The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ 5⧸5⧸22

00:00:00.000 So, you know, at first you were like, I'm the best Mormon, and then you did that.

00:00:04.420 Listen to my story.

00:00:05.480 I'm the best Mormon of all the Mormons.

00:00:07.420 I didn't say that.

00:00:08.380 And that's pretty much what your Romney rant was.

00:00:10.800 I'm a better Mormon.

00:00:12.420 I'm a better American than Mitt Romney.

00:00:14.940 And the dog food story needed more time.

00:00:18.760 Yes.

00:00:19.160 Clearly a five-minute story in a three-minute period.

00:00:23.080 But we're going to let you decide because here's the podcast.

00:00:25.560 Oh, that was the podcast intro?

00:00:26.780 I thought we were just talking.

00:00:27.460 I thought so, too, but Sarah's looking at me like a podcast, and so I'm like, yep, that's it.

00:00:32.080 Because I'm not doing it over again.

00:00:33.540 This is as good as it gets.

00:00:35.360 Good luck with the show today.

00:00:44.380 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:00:51.560 Oh, my goodness.

00:00:52.680 I don't know what to do because yesterday there was another signal that I'm in a place I don't recognize, some sort of parallel universe.

00:01:07.620 I'm listening to the president, and he's saying, hey, we've reduced the deficit, and I've reduced it to $350 billion in my first year in office.

00:01:16.980 Oh, okay, so is this president reducing the deficit?

00:01:23.940 I mean, is this a good thing?

00:01:25.320 And then I realized, no, that's just a word play.

00:01:27.920 I didn't slip through a wormhole.

00:01:29.720 That's just him comparing what he's done to the worst year in American history for deficits.

00:01:35.920 So it's like I couldn't think of anything else I could do to spend money.

00:01:42.340 It's a pretty fancy trick.

00:01:43.600 You make everybody stay home and not go to work and then say you've lowered the deficit when they go back.

00:01:49.020 Right.

00:01:49.500 That's wow.

00:01:50.440 That's what an impressive job you did when you were all arguing for no one to have jobs.

00:01:56.080 And now you can sit back and say, oh, well, now that people are back to work, things are slightly better.

00:02:01.720 Right.

00:02:02.280 Congratulations.

00:02:02.840 And then yesterday I hear Mayorkas say, no, this administration's policies didn't cause border migration.

00:02:12.140 And I'm thinking to myself, so is it a coincidence that all of a sudden it gets really bad?

00:02:20.000 I mean, how do you explain that?

00:02:22.200 And then I realized we don't explain anything in this universe.

00:02:28.000 Logic.

00:02:29.020 What's that?

00:02:29.800 I'm sorry if I'm using that and you didn't slip to the wormhole with the rest of us.

00:02:34.020 I'll explain logic some other time.

00:02:38.100 And then the head of the Fed, where I come from, the head of the Fed, his main job is to keep inflation under control.

00:02:47.140 You know what I mean?

00:02:47.980 But apparently not in this one.

00:02:49.920 It's crazy.

00:02:50.940 You really should visit my my universe.

00:02:53.500 It's it's so much easier.

00:02:56.380 It really is.

00:02:57.920 Anyway, so the head of the Fed here in your universe, he came out yesterday and he said, the economy is actually doing quite well.

00:03:08.840 And then I realized you people believe it.

00:03:12.560 See where I come from?

00:03:13.620 We wouldn't have believed any of that.

00:03:16.900 But there's a few of us.

00:03:18.340 I'm sure.

00:03:19.060 I'm sure there's a few of us out there.

00:03:20.860 They're like, no, Glenn, I was in the same wormhole.

00:03:23.040 I woke up in an America I didn't even recognize. 0.58

00:03:25.680 And I thought it was just America. 0.91

00:03:27.020 Then I realized it's the whole freaking world. 0.74

00:03:29.660 And I'm like, yeah, yeah, I understand, brother. 0.60

00:03:32.460 I understand.

00:03:35.220 But did we slip in yet a crazier universe when President Biden said this about the GOP yesterday?

00:03:48.680 What are the next things that are going to be attacked?

00:03:51.920 Because this mega crowd is really the most extreme political organization that's existed in American history.

00:03:58.880 In American history.

00:04:00.860 I mean, that would include the Klan.

00:04:05.200 Maybe you guys didn't have that here.

00:04:06.980 Where I come from, the Klan was an organization started by the Democratic Party.

00:04:12.860 I know it's crazy, right?

00:04:14.800 It probably didn't happen here.

00:04:16.840 But we had one and people were like, that didn't start with a Democratic Party.

00:04:21.520 No, no, no.

00:04:21.960 I have the documents right across the yard.

00:04:24.480 Well, I used to yesterday.

00:04:25.520 I don't know if they're still in that vault because I don't know.

00:04:29.540 Did I start that thing?

00:04:30.860 You know, collecting American history here in this universe?

00:04:33.560 I don't know.

00:04:35.640 Gosh, I wonder who I'm married to.

00:04:38.980 Yeah.

00:04:40.480 Yeah.

00:04:41.660 I bet it's Blake Lively, right?

00:04:43.840 Sure it is.

00:04:44.760 Anyway.

00:04:45.000 So here's the thing.

00:04:47.160 It was started by the Democratic Party and it was to stop white people and black people from pushing for a vote and a voice for black people.

00:05:02.740 Isn't that weird?

00:05:04.740 Isn't that weird?

00:05:05.340 Isn't that weird?

00:05:06.360 Because that would be a political organization that was extreme because, you know, they were hanging people from trees.

00:05:15.820 And I don't mean legally either. 0.90

00:05:18.520 Their only crime was they thought black people should have a vote. 1.00

00:05:23.000 So that was pretty extreme, you know, but maybe it's just me where I come from. 0.77

00:05:30.700 We have this group called Antifa and the Black Bloc.

00:05:36.400 Man, you want to talk about extremists.

00:05:38.800 They want to destroy all of society.

00:05:45.860 They don't believe in freedom, really.

00:05:50.320 It's kind of like the Nazi Party, you know, where the Nazis were like, we're against the communists because they want slavery. 0.98

00:05:57.500 You know, and then the communists were like, we're against the Nazis because they're crazy. 0.99

00:06:02.120 We'll kill people in camps. 0.99

00:06:03.880 And they both did the same thing. 1.00

00:06:05.620 It's kind of like that.

00:06:07.720 In fact, it's exactly like that.

00:06:12.520 In fact, Antifa were the people that were saying that about the Nazis and the communists.

00:06:20.740 You know, they were like, we're communists.

00:06:22.500 We don't like these fascists.

00:06:24.420 It was them.

00:06:25.800 That's when they started Antifa, you know.

00:06:28.820 And then you had Black Lives Matter, at least in my universe. 0.97

00:06:32.580 That was pretty radical.

00:06:34.380 I mean, in my universe, maybe you don't remember this.

00:06:39.040 It didn't happen.

00:06:39.720 Thank goodness if it didn't happen in your universe.

00:06:41.980 But they burned the country almost to the ground over a summer.

00:06:46.520 No, it wasn't like a week-long thing.

00:06:48.900 It happened the entire summer.

00:06:51.520 And they, in my universe, the Democratic Party, they were so radical, they were actually bailing these people out of jail.

00:07:03.380 And then there was this guy, George Soros, who was getting people, you know, and putting them into positions of, like, the district attorney.

00:07:13.700 And those district attorneys wouldn't prosecute anybody.

00:07:17.300 And they were all Democrats.

00:07:19.380 Democrats, it was so extreme and so weird.

00:07:26.420 Again, not my original universe.

00:07:28.960 Because in my original universe, again, the government would have said, I don't care who you are or why you're rioting, you can't burn cities down.

00:07:40.620 And they all would have gone to jail.

00:07:41.940 Whether they were white, black, left, right, didn't matter in my universe.

00:07:47.060 So, you know who's also kind of extreme?

00:07:52.300 The black Hebrew Israelites.

00:07:55.400 Yeah, right?

00:07:57.640 Really extreme.

00:07:59.060 Or the Weather Underground.

00:08:00.520 Did you guys have that or do you only have the Weather Channel?

00:08:04.360 Because the Weather Underground was crazy.

00:08:07.780 Or the May 19th Communist Organization.

00:08:10.520 Or, or, or, or.

00:08:11.940 Now, maybe here, Louis Farrakhan is like, I don't know, a scientist or something.

00:08:19.340 I don't know.

00:08:19.940 I just got here, apparently, last night. 0.99

00:08:22.420 But in my universe, the guy is a crazy terrorist. 0.99

00:08:27.920 Okay? 1.00

00:08:28.140 The guy is nuts. 1.00

00:08:31.340 Big following. 1.00

00:08:33.520 Very extreme.

00:08:35.880 Very political.

00:08:37.160 In fact, the last universe I was in, wow, this is weird.

00:08:42.340 The same people that were bailing people out for BLM, you know, that thing that started all the fires in my universe.

00:08:49.520 They also, like, lock arms with Louis Farrakhan.

00:08:54.340 So, that's really weird.

00:08:55.900 Do you guys have Twitter here?

00:08:58.500 Ah, that's another story.

00:08:59.580 It's crazy.

00:09:01.580 How about the Black Panthers? 0.63

00:09:03.980 They were pretty bad.

00:09:05.940 You know what I'm saying?

00:09:07.420 They were pretty darn bad.

00:09:10.620 Maybe you don't, maybe you don't have them.

00:09:13.360 Or ELF.

00:09:14.820 Or ALF.

00:09:16.640 Oh.

00:09:17.520 Animal Liberation Front.

00:09:19.380 We had that.

00:09:21.120 The Communist Party USA.

00:09:23.800 That's a pretty bad extremist organization.

00:09:28.380 Let me tell you something.

00:09:29.180 Let me tell you something.

00:09:31.320 This is so crazy.

00:09:32.660 And you may not understand it because you're apparently from this.

00:09:35.620 Unless we all slipped through a wormhole last night.

00:09:37.940 But it's crazy because where I come from, when you're standing up for a thing, I don't know if you have it here.

00:09:47.300 It doesn't appear so.

00:09:48.660 We have something called the Constitution.

00:09:52.480 And what that entails is a bill of rights.

00:09:55.740 And so everybody has the same right.

00:09:58.700 You know what I mean?

00:09:59.560 And they don't even come from the government.

00:10:01.580 They come from, do you guys have God here?

00:10:04.000 Again, it doesn't seem like it.

00:10:05.420 But let me explain God at another time.

00:10:08.160 But we have a God that gives us rights.

00:10:11.300 And the government has nothing to do with it.

00:10:13.120 In fact, the Constitution says the government cannot do anything to harm these rights.

00:10:20.480 Okay?

00:10:20.840 It's a crazy idea.

00:10:22.300 You should look it up.

00:10:23.560 I don't know.

00:10:24.060 Maybe it'll be in a sci-fi book or something.

00:10:26.740 I don't know.

00:10:27.320 But we have these rights.

00:10:32.120 And then these people, they're mainly people that don't want anybody to have rights because they think they know best.

00:10:39.760 I know.

00:10:40.100 It's crazy.

00:10:40.800 And they're usually, you know, like, follow the science.

00:10:44.520 But they don't even do science.

00:10:46.260 You know?

00:10:46.520 They don't even.

00:10:47.220 It's like these people had never even read.

00:10:51.380 And then they're like, we've got to save the earth from people. 0.75

00:10:56.700 And they look at people like people are a disease, you know?

00:11:02.100 And they're like, this is the biggest problem.

00:11:04.580 We wouldn't have problems with people if we just didn't have people, you know?

00:11:09.520 And they don't recognize their people, too. 0.99

00:11:14.220 Oh, crap. 0.97

00:11:15.100 Are those people here, too? 0.99

00:11:18.680 Wow.

00:11:19.440 Well, in my universe, the ones who support the Constitution, they're not extremists.

00:11:26.600 Hmm.

00:11:27.980 When you say everybody should have the right to speak out, everybody should have the right to, you know, follow their own internal dictates.

00:11:39.480 You know, they should be able to go and we call it pursue your own happiness.

00:11:43.820 I know it's complex, but we believe in that, where I come from.

00:11:50.840 And those people weren't ever called extremists.

00:11:54.940 It was the people that wanted to destroy all of that that our president would have said is an extremist, you know?

00:12:03.600 But people standing up for the things that everybody believed, in fact, changed the entire world for the better.

00:12:11.500 You know, those people were just called normal.

00:12:15.340 It was the people who wanted to destroy all of that and the rights and say, like, you ready for this one? 0.99

00:12:24.520 Oh, crap. 0.99

00:12:25.000 I bet you have. 0.98

00:12:26.380 Do you have them here?

00:12:27.360 Because they were in the last universe.

00:12:28.640 People were like, men can have babies.

00:12:30.940 You don't have that because, no, you don't have that because I just heard Gavin Newsom and he just said, you know, men can't have babies.

00:12:38.800 So it's relax a little bit because at least this universe is not as crazy as the one I was in yesterday.

00:12:47.200 All right.

00:12:47.920 But those were the people that would be called extreme.

00:12:51.940 You know, people are like, there's no difference between a man and a woman.

00:12:55.180 I can't I can't define what a woman is because I can, you know. 0.99

00:13:02.520 And what's crazy is I grew up around like 300 million people just in my own country that were like, yeah, that's a woman.

00:13:13.980 Yeah.

00:13:14.940 See her over there. 1.00

00:13:16.040 That's a her. 0.98

00:13:17.020 See that over there. 0.89

00:13:18.200 That's a dude.

00:13:19.500 Even when the dude was wearing makeup and stuff, you could still go.

00:13:24.700 That's a dude.

00:13:26.360 Or that's a.

00:13:29.720 That's a dude, but she makes a fine looking woman. 1.00

00:13:32.840 You know what I mean?

00:13:34.200 We could do that.

00:13:38.260 And not be called extremist.

00:13:42.380 Well.

00:13:44.420 Good news is.

00:13:45.420 Even in this universe.

00:13:50.760 Nobody's spying on you.

00:13:51.860 You know, the government's not tracking your every move or.

00:13:56.560 You know.

00:14:00.200 And you still do have freedom of.

00:14:05.060 You know, I better check into this universe before I say any more.

00:14:08.640 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:14:15.380 This is the Glenn Beck program.

00:14:25.300 Mark in Georgia.

00:14:26.600 You're on the Glenn Beck program.

00:14:28.440 Welcome.

00:14:28.760 Hey, Glenn.

00:14:32.300 How are you, sir?

00:14:35.540 Did we lose you?

00:14:37.460 I think we lost him.

00:14:39.320 Mark.

00:14:40.120 All right.

00:14:40.680 Let's go to Dick in Alabama. 0.98

00:14:42.800 Hello, Dick.

00:14:44.820 Good morning, Glenn.

00:14:46.000 Real quick.

00:14:47.120 Short on time for you.

00:14:48.880 Two things.

00:14:49.580 I want to make one a prediction about the leaker at the Supreme Court.

00:14:53.360 And this is strictly a guess on my part.

00:14:55.560 I believe it was the new the newly appointed Supreme Court justice who leaked the information.

00:15:03.180 I'm not sure she would have had access.

00:15:06.020 She might have. 0.60

00:15:06.620 I mean, who knows?

00:15:07.260 She might have been also meeting with a biologist.

00:15:10.200 But anyway, go ahead.

00:15:12.320 But that's just I'm just saying.

00:15:14.160 But you and I, the public will never know.

00:15:16.780 If it was, then they'll put it on the back of someone down the line there.

00:15:22.120 You know, a stool pigeon to take the rap. 0.98

00:15:24.140 The other thing I wanted, the real reason I called you is I had dinner with a friend of mine.

00:15:28.340 Now I'm almost 69 years old.

00:15:29.980 I've got a friend I've been in business with for years, a long time ago.

00:15:34.520 He's struggling right now.

00:15:36.000 I'm retired.

00:15:36.820 He can't retire because of economic reasons.

00:15:39.780 But I had dinner with him the other night.

00:15:41.120 He lives in Atlanta.

00:15:42.000 I live here in Mobile, Alabama.

00:15:43.800 He he believes he is so liberal.

00:15:46.040 He's always been a liberal person.

00:15:47.940 He's originally from New Jersey.

00:15:49.600 His family still lives in New Jersey, but he and his wife live in Atlanta.

00:15:53.160 Anyway, we had dinner and he believes that Trump was in collusion with

00:15:59.900 the Russians, that everything that Joe Biden and the Democrats say is true.

00:16:05.220 And I guess and I guess the message I'm trying to give to you is, is he's in a shell and he

00:16:11.020 won't come out of that shell.

00:16:12.360 Right.

00:16:12.540 He said, I guess you listen.

00:16:13.800 I guess you just listen to Fox News.

00:16:15.440 And I said, OK, I said, that's not just who I listen to.

00:16:18.500 But let me ask you, who do you listen to?

00:16:20.640 And he said, oh, I listen to NPR.

00:16:22.520 I said, there's your problem right there.

00:16:24.160 You need to broaden your sources.

00:16:27.240 You're just living in a shell and you don't want to believe anything.

00:16:31.040 You don't want to listen to facts.

00:16:32.380 And then we got to talk about the election.

00:16:34.040 He said, I guess you let you get you believe the election was was rigged.

00:16:37.420 And I said, yes, as a matter of fact, I do.

00:16:39.500 And of course, he blew.

00:16:40.500 He tried to blow me out of the water on that.

00:16:42.080 And then I said, well, have you do you know a guy named Dinesh D'Souza?

00:16:45.720 Oh, no, I've never heard of him.

00:16:47.040 And what I'm trying to convey to you and your audience, Glenn, is these people live in a shell and they don't want to come outside that shell.

00:16:54.460 So, whoops, did we lose him?

00:16:56.520 Dick, I agree with you entirely.

00:17:00.380 However, I want to give the caveat just to be fair.

00:17:04.100 A lot of conservatives do, too.

00:17:06.540 You know, I read The New York Times every day.

00:17:08.520 I read The Washington Post.

00:17:11.200 I read things that I know I disagree with.

00:17:15.080 And I'm looking not necessarily for things that will open my eyes on, oh, my gosh, we've been lied to by, you know, our leaders.

00:17:28.440 I'm open to that.

00:17:30.060 But that's not what I'm reading for.

00:17:31.560 I'm reading for an understanding of how people are viewing things.

00:17:36.420 If we don't read the other side, then we become ignorant as well, because we're hearing ours.

00:17:44.240 We believe it.

00:17:45.000 But we can't say, no, wait, hang on just a second.

00:17:48.020 I know because you're reading The New York Times.

00:17:50.500 So you saw this story, this story in this story.

00:17:52.820 But what these stories left out, but they mentioned in one line.

00:17:58.740 We have the expanded part of that that changes the meaning of this story.

00:18:04.360 We have to, you know, that that's why I said about the the election.

00:18:11.440 We cannot watch Dinesh Souza's movie and then go to our friends and say, see, it was stolen.

00:18:21.660 You say you believe that 2016 Donald Trump stole the election, right?

00:18:28.480 OK, I don't.

00:18:30.920 But I believe that Dinesh Souza has made a very compelling case that the election was stolen in this particular way.

00:18:40.600 I'm not going to stand here and tell you I'm the authority because that's not our system.

00:18:46.780 Our system is the people standing up.

00:18:50.020 You have a different reason for it than I do.

00:18:52.180 But you probably also said that, you know, George Bush stole the election.

00:18:57.200 And then it was Donald Trump that stole the election.

00:19:00.980 Any time a Republican wins, you guys say they stole the election.

00:19:05.240 So why don't we do this?

00:19:07.800 Why don't we a investigate what happened?

00:19:11.080 You've already investigated 2020.

00:19:13.440 Now, you may not want to look at it, but all of the facts are there.

00:19:18.200 Even The New York Times says.

00:19:20.540 OK, so the facts are there.

00:19:22.660 That didn't happen.

00:19:23.440 And they spent four years investigating it.

00:19:26.640 And now we're investigating the investigators because it looks like they were in cahoots with Hillary Clinton.

00:19:33.880 But let's wait till all the facts are out.

00:19:37.380 Now there are some new facts on the table about this election.

00:19:40.640 I'm not talking about going back.

00:19:42.600 There's nothing in the Constitution, nothing in the Constitution that will cure this.

00:19:47.780 So we're facing something new.

00:19:51.140 But here's what I promise you.

00:19:52.860 And I think you know this, too.

00:19:54.760 If you have your set of facts and I have my set of facts on the election, we're never going to unite.

00:20:03.420 So how can we push our elected leaders on both sides to have an open, open hearing with all of the facts on it?

00:20:18.280 Because I will accept if it is a true, fair, open, no secret meetings.

00:20:25.020 There is an open expose on all of this where legitimate people are bringing legitimate evidence up because I want it fixed because I don't want a Republican president to rig a system.

00:20:42.520 And I don't want a Democrat to rig the system.

00:20:46.200 I don't want Elon Musk to rig the system.

00:20:48.780 I don't want Google to rig the system.

00:20:50.440 I don't want Russia to rig the system.

00:20:52.920 And we live in a world where technologically there's no reason for this.

00:21:02.480 This is what we need.

00:21:04.180 And there is a there's a story today that is coming from the Daily Beast.

00:21:11.800 Conspiracy theorists are already freaking out about the next pandemic as part of the so-called Great Reset.

00:21:18.580 Now, let me just I want to go through this next week, but let me just give you part of this.

00:21:23.520 In late 2020, conspiracy theorists started telling everyone who'd listen about a sinister plot called the Great Reset.

00:21:30.900 The global elites of the World Economic Forum had either co-opted or outright concocted the COVID-19 pandemic, they falsely claimed.

00:21:39.820 Then world leaders and technocrats, almost all of whom are supposedly active agents or compromised puppets of the forum,

00:21:48.080 adopted what conspiracy theorists see as a senseless and draconian policy like lockdowns,

00:21:55.120 ostensibly to curb the spread of the virus, but really to destabilize and traumatize the globe.

00:22:01.380 As the pandemic wound on, this deluded line of thinking went that the WEF and its acolytes would exploit chaos and fear

00:22:11.220 to lock in and expand the totalitarian powers they gained under the guise of protecting public health.

00:22:18.400 OK. I could take this paragraph apart in 700 different ways.

00:22:27.440 But here's the point I want to make on this today.

00:22:31.960 A, that's not what everybody is saying.

00:22:35.120 That's a small group and you've conflated a whole bunch of different things.

00:22:40.220 I mean, there are conspiracy theorists, again, who are still pushing that Trump stole the election and colluded with Russia.

00:22:51.060 We now know for fact that's not true.

00:22:54.440 There are still people who believe that Bush stole the election.

00:22:58.700 Even the New York Times own investigation proves that's not true.

00:23:03.840 But this article, by taking this snarky tone, only makes conspiracy theories stronger.

00:23:16.840 Because if you really want to debunk something, you need to say, look, we looked at this.

00:23:23.520 Here's what's true.

00:23:25.020 Here's what's not.

00:23:26.160 Yes, the W.E.F. was involved in a in a pandemic study called event 201.

00:23:35.920 But that doesn't give you evidence that this was planned.

00:23:43.120 But see, by saying there was no lab leak, the set of the science is settled.

00:23:49.100 When you know the science isn't settled on that, and by mocking anybody and shutting anybody down, that only gives credence in people's mind to see they are hiding something.

00:24:03.740 I bet it's because they planned it at event 201.

00:24:07.860 No.

00:24:09.860 No.

00:24:10.500 As the pandemic wound on, this deluded line of thinking went, that the W.E.L.F. and its acolytes would exploit chaos and fear and lock in and expand the totalitarian powers.

00:24:23.220 Well, isn't that never waste an emergency?

00:24:29.780 Isn't that the stated goal of people?

00:24:33.620 Isn't that exactly what Klaus Schwab said?

00:24:36.880 But by demeaning the W.E.F. and demeaning and saying there are no bunch of nobodies, then why does everyone in power and why does every prime minister and president, why does the president of China speak at all of their global conferences?

00:24:58.540 If they're nobodies, they're clearly not nobodies.

00:25:02.960 Now, is what they're doing going to actually bring this to pass?

00:25:11.980 Well, let's look at the evidence.

00:25:15.000 I lay it all out in my book, and I only use them as sources, no conspiracies.

00:25:22.800 And it's left for you to decide because the media is not doing their job.

00:25:30.140 You know why we don't have faith in our institutions?

00:25:33.680 Because we don't have anyone actually standing guard to keep those institutions honest.

00:25:42.480 That's why when you say the biggest culprit in the downfall of America may just well be the media, it's probably true.

00:25:52.100 We all know people are people.

00:25:58.040 The best people will steal.

00:26:00.520 The best people will steal if they're encouraged to feel injustice and if no one's watching them.

00:26:09.980 And if somebody gets away with it and then they're actually praised for it, other people will go, well, jeez, if he's doing it, why aren't I? 0.98

00:26:20.900 I feel stupid. 0.87

00:26:22.380 Why am I not doing it? 0.98

00:26:23.800 That should be the job of the media and our churches and our own moral self.

00:26:34.900 But every institution is up for grabs right now.

00:26:40.840 And that's why no solution can come from jamming it down people's throats.

00:26:46.400 We have to have open and honest debate and open and transparent investigations and let the chips fall where they may.

00:26:58.760 I said yesterday, and I would encourage you to say this out loud right now, if it's found out that it is a conservative that leaked this document from SCOTUS, I am just as pissed and I want the same ramifications, which is disbarment.

00:27:20.500 If they happen to be an attorney, a clerk, I want disbarment and I want some sort of internal punishment.

00:27:29.860 It's not against the law, but I want that person.

00:27:33.300 We need shame, at least on that.

00:27:36.160 And I say that if it's a person on the right or a person on the left, it was wrong.

00:27:43.420 Those are the lines we need to start drawing because this isn't about left and right.

00:27:48.060 It's about right and wrong, and there is no right and wrong anymore, at least up at the upper levels.

00:27:55.660 They're still right and wrong in our own families.

00:27:58.440 You know right and wrong.

00:28:02.060 Those are our lines.

00:28:05.140 The best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:28:07.060 Levi Strauss and company, according to The Blaze, on Wednesday, joined the long line of corporations releasing statements affirming abortion rights and pledging to pay the travel expense of employees seeking an abortion.

00:28:27.240 In a statement titled protecting reproductive rights, a business imperative, the apparel company said the business leaders are responsible for protecting the health and well-being of our employees.

00:28:44.580 And that includes protecting reproductive rights and abortion access.

00:28:49.800 You know, Levi's, most of America was done with you when you came out and said, we want to be the uniform of the revolution.

00:29:03.060 And you were showing pictures of Antifa.

00:29:05.760 No, no, that was special.

00:29:07.220 That was great.

00:29:07.860 That was very American of you to do.

00:29:11.080 We know this is fraught conversation.

00:29:13.580 It's not something we enter into lightly.

00:29:15.480 You're from San Francisco.

00:29:20.220 You don't have a problem saying this, but women make up 58 percent of our global workforce. 1.00

00:29:26.660 And in recent years, numerous employees have expressed to leadership their growing alarm over the rollback of all forms of reproductive care.

00:29:35.780 Well, OK, so, wow, 58 percent of their global workforce.

00:29:43.640 Now, I know because I did everything I could to save a great company called the Cone Mills.

00:29:55.440 They were the ones that made the original 501, the original denim that is really the reason why you put on a pair of jeans now and it doesn't feel the same as those original because they were made by the Cone Mills.

00:30:07.620 They went out because, yeah, Levi said, let's go to China.

00:30:13.600 OK, all right.

00:30:14.580 Well, it was the thing back then.

00:30:16.740 Everybody was doing it.

00:30:18.720 And, you know, if everybody's jumping off a bridge and landing in China, well, why don't we do it, too?

00:30:25.840 But they're very concerned about reproductive rights and the rights of women in their global workforce.

00:30:35.360 OK, all right.

00:30:37.620 So they still do have, you know, employees here in America and they they still have some plants here in America, some people that are making stuff for Levi's.

00:30:47.780 They have 12 mills and and manufacturing plants here in America.

00:30:53.680 That's 12.

00:30:54.680 There's about a thousand that are employed in these plants.

00:30:59.280 Now, that's not all Levi stuff, but they're making some of the stuff for Levi's in 12 different places.

00:31:06.660 You know, if you go to Levi Strauss dot com, you'll see that they say we make our products all over the world.

00:31:14.580 We're a global product.

00:31:15.660 We make them in America, Japan, Italy, China and other countries. 0.94

00:31:22.840 Well, I decided I'm going to dig in a little bit more because one of the things I really don't like is hypocrites. 0.89

00:31:30.740 Now, conservatives have said a long time. 0.90

00:31:33.380 The only ones that really can be hypocrites are those who are trying to do better and they don't always make it.

00:31:39.440 All right.

00:31:40.700 So let's just say let's be fair.

00:31:45.240 It's not fair to call them hypocrites because maybe they're trying to be better and they just haven't.

00:31:52.020 For instance, you know, I don't agree with slavery, so I don't make my products in China.

00:32:03.400 But I do make my products in Bangladesh.

00:32:06.820 And that was a kind of slave wages.

00:32:08.720 Yeah, I know.

00:32:09.340 But at least they don't make it in China.

00:32:11.900 OK, so they care about reproductive rights. 0.98

00:32:15.080 So they have 12 plants here in the United States, seven in Japan, 14 in Italy.

00:32:23.580 Wow.

00:32:24.100 That's not very much.

00:32:26.440 What do they have in China?

00:32:27.640 The last country, they say, before other.

00:32:33.540 Well, they have 150 plants in China.

00:32:36.300 That employs well over 100,000 people.

00:32:43.640 100,000 in China.

00:32:45.620 100,000 in China.

00:32:45.880 1,000 here.

00:32:47.080 Now, if you were to make a determination of priorities based on that information, what would you conclude?

00:32:52.880 Well, I would say maybe it's just a flu.

00:32:56.660 I mean, where else are they making stuff?

00:32:58.280 And, you know, Pakistan, that's great for women's rights. 1.00

00:33:01.860 You know that.

00:33:03.000 I mean, the only place it could be possibly better is the stability now, to quote the Biden administration, the stability of Afghanistan.

00:33:10.760 But they also make it in Bahrain and Bangladesh.

00:33:15.340 They make them all over the world.

00:33:18.380 Nothing even like Pakistan. 1.00

00:33:19.940 They have 19.

00:33:21.320 So, they only have 12 here.

00:33:23.320 But in Pakistan, they have 19, where women are treated so well. 0.97

00:33:27.720 Now, if they were doing it in Pakistan, but they weren't doing it in China, I'd be like, okay, that's, you know, people calling, you know, hypocrite because they're not doing everything, you know, in totally.

00:33:41.720 But they've made progress because they didn't go to China, the worst offender that has forced abortions until recently when they're like, oh, you have to have more children because we're running out of children. 0.64

00:33:58.380 You know, that doesn't seem like, you know, I don't want Mao standing in the bedroom with a gun to my head going, you're going to have children.

00:34:07.260 You're going to make love tonight, or, you know, you're not going to make love.

00:34:12.400 I don't want Mao in my bedroom.

00:34:15.400 Levi's doesn't seem to have a problem with it.

00:34:18.120 Okay.

00:34:18.840 So, they'll do business where they had a one-child policy, and now a policy that I don't know, maybe you need eight.

00:34:27.720 But the government is definitely, and this is a very carefully chosen word, dictates what your reproductive organs are going to be doing this month. 0.93

00:34:41.940 And 58% of their global workforce, well, a good portion of that global workforce, and seemingly, I mean, it could be as much as half of their entire workforce, is in China.

00:35:02.460 Huh. 0.76

00:35:03.220 That doesn't make Levi's a hypocrite. 0.98

00:35:10.020 That makes Levi's a liar. 0.93

00:35:14.780 They're lying to you.

00:35:17.800 You can't do business with China at this scale and say, I care about reproductive rights. 0.99

00:35:28.000 This is something we care passionately about.

00:35:30.620 No, no, you're a San Francisco progressive.

00:35:36.860 You've backed all of the radicals, including Antifa.

00:35:42.400 You have a different understanding of what liberty is.

00:35:46.560 And I have a different understanding of what products are.

00:35:52.420 I like Levi's.

00:35:53.780 I used to, because they were good.

00:35:55.920 They had great denim. 0.99

00:35:56.820 I don't wear Levi's anymore, because you suck. 0.99

00:35:59.200 But I really am motivated to tell everybody what liars you are on top of it. 0.99

00:36:07.620 Not only do you suck, not only have you stood for things that are not American, when you were the quintessential American brand. 0.99

00:36:14.480 Not only did you stand for things that weren't American, now you're lying to us about the importance of women when, yeah, they're dropping babies in the rice patties while they're working. 1.00

00:36:27.820 Right, Levi's.

00:36:29.080 I got it.

00:36:29.840 Okay, let's go to Delwin in Utah, 888-727-BECK.

00:36:35.960 Hi, Delwin.

00:36:37.980 Hello, Glenn.

00:36:39.160 Glad to be on.

00:36:40.220 Thank you, sir.

00:36:40.940 I'm just finishing up my milk chores.

00:36:44.600 Hey, the thing I wanted.

00:36:46.860 I love it.

00:36:48.600 Yes, sir.

00:36:49.100 I'm a radical, because I attended our convention, and everybody's asking, what's happening to Utah?

00:36:58.960 Well, what's happening to Utah is deceit.

00:37:02.180 And we have two candidates in District 1 that are running against one candidate that is very conservative, being supported by Rob Bishop.

00:37:16.780 And one of the candidates, Blake Moore, is being groomed by Romney.

00:37:21.760 Yeah.

00:37:22.700 Romney is a real problem in Utah.

00:37:26.000 And he has a lot of very influential and very powerful and people who write big, big checks because, you know, they want to be inclusive with everyone.

00:37:37.580 Where, I'm sorry, I don't know when the Constitution of the United States became hate speech.

00:37:44.980 I don't know when it became radical to stand up, especially in Utah.

00:37:49.820 May I remind you, a state that was built by people who were chased out of the United States and their first act, the first act, when Brigham Young got there, was to hold a parade where, and I can't remember which was which, but the women carried the Constitution and the men carried the Declaration of Independence.

00:38:13.880 And the message was, do not blame this on the system.

00:38:18.740 People are people, but we believe in these principles.

00:38:24.220 Hmm.

00:38:24.980 So, those people, those people are now, some of them, treating people who believe in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, those people are radicals.

00:38:40.900 Dangerous radicals.

00:38:42.720 I'm sorry, just as I know in my religion, you know, I can't tolerate and stand around when evil is there.

00:38:54.500 It chases away the spirit.

00:38:56.360 Okay.

00:38:56.580 Can't, can't participate in it.

00:38:58.960 Well, I believe the same thing is true with the spirit of destruction of the family, of the Constitution, of the Declaration of Independence.

00:39:11.500 And, you know, I just don't know how people could, you know, cozy up to Planned Parenthood and abortionists and, well, that's just my job.

00:39:31.160 No, I know what my job is.

00:39:33.260 I know what my job is.

00:39:34.780 And I'm not, I'm very careful to make sure that I limit the number of people who are actively against the teachings of my faith.

00:39:50.060 Okay.

00:39:51.220 I don't, I don't associate with people who are actively trying to pull, you know, the gospel apart.

00:40:00.760 Because in my faith, there's some consequences on that, or are there.

00:40:05.180 But anyway, I'm with you, Delwin.

00:40:09.180 Thank you for milking the cows.

00:40:11.040 And thank you for doing everything you can to expose who these people are that are around Mitt Romney.

00:40:18.480 Mitt Romney is a danger to our Constitution.

00:40:22.220 And I say it for this one reason alone.

00:40:25.080 When you have a guy whose grandfather was the president of the church at one point.

00:40:34.500 And he's only saying the things that the president of the church said.
