00:00:36.160 um one of the things we we took on today was uh what's his name paul krugman moron um talking 0.89

00:00:45.920 about a demagification of america like the denazification of germany those are his words

00:00:52.420 i take you through what that means because he said we should use that as a template okay let's

00:00:57.020 take him at his own word. What does he mean by that? Also, there's stories going around about

00:01:04.360 Candace Owens being in Russia with Alexander Dugan and Putin. The story is not about her.

00:01:10.280 The story is about what's actually happening to podcasters here in America that are on our side

00:01:15.880 and what the plan is from Russia's side. Also, one law, one law. Talk about Henry Nowak and what

00:01:25.700 happened to him and the riots that happened or the the mobs if you will that push back

00:01:32.240 against out of control police in great britain what is the solution there all of this and so

00:01:38.180 much more on today's podcast you're listening to the best of the blend back program

00:01:50.960 i can't believe it's been four years since the overturn of roe but tragically abortions have

00:01:58.900 continued to rise today the abortion pill accounts for more than 60 percent of all abortions last

00:02:05.160 year alone over 1.1 million babies lost their lives and that is why the work of pre-born network

00:02:10.860 clinics is more urgent than ever before every day moms are facing unplanned pregnancies and they

00:02:16.100 walk through pre-born's doors they search for hope instead of pressure and fear they're met

00:02:20.480 with love and kindness and compassion and through a free ultrasound moms meet their babies for the

00:02:25.540 very first time it was like the beginning of my healing journey they do an ultrasound and

00:02:30.940 that's when everything changed because when i saw my baby and when i heard her heartbeat that was it

00:02:37.980 just 28 sponsors one ultrasound 140 will help rescue five babies donate dial pound 250 say

00:02:49.160 the keyword baby that's pound 250 baby or visit preborn.com slash back preborn.com slash back

00:02:54.620 sponsored by preborn this is the best of the glenbeck program

00:02:59.540 i want to talk to you about what happened last night um i want to talk to you about what it

00:03:11.420 means because the headlines and the lesson are two very different animals six states voted

00:03:18.580 last night yesterday and here we are wednesday morning and this is what

00:03:24.040 let me bring jason and ricky in here um on further analysis of what happened last night

00:03:35.080 jason tell me what happened in new jersey you know with the buddy of the blind cheek

00:03:40.600 yeah so as expected um i'm pull i'm trying to pronounce his name adam hamawi

00:03:47.920 has advanced, and he is going to be the Democrat nominee.

00:03:51.220 Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.

00:03:54.040 Doesn't that sound like it's a child talking?

00:03:57.560 Give me his name again.

00:04:00.240 No, now I don't want to say it.

00:04:02.720 It's Adam Mwawi.

00:04:04.920 It's Adam Mwami.

00:04:07.560 I want my mommy, Adam Mwami.

00:04:10.340 Okay, anyway, go ahead.

00:04:13.060 It's an interesting candidate when you think about the Red-Green Alliance,

00:04:17.120 because that area is very heavily progressive

00:04:20.840 and it's probably going to go in his direction.

00:04:24.540 Think about who the Democrats have just nominated here in New Jersey.

00:04:28.620 He served as a defense witness for the blind cheek

00:04:31.140 on the World Trade Center bombing case.

00:04:34.060 That right there, you'd be like, whoa, whoa, wait, what?

00:04:37.180 Well, it gets worse.

00:04:38.440 For anybody who doesn't know what the blind cheek is, 0.68

00:04:40.740 they tried to blow up the World Trade Center a time before they actually did it. 0.77

00:04:44.880 okay they they took explosives put it down by some of the footings of the world trade center

00:04:49.220 tried to try to collapse it just the way they did with the airplanes this is their first attempt

00:04:53.280 it was the blind chic an absolute radical madman that was living in new jersey this is the guy

00:05:00.460 went to went to trial was convicted okay this is the guy who's like no you don't understand i'm 0.85

00:05:07.380 adam a whammy and my mommy says that we really have to take care of the blind chic i mean for 0.72

00:05:13.920 the love of pete this is the character witness for the blind cheek and they just elected him

00:05:21.020 how's this guy going to get a security clearance oh just on that now i don't know if he was a

00:05:27.100 character witness but he was definitely a defense witness uh for the blind cheek but just that right

00:05:32.740 there i would say the same thing you just said how is he going to get a security clearance

00:05:35.700 but it goes on glenn he was also reportedly volunteered for a chicago-based non-profit

00:05:43.220 in bosnia which was later discovered to be a front for al-qaeda so yeah i how does if he's

00:05:54.120 elected are they just going to put him in a closet somewhere because i don't see any way

00:05:58.720 in the world that he gets a security clearance yeah now talarica it's the closet's too full 0.59

00:06:06.260 with talarico so um well speaking of closet yeah um can we talk about how this very islamic 0.97

00:06:15.060 candidate is trotting out sweet old lesbians on you know june 1st for the beginning of pride month 0.98

00:06:22.840 and how he's like all for gay pride and all this stuff like it is he a good muslim a bad muslim 0.92

00:06:31.280 what what are this guy's politics actually i feel like he would be you know if he were doing this 0.59

00:06:36.120 over in the middle east would be but he doesn't mean it he's red green alliance if he does mean

00:06:41.440 it they will once they would take over um but that is the whole plan of the red green alliance 1.00

00:06:47.360 we can we we can kill we can kill homosexuals and lesbians and gays over in the middle east 1.00

00:06:54.440 but here we're gonna cozy up and say we're just like you don't you hate this country 1.00

00:06:58.560 don't you hate israel yeah we're with you i mean that's what this is it's crazy

00:07:05.480 and by the way I've got a story 0.54

00:07:07.800 hang on hang on just a second I've got a story

00:07:09.940 coming up in a minute that

00:07:11.660 is something that Ryan Morrow

00:07:13.800 put together at glennbeck.com

00:07:15.400 it starts with Candace Owens

00:07:17.980 but Candace Owens is not

00:07:19.580 the story here and it

00:07:21.840 is something that you must read

00:07:24.020 must listen to the analysis

00:07:26.100 next hour and share

00:07:28.080 with everyone you know because

00:07:29.720 we're in the big leagues now

00:07:32.080 gang and you gotta grow

00:07:33.940 you know got to put on the big boy pants and you have to face the truth on what is really happening

00:07:39.140 in our country and i'll share that with you coming up in in just a minute speaking of the

00:07:44.220 red green alliance um anyway um good news ricky yeah here's some good news out of the california

00:07:51.040 elections um before the primary the cook political report had rated the california governor race as

00:07:57.020 solidly democratic and you've got hilton leading right now of course it's too early to call because

00:08:03.560 we can't do elections in

00:08:05.540 2026 with only a 24 hour time period

00:08:07.760 and even Nate Silver

00:08:09.580 the renowned pollster who's

00:08:11.620 not exactly right leaning

00:08:12.960 and has historically been for election integrity

00:08:15.540 and I'm sure if we went back

00:08:17.560 into his tweet thread we would see him

00:08:19.560 bashing Trump's

00:08:21.320 2020 election

00:08:23.440 result challenges. Anyways, this is what he says

00:08:25.340 the fact that California elections often can't be

00:08:27.380 resolved for weeks is kind of insane

00:08:29.260 and not common in any other electoral

00:08:31.360 systems around the world

00:08:32.620 like honestly let me give you his follow up yeah go ahead but let me give you his follow-up tweets

00:08:38.040 he said like honestly it's going to take several weeks to tell you who won the election this is 0.95

00:08:43.300 failed state crap and should be much more stigmatized the fact that it's tolerated 0.98

00:08:49.840 is bad too a textbook example of learned helplessness i mean that's nate freaking silver 0.97

00:08:57.660 that's nate silver saying that that's good news and more good news can i get in bass

00:09:06.000 can i get some stats right now leading real quick jason on the la mayor results

00:09:10.220 karen bass is currently leading 34.8 percent to spencer pratt at 30 they're saying she's

00:09:15.920 definitely headed to the november you know runoff i think they can't say that spencer is even though

00:09:20.720 it's you know the top two um but this is what's interesting even though she won against so i know

00:09:26.340 even though she beat jay caruso in the last mayoral election who was you know the gop 0.93

00:09:31.660 billionaire uh this is what the new york times reports if mayor karen bass of los angeles does 0.97

00:09:37.960 not win outright in tuesday's election with a majority of the vote she would be the first 0.88

00:09:42.240 incumbent mayor from the city to advance to a runoff since 2005 and so yeah she is headed to 0.99

00:09:47.200 a runoff so her popularity is declining there's you know she lost some let me just sweetness let

00:09:53.500 let me just give you some of the numbers here karen bass 34.8 spencer pratt 30 percent um and 0.94

00:10:01.100 then the the socialist communist uh woman she's at 22 that number could come up um but karen bass is

00:10:08.980 not going to make it to 50 so it should be karen and spencer pratt uh you know unless they just

00:10:14.480 keep finding more ballots. Um, anyway, and then you have, uh, Steve Hilton, Steve Hilton is at

00:10:21.860 27.8%. Uh, Becerra is at 25%. Tom Steyer, who has spent like half a billion dollars, uh, is at

00:10:31.640 19%. So, uh, it looks like Steve and Becerra will be the two that are running off. But again,

00:10:40.240 They might find 25% just somewhere.

00:10:42.820 Where did I put all of those ballots for Becerra?

00:10:45.420 Oh, here they are, you know, in the trunk of a teacher's union official.

00:10:50.800 Anyway, go ahead, Jason.

00:10:52.600 Well, I don't know what all this, you know, hubbub over the election is.

00:10:56.900 I don't know what the cause is, what the concern is, because let me just read you some stats.

00:11:00.600 So using a rapid count system, polls opened at 8 a.m.

00:11:04.980 They closed at 4 p.m.

00:11:06.280 by 9 45 100 of the ballots were processed and they already knew who the winners were

00:11:12.540 and then oh wait a minute i'm reading the stats for the entire country of columbia

00:11:18.060 that just happened the entire country of columbia with it's mostly just jungle and everything and

00:11:25.020 they knew the results faster than california in one day insane i don't i don't know how you can

00:11:32.480 go backward i mean you know in the 1960s 70s 80s 90s we knew these overnight all of a sudden it's

00:11:41.080 just become so darn complex it's just we just can't get it done enough of the mail-in ballots

00:11:47.380 if it's not there by election day to be counted that day it doesn't count enough of this stuff 1.00

00:11:54.780 it's garbage you know it is only the republic maybe you could get off your fat ass and go and 1.00

00:12:01.440 vote. What do you say? Go in? Can you do that for freedom? 1.00

00:12:10.820 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program, and we really want to thank you for listening.

00:12:22.280 Let's talk about something that matters more every year. Dads, real dads, the ones who show up,

00:12:27.400 who provide, who protect, who teach their kids right from wrong, even when it's really super

00:12:31.560 hard. You don't see much on television anymore. So many shows and commercials love turning dads

00:12:35.680 into bumbling jokes, but you know better. Fathers aren't a joke. They're the bedrock of strong

00:12:40.640 families and a strong nation. This Father's Day, don't give dad just a gift. Honor the man that he

00:12:46.560 is. Give him a gift from American giant. Clothes that a real dad deserves. Premium hoodies and

00:12:52.660 tees and everyday gear grown cut sewn here in america by american hands soft from the very

00:12:59.760 first wear but tough enough to last for years and years no fading no falling apart just honest

00:13:04.360 quality that lasts when you buy from american giant you are supporting american jobs and the

00:13:09.440 self-reliant spirit that built this country just like your dad buy american this father's day at

00:13:14.620 american-giant.com slash glenn use my name get 20 off your first purchase at american-giant.com

00:13:21.260 slash Glenn. You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:13:34.620 I'm talking to you about one of the most important stories that we have ever run

00:13:40.160 at glennbeck.com. And in the headline is Candace Owens going over to Russia. Candace Owens is not

00:13:46.900 the story here. She is just a casualty of this. And you are going to, if you do your homework on

00:13:54.160 this, and I urge you to do it, please, please do a thorough search on this because you're going to

00:14:05.740 hear parts of this philosophy and you're going to be like, I agree. Please continue to do the rest

00:14:12.820 of the homework because you will not agree with the solution and i'm talking about dugan and what

00:14:20.140 is happening this week in russia and candace owens is part of it okay now this is an operation to get

00:14:26.340 you and your faith and your country to split up and it is a genius genius operation and the payload

00:14:33.920 doesn't arrive in an enemy uniform it arrives waving our flag it quotes our scripture it hates 0.88

00:14:43.140 the same thing you hate and are passionate about Dugan said it himself the delivery vehicle is the 0.97

00:14:50.680 American right you are the target and not because you're foolish but because you're faithful 0.98

00:14:56.580 because you carry real wounds you worry about our families our churches our country's soul 1.00

00:15:02.820 the evil that has become our culture.

00:15:06.500 And a real wound is the easiest place on earth

00:15:09.840 to slip in poison and call it medicine.

00:15:13.320 So I'm not going to stand here

00:15:15.400 and point at those people over there who got fooled

00:15:19.160 because that would be the single most propagandized thing I could do.

00:15:25.680 I'm going to tell you the truth.

00:15:27.500 The people running this game are praying that I don't figure out

00:15:32.700 or perhaps I'm not willing to admit,

00:15:36.820 this system was built to fool people first like me.

00:15:42.200 People like me in my job,

00:15:44.860 it's meant to fool them

00:15:46.840 because it's meant to move through trusted voices,

00:15:50.620 popular podcasters, friends, sincere believers.

00:15:54.820 People who believe this are sincere

00:15:56.900 in their faith in Christ.

00:15:59.540 They are sincere in their love of country.

00:16:02.700 but they will hear the message that Dugan is giving

00:16:05.680 and they'll say, because he is right on his analysis

00:16:10.540 on what is happening to the West.

00:16:13.680 It is evil.

00:16:16.200 It's his solution that you must run from.

00:16:21.320 Now, there are going to be people that are fooled.

00:16:25.600 Surely they have no idea in the current that they're swimming in

00:16:29.120 because they haven't done their homework.

00:16:31.280 or maybe they just I don't I don't want to judge and then there are those who will knowingly be a

00:16:39.560 part of this because they believe Dugan's solution is right destroy the American church destroy the 0.53

00:16:46.620 American culture and destroy the American government and throw in line with the Islamists

00:16:53.620 because they want a purified world too. 0.95

00:16:59.040 The line between being wrong and being used is real.

00:17:06.260 And it's not for me to read anyone's heart,

00:17:08.960 but I can read the pattern.

00:17:11.020 This is meant to fool me,

00:17:12.540 so then I knowingly or unknowingly fool you.

00:17:17.480 And the tell is never the complaint.

00:17:20.540 share every grievance about this culture

00:17:25.480 and I'll share most of them with you

00:17:29.860 the tell is the conclusion

00:17:34.340 when the answer to every single problem

00:17:38.200 seems to be the same

00:17:39.720 blame your own country

00:17:41.260 distrust your own people

00:17:43.080 distrust people who think a lot like you

00:17:46.580 but don't agree

00:17:47.840 call them an enemy

00:17:49.220 admire a strong man here or across the sea stop stop that is not where faith leads that's where

00:17:59.460 the operation leads but surely glenn i mean he's saying a lot of right things and i don't have to

00:18:07.540 go with all of it and i'd notice something that's crazy would you would you would you notice two

00:18:15.260 years ago claiming that winston churchill not hitler was the real villain of the second world

00:18:22.080 war everyone everyone two years ago would have said you're insane but then the right podcaster

00:18:29.120 had the right person say it and enough people would and say it with enough confidence

00:18:34.440 that now it's just an interesting take floating in the discourse that hitler wasn't the bad guy

00:18:41.520 church hill was and that is the whole machine in one example a fringe idea doesn't kick down the

00:18:49.380 door it gets invited in by someone you trust it takes off its coat and by the time you notice

00:18:55.440 it's still standing in the living room it's been there for years and it's accepted

00:19:00.220 and by the time most people notice the trusted voices will have already embraced it

00:19:11.520 There's one way out.

00:19:30.120 A faith that needs a strong man, 1.00

00:19:33.160 a Christian prince, 0.76

00:19:34.780 a czar, 0.65

00:19:36.020 was never your faith to begin with.

00:19:41.520 that's a counterfeit. The real thing that was promised was that the gates of hell would not

00:19:49.600 prevail against it. Nowhere in our scriptures does it say, well, the gates of hell might prevail

00:19:56.240 unless a strong man shows up. Your faith does not need any rescuing by a man in the Kremlin or the

00:20:04.520 White House. You do not have to choose between loving God and loving your country because in

00:20:11.040 america in america our rights are known to come from god if you believe in any of the miracle

00:20:18.200 forget about what we've turned into we are here to make a more perfect nation which means every

00:20:24.460 generation must strive to fix the problems because the stock is good the rights are good

00:20:36.680 The Constitution is good.

00:20:39.940 And anyone who is asking you that if you love one or the other,

00:20:46.780 you have to set one against the other,

00:20:49.640 only someone who wants to destroy both of those is asking that.

00:20:56.260 Catching that one hidden itinerary, that's a win, and I'll take it.

00:21:02.360 But it is not the war.

00:21:03.480 you don't win by hunting messengers that's why i haven't made this about the messengers

00:21:10.240 you only win it by killing the message not the grievance the message by becoming the kind of

00:21:20.280 person that can hold hard truth in one hand our culture has become evil and a hostile lie in the 0.97

00:21:29.200 other that's why we should destroy america that's why we should destroy our churches 1.00

00:21:35.500 that's why we should we should partner with islamists that's why we should 1.00

00:21:42.800 partner with this crazy madman in russia 0.99

00:21:46.760 there's those are two things 0.99

00:21:51.320 why must I combine them 0.96

00:21:55.200 culture is evil 0.87

00:21:57.360 and this is not the answer

00:22:01.080 you have to be able to hold two truths

00:22:07.020 you have to be able to separate the goats

00:22:11.300 and the sheep

00:22:12.300 you have to be humble enough to ask

00:22:16.080 of every idea

00:22:23.180 that makes you angry at your own neighbor

00:22:26.540 who, possibly 3, 8, 10,000 miles from here,

00:22:34.340 is glad I believe this and hate my neighbor.

00:22:46.080 ask that question.

00:22:50.360 Ask it out loud.

00:22:52.040 Ask it of your children.

00:22:54.280 Ask it of yourselves.

00:22:55.900 Ask it often.

00:22:57.280 Who benefits?

00:23:00.760 Because the day you stop asking that

00:23:03.340 is the day the false choice stops being a question

00:23:08.340 and becomes the answer.

00:23:10.680 please

00:23:16.380 read this article at glennbeck.com

00:23:19.400 it is thorough

00:23:21.680 it is hard

00:23:28.240 one of the themes of this program

00:23:34.760 has been

00:23:35.600 lately

00:23:37.940 in the last three months maybe

00:23:40.840 is can we have adult conversations, please?

00:23:47.760 I'll have conversations on this program

00:23:50.020 that might piss you off,

00:23:52.120 might make you mad,

00:23:53.840 might challenge your thinking.

00:23:55.480 Good. Good.

00:23:58.140 And you should challenge mine

00:23:59.900 because that's the only way we'll get things right.

00:24:03.760 I don't have all the answers. I don't know.

00:24:05.820 But I am not going to tell you the things you want to hear if they're not true.

00:24:13.820 There are no easy answers out of any of this.

00:24:20.680 I just showed you an easy answer from Paul Krugman last hour where he's talking literally about,

00:24:28.320 I wrote it down so I make sure I quote him,

00:24:30.900 thorough purges and the demagification, like denazification of the United States

00:24:42.000 to make sure these people are punished and are not playing any role in our society. And he said,

00:24:48.780 we use as the template, the denazification of Germany. I showed you what that meant in Germany. 0.51

00:24:57.480 that is the most evil thing you can imagine that's what the other side is doing 0.62

00:25:02.660 and it will feel good because they'll say my grievance is real what he's saying is real

00:25:11.600 it doesn't matter if your grievance is real have we completely forgotten Jesus Gandhi and

00:25:21.360 Martin Luther King you don't think Martin Luther King his grievance was real then why 0.98

00:25:27.000 not pick up a gun why not start shooting people because that's not the solution 0.80

00:25:32.960 the day after 9-11

00:25:37.720 i'd already signed a contract with the premier radio networks

00:25:44.100 two days i think it was after 9-11

00:25:48.020 dr laura didn't want to talk about what was happening in the country in 9-11

00:25:53.760 and I was scheduled to take her time slot

00:25:57.500 in January of that year

00:25:58.780 and it was September 13th

00:26:01.500 and they called and said, Glenn,

00:26:03.240 we need you on the air on Friday.

00:26:07.720 I'm a recovering alcoholic DJ

00:26:09.380 with no formal education.

00:26:14.700 I spent that whole day on my knees.

00:26:21.440 Lord, you have the room.

00:26:23.760 you have the wrong guy

00:26:28.380 I feel like that today

00:26:34.620 I don't know how to do this job

00:26:39.300 there haven't been that many times

00:26:42.060 in the world's history

00:26:43.720 where people have faced

00:26:47.980 what we are about to face

00:26:49.660 and I can't find any broadcaster

00:26:57.580 that did this

00:27:00.840 I can only tell you

00:27:10.260 that Jesus Christ led a revolution

00:27:13.760 and it was about the one

00:27:18.900 not the collective it was about you it was about forgiveness and love and not striking out

00:27:26.680 it was about prayer and being guided by the spirit i know gandhi used that message

00:27:35.600 and method and changed the world i know martin luther king as flawed as that guy was

00:27:42.760 you want to talk about not a good messenger he was not a good messenger but his message was

00:27:48.620 solid, look to those people, look to Jesus, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King, and study

00:28:02.600 how they changed the culture and changed the hearts of people so we can go back to being

00:28:14.480 united and working together to form a more perfect union hello america you know we've been fighting

00:28:23.300 every single day we push back against the lies the censorship the nonsense of the mainstream media

00:28:28.920 that they're trying to feed you we work tirelessly to bring you the unfiltered truth because you

00:28:34.600 deserve it but to keep this fight going we need you right now would you take a moment and rate

00:28:44.580 review helps us break through Big Tech's algorithm to reach more Americans who need to hear the

00:28:50.020 truth. This isn't a podcast. This is a movement and you're part of it, a big part of it. So if

00:28:55.500 you believe in what we're doing, you want more people to wake up, help us push this podcast to

00:28:59.600 the top. Rate, review, share. Together, we'll make a difference. And thanks for standing with us.

00:29:05.300 Now let's get to work.

00:29:06.740 All right.

00:29:08.780 They called him Henry.

00:29:11.880 18 years old.

00:29:13.900 He's a footballer.

00:29:16.860 A finance student.

00:29:19.320 A few months into his first year.

00:29:22.400 His friends and teammates say he was the kind of guy who walked in a room and lit up a room.

00:29:27.960 When Henry walked in, they cheered like someone had scored a soccer goal.

00:29:32.400 That's what they say.

00:29:33.040 On the 3rd of December, on a street in Southampton, England, Henry was stabbed five times.

00:29:43.320 I'm going to play the video.

00:29:45.480 This was not released until recently.

00:29:49.220 No, no, no, not that video, please.

00:29:50.680 The video of him being handcuffed on the streets.

00:29:55.620 He's handcuffed.

00:29:56.640 Police officers show up.

00:29:58.720 He is being handcuffed.

00:30:00.380 He's saying, I can't breathe.

00:30:01.720 I can't breathe.

00:30:03.040 he tells the officers i've been stabbed i can't breathe i can't breathe officer looks down

00:30:11.000 at this boy and saying you know i don't think you've been stabbed mate and they put him in

00:30:19.960 handcuffs

00:30:20.560 you're hearing the the guy who stabbed him say you know he knocked my turban off and they treated

00:30:31.780 this bleeding kid like a criminal because the man who had knifed him said the magic word,

00:30:38.120 and that's racism. He said Henry attacked him and abused him. It was a lie. The prosecutors 0.83

00:30:44.900 said it was a lie. The court said it was a lie. I mean, you should hear what the judge said in the

00:30:50.520 courtroom. I mean, it was very clear. I can't believe a word you say because everything you've

00:30:55.620 said is a lie. But at the time, the word of this murderer was weighed heavier than the last breaths

00:31:02.140 of a boy dying on the pavement. Now, I want you to hear me clearly because clarity is the only

00:31:09.700 thing that will honor the dead. The evil here is not people. The evil here is not a faith.

00:31:18.960 The evil here is older and simpler than that.

00:31:21.260 The evil is a justice that decides before a single word is spoken whose life counts and whose word counts.

00:31:32.120 A justice that asks, not what happened, but who am I allowed to believe?

00:31:38.680 This is the exact evil that Martin Luther King marched against.

00:31:44.140 that was the whole machinery of the 1950s a system that had already made up its mind about

00:31:52.340 who you believe before you ever open your mouth you just look at a human being and you're like

00:31:56.940 oh he's white he's black i believe the white guy in this case you look at two human beings 0.61

00:32:01.160 he's black he's white he's he's a minority he's white i believe the minority i believe 0.58

00:32:07.340 the black guy i believe the brown guy i believe anybody but the white guy

00:32:10.160 and this is by design i mean we told ourselves that you know we were a different country

00:32:19.060 and this is a different century but the footage here says otherwise

00:32:23.980 and this is what tommy robinson has been saying this was my message that apparently i could be

00:32:33.580 banned for i don't know if i'm banned from i hope not but i i was told i'd be banned if i spoke at

00:32:38.980 the rally for Tommy Robinson, and I wasn't speaking for Tommy Robinson. I was speaking

00:32:43.380 and standing up for one law, one standard. That's what I was standing up. A life is a life. I don't

00:32:49.780 care what color. A life is a life. Equal justice. It's not a slogan. It's not a side. It's the floor

00:32:58.280 underneath everything we claim to believe. And when that floor cracks, everyone falls through it.

00:33:04.720 eventually, all of us. And I know the rage. I felt it last night. Outside that police station,

00:33:21.580 the rage boiled over into the streets. Officers were hurt. People were arrested.

00:33:27.860 And God help me, I understand it. I don't excuse it, but I understand it.

00:33:32.400 and the only reason why i understand it is because this is what happens when there's no real

00:33:39.340 leadership you know once a brick is thrown no brick thrown has ever made a powerful institution

00:33:47.540 look in the mirror okay rage feels like justice but it's not justice and it's not going to change

00:33:52.820 the hearts of anybody it's the thing that lets the powerful change the subject from a dead boy

00:33:58.160 in handcuffs to a broken shop window, to a police officer that was hurt by a bottle being thrown.

00:34:03.580 Don't hand them that gift. Don't. There is another way. It's the way that always works. And it's not

00:34:11.500 weakness. It is the most disciplined strength a human being can wield. Jesus refused the sword

00:34:19.060 in the garden no he healed his enemy

00:34:24.660 gandhi who emptied a prison by by filling it king who marched into the fists and the dogs

00:34:35.360 and the fire hoses and would not swing back and in not swinging back he made the whole world

00:34:42.520 finally see who the real animal was here.

00:34:46.880 They marched, of course they marched,

00:34:48.800 but they marched unarmed.

00:34:50.640 They marched unflinching.

00:34:52.780 That discipline is what made the injustice

00:34:55.760 impossible to look away from

00:34:58.900 because people all over the world looked and said,

00:35:01.800 wait a minute, there are dogs, fire hoses,

00:35:04.320 they're swinging at them, they're beating with clubs

00:35:06.080 and no one is fighting back.

00:35:09.080 It was clear who the good guy was

00:35:11.880 and who the bad guy was.

00:35:13.340 Because here's what happens.

00:35:14.820 People watch something and they're like,

00:35:16.720 I don't really know the situation.

00:35:18.160 I don't really know who that person is.

00:35:19.920 I don't know whose side I should be on.

00:35:22.120 That's why he was like, never strike back.

00:35:25.300 Never, ever, ever strike back.

00:35:32.240 A mob makes injustice forgettable.

00:35:36.180 The disciplined, peaceful, immovable witness

00:35:39.600 makes it unbearable.

00:35:41.880 and you know who said the most truest most christ-like thing in this entire affair it's

00:35:52.740 not a politician it was henry's father can we play henry's father please henry told officers

00:36:03.020 that he could not breathe nine times he told them he had been stabbed four times

00:36:10.760 The response from one officer was, I don't think you have, mate.

00:36:16.600 The police have said they were misled by the murderer

00:36:19.680 and that the scene when they arrived was complex.

00:36:23.960 Unfortunately, it seems to us the truth is much simpler.

00:36:29.680 The police were told by our son himself

00:36:32.400 and by a member of the public who called 999

00:36:35.500 that they heard someone shout that they had been stabbed.

00:36:39.800 but the police did not believe them.

00:36:45.120 Henry was pulled across the gravel,

00:36:47.140 his hands forced behind his back,

00:36:48.940 and he was placed in handcuffs.

00:36:50.460 His murderer, however, was afforded decency.

00:36:54.300 He was believed.

00:36:56.220 He was not handcuffed when arrested.

00:36:58.940 He was not handcuffed when transported to the police station.

00:37:02.660 As far as we understand, he was never handcuffed at all.

00:37:06.080 And, as Vikram Digwar himself told the court, whilst under arrest for Henry's murder, police even took him to the kitchen so he could choose his food.

00:37:18.240 The contrast is unbearable.

00:37:20.700 what is the difference between this and what we heard coming out of the south in the 1950s

00:37:36.400 if you're white you you were treated with kid gloves if you're black you were in jail didn't

00:37:45.660 matter really you'd already been judged before you even got to trial you'd already been judged 0.97

00:37:50.940 see this is the plan

00:37:55.600 this is what is it not anti-racism yeah anti-racist you have to be an anti-racist right

00:38:04.820 isn't that what they called it ricky anti-racism when when you had to become a racist to defeat

00:38:10.280 racism right and you got it became the trend in 2020 right okay so this is their plan

00:38:17.260 you you are becoming the 1950s except the white man is the black man that's not what

00:38:25.760 anyone wanted except people who want revenge people who want destruction who want tension 0.93

00:38:33.900 I don't want any of that

00:38:36.200 I want people to be treated equally

00:38:38.780 I want the police

00:38:40.920 to not judge

00:38:43.340 at the scene

00:38:44.360 just calm it down

00:38:46.200 get everybody under control

00:38:48.060 you don't know

00:38:49.640 then you don't know

00:38:51.000 don't judge by what a person looks like

00:38:54.340 they want us

00:38:59.820 they want us to be a racist nation just in reverse i don't i don't want anyone in that situation

00:39:08.340 and here henry's own father standing inside the worst grief a man can carry

00:39:13.180 he asks that his son's death not be used to create division or hatred or tension

00:39:18.600 they were chanting last night they marched in the streets play some of this they marched in

00:39:28.200 the streets chanting and then they started throwing trash bins and they say it's because

00:39:38.420 the police showed up with their riot shields and started antagonizing and pushing back okay well

00:39:45.120 this looks peaceful but if they do come with their riot shields listen to martin luther king

00:39:50.840 you don't push back you take it you don't throw rocks at them

00:39:55.160 Look, this only works when there are open hearts.

00:40:08.740 You have to follow Christ, you follow Gandhi, you follow King, you follow the grieving father.

00:40:14.180 This is the only method that works every time.

00:40:17.900 But it only works when there is still a conscience on the other side to reach.

00:40:25.160 when that Judeo-Christian ethic of, I want to do right, is still there, that open heart.

00:40:36.600 And that is a ever-enclosing window. Nonviolence is a wager. It's a bet that the people in power

00:40:43.820 still have a heart to be moved. The people who, not the politicians, these people on the street

00:40:51.000 that have the power, that they still have a heart in there.

00:40:53.920 And that window is the only window you can get through.

00:40:58.220 It's the only thing that changes that.

00:40:59.700 And that window is closing because trust in this country

00:41:02.660 is bleeding out as surely as Henry did on that street.

00:41:10.100 That's why you should be concerned about the death of churches. 0.98

00:41:14.480 But here's some hope for you in Great Britain.

00:41:17.020 It's quiet and it is young and it's happening in our streets too. 0.94

00:41:20.120 All across Britain, all across America, a generation everyone wrote off as done, is walking back into churches.

00:41:32.020 There is talk of a quiet revival.

00:41:34.920 Young people reaching again for something bigger than the next outrage.

00:41:39.240 They want to belong to something good.

00:41:42.280 don't confuse marches that turn into mobs as good it requires discipline you know and i talked to

00:41:54.380 tommy about this when i was there you don't have a martin luther king they don't have one

00:41:58.920 they gandhi was in a way against the british so when i said you know you got gandhi and

00:42:07.020 everybody looked at me like are you out of your mind and i'm like no you got to look at gandhi

00:42:11.020 for what he was doing.

00:42:15.840 This is the kind of soil that courage grows in.

00:42:19.140 Don't waste it on hatred.

00:42:20.780 Plant something in it.

00:42:23.300 What do we owe, Henry?

00:42:24.800 Not a riot, a reckoning.

00:42:26.580 We owe him relentless, peaceful, undeniable pressure

00:42:29.120 for the truth.

00:42:29.740 Every answer the investigation could give

00:42:32.000 and not one less.

00:42:34.980 We owe him one law applied to the same soul,

00:42:38.040 every soul who walks either on those islands or here. You owe him our refusal to hate people

00:42:44.640 we are tempted to hate. And our refusal to be silent and sit down and say, this isn't my fight,

00:42:52.340 it is your fight. They put a dying boy in handcuffs because someone told him a lie about

00:42:57.100 who to believe. So let our answer be consistent and the truth. And so calmly and clearly stated

00:43:03.420 that no one can pretend they didn't hear it.

00:43:06.580 His name was Henry.

00:43:09.120 Say it.

00:43:11.900 And believe him,

00:43:15.340 not skin color.

00:43:20.840 When you travel well,

00:43:22.880 your KLM Royal Dutch Airlines ticket

00:43:25.140 takes you to more than just your destination.

00:43:28.080 It takes you to front row views,

00:43:30.660 voices lost in the music,

00:43:32.380 and new shared memories.

00:43:35.300 And when the last song fades,

00:43:37.420 the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines crew

00:43:41.200 is here to ensure your journey home

00:43:43.500 hits all the right notes.

00:43:46.940 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

00:43:48.800 When you travel, travel well.
