The Glenn Beck Program - Best of The Program ｜ Guest： Bill O’Reilly ｜ 1⧸8⧸21

00:00:00.000 Hey, podcasters. It's Friday. Great show. In fact, the whole show really is worth just the last 25 minutes, I think.

00:00:09.360 You don't want to miss that.

00:00:11.920 We have Bill O'Reilly on. We talk about what the president said yesterday in a speech.

00:00:17.900 It was a concession speech and a speech that I think he needed to give.

00:00:23.760 We talk about that. We talk about also something in the middle of the show.

00:00:28.260 I got a phone call that was very disturbing, and it deeply will affect you and us, all of us that believe in the Constitution.

00:00:38.580 And that's covered also on today's podcast.

00:00:47.720 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:00:51.880 It's my 21st anniversary today with my wife.

00:00:59.420 Twenty, twenty-one years.

00:01:00.840 Really? That is unbelievable.

00:01:01.540 It's unbelievable she stuck around that long.

00:01:04.620 What? Three weeks, maybe?

00:01:07.620 And I'm begging my wife, please, please, twenty-one years together, please buy more Bitcoin today.

00:01:16.360 Please.

00:01:17.060 That's what you want for your anniversary?

00:01:18.160 That's what I want for our anniversary.

00:01:19.860 I mean, it's at now forty-one thousand.

00:01:24.000 It was nineteen at Christmas, and this time it's real.

00:01:27.920 This time, this is digital gold.

00:01:31.180 That's why people are perceiving this, and this is happening because of the unrest,

00:01:35.660 because institutional investors are in on it.

00:01:40.060 This is big, big money that is happening, and it might correct itself, you know,

00:01:46.900 but it might correct at forty-three or two forty-three.

00:01:50.780 It might go up to fifty or sixty and then correct at forty-three.

00:01:53.880 This is real this time.

00:01:55.420 What is Tika Tiwari saying now?

00:01:58.100 Because...

00:01:58.460 I don't know.

00:01:59.000 He was right, just wrong timing.

00:02:01.120 Just wrong timing, but he said exactly forty-thousand.

00:02:03.880 Yeah.

00:02:04.480 And here it is.

00:02:05.100 And he said it would happen quickly.

00:02:06.760 Yeah.

00:02:07.240 And it has.

00:02:07.820 It's been pretty quick.

00:02:08.720 It was thirty-eight hundred in March.

00:02:12.980 In March.

00:02:13.780 Like, you know, because you go back...

00:02:14.920 Thirty-eight hundred?

00:02:15.520 Yeah.

00:02:15.740 Don't say that to me.

00:02:16.720 Wow, geez.

00:02:16.980 If you go back to...

00:02:18.300 If you listen to the show for a long time, you know we were pretty early on the Bitcoin

00:02:21.200 thing, at least as far as popular culture.

00:02:23.440 I remember talking about it at three hundred.

00:02:25.400 Yeah.

00:02:25.780 At three...

00:02:26.300 Yeah.

00:02:26.560 I remember.

00:02:26.980 Yeah.

00:02:27.640 And it was definitely less than a thousand.

00:02:30.180 We were talking about it on the air.

00:02:31.560 Yep.

00:02:31.920 But, like, I think a lot of people were like, ah, we missed out on that.

00:02:34.840 And then there was the bubble, and it burst, and ah, that's over.

00:02:37.660 I mean, in March...

00:02:38.240 If you have a hundred dollars, still put it in Bitcoin.

00:02:41.000 If you have a hundred dollars, still put it in Bitcoin.

00:02:43.420 I'm telling you.

00:02:44.660 I'm telling you.

00:02:45.480 This is...

00:02:46.260 Digital currency is coming.

00:02:48.200 If those people who saved their money and are keeping their money in the bank in dollars,

00:02:54.340 you're going to lose out.

00:02:55.900 You're going to lose.

00:02:57.080 And we should point out that Glenn does not give investment advice.

00:03:00.860 Yeah.

00:03:01.160 Because it's usually bad.

00:03:02.560 This is usually the...

00:03:03.760 Well, there's two things that you should know about investments.

00:03:06.940 When Glenn says to do them, don't do them.

00:03:09.280 And if Pat Gray ever actually invests in Bitcoin, I will dump everyone I have.

00:03:14.320 Get out.

00:03:14.760 Now.

00:03:16.520 All right.

00:03:17.200 So, Pat, we haven't heard your take, unless we listen to the show.

00:03:21.800 We haven't heard your take on this show about the week.

00:03:26.700 About the week.

00:03:27.760 Yeah.

00:03:28.000 The week that was.

00:03:29.100 The week that was.

00:03:29.840 By the way, I curse all of you who said, I can't wait for the new year.

00:03:38.320 Yeah.

00:03:38.960 That's so depressing.

00:03:40.420 You jaxed it.

00:03:41.480 You jaxed it.

00:03:42.540 We've already blown the nice hope for 2021 in the first week.

00:03:46.680 The first week is a nightmare.

00:03:48.980 I mean, it's already worse than all of 2020, wasn't it?

00:03:52.160 Combined.

00:03:53.640 Yes.

00:03:54.720 Week one.

00:03:55.620 I am telling you, vampire space bunnies are coming and we'll accept it.

00:04:03.840 I'm kind of excited about it at this point. 1.00

00:04:06.420 Suck the blood. 1.00

00:04:07.360 Bunny, suck the blood. 1.00

00:04:08.540 Can I just pet your soft fur as you suck all the blood out of my neck? 1.00

00:04:11.560 I was a tad irritated, to tell you the truth.

00:04:14.500 At the media?

00:04:15.760 At any Trump supporters who were doing what they were doing at the Capitol building?

00:04:23.500 I wasn't upset at anybody who was at that rally on the ellipse.

00:04:28.360 I thought the rally was fine.

00:04:30.120 Yes.

00:04:30.220 Everybody.

00:04:30.860 The breaking the windows and the destruction at the Capitol building.

00:04:33.520 That is just, that's not what we do.

00:04:35.720 And I know that it was incited by others.

00:04:38.640 I believe there were left-wing people there, but there were also right-wing QAnon people there.

00:04:43.900 Yeah. 0.74

00:04:44.980 Doing crappy things.

00:04:46.500 I think the conservatives were doing conservative things. 0.93

00:04:49.200 They were standing there and they were protesting.

00:04:51.300 They were holding signs.

00:04:52.180 Yeah, I think there were some regular conservatives that were in there that were just swept up.

00:04:58.600 Did you hear about the guy from Idaho?

00:05:00.540 Guy from Idaho was inside and I think he went in and sat in the speaker's chair.

00:05:08.280 And he's apologized to the country, to the president, to the movement.

00:05:12.920 I'm not sure.

00:05:13.780 There's one guy who was a CEO of some sort of company and was there and somehow got swept up.

00:05:18.140 And he's like, I cannot believe I did that.

00:05:19.600 I feel terrible.

00:05:20.200 That's what happens in a mob, by the way.

00:05:24.020 I mean, look, you're going to wind up paying a price, I think, legally.

00:05:27.380 That's not enough.

00:05:28.340 But still, it's good to at least hear the contrition.

00:05:31.700 And quite honestly, I was a little perturbed at the president.

00:05:35.300 It bothered me that he was, as he was telling people to go home and go home peacefully, he

00:05:43.940 was telling them we wanted a landslide and they stole it from us.

00:05:47.000 I just, it's irresponsible.

00:05:49.120 It's just, I was, I don't get it.

00:05:51.820 You know, I was looking at it from his perspective when he did it.

00:05:55.560 And I thought, because I heard somebody say this and I thought, that's possible.

00:06:02.000 You want to speak the language of the people and say, I understand you.

00:06:06.920 I understand you, which he did.

00:06:08.780 And I thought that was important.

00:06:10.380 He did a better job of it yesterday.

00:06:12.100 Yesterday was perfect.

00:06:13.320 I think, because Ivanka got some heat for her tweet about this, where she said, you

00:06:19.320 know, American patriots, we don't do this sort of thing.

00:06:22.760 They're like, how can you call them patriots?

00:06:24.600 Well, you're trying to relate to them.

00:06:26.000 Like, if you call them, hey, fascists, and they're not going to, you know, you're trying

00:06:29.700 to say, like, you're trying to, you know, to relate to them and to move them in a particular

00:06:35.160 way.

00:06:35.480 And people who are standing up for transparency, standing up and asking their government to

00:06:41.060 please listen to us, please listen to us.

00:06:43.660 And there's nothing wrong with that.

00:06:44.920 That's patriotic.

00:06:46.040 Right.

00:06:46.180 It's just when you cross over into violence that it doesn't become patriotic.

00:06:51.880 Yeah.

00:06:52.360 And sadly, you kind of discredit everything along the way.

00:06:55.620 Oh, everything.

00:06:56.540 And you know what?

00:06:57.200 So everything looks bad.

00:06:57.840 And then when the media starts saying, yeah, five people died, and it looks like it was

00:07:01.700 Trump supporters who killed them, and that's not what happened, then you've got the whole

00:07:06.620 country turning against you.

00:07:08.000 Yeah.

00:07:08.100 And I think Donald Trump really hurt himself, and his knee-jerk reaction should have been

00:07:15.380 immediately, wait, wait, wait.

00:07:18.980 I mean, look what Gandhi did.

00:07:20.720 Gandhi starved himself against his own people. 0.50

00:07:24.840 It wasn't until we're all free.

00:07:27.480 It was, stop the violence.

00:07:30.160 I disavow you.

00:07:31.700 You say I'm your leader.

00:07:33.460 I disavow you.

00:07:35.080 Forget Gandhi, I was thinking of Glenn Beck as president in that moment, and I've been 0.74

00:07:39.440 in so many of these situations with Glenn, and so have you, Pat, where, you know, there

00:07:44.060 are things you should do and things you shouldn't do.

00:07:46.260 And I, 100% in this situation, Glenn Beck is not making a statement on Twitter about

00:07:53.320 what, get out of that building. 0.85

00:07:54.240 You are going down to the Capitol yourself, and you're saying, screw you, Secret Service, 0.94

00:07:59.500 and you're going to walk down there and physically remove people from that building. 0.60

00:08:05.020 Tell me, tell me that is not what you would do in that, in that moment.

00:08:07.800 You would be so pissed off.

00:08:09.720 Yeah, I think it would have been.

00:08:10.980 I think I would have gotten in, oh, Secret Service, you're not going to drive me?

00:08:14.660 Give me the keys.

00:08:15.320 Give me the keys.

00:08:16.040 And I'd drive the beast up, or I'd find an old truck if I had to, and I would get up

00:08:22.320 on the stairs of the Capitol and say, back off.

00:08:24.840 Get the hell out of that building.

00:08:25.900 Get out of this building right now. 0.65

00:08:27.700 That's not you.

00:08:28.460 And you know what?

00:08:29.900 If the president would have been like that, I mean, not driving to the Capitol, that's

00:08:35.220 a little too Glenn Beckian.

00:08:36.460 But if he would have been like that, he would have preserved a leadership role for after.

00:08:47.780 You know, right now, they have everything that they need just to shut him down, to silence

00:08:53.480 him, to discredit anybody who follows him.

00:08:57.740 And it's sad because he had the opportunity, and hopefully he can regain it.

00:09:03.980 But it's going to be tough.

00:09:05.420 He had the opportunity to have righteous indignation, but stand for the right things and say, the

00:09:14.920 battle doesn't end today.

00:09:18.640 This is an ongoing battle, and we are going to fight the right way.

00:09:24.100 I mean, honestly, to say we needed 10 days, 10 days, that's all we're asking for.

00:09:33.360 And if he would have come out and said, we need 10 days, and look, I'm not looking for

00:09:38.380 11,000.

00:09:39.420 I do believe I won.

00:09:41.460 But I'm not looking for just the number.

00:09:44.060 You cannot have people not believe in the vote.

00:09:49.520 It is important for America going forward that we believe in the vote.

00:09:54.880 So I'm not motivated to prove what I do believe is true.

00:10:00.800 I'm motivated to find out exactly what happened.

00:10:04.180 And if we can't prove it in 10 days, that's fine.

00:10:08.060 But there needs to be a special counsel to find out because Americans need to believe in

00:10:14.020 something.

00:10:15.020 I think he could have really had an impact.

00:10:19.920 Now, he is a guy who keeps coming back and coming back, coming back after he's been punched

00:10:24.560 down.

00:10:25.340 But he's not going to have the bully pulpit to do it now.

00:10:29.620 Yeah, it's going to be very difficult for him now.

00:10:31.700 He had a sweet Republican kingmaker role carved out.

00:10:35.860 That would have been an amazing life with lots and lots of power.

00:10:39.500 And I think also, you know, I still pretty much believe he's going to wind up running

00:10:43.800 again.

00:10:44.160 I do, too.

00:10:45.260 But, you know, look, I don't know.

00:10:46.560 You're right.

00:10:47.080 He's overcome odds before.

00:10:48.420 I think anything past Safe Harbor Day was harmful.

00:10:52.840 And the way he's pushed this to the very, very end, I think, has been wrong.

00:10:57.280 And it's been hurtful to the country.

00:10:59.160 And I think we saw consequences from it.

00:11:01.220 I think he could have handled it differently.

00:11:03.100 But I do understand, you know, it's frustrating.

00:11:05.460 My wife keeps saying, like, can you imagine going through what he's gone through?

00:11:08.540 No.

00:11:08.980 I mean, he's been going through these four years of everyone beating you up every

00:11:12.120 single day.

00:11:13.080 Lying about you.

00:11:14.020 Yeah.

00:11:14.280 I mean, this has got to change you as a person.

00:11:15.880 It's got to put so much stress on you.

00:11:17.980 But, you know, again, this is the job.

00:11:19.600 I mean, you sign up for these things.

00:11:21.300 And, like, you know, it's really hard to hit a free throw with three seconds left,

00:11:23.780 too.

00:11:24.140 And you've got to do it.

00:11:25.040 That's your gig.

00:11:25.600 I have to tell you, I really feel for him because I really feel he's alone.

00:11:29.700 Absolutely alone.

00:11:30.920 And has been for four years.

00:11:32.320 And has taken more beatings to the head than anybody I've seen.

00:11:35.680 I mean, more beatings to the head than Muhammad Ali had.

00:11:39.320 And he has stood the entire time.

00:11:42.680 I understand his righteous anger.

00:11:45.800 His belief that, really?

00:11:48.960 Really?

00:11:51.460 It gets down to this.

00:11:53.120 You're going to do this, too?

00:11:54.380 And nobody's going to stand up?

00:11:55.660 I get it.

00:11:56.800 But he needed to say early on, I will never, until it's proven, I will never believe I

00:12:05.360 didn't win.

00:12:06.100 But if that's what Congress and the people say, I will leave on January 20th.

00:12:14.020 There will be a peaceful transition of power.

00:12:17.700 And we're not going to do that.

00:12:20.000 However, with that being said, I urge all Americans to go to their state houses and demand that

00:12:28.620 there is an investigation in this and laws are strengthened to make sure it doesn't happen

00:12:35.140 again.

00:12:36.820 Yeah.

00:12:37.860 That would have been a great way to handle it.

00:12:39.860 It would have been.

00:12:40.420 And he kind of did that yesterday.

00:12:41.700 Yeah, he did.

00:12:42.420 But it's a little late in the game.

00:12:46.140 But yeah, he did some of that yesterday.

00:12:48.060 It is it's worth playing again what he said.

00:12:51.540 We'll do that after the break.

00:12:53.380 But it's worth playing again what he said yesterday, because he did basically say all

00:12:58.940 of those things.

00:13:00.040 Yep.

00:13:00.780 And he really took on the people who went into the Capitol and caused harm.

00:13:06.240 He he was stronger than we are.

00:13:08.940 Yeah, he called them out, called them out.

00:13:11.020 They should go to jail.

00:13:12.680 They should be prosecuted if they committed crimes.

00:13:15.980 Mr. Bill O'Reilly, the author of Killing Crazy Horse and the namesake behind Bill O'Reilly

00:13:31.360 dot com, where he has his no spin news every day.

00:13:35.500 Welcome to the program, Bill O'Reilly.

00:13:37.180 How are you, sir?

00:13:38.520 I am a little tired after analyzing all this stuff.

00:13:45.560 I just want to say thank you for the nice mention of Bill O'Reilly dot com is free for

00:13:50.000 everybody this weekend, because I think we have had incisive fair coverage, unlike the

00:13:56.460 corporate media, which is, again, you know, reach the nadir word of the day.

00:14:02.940 You're not going to learn anything from those people.

00:14:05.080 No, you're you're really not.

00:14:06.820 And those people are are going to start clamping down on on all of us.

00:14:13.840 And I urge you to please, as a listener, if you appreciate the frankness of Bill O'Reilly

00:14:21.400 or or the blaze or whoever, if you hear somebody who is telling the truth, please support them

00:14:28.880 and join them because sponsors are going to be attacked soon.

00:14:34.600 We are coming under attack.

00:14:36.240 We have we have one guy who Elijah Schaefer, who has risked his life to go in and be right

00:14:45.300 on the front lines of the Antifa protests.

00:14:48.420 He went in and he was right on the front lines at the Capitol recording and and reporting live.

00:14:56.940 And now they're saying that he's a revolutionary, not a journalist.

00:15:02.280 He was there saying this is wrong.

00:15:04.860 This is what's happening.

00:15:06.060 These people are doing this.

00:15:07.860 This is this is just as bad as what Antifa was doing.

00:15:12.280 And now they want him shut down, which means they'll be coming after us.

00:15:18.000 It's a it's a bad mess, Bill.

00:15:20.140 Bad mess.

00:15:21.300 You know, I saw the kid on the blaze.

00:15:24.320 And my first thought was, if this young guy can get in there and give you firsthand look,

00:15:32.400 you know, an immediate look at what's happening.

00:15:35.840 Why can't the big networks with all their resources have somebody in there?

00:15:40.760 I mean, that was my first question.

00:15:42.280 So you got this guy, this young guy in there, and he's providing the best coverage you could

00:15:48.000 get because you're seeing what's happening.

00:15:51.140 Yeah, no matter what it is.

00:15:52.920 So where are the others with all their hundreds of millions of dollars?

00:15:58.220 They can't get anybody in there.

00:16:00.520 So it's it's so bad.

00:16:03.180 I mean, you know, and that's one of the reasons the country is in such a chaotic state is the

00:16:08.240 collapse of the media, which was given special privileges, as everybody knows, by the founding

00:16:14.160 fathers, to keep the powerful in check.

00:16:18.880 All right.

00:16:19.340 To tell the folks, look, here's what John Adams is really doing.

00:16:23.380 All right.

00:16:23.940 Here's what Abe Lincoln is doing.

00:16:25.760 But they don't do that anymore.

00:16:27.680 They hate one guy, Trump.

00:16:29.620 They love one guy, Biden.

00:16:31.360 And you're never going to get what's really happening.

00:16:35.620 But if this continues, I think you're absolutely right.

00:16:39.700 There's going to be a ferocious backlash.

00:16:41.680 But I don't want people on the conservative traditional side to think.

00:16:47.940 And some of them do, because I got a stack of mail that says that violent revolution is

00:16:55.020 ever going to happen in this country.

00:16:56.640 It is not.

00:16:58.480 It is not going to happen.

00:17:00.680 There will be tense moments.

00:17:03.220 There will be irrational behavior.

00:17:05.240 There will be criminality.

00:17:07.500 The attack on the Capitol was criminal.

00:17:10.040 There will be that.

00:17:12.080 But there's 330 million American citizens.

00:17:14.940 And I'll submit to you that 70, 75 percent want nothing to do with violence.

00:17:22.300 Oh, I think that I think that number is higher.

00:17:24.540 I bet you there's 10 to 13 percent that that would be OK with violence.

00:17:29.800 That's it on both sides.

00:17:31.160 The reason I take it at 75, maybe 80, is that there is a criminal element that exploits

00:17:39.660 situations like these.

00:17:41.500 So in the Capitol intrusion, in the riot, there were professional agitators there.

00:17:51.240 There were people who came to Washington for the sole purpose of fostering violence, just

00:17:57.840 as in the George Floyd situation.

00:18:01.300 There were criminals among the protesters that were just waiting to loot and to burn and to

00:18:09.540 hurt a cop.

00:18:10.120 Now, that crew has sympathy, unfortunately.

00:18:15.960 It had sympathy in the media.

00:18:17.820 We saw it on the left and it has some sympathy in the right.

00:18:22.360 I got the letters in my hands.

00:18:24.860 I had one letter yesterday from a guy who says, well, O'Reilly, you don't understand how

00:18:29.340 many people were applauding the anarchist action.

00:18:34.160 And I said to him, I read it on the air.

00:18:36.540 I read it on Bill O'Reilly dot com.

00:18:38.060 I said, yeah, I understand it.

00:18:40.120 Because the same crew was applauding the looters.

00:18:44.780 They weren't the same people, but it's the same mindset that criminality and violence is

00:18:50.640 fine.

00:18:51.700 If I want to do it for whatever reason, you can have an election, you can have the killing 1.00

00:18:57.760 of a black man, whatever it may be. 0.99

00:18:59.560 But there are, I'd say, all right, 20 percent of Americans who have that mindset.

00:19:06.580 But the vast majority of us will reject it.

00:19:10.940 So people who are thinking, well, there's going to be a violent revolution in America, that's

00:19:17.060 not going to happen.

00:19:18.360 It's not.

00:19:19.680 And to think it is, is insane.

00:19:21.900 For Donald Trump to come out and say what he said yesterday, I applaud.

00:19:30.360 I thought it was the right thing to say.

00:19:33.640 Compare that to what he said during the actual riot there inside the Capitol.

00:19:40.180 All right.

00:19:41.580 If you're going to analyze Trump in a fair way that benefits the American people, you have

00:19:48.660 to understand his mindset.

00:19:52.160 So you just can't pick it up this week, as, of course, all the media did, pro and con Trump.

00:19:59.060 So Donald Trump, in his mind, believes that he's been persecuted for five years.

00:20:07.540 Agree.

00:20:09.080 Right?

00:20:10.260 So he sees himself as a victim, as millions of Americans do, for one reason or another.

00:20:18.000 So when he lost the election, and I can just hear the chorus now, oh, he didn't lose, he

00:20:24.580 didn't lose.

00:20:25.640 Okay.

00:20:25.960 When he lost, because the system said he lost, he became unhinged.

00:20:37.240 And I know that, because I know people very close to him.

00:20:40.660 Now, I have not talked to the president since two days before the first debate, when he...

00:20:45.520 I talked to him a week ago, week and a half ago.

00:20:49.440 I talked to him over the vacation.

00:20:51.540 I thought he was lucid.

00:20:52.920 I didn't feel that he was unhinged.

00:20:54.800 I felt that he was determined.

00:20:58.280 I agree.

00:20:59.480 He absolutely...

00:21:00.920 I mean, he told me, I will never...

00:21:03.260 You will never hear me say, I lost this election fairly.

00:21:07.920 He said, you'll never hear me say it, because I don't believe it.

00:21:11.140 And quite honestly, I don't either.

00:21:12.680 But he was very...

00:21:13.640 He was lucid, at least for 20, 25 minutes with me.

00:21:17.020 But it's not about lucid.

00:21:19.580 When I use the word unhinged, he wasn't analyzing reality.

00:21:26.580 Okay?

00:21:27.060 So when he was talking to you, he was saying, look, this is the way I feel, and this is what

00:21:32.780 I'm going to do.

00:21:33.700 But from the very beginning, there was no chance that Donald Trump was going to overturn this

00:21:41.700 election.

00:21:42.120 And we've talked about that.

00:21:43.480 Yeah.

00:21:43.760 You and I have talked about that.

00:21:45.400 There was no chance that losing by 7 million popular votes and having all of these controversies,

00:21:56.540 in the beginning, everybody paid attention, and we were waiting for, I certainly was, Rudy

00:22:04.500 Giuliani and the others, to give us hard data.

00:22:08.600 Yeah.

00:22:09.660 It didn't come.

00:22:12.240 Once that was established, that it was theoretical, it was over.

00:22:18.500 And everyone knew it was over.

00:22:20.600 Everyone in power knew.

00:22:23.020 Supreme Court knew.

00:22:24.020 Both houses of Congress knew.

00:22:28.400 Vice President Pence knew.

00:22:30.980 Everybody knew, except one guy, Donald Trump.

00:22:35.520 And he continued to believe, and he did believe it.

00:22:38.980 He did believe it.

00:22:40.080 So let me ask you this.

00:22:41.100 I was made fun of and mocked because I tried to explain the way he thinks.

00:22:48.020 And this is just me.

00:22:49.700 This is not from conversations with him or anything else.

00:22:52.420 But you know, and I know, he is a Norman Vincent Peale devotee.

00:22:58.040 He is a guy who believes what you think becomes.

00:23:03.340 And don't ever speak things into existence that you don't want.

00:23:07.540 And I believe he truly believed in the power of positive thinking, not necessarily to that it was going to change everything, but he was not going to speak anything into existence that he didn't believe was true.

00:23:23.560 And that's why he was, he is disciplined in that one principle.

00:23:29.480 What he speaks, he creates.

00:23:32.400 He's made so many mistakes.

00:23:35.200 I, I, I'm not disagreeing.

00:23:37.900 I am trying to say that this is where his thinking is coming from.

00:23:41.700 Okay.

00:23:42.600 But if you want to win anything, you have to outthink your opposition.

00:23:50.540 So from the very beginning, instead of running around saying it's a fraud, it's rigged, it was stolen, it was this, it was that.

00:23:57.800 The president should have methodically said to Congress and to the justice department, there are millions of Americans who do not trust this election.

00:24:08.620 Yes.

00:24:09.380 Yes.

00:24:09.900 The analytics don't match up.

00:24:12.060 We need a very comprehensive investigation.

00:24:15.900 Attorney General Barr, please appoint a special counsel and houses of Congress.

00:24:21.200 Please launch an investigation into the following and list the states.

00:24:26.260 That would have been much, much better than going to Georgia and the night before the vote, the most crucial vote we've had in the Congress, attacking the state of Georgia for being corrupt.

00:24:41.520 Do you think that helped him?

00:24:46.260 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:24:48.420 And don't forget, rate us on iTunes.

00:24:50.760 I know you are under a tremendous amount of pressure in your own life.

00:25:01.120 Maybe, perhaps, you have lost your job.

00:25:04.440 You have, you've lost your business.

00:25:10.660 I know last night at midnight, my wife and I were talking about the kids in school and how difficult this is.

00:25:17.760 I know the pressure you're under and, uh, I don't want to add more to it.

00:25:25.700 I want to let you know what's going on and I want to make a promise to you.

00:25:30.620 Uh, you are not alone in feeling that.

00:25:33.680 And I have been saying for a very long time, they are going to come after anyone with an opinion that they disagree with.

00:25:45.160 Ted Koppel himself told me, uh, you know, there should be a panel of people like me that grant you a license.

00:25:51.980 Really?

00:25:52.500 I've told you the minute that Donald Trump was gone, they were going to turn those cannons that have been so effective on smearing and doing everything they can to destroy Donald Trump all on us.

00:26:13.240 And I mean, people in the media.

00:26:14.480 Well, it has begun.

00:26:18.820 It is here.

00:26:21.400 Let me give you, before I tell you about the phone call that came in.

00:26:25.900 No, let me tell you about the phone call that came in first.

00:26:31.980 A couple of days ago, I started seeing tweets, uh, from the left about our Blaze TV correspondent, Elijah Schaefer.

00:26:41.140 Uh, I guess the, they didn't like the fact that he was reporting on the Capitol riots.

00:26:46.740 Um, even though he was against the Capitol riots, he was, uh, saying things that pissed his followers and his audience off, uh, like nobody's business because he knows his job is to tell the truth on what's going on.

00:27:05.160 The truth doesn't matter to the left, the daily beast, which is, I mean, the beast really is the appropriate name for these people.

00:27:15.860 They, uh, they wrote a smear piece.

00:27:18.440 One might even say deflamatory.

00:27:21.000 One might say that I might say that attorneys might say that, but they wrote a piece about Elijah Schaefer.

00:27:28.920 Here's the headline daily beast, Glenn Beck employee boasts of breaching Nancy Pelosi's office alongside revolutionaries and quote, uh, okay.

00:27:46.600 He was there as a journalist and he was reporting.

00:27:50.860 There's many ways to take revolutionary, uh, a good way and a bad way.

00:27:55.820 Historically in America, we look at revolutionaries as a good thing.

00:28:01.840 That's not what Elijah was referring to.

00:28:04.740 He was not referring to the good kind of revolutionary.

00:28:07.660 We have talked about it multiple times.

00:28:11.180 Revolutions don't end well.

00:28:15.040 He was reporting on what was going on.

00:28:19.140 Just as he has reported when he's been in the belly of the beast and risking his life with Antifa and he has provided you in the media with much of your video because you don't have anybody there.

00:28:36.760 Now, at first, my reaction was, this is what they do to independence and conservative voices.

00:28:48.520 Smear, rinse, repeat, smear, rinse, repeat.

00:28:52.420 Little gnats go away.

00:28:55.920 I have dealt with this for years.

00:28:58.740 But then, Mr. Fang Bang himself, Eric Swalwell, goes a step further.

00:29:12.820 He suggested that the FBI arrest Elijah, a reporter, for doing his job, something protected by the First Amendment.

00:29:25.760 Eric Swalwell tweets, dear FBI, meet Elijah Schaefer.

00:29:36.260 Elijah Schaefer took a picture inside of Nancy Pelosi's office.

00:29:42.800 And he said, I'm inside with Nancy, inside Nancy Pelosi's office with the thousands of revolutionaries who have stormed the building to put into perspective how quickly staff has evacuated.

00:29:56.720 Here, emails are still on the screen alongside a federal alert warning members of the current revolution.

00:30:03.720 This is something the New York Times should have done.

00:30:10.800 Elijah deleted that because we said you should not put what was on the screen open in the public.

00:30:21.660 There was nothing wrong with it, but we felt uncomfortable.

00:30:24.580 And Elijah, outside of the heat of the moment, felt uncomfortable, too.

00:30:28.940 Not that he was in Nancy Pelosi's office.

00:30:32.500 He was documenting it as a journalist.

00:30:35.480 He was not cheering it on.

00:30:37.320 He was saying the opposite.

00:30:41.600 I encourage everyone to watch my Wednesday night show where Elijah was on and I asked him journalistic questions.

00:30:52.680 Was it Antifa?

00:30:55.020 No.

00:30:55.660 No.

00:30:57.180 Neo-Nazis.

00:30:59.000 No.

00:31:00.000 Glenn, I've been to the neo-Nazi, you know, protests and violent protests.

00:31:09.180 I've been beat up by Antifa.

00:31:13.000 I've been inside.

00:31:14.320 I know their faces.

00:31:17.280 This was our side.

00:31:21.380 Do you think he wanted to say that?

00:31:23.460 The answer is, yes, he did.

00:31:28.820 You know why?

00:31:29.780 Because his side is the truth.

00:31:32.980 That is our side.

00:31:35.060 The truth.

00:31:38.060 I am proud of Elijah Schaefer.

00:31:43.040 You are not going to find a hint that he is sympathetic to violent rioters.

00:31:49.620 What you'll see is him telling the truth.

00:31:53.200 In fact, he led in the reporting to squash the rumors that Antifa was behind the siege.

00:32:00.920 I said, isn't this guy the guy with Antifa?

00:32:05.560 He corrected me and said, no, he's QAnon.

00:32:10.240 So, I didn't delete the tweet.

00:32:13.720 I corrected the tweet.

00:32:16.760 He was on the front line debunking his, quote, own side.

00:32:24.240 He was on the front line.

00:32:33.760 Snitching censors and fascists.

00:32:37.760 They alerted Facebook that one of the deplorables must be depersoned.

00:32:44.560 And as of this morning, Elijah Schaefer's personal, personal Facebook and Instagram account have been deleted.

00:32:55.440 The pictures of him with his dog and his family.

00:32:58.480 Dangerous.

00:32:59.460 Gone.

00:33:00.620 He has been depersoned.

00:33:02.900 The left is now going after him because they know he'll tell the truth.

00:33:09.340 They know his work is dangerous because he will actually go in when the rest of the media is saying, oh, no, these people are mostly peaceful.

00:33:19.300 And he'll show the people who are shooting and gunning people down in the streets.

00:33:26.500 He will also show the faces and identify the faces of those who were breaking glass and trying to harass and God knows what in the Capitol.

00:33:39.340 He will tell the truth.

00:33:41.640 You can't have an honest broker.

00:33:45.760 It is predictable.

00:33:50.280 But here's where I say it has begun.

00:33:55.340 30 minutes ago, 45 minutes ago now, I learned that CNN thinks it's worth using their precious resources now to investigate Elijah, a credentialed reporter.

00:34:07.880 They have started digging around, trying to call his family and all of his past colleagues to find out who he really is.

00:34:17.840 I can guarantee you they will go all the way until he was, what, six?

00:34:24.020 The day, I mean, he's a young guy.

00:34:26.420 So what was the first day he was online?

00:34:33.740 They are going to go into everything about him.

00:34:36.760 And I have confidence that he is fine.

00:34:40.060 If he said something when he was 12, I don't really give a flying F.

00:34:44.900 I don't care.

00:34:47.740 I don't care.

00:34:49.100 I care who a man is today.

00:34:55.240 I want you to know I will never fire Elijah Schaefer because Elijah Schaefer doesn't work for me.

00:35:03.140 He works for the blaze.

00:35:05.220 I'm the founder of the blaze.

00:35:07.740 I'm not controlling the blaze.

00:35:11.100 I have nothing to do with the blaze.

00:35:12.840 But I will tell you this.

00:35:16.240 The phone call I got was from blaze media.

00:35:19.320 They're not going to fire him.

00:35:21.920 They are not going to.

00:35:23.560 We believe an attack on one is an attack on all.

00:35:27.920 And we stand behind Elijah Schaefer.

00:35:31.560 And I don't care what you try to do to him.

00:35:34.520 They've already tried to ruin his reputation.

00:35:42.560 They are going to come after his press credentials.

00:35:45.280 They're going to come after his sponsors.

00:35:47.920 They're going to come after us.

00:35:50.280 They're going to come after me.

00:35:53.840 They're going to come after all of us.

00:35:57.200 They're coming after Mark Levin, who's also part of blaze media.

00:36:01.160 They're coming after him.

00:36:02.580 They're coming after Fox.

00:36:05.320 They're coming after OAN.

00:36:07.820 Let me just give you this.

00:36:11.080 CNN is leading the charge to find out why Newsmax, One America News, and yes, Fox News,

00:36:20.880 are still being carried by AT&T and Comcast and all of the cable and satellite networks.

00:36:29.040 They will fold.

00:36:32.140 They will fold.

00:36:35.480 The next thing, they're coming after Rush Limbaugh.

00:36:38.980 Today, they're coming after Rush Limbaugh and trying to pressure Clear Channel in Premiere.

00:36:44.100 They've been, this isn't their first rodeo.

00:36:47.040 Quite honestly, it is Rush Limbaugh that saved AM radio.

00:36:54.480 Your local radio station exists today because of Rush Limbaugh.

00:36:59.280 There is freedom of speech that could be heard on a mass media because of Clear Channel, because of Premiere Radio.

00:37:09.880 But money doesn't talk, it screams.

00:37:19.500 And I can guarantee you, they will come after our sponsors.

00:37:24.900 I know it to be true because I've lived it before.

00:37:28.100 But this time, it is to the death for them.

00:37:34.640 They will take it to the death.

00:37:37.980 They will not stop until all of us are done.

00:37:44.540 This is the day I built the blaze for.

00:37:48.000 We will not comply.

00:37:58.960 But I warn you.

00:38:03.560 To do what we do takes enormous sums of money.

00:38:07.860 Forget me, my salary.

00:38:09.720 I'm fine.

00:38:10.780 I'll work for free.

00:38:12.040 To do what this network does takes enormous amounts of money.

00:38:19.520 And we built this thing with a shock absorber.

00:38:23.360 And that's you, your subscription.

00:38:27.920 There's going to come a time you won't have to worry about if this is commercial free or not.

00:38:32.340 Because I believe there are going to be very few people that will advertise.

00:38:38.280 Because they are going to come under such beating that their business will be destroyed.

00:38:44.680 I think there are a few advertisers that will say, fine, bring it on.

00:39:26.520 Find somebody who does offer the truth to you and is going to stand.

00:39:33.300 Because today is the day I have feared for at least 10 years.

00:39:42.840 It is here.

00:39:43.860 Na na na na na.
