00:11:36.920 Sidney Powell has talked about, this is a legal, as Jenna Ellis has talked about, this is a legal

00:11:41.980 procedure at this point. So we don't have any role in that part. What we do have a role in

00:11:46.760 is looking at what could happen down the future or in the future. I mean, you know, Biden has

00:11:51.400 named a chief of staff, a secretary of state. It looks like, you know, you haven't seen the

00:11:56.580 typical conservative reaction to those things because no one's looking at it. You know, he's

00:12:01.320 he Biden in a way, in a weird way, if you're a Biden administration, and once again, this

00:12:06.800 is working in his favor as he's coming into potentially coming into office here, he is

00:12:12.240 getting no scrutiny on any of these picks on any of these developments because there's

00:12:18.400 a large portion of people that are, you know, Sidney Powell, who are just saying like, oh,

00:12:23.880 well, we're going to win. So don't worry about it. And it's like, well, we do have to worry

00:12:26.660 about it because if Trump comes back and wins, that's easy. There's no need for us to be worried

00:12:32.520 about that scenario. That's an easy one. Like we just continue as we are. But if Biden comes

00:12:37.720 in and he has no scrutiny on any of this stuff, who's going to point it out? You think the

00:12:42.280 you think, you know, ABC News tomorrow is going to do a deep dive into the new secretary of

00:12:46.560 state pick for Joe Biden? That's not going to happen. No. If we don't do it, no one's

00:12:51.720 going to do it. Right. And 73 million people are just all counting on Sidney Powell right

00:12:57.620 now. Except that one of the people who isn't is Donald Trump, apparently.

00:13:01.360 Right. After all this. Who just said goodbye to her. They are distancing themselves from

00:13:07.660 her. Yes. There is there is talk that the rest of his legal team doesn't buy into the

00:13:14.640 Dominion switching thing that it didn't happen. So if you've got the Trump legal team kind

00:13:23.100 of split on that issue, that's not a good sign. Probably. No, it probably isn't. It's probably

00:13:30.960 not a good sign. No. Well, look, it's tough. It's a tough one to decipher because you have

00:13:36.220 an impossible situation because, I mean, let's go to the you go to the extreme here and let's

00:13:41.480 say they did. They find evidence that 10 million votes were cast and switched. Right. They come

00:13:49.080 up with the evidence. It's proven. And, you know, they overturn the results. We're at a point

00:13:53.960 where we almost don't have a republic like a republic is not. You don't have a legitimate

00:13:59.200 republic if you have the possibility of 10 million votes being switched. Yeah. Right.

00:14:04.620 Yeah. We basically don't have a country at that point. And we're starting from scratch

00:14:08.240 because obviously we all know. I mean, look, the most minor thing, you know, and Jemima

00:14:14.180 leaves their logo on the box and the left will riot. You can't. They do that every every

00:14:19.020 10 seconds. Of course, they would riot, but they would riot for any reason. But like when

00:14:23.560 you go to the point of like if that think about the possibility of that world where we

00:14:29.320 find out 10 million votes have been switched, we have absolutely no system of government.

00:14:35.160 We are completely a fraudulent nation at that point. You know, and it's you know, it's tough

00:14:42.500 to even know whether that's something you want to argue for. Because honestly, like if it's

00:14:48.060 true, I want it out 100 percent. And we have to deal with the consequences of that. But

00:14:53.440 gosh, that's a scary reality. If the reality is we can have a presidential election where

00:14:58.880 10 million votes have been switched. Yeah. When and no one picks this up. We are in a

00:15:04.980 totally different world than we imagine we are. And it's not a positive one. Yeah, no

00:15:10.440 question. Well, and she said that that's what those machines were created to do. Yeah. 0.87

00:15:15.440 Which is kind of strange that we then ordered them here in the United States of America.

00:15:20.620 Right. And yeah, give us the ones where you can switch the votes that people make.

00:15:26.420 Let's buy those. Yeah. That's not a good idea. A lot of Republicans in on that one, too.

00:15:32.960 And like it's like it's just such a strange, you know, and we know the one thing we do know

00:15:38.180 is in Georgia, right? Georgia, because people had questions about these digital voting situations,

00:15:44.260 Republicans pushed hard for paper records of each vote. So you go in there, you take you cast your

00:15:51.440 vote. It spits out a paper ballot that then you as a voter look at and say, yes, that says Trump.

00:15:56.560 Right. Then you then you slide it through the machine that gets confirmed and then that gets

00:16:02.280 stored away. So if they want to do a separate paper recount, they can. So they went through that

00:16:07.420 and the paper recount, with the exception of about a thousand votes across the entire

00:16:12.620 state, matched up pretty much exactly. I mean, it was it was I think it was not eleven hundred

00:16:18.640 or nine hundred votes. And that was picked up in one of their re-canvas operations. Bottom line

00:16:23.680 is that at least there, those machines seem to to to operate successfully. Doesn't mean they

00:16:31.740 did that everywhere. Yeah. But, you know, it's an indication. And those are again, Republican

00:16:36.300 like hardcore Trump supporters pushed those those changes through in a good way. I mean,

00:16:41.740 it's I think it's a good thing that we have those backups. I'm actually surprised sometimes

00:16:45.360 at how many backups we have in this situation. Yeah, there's a lot there. Actually, I didn't

00:16:50.540 know we had that many systems. Yeah. That many backup systems. Right. I had no idea. Yeah.

00:16:55.560 So, I mean, we've seen we've seen elections overturned recently. There was one in North

00:17:01.120 Carolina just a couple of years ago that was overturned because of election fraud. It does

00:17:05.260 happen. It does. It's just never happened on a national scale. Not and not a scale like

00:17:10.700 this. Right. I mean, you know, this is the you know, this would be the as Tucker Carlson

00:17:14.020 pointed out correctly, this would be the biggest crime in American history. No question. No

00:17:19.120 question. Yeah. So you got it. You got to have evidence of that. And, you know, I think

00:17:23.000 what the Trump legal team is saying, Sidney Powell is not presenting evidence of this.

00:17:28.500 They're not comfortable with it. And if they're not comfortable with it, we shouldn't be comfortable

00:17:31.420 with it. 888-727-BECK. More coming up in 60 seconds.

00:17:40.440 So no matter what goes on in the world, there are two things we can count on new music, new

00:17:44.860 podcasts, and the best way to listen, using a pair of premium wireless earbuds, especially

00:17:50.760 if you can get them at less than half the price of the other guys. And I'm talking

00:17:54.280 Apple. That's why I recommend and use wireless earbuds from Raycon. Raycon's newest model,

00:18:00.760 the everyday E25 earbuds, the best ones yet, with six hours of playtime and seamless Bluetooth

00:18:06.960 pairing. You'll get more bass than in previous models, a noise isolating fit that really allows

00:18:33.620 nuts. Limited time, 15% off Raycon wireless earbuds by Raycon.com slash Beck. Raycon.com slash Beck.

00:18:41.000 It's Pat and Stu for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program, 888-727-BECK. Just kind of kicking around

00:19:02.240 the election and whether or not it's going to be overturned. You know, if it were to be overturned,

00:19:08.880 and this is no reason not to pursue it, but if it were to be overturned, can you imagine?

00:19:14.520 No. It'd be worth it because I don't want Joe Biden. And I want, well, more than that. I don't

00:19:19.640 want the truth. And you want the election to be, you want it to be a true election. You want it to be

00:19:25.220 the will of the American people. And so if they did steal it, you want it put back where it should be.

00:19:32.620 Uh, but man, there, there would be some, there'd be some discontent in this country.

00:19:39.560 That's a, might be a bit of an understatement. Yeah. Uh, there's discontent now and none of this

00:19:44.400 stuff, you know, like it hasn't been overturned. Oh man. You know, look, they said, they said,

00:19:51.480 Sidney Powell said on this show, though she's apparently not on the legal team, but she did say

00:19:54.700 on this show. Yeah. That. Was she on the legal team Friday when she said it? I don't know the answer

00:19:59.320 to that. No, we don't know. She's, she's, what was the quote? I loved it. It was like, she's

00:20:03.400 practicing law on her own. Yes. She's just hanging out. That was just practicing some law. She's just

00:20:12.520 no big deal. Um, but, uh, there's this idea that, you know, that if this all goes through, you know,

00:20:21.140 there's going to be this big change in the election. And again, I think that you can look at that and

00:20:25.100 say, uh, you know, you can look at what Rudy Giuliani said as well. During that press conference,

00:20:29.660 Rudy Giuliani said, we have a tough time constraint. He's very aware of the time constraints going on.

00:20:34.700 Uh, however, yeah, uh, Michigan and Pennsylvania are both certified today, today, today. So, you know,

00:20:42.520 but I mean, he's told, told us, uh, you know, he told in the press conference, Sidney Powell said to us,

00:20:46.720 they know the time constraints. They know how it's a tough road, right? However, as Rudy Giuliani said,

00:20:51.840 they can prove this 18 different ways. So, wow. So he's got to pick one of those 18 and go to court

00:20:57.600 with it. Right. Let's do it. And if he does that, well, you know, great. Like we're closer to the

00:21:01.940 truth if the truth comes out that way. But we, to, to prepare for that at this point is it's not,

00:21:09.140 there's no necess, there's not really a need for the American people to be litigating this. This is

00:21:14.480 the, the, the campaigns, uh, job. And they said they can prove it. They said they know the time

00:21:20.680 constraints. They said they know how difficult it was and they said they will prove it.

00:21:24.140 Interestingly, they've said that. And yet they've not presented that case yet in any court case.

00:21:29.420 They have not yet created or, or presented the case where there was massive fraud.

00:21:35.820 That's not even what they've been arguing in court yet. Yeah. You know, you go through the,

00:21:40.280 they have not even brought up the dominium machines. No. In court. They've, now they found,

00:21:44.000 they, they've talked, they found witnesses that have talked about election irregularities. Yes.

00:21:49.500 And, but the widespread, massive vote switching situation, they have not brought up in court.

00:21:56.280 Yeah. And, you know, again, it's tough. It's a tough ask to, for a legal team to put this together

00:22:01.140 in such a short time. It's the system that we have. And, you know, you look at, you know,

00:22:07.000 Giuliani made a big deal about how people were saying there's no evidence. And he's like,

00:22:10.020 I have all these affidavits. And that's true. Like he does have affidavits. And technically that is

00:22:14.220 evidence. By the same standard, there was, there was evidence against Brett Kavanaugh,

00:22:18.500 right? I mean, there were people who testified in a court of law or, or in front of, not in the

00:22:25.000 court of law, actually, which was an interesting, uh, uh, you know, addendum to that. But so there

00:22:30.140 are differences, but people who testified that, you know, in front of Congress, that this was

00:22:35.140 accurate and that he did all these things, you know, I, to me, getting a couple of people to say

00:22:39.720 something is one thing to get this sort of scale is another. So they do have people who are saying

00:22:45.460 that there was election fraud. And I think that is something legitimate to look into. Uh, but again,

00:22:50.560 we are seeing the, the internal disc discourse, uh, flattening out a little bit here in, inside the

00:22:56.800 Trump campaign and inside the Trump administration. And that's not going to give you a increased hope

00:23:01.920 that this is going to actually get overturned.

00:23:13.920 Pat and Stu for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program, 888-727-BECK.

00:23:22.420 Uh, here in Texas, in Tarrant County, they've issued an urgent stay at home warning. It's urgent.

00:23:29.780 This is an emergency city of Fort Worth, Tarrant County have issued formal requests asking residents

00:23:35.800 to stay at home and drastically limit social interactions to help combat the record breaking

00:23:43.400 surge in COVID-19 cases. I love it when they say it's an all-time record. Yeah. This has been going

00:23:48.940 on since March. I mean, it's an all-time record whole time. This has never happened all time. Yeah.

00:23:56.520 It's, it's been six months. Okay. That's, uh, it's kind of a weird way to put it, but they claim

00:24:02.440 record numbers. And I guess in Texas from the beginning till now, we've had over a million

00:24:07.100 infections and we were the first state to get there. We're number one. Yay. We are number one. I

00:24:12.620 mean, the, the, the, the, all these stats are always misleading for one specific reason.

00:24:16.680 The first outbreak, we didn't have any testing, so we couldn't detect the cases. So you were

00:24:22.520 basically saying the, the, the, a big, the biggest record since very recently, like not even March.

00:24:28.620 That's true. They're not going back there. That's true. Cause maybe we've been testing at this rate

00:24:32.200 since September. Oh, and no. October. And it's even higher, way higher than then. Uh, you know,

00:24:38.060 the, the testing has been again, uh, a, a, uh, something that was criticized early in March,

00:24:45.540 basically. And has since then been an incredible success story. I mean, if you look at, uh, the,

00:24:50.400 the, the, the number of tests that we're doing every day back in the summer, we were doing about

00:24:55.480 800,000 tests a day. So that was back in March, we're doing like literally like zero or a few

00:25:01.640 hundred a day at the beginning of this. Then we got up to 800,000 by that summer second wave that

00:25:07.300 they call it. Uh, when Texas, Arizona, Florida were kind of in the news a lot. Right. Um, we did,

00:25:12.360 we did 2 million tests the other day, 2 million. In a day? Yeah. More than double the summer peaks.

00:25:18.980 Wow. Which is really an incredible accomplishment. Uh, so you're seeing that, uh, some of the

00:25:25.620 increase is always testing. It's like when you look at, you go back in people's, uh, well, you

00:25:30.520 know, people, uh, when you, when you don't adjust a number for inflation, right? You take a number

00:25:35.020 from the 1950s, an economic number and talk about it today and you don't adjust it for inflation.

00:25:39.780 It's an, it's disingenuous argument. The same thing is happening here with the COVID stats,

00:25:43.960 right? Because you're talking about double, triple numbers from relatively recently.

00:25:48.980 So part of this increase is due to testing. That's why the, the, the records are being hit

00:25:55.240 every day. On the other hand, we also are seeing an increase until only the last few days of test

00:26:01.300 positive percentage. So they're doing all these tests, but the test, the, the, the number of the

00:26:07.100 percentage of tests coming back positive has increased significantly. So, I mean, I think it's,

00:26:11.600 it's probably the right answer that we are in the middle of another one of these waves. I mean,

00:26:16.360 you're seeing it for sure in hospitalizations, which are the highest by a pretty large margin

00:26:20.240 and either one of these spikes. It's an all-time record.

00:26:22.620 And that one is an all-time record, although again, since March, right? Right. I mean,

00:26:27.620 and that's the difference with this, this, this sort of wave of COVID and the two previous ones

00:26:33.120 is it's not very localized. So we're not getting the intense craziness of a New York city that we

00:26:39.940 have, right? We're just getting, uh, not even in New York city, not even their numbers are up.

00:26:44.560 Their numbers are up. Yep. And they've closed all their schools, but even like North Dakota and South

00:26:49.080 Dakota, which have really high per million numbers right now, even though there's only four people

00:26:53.360 who live in those States combined. I don't know if people know that Christie gnome is there and

00:26:56.620 there's three other people. Uh, but, uh, so the numbers per million are very high there,

00:27:01.340 but again, it's spread out all around the country where you're seeing increases and, and look,

00:27:07.480 they're going to freak out over this. There's a couple of reasons for that. They of course

00:27:11.060 want to turn that into a control situation. Yep. There is legitimate concern. And also they,

00:27:17.400 they want to cover there. There's a CYA situation going on here. They're, they're covering their

00:27:21.680 butts here. Trying to, if they don't come out with the most panicky of panicked things to say,

00:27:26.440 and they don't tell everyone to never, don't even, don't even forget Thanksgiving dinner with

00:27:30.160 your family. Don't even eat Turkey. Turkey might have coronavirus on it. If they don't say that,

00:27:34.620 then they look there. They look like they were too easy on the problem. They weren't taking it

00:27:40.240 seriously, but they've gotten absolutely ridiculous telling people, uh, don't have anybody for

00:27:46.200 Thanksgiving except the people who live with you. In fact, don't even eat with the people who live

00:27:53.120 with you, have it in separate rooms, go outside. I come on. The people in Northern climates are gonna, 0.99

00:28:01.500 are gonna go outside for Thanksgiving dinner when it's 38 degrees. Okay. 38, if you're lucky. Yeah.

00:28:07.780 If you're lucky. I mean, I've, we've had, uh, I remember back living up North, there were days a

00:28:12.400 lot colder than 38 degrees. Yes. I don't know what it's going to be like this, this year. I haven't

00:28:15.920 looked at any of the Northern weather. I mean, it's, if it's an option for you in Texas, which it is

00:28:20.520 supposed to be 71 here on Thanksgiving. Yeah. That sounds like a fantastic day to sit outside and have,

00:28:25.740 and have Thanksgiving dinner. There's some places where you could do that. It's not an option up North.

00:28:29.820 I mean, they're telling you not to travel. I, I just saw a story on CNN. People are traveling

00:28:35.120 anyway. Well, of course they are. They're not going to just stay home. Cause you said you

00:28:42.200 shouldn't travel. They're going to travel. They're going to go to their relatives. They're

00:28:46.540 going to go home and see their families on Thanksgiving. It's going to happen. You know

00:28:50.540 what? It happened in 1918 when there was a far worse pandemic than today. It was a far more

00:28:59.100 virulent and, and much worse technology on the medical side to get to, to alleviate

00:29:03.900 it. Yeah. You know? Yes. And there was no hope of a quick vaccine. In fact, I mean,

00:29:10.660 we do have a vaccine now for that kind of flu. Pretty much. That's the flu shot I think

00:29:14.360 that you get every year. Yeah. Not incredibly effective. Oh, that's the thing about that

00:29:18.400 though. Like this is your, you pointed out, we, it's only, this has only been going on

00:29:22.000 since March. This is year one of this COVID thing. Who knows what it looks like in the

00:29:26.100 future. It's year 102 for the Spanish flu. It still sucks. Yeah. In a year 102, it still

00:29:32.600 sucks. And in 1918 and 1919 and 1920, people were actually having Thanksgiving dinner 0.52

00:29:38.860 together. They, you know, they were just getting through the war to end all wars.

00:29:44.560 They were celebrating that. They weren't going to stop everything for this, for that

00:29:47.700 pandemic. And it was bad. It was worse than this. And, and there were some closures.

00:29:53.260 There were some school closures and they were closing some restaurants and bars.

00:29:56.980 Um, but they had Thanksgiving together anyway. And, and that's what people are going to do

00:30:04.380 this time. Yeah. I think there would be, there's this idea that what government should do is

00:30:09.560 mandate a bunch of crazy things. And then in addition to that, go and say, okay, well, look,

00:30:17.080 we have a mandate in place and we're going to tell you to do all these crazy things. And we're

00:30:22.020 going to try to prevent every activity that you are, uh, dealing with, you know, if it's

00:30:27.900 Thanksgiving, we don't want you to have it. We want you to bring separate utensils. We want all

00:30:31.260 these crazy pieces of advice when like, there probably is like sensible things that you could

00:30:35.500 be advising. And if the people actually trusted the government because they were giving reliable

00:30:40.080 advice and information routinely, then you might be able to make a difference. Like there was some

00:30:45.300 study that came out of, I think it was Japan where they took a room and they filled it with

00:30:50.640 smoke and they thought, how long is it going to take for the smoke to dissipate in the room?

00:30:54.780 Okay. With one door open. And it was like something like 45 minutes. It would eventually

00:30:59.660 circulate out of the room. If you opened up two doors, right? You had a cross ventilation.

00:31:04.400 Yeah. Right. It, it lowered to like, I don't know. It was like 11 minutes. I'm making these

00:31:10.100 numbers. I don't remember the exact numbers, but it was significantly different. And even if you

00:31:14.640 only had one and every room has two openings, right? You might not be and have that option,

00:31:18.620 but if you do, right? And then the weather's not freezing outside, opening windows, all that stuff

00:31:22.760 makes a huge difference when it comes to something like this. Ventilation, scientists go back to this

00:31:26.600 over and over again. Ventilation is a huge part of this. It's important. Huge part. But they did the

00:31:32.400 thing where they just took a fan, a normal like floor fan that you'd have in your room and pointed

00:31:38.320 it essentially out of the room. And it cut the, the, the, the way the, you know, to get the smoke

00:31:45.260 to dissipate, cut it from like 45 minutes to like 18. And when they took a second fan and they kind

00:31:50.740 of just blew it into the room. So you had two fans, one blowing in on the bottom, one blowing out on

00:31:54.520 the top. It's cut it to like 10 minutes, something like that. It decreased the amount of time that it's

00:32:01.460 just about air circulation. That's why outside is so much better. You have better ventilation. So doing

00:32:06.860 things like that, that people might actually do, you throw a fan on in the corner of the room,

00:32:10.400 if you thought it would help, right? Like, why not? It doesn't, it's not doing anything to you.

00:32:13.980 It's not like I need to break up my family to get through this thing that most people survive.

00:32:19.540 But Hey, if you've got somebody in your, in your home, that's particularly old or particularly 0.99

00:32:23.280 vulnerable, I think people would throw on a fan in the corner. Maybe that would help

00:32:26.780 instead of giving things that, you know, basic things that might actually make a difference

00:32:30.960 and are doable for people. It's like, no, let's just ban Thanksgiving.

00:32:34.380 Right. No one is going to listen to that. It's silly. And let the people decide. Like

00:32:42.440 if you have somebody who's really high risk, all right, take care of that person or that

00:32:47.960 person takes care of themselves. Right. We're adults. Right. And so I think we can make that

00:32:53.640 determination on our own. And that's what's happening too. It is what's happening because

00:32:59.080 nobody wants to get it. I mean, if they get it, they get it. And if they don't, they try not to,

00:33:05.260 but of course, you know, they're not going to, they're not going to completely upend their lives

00:33:09.900 not to get it. I think in most cases for people who aren't high risk. Yeah. Right. I know. Like

00:33:15.180 if you have a person who's in your family, who's old and, or has, you know, coming off of a terrible

00:33:21.020 illness. Yeah. Then sure. You're going to take precautions. You're going to take precautions. And that's what

00:33:24.600 people are doing, by the way. Yes. I, none of this needs to be in the form of a government mandate.

00:33:31.720 And what we're finding over and over again is that government mandates make almost no difference.

00:33:36.980 Almost no difference. You know, people don't listen to them. Did you see the Denmark survey?

00:33:43.220 Oh yeah. The study they did? Is this the mask one or is this the- Yeah. On the masks. Yeah.

00:33:47.180 Where it made almost no difference. Yeah. Almost no difference. They had a control group too. And so it was

00:33:51.740 pretty scientific. They had 3,000 people and a control group. Yeah. So there's a slight

00:33:56.440 improvement for people who wore masks, though it was not statistically significant. It was

00:33:59.760 2.1% of the people who didn't wear masks got COVID. 1.8% of those who did wear masks got

00:34:07.860 COVID. 0.3% difference, not even statistically significant difference. It's within the margin

00:34:14.940 of error. Right. And they did go out of their way to say that that doesn't mean, you know,

00:34:18.440 the whole like you're protecting someone else when you're wearing your mask thing. Like

00:34:21.460 they didn't study that at all. But still, it's another data point. You know, I go to this idea

00:34:28.280 that the science has to be remarkably clear for the government to ever create a mandate. I would

00:34:35.820 argue against them all the time because that's just from a personal liberty standpoint. I don't

00:34:39.440 like them. But I mean, if the government's going to mandate something, it should be so crystal

00:34:44.420 clear. Right. Yes.

00:34:46.400 And so essentially, the standard must be high for the government to do this. And it should,

00:34:52.020 I mean, it might be low for you to do it on your own. Right. You don't need to have 100% proof that

00:34:56.380 a mask might help for you to do it on your own. If you think it might help a little bit, maybe you

00:34:59.380 do it. We've got some great news for you because I know you're a big Governor Cuomo fan. Andrew Cuomo,

00:35:05.360 you love him. So you're going to be excited that he just won an Emmy for his COVID press

00:35:10.260 conferences. We'll get into that coming up in a second. No. Yeah. Andrew Cuomo actually won

00:35:18.980 an Emmy for his COVID press conferences. That's amazing. And we've got some reaction to that

00:35:24.360 from New Yorkers, which is kind of fun. That's coming up in here in a second.

00:36:56.520 You're listening to Glenn Beck.

00:37:01.400 Hey, it's Pat and Stu for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. 888-727-B-E-C-K. What are your thoughts

00:37:07.060 on the vaccine? Stu, are you going to take the vaccine when it comes out? I mean, just inject

00:37:11.440 me right now. Right now? Yes, I am. I'm actually- Are you okay with the vaccine? I love needles.

00:37:15.860 That's why I started heroin, Pat. And I chose that one over crack because I really liked the needle

00:37:20.000 aspect of it. No, I mean, I am really optimistic. I've come to the point now where the only way I

00:37:25.860 actually see us going back to normal is this thing working. Yeah. I'm no longer, you know, at the point

00:37:31.300 where I think there's a way we're going to mask ourselves into low enough rates for the economy to open.

00:37:37.060 There's no way. You know, I mean, I'm not saying I was ever there with masks, but you know what I

00:37:40.320 mean? There's a theory that like maybe you could get it low enough where you could open up. It's

00:37:44.340 going to keep raging back into our lives until we come up with a way to come up with essentially

00:37:49.060 a technological solution to eliminate it among enough people that it's not really that big of a

00:37:53.820 problem. And it sounds like with the Pfizer and Moderna, 94 and a half and 95%. Incredible if that holds up.

00:38:03.960 That's incredible if that's accurate. It's really promising. And, you know, we haven't seen any

00:38:09.560 side effects. We've seen equal results with older people and younger people, which is a really,

00:38:14.080 which is a really big deal with something like this, obviously, especially with this particular

00:38:17.660 virus. So, you know, we don't know for sure. We're still kind of judging off of press releases.

00:38:23.840 So we don't know. But if it comes to make it worse for me is if they mandate it, because then I'm not

00:38:29.020 going to want to do it. I don't want to do it because really, if it's this, if it's really 90,

00:38:33.900 95% effective, which I assume is probably higher than it will end up. But still, let's say it's 80%

00:38:39.360 effective. Yeah. If that if that happens, you don't need to force anyone to take it. Right. You

00:38:43.720 will. There will be enough people that take it. Yeah. You probably have 15 to 20% of people who

00:38:48.160 have already had it. Right. Like myself, I'm a COVID-19 survivor. That's right. Yeah. And then

00:38:52.900 you have as well as a Canadian sports hero. Right. Both of those things. I am. Yeah. And then in

00:38:57.040 addition to that, you have, let's say, half the country's the polls are right. And half the country

00:39:02.260 says, I'll take it and half doesn't. Even if you do that, you're still at 50 to 60% of people who are

00:39:08.920 immune from the virus, which is enough to make the spread so much slower. Yeah. That it wouldn't it

00:39:15.560 wouldn't be something you need. It would eventually eradicate it mostly like like measles, you know,

00:39:20.500 to the point where measles is eradicated. And the bottom line is, if it's 90% effective and you go

00:39:25.500 through that first wave of people taking the vaccine and it's OK, like people don't just start

00:39:30.820 keeling over for, you know, some side effect, then people will be convinced to start taking it just

00:39:35.440 like they were with measles. Right. I mean, like for all the controversy around vaccines, when it comes

00:39:39.240 to the MMR vaccine and all these things, the overwhelming majority of people still get it for their

00:39:43.500 kids. Right. You know, so. And you have to sometimes for to get them into school. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

00:39:49.380 It's true. And so I hope it's not a forced thing because that does not make it, you know, I hope it's

00:39:53.940 just let let people make their own freaking decisions. Yes, please. And if it's successful,

00:39:57.560 people will will take it. I mean, no one wants to deal with this. And we don't want a situation where

00:40:02.700 people are threatening lockdowns every two days. Yeah. We want a path out of that. And I think this could

00:41:10.220 This is the Glenn Beck program.

00:41:14.200 So let me take the actual history of built bar because Glenn's a revisionist on this. Okay.

00:41:18.640 My wife discovered it. He's like, Oh, Tanya talked about it. She found it. My wife discovered it and

00:41:24.080 told Tanya about built bar. Uh-huh. And my wife loved it. Then Tanya loved it. Then there was a large,

00:41:29.640 long gap of Glenn thinking he would never eat a protein bar. Yeah. And finally, I'm trying to

00:41:34.940 come to grips with the fact that Glenn changed a story. Yeah. It's shocking. Wow. It is. It is

00:41:41.220 amazing. Uh, but these are, uh, low calorie, high protein bars. That doesn't sound sexy to, uh, to

00:41:48.640 some in the audience. Like, you know, if I heard that, I'd be like, well, I don't want to eat that,

00:41:51.900 but it's like a candy bar. It basically like, and they have amazing flavors, you know,

00:41:55.420 like stuff that takes like, you know, chocolate coconut and chocolate mint and, you know,

00:42:01.080 all these crazy flavors. They release new ones all the time. You got to try it. Uh, go to built

00:42:30.620 Glenn Beck Program.

00:43:00.620 Uh, all right. We promised the, uh, the Andrew Cuomo video. There's a New Yorker reacting to

00:43:12.180 Andrew Cuomo winning an Emmy for his COVID press conferences. Uh, we're going to share that with

00:43:17.760 you coming up in about 60 seconds. This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:43:23.960 Well, Glenn Beck, of course, couldn't be bothered with showing up for work this week,

00:43:30.100 even though the rest of us have to slave away through the holidays. That's us. You're heroes.

00:43:34.800 Pat and Stu. Uh, yeah, he's at home hanging out with his family and grilling on the rec tech.

00:43:39.040 He's become kind of obsessed with it ever since he got it a while back. Uh, you know, for a guy,

00:43:42.400 he used to burn everything that he touched and, uh, you know, Glenn has some real ability in the

00:43:47.040 kitchen. Uh, his mashed potatoes are historic. His, his hot chocolate is epic. Absolutely epic.

00:43:53.840 Epic hot chocolate. However, uh, he never was a guy, you don't think of him as like,

00:43:57.920 I'm a manly man out of the grill. That's not, no, Glenn Beck at all. However, the science and

00:44:03.360 the technology behind rec tech is so great. Uh, even Glenn can do it right. Uh, he even talked

00:44:09.340 about doing the Thanksgiving turkey on the rec tech. I don't know how that works, but, uh, you know,

00:44:13.240 I think a lot of the, a lot of people be interested in that. Uh, you can do that. It is, uh, it is

00:44:18.260 amazing. It grills, it smokes, it even bakes, and it gives the food you cook on it. The most

00:44:22.400 amazing, delicious flavor rec tech, and it has great technology too. You can do all this stuff

00:45:00.740 All right. Andrew Cuomo, one of the greatest governors in the history of our nation. Am I

00:45:08.400 right? No, you are not right. I will not play along with this. That's how he's, that

00:45:13.800 is how he's promoted though. Oh, and he promotes himself that way. He wrote a book about, about

00:45:18.840 his response to COVID-19 where he killed thousands of people. Infuriating, infuriating. And we

00:45:24.800 don't know, by the way, how many thousands he's killed because he will not release the

00:45:29.400 numbers of how many people died in nursing homes, which is an incredible thing. And I'm, it

00:45:34.400 is unique in the nation. There's a lot of left wing governors out there who are honest

00:45:40.180 about how many people have died in their, in their states. Some people who even adopted

00:45:44.940 some of the same crappy policies as Cuomo, but at least they're telling you how many people

00:45:49.340 died in their nursing homes. He won't even do that. He won't even do that, which is an

00:45:52.800 incredible thing. I mean, you know, and then the work he made to make it even worse. He uses

00:45:58.120 the lower numbers that he has from nursing home deaths because he does not reveal the

00:46:04.180 actual total. And then he uses that as a defense for the way he handled it. So, I mean, he,

00:46:09.840 this is not conservative. This is all known. Like the Associated Press has confirmed. This

00:46:15.820 is the only state in the country doing this. Basically what they're doing is saying, if you

00:46:19.700 die in a nursing home, they count it as a nursing home death. If you're in a nursing home

00:46:23.500 and you get really sick and you start coughing and you're about to die and they bring the,

00:46:26.660 then the ambulance to the hospital, uh, bring the patient to the hospital in the ambulance

00:46:31.200 and then they die in the hospital, Andrew Cuomo wasn't counting that as a nursing home

00:46:35.340 death. Now, obviously that's ridiculous, right? It's a nursing home resident who may have died 0.96

00:46:40.100 in the, in an ambulance on the way to the hospital seconds after leaving the nursing home. And he's

00:46:45.220 like, oh, that's not a nursing home death. They weren't inside the nursing home when they

00:46:47.720 died. So the estimates are that it's about a hundred percent more deaths in nursing homes,

00:46:54.520 about double the amount, at least in nursing homes than he's actually disclosing. And because he has

00:46:59.520 this number that is half of the reality, he's able to say, well, my rate is lower than 30 other states.

00:47:05.400 It's only lower than 30 other states because you're lying about the amount, which is not a

00:47:10.720 conservative point. It is not something that we dug up at the blaze. This is something that is

00:47:15.700 absolutely confirmed by the Associated Press and many other fact checkers. Everybody on the left

00:47:20.880 even acknowledges this is true. And then he uses that lie to defend his handling of the, of the,

00:47:26.900 of coronavirus. It is incomprehensible that he's not called out on this more often.

00:47:31.660 And yet the man won an Emmy award for his, uh, COVID press conferences. Here's a New Yorker reacting,

00:47:37.820 uh, to that victory.

00:47:39.880 So I just got home, but while I was out tonight, I heard that Cuomo got an international Emmy award

00:47:48.380 for his COVID and how we handle it. Are you getting an award for mass murder in the elderly?

00:47:57.340 Huh? What are you going to do, a dance when you get your Emmy? Huh? Like springtime Hitler? 0.95

00:48:03.600 Do you ever watch that musical, springtime with Hitler? Is that the name of it? You sick, 1.00

00:48:09.100 demented, evil piece of you are. You can actually go up there and stand on stage and get an award for 1.00

00:48:15.620 that mass murdering of the elderly. Everyone that lost a parent or a grandparent, you really need to 0.98

00:48:22.480 speak out now. You really do. You really need to come out and fight against this mother

00:48:28.600 that he is. Time. Now's the time, New York. See up. Don't let this commie accept this award and

00:48:37.760 Emmy should pay too. So she's a fan. She's clearly a fan. Huge supporter of Cuomo. I got from that.

00:48:44.100 Yeah. She likes him as much as you do, I think. Maybe even a little more. Yeah, maybe more. Maybe even a

00:48:49.640 little more. Uh, it's infuriating. I mean, I will say if he's going to win an award, an award for basically

00:48:57.600 acting might be the award for him to win because that is what those press conferences were. They

00:49:03.120 were a television show where he lied. I mean, it was a fictional television show. And most New Yorkers

00:49:08.300 bought it because do you remember what is his approval rating was during that time? It's like

00:49:12.800 82%. Yeah. And look, people tend to, to coalesce around a public figure during times of emergency.

00:49:22.100 Right. I mean, we even, we saw that with, even with Trump, but we saw, I've seen it all over the

00:49:26.400 world with leaders who have, uh, looked at, uh, you know, uh, when, when the coronavirus was at its

00:49:31.740 peak, people, you know, they, they huddle in and they, they, they kind of like look for somebody to

00:49:37.920 make them feel better. And that's a lot. Well, you know, Cuomo did that, you know, that was what he

00:49:41.840 did. And we covered this. I covered this at a column for the New York post. Uh, also, you know,

00:49:46.800 did a long thread of this on Twitter. You can get it at Stu does America if you want to check it out.

00:49:51.720 But the bottom line was people remember him making them feel better because he was telling

00:49:57.300 them nothing was happening. He was telling them it was okay to go on subways. He was telling them

00:50:01.800 that it was not a big deal. It was, it was not as, you know, people, more people were dying from the

00:50:05.400 flu. He was saying that people were, you know, that we've dealt with much worse pandemics than this

00:50:10.000 much worse viruses. Yeah. And like, wait, wait, okay. End of the day, you know, and he, and he told them

00:50:14.820 over and over again, up until the 19th of March. I'm not going to close anything down. Yeah. I'll

00:50:19.740 never forget what he did the press conference. And he was talking about the, the, uh, very

00:50:23.960 successful New York businessman. Oh, his friend. Friend of his good, his good mythical buddy. Yeah.

00:50:28.320 His buddy, who's a, who's a big business guy, uh, was very afraid cause he was here and we're

00:50:32.940 going to, we're going to close down the city. We're going to close down businesses. And the guy was

00:50:36.460 freaking out about it. And Cuomo told him, ah, don't worry about it. I'd have to do that. And I'm not

00:50:41.620 doing that. Yeah. You know when that happened, that press conference happened on March

00:50:44.720 19th on March 20th, he closed down the city. I mean, that's just incredible. Literally

00:50:49.540 the day before it's because he was in, he's a massive liar. And the only thing he cares 0.99

00:50:57.500 about is himself, right? He is completely obsessed with Andrew Cuomo. Andrew Cuomo is obsessed

00:51:04.280 with Andrew Cuomo. And that is why he, he actually okayed the selling of a poster where he bragged

00:51:13.180 about all of the wonderful things he did with coronavirus and sold it on a New York government

00:51:17.680 website where, where they drew cartoons of him driving his Camaro around. And Donald Trump

00:51:25.000 was up on the moon. He was sitting on the moon in this poster. And of course in denial, you

00:51:30.160 know, he's in denial, Pat. And you know what he was saying? This is just like the flu.

00:51:35.000 Andrew Cuomo actually said that exact thing. He said it. He said less people were dying of

00:51:41.080 coronavirus than the flu. He was doing all of the things that people criticized Donald

00:51:45.420 Trump on. And remember this, if you remember nothing else, that Donald Trump did his big

00:51:50.520 speech that we all remember, 15 days to stop the spread. That was March 16th. He waited

00:51:56.400 until multiple days after that to close down New York City where all the action was happening

00:52:01.100 with coronavirus. You know, the idea that Cheyenne, Wyoming needed to close down in March

00:52:05.040 was ridiculous. It didn't need to, right? But New York City is a totally different world. 0.63

00:52:10.220 And while Donald Trump was saying, hey, we got to stop 15 days. Let's all hunker down

00:52:14.280 and see what we can do here to knock this down a notch. Andrew Cuomo was still, he, you know

00:52:19.580 what he did? He cut gathering limits that day. The same day that Trump said, hey, we're going

00:52:24.360 to shut the whole economy down. Andrew Cuomo cut down gatherings to five times the national

00:52:33.420 guidelines. So he said, hey, you know what? We got to cut gatherings to 50 on March 16th in New York.

00:52:42.480 Jeez. Like he was way behind Trump on all of this stuff. And the fact that he let the virus ravage

00:52:51.900 his community so thoroughly and then switch sides completely and started basically welding people

00:52:57.860 in their apartments. He was able to maintain a low rate for a few months. And then that creates

00:53:03.660 a book. It creates the poster sales. It creates fawning media tours. He was wrong on this every

00:53:09.560 step of the way. And his handling of this was disastrous. And basically, I want to drop as

00:53:16.560 many F-bombs as that lady just did. That's how pissed off it makes me because he gets credit from 0.95

00:53:21.800 the media for this. He gets credit and this adoration from both New York and national media

00:53:29.120 because you know what the truth is? A lot of the media people were sitting there in their homes

00:53:33.580 watching those press conferences terrified and he made them feel better for a few weeks.

00:53:37.440 When he shouldn't, when he shouldn't have been, when the right message was don't go on subways,

00:53:42.700 he was saying go on subways. When the right message was don't go to the Chinese fair that's

00:53:48.780 going to Chinese New Year's celebration, he was saying to go. Just like Pelosi was doing

00:53:54.400 in San Francisco. Right. And now when we know more about the virus, when we're able to handle

00:54:00.620 these things a little bit more sensibly and we're allowed to do things in ways that we know how to

00:54:08.740 protect ourselves a little bit better. Now he's saying don't see any of your family members.

00:54:12.340 Now he's saying, you know what? I can certainly go out without a mask on. I can certainly go to

00:54:17.520 Gavin Newsom going to his fancy dinners. I can certainly go to the funerals for John Lewis

00:54:22.840 if I'm a Democrat. That's certainly OK. Of course, that's OK. But you're nothing.

00:54:26.660 You're a giant zilch in the society. You don't matter. Therefore, you can't do those things. 0.99

00:54:31.260 You know what? What should happen here is I should be able to do all these things and you shouldn't

00:54:34.680 because I'm more important than you. It's incredible how virtually every one of these

00:54:39.860 ham-fisted leaders, these leaders that are oppressing their own people in these various

00:54:47.960 jurisdictions. They're all the ones who are doing whatever they want. Yep.

00:54:52.240 Lori Lightfoot in Chicago doing the hairdressing thing because she cares about her hygiene. 0.91

00:55:00.660 Like you little people don't. 0.98

00:55:02.880 But I care about my hygiene and it's important that I have good hygiene.

00:55:06.640 So I'm going to get my hair done. I'm going to retweet this. There's a

00:55:10.100 a thread from Carol Markowitz who's from the New York Post 0.86

00:55:13.800 and she has just put together all of the hypocrisy from these leaders.

00:55:17.900 Oh, I love that. I'm going to retweet this right now.

00:55:19.540 Oh, that's great.

00:55:20.060 At Studios America. So you get to see. It's a building list. She started it in August

00:55:24.920 and it's just been building and building and building all of these.

00:55:28.120 But there's a ton.

00:55:28.920 Oh, there's plenty of them. It's worth doing and worth reading through because it builds all the

00:55:38.280 time. People who are hypocritical. We say this in New York. I mean, think about this. 300,000 kids 0.98

00:55:43.300 in New York City are home from school because they came up with this ridiculous percentage of

00:55:50.800 positive tests, 3% across the city. And as soon as we hit that number, we're going to close down

00:55:55.040 all the schools. Well, the United States as a whole has never, not for a day since this began,

00:56:00.400 been below 3%. Never been below 5% as a country. Now, New York City has for a couple of months here

00:56:09.200 had that claim, which is, you know, wonderful. Although there's reasons for it that are deeply,

00:56:17.760 they were deeply scarred by this. I know people in New York. We know a lot of people up in New York.

00:56:21.860 These people were deeply scarred by how horrible it was when Cuomo was telling them to go on

00:56:27.240 subways and the virus was running rampant through society. So they are much more cautious than you'll

00:56:33.640 see in other places. When people from New York leave New York, they are hyper terrified of this.

00:56:41.280 So that's what happens. It's not mandates. It's not a governor picking rules. It's people,

00:56:47.680 when you get deeply scarred by this, when every night for a month and a half, all you hear outside

00:56:52.880 of your apartment building are ambulances going by because it's the only cars on the road for a

00:56:57.760 month. That's a scarring experience. It wasn't like that in Texas, but it was like that in New York.

00:57:03.160 So they're much more careful. And these things, you know, are, you can keep the virus levels down.

00:57:08.220 They take above 3%. They close all these schools down. These families are scrambling last minute to try

00:57:12.960 to figure this out. Scientist after scientist after scientist, including Dr. Fauci is saying,

00:57:17.720 don't close the schools. And yet they close the schools. Yeah. And he is saying, don't lock down,

00:57:22.340 don't lock down, don't close the schools. Birx is saying, don't lock down, don't close,

00:57:25.920 close the schools. These are not like concert. This is not Dr. Atlas. These are people who the left

00:57:31.540 has told us are the only people you can trust. And now the New York city, New York state is doing

00:57:37.960 this all over again and they will continue to do it because it's going to kill New York.

00:57:42.280 You, if New York hasn't already been killed, this will kill it. And think of the incentive

00:57:45.940 structure for Cuomo here. The guy just released a book about how brilliant he was. He can't have

00:57:51.080 an increase. Yeah. He's going to do every dumb lockdown thing he can to try. He doesn't care

00:57:56.340 about the economy. He just has to keep those numbers down and he's doing it. He's, he's squashing

00:58:01.440 the entire state for his, his own book sales. He is the worst. And, uh, unfortunately they can't 0.88

00:58:09.660 bleep me live or I would express in different ways how bad he is. 888-900, uh, 888-727-BECK.

00:58:17.760 It's Pat and Stu for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.

00:58:26.880 Mortgage rates have been hovering near record lows for months and they remain

00:58:31.280 competitive, but there will come a time when they start to tick up. And I'm afraid that time

00:59:26.880 It's Pat and Stu for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program, 888-727-BECK. Apparently remdesivir is falling

00:59:45.840 out of favor now. The Who claims no effect from remdesivir. The band? Yeah. I mean, these guys

00:59:52.780 couldn't even beat a blind guy in pinball. What are we listening to them for on remdesivir? I don't

00:59:59.080 understand it. I don't understand it. Tell me what Roger Daltrey knows about remdesivir. Has he had

01:00:05.920 COVID even? I don't, not that I know of. Typical media. It is. To hype the claims of some aging band.

01:00:12.180 Right? You know? Right? These guys are in their mid, late 70s. I'm sorry. I'm not listening

01:00:17.580 to them. Yeah. No, they, I mean, like remdesivir, they're going back and forth on that a little

01:00:21.580 bit. It seems like there's some. Because they were saying it was pretty effective. Yeah. It

01:00:25.160 was effective. Even the initial study basically said, I want to say it was 20% reduction in

01:00:30.040 deaths and hospital stay for severe patients. So it was never like something you would take

01:00:35.840 when you, you know, if you felt fine or like to prevent it in advance. It was something

01:00:40.300 of like a slight reduction in the worst outcomes is what that first study showed. Some people

01:00:45.940 think that the study wasn't thorough enough. I kind of, I lean on the idea of like, look,

01:00:52.140 unless you know it's going to create negative consequences. Like this. Try it. Yeah. Why

01:00:56.320 not? Hydroxychloroquine was another one that we went through this with. Yes. You know, it's

01:00:59.580 like, well. A lot of people seem to get relief from it. A lot of people seem to be helped in

01:01:04.800 the beginning according to some doctors who used it. Yeah. And maybe, you know, we'll find

01:01:08.820 out that it works on certain subsets of people. I mean, it was interesting to see when Donald

01:01:12.600 Trump got COVID. He didn't actually take it. Right. He took the Regeneron situation and the

01:01:19.300 steroid and a few other things. And that seemed to work. And that just got approval for emergency

01:01:27.540 use authorization. Yeah. Yeah. Authorization, which is a good, it's a good, it's encouraging

01:01:34.280 signs. I mean, we're getting better at this. And that's, what's one of the, one of the better

01:01:38.700 things you saw, you know, hospitalizations peaked in March at the same levels they peaked

01:01:43.880 in August. And we saw less than half of the deaths in that period. You know, so that's

01:01:50.420 a good, you know, we're, we're getting better at fighting it. And that's really the end game

01:01:55.860 here is not the masks are not masks. Like whatever. Like I understand that everyone gets so passionate

01:02:02.280 about that particular thing. And I swear, like some people are passionate about it because

01:02:06.220 of tyranny. Some people are passionate about it because of, you know, medical health. My

01:02:10.000 wife is passionate because of, of makeup. She does not like the masks because it ruins 0.95

01:02:14.800 her makeup. I don't know what the percentage is. That's definitely where my wife is on that 1.00

01:02:18.860 one. Uh-huh. But at the end of the day, that is like a, you know, it's a, it's like covering

01:02:26.140 a symptom. It's like, it's like maybe that helps. Let's say it helps. Let's say it's

01:02:30.040 beneficial. And it allows us to have maybe more economic activity, more travel, all of

01:02:34.480 those things. You know, at some level, I think the science shows it's moderately helpful,

01:02:39.520 but it is not a panacea. It is not, it's not a cure. But all that being said, and I wish

01:02:45.540 the president took more time to make this case during the election because I think it would

01:02:48.740 have been helpful. Which is like, we can all talk about locking ourselves inside of our

01:02:53.460 homes to avoid this virus. But at the end of the day, what needs to happen is a medical

01:02:57.700 or technological solution to eliminate it. And this is what my administration has been

01:03:04.660 working on this whole time. We have multiple companies that have, are very close to releasing

01:03:11.300 these vaccines. And that's just part of it. That doesn't include the treatments. It doesn't

01:03:16.500 include the other things that we've learned. And what we're focusing on here in an administration

01:03:21.200 is not micromanaging your Thanksgiving. What we're focusing on is a long-term solution that

01:03:28.200 lets us return to normal. And because of the actions that this government has taken under

01:03:32.620 my leadership, that's what we're doing.

01:03:34.700 That would have been a really good message.

01:03:36.480 I think it would have been an effective one.

01:03:37.780 Yeah, I think it would have. Why didn't he do it?

01:03:41.960 I mean, he knew Pfizer was about to announce.

01:03:44.620 Yeah.

01:03:44.780 He had to know that.

01:03:45.600 And he did mention it. He just, it was never a big focus of the campaign.

01:03:48.620 It may have been because, you know, some people were skeptical of it.

01:03:51.360 Well, every time he said anything, they said, oh, that's not going to happen for another

01:03:53.940 year and a half.

01:03:54.680 Right. And then there it is.

01:03:56.000 And then here it is.

01:03:56.840 Yeah.

01:03:57.700 Surprise!

01:03:58.880 Yay! 0.99

01:03:59.020 Like the day after the election.

01:04:02.080 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:04:05.860 Welcome to 2020. Oh, it's almost over. Malware is everywhere, like an entire room of live

01:04:12.100 mousetraps for you to walk barefoot and blindfolded through. If you've been operating under the

01:04:16.360 assumption lately that your emails are safe just because you recognize the sources, well,

01:04:21.120 think again. Cybercriminals have found ways to embed malware into attached documents. And then

01:04:26.180 as soon as you download them, hit enable content or enable editing, you get yourself some malware

01:04:30.740 that is going to start finding and stealing your personal information on behalf of some

01:04:34.720 cybercriminal. Now, if that doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun, it's because it's not.

01:04:39.020 Fortunately, there is a way to fight it. It's called LifeLock. It's important to understand

01:04:42.140 how cybercrime and identity theft are affecting our lives. This holiday season, get LifeLock,

01:04:46.460 the leader in identity theft protection. No one can prevent all identity theft or monitor

01:04:51.040 all transactions at all businesses, but LifeLock can help you feel warm and protected this holiday

01:05:07.960 the year 2020 has been bad enough. Don't don't make it worse. Protect yourself with LifeLock.com.

01:05:12.820 The promo code is BECK.

01:05:16.300 Good. Glenn Beck, Steven Crowder, Stu Bergeer, Dave Rubin, and me, Pat Gray. Listen to all the

01:05:22.940 conservative voices at BlazeTV.com. Promo code GLENN.

01:05:31.300 It's Pat and Stu for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. Thanksgiving week, hopefully a short one

01:05:37.560 for you. Hopefully you have Thursday and Friday off. I think most Americans probably have Black 0.99

01:05:43.020 Friday off. Can you believe it's Black Friday already? Can you believe it's Thanksgiving already?

01:05:47.580 It seems like such a crappy year. And now we're here at the holiday season.

01:05:53.360 Are you noticing that it seems like the Christmas lights are up and the trees are up a lot earlier

01:05:59.160 this year? By far. Yeah. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. I've never seen as many,

01:06:03.740 at least around Texas. I mean, as soon as Halloween was over, uh, lights were going up in our

01:06:07.520 neighborhood. Yeah. And it's like, cause everybody feels like crap. Yeah. Give me something positive.

01:06:12.940 Yes. And then they're like, no, you can't have Thanksgiving. You bastards. You. That's what

01:06:17.240 they're trying to take away from us. No. No. We'll not have it. Is anyone, I guess people on the left

01:06:24.620 maybe are listening at some level. I think people on the right. To not have Thanksgiving. To not have

01:06:29.780 Thanksgiving. I bet some people are not doing it, but I think the overwhelming majority are saying,

01:06:34.260 look, if grandma and grandpa are really sick or they're really old, or you have someone with,

01:06:38.300 with a preexisting condition that would make them particularly vulnerable. They can join us virtually.

01:06:42.720 Maybe they can join us virtually. We'll give them a call. Yeah. Something like that. You know,

01:06:45.180 we have to remember too, the sensible thing here, which is a lot of us don't like our relatives.

01:06:49.840 You know, there's a lot of people you actually don't want to see on Thanksgiving. Right.

01:06:53.560 And maybe this is a good excuse to avoid them. Uh, but I think generally speaking,

01:06:57.500 people are going to go to their Thanksgiving. They'll take some precautions if they can,

01:07:01.180 and they're going to live with the outcome of that. You know, I think that's, you know,

01:07:05.860 there is a certain level of risk that people are willing to accept. And by the way, the risk for 98.5

01:07:13.500 or 98.9 or 99% of the population is pretty small. It's like, I'm going to get the flu or a cold.

01:07:20.580 That's the risk for the vast majority of Americans who are under 80 years old.

01:07:25.380 Yeah. Yeah. Right. Yeah. You could, the survival rate is going to be north of 99%. I think when this

01:07:31.220 is all settled. Yeah. However, there are other, I mean, I, I've, you know, I have for the, but for

01:07:36.120 the most vulnerable, you always have to say this for the most vulnerable. Of course you need to take

01:07:40.200 the precautions. Yeah. And look, it's, you know, I, we've, we have people we know who went through

01:07:44.800 it, didn't die, but it was really miserable. That doesn't mean you shut down society for a,

01:07:51.380 you know, I, I don't know that I know anybody like that. I know you guys and you didn't have

01:07:55.600 any symptoms. Legitimately, completely asymptomatic. Glenn's family went through it and they were sick.

01:08:01.460 I guess Tanya didn't feel good, but it wasn't like severe. I talked to a friend this weekend

01:08:06.120 who's, you know, our age, no pre-existing conditions, a tire household had it, six people,

01:08:11.000 I believe. Um, and, uh, the mom got really sick, like to the point that they were really worried

01:08:18.580 about how it was going to turn out. Now it turned, after three or four weeks, uh, wound

01:08:22.940 up making a comeback and was okay. And now it's fine. But I mean, that, what'd she take?

01:08:26.980 What'd they treat her with? Um, uh, they injected bleach and light into her veins. That's what's 0.99

01:08:32.100 the best way to do it. I don't, I don't know. Bleach kills it within seconds. I understand.

01:08:36.220 I think the vast majority of people, please don't take bleach at home. No, no, you do not have to do

01:08:44.020 that. Do you really have to tell that to people? I hope not. I hope not. Uh, no, I mean,

01:08:48.420 look, there is a, uh, there is a group of, I have a relative too, that went through, uh,

01:08:55.340 like a six to six or seven week period where he was just to go to the bathroom to walk across

01:09:03.680 the room would like pass out. Oh my God. I mean, it was like, it is, you know, there's

01:09:08.580 a, there's an NFL running back. The guy who was, I can't remember his name. He was supposed

01:09:11.440 to be the starter for Jacksonville this year who went out on COVID leave and just never came

01:09:15.940 back. Like when no one knows how serious it was, apparently it was very serious. You

01:09:21.440 know, uh, uh, Freddie Freeman, right from the, uh, from the Atlanta Braves wound up winning

01:09:27.580 the NL, NL MVP, uh, in a year that he came back and had it really bad. I mean, it's, it

01:09:32.600 is interesting who it hits and who it doesn't. There was a BYU player who, who got it and

01:09:36.860 then it turned into pneumonia and he was out for, I don't know, four or five weeks.

01:09:42.160 Probably it can affect you in serious ways. Big, healthy, like six, five, 300 solid muscle

01:09:47.000 kind of guy. Yeah. So it's kind of surprising. You just don't know. You don't know. Who's

01:09:50.680 going to go down with it really hard. But that's a, like a personal choice is different

01:09:55.060 than a societal choice, right? You can say, we can look at this as a society and say, well,

01:10:00.560 99 plus percent, I think it's, you know, is going to wind up being the survival rate of

01:10:05.060 this. There's a, there are other effects that might affect you longterm. There's a decent

01:10:09.640 group of people who are affecting, you know, months and months of effects after

01:10:13.100 this. And we all have to internalize that. But as a society setting policy is

01:10:17.400 different. Whether you're going to mandate closing an economy is a totally

01:10:21.980 different call than whether you're going to, as your own person, you know, your

01:10:26.540 own individual choice, decide to go to as many, you know, close quartered concerts

01:10:32.020 inside of poorly ventilated bars, right? Like you can make, there are, there are

01:10:37.020 places in between that. And I know that's what we're all trying to find. I

01:10:40.060 guess it's easy to be critical of every government official for everything they

01:10:43.400 do wrong. And there's some value in that, frankly, but you know, it is

01:10:48.260 difficult. I think a lot of these, these governors are trying to find the right

01:10:51.680 balance, but this should all still be constitutional, whether it's sensible to

01:10:56.100 you or not. And whether you think we should take more action or not, you still

01:10:58.980 have to deal with the constitution. This is the United States of America. And a lot

01:11:02.420 of these, a lot of these politicians are thinking, well, what if I don't care about

01:11:05.200 the constitution? What if I don't do anything it says? What if instead I just

01:11:09.560 do what I want to do? And that's not how this country operates. It's not right. And

01:11:16.300 they want it to be, they want that to be true. It's just not true. It would feel

01:11:22.020 good to them if it was true, but it's not terrible disappointment. Yeah. And there

01:11:26.840 are people who've taken it into their own hands to punish people who don't do the

01:11:32.020 things that they think they should be doing. Like, like when they're on a hike

01:11:36.180 in Massachusetts and they're not wearing a mask and somebody comes by and decides

01:11:41.740 that they've, they've done the wrong thing. And then he starts spitting on

01:11:44.820 them, telling them he has COVID-19, uh, like this, this guy did.

01:11:48.380 I have COVID. I've been tested positive.

01:11:54.240 He's pissed because these two women are not wearing masks. They're not wearing masks. And

01:11:59.980 so he starts spitting on them. He takes down his mask, of course, to spit on them as they're

01:12:06.100 outdoors hiking where you shouldn't be wearing a mask. No, there's no reason.

01:12:12.040 There's no way I'm wearing a mask when I'm hiking in the mountains. No, this is what I

01:12:18.420 talked to when we were talking about government giving reliable, accurate information that's

01:12:23.400 consistent, right? That would be a nice thing. I mean, cause there are really like you think

01:12:27.300 about, there are people on the left who legitimately believe that these things are necessary. You

01:12:34.220 know, the mask is the complete, like, you're not going to get it. If you have a mask on,

01:12:39.500 there's a lot of people I think on the left who believe if you're not wearing a mask,

01:12:44.060 you're giving me COVID. Yeah. And I think that is the, probably the biggest failure of the media

01:12:49.280 throughout this. Yeah. It's ridiculous. Which is to say they made this into this cultural thing

01:12:53.200 where, you know, Republicans don't like masks and liberals do. And liberals are the smart ones

01:12:57.360 because they're wearing masks. And if you just wear a mask, everything will be fine. No,

01:13:00.680 that is not the message. If you wear a mask, there is probably, I've looked at a ton of studies at

01:13:05.360 this, of this, including the Danish one that just came out recently. If people wear masks,

01:13:10.080 there is likely a decrease in the transmission rate, right? So that, you know, we saw this in

01:13:16.120 the USS Theodore Roosevelt. They did a study of this. People who wore masks got COVID and the people

01:13:23.560 around those who had masks on, you know, tested positive for COVID at lower rates. There was like

01:13:30.000 a 20 or 30% reduction in the amount of spread. That's not nothing, right? It's a tool. It's part

01:13:38.800 of the process to try to get this to spread as slowly as possible until we come up with a real

01:13:44.320 solution, right? So you could say that. Which will be hopefully the vaccine.

01:13:48.080 Hopefully the vaccine, right? Yeah.

01:13:49.600 But like the media has not stated it like that. What the media has said is wear a mask,

01:13:55.880 you don't get COVID. Don't wear a mask, you get COVID. Wear a mask, you protect everybody else

01:14:00.900 with no exceptions from COVID. And like, that's not what the data shows. So they've overinflated

01:14:08.520 the material difference masks make in an effort to essentially shame people who don't like them. 0.93

01:14:17.020 And while that seems maybe mentally to make sense, like you're, well, if you just wear a freaking 0.97

01:14:21.640 mask, then everything would be fine. We can all go back to normal. Like that seems like a 0.98

01:14:25.560 compelling argument, I guess, to their side. But on the other hand, your people are taking less

01:14:31.520 other, like other precautions. They're taking less of them because they're wearing masks. Like

01:14:36.100 they're not doing six feet because they're wearing masks. Well, I'm wearing, you know what I mean?

01:14:39.360 They're, they're, they're going in, they're having meetings indoors because they're wearing

01:14:41.880 masks. They think that solves it. It doesn't. Much, much, a much better solution is doing things

01:14:45.880 outside. Like, I don't know, hiking. Right. Right. The government should have been encouraging,

01:14:50.600 go to the parks. We all know we've got these beautiful parks in our state. And you know what?

01:14:55.560 We all know you guys are sloths and you just want to watch Netflix all day. How about getting

01:15:02.200 outside your fat lumps and take a freaking hike? And you know what? The great thing is you don't 0.99

01:15:06.500 have to wear a mask. You're outside your social distance anyway, like naturally in a hiking

01:15:10.080 environment. This is great. You can, it'll seem like real, real life all over again. Get your fat

01:15:15.460 ass out of the chair and take a walk. Wouldn't that be nice? Instead, they were like to stay inside. 1.00

01:15:19.320 Don't go near the beach. Don't have Thanksgiving. Don't even cook a turkey. It'll kill everyone in

01:15:25.520 your family. It will. Wow. Really? Wow. Turkey's going to kill everybody? Yes, because you're 1.00

01:15:31.600 opening your mouth. And when you eat and take a bite, you're sucking in the COVID. You suck it 0.79

01:15:34.960 right in. Right. Yeah. It's like encouraging. You know what? Hey, guys, you know what would be 0.99

01:15:39.460 interesting is all these great churches are in the middle of this pandemic reacting to it. And

01:15:44.480 they're doing drive-in services. And they're doing outdoor services to make sure people can still

01:15:50.740 worship. And that's a great idea. Like, thank you so much to these churches who are taking these

01:15:55.580 steps to make their people safe and still have their connection to their faith. Instead, they're

01:15:59.820 like, don't go to church, you bastards. Why do you love the devil so much? Only the devil would take 1.00

01:16:04.400 you to church in a moment like this. And it's like, that is the worst possible way to communicate

01:16:10.120 these messages to the American people. The American people are independent. The American people

01:16:14.860 are people who want to be able to make their own decisions because, you know, they live in a

01:16:19.760 country where the foundations of that nation specifically encourage it. Right. Make your

01:16:25.620 own decisions. Take your own risks. Yep. And instead, they try to just, you know, harangue

01:16:32.080 everyone into just, you know, these punishments and fines and levels of bureaucracy and mandates.

01:16:38.220 People don't react well to that. Give them reliable, consistent information that they can actually

01:16:44.500 take to heart. And no, you're not going to change it six days later. If you do that, the American

01:16:51.020 people can look at it, assess their risk and make their own decisions. Instead, it's so bad that you've

01:16:55.940 got a left-wing governor like Andrew Cuomo saying that the vaccine is moving so fast. Okay. The two

01:17:04.880 vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna because of money and ego. Wait, you're making it a bad thing that

01:17:11.680 they've quickly developed a vaccine in this country? It's incredible. It is unbelievable.

01:17:19.780 And they will, this will be the same group of people who will yell at us for not following the

01:17:23.900 science, who will tell us we're the ones that hate the scientists and hate the doctors. Right. And then

01:17:29.260 when the scientists come up with something that could get us back out and able to communicate with

01:17:35.900 each other again in person, they make that a bad thing. Yeah. It's terrible. It really is terrible.

01:17:41.300 And you know, who was one of the leaders of this? I hate to bring this up again. Andrew freaking

01:17:45.360 Cuomo. Yes. Andrew Cuomo. Who is, who is like, you know, well, what I'm going to do is come up with 0.91

01:17:50.480 my own separate checking process because I don't trust Trump. So we're going to take the vaccines and

01:17:56.220 we're going to do our own studies on them. So you're going to withhold this potential vaccine. Yeah.

01:18:01.960 That, that people like, even like Fauci have approved and you're going to do your own separate

01:18:06.860 check because of politics and you're going to withhold from people who might need it, this

01:18:11.720 vaccine. And then we're going to be the ones that are anti-science and this guy's going to maintain

01:18:16.060 a 70% approval rating. That's how this is going to work. That is really freaking annoying. Sad,

01:18:20.060 but true. Sad, but true. 888-727-BECK.

01:18:23.300 All right. Let me tell you about Chamonix. Thanksgiving, just a few days away, as you

01:18:40.860 checking in on you. Maybe haven't seen you in a while. This might be the first time you're

01:19:56.620 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:19:58.780 It's Pat and Stu for Glenn. Coming up in a few minutes, you know, Colin Kaepernick has

01:20:11.480 yet another really good cause that he's working for right now, and that's to free cop killer

01:20:22.600 Abu Jamal. Yeah, Mumia. Free Mumia. 0.99

01:20:25.340 Yeah, it's the big movement, and celebrities love this guy for some reason.

01:20:32.480 Yeah, he's one of these causes that's been around for a while where a guy shoots, kills

01:20:37.260 a cop, and then, you know, the left just all gets together.

01:20:40.500 Why is he in jail for that? Yeah. What did he do wrong?

01:20:42.360 What? These cops are pigs, so what's the problem here? 1.00

01:20:46.400 So unbelievable. 1.00

01:20:47.500 No, they've tried to make it seem like he's innocent for this. I mean, the evidence is overwhelming.

01:20:51.060 He says he still maintains his innocence. Yeah.

01:20:53.460 Well, nobody does that in jail. I know.

01:20:55.740 Nobody does that in prison. He hasn't changed his story. Yeah, he said he didn't do it,

01:20:59.440 but although I think he did confess at one point, or at least if I remember the story right,

01:21:03.240 we have to go through some of this. Michael Smirconish, who's a guy we used to work with

01:21:07.340 back at WPHT in Philadelphia, one of our stations at the time, wrote a book on this called Murdered

01:21:14.480 by Mumia, and he did a segment on CNN basically calling out Kaepernick, hey, you need to know

01:21:20.000 the facts about the story. He's really good on this. He needs to know the facts about a

01:21:23.380 lot of things. A lot of things. A lot of things. Yeah, like all the people that he's yelling

01:21:28.320 about who have been murdered by cops for racist reasons. Yeah. Not so much on many of them.

01:21:34.780 Another thing is how to read a cover to defense. He doesn't seem to know that at all either,

01:21:38.700 and it's why he's out of the league. That's a whole different story. No, no, no. That's just

01:21:43.620 racism, the reason he's out of the league. Oh, it's just racism. I know. Yeah, it's racism.

01:21:47.240 The cover, too, has nothing to do with it. Nothing to do with him being, what was it, his...

01:21:51.460 With having about a 12 quarterback rating, that has nothing to do with it. No, I can't remember

01:21:56.140 if it was his last year or his second to last year, where he was four or five slots in QBR

01:22:01.180 behind Johnny Manziel, who's a guy who never even got another chance. Also out of the league,

01:22:06.460 by the way. In fact, every person below him never played again, and several of the players

01:22:12.780 above him never played again. Wasn't Tim Tebow one of those? I don't remember if Tebow was on that.

01:22:17.860 Tebow, by the way, is still not playing in professional football. I don't know if people

01:22:21.400 are aware of that. Baseball, though. Yeah, he is. Minor league baseball. A little bit of that going on.

01:23:37.260 50 million people are still going to travel for Thanksgiving despite the fact they've been told

01:23:43.620 not to these murderers 50 million murderers going places and killing people with their

01:23:53.820 COVID-19 infections okay whatever you've been warned super spreaders 0.96

01:23:59.660 amazing ridiculous have you seen the the chart of security TSA searches no it's pretty interesting

01:24:10.080 so right before March it was at like 2 million a day searches searches per day people traveling

01:24:17.820 and then obviously the pandemic hits and it dropped down to like 50,000 it's like incredible

01:24:22.880 it dropped by like over 90 percent it's now been inching up obviously over time and now we're at

01:24:27.780 about 1 million so we've recovered about 50 percent of the travel when it comes to airline travel

01:24:34.320 uh from the beginning of the pandemic but it's in you know it's amazing to see something like

01:24:41.160 that something that is so central to American life yeah went away almost entirely with no notice

01:24:48.700 yeah Jeffy used to track those numbers because they were so high right before COVID and then

01:24:54.000 so incredibly low for a while afterwards wait hold on I cannot get past did you just say

01:24:59.420 Jeffy used to track numbers did it ever go over 18 no no no it was weird because we were down to

01:25:05.840 18 for quite a while quite a while in fact I think he's still there wait I want because I know Pat

01:25:12.240 Grandleash is a great show and every once in a while you have Jeffy on and obviously that's the time I

01:25:16.420 turn it off but obviously you're saying during the Jeffy segments he was giving you numeric updates

01:25:22.940 yes on travel yes both that and on uh chewing the fat uh with Jeffy by by the way you can get

01:25:29.560 that podcast as well as Pac Ray Unleashed and even uh Stu Does America wherever you get your podcasts

01:25:36.380 yes please subscribe and listen to those do all those things we appreciate it of course the show

01:25:40.700 as well is available on podcast uh yeah but that's a it is an amazing drop-off to see that happen

01:25:45.760 it is to see that change I mean you know you're talking about a massive alteration in a society

01:25:52.880 well I remember when the whole thing started and and travel just stopped you know especially air

01:26:01.260 travel just shut down and you know we drive uh down a freeway that happens to run next door to DFW

01:26:11.360 airport which is I think in normal circumstances like the fourth or fifth busiest airport in the world

01:26:16.700 there was zero I mean when you when you go uh down that freeway uh during normal times you see four

01:26:24.960 or five planes at a time because 2,000 a day land there there were like zero airplanes landing at DFW

01:26:33.180 for months it was it was amazing to see and then all of a sudden things started coming back and and for

01:26:39.900 some reason it came back to the point where DFW was the number one airport in the world for a while

01:26:43.820 with uh with uh with with track traffic but I I don't know where they stand now but it is amazing

01:26:49.740 to see how much things changed overnight just completely different uh patterns for the American

01:26:58.580 people um overnight and it just shows you how life can go upside down in a matter of seconds one of the

01:27:06.660 things that 2020 has taught us is how fragile all this is yeah you know you realize supply chain

01:27:11.880 everything I mean I was I was in target this weekend that there are not there was not a

01:27:17.540 toilet towel to be found in this place weird the paper products yeah whether it's toilet paper or

01:27:24.200 paper towels yeah in some cases for a long time for months it was the Clorox wipes you couldn't get

01:27:29.920 them you just couldn't get them anywhere or anything like that and then we had that really weird run of

01:27:34.140 strange smelling hand sanitizer yeah which we actually had here and that's why I'm like

01:27:41.080 it smells just like some awful drink you'd order at a bar is you know it's like that real alcohol

01:27:47.680 taste or I didn't drink too much of the hand sanitizer but when I did it's no I mean it's kind of like

01:27:52.880 rancid swamp water yeah is what it smelled like awful yeah awful not good yeah so I mean it's gonna be

01:27:59.760 interesting to see if that pops back I mean we should hit our peaks I would think with thanksgiving

01:28:04.760 holiday being a pretty heavy travel time mm-hmm but there's enough people who are still terrified

01:28:10.400 of this that's why they won't release movies like there's a that chicken and egg problem going on

01:28:14.960 where like the theaters are like well we can't stay open because no they're not releasing any movies

01:28:18.680 and the theater companies are the movie companies are saying well we can't release any movies because

01:28:21.960 none of the theaters are open no one's going to the movies so we can't release anything that that looks

01:28:26.460 halfway decent makes it really hard makes it yeah it makes and a lot of them including uh some in

01:28:32.560 this area have just gone completely out of business yeah they just shut their doors sorry we're done

01:28:36.740 it was a tough business anyway with all the stuff with the competition you know with home streaming

01:28:42.000 services and all these things it was difficult to have movie theaters before this now I mean you

01:28:48.120 you're gonna see I would not want to be a theater owner right now no we've already seen multiple

01:28:52.540 bankruptcies on that front and you're gonna see at least half of these theaters close they just

01:28:56.440 came out late last week and said wonder woman the new wonder woman 1984 I think it is uh it's

01:29:02.640 going to be in a it's going to be a simultaneous release in theaters and hbo max at the same time

01:29:09.240 so you can see it at home or I guess go to a movie theater and see it that seems like a smart way to

01:29:15.920 cash in all this stuff so they're trying to get creative with how they're going to do this because

01:29:20.080 there's a whole bunch of movies that are just sitting on the shelf now that are done and ready and

01:29:24.620 could be blockbusters and they won't they're not releasing them because where are you going to

01:29:29.080 play it who's going to go I mean there's a whole bunch of the bond thing the new bond movie has

01:29:33.960 been delayed I don't know four or five times and I think now they're talking summer of 2021

01:29:39.540 uh so I don't know it's going to be interesting to see uh black black widow is another one uh with

01:29:47.460 scarlett johansson that uh that it's not going to be released uh all right 888-933-93 uh uh no it's

01:29:56.960 actually 888-727-BECK it's the toughest thing for you the pack ray unleashed phone number always gets

01:30:02.440 on the air on the glenbeck program when we're doing it that's okay at least one you can listen to the

01:30:11.900 uh pack ray unleashed uh get the podcast wherever you uh get your podcasts uh as well back in a

01:30:16.980 second this is the glenbeck program

01:31:25.120 it's pat and stew for glenn 888-727-BECK by the way speaking of uh movie releases and all that

01:31:43.620 you have disney plus do you watch it much with the kids i do have it i got it basically for the

01:31:48.600 mandalorian that's what i did but i and that's about all it's good for even though the mandalorians

01:31:53.600 just kind of it's okay yeah i haven't really fallen in love with it i can't i can't seem to

01:31:59.120 get over the hump of getting into it yeah i it's not the greatest show ever done uh it's not the

01:32:05.020 worst either yeah i wouldn't say it's it's not bad i just it's not sucking me in like i mean i'm the

01:32:10.600 type of person that goes to all the star wars movies at the theater yeah you know i'm not like

01:32:14.360 an obsessive about it but i do like to see them all in the theater and this this has been okay it's

01:32:18.500 just been okay but yeah we have i think they need more original programming on disney plus

01:32:23.680 it seems to be what's lacking for adults i mean you got all the commercial you got all the movies

01:32:29.020 for the kids and and you have the marvel stuff and the star wars stuff so you want the you want

01:32:34.940 disney plus to carry adult movies yes adult movies really that just seems like it doesn't seem into

01:32:39.760 character with you at all like you'd be i feel like you'd be the type of person who would say

01:32:43.620 don't watch adult movies but you want disney to create and carry adult movies that's that's

01:32:49.180 the pack right guarantee come out with the statement that they're not opposed to doing r-rated material

01:32:53.380 on disney plus uh wait aren't you disney don't they have like ties to hulu and all these other

01:33:01.500 services too yeah why don't they just put it on there you could right it's such a weird they just

01:33:06.620 are trying so hard to make disney this like edgy product it's like make it a happy product

01:33:10.860 you just create it they've had other brands this whole time uh you know that they've been able to

01:33:17.480 put you know whatever other material they want on there they just can't keep the disney thing pure

01:33:22.120 they just can't do it they can't bring themselves and they need to it should be i mean walt disney i

01:33:26.720 think he'd have a little bit of an issue with what's going on at disney um but also gina carano

01:33:32.540 one of the stars of the mandalorian uh she sparked outrage last week and when she posted messages 0.96

01:33:39.080 on social media get this here was her egregious sin i don't know why she's not in prison i really

01:33:45.500 don't she mocked wearing a mask oh my gosh yeah they want her fired now and she should that's it 1.00

01:33:52.280 just fired yeah well they want her fired i want her in prison i don't even want her to have a trial 1.00

01:33:58.800 i want her to go directly to prison uh it could be rikers island it could be leavenworth but it's got

01:34:06.260 to be a federal prison so incredible she tweeted out uh a meme that said breaking news democratic

01:34:15.660 government leaders now recommend we all wear blindfolds along with masks so we can't see

01:34:22.140 what's really going on how dare she how dare she oh my you're not allowed to have that opinion no

01:34:28.480 you're not you're not allowed to say those types of things and no you're not at least maintain your

01:34:33.180 employment have you switched over to parlor yet or or do you have a parlor account i think i have

01:34:38.340 the account i've never actually done anything with it have you been on it at all i'm just about to

01:34:42.820 start down that territory i know it's a big thing and like i like the idea of having a place where

01:34:47.760 they're not going to be censoring you i actually what i want to do and i have a different view and

01:34:52.120 like you know people you're like i should delete your twitter get off twitter what if we delete and get 0.66

01:34:55.720 off of all of them you know that's i want to be what i want to be is pat gray yes i aspire to be

01:35:04.000 pat gray on social media which is to things happen on your social media accounts i see it all the time

01:35:08.680 right you just don't know that they're happening i don't know and that's the world i want very true

01:35:14.840 so i don't see how it's brought anything of my wife was saying i thought you were going to post

01:35:20.020 something about our cookies on your instagram account i said instagram i mean i know i have one but

01:35:25.120 i've never been there so maybe somebody did maybe they didn't i don't know by the way that's

01:35:31.100 scrumptious cookie.com we should uh by the way yes that's the best cookie in the world and i it is and

01:35:35.600 i'm ordering some for my thanksgiving which i am actually going to be holding even though

01:35:39.260 andrew cuomo says not yeah but just you and your immediate family who lives at your house right yeah

01:35:44.700 uh no i'm gonna be seeing other people murderer we're gonna do our best to make sure we don't kill

01:35:49.320 each other murderer um but if we kill each other if we do at least the last thing we do is eat

01:35:54.600 scrumptious cookie dot com so that's that's not a bad thing i will say that's gonna be good

01:35:59.000 but it is it is that weird constant pressure to every time someone says something uh that is right

01:36:07.540 leaning to act as if they must be ostracized from society and it's funny because this is such a it's

01:36:14.900 like this cancel culture thing is a new thing to most people it's not new to us we've been going

01:36:19.160 through this for a million years i remember the first like you know uh left-wing media watchdog

01:36:25.500 posts about things that we said and you know this is back and gosh it's got to be when was that two

01:36:31.760 thousand you know four three it's a long time ago i feel like it was iraq war related one of the first

01:36:39.200 ones for some reason and we were talking about it and like we had a guest on or something that

01:36:43.800 how dare this guest go on this glenn beck who is this glenn beck guy and we're sitting here going

01:36:48.740 like what is this we're are people really upset that we're having i thought we were all supposed

01:36:53.320 to have conversations with people and like we're not going to shame someone out of existence because

01:36:56.660 as a guest showed up on a show to to give us their viewpoint and that's when you know a lot of

01:37:02.760 that stuff started with talk radio this is the the social media cancel culture thing is just a

01:37:07.720 you know accelerated view of what used to happen to us every time we said anything on talk radio

01:37:13.360 i'm so used to it and so bored with being threatened of my job and my livelihood it doesn't even

01:37:19.220 register with me anymore but that's not that's not normal you know i mean people a lot of this

01:37:24.920 stuff targets regular people who are not in the media who have not had to deal with this for a

01:37:29.780 long time who are not public figures they're not used to it so they cave into it terrified yeah

01:37:34.780 they're terrified by it you know like you work at a restaurant and you post you know you post

01:37:40.080 something on your social media feed that seems friendly to a conservative cause and you get

01:37:45.180 berated out of society for it and you're not allowed to know what you can't sell pizza anymore

01:37:50.080 i mean how amazing would that be and it could happen for this uh mandalorian actress to lose her 0.99

01:37:56.080 job on mandalorian because she said uh something negative about mask wearing how ridiculous is that

01:38:04.300 really that inane a comment could actually lose somebody their livelihood yeah amazing and it's

01:38:12.200 not about mask wearing right it's about democrat versus republican left versus right i mean go back

01:38:18.960 if you go back to march what you would find is you could probably go back and find this stuff on

01:38:22.940 twitter you'd find conservatives posting memes about why don't we just open the economy and wear masks

01:38:27.600 and you'd find uh liberals attacking them and saying how dare you the is the cdc is telling us not to

01:38:35.360 wear masks and the same sort of threats will be made about people's livelihoods and everything else

01:38:41.880 yep this is so i mean the tribal thing is so overplayed at this point i mean people have been

01:38:46.900 saying oh this is too tribal for so long it's almost not even a point to be made but it's

01:38:50.580 so true the left will attack anybody if it they were in front of congress they were writing letters

01:39:00.540 about how bad dominion voting systems were like a year ago yeah and they were the reason they were

01:39:06.060 saying it which is hilarious is because a venture capital firm bought dominion and these those are

01:39:12.960 venture capital they're evil capitalists and they probably will try to fix votes against republicans

01:39:18.620 and here we are now i you know i look i don't think i'll you know again we'll see what happens

01:39:24.200 with the claims on this stuff obviously but didn't plan out for anything for the left right if anything

01:39:29.340 we've seen the claims go the opposite way and now it's crazy to bring anything up dominion is basically

01:39:34.880 god if they they are basically they are unfallible you should never question them it's it's you're a heathen

01:39:41.480 if you do and that is it's so ridiculous how predictable this stuff gets you know what the left is

01:39:48.460 going to say every time a new subject comes out and they will reverse themselves completely in a

01:39:54.540 matter of weeks and just act as if the old position didn't exist are we just supposed to forget that

01:40:03.240 you guys just spent four years saying the president was not legitimate unbelievable are we really just

01:40:08.880 supposed to like ignore that that occurred now i i don't know that the right reaction is to now say

01:40:13.620 everything else that ever happens in an election that republicans lose is illegitimate i don't think

01:40:18.400 that's a good response to it but the bottom line is they were saying all of these things very very

01:40:25.320 recently in fact they were warning hillary clinton was saying don't accept the results yeah yeah but how

01:40:32.460 old were you early early in 2020 i mean or mid or late 2020 or late how old were you then i don't even

01:40:40.020 remember those times i don't think i was born 888-727-BECK uh more glenn patent stew for glenn

01:41:53.360 all right we're gonna get into uh the momia abu jamal situation with uh colin kaepernick coming up

01:42:12.760 here in a few minutes uh you you won't believe it uh but first over the weekend uh joe biden asked a

01:42:19.720 very simple question at the end of one of his little press conferences or statements uh and

01:42:25.440 it didn't go well for the person asking the question and just understand uh and uh in my oval

01:42:33.400 office you're me casa you casa i'm gonna need you i hope we're gonna spend a lot of time together

01:42:40.900 okay well okay thanks everybody for coming in mr mr biden the covid task force said it's safe for

01:42:50.180 students to be in class are you going to encourage unions to cooperate more to bring kids back to

01:42:55.780 classroom sir oh what a brutal question

01:42:58.700 okay so he's put off by the fact that the reporter at the end of his little thing there

01:43:07.520 uh just kind of yelled out a question and he asked him why are you the only one who ever asked

01:43:14.460 me questions at the end uh that's a really great question from biden why indeed when it happens

01:43:21.220 every single day multiple times a day to the president people are shouting did you guys played

01:43:29.340 i think uh last friday that unbelievable uh situation where he wrapped up a conference i think it was

01:43:36.620 pence who got done speaking turned around walked out of the room and they are just screaming hate

01:43:43.620 questions at him uh continuing even after he left the room and shut the door they're still yelling at him

01:43:50.780 so that's what that's what the trump administration goes through every day biden can't handle one

01:43:57.240 one question about lockdowns just really incredible and why don't people do that to him

01:44:06.360 that's a good it's a really good question we should examine that especially after he's coming

01:44:11.400 out like look you guys open arms for you open door policy coming in now get out get out you 0.96

01:46:03.880 uh colin kaepernick's new obsession is freeing mumia will be is the cop killer that pops up every once

01:46:13.180 in a while because celebrities all want him out of jail because all he did was uh execute a police

01:46:19.740 officer does he have to spend the rest of his life in prison making up for that have we gotten to the

01:46:24.840 point as a society that where you just can't execute people and and then just after a few years of paying

01:46:31.240 for it uh you're you're let go and you can go do whatever you want now i've given back his voting

01:46:38.080 rights given back his freedom so that's what a lot of people want and i i don't understand exactly

01:46:45.420 why now mumia has maintained his innocence this whole time because this happened in what what was

01:46:51.860 it the 90s no it's like 81 oh okay it's been a long time and there are just a lot of people who

01:46:58.720 think well it's too long he's been in prison almost 40 years let him go yeah well that's not even what

01:47:04.160 they're saying they're just saying oh he didn't do anything at all that's true that's really what

01:47:07.220 that's true and they've been arguing this for a very long time he's been a big celebrity cause

01:47:11.740 he's been a socialist and communist like act actual socialist and communist stated party cause

01:47:18.320 for a very long time this is one of their those names that pops up over and over again because they 1.00

01:47:23.880 think they have a case of why he's innocent of course obviously colin kaepernick is an idiot 0.99

01:47:27.540 and he believes every single bit of this uh he's also a terrible quarterback i don't know if anyone 1.00

01:47:32.100 else knows this uh but yeah very terrible quarterback and uh not exactly a brain that

01:47:37.260 performs better than his abilities um he is just as confused by facts regarding police violence as he

01:47:45.180 is by defenses and that is a problem for colin kaepernick as he analyzes these things yeah and it

01:47:51.540 is why he's not in the nfl anymore it's it's not because he uh he he thinks black lives matter

01:47:58.500 everybody knows black lives matter so that's not the reason he's not in the nfl no and they try to 0.97

01:48:03.680 make it the reason but it isn't it's easy to prove in fact in that the other people who were who are

01:48:10.640 good players or mediocre players like eric reed who's a run-of-the-mill mediocre uh defensive back

01:48:18.320 who did the same things that colin kaepernick did i don't believe he ever wore socks with pigs on them

01:48:24.340 for cops but i do believe he was taking a knee at the exact same time on the same team

01:48:28.780 has maintained his career for multiple years afterward you know malcolm jenkins who is a

01:48:33.740 on the same made many of the same points although i would say more effectively than colin kaepernick

01:48:39.520 uh has just was just rewarded with a massive free agent contract and he's one of the best safeties in

01:48:45.260 the league and he's been able to keep his job without any problems even though he's had all these

01:48:49.180 opinions the nfl is running non-stop commercials that are being produced by the national football

01:48:56.380 league basically endorsing these positions that colin kaepernick is taking yeah all we need to do

01:49:00.840 is work on racism or you know cops are we i think believe they said the history is complicated of

01:49:06.400 course that's true but i mean it doesn't mean that this is a sensible um reaction but the nfl has

01:49:12.720 virtually turned their pr department over to the social justice warriors now it's just here do

01:49:20.180 whatever you want with it that's kind of what they're doing um and it shouldn't be that way and

01:49:25.920 there are people who are trying to correct the record here michael smirconish uh has been following

01:49:31.280 this for a long time wrote a book about uh mumia and what the situation was with the officer's widow

01:49:39.380 and so he takes on uh that little issue of uh of colin kaepernick defending him and wanting him out

01:49:49.620 of prison here's what he said and mine i suggest that when it comes to mumia abu jamal you are

01:49:54.260 similarly out of your depth i see that you've just called for the immediate release of this

01:49:58.940 convicted cop killer claiming that he was framed by a racist police department for the 1981 murder

01:50:04.800 of officer danny faulkner this is a subject i know a little something about you could say that

01:50:09.320 i literally wrote the book this book so here's the short version based on trial testimony

01:50:15.620 on december 9 1981 at about 4 a.m 25 year old daniel faulkner was executed while making what seemed

01:50:22.800 like a routine traffic stop faulkner pulled over the brother of abu jamal aka wesley cook who was

01:50:29.740 driving his car the wrong way on a one-way street abu jamal was then working as a taxi driver he saw the

01:50:36.020 police stop from across the street and four eyewitnesses testified at trial as to what

01:50:40.480 happened next just their testimony portrayed a horrific sequence abu jamal ran across the street

01:50:46.280 shot officer faulkner in the back and then finally between the eyes before that final fatal shot

01:50:52.360 officer faulkner had himself discharged his gun hitting abu jamal in the stomach with that bullet

01:50:58.300 you could say that he confirmed the identity of his executioner when police arrived abu jamal was still

01:51:03.520 wearing his shoulder holster the murder weapon registered to him was next to him on the ground

01:51:08.760 at the murder scene he purchased it at a local sporting goods store ballistics tests verified that

01:51:14.380 the bullets found in abu jamal's gun were the same caliber brand and type as the fatal bullet removed from

01:51:20.900 officer faulkner's brain both men were taken to a local er faulkner was pronounced dead abu jamal was 0.51

01:51:26.840 heard by witnesses including a security guard to say i shot the mfer and i hope the mfer dies

01:51:32.760 so the case had eyewitnesses a ballistics match and a confession whenever i'm educating someone

01:51:38.180 about the case in addition to what i've just told you i always like to underscore one fact abu jamal's

01:51:45.460 brother william cook he saw it all his words to police upon their arrival were i ain't got nothing

01:51:51.460 to do with it and he has never testified on his brother's behalf let me say that again the brother

01:51:57.180 of the man convicted of killing the cop has himself never taken the stand to tell a different story

01:52:03.240 and he was there at home in philadelphia abu jamal was never able to cultivate broad community support

01:52:10.120 people at home know what happened and never bought into the hollywood lore abu jamal will die in jail

01:52:16.820 a fate more civilized than that which he gave to danny faulkner so thank you mr kaepernick for listening

01:52:23.040 i should note you were invited to be on this program i was told that you aren't doing any

01:52:27.960 interviews on the subject you should know that maureen faulkner police officer danny faulkner's

01:52:32.060 widow would love to talk to you about the case will you take that meeting oh i'm sure he's probably on

01:52:39.080 his way to that meeting right now he actually plays a clip of kaepernick going through his case

01:52:44.040 and number one he's blatantly obviously reading it which you could excuse if he's trying to get the

01:52:49.300 case right but he's obviously doesn't know any of these facts he's just reading a script written for

01:52:54.720 him uh and you know this is the case with all of the stuff with kaepernick yeah he's a he's a he is

01:52:59.620 an embarrassment he is even if you believe generally speaking his case he's a terrible messenger for this

01:53:06.100 he is just legitimately hates the police and it has nothing to do with what they've done it has to do

01:53:12.420 with what his preconceived ideas are of what they've actually uh done and you know he he said he's

01:53:18.740 continues to make this case and he's treated as if he's some truth teller the guy is filling the

01:53:25.580 society with lies on these topics over and over and over again and then you know so many just just

01:53:33.520 embrace it you know he's he's a celebrity and and and you know people just even smirk onish in the

01:53:39.640 segment um says well you know i don't really know much about football but i'm i i bet it is the

01:53:44.220 reason you're not in the nfl because you've taken these stances i i promise you it is not oh my gosh

01:53:48.660 it is not no he is just a terrible quarterback that had an awful awful career arc um starting from a

01:53:56.280 of an incredibly talented team that he was able to uh bring to uh some level of success early in his

01:54:04.580 career uh and then a an awful fall off as soon as the the talent dropped dropped away and a guy who

01:54:12.060 had who's literally the worst quarterback in the league when he left the people who were worse than

01:54:17.360 him had never played again and the people there are people who finished ahead of him in quarterback

01:54:22.580 rating uh in multiple advanced uh analytics measures that never played again because they

01:54:28.420 were so bad and sadly that's something you're never going to hear on espn no they act as though

01:54:33.240 this guy is one of the great quarterbacks of all time and it's such an injustice that he's not in

01:54:38.460 the league right now really look at the stats and check into the things stew just said they're all true

01:54:47.560 it doesn't take that much research uh effort to to verify all of that information yeah there's a stew

01:54:54.040 does colin kaepernick episode of stew does america which you can of course subscribe on youtube too

01:54:58.840 uh but go watch that because that one i was very passionate about it i spent like a half an hour

01:55:03.520 laying out the case against colin kaepernick not that he's wrong about police but that he sucked as 0.98

01:55:07.980 a player that's for some reason there are a lot of idiot athletes and idiot uh celebrities that have 1.00

01:55:16.480 dumb opinions about politics there's not even a it's almost not even worth pointing them out 1.00

01:55:20.620 the problem here is that this guy sucked as a quarterback that's the problem here and no one will 0.99

01:55:26.720 recognize how terrible he was oh it's just infuriating and even so the league has bent over 0.55

01:55:32.880 backwards for him they want him back in the league so badly he just won't come back he doesn't want to

01:55:39.040 play in the nfl anymore because he could have a job this year for sure this year with all the blm

01:55:44.480 pressure are you kidding me if he wanted a job he'd be in the nfl right now the league organized a

01:55:52.040 league-wide tryout to try to force just for him to come back in the league and he didn't show up for

01:55:57.780 it and why didn't he show up because he didn't want the job no he doesn't so why would you play

01:56:01.880 weaseled out why would you play why would you risk injury why would you train hard why would you

01:56:06.480 risk failure i mean it would it be racist when the when a white safety intercepts him

01:56:11.920 like i bet it would why go through this whole process if you're colin kaepernick when you can make

01:56:17.180 millions of dollars for doing nothing he gets to sit around and have this uh this force field around

01:56:24.960 him he's protected from every dumb thing he says and he does nothing for all of his money now why

01:56:31.940 work for your money when your money is just handed to you for nothing that's the life of colin kaepernick 0.90

01:56:38.060 right now yeah he got 20 million dollars from nike you know he won't admit that though he doesn't say

01:56:44.720 how much money he got because he gets to complain about the wealthiest one percent still right while

01:56:49.280 he's you know while he's collecting this cash no one knows exactly how much money there's been rumors

01:56:53.900 of millions and millions of dollars but no one knows exactly because he won't say why wouldn't he say

01:56:59.160 because people would look at well where are your charitable donations are you donating this money to

01:57:03.560 these causes no he's not doing anything uh you know maybe i'm sure he has some some uh headline

01:57:10.420 donations that he can you know point to but generally speaking he's he's thwarted those efforts

01:57:15.840 he people have tried to come up with actual solutions and and and programs that will help

01:57:22.220 this problem and he rejects them he calls them sellouts he i mean the guy is a terrible human being

01:57:28.660 in my opinion and uh and a terrible quarterback in a factual opinion it's got nothing to do with opinion 0.99

01:57:35.440 it's just laying out the facts he's terrible the reason he's not in the league is because he's sucked 0.61

01:57:41.400 at football that's why he's not in the league it's got nothing to do with his skin color there there are 0.88

01:57:46.280 other african-americans that somehow hold on to their jobs in this league multiple i've seen several

01:57:51.940 i've watched the sport and several times i've seen african-american players holding on to their jobs in it

01:57:57.980 and you know what when you look at the percentages of of political opinion

01:58:01.280 it's odds are many share his political thoughts yet somehow they are able to keep their jobs when

01:58:09.220 colin kaepernick can't keep his it's really weird really sad stew how shy you are on this subject that

01:58:15.200 you really won't share your opinion on it you know it's sad uh all right well let me tell you about

01:58:23.200 the holidays you're gonna have a you know look you might think to yourself it's cold i can't use my

01:58:27.520 rec tech right now can't go outside it's freezing what am i gonna do what if you were able to put

01:59:28.820 their newsletter r-e-c-t-e-q rec tech rec tech with a q r-e-c-t-e-q dot com you're listening to glenn

01:59:38.440 back uh pat and stew for glenn on the glenn back program 888-727-b-e-c-k uh despite the efforts the

01:59:50.700 best efforts of uh the gop almost i mean they came pretty close to reclaiming control of the house 0.98

01:59:57.840 it's amazing which nobody expected the only person who said anything like that to me and all the stuff

02:00:03.780 that i read on the election was david barton really david barton was the only one i saw that actually

02:00:09.020 made a legitimate case so they could come close in the house and he was i mean he was right they

02:00:12.000 came really close and they flipped what 12 seats dude i don't know the exact number last week it was

02:00:17.140 12 might even be more than that now but it's pretty crazy yeah i mean however nancy pelosi is going to 0.99

02:00:24.140 continue as speaker of the house it looks like two it's 222 to 210 right now with three outstanding

02:00:29.600 still uh it's really close so it's gonna be one of the closest if it's not the closest it's one of

02:00:33.600 the closest margins uh ever a minority margin in history um which is pretty especially for a new 0.96

02:00:39.560 president coming when they thought they were gonna pick up a whole bunch yeah they thought

02:00:43.400 it was gonna make it easier i heard estimates as high as 30 yeah i'm surprised to have this past

02:00:49.000 the path of nancy pelosi to speaker is as easy as it seems it's going to be i mean she almost she

02:00:54.200 had 15 democrats vote against her last time yeah and why because they were they were not they were not

02:01:01.860 in control the way they thought they should be and they're certainly not now yeah they lost i mean

02:01:06.600 these are mostly central uh or center democrats that were saying like you're not doing a good job

02:01:12.280 yeah uh and there's of course the left wing as well the the sort of aocs of the world who don't like

02:01:18.620 pelosi for other reasons and so you'd think there could be some sort of pushback against pelosi's

02:01:23.760 speaker but so far she seems to be cruising toward it now that's bad for the country but it's not bad

02:01:29.220 for sales of nancy pelosi sucks pens which we made as a pretty much a joke after the after the uh

02:01:38.560 impeachment she signed it with the special pen that had her signature on it in gold so we made 0.96

02:01:43.140 replica pens with her signature on it and also the word sucks after it so it just says nancy pelosi

02:01:48.280 sucks on the pen and it's they're actually really nice pens and it's a true statement it is true 0.72

02:01:53.060 your pen is speaking the truth without you even using it literally no one can deny it yeah it's 1.00

02:01:58.160 impossible to deny that nancy pelosi sucks well you're an idiot if you try to right right i mean 1.00

02:02:02.800 you can't do it on based on fact uh so nancy pelosi sucks pen is the place to go they've been out of 1.00

02:02:08.820 stock now for a couple months because we had some supply issues we got we sold a ton of these things

02:02:14.380 if you'd like one for the holidays they are back in stock for a very limited time oh nice until they

02:02:18.820 run out nancy pelosi sucks pen.com uh it is the ultimate stocking stuffer i will say for for that 0.72
